  12. >> Amen. I appreciate the good singing this

  13. morning. I'd like you to turn with me to

  14. the book of 1 Kings chapter number 20.

  15. When you find your place, if you would

  16. stand it on the reverence of the reading

  17. of God's word, if you're able. And I

  18. appreciate you being here and I thank

  19. the Lord for allowing us to be

  20. in the house of God today. I want to say

  21. this,

  22. let him not in here.

  23. >> Amen.

  24. >> If I was where I belonged this morning,

  25. that's where I'd be.

  26. Amen. But I'm thankful, amen. Bible says

  27. if any man be in Christ, he's a new

  28. preacher, amen. And I'm thankful that

  29. he's able to make all things new. And he

  30. is truly good this morning and I bless

  31. his name. 1 Kings chapter 20, let's

    1 Kings 20 chapter mention

  32. begin reading in verse number

  33. Let's begin reading verse number 22.

  34. Verse number 22,

  35. 1 Kings chapter 20.

    1 Kings 20 chapter mention

  36. The Bible says, "And the prophet came to

  37. the king of Israel

  38. and said unto him, go strengthen thyself

  39. and mark and see what thou doest. For at

  40. the return of the year, the king of

  41. Syria will come up against thee." And

  42. the servants of the king of Syria said

  43. unto him, "Their gods are gods of the

  44. hills. Therefore, they were stronger

  45. than we.

  46. Let us fight against them in the plain

  47. and surely we shall be stronger than

  48. they.

  49. And do this thing. Take the kings away,

  50. every man out of his place and put

  51. captains in their rooms and number thee

  52. an army like the army that thou has

  53. lost, horse for horse and

  54. chariot for chariot and we will fight

  55. against them in the plain and surely we

  56. shall be stronger than they. And he

  57. hearkened unto their voice and did so.

  58. And it came to pass at the return of the

  59. year that Ben-hadad numbered the Syrians

  60. went up to Aphek

  61. to fight against Israel.

  62. And the children of Israel were numbered

  63. and were all present and went against

  64. them. And the children of Israel pitched

  65. before them like two little flocks of

  66. kids, but the Syrians filled the

  67. country.

  68. And there came a man of God and spake

  69. unto the king of Israel and said,

  70. Thus saith the Lord,

  71. because the Syrians have said, The Lord

  72. is the God of the hills, but he is not

  73. God of the valleys, therefore will I

  74. deliver all this great multitude into

  75. thine hand

  76. and ye shall know

  77. that I

  78. am the Lord.

  79. Now Father, I come before you this

  80. morning one more time

  81. this side of eternity

  82. Lord to ask humbly for your help.

  83. God, I cannot preach this morning if you

  84. do not enable me.

  85. And Lord, I thank thee that you've given

  86. me the opportunity, the privilege, but

  87. Lord, you've given me the calling to

  88. give the gospel.

  89. And I thank you, Father, for this place

  90. and for these people and for this pulpit

  91. you've allowed me to stand behind and I

  92. thank you for every time you filled me.

  93. But God, this is another time I need

  94. your filling.

  95. I need it more than I've ever needed it

  96. before.

  97. And God, I ask Lord, you'd clothe me in

  98. your calling. I pray you'd rid me the

  99. flesh, sin and self, I pray you'd put

  100. far behind me. And God, I ask this

  101. morning you'd bind the forces of hell,

  102. the power of Satan to hinder this

  103. service.

  104. Lord, we cry out to you and ask for your

  105. divine help. God, we ask Lord this

  106. morning you would be pleased with our

  107. worship. God, I pray you'd allow us to

  108. lift up our hands in the sanctuary and

  109. bless the Lord. God, I pray today we

  110. would rejoice God that you are not just

  111. God on the mountain,

  112. but Lord, you're God in the valley as

  113. well.

  114. And Lord, I ask you God that you would

  115. help us today. You know what we stand in

  116. need of, save the center near his tail,

  117. reclaim the backslidden, for that one

  118. that's struggling today. I pray they

  119. would find comfort and rest in the word

  120. of God. And Lord, I I thank you for what

  121. you do, but I praise you most of all for

  122. who you are. And Lord, it's because of

  123. who you are we ask it in Jesus' name,

  124. for his sake we pray. Amen. You can be

  125. seated. Thank you

  126. for standing.

  127. The Bible says in chapter number 20 of 1

  128. Kings in verse number 20 28, the Bible

  129. says, "Because the Syrians have said,

  130. the Lord is the God of is God of the

  131. hills, but he is not God of the valleys.

  132. Therefore, I will I deliver all this

  133. great multitude into thine hand, and you

  134. shall know that I am the Lord."

  135. I want to preach on this thought for a

  136. little while this morning with the help

  137. of the Lord on victory

  138. in the valley.

  139. Victory

  140. in the valley. Now, I don't know where

  141. you are at this morning, and as every

  142. service, I many times preface my sermon

  143. with that statement, and the reality is

  144. that I never have and never will know

  145. this every situation that is present in

  146. the house of God this morning, but I do

  147. know this this morning that we're all

  148. human.

  149. Amen.

  150. We're all human, and humans are prone to

  151. failure, we're prone to folly, we're

  152. prone to fear. But I'll say this this

  153. morning, God is still the same. Amen,

  154. and I bless his name this morning that

  155. he has not changed. And this text this

  156. morning, we dealt with the first 21

  157. verses in Sunday school this morning and

  158. talked about this man Ahab. And we

  159. noticed in verse number 22 that there is

  160. a prophet that comes and gives Ahab a

  161. message. This prophet has spoken Ahab

  162. prior to this text in verse number 13,

  163. but he has another message. You see,

  164. Ahab has just come off of a victory in

  165. battle in this text. And I want to say

  166. this, there's never a more vulnerable

  167. time in your life when you are on the

  168. other side of a victory. I want to say

  169. this many times when we are down in

  170. defeat and we are in doubt and despair.

  171. Many times we are not in danger for

  172. reality is that many times the greatest

  173. harm we can be to ourselves is defeated,

  174. but the worst place we can be in is in a

  175. place of victory and riding on that

  176. victory and not aware of the

  177. circumstances that would surround us.

  178. And I want to say this this morning, I

  179. hope that you'll do some self-inventory

  180. and locate yourself this morning and and

  181. and find out where you're at with the

  182. Lord. But I I noticed that there is a

  183. witness in verse 22, the Bible says,

  184. "And the prophet came." And so, we know

  185. the prophet there signifies that this is

  186. a witness from the Lord. He is an

  187. ambassador from God and God has given

  188. him a word in this text. And not only we

  189. notice the witness, but we notice the

  190. warning. In verse 22, he came to the

  191. king of Israel and said unto him, "Go

  192. strengthen thyself and mark and see what

  193. thou doest." And so, he is telling him,

  194. "All right, look, you need to do some

  195. self-inventory. You need to examine your

  196. life." Look, he has just wrought victory

  197. in verse number 21 by the hand of the

  198. Lord God has given him victory. And in

  199. verse 22, the prophet says, "You need to

  200. go and figure out. You need to go and

  201. examine yourself what you're doing." And

  202. let me say this to you this morning,

  203. sometimes victory comes in our lives so

  204. that we might examine ourselves. And I

  205. want to say in every case, really most

  206. of the time victory comes in spite of us

  207. and who we are this morning. Many times

  208. the God has God has to work around us

  209. and work beyond us cuz in reality, we

  210. just hinder ourselves most of the time.

  211. Amen. But I notice here this warning

  212. that's given. He said, "Go strengthen

  213. thyself and mark and see what thou

  214. doest." And notice this warning leans to

  215. the word that is to come. Look what he

  216. says, "For at the return of the year,

  217. the king of Syria will come up against

  218. thee." And so, this is simply signifying

  219. that in a year's time, there were

  220. certain times of the year that kings

  221. would go forth to battle. We know we

  222. often talk about the book of Samuel

  223. there in chapter number 11. The Bible

  224. says that when David was at home at the

  225. time when kings go forth to battle. And

  226. that simply signifies that due to the

  227. weather, either the extreme heat or the

  228. extreme cold, they would only battle in

  229. certain times of the year. And so the

  230. Bible tells us here the man of God, the

  231. prophet says, "Look, in a year, in the

  232. next time when kings are going to

  233. battle, they are going to return and

  234. come up against thee." And I want to say

  235. this to you this morning. If you've been

  236. given victory, you need to realize that

  237. victory on this side is only temporary.

  238. Amen. Every day of your life you need to

  239. seek God and you need to have victory in

  240. your heart over your flesh, over the

  241. devil, and over this world. You will not

  242. have that in your life if you're not

  243. faithful to seek for it. And I notice

  244. that the man of God has given him this

  245. warning. And then we notice here in the

  246. text that out of this they begin to

  247. prepare. And I want to give you a few

  248. things this morning. We We notice that

  249. the Syrians are beginning to prepare for

  250. battle in verse number 23. And I want to

  251. give you a few things by way of

  252. introduction. We'll give you the message

  253. this morning. The Bible says, "And the

  254. servants of the king of Syria said unto

  255. him, Their gods are gods of the hills.

  256. Therefore they were stronger than we,

  257. but let us fight against them in the

  258. plain, and surely we shall be stronger

  259. than they." And I noticed in this text

  260. that God is seeing all this. He see

  261. these words that the Syrians are saying

  262. here in this text. These are not words

  263. that are being broadcast to the children

  264. of Israel, but this is the plan of the

  265. enemy against the children of God. And

  266. let me say this to you this morning,

  267. child of God. Many times, and most of

  268. the time, you cannot recognize the plan

  269. of the enemy until you are face to face

  270. with the battle. Amen. And the enemy is

  271. is working behind the scenes, doing all

  272. that he can to destroy you. But aren't

  273. you thankful this morning the things

  274. that you don't know about, the things

  275. that the enemy's got in store for you to

  276. come? God knows what's around the

  277. corner. You say, "What do you mean?"

  278. Well, the Bible said in verse 28 that

  279. the man of God came and spake to the

  280. king of Israel and said, "Thus saith the

  281. Lord, because the Syrians have said"

  282. Notice that. You see, those Syrians did

  283. not say that to the Israelites, but God

  284. heard those Syrians and heard what they

  285. were saying. Amen. And you know what he

  286. did? He went to the man of God and he

  287. said, "Hey, the enemy's saying that I'm

  288. not a god of the valleys, that I'm just

  289. a god of the hills. But, I've got

  290. something I want you to tell my people.

  291. Amen. Oh, aren't you thankful for the

  292. times in your life when God sent a word

  293. by the preacher man that said even you

  294. didn't even know what was on the

  295. forefront. You didn't even know what you

  296. was beginning to face, but God did.

  297. Amen. And he knew exactly what the enemy

  298. was saying. And because of that, he

  299. sends a word by the preacher and says,

  300. "All right, you're going to have to

  301. listen to me so you can have victory.

  302. Amen." And I want to say this this

  303. morning, I'm thankful that God is a god

  304. of the hills. David said it this way, "I

  305. will look unto the hills from whence

  306. cometh my help. My help cometh from the

  307. Lord." But, I want to say this, just as

  308. much as he's a god of the hills and the

  309. god of heaven and the god of the

  310. mountains. Amen. He is the god of the

  311. valley. Amen. He is the god of the low

  312. places. And there's some of you here

  313. this morning that no doubt in my mind

  314. have been in a low place for some time.

  315. Oh, but friend, let me remind you one

  316. more time, just as he's god on the

  317. mountain top, HE IS STILL GOD IN THE

  318. VALLEY. HE'S STILL GOD JUST AS HE IS ON

  319. THE MOUNTAIN top able to provide for

  320. your needs. The valley does not aid

  321. hinder HIS ABILITY TO PROVIDE FOR YOU.

  322. AMEN.

  323. I want to say this, God is still god in

  324. the valley in spite of what the enemy

  325. says.

  326. You say, "What do you mean?"

  327. Well, the Syrians said their gods are

  328. gods of the hills.

  329. You know what? The world tries to

  330. determine who our god is.

  331. But, you know what? They've been trying

  332. to put God in a box for some 6,000 years

  333. now and they've just found that ain't

  334. never never any of that work. Amen. I

  335. want to say this, their saying was bad

  336. doctrine. Notice this. Their gods are

  337. gods of the hills. You say, "How is that

  338. bad doctrine?" Well, you see the

  339. plurality there. Their gods. You see

  340. everybody else's gods to them was just

  341. like theirs. Amen. Multiple, amen, and

  342. helpless all at the same time. Their

  343. gods have eyes but they see not. They

  344. have ears but they hear not. They have

  345. lips but they speak not. Hands but they

  346. reach not. I'm saying, friend, they had

  347. no ability to help themselves. And what

  348. we realize in this text here is that

  349. their saying is their doctrine is bad.

  350. Let me say this, the world wants to spit

  351. on our God and even much of the

  352. so-called church world wants to spit on

  353. our God in this day and time and say my

  354. God's not like that. Well, let me say

  355. this, YOUR GOD MAY NOT be but mine is.

  356. Amen. I want to say he's still holy and

  357. he's still righteous. And in spite of

  358. every bad doctrine that's put out on the

  359. face of so-called Christendom IN THIS

  360. DAY AND TIME, GOD IS STILL THE GOD OF

  361. THE KING JAMES BIBLE. AMEN. AND IT'S

  362. STILL RIGHT TO PREACH what that book

  363. says. And the world can say what they

  364. WANT TO. THE WORLD CAN DO WHAT they want

  365. to and call themselves Christian. But

  366. I'm going to tell you one of these DAYS

  367. THAT ALL THAT'S GOING TO COME TO THE

  368. SURFACE just like draws. It's going to

  369. be revealed. Amen. The third DOCTRINE

  370. THEY'RE SAYING THEY SAID A WHOLE LOT BUT

  371. NONE OF IT WAS TRUE. AMEN.

  372. You say, "Preacher, are those PEOPLE

  373. REALLY MY ENEMY?" THE BIBLE says you're

  374. to mark them that preach any other

  375. doctrine than what we preach to you.

  376. Notice this. You see their saying

  377. revealed their doctrine that it was bad

  378. but it also revealed their decision.

  379. You know what, we going to go fight

  380. against the people of God again.

  381. I want to say this, the devil, he's been

  382. fighting against the people of God for

  383. years and years. And you know what, he

  384. might win a few battles here and there

  385. but he's going to lose the war.

  386. And he can wage war against us but the

  387. Bible tells me that no weapon that is

  388. formed against thee shall prosper, amen.

  389. And his bad decision is the fact that

  390. he's never going to give in. He's never

  391. going to give up until one of these days

  392. God's just going to reach down and grab

  393. him by the neck and cast him into the

  394. pit, amen. And he'll never more be

  395. removed from that thing. I'm saying it's

  396. a bad decision for the world to come

  397. against the child of God. And you just

  398. know and mark her down this morning, the

  399. world's going to have a whole lot to say

  400. about how we live. The world's going to

  401. have A WHOLE LOT TO say about the way we

  402. live and what we preach AND WHAT WE

  403. BELIEVE, AMEN. BUT YOU LET THEM TALK,

  404. AMEN, BECAUSE AT THE end of the day

  405. we're not FIGHTING THE BATTLE, GOD IS,

  406. AMEN. And let me say this TO YOU THIS

  407. MORNING, GOD IS GOD ON THE MOUNTAIN, GOD

  408. IS GOD IN THE VALLEY IN SPITE OF WHAT

  409. THE ENEMY SAYS.

  410. Hey friend, don't you let the enemy tell

  411. you there's no hope for you this

  412. morning. DON'T YOU LET THE ENEMY TELL

  413. you that you'll never be right again.

  414. Don't you let THE ENEMY TELL YOU THAT

  415. THERE'S NEVER any forgiveness, there's

  416. never any help for your aid, never any

  417. help for your illness. There's not any

  418. hope for your ailments this morning. I'M

  419. SAYING FRIEND, YOU BELIEVE GOD in spite

  420. of what the enemy says.

  421. I want to say this, God is still God in

  422. spite of what the enemy says. I notice

  423. second of all, God is still God in spite

  424. of the enemy's strategy.

  425. You say, "What do you mean, preacher?"

  426. Well, notice the text.

  427. They decided they're going to go and

  428. fight against them in the plain. The

  429. Bible said, "And surely we shall be

  430. stronger than they." Notice verse 24.

  431. First of all, you see their strategy is

  432. misleading.

  433. He said that and do this thing, take the

  434. kings away, every man out of his place,

  435. and put captains in their rooms. You

  436. see, just a few verses prior the Bible

  437. says that those princes of Israel came

  438. against the Syrians that year prior. In

  439. verse number 16, they went out at noon,

  440. the princes did, Ben-Hadad was drinking

  441. himself drunk in the pavilions, he and

  442. the kings, the 32 kings that helped him,

  443. and the young men of the princes of the

  444. provinces went out first, and Ben-Hadad

  445. sent out and they told him saying,

  446. "There are men come out of Samaria and

  447. he said whether they be come out for

  448. peace take them alive or whether they be

  449. come out for war take them alive. So

  450. these young men of the prince of the

  451. province came out of the city and the

  452. army which followed them and they slew

  453. everyone his man and the Syrians fled

  454. and Israel pursued them and Ben Hadad

  455. the king of Syria escaped on an horse

  456. with a horseman. You say what does that

  457. mean? Well, it means that all of those

  458. kings, those 32 were setting in the

  459. pavilion drinking themselves drunk with

  460. Ben Hadad. And these princes of Israel

  461. began to run in there and they began to

  462. destroy them and they said all right,

  463. well, when they come back this time,

  464. we're going to have a captain of the

  465. army sitting in those kings' chairs. So

  466. when they come in along to slay the

  467. kings, we're going to destroy them when

  468. they come in. And let me say this, the

  469. devil's tactics are always changing.

  470. If he can't get you one way, he'll get

  471. you another.

  472. He'll get you by misleading.

  473. I noticed this, not only the strategy is

  474. misleading, but the strategy is

  475. multiplication. Notice verse 25. And

  476. number thee an army like the army that

  477. thou hast lost, horse for horse and

  478. chariot for chariot and we will fight

  479. against them in the plain and surely we

  480. shall be stronger than they. You see

  481. here he's telling them all right, you

  482. get the army that you had and you double

  483. it. You make it larger in size, horse

  484. for horse, chariot for chariot, you get

  485. as many as you had and double it and

  486. we're going to go up against them and

  487. fight against them. And let me say this,

  488. when longer you resist temptation, the

  489. harder that temptation's going to

  490. become. You're going to have to stand up

  491. and be strong, but I noticed we need to

  492. believe God in spite of the strategy,

  493. though it's misleading, though he's

  494. multiplying against us. And I want to

  495. say this, we need to believe God in

  496. spite of the enemy's strategy, in spite

  497. of the manipulation that they put us

  498. into.

  499. Notice this. We will fight against them

  500. in the plain, verse 25. And surely we

  501. shall be stronger than they. And he

  502. hearkened unto their voice and did so.

  503. You see the army of Syria in this text.

  504. They had over 125,000

  505. men.

  506. You say, "How is that?" Well, you notice

  507. later on in the chapter and we'll see in

  508. just a little bit that Israel slays

  509. 100,000 footmen in verse 29 and verse

  510. 30. There are 20 and 7,000 men that die

  511. in verse number 30 of the Syrians. I'm

  512. saying, friend, this army was huge.

  513. Israel only has 7,000.

  514. And so, you know what? Israel won the

  515. last time because they were in the

  516. hills. And you know what the hills

  517. provides? It provides some help in the

  518. battle, don't it?

  519. I like to think about American history.

  520. I think about those colonists that come

  521. over and they won that Revolutionary War

  522. because they knew how to fight. British,

  523. when they come over here, they'd all get

  524. in lines and they'd just shoot them down

  525. like dominoes.

  526. But we think about those men that were

  527. on this side, those colonists, they

  528. would hide behind the trees and the

  529. rocks and they would strategize their

  530. fighting. But you see, the enemy

  531. decided, "Look, we can't beat them in

  532. their own ground.

  533. Where They're going to have to come to

  534. our ground."

  535. Here's what'll happen in your life.

  536. You'll end up somewhere you don't

  537. belong.

  538. And you know what he'll do? He'll do his

  539. best to destroy you by manipulating you.

  540. You see, they wanted to get them in a

  541. plane where their horses and chariots

  542. could ride freely. Those mountains,

  543. those chariots were no good in the

  544. mountains around the trees and rivers

  545. and creeks and streams and all of that

  546. and the rocks. And so, they wanted to

  547. get them out in the open, out in the

  548. plain. Let me say this to you this

  549. morning, child of God, the devil wants

  550. to single you out out in the open, out

  551. in the wide open plain and throw his

  552. entire army against you. But I want to

  553. say this this morning, you just remember

  554. the God of those mountains where we're

  555. fit to serve and where we're fit to

  556. fight. When you get isolated, he's still

  557. the same God. Amen. He's still the same

  558. God when the devil MANIPULATES YOU. HE'S

  559. STILL THE SAME GOD WHEN THE ENEMY

  560. MULTIPLIES AGAINST YOU. HE'S STILL the

  561. same God in spite of every tactic THE

  562. ENEMY HAS. GOD CAN and will give

  563. victory. Amen. And we ought to believe

  564. him in spite of what the enemy says and

  565. in spite of the enemy's strategy. And

  566. we're to believe him in spite of the

  567. enemy's size. Hey friend, you just need

  568. to know this morning you're no match for

  569. the devil just like Israel is no match

  570. for these Syrians. But aren't you

  571. thankful what we lack in size, we make

  572. up for in strength in the person of God.

  573. I'm saying their size, the appearance.

  574. Notice verse 27, the children of Israel

  575. pitched before them. Notice it like two

  576. little flocks of kids.

  577. Looked like two little flocks of sheep

  578. before these Syrians.

  579. You know what? There's some of you think

  580. you're real big and bad.

  581. But you know what? Before the devil, you

  582. just look like a little sheep.

  583. A little helpless lamb. You say,

  584. "Preacher, I I'm a brawny individual.

  585. I'LL TAKE CARE OF MYSELF." WELL, you'll

  586. find out when the devil gets a hold of

  587. you that you won't make it as far as you

  588. thought you would, amen. I'm saying the

  589. appearance, it was like two little

  590. flocks of kids and the Syrians notice

  591. their advantage. The Syrians filled the

  592. country.

  593. I want to say this, it don't look good

  594. in our country, does it?

  595. We're outnumbered.

  596. But I want to say this, it don't matter

  597. how many of them there is, they'll never

  598. out-measure our God.

  599. I want to give you these three things

  600. and I'll be done this morning. I'm

  601. talking about victory in the valley.

  602. You see, we've got to believe God in

  603. spite of the saying of the enemy. We got

  604. to believe God in spite of the strategy

  605. of the enemy. We got to believe God in

  606. spite of the size of the enemy. And you

  607. say, "Why, preacher, why would I believe

  608. God? Why why would I believe God in

  609. spite of everything being against me?

  610. PREACHER, I DON'T FEEL LIKE there's a

  611. word good enough to satisfy me with the

  612. battle that I'm in."

  613. All right, well, let me give you three

  614. things this morning and let's see how

  615. you feel about it after we get done with

  616. this.

  617. Notice this, verse 28. And there came a

  618. man of God and spake unto the king of

  619. Israel and said, "Thus saith the Lord."

  620. God's still got something to say.

  621. Amen, friend. He's still talking in this

  622. day and time and you ought to rejoice

  623. for that.

  624. You say preacher, what do you mean?

  625. Well, there's been plenty of generations

  626. passed where God just shut up the

  627. heavens.

  628. You say how is that? Well, there was 400

  629. silent years between Malachi and Matthew

  630. where he didn't speak a thing, didn't

  631. reveal a thing and those men and women

  632. walked in darkness. I'm saying friend,

  633. we are walking in the light of the grace

  634. and glory of God in this day and time

  635. and we ought to bless his name for it

  636. that he's still got a word for us.

  637. Listen to this. Thus saith the Lord,

  638. because the Syrians have said, "The Lord

  639. is God of the hills, but he is not God

  640. of the valleys."

  641. I want to say this. All right, I want to

  642. say number one, you need to believe God

  643. in the valley.

  644. Because God

  645. is not limited to any place.

  646. You say what do you mean? Well, the

  647. Syrians said, "He's God of the hills,

  648. he's not God of the valleys.

  649. You see those God THAT GOD'S OF THE

  650. ISRAELITES, HE ONLY WORKS WHEN they're

  651. in their place.

  652. He only works when we come He only works

  653. when we come against their land. But if

  654. we get them in our territory,

  655. we'll take them out.

  656. We'll knock THEM DOWN. WE'LL TAKE CARE

  657. OF THEM JUST SHORT AND EASY AND GOD

  658. SAYS, "All right,

  659. I've got a word

  660. to say to that crowd."

  661. You say preacher, what are you saying?

  662. I'M SAYING ISRAEL DON'T even know the

  663. plan of the Syrians and God comes to

  664. them and says, "Hey look, this is what

  665. the enemy has said."

  666. Notice it again in the text.

  667. And there came a man of God and spake

  668. unto the king of Israel and said, "Thus

  669. saith the Lord, because the Syrians have

  670. said He don't even know that they've

  671. said this. He said, "Because the Syrians

  672. have said the Lord is God of the hills,

  673. but he is not God of the valleys." He

  674. says, "Therefore will I deliver all this

  675. great multitude into thine hand." You

  676. see, he wants this king to know, "Hey

  677. man, I'm not limited to any place."

  678. Let me say this. I don't know what place

  679. you're in.

  680. You say preacher, what do you mean?

  681. Well, I thought about it when I was

  682. studying it. I thought about, you know,

  683. Daniel found him while he was in the den

  684. of lions. The Hebrew children found him

  685. while they were in the fire. Paul found

  686. him in the middle of the raging sea.

  687. Peter found him in the middle of that

  688. sea when he saw him walking on the

  689. water. Joseph found him at Potiphar's

  690. house. HE FOUND HIM IN THE PIT. He found

  691. him IN THE PRISON. HE FOUND HIM AT THE

  692. PALACE. I'M SAYING, FRIEND, IT DON'T

  693. MATTER WHERE YOU FIND YOURSELF. DAVID

  694. SAID, "IF I FLY UP TO THE heavens as an

  695. eagle OR I MAKE MY BED IN HELL." HE

  696. SAID, "BEHOLD, THOU ART THERE." I'M

  697. SAYING, FRIEND, I DON'T KNOW WHERE

  698. YOU'RE AT THIS MOMENT. OH, BUT I CAN

  699. BLESS THE NAME OF GOD ABOVE THAT

  700. WHEREVER YOU'RE AT, THERE'S NOT A PLACE

  701. THAT HE'S NOT BEEN. THERE'S NOT A PLACE

  702. THAT HE NOT IS PRESENTLY. AMEN. I'M

  703. SAYING, FRIEND, HE'S RIGHT THERE WITH

  704. YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF IT. IT DON'T MATTER

  705. IF YOU'RE ON THE MOUNTAIN OR YOU'RE IN

  706. THE VALLEY. I'M SAYING, FRIEND, HE WILL

  707. BE THERE WITH YOU THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF

  708. IT. AMEN.

  709. Cuz he's not limited

  710. to any place.

  711. You say, "Preacher, what does that

  712. mean?" Well, I'll say this.

  713. If he was limited to any place, the

  714. gospel wouldn't be whosoever will.

  715. If there was some place he couldn't go,

  716. the gospel wouldn't say whosoever will,

  717. let them come.

  718. The Bible wouldn't say whosoever shall

  719. call upon the name of the Lord shall be

  720. saved. I'm saying, friend, if God was

  721. saving people that were religious, I'd

  722. have been left out. If God was saving

  723. people that were righteous, I'd have

  724. been left out. If God was saving people,

  725. amen, that were pretty and prompt and

  726. proper, amen, I'm saying I'D HAVE BEEN

  727. LEFT OUT. I'M SAYING, FRIEND, YOU OUGHT

  728. TO THANK GOD THAT HE REACHED DOWN TO

  729. WHERE YOU WAS AT. AMEN. HE'S NOT LIMITED

  730. TO ANY PLACE. OH, THANK GOD, HE'S NOT

  731. LIMITED TO ANY PERSON. HE'LL SAVE FROM

  732. THE UTTERMOST TO THE GUTTERMOST. IT

  733. DON'T MATTER HOW FAR YOU GONE. IT DON'T

  734. MATTER HOW LONG YOU'VE BEEN THERE. HEY,

  735. FRIEND, ALL THAT MATTERS IS HE WAS THERE

  736. WITH YOU. AND THANK GOD, HE'LL BE THERE

  737. WHEN YOU GET BACK. AMEN.

  738. OH, HE'S NOT LIMITED TO any place. The

  739. Syrians were wrong and the devil WILL

  740. TELL YOU HEY, THE DEVIL WILL SAY TO YOU

  741. GOD'S NOWHERE AROUND. GOD'S NOWHERE TO

  742. BE FOUND. OH FRIEND, YOU MAY NOT FEEL

  743. HIM, BUT YOU JUST KNOW ON THE AUTHORITY

  744. OF THAT BIBLE, HE'S THERE. HE'S WITH

  745. YOU. HE'S RIGHT BESIDE YOU. AMEN.

  746. Because he's not limited

  747. to a place.

  748. You say how is that preacher?

  749. Well,

  750. God in his wholeness,

  751. he could not leave heaven to reach

  752. sinners.

  753. But you know what? He sent his son

  754. to reach sinners.

  755. From the lowest

  756. to the highest sinner.

  757. There's not a one. Jesus said all of

  758. them

  759. that the father have given to me shall

  760. come to me.

  761. And he that cometh to me, I will in no

  762. wise cast out.

  763. He is not limited to any place.

  764. I want to say this second of all this

  765. morning.

  766. We can rejoice in the fact that God

  767. is a God of the mountain, but he is

  768. still a God of the valley because he's

  769. not limited to a place. But I'll say

  770. this second of all, we can rejoice that

  771. he's God in the valley

  772. because he's not lost his power.

  773. I want to say this.

  774. I don't ever want to lose the all

  775. of the power and presence of God.

  776. Say what do you mean? Well,

  777. the reality of my life and yours this

  778. morning is that none of us would be here

  779. if it hadn't been for the fact that he'd

  780. manifested his power unto us. You see,

  781. God tells this king in the text, he says

  782. therefore will I deliver all this great

  783. multitude into thine hand. You see, the

  784. Syrians thought that when he come off of

  785. that mountain, his power would

  786. dissipate. But you see, their God was

  787. not like their his God was

  788. the king's God was not like their gods.

  789. And I want to say this this morning, the

  790. world can say what they want to. That

  791. our God's dead. And I want to say this,

  792. they've said they've been saying it for

  793. years and they'll continue to say it as

  794. long as eternity rolls. It don't matter

  795. how much science proves that Jesus

  796. really did live, and Jesus really did

  797. die, and Jesus really did get up the

  798. third day, there's still going to be

  799. people that speak against the existence

  800. of God. There's still going to be people

  801. that speak against the existence of a

  802. divine creator. But I want to say this,

  803. it does not matter what they say, his

  804. power has not changed one iota. He is

  805. still able to save, amen. He is still

  806. able to create and destroy, amen. And in

  807. just the same way that he created the

  808. worlds and all that in them is, one of

  809. these days he's going to take it like a

  810. bed sheet and wrap it all up and it's

  811. going to be over with. IT'S NOT GOING TO

  812. BE A RENOVATION, BUT HE'S going to set

  813. an end to the things of this world. I'm

  814. saying, friend, he has not lost his

  815. power. Whatever God's done in the past,

  816. he can still do in the present. Is

  817. anybody in the building this morning?

  818. I'M SAYING, FRIEND, WHATEVER YOU NEED,

  819. he's able to give it to you this

  820. morning. WHEREVER YOU'RE AT, HE'S ABLE

  821. TO BRING IT TO WHERE YOU ARE. I'M

  822. SAYING, FRIEND, I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU

  823. NEED. MAYBE YOU NEED TO BE SAVED. LET ME

  824. SAY THIS TO YOU THIS MORNING, HE'S STILL

  825. ABLE TO SAVE. ALL AND EVERY SINNER THAT

  826. WOULD CALL UPON HIM BY FAITH, HE'S ABLE

  827. TO SAVE TO THE UTTERMOST. AND ALL YOU

  828. HAVE TO do is ask.

  829. I'm talking about victory in the valley.

  830. Why can we have victory in the valley?

  831. Because God's not limited to a place.

  832. We can have victory in the valley

  833. because he's not lost his power.

  834. But I think this one helps me as much as

  835. anything.

  836. We can have victory in the valley

  837. because God has not left his people.

  838. You say, "What do you mean?" Well,

  839. notice the verse.

  840. The Lord is God of the hills, but he's

  841. not God of the valleys. Therefore, I

  842. deliver all the straight multitude in

  843. the vine hand. Notice this.

  844. And ye shall know

  845. that I'm the Lord.

  846. I told our Sunday school class this this

  847. morning.

  848. I said Ahab was the most wicked king

  849. that ever lived in the history of

  850. Israel.

  851. But you know what? He was still king of

  852. Israel.

  853. And you know what? Israel was still

  854. God's people.

  855. Let me say this to you in this day and

  856. time, Israel is still God's people.

  857. And regardless of what

  858. the so-called right-wing news media says

  859. that Israel, the nation, is not the

  860. Israel of God.

  861. They'll find out one of these days when

  862. they stand at the judgment, they'll wish

  863. that they have they had recognized

  864. that nation as God's people.

  865. But I want to say this, this rising

  866. opinion of Israel in our land is showing

  867. us the destruction of what would be

  868. our world as it is. You say, "What do

  869. you mean?" Well, the Bible says that all

  870. nations will turn on little Israel.

  871. And you know what? America was the only

  872. nation that stood with her.

  873. But it's quickly happening on both sides

  874. of the curtain.

  875. On both wings of the bird this morning,

  876. they're turning on Israel.

  877. You say, "What do you mean?" Well, I'm

  878. saying this morning that Israel's God's

  879. people, and I want you to get this,

  880. okay? Ahab was the most wicked king

  881. that's ever been, but the Bible says in

  882. this text

  883. he says, "I'm going to deliver this

  884. multitude into thy hand."

  885. And he said, "Ye shall know

  886. that I am the Lord."

  887. Ahab didn't ask for this.

  888. He didn't ask for deliverance. He didn't

  889. pray for it cuz matter of fact, if he'd

  890. prayed, it wouldn't have got out of his

  891. mouth and made it upward, it would have

  892. went straight to the ground.

  893. He was wicked.

  894. I mean, I I mean, incomparably wicked to

  895. anybody that was before or after him,

  896. the Bible says.

  897. And the Bible tells us that God looks at

  898. him and says,

  899. "I'm going to deliver this company into

  900. your hand

  901. so that you will know

  902. that I am the Lord. You say, "What's so

  903. special about that?" Well, he's done

  904. delivered the Syrians into his hand one

  905. time already in this chapter.

  906. But, you know what? They have still

  907. living wickedly.

  908. You know what amazes me?

  909. It amazes me at the people that call

  910. themselves Christians

  911. in this day and time

  912. that go on and live wickedly. And God

  913. continues to to bless

  914. and to allow things into their life. You

  915. say, "Preacher, God's not going to bless

  916. me when I'm in wickedness." No, you're

  917. not you're you're right you're right

  918. about that. Here's the thing about it.

  919. People still make money.

  920. People still enjoy their hobbies. People

  921. still do all the things people do and it

  922. looks like if as if everything's fine.

  923. And you know what? God allows it.

  924. And here's the thing, all right? God is

  925. doing that. He's going to allow victory

  926. because he's the Lord and he's going to

  927. get glory unto himself in whatever

  928. fashion that comes. But, I want to say

  929. this to you this morning. The church in

  930. this day and time is a pitiful

  931. representation of what the church is

  932. called to be.

  933. All right?

  934. You say, "What do you mean?" Well, you

  935. go back to the book of Acts and you find

  936. about that early church. You study

  937. through those Pauline epistles and

  938. you'll find what the commission of the

  939. church is supposed to be.

  940. What a pitiful representation of that we

  941. are.

  942. I'm saying, friend, the truth is we're

  943. getting victory in spite of how we're

  944. living.

  945. We are We are seeing the blessings of

  946. God in spite of our failure to

  947. evangelize this country.

  948. You say, "Preacher, what does that say?"

  949. Well, it says that God has honored his

  950. people.

  951. And if you're saved by the grace of God

  952. this morning, you know what? Regardless

  953. of how you live your life, you'll enter

  954. into heaven one of these days.

  955. But, you know what the difference is?

  956. You'll enter in there shamed.

  957. Because at one moment in eternity one

  958. moment in eternity, you'll realize all

  959. that you should have done.

  960. But, then after you think about all that

  961. you could have done, you going to come

  962. to one conclusion.

  963. God never left me.

  964. We ought to shout the roof off this

  965. place.

  966. In spite of everything that you are and

  967. are not,

  968. in spite of everything that I am and am

  969. not, in spite of every failure that I'll

  970. have from now until he comes and gets

  971. me, I'm still his child.

  972. And he will not leave his children.

  973. Israel failed him and ultimately one of

  974. these days there will be judgment for

  975. them. We talked about that on last

  976. Sunday.

  977. But I want to say this this morning, God

  978. has not left his people.

  979. And I noticed in this text they wrote

  980. they worked victory in verse 29.

  981. And they pitched one over against the

  982. other 7 days and so it was that in the

  983. seventh day the battle was joined. And

  984. the children of Israel slew the Syrians

  985. and 100,000 footmen in one day.

  986. But the rest fled to Aphek and in the

  987. city there a wall fell upon 20 and 7,000

  988. of the men that were left. And Ben-hadad

  989. fled and came into the city into an

  990. inner chamber.

  991. And the Bible tells us here in the text

  992. that Ahab is going to spare this man. We

  993. may preach on that tonight.

  994. But I noticed these principles in this

  995. text. God brought victory in spite of

  996. Ahab in this text. He delivered his

  997. people in spite of Ahab's leadership.

  998. And I rest in the fact that God's going

  999. to deliver his church in spite of the

  1000. president.

1001. God's going to take care of his people

1002. in spite of the governments of men.

1003. But I thought about this.

1004. You know, I I have some factors that

1005. come into my mind out of this text is

1006. this. Number one, you can't handle the

  1007. valley alone.

  1008. You say preacher, but

1009. nobody else really knows or nobody else

1010. really understands. Well, you see you're

  1011. missing one in that.

  1012. God does.

1013. You say how could he understand?" Well,

  1014. he made you.

1015. He knew what was going to happen to you.

1016. He knows where you're at. He knows where

1017. you will be 10 years, 20 years, 30 years

  1018. from now.

1019. You say, "Preacher, what do you mean I

1020. cannot handle the valley alone?" Well,

1021. you turn to the book of Judges chapter 1

    Judges 1 chapter mention

1022. verse number 19. You'll find that when

1023. Israel's coming into the land of Canaan,

1024. they are fighting against the the

1025. nations that are present in Canaan. And

1026. the Bible says that the Lord was with

1027. Judah Judges 1 verse number 19. And it

1028. says in the last part of that verse that

1029. they drove them out, but it says they

1030. come down to a group that was in the

1031. valley and they could not drive them

  1032. out.

1033. You know what every valley in your life

1034. that most valleys in your life, pretty

1035. much all valleys in your life, you're

1036. not going to be able to get through them

  1037. on your own.

1038. They couldn't get rid of those

1039. inhabitants in the valley by themselves.

1040. You're not going to be able to make it

1041. through the valley alone. But I thought

  1042. about this.

1043. You see, there's help for your valley.

1044. You say, "What is that help?" I think it

1045. comes in one thing. Verse number 28.

1046. God said, "Therefore will I deliver all

1047. this great multitude into thine hand and

1048. ye shall know." What's What's he going

1049. to know? He said, "You're going to know

1050. that I'm the Lord." Let me ask you

1051. something. Who was the greatest

  1052. Christian that ever lived?

  1053. It's the Apostle Paul, wasn't it?

1054. And you know what encouraged him on his

1055. journey? What was What was Paul

  1056. continually seeking for?

1057. He said, "That I may know

  1058. him."

1059. You know what the greatest privilege of

1060. your life and mine is?

  1061. Knowing him.

1062. You know how you're going to make it

  1063. through the valley?

  1064. It's knowing him.

1065. You say, "What do you mean?" I'm talking

  1066. about it's a relationship. I'm not

1067. saying that you that you just know who

1068. he is or you know about him. I'm saying

1069. you have a relationship with him.

1070. God is stretching out his hand to a

1071. NATION WHO HAS REJECTED HIM AND HE SAID,

1072. "I'M GOING TO DO THIS FOR YOU THAT YOU

1073. MAY KNOW ME. I'M SAYING, FRIEND, GOD

1074. SAVED YOU SO THAT YOU COULD KNOW HIM.

1075. PAUL SAYS, I SERVE HIM THAT I MIGHT KNOW

1076. HIM. PAUL SAYS, I SUFFER THAT I MIGHT

1077. KNOW HIM. THE REASON WE LIVE IS THE

1078. KNOWLEDGE OF WHO HE IS, CUZ THAT'S THE

1079. ONLY WAY WE CAN LIVE THIS MORNING. The

1080. problem THAT YOU HAVE CANNOT BE FIXED on

1081. your own. THE ONLY WAY THAT YOU'LL FIND

1082. HELP IS IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM THIS

  1083. MORNING. I'm saying there's hope for

1084. your valley. You say, PREACHER, WHAT IF

1085. I NEVER COME OUT? WELL, YOU CAN HAVE HIM

1086. THERE WITH YOU. YOU MIGHT TRY THE LOW

1087. LANDS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE UNTIL

1088. YOU LEAVE THIS WORLD. BUT ONE OF THESE

1089. DAYS WE'RE GOING TO A PLACE, OH

1090. HALLELUJAH, WHERE THERE NEVER WILL BE

1091. ANOTHER VALLEY. YOU SAY, HOW IS THAT?

1092. WELL, I THOUGHT ABOUT THE FACT THAT YOU

1093. CAN'T HANDLE the valley alone, AND THERE

1094. IS HELP for a valley. LET ME SAY THIS,

1095. ONE DAY WE WILL WALK THE LAST VALLEY.

1096. OH, HALLELUJAH THIS MORNING. OH, FRIEND,

1097. JOEL CHAPTER NUMBER three talks about

  1098. multitudes,

1099. multitudes in the VALLEY OF DECISION.

1100. AND YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS? GOD HAS

1101. GATHERED THE GENTILE NATIONS OF THE

1102. WORLD TO THAT PLACE, AND HE'S GOING TO

1103. JUDGE THEM THERE. AND YOU KNOW WHAT'S

1104. GOING TO HAPPEN? THE CHILDREN OF GOD,

1105. THE BIBLE SAID IN VERSE 16 OF JOEL 3,

1106. THAT THE THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL ARE

1107. GOING TO WALK OUT OF THAT VALLEY, AND

1108. THE LORD WILL BE THEIR HELP. I'M SAYING,

1109. FRIEND, WHEN THAT LAST BATTLE IS FOUGHT,

1110. THERE'LL NEVER BE ANOTHER VALLEY.

1111. THERE'LL NEVER BE ANOTHER LOW PLACE.

1112. THERE'LL NEVER BE A PLACE OF STRUGGLE.

  1113. I'M SAYING WE'RE HEADED TO A PLACE WHERE

1114. THERE'LL NEVER BE ANOTHER VALLEY. AMEN.

  1115. AND I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, but I'm

1116. looking forward to that. I'm a sick and

1117. tired OF WALKING THESE LOW PLACES, BUT

1118. LET ME TELL YOU THIS THIS MORNING, I

1119. KNOW WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THAT IF

1120. I JUST LOOK UP, FRIEND, I CAN LOOK PAST

1121. EVEN THE MOUNTAIN PEAKS THAT I'VE BEEN

1122. ON BEFORE, AND I CAN SEE HIGHER BY THE

1123. EYE OF FAITH THAN THOSE MOUNTAINS. I CAN

1124. LOOK UP TO THE SKY, AND I CAN SEE MY

1125. SAVIOR. I CAN SEE HIM STANDING THERE. I

1126. CAN HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM. YOU

1127. SAY FRIEND, WHAT DO YOU YOU SAY

1128. PREACHER, WHAT DO YOU MEAN? I'M SAYING

1129. STEPHEN WAS IN THE LOWEST VALLEY OF HIS

1130. LIFE WHEN THEY WERE STONING HIM. BUT IN

1131. THE MOMENTS OF HIS DEATH, WHAT DOES THE

1132. BIBLE SAY? HE LOOKED STEADFASTLY TOWARD

1133. HEAVEN AND SAID I SEE THE SON OF MAN.

1134. HE'S STANDING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE

1135. FATHER. OH FRIEND, LIFT YOUR EYES UNDER

1136. JESUS. HE IS ABLE TO GET YOU OUT OF THE

  1137. VALLEY. AMEN.

  1138. I'm saying there's victory

  1139. for your valley.

  1140. You say preacher,

1141. what if he don't get me out of the

  1142. valley?

1143. Well, there's another man that was in a

  1144. valley.

1145. The Bible says that John blood John the

  1146. beloved

  1147. was an exile

1148. on the Isle of Patmos, but you know

1149. what? Although he was in the valley, the

1150. Bible says Revelation chapter 1, I was

    Revelation 1 chapter mention

  1151. in the spirit

  1152. on the Lord's day.

1153. And the Bible says John said I was

  1154. called a

1155. Though he was on earth

  1156. in the valley,

  1157. in his heart,

  1158. he was in heaven.

1159. Far beyond the tallest mountain peak, he

1160. was in the presence of God.

1161. You know how you going to have victory

  1162. in the valley?

1163. You going to have to allow your flesh to

  1164. be there,

1165. but your spirit needs to be somewhere

  1166. else.

1167. The Bible says that we're seated in

  1168. heavenly places

1169. in Christ Jesus. Every head bowed and

1170. every eye closed this morning, I want to

  1171. ask you this question.

1172. I can assure you this morning there's

  1173. victory

  1174. for your valley.

1175. Some of you are bearing things that

1176. you shouldn't have to bear.

1177. Some of you are carrying weights that

1178. you shouldn't have to be carrying.

1179. Some of you are in a valley this

  1180. morning.

1181. Let me say this to you this morning.

1182. In spite of what the enemy says,

1183. in spite of the strategy that he has

  1184. against you,

1185. and in spite of the size, I don't know

1186. what you're up against this morning.

1187. I can tell you this that the God on the

  1188. mountain,

  1189. he is still God

  1190. in the valley.

  1191. And the same victory

1192. that you had on the mountain, you can

  1193. have

1194. in the valley. I want to ask you this

1195. this morning. You say, "Preacher,

  1196. I don't know what that victory is you're

  1197. talking about." Well,

1198. so here's the thing about it. Victory

  1199. was won at Calvary.

1200. And that mountain where Jesus was

1201. crucified is the place where you get

  1202. saved.

1203. You see that mountain where he was

1204. crucified was the valley for him.

1205. The Bible says in Hebrews chapter number

  1206. 12 that

1207. he endured the cross, despising the

1208. shame for the joy that was set before

  1209. him.

1210. You see that valley for Jesus

  1211. is our first mountain.

1212. And when you come to the cross, you

1213. kneel at the cross, Christ will meet you

  1214. there.

1215. And from that moment on, you know what?

1216. You are set on a new path.

1217. And through your life, you'll have

  1218. valleys, you'll have mountains.

1219. But I can assure you of this, one day

1220. you'll see your last valley.

1221. And I got to ask you this morning, what

1222. part of that journey are you in?

1223. Have you been saved? Do you know the

  1224. Lord? You say, "Preacher,

1225. would you pray for me? I'm not saved

  1226. this morning."

1227. Anybody here be honest this morning and

1228. say, "Preacher, I'm not saved." You slip

1229. your hand up, I'll pray for you.

1230. Let me ask you this morning.

1231. Say, "Preacher, I'm saved, but

1232. Preacher, I am in the valley.

1233. Would you pray for me?"

1234. Be honest this morning between you and

  1235. God.

1236. God knows your heart this morning. God

  1237. sees those hands.

1238. I want to say this this morning, there's

  1239. victory

  1240. for your valley.

  1241. You see Israel

1242. God blessed them in spite

1243. of the battle they were in.

1244. And I can assure you this morning

  1245. that God

1246. can bless you in spite of the enemy

  1247. around you.

1248. He can help you this morning. You can

  1249. have victory.

1250. You can have victory. Father,

1251. Lord, these altars are open this

1252. morning. Some have already come and

  1253. prayed.

1254. Lord, I just pray you'd have your way

  1255. this morning.

1256. Lord, I my own heart this morning

1257. has struggles, has burdens, Lord, and

1258. I've done my best to lay those at your

  1259. feet.

  1260. Cuz Lord, I know that there's

1261. victory to be had because the victory

  1262. has been won.

1263. Lord, you took the ultimate valley at

  1264. Calvary.

1265. You went to that lowest of low places

1266. and suffered my shame and agony there

1267. so that I could be saved and you could

  1268. lift me up

1269. and set my feet on higher ground.

1270. Lord, I pray this morning, God, that you

1271. would help us all to remember, Lord,

1272. that we have been lifted out.

1273. And God, that we should live differently

  1274. because we have.

1275. Lord, I pray for those that are in a

1276. valley this morning. God, I know that

1277. many are having different struggles,

1278. Lord. Some struggle with family. Some

1279. struggle with health. God, we pray,

1280. Lord, that you would help them to know,

1281. God, to just believe you.

1282. Lord, sometimes the means on this side,

1283. we just get to the end of those.

1284. We don't have an answer. We don't We

  1285. don't see the end.

1286. But God, we know that you know all

  1287. things.

1288. And Lord, we can trust you with our

  1289. valley.

1290. And God, I pray you give us victory

1291. over in spite of the enemy.

1292. I pray God that you would help us to

  1293. resist temptation,

1294. to draw near unto thee,

1295. to be right with you in these days, God,

1296. cuz we know you're soon coming. I pray

1297. for that one who's here lost today. I

  1298. pray you'd save them before it's

  1299. eternally too late.

1300. And Lord, we ask all this in Jesus name.

1301. For his sake, we pray.

  1302. Amen.
