The Revelation of Christ in All - pt.1

Before time had a name there was a garden a place

where heaven and earth Walked as one This is

the echoes of Eden Where we rediscover ancient

roots and awaken to our eternal purpose Well,

hey there hey welcome to this teaching This right

here is going to be the beginning of season three

for my podcast Echoes of Eden, as well as the

first teaching video for my YouTube page that

I'll be starting. This would be a whole series

that I plan on releasing one lesson each week.

And the first thing that we're going to tackle,

because I'm passionate about this topic and I

just think it's important for Us to grab hold

of and to help people maybe understand Where

I'm coming from and the topic is this it's the

revelation of Christ in all Christ in all I get

a lot of pushback from a religious system when

I begin to talk like this But this is something

I cannot be shaken from It's not something that

man can move me off of this is something Holy

Spirit. She has revealed to me has taught me

Through reading the scripture for spending time

along with her and spending time along with the

Trinity. This is stuff that Holy Spirit has taught

and I can't be taken and shaken from this moment

and from this point Excuse me. So the week one

as we talk about this over the next few weeks

I want to do this first because I think it's

important is honoring leaders while going deeper.

So before we dive in I want to open this up with

this thought. It's not something I'll open up

with every teaching but I do believe it's important

to reference at times and for this being my first

video for YouTube and my first for episode one

on the podcast I want to say this I honor the

pastors and leaders and teachers that I've had

over the course of my life, the past 35 years.

Many different ones throughout my lifetime. Many

of them have left a mark on me and my life. I

hold honor in my heart for each of them, honor

and respect them from pouring into my life. Personally,

I genuinely believe that most leaders do the

best they can with what they know and what they've

been taught and what they've experienced even

what they've experienced through life through

ministry or whatever. Most leaders that I know

do have a heart for people and those that they

lead. That's the simple truth. I think that's

the majority of at least the leaders that I know

have been connected with have been under ministry.

I'm grateful for all the ones in my life. That's

just I would not be here. I would not be here

where I am today without them playing a role

in my life at some point. And I could sit here

and name a whole list of people. But if I did

that, I'd miss somebody and I don't want to do

that. But if they're listening to this, I honor

you. I respect you. Again, I think at least again,

I can only speak for my life. I think every leader.

genuinely has a heart for people and did the

best they can with what they know, what they

were taught and what they experienced. So having

said that and open with that, as a dad, I do

not raise my children so they can endlessly repeat

my words. I don't raise them to do the same things

I have done. I don't raise them to reach the

same levels that I've reached in life. No, I

raise them so that they can stand on my shoulders

and see farther than I can imagine. I raise them

to take what I've taught them and to go deeper,

even if that means they need to rethink some

things that I taught them. If one of my kids

came to me and said, dad, what you taught me

was good, but I went deeper and I need to correct

some of it. That does not offend me. If anything,

it shows me that I succeeded as a dad. Because

here's the truth. Here's the truth. Growth does

not dishonor. Maturity. does not rebel and revelation

does not reject, it fulfills. And so what we're

going to be stepping into in this series is a

rejection of ideas and mindsets and not individuals.

It's a rethinking, a realignment, a reshaping.

That's what it is. This is not a rejection of

the sincerity of those who came before and may

even still hold to these ideas. but it is a rejection

of certain conclusions that no longer hold up

in the light of a fuller revelation of Christ

and again, this is what Holy Spirit has taught

me of With all the comments and stuff that I

get on some of my posts people don't understand

they cannot shake me off of this I didn't get

here overnight. I've had to do a lot of wrestling

with things that I was taught. I spent a lot

of time just thinking, driving down the road

and thinking and wrestling with thoughts in my

head when sitting at my desk at work. There's

a lot of wrestling that had to be involved and

I have to allow Holy Spirit to do the work inside

of me and teach me what is true. The Holy Spirit

will guide you into all truth. And again, I'm

not gonna sit here and proclaim that I have everything

100 % correct. I hope this does one thing, and

I hope it's that it encourages somebody to go

start the journey with Holy Spirit. Don't just

take what I say. Go take it, go spend time with

Holy Spirit, and you wrestle with it. Allow Holy

Spirit. I just happen to believe that Holy Spirit

is big enough to teach you and I. It plainly

says in scripture that Holy Spirit is the revealer

of all things So allow Holy Spirit to do what

she does best and to teach And to reveal So it

rejects It rejects some of the conclusions that

I was handed But it does not reject the people

who handed them to me This is something I feel

like we need to understand again in the kingdom

of God that when we disagree with something,

I'm not rejecting the individual, I'm rejecting

the teaching. And then what does that do? It

should challenge the mindset of the one that

the teaching came from. That's just how I think.

Again, my belief most taught faithfully from

the light they had, the revelation they had.

My responsibility now, is to be faithful to the

creator light that I see in Christ, to the deeper

revelation Holy Spirit has brought, not just

to me, but there are many who are hearing this

truth and beginning to proclaim it. Revelation

in scripture has always worked this way. Moses

was not dishonored when Joshua went further.

The law was not insulted when the Spirit came.

And Jesus was not rebelling when he said, you've

heard it said, but I say to you, go and read

those interactions in the gospel and understand

when the Pharisees said this stuff, they were

quoting scripture. And yet Jesus has the audacity

to look at them and said, you heard it said,

but I say, but no, I thought you said God, no,

no, no, no, you heard it then. in the way that

you could hear, but that is not the end goal

of this. You've heard it said, and I say, that's

why I believe scripture says this, let he that

has an ear hear what the spirit is saying. There's

a deeper truth to that if you think about it.

Many of us were taught frameworks that emphasize

separation, emphasize distance and delay, ideas

that made sense with certain lenses. But when

Christ becomes your lens, when he is seen as

the fullness and not an add -on, some of those

conclusions can no longer stand. So let me be

clear here. I'm not here to tear down the past.

I'm here to build beyond it. My responsibility

is not to protect old paradigms. My responsibility

is to be faithful to the greater light that I

now see in Christ. And if Christ truly is in

all things, holding all things together, then

we owe it to Him to explore that revelation fully.

That's what this series is about. So this entire

series revolves around one central question.

Is Christ in all or only in some? Now you think

about this and you answer it however you want.

The question is not, is Christ available to all?

It's not, can Christ come into all? It's not,

will Christ one day be in all? But is Christ

already in all right here, right now? And this

question is important because how we see that

question determines a few things. Number one,

how we see God. Number two, how we see humanity.

Number three, how we see salvation. Number four,

how we treat people. And number five, how we

interpret scripture. This really has to do with

identity. So think about one of the most common

phrases in the Christian language you hear in

church is, have you made Jesus Lord of your life?

If you've been in church any length of time,

you have probably heard this statement. Have

you made Jesus Lord of your life? Let me take

a moment and ask a different question and my

hope is that I can again that I can simply make

you start to rethink and have a conversation

with Holy Spirit yourself. Again, I may say this

a few times, Holy Spirit will be the greatest

teacher you've ever had. So if Jesus only becomes

Lord when you and I allow him to be, then who

was Lord before? I decided. If Jesus only becomes

Lord when you and I allow him to be, then who

was Lord before you and I decided? And then,

who is really Lord, Christ or my belief? If me

believing that he is Lord made him Lord, then

it was my belief that was Lord and not Christ.

No, the truth is Christ is Lord of all regardless

of what you and I believe. Belief does not make

something true. Scripture does not present Jesus

as a candidate running for office that we vote

on. He is not on the campaign trail that campaigning

to be Lord or campaigning for authority. No,

Jesus does not become Lord by our agreement or

by us allowing him to be Lord. He is Lord, whether

we believe it to be true or not. That's just

truth. Again, truth does not need our agreement

to be truth. Truth is truth, and we simply believe

or do not believe. Our confession does not install

Him as Lord. We confess because we awaken to

what already is true and the revelation that

He is Lord. Lordship is not permission. It is

simply reality. Belief does not create truth.

Truth creates belief. So when we say, I've allowed

him to be Lord, when we're really saying, I've

stopped resisting what has always been true.

Okay? So let's talk about... Revelation versus

rebellion for a little bit but there is a fear

that often rises when teaching like this begins

and I've seen it heard it dealt with it because

number one it sounds dangerous when you start

talking like this that Christ is already in all

people think that it undermines holiness they

think that it removes responsibility And what

I think is I believe it actually enforces response

ability. If you look at the word responsibility,

it is actually response ability. Your ability

to respond to the truth of the gospel. You're

allowing people to live however they want, as

if they need some kind of permission to do this.

When I started talking like this... I have been

told I'm a false prophet. I've been told that

I'm deceived. I've been told that I'm leading

people to hell Ultimately, I guess I'm going

to hell. I'm leading them down the wrong path

I'm preaching the wrong gospel and the list goes

on and on and on and listen most of it from family

Except for the family in my own home my wife

and my children who have seen the change That

this gospel has actually had the power to produce

in me So here's the thing though. Revelation

does not remove responsibility. It redefines

it. I do not follow the guidance of the Holy

Spirit in order to be holy. No, I am holy and

therefore follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

It's the same is true for you my friend. You

are holy. You cannot be any more holy. Any more

righteous than you are right now. What begins

to happen is when you understand Just how holy

you are you begin to follow the lordship of the

holy spirit And you can begin to talk. I believe

it's in Romans 8 that talks about um You're moved

by the impulses of the holy spirit It may be

helpful to define what the word holy means But

that I trust you to do your own studying for

now. I may do a teaching on that later Revelation

does not lower the standard, it raises the vision.

The New Testament does not call us to fight for

our identity, it calls us to live from our identity.

In other words, stop trying to live to get to

a position that you actually already are. Let

that settle there. This means that some of the

ideas, the concepts that we were taught earlier

may not carry the full weight of a mature revelation.

And let me say this, someone else may take what

I'm teaching and expound on it and have to rethink

it and take it even deeper than the revelation

I have. And there are those who can teach on

this with much more insight and much more depth

even than I can teach. This is Sonship. The revelation

of your sonship causes you to live from that

reality and live from holiness and not towards

it. You're living from this place, not trying

to get to somewhere that again, you already are.

It's because I'm a son. It's because that you

are a son or a daughter that you walk with a

higher standard and not looking to lower the

standard. Think about what I said. if someone

takes a message like this and says then I can

go do whatever I want to do I have to go back

and say this let he that has an ear hear what

the spirit is actually saying if you heard it

that that way and that you can go do this that

in the other then you've missed it already and

I'm not even really talking to you but I trust

Holy Spirit to interfere in your life to bring

you back to the revelation that this is who you

are and when you grab hold of this and understand

who you are in Christ you will begin to live

from that not towards it and you won't be looking

to lower the standard but to raise the standard

oh lord if someone wants to lower the standard

Look for ways to stay in dysfunction look for

ways to justify their sin They likely had not

been hit with the necessary degree of the revelation

of the love of the father Which causes you to

realize who you are? The truth is the more you

see him The more you find yourself. That is the

truth So let's only a little bit of a foundation

being found in christ romans, excuse me, not

romans revelation 138 says this the lamb slain

From the foundations of the world Ephesians 1

4 says this he chose us in him before the foundation

of the world So here it is before Adam fell before

humanity sinned before the story ever reached

the garden Humanity that means you and I were

already discovered according to Ephesians 1 4

we were already found in Christ before you were

long before you are lost in Adam you were found

in Christ. So think about this. This actually

speaks volume if you're listening. This means

Adam's fall did not start the story. It is not

your beginning. Adam is not your origin point.

Adam is not your beginning of your story. The

cross was not the Father's reaction to an unforeseen

disaster. The fall did not catch God off guard.

Adam did not fall and leave God biting his nails,

pacing back and forth, trying to figure out what

to do. No, there was a plan -setting motion long

before Adam fell. And again, you were found in

Christ long before Adam fell. Jesus being sent

was not heaven's emergency backup, nor was he

Plan B. No, no, no. The cross reveals what was

always true in the Trinity in the Father, Son,

and Spirit. Consider this. God was in Christ

reconciling the world to himself. I spent years

teaching teenagers that on the cross when Jesus

said, my God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

That it was in that moment that the father turned

his back on his son because of after all, God

cannot look upon sin. If that's true, we're all

screwed. Number two, the other part of that is

simply this. He was quoting a song. They would

have understood that in that time. Okay. There

is never separation in the Father. God was inside

of Christ reconciling the world back to himself.

It was not just Jesus. Listen to me, my friend.

It was not just Jesus on the cross. No, it was

the entire Trinity as one, submitting to humanity

as we crucified the Christ. When Jesus Christ,

because you have to understand them before I

do that point, You have to understand this. Jesus

makes the statement, my God, my God, why have

you forsaken me? The next phrase out of his mouth

is, into your hands I commit my spirit. Think

about this. So when Jesus Christ, the telestite,

is finished, he's not announcing a possibility.

He is declaring completion. Completion of what,

my friend? Go study some of this yourself. It

is not it will be finished when people believe

it's not it is finished for some and for a select

few and for the elite and for those who say the

right words No, it is finished all of it every

single part so Whoo, I feel my help with this

one The thing about this if Adam affected all

how much more so did Christ Think about that

So now we've established all this I want to go

another step and we're gonna read Romans chapter

Romans 5 · chapter mention

5 And we're gonna begin in verse 12. I'm gonna

go through 21 you can make it I promise And it

simply says this out of the passion translation

Says when Adam sinned the entire world was affected

sin entered human experience and death was the

result and so death followed hit this sin and

casting its shadow over all humanity because

all have sinned. Sin was in the world before

Moses gave the written law, but it was not charged

against them where no law existed. Yet death

reigned as king from Adam to Moses, even though

they hadn't broken the command the way Adam had.

The first man Adam was a picture of the Messiah

who was to come. Now, well, let me not get there

yet. So now there is no comparison. between Adam's

transgression and the gracious gift that we experience.

For the magnitude of the gift far outweighs the

crime. It's true that many died because of one

man's transgression, but how much greater will

God's grace and his gracious gift of acceptable

overflow because of what one man, Jesus, the

Messiah, did for us? This is what's fascinating

to me before I continue on. We believe that Adam,

who simply ate a piece of fruit, affected all

of humanity more so than what Christ, with all

that he endured, affected humanity. Adam ate

a piece of fruit, Christ went through everything

that he did, and for some reason we get this

idea that this one had much more of an impact

on humanity, not just in humanity, all of humanity.

But he had a greater impact than what Christ

did I've said this for a long time that I believe

the church has more faith in what Adam did than

what Christ undid Now you you wrestle with some

of this Continuing on verse 16 says in this free

-flowing gift imparts to us much more than what

was given to us through the one who sin For because

of one transgression. We are all facing a death

sentence with a verdict of guilty But this gracious

gift leaves us free from our many failures and

brings us into the perfect righteousness of God,

acquitted with the words, not guilty. Death once

held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one

man, death reigned us king over humanity. But

now, how much more are we held in the grip of

grace and continue reigning as kings in life?

enjoying our regal freedom to the gift of perfect

righteousness in the one and only Jesus the Messiah.

In other words, just as condemnation came upon

all people through one transgression, so through

one righteous act of Jesus' sacrifice, the perfect

righteousness that makes us right with God and

leads us to a victorious life is now available

to all. One man's disobedience opened the door

for all humanity to become sinners. So also one

man's obedience opened the door for many to be

made perfectly right with God and acceptable

to him So then the law was introduced into God's

plan to bring the reality of human sinfulness

out of hiding and yet wherever sin Increased

there was more than enough of God's grace to

triumph all the more and Just the same sin ran

through death So also this sin conquering grace

will reign as king through righteousness imparting

eternal life through Jesus our Lord and Messiah.

So if one man's disobedience affected all then

how much more does one man's obedience embrace

all? Consider this question seriously and wrestle

with it. So if one man's disobedience affected

all then how much more does one man's obedience

embrace all? This is what's fascinating. In the

church, we seem to believe that you got absolutely

no say. There was no magical words to say or

anything that you were just automatically included

in Adam's fall. But somehow, you have to jump

through hoops To make and to get back to Jesus

to make what he did true and you were not included

in that Unless you jump through the hoops to

get back And you you wrestle with some of this

If the fall Truly reached everyone which again,

I believe it did then resurrection must be at

least Just as powerful yet. I would say it is

immeasurably greater If that is not true then

Adam is greater than Christ and I'm sorry that

simply can't be true. I personally refuse to

preach a gospel where the first Adam had more

of a reach and had more success and more impact

than the last Adam Christ. I refuse to preach

a gospel like that. The gospel is not that sin

was stronger than grace. It's not that darkness

is greater than light. No, the gospel is that

grace swallowed sin whole. In fact, it bankrupted

sin. This is not about, hear me clearly, minimizing

sin. It's about magnifying Christ and what Christ

actually accomplished through his death, burial,

resurrection. Catch this, not just for us, but

as us. And prepositions, my friend, are important.

So before I move further, I want to address something

that came up from a friend that I hold respect

for. And this can be a common objection to the

Christ in all. And the argument was this, is

Christ can't be in all because scripture said

Satan can't cast out Satan. And one of the first

notable points is that Jesus never said Satan

was casting out Satan. That accusation came from

the religious leaders. Jesus does not agree with

their premises there. He actually begins to dismantle

it. He reframes the conversation by talking about

a strong man. A strong man's house can only be

plundered by someone stronger. Jesus in this

story is not describing an equal power struggle.

He's announcing a superior arrival. It's the

religious leaders saying this man cast out demons

by Beaselbub, the ruler of demons. So this issue

with the story simply is Jesus operating by Satan's

power or is Jesus operating against it? Jesus

is not teaching that who Christ indwells, how

union works, ontology of evil, nor identity.

He's answering one narrow question. By whose

authority am I casting out demons? In this conversation,

Jesus does not say that Satan has equal authority

everywhere, that he truly indwells people the

way that Christ does, nor that he has the rightful

ownership of humanity. Satan is no equal, hear

me clearly, Satan is no equal to Christ, not

even remotely close. He is dismantling their

argument, not constructing something. Luke 11

22 but when one stronger that he comes upon him

and overcomes him He takes away his armor. So

the text gives us two figure the strong man and

the stronger one Listen to me very clearly darkness

is not a competing kingdom Darkness scientifically

is not even real. It is simply an absence of

light Darkness has zero creative power It can

only distort what already exists. So when Christ

reveals himself darkness does not fight it collapses

There is no struggle between darkness and light

when light shows up darkness simply vanished

and let me say this this is something I learned

from Doug Alexander a very powerful thought There

is no kingdom of darkness Because in order to

have a kingdom one must have a king and the kingdom

of darkness darkness has no king. The enemy is

actually called the prince of the power of the

air. He is not a king, which means there is zero

kingdom of darkness. Think about that. So I want

you to think about this. Every single human being

has the breath of Yahweh coursing through them

right now. If Christ were not in all, humanity

would absolutely cease to exist. Scripture tells

us that Christ holds all things together. So

if Christ were not in a person, don't check your

brain at the door, listen to what I'm saying,

judge it for yourself, wrestle with it if needed.

If Christ were not in a person, that person would

be self -sustaining, self -originating, self

existing basically what you're saying if you

believe that Christ is not inside an individual

that that person is indeed by definition a God

no there is only one source of life the issue

is not Christ presence the issue is awareness

blindness does not equal absence so as we close

this one out Would you understand a few things

that those in darkness do not need our arguments

as sons and daughters They need our light We

do not bring people No, we phrase that we do

not bring Christ to people We reveal Christ in

people Sons and daughters, they don't conquer

darkness. We simply learn to turn the light on

If you go go into your home Cut the lights off

when it's dark and looks pitch black and all

I want you to do is go and flip on the switch

and tell me How much of a wrestling match did

darkness put up against the light when you flipped

it on? The answer to that is very simple None

as soon as you flip that light on as long as

there's power running to it darkness flees This

series is not gonna be about winning debates

it's about unveiling truth as we continue we're

going to let scripture speak for itself without

fear without filters and another thing i'm passionate

about is without separation there is no separation

in christ a couple things i want to have you

declare just help you know you can declare it

with me let me declare it over you whatever you

want to do it's this christ is not distant Christ

is not absent. Christ is not waiting. Christ

is present. Christ is present with you right

where you are. Christ is holding all things together.

Christ is revealing himself. And catch this starting

with you. Allow the Christ within you to come

alive. Just let that settle. I encourage you,

go back, listen to this, wrestle with it. Again,

I'm not here telling you I'm 100 % right. To

be completely honest with you in this moment,

I really don't even care to have the conversation

of who's right, who's wrong. I think the journey

is the most important thing. And if something

I said sparked something in you and causes you

to begin your walk with the Holy Spirit or to

go deeper in your conversation with the Holy

Spirit, then I feel like I've won. That just

is what it is. Not about right and wrong. Holy

Spirit, I just personally believe and trust Holy

Spirit. She will reveal what needs to be revealed
