The Revelation of Christ in All - pt. 4

Before time had a name there was a garden a place

where heaven and earth Walked as one This is

the echoes of Eden Where we rediscover ancient

roots and awaken to our eternal purpose Well,

hey guys. Hey, welcome back. We're on week four

of the revelation of Christ and all I am going

to jump right in I'm excited to do week four

and to continue down this journey down this path

with you guys I want to read something. I know

at this point there can be some tension that

that is rising not because scripture is unclear

to me, but because Old frameworks are being challenged

So I understand that but I want to jump in I

want to read something Actually, that's what

I'm trying to find. There it is. I want to read

something This is out of the book called. I believe

it's a mill of mystery mill of wonder right there

in front of me And it's by a guy named Malcolm

Smith. He's an excellent author this is I think

the second or third book I've read of his and

just a lot of A lot of revelatory stuff in it.

I've got a lot of highlights. I will be revisiting

this book again. This book is talking about the

Eucharist. It's talking about communion and really

giving a lot more depth to partaking in that

communion. I don't read a part because I think

it speaks to this revelation of Christ and all

it says this. He writes, we grow an understanding

of our having been, now understand that's past

tense, having been washed, cleansed within, and

our identity as a son or daughter of God, who

can look him in the face and boldly call him

Abba, the name of intimacy reserved for members

of the family. Now I want to stop right there

before we go any further. I want you to think

about this. grow an understanding of having been

washed, cleansed within, and our identity as

a son or daughter. Nothing you do makes that

true. Let me put it like this. It's not you saying

a magical prayer that makes this true. It's not

you performing some kind of ritual to get in

or to become cleansed within. This is the truth

of your being you are right now regardless of

what you did yesterday What you did five minutes

before watching this video what you did last

week what you're going to do in the next After

you get done watching this video you are your

identity Right now is that you are washed by

the blood you are cleansed within and your identity

is a son or daughter This is where I get kind

of frustrated and I want to help rescue some

of this language when people just talk about

what we give We have to repent. We have to repent.

We have to repent and I'm not negating that but

I don't think we understand what the word repent

means the first thing we have to understand is

that repent should never been translated the

word repent it's a horrible translation the word

is metanoia and it means if i could break it

down kind of easily it means to come back to

your senses You know, you think about scripture,

it says it's the kindness of God that leads men

to repentance. When we understand how good Papa

is, it causes us to come back into our original

design, which is only discovered and found inside

of Christ, the person of Christ, the finished

work of Christ. It's all because of Christ. But

that is the truth of your being. What I'm trying

to do here is to partner with Holy Spirit to

help unveil to you who the truth of your being

actually is. And the truth is, you are right

now a son or a daughter inside of Christ. Continuing

on, it says, with this assurance, we know that

we belong in the Trinity family in Christ. We

are as accepted as He is. Now, think about this.

And I'm not saying, I'll be the first to admit,

I don't know that I believe this a hundred percent

right now. I still have some leaven of the religious

life and the religious teachings left in me that

I have to allow the Holy Spirit to continually

uproot and put truth back in, if that makes sense.

So I'm not saying that I believe all this to

be true yet. I just know it's true. And I can't

make that make sense. Hopefully you hear my heart.

I don't know that I believe it all to be true

yet, but I do know it's true. So it's the fact

that We are as accepted as He is. I know that's

a truth, but I'm having to allow Holy Spirit

to make that true in my life. Because there's

still parts of me when I face certain situations

and certain circumstances where this becomes

a doubt in my life and I begin to ask, am I as

accepted as the Christ? But the truth is, we

are as accepted as He is. He is delighted in

and welcomed by the Father. We drink and we know

that we have been rescued from the kingdom of

darkness. Again, past tense, Jesus has finished

this work when he was on the cross and said,

it is finished. I believe he meant that. I believe

he accomplished what he came here to do. So we

drink and know that we have been rescued from

the kingdom of darkness you have been rescued

from the kingdom of darkness I will disagree

with Malcolm and not call it a kingdom of darkness

because a kingdom has to have a king and Darkness

has no king because Satan is no king. No Satan

is the prince of the power of the air That's

the only thing he has control over unless you

and I give Relinquish our authority back to the

to the enemy, but he has no kingdom darkness

is not a kingdom but we have been rescued from

darkness. In Christ, Satan is under our feet,

for we overcome by the blood of the lamb and

in the word of our testimony at this meal. By

the engulfing pain and wounds of the lash when

his blood was shed, we were and are healed. We

eat and drink the elixir of resurrection life.

This is the mood of celebration as we eat and

drink as this bread and wine enters our body.

So Christ has and does live within us. And again,

this is the revelatory part. This is already

truth. I am simply again trying to partner with

Holy Spirit to unveil this revelation to you

to help you understand you're not fighting to

get into this place. I'm helping you trying to

encourage you to begin to live from where you're

fighting to get to. you're already there stop

trying to get to there and live from the place

that you are inside of christ christ work was

actually complete he accomplished what he came

here to do okay i hope i hope that helps and

i know at this point some of the push push back

can become stuff like okay if christ is in all

then what about satan what about darkness what

about you know and I've mentioned this earlier,

but I'm going to repeat it and talk about it

some more today. What about Jesus saying Satan

can cast out, excuse me, Satan can't cast out

Satan? And those are fair questions. They're

honest questions. And I don't want to avoid those

questions. So we're going to go straight forth

them in the end of the day, kind of slowly, clearly,

honestly, as much as possible. I'm trying to

slow down, not get too excited right off the

bat because truth doesn't need protection. Truth

reveals itself. Truth doesn't have to argue.

It's one of my things on some of my posts and

when I first started posting some of this stuff

I felt like I had to defend it every time I had

a post or a comment on something. And I've just

gotten to the point that I don't feel like I

need to do that anymore. I don't feel like I

need to go and defend this gospel and this truth.

I think it speaks for itself. It certainly has

in my life. And you know, if people really want

to dive deep into this, then Holy Spirit, I trust

Holy Spirit is big enough to reveal the truth

to them as well. So let's begin with something

basic, but crucial. Jesus never said Satan was

casting out Satan. And I want to address this.

This is one of the conversations Holy Spirit

and I had. When she asked me, she said, do you

understand why Satan can be cast out of somebody?

And I said, no, of course I did not. I wanted

to hear what was being said because I mean, what's

the answer to the question? And this is the response

I got because Satan does not belong. Satan owns

nobody. Satan has no creation after him So Satan

can be removed because Satan does not belong

Let's let's think about it this way think about

your own home If someone was to come inside of

your home and try to forcefully remove you They

cannot do that because they do not own that home

You have the right at that moment to call law

enforcement or whatever to get involved and have

them removed from your property because you are

the one who owns that property there and they

are they are intruding into your territory. The

same is true for the humanity. Satan does not

own any person. Hear that plainly. Satan can

be removed because he does not belong. You can

have demons cast out of people because demons

do not belong inside of anyone. That's why they

can be taken out. Christ, however, lives within

all. Christ, I think I've mentioned this before,

but if Christ is not within an individual, you

are stating that that person is a God in themselves

because they are self -sustaining outside of

Christ. And that's simply not true. They have

to have Christ within them to be able to live

and move and breathe, just as Paul said in Colossians.

There's a Colossians or Acts, I don't remember

now. I'd have to go back and find it, but I believe

it's one of those two. But Paul tells this group

of people that it's in Christ, this God that

you don't even know that you're worshiping. This

is the God that you live and move and have your

being in. Anyhow, moving on. So that statement

that jesus the satan casting out satan did not

come from jesus No, it came from the religious

leaders. They accused jesus of casting out demons

by the power of beazel beazel bub Jesus does

not agree with their premise. I'm going to read

it to you. It's found i'm gonna read the um,

I think you can find it in the other two gospels

too In mark and luke but i'm gonna read on matthew

12 where it talks about this. Um, it says A man

was brought before Jesus who had a demon spirit

that made him both blind and mute. Jesus healed

him instantly and he could see and talk again.

Verse 23, the crowds went wild with amazement

as they witnessed this miracle and they kept

saying to one another could this man be the Messiah.

Verse 24, but when the Pharisees overheard what

the people were saying they said he cast out

demons by the power of Satan the prince of demons.

Jesus supernaturally perceived their thoughts

and motives so he told them this parable. He

said, any kingdom that fights against itself

is reduced to ruins, and any family or community

splintered by strife will fall apart. So if Satan

casts out Satan, he is making war on himself.

How then could his kingdom stand? Verse 27, so

if Satan empowers me to cast out demons, who

empowers your exorcist to cast them out? Go ask

them and let them be your judges But if I drive

out demons by the power of the Spirit of God

then the end of Satan's kingdom has come Now

that's another message for another day, but the

end of Satan's kingdom has come Who would dare

into their house of a mighty man and steal his

property? First he must be overpowered and tied

up by one who is stronger than he then his entire

house Can be plundered let me I'm gonna stop

right there So and you can see in this passage

that Jesus does not even agree with their premise

No, he begins to dismantle it because they're

saying this man Jesus is casting out demons by

the power of Satan Well, if that's the case a

house divided against itself Basically, it cannot

stand and if I'm doing this then you go talk

to your own exorcist and ask them What do they

get their power from? He's dismantling their

entire premise. And this matters because if we

build theology on accusations that Jesus is responding

to rather than truths he is teaching, we will

misread the passage. So Jesus is not affirming

their worldview right now. He's exposing its

flaws. He responds, if Satan cast out Satan,

he is divided against himself. How can this kingdom

stand? This is not Jesus establishing Satan as

a rival king equal to God. This is Jesus He's

using their logic to show its absurd absurdity

He's saying in effect your accusation doesn't

even make sense on its own terms. I can't be

Casting out a devil with the power of Satan that

doesn't make sense because a house divided can't

stand that kingdom will certainly fall But if

I drive out demons by the power of the Spirit

of God then the end of Satan's kingdom has come

So then Jesus pivots not to exalt Satan but to

announce something Far more important and he

talks about the strong man. So let's talk about

the strong man Because he immediately follows

this with no one can enter a strong man's house

and plunder his goods unless he first binds the

strong man This is the center part of the passage.

This is how he takes their argument, dismantles

it, and now he's revealing truth. The focus is

not on Satan's power at this point. No, the focus

is someone stronger has entered the house. Jesus

here is not explaining demonology. He's announcing

arrival. What's the arrival? There's a new kingdom.

There's a new sheriff in town. There's a new

king on the scene. The implication is clear in

this moment. stronger one has come who is the

stronger one I'll leave you to figure that out

the house is being plundered now here's the question

who is now the house my friend that's you and

I we are the temple of the Lord authority is

now being overturned This is not help. Let me

help you understand this. This is not a battle

of equals. This is not Satan and Jesus and they're

fighting, you know like this there is no equality

here whatsoever This is not a fair fight. It's

a fixed fight. Satan has lost the moment that

Jesus shows up on the scene It's simple as simple

as simple as this darkness loses the moment light

shows up There's two things that I have learned

over the past couple years darkness has no ontological

existence It's darkness is simply not real. You

cannot study darkness to define darkness. It

is simply the absence of light Cold is the same

exact way now. We certainly feel the effects

of darkness. We can see the effects of darkness

We can feel the effects of being cold. It's wintertime

here where I'm at we just experienced some a

couple weeks of really cold weather you can certainly

feel the effects of cold but cold is simply the

absence of heat the moment that heat shows up

on the scene cold ceases to exist if i was to

cut these lights off around me it would be completely

dark but the moment that i flip a switch and

turn light back on darkness ceases to exist why

because something greater has showed up on the

scene and here's the thing my friend go into

your own home cut a light off and when you go

back into that room to cut the light back on

you tell me how much wrestling there was how

much of a battle there was between the light

and darkness no as soon as you turn light on

guess what happens darkness leaves darkness ceases

to exist so it's not a battle of equals no this

is invasion and displacement jesus has showed

up on the scene and you come to remove this puny

Make shift King going on called Lucifer Satan.

He's he's dismantling his whole Empire that he's

trying to build. Okay, so it's invasion. He showed

up on the scene now. It's displacement now. You

have nowhere to go Hope this is helping somebody

One of the biggest theological errors We inherited

is treating darkness like a competing kingdom.

This is the kind of the world that I grew up

and I want to get a sip of water We inherited

is This is the kind of the world that I grew

up in is that darkness is a competing force with

the kingdom of light So you have the kingdom

of darkness over here the kingdom of light over

here and we're in a war and we're in a battle

But here's here's the thing Jesus actually defeated

darkness. The scripture says that we are more

than conquerors in Christ. And the best way that

I could explain that, as far as more than a conqueror

goes, is if there's an, let's say there's an

award of $10 ,000 for a boxing match. And I go

participate, in this boxing match and um i'm

just so good at this i take one uh well let's

let's make it fair i i take a couple hits but

i have the final blow and knock my opponent out

and i win the ten thousand dollars i am a conqueror

over this battle my wife i am married um have

three children my wife takes that ten thousand

dollars and she goes and spends it she is more

than a conqueror because she did absolutely nothing

but be joined to me as her husband to get the

prize she experienced victory why because she's

joined to me and now gets to participate in what's

mine is also hers Think about this. So this is

this is that kind of situation of being more

than a conqueror If the if darkness has been

defeated if if Satan has been defeated if Christ

was actually effective Then this is not competing

forces You are fighting and wrestling with the

defeated foe Why am I listen? I've grown up in

all this stuff, but I've shifted some of my beliefs

and allowed Holy Spirit to reveal truth to me.

And this is kind of where I am now. I will do

spiritual warfare when you show me that Jesus

did spiritual warfare. Listen, when Jesus encountered

demons, number one, he did not go out looking

for them. They found him. But when he encountered

them, there was no fighting. It was as simple

as get out, go, leave. greater authority has

showed up on the scene you have no rights here

so scripture does not present darkness as an

equal opposite opposite to light again let me

go back and say this darkness is not even real

darkness is simply the absence of light darkness

has zero no creative power darkness cannot produce

anything darkness can only distort it can obscure

or it can deceive that is the only thing darkness

can do light does not fight darkness hear me

clearly light does not fight darkness no light

reveals when light go back to my thing I did

a minute ago when light enters your room darkness

does not resist it simply disappears It's that

simple we have complicated this for so long and

darkness has been defeated So here's the critical

connection if Christ were not in all then darkness

would be sustaining existence and darkness cannot

sustain life Scripture tells us that Christ holds

all things together Again, go back to what Paul

said in him. We live and move and have our being

If Christ were absent from a person, that person

would have to be self -originating. They would

have to be self -sustaining. They would be independent

of God. And my friend, there is nobody as such.

Let me, I heard this on a podcast last week sometime,

and it spoke volumes to me when I heard the lady

say it, but she said, and I would have to agree,

no one is born Evil. I don't care what anyone

else says. No person is born evil. Well, what

about this person? What about that? Listen They

were not born that way Something has happened

over the course of life and I was having conversation

with some friends recently and my frustration

with the church world is that we seem to only

focus on the fruit of things and never deal with

root issues We want to try to fix behavior, and

this is the whole reason that I'm trying to teach

the way that I do. We try to fix behavior by

focusing on behavior, but the only way to fix

behavior is dealing with the root, which is the

identity of the individual. Why? Because behavior

follows identity. It's that simple behavior follows

identity if I can convince you that you are actually

a son or daughter of Christ Guess what? You will

begin to live from that place and your life will

follow that identity and behavior will fix itself

My god, if we would understand this It would

make a huge difference. I've seen it in my life.

I've seen the life of teenagers now This last

group that I had and the family that we're leading

right now and just seeing where God takes this

I've seen God just do so much more in such a

small amount of time than how I used to teach

And that's something, you know I'll have to I've

had to repent for the way I used to teach and

I pray and I trust Holy Spirit to meet those

young people those teenagers that I had influence

on before to fix what I messed up Because I used

to teach Let me just let me just say it I used

to teach the BS that when Jesus was on the cross

and said my god my god Why have you forsaken

me? I used to teach this as then that moment

the father turned his back on his son and My

friend that is complete and utter bullshit Hear

me very plainly with this that is complete and

utter BS Because I would not do that to my child

And I cannot believe in a God who would do that

because if that if God does that then I am a

better father Than he is and that my friend is

simply not true Not at all no How I can best

explain it when Jesus was ex was expressing that

on the cross number one he was come he was He

was quoting a psalm that those people around

that cross would have understood What the ending

of that Psalm is, you can go look that up and

study that for yourself. No, he sunk down deep,

as deep as he could go into our delusion, into

Adam's delusion, to mankind's delusion, into

the abyss and the darkness and rescued the mindset

that we thought we were separated. And you know

what he says after the whole, my God, my God,

why have you forsaken me? It ends with, into

your hands I commit my spirit. Why because he

rescued the mindset of You're not separated you

were alienated in your own minds. That's the

truth It's BS I talked to you I taught teenagers

this kind of stuff. I taught teenagers that this

is who the father was, that he was a father who

abandoned because he could not look on sin in

this moment. My friend, if he can't look on sin,

then we're all screwed from the beginning. When

Adam sinned, guess who the first person who showed

up still for the walk? The father. God still

showed up in the garden after Adam fell. Tell

me he can't look on sin that's taken out of Habakkuk

and it's misquoted Can't look on sin favorably

then why do you Why do you look on sin? Help

me Holy Ghost If Christ were absent from a person

trying to find myself from the notes here which

would if Christ were absent from a person it

would make them by definition divine But there

is only one source of life this the presence

of darkness does not mean the absence of Christ

It means the catch this it means the absence

of awareness Just because darkness exists in

a person life does not mean that Christ is not

within them No, it means that there is an absence

of awareness That's why I believe it takes us

as sons and daughters to illuminate the world

around us to let the light of the world light

through us we are now the light of the world

and to shine that light and to all men and to

do what to expose the darkness to unveil the

truth of the who that these people are that we

come in contact with day after day after day

our Waitresses and waiters the gas the clerk

at the gas station the check the cashier at Walmart

the people in the Walmart aisles Listen that

those people that we encounter day after day

are looking for our light to light up their life

and help them understand listen you carry a kingdom

that you get to invite others into that kingdom

you get to expose to them that they're already

included into the party now just come and party

with us this is life he said i've come to give

you life and life more abundantly it's the zoe

the god kind of life this is where we must be

precise Darkness in scripture is consistently

associated with blindness, with deception, with

ignorance, and with delusion. It's never associated

with God abandoning something. Paul does not

say people are separated from Christ. He says

they are alienated in their minds. So the separation

is not ontological. No, it is perceptual. Christ

is not missing. Truth is simply being obscured.

And it's the goodness of God that causes men

to come to repentance, to come to metanoia. And

how do they see the goodness of God? Through

you and I. When we can love like Christ loves.

When we can serve as Christ serves. When we can

speak to others as Christ would speak to them.

which is never to point fingers and to condemn

and to judge. They don't need that. I've lived

that life. They don't need that. That does zero.

That has no impact whatsoever except for the

negative part. You're just doing nothing but

beating them down even more. No, they need the

truth of, hey, you don't understand who your

father actually is. You don't understand who

you are. I know this is going to sound wild and

crazy, maybe far -fetched for some of you, but

it's us being able to explain or express to the

world, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father.

My God, do we get this? So this is usually where

fear speaks up. If darkness isn't a real kingdom,

are we minimizing evil? And the truth is, no.

We're just properly locating it. Evil is real

in its effects, but it, but evil is not ultimate

in its authority. Can lies enslave? Absolutely.

But lies cannot create. Can darkness deceive?

Yes. Clearly we can look around and see darkness

deceives, but darkness cannot sustain existence.

The gospel does not deny the damage of lies.

No, it denies their right to rule And here's

the thing trying to wrap this thing up Let's

talk about the cross Because the cross did not

negotiate with darkness. No the cross disarmed

darkness Jesus did not coexist with powers and

principalities. He exposed them. I want to read

a scripture just because it keeps coming into

my mind and I feel like I should read it and

I probably read it in other ones. Let me look

it up real quick. I want to find that. I believe

it's Colossians. Just because I think this is,

I think it goes right along with this. I knew

it was in Colossian, I just can't remember exactly

where. Here it is. Let me go back to my notes

to make sure I'm not crazy. So again the cross

Does not negotiate darkness know it disarms and

I want to read Colossians 2 verses 14 through

Colossians 2:14–15

15 and The passion translation says this he canceled

out every legal violation that we had on our

record and the old arrest warrant that stood

to indict us He canceled it out It's not there

Listen to this. It's not there Quit listening

to the voice of the accuser There's nothing that

stands against you because of what Christ has

done. He completed it for you He erased it all

our sins our stained soul He deleted it all and

they cannot they cannot be retrieved listen and

this happened before you took your first breath

before you were ever considered, before your

grandparents were considered, before your great,

great, great grandparents were considered. This

was the truth, as He erased your sins, He erased

your stained soul, He deleted everything, and

it cannot be retrieved. Every single thing we

want, we, humanity, once was in Adam has been

placed. onto His cross and nailed permanently

there as a public display of cancellation. Then

Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers

and principalities of darkness. Stripping away

from them every weapon and all of their spiritual

authority and power to accuse us Listen my friend

if the enemy has any power to accuse you it's

because you're giving him power to accuse you

Silence his voice turn off the noise Stop listening

to his him running his mouth And by the power

of the cross Jesus led them around as prisoners

in a possession of triumph. He was not their

prisoners. No, excuse me. He was not their prisoner.

They were his. Do we understand what happened

on the cross? What Christ actually completed

and actually finished? He did not coexist with

powers and principalities. No, he exposed them.

He stripped accusation of authority. He removed

the lie that separation is real. Darkness lost

its power the moment that its illusion was revealed.

That's why Paul tells us, and I've said this

many times already, that you were simply alienated

in your minds. separation was a lie so what this

means for us we're not called you're not called

to hunt darkness you're not called to fear it

no we're not called to obsess over it we are

called to walk as light and you know what happens

when you learn to just walk as light wherever

you go Darkness cannot exist. Again, because

why? When light shows up, there is no argument

any longer. When light shows up on the scene,

darkness has to go. Do you understand? And I

know this sounds prideful, but it's really not.

Do you understand how big of a deal that you

are? As a son or daughter of Christ, do you understand

how big of a deal that you are? The light the

life that has been given to you Having the same

spirit that raised Christ from the dead now living

inside of you the Christ this whole revelation

of Christ in all Do you understand how big of

a deal it is to have Christ living on the inside

of you to be partakers of the divine nature?

But you've been given the God kind of life Light

does not announce itself There's no battle. There's

no stressing. There's no there's no fighting

and arguing No, it simply shines and as long

as light shines darkness does not exist When

sons and daughters That's you and I when we learn

to live from that place of union darkness has

absolutely nowhere to stand Let's uh think I'll

close there Think we'll close right there when

darkness excuse me when sons and daughters live

in union with Christ When you understand that

you are part of the Trinity You've been invited

back into that circle circle dance of father

son and spirit Darkness has absolutely nowhere

to stand when you show up on the scene darkness

runs and hides. Understand this. Let me share

this as a close. Darkness is not your enemy.

Hear me clearly. Darkness is not your enemy.

Deception is. Christ is not distant. Christ is

very present. You do not fight for victory No,

you awaken to truth and understand that you are

already victorious Light is revealing what has

always been true Holy Spirit, I just bless every

listener every person watching this that may

watch this video Holy Spirit, I am asking you

to reveal do what you do best and reveal truth

to every person to do to them as you did to Saul

when you turned him from Saul to Paul and let

Let the veil fall fall from his eyes Allow them

to see clearly allow them to see truth clearly

speak to them revelation and it's in Jesus name

I frown that we pray I will see you again for
