  1. Amen.

  2. >> God is good.

  3. >> Amen. Amen.

  4. I sense the presence of the Lord in the

  5. house. I sense expectancy in the house.

  6. And uh I'm just excited for all the Lord

  7. is doing. Um got a great report from

  8. Brother Pedon today. He had a great day,

  9. great night last night. Was able to get

  10. up, walk around, move around, do all

  11. that stuff without a ton of pain. Um,

  12. and even on top of that, without any

  13. pain medication. So, amen. We give God

  14. praise for that. It's incredible. And,

  15. uh, I know God's going to raise him up

  16. and get him back in this house. And I

  17. just I believe that. I believe that

  18. we're we're in a season of expectancy, a

  19. blessing, and a power. Uh, but anytime

  20. that shows up, here's what I know.

  21. Here's what I really know. I know it's

  22. going to be a time of spiritual warfare,

  23. too. And so, we have to be keen. We have

  24. to be aware. We have to be in our word.

  25. We have to be in prayer and asking God

  26. to guide our hearts, go guide our minds.

  27. Um because anytime that there is

  28. blessing coming, spiritual warfare is

  29. going to be there to bring resistance so

  30. it doesn't get to you because the enemy

  31. doesn't want you to be blessed. It's

  32. just a fact tonight. He doesn't want you

  33. to be blessed. He doesn't want you to

  34. walk in the favor of God. doesn't want

  35. you to walk in the healing of of of his

  36. power and his grace. Um, but here's what

  37. you need to know. You've come to the

  38. right house tonight uh with the right

  39. shepherd and the right team that is

  40. going to guard you and is going to pray

  41. for you and is going to speak blessing

  42. and power and favor over your hearts and

  43. your lives. And uh we will walk in

  44. victory. Amen.

  45. >> I said we will walk in victory. Amen.

  46. That's what we're going to do. And uh so

  47. tonight I'm excited about that. I want

  48. you just to find your place in the book

  49. of Jude tonight. The book of Jude. Um

  50. and and many times I I don't know that

  51. I've necessarily taught or spoke out of

  52. this uh at length. Uh but I feel tonight

  53. the Holy Spirit pushing me. And we'll

  54. we'll stand in just a moment to uh read

  55. the few scriptures that I feel like are

  56. my foundational texts for tonight. But I

  57. do want to prep your heart for Sunday

  58. for our day of wonders. If you've not

  59. participated or been part uh of a day of

  60. wonders here, I'm just telling you, you

  61. are in for a treat on Sunday for how God

  62. moves and how God shifts atmospheres and

  63. families. Um it's going to look slightly

  64. different this year than it has the last

  65. couple years. Uh last couple years,

  66. we've had it set up a certain way where

  67. people with baskets are here to collect

  68. uh your first fruits offering. And

  69. here's the thing. Uh many people say,

  70. "Well, pastor, I I don't have a lot to

  71. give in that first fruits. It's not it

  72. 2025 wasn't a great year. I hear you. I

  73. feel you. But God does not look at the

  74. amount of money you're bringing to that.

  75. >> Come on. He is looking at your heart and

  76. he is seeing if you have faith to say

  77. God has been good to me. But when I

  78. plant this seed of my first fruits

  79. offering, I am saying by faith, he might

  80. have been good to me in the past, but I

  81. believe he's going to be really good to

  82. me in the future. Amen. And that's

  83. really what this first fruit is all

  84. about. It is a Old Testament obligation

  85. that becomes a New Testament opportunity

  86. for you and I. It's by no means a

  87. requirement. Uh but here's what I'll

  88. say. Every time that my family has swed

  89. into first fruits, God has turned around

  90. and blessed us beyond measure. And it

  91. has absolutely been incredible. Um and

  92. this year we we've we're still praying

  93. and dialing in exactly what we feel like

  94. the Lord would have us do. Um and I

  95. believe that it's going to be a great

  96. gift. It's going to be a sacrificial

  97. gift from us, from our family, because

  98. I'm not going to ask you to do something

  99. I'm not willing to do myself.

  100. >> If I'm if I'm gonna ask you to sew in

  101. the first fruits, I I will be the first

  102. person to step across that threshold and

  103. drop it in the basket. Can I get an

  104. amen? That that's going to be me. I'm

  105. going to lead by example. But again, it

  106. it Old Testament obligation now becomes

  107. a New Testament opportunity for us. And

  108. here's how I see it on Sunday. Just so

  109. you know, you guys are my home folks and

  110. I can I can just talk to you real

  111. tonight. This time that we come together

  112. to sew this first fruit, we're going to

  113. have I'm just going to go ahead and say

  114. it. We're going to have a fire tunnel

  115. right in that time. Okay? And this fire

  116. tunnel at that time is going to be to

  117. bless you as you take that step of

  118. faith. That's not going to be for us to

  119. go, you know, buck wild and dance and

  120. shout and all that stuff. Okay?

  121. >> All right. Let me let me get it clear.

  122. We'll get to that. We're gonna get to

  123. that on Sunday because I believe

  124. miracles are going to hit the house.

  125. >> I I am expecting that. I am I am

  126. intentionally making room for the Holy

  127. Spirit to be able to move however he

  128. wants to move in this altar. But I know

  129. it's the will of God for us to step

  130. across that threshold and sew our sacred

  131. seed and believe that God's going to

  132. just touch and minister in a powerful

  133. way. So, it's going to look a little

  134. different. You'll walk through a fire

  135. tunnel with our pastors going to be

  136. blessing you as you go by. And you're

  137. going to be able to sew that in faith,

  138. believing that God's going to move. And

  139. when that's finished and done, then I

  140. believe the Lord's going to set us up

  141. for one of the most holy and sacred

  142. times that's ever hit this house. If you

  143. need a miracle in your family, if you

  144. need a miracle in your body, if you need

  145. a miracle in your finances, if you need

  146. a miracle in your mind, we're going to

  147. open the door and we're going to say,

  148. "Now, this is the time we about to go

  149. buck wild. We going to lay hands on

  150. folks. We're going to anoint them with

  151. oil. We going to make everybody that's

  152. breathing. If you take one step into

  153. this altar, it's coming in Jesus name.

  154. Come on. We going to go for broke old

  155. school Pentecost. I know some people

  156. thinking, "What is all that about?" Come

  157. Sunday and step in the river and find

  158. out. And it's going to be incredible.

  159. So, I want you to know the Holy Spirit's

  160. given me specific instructions on how to

  161. how to operate on Sunday. And I know

  162. that he is going to get the glory from

  163. it. And here's what's so good. each one

  164. of us that come in with an expectant

  165. heart. We will be a beneficiary of the

  166. move of God on Sunday. So I I'm going to

  167. be here. I'm going to be excited. I'm

  168. going to be expectant. The question is,

  169. are you going to come expecting God to

  170. do something great in your life? Amen.

  171. So look at your neighbor. Say, "I'm

  172. coming with expectancy.

  173. I am coming with expectancy."

  174. >> Amen. So we'll give specific

  175. instructions on Sunday on how we're

  176. going to operate. We're going to go in

  177. sections in order because I believe God

  178. wants everything to be done decently in

  179. order. But hey, after that's all said

  180. and done and we open up the altar for a

  181. time of just believing for miracles, I

  182. don't know what it's going to look like.

  183. It may look chaotic to some, but it will

  184. be beautifully in order to the Lord. And

  185. uh I'm I'm really believing that if you

  186. have sickness in your body, you going to

  187. get healed on Sunday.

  188. >> I really if you know somebody's sick in

  189. their body, you better get them to this

  190. house. Uh because I feel that there's

  191. about to be a door open in this house

  192. that no man can shut.

  193. >> Come on. I I can I just go ahead and

  194. speak prophetically? You're getting

  195. you're getting the news before the news.

  196. There's a door that's about to be open

  197. in this house of miracles. There ain't

  198. no man, no denomination, no

  199. organization, no enemy, no devil, no

  200. demon, come on. No warlock will be able

  201. to stop what God is about to do. It's

  202. gonna flow through this house and it's

  203. going to flow to this community, this

  204. region, this nation, and this world. And

  205. here's the thing. I just say, "Lord, I'm

  206. willing. Do whatever you want to do

  207. through us." And so, I believe he's

  208. going to do something incredible in this

  209. house. So, tonight, if you got the book

  210. of Jude, say, "I got it."

  211. >> I can almost guarantee you I have a

  212. different translation than everybody in

  213. the house tonight. So, try your best to

  214. stay up with me on this, but I'm going

  215. to ask you to stand to your feet. Uh

  216. it's literally it's it's a sliver in the

  217. Bible. It's one chapter, okay? Is is the

  218. whole entire book of Jude, but we're

  219. going to read about four or five verses

  220. together. I want you to go down to verse

  221. number three. It's right there at the

  222. very beginning. And I want to I want to

  223. take this is one of my bedrock texts,

  224. but then I want to shift over and show

  225. you where the Lord will take us. Uh Jude

  226. verse number three. My version is the

  227. Passion Translation, and I'm going to

  228. read it like this. Dearly loved friend,

  229. I was fully intending to write to you

  230. about our amazing salvation we all

  231. participate in, but felt the need

  232. instead to challenge you to vigorously

  233. defend and contend for the beliefs that

  234. were ch that were ch that we cherish.

  235. Now, one version will say this that you

  236. earnestly contend for the faith that was

  237. once delivered to you. But he said this,

  238. "For God through the apostles has once

  239. for all entrusted these truths to his

  240. holy believers." I love how it

  241. articulates that because many people say

  242. that this faith that these beliefs are

  243. entrusted to pastors and ministers and

  244. the five-fold ministry. But he did not

  245. say that. He said it's entrusted to the

  246. believers. Somebody say, "That's me."

  247. >> That's me.

  248. >> It's entrusted to us. Now, I want you to

  249. flip a page or so over. Um, or maybe

  250. yours is all on the same page. It may

  251. fit there if your print's small enough.

  252. But go to verse number 17, if you will.

  253. And let's read there through about verse

  254. number 23. Says, "But you, my

  255. delightfully loved friends, remember the

  256. prophecies of the apostles of our Lord

  257. Jesus, the anointed one. They taught you

  258. in the last days there will always be

  259. mockers motivated by their ungodly

  260. desires." Sounds a lot like what's going

  261. on what happened in Minnesota this past

  262. Sunday. Can I get an amen?

  263. >> These people cause divisions and are

  264. followers of their own natural

  265. instincts. Watch this. Devoid of the

  266. life of the spirit. Woo. But you, my

  267. delightfully loved friends, come on now.

  268. He's talking to us. Here we go. Here's

  269. the church. constantly and progressively

  270. build yourselves up on the foundation of

  271. your most holy faith by praying every

  272. moment in the spirit.

  273. Fasten your hearts to the love of God

  274. and receive the mercy of our Lord Jesus

  275. Christ who gives us eternal life. He

  276. said, "Keep being compassionate to those

  277. who still have doubts and snatch others

  278. out of the fire to save them." Woo! Come

  279. on. We We We got some work to do,

  280. church. But he said this, "Be merciful

  281. over and over to them, but always couple

  282. your mercy with the fear of God." He

  283. said, the writer said it like this in

  284. this version, "Be extremely careful to

  285. keep yourselves free from the pollutions

  286. of the flesh."

  287. That's that I I'm telling you, you could

  288. read that. I could shut that baby say,

  289. "Let's all get in the altar and let's

  290. repent and say, Lord, let us do better."

  291. Can I get an amen?

  292. >> He lays it out pretty plain. I I want to

  293. say this. I feel that the Lord is

  294. bringing me down to a conclusion as far

  295. as a series on thresholds. And last

  296. week, we talked about the threats at the

  297. threshold on Wednesday night. But this

  298. week in uh in continuation of that same

  299. thought, but a different vein, we talked

  300. about the threats. And that's good. And

  301. we've identified what the enemy desires

  302. to do. But tonight, it's not going to be

  303. mostly an identifying message, but

  304. tonight is going to be more of a

  305. recruiting message. And what does that

  306. mean? That means that God is asking me

  307. to come in here and recruit people that

  308. are willing to be guardians of sacred

  309. thresholds.

  310. >> Guardians of sacred thresholds. Because

  311. for where we're going, we can't just

  312. look at it and say, "Well, pastor will

  313. take care of that."

  314. I I don't want to do it by myself.

  315. >> We are better together. And the Bible

  316. says if one can put a thousand to

  317. flight,

  318. >> if two can put 10,000 to flight, I

  319. wonder what would happen if on a

  320. Wednesday night we got together and we

  321. said, "Lord, we're pushing in the same

  322. direction." Come on. Does anybody see

  323. this thing spiritually already? I

  324. believe God's calling us to be

  325. recruited. So tonight, I just ask you to

  326. lift those hands to heaven and let's

  327. pray and ask for God's help. Father, I

  328. thank you. I praise you for your word,

  329. Lord. That I Lord, it's already spoke to

  330. us just by reading it, God. It's

  331. encouraged me. And Lord, tonight, I pray

  332. that you would just open your word in a

  333. more deep way for us to understand. Open

  334. it up for us to be able to run with this

  335. thing. Uh so we don't have to hesitate.

  336. We don't have to guess, but we know

  337. which direction we're running in. You've

  338. called us with a holy calling and you

  339. placed an anointing on us. Now use us to

  340. guard what you are placing that's

  341. precious in our life and sacred in our

  342. life. And father we'll give you praise

  343. in Jesus name we pray. And everybody

  344. says amen and amen. You may be seated in

  345. the presence of the Lord tonight. I'm

  346. going to try my best to teach a little

  347. bit and maybe even uh migrate into

  348. preaching a little bit if it gets to

  349. that uh level tonight. But I do want us

  350. to understand the importance of the

  351. season that we are stepping into. This

  352. is not just something that we do at the

  353. beginning of every year talking about

  354. where we feel like the Lord would have

  355. us go. It's not uh just a ritual or a

  356. routine that we take this very

  357. seriously. And I I go through much

  358. prayer and agony asking the Lord to make

  359. sure that I have the heart of God, not

  360. just for anybody, but just for our body.

  361. I'm not responsible to pastor any other

  362. church. I'm responsible to pastor this

  363. church and lead and guide you in the way

  364. the Lord would have me to lead and guide

  365. you. But in that vein, my heart is every

  366. year that we come together, Lord, give

  367. us clear and pure direction that's not

  368. defiled by man's ideas, not defiled by

  369. greed, not defiled by any kind of

  370. imagination or motive that may not be

  371. pure, but God, give us your heart for

  372. this season and where you are taking us.

  373. where you're taking our families, where

  374. you're taking our children, where you're

  375. taking us on this journey of faith that

  376. I'll be honest with you, we so

  377. desperately need a fresh anointing every

  378. single day on this journey of faith. But

  379. if it's not in line with the will and

  380. purpose of God, many times we will step

  381. outside of his will trying to grasp at

  382. anything. But when we hear his voice, we

  383. are solidified knowing that God has

  384. sacred thresholds for this church to

  385. cross over in 2026. Some that you may

  386. not even know about. You may not be

  387. expecting them when they show up, but

  388. we've got clear direction that God is

  389. giving us marching orders that we're

  390. fixing to bring the gospel and the power

  391. of God to this community like it's never

  392. seen before.

  393. >> I believe this with all my heart that

  394. God has given us a mandate and a

  395. mission. I'm not in competition. I'm not

  396. I'm not here to throw stones at somebody

  397. else in the same river. I pray that

  398. every church in the 32531 zip code is

  399. overflowing this Sunday with people and

  400. with the glory of God. I pray that the

  401. power of the Holy Spirit breaks out in

  402. every single church. I pray if they if

  403. they preach Jesus Christ and him

  404. crucified that the Holy Spirit will show

  405. up in power and manifest and people will

  406. be delivered. That I'm going to tell

  407. you, I am a capital C church kind of

  408. guy. I believe in the kingdom of God.

  409. There's not a jealous bone in my body. I

  410. believe I I've even talked to one of

  411. them, my my pastor friend from down the

  412. road, Pastor Justin, this past week, and

  413. I just told him, I said, "There's my

  414. bapteostal friend right there. Come on.

  415. I believe that God's fixing to pour his

  416. spirit out at Pilgrim Rest. I believe

  417. that God's fixing to Come on. I believe

  418. he's fixing to pour himself out at

  419. Golden, at Shady Grove, at Holton

  420. Assembly, Hope Baptist. If there's any

  421. Milligan Baptist right down here, I

  422. drive by it every single day. I believe

  423. God's going to pour his spirit out

  424. because it's not God's will that there

  425. is an empty seat in the house, but that

  426. his house will be full. Not just with

  427. people and numbers and money, but it

  428. will be full of the glory and the

  429. manifestation of the power of God. And I

  430. want to know, is there anybody in the

  431. house tonight that would say, "Pastor,

  432. that is my heart. That is my desire.

  433. I'll fight with you. I'll fight again."

  434. Well, come on. I'll fight alongside you

  435. and say I'll do it in prayer and reading

  436. and believing that God is able to do

  437. what he said he's going to do.

  438. >> Hallelujah.

  439. >> And if we believe on that level in that

  440. type of unity, believing that one can

  441. put a thousand to flight, two can put

  442. 10,000 to flight. Can I tell you God's

  443. about to open the door of blessing over

  444. this house?

  445. >> Amen.

  446. >> He's about to open the door of blessing

  447. over our hearts, over our lives, over

  448. our situations, over our families. And I

  449. believe with all with all my heart that

  450. the door he's about to open, no man will

  451. be able to shut it. This past week, I I

  452. got a I got the news just like you did

  453. about the situation that was going on in

  454. Minnesota with this church and

  455. everything that was happening there. And

  456. uh God bless him. I don't know, brother

  457. Mack ain't here tonight, but uh he knows

  458. me all too well because he called me on

  459. uh shoot Monday I think it was. And uh I

  460. was driving down the road and and he

  461. said he said, "Pastor," he said, "First

  462. of all, I know you don't watch the

  463. news." And I said, "You're right. I hate

  464. the news."

  465. >> Come on.

  466. >> I don't care if it's Fox News, CNN, NBC,

  467. CNBC, all that stuff. I don't like

  468. They're just doing all that for ratings

  469. anyways.

  470. >> Hello.

  471. >> Every time I say the news, I got to hold

  472. my nose so it don't stink. I'm just

  473. saying.

  474. >> And he said, "I know you don't watch the

  475. news." He said, "But I got to fill you

  476. in on what's going on." Well, I got to

  477. tell you. And I said, I said, "Talk to

  478. me." And he started telling me. I said,

  479. "Well," I said, "Go figure." This is one

  480. of the first days I've had off to do

  481. nothing in a while. And I actually

  482. turned the news on and I saw what's

  483. going on. And I began to see that and

  484. begin to watch what was going on uh in

  485. Minnesota. And you see this this crowd

  486. walk literally into a service just like

  487. we're having right now and begin to

  488. disrupt and begin to uh cause chaos

  489. while they were trying to worship and

  490. calling it free speech and calling it

  491. something that is available for

  492. everybody. I have the right to exercise

  493. my free speech. And and and listen, I we

  494. could get into political lanes tonight

  495. and I'm not going to get too far into

  496. that because I know uh you political

  497. agendas and thought processes and people

  498. have different ideas when it comes to

  499. that. And I don't I'm not here to

  500. promote an argument or cause dissension.

  501. But I want you to understand in America

  502. constitutionally that is not protected.

  503. Now, we have free speech and we can say

  504. what we want to say and we have the

  505. right to assemble and protest, but not

  506. in the house of God like that.

  507. >> Amen. Come on, somebody.

  508. >> It's just the truth. We have the right

  509. to peacefully assemble and and and

  510. protest. That is true and that is

  511. constitutional. But it has to be in a

  512. public place where you are allowed to be

  513. without any kind of opposition.

  514. This this house is privately owned.

  515. >> That's right.

  516. >> By Bill and First Assembly of God

  517. Incorporated and they do not have the

  518. right to walk in and cause chaos while

  519. people are trying to worship God. There

  520. are different acts that have been set up

  521. according to our constitution and our

  522. laws and our legislative branch that

  523. protect the right for us to worship and

  524. protect the right for us to be able to

  525. stand here and worship without threat of

  526. anybody interrupting what God wants to

  527. do in this house. And the and even watch

  528. this. The government cannot intrude on

  529. our worship.

  530. >> So constitutionally, we can argue about

  531. that all day long. I know I know just

  532. enough to make me dangerous when it

  533. comes to those kind of things. But

  534. here's what I want you to understand.

  535. The fact remains it happened and nobody

  536. stopped it.

  537. >> We can CALL ON THE CONSTITUTION all we

  538. want to

  539. >> and we can say this and I'm listen I'm

  540. not here to recruit an army. I I know

  541. that was one one question. If pastor, if

  542. you send somebody to Minnesota, I want

  543. to be the first one.

  544. Well, I need you here. Come on,

  545. somebody. I need you here in case

  546. somebody tries to be crazy up in this

  547. house. But I have a feeling if somebody

  548. tries to be crazy like this in this

  549. house, we got enough men of God that'll

  550. stand up and say, "Oh, no, sir. Not in

  551. this house."

  552. >> And here's what I know. I this this was

  553. joke this was a joke and it got me and

  554. it was it was it made me giggle and I

  555. laughed and I sent it to a bunch of

  556. people. But Babylon B really did it good

  557. because it talked about protesters

  558. coming into a Pentecostal church and

  559. they said, "We didn't even know there

  560. was protest and they just joined right

  561. in." Come on. Hey, I'm just being

  562. honest. If they show up in here at the

  563. wrong place at the wrong time, they

  564. liable to get hands laid on them. Not in

  565. an abusive way, but say, "In the name of

  566. Jesus, be delivered." Come on. I I just

  567. believe that with all my heart. If they

  568. choose to come up in here, they may come

  569. to cause a riot, but we done caused a

  570. riot in the spirit. And I believe God's

  571. going to set them free in Jesus name.

  572. >> So we look at what is going on around us

  573. and we say, "Oh, constitutionally we

  574. should be protected." But the fact

  575. remains it still happened.

  576. >> LITERALLY, THIS IS ALMOST JUST like

  577. Elijah and the prophets of Baal meeting

  578. on Mount Carmel.

  579. >> Spiritually speaking, I'm not I'm not

  580. here to advocate for violence in any

  581. way. If someone comes here to protest,

  582. the first thing I'm going to do is go

  583. get them a bunch of bottles of water and

  584. say, "Listen, I want you to know Jesus

  585. loves you."

  586. >> Come on.

  587. >> You hang with me long enough through the

  588. rest of this year, I'm feeling real

  589. dangerous this year. I may bring all

  590. kinds of controversy up in here. And you

  591. may say, "My god, pastor done lost his

  592. mind." It's true, but we're taking some

  593. things. We're taking some territory back

  594. from the enemy. We're going to take some

  595. territory back. If nobody else will say

  596. it, I'll go ahead and say it. I'll go

  597. ahead and do it. And it may cause some

  598. controversy. and make it interesting.

  599. But I'm going to tell you, we're going

  600. to love people and we're going to offer

  601. them a cup of water in the name of

  602. Jesus. And you watch, people are going

  603. to be radically transformed.

  604. >> It's going to happen.

  605. But it's it's almost like Elijah and the

  606. prophets of Baal that are on Mount

  607. Carmel, and it's a showdown,

  608. >> if you will, of who serves the real God.

  609. >> Who serves the real God? Don Lemon ought

  610. to be ashamed of himself.

  611. He should have been. It's just being

  612. honest. He knew what he was doing. He

  613. wasn't going there for justice. He was

  614. jealous of a young man that went around

  615. to a bunch of businesses, got a bunch of

  616. likes and a bunch of clicks and probably

  617. a bunch of money for exposing fraud. And

  618. he said, "I got to dip into that, too."

  619. Getting fired from CNN because he's a

  620. vile person. And now he's trying to find

  621. another foothold to make some more money

  622. because he's greedy.

  623. And all them people that walked around

  624. with him didn't realize that he would

  625. they were being used as pawns.

  626. >> That's right.

  627. >> In his scheme and really were hurting

  628. people. They really were hurting people

  629. of God. Children that were in the room

  630. that were terrified of what was going

  631. on. And we won't talk about that on the

  632. news. No, no, no, no, no. Don't talk

  633. about that. How dare How dare we put

  634. blame on someone that may have an

  635. opposing view as us? I I don't care what

  636. political affiliation any of them are

  637. with. It was wrong.

  638. It was wrong. And the danger is in

  639. America that if this kind of thing is

  640. allowed for too long, then it won't be

  641. about an ICE agent. It won't be about uh

  642. political opposition. It'll be because I

  643. disagree with that pastor down there on

  644. Highway 4. So, let's go disrupt that

  645. service and cause havoc for those

  646. precious people that are in that room.

  647. >> And they'll feel justified because

  648. somebody else wasn't stopped.

  649. >> But watch this. The only thing that is

  650. going to disrupt the enemy's agenda in

  651. this is for the church to get back to

  652. what we really believe.

  653. >> It's for the church to really get back

  654. to what was entrusted to us rather from

  655. the apostles. the faith that was once

  656. delivered to us to stand up and SAY GOD

  657. HAS NOT CALLED us to be drifters in the

  658. kingdom of God. And God has not called

  659. us to be pew sitters and pew warmers in

  660. the church in the in the kingdom of God.

  661. BUT GOD HAS CALLED US TO be contributors

  662. so that we can stand up against the

  663. enemy. WE MAY NOT COME AGAINST HIM WITH

  664. A GUN and with a with a knife or with

  665. something physical BECAUSE WE DON'T

  666. FIGHT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD BUT

  667. AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS. SO

  668. THAT MEANS WHEN I COME AGAINST THE

  669. ENEMY, I'VE GOT TO COME AS A spiritual

  670. person and in my SPIRIT DO WAR WITH THE

  671. ENEMY AND SAY, "YOU KNOW WHAT? I BELIEVE

  672. MY GOD is real." AND YOU MAY YELL, YOU

  673. MAY GET CRAZY, BUT I BELIEVE my God's

  674. about to ANSWER BY FIRE. WHAT ARE YOU

  675. TALKING ABOUT, PASTOR? THERE IS A LAST

  676. day revival outpouring that is coming to

  677. the church again. And if you're ready

  678. for GOD TO ANSWER BY FIRE, stick around

  679. LONG ENOUGH. IT MAY NOT BE A PHYSICAL

  680. FLAME THAT RESTS ON TOP OF US. BUT THERE

  681. WILL BE A FIRE THAT'S IN THIS HOUSE.

  682. THERE'LL BE A FIRE THAT'S IN BELIEVERS.

  683. THERE'LL BE A FIRE THAT'S IN THIS

  684. CHURCH. THERE'LL BE A FIRE WHEN YOU GO

  685. BACK TO YOUR HOUSE. THERE'LL BE A FIRE

  686. WHEN YOU GO TO YOUR HOME. THERE'LL BE A

  687. FIRE WHEN YOU GO TO YOUR WORK. THERE'LL

  688. BE A FIRE FOR OUR YOUNG PEOPLE WHEN THEY

  689. GO BACK TO SCHOOL. AND NOBODY WILL

  690. QUESTION WHETHER GOD IS REAL OR WHETHER

  691. God is false.

  692. If we're looking for the real God to

  693. answer, he will answer that way by

  694. people that profess to be Christians,

  695. they will stop saying it and they'll do

  696. it.

  697. >> There's advertisement companies that say

  698. when they come in and they begin to help

  699. you with marketing and stuff like that

  700. that they say, "Our goal is to close

  701. what they call the say do gap."

  702. Because people will SAY, "WE DO ALL

  703. THESE THINGS. This is what we do. This

  704. is what we do. WE WE WE DO ALL THIS."

  705. AND THEY'LL advertise what we do. But

  706. really when you boil it down, they say

  707. that, but what they actually do is not

  708. what they say they do.

  709. >> And can I tell you, I feel like the say

  710. due gap has gotten wider as generations

  711. pass

  712. >> in the church.

  713. >> If I could just be honest, I don't mean

  714. that in a negative way. I mean that in a

  715. revelatory way tonight to let us know

  716. that we have to close that say do gap if

  717. we're going to be effective for the

  718. kingdom of God. Amen.

  719. >> That means if if we're supposed to be in

  720. our word,

  721. let's be in our word.

  722. >> Amen.

  723. >> That's why I'm hoping through this

  724. season of wonders through praying,

  725. fasting, giving, and reading that it has

  726. helped you create a routine and a and

  727. and a a time for your family to set

  728. aside time to say, "Hey, we're going to

  729. read the word of God together." There's

  730. nothing like having your babies gather

  731. up in a living room and hear them read a

  732. section of scripture and then begin to

  733. talk about it and say, "Wow, I've never

  734. even heard that before. That's amazing."

  735. I'm telling you, it was kind of a joke

  736. in our house when we read over this past

  737. few weeks. We begin to read and then all

  738. of a sudden, you know how it goes.

  739. Paul's causing chaos and then the next

  740. line is, "And the Jews set out a plot

  741. against him to kill him." I was like,

  742. "How many times did this guy escape

  743. death?"

  744. >> It was crazy. And our kids were like,

  745. "Oh, here we go again.

  746. Here we go again. And we had so much fun

  747. reading about that. Probably one of the

  748. most fun ones, I think it was from last

  749. night when we read that where he was

  750. standing before Ananas, the high priest,

  751. and the high priest told him he was

  752. going to do this right here. And he

  753. looked back at him and said, "Hey, the

  754. Lord's going to slap you in the face."

  755. >> Come on.

  756. >> He He told him, that's what Ananas TOLD

  757. THE GUY STANDING BESIDE PAUL. SLAP THAT

  758. man in the mouth. Hit him in the mouth.

  759. And he said, "The Lord's about to slap

  760. you in the face,

  761. >> dude. Come on. Jerry Springer up in

  762. Acts. Come on. It's getting crazy.

  763. And wow,

  764. >> IT'S SO MUCH FUN BECAUSE IF WE DON'T

  765. CLOSE THE SAY DO GAP, we will lose the

  766. next generation

  767. >> because they will look at us and it'll

  768. be like this. Do as I say, not as I do.

  769. >> But you don't reproduce what you want,

  770. you reproduce what you are.

  771. >> Let that sink in.

  772. We don't reproduce what we want. We

  773. reproduce what we are.

  774. That's in every part of our life. And if

  775. we don't close that sad do gap, there

  776. will be no guardians

  777. of the sacred thresholds.

  778. There will be nobody to stand up and

  779. say, I'm going to guard it for this

  780. house, but I'm also going to guard it

  781. for who's next.

  782. Because can you imagine the impact if

  783. this church was not here and full of the

  784. power of God?

  785. Come on.

  786. We're going to reach people. We reach

  787. vulnerable people all the time. We

  788. partner with other churches that step in

  789. here and help us reach vulnerable people

  790. all the time. We try our best to make

  791. outreaches happen. We bring people to

  792. our campus to love on them. And we're

  793. making an impact in the community. But

  794. what really drives back the enemy and

  795. people don't even realize it is the

  796. power of God that's in this house and

  797. represented in this community through

  798. the flame of the Holy Spirit that drives

  799. back the spirit of darkness that wants

  800. to control this area.

  801. >> Some people say, "Well, that's weird.

  802. You're getting weird." No, I'm just

  803. being real because we're not in a

  804. fleshly battle. WE'RE IN A SPIRITUAL

  805. BATTLE.

  806. AND IF THE flame dies in this house,

  807. then the enemy has a foothold and an

  808. opportunity to REACH A COMMUNITY. THAT'S

  809. WHY EVERY TIME WE COME TOGETHER, I'M NOT

  810. GOING TO WASTE A SERVICE. I'm not GOING

  811. TO WASTE A SERMON. I'M NOT GOING TO

  812. WASTE THE TIME TO TEACH BECAUSE I KNOW

  813. EVERY WORD I SPEAK, I AM DRIVING BACK

  814. THE enemy off of somebody's life right

  815. now in this moment, I am driving THE

  816. ENEMY OUT OF SOMEBODY'S MIND. SOMEBODY'S

  817. THINKING ABOUT MAKING ONE DECISION, but

  818. the power of God is driving OUT THE

  819. OPPORTUNISTIC OF the enemy to be able to

  820. bring you to a place of COMPROMISE AND

  821. SAYING YES to God and no to the enemy,

  822. >> sir.

  823. >> No to the enemy. But it comes to a place

  824. we have to recognize this is about to be

  825. a showdown.

  826. >> It's about to be a showdown.

  827. And so this is the time where we have to

  828. really let the rubber meet the road and

  829. say if we're actually going to do this,

  830. let's do it.

  831. And I just want to talk to you like

  832. family tonight. I I just I really do

  833. because my heart is that God is about to

  834. open a door over this house. I I I

  835. preached it um maybe a couple years back

  836. uh the window of opportunity and and

  837. talking about how that the Lord was

  838. going to open up a window of opportunity

  839. over our country for the church.

  840. >> I really believe that window is still

  841. open over this nation. I really do. And

  842. like like him or hate him, I that's

  843. again political agenda is not what I'm

  844. here to say. But Trump in many ways that

  845. other presidents have not been has been

  846. a friend of the church

  847. because he's opened up opportunities for

  848. the church to have their voice in

  849. political realms and political circles.

  850. So much so that he's designated a place

  851. in the West Wing where all the other

  852. people get to be in there and

  853. formulating their plans and all their

  854. crazy stuff. That as that is the the the

  855. National Biblical Advisory Board. I

  856. forget what the name of it is, but

  857. basically there is a representation of

  858. the church in the west wing so that when

  859. decisions are being made, he can walk

  860. three steps down the down the hallway

  861. and say, "Hey, I need you to pray for

  862. me."

  863. >> Come on, somebody. But what that also

  864. does that opens up credibility to the

  865. church during this season that if we

  866. will not get loose and get compromised

  867. if we'll stay tuned to what God wants us

  868. to do, the revival will come and God

  869. will put his hand on our heart and God

  870. will place his favor on our lives and

  871. then in that we will have that open

  872. opportunity to reach people unrestrained

  873. by the government.

  874. And so we have to embrace the window of

  875. opportunity that we have knowing, yes,

  876. we are in the last days. And what we got

  877. to do, we got to do it quickly, but

  878. thank God for a window of opportunity

  879. for the church.

  880. >> Now, we know persecution does what? It

  881. makes the church grow. It doesn't mean

  882. we're not going to be persecuted.

  883. Doesn't mean there's not going to be

  884. opposition. Doesn't mean it's going to

  885. be like going down a big old slipping

  886. slide with no resistance. Come on,

  887. somebody.

  888. >> That that's not where we're at. There's

  889. going to be push back. There's going to

  890. be a a a a probably recognizable push

  891. back in a fight because the enemy is not

  892. going to sit and just take it.

  893. >> But we've got to have enough tenacity in

  894. oursel that we look back like he told us

  895. in the scripture. He said, "It intended

  896. to write to you about your amazing

  897. salvation we all participate in. But I

  898. felt the need instead to challenge you

  899. vigorously to vigorously defend and

  900. contend for the beliefs that we

  901. cherish."

  902. And so tonight, that's my assignment is

  903. to challenge us to vigorously and

  904. earnestly fight and contend for the

  905. faith that God has given us

  906. >> to fight for it recognizing that there

  907. is a price to be paid. Yes, but there is

  908. also a prize to win on the other side of

  909. this fight. And that is knowing that

  910. there will be if the Lord carries,

  911. there'll be a church that I want my kids

  912. to attend.

  913. >> My heart is under the inspiration and

  914. direction of the Holy Spirit is to build

  915. a church that I want to be part of.

  916. >> Amen.

  917. >> And I'm not going to let any enemy I'm

  918. not going to let anybody come in and try

  919. to convince me otherwise. My heart is to

  920. build it. to build it the way God said

  921. build it. And when God when God builds

  922. the house, hey, he's going to author it.

  923. He's going to sustain it. He's going to

  924. provide for it. He's going to take care

  925. of every need. He's going to help me

  926. fight the enemies off of the house.

  927. Amen.

  928. >> And I believe with all my heart that you

  929. have the same desire in this house to

  930. say, "Listen, it couldn't it I couldn't

  931. care less, pastor. What name is above

  932. the door? I want to know is the glory of

  933. God in the house?"

  934. >> Come on. affiliation is great and all

  935. that's beautiful and wonderful in his

  936. time and in his season and and and and

  937. and in time. But here's what I want you

  938. to understand. If the glory is not in

  939. here, it don't matter what's over the

  940. door.

  941. >> It don't matter.

  942. It makes no sense to me that people will

  943. cling to an affiliation. They'll cling

  944. to a name. They'll cling to a to a old

  945. path or a old way and say, "Well, we did

  946. it like this forever. THAT'S HOW WE

  947. ALWAYS DONE IT." WELL, MAYBE it ain't

  948. working no more.

  949. Amen.

  950. >> Sometimes you got to shift. There's got

  951. to be a shift. And we talked about on

  952. the Sunday, that Sunday, man, there was

  953. a shift that happened in this house.

  954. >> It was crazy. Like, I'm telling you,

  955. man, the Lord just I mean, he shifted

  956. during worship. Uh that was a a crazy

  957. anointing that hit this house during

  958. worship.

  959. >> Crazy anointing. Something I've never

  960. felt before in my life. And then the

  961. Lord shifted things when we begin to

  962. preach and declare the word of God. I'm

  963. telling you just get ready. Just get

  964. ready.

  965. >> Get ready. Now

  966. I will say this when it comes to us

  967. closing the say do gap the importance

  968. for us and the safety for us as a

  969. believer is that when we get so full of

  970. the word of God and we get so enamored

  971. by the word of God and seeing the

  972. character of Christ and the character of

  973. God in his word and we get so full of

  974. that. Watch this. If we're full of the

  975. word of God like that and we're in love

  976. with the word of God, when the enemy

  977. brings something to try to seduce us or

  978. convince us otherwise, we will be able

  979. to recognize it just like that.

  980. >> Why? Why has the church in America been

  981. so deceived? Because they are biblically

  982. illiterate.

  983. >> It's just the truth.

  984. >> They don't know what the word of God

  985. says even about Jesus. Yeah,

  986. >> they don't even know what the word of

  987. God they THEY HADN'T EVEN GOT BACK IN

  988. THE OLD Testament because they don't

  989. even know how to read some of that.

  990. They're like, "I don't know WHAT TO DO."

  991. NO. DIVE IN AND SAY, "WELL, I MAY NOT

  992. UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING." YOU'RE RIGHT.

  993. THERE'S SOMETIMES I READ I GOT TO READ

  994. IT 27 TIMES BECAUSE I'm like, "I don't

  995. understand none of that." Like, help me,

  996. Holy Spirit.

  997. >> Just being transparent.

  998. >> Some of y'all are second guessing your

  999. choice for churches right now.

  1000. >> Pastor, I don't understand the whole

1001. word of God. If you expect me to

1002. understand everything in that word, then

1003. you have put me on a pedestal that I

  1004. refuse to sit on.

  1005. >> Hello.

  1006. >> It's just the truth, ain't it?

  1007. >> It's the truth. I'm learning every day.

1008. I learn things every single day. And

  1009. that's a good thing.

  1010. >> That means we're learning. But here's

1011. all I want you to understand. If we get

1012. so full of the word of God, when the

1013. enemy presents compromise, we will

  1014. recognize it immediately.

  1015. >> Immediately. There'll be something that

1016. checks in our spirit. The Holy Spirit

1017. will check us and say, "Hey, something

  1018. ain't right."

1019. >> And I guarantee you, the Lord will bring

1020. back to members a scripture that says,

1021. "This is exactly what is right. That's

  1022. why that's wrong."

  1023. >> Amen.

1024. >> That's the relationship each of us can

1025. have in with the Holy Spirit. And if you

1026. have that, it automatically closes the

  1027. say do gap.

1028. Tightens it up. I'm not saying that

1029. every time we're going to be perfect. I

  1030. ain't said every time your pastor's

1031. going to get it right, I'm going to go

1032. ahead and give myself some grace and say

1033. there going to be sometimes I'm going to

1034. make a bad choice. There be mean

1035. sometimes I'm going to make the wrong

  1036. decision.

  1037. >> Hello, somebody.

1038. >> There be some times that that that I may

1039. I may feel like this is the right way to

1040. go and I make that choice and I go that

1041. way and then I say, you know what, we're

1042. gonna have to back up and punt because

1043. that was probably not the best thing to

  1044. do.

1045. And so when people stare at me, like

1046. some people are staring at me now,

1047. all I can think back to is uh the the

1048. story in the word of God where the the

1049. young lady was caught in the act of

  1050. adultery,

1051. deserved to die, deserved to be stoned,

1052. brought brought this lady before Jesus

1053. and and cast her down in front of him

1054. and said, "Hey, she was caught in the

1055. very act of adultery. She needs to be

1056. stoned. What did you say?

1057. Jesus being the all knowing, he said,

1058. "Well, first of all, you set her up so

  1059. you knew about it.

1060. >> Which one of you was in bed with her?

1061. >> Come on. I I do." Jesus was He was bad

1062. to the bone, y'all. Come on. He didn't

  1063. mess with nobody.

1064. >> He mess with nobody. But he looked at

1065. him. He said, "All right." He said, "You

1066. can do it if you want to, but if you

1067. anybody that wants to throw a stone, you

1068. better know that you haven't done

1069. anything wrong. you better know that you

  1070. perfect.

1071. >> And then all of a sudden, one by one,

1072. they dropped and left and walked away.

1073. And he looked at her, said, "Hey,

  1074. where'd everybody go? Where's your

  1075. accusers?" Said, "I don't know." He

1076. said, "Well, I don't condemn you." He

1077. said, "Get up." He said, "Go, but sin no

  1078. more."

1079. He says, "Send no more." God's grace is

1080. far beyond anything that we could ever

1081. think or imagine. And I'm going to talk

1082. about that in just a few moments,

1083. talking about guardians, because if

1084. we're going to be guardians, we've got

1085. to have grace with people.

1086. We've got to display mercy with people.

1087. >> We've got to understand just because

  1088. they made a mistake,

1089. it doesn't mean that we are too perfect

1090. to not make a mistake.

1091. All right? Now, I want you to understand

1092. this that when we're becoming guardians

1093. of the threshold, the sacred threshold,

1094. I want you to see this is it isn't just

  1095. for us.

1096. It's not just for people that are church

  1097. people.

  1098. >> Amen.

1099. >> When you make up your mind to be a

1100. guardian, you are guarding that for

1101. anybody. Watch this. He is not willing

  1102. that any should perish,

1103. >> but that all should come to repentance.

1104. Whosoever will, let them come unto me.

1105. >> That means in that whosoever will, and

1106. he's not willing, any should perish, but

1107. all the all and whosoever will. Listen,

1108. that all and whosoever will is about to

  1109. walk through our doors.

1110. >> And you've got to be ready as a church

  1111. to embrace them.

1112. Embrace them like you would your best

1113. friend. They say, "Well, I don't know

1114. them." I don't care if you know them or

1115. not. You could if you embrace them.

1116. That's right. You will get to know them.

1117. They say, "Well, they they don't look

  1118. like me." So what?

1119. You're gonna be really uncomfortable in

  1120. heaven.

  1121. >> Hello.

  1122. >> Am I Am I Am I making any sense tonight?

  1123. >> I don't know if I am or not. I just got

1124. to my notes. I hadn't even just I just

1125. got there. I don't know where any of the

1126. other stuff come from, but just take it

1127. and run with it. It'll be fine. But the

1128. fact is people that live in a religious

1129. mindset that it's it's got to be they

1130. got to look like me, they got to act

1131. like me, come from the same

1132. socioeconomic background as me, same

  1133. nationality, same ethnic background. I I

1134. got to keep it tight. Can I tell you

1135. that's not God's vision for the church.

1136. >> I want this church to look like heaven

  1137. on earth.

1138. >> Amen. And if you don't get your heart

1139. right or there's the door.

  1140. >> Amen.

  1141. >> It's just the truth.

1142. If that and I understand apprehensions

  1143. people I'm not I don't know about all

  1144. this stuff pastor. We're we're inviting

1145. people in. Can I tell you when we

1146. started looking to do a family's count,

1147. one of the things that broke my heart so

1148. much is we met with a pastor and he he

1149. was explaining the whole situation to me

1150. and man the first time he even said

1151. families count we take in these people

1152. that are vulnerable potentially losing

1153. their kids uh to the system or maybe

1154. they have lost their kids to the system.

1155. They're trying to work to get their kids

  1156. back. I said no more. We're in. I said I

  1157. don't know what it looks like. I don't

1158. know what you want us to do but just

1159. just know the rest of your pitch. You're

1160. not trying to convince me to do this.

1161. I'm in. Just tell me how to do it. He

1162. and he stopped and he started crying.

1163. And I was like, man, what's wrong with

1164. you? Just tell me what to do. I'm I'm

1165. in. I'm ready. And he said he said,

1166. "Pastor," he said, he said, "You don't

1167. know how many times I get to this point

1168. and people don't even want to know what

1169. it's about. They say our church is not

  1170. going to do this."

1171. And and he said the reasoning behind it

1172. is is is we don't want those kind of

  1173. people in our church.

  1174. >> And I that then I started crying.

1175. >> We all started boohooing in the room

1176. because I was like Lord that is not our

1177. heart posture. I was like, "But Lord,

1178. forgive the church for being so

  1179. ignorant.

1180. >> Forgive the church for being so ignorant

1181. that we we literally have at one time in

1182. the 32531 zip code, there were 70

1183. families that needed this class.

1184. 70 families that needed this class.

1185. Times that by two, 140. Times that

1186. probably by about two or three or maybe

1187. four kids sometimes. sometimes upward of

1188. five or six children. You're talking

1189. about hundreds and hundreds of people

1190. that are within just a stones throw of

1191. this church and other churches in this

1192. area. And there were people that I don't

1193. not in this area because we've got great

1194. people that have partnered with us and

1195. said, "Let's do this." And I'm thankful

1196. for that. But I'm telling you, there

1197. were people that WOULD SAY NO TO THE

1198. harvest when all we got to do is invite

1199. them in and love them.

1200. >> And then take the next step beyond that

1201. and as a church family, love them.

1202. You let me work on all the cleanup. I'll

1203. do all the cleanup. Me and my team will

1204. work on all the clean up. You just worry

  1205. about loving them.

  1206. >> Amen.

  1207. >> Don't Don't feel like you got to

1208. pressure a man. Well, hey, listen. We

  1209. don't act like that here. Don't Don't

1210. let me catch you say that.

1211. >> I'll take some out of order. I promise

1212. you I will put it in order. I've done it

1213. many times. I'll do it again. As long as

  1214. Lord Tarries, I'm sure it'll happen

1215. again. It's fine. It is what it is. It's

1216. part of the job. But don't try to scale

1217. a fish before we catch it.

1218. >> You love them. And I promise you, you're

1219. going to love them right into freedom.

1220. >> You're going to love them right into

1221. liberty. Come on. You're going to love

1222. them right into the place where God

1223. wants them to be. And when they get in

1224. that place, then after they belong, they

1225. can become what God called them to be.

1226. >> Okay. I don't know where that was at

1227. either. Oh, that's right. It's not just

1228. for us. is for those that are coming

  1229. next.

1230. >> We're guarding the sacred things that

1231. are about to be released in this house,

1232. not just for us to enjoy, but for the

1233. the people that are walking in next, for

1234. them to walk into it and experience it,

  1235. too.

1236. And so, my heart is that we will reflect

1237. heaven on earth. Heaven on earth. Now,

1238. if you want to follow on, you can. I'm

1239. going to go back to the book of Jude.

  1240. All right. verses 8 9 10 and 11 if you

1241. want to look at this this was the fate

1242. of the apostates that he was talking

1243. about and he said in the same way

1244. it was it was a recruiting moment he was

1245. saying it's time to contend for the

1246. faith but then he said if we're going to

1247. contend for the faith I want you to know

1248. kind of what you're up against so that

1249. you can clearly understand when I give

1250. you instructions on how to become a

1251. guardian it will make sense to you so

1252. you ready for this if you're ready shout

  1253. say bring it on

1254. >> it in the same way These sensual

1255. dreamers corrupt and pollute uh it says

1256. the the natural realm while on the other

1257. hand they reject the spiritual realms of

1258. governmental power uh and repeatedly

1259. scoff at heavenly glories. Even the

1260. archangel Michael when he was disputing

1261. with the devil over the body of Moses

1262. dared not insult or slander him but

1263. simply said the Lord Yahweh rebuke you.

1264. I want you to see this. Go to verse

1265. number 10. These people insult anything

1266. they don't understand. They behave like

1267. irrational beasts doing by doing

1268. whatever they feel like doing because

1269. they live by their an by their animal

1270. instincts. They corrupt themselves and

1271. bring about their own destruction. How

1272. terrible it is for them for they have

1273. followed in the steps of Cain. They have

1274. abandoned themselves to Balam's errors.

1275. Balam's error rather because of their

1276. greedy pursuit of financial gain. And

1277. since they have rebelled like Kora

1278. rebelled, they will experience the same

1279. fate of Kora and likewise perish. I want

1280. you to understand what Judah setting up

1281. here is he's not so much just calling

1282. names to call names, but he's letting us

1283. see that there were certain people. Cain

1284. was one of those. Balam was the other

1285. and Kora and the people of Kora. They

1286. had the privilege and the access to do

1287. what was right. They had the opportunity

1288. to fight and be a guardian of the

1289. threshold that was in front of them.

1290. They had the opportunity to see what God

1291. wanted to see. Cain did not sacrifice

1292. the same way that his brother did. He

1293. ended up going from the fruit of his

1294. works. He used his works to try to

1295. glorify God. And God did not ask for

1296. that. God asked for blood.

1297. >> Come on. Then you go on to Balum. And

1298. Balam sought after greed rather than

1299. seeking after the heart of God and what

1300. the Lord wanted. And you see Kora, they

1301. rebelled and they ended up being

1302. swallowed up by the earth. I'm telling

1303. you, the Bible's got some really cool

1304. stories. Come on. These are these are

1305. juicy. when you get back in the Old

1306. Testament like that and all these people

1307. they WATCH THIS THEY ALL HAD THE SAME

1308. ACCESS THAT EVERYBODY ELSE DID had the

1309. same access BUT WHAT THEY ENDED UP DOING

1310. WAS EITHER BEING SABOTAGED or watch this

1311. they self sabotaged what God had placed

1312. in their hand that was sacred

1313. >> and if we're not careful Jude is letting

1314. us know that there's a whole GENERATION

1315. THAT WILL SELF-SABOTAGE theirel if they

1316. don't wise up and see the hand of God

1317. >> I'll say this as As a church, we will

1318. not self-sabotage what God is doing.

  1319. >> Amen.

1320. >> That means I'm going to guard what God's

1321. doing. But I'm recruiting you tonight to

1322. help me guard the sacred thresholds that

1323. God's about to open over this house.

1324. Anybody ready to guard some things? Come

1325. on. I I just need This is my recruiting

1326. part right here. I just need to know if

1327. I got some folk. If you're ready to

1328. guard, I dare you to give God a little

  1329. praise right now.

1330. The fact is tonight every one of us have

1331. the same access. And so Jude was laying

1332. it out saying they self-sabotaged, but

  1333. you don't have to.

1334. God is placing the sacred in our hands,

1335. opening the threshold for US TO WALK

1336. ACROSS it by faith and see the glory and

1337. the power and the might and the majesty

1338. of God. But if we are not careful, we

1339. have the opportunity to either walk

1340. through it or self-sabotage and miss out

  1341. on what God has.

1342. >> I for one don't want to be swallowed up

  1343. in the earth.

  1344. >> Sounds uncomfortable.

  1345. >> Sounds a little rough. Come on. I I I

1346. don't want to be cast out and become a

  1347. vagabond like Cain. I don't I don't want

1348. to be all that. I want to be in the

1349. midst of the will of God for my life.

1350. But then I want you to see this. If

  1351. self-sabotage doesn't get us, false

1352. prophets will try to pull us away

1353. >> from what God has. Jude was very

1354. strategic because he knew there was a

1355. threshold people were about to walk

1356. across and God had ordained it. So he

1357. said, "Let's go ahead and identify." So

1358. let's continue on. We went through verse

1359. number 11. If you still got it, go to

1360. verse number 12 and let's see what it

1361. says. It says, "These false teachers are

1362. like dangerous hidden reefs at your love

1363. fest." Now, he when he said love fest in

1364. this translation, I want you to

1365. understand that's the gathering of the

1366. people of God. That's what that that's

1367. one thing that marks this house. If I've

1368. heard it once, I've heard it a thousand

1369. times from people that come to visit.

1370. They said, "I can really feel the love

1371. of God when I walk in that house."

1372. >> Cuz whether you want to or not, you

1373. about to get hugged. Can I get an amen?

1374. >> Somebody about to hug somebody up in

1375. this house. And if you if you missed

1376. your hug tonight, give it just a few

1377. more minutes when we release. I promise

1378. you, somebody gonna find you. They gonna

1379. hug you. It's going to be great because

1380. we genuinely love people. It's what God

1381. called us to do. Love like who? Like

1382. Jesus. He's called us to love like

1383. Jesus. So he was describing gathering of

1384. believers as love feasts. But watch

1385. this. He said they're like dangerous

1386. hidden reefs at your love feast. That

1387. means they've slipped in unaware.

1388. And he said this, watch this. lying in

1389. wait to shipwreck the immature.

1390. So, if we don't self- sabotage,

1391. there is a possibility the enemy will

1392. sneak in and try to sabotage what God

  1393. has for us.

1394. >> And he does it through false prophets

  1395. and false teachers.

1396. Now, this makes some people

  1397. uncomfortable

1398. because I'm going to say this. If they

1399. come declaring a different gospel

1400. than what was preached in this word and

1401. what comes across this pull pit from my

1402. ministers and myself, do not listen to

  1403. them.

  1404. >> Amen.

1405. >> Somebody comes to you and says, "I had a

1406. vision and an angel told me that this is

1407. the way we need to go and walk therein

1408. and it was contrary to what has been

1409. taught and preached across the pulpit."

1410. You look at them and say, "The devil is

1411. a liar and so are you.

  1412. Amen.

1413. >> Those are things you can't play games

1414. with because if you let that linger,

1415. your voice will be that that voice will

1416. be lent to your ear long enough to where

1417. it weighs you wears you down

1418. >> and then you'll end up getting in a

1419. place of compromise and not even

  1420. recognizing it. That's called a drift.

1421. You are drifting at that moment. We do

1422. not play games with false teachers.

  1423. >> Amen.

1424. >> Amen. And again, I know most of the

1425. criticism comes from the religious

1426. crowd. I'm just being honest. They may

1427. not like doctrine that I throw out. They

1428. may not like the way that I teach. They

1429. may not like the way that I preach. They

1430. may not like the way we have church. All

1431. these different things. But these are

1432. the things that God entrusted to us, the

1433. sacred things he gave to us through his

1434. word and through his promises. And we're

1435. going to guard that. If somebody comes

1436. in with some false teaching and they try

1437. to bring that in here, listen, I will

  1438. approach it head on.

  1439. I will

1440. because I have a responsibility to you

1441. as my flock, but also I have a

1442. responsibility to them that if I can

1443. correct them in love, maybe I can

  1444. redirect their life

1445. >> and I can say, "Hey, you you're in

1446. error. This is not okay doctrine. This

1447. is not right. Something you're going to

1448. lead people away from where you really

1449. want to lead them." Most false prophets

1450. don't start out saying, "Well, let's go

  1451. around and false prophesy."

1452. They they maybe a little greed or a

1453. twinge of greed gets in there and skws

1454. their doctrine a little bit and they end

1455. up going this way and before long it

1456. becomes that becomes their identity

1457. rather than the gospel becoming their

1458. identity and they've drawn people to a

1459. personality and to a gimmick rather than

  1460. the gospel.

1461. >> That's false prophet. If they are

1462. pulling you away from the gospel of

1463. Christ, I'm going to tell you somewhere

1464. in there there is some pride that's got

  1465. to be dealt with.

1466. They're not pointing you to Jesus, then

1467. they are not preaching the full gospel.

1468. >> That's why I'll say this and listen to

1469. me in love. Be careful who you watch on

  1470. Christian television.

  1471. >> Amen.

1472. >> Be careful who you follow on social

  1473. media.

  1474. Amen.

1475. Because here's the thing, the the danger

1476. in that is allowing that kind of stuff

1477. to get plant seeds in your heart. And at

  1478. first you're like, "Oh, I don't believe

1479. that." But if you keep visiting it and

1480. keep seeing it and keep seeing it and

1481. keep lending your ear to it, at some

1482. point you're gonna say, "Well, hey,

  1483. there's a little truth to that."

1484. >> And then the enemy is going to pull you

  1485. in.

1486. >> And you may never self- sabotage,

1487. but can I tell you, if you give the

1488. enemy a moment, or some people say if

1489. you give the enemy an inch, he'll take a

1490. mile, right? you you give him a little

1491. bit of your ear, he will sabotage what

1492. God has for you. Doctrine matters.

1493. It matters. It's it's important. We have

1494. to have a solidity of our faith because

1495. it's not even our faith. It was

1496. delivered to us from the apostles. It

1497. started with Christ. He handed to the

1498. apostles and they turned around handed

1499. to us. had one uh there was a there was

1500. a guy that um man he's been on a journey

1501. with the Holy Spirit uh for the past

1502. five years. Um we we had a chance to

1503. hear him speak and hear his heart and

1504. see his heart in reflection at Ruach uh

1505. not this past year but the year prior to

1506. um and he's pastor of one of the biggest

1507. churches in San Antonio. Um and it's it

1508. is a Baptist church and he showed up at

1509. Ruach, one of the most Holy Ghost fil

1510. conferences I've ever been in in my

1511. life. I'm talking like y'all like people

1512. swinging from the chandeliers. Like I'm

1513. serious. Like it's crazy. It gets wild

1514. up in there. It's wild. And the glory of

1515. God's being poured out and he's seeing

1516. all this happen. He gets up there does

1517. his spill. He teaches us. I mean just

1518. absolutely brilliant mind what the Holy

1519. Spirit poured through him. But then

1520. there was a moment in another service

1521. where he was there and the the Holy

1522. Ghost moved and there was an altar call

1523. to receive the power of the God. He

1524. walked off that platform and ran to the

  1525. altar himself.

1526. It was amazing. And watching that

1527. happen, watching that moment transpire

1528. in his heart. He in that moment, I

  1529. believe, had already been having a a a a

1530. a relationship and a journey with the

1531. Holy Spirit. But then what was so crazy

1532. is that this past week, I think it was

1533. last week, Bishop Wallace, who is the

1534. pastor there at RTTN where they have

1535. that conference, uh, one of the most

1536. dynamic Pentecostal preachers on the

1537. planet, went over and preached a revival

1538. night for the Baptist church.

1539. Oh yeah. And like when I'm saying like

1540. bro was breathing some fire, he was

1541. breathing some fire up in that house.

1542. But what was so crazy is this great man

1543. of God stood up there and he said, "I've

1544. been on a journey with the Holy Spirit

1545. for the past five years." He said, "So

1546. the the languages that I've heard y'all

1547. talk about." He said, "I am seeking

1548. after that myself." He said, "But as for

1549. this house," he said, "I'm going to go

1550. and tell you." He said, "We submit to

1551. the Father. We submit to the Son." He

1552. said, "I'm going to go and let you know

1553. we submit to the power of the Holy

1554. Spirit in this house." the

1555. transformation that took place in that

1556. moment. Looking at it from face value,

1557. people would say, "Well, that's just

1558. something else that's happening." No,

1559. that is a heart that has got hungry for

1560. the presence of God and says, "I don't

1561. care what religion says. I don't care

1562. what walls are being put around my

1563. life." And I'm going to tell you, you

1564. better watch out. It's not going to

1565. flow, and I'm going to say this. It's

1566. not going to necessarily flow in

1567. mainline denominations. It's going to

1568. flow in places where the power of God is

1569. welcome. And they do not care about

1570. man-made religion, but they say, "Holy

1571. Spirit, do what you want to do." I I

1572. don't know about you, but how many

1573. interested in saying, "Let our church be

1574. in that river." When it happened, I want

1575. to be in that river. I want to

1576. experience everything God has for my

  1577. life.

1578. >> Now, I I was in part of the scripture.

1579. Uh the the shipwreck that Thank you.

1580. Wait. It's lying in a wait to shipwreck

1581. the immature. And And I Let me see how

1582. much time I got. Oh, okay. I gota hurry.

1583. They feast among you without reverence,

1584. having no shepherd but themselves.

1585. They are clouds with no rain,

1586. swept along by the winds, like fruitless

1587. late autumn trees. Trees that should be

  1588. bearing some fruit.

1589. Trees that should be recognizable by the

1590. fruit hanging on their tree, but they

1591. have no fruit hanging on their tree. I

1592. want you to see this. That shepherds who

1593. care for only themselves, they submit

1594. their souls to no one.

  1595. Here, here's what I know. I know where

1596. someone's heart posture is. When when I

1597. when I come to them and I approach them

1598. as a watchman on the wall and I say,

1599. "Hey, look, this can happen one of two

1600. ways. I can let you continue on and I'll

1601. have blood on my hands or I can come to

1602. you in the heart of a shepherd and say,

1603. "Hey, listen. I see some things." I know

1604. where their heart is at in in in one

1605. word if they say, "Pastor, I submit to

  1606. whatever you decide."

1607. You say that happens. Oh, yeah. Some of

1608. y'all getting like tight in the honey

1609. right now. Do you say that? They chewing

1610. that seed up. Do you really have them

1611. conversations with people? Absolutely I

1612. do. I'm here to guard your soul.

1613. >> Because God has such a great potential

1614. for your life. But can I tell you,

1615. sometimes the enemy will try to sabotage

1616. that. And sometimes we will

  1617. self-sabotage.

1618. >> I want you to embrace everything God has

1619. for your life. So if I see something,

  1620. I'm gonna say something.

1621. >> Not because I hate you. Not because I'm

1622. trying to bel because I love you enough

1623. to say, "Hey, listen. There's some

1624. things we got to deal with this. We got

  1625. to deal with this.

1626. Now, keep going. They are clouds with no

1627. rain. Swept along by the winds like

1628. fruitless late autumn trees." I like

1629. this next part. They are twice dead.

1630. >> Um, so they are dead in appearance

1631. and they're dead in reality.

1632. >> They look dead and inside they are dead.

1633. Dead through and through. Somebody say

  1634. twice dead.

1635. >> What we talking about, pastor? We're

1636. talking about false teachers. Watch

1637. this. And watch this. plucked up by the

  1638. roots.

1639. They have no source other than

  1640. themselves.

1641. >> They are trying to self- sustain. And we

1642. know when people try to self- sustain,

1643. they do crazy things and try to grab for

1644. everything. Anything that can come.

  1645. Misery loves company.

1646. >> And if they going to be miserable, I'm

1647. dragging everybody else down with me.

1648. That sounds an awful lot like Satan.

1649. >> He knows where his eternity is. Come on.

1650. He's got no qu He believes better than

1651. most people in churches today what

1652. eternity is going to look like.

1653. >> I'm trying not to preach right now. I

1654. got to calm down a little bit because

1655. I'm going to tell you, he believes it.

1656. But I'm going to tell you in this house,

1657. we've got to get back to the place that

1658. we really believe eternity is real.

1659. There there's a drift in the body of

1660. Christ in America that is trying to say

  1661. hell is not a real place. There's a

1662. drift in the body of Christ right now

1663. that's trying to say the word of God is

1664. not completely accurate. That there are

1665. falsities in the word of God. There is

1666. that drift that is going around even

1667. mainline churches where they have they

1668. have walked away from the totality and

1669. the inherency of the word of God. But

1670. I'm gonna tell you in the name of Jesus

1671. in this house I'm going to believe what

1672. the book says. I'm going to preach what

1673. the book says. I'm going to read it for

1674. myself. I'm going to digest it for

1675. myself. And here's what I'll say to you.

1676. Read the book. Read the book. Get in the

1677. book. Get in his presence and let him

1678. touch your heart and touch your life.

1679. And then you'll be able to see false

1680. prophets for who they are.

1681. You won't have to wonder.

1682. >> Let's keep going because he really he

1683. really throws them down. This is good

1684. stuff. They are wild waves of the sea

1685. flinging out the foam of their shame and

  1686. disgrace.

  1687. Watch you weirdos.

1688. They are misleading like wandering

  1689. stars.

1690. For whom? Watch this. The complete

1691. darkness of eternal gloom has been

  1692. reserved.

1693. False. People that will people that will

1694. try to sabotage somebody else's destiny

1695. in God from getting across the sacred

1696. threshold. Can I tell you that they have

1697. a complete darkness of eternal gloom

1698. that is reserved just for them?

  1699. That's pretty That's pretty significant.

1700. I'm being honest. That makes me check

1701. myself before I come out here and wreck

1702. myself. Can I get an amen?

1703. >> Check yourself before you preach the

1704. word of God. You check yourself before

1705. you teach the word of God. And make sure

1706. there's no hidden agenda or motive in

1707. there that would lead people astray.

  1708. That's why this is a weighty thing. It's

1709. why I say if you're called to preach,

1710. I'm gonna try my best to talk you out of

  1711. it.

1712. Because I have to answer for every idle

1713. word I say. Think about that. Every

1714. message I preach, everywhere I go and

1715. preach, every person I witness to, I

1716. have to answer to that on a higher level

1717. than everybody else does. It is a

1718. weighty thing. I don't come in here just

1719. this is not for my health.

1720. I promise you that. It is not for my

1721. health. But it's because I stink and

1722. love you. I love this house. I love your

  1723. families.

1724. I love this church. I love the church. I

1725. really do love the church. I want, like

1726. I said, I want every church to prosper.

1727. I want I want every church to not carry

1728. any debt. I want every church to carry

1729. the glory of God. I want every church to

1730. be uh just, man, baptized in fire and

1731. power. I want that to happen because

1732. that's how we're going to see the

1733. kingdom of God move forward. That's how

1734. we're going to see it. So, he's talking

1735. about these these false teachers and we

1736. have to be able to readily recognize

1737. them. And the only way to readily

1738. recognize them, you have to stay in the

1739. word for yourself. You have to. So, h

1740. how can we combat this, pastor? What is

1741. it going to look like to be a guardian?

1742. All right, give me 10 minutes.

1743. Number one, keep building up your inner

1744. life on the foundation of faith. Keep

1745. building up your inner life, your soul,

1746. your spirit man on the foundation of

  1747. faith.

1748. Foundation of faith. This is this is

1749. this is all taken from verses 17 through

1750. 23 where he gave us clear instructions a

1751. call to remain faithful in the house of

1752. God to remain faithful because he said

1753. the last days are here. People are going

1754. to be motivated by all kinds of ungodly

1755. desires but we have to stay in the life

1756. of the spirit as a believer. He said but

1757. you in verse number 20 you my

  1758. delightfully loved friends constantly

1759. and progressively build yourselves up on

1760. the foundation of your most holy faith.

1761. We have to be faithful to the house and

1762. faithful to the word and faithful to his

1763. presence every single day. I don't mean

1764. to be so elementary tonight, but my

1765. question is, do you get in his word

  1766. every single day?

1767. What what does faithfulness mean to you?

1768. The stats, and we talked about this, and

1769. I'll I'll reiterate them one more time.

1770. When you do one, two, or three days a

1771. week in the word of God, there's not a

1772. significant shift in your life. But the

1773. moment you transition from three days a

1774. week in the word of God to four days a

1775. week, man, the numbers skyrocket of

1776. peace and and being able to resist

1777. temptation. I mean, it goes

1778. astronomically by 200% sometimes that

1779. the grace of God rests on you to follow

1780. what you're reading because it becomes

1781. something more than a duty or a task to

1782. check off on a checklist. It becomes

1783. part of our walk and part of our daily

1784. life. And I think that's what the writer

1785. is saying. He's saying we've got to

1786. build oursel up in our innermost faith

1787. on the foundation of the faith of God.

1788. We've got to keep showing up and we've

1789. got to believe what the gospel says.

1790. We've got to believe what the apostles

1791. entrusted to us and say we will not shy

1792. away from that. We believe in the power

1793. of God. That's number one. Build

1794. building keep building up your inner

1795. life on the foundation of faith. Number

1796. two, pray in the Holy Ghost.

1797. Come on, somebody. Pray in the Holy

1798. Ghost. If you're filled with the power

1799. of God, you're filled with the spirit of

1800. God, you have baptized in the Holy

1801. Ghost, you ought to be praying in the

  1802. spirit every single day.

  1803. Amen.

1804. Pray in the spirit every day. Not like

1805. one day a week. Not like on Sunday when

1806. pastor says, "Hey, if you're if you're

1807. filled with the spirit, pray in the

  1808. spirit."

1809. Man, you guys are really quiet. quiet

  1810. for

1811. looking at me like a calf at a new gate.

1812. Wait, we are Pentecostal, right? We

1813. believe in the power of the Holy Ghost.

1814. We believe in being baptized in the Holy

1815. Ghost. We're going to get there. Here's

1816. what I'm going to tell you. We have to

1817. make up our mind to do it every single

1818. day. It is a gift that was given to us.

1819. >> It's not a gift that is earned. You

1820. cannot earn this. You cannot You cannot

  1821. I I remember I'm, you know, I'm from old

1822. school, man. When we see people come

1823. down to get baptized in the Holy Ghost,

1824. man, you have one person on one side,

1825. Brother Tommy, and they're saying,

1826. THEY'RE SAYING, "HANG ON, HANG ON." AND

1827. ON THE OTHER SIDE, TURN LOOSE. TURN

1828. LOOSE. You know, when you don't know

1829. what to do and where to go. It's not

1830. it's not complicated. You cannot force

1831. your way into being baptized in the Holy

  1832. Ghost.

1833. >> It is a gift from the Lord.

1834. >> Intercession is one thing. And we will

  1835. intercede. When people need

1836. intercession, yes, we will get there,

1837. and we will cry with them, and we will

1838. fight with them, and we will pray for

1839. them. I do not belittle that in any

  1840. means, but I think there's been a

1841. confusion in it that we feel like we can

1842. earn the Holy Ghost. You cannot earn the

1843. Holy Ghost. It is a gift that's already

1844. been given to you. And if you're saved,

1845. the Holy Spirit is already on the inside

1846. of you. Come on. You cannot be saved

1847. unless the spirit of God is there. But

1848. being baptized in the Holy Ghost is a

1849. whole another level. Can I get an amen?

1850. >> I've got my own theories about that.

1851. James talks about your tongue being the

1852. most unruly member of your body. And

1853. people always ask me, "Pastor, why why

1854. is speaking in tongues the initial

1855. physical evidence?" Let's go ahead and

1856. just get that out in the open tonight

1857. and let's talk about the Holy Ghost for

  1858. a second. You'll say, "Well, I I have

1859. the gift. I have the I have the evidence

1860. of of the spirit of God. I speak in

1861. tongues." No, baby. That is the initial

1862. evidence. That's just the start of

1863. things. You ought to have some love. You

1864. ought to have some joy. You ought to

1865. have some Come on. You ought to be kind

1866. to people. There's all kinds of things

1867. that are going on, but I have my own

1868. theories and my own thoughts about it.

1869. James said, "Your tongue is the most

1870. unruly member of your body." So, if I am

1871. in control of my tongue, then I'm

1872. probably gonna say some things I regret.

1873. I'm gonna do some things that probably

1874. aren't right. But the moment I yield to

1875. the Holy Spirit and let him have my

1876. tongue, and I begin to speak in another

1877. heavenly in a heavenly language, can I

1878. tell you, then he becomes in control,

1879. the third member of the Godhead, and I

1880. am more often than not going not going

1881. to say something that's going to

1882. disgrace God when I am filled with the

1883. power of the Holy Spirit. So, I'm going

1884. to tell you, there's some folks in here

1885. tonight that you have not been filled

1886. with the power of the Holy Ghost. But

1887. I'm telling you, before the end of 2026,

1888. you are going to speak in tongues and

1889. you're going to operate in the gifts of

1890. the spirit. You're going to display the

1891. fruit of the spirit. We're going to

1892. bring back Pentecost the way it should

  1893. be. And I believe God's Come on. I

1894. BELIEVE GOD'S GOING to fill us with

1895. power and might glory in this house.

1896. >> Pray in the spirit.

1897. >> I don't have time to dive into all that,

1898. but write these scriptures down if you

1899. want to write them down. Romans 8:26 is

    Romans 8:26

1900. a good one when it comes to speaking in

  1901. tonesues.

  1902. 1 Corinthians 14, Ephesians chapter 6,

    Ephesians 6 chapter mention

1903. you can go through all these and talk.

1904. It talks about the power of the Holy

1905. Spirit and speaking in tonesues. And

1906. that is right. And we must pray in the

1907. Holy Spirit. But there are another

1908. definitions of praying in the spirit.

1909. You pray as led by the Holy Spirit.

1910. >> Sometimes we stand up and we look at

1911. people and we say, "I feel the Holy

1912. Spirit lead me to pray for you over

1913. this." That is the power of God. You

1914. can't just run around everywhere

1915. speaking in tongues over people. They

  1916. gonna get weirded out.

1917. >> Sometimes you got to look at them and

1918. say, "The Holy Spirit told me that your

1919. marriage is on the rocks and I'm here to

  1920. pray for you."

1921. >> The Holy Spirit said, "You got a

1922. diagnosis three weeks ago that ain't

1923. nobody know about but you and your

1924. doctor and I've said I've stepped up

1925. here and I've went on a limb and I'm say

1926. I'm going to pray for you and I believe

1927. for healing." That is being led by the

  1928. Holy Spirit.

  1929. >> That's beautiful. It's being led by the

1930. Holy Spirit. You pray. Another way is

1931. pray in the spirit's realm. You pray in

  1932. heavenly places.

1933. You pray. That's those times when the

1934. Holy Spirit wakes you up in the middle

1935. of the night and you got somebody on

1936. your mind. You don't even know why. And

1937. you just go to war. You start praying

1938. for them. You don't know what they're

1939. facing. You don't want temptation. And

1940. you pray by means of and power of the

1941. Holy Spirit. It's important that we pray

1942. in the power of the Holy Spirit. Third

1943. thing I want to talk about if we're

1944. going to be guardians, this is something

1945. else. You have to fasten your life to

1946. the love of God. Fasten your life to the

1947. love of God. That's what the scripture

1948. says. He says, "Fasten your hearts to

1949. the love of God." And he said this, "And

1950. receive the mercy of the Lord Jesus

1951. Christ who gives us eternal life." These

1952. are two in one. We fasten ourselves and

1953. our life to the love of God. This is a

1954. direct result of number one and number

1955. two being in our foundation of faith.

1956. But praying in the spirit, it allows us

1957. to be fashioned and formed and fastened

1958. to the love of God. I want you to

1959. understand we do everything in love.

1960. >> Everything we do is in love. Every word

1961. we say, every deed we do, every thought

1962. we think, and every action we take is in

  1963. lov.

1964. >> We have to operate in love. Because when

1965. I am when I am walking in that faith and

1966. I'm praying in the Holy Spirit, I have

1967. no choice but to be tied to the love of

  1968. God.

1969. If I'm if my motives are right and my

1970. heart is right and my inspiration is

1971. right, then I watch this. I will be tied

1972. to his love. The second four fourth

1973. thing I want to talk about is we will

1974. receive more mercy from our Lord Jesus

1975. Christ. He said that and you receive the

1976. mercy of the Lord Jesus Christ who gives

1977. us eternal life. As you and I are

1978. fastened the love of God to God's love,

1979. we will be awaiting mercy because we

  1980. have sown mercy first.

1981. When we sow it, we're going to reap it.

1982. Going to receive it. Bible says you reap

  1983. what you sow.

1984. Sow mercy, you're going to reap mercy.

1985. You sow wrath, you're going to reap

1986. wrath. You sow judgment, you're going to

1987. reap judgment. But if you sow mercy, you

1988. will reap mercy. And if you also sow

1989. righteousness, you're going to reap

1990. mercy on the other side of that, too.

1991. Hosea 10:12 says, "Sow for yourself

    Hosea 10:12

1992. righteousness, and you will reap him

1993. mercy. break up your fow ground, for it

1994. is time to seek the Lord till he comes

1995. and reigns righteousness on you. We walk

1996. in righteousness, we're going to receive

1997. righteousness on the other side of that.

1998. That's the grace of God. Number five,

1999. have compassion on the ones who are

  2000. still wavering.

  2001. Have compassion.

  2002. Compassion and patience

2003. probably work together in this.

2004. And this is where I this is where I

2005. live. And I I I used to do youth

2006. ministry and it was really hard to have

2007. compassion and patience on young people.

2008. Sometimes you wanted to drop the bow

2009. right on top of their head. Want to put

2010. them in a headlock and say, "Maybe if I

2011. crack your noggin open, I can pour it

2012. all in there and it'll work."

2013. You know, but you I I learned in that

2014. moment that not everybody came from the

2015. same background that I came from.

2016. >> Not everybody was raised in church like

2017. I was raised in church.

2018. >> Not everybody has had the experience

2019. with the Holy Spirit that I have had. So

2020. I cannot hold them accountable for

2021. something they know nothing about.

2022. >> This is where we have to be. This is

2023. where compassion comes in. When we bring

2024. people in that are unchurched and we

2025. bring people in that are in those

2026. categories, the whosoever wills, come

2027. on. And the all that God wants to come

2028. in and be part of this house, can I tell

2029. you, you cannot hold them to the same

2030. standard you held yourself to.

2031. Because the moment you do that, you're

2032. going to criticize and look down your

  2033. nose at them.

  2034. And that's not okay.

2035. >> We can't do that. We have to be able to

2036. look at them and say, "You know what? If

2037. you haven't got it all together yet,

  2038. that's perfectly fine. I've got

2039. compassion. Let me help you walk this

  2040. thing out.

2041. Let me help you walk it out. Because

2042. I'll be honest, if we show mercy to

2043. those who are still undecided and

2044. confused, watch this. Grace is the key.

2045. And I'll say this. I think we need to

2046. offer to others the same grace we wish

2047. we had when we started.

2048. >> Come on. How many can say, "I wish

2049. somebody would have been a little more

2050. gracious with me when I started my walk

2051. with the Lord." Come on. It's just I'm

2052. you being honest. Some of you may had

2053. the perfect scenario and everybody's

2054. like, "Oh yeah, I got you, baby. I'll

2055. carry you the whole way." You know, but

2056. not always like that. Always like that.

2057. I understand pushing people out the

2058. nest. Sometimes you got to do that. So,

  2059. hey, look, you've been you've been

2060. drinking that bottle for 47 years. It's

  2061. time to get up.

  2062. Come on.

2063. You been if you've been saved for like

2064. 10 plus years and man, you still making

2065. no progress, you going to come to the

2066. principal's office. Come on. We gonna

2067. talk about this thing. It's time to grow

2068. up. It's time to mature in your faith.

2069. >> Because immature believers that exist

2070. and hang around like that, they gonna

  2071. cause problems.

  2072. I'm

2073. >> just I'm just telling you truth. So, I'm

2074. going to help you try to mature and

2075. we're going to do it. Holy Spirit, if

2076. you've been in this environment, man,

2077. you've had a chance to mature. Can I get

  2078. a amen?

2079. >> But if we're not careful, sometimes we

2080. will condemn in other people what we

  2081. condone in oursel

  2082. >> because oh, I'm I'm saved.

  2083. I'm sanctified, pastor.

2084. If you knew my pedigree, you wouldn't

2085. know that it's okay for me to flub every

  2086. once in a while.

2087. God's got grace on me because my great

  2088. great great great

2089. grandfather preached the gospel. Well,

  2090. bless your little heart.

2091. If it only worked that way, we can grab

2092. the coattail and go on. That'd be great.

2093. It don't work that way. It is your walk

  2094. with the Lord.

2095. It is your walk with the Lord. You are

2096. responsible. Bible says, "Work out your

2097. own soul's salvation with fear and

  2098. trembling."

2099. That means I I thank God for heritage.

  2100. Ain't nothing I ain't making fun of

  2101. that. I'm just saying I can't I can't

2102. get into heaven off of what happened 37

  2103. years ago.

2104. It it's got to be fresh right now. And

2105. the opportunity is there. As long as we

  2106. don't self-sabotage

2107. and as long as we don't end up like Kora

  2108. him in rebellion,

2109. as long as we don't bring the gift that

2110. God didn't say bring like Cain, right?

2111. We we we we can be in a place where we

2112. understand his grace and his mercy. But

2113. we have to have compassion on people.

2114. Now, um number whatever I don't even

2115. know what number is. Um six. Thank you.

  2116. Thank you.

2117. Share the gospel with the lost.

2118. Do you want to be a You want to be a

2119. guardian of the threshold? Share the

  2120. gospel with the lost.

2121. Let them know that Jesus can redeem

2122. them. And and don't limit it to, hey,

2123. come to church with me. Go a step

2124. further than that. That's good. Get them

2125. in the house because God's going to

2126. touch them. And that that is part of

2127. evangelism, bringing them to the family

2128. of God because they need the family of

2129. God. But if that's the only place that

2130. we hang our hat on, we say, "Well, I

2131. just get them there and pastor will tell

  2132. them about Jesus."

  2133. Right? I don't mind that. I will because

2134. I love people. But hey, you are just as

2135. capable of doing that as I am.

  2136. Amen.

2137. You say, "Well, pastor, I don't have all

2138. those scriptures memorized like you do."

2139. That's all right. You ain't got to. Just

  2140. memorize John 3:16

    John 3:16

2141. >> and tell them there was one time that I

2142. I did not like this. I did not want to

2143. submit to the love of God. But let me

2144. tell you something. God so loved this

2145. world that he sent his only son. He

2146. saved my life. He redeemed me. And I'm

2147. thankful that I submitted to him and he

2148. changed my life forever. It wasn't a

  2149. church. It was Jesus.

  2150. >> Jesus changed me.

2151. >> And let me tell you that is your

2152. testimony. That that is the power. Watch

2153. this. It's the difference between

2154. activated faith and stagnant faith. He

2155. said,"For I am not ashamed of the gospel

2156. of Jesus Christ, for it is the power of

2157. God." You want to see the power of God,

  2158. share the gospel.

  2159. >> Amen.

2160. >> I know we we are spoiled in here because

2161. we get to see the power of God

2162. manifested on people and we get to see

2163. people take off running around this

2164. place and shouting and dancing and all

2165. that. And that's beautiful and just as

2166. perfectly in order as anything else that

2167. would take place in this house. It is

2168. wonderful. But that is not the only

2169. display of the power of God.

  2170. >> That's right.

2171. >> When you share what God did for you, the

2172. power of God will be in that moment.

2173. >> Because if the gospel's not enough, then

  2174. nothing will work.

  2175. >> Don't complicate it. Don't add red tape

2176. to it. And and I'm trying to be very

2177. patient in this because I do want to get

2178. this into us tonight because if we're

2179. going to guard the sacred thresholds

2180. God's given us, we're going to be

2181. guardians of we got to know how to do

2182. this thing. Got to know how to do this

2183. thing. And I know I'm throwing a lot of

2184. information at you, but I'm gonna say

2185. this. Don't fear what man can do to you.

2186. >> Say, "Well, somebody may make fun of me

  2187. if I if I if I flub up or I mess

  2188. something up or I I misquote a

  2189. scripture." That's all right. I'd rather

2190. have somebody laugh at me in an attempt

  2191. to save their life

  2192. >> than I would one day

2193. >> have to look at them and say, "I'm sorry

  2194. I didn't tell you about Jesus."

2195. >> Because that that really brings it down

2196. right there to it. The the truth of the

2197. matter is eternity, heaven is real and

2198. it is splendid and it is beautiful and

2199. it is awesome and it is that the Bible

2200. says a half has not yet been told. We

2201. don't even know how grandeur it is. It

2202. is going to be absolutely amazing. But

2203. let me tell you, just as real as heaven

2204. is, hell is real, too. And people are on

2205. their way there. But you have the

2206. anecdote to that. You can tell them

2207. about Jesus and tell them about the

2208. power of the gospel. And he can

2209. transform them just like that. You have

2210. that authority. God gave you that. He

2211. gave you the ministry of reconciliation.

2212. Did you know that? Each one of us, we're

2213. ambassadors for Christ. Everywhere you

2214. go, you are an ambassador for Christ.

2215. Reconciling people that have been broken

2216. and disconnected by sin back to a loving

2217. God through the power of the gospel.

  2218. That's it. That's our assignment. There

2219. it is. And that's how we protect the

2220. threshold. The last thing and then I'm

2221. I'm going to hush, I think. Maybe. Oh,

  2222. it's 803. You're welcome, Pastor Danny.

2223. I gave you a few more minutes.

2224. The last thing, if we're going to be

2225. guardians of thresholds, we have to hate

2226. any compromise that will stain our life.

2227. Have to hate any compromise. Bible even

2228. says it like this. Hate even the garment

2229. of the pollution of the flesh.

2230. If your flesh is going to pollute you,

2231. you've got to hate whatever that is

2232. that's trying to bring pollution to your

  2233. heart. Again, not people,

2234. but the flesh, the works of the flesh

2235. that will try to pollute you.

2236. It means I'm not going to hate people

2237. because I'm not battling against flesh

2238. and blood but against principalities.

2239. But if it's something trying to attach

2240. itself to my life, I have to say no to

2241. it. He said it like this. He said, "Be

2242. extremely careful to keep yourselves

2243. free from the pollutions of the flesh."

2244. Now, if if if Jude, Judah, whatever you

2245. want to call him, if he was able to look

2246. at us in this moment through the

2247. scripture and tell us to be extremely

2248. careful, not like just be careful, be

2249. extremely careful, then there are

  2250. dangers ahead of us.

2251. There are dangers to try to get us to

2252. compromise our position to guard the

2253. threshold. Not guard it as in you get to

2254. get in and you can't,

2255. >> but guard it as in I'm going to keep

2256. this door open and the enemy is not

  2257. going to shut it.

2258. >> I keep myself pure. What does the

2259. scripture say? We do all we can do to

2260. bring others to Christ, but not at the

2261. expense of becoming like the world in

  2262. ignoring sin.

2263. Everything we can do to bring people to

2264. Jesus, but I refuse to ignore sin. Sin

2265. is the pollution agent that will bring

2266. stains to our life so that when Christ

2267. sees us, he will see the stain of sin

2268. and not the precious blood of Jesus

  2269. Christ.

2270. That's why the writer said, "Be

  2271. extremely

  2272. careful."

2273. Well, slow down right here and say this.

2274. In this house, we will not ignore sin.

2275. I will not, as your pastor, ignore sin.

2276. We and watch this. We will not even

2277. pacify sin or sinful behaviors.

  2278. Amen.

2279. >> People may want me to. Well, pat me on

2280. the back and tell me I'm lovely. No. I

2281. love you. Get it right.

  2282. >> Amen.

2283. >> You have some If you're butting heads

2284. with somebody in the church, get it

  2285. right.

2286. >> I'll say it like this. I love you.

2287. Everybody in the room with the exception

2288. of a few, you are grown tail adults and

  2289. you can get along.

  2290. Amen.

2291. >> Just being honest. Start to bring some

2292. of that stuff up in here and start to

2293. bring drama up in my life. Uh-uh. No

2294. sir. No, sir. I got enough drama. I got

2295. I got four girls at the house. Come on,

2296. somebody. I got plenty of drama in my

  2297. life.

  2298. >> I don't need no extra.

  2299. >> I don't I don't need that to resolve

  2300. your problems.

2301. I ain't worried about all that. There

2302. are times when we have to navigate

2303. relationships and I get it. We have to

2304. have correction and we have to have

2305. direction. We have to have grace and I

2306. understand all those things. But let me

2307. tell you something. If it's in your

2308. power to fix it, fix it.

2309. Bible says as much as in you is live

  2310. peaceibly with all men.

2311. >> If it ain't a hill worth dying on, then

  2312. quit climbing it.

  2313. Amen.

2314. >> Relationships come and relationships go.

2315. I was thinking about the other day, man,

2316. I ain't seen but maybe like three people

  2317. I graduated with as I graduated.

  2318. Holy smokes.

  2319. 20 years ago. Over 21. Hey, that's

  2320. wrong.

  2321. Well, I'm sad. See y'all later. I'm out.

  2322. I ain't seen them. I ain't seen them.

2323. Don't get hung up on what you lost. Look

2324. at what you have that remains.

2325. >> And the Bible talks about that.

  2326. Strengthen what remains.

2327. >> Scripture speaks on that. If it's still

2328. there, it's still in the house. It's

2329. meant for the season. If it's not there,

2330. it's not meant for this season.

  2331. Friendships can be seasonal.

  2332. >> They can be.

  2333. >> Amen.

  2334. >> It's just truth. I mean, it's not

2335. negative. And some people just move on

2336. and you know that is they may move

2337. across the country. Well, I see them all

2338. the time. That's okay. But we will not

  2339. pacify sinful behavior

2340. and we will not justify sinful behavior.

2341. If you're, you know, I've had people try

2342. to do that and I again, they come to me

2343. and thinking, well, if I can just

2344. convince pastor that it's okay for me to

2345. do this, then I got a free ticket to do

  2346. it.

2347. If the Bible says it's sin, I'm not

2348. going to justify it. I'm just not.

2349. I'm not. If it says no, then no. You

2350. know, you answer to God for yourself.

2351. That's fine. But I want to line up to

2352. the word because I want to be blessed. I

2353. want my life to be blessed. I want to

  2354. live in peace.

  2355. I

2356. >> live in the grace of God. And here's the

2357. thing, we all can. We can do two things

2358. at one time. We can live in peace in the

2359. presence of God. And we can guard the

2360. sacred thresholds that God gives us so

2361. that we have access, our family has

2362. access, and the ones that are about to

2363. walk through those doors next, they have

  2364. access, too.

2365. >> We can do all of it at the same time.

2366. So, everybody stand to your feet.

2367. Everybody stand. I was going to get

2368. really violent during that time and

2369. start yelling and screaming, but I

  2370. changed my mind.

2371. But I will say what I was going to say

2372. in this. You don't play with sin.

2373. Because the longer you let that snake

2374. hang around, it's going to bite you at

  2375. some point.

2376. >> We We don't play with it. We kill it. I

  2377. don't like snakes.

2378. >> All of them. They all d stupid and I

2379. don't like them. They all need to die.

2380. Every one of them. If I see them and I

2381. think that maybe they're already dead,

  2382. I'll kill them again

2383. just in case. Y'all know how them snakes

2384. do. You chop off that head, man. That

2385. body's still moving. What in the world?

2386. The devil is a liar. My god. There was

2387. one time we were out by our little creek

2388. at the house and there was a a moccasin

2389. that we was out there by the fire and

  2390. it's literally like I mean it's like

2391. three feet from that and Yla was on that

2392. side and the creek was right there back

2393. and I saw it swimming up the creek and I

2394. was like, "Oh my god." I was like,

2395. "Layla, come over here. Get over here."

2396. So I ran back in the house and I got my

2397. 9 millimeter and I came out there, baby.

2398. It was like all out war. I was like,

2399. I know I hit it. I hit it several times.

2400. and crawled over on the other side of

2401. the creek and died over on your side and

2402. crawled over there and died. And you

2403. know, I was like, if I had more bullets,

2404. I'd shoot it some more.

2405. I'd shoot it some more cuz I wanted to

2406. die. But but we have to have the same

2407. mentality when it comes to sinful

  2408. behavior.

2409. Because all sinful behavior is trying to

2410. do to our life is sabotage

2411. where we're about to step on Sunday.

2412. the blessings that are on the other side

  2413. of obedience.

2414. The blessings of the strength and the

2415. power and the provision and the healing

2416. that's on the other side of obedience.

2417. Can I tell you that it is worth killing

2418. every ounce of sin, killing every ounce

2419. of pride, killing every ounce of

2420. selfishness in our heart and saying,

2421. "God, set me up to be right in the

  2422. middle of your will."

2423. >> So hear my heart tonight. Get it under

2424. the blood. If there's sin existing in

2425. your heart tonight, we can get it under

2426. the blood and we can make it right with

2427. the Lord. Do not let your garment be

2428. stained by sin. Do not let it be stained

  2429. by sin.

2430. How do we earnestly contend for the

  2431. faith? Don't allow sin, don't allow

2432. religion, don't allow compromise to

2433. block the threshold for us or for those

  2434. that are next.

  2435. >> And I'm going to challenge you. There's

2436. two verses at the end of the uh book of

  2437. Jude, 24 and 25. I'm I'm gonna challenge

2438. you. I'm gonna add a little reading to

2439. you tonight. Go home and read those last

2440. two verses and watch how powerful and

2441. how great your God is. The character of

2442. God on display, the mighty character of

2443. God that's on display in those two

2444. verses will give you strength to know,

2445. you know what? If I make this choice,

  2446. that's who's got my back.

2447. People may walk away from me, but guess

2448. what? He has my back.

2449. >> Amen. Anybody receive anything from that

2450. tonight? Anybody ready to be a guardian

  2451. of the threshold? Amen.
