Praise the Lord. Amen. Look at your
-
neighbor. Say, "You look good tonight."
-
>> You look good.
-
>> You look good tonight. Amen. And we want
-
to visit just a little bit tonight and
-
just uh give God glory and give him
-
praise for all his goodness and his
-
mercy uh over our hearts and our lives.
-
And we're certainly thankful. Um I'm
-
just telling you, God is doing
-
incredible things in this house. And uh
-
if you were here on Sunday, wow, what a
-
day. Amen.
-
And if you weren't, too bad, so sad. We
-
enjoyed it without you. Come on. I see
-
Sean Elbow and Jenny over there, but
-
it's okay. Uh, I'm telling you, man, God
-
did some incredible things in the house.
-
The house was packed. I'm telling you,
-
it was just from front to back. Even in
-
the balcony, had folks there. And uh,
-
I'm say this right here. On Sunday, back
-
in the back over all of our kids
-
classes, we had 73 kids on Sunday. Amen.
-
Can we give God praise for that?
-
absolutely incredible. Um I just blown
-
away by God's goodness and his mercy.
-
And uh I'll just say it like this. We
-
hadn't seen nothing yet. Amen. God's
-
going to continue to add and do great
-
things inside of this house. Um this is
-
one thing that I wanted to kick back
-
off. We talked about this last uh last
-
Wednesday night uh with our our first
-
stint going into the this new year 2026.
-
on Wednesday nights, I wanted to offer
-
an opportunity for you to give to the
-
Lord because I I'm just, you know, I was
-
raised old school. Every time you come
-
to church, you you brought something,
-
you brought a gift, you brought a an
-
offering, whatever that looked like. And
-
listen, no pressure to anybody. You
-
don't have to do this, but for those of
-
you who feel that way, I want to open up
-
this chance for us to be able to give uh
-
to the Lord tonight. So, what we're
-
going to do is we're just going to set a
-
basket up here up front. Thank you,
-
Pastor Robbie. Um, and if you feel led
-
to do that, you just do that right here
-
as we're going through scriptures in the
-
beginning. And I know the Lord will
-
bless you. So, I'm going to pray a
-
blessing over it. Uh, for those that do
-
feel led to give, that God will bless
-
you and continue to strengthen you. So,
-
Father, thank you for this opportunity
-
we have to give. Thank you, Lord, for uh
-
what this house means and represents
-
inside of our lives. And Lord, tonight
-
as we sew, God, I pray that you would
-
give it back to us, pressed down, shaken
-
together, running over, Lord, that it
-
would produce a harvest of souls, Lord,
-
for your kingdom and for your glory and
-
your honor. Lord, we thank you for the
-
opportunity to bring an offering to you
-
in Jesus name. Amen and amen. God is so
-
incredibly good. God bless you um as you
-
give in the kingdom of the Lord tonight.
-
I know he will bless you. I I want to uh
-
tonight I want to continue uh with our
-
talk on the threshold. Somebody holler
-
threshold.
-
>> Threshold.
-
>> We talked about this. This is the year
-
of sacred thresholds and uh we are
-
stepping across some this year. Uh I
-
believe this fast is what's going to
-
kind of give us that shot, that
-
propelling uh power to take those next
-
steps. Um and you'll see this throughout
-
the year. There will be certain
-
thresholds. we as a church step across.
-
But here's what I know. You and your
-
family and for you individually, I
-
believe there are some sacred thresholds
-
that you're going to be stepping across
-
as an individual, as a family, as God
-
leads you, as God directs you. And
-
here's the thing, listen. And when you
-
hear his voice and he says step, step.
-
Amen.
-
>> Now, if he doesn't say step, whoop,
-
pause, right? Because I would rather
-
wait on his voice. And when he says
-
speak, then I would step at that point
-
because then I know blessing will be on
-
the other side of my obedience to his
-
word. Now I don't want to step where his
-
blessings are not. I don't want to step
-
where his provision is not. I don't want
-
to step where his safety is not, his
-
protection is not. I don't want to be
-
outside of God's will. But when I hear
-
his voice, I step and I know that he's
-
going to take care of me. Uh so this
-
year, as you hear God's voice and you
-
step there, be sure, be certain that you
-
hear his voice because when you do, I
-
know that blessing will be on the other
-
side of that. Amen. And I know God's
-
going to bless that. So, it's going to
-
be incredible. So, I want you to grab
-
your Bibles. Uh go with me to two
-
different books. The book of Psalms and
-
the book of Ezekiel. And I'm going to
-
ask you to stand with me. I'm going to
-
read a few verses here um out of both of
-
these. Uh Psalm chapter 24 and then
Psalms 24 chapter mention
-
Ezekiel chapter 43. And I'll try my best
Ezekiel 43 chapter mention
-
to uh weave these together and tie these
-
together as what the Lord showed me uh
-
stepping into this year of sacred
-
thresholds. Uh because here's what I
-
know. Anytime there's advancement,
-
anytime there's ever any momentum,
-
anytime there's ever a moment where God
-
is doing something significant in your
-
life, um in the lives of your family or
-
in the life of the church, there's
-
always going to be a moment that all of
-
that is me met with resistance. And the
-
resistance comes from the enemy. So
-
tonight, um I'm going to try my best to
-
identify some of the threats at the
-
threshold. Okay? Some of the threats
-
that the enemy will bring against us at
-
the threshold. And then through
-
scripture, we're going to combat this
-
and we're going to see what God wants to
-
do in our hearts and how God's going to
-
move in our lives. But tonight, if you
-
got Psalm chapter 24, say, "I got it."
Psalms 24 chapter mention
-
>> I got it.
-
>> All right. Skip down to verse number
-
three, if you will. Uh here's what the
-
word of God says. I'm reading from the
-
New King James. It says who may ascend
-
into the hill of the Lord or who may
-
stand in his holy place. Simple
-
questions uh but very weighty questions
-
for us as a believer. Then he goes on to
-
answer. The writer said, "He who has
-
clean hands and a pure heart, who has
-
not lifted up his soul to an idol nor
-
sworn deceitfully, he shall receive
-
blessing from the Lord." The blessing
-
from the Lord and righteousness from the
-
God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the
-
generation of those who seek him, who
-
seek your face. And then the writer
-
says, "Seili or pause and reflect on
-
what has been written." Now go over to
-
Ezekiel chapter 43 and let's start with
Ezekiel 43 chapter mention
-
verse number six there. And the Bible
-
says it like this. Then I heard him
-
speaking to me from the temple while a
-
man stood beside me and he said to me,
-
"Son of man, this is the place of my
-
throne and the place of the souls of my
-
feet where I will dwell in the midst of
-
the children of Israel forever. No more
-
shall the house of Israel defy my holy
-
name. Nor or it says they nor their
-
kings by their harlotry or with the
-
carcasses of their kings o on their high
-
places when they set their threshold by
-
my threshold. I want you to see that he
-
said, 'When they set their threshold by
-
my threshold and their doorpost by my
-
doorpost with a wall between them and
-
me, they watch this, defiled my holy
-
name by the abominations which they
-
committed. Therefore, I have consumed
-
them of my anger. Now, let them put
-
their harlotry in the carcasses of their
-
kings, far away from me, and watch this.
-
if they will do that. He said, "And I
-
will dwell in their midst forever." I
-
don't know about you, but I'm thankful
-
for the grace that's in the word of God.
-
Amen. I I know we can look at that and
-
say, "Man, there's a hard line drawn."
-
But anytime you see a hard line, our God
-
is a God of grace and he will show up
-
and he will give us grace. So tonight, I
-
want to teach on this threats at the
-
threshold. So let's pray. Father, I
-
thank you. I praise you. I honor you for
-
your word. And Lord, I pray tonight that
-
you would just allow me to speak what
-
you have me to speak. Have me not go
-
down the trails you don't want me to go
-
down so I can exalt the name of Christ.
-
Lord, I thank you for your word. I thank
-
you that it is forever settled. And
-
Lord, I pray you'd speak to us through
-
it tonight. In the mighty name of Jesus,
-
we pray. And everybody says, "Amen." And
-
amen. You may be seated in the presence
-
of the Lord tonight.
-
I I I just my heart is is stirred and my
-
heart is overwhelmed because I see the
-
complacency.
-
Um I see the uh the drift if you will.
-
Um and to bring it up to speed maybe
-
where we might could articulate this and
-
bring more understanding to our heart. I
-
see the compromise in the church world
-
as a whole. I I see the things that are
-
going on around us and I see how that uh
-
truly if you really boil it down to
-
brass tax many in the church in America
-
have left their first love and they have
-
drifted to other lovers.
-
>> The truth is we have compromise has not
-
has not dri has not stayed as a
-
distancing word. It is now become
-
shifting from compromise to a spirit of
-
relevance so that we can be what we need
-
to be to all people. Well, I I have to I
-
have to give a little bit in my faith,
-
pastor, to be able to reach somebody.
-
That is not true.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> It's not true. What is tolerated in this
-
generation will be accepted in the next
-
generation.
-
And so if we don't draw a hard line
-
according not to man's standards, watch
-
this, not manly traditions, not not not
-
denominational things, not fellowship
-
things, but if we don't draw a hard line
-
with the word of God and understand what
-
true repentance looks like and what
-
godliness looks like, then can I tell
-
you the next generation after us will
-
have the most they will be the most
-
biblically illiterate generation to ever
-
walk the face of the planet. Because if
-
we're being if we can be real honest
-
today, there are a lot of people that
-
sit inside of churches that are
-
biblically illiterate because the pull
-
pits are biblically illiterate.
-
>> And if the pull pits are that way, then
-
it will transfer to the house. But I'm
-
going to tell you, I'm going to come
-
with both of my six shooters loaded all
-
the way with the word of God every time
-
I get in this pull pit to let you know
-
this is what the word of God says. I'm
-
not going to sit here and sugar coat it.
-
I wish I could, but I will get
-
reprimanded for that. Can I get an amen?
-
And it will not be from a board. It will
-
not be from a denomination. It will be
-
from my father in heaven. He will have
-
to deal with my heart. So my heart is
-
for us to really have a full and
-
complete understanding of what the word
-
says. Again, not drifting to standards
-
of men and and and and and the thought
-
processes of men, but what does the word
-
say? What does the word say?
-
>> Yeah. Because if we land on that
-
standard and that standard alone, then I
-
promise you, God will pour his spirit
-
out on our lives. Not just in the house,
-
but when we go to the house, there will
-
be favor. There will be power. There
-
will be evidence. There will be grace.
-
There will be mercy present in our
-
house. There will be kindness in our
-
house. There will be forgiveness in our
-
house. Come on. There will be grace for
-
everything that we walk through. There
-
will be an absolute evidence of the
-
power and the presence of God because we
-
have got the word of God correct in our
-
life. I'm not telling you you have to be
-
a biblical scholar. Come on, somebody.
-
>> I thank God, right? Thank God I don't
-
have to have all the answers to
-
everything. One of my favorite answers
-
is I don't know, but I'll go find out
-
>> because I don't want to ever be the one
-
to lead somebody astray and bring them
-
to a place of misunderstanding for the
-
word. Because again, that is a whole
-
another ball game and I don't even have
-
time to talk about that tonight. But
-
tonight, my I I have a simple yet
-
weighty assignment from the Lord to
-
bring to us a a a proposition, if you
-
will, from the word of God to let us see
-
clearly that if we're not careful, if
-
we're not careful, there will be threats
-
that stand at the threshold. And if
-
we're not careful without understanding,
-
we will open the door to those threats.
-
And they will drift into our life.
-
They will drift into our family. They
-
will drift into our heart. And watch
-
this. If we allow compromise in one
-
area, the enemy will convince us it's
-
okay in another area too.
-
>> Because then it becomes he take he takes
-
compound interest seriously. He says if
-
I can get one area, I'm going to try to
-
get three.
-
>> If I can get three areas, I'm going to
-
get seven. Right? I'm I'm going to try
-
my best to get in every part of your
-
life. But tonight, my assignment is to
-
identify compromise before it crosses
-
the threshold.
-
Because as long as it's over here on
-
this side and it hasn't got access to my
-
life and it hasn't crossed over, then it
-
does not have any authority over my
-
life. But the moment that I stand behind
-
the door and it knocks and I open up and
-
say, "Come on in." Then now I have
-
compromised and I've allowed the enemy
-
to have access to my life.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> My job as your pastor is to help you
-
identify this. I'm going to try my best
-
to not be specific and calling out
-
everything that I see as a compromise
-
because then some people will say, "Woo,
-
he didn't call out mine."
-
>> Come on.
-
>> Right.
-
>> Like, woo man, I was really saying
-
pastor was going to go there, but he
-
didn't talk about what I've been dealing
-
with, so I must not be. No, I want the
-
Holy Spirit through this teaching to
-
speak directly to you individually. Is
-
there anything that is standing at the
-
threshold? Is there any threats that are
-
standing at the threshold? And I'm not
-
accusing anybody of letting anything in.
-
But what I have come to tell you as a
-
watchman on the wall is that there are
-
threats the enemy wants to bring into
-
your family and bring into your life and
-
try to bring into this church. But I'm
-
going to stand here and say in the name
-
of Jesus, I WILL FIGHT EVERY ONE OF THEM
-
OFF WITH EVERYTHING THAT I'VE GOT
-
BECAUSE WE'VE got a mandate from HEAVEN
-
TO BRING THE GOSPEL TO ALL THE WORLD AND
-
ALL PEOPLE SO THEY CAN experience
-
freedom. Can you say amen?
-
>> I'm not preaching. I'm teaching. So,
-
I've got to I've got to stay focused,
-
but we got to identify compromise before
-
I enter in. The truth is tonight,
-
the fact is that uh the other side
-
of of of on the other side of every uh
-
sacred threshold is a true blessing from
-
the Lord.
-
But in that truth comes the schemes of
-
every uh of the enemy to destroy the
-
sacred things in our life that God has
-
set up. Now watch this. But he doesn't
-
come at us to destroy it by allout war
-
and attack. He comes by one word and
-
that is compromise.
-
He shows up with one word compromise.
-
trying to convince us that we can mix
-
the sacred and the secular together and
-
get away with it.
-
Watch this. The enemy is all right with
-
you coming to church as long as on the
-
back side of the door you got some
-
compromise.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> HE'S OKAY WITH YOU MAYBE COMING TO A
-
meeting and showing up and maybe even
-
reading your Bible a little bit as long
-
as you compromise on the other side. and
-
you're not totally all the way in, but
-
the moment you get all the way in and
-
say, "I'm crossing the threshold," is
-
the moment the enemy is going to rear
-
his head up and say, "I'm going to try
-
to destroy your life." Now, watch this.
-
Psalm 24:es 3-6, we just read it just a
-
moment ago. It talks about and it brings
-
a true description to us on how we are
-
to conduct ourselves spiritually which
-
will in turn not disqualify us from
-
stepping across the god orained
-
thresholds and sacred thresholds that he
-
has for a life. verse number three when
-
you go back to that and I don't know if
-
maybe we have that we can pull that up
-
or not in in uh Psalm 24 verse number
-
three the the question is posed there
-
who shall ascend to the hill of the Lord
-
who shall stand in his holy place the
-
question is who gets access beyond the
-
threshold who who is it that gets access
-
beyond the threshold and then we slip
-
over to verse number four and we begin
-
to see some things that are laid out by
-
the writer through the power of the Holy
-
Spirit that are requirements or been
-
guidelines for us to be able to be
-
qualified to step across the threshold
-
to see what God desires to see inside of
-
our hearts and inside of our lives. What
-
are those things? The Bible talks about
-
this. Those who have pure hands and
-
clean hearts. Those who have pure hands
-
and pure hearts. What does that mean,
-
pastor? That means the works of my hand
-
must be from a pure heart and a pure
-
motive, not for selfish gain.
-
Whenever I work for the Lord, I'm not
-
doing it for recognition. I'm not doing
-
it so people can pat me on the back. I'm
-
not doing it so I can have financial
-
blessing. I'm not doing it so I can gain
-
favor with everybody. But I'm doing it,
-
watch this, because it is overflowing
-
out of a heart of gratitude that I once
-
was lost, but because of the grace of
-
God, now I am found. And what I want to
-
do for the Lord is flowing out of I have
-
to do it. I was talking to a young
-
person before service tonight and they
-
were saying, "Pastor, it's just like I
-
want to do something for God. I'm" and I
-
told them, I said, "Watch this. I'm
-
going to show you what what is
-
happening. Jeremiah described it like
-
this in his book. He said, "It's like
-
fire that shut up in my bones." And she
-
said, "I said the other day, I just feel
-
it in my bones." I said, "That's exactly
-
right. You're not It's not flowing out
-
of you so you can be looked at and be
-
bragged on. There is something that
-
changed on the inside of your heart."
-
And out of that relationship flows a
-
desire to say, "I WANT TO PLEASE GOD. I
-
want to serve the Lord." AND CAN I TELL
-
YOU, I WISH THAT WOULD GET BACK IN THE
-
HEART OF every single PERSON THAT WE
-
WOULD NOT FORGET WHAT GOD DID FOR US. WE
-
WILL NOT FORGET WHERE GOD BROUGHT US
-
FROM. AND WE WOULD SAY, "GOD, I GOT TO
-
DO SOMETHING FOR YOUR KINGDOM." AND GOD
-
WILL BRING US TO A PLACE OF RECOGNITION
-
THAT THIS IS NOT FLOWING out of pride or
-
out of arrogance, BUT IT'S FLOWING out
-
of relationship with the Lord himself.
-
Because that, my friends, is when works
-
become pure in the eyes of God and our
-
hands become clean in the eyes of
-
Christ. Because it's not about us. John
-
Maxwell talks about this in leadership
-
classes. He said, "When you are a
-
leader, life is not about you. It's
-
about everybody else."
-
>> He said, "You're not in this for you.
-
You are in this for them." And if you're
-
in this for you, it will be seen very
-
quickly. But if you're in this for
-
everybody else, then everything you do
-
and everything you think about will be
-
how is this going to affect them in a
-
positive way.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> So if you're going to lead your family,
-
we've got to think about it's not about
-
me. It's about
-
>> them.
-
If you're going to lead a ministry, it's
-
not about me. It's about how am I going
-
to lead? What's is this going to benefit
-
them? How if if I'm gonna be a pastor, I
-
had to grapple with this. It's not about
-
me. It's about you.
-
>> Amen. Amen.
-
>> Ultimately, we're here to please the
-
Lord. Amen.
-
>> But understand this. In leading, I have
-
to understand. I have to lead you. And
-
that means I've got to know who you are.
-
I've got to see what's going on. I've
-
got to understand what's going on in the
-
climate, spiritually, politically,
-
financially, all these things to be able
-
TO SAY, GOD, HOW WOULD YOU HAVE me lead
-
according to your will so your people
-
can be engaged in their purpose?
-
>> And that's where the rubber meets the
-
road because it comes from a pure heart.
-
He goes on to say that those others that
-
are qualified through the requirements
-
and guidelines, they do not worship
-
idols. In other words, they don't put
-
other gods before God.
-
>> They don't put people before God.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> They don't put sports before the Lord.
-
>> They don't put family before the Lord.
-
>> Hello, somebody.
-
>> They don't put their own desires before
-
the Lord. They say, "Lord, what how or
-
how can I serve you and your kingdom
-
today? What does that look like?" There
-
there is all kinds of things going on
-
right now. There is there is pushes uh
-
in in America or the Western world to uh
-
disqualify the word of God and say that
-
the word of God is not actually true,
-
that there is fallible. There are other
-
pushes right now in even religious
-
circles to say that hell is not a real
-
place.
-
>> Come on.
-
There there are pushes for people that
-
are leaving the church that they they
-
want to go through a process that they
-
call being unbaptized.
-
>> If they were baptized in the church,
-
they they want they literally I've seen
-
it. They will take a blow dryer or a fan
-
and they will point it on them and they
-
will renounce their baptism
-
>> because they are trying they're trying
-
to deconstruct Christianity to the point
-
that we have no ground to stand on in
-
their eyes.
-
And the fact is, we've got people now
-
that in the church that are putting
-
idols above God and wondering why the
-
world is so stinking confused.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> He didn't call us to be comfortable. He
-
didn't call us to live in compromise. He
-
called us to be a city set on a hill, a
-
light that is set on a hill so that we
-
could shine bright into all the world.
-
We cannot blame the world for living in
-
darkness. We can't blame them for
-
sinning. If they're a sinner, guess
-
what? Surprise. They're not going to
-
live for the Lord. They're going to be
-
stumbling AROUND IN DARKNESS. WHY ARE
-
THEY STUMBLING SO MUCH? WHY CAN THEY NOT
-
FIGURE OUT THE FACT THAT IT IS one that
-
is male and female? THAT THERE'S NOT 47
-
OTHER GENDERS. It's because THE CHURCH
-
HAS COMPROMISED to the point that we've
-
let OUR LIGHT GO OUT AND THERE IS NO
-
TRUTH ANYMORE. IT'S ALL ABOUT RELATIVE
-
TRUTH AND YOUR TRUTH AND MY TRUTH. BUT
-
CAN I TELL YOU, WE'VE GOT TO GET BACK TO
-
THE POINT THAT WE PROCLAIM THAT THIS
-
WORD IS TRUE. AND WHATEVER IT SAYS, I'M
-
GOING TO DO IT. WHATEVER IT SAYS I CAN
-
HAVE, GUESS WHAT? I CAN HAVE IT. HOWEVER
-
IT SAYS TO LIVE, I'M GOING TO LIVE IT.
-
AND IF IT SAYS PREACH THE WORD THIS WAY
-
AND THE GOSPEL THIS WAY, THEN FROM THIS
-
HOUSE AND FROM THIS VOICE, I'M GOING TO
-
PREACH IT CUZ I WANT TO SEE people born
-
again.
-
>> Let's see him born again. A weak gospel
-
will not save anybody.
-
>> It will just confuse people. But the
-
fact is we put idols above God many
-
times. But he is saying if we don't lift
-
oursel up uh to to vanity and idols then
-
we have a chance to be qualified to step
-
across that threshold. And then watch
-
this. Those even another requirement is
-
those who never deceive whose words are
-
sure. whose words are sure, meaning that
-
your yes is yes and your no is no.
-
That seems really complicated,
-
but let's just boil it down.
-
If you say no to the enemy,
-
mean it.
-
>> That's right.
-
>> Amen.
-
If you say yes to the voice of God,
-
don't get halfway in and say, "Oh, this
-
is tough." and back out. When you say
-
yes, when things get get tough, remember
-
it wasn't man that called you.
-
>> It wasn't your idea to step out in
-
faith. It was God's calling. And when he
-
calls you, if he if it gets tough, I
-
promise you, he will be right there with
-
you.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> He'll be right. So, let your no be no.
-
Let your yes be yes. Don't let there be
-
any uncertainty that comes out of your
-
mouth and let there be no deceit that
-
comes out of your mouth because then you
-
are qualified to come and step across
-
the threshold and to push the threats
-
that come to the threshold out on the
-
other side. Can I get an amen?
-
>> Watch this. Access to the hill of the
-
Lord which is described in Psalm 24.
-
This is a place of communion, fellowship
-
and relationship. The hill of the Lord.
-
And then the holy place. This is a place
-
of impartation, authority, and power.
-
They are not granted to casual, secular,
-
or carnal people.
-
Did you catch that? Getting to the hill
-
of the Lord, getting in the holy place,
-
stepping across the threshold TO THE
-
SACRED PLACE THAT GOD has is not
-
available to casual Christians, secular
-
people are carnal people.
-
>> Watch this. Because God has called us to
-
be spiritual. Look at your neighbor.
-
Say, be spiritual.
-
>> Be spiritual.
-
>> Romans 8 chapter 6 through8 says it like
-
this. For to be carnally minded is
-
death, but to be spiritually minded is
-
life and peace. Because the carnal mind
-
is enmity against God. For it is not
-
subject to the law of God, nor indeed
-
can be. So then, watch this. Those who
-
are in the flesh cannot please God.
-
Man, I know that's deep. I know it's
-
heavy. Hang with me. We're going
-
somewhere tonight. But I want you to
-
understand there are threats like this,
-
a fleshly nature, a carnal mind that are
-
trying to creep past the threshold TO
-
DISRUPT THE GOODNESS OF GOD THAT'S ON
-
THE OTHER SIDE of your stepping in
-
obedience.
-
Because if the enemy can do anything, he
-
will keep you from the will of God.
-
>> He will keep you from the perfect plan
-
of God. How does he do that? He doesn't
-
do that by showing up with a pitchfork
-
and a pointed tail.
-
Although I'm being honest, that'd be a
-
little easier to identify. Can I get a
-
witness?
-
>> But sometimes the enemy will show up in
-
a dress. Can I get an amen?
-
>> The enemy will show up wearing a suit.
-
>> The enemy will show up right in the
-
middle of the greatest mountaintop
-
experience that you've ever had in your
-
life. in the valley, man, my trust is
-
too deep in God. The devil ain't got no
-
chance to defeat me down there. But when
-
I get up on the mountain and
-
everything's going good and I'm feeling
-
great and I get a little get a little
-
breath, enemy is going to show up.
-
>> When did he show UP TO JESUS? TOOK HIM
-
UP TO THE TOP of an exceeding great
-
mountain and showed him all the kingdoms
-
of the world. Right?
-
>> He's going to show up in those moments.
-
But if we have the mind of Christ in
-
those moments, when the enemy does
-
present us with a moment or a scheme of
-
compromise, we will recognize it just
-
like that.
-
>> And then we'll be able to exercise our
-
right and say, "No, devil. I'm not doing
-
it."
-
>> I think we need to get a good no in our
-
spirit. Somebody say, "No."
-
>> That's what I Oh, that sounded good.
-
That was good right there. I'll be
-
honest. If you If you keep that up, the
-
devil ain't got a chance. He ain't got a
-
chance because we step back and realize
-
that we have the authority over the
-
enemy.
-
>> A lot of times we we have this concept
-
in our mind. The devil is more powerful
-
than we are. The devil is just a fallen
-
angel.
-
>> Hello.
-
>> Oh, Sloohoot, Lucifer, whatever you want
-
to call him, loser. I think that's a
-
great name.
-
>> Come on. It's a great name for the
-
devil.
-
>> It's really good. But a lot of times we
-
give him more power than he should have.
-
He is not equal with God.
-
>> It's not a battle of gods at all. There
-
is one supreme god. There is one lord,
-
one savior, one Christ. It is Jesus. And
-
I'm going to tell you this, the enemy is
-
not equal with him.
-
>> He's not equal with him. He does not
-
possess power over us. Matter of fact,
-
you have power over the enemy.
-
>> Come on.
-
HE HATES YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE THE
-
REFLECTION OF A HOLY GOD. SO EVERY TIME
-
he sees you, he sees the one that kicked
-
him out of all eternity and sent him on
-
the road. That's why he's got an issue
-
with you. That's why he's got a problem
-
with you. BUT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU, HE
-
IS LIMITED in power. He is limited in
-
time. You can go back to THE WORD OF
-
GOD. AND HE DOES NOT HAVE AUTHORITY OVER
-
YOU AS A CHILD OF GOD. I DON'T KNOW
-
ABOUT YOU, BUT THAT GETS ME EXCITED
-
TONIGHT THAT IF I STAY SPIRITUALLY
-
MINDED, THERE IS NOTHING THE ENEMY CAN
-
DO TO TALK ME OUT OF TO STOP ME OR BLOCK
-
ME FROM THE PROMISES OF GOD. BUT IF I
-
HANG ON TO HIS PROMISES, I FEEL LIKE
-
preaching a little bit right now. If
-
I'll HANG ON TO THE PROMISES OF GOD, HE
-
WILL CLEAR EVERY OBSTACLE OUT OF MY WAY.
-
HE'LL MOVE EVERY DEMONIC INFLUENCE.
-
HE'LL MOVE EVERY COME ON, SOMEBODY. IS
-
THERE ANYBODY IN THE HOUSE THAT WOULD
-
SAY, "PASTOR, I'VE SEEN HIM DO IT, AND I
-
JUST WANT TO TAKE A MOMENT AND GIVE MY
-
GOD A LITTLE BIT OF PRAISE TONIGHT." I
-
DARE YOU TO GIVE HIM SOME PRAISE. IF THE
-
ENEMY HAS EVER BEEN MOVED OUT OF YOUR
-
LIFE, IF GOD HAS EVER MADE A WAY WHERE
-
THERE SEEM, IF HE'S EVER BROUGHT HEALING
-
TO YOUR MIND, IF HE'S EVER BROUGHT
-
HEALING TO YOUR BODY, IF HE'S EVER
-
RESTORED YOUR I FEEL THE GLORY OF THE
-
LORD IN THE HOUSE, I WANT TO TELL YOU,
-
IF HE DID IT BEFORE, HE'S ABOUT TO SHOW
-
UP AND DO IT AGAIN IN YOUR LIFE. 1 2 3.
-
GIVE HIM SOME PRAISE in the house.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
He is God
-
>> and there's none beside him.
-
None beside him.
-
First Corinthians 2:14 says it like
-
this. But the natural man does not
-
receive the things of the spirit of God,
-
for they are foolishness to him, nor can
-
he know them because they are
-
spiritually discerned.
-
I I have a problem with with the
-
pattern. Again, this is another one of
-
the threats to the threshold is that
-
it's either one of two extremes in the
-
church. Either you got the person that
-
is over here in the clouds all day long
-
and they're so spiritual that you can't
-
even have a real conversation with them.
-
Come on.
-
>> Anybody ever met anybody like that? Do
-
not point at them if they're in the
-
house tonight.
-
But everything they say, oh every, you
-
know, God is, oh, I'm floating over
-
here, man. Me and the Lord are surfing
-
on cloud number nine. Come on. I just
-
like, whoa, calm down.
-
Like we we have we we can be spiritual,
-
but we don't have to be weird.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> I take problem with that. I take issue
-
with that. That's one extreme. And
-
that's a threat to the threshold because
-
it will turn people. It will turn the
-
harvest off.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> Mhm.
-
>> You start throwing all these church
-
terms out them. They don't know what
-
you're talking about,
-
>> bro. I just need to know, am I going to
-
heaven or going to hell? I want to know
-
which way is it happening. Right?
-
>> That's one threat. But then the other
-
threat is people that refuse to be
-
spiritual at all.
-
>> They got born again 432 years ago and I
-
planted my butt right here and I'm going
-
to stay here until Jesus comes back. But
-
I ain't doing nothing for the Lord.
-
>> I ain't going to pray. I ain't going to
-
read my Bible. Listen, I'm going to be
-
honest with you. If you don't have a
-
desire to read the word and a desire to
-
be in his presence, I'm not saying you
-
don't have to push past your fleshly
-
nature. That's why we're fasting right
-
now to tell our flesh you are not in
-
charge.
-
>> Right?
-
>> Okay. So, we can override that through
-
our spirit man. But if you don't have a
-
desire to be in the house of God, to
-
read his word, be in his presence, I'm
-
going to stand here and I'm going to
-
question the fruit that is on your tree.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> People say, "Well, you don't be judging
-
me, pastor." No, I'm not. I'm not
-
judging you. I am making a judgment
-
based off the fruit you're bearing.
-
>> And if my judgment says you are not
-
producing the fruit of the spirit, then
-
me as your spiritual leader, I love you
-
enough to look at you and say, "Hey,
-
what's going on?"
-
>> Yeah. Amen.
-
>> We have people on this side that refuse
-
to be spiritual at all. And they stand
-
over here and they think, "I'm going to
-
get everything God has, but I don't
-
read. I don't pray. I don't fellowship.
-
I don't come to church. I don't serve. I
-
don't do anything. I am off over here in
-
left field and there's no fruit at all."
-
Can I tell you those are two extremes.
-
We have to find a balance in this thing
-
and find a rhythm in our faith. There
-
will be seasons that we are going to
-
drift over here a little bit more
-
because we are fighting. Come on. We we
-
have to get up. We have to speak the
-
word of God. Greater is he that's in me.
-
Come on. When when cancer shows up, you
-
know, you cannot drift OVER THERE AND
-
STAY there and survive. You got to stand
-
here and you got to stand fast in the
-
word of God and say, "Listen, I know I'm
-
healed by the blood of Jesus. I know the
-
stripes of Jesus were on." HE TOOK THEM
-
ON HIS BACK SO I COULD HAVE HEALING. AND
-
I WILL STAND HERE AND I WILL LOOK the
-
doctor in the eye AND SAY, "YEAH, THAT
-
MAY BE WHAT the report says, but I
-
choose to believe what my savior said
-
about me and I'M ALREADY HEALED."
-
SOMETIMES YOU GOT TO GET IN THAT VEIN
-
AND YOU GOT TO FIGHT WITH EVERYTHING
-
YOU'VE GOT.
-
>> YEAH.
-
>> And you have to drift there. There are
-
other seasons you may come against
-
somebody who's never been in church
-
before and you may have to drift here
-
and look them right in the eye and tell
-
and talk to them like they need to be
-
talked to so you can they can understand
-
what you're saying.
-
>> Yes.
-
>> Because you're reaching that person. It
-
doesn't mean I drift to the extremes.
-
Just means somewhere in there I got to
-
find a rhythm on how I'm supposed to
-
operate in the kingdom of God.
-
>> Yeah. There is a season for everything.
-
Seasons come, seasons go, the Lord shows
-
up, the Lord moves, the Lord changes
-
things. And what I know inside of my
-
heart and inside of my life is that the
-
Lord God Almighty has put us here in
-
this place tonight to let us recognize
-
that we cannot exist in a carnal mind, a
-
fleshly mind. We must be in the presence
-
of God, have spiritual minds, and have
-
the mind of Christ. Amen.
-
>> And there's no other way to do that
-
other than to pick up the word of God.
-
>> There was a study that was that was
-
produced and um I shared this with our
-
staff when we began to start the fast
-
and we're doing the Bible reading doing
-
two chapters a day of the book of Acts
-
Monday through Friday and we'll be
-
through the entire book of Acts not this
-
Friday but the next Friday and we'll end
-
up reading the entire book of Acts
-
together as a church. And I said the
-
reason why I want to go five days number
-
one because I understand people get busy
-
and there may be a day you miss. you
-
going to need Saturday and Sunday to
-
catch up. Come on.
-
>> I'm just being honest. We've already had
-
to use our Saturday and Sunday to catch
-
up because we get busy and we have life
-
and it's all crazy, but we got through
-
it and we enjoyed it. But here's what I
-
want to say. The study says that if
-
somebody reads the Bible one time a
-
week, not really a whole lot spiritually
-
changes. If they read it twice a week,
-
still maybe a slight tick up in in
-
difference, but nothing significant.
-
Three times a week, maybe a touch more,
-
but nothing of significance. But that
-
something between that third day and
-
that fourth day happens.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> When they hit four days a week, it is
-
literally some of the statistics was
-
they are 200% or more less likely to be
-
depressed when they read the word of God
-
four times a week.
-
>> That's crazy. That's ridiculous. I could
-
have my statistic. That may be one of
-
the others. There was another one and it
-
may have been um I think it was maybe
-
150% less likely uh to view pornography
-
because they were in the word of God
-
four or more times a week. So it begin
-
to distance them. When they got the word
-
of God in there, it was like a natural
-
wedge between the flesh man and the
-
spirit man. It drove the flesh man out
-
and brought the spirit man closer. Can I
-
tell you that if we don't get in that
-
type of vein every single week, not just
-
in our 21 days of fasting and praying
-
and the season of wonders, but every
-
single day make a conscious effort to
-
say, "God, I want to hear your voice
-
from your word."
-
>> It will make a huge difference in our
-
hearts and a huge difference in our
-
lives. I want you to see this. Romans 8
-
9-11 is another scripture that talks
-
about this. And it says, "But you are
-
not in the flesh but in the spirit
-
talking to the church." This is this is
-
directed to us. If indeed the spirit of
-
God dwells in you. Now if anyone does
-
not have the spirit of Christ, he is not
-
his. And if Christ is in you, the body
-
is dead because of sin. But the spirit
-
is life because of righteousness or
-
holiness. But if the spirit of him who
-
raised Jesus from the dead dwells in
-
you, he who raised Christ from the dead
-
will also give you give life rather to
-
your mortal bodies through his spirit
-
who dwells in you. Do you see the
-
connotation? The flesh man brings death,
-
but the spirit man brings life.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> And we have to recognize this that if
-
we're going to see clearly the threats
-
that are coming to the threshold, we
-
cannot exist carnally. We have to be
-
spiritual.
-
>> We have to be spiritual. And again, let
-
me reward it one more time. Not weird,
-
but spiritual.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Not weird, but spiritual.
-
Weird stuff weirds me out.
-
>> But spiritual people bring life to the
-
room.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> You know the difference.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> When somebody walks in and they're
-
spiritual and they got faith, you feel
-
it. Yeah.
-
>> It's not and it's not even for them to
-
be, oh, look at them. No, no, no. They
-
carry a faith in their life that when
-
they walk in, you automatically feel
-
peace.
-
>> You feel peace when they step in the
-
room. You know why? Because they know in
-
whom they have believed and they are
-
persuaded.
-
>> They are persuaded. I think it's time
-
that we get a persuaded faith back in
-
our life.
-
>> Persuaded that God is going to take care
-
of every need. persuaded he's going to
-
take care of every business transaction
-
we have, every business relationship,
-
everything we have. He is going to take
-
care of it because he's that good of a
-
God.
-
>> He's that good of a God. Now, watch
-
this. These are sacred thresholds that
-
we are about to walk through in 2026.
-
They cannot be stepped through in the
-
flesh or with a carnal mind. They must
-
be stepped through in the spirit.
-
Ezekiel chapter 43 verse number 8 uh
Ezekiel 43 chapter mention
-
shows some interesting verbiage here and
-
we read it earlier at the very beginning
-
but I'm going to read it in this this
-
little tagline in four different
-
translations real quick. The New King
-
James Version says when they set their
-
threshold by my threshold. Y'all
-
remember reading that out of Ezekiel
-
438. The New Living Translation says
-
they put their idol altars right next to
-
mine. This is God speaking through
-
Ezekiel to the people of God. The
-
English Standard Version says it like
-
this. By setting their threshold by my
-
threshold. And the message says it like
-
this. They built their shrines right
-
next to mine. They built their shrines
-
right next to mine. Across these
-
translations is a common thread and a
-
theme that has played out. And the the
-
issue is this. The issue is of proximity
-
without permission. They were bringing
-
what they thought was sacred and landing
-
it right next to the actual sacred part
-
of God when they really were in a
-
secular mindset. Their proximity was
-
right, but their permission was not
-
given with with human structures and
-
human focused worship. They set their
-
shrines up and they set their threshold
-
up and they set the wall up so that when
-
everybody saw them, they thought they
-
were sacred, but they really were
-
secular. THEY WERE TRYING TO DISGUISE
-
what they were doing. And they were uh
-
watch this. They were intruding on God's
-
sacred threshold. When I read this
-
scripture, there were four main key
-
words that I wanted to look up in the
-
Hebrew language and and and get gain an
-
understanding. One of those was
-
threshold that we've talked about many
-
times over the past couple weeks meaning
-
a seal or the threshold or the doorway
-
symbolizing authority, access or
-
ownership or transfer of ownership. But
-
then also it showed the doorpost in
-
Ezekiel chapter 43. And this is
Ezekiel 43 chapter mention
-
literally a place of covenant. Somebody
-
say covenant.
-
>> Then it was another word that popped out
-
to me and that was the word defiled
-
which literally means to pollute, to
-
make unclean or to violate the holiness
-
that was established. And then the last
-
word that stuck out to me was
-
abominations. This literally means
-
idolatry or desolate worship practices
-
that were going on. Israel aligned their
-
access points during the scripture that
-
Ezekiel was talking about. You see the
-
the this whole thing play out where God
-
drew a line in the sand and said,
-
"Listen, they set their threshold up by
-
my threshold and I will not allow
-
defilement to come to my temple." Israel
-
aligned their access points with God's
-
access point, making it appear that they
-
had lined up really with the holiness of
-
God. And they they had allowed theirel
-
to line up with the holiness of God, but
-
in reality, they just wanted everybody
-
else to think they were holy without
-
submitting to the hand of God through
-
obedience. And I want you to understand
-
that I feel like that there is a a a a a
-
good majority of the church in the
-
western world that want to appear as
-
though they are holy, but they really
-
don't want to submit to God through
-
obedience. I believe there are a lot of
-
people that call theirel Christian in
-
the western world that that they they
-
want to they want to appear they want
-
everybody else to think they're right
-
with God. And it becomes a cultural
-
Christianity, if you will, that I came
-
to church and I checkarked a box and
-
everything was good and everything is
-
well, but really on the backside of the
-
of their life, they are not submitting
-
to the holiness of God through
-
obedience. Can I tell you that I refuse
-
to pastor a church that is lied to every
-
week and and you don't under and people
-
don't understand the requirements that
-
God has of their life. Can I tell you
-
I'm going to preach because I want to
-
bring you to heaven with me. I want us
-
to get to the gates and the Lord look at
-
us and say, "Come on in. Well done, my
-
good and faithful servant." If it rubs
-
somebody the wrong way, I hope it rubs
-
them right into a right relationship
-
with God because we're called to be holy
-
and righteous in his sight.
-
>> The time frame that we see the scripture
-
written was post exile. And Ezekiel sees
-
a future in his mind's eye, in his
-
spiritual vision of a restored temple
-
one day where they were going to see the
-
power and presence of God. But then
-
there was a problem that arose and the
-
kings and leaders of that day. They
-
built royal residences. They built pagan
-
altars and they built burial sites for
-
the dead and they laid them adjacent to
-
the temple of the Lord God Almighty. the
-
political, the social, AND THE CULTURAL
-
POWERS OF THAT day tried to share a wall
-
with the with divine authority, making
-
it look as though they were condoned by
-
the presence of God rather than
-
condemned. I want you to understand that
-
many people look at this and say maybe
-
they didn't know what they were doing.
-
Maybe they were uncertain that they
-
maybe they built these things in the
-
wrong place. But I want you to know this
-
was not arrog ignorance. It was
-
arrogance because they knew exactly what
-
they were doing and exactly how they
-
were doing it. But I want to bring this
-
caveat in there. Even though they knew
-
what they were doing, even though they
-
knew they were bringing a defilement to
-
the temple of God and they were bringing
-
threats to the threshold that God had
-
established, Ephesians chapter 6 and
Ephesians 6 chapter mention
-
verse number 10 lays out a beautiful uh
-
instruction for you and I whenever it
-
talks about spiritual warfare that we
-
must face on a daily basis and even as a
-
church. I want you to see this. It says,
-
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the
-
Lord, in the power of his might. put on
-
the whole armor of God that you may be
-
able to stand against the ws of the
-
devil. For we do not wrestle against
-
flesh and blood, but against
-
principalities, against powers, against
-
rulers of the darkness of this age,
-
against spiritual hosts of wickedness in
-
the heavenly places. I want you to
-
understand, we are waring in the spirit
-
tonight as a believer. But I'm going to
-
tell you, we're not waring against
-
flesh. We are waring against spiritual
-
enemies in wicked places. I want you to
-
really draw that line because if we're
-
not careful, we'll call out and we'll
-
say, "Well, this group of people and and
-
this group of people and I understand
-
that there are certain sects that we
-
must call out and we must look at them
-
and say their beliefs are not lining up
-
with the word of God." You can look at
-
certain religions that are even in in in
-
in our area and those that are in our
-
nation and trying to take over and
-
certain belief systems and I'm going to
-
tell you, they do not line up with the
-
word of God. And I want you to
-
understand tonight, we must distinguish
-
between them. But when it comes down to
-
it, we are actually waring against the
-
spirit that is behind that and not even
-
the people that are participating.
-
>> We miss that a lot of times and we say,
-
"Well, curse this one and curse that
-
one. I DON'T WANT TO CURSE THEM. I WANT
-
TO CALL THEM OUT OF darkness into the
-
light of Christ and let them know you
-
are in error." BUT THERE IS A GOD WHO
-
can bring YOU OUT AND SHOW YOU TRUTH and
-
bring you to a place of repentance. And
-
I look at that in all kinds of areas.
-
And I want you to understand tonight,
-
I'VE GOT A FRESH UNDERSTANDING OF IT.
-
WE'RE not fighting against people. We're
-
fighting AGAINST THE SPIRIT THAT'S
-
BEHIND THEM.
-
>> Fighting against that. We can't get it
-
twisted. People aren't our enemy. They
-
are our assignment.
-
>> People are our assignment. Our family is
-
our assignment.
-
>> Our co-workers are our assignment.
-
>> The people that we sit beside in the
-
restaurants after the fast is over.
-
>> They are our assignment.
-
>> And God HAS CALLED US TO MINISTER TO
-
THEM. GOD HAS CALLED US TO LOVE THEM.
-
GOD HAS CALLED us to reach them.
-
whatever that looks like in that moment.
-
But if we are waring against the person,
-
all we're going to do is drive them away
-
from the grace of God. God has not
-
called us to do that. God has not God
-
has not called us to push them out. God
-
has called us to try our best to reach
-
them and bring them in. Sometimes it may
-
be impossible.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> It's why he gave us a little bit of an
-
out there. where he said as much as
-
possible is live peaceibly with all men.
-
>> Sometimes the best thing you can do is
-
get up and walk away.
-
>> Cuz you know, you get all heated and you
-
get all man, you you start to you start
-
to get a little emotional. You know what
-
I'm saying? You you you may say some
-
things.
-
Come on. You may say some things and
-
later on you going to go back up and
-
regret it and say, "Wait a second. That
-
is not what I meant." Anybody ever had
-
to go back to somebody and say, "I I
-
said something and that's not what I
-
meant to say."
-
Am I the only one? I see like two heads
-
shaking like, "Yes, pastor. That's me."
-
Okay, I see. Okay, I feel better now.
-
There's other people in the room. You
-
have to go back to him and say, "Listen,
-
I know I said that, but um yeah, that
-
was that was my alter ego. Can I get an
-
amen?"
-
>> Amen.
-
>> That was uh that was the other person
-
trying to speak and I I did not crucify
-
my flesh before I got in that
-
conversation. and he spoke a little too
-
loud. I spoke this the quiet thing out
-
loud and and so I didn't mean to do that
-
and you had to make things right cuz
-
sometimes we have to back we have to
-
understand that we may slip up and mess
-
up. But I'm thankful for forgiveness.
-
I'm thankful for grace. Thankful for the
-
hand of God that brings us to a place
-
that we can make reconciliation. But
-
watch this. To war, watch this. To war
-
and to win, we must hear the Holy
-
Spirit's instructions through Paul later
-
on. Because if we're going to get into
-
this battle that is a spiritual battle
-
against spiritual enemies, we cannot
-
approach it in a fleshly nature. If
-
we're going to guard the threshold from
-
the threats that are out here, if we try
-
to do that through the flesh, we are
-
going to miss it.
-
But if we are on our knees in prayer,
-
we're in the word of God, hearing God's
-
voice, then I promise you, you will
-
recognize the enemy when he shows up.
-
Because you'll have such a beautiful
-
picture of how good God is and his
-
character that whenever something that
-
opposes his character shows up, it will
-
be it will stick out like a sore thumb.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> And you won't have to say, "Well, I need
-
discernment whether that's the devil or
-
not." No, that's the devil.
-
That's him. You know why? because it
-
doesn't match up with the character of
-
God.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> And if it's trying here, I'll give you
-
some easy easy hints. If it if whatever
-
it is tries to keep you from reading the
-
word of God,
-
it's probably the enemy.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Now, if you have little children at the
-
house, I ain't talking about if you got
-
to change the diaper, you know, that
-
ain't that ain't spiritual warfare. Come
-
on, somebody. Having to get up in the
-
middle of the night and feed your child.
-
Oh, the devil's after me. No, your kid's
-
hungry.
-
Suck it up, buttercup. It'll be all
-
right.
-
>> Come on, somebody.
-
>> He put See, again, that's that's the
-
people that over there in the clouds.
-
Everything everything spiritual.
-
>> My baby wiggle the right toe. I think,
-
man, man, the devil's after our family.
-
Shut up.
-
>> Hello.
-
>> That's when it gets weird. That's
-
whenever I say, "Hey, you know, note to
-
self, don't get in a deep conversation
-
with that person."
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Guard my heart. I'm gonna guard my
-
peace.
-
>> Guard that. But we have to recognize it.
-
If it keeps us away from spiritual
-
things, if it tries to keep me from
-
being in the house of God, odds are it's
-
going to be an attack of the enemy.
-
That flew over like a lead balloon. I
-
think it bounced right there and it's
-
still there.
-
If it keeps me from wanting to be in the
-
presence of God, from seeking his face
-
and really submitting myself, finding
-
that place of solitude so I can get a
-
still heart and a still mind in that
-
moment so I can hear his voice clearly.
-
The enemy will try to bring chaos to
-
your life to keep you from doing that.
-
>> Responsibilities at home, that's not the
-
enemy.
-
>> Now, if you need to get your life
-
organized, that's a whole another story.
-
>> Amen. If you got to set some order, set
-
some order. And that's fine. I
-
understand that. That's biblical, too.
-
And that will allow you to have space.
-
Amen. I'll allow you to have space to
-
hear the voice of God. But if we're
-
going to really win in this war, we have
-
to hear the voice of the ready rider.
-
That is in Ephesians. When you drop a
-
little bit below that, Ephesians 6:13-20
-
says, "Therefore, if we're going to
-
fight if we're going to fight this this
-
fight of faith, right, if we're going to
-
fight the spiritual battle, we got to be
-
ready. Take up the whole armor of God.
-
Get the whole armor of God. Like don't
-
just like run out of the room with just
-
the sword that that you vulnerable to
-
the attack. You may be able to throw
-
things. You may be able to swing that
-
baby and you may be effective for a
-
little while, but at some point if
-
you're not careful, an arrow is going to
-
come and try to get you. And if you're
-
not protected, then you're left yourself
-
vulnerable. He said that you may be able
-
to withstand in the evil day, having
-
done all to stand. Stand therefore,
-
having girded your waist with the truth,
-
having put on the breastplate of
-
righteousness, having shaw your feet
-
with the preparation of the gospel of
-
peace, he said, above all, taking the
-
shield of faith, with which you were
-
able to quench all the fiery darts of
-
the wicked one, and take the helmet of
-
salvation and the sword of the spirit,
-
which is the word of God, praying always
-
with all prayer and supplication of the
-
spirit, being watchful to this end with
-
all perseverance and supplication for
-
all the saints and for me, and that the
-
utterance may be given to me that I may
-
open my mouth boldly to make known the
-
mystery of the gospel for which I am an
-
ambassador in chains that in it I may
-
speak boldly as I ought to speak. If
-
we're going to win in this war, we have
-
to put on the full armor of God.
-
>> And might I can I add this that to put
-
on the full armor of God, it's not once
-
a week we put that thing on.
-
It it's yes it is every single day.
-
>> Every day we put the all the whole armor
-
of God on. Why? Because we must be ready
-
to fight at a moment's notice.
-
We must be dressed to fight at a
-
moment's notice. And watch this. We must
-
have the have the confidence in the word
-
of God and the ability God put on our
-
life and the passion to fight at any
-
moment because watch this. God does not
-
cohabitate with compromise.
-
If compromises in my life, God is not
-
going to link up with that and partner
-
with that. God will not partner with
-
that. Watch this. Because when we are
-
dressed for war, there is no room for
-
compromise.
-
>> When I've got the full armor of God on,
-
I know what my assignment is that day.
-
>> And the armor of God is not self-care.
-
Swing that sword across there, too. I
-
want to preface. The armor of God is not
-
self-care. I know there's times you got
-
to have some silence. Come on, somebody.
-
>> You got to have some moments where you
-
can hear the voice of God, but but the
-
word of God never says, "Do self-care."
-
The word of God says, "Deny yourself."
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Amen. I if if the word of God is active
-
in our life and we have an active prayer
-
life and we have an active life of
-
serving in the kingdom of God, our
-
mental health will be stabilized because
-
our soul is prospering.
-
>> Amen.
-
is why have I take I take offense a
-
little bit with with some of the school
-
system decisions that they made several
-
years ago not allowing us to bring the
-
presence of God up in the room even in a
-
secretive way to be able to let kids
-
know that they are worth something that
-
God loves them and they they shut that
-
moment out for whatever reason but they
-
what they didn't realize is very the
-
very thing they needed help with we were
-
about to bring in the room but here's
-
what I believe God is flipping the
-
script and once they kicked out one time
-
now I got my youth pastor at every
-
single ball practice and every come on
-
at every single game right up in the
-
middle of them kids and loving on them
-
praying for them and every one of them
-
are coming to him and saying hey my
-
mama's going through this this is
-
happening can I tell you God has a way
-
of reversing and flipping the script on
-
THE ENEMY THAT HE MIGHT HAVE DENIED it
-
one time but I thank GOD THAT THERE'S AN
-
ARMOR-FILLED MAN THAT'S WALKING IN THAT
-
ROOM THAT'S WALKING UP IN THE MAN WE GOT
-
TEACHERS THAT ARE WALKING UP IN THAT
-
ROOM AND TELLING THE kids that JESUS
-
LOVES HIM I'M TELLING YOU GOD'S GRACE IS
-
ON THIS THING AND I BELIEVE HE'S GOING
-
TO BRING ABOUT A GREAT POWER and a great
-
strength.
-
>> Now watch this. It's not solicited
-
because they understand the assignment.
-
They know there's something different
-
about Pastor Danny.
-
>> They know there's something different
-
about those teachers and they can they
-
can invest that what they what they're
-
needing and what they're facing. They
-
can say, "I need help with this." And
-
then the open door is there.
-
>> And it's beautiful.
-
>> It's a beautiful thing. Israel, watch
-
this, attempted to merge the sacred with
-
the secular in the scripture.
-
But God rejected
-
then and God rejects today worship with
-
idols nearby.
-
>> He rejects worship with idols nearby. We
-
cannot, and watch this, and I will say
-
this, and will not mix the sacred and
-
the secular in this house. No,
-
>> we're not walking and stepping across
-
secular thresholds.
-
>> God specifically gave us that wording
-
that we are stepping across sacred
-
thresholds
-
>> because it is God ordained, God ordered
-
that we're going to step across this
-
year and we're going to see God do some
-
incredible things. But understand, we've
-
got to guard between guard and and and a
-
protect this house from allowing the
-
secular to be mixed with the sacred. So,
-
a lot of times people will say, "Pastor,
-
we we got to we got to compromise a
-
little bit. We got to maybe we don't be
-
so dogmatic on that. Maybe we need to
-
be, you know, let's let's not preach
-
that all the time. Let's let's, you
-
know, let's skip some of that, right?
-
Because we don't want to make people
-
feel uncomfortable." But here's the
-
thing. We can declare a real truth and
-
not be a jerk about it.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> I don't have to be a jerk to tell
-
somebody the truth.
-
>> Now, if they're bound in that sin and
-
they are uh they are fully in and they
-
they don't want to change and there is a
-
spirit that's got control of their life,
-
it wouldn't matter how soft or how
-
gracious, I could let brother Jack tell
-
them and they would still get mad.
-
He's got away with words. He can just
-
make make he make you feel like a
-
million bucks in just like 30 seconds.
-
You know, he and he could tell him in
-
the most gracious way that hey, you're
-
sorry buddy, but you're probably going
-
to go to hell. And you know, and you
-
know what? It wouldn't matter about the
-
tone because it's the truth behind it.
-
>> When you're confronted with truth, you
-
have a decision.
-
>> There's a decision that you must make at
-
that moment. Am I going to submit to
-
what I'm hearing and what I see and
-
understand that there are consequences
-
for my sin and change my ways or am I
-
gonna stay in it and get angry?
-
>> Can I tell you I don't want them to get
-
angry? But I cannot back down from
-
preaching just to save somebody from
-
getting upset.
-
>> Can't do that
-
>> because then I have to answer to God for
-
that for myself but also for this house.
-
And I want whenever whenever our church
-
is mentioned in heaven, I want it to be
-
bam, that's a great church. Come on.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Those people really love the Lord. I I
-
that's what I want. I want when that
-
happens, I want when whenever you walk
-
through those pearly gates and you stand
-
before the judgment seat of Christ, if
-
I'm back there behind you and I see them
-
call your name out next and I'm like,
-
"That's my man. That's my girl right
-
there." I want to hear, "Well done, thy
-
good and faithful servant.
-
>> Come on in." That is my goal as your
-
pastor. Can I tell can I go ahead and
-
articulate a few of the threats that I
-
feel like are at the threshold that we
-
have to be careful of?
-
>> And and some of these I don't really
-
have to worry about here because um I
-
you know I'll do the I I will preach the
-
gospel with all I've got. I know my
-
ministers will do the same thing even
-
with our dying breath. We'll do whatever
-
it takes. But me and my lady had a
-
conversation the other day and we said,
-
"Are we really prepared to give our
-
lives for the cause of the gospel of
-
Christ?"
-
>> Riding back from I don't remember where
-
we're riding back from. I think we went
-
to go see Brother Joe and we were just
-
talking about uh you know, we we were
-
listening to a bit of a podcast from uh
-
the these fireballs from Australia that
-
are just I mean just declaring the
-
gospel of Christ all over the place. and
-
uh he he was born into Islamic country
-
and his parents were Christians and
-
talking about what they had seen, how
-
God had moved, the miraculous things
-
that had taken place. And he he tried to
-
warn Australia that Islam was trying to
-
take over. And now he's trying to warn
-
America that it's happening the same
-
way.
-
>> And the reason why men are attracted to
-
Islam is because Islamic men, they act
-
like men.
-
>> Come on. Come on.
-
>> And his word, this is his words. While
-
the men in America are wearing dresses
-
and prancing around, the men of Islam
-
are standing up and being men.
-
>> Yeah. Come on.
-
>> Come on. Can I just get real and talk
-
about threats at the threshold?
-
>> Yes, sir.
-
>> Because if we're not careful, if we're
-
not careful, there will be a whole
-
generation of men that turn into
-
sissies.
-
>> Come on.
-
and they will miss God's given
-
assignment for their life to stand up
-
and be men of God and declare the grace
-
of God over a generation. I'm telling
-
you, we still need men to be men in
-
America.
-
>> Come on. We need men to rise up and do
-
what they're CALLED TO DO. WE NEED THEM
-
to lead their families in grace and in
-
authority and in power. We need them to
-
be spiritual men that do not back down
-
from a spiritual fight. That do not
-
cower when something goes wrong, but
-
they stand up and say, "No, GOD EQUIPPED
-
ME TO LOOK the enemy in the eye and be a
-
man of God AND CALL THE ENEMY for what
-
it is, protect my family, lead my
-
family, AND WATCH WHAT GOD'S GOING TO
-
DO."
-
>> But if we're not careful, WE'LL HAVE A
-
THREAT OF A THRESHOLD THAT WILL
-
DEASCULATE our men and end up putting
-
THEM IN A SPOT WHERE WE DON'T EVEN HAVE
-
ANY MEN THAT'LL stand up anymore.
-
and the American family will be
-
destroyed.
-
>> Yeah,
-
>> it will be destroyed. Now, I thank God
-
we got some manly men up in this house.
-
>> That's great. We got some special things
-
coming in February and in the early
-
March for uh to have a men's meeting and
-
a women's meeting. So, be listening for
-
that kind of stuff while I'm on that
-
subject. But I want you to understand it
-
starts a a weakness starts with a woke
-
and weak gospel that is preached.
-
>> Will you just come just come and say a
-
prayer and everything's going to change?
-
No, we need transformation.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> That means I once lived this way and I
-
was bound by all this. Jesus encountered
-
me and now I am completely different by
-
the grace of God. Come on. That is the
-
gospel. Not a weak gospel. LET'S JUST
-
NOT A GOSPEL THAT SAYS LET'S mingle or
-
oh, let's figure out how to coexist WITH
-
ALL THIS. OH, ABSOLUTELY NOT. Sin has no
-
place in my life as a Christian. I've
-
got to kill it. IF IT TRIES TO creep
-
back in again, kill it again through the
-
blood OF JESUS CHRIST AND be transformed
-
and walk in the power of God. He has
-
made you to be an overcomer. And because
-
Christ overcame, YOU AND I CAN OVERCOME
-
AS WELL. IT'S NOT A WEAK GOSPEL. IT IS A
-
POWERFUL GOSPEL. SIN HAS NO POWER OVER
-
ME. THE ENEMY HAS NO POWER OVER ME. WHY?
-
BECAUSE JESUS secured my deliverance and
-
my breakthrough. OH, I FEEL THE GLORY OF
-
GOD. HE SECURED MY BREAKTHROUGH ON THE
-
CROSS. AND I WALK IN THAT SAME POWER
-
TODAY. THE SAME SPIRIT THAT RAISED JESUS
-
FROM THE DEAD LIVES INSIDE OF ME. AND I
-
WANT TO KNOW, HAS ANYBODY ELSE GOT THE
-
SAME SPIRIT LIVING INSIDE OF THEM
-
TONIGHT? AND YOU DON'T WANT A WOKE
-
GOSPEL OR A WEAK GOSPEL. BUT PASTOR,
-
PREACH ME THE REAL GOSPEL. LEAD ME DOWN
-
THE PATH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME'S
-
SAKE. YAY. THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE
-
VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I WILL
-
FEAR NO EVIL, FOR YOU ARE WITH ME IN THE
-
NAME OF JESUS.
-
He's with me tonight
-
>> because we don't preach a woke or a weak
-
gospel.
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
>> May I go further?
-
>> Another threat at the at the uh
-
threshold
-
is offense.
-
>> Now, I'll be honest.
-
>> I'd rather not ever preach about the bet
-
of state never again.
-
I'm gonna let somebody else do that.
-
I'll recruit all my ministers and I'll
-
let my board members do it. That'd be
-
perfect. I can preach about the spirit
-
of offense, but can I tell you the
-
spirit of offense is destroying people
-
and it's destroying families.
-
>> I I I've seen people and I know people
-
that have lived in perpetual offense for
-
decades and it doesn't matter what you
-
say or how you say it, they're going to
-
be offended.
-
>> And it's it's usually the people now say
-
it like this that you have to walk on
-
eggshells around them all the time.
-
Yeah.
-
>> Say one wrong thing, they're going to
-
blow up.
-
>> They are bound by a spirit of offense.
-
>> And here's my heart. I don't want them
-
to be bound by a spirit of offense.
-
>> Hear me. There is deliverance. There is
-
breakthrough for that. There is victory
-
for that. But it comes, it only comes
-
through them admitting it. There's got
-
to be an admittance and there's got to
-
be repentance.
-
>> That's it.
-
can't go along and say, "Well, I don't
-
even know what I did to hurt you." Yes,
-
you do. Shut up,
-
>> which would offend them.
-
>> Or or or if they say, "I don't I don't
-
know what I did to hurt them." Maybe,
-
oh, that offends them.
-
>> Telling you, I've met people like that.
-
And they're bound by that and they are a
-
threat to the threshold
-
>> because what they'll do is they'll try
-
to inflict their offense on you and get
-
you in their boat.
-
You ever heard the statement, "Misy
-
loves company."
-
>> I'm telling you, be careful. An offended
-
person will try to find an ally just
-
like that.
-
>> And it'll happen like this. They'll come
-
and say, "Did you hear what pastor did?
-
Did you hear how pastor treated me?
-
>> Thank you.
-
That's a great response. That's a Yeah.
-
Thank you for thinking I'm awesome. I
-
love you.
-
But you look at that and they will try
-
their best and it will be an intro
-
comment like that. Well, you know, I I
-
tried to I tried to get my pastor and he
-
just he wouldn't respond to me. I just,
-
you know, I just I think I'm going to go
-
to another church.
-
>> You know, you want to go try one with
-
me? No. Absolutely not. The devil is a
-
liar.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Not because I don't believe there's
-
other great churches. There's other
-
great churches out there. I know great
-
pastors that love the Lord. But what's
-
going to happen is you going to carry
-
that offense right up in there and try
-
to mess up what God's doing in their
-
church, too.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Somebody comes up in here and they're
-
carrying a spirit of offense from
-
another church, I'm going to call it
-
out.
-
>> Cuz I'm not going We It would be an
-
injustice to be cyclical in that.
-
>> I want people to be free.
-
>> Amen. If there's sin in somebody's life
-
and it was tried to be dealt with
-
somewhere else and now it shows up here
-
and and they're they're unwilling to
-
deal with that or maybe they've not been
-
confronted. I'm I'm just one of them
-
guys. I'm going to go right to it.
-
>> I don't know why. Let's do it. I because
-
I love people enough to not let them be
-
bound in the mess that they're stuck in
-
because I see the potential in you
-
through Jesus Christ to do great things
-
for the kingdom of God and to live the
-
life you PROBABLY NEVER THOUGHT WAS EVEN
-
POSSIBLE.
-
>> Come on.
-
>> I don't know what that part was. I
-
thought was I talking about offense,
-
wasn't I? Okay. Talking about offense.
-
>> Spiritual apathy and lukewarm
-
Christianity
-
>> is a threat at the threshold.
-
That'll get you all the way up to the
-
threshold. I'm just tired, pastor.
-
I don't know if I can do it anymore.
-
I, you know, I'm gonna stand here in the
-
way so nobody else can go. You know, if
-
I can't go, you can't go either.
-
>> You know, it's just been, it's been one
-
of them years. I don't know if I can
-
step across threshold. What if I told
-
you on the other step of that obedience
-
would be the breakthrough you've been
-
asking for for years?
-
>> Shake off apathy. Shake off lukewarmness
-
and say, "Let's step across this
-
threat." Don't let that threat stop you.
-
Here's another threat at the threshold.
-
Gossip and slander,
-
>> backbiting, h, however you want to
-
categorize that,
-
people think it's okay. Well, I can talk
-
about them as long as I put it in prayer
-
request form.
-
>> I don't know, Mom. I don't know where n
-
is coming from. I blame it on my mom.
-
It's my mom's fault.
-
It's how she raised me. That's all I can
-
say.
-
>> But but we don't realize
-
we don't realize when we allow gossip to
-
be part of our life, we are tearing down
-
another believer.
-
>> Yeah.
-
>> Right.
-
>> Our brother and sister in Christ. God
-
has not called us to tear them down. God
-
has called us to actually do the
-
opposite, to build them up.
-
and in this house, don't ever talk about
-
somebody else in this place.
-
>> If there is if there is friction, if
-
there is a problem, then let's deal with
-
it like the word of God says. Go to your
-
brother and sister and try to make. If
-
it doesn't work, bring an elder with you
-
and let's figure this thing out. And if
-
they still will not reconcile, let the
-
spiritual leadership make the final
-
decision on that. and you don't be
-
guilty of anything that's going to put
-
you in harm or distance you from God.
-
Let's get back to doing these things
-
biblically. Amen.
-
>> I'm not naive to sit here and think
-
ain't somebody here going to get upset
-
somebody else. Okay. You you hang around
-
your family long enough. If Thanksgiving
-
goes a little too long, you know,
-
tensions may get a little high.
-
>> Come on. More we gather up, the more we
-
have things going on, the more we try to
-
do things for the Lord. I'm not naive to
-
think the enemy is not going to try to
-
bring division, but I'm going to go
-
ahead and let it be known right now. We
-
don't deal with it through harshness or
-
cancelling each other. We deal with it
-
through the love and the grace and the
-
power of God's word. Amen.
-
>> Come on. I need I need to know. Are you
-
committed to being that way? Come on.
-
Are you committed to being that way? If
-
we've got a problem, let's deal with it
-
biblically. Listen, if you can handle on
-
your own, please don't bring me into it.
-
I'm just being honest. I got enough
-
things that I'm dealing with right now.
-
I've got like five or six things stacked
-
up that I have to deal with before
-
Sunday. All right? Doesn't mean I don't
-
have time for it, but I'm gonna tell
-
you, be a mature Christian.
-
>> Be a mature believer.
-
Okay?
-
>> And you can I believe in you.
-
I believe in you that you can do it. I
-
believe in you. Okay? I don't know where
-
that came from. Very good.
-
Gossip,
-
addiction, and drunkenness is a threat
-
at the threshold.
-
allowing addictions to take control and
-
control everything about your life. Can
-
I tell you it is not God's will for you
-
to be addicted?
-
>> Drugs, alcohol, come on. I can go
-
further than that. Do we need to go any
-
further? I think you can read between
-
the lines and figure this thing out. I'm
-
going to go and say it. Pornography. You
-
should not be addicted to pornography.
-
You should get that thing broken and get
-
it out of your life. Get it out of your
-
marriage.
-
>> Come on, somebody. And get those threats
-
away from the threshold. God has a
-
destiny for you. And if those things are
-
in the way, you cannot readily step
-
where God says step.
-
>> These are threats.
-
Let's see. Where am I at?
-
I don't got them numbered.
-
I'll just go with this one. Sexual
-
immorality.
-
Sexual sin. Let's go ahead and touch the
-
whole gamut. Adultery is a threat at the
-
threshold.
-
>> All right.
-
Adultery,
-
>> physical and emotional relationships are
-
a threat at the threshold.
-
>> You say, "Well, it's just an innocent
-
office relationship." No, it's not.
-
>> Ask my work wife. No, it ain't.
-
>> You've got a wife. Quit it.
-
That's my work husband. No, it ain't
-
your work husband. Your husband is at
-
work busting his tail to take care of
-
your family and you're out there having
-
emotional affairs in the name of Jesus.
-
Stop it.
-
>> Hello.
-
>> Let's fix this one. Sex outside of
-
marriage.
-
You ain't married. Stop it.
-
>> You guys ain't saying nothing.
-
>> Either either y'all are like pastor
-
don't normally talk like this or don't
-
say nothing cuz he'll think it's me.
-
>> Anything like that. Let let's go ahead
-
and deal with this. Homosexuality is a
-
sin,
-
>> right? It is a perversion.
-
>> It's an abomination before the Lord. It
-
goes against his original creative work.
-
When God created male and female, he did
-
not create two males to dwell together
-
in a marital relationship or two
-
females. He created Adam and Eve. That
-
was his first creative work in the word
-
of God. And when the enemy comes in like
-
this and tries to pervert what God did,
-
I'm telling you, it is a sin from the
-
enemy.
-
>> It is bondage.
-
>> And it will put us in that place.
-
I got some plans.
-
>> I got some plans to combat that and it's
-
going to be great because I believe I I
-
just go ahead and say it like this right
-
here. I think it was Jahoo that came up
-
to the window whenever Jezebel was up in
-
the up in the tower and and looked up
-
there and I think he said something
-
along the lines, are you for me or
-
against me or if you're on my side? And
-
he was talking to the two unics that
-
were in that room. If you know what a
-
unic is, that means that they once were
-
one gender and now they've been become
-
another one. Maybe not by choice.
-
>> Come on. It represented a generation
-
that's in the LGBTQI
-
plusa that category and they're living
-
in that broken lifestyle and they're
-
living in that deceived lifestyle where
-
the enemy has deceived them to think
-
that that's the right way to go. Can I
-
tell you there's going to be a time when
-
Jah is going to stand up again and say,
-
"Are you on my side or against me?" And
-
I believe they're going to be the ones
-
that kill Jezebel in the church. And
-
there becomes a revival. Come on,
-
somebody. In the homosexual community, I
-
speak that prophetically in the name of
-
Jesus. The enemy is hijacked the rainbow
-
for long enough. It belongs to the Lord.
-
It is a symbol that he will not destroy
-
them again. Every time they wave that
-
rainbow, all they're doing is crying out
-
for mercy anyways from God, saying,
-
"Please don't destroy me." And I BELIEVE
-
GOD'S GOING TO SHOW UP AND DO SOMETHING
-
INCREDIBLE. COME ON. HOW MANY YOU
-
BELIEVE THAT THERE'S A REVIVAL COMING TO
-
THAT COMMUNITY THROUGH THE POWER OF GOD?
-
>> Speak it by power and by authority.
-
>> My God.
-
>> Sexual immorality.
-
>> I don't know if I covered all of them or
-
not, but there you go. If I didn't show
-
up Sunday, I'll probably touch the rest
-
of them.
-
The offense
-
from Israel, watch this, was not about
-
distance in Ezekiel chapter 43 verse
Ezekiel 43 chapter mention
-
number 8. It was about nearness without
-
reverence.
-
They had proximity, but they did it with
-
the wrong heart posture,
-
which led to something dangerous. And
-
this is where I think many of the people
-
in the American church are today.
-
is because they have familiarity.
-
That familiarity bred a spirit of
-
defilement for the house of God. They
-
got too familiar with the supernatural
-
and counted it as common. When God said,
-
"If I call something uncommon, don't you
-
call it common."
-
>> Like what God did in here on Sunday,
-
that is not a common thing.
-
>> We will never call that common. That was
-
a supernaturally power of God that moved
-
in this house and shifted families and
-
shifted eternity for people's life. I'm
-
telling you, God did something
-
significant. And I'm telling you, he's
-
going to continue to do it in this house
-
>> as long as our eyes stay on him.
-
We'll say this. God is not your buddy.
-
He is not your sugar daddy.
-
>> Come on. He's not your homeboy.
-
He is Lord of all.
-
>> He is Lord of all.
-
>> Now, one place in the word of God where
-
I saw this and I'm uh yeah, I'm
-
hurrying. I want to make sure we match
-
up for back there, but I want to I want
-
to share this scripture. Um this is in
-
uh 2 Kingsapter 16:es 10-18. says, "Now
-
King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet
-
Tiglath Pilzer, the king of Assyria, a a
-
pagan king, a a a non-believer, someone
-
who did not live according to the laws
-
of God." And watch this. While King Ahaz
-
was there, he saw an altar that was at
-
Damascus. King Ahaz sent to Uriah the
-
priest the design of the altar and its
-
pattern according to all its
-
workmanship. Then Uriah the priest built
-
an altar according to all that King Ahaz
-
sent him from Damascus. So Uriah the
-
priest made it before King Ahaz. Came
-
back from Damascus. And the Bible says
-
that when they came back, you can read
-
this for yourself later. When they came
-
back, they began to sprinkle the blood,
-
the peace offering. They made sacrifices
-
on an offering that was designed after a
-
pagan God for the people of God when God
-
had already given them a design for his
-
altar.
-
>> They took something that was secular,
-
that was not God's plan, and they tried
-
to mix it with sacred sacrifices that
-
were going on in the house of God.
-
>> And you see this picture, HE ALTERED THE
-
ALTAR to match pagan patterns. And can I
-
tell you, if we're not careful, the
-
enemy will convince us that there's a
-
different way that's better than the way
-
God designed.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> Watch this. God already gave them a
-
design for the altar. But Ahaz
-
compromised and mixed the sacred and the
-
secular together. What does that refer
-
back to in the New Testament? Matthew
-
15:es 8-9. These people draw near to me
-
with their mouth, and they honor me with
-
their lips, but their heart is far from
-
me. Amen.
-
>> Ahaz was trying to FIGURE OUT A
-
DIFFERENT WAY TO DO IT WHEN HE ALREADY
-
had the plan of God.
-
>> Already heard the voice of God. And I
-
want you to SEE THIS. THIS SPIRIT OF
-
COMPROMISE and mixing sacred and secular
-
is a spiritual yoke. But it IS ALSO A
-
HEART ISSUE IN THE LIVES of people. This
-
is where people honor with lips their
-
words and even service to the Lord, BUT
-
THEY DECIDE TO STILL GOVERN themselves
-
after their own heart's desire and their
-
own uh their own seeking and their own
-
pleasures.
-
>> And that becomes a covenant treason, not
-
even a casual sin in the eyes of God.
-
Because watch this, compromise
-
will lead to sin.
-
Sin will lead to a stronghold. And a
-
stronghold will lead to an abomination
-
before God.
-
A compromise that is not identified,
-
which is what I'm trying to do tonight,
-
identify compromise,
-
if it's not identified, it will lead to
-
sin. If a sin is left unconfronted,
-
it will lead to a stronghold in
-
somebody's life. And you can watch this
-
pattern. They they they compromise a
-
little bit. I'm going to give a little
-
bit. And they end up sinning. And that
-
sin, when it's not left unchecked, it
-
will end up being a stronghold. And then
-
a stronghold that is unbroken by the
-
power of the Holy Spirit turns into an
-
abomination. And abomination leads to
-
death.
-
You see the pattern? It trickle,
-
trickle, trickle, trickle, and it ends
-
in death. The wages of sin is death. But
-
the gift of God, come on somebody, is
-
eternal life through Jesus Christ our
-
Lord. Anybody thankful for eternal life
-
tonight? Come on. I I'm thankful for
-
eternal life. I I want you to stand to
-
your feet all over the house. I I'm I'm
-
going to I'm gonna skip here.
-
The beauty of this is is that Jesus
-
himself left uh he left instructions for
-
us and we see his actions whenever he
-
found a place that was defiled. Y'all
-
remember the story in the New Testament
-
where Jesus came to approach the temple
-
and he found them selling and exchanging
-
goods. Oh yeah, you know that you get a
-
really beautiful picture of how the
-
anger of the Lord rose up in that
-
moment. If you go back, I think one of
-
the episodes of The Chosen depicts that
-
that particular scene. Jesus is flipping
-
tables and man, he's beating people with
-
whips and burning things down. I mean,
-
it was pretty it was pretty exciting. I
-
thought that was pretty cool. I was
-
like, "Yeah, anytime he got after the
-
Pharisees in that in that series, I was
-
like, that's my Jesus right there. Let's
-
go." He was fighting them. And but I
-
want you to see, he left us a pattern
-
that if there is something, if there is
-
compromise, do not let it settle in.
-
Do not let it settle in. If compromise
-
is identified, flip the table and get it
-
out.
-
>> And so tonight, I tried my best not to
-
name names and name specific things, but
-
I think there were some things I had to
-
call out by the word of the Lord
-
tonight. But I pray through this that
-
the Lord has been revealing in you.
-
Maybe some things that uh could
-
potentially be threats at the threshold.
-
Again, I'm not here to point fingers and
-
say, "Oh, how dare you?" I'm here to
-
bring a warning from a as a watchman on
-
the wall that the enemy is going to
-
bring threats to your threshold this
-
year.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> But you have to be spiritually
-
discerning enough to recognize them when
-
you come. How do I recognize the threats
-
of the enemy? You've got to have a good
-
grip on who your God is.
-
>> And if you have a good grip on his
-
character through his word, then when
-
the enemy shows up, you will not have to
-
question whether that's the enemy or
-
not. You will 100% know through the
-
discernment of the spirit of God that
-
does not match up with my Savior's
-
character and something ain't right. You
-
know, you've had that feeling before.
-
Something just don't feel right.
-
>> Trust that feeling.
-
>> That is the Holy Spirit speaking to you.
-
>> Do not mute him and say, "Well, I I I've
-
known them for years." No. If the Holy
-
Spirit speaks to you, you listen to him.
-
>> You listen to him. Amen. Amen.
-
>> We're not going to be mixing sacred and
-
secular in this house. I want you to
-
understand this that when Jesus cleansed
-
the temple, he drove out those mixing
-
the sacred and the secular together.
-
Watch this. Hebrews chapter 10 in verse
Hebrews 10 chapter mention
-
19 through 22. It says, "Therefore,
-
brethren, having the boldness to enter
-
into or enter the holiest by the blood
-
of Jesus by a new and living way which
-
he consecrated for us through the veil."
-
Watch this. Stepping across that
-
threshold that is his flesh and having a
-
priest over the house of God. Let us
-
draw near with a true heart in a full
-
assurance of faith. Having our hearts
-
sprinkled from an evil conscience and
-
our bodies washed with a pure water. We
-
enter through his access point, not our
-
access point.
-
>> And here's what I love about this. Jesus
-
doesn't stand beside the threshold.
-
Jesus is the threshold.
-
Anybody thankful for that tonight? I I'm
-
thankful. I'm thankful. He is my
-
threshold. He is my threshold. Now, I
-
don't want to leave you on a sour note
-
because here's what the scripture says
-
in Ezekiel chapter 43. Watch this. Verse
Ezekiel 43 chapter mention
-
number verse number nine. Says, "Now let
-
them put their harlotry and the
-
carcasses of their kings far away from
-
me." And watch this. If you'll do those
-
things, he says, "I will dwell in their
-
midst."
-
They had a choice.
-
He called it out. He identified it. The
-
prophet identified it and they had a
-
choice. If you'll remove these things,
-
if you'll get these things out, then
-
I'll show up and I'll dwell among you.
-
>> I don't know about you, but I'm thankful
-
for grace tonight.
-
>> I'm thankful for mercy tonight that
-
allows me to step back and say, "You
-
know what? I may have mixed some things
-
accidentally and maybe not even knowing.
-
It was not even on purpose. But God is
-
revealing that to me, not to chastise
-
me, but to say, "Hey, listen. I see
-
this. I'm identifying this. Now, we've
-
got a choice. Let's distance oursel from
-
that and let's allow the word of God to
-
drive the enemy right out of our life."
-
>> Because the flesh will wreak havoc on
-
your mind. The enemy will wreak havoc on
-
your life. But tonight, if your mind's
-
made up, watch this. You're about to
-
step across some thresholds and see what
-
God's going to do.
-
>> This is a season where God is removing
-
uh uh uh walls that are shared mixed
-
thresholds and divided access points.
-
And watch this sacred the sacredness of
-
his power will be honored and the
-
secular will be refused and removed from
-
this house in Jesus name because God is
-
reclaiming what rightfully belongs to
-
him. Can you say amen tonight? How many
-
received a thing from the word of God
-
tonight? Anybody thankful? Come on. Can
-
we give God a praise? Pastor Robbie, if
-
you'd come and close us out in prayer
-
tonight, I I want I want to say this
-
over each one of you. My heart was not
-
to point fingers or be abusive or beat
-
the sheep tonight, but my heart was to
-
wake you up a little bit to let you know
-
that the enemy, he really is out to
-
steal and kill and destroy your life.
-
And and if he wasn't playing for keeps,
-
I probably would preach a little nicer,
-
you know? I'd probably be a little
-
nicer. But I'm not preaching to be mad
-
at you. I'm preaching because I'm mad at
-
the enemy.
-
>> I'm mad at what he's doing. But here's
-
the beauty of it is we're about to step
-
into some victory together. And God's
-
about to do some great things. Amen. Can
-
we one more time give the Lord a hand of
-
praise all over the
