The Bleeding King | Pastor Jesse Jernigan | 4.3.26 (Sermon)

So, is anybody ready for the word

tonight? I I I just feel I feel like

preaching. And I want you to take your

Bibles, go with me to Luke chapter 22.

Luke 22 · chapter mention

Luke chapter number 22. And uh I'm going

to read a few verses there. And then

we're going to shift over to Hebrews.

And I believe the Lord is going to speak

to us in a uh supernatural way tonight.

I'm going to make this quick, fast, in a

hurry because here's what I know. I

believe the Lord is going to do

something significant in the altar. So

don't don't check out early. I believe

we're going to see some people touched

by the power of God. Our ministers are

going to be ready to lay hands on

everybody that wants to be prayed for.

And I believe that God's going to show

up. So, when you get Luke chapter 22,

verse number, let's go to verse number

41. Um, and when you get there, say, "I

got it."

>> All right, that sounds good. If you

don't, it'll be on the screen behind me.

And, uh, and we can take take a look

there and see what the word of God says.

The Bible says, "And he was withdrawn

from them about a stone's throw." And it

says, "And he knelt down and prayed,

saying, Father, if it is your will, take

this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my

will, but yours be done." Then an angel

appeared to him from heaven,

strengthening him. And the Bible says

this in verse 44, "And being in agony,

he prayed more earnestly. Then his sweat

became like great drops of blood falling

down to the ground. Falling down to the

ground. Hebrews chapter 12 verse number

four.

If you don't get there in time, it'll be

on the screen for you. Bible says, "You

have not yet resisted to bloodshed,

striving against sin."

My bedrock text is going to be verse 44.

If we can back up there one more time,

just to verse number 44. Being in agony,

he prayed more earnestly. Then his sweat

became like great drops of blood falling

down to the ground. Can you say amen to

the word of God tonight? I I want to

preach on this thought, this simple

subject, the bleeding king. The bleeding

king. Father, thank you for your word.

Thank you for your goodness, your mercy.

I pray, Lord, that your word would come

in power and authority. And Lord, you

would change every heart. you would

change the atmosphere in this moment

because I believe we're about to step

into something significant, something

powerful. And God, we give you praise.

In Jesus name we pray. And everybody

says, "Amen." And amen. You may be

seated in the presence of the Lord.

Tonight, I want to say this as we begin

this message tonight. We must first uh

simply recognize

the significance and power of the blood

of Jesus Christ. Many times we in the in

this western mindset in this western

church will get to a point to where we

want to sanitize the gospel to the point

that it doesn't make people

uncomfortable and it doesn't require

sacrifice or it doesn't require a laying

down of self on the cross itself and

saying I'm going to crucify my flesh

today because that makes people

uncomfortable because a lot of times if

we're being honest many of the gospels

that is being presented in this western

mindset in this western church that has

really forgotten about the authority of

Christ. It is all about me, myself, and

I and what I can get out of this gospel.

How does this benefit me? How can I be a

better myself? And how how what what

give me five ways to be a better

Christian. Give me five ways to be a

better man. Give me five ways to do all

the things. Well, I can really boil it

down to one way. Give me one way to get

my heart right. And if I can crucify

that flesh and I can submit to the will

of God, can I tell you he will take

everything that's wrong in your life and

he will make it right through his power

and his grace. Is there anybody thankful

today that he can make everything that's

wrong in your life right in just an

instant? But the fact is that we have

sanitized the gospel to the point that

we don't even recognize the significance

of the power of the blood of Jesus

Christ anymore. when really when it

boils down to it, that is the centrality

of our faith and understanding who our

God really is. For you see that I this

is what our entire FAITH HINGES ON.

EVERY OTHER RELIGION ON THE FACE OF the

earth at some point or another requires

requires that you be the one who brings

a sacrifice or you be the one who comes

and lays everything down. But I love

Christianity because it takes us to a

point where a God came from heaven and

substituted himself for us. Because if

we're really honest, we deserve death.

We deserve hell. But because of the

grace and mercy of God, he stepped in

and showed himself powerful and SAID, "I

WILL BE THE eternal sacrifice for those

people who have no HOPE WITHOUT ME." FOR

WE UNDERSTAND IT WASN'T just any blood

that was spilled on the ground on the

way to Calvary. IT WASN'T JUST ANY

PERSON THAT SPILLED HIS BLOOD. It was

precious blood. It was royal blood. And

can I tell you, it was the blood of the

King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

Hebrews 9:22 says, "In fact, according

Hebrews 9:22

to the law of Moses, nearly everything

was purified with blood. FOR WITHOUT THE

SHEDDING OF BLOOD, there is no

forgiveness." I want you to understand

the law required blood to cover sin.

When you go back to the Old Testament,

they had to bring their uh their

spotless lamb. They had to bring the

goats and the bulls and all these things

to be a a a sacrifice for the sins they

had committed up to that point so that

they could be forgiven. That was the

pattern that God set out and they obeyed

it to the best of their ability. But I

want you to understand now, I'm so

thankful that one greater than bulls and

one greater than goats and doves blood

WAS SPILLED ON THAT BEAUTIFUL Good

Friday. HIS BLOOD WAS THE ONLY THE ONE

AND ONLY SACRIFICE THAT WAS necessary

then. And I'm so thankful it was THE ONE

AND ONLY SACRIFICE THAT IS necessary

today for you and I. And I want to tell

you, it was made and he spilled his

blood to cover the sin of the entire

world. And that includes you and me. I

don't know about you, but I'm thankful

for that tonight. Can somebody praise

God for the fact that his blood covers a

multitude of sins? I I Let me Let me

just go ahead and say this. Let's get

together and I'll preach this thing a

lot quicker. Is anybody thankful for the

blood of Jesus? Tonight,

I I I'm going to ask you to get a little

bit rowdy with me ON A GOOD FRIDAY

BECAUSE we're going to practice for

Sunday because I DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO

come in that's never been to church or

they haven't been to church in a while

to have a church and walk into a church

that refuses to praise. But I'm going to

ask you to just get a little practice

WITH ME TONIGHT WHEN WE START talking

about forgiveness and we start talking

about the blood and we start talking

about the resurrection. I need a fired

up church on Sunday. LET'S PRACTICE

TONIGHT. ANYBODY FIRED UP THAT YOU'RE ON

YOUR WAY TO HEAVEN? Come on.

OH, HALLELUJAH. I COULD NOT MAKE IT

WITHOUT THE BLOOD. I COULD NOT MAKE IT

WITHOUT THE CROSS. I COULD NOT MAKE IT

WITHOUT HIS LOVE. BUT TONIGHT, I STAND

HERE AND SAY, "THANK YOU, JESUS, FOR

YOUR FORGIVENESS, FOR YOUR POWER AND

YOUR GRACE."

>> HALLELUJAH. Look at your neighbor. Say,

"He did it for you."

I want you to know we ARE CALLED TO

RESIST SIN IN THE SHADOW OF THIS

UNDERSTANDING, THIS DEEP REVELATION THAT

THE BLOOD WAS FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD. And

because JESUS MODELED THIS FROM THE

GARDEN ALL THE WAY TO THE THRONE, we too

can overcome sin in this life. We do not

HAVE TO BE TRIPPED up every day with

sin.

>> Hello, somebody. I hear people say,

"Well, pastor, I just fell into sin."

No, you didn't fall into sin. You let it

get into your life.

>> Come on. Nobody trips into sin. You

allowed to come in through compromise.

But God has called us to RESIST EVIL, TO

RESIST the enemy. And I want you to know

because he OVERCAME FROM THE GARDEN to

the throne. You and I can overcome as

well. SO WE DON'T COWER AT SIN. WE DON'T

STEP BACK and take a backseat TO SIN.

WHAT WE DO THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS

CHRIST IS we press in TO VICTORY THAT

WAS BOUGHT THROUGH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF

JESUS CHRIST. WE DON'T COWER BACK BUT

BECAUSE OUR KING BLED today we are

overcomers through the power and the

might of God. Can you say amen?

>> Won't you see that there are a few

accounts that scripture records where

the blood that Jesus spilled was

recorded and written down? where his

blood is being spilled publicly and

watch this. Publicly and at the hands of

other people, we we KNOW THE STORY AND I

DON'T I DON'T MEAN TO BE redundant

tonight, but we know the story of the

cross. WE MANY OF YOU that are here

tonight, YOU YOU YOU PROBABLY HAVE

WATCHED IT MAYBE THIS WEEK, maybe went

back and watched the passion and maybe

you went back and read those scriptures

again to refresh your mind ON WHAT HE

DID. BUT I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT FOUR OF

THESE SPECIFIC areas where his BLOOD WAS

SPILLED PUBLICLY, BUT IT WAS ONLY AT the

hands of other people. One of those was

when the crown of thorns was placed on

his head and jammed in his head. Many of

you have heard this. They took that

crown of thorns and placed it on his

head TO MOCK HIM AS the king of the

Jews. But what they did not understand

is that even in their uh ignorance, they

were stepping back and realizing that he

truly was the king of kings and the lord

of lords. Not only that, there was a

moment when he was being put on the

cross where THEY TOOK NAILS AND THEY

DROVE THEM into his hands and they drove

them into his feet. IT WAS AN ACT OF

AGGRESSION from people that did not KNOW

ANY BETTER CUZ YOU HEAR THE WORDS OF

CHRIST. HE SAID, "FATHER, FORGIVE THEM

CUZ THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THEY'RE

DOING IN THIS MOMENT. BUT WHAT THEY WERE

DOING IS DRIVING NAILS AND SOLIDIFYING

the love of Christ FOR 2026 TO LET US

KNOW IT WAS NOT THE NAILS that hung him

ON THE CROSS AND HELD HIM THERE, BUT IT

WAS DEEP LOVE FOR YOU AND I. IT WAS DEEP

love for our forgiveness. It was deep

LOVE FOR OUR FUTURE. BUT THEN ONLY THE

spear at the end when they were checking

TO SEE IF HE REALLY WAS ALIVE OR DEAD.

AND WHEN THAT SPEAR WENT IN, THE BIBLE

SAID BLOOD AND WATER CAME OUT AT THE

SAME TIME. that lets US KNOW THAT EVEN

IN DEATH, HE WAS STILL THE PURIFYING

FACTOR INSIDE OF OUR LIFE. HE WAS THE

WORD IN THE BEGINNING AND HE WAS THE

WORD when he was HANGING ON THE CROSS.

HE WAS THE WORD WHEN HE ROSE FROM THE

DEAD AND HE'S STILL THE WORD TODAY. THE

WATER REPRESENTS the word, but the blood

was mingled with the word to bring

forgiveness and purification TO OUR

LIFE. THE ENEMY THOUGHT HE WAS SNEAKY

AND WAS GOING TO PUT HIM TO SHAME. BUT

ALL HE WAS DOING WAS RELEASING SOMETHING

OUT OF A SAVIOR THAT WAS GOING TO come

to a generation to break every chain, TO

BREAK EVERY BONDAGE, TO BREAK EVERY

ADDICTION. COME ON, SOMEBODY. I BELIEVE

IN THE POWER OF THE WORD. I BELIEVE IN

THE POWER OF THE BLOOD. AND SOMETIMES

IT'S GOING TO TAKE BOTH TO GET IT OFF OF

A GENERATION.

This was public IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY.

BUT THEN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT, YOU

SEE A SPECTACLE THAT BROKE OUT AT THE

WHIPPING POST. AND LAST NIGHT, ME AND MY

FAMILY SAT IN THE LIVING ROOM AND WE

WATCHED AGAIN on the passion of the

Christ. WE WATCHED FROM THE WHIPPING

POST ALL THE WAY TO THE RESURRECTION ON

WHAT OUR SAVIOR DID for us. And we sat

ON THE COUCH AND JUST WEPT AND CRIED

LOOKING AT HOW INTENSE THE PAIN WAS AND

THE FACT THAT HE DID NOT CARE THAT WE

WERE LOST AND BOUND. HE DID IT IN SPITE

OF OUR MESS, IN SPITE OF OUR MISTAKES,

IN SPITE OF WHAT WE'VE BEEN THROUGH. HE

ENDURED THE WHIPPING. AND I TOLD THEM, I

SAID, "THE ROMAN SOLDIERS IN THAT MOMENT

WHEN THEY WERE WHIPPING HIM, IF THEY LET

UP FOR ANY AMOUNT OF TIME AND GAVE HIM A

BREAK, THEY WOULD TIE them to the

whipping post and take care OF THEM IN

THAT MOMENT. SO, THEY DID NOT COME WITH

A HALFWAY SWING. THEY GAVE IT EVERYTHING

they had. THEY WERE MOCKING. THEY WERE

THROWING STONES AT HIM. THEY WERE

WHIPPING HIM WITH THE CAT OF NINE HELLS.

BUT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU, IT WAS A

PUBLIC SPECTACLE AT THE HANDS OF MEN.

>> It was a public spectacle at the hands

of men. And I want us TO UNDERSTAND IN

THIS HOUSE THAT ISAIAH 53:5 RECORDED IT.

Isaiah 53:5

WHY JESUS DID ALL THIS? BECAUSE HE WAS

WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS. HE WAS

BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES. AND THE

CHASTISEMENT of our peace WAS UPON HIM.

AND BY HIS STRIPES, we are healed. He

did it for A PURPOSE. HE DIDN'T GO

THROUGH IT JUST TO GO THROUGH PAIN AND

SAY, "I WANT PEOPLE TO WORSHIP ME." HE

DID IT BECAUSE IF HE DID NOT GO THROUGH

IT, WE WOULD BE WITHOUT hope tonight.

>> But I'm thankful tonight that he did not

just GIVE UP HALFWAY, BUT HE WENT ALL

THE WAY TO THE CROSS. THAT HE ENDURED

THE SP the shame. HE ENDURED THE

RIDICULE. HE ENDURED THE PAIN SO THAT

YOU AND I COULD BE FREE. CUZ I WANT YOU

TO UNDERSTAND, THE BLOOD THAT HE SPILLED

WAS NOT SPILLED HALFHAZARDLY. IT WAS

INTENSE. BUT IT WAS ALSO INTENTIONAL. IF

YOU SEE THIS, HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR

TRANSGRESSIONS, BUT HE WAS BRUISED FOR

OUR INIQUITIES. WHAT IS A BRUISE,

PASTOR? A bruise IS AN OUTWARD

MANIFESTATION of inward bleeding. Can I

TELL YOU THAT OUR SAVIOR NOT ONLY DIED

FOR YOUR PHYSICAL NEEDS, BUT HE DIED FOR

YOUR EMOTIONAL NEEDS. IN YOUR MIND, HE

WAS BRUISED. SO THE INWARD HEART HURTING

AND THE PAIN ON THE INSIDE OF US WOULD

FIND HEALING AS WELL. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT

YOU, BUT I FOUND THAT INNER HEALING BY

HIS POWER AND BY HIS GRACE. IT DIDN'T

COME THROUGH SOME NEW AGE MESS. IT CAME

THROUGH THE POWER OF THE BLOOD OF JESUS

CHRIST. HE WAS WOUNDED. HE WAS BRUISED

FOR MY INIQUITIES. I'M THANKFUL FOR THE

BLOOD TONIGHT.

>> It was intense, BUT IT WAS ALSO

INTENTIONAL in our LIFE BECAUSE THE

BLOOD BROUGHT SALVATION to our lives.

The blood brought HEALING IN OUR BODY,

OUR SOUL, and our spirit. WATCH THIS.

THE BLOOD BROUGHT DELIVERANCE.

>> Come on, y'all know how it is. And then

the blood brought protection.

>> Let's go ahead and let's go old school

on this. I remember those church mothers

that would go around saying, "I plead

the blood of Jesus."

>> Anybody Anybody can go back with me on

that and say, "I remember, pastor." And

for those of you who don't, what are

they doing? They're walking around

saying, "I plead the blood. I plead the

blood." They may have a lost son or a

lost daughter that's out there in the

world, but they said, "I plead the

blood." Because they knew if I, as a

believer, plead the blood, protection is

going to show up. Salvation's going to

show up. Deliverance is going to show

up. Healing is GOING TO SHOW UP. THAT'S

WHY I THINK WE NEED TO GET BACK TO

pleading the blood again over every part

OF OUR LIFE. I DON'T I'M NOT ASHAMED OF

THE BLOOD. I'M NOT ASHAMED OF THE CROSS.

I'M NOT ASHAMED OF WHAT HE DID FOR ME,

BUT I WANT TO ACTIVATE THE BLOOD IN MY

LIFE TO THE POINT THAT I SAY NO MATTER

WHERE I GO, NO MATTER WHERE I AM, NO

MATTER WHAT I HAVE TO FACE, I DECLARE

THAT I PLEAD THE BLOOD. AND THE ENEMY

CANNOT STOP THE BLOOD. THE ENEMY CANNOT

DISCOUNT THE BLOOD. THE ENEMY CANNOT

COUNTERACT THE BLOOD. MATTER OF FACT,

THE BLOOD COUNTERACTS SIN. THE BLOOD

COUNTERACTS DEMONS. THE BLOOD

COUNTERACTS EVERY WARLOCK. AND I DECLARE

THAT THROUGH THE BLOOD, WE'RE GOING TO

TAKE VICTORY INTO THE ENEMY'S CAMP AND

SAY, "DEVIL, BACK UP OFF THIS

GENERATION." COME ON. IS THERE ANYBODY

ON A FRIDAY NIGHT THAT'LL SAY, "I

BELIEVE A BLEEDING KING DIDN'T DO IT

WITHOUT BEING INTENTIONAL." I'M THANKFUL

FOR THE BLOOD of Jesus.

I'm thankful for the blood

>> BECAUSE IF IT HAD NOT BEEN FOR the

blood,

>> WE WOULD BE LOST and undone tonight.

>> And I know this is not popular build my

church messages. But can I tell you, I

don't want to build this church on

anything other than the sacrifice of

Christ.

>> Come on.

>> If you're expecting me to get to like

five points of better health and all

that stuff and me all that stuff, I I'm

just not. If we can get back to the

blood, I believe he'll secure our

future.

>> If we can get back to the blood, I

believe he'll secure our children. If we

can get back to the blood again, I

believe generations after us, the legacy

will not be, "Look what we built, but

the legacy WILL BE LOOK WHAT THE BLOOD

OF JESUS BROUGHT TO OUR LIFE AND BROUGHT

TO OUR FUTURE AND BROUGHT TO US THROUGH

HIS POWER and his grace."

I want to back up and backtrack for just

a second to a place where Jesus was

absolutely no stranger

and talking about the blood. And this

was a moment that that Jesus often went

to this beautiful place called

Gethsemane. It was a place that he

frequented in prayer and it was an hour

of prayer in the garden. I want you to

understand that Jesus didn't do it out

of habit. Jesus did it because he knew

it was important to pray.

>> Come on. You say, "Well, pastor, Jesus

prayed." Yes, Jesus prayed.

>> Look at the gospels. There's a lot of

times he left everybody by theirelves

standing there wondering what to do next

and he went up by himself in a solitude

and he prayed.

>> And so I I will backtrack and say this.

If Jesus needed to pray,

>> hello somebody.

>> Hello. We need to get back to prayer

again.

>> Come on. And I'm not talking about just

a little Lord, hey, take care of me. I

think we need to get back to intense,

intentional prayer again. I'm not here

to put anybody on blast. I'm just going

to tell you, however your prayer life

was last week, let's turn the heat up

this week. Can I get an amen? Come on.

You say, "Pastor, do I have to pray for

five hours a day?" If you can do it, it

ain't going to be you ain't going to

bring no shame. It's only going to bring

you closer to the Lord. Because here's

what I understand is that there is a

pipeline of power that the church has

missed because we said, "LET'S JUST

FORGET ABOUT THESE HOURS OF PRAYER AND

FORGET ABOUT SEEKING THE FACE OF GOD.

FORGET ABOUT HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD."

NO, WE'VE GOT TO GET BACK TO HEARING HIS

VOICE AGAIN. CUZ WHEN HE SPEAKS, POWER

COMES. HOW DO I KNOW THAT? THE BIBLE

SAYS IT LIKE THIS. WHERE THE WORD OF A

KING IS, there is power. SO IF HE'S

SPEAKING IN THE ROOM, COME ON. I'M GOING

TO TELL YOU, NO DEVIL CAN STOP IT. NO

ENEMY CAN STOP IT. THE ENEMY THAT WOULD

TRY TO DETER EVERY CHURCH FROM STEPPING

UP. WHEN THE KING STEPS IN AND SPEAKS,

GLORY WILL HIT THE house again

>> because we got to get back to prayer.

>> He frequented this place of prayer

because he knew the importance of

praying this night. However, even though

he had told his disciples previously,

stay here, watch and pray with me. I'm

going to go over here again. He

separated himself to make sure he could

hear the voice of the father clearly.

>> He stood back and this night took on a

whole new weight for Jesus that he had

not felt before.

There are sometimes in your life that

you will come up against circumstances

where the weight is something you cannot

carry. Where the weight is something

that you cannot bear on your own. where

the weight AND THE INTENSE PRESSURE that

you are going through feels like it is

weighing you down and pushing you away.

Can I tell you the enemy will try to use

that weight to PUSH YOU FROM GOD. BUT I

I believe the Holy Spirit will use that

weight to draw you to God.

>> So Jesus KNEW THE SECRET. AND IF JESUS

knew the secret THAT WHEN THE WEIGHT

GETS TOO INTENSE FOR ME, I'VE GOT TO

TAKE IT TO MY FATHER. Maybe we should

take a lesson from Jesus's playbook

tonight. WHEN THE ENEMY BRINGS ALL THESE

things in AND WE COME UP AGAINST

SOMETHING WE DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER FOR,

THEN WE'VE GOT TO STEP BACK AND SAY, "AM

I GOING TO TRY TO HANDLE THIS MYSELF OR

AM I GOING TO BE LIKE JESUS AND TAKE

THIS THING TO PRAYER AND SAY, LORD, I

DON'T HAVE ANY REFERENCE FOR THIS. I

DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO." AND WHEN WE DO,

I believe God will show up in our midst.

>> Hear my heart. As he was praying,

he was met with the reality that his

time had come.

that his time to be sacrificed had come.

So much SO THAT HE PRAYED A PRAYER LIKE

THIS. FATHER, IF IT BE YOUR WILL, let

this cup pass from me.

>> Can I tell you that if Jesus is praying

that kind of prayer, he is feeling

intense pressure.

>> HE IS STEPPING UP. AND YOU SAY, "WELL,

HE'S HE'S HE'S GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE

SON, and God the Holy Spirit, so he

DOESN'T NEED THAT." HE W HE PROBABLY

DIDN'T NEED IT IN THAT MOMENT NATURALLY.

BUT WHAT I WANT TO SHOW YOU IS he was

TRYING TO TEACH US BY EXAMPLE IN THAT

MOMENT THAT WHEN THE PRESSURE COMES, YOU

GO TO THE LORD. YOU don't run away from

the Lord.

>> THE WEIGHT MAY BE THERE, BUT JESUS WAS

TRYING TO LEAD BY EXAMPLE. LET US KNOW

THAT GOD, IF IT'S YOUR WILL FOR THIS

THING, IF IF THERE'S ANY OTHER WAY FOR

THIS TO TAKE PLACE, LET THIS specific

cup pass from me and give me a new plan.

I WOULD HAVE PROBABLY PRAYED THE SAME

THING.

>> I would rather not go to THE CROSS. IF

YOU GOT ANOTHER WAY, LET'S FIGURE it

out.

>> Come on.

>> HE SAID, BUT THE WORD THAT CAME UP AFTER

THAT in the New King James Version said,

"Nevertheless,

>> never the less."

>> He said, "I know I said that, BUT I

DON'T WANT THIS TO OUTWEIGH what you

desire."

Come on, somebody.

>> He's He GAVE US A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE THAT

WHEN GOD SPEAKS TO US, THERE'S A LOT OF

TIMES WE'RE NOT GOING TO WANT TO DO WHAT

GOD says do.

>> All right. I got three people that don't

that they just You guys always obey

instantly, right? Come on, y'all. Y'all

do everything God tells you to do.

You'll never miss it. You don't Come on,

just adjust your halo for a second.

Hello.

But I want you to see this. WHAT'S GOING

ON IS THAT HE HAD TO COME TO GRIPS

INSIDE OF HIMSELF. I would rather not,

BUT NEVERTHELESS, NOT my will, but your

will be done.

>> AND HE MADE A STATEMENT THAT ECHOED NOT

ONLY THEN IN THE HEARTS AND LIVES OF

THOSE THAT WERE FOLLOWING HIM, BUT IT

ECHOES TODAY INSIDE OF OUR HEARTS

BECAUSE THE REAL BATTLE WASN'T JUST THE

CROSS. IT WAS THE GARDEN THAT HE WAS IN.

THE CROSS WAS PUBLIC, BUT THE DECISION

WAS MADE IN PRIVATE.

>> COME ON. THE CROSS WAS THE EXECUTION OF

THE PLAN. BUT GETHSEMANE REPRESENTED

surrender in his heart. Because I WANT

YOU TO UNDERSTAND THIS VICTORY OVER SIN

DIDN'T START WHEN HE WAS CRUCIFIED. IT

STARTED WHEN HE SAID, "NOT MY WILL, BUT

YOUR WILL BE DONE."

>> OH, come on, somebody. I'm going to tell

you, if you WANT VICTORY IN YOUR LIFE,

YOU'VE GOT TO START IN THIS PLACE AND

SAYING, "GOD, NOT MY WILL, BUT YOUR WILL

BE DONE." BECAUSE MANY TIMES we end up

IN A BROKEN STATE BECAUSE WE TRY IT OUR

WAY, KNOWING FULL WELL GOD DID NEVER

TELL US TO DO IT THAT WAY. AND WE GOT TO

BACK UP AND SAY, "YOU KNOW WHAT? I MAY

HAVE BEEN WRONG, BUT GOD, IF YOU'LL TAKE

ME BACK, I'LL DO IT YOUR WAY THIS TIME."

IF, CUZ HERE'S WHAT I KNOW. MY GOD WILL

GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE TONIGHT. YOU

SAY, "PASTOR, I MADE A FOOL OF MY LIFE

AND I MESSED IT ALL UP." CAN I TELL YOU

ALL YOU GOT TO DO IS RUN BACK TO THE

FATHER AND HE'LL TAKE EVERYTHING AND

TURN IT AROUND FOR YOUR GOOD AND FOR HIS

GLORY. IS THERE ANYBODY THAT WOULD SAY,

"I TESTIFY TONIGHT. I CAN TESTIFY AND BE

A WITNESS THAT GOD TURNED SOME THINGS

AROUND FOR ME. HE TURNED SOME THINGS

AROUND FOR MY FAMILY AND HE'LL DO IT FOR

YOU, TOO.

>> Not my will, but yours be done. That's

the real fight. Because sometimes the

greatest temptation isn't just sin. It's

avoiding surrender to God.

It's choosing comfort over calling. It's

stepping away from the cost that God is

requiring of you and I. And the enemy

will try his best to talk you down from

doing what God has called you to do. To

tell you, don't be so intense ABOUT

SERVING GOD. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO ALL OF

THAT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PRAISE LIKE

THAT. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORSHIP LIKE

THAT. But watch this. THE ENEMY WILL TRY

TO CONVINCE you of all those things. But

you have to have something and some kind

of resolve that steps up in your heart

to where you say, "I HAVE TO GET THE

FIGHT BACK IN MY SPIRIT because I cannot

let the enemy take advantage of me

because if he takes advantage of me,

then my children are going to be the

recipients of that. And if my children

are the recipients, the generation after

them will BE THE RECIPIENT." SOMEWHERE

YOU GOT TO STEP UP AND SAY, "THE CYCLE

STOPS WITH ME." AND I'M THANKFUL THAT

THE BLOOD IS ABLE TO DELIVER. THE BLOOD

IS ABLE TO BRING DELIVERANCE TO OUR

LIFE. AND I YIELD TO THAT TONIGHT TO SAY

TONIGHT THE CYCLE CAN END WITH YOU IN

THIS HOUSE.

>> Can end with you in this house.

>> Cuz watch this. True resistance isn't

just saying no to sin. It's saying yes

to God.

We can we CAN SAY NO TO ALL THESE THINGS

BUT did you on the other side of that no

say yes to the Lord

>> and the question remains inside of us

because Jesus answered it. He said not

my will but your will be done. I will do

what you he was basically saying no to

himself and saying yes to his heavenly

father.

Jesus secured the victory

in the garden through his yes. Because

Jesus didn't fight his battle with his

own willpower. Watch this. He fought it

on his knees. He prayed. He surrendered.

And he pressed in deeper beyond what he

felt comfortable doing.

And I'll be honest with you, we read it

earlier. His sweat became as great drops

of blood. That sounds very uncomfortable

to me. Yes,

>> sir. I'm just being honest. I don't know

how that happens medically. I cannot

explain that. But I can tell you it was

intense.

>> It was intense because Jesus became

intense in that moment because the Bible

says it like this. Being in agony, watch

this. He was already in agony. He prayed

more earnestly.

>> He prayed more. He He had the pressure.

He ran to the Lord. HE WAS IN AGONY, BUT

HE PRAYED EVEN more earnestly. Watch

this. When the pressure increased on

Jesus, Jesus didn't back up. When the

attack was on, Jesus didn't run away. He

pressed in. Look at your neighbor and

say, "It's time to press in." Oh, come

on. I This is where I'm going to need a

little bit of help right here. You need

to look at them again and tell them,

"It's time to press in." Tell them,

"Don't be shy. Don't be weak." Because

I'm going to say this, and some of you

may not understand what I'm saying until

I get past this. But hear me and hear my

heart tonight. We don't need less

pressure. We need deeper prayer.

>> Come on, somebody. I I I wish I could

stand up here and say, YOU KNOW WHAT?

YOUR LIFE IS GOING TO BE A BED OF ROSES,

AND YOU'RE GOING TO BE IT'S JUST GOING

TO BE DANCING IN THE TULIPS EVERY SINGLE

DAY, AND IT'S ALL GOING TO BE GOOD AND

GRAVY. YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO FACE ANY

PRESSURE. BUT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU,

I'LL BE A PREACHER TO LOOK AT YOU AND

SAY, "WHEN YOU DECIDE TO SERVE JESUS,

THE ENEM IS GOING TO GET UPSET. THERE'S

GOING TO BE PRESSURE THAT COMES AGAINST

YOUR LIFE. BUT DON'T SAY, "GOD, GET ME

OUT OF THIS." YOU DIVE IN AND SAY, "GOD,

GET ME THROUGH THIS." IN JESUS NAME. CUZ

I BELIEVE WHAT DAVID SAID. YAY, THOUGH I

WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF

DEATH, I WILL FEAR NO EVIL. FOR YOU ARE

WITH ME. YOUR ROD AND YOUR STAFF, THEY

COMFORT ME. COME ON, SOMEBODY. I BELIEVE

THIS. HE'S GOING TO ANOINT YOUR HEAD

WITH OIL TONIGHT. YOUR CUP'S GOING TO

RUN OVER AND YOU'RE GOING TO SAY,

"SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY ARE GOING TO

FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE." IS

THERE ANYBODY THAT'S DETERMINED TO SAY,

"I'M NOT STOPPING. I'M GOING THROUGH."

THEN I DARE YOU TO PRAISE HIM RIGHT NOW.

HOW AM I GOING TO GET THROUGH, PASTOR?

THROUGH YOUR PRAISE. THROUGH YOUR

WORSHIP, THROUGH SAYING I KNOW GOD IS

ABLE. I KNOW IN WHOM I HAVE BELIEVED AND

I'M PERSUADED THAT MY GOD IS ABLE. 1 2

3. GIVE HIM PRAISE IN THE HOUSE.

>> I'M NOT GOING TO BACK DOWN. IF THE

PRESSURE INTENSIFIES IN MY LIFE, I WILL

RUN DEEPER IN MY PRAISE AND MY PRAYER.

>> PRESSURE, WATCH THIS, ISN'T there to

break you.

>> It's not there to break you. contrary to

what you feel. It's there to reveal

what's in you and to align you and align

us with the will of God for our life.

>> Cuz if you didn't have pressure, you

wouldn't call out to God.

>> Come on.

>> That old song used to say, "Through it

all, through it all,

I've learned to trust in Jesus." Right?

I've learned to trust in God. Through it

all, come on, y'all know that song.

Through it all,

I've learned to depend upon his word.

What did he say in the first verse? He

said, "If I never had a problem, I

wouldn't know God could solve it."

>> Come on. I I think this is where we need

to lean in with the younger generation

and let them know you're going to have

problems. That doesn't mean God doesn't

love you. That means the enemy hates you

because you look like God every time he

sees you.

>> Come on. Come on. Every time he looks at

you, it reminds you of what he did not

accomplish. It reminds him of what he

could not do. And that makes the enemy

upset. But you need to know if you'll

trust him, he'll bring you through

everything you have to face. AND YOU

WILL NOT LACK ANYTHING IN THE POWER AND

THE HOUSE IN the presence of God. Can

you say amen?

>> Watch this.

This is one thing that happened. It said

that he began or being in agony, he

prayed more earnestly. But then the next

part of that verse said, "Then his sweat

became as great drops of blood falling

to the ground."

I want you to understand

medically. I don't understand this. I I

would love to gain understanding of how

this could have happened. I'm sure

there's research out there, but I didn't

want to get bogged down in that because

I wanted to get bogged down in the

purpose of the message tonight. But I

want you to understand when people

experience intense emotional or physical

pressure, their body typically uh it

rushes as much of their blood as

possible to their heart and their vital

organs rather than allowing it to get

away. Why? Why is their body doing that?

Their body is trying its best to

preserve the only life that is left in

that body.

I had some crazy times in my life. One

time in particular, I remember we were

in high school and the Blood Mobile

showed up at our school.

Bad idea for me. I remember I was there.

Me and Sister Jill were dating and she

said, "I'm going to go get blood. You

should get blood." I said, "Not a good

idea." She said, "You're going to get

blood." I said, "Not a great idea. I'm

terrified. I'm scared. I I don't know

what to do." And she said, "No, you're

going to get blood. If I'm going to get

blood, you're going to get blood." Peer

pressure, man. Don't you let people talk

you into something you don't need to be

doing.

So I said, you know what I said? I said,

"No, I'm kidding." I said, "Yes, let's

go get blood." So we roll up in that in

that bus. I'm like, "This is going to be

great. I already know. I already know

it's going to be bad. I already I'm just

going to be embarrassing." So I lay down

and lady's like, "You scared of

needles?" I said, "Absolutely. I'm

scared of needles." I said, "Don't you

put that ice pick in me."

She said, "Well, listen. We're going to

roll up your sleeve. believe it's going

to be all right, honey. You're going to

be just fine. You know how they do. Talk

sweet to you like they know what they're

doing. So, we get there and I said,

"Well, listen. I'll look to the left.

You put the needle in." I said, "But you

better cover that thing up. I don't want

to see my blood draining out of my

body." And she was like, "Really?" I

said, "Yeah, put that put cover it up."

So, she put the needle in. And I was

like, "All right, not so bad." I felt a

little pinch. I was like, "This is

really uncomfortable, but it's fine."

And so, we're sitting there and she

gives me the little ball to squeeze and

all this different stuff. And she did.

She covered it up and all of a sudden

everything started closing in.

My vision got narrow and she she was she

was off talking. She left me by myself.

I was like, "What in the world? This

nurse thinks that she going to let me

die right here in the blood mobilebile."

I'm sitting there think I'm still

squeezing cuz that's what she told me to

do. Squeeze. I don't know if that

probably made it worse. I don't know.

But I got to the point that I was like I

was literally I was I was passing out

and I could I remember that moment

because this happened more than just

once in my life. This is just the first

story. I'll talk I'll talk about that

later. But I remember that moment. I I I

just felt that just woo. I felt like oh

yep I here I go. I've never felt I don't

know what dying feels like but I'm

pretty sure I'm dying.

And she comes back and she's like oh sir

sir sir sir are you okay? She smack in

the face and she's like are YOU ARE YOU

ARE ALL ARE YOU OKAY? AND I HAD enough

in me that I looked at her, had my eyes

barely open. I said, "It feels like the

life is being sucked out of me."

I DIDN'T REALIZE IN THAT MOMENT THAT MY

BODY WAS HAVING A REACTION TO THE FACT

THAT I KNEW BLOOD WAS BEING DRAINED. AND

WHEN I SAY DRAINED, LIKE Y'ALL, COME ON.

A little bit, a little tube, a little

baggie. I was They weren't taking all of

it. They left plenty for me. But my mind

got linked up with my body and told me

that I'm about to die even though I

didn't even know that. And my body

started to react to the circumstances

that were around me. And instead of

everything going, the blood rushed to

the innermost being of my life and it

started fading fast. Can I tell you

people will get to that point? It's a

fight orflight syndrome in their life.

This is why I This is why people that go

to war, they have a bu an ability to

keep their heart rate steady through an

event that's crazy and they're able to

go through there and maneuver and be

able to pay attention and have awareness

around them because they can control

that kind of part of their mind. Can I

tell you that some people GET TO THAT

POINT THAT EVERYTHING ELSE AROUND THEM

FAILS AND FALLS APART AND IT JUST FEELS

LIKE THE life is being sucked out of and

I felt that and I realized that's what

was happening to me in that moment. But

if we IF WE REVERSE BACK, THAT WAS ME.

Now let's look not at me. Let's look at

Jesus. Because Jesus, the Bible says, he

was in AGONY AND HE PRAYED EVEN MORE

EARNESTLY UNTIL HIS D HIS SWEAT BECAME

AS GREAT DROPS OF BLOOD FALLING ONTO THE

GROUND. AND I WANT YOU TO LOOK AT THE

SAVIOR IN AGONY IN THE GARDEN. HE WAS

completely selfless IN THIS MOMENT, NOT

THINKING ABOUT HIMSELF. INSTEAD of

suffering FOR INSTEAD OF HIS SUFFERING

CAUSING LIFE TO DRAW INWARD TO PRESERVE

HIMSELF, HIS SUFFERING CAUSED HIS VERY

LIFE TO BE POURED OUTWARD ONTO THE DUST

OF THE EARTH. WHO WAS MADE FROM THE DUST

OF THE EARTH? YOU AND I WERE made from

the dust of the earth. JESUS DIDN'T DRAW

LIFE IN WHEN THE PRESSURE CAME. He

released life out to EVERYBODY AROUND

HIM. HE WASN'T INTERESTED IN PRESERVING

HIMSELF IN THE GARDEN. HE WAS DETERMINED

TO SAVE ALL OF HUMANITY. AND I want to

tell you THIS SHOWS THAT CHRIST

SUFFERING WAS COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY. THIS

WAS THE MOST POWERFUL MOMENT TO ME IN

THE ENTIRE DEPICTION OF THE OF THE LAST

PASSION OF THE CHRIST IS HIS BLEEDING

STARTED IN THE GARDEN WITH NO ONE

DRIVING IT OUT OF HIM. NO WHIP, NO CROWN

OF THORNS, NO REED, NO NO NAILS IN HIS

HANDS AND HIS FEET, NO SPEAR, NO

COMPULSION BY ANYBODY ELSE. HIS BLOOD

WAS POURED OUT AT HIS WILL BECAUSE HE

KNEW IF I BRING IT IN, IT'S NEVER GOING

TO SAVE ANYBODY. BUT IF I LET IT RELEASE

OVER THIS PRESSURE RIGHT NOW, THEN

SOMETHING'S GOING TO HAPPEN. I WANT YOU

TO UNDERSTAND WHAT MAN WOULD LATER DRAW

OUT WITH VIOLENCE HAD ALREADY HE HAD

ALREADY RELEASED THROUGH SURRENDER. AND

I WANT TO TELL YOU IN THIS HOUSE, JESUS

IS SAYING TODAY THAT YOU DIDN'T TAKE

THAT BLOOD FROM ME, NOBODY CAN PULL IT

OUT OF MY LIFE IN THE GARDEN. HE SAID,

"BEFORE ANYBODY LAYS A WHIP ON ME, I'M

GOING TO GO AHEAD AND TAKE CARE OF THE

SINS OF THE WORLD IN THIS MOMENT." IS

THERE ANYBODY IN THE HOUSE THAT WOULD

SAY, "I'M THANKFUL THAT MY SAVIOR DIDN'T

HOLD IT TO HIMSELF, BUT HE SAID, IN THE

MIDST OF PRESSURE, I'M GOING TO RELEASE

IT TO SOMEBODY ELSE." AND HERE'S WHAT I

KNOW. BECAUSE HE DID THAT, YOU AND I CAN

BE OVERCOMERS IN THIS HOUSE THROUGH THE

POWER AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST. CAN

YOU SAY AMEN TO THE WORD of God?

I dare you right now to look at your

neighbor and say, "God already did it

for you." God already did it for you.

Jesus didn't teach resistance. HE

MODELED IT BEFORE NAILS PIERCED HIS

HANDS AND A WHIP STRUCK HIS BACK. HE WAS

ALREADY BLEEDING. AND LUKE SHOWS US THAT

JESUS IN THE MIDDLE OF BATTLING, THIS IS

THE DEPICTION HE SHOWED US. LUKE SHOWED

US JESUS BATTLING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE

BLEEDING. AND THEN I WANT YOU TO SEE ON

THE OTHER SIDE THAT HEBREWS SPEAKS TO US

IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR BATTLE. LUKE IS THE

PICTURE, BUT HEBREWS IS THE CALL

TONIGHT. IN HEBREWS 12 AND VERSE NUMBER

FOUR, HE SAID, "YOU HAVE NOT RESISTED

THE BLOODSHED, STRIVING AGAINST SIN."

NOW, HERE'S WHERE IT TURNS TO YOU AND I

TONIGHT. Hebrews isn't condemning us ON

THIS GOOD FRIDAY. IT'S CALLING YOU AND I

HIGHER.

>> Come on. I I WANT TO SAY THAT ONE MORE

TIME. HEBREWS is not condemning US AND

SAYING, "HOW DARE YOU?" BUT HEBREWS IS

SAYING, "IT'S TIME TO GO HIGHER TO

ANOTHER LEVEL." CAN YOU SAY AMEN? IT

REVEALS TO EACH ONE OF US TONIGHT THAT

EVEN THOUGH WE MAY BE STRUGGLING WITH

SIN, THERE IS ANOTHER LEVEL OF SURRENDER

THAT WE CAN GET TO. I WANT YOU TO LOOK

AT JESUS IN THE GARDEN ON HIS KNEES,

SWEATING BLOOD, STILL SAYING YES TO THE

FATHER. AND I WANT YOU TO SEE THIS. IF

HE SURRENDERED EVERYTHING FOR YOU AND I,

HOW CAN I WITHHOLD ANYTHING FROM HIM? IS

THERE ANYBODY IN THE HOUSE THAT WOULD

SAY, "I'M THANKFUL FOR THE SACRIFICE OF

MY SAVIOR." AND TONIGHT, MY MIND IS MADE

UP. I AM HOLDING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING

BACK. I'M GOING TO GIVE HIM EVERYTHING.

I'M GOING TO GIVE HIM MY HEART. I'M

GOING TO GIVE HIM MY PRAISE. I'M GOING

TO GIVE HIM MY WORSHIP. I'M GOING TO

GIVE HIM MY SACRIFICE. I'M GOING TO GIVE

HIM EVERYTHING I HAVE BECAUSE HE IS

WORTHY. CAN YOU SAY AMEN?

>> Look at your neighbor and say, "It's

time to surrender." I want my team to

come and help me close out.

If he surrendered everything for me,

how can I withhold anything from him?

If he did it and he did it from the

garden all the way to the throne, how

can I hold anything

from him? Watch this. We must be willing

to press through the pain.

Look at your neighbor. say, "Press

through the pain."

>> We must be willing to press through the

pain.

We must be willing to fight through the

fatigue of our life. We must be willing

to endure our battle against sin all the

way through

>> to salvation.

Because the enemy would love to take you

out. But I've got good news for you

tonight. Jesus Christ already took the

enemy out. and he cannot touch you. Come

on, somebody. How many really believe

that tonight? I dare you to jump to your

feet and give God praise for total

victory in the house. Come on, put those

hands together and give the Lord a shout

for total victory in this place. He's

the bleeding king, but he did it for

you. And

I just remain standing all over the

house. I feel the Holy Spirit.

John 16:33

John 16:33

says it like this. These things I have

spoken to you

that in me you may have peace.

In the world you will have tribulation.

But he said, "Be of good cheer."

Be of good cheer. I have overcome

the world.

I don't know about you, but that to me

encapsulates this season.

He overcame the world. And might I add,

because he overcame,

you and I, we can overcome as well.

Matter of fact, he said he'll make us

more than a conqueror. We're going to be

more than a conqueror. Not through what

we can do, but through the blood that

the king shed.

That's how I'm made more than a

conqueror. If it was based off of my

abilities, then at some point I could

step back and say, "Look what I did."

But the Bible says that it's not we

we're not saved. We don't come to

salvation by works, lest any man should

boast. It's very plain about that. If if

if you're confused about that, I I want

you to have a clear picture of the

gospel. You cannot save yourself.

>> Come on. You you cannot redeem yourself.

If you could, there would BE NO, IT

WOULD NOT BE NECESSARY FOR JESUS TO COME

AND be sacrificed.

It would not IT WOULD NOT MAKE SENSE IN

THE PLAN of God. But it's not from works

lest any man should boast.

But guess what? It's a free gift from

God to you. And tonight, I want you to

understand that the bleeding king,

before anybody could pull that blood out

of him, he said, "I'm going to let the

world know it's voluntary." Because

we've always heard that, right? Nobody

took his life. He laid it down. And that

is true. But when you look at it for

face value and you're somebody else from

the outside looking in, all you see is

other people beating Jesus. All you see

is other people taking nails and driving

in his hands. even to the tune that

other people they they knew if he wanted

to he could call and he even knew this

if he want he could have called for a

bunch of angels to COME DOWN TAKE HIM

OFF THAT cross and it would have been

over in a moment they didn't really

recognize the power of the one that was

standing in front of them but before all

that public spectacle took place in a

garden where he frequented and he was by

himself he said before anybody else

brings blood out of my body the pressure

that I feel the weight of the sin of can

you imagine your sins and my sins were

weighing on his shoulders that night

and he said before anybody else will

draw one ounce of blood out of my life

I'm not going to preserve my life I am

going to release this to somebody else

so they can have a life and I'm going to

tell you he did it for you and he did it

for me and he did it for your friends he

did it for your family he did it because

he wanted to show the world no man can

take my life I voluntarily give my

blood.

>> He was the bleeding king before anybody

touched his body.

>> That's the God that we serve.

>> HOW CRAZY IS THAT? I NEVER SAW THAT

BEFORE UNTIL THIS past uh few weeks ago.

The Lord began to show me and reveal

this and I was so excited because it

under it made me have a deeper

understanding of the love that my savior

had for me.

Even before he got in the hustle and

bustle and it wasn't about the show, he

wanted me to know that the the the sweat

that he had because of the agony and he

prayed more earnestly for you and I, it

dropped. I don't think it was by

accident that Luke recorded it. He was a

doctor. He understood something crazy

was going on and he knew it would take

away from the picture of the beauty of

the moment if he wanted to dissertate

what was going on inside of his body.

But I believe it was very strategic that

it fell on the dust of the ground.

It brought us all the way back to

Genesis out of the dust of the ground.

He breathed life into us and became a

living soul. CAN I TELL YOU THAT WITHOUT

THE BLOOD, WE WOULD BE DEAD TONIGHT. BUT

BECAUSE IT FELL ON THE DUST OF THE

GROUND, YOU AND I COULD HAVE LIFE AND

HAVE IT MORE ABUNDANTLY. IS THERE

ANYBODY THANKFUL FOR THE LIFE THAT CAME

THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS?

And that is the power of the gospel that

you and I can carry between now and

Sunday and the next day and the next day

and the next day.

Because watch this, the bleeding king,

he did it for you. He did it for me.

And tonight, the call is not for

condemnation.

The call is for an invitation.

An invitation to deeper prayer. to

greater surrender to radical resistance

to internal victory before there's

outward pressure that even comes to your

life. You can have assurance.

You can have assurance that victory is

yours even though the craziness is all

around you. That's the beauty of what

Jesus did on the cross. The assurance

can come in here before the pressures

even show up. And so tonight,

I want to ask you

based off of what you've heard tonight

and through the blood of Jesus Christ

to please the Lord, does anybody in the

house want to be holy as he is holy?

All right. Does anybody in the house

want to be righteous as he is righteous?

Does anybody would anybody say tonight,

"Pastor, I want to be purified by the

blood of Jesus in every area of my life.

I feel the Holy Spirit in this moment."

And I know it's Friday night and I know

this weekend carries a lot of weight and

we got we got all things going on, all

this stuff going on. But can we take a

few moments and yield some worship to

the bleeding king? If you really want to

be holy, if you really want to be

righteous, if you want to be purified,

if you want to be spotless in his eyes,

then I'm just going to invite you right

now to raise those hands to heaven and

begin to thank him for the blood.

I thank you for the blood, Jesus. I

thank you for the blood. Cuz I'm going

to tell you, it's not by our might or by

our power, but it's only by the blood of
