Poured Out - Never Empty | Pastor Jesse Jernigan | 4.19.26 (Sermon)

Today, I'm excited because I'm ready to

preach a word to you that I believe God

has for you and your family. Amen.

>> Come on. Are you ready to receive the

word today? I'm I'm going to ask you to

jump to your feet. I'm going to read two

verses of scripture and I'm going to

preach like my head is on fire and then

we going to get up out of here and have

a great afternoon. But I'm going to tell

you this. You're going to walk out

filled up with the power of God. Amen.

John chapter number 7. and go to John

John 7 · chapter mention

chapter 7 with me.

I get to preach on one of my favorite

subjects today. Jesus.

>> Come on, somebody.

>> He He's the best subject.

>> And today we're going to learn

something. We're going to receive

something. And I believe the Lord's

going to impart something to somebody's

life today. If you're ready for it,

shout, "Bring it on."

>> All right. John chapter 7 verse number

John 7 · chapter mention

37 and 38. The Bible says it like this.

On the last day, that great day of the

feast, talking about the feast of

tabernacles,

Jesus stood and cried out saying, "If

anyone thirst," now some people read

this and they go through and they say,

"Well, if anyone thirsts, let him come

to me and drink." I don't think that's

how it was. I think you'll learn a

little bit what's going on. But here's

what I want you to see. Jesus stood up

AND SAID, "IF ANYONE THIRST,

>> BASICALLY, I got to catch everybody's

attention." Amen.

>> And so today, do I have your attention?

>> IF ANYONE THIRST, LET HIM COME to me and

drink.

>> He said, "He who believes in me, as the

scripture has said, out of his heart

will flow rivers of living water. And

shall I go a little King James on you?

and out of his belly shall flow rivers

of living water. That's so good. I'm

going to repeat it. I'm going to say it

twice. On the last day, the great I feel

the Holy Ghost in this scripture, y'all.

I feel this. On the last day, the great

day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried

out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him

come to me and drink." Oh, he said this.

He who believes in me, as the scripture

has said, out of his heart shall flow

rivers of living water.

I feel the spirit of God today.

>> I feel that God has given me a word for

somebody. And this is not just a I I

thank God there's a difference between

logos and a Rama word. I this is a logos

and a Rama word, but I believe God's

given me a word in season for somebody

today that you have been walking through

a dry season. But I'm going to tell you

this. This is what God gave me to speak

over you today. poured out, never empty.

Woo! Look at your neighbor. Say, "You

may be poured out."

>> Come on, you got to say it. Y'all got to

say that a little more Pentecostal

style. Look at say, "You may be poured

out,

>> but you're never empty."

Can we pray together? Father, thank you

for your word that is forever settled.

Thank you for the promises of God that

are yes and amen. I pray you would help

me to be speedy, cut to the chase. God,

speak directly to the hearts of your

people. And God, I'll give you praise

and glory for what you accomplished

today in Jesus name. And everybody says,

"Amen." And amen. You may be seated in

the presence of the Lord. Poured out but

never never empty. I want you to

understand the promise of the Holy

Spirit to the life of the believer is

not a fairy tale.

>> All right. Come on. Let me c let me

catch y'all up. I got people still

sitting down looking. I'm going to say

the promise of the Holy Spirit is not a

fairy tale. It is a undeniable truth

that you and I as believers can hold on

to, can cling to, uh can survive in, can

dwell in, can swim in. And the fact is

today that God made that promise to each

one of us. That he would not leave us

alone by ourselves, but he would SEND

FOR US A HELPMATE, a a a pariclete,

someone to come alongside us, if you

will. That as he ascended to heaven,

Jesus left. HE SAID, "I'M NOT GOING TO

LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS. I WILL SEND YOU

THE COMFORTER." And that is the Holy

Spirit to our life. This is a

foundational belief for us in this

house. This is a uh let me just say it

like this. This is a non-negotiable for

us in this house. IT IS A DISTINCTIVE

NOT JUST IN A DENOMINATIONAL WAY, BUT IT

IS a distinctive in an experience that I

have had and that everyone in this house

that names the name of Christ AND CALLS

THIS CHURCH HOME. We believe in the

power of Pentecost. Can I get an amen?

>> I I I wish I had a better amen than

that. Can we get an amen in the house?

The promise of the Holy Spirit is THE

FACT THAT WE GO TO ACTS chapter 2 and it

Acts 2 · chapter mention

says, "And when the day of Pentecost had

fully come, they were ALL TOGETHER IN

THE UPPER ROOM WITH IN ONE accord and

there came a sound from heaven as of a

rushing mighty wind. It filled ALL THE

HOUSE WHERE they were SITTING AND THERE

SAT UPON THEM CLO OR UH FIRE sat upon

their heads and they were given CLOVEN

TONGUES AS OF FIRE. AND WATCH THIS. AND

THEY ALL BEGAN TO SPEAK with other

tongues and the spirit of God gave them

utterance." BUT AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF

THAT, THE BIBLE SAID AND WHEN THE DAY OF

PENTECOST WAS FULLY COME, I want you to

understand in May, WE'RE GOING TO DIVE

INTO a series on Pentecost because May

24th marks the birthday of the church or

Pentecost Sunday. And y'all, if y'all

THINK WE GOT WILD UP TO THIS POINT, YOU

WAIT TILL PENTECOST SUNDAY. It's about

to get buck wild up in this house. DO I

HAVE ANY CRAZY Pentecostal folk in the

house that'll believe with me?

STRATEGICALLY. IT SAYS THAT WHEN THE DAY

OF PENTECOST WAS FULLY COME, I NEVER

READ ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE BIBLE THAT

PENTECOST FULLY WENT.

>> Come on. Can I preach for just a second

to everybody in the house? I I Many

people WILL SAY, "WELL, THERE'S CERTAIN

THINGS THAT COME ABOUT AND THEY'LL CLAIM

THAT THE WORD OF GOD IS THE THING THAT

BRINGS ABOUT A A SUSTAINING OR A A A

SPOT WHERE WE JUST DO AWAY WITH THE

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT AND WE DON'T ALLOW

THE SPIRIT OF GOD TO MOVE ANYMORE."

MORE. BUT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU, WE'RE

NOT IN THIS PLACE TODAY TO SAY WE'RE

GOING TO PUT A SUSPENSION ON THE HOLY

SPIRIT. WE'RE IN THIS PLACE TODAY TO

SAY, "GIVE ME THE KEY. LET'S UNLOCK THE

DOOR AND LET THE HOLY SPIRIT DO WHATEVER

he wants TO DO IN OUR LIFE." CUZ HERE'S

WHAT'S SO STRATEGIC ABOUT IT. IN THIS

MONTH, WE'RE GOING THROUGH AND NEXT

MONTH, OUR LIBERTY GROUPS, WE'RE TALKING

ABOUT DETOX, RIDDING OURSEL

THAT WOULD FILL OUR LIFE INSTEAD OF THE

POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. SO, I'M

TELLING YOU, YOU NEED TO GET IN THOSE

LIBERTY GROUPS BECAUSE we are detoxing

OURSEL FROM ALL THE JUNK OF THIS WORLD

AND THE JUNK OF OUR MIND AND THE JUNK OF

THIS RELIGIOUS AGE THAT WE DWELL IN

RIGHT NOW SO THAT WE CAN BE EMPTIED SO

THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT can come and fill

our lives and FILL OUR HEARTS. AND SO, I

DECLARE TO YOU THAT WE'RE GOING TO

CELEBRATE THIS BECAUSE I DECLARE WE'RE

GOING TO BE POURED OUT, BUT WE'RE NEVER

GOING TO BE EMPTY IN THIS house in JESUS

NAME. ONE, TWO, THREE. CAN YOU GIVE HIM

PRAISE if you believe it all over the

house?

the promise OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. LET ME

SAY THIS, it is for you.

>> And for THAT PROMISE TO COME ABOUT, WHAT

WE READ IN SCRIPTURE THIS MORNING IN

JOHN 7:37-38,

John 7:37–38

THIS MUST TAKE PLACE FIRST BEFORE THE

OUTPOURING can come.

>> NOW, WATCH THIS. WE TALK ABOUT THE FEAST

OF TABERNACLES. AND THAT'S WHAT WE SEE

JESUS UH STRAIGHT UP RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE

OF IN this moment. YOU CAN GO BACK AND

YOU CAN READ THROUGH THE uh chapter 7 IN

ITS ENTIRETY AND YOU can see what's

going on there. You even see in the

beginning of that chapter Jesus's

BROTHERS ARE TRYING TO ABSOLUTELY

DISCOURAGE HIM AND AND AND SEE ALL THESE

THINGS HAPPEN. BUT JESUS EVEN IS IN THE

TEMPLE ALL WEEK LONG TEACHING. BUT I

WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND what the feast of

tabernacles is. It is a time set aside

for seven days that the entire city of

Jerusalem shifts. Families leave their

comfort of their homes and AND STEP INTO

FRAGILE TEMPORARY SHELTERS, tents made

of branches and leaves, AND THEY DWELL

OUTSIDE OF THEIR normal sleeping

arrangements, NOT BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO,

BUT BECAUSE they choose to remember what

God did for their life. They're

remembering a time when their when their

ancestors literally had nothing but THE

FAITHFULNESS OF GOD TO SUSTAIN them and

sustain their heart. A WILDERNESS

SEASON, NO PERMANENT HOMES, NO STEADY

SUPPLY, JUST DAILY DEPENDENCE. BUT MIGHT

I REMIND US OF HOW GOD DELIVERED THE

CHILDREN OF ISRAEL. It may have been

daily dependence, but it was also daily

deliverance in Jesus name.

>> Oh, come on now. I wish I had some folk

in the house that would get with me

today. AND SO FOR SEVEN DAYS, THEY LIVE

IN TENTS, NOT AS A BURDEN, BUT AS A

DECLARATION TO ALL THOSE THAT WERE

AROUND THEM. WHAT WAS THAT DECLARATION,

PASTOR? THAT DECLARATION WASN'T THAT WE

DID THIS OURSEL AND WE BROUGHT OURSEL

THROUGH AND WE MADE IT THROUGH THE

WILDERNESS AND GOD WE YOU DIDN'T HAVE

NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. WE PARTED THE RED

SEA AND MADE IT THROUGH ON OUR OWN AND

YOU WE SUSTAINED OURSEL. OH NO. BUT IT

WAS A DECLARATION THAT NOBODY BROUGHT US

THROUGH BUT GOD brought us through. Come

on somebody. AND I WANT TO ASK YOU, IS

THERE ANYBODY IN THE HOUSE TODAY THAT

CAN LOOK BACK OVER YOUR LIFE AND YOU CAN

SAY, "I CANNOT TAKE CREDIT FOR WHERE I

AM." BUT WHAT I CAN IS I CAN SAY, "GOD

BROUGHT ME THROUGH." All right. I I dare

YOU RIGHT NOW TO GIVE GOD A LITTLE

PRAISE IF YOU BELIEVE THAT HE BROUGHT

you through. I He He sustained me IN THE

MIDST OF MY TROUBLE. HE SUSTAINED ME

WHEN I DIDN'T HAVE TWO PENNIES TO RUB

TOGETHER. HE SHOWED UP WHEN MY MIND WAS

BROKEN. HE SHOWED UP WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE

ABANDONED ME. I WISH I HAD SOME FOLK

THAT WOULD SAY, "I STILL BELIEVE GOD

BROUGHT me through."

>> He brought us through.

>> And here's what I want you to know. Your

praise is a testimony that he brought

you through.

>> Not just in the house, but when you're

riding down the road.

>> Come on. You know when you pull up that

stoplight and you over there, you

getting after it, man. You probably

singing that that song right there that

they were singing a few minutes ago. And

it slips my mind right now. Wind meets

fire. GOD DO IT AGAIN. COME ON. You're

sitting there singing that at a

stoplight and the Holy Ghost begins to

fall and you begin to go crazy lifting

your hands and the person sitting next

to you is looking at say oh my God

and saying, "I better get off this

road." No, that's a good road to be on.

That's a safe road. Can I get an amen?

>> BECAUSE SOMETIMES SOMETIMES WE FORGET

THAT OUR PRAISE IS NOT JUST a testimony

to us, BUT OUR PRAISE is a testimony to

everybody around us.

That's why you can't sit silently in

church because people are going to think

you're dead.

>> Hello. Thank you, Dexter. Come on.

That's what I'm talking about. YOU CAN'T

SIT SILENTLY AND SAY, "WELL, GOD AIN'T

NEVER DONE NOTHING for me." Are you

breathing? Did you come in ON YOUR OWN

POWER? COME ON. DID YOU HAVE A little

something to eat today? Are you going TO

HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT AFTER CHURCH? OR

DO YOU HAVE A PLACE TO GO BACK AND LAY

YOUR HEAD TO SLEEP AT NIGHT? AND YOU

SAY, "GOD DIDN'T DO NOTHING FOR YOU." I

THINK YOU JUST FORGOT WHAT GOD DID FOR

YOU. CAN WE TAKE A MOMENT AND REMIND

OURSEL THAT WE ARE BLESSED AND HIGHLY

FAVORED THAT THE ENEMY CANNOT STOP IT? I

DECLARE I AM BLESSED TODAY. MY PRAISE

SIGNIFIES THAT I'M BLESSED. I got to

behave cuz I got a long way to go.

>> But we have to remind oursel that God

has been good to us. Amen.

>> Seven days the feast of tabernacles

lasted. Every meal, every conversation,

every night under the open sky is filled

with reflection, gratitude, and

expectation on the other side of that.

Cuz I want you to understand, it wasn't

just about reflection and gratitude, but

it was also an expectancy that was in

their heart for the feast OF

TABERNACLES. AND THIS JUST THIS JUST

ISN'T TRADITION THAT THEY'RE DOING. It

was INTENTIONAL REMEMBRANCE. IT WAS

SEVEN DAYS OF LOOKING BACK OVER ALL THAT

GOD HAS DONE. BUT AT THE SAME TIME

LEANING INTO WHAT GOD WAS ABOUT to do in

their life. AND SO TODAY, MAY I REMIND

US THAT WE ARE STILL IN THIS SEASON THAT

WE CALL SEASON OF LEGACY THAT WE ARE

STILL IN THIS YEAR OF SACRED THRESHOLDS

WHERE WE ARE MERGING OUR HISTORY AND OUR

DESTINY TOGETHER. AND CAN I ENCOURAGE US

IN THIS SEASON, DON'T JUST LEAN INTO THE

PAST AND DON'T JUST LEAN INTO THE

FUTURE, BUT WE GOT TO MERGE THE TWO

TOGETHER TO SAY, GOD, WHAT YOU'RE DOING

IS A COMPLETE WORK IN OUR LIFE. AND GOD,

WE LEAN INTO all of it.

>> Here's I want YOU TO UNDERSTAND. THEY

DID ALL THIS WITH THE HOPE THAT THE SAME

GOD WHO PROVIDED FOR THEM THEN will move

again now.

>> And I want to declare over your life

that he's going to move again in your

life.

>> Come on. I I I JUST THIS IS WHAT I HAD

IN MY SPIRIT. THIS MAY NOT BE FOR

EVERYBODY IN THE ROOM, but I'm going to

go ahead and say it because I feel like

saying this and I'm the pastor and I got

the microphone. And I'm going to go and

prophesy cuz I believe it's going to

bring about a healing. I'm going to say,

"Brother Ernie, stand up to your feet

right now. You're just a handsome

looking fella today. Don't y'all just

love Brother E? Come on. Ain't he

awesome?" One of my one of my executive

boardman. I love you, bro. I love you so

much. But let me go ahead and remind you

that God healed your body before. And I

rem I wasn't here during that time, but

my hand still hurts in the faith. Come

on. From squeezing and believing that

God's able to bring you through. IF HE

BROUGHT YOU THROUGH THAT MESS ALONE

ABOUT 20 years ago, THEN HERE'S WHAT I'M

GOING TO TELL YOU. HE'S ABOUT TO BRING

YOU THROUGH WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH

RIGHT NOW. SO, I PROPHESY HEALING OVER

YOU, MAN OF GOD. I PROPHESY WHOLENESS

OVER YOU, MAN OF GOD. I DECLARE IT THAT

IF HE DID IT BACK THEN, I STILL BELIEVE

HE'S THE SAME GOD THAT'LL DO IT TODAY. I

WISH I HAD SOME FOLK THAT WOULD PRAISE

GOD FOR HEALING, HEALING, HEALING IN HIS

BODY. I CLAIM IT. I DECLARE IT IN THE

NAME OF JESUS. HALLELUJAH.

NOW, if he DID IT BACK THEN, HE WILL DO

IT AGAIN AND HE WILL MOVE AGAIN IN MY

LIFE. BUT I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND, IT

DIDN'T JUST STOPPED AT tents dwelling in

the wilderness.

>> Because while the PEOPLE WERE DWELLING

IN TEMPORARY SHELTERS, THERE WAS

SOMETHING POWERFUL happening daily in

the temple OF GOD. EACH MORNING, A

PRIEST WOULD TAKE A GOLDEN PICTURE OUT

OF THE TEMPLE AND MAKE HIS WAY THROUGH

THE STREETS OF JERUSALEM, FOLLOWED BY A

CROWD OF WORSHIPPERS FILLED WITH

ANTICIPATION AND EXPECTATION. WHERE WERE

THEY GOING, PASTOR? THEY WERE GOING TO

THE POOL OF SALEOM. AND IT'S I WANT YOU

TO UNDERSTAND A LITTLE BIT OF BACKGROUND

ABOUT the pool of Saleom. It was at the

southern end of the city of David AND IT

WAS FED BY THE GAHHAN SPRING. AND IT WAS

THROUGH HEZ came came into the city

through Hezekiah's tunnel. AND I WANT

YOU TO UNDERSTAND THIS POOL WASN'T JUST

A BODY OF WATER THAT WAS EXISTING IN THE

HOLY CITY. BUT IT WAS A PLACE OF

GATHERING, A PLACE OF CLEANSING. And

they even used these WATERS FOR THE

PURIFICATION THAT THEY HAD TO DO IN

THEIR BODY. BUT IT WAS A PLACE WHERE

PILGRIMS WOULD COME, ESPECIALLY DURING

THE FEAST, CARRYING BOTH their need and

their expectation at the same time. HAVE

YOU EVER BEEN IN A SEASON IN YOUR LIFE

WHERE YOU'VE CARRIED BOTH A NEED AND

expectation at the same time? Oh, am I

talking to some real folk today? You You

know what I'm talking about. You walk in

the house and you're saying, "Pastor, I

don't know if I can put one foot in

front of the other, but I'm expecting

God to show up today. I DON'T KNOW WHERE

THE PROVISION is going TO COME FROM, BUT

I come with a praise on my lips." Can I

tell you THAT THAT'S EXACTLY WHERE GOD

WANTS YOU TO BE? RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF

YOUR NEED, BUT RIGHT IN the middle of

expectation. Because expectation is a

BREEDING GROUND FOR MIRACLES. AND I

BELIEVE IN THIS ROOM, THERE'S SOME

EXPECTATION IN THIS ROOM. AND I BELIEVE

GOD'S ABOUT TO TURN SOME THINGS AROUND.

I BELIEVE WE'RE COME ON. I FEEL THIS IN

MY SPIRIT. I BELIEVE WE'RE ABOUT TO SEE

SOME MIRACLES. I BELIEVE WE'RE ABOUT TO

SEE SOME SIGNS. WE'RE ABOUT TO SEE SOME

WONDERS THAT NOBODY ELSE CAN EXPLAIN in

the house. But when YOU'RE IN THAT

SEASON WHERE YOU C YOU'RE CARRYING THE

NEED in your LIFE AND EXPECTATION

TOGETHER, I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND GOD

IS GETTING READY to step into the room.

And as watch this. I want you to see.

They carried the golden pitcher all the

way through. The priest did. AND AS THE

PRIEST CAME TO THE WATER AT SALOM, THE

PRIEST DIPPED THE GOLDEN PITCHER INTO

THE WATER. YOU COULD ALMOST HEAR IT AS

HE DIPPED IT IN THE SOUND OF THE WATER

FILLING THE VESSEL. NOT JUST WATER, BUT

A IT WAS JUST IT WASN'T JUST WATER. IT

WAS A SYMBOL OF PROVISION FOR THE PEOPLE

OF GOD. AND IT WAS A REMINDER THAT THE

WATER THAT FLOWED in the wilderness when

they were when there WAS NONE, IT WAS

STILL FLOWING IN THE CITY THAT DAY. CAN

I TELL YOU WHAT YOU FELT A LONG TIME

AGO? IT'S NOT GONE. It's still there.

>> Come on. You just got to tap into that

well. Can I get an amen?

>> This is what I want YOU TO UNDERSTAND.

THEY WOULD BRING THAT PICTURE. THEY

WOULD FILL IT UP WITH WATER FROM THE

POOL OF SALEOM. AND THEN I WANT YOU TO

SEE THIS. THEN the progression or the

procession itself began. And they began

to walk back through the streets. But

they didn't walk back through the

streets quietly.

>> Look at my golden picture.

how holy I am. Come on. They just walk

through the streets and say, "Everybody

look at my golden picture. Look what's

going on. Look, LOOK AT ME. LOOK WHAT

LOOK WHAT I FOUND." NO, NO, NO, NO. I

want you to see this. WHEN THEY WENT

BACK, THEY WOULD WALK BACK UP TO THE

temple singing, shouting, and rejoicing.

>> All right.

>> All right. I got about three or four

people with me right now. This is going

to be real good right here. They would

walk back through the streets singing,

SHOUTING, AND REJOICING BECAUSE THIS

WASN'T JUST A QUIET REFLECTION anymore

like they were doing out in the tents

where they would remind theirel OF WHERE

GOD BROUGHT THEM FROM. BUT NOW THEY HAVE

COUPLED their need AND WHAT GOD HAD DID

FOR THEM WITH A CELEBRATION THAT GOD IS

NOT FINISHED WITH ME YET. HE'S still

working in my life. Oh, come on. I feel

like preaching a little bit right now.

This wasn't just a quiet MOMENT OF

REFLECTION. THIS WAS A CELEBRATION and

expectation at the same time. WHERE IS

THIS COME FROM, PASTOR? WAS THIS

BIBLICAL? ISAIAH 12 VERSE NUMBER THREE.

IT SAID WITH JOY YOU WILL DRAW WATER

FROM THE WELLS OF SALVATION. I WANT YOU

TO UNDERSTAND IT WAS A CUSTOMARY THING

THEY DID A LONG TIME AGO IN A REFLECTION

OF WHAT THEY BELIEVED GOD WAS going to

do IN THE FUTURE FOR THEIR PEOPLE. I

WANT YOU TO SEE THIS. WHEN THEY ARRIVED,

THE PRIEST WOULD POUR THAT WATER OUT ON

THE ALTAR ALONG UH OFTEN ALONGSIDE THAT

WATER, HE WOULD POUR WINE AS A VISIBLE

ACT, A PROPHETIC PICTURE, REMEMBERING,

WATCH THIS SAYING THAT WE REMEMBER WHAT

YOU'VE DONE AND WE'RE EXPECTING YOU TO

DO IT AGAIN. THE WATER REPRESENTS THE

WORD. IT REPRESENTS JESUS. AND THE WINE

REPRESENTING THE BLOOD. CAN I TELL YOU?

WHEN YOU GET THE WATER AND THE BLOOD

TOGETHER, WHEN YOU GET THE WORD AND COME

ON SOMEBODY, AND YOU GET THE BLOOD

TOGETHER, THAT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU,

YOU CANNOT STOP THAT FORCE IN YOUR LIFE.

THAT'S WHY IT'S IMPORTANT FOR US TO GET

IN THE WORD AND SAY, "LORD, WHAT'S YOUR

WORD HAVE TO SAY WITH IT?" CUZ THEN THAT

WORD LINKS UP WITH THE CRUCIFIED AND

RISEN JESUS WHO SHED HIS BLOOD FOR US.

AND THE DEVIL MAY TRY TO NEGATE IT, BUT

I'M GOING TO TELL YOU, HE CANNOT DEFEAT

THE WORD AND THE BLOOD WORKING TOGETHER

IN YOUR LIFE. MY TRUST IS NOT IN HUMANS.

MY TRUST IS NOT IN DENOMINATION. MY

TRUST IS NOT IN ORGANIZATIONS. BUT MY

TRUST IS IN THE WORD OF GOD AND THE

BLOOD OF JESUS THAT WILL BRING ME

THROUGH EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. IS

ANYBODY SAY, "I'VE GOT A TRUST AND IT'S

IN THE BLOOD. IT'S IN THE WORD. IT'S IN

HIS PROMISE. IT'S IN HIS GRACE." AND I

TRUST HIM TODAY. CAN YOU say amen?

Because understand, they were saying,

"We remember, God, what you've done for

us. We remember what you've done for us,

and we're expecting you to do it again."

So, you can see the procession that

takes place from the pool of Saleom and

took that golden picture, dipped it in,

and then the priest begins to walk back

to the temple and shouting and

rejoicing. And the Bible they're THEY

EVEN GO WITH INSTRUMENTS behind them and

they're CELEBRATING ALL THE WAY CAUSING

A NOISE THROUGHOUT THE CITY TO LET THEM

KNOW THAT THIS IS THE SAME PROVISION WE

HAD IN THE WILDERNESS AND IS STILL today

for us.

>> They would go back and YOU CAN SEE THIS

FOR SEVEN DAYS. FOR seven days they go

back and forth having to draw water

theirel

for seven days they had to get up. They

had to go get the water. They had to

pick it up and they had to GO THROUGH

THIS WHOLE EXTRAVAGANT THING to bring it

back to let the people know that there

was living water available to them.

>> And so you can see this day after day

after day after day after day all the

way through. And they ENDED UP SEVEN

DAYS LATER taking the water and pouring

it on the altar and taking the wine and

pouring it on the altar. During the

seven days, this continued not just

here, but out in the wilderness as well

outside the city. The tents were filled

with remembrance, but the temple itself

was filled with worship. If there's ever

been a time that I would love to be

alive, it would be during one of the

feasts. Come on. I I love to be in

Jerusalem when all this is taking place,

especially during this account right

here where Jesus showed up. Come on.

That would have been pretty sick right

there. I y'all just envision your own

vacations, but that would be my

vacation. Come on. I'm just being

honest.

>> They are in this mode remembrance and

worship which is powerful. Remembrance

and worship. If we could take anything

out of this message that may maybe be

practical tips. Don't ever FORGET WHERE

GOD BROUGHT you from and don't ever

forget to worship him for it.

>> Come on. Can Can we just BE HONEST THIS

MORNING? I THINK MANY TIMES a lot of our

problems WOULD BE SOLVED IF WE DID NOT

FORGET WHERE GOD BROUGHT US FROM and we

begin to praise HIM FOR WHAT HE'S DONE

and what he's going TO DO BECAUSE THAT

WILL GET OUR attention on him and it

will let us know that WE ARE NOT THE

SOURCE. HE IS the source.

>> Remembrance fill the temple or fill the

tents. Worship fill the temple. Hearts

filled with expectation and the entire

ATMOSPHERE WAS CHARGED WITH ONE MESSAGE.

GOD HAS BEEN FAITHFUL AND HE will be

faithful again.

>> He will be faithful again. So for seven

days,

for seven days they they do this

retrieving water and pouring water.

Pastor, why are they doing these things?

Why are they doing this? Number one, it

was part of their custom during that

time because they were they were inching

their way into harvest season and they

were praying for rain for the harvest.

Number one, that was one of their

prayers when they were pouring that

water out is that God, we would see

rain, physical rain. They were praying

for physical rain. But then the second

thing they were doing is they were

literally remembering God's provision in

the wilderness when God supplied them

with water when nobody else could. They

were remembering when that water was

poured out. THAT'S WHAT WAS HAPPENING.

BUT THEN THE MOST INTRIGUING PART OF WHY

THEY DID THIS IS BECAUSE THEY WERE

TAKING THAT WATER FROM THE POOL AND

THEY'RE BRINGING IT BACK TO THE TEMPLE

IS THEY WERE EXPRESSING expectation of

the Messiah showing up. Woo! Come on.

They were expecting something

but it didn't look like what they

expected.

>> They they had it in their mind. I am

here to go through this customary uh

ritual WAS NOT A BAD THING. and they

said, "WE'RE GOING TO DO THIS." AND ALL

THE WHILE THEY WERE PRAYING FOR RAIN,

REMEMBERING WHAT GOD DID, BUT SHOWING

EXPRESS OR EXPRESSING THEIR EXPECTANCY

OF A MESSIAH THAT WAS ABOUT TO SHOW UP.

BUT REALLY, WERE THEY REALLY LOOKING for

the Messiah?

Were they really looking for who he was?

And then we get to a beautiful point in

the word of God in verse number 37 at

the very beginning of it. I want you to

see this. The Bible says in the very

first part of that I said on the last

day that great day of the feast.

Somebody say last day.

>> Last day

>> and then say that great day.

>> See we have seven days that have already

transpired in the feast. But according

to the law there was one more day and it

was a day of solemn assembly that they

brought theirel to in THE TEMPLE. SEVEN

DAYS OF retrieving water and pouring

water. SEVEN DAYS OF REFLECTION. SEVEN

DAYS OF BRINGING ALL THESE THINGS TO

PASS. BUT I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND THIS

EIGHTH DAY THAT WE'RE IN NOW THAT WE SEE

JESUS SHOW UP IN VERSE 37 AND 38. I WANT

YOU TO SEE THIS DAY REPRESENTED THE DAY

OF SOLEMN GATHERING OR THE DAY OF

EXPECTATION. IN OTHER WORDS, FOR SEVEN

DAYS WE DID ALL THIS BECAUSE WE'RE

EXPECTING ON THE EIGHTH DAY SOMETHING TO

SHOW UP. HAVE YOU EVER PRAYED AND

EXPECTED GOD to do something in your

life?

>> All right, come on. How many I'll just

be honest with you. I I need to know

right now. Do you really pray with

expectancy?

I mean for real, you don't just pray and

go through check mark a box and and say,

"Well, oh God, I hope this happens." NO.

WHEN I PRAY, I EXPECT RESULTS on the

other side of my prayer. I expect for

healing. I expect FOR DELIVERANCE. I

EXPECT FOR BREAKTHROUGH. I expect for

financial, but come on, financial

blessing. I EXPECT GOD TO TOUCH MY

CHILDREN. I EXPECT GOD TO TOUCH MY MIND.

I WANT TO KNOW, DOES ANYBODY HAVE AN

EXPECTANCY IN THEIR HEART TODAY FOR WHAT

YOU PRAYED ALL WEEK LONG IS ABOUT TO

SHOW UP TODAY IN THIS HOUSE?

THIS IS WHERE THEY WERE. They had bread.

THEY HAD FED THEIR EXPECTANCY ALL WEEK

LONG BY GRABBING THE PICTURE OF WATER,

POURING IT ON THE ALTAR. And I WANT YOU

TO SEE SEVEN DAYS THEY DANCED WITH

EXPECTATION. SEVEN DAYS THEY PLAYED

INSTRUMENTS WITH EXPECTATION. AND SEVEN

DAYS THEY POURED WATER. AND SEVEN DAYS

THE ALTAR WAS SATURATED. BUT ON NOW ON

THE EIGHTH DAY THE ALTAR IS DRY. AND

EVERYONE IS WONDERING where is the

water?

SEVEN DAYS POURING IT, SATURATED. IT'S

THERE. SEVEN DAYS. AND NOW THEY'RE ON

THE EIGHTH DAY AND THEY'RE WONDERING,

"WILL GOD SEND THE RAIN we asked for?"

HERE'S ONE THAT'LL THAT'LL GET IN OUR

SPIRIT. WILL THE PROMISE THAT GOD GAVE

ME BE FULFILLED IN MY FAMILY?

>> Come on, somebody. Have you ever been in

a moment of your life where you've

questioned God?

>> All right. Can I talk to some real folk

today? We're going to get real for just

a second. If you hadn't if you hadn't

questioned God, then you haven't prayed

any dangerous prayers yet.

>> Oh my God. Let Let me just step back

here for a second. I I I just need some

folk just to get with me for a second on

this because we got to be honest and we

got to be real. There are times that we

have questioned God. I've been praying

for healing. Where is my healing? We

There's been times in our life that we

have prayed and asked God to bring to

pass the promise and we say, God, where

is the promise? We've been believing for

breakthrough in our family, breakthrough

in our life, BREAKTHROUGH IN OUR

FINANCES, BUT then we get to a point

we're like, God, where is the

breakthrough? CAN I TELL YOU, EVERYBODY

THAT WAS STANDING IN THAT TEMPLE THAT

DAY WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING, BUT THEY

COULD not see it with their eyes yet?

They knew they had put in the work. THEY

KNEW THEY HAD PRAYED. THEY KNEW THEY HAD

CELEBRATED. THEY KNEW THEY HAD POURED

THE WATER. THEY KNEW THEY HAD POURED THE

WINE. BUT NOW THEY'RE STANDING THERE IN

THE TEMPLE SAYING, "OKAY, WHERE IS THE

PROMISE? WHAT AM I? I'VE BEEN WAITING ON

THIS ALL WEEK LONG. I'VE BEEN WAITING ON

THIS ALL YEAR LONG. EVERYONE IS ON HIGH

ALERT. EVERYONE HAS AN EXPECTATION THAT

SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. BUT I WANT

YOU TO UNDERSTAND WHEN OUR BACK IS

AGAINST THE WALL, I WANT YOU TO

UNDERSTAND ALL WE NEED IS ONE WORD FROM

GOD. CUZ WATCH WHAT HAPPENED. JESUS

STOOD UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THAT ENTIRE

TEMPLE, THAT ASSEMBLY, AND HE CRIED OUT

NOT WITH A WEAK VOICE, BABY, BUT WITH

AUTHORITY. AND HE SAID IT LIKE THIS. IF

ANYONE THIRST, COME TO ME AND DRINK.

>> COME ON. HAS ANYBODY GOT SPIRITUAL EYES

AND EARS TO SEE AND HEAR WHAT I'M

TALKING ABOUT? THEY WERE LOOKING FOR A

NATURAL WATER. BUT JESUS STOOD UP AND

SAID, "IF ANYBODY'S THIRSTY, COME TO ME

AND DRINK. I GOT SOMETHING YOU DON'T

EVEN KNOW ABOUT."

>> All right. COME ON. I JUST NEED SOME

FOLK TO REALIZE THAT THE LIVING WATER

THAT WAS BACK THEN IS STILL THE LIVING

WATER TODAY. EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN YOUR

LIFE IS WRAPPED UP IN ONE NAME, AND

THAT'S THE NAME OF JESUS. COME ON, TALK

TO ME, SOMEBODY. HOW MANY CAN SAY, "I'VE

BEEN IN A DRY DESERT PLACE BEFORE, BUT

GOD HAS SHOWED UP. I'VE BEEN IN A BROKEN

PLACE BEFORE, BUT THE LIVING WATER

SHOWED UP IN MY LIFE. I'VE BEEN IN A

BROKEN PLACE BEFORE, BUT I'M TELLING

YOU, HE SHOWED UP IN THE MIDST OF MY

BROKENNESS. IN THE MIDST OF MY WILD,

CRAZY SELF, HE SHOWED UP."

>> SOMEBODY SHOUT, "LIVING WATER."

High five your neighbor and say, "Living

water's on the way."

>> He stood up

>> in the middle of their expectancy.

>> And what they were looking for is they

were looking for the golden picture to

come out.

>> They were LOOKING FOR THE GOLDEN PICTURE

TO SHOW UP, but all OF A SUDDEN, A

GOLDEN PICTURE DIDN'T SHOW UP.

>> Come on. But a spotless lamb showed up

in the middle OF THE ROOM.

WOO. OH, I get excited when I start

talking about Jesus cuz I'm going to

tell you something in this house. The

same Jesus that stood up in the MIDDLE

OF THAT TEMPLE. I FEEL HIM STANDING UP

IN THIS PREACHER TODAY TO LET YOU KNOW

YOU MAY HAVE WALKED IN HERE THIRSTY. YOU

MAY HAVE WALKED IN HERE BROKEN. BUT I

HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD SAYING THIS RIGHT

HERE. IF ANYBODY'S THIRSTY, COME TO ME

AND LET THEM DRINK. I WANT TO KNOW HOW

MANY SAY, "I'VE BEEN SATISFIED BEFORE,

BUT I BELIEVE HE'S ABOUT TO DO IT AGAIN

ON A SUNDAY MORNING. HE'S ABOUT TO FILL

ME. He's about TO FILL ME FULL OF HIS

POWER and his grace. 1 2 3. Give him

praise if you believe it.

And I'm going to SAY THIS RIGHT HERE.

JESUS INTERRUPTED THEIR CEREMONY. JESUS

INTERRUPTED THEIR QUESTIONS. JESUS

INTERRUPTED THEIR DOUBTS. JESUS

INTERRUPTED THEIR FRUSTRATIONS. JESUS

INTERRUPTED THEIR BROKENNESS TO REVEAL

TO THEM ONE THING AND ONE THING ONLY,

THAT HE IS THE TRUE AND THE LIVING

WATER. AND I WANT TO SAY HE WAS THE

ANSWER BACK THEN. AND I'M GOING TO SAY

THIS, HE'S STILL THE ANSWER TODAY FOR

YOUR BROKEN SOUL, FOR YOUR DRY SOUL. IF

you taste it, I dare you to jump to your

feet and give God 15 seconds.

I NEED THE LIVING WATER. I NEED HIM TO

POUR HIMSELF OUT. I CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT

HIM. I NEED HIM. IF YOU BELIEVE IT, ONE,

TWO, THREE, GIVE HIM A SHOUT IN THE

HOUSE.

HALLELUJAH.

We don't need still church.

Oh, I said WE DON'T NEED STILL CHURCH.

WE NEED A RIVER of living water.

>> Cuz I'll say this, a golden picture is

pretty, but it ain't going to help me

through a hard season.

That's right.

>> Can I just be real with you? THERE ARE

TIMES IN OUR LIFE THAT we come up

against roadblocks and WE COME UP

AGAINST OBSTACLES AND WE COME UP AGAINST

BLOCKADES and walls in the spirit. And

I'm going to tell you, RELIGION WILL NOT

GET IT DONE IN THAT MOMENT. BUT CAN I

TELL YOU, THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD

OF LORDS WILL GET IT DONE IN THAT

MOMENT. I MAY NOT HAVE IT ALL TOGETHER,

BUT HE DOES. HE IS A LIVING WATER for my

soul.

He was the answer then and he is the

answer today. And I don't know about

you, but I'm glad Jesus interrupted my

mess, too.

>> Oh, come on. I said, I'm glad he

interrupted my mess. I'm glad he

interrupted my mind. I'm glad he

interrupted my spirit. I'm glad he came

in the midst of my brokenness and my

disenfranchised self and said, "Listen,

I know you don't have it all together,

but I come with an answer, and the

answer is me."

>> He showed up. But a lot of times if

we're honest, we expect the answer to

come in our format.

>> Can I just be honest with you?

>> This is lessons from this from this this

moment right here because the reason why

they missed him is because they didn't

believe in him.

>> Come on. He said that if anyone thirsts,

let him come to me and drink. And then

WATCH WHAT THE SECOND PART OF THAT verse

said. It said this. He or verse number

38 rather. He who believes in me as the

scripture has said.

>> You've got to believe if you want the

water.

>> Here's the progression. If you're

thirsty,

come to him and drink.

>> Watch this. And there's another step

we're going to get to in a moment. But

if YOU'RE THIRSTY, YOU COME TO HIM AND

DRINK. THAT'S THE PROMISE WE HAVE. He

will not turn you away in Jesus name.

>> Come on. YOU'RE WATCHING ME BY LIVE

STREAM TODAY AND I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW

he will NOT TURN YOU AWAY. ALL HE WANTS

you to do is say, "I need you." And when

you say, "I need him." I'M TELLING YOU,

WHEREVER YOU'RE WATCHING FROM RIGHT NOW,

HE'S GOING TO POUR LIVING WATER RIGHT

INTO YOUR ROOM, RIGHT INTO YOUR CAR.

COME ON. WHILE YOU'RE ON YOUR JOG,

WHEREVER YOU WHEREVER YOU'RE AT TODAY, I

BELIEVE THAT GOD'S ABLE TO BRING LIVING

WATER. AND I DECLARE IT. IT'S COMING TO

YOUR house in Jesus name. Cuz watch

this.

>> When he interrupts, he interrupts on

purpose.

>> He interrupts on purpose. He doesn't

interrupt just to interrupt. He

interrupts number one because he can.

>> But number one, because he knows he got

the answer.

>> That's right.

>> I I you know, I've been where people try

to interrupt and all that stuff and

they've interrupted and all that stuff.

They don't have the answer and I'm like,

man, that was an absolute damper. But

I'm going to tell you, there's been

people that have interrupted. and

they've had an answer in my life and

they've showed up in the midst of my

chaos. And I say, "God, thank you for

sending them my way. Thank you for

showing up in my life." I'm going to

tell you, anytime Jesus interrupts, he's

got an answer. He's got a promise. He's

got a solution for your problem. He's

got, come on, he's got a way where there

seems to be no way. He is a God who's

able to bring you out and set your feet

on a rock to stay. And today, I declare

it's going to happen. IF YOU'RE HUNGRY

AND THIRSTY for him, he will pour

himself out on your life.

>> Watch this. I want you to see this verse

number 38. Out of his heart will flow

rivers of living water.

If anyone believes, watch this, they

will become carriers of living water.

>> You become a carrier of living water.

God doesn't just say, "Come to me if

you're thirsty

and drink." And say, "Now get in a

vicious cycle where it's all about you.

>> Come to me and drink.

Come to me and drink." Can I tell you,

there's a lot of saints that have gotten

that they've gotten that cycle before

where it's all about me. I got to come

and get mine. Come on.

>> Hello, somebody. It's all about me. It's

all about me. But let me tell you

something. With taking in all the time

and never getting anything out, no

outflow, it is dangerous to your health.

>> If you drink water all day long and you

never go tt to the potty. Can I get a

amen?

>> You going to have some miserable pains.

You going to have some problems. Some

people say, "Well, pastor, I've been

there, but not on my own will and

accord. I've had some kidney stones that

tried to block me up and shut me out."

You know, come on. Anybody, anybody

witness in the house, you know what I'm

talking about. But I'm going to tell you

this right now that God's will is not

for you just to come to him and drink.

Although it is for you to come and come

to him and drink. Because if you're

thirsty, you come to him. But he does

not fill you full of HIS WATER FOR YOU

TO HOARD it to yourself.

>> Oh, come on. This is where I want to get

TO TODAY. CAN I JUST PREACH FOR JUST A

MOMENT? I AM SICK AND TIRED OF CHURCH

THAT SAYS IT'S ALL ABOUT ME. THANK GOD

THAT I COME IN THIS HOUSE AND I CAN FEEL

HIS PRESENCE. AND IF YOU COME IN TODAY

AND YOU COME IN, YOU'RE SCREECHING IN ON

THREE WHEELS AND A DONUT AND YOU SAY,

"PASTOR, I NEED EVERY BIT OF IT I CAN

GET." TODAY IS FOR YOU IN JESUS NAME.

BUT I'M GOING TO TELL YOU, WHEN YOU GET

FILLED WITH HIS SPIRIT AND YOU GET

FILLED WITH HIS WATER, IT OUGHT TO

OVERFLOW OUT OF YOUR LIFE INTO SOMEBODY

ELSE. IF IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU, YOU MISS

THE GOSPEL. HE WHO THE SON SETS FREE, HE

IS FREE INDEED. BUT I'M BRINGING FREEDOM

TO THE WORLD. IS THERE ANYBODY IN THE

HOUSE THAT WOULD SAY, "I'm thankful. HE

FLOWS OUT OF MY HEART, TOO.

Cuz I'm going to let you know in our

house, in this house, we will have a

spirit of generosity.

>> And that not only goes in WITH OUR

MONEY, BUT IT GOES IN WITH OUR

SERVANTTHOOD and our time and our

abilities.

>> Watch this. You're going to link up WITH

THIS HOUSE. YOU'RE GOING to understand,

we're going to serve and we're going to

give everything we've got. We're not

going to stand here and say, "It's all

about me."

>> I'll be honest.

If you want if you really want to be

true, let's talk about fire for just a

minute. If you've ever built a fire pit

and you've had to have fire in the

backyard and you try to get that baby

blazing, you really want to get it

blazing, go buy some pallets and throw

it on top of it. Come on. But let me

tell you, if you only have three logs on

that on that fire and you leave them

three logs on that fire all night long,

you going to go out there and there may

be like a little ember left, but let me

tell you something, that fire is going

to die down at some point.

And so here's what I want you to

understand. If we're going to build a

raging inferno fire of the Holy Ghost

right here in this house, we cannot have

the same three logs on it for the next

10 years.

Come on. AND I THANK GOD FOR THE GROWTH

THAT WE'RE SEEING. I THANK GOD FOR HOW

HE'S MOVING IN THIS HOUSE. BUT I'M GOING

TO TELL YOU, IF WE'RE NOT WILLING TO

REACH BEYOND OURSEL, THEN THIS BABY'S

GOING TO DIE OUT. BUT I'M GOING TO STAND

HERE AND I'M GOING TO COMBAT IT WITH

EVERYTHING I'VE GOT. WE'RE ABOUT TO BE A

GENEROUS HOUSE, A SERVING HOUSE, A

REACHING HOUSE, A MISSIONS MINDED HOUSE

THAT SAYS THERE'S A HARVEST OUT THERE.

I'M NOT GOING TO HOG IT ALL BY MYSELF.

LET ME BE POURED OUT LIKE WATER TO A

WORLD around me.

And let ME SAY THIS, EVERYBODY'S GOT A

DIFFERENT GIFT. AND YOUR GIFT MAY NOT

LOOK LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE'S GIFT. AND

DON'T BE ASHAMED OF THAT.

>> Come on. YOUR WAY OF SERVING MAY NOT

LOOK THE SAME AS MY WAY OF SERVING. BUT

HERE'S WHAT I WILL SAY. SERVE THE LORD

WITH GLADNESS.

>> Serve him with gladness.

>> Whatever that looks like, you become a

carrier of living water. Spiritual

glutton are disqualified from being a

carrier of the living water.

>> Hello, somebody.

>> You know why? because we dwell in a

world that is harsh, unforgiving, and

dry.

>> And when they come in here, they're not

looking for people that are me focused.

They're looking for people that are

mission focused.

>> Hello.

>> And again, here's here's my caveat to

that. I KNOW SOME PEOPLE IN THIS ROOM,

YOU ARE FAITHFUL TO THIS HOUSE AND YOU

DID EVERYTHING YOU COULD JUST TO GET IN

THE HOUSE TODAY. GOD HAS SOMETHING FOR

YOU.

>> He has something for you. DRINK AND BE

SATISFIED IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD. BUT BY

ALL MEANS, DO NOT DRINK AND BE SATISFIED

AND HOLD PATTERN RIGHT THERE AND COME

BACK AND GET IN A VICIOUS CYCLE. SAY,

"LORD, HOW CAN I RELEASE THIS TO A WORLD

THAT IS BROKEN AND THAT IS DRY AND THAT

IS HURTING?"

>> THAT'S where real Christianity comes in.

He can use you right where you're at.

And I'll say this, you don't have to

have a platform to be used by God.

>> Amen.

>> You don't have to have a microphone to

be used by God.

You can be on your job and YOU CAN BE

USED powerfully and mightily by God.

>> Matter of fact, I think that's the most

effective way to be used by God. Can I

get an amen? We going to reach more

people in the marketplace

>> than we ever do from behind the pull

pit.

>> Hear me. You are carriers because

there's a harsh, unforgiving, and dry

world. But when we believe and become

carriers, we become refreshing to

everybody else we come in contact with.

>> Amen. And I'm going to say this. Look at

your neighbor. Say, "It's time to be

poured out."

>> It's time to be poured out. I I'm going

to ask you to come help me close out.

It's time to be poured out.

This past Monday,

the Lord instructed me to teach

something in our staff meeting and pour

into them. uh a significant word that

the Lord poured into me

about how that Jesus was poured out like

water on the cross

and the effects of what that looks like

and what that sounds like and what that

means to you and I

as believers because I want you to see

in Psalm 22:14, this is what the word

Psalms 22:14

says. Says, "I am poured out like

water." Somebody say, "Poured out."

poured out.

>> I I want you to understand in that

teaching I brought out to them that this

is not just poetry from the book of

Psalms. This was legitimate prophecy.

Prophecy about the death of Christ.

But not just that, but prophecy about

what he was willing to give to each one

of us. And can I tell you, precious, he

was willing to give everything.

everything.

Not not part of his life, not a portion,

not a measure, but he gave his full

measure of devotion to you and I so that

we could be forgiven

and so that YOU AND I COULD HAVE LIFE

and have it more

abundantly.

And in this teaching,

the Holy Spirit revealed to me while I

was preparing for it that our staff does

so well and they pour out so much to

everybody.

And I began to pray and say, "God, I

know they pour out and they do and they

they they serve with excellence and they

love this house and they love these

people and they do everything they can

to to fulfill the vision, Lord, that you

have given to me to steward and the

mission you've given to me to steward."

And they do it so well. But yet, God,

they pour out consistently.

And I told them, there will be times,

because this is just the truth. If

you're going to be in ministry, there

will be times you will pour from an

empty cup.

It will happen.

There are times that each one of us, if

we're going to serve God for any length

of time, that we will pour from an empty

cup.

And we'll say, "God, I'm pouring. and

I've given everything I've got, but what

about me?

That's not a selfish thing. And I don't

want you to think it is.

It's a selfish thing if that's all we

think about.

>> But it's not a selfish thing where we

are running on empty, running on fumes,

and we're saying, "God, what about me?"

And I said, "Yes, there will be times

that we pour oursel out and we give

oursel and we give and we give and we

may not get the return we want in the

moment that we want." But can I tell you

that the cycle that we see in John

chapter number 7 37 through 38 Jesus

said, "If anyone's thirsty, come to me

and let them drink." He said, "And they

will believe." And he said this, "Out of

their bellies, OUT OF THEIR hearts shall

flow rivers of living water." WHAT IS HE

TALKING ABOUT? HE'S TALKING ABOUT LATER

THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT IS

TO COME TO THE LIFE OF THE BELIEVERS.

And if they're going TO RECEIVE IT, THEY

HAVE TO BELIEVE HIM FIRST.

THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RUNNING TO

HIM AND SAYING, "GOD, FILL ME UP." AND

ANOTHER DIFFERENCE IS RUNNING TO HIM AND

SAYING, "FATHER, fill me up."

>> WHEN HE'S YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER, HE'S

GOING TO FILL YOU. WHEN I TOLD OUR

STAFF, I SAID, "You're going to pour and

you're going to pour and you're going to

pour and you're going to pour. But I'm

going to tell you, every time you pour,

there's a heavenly father taking note of

that. And at some point, he's going to

turn around and you're going to look at

him and say, "Father, I need you." And

then he's going to open up the windows

of heaven and pour you out a blessing

you don't even have room enough to

receive.

>> And can I talk real today? Can Can we

put that scripture back up there? Psalm

22:14 real quick. Thank you. Can I tell

you that there is some people in this

room this morning that you have poured

yourself out time and time and time

again.

You You may be a son or a daughter and

you're trying your best to to to HOLD

THINGS TOGETHER AT THE HOUSE AND YOU'RE

TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW DO I MAKE SENSE

OF THIS? GOD, I'M PRAYING. I'M

BELIEVING. GOD, YOU'RE ABLE TO TURN

THINGS AROUND AND YOU POURED YOURSELF

OUT IN PRAYER AND YOU POURED YOURSELF

OUT IN SERVING AND YOU'VE DONE THESE

THINGS. CAN I TELL YOU, GOD IS GETTING

READY TO pour back into your cup this

morning. You may be a husband, a father

who has stood on the front lines and

said, "I have fought for my family. I've

stood in the gap, but pastor, I AM WEARY

THIS MORNING. I AM WORE OUT. I DON'T

KNOW WHAT TO DO. I'M NOT SURE WHERE MY

NEXT BREATH IS GOING TO COME FROM. IT'S

BEEN INTENSE. IT'S BEEN PAINFUL. AND I

DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I JUST NEED MY

father again."

Can I tell you today

there's mom there's a mom in here that

you have poured out consistently time

and time and time again.

You've given of yourself. You've laid it

on the line and you've given every bit

of your energy saying, "Lord, I want to

do this to please you." But now, guess

what? You're in this place and you find

yourself empty today.

There may be some people in here that

you have served faithfully for decades.

You say, "Pastor, I've given and given

and given and I feel like what you

described a little bit ago that I I'm

like one of those one of the staff

members or I'm like one of people in

ministry that I have I am pouring from

an empty cup today. I'm doing my best. I

am here

and I made it.

I felt that.

I felt that. Can I tell you, you're in

good company today

because you're not coming here and found

a fake pastor

that's going to fill you full of

baloney,

religious baloney. I'm not here to do

that. I'm here to let you know there's

times where it's a struggle.

There's times where it don't make sense.

There's times whenever I have to push

through my own flesh and say, "Get up

and preach the word."

There's times that I got to say, "Get up

and lead.

Get up and do it. I know you're tired.

Get up." I hear the Holy Spirit say to

me, "On the other side of your

obedience,

on the other side of your obedience, I'm

going to pour something out on your

people today."

And I say that with all honor and

respect to the Lord today and gravity in

his presence that I believe somebody's

cup is about to be filled with the

spirit and the power of God.

And I say to you what that scripture

says where he's talking about his

savior. I am poured out like water. If

anybody understood, it was Jesus hanging

on the cross

with his arms stretched wide in between

heaven and earth AS A BRIDGE FOR EVERY

human soul to cross into eternity with

his father. He is there pouring himself

out. They stuck a spirit in his side.

BLOOD AND WATER BOTH COME OUT OF that

side so that you and I can have life and

have it more abundantly.

For I say unto you that I did all of

this for you.

I did this so that you could be

refreshed.

I did this so in the midst of your

valley of dryness that you would have

refreshing for your soul today. Lean

into my presence. And when you walk out

of this building, you will know that I

have refreshed your life. And no man has

received from me today. and I will be

your refreshing, says the King of Kings

and the Lord of Lords.

Oh, can we raise our hands all over this

house and give him worship and give him

praise? Come on. He's here in this

place.

Can I tell you that scripture is so

powerful because he said, "I'm poured

out like water."

And can I tell you, he was poured out so

you would never be empty today.

He was poured out so you would never be

empty. You say, "Pastor, I need to be

filled. I need to be filled with his

presence. I need a refreshing for my

soul. Can I tell you? You've come to the

right place. And I'm not going to sit

here and try to manufacture anything

because I feel like there's people in

the room that would say, "Pastor, I just

need him to refresh me. And I need to

know what to do next. I'm going to give

you clear instructions. If you need him

to refresh your soul, I'm not going to

wait to call an altar call. I'm going to

say this altar is open. If you need him

to pour into your cup, then you get out

from where you are right now and you

come meet your pastor right down here

cuz I need him, too." Are you ready? 1 2

3. If you need to fill your cup, come

on. Come on. They're coming. They're

coming. I dare you to give God praise

for those that are coming from across

this room. Come on. Some of you that are

praising, you need to step out from

where you are and say, "God, I need a
