Recover Your Edge | Pastor Jesse Jernigan | 3.8.26 (Sermon)

I don't know about you, but it changed

my life, and I'm going to ask you to

grab your Bibles, go to the the 2 Kings

chapter number 6, and just stand for the

reading of God's word. I got seven

verses, and then I'm going to let you

sit down, and then I'm going to preach,

and it's up to you whether you stand,

sit, turn around, sit down, jump, run,

whatever after that. But, I believe the

Lord has given me a word for somebody in

the house. Look at your neighbor and

say, "He's talking about you today."

He is talking about you today.

2 Kings chapter number 6.

Start with verse number 1, and when you

get it, say, "I got it."

The word of God says it like this, "And

the sons of the prophets

said to Elisha,

'See now, the place where we dwell with

you is too small for us.

Please,

let us go to the Jordan, and let every

man take a beam from there,

and let us make there a place where we

may dwell.'

So, Elisha answered and said, 'Go.'

Somebody shout, 'Go.'

Then one said, 'Please consent,' talking

to Elisha, 'to go with your servants.'

And Elisha answered again and said, 'I

will go.'

So, he went with them, and when they

came to the Jordan, they cut down trees.

They were all working together for one

purpose, for one reason, they were in

unity. Somebody holler, "Unity."

Verse number 5 says, "But as one of them

as one was cutting down a tree,

the iron ax head fell into the water,

and he cried out and said, 'Alas,

master.'"

In other words, when you go back and you

look that that little statement up,

"Alas, master,

basically, it was a cry.

He didn't say, um, "Excuse me, I I may

have dropped something."

It wasn't, "Oh, excuse me, Mr. Elisha."

NO, HE SAID,

HE WAS WORRIED because of the

repercussions. I don't have time to deal

with all this, but if you go back in the

Old Testament, when you borrow something

that you lose something, there were some

very strenuous repercussions that would

come to your life if you could not

recover and return it to the original

owner. So, he was internally going

crazy. SO, THE ONLY RESPONSE HE HAD WAS,

"AH, IT WAS BORROWED."

SO, HE WENT ON TO SAY something

significant in that moment. So, the the

man of God

did not look at him and say, "How dare

you, you worthless servant, you terrible

person. You should have taken better

care of that." That's not what Elisha

said. He said, "Where did it fall?"

I want to preach right now, but I can't.

I got to wait.

And the Bible says, "And the the son of

the prophet, this individual, this young

prophet, showed him the place."

So, he cut off a stick. This is Elisha

now. Elisha cut off a stick, threw it in

the water, and he made the iron float.

Therefore, he said to the the son of the

prophet that was in front of him, he

said, "Pick it up for yourself."

So, he reached out his hand

and took it. Man, there's so much I see

right there, but I'm going to ask the

Holy Spirit to give me clarity to preach

exactly what he wants me to speak over

this house. And I feel like today that

somebody's about to be free, and I

believe this with all my heart. You want

my title of message, here it comes.

Recover your edge. Recover your edge.

Can I pray for you? Father, in the name

of Jesus, I pray that your power would

rest on this house. I pray that your

glory would rest on this word. I submit

myself, I surrender myself to your word

today. Lord, have your way. Help me to

articulate it the way that you would

want me to have it be or you would want

it to be said in this house. And Lord,

I'll give you praise for it. In Jesus

name we pray and everybody says, "Amen

and amen." You may be seated in the

presence of the Lord this morning.

As I begin this message and

this thought process that the Holy

Spirit has directed me in this morning,

I I have to

uh first go to a scripture in 1

Thessalonians chapter number four

and begin with verse number 16

and let you understand some basic

principles of where we are right now in

the world and what is going on with

where we are because I feel like this

verse is read with excitement, but also

read with laziness in the same tone.

Because it says this, it says, "For the

Lord himself will descend from heaven

with a shout,

with the voice of an archangel, and with

the trumpet of God. And the dead in

Christ will rise first. Then we who are

alive and remain." Do I have anybody

alive and remaining in the house? Oh,

come on.

Oh, yeah. Yeah, I I see us right there.

Then we who are alive and remain shall

be caught up together with them in the

clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And

he said, "And thus we shall always be

with the Lord."

Can I tell you that we read this

scripture and we have read it I have

preached this thing so many times that

it does not even make sense how many

times I preached out the scripture.

But I want the people that are under my

care and under my leadership to

understand that Jesus is really coming.

I I I just can Can I notify everybody in

the room and everybody watching by live

stream today that Jesus is really about

to call his church home and I think a

lot of times we've lost sight of this in

trying to gain things in this world and

access and gain authority and gain

structure and power and influence and

all these things and there's nothing

wrong with that in its context, but may

we never forget the reason why the

church is here and that is to get the

bride ready to meet the bridegroom Jesus

Christ. And I want to remind us one more

time Jesus is about to return.

If you're looking for him, I dare you to

give him a little praise right now. Come

on.

The fact is though that we have read the

scripture

with only the exit in mind.

We we've read this AND WE'VE ALL ALMOST

USED THIS AS AN EXCUSE. Anybody got

cruise control on their vehicle?

Come on, you know you use it probably

more than you should.

Maybe Well, actually, let me say you may

need to use it more than you do.

It may keep you out of trouble.

BUT A LOT OF TIMES CHRISTIANS AND

ESPECIALLY if I can go ahead and just

point in this direction in the

Pentecostal persuasion because I am

Pentecostal and I've been guilty of this

before myself that we will read the

scripture and feel like it gives us

permission to put the cruise control on

and do nothing for the Lord but exist

until we hear the trumpet sound.

Come on, somebody.

THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT IS PEOPLE WILL

USE THIS TO BRING FEAR ON people's life

and say, "Oh, you better do this and

better do that." I remember when I was

growing up whenever I was in church that

I felt like if I made one wrong move, a

lightning bolt from heaven was coming

and going to evaporate me. Come on.

Anybody else raised that same way? I

mean it's it's all right. It's okay. But

I felt that so many times AND IT'S

EITHER ONE OF THE TWO EXTREMES, BUT THE

FACT IS THAT THIS SCRIPTURE SHOULD NOT

INVOKE FEAR ON OUR LIFE, BUT IT ALSO

SHOULD NOT INVOKE LAZINESS, BUT IT

SHOULD INVOKE A POWER IN OUR LIFE TO LET

US KNOW THAT WE ARE NOT here by

accident, baby. This church HAS NOT BEEN

ESTABLISHED JUST TO EXIST, BUT THIS

CHURCH HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED SO THAT WE

COULD PUSH BACK DARKNESS and take

territory for the kingdom OF GOD. SO, I

WANT TO KNOW IS THERE ANYBODY ELSE IN

THE HOUSE THAT WOULD SAY, "I'M NOT

INTERESTED IN JUST PUTTING ON THE CRUISE

CONTROL, BUT I AM INTERESTED, PASTOR, IN

FULFILLING THE GREAT MISSION, THE

CO-MISSION THAT GOD GAVE US, AND THAT IS

TO GO IN ALL THE EARTH AND MAKE

DISCIPLES, BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF

THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY

GHOST." IS THERE ANY CHURCH FOLK IN THE

HOUSE TODAY THAT WOULD SAY, "I'M NOT

INTERESTED IN BEING LAZY. I'M INTERESTED

IN TAKING TERRITORY FOR THE kingdom of

God."

Look at your neighbor and say, "Don't be

lazy."

And then tell them again, say, "Don't be

fearful."

This is not the blessed fear. It is the

blessed hope.

WE HAVE A HOPE THAT ONE DAY HE'S GOING

TO CALL us home.

But then if you if you will allow me for

a second,

that is the truth. He is coming back and

we should not be fearful. We should not

be stagnant in the same definition, but

we should be doing and accomplishing the

will of God for our life. Can I tell you

what the will of God is for our life?

Second Corinthians chapter 5, and many

2 Corinthians 5 · chapter mention

of you know these scriptures. Verse

number 17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is

in Christ, he is a new creation. All

things have passed away, and behold, all

things have become brand new." But then

I want you to see something significant,

what the scripture says, "Now all things

are of God, who has reconciled us to

himself through Jesus Christ, and has

given us the ministry of

reconciliation."

He has given us the ministry of

reconciliation. THAT IS THAT GOD WAS IN

CHRIST RECONCILING THE WORLD TO HIMSELF,

not imputing their trespasses to them. I

don't KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT IF I can just

read that one scripture right THERE,

THAT MAKES ME SO EXCITED. That means

THAT ALL THE MISTAKES I MADE in my past,

when I come to Christ, he don't even

remember them. He don't count them to my

charge. They're not on my account

anymore. COME ON, SOMEBODY. BUT MY

ACCOUNT has been washed clean by the

power and the presence of God. IS THERE

ANYBODY EXCITED AND THANKFUL that you

got a brand new start through Jesus

Christ, your savior and your lord?

He did not put them on our account.

Watch this, but he's also committed to

you and I the word of reconciliation.

So, we have the ministry of

reconciliation and the word of

reconciliation,

but the fact is a lot of the church, if

they're not careful, they want to put it

on cruise control and forget we've got a

message and we've got a ministry and

we've got authority at the same time.

Cuz here's what's SO BEAUTIFUL ABOUT IT.

WHEN WE RECOGNIZE OUR PLACE IN HISTORY,

YES, HE'S ABOUT TO RETURN. YES, HE'S

ABOUT TO COME GET HIS CHURCH. YES, THE

TRUMPET IS ABOUT TO SOUND, BUT THAT DOES

NOT GIVE ME THE RIGHT TO SIT ON THE

SIDELINE. THAT ACTUALLY PUTS ME IN the

game. IF I AM A BELIEVER THAT GOD HAS

GIVEN ME SOMETHING TO CARRY ON THIS

EARTH AND THAT IS THE MINISTRY OF

RECONCILIATION. BUT I'M THANKFUL HE

DIDN'T JUST GIVE ME A MINISTRY WITHOUT

GIVING ME POWER ON THE OTHER SIDE.

BECAUSE HE GAVE ME THE MINISTRY, I'VE

GOT THE WORD OF RECONCILIATION. WHAT IS

THAT, PASTOR? THAT I ONCE WAS LOST,

BUT NOW I'm found through Jesus Christ.

COME ON. YOU SAY, "WHAT'S MY WORD?" THE

WORD IS THAT I ONCE WAS BLIND, BUT NOW I

CAN SEE. I MAY NOT HAVE EVERY SCRIPTURE

MEMORIZED, BUT THERE'S ONE THING I CAN

TELL YOU, THAT ONCE I WAS BROKEN AND I

WAS BUSTED AND I WAS ON MY WAY TO HELL,

BUT SOMEWHERE JESUS CAME DOWN AND PULLED

ME OUT OF THE MIRY CLAY AND I DECLARE TO

YOU THAT YOU'VE GOT A TESTIMONY AND YOU

CAN OPEN YOUR MOUTH THROUGH THE MINISTRY

OF RECONCILIATION THROUGH THE WORD OF

HIS POWER AND LET THE WORLD KNOW that

they don't have to die and go to hell.

So, look at your neighbor and say,

"Welcome to the ministry."

And I'm going to go ahead and let you

have this because we're going to preach

we will preach be preaching about this

over the next couple months that

everybody in the room is in ministry.

There are no spectator seats in the

kingdom of God.

Oh, I found my place. We preach right

here for a while.

Cuz I want you TO UNDERSTAND THAT GOD

HAS GIVEN YOU THIS MINISTRY. It's up to

you what you do with it.

You say, "Well, I'm waiting on pastor to

put me put a title on me and then I'll

do I'll do the ministry."

Well, you're going to be waiting a long

time, bro.

Hello, somebody.

Say, "Well, I want to be recognized for

what I do." Well, then you're in the

wrong church.

I'm going to stare at the screen when I

say that.

Because it's not about us being

recognized. The Bible didn't say, "If I

am lifted up from the earth, then he'll

draw all men."

Hello, somebody. He said, "If Christ is

lifted up from the earth." Woo! Come on.

Is there anybody in the house that would

just get with pastor this morning? I

know I'm preaching a minute, but let me

just teach preach a little bit right

here and let you know that we have an

awesome opportunity right now with the

world being in the chaos that they are

in to find our identity in Christ,

understand we've got a ministry,

understand we've got the authority, and

stand up and say, "You know what? I am

here to lift up one name and one name

only and that is the name OF JESUS

CHRIST. IF HE CAN REDEEM ME, BABY, OH,

HE can sure redeem you." If you knew THE

MESS HE BROUGHT ME OUT OF, YOU WOULD

HAVE NO PROBLEM COMING TO AN ALTAR AND

SAY, "OH, I KNOW HE CAN HANDLE THAT."

YOU SAY, "WELL, I'M BOUND BY DRUGS THIS

MORNING." LET ME TELL YOU, I CAN LOOK

AROUND THIS ROOM AND POINT OUT PEOPLE

TODAY THAT ONCE WERE IN THAT LIFESTYLE,

BUT NOW THEY HAVE BEEN SET FREE BY THE

POWER OF GOD. SOMEBODY IN THE HOUSE SAY,

"I'M ON THE EDGE OF DIVORCE." LET ME

TELL YOU, I CAN LOOK AROUND THE ROOM AND

SEE PEOPLE WHO WERE ABOUT TO THROW IN

THE TOWEL, BUT THEY'RE HERE TODAY

BECAUSE OF THE RESURRECTION POWER OF

JESUS CHRIST. AND I'M GOING TO TELL YOU,

YOU ARE NO DIFFERENT THAN GOD. HE SAID,

"I'VE GOT YOU. I'LL BRING YOU OUT. I

WILL SET YOUR FEET IN A ESTABLISH YOU IN

MY KINGDOM."

I'm not preaching, I'm just teaching

right now.

But I want you to understand, you are

not too far gone that God cannot redeem

you.

You are not too far gone that he cannot

redeem you.

Because if he can redeem us,

he can redeem you as well.

And he doesn't redeem you

just to sit

on your blessed assurance

and do nothing.

Somebody say, "Well, I don't like it

when you say that." Well, blame that on

Glenn Lowry. I learned that from him.

I don't care.

Go take it up with him.

I'm going to tell you this, God did not

save you for you just to exist until the

trumpet sounds.

He is calling you to a higher place this

morning.

How beautiful is it

that we can look into this situation

that we're in in the current climate of

our world and be able to articulate the

fact that God did not save us just to

put us on a shelf and say, "Ooh, look at

that trophy." But God saved us to use us

to bring his kingdom to this earth.

Wow. How And the fact that he wants to

use us.

The fact that he desires to use you and

I baffles my mind knowing what I have

done, knowing where I have been, knowing

the mistakes that I have made, BUT YET

HE STILL SAYS, "I love you enough and

I've got a plan for you." CAN I TELL YOU

THAT IS SOMETHING THAT YOU AND I AND

THIS CHURCH, WE WILL HANG ON TO WITH

EVERYTHING WE HAVE BECAUSE I'M GOING TO

TELL YOU NO OTHER RELIGION, NO OTHER GOD

WOULD DO THAT FOR YOU. BUT I'M THANKFUL

I SERVE THE ONE who paid it all so I

could be in the game. Can you say amen?

Come on, 1 2 3, give God a praise in the

house if you believe it.

SO WE LOOK AT THIS AND UNDERSTAND he is

coming.

And we understand that we have the

ministry of reconciliation, but we also

have the power to to operate in the

ministry of of reconciliation. But then

we also come to the scripture today

where we see something significant

happening in the ministry of Elisha and

the sons of the prophets.

You see what is going on before our eyes

as we begin to read the scripture verses

1 through 7. We see at the very

beginning verses 1 through 4, we see

something significant that takes place

and this is just after after they saw

the leper healed and they see they see

all these things take place and miracle

after miracle. And can I tell you God

was advancing them and doing great and

mighty things through them. And what was

so beautiful is that the sons of the

prophets, NOT IN A DISRESPECTFUL WAY,

THEY DID NOT COME TO ELISHA AND SAY,

"HEY, LISTEN, we can't live with you

anymore. We got to figure this out. Come

on, you snore too loud at night." Come

come on, somebody.

Come on, we got to have our own room, we

got to have our own space. That's not

what they were saying to Elisha. They

were saying God has expanded us so much

that now the room that we are in cannot

hold us anymore.

Woo, come on.

I I can I just tell you a few things

right here that I believe that these

young men that were coming up underneath

Elisha in that moment, God was using

them significantly too. And because of

that, their influence grew. And then

other people said, "Hey, I feel the call

of God on my life." and jumped into the

middle of what GOD WAS DOING. AND HERE'S

WHAT I DECLARE OVER YOU THAT THIS MUCH

as they were looking at Elisha and

saying, "We're thankful for what we

have, but we got to make some more room.

Can I tell you that I believe in this

house prophetically? Can I just go ahead

and prophesy over this house? THAT I'M

THANKFUL FOR WHAT GOD HAS DONE. I'M

THANKFUL for what he IS DOING, BUT I

BELIEVE in the name of Jesus we're about

to outgrow everything that we have in

the name of Come ON, SOMEBODY. IS THERE

ANYBODY IN THE HOUSE THAT WOULD AGREE

WITH PASTOR AND SAY, "I KNOW I'VE SEEN

MIRACLES BEFORE, BUT GOD IS ABOUT TO

BRING THEM IN EXPONENTIAL MOMENTS INSIDE

OF THIS HOUSE?" I BELIEVE IF WE SEEN

MIRACLES BEFORE, YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING

YET, BABY. I BELIEVE WE'RE FIXING TO SEE

CANCER DRY UP. I BELIEVE WE'RE ABOUT TO

SEE THOSE WHO WERE DRUG ADDICTED COME IN

AND LAY THEIR DRUGS ON THE ALTAR. I

BELIEVE WE'RE GOING TO SEE FAMILIES

RESTORED. I BELIEVE WE'RE GOING TO SEE

LIMBS STRAIGHTEN OUT. I BELIEVE PEOPLE

THAT COULDN'T WALK ARE ABOUT TO RUN. I

BELIEVE PEOPLE THAT COULD NOT ARTICULATE

ARE ABOUT TO SPEAK UNDER THE POWER OF

GOD. COME ON, I'M LOOKING FOR MIRACLES

IN THIS HOUSE. IS THERE ANYBODY THAT

WOULD SAY, "LORD, BUST THE DOOR OPEN,

MOVE OUR STAKES, LENGTHEN THEM, AND GOD

DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO IN OUR HOUSE?" I

DARE YOU, IF YOU'RE WITH YOUR PASTOR, 1

2 3, GIVE GOD A PRAISE IN THE HOUSE for

the fact THAT HE'S GOING TO DO IT.

THEY SAID THE PLACE WHERE WE DWELL IS

TOO SMALL. BUT WHAT WAS SO POWERFUL THAT

THEY SAID IN THAT MOMENT IS THEY ASKED

ELISHA, "CAN'T WE GO AND BUILD ANOTHER

PLACE?" AND HE SAID, "ABSOLUTELY, YOU

CAN GO." BUT HE ALSO CAME BACK THAT SAME

SON OF THE PROPHET AND LOOKED AT ELISHA

AND SAID, "LISTEN, I'M ASKING YOU,

PLEASE, WILL YOU GO WITH US?"

"PLEASE, WILL YOU GO WITH US?" AND LORD,

I ASKED THE LORD, I SAID, "LORD, WHAT

ARE YOU SAYING IN THIS MOMENT?" HE SAID

THAT THERE'S MANY PEOPLE THAT HAVE

ENTERED INTO AN EXPANSION SEASON IN

THEIR FAMILY, IN THEIR CHURCH, AND IN

THEIR BUSINESS. AND WHAT THEY DID IS

THEY FORGOT THE MAIN FACTOR. THEY LEFT

ME BACK AT THE HOUSE, AND THEY WENT AND

TRIED TO DO IT THEIRSELF. CAN I TELL YOU

THIS BRINGS BACK TO THE SAME THOUGHT

PROCESS THAT I DO BEFORE I COME OUT HERE

ON THIS STAGE. I SAY, "HOLY SPIRIT, IF

YOU'RE NOT GOING WITH ME, I DO NOT WANT

TO GO. WHAT WERE THEY SAYING TO ELISHA?

THEY SAID, "IF YOU WILL NOT GO WITH US,

WE ARE NOT GOING TO EXPAND." IT'S THE

SAME REFERENCE POINT FOR US AS A PERSON.

IF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS NOT GOING TO TAKE

THIS NEXT STEP WITH ME, I DO NOT WANT TO

TAKE IT. SO, LET ME GO AHEAD AND JUST

IDENTIFY THIS FOR YOU. YOU SAY, "PASTOR,

I'M BELIEVING FOR GREATER THINGS IN MY

FAMILY." I'M WITH YOU, BUT I'M GOING TO

TELL YOU THIS, DO NOT MAKE A MOVE

WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT CONFIRMING THAT

WORD INSIDE OF YOUR LIFE. I'M GOING TO

SAY THIS OVER THIS HOUSE, FOR ME, MY

MINISTERS, MY STAFF, MY BOARD, I'M GOING

TO SAY THIS, WE WILL NOT EXPAND UNTIL

THE HOLY SPIRIT SAYS, "YES, I WILL GO

WITH YOU. I'LL GO BEFORE YOU. COME ON,

I'LL PAVE EVERY WAY INSIDE OF YOUR

LIFE." HOW MANY CAN SAY, "I DO NOT WANT

TO MAKE A MOVE WITHOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT

ON THE INSIDE OF ME?" I DON'T WANT TO

BREATHE, I DON'T WANT TO PREACH, I DON'T

WANT TO SING, I DON'T WANT TO DO

ANYTHING WITHOUT THE HOLY GHOST.

SO, I say, "Holy Spirit,

go with us."

I entreat YOU, WILL YOU GO WITH us in

this next season?

And so, the beauty is,

I'm going to let this be known in this

house, the Holy Spirit said, "Yes, I'm

going with you in the next season."

Woo, come on. 1 2 3, give him praise in

the house.

HE IS GOING WITH US.

He has a purpose, he has a plan.

And I'm going to say this, if he's going

with us,

it's time to get to work.

Elbow your neighbor say, "Let's cut down

some trees."

Woo, that means we got to be together in

unity. Can you imagine

the excitement that was on the sons of

the prophet in that moment?

They had to be jumping up and down,

toting their little axes, running around

saying, "Elisha said we could go build a

new building. This is going to be

awesome."

GET GET ME TO THE TREE. THEY GET ALL THE

WAY DOWN TO THE JORDAN

AND THEY begin to chop wood.

But here's what I want you to

understand, they had a mind made up.

They were going to cut, they were going

to work, and they were going to build,

but they weren't going to do it

separately.

They made up their mind, "I'm going to

do it together."

All their efforts were centralized on

one thing,

and that was we have to expand where we

are so we can see the glory of God

revealed.

Can I speak over this house again

prophetically this morning that the Lord

is calling us from the outskirts and

he's saying, "Let's come together with

one purpose, and that is to build the

kingdom of God right here in this area."

There is too much religion that needs to

be pushed back. There is too much

darkness that needs to be shifted out of

the way for us to be divided in our

stance. It may not look like it's always

looked, but you got to get over that and

say, "Lord, what do you have for me in

this next season?" Thank God he was with

us before, BUT IF HE'S GOING TO BE WITH

ME AGAIN, I DON'T WANT TO STAY WHERE HE

is not anymore. I want to be right in

the middle OF WHAT HE HAS FOR MY LIFE.

IS THERE ANYBODY THAT WOULD SAY, "I'm

ready to STAY IN STEP WITH THE HOLY

SPIRIT?" THAT MEANS I GOT TO GET USED TO

SOME THINGS CHANGING. I GOT TO GET USED

TO TO SOME THINGS SHIFTING. I GOT TO GET

USED TO SOME DIFFERENT VOICES STANDING

BEHIND A PULPIT BECAUSE I BELIEVE

THERE'S A GENERATION THAT ARE TRAVELING

BACK FROM CHATTANOOGA RIGHT NOW THAT HAD

AN ENCOUNTER WITH THE HOLY GHOST THIS

WEEKEND AND THEY'RE ABOUT TO SHOW UP

WITH A VOICE THAT'S ON FIRE AND SAY,

THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD THAT GOD IS

ABOUT TO DO SOMETHING. IF WE BELIEVE THE

WORD OF GOD, WE GOT TO BELIEVE IT ALL

THE WAY OUT THAT OUR SONS AND OUR

DAUGHTERS ARE ABOUT TO PROPHESY IN THIS

HOUSE." I'M LOOKING FOR A MOVE OF THE

HOLY SPIRIT THAT'S ABOUT TO SHIFT THE

ATMOSPHERE AND SHIFT THE EXPECTATIONS OF

MEN AND WOMEN. AND I WANT TO KNOW, DO I

HAVE ANYBODY IN THE HOUSE THAT WILL SAY,

"PASTOR, LET'S GO AFTER EVERYTHING GOD

HAS FOR THIS GENERATION, EVERYTHING GOD

HAS FOR MY FAMILY AND FOR THIS

HOUSE.

But we got to be in unity. Look at your

neighbor say be in unity.

But the Bible says this, AS THEY WERE

CUTTING down the trees in unity,

something happened that was unforeseen

in that moment.

One of them was cutting

and as he was cutting the tree, the

Bible says his ax head fell into the

water.

It slipped off the end

of his ax head

and fell in the water. Thank God it

didn't hit anybody on the way through.

Come on somebody.

You've been around some of the people

that

wield a hammer, wield a ax and baby you

better watch out for your life. Come on

somebody.

Cuz they ain't paying attention to

nobody.

It's like, hey, we're here too. We

working too. Don't kill us.

But they worked together in such unity

that even when things went wrong, it

didn't affect everybody.

Come on somebody.

The fact is this morning

that in this moment

in this moment the young prophet lost

his edge.

What he was using

for the kingdom. Now watch this.

This this part right here would have

been a lot easier to articulate and

digest if this young prophet had fallen

into sin and lost his ax head.

If he had went into rebellion and lost

his ax head.

If he had run away and said, well, I

know you guys are going to build this

building but you know, this is a better

location. Let's go over here and do

this.

And he lost it. I would have been able

to say, well, dummy, that was stupid.

Come on. Anybody ever done something

stupid before?

All right. At least I got some honest

people in the house.

We we've done some stupid things BUT

WE'RE NOT TALKING about stupid things

because he was working in the kingdom.

Woo.

He wasn't doing something wrong. He

wasn't sinful. He wasn't He wasn't

outside the grace that God had put on

HIS LIFE. HE WAS DOING WHAT EVERYBODY

ELSE WAS DOING THAT MOMENT AND called to

be part of. But watch this. HE WAS

WORKING in the kingdom and lost his

edge.

And this means, and I want you to hear

my heart behind this, cuz I'm going

somewhere with this. THIS MEANS THAT YOU

AND I CAN BE IN the right place

at the right time

doing the right thing and still lose our

edge.

And I'm not saying that to bring fear to

your life.

I'm not saying that to TO LOOK AT YOU

AND SAY, WELL, you at some point we're

going to look at you and say, how dare

you? No, we're in the ministry of

reconciliation.

Come on somebody.

We There is room for grace in this

house.

If the If YOU CAN'T COME TO CHURCH AND

FIND GRACE, THEN WHAT ARE YOU IN? YOU'RE

NOT IN A CHURCH, YOU'RE IN A SOCIAL

CLUB, BABY.

They say, well, you don't meet our

standard, YOU DON'T DO ALL THIS, YOU

DON'T NOW, I'M NOT SAYING THAT WE CAN GO

WILLY-NILLY AND NOT HAVE ANY KIND of

standards. That's not WHAT I'M TALKING

ABOUT. BUT WHAT I'M TELLING YOU IS IF WE

CAN'T find grace in those moments that

we're working in the kingdom, we are

head down saying, God, this is for your

glory, AND THEN SOMETHING HAPPENS AND WE

ACCIDENTALLY LOSE OUR EDGE, THEN WE

CANNOT CRUCIFY PEOPLE. WE'VE GOT TO

BRING THEM BACK.

TRY MY BEST, cuz I can get really really

crazy right there, but I'm not going to

do it.

I want you to see this.

His ax head wasn't dull.

It was lost.

It It It was like lost lost.

It was gone.

He went back.

Was ready to swing, came back, just a

wooden stick.

Cuz many people look at this and say,

well, hey.

It's gone. So, what's he going to do

now? I'll be honest with you. If you

have a dull axe,

you can still use it.

You may not be as effective.

We're going to talk about that in a

couple weeks, too. The Lord gave me some

fresh revelation on that. We're going to

talk about that. But, I'm going to say

this, you can use a dull axe head, it's

going to cause you to work a little

harder, and even maybe maybe you get in

a fight, you get in a tussle. Can I tell

you a dull axe head will work. Can I get

a witness?

It's better than have I can keep them at

arms length and say, pow, pow, pow. You

know, get after them.

Hallelujah. Or use the other side of it,

the blunt side and say, hey, take them

out.

There are purposes to a dull axe head,

but I want YOU TO UNDERSTAND HIS PURPOSE

WAS GONE.

His abilities

were gone.

His effectiveness

was gone.

And this is how it happens a lot of time

with us in the church. His passion was

gone.

WHAT ONCE WAS SO IMPORTANT TO ME, WHAT

ONCE I WOULD GIVE MY LIFE FOR, FOR SOME

REASON OR ANOTHER, I DON'T UNDERSTAND.

I'VE BEEN WORKING, I'VE BEEN DOING, I'VE

BEEN OBEYING, I'VE BEEN READING MY WORD,

I'VE BEEN PRAYING, I'VE BEEN SHOWING TO

CHURCH, I'VE BEEN SERVING IN KIDS

CHURCH, I've been serving IN YOUTH, I'VE

BEEN SERVING IN THE PARKING LOT, I'VE

BEEN SERVING, DOING ALL THESE THINGS,

BUT IT FEELS LIKE MY PASSION IS JUST

GONE.

FEELS LIKE EVERYTHING WITHIN ME, I WANT

TO DO IT, I HAVE A DESIRE SOMEWHERE DEEP

INSIDE OF ME, BUT I JUST CANNOT MUSTER

UP THE STRENGTH. Can I tell you maybe

you have lost your edge.

AND THE HOLY SPIRIT SENT ME HERE TODAY

TO LOOK AT YOU AND SAY, you may have

lost your edge, but in the name of

Jesus, we about to get that edge back.

Come on, somebody.

Come on, I wish I had some folks that

would give God a little praise right

there.

SOMEBODY SITTING BESIDE YOU MAY NOT HAVE

THE ENERGY TO PRAISE GOD OVER THAT, BUT

I DARE YOU TO PRAISE GOD FOR THE ONE

SITTING BESIDE YOU. THAT SOMEBODY IS

ABOUT TO GET UP OUT OF THIS HOUSE AND

SAY, I GOT MY EDGE BACK. I GOT MY

PASSION BACK. I GOT MY BURDEN BACK. I

GOT IT BACK TODAY IN JESUS' NAME.

Can I tell you

somebody lost their edge.

But watch this.

I did all kinds of research trying to

find this and the only place I could

find where there was a number of people

that were the prophets was a few

chapters before in Second Kings where it

said there was about 50 of them that

gathered together.

50 in that chapter is great and they

probably were okay to be housed in

Elisha up till chapter 6, but in chapter

6, some accounts say that there were

somewhere between 85 and 150 of them.

So from chapter 2, whatever it was or

chapter 3 where articulate there was 50

of them, can I tell you between there

and chapter 6 the ministry grew

exponentially.

Can you Could you just help me out and

just say this? If there was up to 150 of

them in chapter number 6, in chapter 2

there was 50, that is three times the

amount of people.

That is three times the amount of

workers. That is three And so I just

love the number three.

Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Come on. He was

buried on a Friday, but he rose on a

Sunday. One, two.

Come on, somebody. And I just have to

believe if it went from 50 to 150 in

just a couple chapters, can I go ahead

and get in a prophetic vein again and

let you know that soon and very soon

that what you see in this room is

beautiful, but I'm going to tell you

it's fixing to be times by three in

Jesus' name. Come on. Do I have anybody

that's with me that'll get with me and

say it? If you don't WANT TO CLAP ABOUT

THAT, that's between you and the Lord,

but I'm going to tell you expansion's

coming, GROWTH IS COMING, GOD'S ABOUT TO

DO IT, BUT I NEED SOMEBODY TO GIVE GOD A

NUMBER THREE PRAISE RIGHT NOW. JUMP TO

your feet and say I BELIEVE THAT GOD IS

ABOUT TO SHIFT SOME THINGS. GOD'S ABOUT

TO TURN SOME THINGS. GOD'S ABOUT TO COME

ON. THREE TIMES THE HARVEST, THREE TIMES

THE SOULS, THREE TIMES IN 2026. ONE,

TWO, THREE, GIVE HIM PRAISE in the

house.

Growth is beautiful.

BUT IT ALSO CAN LEAD SOMEBODY to a place

of isolation.

Cuz watch this. If there was 150 jokers

out there swinging an axe,

can you imagine the sight?

Ooh, they're swinging. Chop, chop, chop,

baby.

Getting after it. Man, there's axes

flying everywhere.

There's There's There's tree bark. All

this stuff is flinging all over the

place. There is A LOT OF COMMOTION GOING

ON.

AND IF ONE PERSON

OUT OF 150 loses their axe head,

who's going to know?

Oh, man. When When WHEN WE HAD WE ONLY

HAD A FEW PEOPLE hanging around here,

then we we we know if somebody lost

their axe head.

We know somebody lost their

lost their head. Come on, somebody.

WE WE WOULD KNOW IF SOMEBODY LOST THEIR

EDGE BECAUSE it's easier to manage.

BUT CAN I TELL YOU NOW WE'RE IN A PLACE

OF GROWTH to where I may not know

everything that's going on, but I know

the Holy Spirit does.

And that's why the Holy Spirit has me

preach messages like I'm preaching right

now

to let you know that this one young man

was in the middle of 150, approximately,

sons of the prophets, and they were all

chopping for the same reason, but all of

a sudden he lost his axe head. You know

what he could have done? He could have

done nothing.

HE COULD HAVE BLENDED IN WITH EVERYBODY

else around him.

And said, "Hey, let me borrow your axe

head." Come on, somebody.

Let me Let me Let me stand OVER HERE.

YOU KNOW WHAT? I'LL I'LL FAN YOU WHILE

YOU while you cut.

FORFEITING HIS ABILITY TO BE EFFECTIVE

FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD BECAUSE HE MIGHT

HAVE WANTED TO SAVE HIMSELF SOME

EMBARRASSMENT.

WOO. Can I tell you that the enemy wants

you to isolate yourself to the point

that he destroys your life?

You may say, "Well, nobody even knows.

I'm going to into the back row. People

in the back row right now getting real

nervous.

I ain't talking about y'all

specifically.

Unless maybe I need to, but

I I can JUST SLIP IN.

NOBODY WILL EVER KNOW THAT I HADN'T READ

MY Bible all week and I'm struggling.

I'm suffering.

It's the enemy's desire to make you

suffer in silence.

It is the enemy's DESIRE TO TO TALK YOU

INTO SAYING, WELL, THERE'S THERE'S 250

other people here. You can just blend

in.

JUST JUST BLEND IN. HEY, YOU KNOW WHAT?

JUST GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS. MAKE IT

LOOK LIKE YOU GOT a little joy.

Come on.

YOU CAN FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT. YOU

CAN YOU CAN THROW YOUR HAND UP AND SAY,

OH, THIS IS SO GREAT. IT'S BEAUTIFUL.

But then when you walk out, you're just

as depressed as when you walked in.

Come in and YOU CAN PUT ON A SHOW AND

SAY, OH, PASTOR, I LOVE THE LORD.

EVERYTHING'S GREAT AND EVERYTHING'S

GOING WONDERFUL AND EVERYTHING'S GOOD.

NOTHING'S WRONG. I'M STILL AS

PASSIONATE, BUT YET YOU HAVEN'T GAVE and

you haven't served and you haven't

prayed and you haven't read in years and

God has sent me here today to let you

know he's not letting you blend in or go

through the MOTIONS ANYMORE. HE'S GOT

YOUR NUMBER AND HE'S GOT A plan for your

life in this house. COME ON. I I WISH I

had some folk that would say, I'm

thankful. I'M THANKFUL SOMEWHERE ALONG

THE WAY HE DIDN'T LET ME BLEND IN. I'm

thankful SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY HE

DIDN'T LET US BLEND IN, BABY. BUT HE

SAID, I'VE GOT A PURPOSE. I'VE GOT A

PLAN FOR YOU. I'MMA MAKE YOU STICK OUT

LIKE A SORE THUMB, BUT I'M THANKFUL HE

RESTORED MY LIFE AND I'M THANKFUL HE

SENT ME HERE ON assignment to pull

somebody else out of the miry clay.

Look at your neighbor say, don't blend

in.

Do not blend in.

Oh, don't blend in today.

Because God's got a purpose.

God's got a plan for your life.

For the Lord says to you today, I see

you right where you are.

I see what you are facing.

I see everything that you have been

through.

But it has not gone unnoticed, and today

I am calling you to a higher place.

in, and do not fold in, but today run to

me and I will make you brand new, says

the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

The son of the prophet

did not blend in with everybody else.

The son of the prophet didn't blend in.

He didn't hide. He didn't go through the

motions.

HE LITERALLY SAID, "AH!"

NOT BECAUSE HE GOT HIT,

but because

this this this JUST EXCLAMATION OF AH!

EVERYBODY SAY, "AH!"

IT'S AN INTERJECTION INTO A MOMENT THAT

SAYS, "EVERYBODY STOP!

I'VE LOST SOMETHING."

AND HE WAS WORRIED BECAUSE IT WAS

BORROWED.

CAN I TELL YOU the passion

and the calling and the anointing and

the glory that's on your life, it ain't

yours anyways.

It was borrowed and it still is

borrowed. I don't own this anointing. I

don't own this calling, but I'm going to

tell you if I've ever lost it, the first

THING I DO IS I GET IN THE ALTAR AND I

SAY, "AH! LORD, I NEED YOU IN THIS

MOMENT. I NEED YOU TO RESTORE EVERYTHING

THAT'S BROKEN IN MY LIFE. AND WHAT WAS

SO BEAUTIFUL ABOUT THAT IS IT REMINDED

ME OF A BEAUTIFUL LADY IN THE NEW

TESTAMENT WHO HAD AN ISSUE OF BLOOD FOR

SO MANY YEARS, AND SHE PRESSED THROUGH A

CROWD WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE SAID, "DON'T

YOU BOTHER THE MASTER." BUT SHE RAN AND

PRESSED THROUGH THE CROWD, GRABBED THE

HEM OF HIS GARMENT, AND I WANT TO

DECLARE TO YOU THAT WAS AN AH MOMENT FOR

HER IN THAT HOUSE. BUT I'M GOING TO TELL

YOU TODAY SOMEBODY IS ABOUT TO HAVE AN

AH MOMENT IN THIS PLACE. AND I DECLARE

OVER YOU IT'S ABOUT TO BE OVER YOUR

FAMILY. IT'S ABOUT TO BE OVER YOUR

SPOUSE. IT'S ABOUT TO BE OVER YOUR MIND.

IT'S ABOUT TO BE OVER YOUR CALLING. IT'S

ABOUT TO BE OVER YOUR FUTURE. AND I

DECLARE IT'S ABOUT TO BE AN AH MOMENT

OVER THIS CHURCH. IF YOU BELIEVE IT,

I wish I could preach for longer.

But I feel like the Lord wants to

release something in this house today.

And we may dance, we may shout. Get my

musicians up here real quick. I don't

know how this is going to go, but I'm

going to tell you it went on to say that

after he said, "Alas, my master." He

said it was borrowed. I don't know what

to do about it. I can't get it back. It

is out of my reach. I cannot do it. I

feel like preaching right now in this

house. I cannot reach it. I cannot

recover it. I can't get to it. It is

beyond my grasp. It is beyond my reach.

What What was so beautiful about Elisha?

He did not condemn him and say, "HOW

DARE YOU, SON? HOW DARE YOU DO WHAT YOU

DID? HOW DARE YOU LOSE YOUR EDGE?" BUT

WHAT DID ELISHA SAY to him? He said,

"Where did it fall? Where did it fall?"

And the translation today would be this.

He said, "Take me where you lost it."

Oh, I feel the Holy Ghost in this.

Somebody in here you lost your edge, and

you thought that the enemy was going to

keep you in isolation, your enemy was

going to keep you in depression and

anxiety, but I've come to let you know

the Holy Ghost is saying THIS MORNING,

IF YOU'LL BE brave enough, then take me

where you lost it. Take me right to the

place. TAKE ME TO THE MOMENT. TAKE ME TO

THE CONVERSATION. TAKE ME TO THE MISTAKE

THAT YOU MADE. BRING ME TO THAT PLACE

AND I'M GOING TO BRING IT BACK AND I'M

GOING TO RESTORE IT BACK TO YOUR LIFE

THROUGH MY power and through my grace.

ELISHA JUST SAID, "TAKE ME WHERE YOU

LOST IT." SO, THE BIBLE SAYS THAT the

young son of the prophet took him to the

place where he lost the ax head.

And in that moment

in that moment, Elisha didn't have to

say a word.

What did Elisha do?

He did what we're all weird prophets do.

He did something weird.

Come on.

He did what all crazy prophets do. He

did something weird. Cuz you would have

thought he'd walked over and said,

"Well, it's right out there, so hey, go

swim and go get it." He didn't do that.

Elisha

did what some of us crazy people do.

Stuff that makes us just as

uncomfortable as it makes you.

Just being honest.

I've been in situations before where the

Holy Spirit said, "Do something. Do

this." And I said, "Hold up. Wait a

minute."

I need to split I need I need to explain

that one to me. Come on.

But sometimes you have to say, "It's not

what I want, but God's about to do

something incredible and God's about to

preach a lesson through what the prophet

did." Because the prophet didn't tell

him, "Get your swimming zone and go out

there and get it, young man." He said,

"No." He just stood there. He said,

"Take me where you lost it. Take me

where it fell off." He took him to the

place and the Bible says that he took

and he cut a limb. He cut a piece of the

tree off and took that tree and tossed

it out into the water. And the Bible

says that the ax head come from the very

bottom, cuz come on, iron will sink.

Come on, just like I do in water, it

floats all the way to the bottom and it

is helpless. It got down the bottom, he

threw the tree in there and it began to

rise to the top and I believe that it

even didn't just rise to the top, but I

can't I believe it came a little closer

to the land cuz I'm telling you it was

out of his reach at the beginning.

Otherwise, he would have never bothered

the prophet. He would have never said

come and help me if it all it took for

him was to stand in that same place

where he showed the prophet, reach his

hand out and grab it. Why would he

bother Elisha with anything like that?

It was completely out of his reach. So,

I started thinking prophetically in this

I said, "All right, Lord. He cut down a

piece of a tree." OH, WHAT DOES THAT

REPRESENT INSIDE OF OUR LIVES? THE LIMB

that he cut off represents the cross of

Jesus Christ.

Woo, come on somebody. AND CAN I TELL

YOU THAT IN THIS MOMENT, IN THIS TIME

THAT WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND SOMETHING SO

POWERFUL AND SO BEAUTIFUL THAT WHENEVER

THE CROSS GETS INVOLVED INSIDE OF OUR

LIVES, NOTHING IS TOO HARD OR TOO FAR

GONE WHEN THE CROSS SHOWS UP. THAT'S

WHAT ELISHA WAS LETTING HIM KNOW AND

LETTING US KNOW IN THIS ROOM. WHEN THE

CROSS GETS INVOLVED, IT DOESN'T MATTER

HOW FAR GONE YOU'VE BEEN. HE'S ABOUT TO

BRING YOU BACK TO HIMSELF. HE'S ABOUT TO

RESTORE SOME FOLK. IS THERE ANYBODY

STILL THANKFUL FOR THE CROSS AND THE

BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST THAT SAVES, HEALS,

DELIVERS, SETS FREE? COME ON. ELISHA WAS

PREACHING IN THE OLD TESTAMENT ABOUT

WHAT JESUS DID IN the New Testament.

IT'S STILL THE BLOOD. IT'S STILL THE

CROSS. IT'S STILL THE RESURRECTION POWER

OF JESUS CHRIST. 1 2 3, GIVE HIM PRAISE

IN THE HOUSE.

NOW, in an event to hurry up, I want you

to understand that if THE CROSS IS

INVOLVED, NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR OUR

GOD.

NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR OUR GOD. YOU

MIGHT BETTER TESTIFY TO YOUR NEIGHBOR

SAY, "NOTHING is too hard for our God."

Not one thing. THAT DOCTOR'S REPORT YOU

GOT LAST WEEK, throw the cross in the

middle of it.

Hello, somebody. THAT CHILD THAT'S

RUNNING AWAY FROM THE LORD, throw the

cross in the middle of it.

COME ON SOMEBODY. THAT CONVERSATION YOU

AND YOUR SPOUSE HAD WHERE THE WORD

DIVORCE CAME UP, THROW THE CROSS IN THE

MIDDLE OF IT AND WATCH WHAT GOD'S ABOUT

TO DO. YOU SAY, "PASTOR, MY MIND'S GOING

CRAZY." THROW THE CROSS RIGHT IN THE

MIDDLE OF IT AND WATCH GOD TURN THINGS

AROUND. WATCH GOD SHIFT THINGS AND WHAT

YOU LOST BEFORE, WHEN THE CROSS GETS IN,

IT'S ABOUT TO SHOW UP BACK IN YOUR LIFE

BETTER THAN WHEN IT LEFT your life.

Now,

here's what I'll tell you,

is that it didn't end there.

The Bible specifically told him

or Elisha in the Bible specifically told

him, whenever it floated to the top,

all these things were good and all these

things were great. He threw the cross in

there.

But then he said,

"Now."

He said, "Go get it."

Right? Isn't that what he said?

He told him.

He said, "Don't be relying on me, joker.

I done did all the hard work."

He said, "Pick it up for yourself."

If you are a parent in this house,

you know you said something of that

effect to your child before.

"Pick it up yourself.

Your room,

if it looks like that when I get back,

you won't be able to sit down for three

to five business days. Can I get a

amen?"

Hello, somebody.

What he was letting him know,

he said, "I'm not raising up

I'm not raising up prophets

that are dependent on a man."

Can I preach this for a second?

GOD IS NOT RAISING UP A GENERATION IN

THESE LAST DAYS THAT is dependent on a

system or a man to see the kingdom work

accomplished.

Oh, come on. I I I got about five people

with me, brother Randy, but we going to

go ahead and run religion right up out

of this place and I'm going to let you

know, if you come in here and you're

more dependent on me than you are the

God of heaven, then I have not DONE MY

JOB. I LOVE YOU. I'LL FIGHT FOR YOU, AND

I'LL GET ALONG AND I'LL LINK ARMS WITH

YOU, AND WE WILL FIGHT THE DEVIL every

step OF THE WAY. BUT, I AM NOT JESUS. I

YOURSELF. IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO PICK YOUR

IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO PICK YOUR PASSION

UP YOURSELF. IT'S TIME TO QUIT HANGING

YOUR HEAD AND SAYING, "OH, I'VE HAD A

BAD DAY." NO, YOU DO LIKE DAVID AND

ENCOURAGE YOURSELF IN THE LORD AND SAY,

"I'M GOING TO MAKE IT. I'M GOING TO" IS

THERE ANYBODY THAT WOULD SAY, "I'M GOING

TO MAKE IT TODAY. I'M GOING TO MAKE IT."

PRAISE BECAUSE WE'RE RECOVERING OUR EDGE

IN JESUS' NAME.

COME ON. 1 2 3, GIVE THE LORD A SHOUT IN

THE HOUSE.

HALLELUJAH.

Pick it up for yourself.

Now, just jump to your feet. Remain

standing with me. I'm done.

I'll quit. I'll quit. I don't got time

to finish.

But, I'll say this.

He reached out

hand

and picked

it up.

The Old Testament is very descriptive

when it comes to miracles.

And if he would have stepped in the

water and had to walk out in the water

to pick it up, I believe

that it would have been recorded in the

Bible.

Because it was very descriptive. Bible

didn't say that.

Didn't say moved. Didn't say did

anything.

All the prophet asked him to do was say,

"Take me where you lost it."

And he showed up where he lost it, and

the Bible says he reached out his hand

and he picked it up.

Why pastor did that happen?

I don't know how God does what he does

sometimes.

But I'm going to tell you this, when God

performs a miracle

you are not going to be able to put any

split explanation on that thing at all.

All you're going to look back and say I

don't know how the axe head got back to

my feet, but it showed back up in my

feet. I DON'T KNOW HOW THE DOCTOR'S

REPORT SAYS THAT IT LOOKS DIFFERENT, but

it is DIFFERENT TODAY. I DON'T KNOW WHY

MY MARRIAGE is better than it was

before. I just KNOW THAT GOD SHIFTED IT.

I DON'T KNOW WHY MY HEART DISEASE AND MY

BLOOD PRESSURE IS REGULATED. I DON'T

KNOW WHY MY DIABETES IS LEVELING OFF AND

I'M FEELING BETTER. ALL I CAN SAY IS GOD

DID THIS THING.

I cannot explain how he does what he

does, but when he does it, he does it

all the way.

He

doesn't mess around.

And when he brings a miracle to your

life,

can I tell you sometimes it's a

progressive miracle,

but sometimes

it's just like that.

And he will shift the trajectory of your

life.

So hear me in this house.

I feel like the Holy Spirit

is saying to somebody in the room

that if you want your edge back,

you've got to go back to the place you

lost it.

You say, "Pastor, you're telling me to

go back and revisit my past." No, no,

no, no, no, no, no. I'm not telling you

to to go back. I'm telling you to come

back.

There is a place.

Let me ask you this, where did you get

it to start with?

Where did you get it to start with?

Where did you begin to work in the

kingdom of God and it was powerful. You

were moving, you were doing things and

God was using you greatly. And then all

of a sudden it feels like it has all

slipped away.

Can I tell you?

It was from the house of the Lord.

Where did he lose his edge?

He wasn't out in the world.

He wasn't out partying. He wasn't out in

rebellion, but he was in the house of

God.

Check it. They were cutting down trees

to build right there where he was

standing.

He was in the territory that belonged to

the Lord, and he lost his passion. And

can I tell you today that God is calling

somebody in this house to say it's time

to pick that ax head back up and get to

work in Jesus' name.

You don't have to walk out of here

without your passion. You don't have to

walk out of here and worry whether

everything's going to work out or

whether everything's not going to work

out. No, because God's already taken

care of it.

And today I'm going to tell you

he's about to restore

your

edge.

He's about to restore your edge. He

brought you in this room with this crazy

preacher this morning

to look at you and tell you that he's

about to restore your edge.

What's so beautiful about it when he

took that that tree and dropped it in

the water?

It's the cross puts recovery in arms'

reach.

It's not my power.

It's not Assembly of God. It's not

organizations. It's not religion,

but the cross is what makes your

recovery available today.

So, all over this house, every head

bowed, every eye closed for just a

moment.

God does things that we cannot explain,

and he brings miracles to pass.

And so, I'm going to ask you in this

house if God has ever done anything for

you.

And if you're believing God, I I'm going

to say that there's going to be two

types of praises that we're fixing to

give in this house. Number one, if God

has ever done a miracle for you, I'm

going to invite you in just a moment to

raise your hands and thank God for that

miracle. But if you're in this house and

you say, "Pastor, I've been praising for

a long time, and I've been asking God to

do something significant, but I haven't

seen it happen yet.

Then I'm going to invite you to do

something crazy. I'm going to invite you

to praise God on credit before you ever

see it happen.

Come on, I'm going to invite you to do

that. So, all over this house, I'm going

to ask you right now, if you fit one of

them two categories, and I think

everybody in the house does, I'm going

to ask you to throw your hands up to the

Lord and begin to open your mouth and

praise him. Come on, I believe he's

shifting some things right now. Even in

your praise, he is shifting some stuff.

You say, "Pastor, I don't know why I'm

praising." That's all right. You keep

praising and God is about to show up in

the middle of your circumstance. Come

on, in the middle of that crisis where

you lost everything and it felt like

everything was broken and everything was

messed up and it felt like you couldn't

put one foot in front of the other, I'm

telling you the God that brought you

through that is about to bring you

through what you're going through right

now, and you're not going to come out on

the other side broken and beat up and

hurt and bruised and weak, you're going

to come out on the other side with your

edge back. I believe you're about to

come out on the other side with your

edge back, and the enemy is already

shaking in his boots right now because

this house is about to recover our edge.

This house is about to recover it in the

name of Jesus. So, God, I praise you for

the fact that right now you've made a

way before, and I'm praising you on

credit that Lord, you're about to bring

some things to pass in my life and in my

heart. And Lord, today we reach our

hands to heaven to say thank you on both

fronts. Thank you for what you have

done, but Lord, I thank you for what

you're about TO DO. I THANK YOU FOR HOW

YOU DID MOVE, BUT LORD, FOR HOW YOU'RE

ABOUT TO MOVE, I GIVE YOU PRAISE in this

house.

Lord, we worship you. God, we thank you.

We magnify you.

We glorify you.

So, in this house,

this is how I'm going to do this, and

I'm going to ask for if I can get it

100% participation because I don't want

anybody to feel like they are singled

out or called out, but I know this for a

fact, there are people in this room that

you have lost your edge. I can look at

you and tell you've lost your edge.

I can look at you. I can I can do it. If

I had to, I could point people out right

now that lost their edge.

But I'm going to tell you, God brought

me here this morning to let you know you

don't have to walk out of here with an

empty handle in your hand. You can walk

out of here with the axe head attached

to that thing, and you can go back to

work for the kingdom of God and inflict

maximum damage on the kingdom of

darkness for the glory of God.

Back him off your family. Back him off

your your situation, your business, your

church, your family, your children.

But here's the thing, you've got to be

willing to take a step of faith and say,

"Lord, if I lost it, I want it back."

But then on the other side of that, if

you're in here and you say, "I've got my

edge, but I don't want to lose it."

Today is the day that we're going to

protect it. We're going to regain it,

and we're going to protect what God has

given us. So, that should be everybody

in the house. So, I'm going to ask you

for the next 2 or 3 minutes, if you

don't mind, if you will say with pastor

today that I want the edge to be

restored, then I declare to you the call

of the Holy Spirit is, "Reach out and

pick it up at this altar." So, I'm going

to invite you, you ready? I want my

praise team to prepare theirself to lead

us in a song. But on the count of three,

I'm going to invite everybody in the

room to come for just a few moments

around this altar cuz God is about to do

something significant. Are you ready? 1

2 3, come on. Let's preserve our edge.

Let's get our edge back. Ain't nobody

got to know if you lost it or not. Come

on.
