Spiritual Things

[SPEAKER_01]: John chapter sixteen, verses twelve through fifteen, and says, I still have many things to tell you.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is Jesus' talk and says, read letters.

[SPEAKER_01]: But you can't bear them now.

[SPEAKER_01]: When the spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.

[SPEAKER_01]: For he will not speak on his own, but he will speak whatever he hears.

[SPEAKER_01]: He will also declare to you what is to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: He will glorify me because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Everything the Father has is mine.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is why I told you that he takes from what is mine and will declare it to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now let's look at first Corinthians chapter two.

[SPEAKER_01]: First Corinthians chapter two.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to read verses nine through thirteen.

[SPEAKER_01]: It says this, but as it is written,

[SPEAKER_01]: What I did not see and ear to not hear.

[SPEAKER_01]: And what never answered the human mind, God prepared this for those who love him.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the Spirit of the man that is in him.

[SPEAKER_01]: In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, we have not received the Spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God.

[SPEAKER_01]: We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.

[SPEAKER_01]: If you're taking notes this morning, the title of today's message is spiritual things.

[SPEAKER_01]: Spiritual things.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Lord.

[SPEAKER_01]: Father, we thank you, Lord, for your word this morning.

[SPEAKER_01]: We thank you, Father, for the revelation of your word.

[SPEAKER_01]: We thank you, Lord, for speaking to us today, teaching us something new.

[SPEAKER_01]: Lord, we just thank you for a fresh flame in this place.

[SPEAKER_01]: We thank you for the winds of the Holy Ghost to flow through here in the name of Jesus.

[SPEAKER_01]: Lord, we call forth on you today God and your power and your anointing.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Father, our heart's desire is more of you today.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're hungry, we're desperate for more of you, for more of your spirit today God.

[SPEAKER_01]: Lord, we just want you, Father.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so God, I pray, Lord, that you would help us God.

[SPEAKER_01]: Lord, to gain the wisdom and the insight that we need for the God, Lord, to really live out this supernatural lifestyle God that you have called us to.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that we would live supernaturally.

[SPEAKER_01]: That we would not live based on what we see.

[SPEAKER_01]: But God, we would live by the truth of your word and by the revealing and the nature of who your Holy Spirit is.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we clean hold to you today.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we thank you for more of the Holy Ghost in our lives.

[SPEAKER_01]: In the name of Jesus, everybody said, Amen, spiritual things, spiritual things.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to take these next few weeks and really teach on the Holy Ghost because

[SPEAKER_01]: Quite honestly, I believe personally, the Holy Spirit is the most neglected person of the Godhead in the body of Christ.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're really good about talking about God, and we're really great about talking about Jesus, but many folks tend to steer away and step back when it comes to the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is just as much as part of the Godhead as Jesus is.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on now.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so as much as we would teach about God and we teach about Jesus, what we should also be teaching on the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because it is the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.

[SPEAKER_01]: That is our mediator.

[SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's our Holy Spirit that works on our behalf.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And truth is the Holy Spirit, quite frankly, has become optional for many believers.

[SPEAKER_01]: Optional.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I think we treat the Holy Spirit kind of like an added ingredient on a Sunday.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not saying on a Sunday as a Sunday morning, I'm saying a Sunday like an ice cream Sunday.

[SPEAKER_01]: We treat him like the optional whipped cream and cherry.

[SPEAKER_01]: When they say, would you like the whipped cream and cherry and sometimes you're in the mood for it and you're like, yeah, give me that and sometimes you're like, I'll do without.

[SPEAKER_01]: I just want my ice cream plain today.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I have really come to discover that that's how we actually treat the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Often times is, I'm okay with him every once in a while.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm okay with him if he wants to show up and do all that, but not all the time.

[SPEAKER_01]: A little bit of Holy Spirit and I'm good that will get me by.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, let me tell you something, baby.

[SPEAKER_01]: You need the Holy Ghost every day.

[SPEAKER_01]: You need the Holy Ghost all the time.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on now.

[SPEAKER_01]: You need the Holy Ghost in a church service just as much as you need enough of the Holy Ghost to get through the workday.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hello.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.

[SPEAKER_01]: You need the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.

[SPEAKER_01]: Some places.

[SPEAKER_01]: You need the Holy Ghost just to make it through Walmart.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, these days, hello, especially if it's late at night.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you need the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, come on now.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so for us to really even kind of think up or try to kind of create this own thought and world with outside of the Holy Ghost, honestly, it's disappointing number one, but it's not worth it, number two.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we should desire the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: We should desire more of him and him speaking and him leading us in our lives.

[SPEAKER_01]: And listen, without him, let me just tell you, you're not fully alive spiritually.

[SPEAKER_01]: You're alive, but without the Holy Ghost, you're not fully alive spiritually.

[SPEAKER_01]: So how many of you let me ask you, you just want to go deeper.

[SPEAKER_01]: You just want to go deeper in the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on.

[SPEAKER_01]: You just want to go deeper in the things of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: Who am I talking today?

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because listen, I want all of him that I'm able to have.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want just a portion or half of him or whatever it may be, but if he has a hundred percent of himself to offer and give to me that I want that amen and we should all desire that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that includes the power of the Holy Ghost in full operation in our daily lives.

[SPEAKER_01]: In full operation as we gather here in this place.

[SPEAKER_01]: There are a lot of people that are sitting and churches experiencing the Christian life and enjoying a little bit of Jesus once a week and enjoying the occasional blessing of God but are missing out on the supernatural spiritual things.

[SPEAKER_01]: that only the Holy Spirit can provide.

[SPEAKER_01]: We just read the scripture.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it said the spiritual things are guess what, who are they for?

[SPEAKER_01]: The spiritual people.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you really can't be a spiritual person if you don't got the one that is the very spirit of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so if we want the spiritual things, we got to be fully invested, fully intertwined with the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost work in operation in our lives.

[SPEAKER_01]: Amen.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I want to lay a foundation for you today and teach you a few principles about the Holy Spirit based on the scriptures that we just read.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to build upon this and upcoming weeks, however long the Holy Spirit would have us here, talking on this subject.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I do want to take this opportunity because I believe it's important.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, I'm also, I'm not just, you know, I don't ever just preach a message just because I think you need a message.

[SPEAKER_01]: I preach based on what the Holy Spirit leads me to preach.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I know that if the Holy Spirit is leading me to do this, I know you need it, but guess what, I know I need it.

[SPEAKER_01]: I need it too.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not just for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not better than anybody, okay?

[SPEAKER_01]: I need it just as much as you do.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so there's a few things that I want to teach you this morning.

[SPEAKER_01]: A few principles about the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: If you're taking notes, which I hope you are, I want you to.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are three ways that the Holy Spirit operates within us.

[SPEAKER_01]: Three ways the Holy Spirit operates in us.

[SPEAKER_01]: And number one, based off the scripture that we just read is that he guides us into all truth.

[SPEAKER_01]: He guides us into all truth.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's what it said in John chapter sixteen verse thirteen he says he will guide you into all the truth so in John chapter sixteen Jesus he tells his disciples that he's he's gonna die and he tells him that there are other things that I want to tell you right now, but you can't quite handle it yet

[SPEAKER_01]: That's where we started out in verse twelve.

[SPEAKER_01]: I want to tell you some stuff, but you're really not quite ready for it yet.

[SPEAKER_01]: But he says this though, he follows it up by saying, but the spirit is coming.

[SPEAKER_01]: I want to tell you some things, but you're not quite ready yet, but what I do want to tell you is that the Spirit is coming.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, if that's all he told me right there in that moment, that would have been more than enough.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know you got other stuff to tell me that you know that I'm not quite ready for yet, but if you tell me that the Holy Ghost is coming, I'm going to get excited.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because the first thing that he says when the Spirit is coming, he says, guess what?

[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to guide you into all truth.

[SPEAKER_01]: up to that point and like, well, did we even know truth?

[SPEAKER_01]: The disciples like, wait, I thought, what you taught us, why is truth?

[SPEAKER_01]: He says, yes, but you're going to be guided into all truth.

[SPEAKER_01]: Every bit, Jesus says when the Spirit comes, He will guide you into all truth, He will speak what I tell Him to speak and He will show you things that are to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: So there is a place in God that

[SPEAKER_01]: Paul called later on in First Corinthians that we read in chapter two, deep things of God, the depths of God, that we can discover as we're guided in lead by the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that word deep there that we read in the Greek is actually the word Bethos, which means the deepest of depths.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's how that word Beth is in there, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's the waters of the Lord.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he takes us into the absolute deepest of depths that you can go.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he says, you're going to go into the deepest of depths, the deep things of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So watch this, listen to this revelation, according to first Corinthians chapter two, the Spirit of God,

[SPEAKER_01]: went into the deep of God, the deepest of depths of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he discovered everything there was for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he comes back to you and then as kind of like a tour guide, he takes you into those deep things that are intended just for your life.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now, that's all the Holy Spirit did for me.

[SPEAKER_01]: Once again, that would be enough to guide me and to take me into all truth, all of the truth that God has for me.

[SPEAKER_01]: So when it comes to the Holy Spirit guiding you, I like to say that it's kind of like a fishing tour guide.

[SPEAKER_01]: someone that guides you into the right location to find the right fish, because listen, living without the Holy Spirit in your life is like going fishing and not having a fishing pole.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's going out on a boat and saying, somehow, some way I guess I'm going to get fish and not having a fishing pole or the right fishing tools or resources and necessities that you may need to catch fish.

[SPEAKER_01]: A few years ago, we took our summer vacation to Pensacola.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Gabriel, at the time, was all into fishing.

[SPEAKER_01]: And now that circle back around, and he's back into it again, last couple of weeks, begging to go fishing again.

[SPEAKER_01]: And anyway, so he was all into fishing, and he was begging us, like, you know, I want to catch a big fish in Florida.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're like, okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so we look at all these guided tours, fishing guided tours, and I'm telling you, man, costly.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, way up there in price.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we're like, buddy, I just, with the trip of, you know, the cost of this trip and the hotel and all that kind of stuff, I just don't think we're going to be able to do it and he kept begging and begging and he wanted to catch a big grouper and he wanted to do this and wanted to do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he's watching YouTube videos of these guys catching all these big fish and Florida and he's like, I want to do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's, I want that to be me.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we get there in Florida and we call a few places just kind of hoping for kind of a

[SPEAKER_01]: last minute deal, you know, a break on the price or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I call this one guy and I said, you know, I told him, you know, we can't really afford what everybody's advertising.

[SPEAKER_01]: And quite frankly, we can't afford what you're advertising.

[SPEAKER_01]: But we just wanted to see by any chance if you could just take my son, even if it's for a shortened amount of time.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he was like, well, how much can you afford?

[SPEAKER_01]: And so I gave him the number, whatever it was at the time.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, oh, I cannot do anything like that.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's no way, I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_01]: said, but I do know a guy.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's a friend of mine that would probably do it for that price.

[SPEAKER_01]: That said, shoot, give me his number, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: So, gave me his number, I called him up, his name was Pasco.

[SPEAKER_01]: The perfect, I mean, it's like the perfect name for a good old fisherman on Pasco.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like we were living in a movie or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now granted, listen, all of these guided tours are on these big fancy yacht boats and big this and that and have all this equipment and all this kind of thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I called Pasco and he said, yeah, I can do it for your boy for that price.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, OK, great.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we make the drive and it was a long drive, really.

[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't a short drive.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I began to realize we're going further and further away from the ocean.

[SPEAKER_01]: What is going on?

[SPEAKER_01]: And we go back into what I feel like is just the backwards of Florida.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, into the swamp country or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we go way back in there and we pull up to this place and it's like a wooden shack.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I look in this little river that connects to a larger body of water that you can see at a distance.

[SPEAKER_01]: But it's this little river that it looks nothing like the ocean that we were just at.

[SPEAKER_01]: Clear, you can see the sand at the bottom, but this is black water.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you can't see nothing in algae everywhere and all that kind of stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we're like, OK, here we are.

[SPEAKER_01]: And look over at the boat.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just a little old thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it looks like it's been a boat for a long time, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: And it's been through a lot.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's been through many storms.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we get to meet Pasco, and he's exactly like you could probably imagine in your mind right now.

[SPEAKER_01]: Good old, just Florida Country guy that just loves to fish.

[SPEAKER_01]: He meets us and he takes us out there.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I think to myself, I hope he's not taking us out to kill us.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, this is kind of it right here.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, let's throw us overboard or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're the fish.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's like something's going to happen here.

[SPEAKER_01]: And anyways, we go out and

[SPEAKER_01]: He takes us to not the nicest area, and they can okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then just out of our luck, it just starts pouring rain.

[SPEAKER_01]: And this boat don't have no covering over it, ain't nice.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a piece of white something with the motor attached to the back of it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so he sets up the fishing poles and all that.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the fishing poles look like they were

[SPEAKER_01]: from the twenties or something.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, and I'm like, thinking, oh, God, what do we get into?

[SPEAKER_01]: Gable's gonna get disappointed and all this stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so, anyways, he puts it all together and he teaches the kids and they start throwing it out and Pascal starts bringing in some little guys.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, okay, like, that's not the big thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that's not the Gabriel wanted the big grouper, you know?

[SPEAKER_01]: And we're catching these little ones.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he says, OK, we're going to catch all these little ones.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then I'm going to take you to the next spot.

[SPEAKER_01]: All right.

[SPEAKER_01]: So they catch a handful of them.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we get back in, start going.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we go to this next area.

[SPEAKER_01]: And wasn't the nicest area either.

[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't clear waters and all that kind of stuff, too.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm thinking there are no telling what's under these waters and all this kind of stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: And now he says, OK, now we're going to use those fish that we caught in that last spot to catch these fish.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I think I understand what's going on, I think.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know much about fishing, but I think.

[SPEAKER_01]: So he puts those little fish through the things and they're throwing them out there and all of a sudden now we went from this kind of fish.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now we're catching this size fish.

[SPEAKER_01]: I said, okay, I see what you're doing, Pascal.

[SPEAKER_01]: You tried to trick me and we catch bigger ones and we go onto the next spot and we go onto the next spot.

[SPEAKER_01]: And our last spot is up there.

[SPEAKER_01]: close to the ocean.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we're in much prettier waters.

[SPEAKER_01]: And there's fish jumping out of the water.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it's beautiful and all this stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so they're throwing it out there and catching different things and all that kind of stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Gabriel never got his big group or that he wanted.

[SPEAKER_01]: But they caught some big fish.

[SPEAKER_01]: Gabriel was quite disappointed, actually, because his little sister caught the biggest fish of the day.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't even know how I did that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so what I come to find out is, you know, I couldn't judge Pasco by his appearance.

[SPEAKER_01]: I couldn't judge the boat by the way, the boat looked or the equipment or whatever it may be.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I came to the realization that when someone knows what they're doing, you're going to get the results that you want.

[SPEAKER_01]: It may not look the same way that you thought it was going to look.

[SPEAKER_01]: But at the end of the day, he was still a fisherman.

[SPEAKER_01]: He still had a boat, and he still had the right equipment.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we went home with some big old fish.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so what I've come to discover is that the Holy Spirit is kind of like a fishing tour guide.

[SPEAKER_01]: You might not understand it when you first get on the boat.

[SPEAKER_01]: But after a while, you're going to realize that he knows what he's doing.

[SPEAKER_01]: It may be small amounts at first, but listen if you'll just hold on, if you'll just be patient, if you'll just trust the voice of the Holy Ghost, you will catch some bigger fish, glory to God.

[SPEAKER_01]: So living a supernatural lifestyle requires the right equipment.

[SPEAKER_01]: So let me ask you today, do you have the right equipment?

[SPEAKER_01]: Are you fully engaged with the spiritual things that you need?

[SPEAKER_01]: Think about this for a moment.

[SPEAKER_01]: There is more hidden in God than what has already been revealed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Many things have been revealed to you already, but guess what?

[SPEAKER_01]: There are more things that have yet to be revealed that have been revealed.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that comes through the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: The Bible says that forever and ever the angels are around the throne.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're circling around the throne and they're declaring holy, holy, holy, over and over again.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, why is that?

[SPEAKER_01]: Because every time that the angels make another rotation around the throne, there's a new side of God that they get to discover that they haven't seen yet.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's a new revelation that is caught as the angels are circling around the throne that they hadn't gotten up to that point, but a new revelation is found.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so if there is more to be discovered about God, and if he sends the power of his Holy Spirit to take you into the depths of God, I don't know about you, but I've got to have the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: I've got to have him because I want to go into the deepest of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: I want to go into the depths of him where I'm discovering new things about him, where I'm seeing all of these things and learning all of these things that I've never learned before.

[SPEAKER_01]: So I've got to have the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm grateful that the Holy Ghost is like our tour guide who is gonna guide us and lead us into all truths.

[SPEAKER_01]: The second thing that he does based on John chapter sixteen when we read on through the rest of verse thirteen is that he says that he will speak what he hears.

[SPEAKER_01]: He speaks what he hears.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now this natural body that you and I have doesn't have the capability to receive communication from God.

[SPEAKER_01]: It only comes by the Holy Spirit because you can't really hear Him with your natural ears.

[SPEAKER_01]: You got to hear Him with your spiritual ears.

[SPEAKER_01]: The voice of God, the God will speak to you, he'll lead you, he'll guide you, he'll teach you and all that.

[SPEAKER_01]: But it comes through spiritual ear, spiritual learning, spiritual listening.

[SPEAKER_01]: So if you wanna locate the place within you that you can hear the spirit of God, you gotta look past your natural body.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you gotta tap into the spiritual part of your being.

[SPEAKER_01]: Remember the Bible teaches us that Elijah heard

[SPEAKER_01]: the sound of the abundance of rain.

[SPEAKER_01]: He heard it first, but there were no clouds in sight.

[SPEAKER_01]: How can you declare rain is coming when there are no natural clouds in the sky?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you operate not on what you see in the natural, but by what you hear in the spirit on the inside.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: You see, sometimes before God shows you a thing, He speaks the thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: Before God reveals it to you, he'll speak it to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he'll use somebody else to speak it to you into your life, who's being led by the Spirit of God.

[SPEAKER_01]: So hear me today, this is why your spiritual ears must be turned on and must be listening at all times.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because the Holy Spirit is speaking what God the Father is actually saying.

[SPEAKER_01]: You want to know what God is saying about you?

[SPEAKER_01]: Listen to the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: You want to know what God is telling you about your next step, your next season, what's coming, then you better listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because the Spirit speaks what God is saying.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about you, but I can't miss what God has to say to me.

[SPEAKER_01]: If it's in the form of a still small voice or whatever it may be, I cannot afford to miss at all one word that God says to me.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I believe that the Holy Ghost is speaking to you right now, this very moment.

[SPEAKER_01]: We started to see that in pre-service prayer this morning.

[SPEAKER_01]: How the Holy Spirit is started moving.

[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden we started, we just took a moment to just be silent.

[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden the Spirit of God just began to speak.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we saw it.

[SPEAKER_01]: We heard it.

[SPEAKER_01]: The power God began to unfold in this room.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I believe that the Spirit of God is wanting to speak to you even right now.

[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, this is very second.

[SPEAKER_01]: Glory to God.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there's something that the Father is trying to whisper to you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Can you listen to it?

[SPEAKER_01]: Can you hear from Him today?

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's a new revelation.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's a clarity of vision.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's just a deeper understanding

[SPEAKER_01]: of something or where he's guiding you in your life.

[SPEAKER_01]: But can you just stop for just a moment?

[SPEAKER_01]: This is part of living a supernatural lifestyle.

[SPEAKER_01]: Can you stop for a moment, yes, in a church service?

[SPEAKER_01]: But can you stop for a moment in the middle of your work day and just listen to the voice of the Holy Ghost?

[SPEAKER_01]: Can you stop for just a moment as you're pushing the grocery cart down the aisle and you just stop and you just listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit for a minute because maybe somebody at the other end of the aisle needs what you got.

[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're not attentive to what the Holy Spirit is trying to speak, you might miss that opportunity.

[SPEAKER_01]: So do we have the capability, do we have the strength or whatever may be to be able to stop in a moment when the Holy Spirit is speaking and say, I will listen to you Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is in those moments that when we're listening that he speaks utterances of heaven over you.

[SPEAKER_01]: These aren't just cute little things to get you all railed up.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are utterances of heaven.

[SPEAKER_01]: This is coming directly from God, the Father, and the throne room of heaven, and He's trying to speak to you through the power of His Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: So if we miss out on that opportunity, we're really missing on a lot.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if you want to know what's going on in heaven, I mean, you got to listen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because heaven has a lot to say about you.

[SPEAKER_01]: It really does.

[SPEAKER_01]: Heaven has a lot to say about you and your situation.

[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of things and different atmospheres and environments that you walk into.

[SPEAKER_01]: Heaven has a lot to say.

[SPEAKER_01]: So can we listen?

[SPEAKER_01]: So number one, he guides us into all truth.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's that guide, that two are guide.

[SPEAKER_01]: The second thing is that he speaks what he hears, whatever God's speaking, the Holy Spirit begins to speak.

[SPEAKER_01]: And number three is that the Bible says,

[SPEAKER_01]: And John chapter sixteen at the tail end of verse thirteen that he will declare to you what is to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: So he declares what is to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: He declares what is to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now when it says in John sixteen thirteen that he declares what is to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: That is the Greek word and in jello and in jello.

[SPEAKER_01]: which means to make an announcement, if you put it on the screen for us.

[SPEAKER_01]: It means to make an announcement, kind of like a declaration, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's an announcement that's being made in the Greek there.

[SPEAKER_01]: So when he says that he declares to you what is to come, he's making an announcement for what is to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now that's exciting.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of times we think that the only way that God speaks to us is through a quiet voice.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's not the only way he'll speak.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes he wants to announce some things in your life.

[SPEAKER_01]: Come on now.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes he wants to boldly declare and make an announcement on your behalf.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Aren't you glad that God doesn't hide what he has for you?

[SPEAKER_01]: But he will declare it.

[SPEAKER_01]: He will announce it to you, praise God.

[SPEAKER_01]: You know, God has just as excited about what's to come for your life as you are.

[SPEAKER_01]: And as a matter of fact, he's so excited for what he has for you that he wants to make it an announcement.

[SPEAKER_01]: He says, I will declare what is to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: I will make an announcement for you just for you that you're going to hear, come on from me of something that's to come for your life, Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's a prophetic declaration over your life.

[SPEAKER_01]: A prophetic declaration over your life.

[SPEAKER_01]: And listen, if that's not enough,

[SPEAKER_01]: to want the Holy Spirit fully a part of your life and fully invests in what the Holy Spirit is doing.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what is.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because I want to know what's to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now he's not going to reveal all of it.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to come in different layers.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to come through time and all that different thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: He got operates in his own ways.

[SPEAKER_01]: Bible says his ways are not our ways.

[SPEAKER_01]: We got to understand that.

[SPEAKER_01]: But he is still going to declare it over us.

[SPEAKER_01]: So when he says all throughout the word, things like you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, you need to know that that is a declaration and announcement that he's made about you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah!

[SPEAKER_01]: He's made an announcement about you that you are the head and not the tail.

[SPEAKER_01]: He made an announcement about you, Eric, that you are above and you are not beneath.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are prophetic declarations, announcements that have been made on your behalf.

[SPEAKER_01]: And there are so much more that he has yet to say about you.

[SPEAKER_01]: But it comes by the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So since this is a prophetic declaration over your life, let me tell you how he'll do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, first of all, he does it by the Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: It comes by the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: Secondly, it typically comes through various forms that the Spirit will declare these things, that these prophetic declarations, these prophetic announcements will come.

[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe it's in the form of a dream.

[SPEAKER_01]: There'll be a prophetic declaration that's made in the form of a dream.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it will be a vision that he gives you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe sometimes not just a vision but an open vision.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's like vision times ten, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like you just stand there and he takes you into this open vision.

[SPEAKER_01]: Powerful.

[SPEAKER_01]: Powerful stuff.

[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe it's just a Holy Spirit encounter.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe it's just an encounter with God, where you're worshiping or something in all of a sudden, there's just this encounter that takes place in the Holy Spirit, just overwhelms you.

[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden things just start sort of flying all around you and all of a sudden you find yourself receiving and listening and learning something from the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe lastly, it's kind of in a public encounter where the Holy Spirit is moving much like a church service, a time of worship where we gather all together or whatever it may be.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the Spirit of God begins to move and all of a sudden through our public

[SPEAKER_01]: form of worship and through our joining together and faith in linking arms together in the spiritual realm, all of a sudden, the Holy Spirit starts unlocking things that are discovered to you right here in the room.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe the person next to is not getting it, but maybe it's just for you, but it was unlocked by this public atmosphere of worship and declaration to the Lord and going after the heart of the Father.

[SPEAKER_01]: So there's many ways that this can come.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now it's important to understand that these things that the Father has already done, he's already pre-established and heaven about you in your future.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are things that are pre-established.

[SPEAKER_01]: Now something that God's just making up on the spot.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I forgot about him today.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hold on, let me say something.

[SPEAKER_01]: No.

[SPEAKER_01]: These are things that are pre-established and heaven.

[SPEAKER_01]: On earth as it is in heaven, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: And so what we're doing is we're just really tapping into the supernatural.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're tapping into what heaven is doing.

[SPEAKER_01]: What's heaven's agenda?

[SPEAKER_01]: What's heaven's goal for my life right now?

[SPEAKER_01]: What is heaven trying to speak?

[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, we start living this supernatural lifestyle.

[SPEAKER_01]: We start being led by the Holy Spirit.

[SPEAKER_01]: And he begins to guide us into all truth.

[SPEAKER_01]: He begins to speak what he hears.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then he begins to declare what is to come.

[SPEAKER_01]: And all of a sudden, we find ourselves walking in the purpose that he has for us.

[SPEAKER_01]: You wanna know what your purpose is in life?

[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of people say, I don't know what my purpose is.

[SPEAKER_01]: You will find your purpose if you just come and sink with the Holy Ghost.

[SPEAKER_01]: Because he is going to make these prophetic announcements over your life.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.

[SPEAKER_01]: And when you come and sink with the Holy Spirit, that's when these things are pulled down.

[SPEAKER_01]: Pull these things down and we take it by faith.

[SPEAKER_01]: Amen.
