[SPEAKER_01]: Acts chapter 2, verses 1 through 4, and then we're going to skip down and re-verses 12 through 21.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a little bit of scripture here, just follow along.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Acts chapter 2, verses 1 through 4, it says, when the day of Pinnacos had arrived, they were all together in one place, suddenly a sound, like a violent rushing wind came from heaven and it filled the whole house where they were staying.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: and tongs like flames of fire that were divided appear to them and that rest in on each one of them.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Then they were all filled.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody say all filled.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Notice how scripture tells us that wasn't just some of them that were filled, but each and every one of them that were present in that room were all filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on somebody and so they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different languages as the Spirit gave them the ability for speech.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now jump down to verse 12.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Then they were all astounded and perplexed, saying to one another, what could this be?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I mean, they heard this loud sound, and all of a sudden there's tongues like flames of fire upon people's head and like, what the heck is going on up in this place, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So they were all astounded and perplexed, saying to one another, what could this be?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And some sneered and said they're full of new wine.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In other words, they're drunk.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They're just drunk.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But Peter stood up with the 11 raised his voice and proclaimed to them, men of Judah, and all your residents of Jerusalem.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me explain this to you and pay attention to my words.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: For these people are not drunk, as you suppose.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Since it's only nine o'clock in the morning.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In other words, it's in the morning.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They haven't even had a drink yet.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: All right, they're not drunk.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: On the contrary, this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel, and it will be in the last day says God that I will pour out my spirit on all humanity.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There it is all again, not some of us, but all of us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions in your old men, will dream dreams.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I will even pour out my spirit on the male and female slaves in those days and they will prophesy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at this in verse 19, I will display my wonders in the heavens above in signs on the earth below, blood and fire and a cloud of smoke.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The sun will be turned to darkness in the moon to blood before the great and remarkable day of the Lord comes.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're taking notes this morning, the title of today's message is the course, the source and the force.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah!
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I should have got a big amen.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah, thank you, Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So let's pray Father, we thank You, Lord.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We thank You for Your Word.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We thank You, Jesus, for the power of Your Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We thank You that the Holy Spirit is the one that works on the behalf of You, Father, that works on the behalf of all of heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He is the go between, he is the intercessor, he is the comforter, he's the counselor, he's the helper, he's the one that empowers us and helps us and gives us the capabilities to be empowered and walk a spirit-filled life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We thank you for your precious spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And today we receive your word and we're thankful for your word, we're thankful for the God that or that your word changes us, transforms us,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're thankful that we're not who we used to be.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're not who we used to be.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But we are on the other side of all of life's chaos and junk in the wickedness and the evil that we used to be in and the evil that we used to partake in and lower we are on the other side because you made away.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And you sent your precious Holy Spirit to help us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we're so thankful.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And Jesus name everybody said, amen.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So I want to begin by telling you that the Holy Spirit is not on his own agenda, okay?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But he is on God's agenda.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So many times I believe that we get into this thing of like the Holy Spirit starts moving and we're like, is that God?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so we almost separate the two.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Holy Spirit and God into two different things.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, would God allow the Holy Spirit to do what he's doing right now?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And listen, the Holy Spirit is not out on his own agenda.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit does exactly what the Father speaks.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And exactly what the Father says.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is not doing what He pleases, but remember a church that we serve a Triune God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He is all Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Holy Spirit does what the Bible says as the Father pleases.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So the Father approves of the work of His Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: However, the Holy Spirit is moving, whatever the Holy Spirit is doing, however, the Holy Spirit is speaking, it is approved.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is already an approval in heaven by Father God for the work of His precious Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so anytime the Holy Spirit begins to move in your life for the Holy Spirit comes upon you in a fresh way or leads you to do something that's beyond you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's God the Father that is saying yes to the Holy Spirit's work in your life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When the Holy Spirit comes upon you like last Sunday, and in the Holy Spirit shows up, and begins to move in this place, that is God saying, yes, to the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's not the Holy Spirit saying, well, hold on one second, God, let me go do something.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, they're three and one.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's the Father saying, yes, I release my Spirit into that atmosphere right now to do this work, to touch this person, to show up in this way, to move in this way, and the Holy Spirit does,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so hear me, the Holy Spirit always brings glory to God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Always, anything that the Holy Spirit does, brings glory to the Father.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It shows the glory and the magnificent power of the creator of the universe, the God of heaven and earth.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When the Holy Spirit begins to move, it shows and displays the wonder of Father God in heaven.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Amen?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so the Holy Spirit coming upon you and being activated in your life is not just so that you can have Holy Ghost goosebumps on a Sunday morning, okay?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But the baptism in the Holy Spirit and being filled with the power of the Holy Ghost is an enabling power and it is an enabling power of God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He freely is releasing his power for us to operate in and allow his power to come upon our lives.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so I'm grateful that that God himself says yes to the work of the Holy Spirit because without him saying yes to the work of the Holy Spirit, we are powerless.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So we might as well be defeated, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But no, he says, I'm not going to allow you to be defeated.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to allow you to be destroyed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to allow you to be destroyed or whatever it may be.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I am sending my spirit to empower you until it enable you to walk through every situation and to be empowered from on high knowing that you have the strength, the power, the authority, the ability
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody say, I'm in.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: How can you evangelize to a dark and dying world without the power of the living God leading you empowering you to reach and to teach and to save to heal of the liver, to decept free?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's why we need the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we need the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You may say, well, I can evangelize without the Holy Ghost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you could try, and it might work, but you need the power of the Holy Ghost to help you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You need the power of the Holy Spirit to give you words of knowledge when you're praying over somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You need the power of the Holy Spirit that give you the strength and the capability to, to, in the spiritual realm overcome anything that is present in that atmosphere.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because there is darkness all around.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I need the power of the Holy Ghost to help me in the midst of darkness.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody, I need the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Greater is he who is in me, come on, then he who is in the world.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, let me have forgotten that little scripture there.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want to say it one more time, because you ought to get real excited about that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Greater is he who is in me, then he who is in this world.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In other words, greater is the work in the power of the living God and the work of his Holy Spirit in my life, then the darkness that is consuming the world around me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to help you to begin to understand who the Holy Spirit is, and what the Holy Spirit is really all about.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And now today, I want to...
-
[SPEAKER_01]: kind of take you a little bit deeper and teach you about the importance of having the Holy Spirit as a part of your life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And specifically as a part of our lives in the area of us being believers, like as a believer, we need the Holy Spirit, okay?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because that's so important.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'll briefly share this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Last night, we got a text message from our neighbor, and she reached out to Melissa and she said, can you guys, can we bring my nephew, he's dealing with a lot right now, suicidal thoughts, all this kind of stuff, I didn't know the kid, and he showed up to our house, and he's trying to take his life, and so on and so forth, can we bring him over there and to pray for you?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it was late at night and we were getting ready to put the kids to bed and all that kind of stuff.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: She said, you know, Melissa, can I send Austin over there and she said, yes, so I go over there, and and this kid's going through a lot, 17 years old, 17 years old, and it's just going through just hell, and has stumbled into drugs.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: has stumbled into alcohol every day he's he's using and he's partaking in these things and it's becoming a lifestyle for him and he feels trapped and he's in a tough situation with a relationship that he's in and it's just this whole thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's a big mess and you can see the hurt on this kid and you can see the, just that he's, he's suffering on the inside.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said how do you, how are you feeling?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Like tell me what is going on in your life right now and he said, I feel like my heart is like ripped apart and I can't put it back together.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He said it's like in a million pieces because of everything that I've done and everything that I've been through and my childhood and this and that and I said I said listen buddy, the beautiful thing about this is that you don't have to try to put your heart back together.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is one who will put your heart back together.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is a God in heaven who loves you and cares about you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I've spent over an hour, almost two hours sitting there, face to face with him.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And just sharing about Jesus, telling him about the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Here's hearing it for the first time.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't know about this walk with Jesus and what Jesus can do in his life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I tell him all about the Lord and I tell him about my personal story and just all of these kind of things.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, so really the balls in your court, if you want to get on the other side of all of this stuff that you're going through.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And all this junk that you're dealing with right now, you need God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I can't do it for you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I can't help you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I can encourage you, but I can't help you in what you need help with right now without the God in your life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I want God right now, and I said, okay, I said, it's really easy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I just want you to pray and repeat after me, so I've never done that before.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, it don't matter.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, all you're gonna do is just pray a prayer and it's gonna be real simple.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want you to worry about it, it's real simple, but I want you to mean it, I want you to close your eyes and I want you to picture Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want you to literally just, like almost pretend and act like you're having a complete conversation with him and him alone by the words that you're repeating.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he repeats the sinners prayer with me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he gives his life to Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he goes like this, and he was like, oh, and I said, what?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, I don't know.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like different.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, that's the piece of God coming over you right now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I laid my hand on him, and I rebuked every foul spirit of darkness.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: every spirit of depression, anxiety, worry, all of the hurt that he is going through right now and I begin to lay my hands on him and the power of the Holy Spirit came upon him and that kid got wrecked last night at 17 years old and he said I said but I don't know when I get in the car, I've got drugs in the car, I said we're going to go out to the car right now, you're going to give it to me and we're going to get rid of it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he goes, oh, that's a big deal.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, yeah, it is.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But now that you're walking a new life with Jesus, you can't have that stuff anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And the Holy Spirit will convict you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And you don't want that in your life no more.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we go out to his car, he gets it, he gets his stuff, and he hands it to us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And my neighbor threw it away in the trash, he destroyed it right there in front of him.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I just encouraged the young man, I said, your life is gonna be completely different from this moment forward.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a wonderful story, I'm glad he gave his life to the Lord, but can I tell you, I would have not been able to have that conversation with him if I didn't have the Holy Ghost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I needed the Holy Spirit's enabling and power and knowledge to help this young man.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we need that in our lives.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We got to have the Holy Spirit, a part of our daily lives as a believer, amen.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We need it to help get people saved.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We need the Holy Spirit to help heal people and set people free and all that kind of stuff.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I cannot go and encounter a young person who is strong out on drugs and dealing with all kinds of chaos and trouble in his life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If I don't have the power of the Holy Spirit to help him,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why we need the Holy Ghost Church.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't understand the believer that would say, I don't need the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That is a very dangerous thing to say as a believer, because what you're saying is, I don't need God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He is Father's Son and Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is no separation of the three.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We need the work of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We need the power of the Holy Ghost in our lives, amen.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so how many of you know that on this journey with Jesus and living this supernatural lifestyle, we need to know our course.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We need to know what the source is
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's not the Star Wars Force, all right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That is the force of the Holy Spirit in our lives, amen.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so there's three things that I want to give you today if you're taking notes.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Three truths of, to being a part of the Holy Spirit and allowing the Holy Spirit's work in our lives, three truths of the Holy Spirit today.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The first one is this, we'll put it on the screen, is that the Holy Spirit is part of your course.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is part of your course.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You are on this course, you are on this journey with Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He saved you, and he didn't just save you for you to figure everything else out now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't save you and then walk away and say, okay, it's on you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You got it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No, you're now on a journey.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You're now on a course.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the Holy Spirit that is part of that course.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to help you down the road.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to help you on that journey.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so we need to understand
-
[SPEAKER_01]: that spirit baptism is part of the course of Christianity.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the way, it's the route, it's the plan for us as believers.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It is the will of God for saved people to be immersed in the Spirit of God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It is the will of God, it is the will of God for people, for believers, to be immersed in the Spirit of God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: but not for us to just be immersed in the Spirit, but to be empowered from on high with the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So it's one thing to be baptized in the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's another thing to live that out now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So when we get baptized in the Holy Spirit now, it's not just one immersion where we can immerse in the Holy Spirit now, it's a lifestyle that we begin to live and we live empowered.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I'm reminded of the scripture that we read last week in Acts chapter 19 verse two.
Acts 19 chapter mention
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When Paul said, did you receive the Holy Spirit?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And do you remember what the disciples reply was?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They said, no, we haven't heard that there's a Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Wait a second, you're saying you haven't heard that there's a Holy Spirit when Jesus
-
[SPEAKER_01]: many times and it was prophesied even in the Old Testament that there would be one that was coming after the Father, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The precious Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And you're telling me that you have never heard or you don't even recall when Jesus talked about the one that is coming after Him, you don't even remember about the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The disciples said, no, we haven't even heard that
-
[SPEAKER_01]: did believers, the cycles of Jesus, not know about the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll tell you why.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like some churches today.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We have allowed the Spirit of religion to prevail versus the very spirit of the living God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We have accepted the spirit of religion and religion would say, the Spirit of religion would say, the Holy Spirit was only four of the Bible times.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is only for this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is only for that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Putting all these kind of rules and all these kind of boundaries on the Holy Spirit, that are false theology.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a spirit of religion that is trying to prohibit the work of the Spirit of God from moving.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're much happier with what religion says that we should do or not do or much happier with what religion says is truth or not truth.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we have bought into deception that the Holy Spirit was a thing of the past or the Holy Spirit is only for certain people and blah, blah, blah, blah and hear me this morning church.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If we allow the spirit of religion to be louder than the voice of the Holy Spirit, we will always be in a constant state
-
[SPEAKER_01]: talking about a church as a whole, the wide church, God's church, and if we allow the Spirit of religion to be louder than the voice of the Holy Spirit, we will always be in a constant state or survival.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And God didn't create us to survive.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God created us to thrive.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We thrive as believers of Jesus, same in.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the Holy Spirit that wants to be the loudest voice and should be the loudest voice.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So we need to rise up in this hour, and we need to fight harder than we've ever fought before, but we need the Holy Spirit and his power to do so.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I want you to know this morning that when God birthed the church,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He knew that we would have bad days.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He knew that there would be difficulties that we would have to face.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But the Bible says he made us a victorious bride.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: A victorious bride.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: A victorious bride.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me tell you, it's not a beat down bride.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hello.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: A victorious bride is not a broken-down bride.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: A victorious bride is not a messed-up bride of Christ.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When God birthed the church, He created us to come on top of whatever we may ever face.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And He created us to be a victorious bride that no matter what we go through, no matter what we deal with, no matter what we face in life, personally or as a church, that we were created to come on top of all of it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We were never created to live defeated.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't live a defeated life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We live a spirit-filled life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And a spirit-filled life is a life of victory.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We have the victory in every situation because my Bible says in Psalms 34 and 19, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of all.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That means God doesn't deliver you out of some situations.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No, He delivers you out of every situation.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He delivers you out of every single situation.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter what it is, how big or how small it is, the Lord that deliver us out of them all.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because we are the righteousness of Christ Jesus.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We have been righteous.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We have been made righteous in his sight.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And if we are His righteousness, the righteous, come on, who live by faith, come on.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We cannot be destroyed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We cannot be taken out.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm grateful for the power of the Holy Spirit and what God can do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm grateful that we can rise on top of anything that comes our way.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have to deal with the junk of this world.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have to deal with the attacks of the enemy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We can stand firm in a place of total victory.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm reminded of Terry and Nicole.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They've been going through a situation with their air conditioning.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they're air went out in their house.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And man, you all know, over 100 degrees outside is terrible.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, a couple summers ago, that happened to us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And man, we were drenched in that house every day for a while before we got our air fixed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's expensive.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so anyway, so they're air went out and they stayed a couple days with us a few weeks back and the one of the situations that was causing the problem we ended up getting fixed and the Lord came through and all that and the guy said though he's like, hey, you know, this is old unit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So this may be a fix for.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: two weeks, two months, two years, you know, who knows, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And there's just a matter of, like, it is a couple days, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, two or three days, and all of a sudden, stop working again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: After thousands of dollars of repair,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: just to get it, you know, to the place that it was.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, so then they lost their air again, and like man, Lord, you're going to have to come through for them, you know, and they're believing in their standing by faith that God was going to do a miracle and there be half, and all that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so anyway, so last week, I guess it was, I got a hold of the friend of mine who fixed our air conditioning when that happened with us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I told them their situation and I said, you know, they're in desperate need because without putting all of their information out there, you know, being in that heat for several days, it did a toll on brother Terry handed up in the emergency room and we had to help him through all of that and bring him into our home because of it and, you know, it was just a whole thing.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we said, I told my friend, I said, we can't have that again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: you know we can't have we can't have him getting sick in the hospital again as a result of this and so so he went over there and and listen to this because you know this is man talk about the wonder of God hallelujah well he goes over there he shows up to their house they didn't even know that he was coming Terry text me and said it was this guy I said don't worry he's good let him in
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He goes over there and he looks at it and he goes out and he discovers the same problem that we had another guy come out and see what the problem was and that there was a very clear leak in the system and The leak that was in the indoor unit got fixed and now there's a leak on the outdoor unit right and you know of course one thing after another and he goes out there and he sees and he said he tells him
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I can see where the leak is, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He calls me on the phone, he tells me, there's a good size, a hole, there's a leak.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to need repaired, I think I can weld it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He said, but it's in a really difficult spot.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So I can understand why other companies have said, just replace the whole thing, because they don't want to do the hard work to fix it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He said, but I could see it, it bubbles up.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He did all the things, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Stuff that I don't even understand.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So he says, well, you know, before I fix it, I'm going to clean the area up.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to do this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to do that, whatever, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So meanwhile, Terry and Nicole are in the house praying, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And they say, Lord, you're going to have to do a miracle here, right?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I get a phone call about an hour later from my friend.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he calls me and he said, Austin,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I have never experienced or seen what just happened.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, I don't know how this could have happened.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know how this could have happened.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This makes no sense to me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Say, but when I went back out there to fix it, the spot that had a hole that was leaking was not there anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He said, I've never seen this in my life before.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He said, I can't even figure it out.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He said, I even hooked up my pressure to it and applied 400 pounds of pressure.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it still did not leak at all.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He said, but I clearly saw with my own two eyes where the whole was, where the leak was.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And now I go back out there and he said, I don't know what happened.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I said, I'll tell you exactly what happened Jose.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There were two people that were in that house while you were out there that were praying and believing for a miracle from God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And you can't tell me that God is not good, that God is not faithful and that He doesn't do a work on our behalf, hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And he'll send the Holy Spirit to go and repair something.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah, come on, you think that's crazy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's real, it just took place.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Ain't nobody can tell me that our God ain't real and that the Holy Spirit don't do mysterious things on our behalf Hallelujah Thank you Lord Yeah, mine blown mine blown 2.0 I mean He said I You kept saying I don't I do not get I don't understand like I don't know how this happened I just kept saying I do
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, but it doesn't make sense.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It makes sense?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I've never seen this in my career of over 30 years of doing this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the goodness of God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the Holy Spirit going forth and doing a work on somebody's behalf.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's something that we can't do on our own.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It is only supernatural.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But when you understand that you live in a place of total victory, you can speak to a dang air conditioning unit and it's got to line up with the Word of God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you may think that stuff like that is crazy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's not crazy.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's normal.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That is how our lives should be lived.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we could speak to a thing, come on, and it has to come into total submission to the Word of God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if that don't get you excited, I don't know what would.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of all.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So the course of Christianity begins not with the Holy Spirit, but it begins at the cross of Calvary.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: For you cannot bypass the cross in the glorious resurrection of our Savior to get to the Holy Spirit, but it is the death, burial, and resurrection of a king.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, that made a way for us to have access and to the works in the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So there had to be a cross, there had to be a death, there had to be a resurrection before there could be an empowering of the Holy Ghost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so we cannot bypass salvation and just say, well, I want the Holy Spirit, I want the fuzzy things of God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, we gotta get right with God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We gotta accept the power of the cross and the work of the gospel.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We gotta get saved, come on somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We gotta start living for Jesus and then we allow the Holy Spirit to begin to do a work in our lives.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We cannot put all of our emphasis on the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If we can't first acknowledge that there's a gift of salvation that was made available for us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it was our yes to Jesus that we get to now be part takers of the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So when it comes to understanding the Holy Spirit, you need to know that he is not part of the course that we're on as believers.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He is a step closer to the finish line.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: and having him a part of our lives, amen?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That he is a part of the course.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Everything on this journey with what Jesus is a course, it's a journey to walk, it's an active faith, and it's the Holy Spirit that comes alongside us and helps us through this journey, amen?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So number one is that number two is this, is that the Holy Spirit is your source.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is your source.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah, the Holy Spirit is your source.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hear me, Spirit baptism is the source of spiritual power.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Spirit baptism is the source of spiritual power.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there are times in our lives when we don't know the answer, when we don't know how to fight,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know what to do, we don't know what to say, we don't know how to respond.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's a part of life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There are times where things are gonna be like that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But then we remember that there is a source called the Holy Ghost that's on the inside of us that we can begin to tap into and all of a sudden we get empowered in that situation that we're dealing with.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We look at that situation and we think, man, it's impossible.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how to respond.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what to think in the midst of this.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And then all of a sudden, we remember a way to second.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I've got the Holy Ghost on the inside of me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Ghost knows how to respond.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Ghost knows the answer.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Ghost knows how to act.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I got to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit to get me through that problem.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And you see church there are folks that don't operate in the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's very evident.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: want to know how?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because they always looked defeated.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They always looked defeated.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, it's one day always looking defeated.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That is somebody that is not operating in the power of the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit, nor would God or Jesus would have never died on the cross for you to live defeated anyways.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit do not allow you to live a defeated life as a believer.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's impossible.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's not, that's not.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He would have never created you otherwise.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He would never create it to you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And so here's the problem.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Religion says, you don't need the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what religion says.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Then you buy into that line and attack comes and it knocks you out.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because you bought into the lie.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't need the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The attack hits.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Boom.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You get knocked out.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Listen, when you're filled with the Holy Ghost, and you understand that you've been empowered by the living God with His Spirit, you won't fight like you have just a little water pistol in your hand.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You'll fight like you're holding a fire hydrant.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And when all hell begins to break loose and the devil begins to come at you, you won't stand there saying, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to make it through this situation, but you're gonna say, I got the Holy Spirit on the inside of me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Bring it on, baby.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, bring it on, baby.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There ain't nothing that's gonna take me out.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is nothing that's gonna defeat me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There is nothing that's gonna hold me back because I got the work of the Holy Ghost on the inside of me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And you need to know that when you tap into the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost begins to move on your life, it is like opening up a fire hydrant, and that thing just gushes out and it will knock over and take out anything.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Let me tell ya.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But that's the problem.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So many of us encounter in attack, can we say, well, maybe just a... Pew.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, no, no, no, wait a second.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That one little scripture is great.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad you know it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: God says, I need you to have more than that, though.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I need you to tap into my spirit that I gave you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That is way stronger than just a little, it is a, it is a, it is a gush, it is a powerful force.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It is a force to be reckoned with.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It is greater than any kind of natural force upon this earth, but it is the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing is stronger, nothing is greater, nothing is more significant than the power of the precious Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, there are times in life when we think and we see this thing and, you know, that you're looking at this situation and the answer, your desiring is not within you, but the answer is in the one who's on the inside of you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I think sometimes we face life situations and we say, well, what's the answer?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What's the answer?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: No, the answer is already on the inside of you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's the one that's contained on the inside of you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit has the answers to every problem that you will ever deal with.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Let's look at Romans chapter 8, verse 26 and 27.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Romans chapter 8, verse 26 and 27.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Look at what it says.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It says in the same way the Spirit, okay?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So there it is.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Not anything else, this is the Holy Spirit right here.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Spirit also joins to help in our weakness.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, thank you, God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That in moments of weakness and trials and tribulations, I have somebody who helps come alongside me and joins me in that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Jesus, because we do not know what to spray for as we should.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, how many have you ever been there before?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When you're going through something, you don't even know how to pray about it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Let alone do anything about it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with unspoken grownings.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And He who searches the hearts knows the Spirit's mindset because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to know the will of God in that situation that you're going through, then you need the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The only way that you're going to find out the will of God in that situation that you're going through is to tap into the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Otherwise, scripture would have said something completely different.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It would have just said, pray to Jesus and all your answers will be met.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But it doesn't say that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It says, it's the work of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The inner seeds from us that comes alongside us, that helps us in moments of weakness, that prays for us when we don't know how to pray, that helps us, come on somebody, and that it does what the will of God is.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: People say, I don't know what the will of God is from my life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Ask the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Ask the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Spirit show me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What your will is for this problem.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Spirit, show me what your will is for my life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's true, we don't know.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We're understand what we need at times, but the Scripture teaches us that when we begin to tap into the Holy Spirit and we pray in the Holy Spirit, he intercedes for us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Hallelujah.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't know how to pray, but we pray in the Spirit who knows all things.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Then instead of doing all of the work, it's the power of the Holy Spirit that does the work
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is why it says in the very next verse in Romans 828, Paul says this powerful statement that we all know, let's look at it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Romans 828.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: There it is.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, those who are called according to his
-
[SPEAKER_01]: People that know God and have a relationship with Him will quote this scripture all day long.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We know that all things work together, all things will work together for me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But we gotta remember what the verse said right before that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the Holy Spirit that does the work on our behalf that will intercede for us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When we have the Holy Spirit as a part of our lives, then we know that all things will work out for our good.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You see how they're connected.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's the Spirit's work and allowing the Spirit's work in our lives to do what the Spirit of God was sent forth to do.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So that way, we can proclaim all things we'll work out for our good.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You can't just say, all things will work out for my good because I love God.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's true, but all things will work out for your good because you love God, but because you have the Holy Spirit's work, the verse right before it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: This is why context and understanding scripture is so important.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And say, that's the verse, that's it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: So what that means, no, you got to look at all of it because it's the Spirit's working, that leads us to a place where all things will work together for our good.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Amen?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: How did Paul know that all things would work together for his good because he tapped into the source that was greater than himself?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And the Spirit of God and all his powers, far greater, why is it stronger, more powerful than any other force upon this earth?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: At least we need a number three in Josh, you can come up.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Number three is this, is that the Holy Spirit is the Force.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is the Force.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is part of the course.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is our source, and the Holy Spirit is the Force, the Force.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The people in the upper room, that night on an afternoon that we read,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: had an encounter with the Holy Spirit unlike ever before.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But I want you to hear me loud and clear this morning.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What happened in that upper room and Acts chapter two would not allow them to contain it within the room that they were in.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But it followed them outside of that place.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And can I tell you today that the Holy Ghost can never be contained within these four walls of this church?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: She'll say, hey man, for that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Because once you have an encounter with the power of the Holy Spirit, you are never ever, ever, ever the same again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: You're never the same again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When you see somebody get radically healed before your own two eyes, you can't live the same anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: When you yourself get radically healed, you can't be the same anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's so glorious, it's so magnificent, it's so powerful.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And somebody was saying, well, pastor, the Holy Spirit is not aggressive.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is not loud.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Where you think like that?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit is a gentleman.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I know the Holy Spirit is a gentleman at times, but at other times, he's allowed sound like Acts chapter two.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: At other times, he's a mighty rushing wind.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: At other times, he's a flame that's unstoppable.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And sometimes we got to get blasted by the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes we need a reminder from the Holy Spirit that we can be empowered, that we can become more the victorious.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know about you, but I want an encounter with the Holy Spirit unlike ever before.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I've had many encounters with the Holy Ghost.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen a lot of different things in my life, but that doesn't mean I'm satisfied with what I've seen.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hungry for more.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not okay with what I've experienced.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I want more.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's not me being selfish.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's me putting a demand on God for the work of His Holy Spirit, and He desires that from us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He commands that from us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He wants us to put a demand on Him and to put a demand on His power, to put a demand on His Word, to put a demand on His works, to put a demand on the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's what He wants for our lives.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: If we sit back and cross our arms and sit there and just allow life to pass by and just deal with the stuff that we have to deal with and just suffer through life and just be miserable and just waiting on the good old day, just wait for Jesus to come back for me.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: What kind of life is that?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I like when the Holy Spirit shows up and does the unexpected.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I like when the Holy Spirit shows up, and the force is a recognizable force.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I like when the Holy Spirit showed up last Sunday after everything that occurred at this altar.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And right back there, you had your knee brace on, and you said, well, you basically came up to me and said, well, you please pray for she calls you Nana.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Mama, she said, well, you please pray for her because her knees hurting really bad.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, of course, baby.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And right back there, sitting on that last corner chair, laid my hands on her knees.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We came against that spirit of infirmity.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And we rebuked it, and I kept praying, I kept praying.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I stopped praying, I said, how is it feeling?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little bit better.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, well, we're gonna pray until you're completely healed.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We pray it again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: How you feeling?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's better.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: She was moving it around.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, I'm not looking for better.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm looking for guilt.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: They prayed again.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And she stood up, and she moved it.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And tears were coming down her eyes.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And she said, I feel so much better now.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the work of the Holy Spirit.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I got excited this morning when I saw you walk in the church without your knee brace on.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Whoo!
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That's the force of the Holy Ghost, let me tell you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready to see things that I haven't seen in a long time.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready to witness signs, wonders, and miracles, unlike ever before.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I'm ready for a greater level of the power of the Holy Ghost, working in our church, working in your household,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Showing up to your workplace when you walk in the door, come on somebody, reckon you on the side of the road, you just got to pull over because you're lost in the Holy Ghost when you're driving.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on, I'm telling you, I've done that before.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's real.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: The Holy Spirit wants to invade every part of your life.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: And I've said this, I used to teach our teenagers this all the time for years.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I said, I would tell them, I would say this, I would say the Holy Spirit is always talking,
-
[SPEAKER_01]: In other words, the Holy Spirit's always wanting to do something.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's always wanting to show up.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's always wanting to talk.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: He's always wanting to move.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: But are you willing?
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's as simple as that.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: It's as simple as listening, being aware, knowing that the Holy Spirit wants to show up on your behalf.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I hope we get so wrecked by the power of the Holy Spirit, that waterproof mascara can't even stay on your eyes.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I pray we get so rectified by the power of the Holy Spirit that you're nice church clothes that you pressed and got looking real good before you came this morning and get all wrinkled up because you're on the floor crying out to God because the Holy Spirit's touching you.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on somebody.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: I want to get to the place where we don't care what we look like.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: We don't care what we feel like anymore.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: That we may show up to church with a headache, but that's okay because we know the Holy Spirit's going to do a work for us.
-
[SPEAKER_01]: Come on somebody, I'm not trying to look cute, I'm not trying to impress anybody, I'm not trying to make myself look good, I just want to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit that changes me, that marks me, that transforms me,
