“Is it the Twelfth Hour?” - Luke 7 - July 20th, 2025 - Pastor Scotty Brown

Speaker 1: And I said last week that I was encouraged by a couple of folks, not that I get encouraged

Speaker 1: that often, because a lot of Mondays I just want to quit and it will be a cowboy again,

Speaker 1: but I'm getting too old to even do that.

Speaker 1: So also I want to sing happy birthday to my friend George King.

Speaker 1: Happy birthday to you.

Speaker 2: Oh, you guys sound good.

Speaker 2: Happy birthday to you.

Speaker 2: Happy birthday, dear George.

Speaker 2: Happy birthday to you.

Speaker 2: We love you, George.

Speaker 1: your grandson put me up to that so

Speaker 1: Clay, you're in big trouble.

Speaker 1: Well, if you have your Bible, I hope you have your Bible.

Speaker 1: I'm not even going to tell you where to turn

Speaker 1: because we are going to be all over.

Speaker 1: This session is called biblical gymnastics.

Speaker 1: So hang on tight.

Speaker 1: But I just thought, man, we just need to be aware of the times that we live in.

Speaker 1: We're in the last days.

Speaker 1: And I know some people say, well, haven't we been in the last days forever?

Speaker 1: Yes, we've been in the last days since Jesus came.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: We've been in the last days.

Speaker 1: Now, if we were in the last days 2,000 years ago, how much more so are we in the last days today?

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: it's at the very hour.

Speaker 1: In fact, I think that's what I dubbed my message.

Speaker 1: Is this the 12th hour?

Speaker 1: Question mark.

Speaker 1: If it's not, then it's 1155.

Speaker 1: And so Jesus said in Matthew chapter 24 and 25,

Speaker 1: watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.

Speaker 1: Now, some think this applies to the second coming.

Speaker 1: some to the rapture. The fact is

Speaker 1: that the Bible teaches both.

Speaker 1: That the Lord's going to come. He's going to

Speaker 1: come in a cloud. He's going to

Speaker 1: snatch out. Or actually, that's

Speaker 1: the word rapture. People will argue

Speaker 1: well, the word rapture is not in the Bible.

Speaker 1: Well, there's a lot of words that aren't in the Bible

Speaker 1: that equine's not in the Bible,

Speaker 1: but horses.

Speaker 1: So you get it?

Speaker 1: it's in the Latin was raptus or raptuso i think is what it's what it is but it means to be caught up or to

Speaker 1: snatched out by force that the Lord's going to come with a shout with the trump of the archangel and he's going to

Speaker 1: take us out take the church the believers out and and so that's the rapture and then the second coming is when

Speaker 1: Jesus comes and sets up his thousand-year reign at the end of the seven-year reign at the end of the

Speaker 1: in your tribulation period.

Speaker 1: And that's going to happen these seven years.

Speaker 1: And so regardless of what this is referring to,

Speaker 1: the fact is, is Jesus is coming and you and I need to be ready.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: And the word, watch there, it means to stay awake figuratively

Speaker 1: or literally to be vigilant, to be responsible, to be watchful.

Speaker 1: right to watch and mark 13 verses 32 through 37 i'm going to read it to you and so we get the

Mark 13:32–37

Speaker 1: end time idea from matthew 24 luke 21 and mark 13 and in mark 13 verse 32 it says but of that day

Mark 13:32

Speaker 1: an hour no one knows not even the angels in heaven nor the sun but only the father take he

Speaker 1: watch and pray, for you do not know when the time is.

Speaker 1: It is like a man going to a far country who left his house and gave authority to his

Speaker 1: servants to each his work and commanded the doorkeeper to watch.

Speaker 1: Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming in the evening

Speaker 1: at midnight or at the crowing of the rooster or in the morning, lest coming suddenly he

Speaker 1: find you sleeping and that which I say to you, I say to all, watch.

Speaker 1: And so as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, if you are not watching, you are being extremely

Speaker 1: foolish.

Speaker 1: Because when you watch, it does something to you and me.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: When we are watching for the coming of the Lord, it affects how I live my life.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: It affects me.

Speaker 1: It affects me morally.

Speaker 1: Because I am extremely bent towards wickedness and sin and evil.

Speaker 1: It's terrible.

Speaker 1: Why is it that this flesh just wakes up every morning,

Speaker 1: lusting and desiring and in darkness?

Speaker 1: It's just, it's, you get weary, right?

Speaker 1: Don't you get weary of your sinful bent?

Speaker 1: You just kind of keep fighting against?

Speaker 1: But it's a good fight is what the apostle Paul told us.

Speaker 1: So you say then, well, what then, pastor, are we watching?

Speaker 1: What do we watch?

Speaker 1: Right? Do we watch the sky?

Speaker 1: and see all the Kim trails?

Speaker 1: You know, I don't get too watered up about that stuff

Speaker 1: because you've got to die somehow.

Speaker 1: So I just want to be focused on Jesus, you know,

Speaker 1: when I take my last breath.

Speaker 1: So could be a Kim trail, could be a violent car wreck.

Speaker 1: I got on a young horse yesterday.

Speaker 1: could have easily thrown me on my head, you know, and that would be the end. And it's not the how

Speaker 1: that you die, but when you die, are you ready to meet your God? And I think the Bible speaks to that.

Speaker 1: He says, prepare to meet your God. And we all should be prepared for that. So for starters,

Speaker 1: a good way to watch is media, right? We've got more media now than you can shake a stick at.

Speaker 1: Right? There's all, there's liberal media.

Speaker 1: There's conservative media.

Speaker 1: There's psychotic media.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: Some of these people, some of the hairbrain stuff, they come up, and you go, wow.

Speaker 1: Right.

Speaker 1: And so what kind of media do you watch?

Speaker 1: Well, you know, I'll occasionally flip on CNN.

Speaker 1: And my wife's like, looking at me.

Speaker 1: Sacrilege.

Speaker 1: Just kidding.

Speaker 1: No, they have a, they have their bent and their ideas, right?

Speaker 1: Some people think Fox News can do no wrong.

Speaker 1: And then others think they're demon possessed.

Speaker 1: So I've got a Bible verse that I want to share with you today that is really, it's just,

Speaker 1: it's just so full of wisdom.

Speaker 1: And it's only a few words.

Speaker 1: It's found in 1st Thessalonians chapter 5, verse 21.

Speaker 1: Listen to this what it says.

Speaker 1: Test all things hold fast what is good.

Speaker 1: Test all things, hold fast what is good.

Speaker 1: How do you test things with the truth?

Speaker 1: The truth is found right here.

Speaker 1: It's not truths.

Speaker 1: It's not your truth and my truth.

Speaker 1: It's one truth from God.

Speaker 1: God is truth.

Speaker 1: The Lord Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life.

Speaker 1: So you test all things with what, with the truth?

Speaker 1: That's how you test things.

Speaker 1: And then hang on to what's good.

Speaker 1: And so most, you know, media in today's world is,

Speaker 1: it's got their bent and their opinions.

Speaker 1: opinions are truly like feet. Most everyone has them and they all stink. But it's really,

Speaker 1: listen to watchmen, people who know, right? I love it when people come and ask me what I think

Speaker 1: about what's going on in the world as it pertains to the Bible and what God's word shares with us.

Speaker 1: In the Bible, there were watchmen, and they were there to watchmen, and they were there to watch for the

Speaker 1: and watch for the communities

Speaker 1: and to watch for the next generation.

Speaker 1: And that's why we need to speak up

Speaker 1: when things start going awry.

Speaker 1: It was my birthday this week,

Speaker 1: and my dear friend,

Speaker 1: Chris Cottle, give me a little plaque

Speaker 1: that I can hang on my wall.

Speaker 1: And it says,

Speaker 1: if you are confused about genders, try milking a bull.

Speaker 1: Caching!

Speaker 1: Caching!

Speaker 1: See, that's...

Speaker 1: I don't know if you've ever tried milk and a bull.

Speaker 1: Can I just suggest don't try that?

Speaker 1: Right.

Speaker 1: But there were watchmen, right?

Speaker 1: Isaiah 21 6. It says, for thus says the Lord to me, go station the lookout. Let him report what he sees.

Speaker 1: What he sees in accordance with what God's will is and who God is. That's how you and I live our life.

Speaker 1: That's how we determine the rights and the wrongs. It's according to the truth of God and his word.

Speaker 1: Again, in Isaiah, it says, listen, your watchmen, lift up their voices. They shout joyfully together, for they will see with their own

Speaker 1: own eyes when the Lord restores Zion. Zion's coming. Are you watching? Are you watching for it?

Speaker 1: People are so confused about, oh, Zionism, that's not good, is it? Because they don't know.

Speaker 1: There's an ignorance in the church. There's an ignorance in this generation. There's an ignorance in my generation.

Speaker 1: about who's in control?

Speaker 1: What is all this stuff with Israel?

Speaker 1: So there's some watchmen that I personally,

Speaker 1: I test what they say.

Speaker 1: I hold on to what's good because not everybody gets it right.

Speaker 1: And so I just wanted to share some of them with you,

Speaker 1: and you might want to write some of them down,

Speaker 1: some of these people.

Speaker 1: So, and some of the watchmen that I listen to today, one is Amir Sarfate.

Speaker 1: He's a Jewish Christian who lives in Galilee, and his ministry is called Behold Israel.

Speaker 1: So you can write that down probably Behold Israel.

Speaker 1: There's another one, another Jewish Christian, who was born and raised in America and then moved there.

Speaker 1: And his name's Joel Rosenberg, and he has a thing called the Rosenberg Report.

Speaker 1: And he reports what's going on in the Middle East.

Speaker 1: And then there's another fella that is sometimes with some of these other guys,

Speaker 1: and his name's Tom Hughes.

Speaker 1: It's called the Tom Hughes Report.

Speaker 1: And Tom Hughes, a lot of times, will hook up with a guy named Dennis Swick.

Speaker 1: And Swick is the inventor of his channel and has been on some of the cutting edges,

Speaker 1: some of the technology that we see today and has a very good take on what's coming as far as

Speaker 1: technology's concerned, which is we're going to get to some of that here in a little bit too.

Speaker 1: Another one is Eric Stacklebeck, and his program is called the Watchman Newscast, Eric Stacklebeck.

Speaker 1: And then, of course, Jan Markell, All the Tree Ministries.

Speaker 1: I listened to a little blurb that she put out today.

Speaker 1: J.D. Farag is who grew up in Lebanon and has a really good feel for what's going on.

Speaker 1: The Mid-East News station that I've been kind of just watching recently is called I-24 News.

Speaker 1: I-24 News.

Speaker 1: And so you listen to these people and these newscast, and you can find out what's going on in the world,

Speaker 1: some that are trusted, some that claim the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Speaker 1: And so another guy we just got hooked up with because his sister-in-laws go to church here is

Speaker 1: Noam Cohen.

Speaker 1: And he lives there in the Galilee in Israel as well.

Speaker 1: And they're seeing some really cool things happening over there.

Speaker 1: So all of these have something in common, right?

Speaker 1: They are connected to the Middle East.

Speaker 1: They're reporting on what's going on over there.

Speaker 1: Why is that?

Speaker 1: Because the Middle East is a geographical area where God has been, has placed his name.

Speaker 1: There in Israel.

Speaker 1: Just been reading about it in the Bible.

Speaker 1: In fact, everywhere I read in the Bible, it's about that.

Speaker 1: right it's about god geographically setting his name there god personally calling abraham

Speaker 1: isac and jacob and god establishing them and their descendants as a nation now he established the

Speaker 1: other ones as nations as well right he said that ishmael is going to be a great nation

Speaker 1: and he is but it also said he's going to be a wild man and his hand is going to be against every man

Speaker 1: including his brothers.

Speaker 1: And we see that going on today.

Speaker 1: Somebody has rightly said that Israel is God's timepiece.

Speaker 1: I believe it was Chuck Missler.

Speaker 1: That's where time began.

Speaker 1: That's where time will end.

Speaker 1: Jerusalem is considered the eternal city,

Speaker 1: aka Zion.

Speaker 1: And so that's what you watch.

Speaker 1: When war is going on,

Speaker 1: it's it's crazy

Speaker 1: Israel is fighting right now on seven fronts

Speaker 1: seven fronts

Speaker 1: the Houthis and the Hamas and Hezpala

Speaker 1: and Syria

Speaker 1: in Iran and Lord knows what others

Speaker 1: right

Speaker 1: so that's what we're watching

Speaker 1: we're watching this and and as believers

Speaker 1: and what we're seeing not just in the

Speaker 1: in the American church

Speaker 1: in Christendom, but in the world, it seems like there's two camps. The one camp is there's extremes,

Speaker 1: right, and this is just in the church. One extreme is, is the replacement theology that God

Speaker 1: has allowed the church to replace Israel. That's not right. Nowhere has he said that. You know,

Speaker 1: the word Israel is in the Bible almost 2,500 times. And Israel means, some believe,

Speaker 1: he who wrestles with God, some have said prince with God, but it's connected to God.

Speaker 1: And they have their place in this world.

Speaker 1: And so people say, well, no, they've done too many bad things, they've gone too far away from the Lord,

Speaker 1: therefore he's replaced them with the church.

Speaker 1: Nowhere do we find that in Scripture.

Speaker 1: And then you really have to throw out Romans chapter 11.

Romans 11 · chapter mention

Speaker 1: So that's the one thing that they're not legitimate at all, right?

Speaker 1: The other one is that thinking, well, to say that God has replaced Israel would suggest that God is a liar

Speaker 1: because he hasn't kept his promise to them, right?

Speaker 1: If God can't keep his promise to Israel, could he keep his promise to us?

Speaker 1: Or won't?

Speaker 1: Can you go too far?

Speaker 1: Well, I don't know.

Speaker 1: It doesn't appear that Israel has.

Speaker 1: Some people in Israel?

Speaker 1: Some people have.

Speaker 1: Some people have gone too far.

Speaker 1: And God deals with those.

Speaker 1: And God will deal with you and I.

Speaker 1: And he will deal with our heart towards one another.

Speaker 1: Now, what's interesting is when God made his covenant with Israel,

Speaker 1: or with, shall we go back to Abraham, it was a unilateral covenant, right?

Speaker 1: That means that it was one way.

Speaker 1: God made the promise, therefore God will keep the promise.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: It's a unilateral covenant.

Speaker 1: Now, when Moses comes along, that's a bilateral covenant.

Speaker 1: The law was a bilateral covenant.

Speaker 1: Remember, the Bible says, if you do this, this, this, and this, then this, this,

Speaker 1: and this will happen.

Speaker 1: But if you do this, this, this and this will happen.

Speaker 1: right that's by that that's a two-part covenant that god really gave us to show us we all need a unilateral

Speaker 1: covenant right because why because we break the bilateral one we can't keep up our end of the deal

Speaker 1: and that's what the law does and so and the lord promised that and he says kaching that's going to

Speaker 1: happen and in isaiah chapter 11 verses 11 and 12 he says this

Isaiah 11:11

Speaker 1: then it will happen on that day that the Lord will again recover the second time with his hand

Speaker 1: the remnant of his people who will remain from Syria, from Egypt, from Pathos, from Kush, Ilam, Shinar,

Speaker 1: Hamath, and from the Isles of the Sea.

Speaker 1: And he will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel

Speaker 1: and will gather the dispersed of Israel from the four corners of the earth.

Speaker 1: That's what God has been doing since 1948.

Speaker 1: He's been reestablishing this nation of Israel.

Speaker 1: And it's never going to go anywhere.

Speaker 1: Though we hear, right, in all these newscast that you hear,

Speaker 1: is that radical Islam wants to destroy them

Speaker 1: and wipe them off the face of the earth, as well as us, Americans.

Speaker 1: The great Satan and the little Satan.

Speaker 1: I think Israel seems to have a little more stock with God than we do.

Speaker 1: I don't know why they call us the great Satan, but he's going to do that.

Speaker 1: Because they have been scattered.

Speaker 1: They did transgress, and they did worship false gods, and they did evil, just like you and me.

Speaker 1: See, when people point a finger at Israel, they have to realize the judgment that they would pass on Israel is the same judgment that's going to come back on them.

Speaker 1: And so it is with everyone, correct?

Speaker 1: Even our enemies.

Speaker 1: So you watch that.

Speaker 1: But if it was true that God had replaced Israel with the church, then 1948 would have never happened.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: And salvation would have never come to you and I.

Speaker 1: Because Jesus talks about it when he's talking to the woman at the well.

Speaker 1: You guys remember the story there in John chapter 4.

John 4 · chapter mention

Speaker 1: He goes to the well.

Speaker 1: This gal shows up.

Speaker 1: she's a woman of questionable character. And Jesus starts talking to her. And he kind of puts

Speaker 1: his finger on her sin. He goes, hey, go get your husband. You remember the story, right? And she goes,

Speaker 1: well, you know, girls are. Girls can be so cocky. Well, I have no husband. And Jesus goes,

Speaker 1: you have rightly said you have no husband. You have five. You've had five husbands. And the dude you're

Speaker 1: shacked up with now, he's not your husband. Oh, she gets kind of serious. And she goes, oh, I perceive

Speaker 1: you're a prophet. Right? He called her on the carpet for her life. Not that he wasn't, I don't think the Lord was

Speaker 1: being flippant or belligerent to her.

Speaker 1: I think he was just calling a spade a spade.

Speaker 1: He goes, I know you have no husband.

Speaker 1: You've had five husbands, right?

Speaker 1: Maybe he was putting his finger on the pulse of her desire in life

Speaker 1: thinking that a man could satisfy her soul.

Speaker 1: And girls, can I just tell you,

Speaker 1: there ain't no man going to satisfy your soul except Jesus.

Speaker 1: And so anyway,

Speaker 1: So he starts talking to her and Jesus said to her,

Speaker 1: Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain

Speaker 1: nor in Jerusalem worship the Father.

Speaker 1: For you worship what you do not know.

Speaker 1: We know what we worship.

Speaker 1: For salvation is of the Jews.

Speaker 1: Salvation is of the Jews.

Speaker 1: That's why the Jews are a prominent fixture.

Speaker 1: Whether they're good or evil, they're a prominent fixture because of God's promise.

Speaker 1: And they were the vehicle that God was going to bring his salvation through, this people group.

Speaker 1: See, they're no better than you and I, but they're no more wicked than you and I.

Speaker 1: And so Jews, it's interesting, that word, it means those who praise God.

Speaker 1: Right, it comes from the word Judah or Judea, those who praise God.

Speaker 1: And they should.

Speaker 1: but so many don't because so many of the Jews are atheistic today.

Speaker 1: But God's going to reel them in, right?

Speaker 1: He's going to reveal himself to them.

Speaker 1: And he's going to show them.

Speaker 1: Because Jesus goes on and says,

Speaker 1: but the hour is coming and now is

Speaker 1: when the worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth,

Speaker 1: for the Father is seeking such to worship him.

Speaker 1: Is that you?

Speaker 1: Are you worshiping him in spirit and in truth?

Speaker 1: Are you just kind of doing things your own way?

Speaker 1: If there's ever a time, folks, I sound like a broken record because I say this all the time.

Speaker 1: If there's ever a time for us to be walking close to Jesus, it's right now.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: It's right now.

Speaker 1: So the other extreme is, that's the one extreme that they're not legitimate.

Speaker 1: The other extreme is that Israel cannot do no wrong.

Speaker 1: and if you criticize them, you're anti-Semitic.

Speaker 1: Well, that's not true either.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: They make mistakes just like you and I make mistakes.

Speaker 1: Do you criticize your kids' mistakes sometimes?

Speaker 1: Yeah, I let them know.

Speaker 1: It's funny, Pastor Stephen and I had lunch with a guy that's retired from the IDF,

Speaker 1: from the Israeli Defense Force here about a month ago.

Speaker 1: His name's Roney Simone, and he's from, he's from,

Speaker 1: Israel. He does tour guides over there. And as we were talking to him, he had a lot to say about

Speaker 1: Benjamin Netanyahu that wasn't too good. Right? He totally disagrees with him. Does that mean he's

Speaker 1: anti-Semitic? No. It doesn't. It means he disagrees with some of the decisions that his leader

Speaker 1: has made. You ever done that? Right? We have. Right? So,

Speaker 1: it's not anti-Semitic to be critical of stupid decisions that nations make.

Speaker 1: But that's where you have to leave it.

Speaker 1: Okay, yesterday the day before was a huge upheaval.

Speaker 1: Charlie Kirk had a big event, had Tucker Carlson come talk.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: Some of the, who saw the spat between Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz?

Speaker 1: Anybody see that?

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: So you've seen the spat between Tucker Carlson and Ted Cruz.

Speaker 1: Well, Tucker kind of went on the same kind of little rant at the Charlie Kirk event.

Speaker 1: And everybody's just up in arms.

Speaker 1: Michelle Bachman and Jan Markell and, you know, others are just up in arms about what Tucker did.

Speaker 1: Because he did call Israel into question.

Speaker 1: And people said, well, these 20-year-olds, they're, you know, he's impressing them.

Speaker 1: and, you know, when you take a poll among the 20-somethings,

Speaker 1: and not many of them support Israel.

Speaker 1: And so people are all watered up.

Speaker 1: Well, I'm sorry, I have to go back to First Thessalon and chapter 5 again.

Speaker 1: Test all things, hold on to what's good.

Speaker 1: And I think our 20-year-olds are, you know, our 20-somethings, are smart enough.

Speaker 1: I don't think they're stupid.

Speaker 1: They're smart enough to figure this out.

Speaker 1: that all you have to do is read the Bible and realize that God has a plan for Israel

Speaker 1: and that we as believers in Jesus are to have a unconditional love for Israel.

Speaker 1: Doesn't mean we always have to agree with them.

Speaker 1: It means you have to have an unconditional love for them,

Speaker 1: just like you have to do your enemies.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: The Bible says that you have to love your enemies.

Speaker 1: Your family members.

Speaker 1: I look at Israel, you guys.

Speaker 1: I look at them like an older sibling

Speaker 1: that didn't get everything right.

Speaker 1: I had one of those.

Speaker 1: I had an older sibling

Speaker 1: that two of them older than me,

Speaker 1: my sister Shana and my brother Randy are both older than me,

Speaker 1: and I looked at their life and I thought,

Speaker 1: well, it's probably not a great way to live.

Speaker 1: And I didn't agree with

Speaker 1: what they had done in their life.

Speaker 1: And, but that's, that mean I don't love them?

Speaker 1: I don't, yeah, no.

Speaker 1: That means I do love them.

Speaker 1: It's an unconditional, right?

Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what they did.

Speaker 1: It's kind of like parents for children.

Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what your children do.

Speaker 1: You still love them.

Speaker 1: And so it is with, with the church in Israel, we're grafted in.

Speaker 1: We're one.

Speaker 1: We're to be one.

Speaker 1: We can't, it's not us and them.

Speaker 1: It's just us.

Speaker 1: Because in Jesus, there is no Jew.

Speaker 1: there is no Greek, there is no male, there is no female, right? We're all one in Christ Jesus.

Speaker 1: And so that's how you have to see it. If you lose sight of that, that's a scary place.

Speaker 1: That's a really scary place to be if you lose sight of that. And so God has called us to love these people,

Speaker 1: to pray for them, and because God isn't done with them. It says, Paul tells us there in Romans 11,

Speaker 1: I had mentioned it earlier, for I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery,

Speaker 1: lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the

Speaker 1: fullness of the Gentile has come. How many of you've heard that phrase, the fullness of the Gentiles?

Speaker 1: You've heard that phrase, right? What does that mean? Many believe that it was fulfilled,

Speaker 1: the fulfillment of the Gentiles, the time that they would rule over Palestine, over Israel.

Speaker 1: Some believe that ended in 1948. Some believe it was 1967.

Speaker 1: We've been on spiritual overtime for the fulfillment of the Gentiles that ruled over Israel.

Speaker 1: And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written.

Speaker 1: The deliverer will come out of Zion,

Speaker 1: and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob,

Speaker 1: for this is my covenant with them.

Speaker 1: When I take away their sins concerning the gospel,

Speaker 1: they are enemies for your sake.

Speaker 1: But concerning the election,

Speaker 1: they are beloved for the sake of the fathers.

Speaker 1: For the gifts and the callings of God, listen,

Speaker 1: are irrevocable.

Speaker 1: When God calls somebody, when he calls you, right?

Speaker 1: On his part, it's irrevocable.

Speaker 1: It can't be done away with.

Speaker 1: So he's not done with them.

Speaker 1: for as you were once disobedient to God,

Speaker 1: yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience,

Speaker 1: Israel's no different than you and I before we come to Jesus.

Speaker 1: We're all in a place of disobedience.

Speaker 1: and God is long-suffering.

Speaker 1: He meant what he said when he said that to Abraham.

Speaker 1: I'm going to establish you as a person

Speaker 1: and give you a great name right now, around the world.

Speaker 1: Abraham has a great name, right?

Speaker 1: The Jews claim Abraham, the Christians claim Abraham,

Speaker 1: the Muslims claim Abraham,

Speaker 1: the Druze that you're hearing about, D-R-U-Z-E,

Speaker 1: they claim Abraham.

Speaker 1: All is their father.

Speaker 1: All of them claim him.

Speaker 1: I'm going to give you a great name.

Speaker 1: I'm going to make you a great nation.

Speaker 1: That little tiny strip of land there on the eastern side of the Mediterranean.

Speaker 1: I don't know what it is that God has about that, but it's his.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: It's his.

Speaker 1: And so people say, well, pastor, that's just your interpretation.

Speaker 1: You want to talk about interpretation?

Speaker 1: Can't we just read the Bible?

Speaker 1: at face value in context and get what it says.

Speaker 1: Okay, let me read this real quick.

Speaker 1: This is God's, and I've had so many notes.

Speaker 1: This is God's take on Israel, okay?

Speaker 1: Please listen.

Speaker 1: This is talking about the new covenant in Jeremiah chapter 31.

Speaker 1: This is verses 35 and 36.

Speaker 1: I want you to listen to this.

Speaker 1: This is what God's saying about Israel.

Speaker 1: He says,

Speaker 1: Thus says the Lord,

Speaker 1: who gives the son for a light by day,

Speaker 1: the ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night who disturbs the sea and its waves roar,

Speaker 1: the Lord of hosts is his name. That's a good description of the Lord.

Speaker 1: Verse 36. If those ordinances, which one, the sun and the moon and the disturbance of the ocean,

Speaker 1: if those ordinances depart before me, says the Lord, then the seat of Israel shall also cease

Speaker 1: from being a nation before me forever.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: The only way that Israel can disappear off the face of the earth is if the sun

Speaker 1: quits shining and the moon quits coming up at night and the sea

Speaker 1: doesn't have waves anymore.

Speaker 1: That's the only way.

Speaker 1: Sad to say, radical Islam believes that the Quran cannot be true as long as Israel exists.

Speaker 1: And that's why we see what's happening.

Speaker 1: today. That's why they're fighting on seven fronts right now. The Quran cannot be true if Israel

Speaker 1: exists. That's why there is such a bent to wipe them out. That's why it's called the

Speaker 1: religion of death. Because what do they call? They call death to Israel, death to America. That's what

Speaker 1: they call. And what does God call? Death, life to Israel. Life to America. Death, death, the

Speaker 1: to those who love death. If you want death, the Lord is saying, you got it. I'll give you all you want.

Speaker 1: Interpretation of the Bible. Just read it. Because there is so much in the Word of God.

Speaker 1: I want to tell you something, folks, the word here, this thing, it is the eternal Word of God.

Speaker 1: It has no end. And I'm going to do you a case and point, and I'm running out of time. And I've

Speaker 1: I've got so much word that I want to share with you.

Speaker 1: But I ran across Chuck Missler.

Speaker 1: As many of you know Chuck Missler.

Speaker 1: He's crazy smart.

Speaker 1: Maybe he's crazy and smart all at the same time.

Speaker 1: But in the book of Genesis, and I did not go over this when we went through Genesis,

Speaker 1: chapter 38.

Speaker 1: Some of you know chapter 38.

Speaker 1: It's the story of Judah, right?

Speaker 1: Judah.

Speaker 1: Who came from Judah?

Speaker 1: Jesus, right?

Speaker 1: Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah, right?

Speaker 1: So in the middle of Joseph's story,

Speaker 1: we read in 37 where his brothers betrayed him,

Speaker 1: in the middle of Joseph's story in chapter 38

Speaker 1: is this story of Judah.

Speaker 1: Bizarre story, he moves away,

Speaker 1: probably takes some Gentile chick,

Speaker 1: has some boys, the boys are wicked,

Speaker 1: so God kills them.

Speaker 1: God kills these boys.

Speaker 1: Maybe he's saying,

Speaker 1: all right, my Messiah ain't coming from them.

Speaker 1: These are too wicked.

Speaker 1: Well, so the one had gotten married and was Judah's daughter-in-law.

Speaker 1: Her name's Tamar.

Speaker 1: So Judah, his wife, dies.

Speaker 1: So he's a man.

Speaker 1: So he's going by and she plays a prostitute and they have a thing.

Speaker 1: And she gets pregnant with twin boys.

Speaker 1: And you remember the scarlet cord was around the one

Speaker 1: and then the other one was born, and his name was Perez.

Speaker 1: It's a story of just bizarre, kind of perverse, kind of scary,

Speaker 1: because God kills these two dudes because they were wicked, right?

Speaker 1: And then we read about Judah, we read about the two boys,

Speaker 1: and then Perez is in the line of Jesus.

Speaker 1: So it goes from Judah to Perez all the way down to Jesus.

Speaker 1: Jesus comes from this Perez.

Speaker 1: But if you look at it,

Speaker 1: at it in the Hebrew, Hebrew reads right to left. Correct? James? Yes. Hebrew reads right to left, correct?

Speaker 1: And when you break that down, check this out, you guys. When you break that down every 49th letter,

Speaker 1: the first word that it spells is Boaz. You guys know who Boaz is, right? The Kinsman Redeemer,

Speaker 1: the one who took Ruth, who is a descendant of Perez.

Speaker 1: And then you take it the next 49 letters,

Speaker 1: and it comes up with the name Ruth.

Speaker 1: Do you remember Ruth and Boaz?

Speaker 1: And so Ruth and Boaz hook up.

Speaker 1: She's a Moabite, a Gentile bride.

Speaker 1: And then you do the 49,

Speaker 1: letters again, and it comes up with the name Obed. Well, who's Obed? He's the offspring of Ruth and

Speaker 1: Boaz. Guys, and this is in sequence. This is in chronological order. In the Word of God.

Speaker 1: Do you read the Word of God? Because when you do, it absolutely blows your mind. It's

Speaker 1: the eternal word of God. It speaks life into your soul. Well, we're not done yet. One more time,

Speaker 1: it does it again, and it comes up with another name who was the son of Obed, and his name is Jesse.

Speaker 1: In 49 letter intervals, seven times seven, God has something about the number seven, right?

Speaker 1: You do it one more time.

Speaker 1: Who was the son of Jesse?

Speaker 1: David.

Speaker 1: One more time, David.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: Beloved.

Speaker 1: Interpretation, really?

Speaker 1: Guys, I can barely read this thing at face value.

Speaker 1: And get what I need to get.

Speaker 1: There's so much here.

Speaker 1: If you're willing, if you're willing, and you dig in to God's word,

Speaker 1: you're going to have abundant life.

Speaker 1: And so many people, it is the thing that we do the least.

Speaker 1: Well, prayer is the thing we do the least.

Speaker 1: Bible reading is the second thing we do the least.

Speaker 1: So you think about this stuff and, okay, we got Israel.

Speaker 1: But now you've got to watch what's going on in the world.

Speaker 1: So as soon as Israel attacks Iran, what's that, two weeks ago?

Speaker 1: Three weeks ago now.

Speaker 1: They call it the 12-day war, right?

Speaker 1: As soon as America jumps in, hits their nuclear sites, everybody's thinking that's a watchman,

Speaker 1: that's a Christian, that's read the Bible, read the Old Testament.

Speaker 1: Too many people don't read the Old Testament.

Speaker 1: It's relevant for today.

Speaker 1: They think Ezekiel 38 and 39, surely, right?

Speaker 1: Because Iran, what's the old name for Iran?

Speaker 1: Persia.

Speaker 1: Persia.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: And we know that in Ezekiel 38 and 39, man, Persia's in there, Russia's in there.

Speaker 1: but Russia and Persia aren't together in this.

Speaker 1: Libya is in there.

Speaker 1: Ethiopia is in there.

Speaker 1: They're all not together in this.

Speaker 1: So it can't be, right?

Speaker 1: No, it can't be, but it's not.

Speaker 1: If you're a watchman and you know what's going on in the world.

Speaker 1: But Gog is going to come down.

Speaker 1: Russia is going to come down and Persia will be with them.

Speaker 1: Because some people are thinking right now with this whole Iranian thing,

Speaker 1: okay, there's going to be a regime change. And then we're going to have peace and safety, right?

Speaker 1: We don't know that. It doesn't seem like they're wanting to turn much. It's not appearing that they want peace.

Speaker 1: They just want to keep fighting. And so notice it says in Ezekiel chapter 38, verse 11, this is the leader of Magog,

Speaker 1: you will say, it says, I will go up against a land of unwalled villages. I will go to a peaceful people.

Speaker 1: this is speaking of Israel, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates.

Speaker 1: And Russia is going to see, oh, we can go into Israel.

Speaker 1: And later it says they see he's going to take booty.

Speaker 1: But notice, this is what's interesting is God's going to do this.

Speaker 1: God's going to do it.

Speaker 1: God's going to put the hook in his jaw.

Speaker 1: Verses four and five of Zeke of 38 says, I will turn you around and put hooks into

Speaker 1: to your jaws and lead you out with all your army, horses and horsemen, all splendidly clothed,

Speaker 1: a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. Listen, Persia, Ethiopia,

Speaker 1: Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet. Some think that's going to happen

Speaker 1: right before the rapture. Some think it's going to happen after the rapture. It hasn't happened yet,

Speaker 1: but does that mean the rapture's close? Could be.

Speaker 1: so people are saying, okay, pastor, so is this going to happen before the rapture?

Speaker 1: Well, I'm not sure.

Speaker 1: But obviously, like I said earlier, as long as Israel exists, the Quran can't be true.

Speaker 1: So radical Islam is going to continue until maybe somehow it's miraculous destroyed.

Speaker 1: I don't know how that would be.

Speaker 1: But the fact is, is we are coming into a.

Speaker 1: time, yes, there's always been conflict with Israel and the people have been scattered.

Speaker 1: They're back in the land now.

Speaker 1: And there's uncertainty.

Speaker 1: And we're wondering, when is the day or the hour?

Speaker 1: We don't know.

Speaker 1: But we do know some things that are happening in the world that we've never seen before.

Speaker 1: And that is the foundation or the infrastructure of the kingdom of the Antichrist is in place.

Speaker 1: It's in place right now.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: Because we're fast moving toward, I think we're already probably there.

Speaker 1: with a one-world banking system, a one-world banking system, we're going to be pressed to

Speaker 1: partake in a one-world religion, right? And then there is going to be a one-world government.

Speaker 1: And we're fast heading in that way with technology and how all of the nations can be connected

Speaker 1: right now, right? All of the monetary systems can be connected now. And, and, and,

Speaker 1: And so some watchmen to watch on this is a guy by the name of Billy Crone.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: Billy has written a book.

Speaker 1: I believe it's called the kingdom, the main players in the kingdom of the Antichrist.

Speaker 1: And he's saying that this infrastructure for the Antichrist is in place now.

Speaker 1: They're also calling this one world government, one world religion, one world economy.

Speaker 1: They're calling it the Great Reset.

Speaker 1: You heard that one?

Speaker 1: the Great Reset, right? That's what they're calling them. So you have players like Yval Noah Harari.

Speaker 1: It's interesting. Jesus said that as in the days of Noah, so will be the days of the coming of the son of man.

Speaker 1: Yval Noah Harari. Interesting. That was in Luke 61726. And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be. Also in the days of Noah.

Speaker 1: of the son of man. And, and also just here a couple days ago, one meteorologist said,

Speaker 1: we're calling the year 2025 the year of the flood. Well, what happened in Noah's Day?

Speaker 1: Right? But there was a flood, right? There was a flood of wickedness. There was a flood of

Speaker 1: spiritual perversion with the Nethelim and the sons of God and the daughters of men and all the

Speaker 1: bizarre things that were taking place there that is taking place. That's a flood. That's

Speaker 1: Genetic manipulation.

Speaker 1: I mean, it's not just transgenderism, it's transhumanism.

Speaker 1: And I believe that there's a spiritual element to this stuff that's coming.

Speaker 1: So you've got guys like Harari, George Soros, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and this one kind of shocked me, King Charles.

Speaker 1: King Charles is right there in the mix with them.

Speaker 1: Harari is fulfilling prophecy with the whole genetic manipulation.

Speaker 1: He says that we'll be able to control all humans.

Speaker 1: That's why he'll tell us that you'll have nothing and be happy.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: That's what Harari is doing.

Speaker 1: He's fulfilling prophecy and doesn't even know it.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: The genetic modification of humans,

Speaker 1: that seemed to be what happens there in Genesis 6.

Speaker 1: And then they're also calling these people,

Speaker 1: that are genetically modified human 2.0, post-human species, or augmented humanity.

Speaker 1: That's what they're calling these people.

Speaker 1: That they're going to put chips and this weird stuff.

Speaker 1: That's Harari.

Speaker 1: And then you have, right, Soros, who as many believe, he's funding Antifa and BLM and

Speaker 1: calling evil good.

Speaker 1: and good evil.

Speaker 1: I think Isaiah addresses that in Isaiah 5.

Speaker 1: He says,

Speaker 1: woe to those who call evil good and good evil,

Speaker 1: who put darkness for light and light for darkness,

Speaker 1: who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

Speaker 1: Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes

Speaker 1: and prudent in their own sight.

Speaker 1: Woe to those.

Speaker 1: Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Speaker 1: And then you have the one world

Speaker 1: government banking system, Bill Gates is a part of the Who, the World Health Organization,

Speaker 1: no doubt the part of the WEF, the World Economic Forum.

Speaker 1: I think there's a reason that Klaus Schwab stepped down, somebody different's going to step into

Speaker 1: his place.

Speaker 1: But one of the biggest pushers for this great reset is King Charles.

Speaker 1: And they say he has, they say he has.

Speaker 1: power and influence in 53 to 56 countries.

Speaker 1: So these are things we watch as we get closer and closer.

Speaker 1: And you say, well, is there any hope?

Speaker 1: Well, of course there's hope.

Speaker 1: Well, you mean, can I go ahead and live my, well, sure, live your life, right?

Speaker 1: You got dreams?

Speaker 1: But do not, do not let your dreams exclude the Lord Jesus in your life, right?

Speaker 1: Go do what you want.

Speaker 1: Do you love him?

Speaker 1: Obviously, you're going to be a witness to the world.

Speaker 1: But please don't forget to watch.

Speaker 1: Because he's coming.

Speaker 1: Soon and very soon, as the old song says,

Speaker 1: we're going to see the king.

Speaker 1: And everything will pale in comparison.

Speaker 1: This life has nothing,

Speaker 1: nothing that compares with the one to come.

Speaker 1: And that's what he is.

Speaker 1: called us to set our mind on things above, not on the things of the earth. I was just talking to

Speaker 1: my old friend this morning, you know, after having a birthday and seeing some of the struggles he's

Speaker 1: going through and he's in his 70s, and I'm just thinking, all this life affords is labor and

Speaker 1: sorrow. That's what it allows. You see, Pastor, do you got to be such a downer? No, I'm excited

Speaker 1: about these things. Yeah! You know, if I could, I'd jump up and click my heels together. But

Speaker 1: it'd probably hurt.

Speaker 1: Because why?

Speaker 1: Because Jesus is my focal point.

Speaker 1: Jesus is my life.

Speaker 1: So somebody sent me a little video of a boy who was coming out of the anesthesia from a broken arm

Speaker 1: at a skateboard accident.

Speaker 1: And he seems to be kind of in and out of, you know, different dimensions.

Speaker 1: He seems to be seeing and talking to his father, who had died a year earlier, and he's talking to Jesus.

Speaker 1: And this boy goes, oh, Jesus, you're so beautiful.

Speaker 1: He says, Lord, Jesus, we need you.

Speaker 1: Lord, Jesus, I need you.

Speaker 1: Are you desperate for the Lord?

Speaker 1: Being desperate for him every day, it fills my life with life.

Speaker 1: People think, oh, no, no, you're just looking at it.

Speaker 1: You're such a doom and gloom, pastor.

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: You just talk about woe.

Speaker 1: No, not woe.

Speaker 1: Yeha!

Speaker 1: Right?

Speaker 1: Soon and very soon we're going to see the king.

Speaker 1: He's coming for us.

Speaker 1: And so I just want to close with communion today.

Speaker 1: And we're just going to remember him.

Speaker 1: Remember the great sacrifice.

Speaker 1: Jesus came into this life.

Speaker 1: Like I said, it only affords us labor and sorrow.

Speaker 1: And the Bible says he was a man of sorrows acquainted with grief. And he came for you and me.

Speaker 1: Right. And he came to give us hope in the midst of these things that we experience in our human

Speaker 1: experience. Life and death and struggle and all these things. And Jesus come and he came to give us life

Speaker 1: and that more abundantly. And we want to remember that now as we enter into communion. So if you'd take

Speaker 1: your elements and go ahead and pull out the bread and we're just going to,

Speaker 1: hold it before the Lord and we're going to pray over it and thank him for for his broken body.

Speaker 1: And he said, as often you do this, do this in remembrance of me. And so Lord, we just hold the bread before you right now.

Speaker 1: And Lord, we're remembering you and what you did when you came and you experienced this life that we experienced.

Speaker 1: Lord, you lived in the flesh, Lord, you experienced trouble, no doubt death and then torture.

Speaker 1: and the scourge and the cross on our behalf.

Speaker 1: Lord, that as your body was broken and beaten, Lord, you,

Speaker 1: Lord, you were in our place.

Speaker 1: And really, we deserve that punishment that you received.

Speaker 1: But it satisfied the father to bruise you on our behalf.

Speaker 1: And so we thank you for that, Lord.

Speaker 1: And we want to remember your body that was broken.

Speaker 1: and we want to partake now thanking you for being willing to do this, Lord,

Speaker 1: for the crown of thorns and the nails and the scourge

Speaker 1: and all those things you experienced in your body for our sake, Lord.

Speaker 1: So we remember the bread now, blessed it as we partake in Jesus' name.

Speaker 1: Amen, let's partake.

Speaker 1: And likewise, the fruit of the vine that he took and he blessed it,

Speaker 1: He offered it up, and we're going to bring it before the Lord.

Speaker 1: And Lord Jesus, we thank you for the blood that was shed.

Speaker 1: Lord, it truly washes us from our sin.

Speaker 1: And as Apostle Paul said, he preaches nothing but you and you crucified, Lord.

Speaker 1: And your blood poured down on the ground and ran down that cross, Lord, for our sakes.

Speaker 1: Lord, that we would be washed.

Speaker 1: And I just thank you for forgiving me for all.

Speaker 1: all the wicked things I've done in my life, Lord.

Speaker 1: And Lord, I pray that you'd fill us all with your Holy Spirit,

Speaker 1: that we wouldn't go there,

Speaker 1: that we would resist by the power of your Holy Spirit.

Speaker 1: And, Lord, that you would bless the cup as we partake, Lord.

Speaker 1: And remember your precious blood that was shed on our behalf.

Speaker 1: Bless the cup in Jesus' name.
