BE THANKFUL FOR mercy

Amen.

Give God the honor and the praise do him this morning.

Amen.

Without Him we are nothing and without Him we can

do nothing.

Amen. Amen. Let us focus on the Lord this morning. Amen.

Let us blot out all of our problems that we

claim to have. I said that we claim to have,

and let us blot those out in all our concerns

about what's going on in our daily lives. And let

us focus on God, because when we focus on God,

He's already focused on what we're going through in our

daily lives. Amen, because He already knows what we're going

to go through in.

Our daily lives. Amen. But let us also be always

prayer for one another. Amen.

Before we do, give God the honor and the glory today,

who is the head of our lives.

Amen.

We thank God for another opportunity to come together as

a church, to learn of His word and to hear

a word from Him today. Man, praying that those that

are not here this morning that they are well a

man in God is covering them. Amen, Praying that God

covers them and keeps them safe, because can't nobody do

it like Jesus. And when we can't be there, prayer

can Amen. So let us pray, Father, we thank you

for yet another privilege and opportunity to come to be

in such a holy God's presence. You think so much

of us, God that even our minds can't even understand

and why fully, but you do, and we're glad that

you do. If we never understand it, We're glad that

you do.

God.

We're glad that you love us. God, love us unconditionally.

We're glad God that nothing we can do to cause

you not to love us. We thank you, Lord for

all that you do for us. God, all that is

yet to be done and all that's yet to be

manifested when we get in position for what you have

already got for us. Thank you, Lord for always being

ahead of us. God, helping us, teaching us, covering us,

protecting us. I'm asking you this morning God, a special,

a special prayer, special coverage for brother Johnny. This morning, God,

in the name of Jesus, God, you touch his mind.

You know it's not all straight.

Father.

You God can give understanding to anyone, and it's my

prayer that you strengthen him in his hour in the

name of Jesus, and pray God that all the enemies

God that you shall handle those enemies, because vengeance is yours.

That said the Lord. That's what you said. God.

I'm asking you, as your servant to protect him God

and keep them. I'm asking you to strike down his

enemies in the name of Jesus. Strike down all those

that are coming against him in his ignorance. God, those

that are praying upon him because he couldn't can't think straight. God,

be his protector right now. In the name of Jesus.

I give your glory and honor, hallelujah and praise for

your actions.

God, make haste. God be quick about it. Father.

I'm asking you the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord

and Savior. Thank you for the Holy Spirit that will

teach us this morning.

Thank you Holy Spirit. Use me, God, use me as

your will.

I give over to you this morning, God, as always,

to teach your people. Open up their understanding this morning,

open up their eyes that they may see in their understanding,

that may understand because it is your will and all

I get and we get an understanding. Father, help us today,

help us and let it stick with us. God, let

it stick with us. Bring it up God in our

memory that we will make you and remembrance of your

word to us, not that you have forgotten anything, but

that we remember what you've spoken, and it will help

us in our trials and trivilations. It will help us. Lord,

Thank you, Father, Thank you for rebuking of the vow

for our sake. There's no place for you in this house.

The Lord rebuke you, Satan. Fill these temples with your spirit,

open up their understanding. Let the light come on God

illuminate it to its brightest in Jesus Holy name. I pray,

Thank God, Thank God, and the church say amen and amen,

Thank you Lord, Hallelujah, Thank you Jesus, Hallelujah.

Glory to God, Glory to God.

If you would quickly turn with me in the book

of One Timothy and the first chapter First Timothy, chapter one.

And verse twelve.

When you get there, say amen, Amen, Son, where's your bible?

I gave you a bible.

When you get there, say man, if you're still trying

to get there, and say, wait on me.

I won't for us to see this.

Because it's the truth of God, not the truth of me,

but the truth of God. And I'm gonna take a

little time with this because I want this to resonate

in our spirit.

Amen. Amen, are we ready? Amen?

And the Bible says in One Timothy chapter twelve. And

I think Christ Jesus, our Lord, who had enabled me

for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.

This is Paul, who was before a blasphema and a

prose prosecutor and injurious. But I obtained mercy. But I

obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief, and

the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant with faith

and love, which is in Christ Jesus. This is a

faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus

came into the world to save sinnerus.

Of whom I am chief.

I'm better than all you sinners. I'm a greater sinner

than all of y'all. How about for this cause I

obtained mercy that in me first Jesus Christ may show

forth all long suffering for a pattern to them which

should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting. Now unto

the King, external, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, the

honor and glory forever and ever look at him, praising

him now and unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the

only wise God, the honor and glory forever and ever.

Amen.

In other words, he said, do you agree man this

charge I commit unto these, son, Timothy, I'm charging you, Timothy.

He's commanding Timothy according to the prophecies which went before

on thee, that Thy may that Thy by them may

it war a good warfare holding faith and a good conscience,

which some, having put away concerning faith, have made shipwreck.

The of whom is Heilmanists and Alexander, whom I have

delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

So see I have delivered them under Satan. He signifying

that he has discommunicated them.

From the church.

Can the church saymen, we're gonna talk about today? And

with verse thirteen is where the thought comes from. Who

was before a blasphema talking about hisself, a persecutor, a injurius.

But I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

So we're talking about today. Be thankful for mercy. You

may be seated in the house of the Lord.

Paul.

In verse twelve, I think Christ Jesus, our Lord Paul,

here is thanking Jesus for providing all the ability, enablement

rather require.

For him so that.

He could fulfill his apostetic duties.

You see, it is God who.

Calls us in this ministry, not man. And a lot

of people have went that were not sent, and they

went on their own, but they were sent because they

was called.

Amen. And when he does, he gives us what we need.

When He sends us to accomplish the task he calls

us to do.

Amen.

And whatever mission that we may have, he enables us

to be able to do it.

Amen.

So when God calls us to do our mission, God

equips us for the mission.

Amen. And all of us are not called by the

same mission. Amen. But it's all for the same purpose. Amen.

It's all for the same purpose. So Paul is letting.

Us know he's thanking God for allowing him and putting

him into this ministry because he knew what he used

to be.

He just told us. But God had mercy, he says

in verse thirty. Who was before a blasphemer? He says, Paul.

Here reminds himself of his sins, but instead of letting

them overwhelm him and keep him down and from doing

what God called him to do. Like a lot of

people do. They let it hold him down. What they've

done overwhelm them. They don't feel no worthiness. Peter did

not feel worthy after the cop thrice, but God had

to encourage him to get up.

And dust itself off.

Hey man, So Paul here is let us know that

even though he did what he did, he not allowing

it to keep him from serving God to the best

of his ability. He overflowed with gratefulness that God had

considered him trustworthy.

You understand what I'm saying.

When God allows the trials and tribulations to come into

your life, God finds you worthy of the task. That's

hallelujah all day. I just say, Man found you worthy.

God found God found job worthy. Because in the Book

of Joe, he said, the sons of God all came together,

and Job came together. But God looked at Joe, not

the sons of God, but Jove and said, have.

You tried my servant job? Because he found him worthy

of the task.

Paul was grateful that God had considered him trustworthy and

had appointed him to.

Serve in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Of salvation through his fellow Jews and to the Gentiles.

Amen.

He obtained mercy for what he did in ignorance of

being an arch enemy.

He was an arch enemy of Christians.

And we can look at some of his accounts in

the Book of Acts chapter eight and verse three.

I'm gonna read, you can write it down. I'm not

gonna wait, but I'm gonna for you.

Acts. Chapter eight and verse three says that as for Saul,

he made havoc. As for Saul, he made havoc of

the church, entering into every house, every house and hauling

men and women, committing them to prison, says saying, hauling

them he was dragging him out of the house.

That's what he was doing.

In the Book of Gallations, we look at another account

of Pause in Galliations chapter one and verse thirteen, where

it says, and the other Jews dissembled likewise with him,

insomuch that barnom Beez also was carried away with this dismissillation.

And make sure I'm reading the right thing. I read

the wrong thing. Chapter one, verse thirteen. This is what

I was looking for, y'all excuse me, he says, for

he had heard that scripture I read to y'all was

where pet boy Paul rebuked his brother. Hey man, but

this is what we're getting to you, for ye have heard,

for you have heard of my conversations. In other words,

they heard about Paul's conduct back in the days. They

knew about his conduct because when he got saved, they

were kind of a little afraid. They was afraid of

him when he got to come and trying to preach

this word now because they remember how he used to

be persecuting the Christians. So he says, right here, for

you have heard of my conversation, which means my conduct,

but it was in time past in the Jewish religion.

How that beyond measure, beyond the measure that he was

supposed to do.

He went beyond that measure. I persecuted the Church of

God and wasted it. In other words, he tried to

destroy it. Are y'all hearing what I'm saying, Are y'all

listening to the words of the Word of God.

He was a person that was persecuting the church, dragging

the women and the men out of the house.

Trying to destroy it. This was Paul. This was Saul.

I'm sorry.

That was the saw Basaul had to die, so Paul

could come out and live because God already had purpose

for him. Because of his tenacity and his get up

and go and his dry it.

Was meant to be used for God.

So God had, as Paul said in verse thirteen, he

had mercy on me amen, and he believed what he

was doing sincerely.

He believed that he was serving God. And despite all

of his.

Knowledge that he got learning the Jewish laws and things

as a learned Pharisee, he remained ignorant of Jesus true identity.

After all that he learned from Goymella, who.

Was the top teacher minister that he learned from, he

still was ignorant of the identity of who he was

really persecuted. He was ignorant of Jesus true identity.

He was stubborn.

He stubbornly remained in unbelief until until until.

Somebody say, until he stayed in darkness. That's where he

was blind about what he was really doing, but eager

to do it.

With tenacity drive, believing that what he was doing was

us God uh huh, that what a man over there

in Utah married to women. He believed God told him

to do it. He got a shirt on. He said,

God told me to marry both of them. He had

a shirt on. They like the mother man over there

in Utah with them living in that building with fourteen wives,

and some of the wives are the daughters of the mothers.

He's married too.

He believed God told him to do it, blind, ignorant

like Paul. Like Saul was in darkness, unlearned. He was

stubborn and remained in unbelief until until until Jesus came

to Saul and renamed him Paul. When he yet was

setting out to capture more Christians. On his way to

capture and drag out more and persecute more Christians, he

was stopped on the road by his Lord and say, yet,

Jesus Christ, why thy persecuted me? He ain't say why

you're persecuting all them Christians? He said, why are you

persecuting me? See when somebody do something to you, they

ain't persecuting you. They persecuting Jesus because they are here

we go again. If you say he live in you,

that's who. That's who the devil's after.

He gonna persecute the Jesus and you.

And that's what Paul was doing to the Christians. He

was persecuting Jesus, while Jesus said, why thou persecuted me?

But yet there he was.

On the road to the sitting out to destroy more

capture them more Christians.

And offered uh. And he offered him grace and mercy

on that road. And then he after.

He offered him grace and mercy, he offered him a

new life. I'm gonna give you a new start in life.

We're gonna start this thing all over again. Ay man,

Some bads, you not realize when we say these words

with no death in our soul.

I'm a new creature in Christ.

I've been born again and not understanding the depth of

it all.

Literally, you starting over in life.

Christ at that moment became a baby.

Are you hearing what I'm saying?

Christ at that moment, not Christ, but Christ at that

moment caused Paul to become a baby. He was born again,

Not like Nicko demons talking about shit. I in the

end again to my mother, Well you can't get your

big head back up in there. Boy, there's a spiritual birth.

You gonna be born again. You become a baby. You

can be seventy years old, but you're a baby.

And here's what we miss it.

We try to talk to a new convert like he grown,

because he looked grown, because we're still looking at the outside.

The man seventy two years old. He no better than that,

now I don't. He's a baby.

He gotta have milk.

You can't shove steak down his throat. He ain't got

no teeth. He's still gumming it.

What he gonna choose it.

But again, like Paul said, now hold on, now, now

I've been you've been anything a long time. You got

all them teeth in your mouth. You need to take

that bottle at your mouth. You tearing up the rubber

nipple on that bottle. You got all thirty two up

in there, thirty six a half men, you got up

in there.

Time now to be eating some meat. So Paul, Saul.

Was given grace and mercy, and he became Paul. And

he was thankful for the mercy that God bestowed.

Up on him.

He said, And the grace because in fourteen said, and

the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundantly with faith

and love, which is in Christ Jesus. Like I was

saying this morning, you can't kill the love of God.

Look at all that he was doing.

He said in the scriptures that I was trying to

destroy the church.

I persecuted them, he said, beyond measure. They might have.

Told him, Now you go get him, put the cuff

on them, take him out, and put them in the paddywagon.

He went in the house, slammed him on the floor,

beat them all over the house, took a club to him,

stun guned him. He went beyond measure, and then drug

him at the house.

But God had mercy on him. He said, God showed

me grace.

Even though Paul had blaspheming Jesus and denied the Christian faith,

and he hated them.

Are you hearing me? He hated them, And.

Even though he did all of that and felt that

way about it, God still showed mercy to him. Still

showed mercy to him and filled him with faith.

And the love of Jesus. God supplied Paul. But Paul

had faith.

He had faith because he believed, and what he was

doing was for God.

In persecuting the Christians.

But God just turned it around for him and put

him on the right track.

Are you hearing what I'm saying? Opened up his blinded eyes.

Because even though he knew how to get where he

was going, he didn't know how to go to get

to where he needed to be because he was blind.

And God had purpose for him. That's why he had

mercy on him. That's why he showed him grace.

And that's how he filled him with the faith and

the love of Jesus Christ.

God supplied Paul with it.

He supplied Paul what he was lacking in abundance to

show him his kindness and grace and mercy. That's why

I said, we need to be thankful for his mercy.

Are you with me? The Bible says God shows us

all grace. It is his unmerited favor. Amen.

But mercy, oh, you better be thankful for mercy. You

don't hear what I'm saying, because the Bible says that

his mercy he don't get to everybody see.

You better be thankful for mercy. Mercy ain't auto matic

for you. You got to be thankful for the mercy

of God. Amen.

And Paul said, this is a faithful sin worthy of

all acceptation. That Christ Jesus came into the world to

save sinners of whom I am chief.

See, I'm a chief center, and God showed me that.

I'm so thankful for the mercy he showed me. I

was the chief center.

I was cutting up sideways, backwards, frontwards, up down all around.

God still show me mercy and grace.

See had to have given grace to even give him mercy.

A man, somebody, he said.

Paul said this truth, saying here it is non negotiable.

It's a non negotiable truth. We are not asked to

consider it. It's non negotiable. But we're not asked it,

he said. But well to fulfill, but to fully accept it.

We are invited to submit rather than question. You invited

to submit to it, not to question it.

It's hard to question.

Where had that the Lord show so much mercy to me.

I know where I used to be, he said, I

know what I used to be and what I used

to do.

You can't help what the question to do.

But we are invited to submit rather than questioning. This

is the truth and everyone should believe it.

Everyone.

Jesus Christ did come into the world. This is the

truth to save sinners. Yes he did. He came to

save us from sin. But truly that just means.

What he came for was to change the nature of us.

He came to change our nation, our nature, because we

had the nature of the enemy. So he came to

change our nature from a wicked nature to a righteous nature.

Hey man, because he had a sinful nature and he

wanted us changing to a righteous nature.

So he changed the nature of Paul.

It's a true saying that Jesus Christ did come to

save us from our nature of being sinners, not just.

To show us a better life. It wasn't just to

show us.

A better life or to challenge us to be better people,

because in our right mind we can be better people.

But that don't mean we save people. Amen. The man

in the Bible said, the Bible says that he cleaned

up his whole house. He got everything. It said, he

cleaned up his whole.

House, he got everything decent in in order.

He did that. Are you hearing me? But the Bible

says he missed a very important ingredient. After he cleaned up.

He didn't change the furniture in the house. He didn't

change the atmosphere in the house.

He didn't allow he didn't welcome in the holygos.

And since he didn't the enemy has a memory. So

he went back to where he came from. And then somebody.

That's why he said, this is a true sain. He

came to save us.

From a sinful nature, not just to make a better

life of a challenge, just to be better people. He

came to offer of salvation that leads to eternal life.

No matter how bad your sins have been. He came

to save you, amen, and only he can save you.

And then somebody.

He didn't come to condemn you. He ain't come to

bash you over your head, beat you down.

No.

This that when Adam sinned against God, he wasn't the

one that was deceived, but he sinned against God. The

woman was deceived, as the Bible tells us. But when

he sinned against God and God came again in the

cool of the day, he did not beat Adam over

the head with his sin.

He actually acted like he didn't know what's going on

with you?

Doctor.

He said, uh, why you hiding man? I mean looking

for you, and you hiden't. He said, yeah, he hid himself.

He said, why what you hiding for? Cause I was naked.

He'd been exposed.

Now, God said, man, who told you a niked who

told you were niggd?

See so here Paul, same way. All he said was

they persecuting me. He didn't beat him down. He gave

grace and mercy to him.

See, we wanna beat folks down when they get out

there and get that cutting up and acting food.

You know you supposed to be saved.

You know that you supposed to be a mini s

there now ain't not supposed to be. You can fall short,

You steal who God called you to be. If God

called you, ay man, and he's called every one of us.

So it really ain't no if to it.

It's if you have accepted the call. That's the if,

and it's fullners.

Some people have accepted it, but they're holding on to

a little bit of it and holding on to a

little bit of what it used to be, not realizing

you ain't even holding onto a little bit of the call,

and you just holding on everything used to be.

Cause see that's where the enemy fools you make. You

think you in, but you out. You ain't got nothing,

think you got something. He's a deceiver. Hey man, tresta

thank you brother. Somebody they called him man. He ceafully

wicked with power, you're what I'm saying.

But it's Paul's testimony to all of us that this

is a true statement.

It's not even negotiable that.

Jesus Christ came to save us, and that's the mercy

he showed Paul, and he was thankful for that mercy.

Hey mess Abod, Paul says the habit for this cause

in verse sixteen, I obtain mercy for what cause? For

the cause of salvation. He obtained mercy that in me. First,

he said, Jesus Christ might show forth all long suffering

for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on

him to life everlasting.

Paul was saying, I obtained.

Mercy for this reason, that in my case, as the

worst sinner, that Christ Jesus might demonstrate the fullness of

patience as an example for those about to believe on

him for eternal life.

Paul says, I'm an example. Why am I that example?

Because I am considering myself as a chief sinner.

If he gave me mercy, you stand a chance.

If he gave mercy to me, the chief center, you

stand a chance for this plan of salvation.

Don't let the enemy tell you so bad that you ain't.

No earthly good because God don't see it that way.

There's a chance if you just accept this grace and mercy.

Paul didn't try to deny it.

He accepted it right away when Jesus Christ knocked him down.

See See.

It's an example of where we gotta be sometimes knocked

down in the dusk before we can realize the reality

of our life.

And which way we're going. So Paul said, obtain mercy

for this.

Reason and for this cause only because I was the

worst center that Christ might He demonstrated fully through.

Me the patience he can have for you. Paul's conversation

encourages other sinners.

Since Christ is already saved the worst center a man, this,

I'll encourage you. Since he's not already saved the worst center,

he can save those less sinful, if there was such

a thing as less sinful.

Amen.

All he's saying is, no matter how bad you think

you've been, God got you. God can do it if

you let him.

If you want it.

But you gotta want it. And when you do want it,

you gotta be like Paul. You gotta have a maid

of mind and a maid of heart. But you ain't

gonna get it unless you got a maid of mind

and a maid of heart. Hey man, somebody, Jesus Christ

came to this zealous persecutor. He was zealous about what

he was doing, hey man, not striking him with judgment.

He asked him a question, as some might expect, Man.

Why you ain't you don't judge him and lay into him.

What he did was he offered him mercy, hey man.

So Paul, looking back, he says, he realized that Jesus

had great patience.

Come on, you, Nick, come on man.

You. Paul knew how he told was chief center. He

knew how terrible he was. So he had to realize

that this mercy that he has for me had to

come with great patience. God has great patience for us.

But don't you ever believe it won't run out. But

he has great patience. It takes a lot, as a

matter of fact, it takes the act of God for

to run out.

But he had great patience with him. And Paul, see,

Paul realized.

That's another thing, that he had great patience with him.

He had great patience in dealing with him, because Jesus

offered Jesus offers us.

Mercy Amen, So we too can come to him, just

like he offered it to Paul. Amen.

So we should believe in him and receive forgiveness and

eternal life. One Timothy chapter four, Chapter one, I mean

first Timoty chapter four and twelve tells us, let no

man despite thy youth, Let no man despise thy youth.

In other words, don't let nobody look down on you,

hey man.

But be that an example of the believers.

In word in word, in word in conversation, meaning in conduct,

in charity, which is in love, in spirit, in faith,

and curity.

This is what Paul is saying. This is what we

have to exemplify. Amen. And he says this, how long.

Till I come give attendance to reading? How many of

y'all giving the tendancy reading till you come back here

again to exhortation and to doctrine, in other words, to teaching,

teaching of the truth of God.

Neglect not the gift that is in THEE.

He's talking to Timothy, but he's also talking to us,

which was given THEE by prophecy. See I was given prophecy,

but I neglected the gift until I wanted to accept

the gift. And now now I've accepted the gift God

has poured into me, has raised it up and enlightened it. Amen, somebody,

and now that pours out of me a man, because

he says, neglect not the gift that is in thee.

Every one of us have a gift in us, which

was given Thee by prophecy with the laying on of

the hands of the presbitarian, which is the counsel of elders.

Amen.

And he says, meta, take up on these things, give

them thyself holy to them.

Mmm, give thyself holy unto them.

In other words, he's not talking about holier than thou.

He's talking about giving, he's not talking about being. When

he says, here to take heed unto their wait well,

neglect not to get meditated on these things. Okay, we

did that, take heed into thyself and unto thy doctrine.

But here in fifteen he says, meditate upon these things.

Give thyself holy to them, which means not a little bit.

He's saying, give yourself entirely unto these things, your whole self. See,

that's the problem with a lot of folks today. In

the in the House of God, the saints of God.

They're not giving their self.

Holy unto him, which means you're holding back on God.

You're not giving yourself entirely up to him because there's

still some things you are considering that you want to

do and how.

But you always say God's in control. How's he in

control if you haven't given yourself holy under him.

God can only control it if you give yourself entirely

unto Him.

If I'm holding the stern will and you're holding the

stering will, we're in trouble. You might want to go

that way. I might want to go that way. That's

called a wreck.

So give yourself holy to them, that they profiting may

appear to all.

In other words, when you've given.

Yourself holy unto all the ordnance of God and the

commandments of God, that it may be profitable for those

watching you, that it may appear to all.

Of them, that's who you really are. See. And I'm

not bringing this up to bash nobody.

I ain't gonna missing the name, but gonna say the

preacher that was shot at the at the Bond and Grille,

if he had been keeping all of that holy unto them,

he would not be dead today.

Because, first of all, he wouldn't have been there.

And then the perception is not good of with all

of them or talking about about him. Hey man, But

when we give ourselves, as Paul has said here, it

would profit if we would give ourselves all to him,

meaning keeping everything he commands us to be in our conversation.

What is our conversation? Our conversation is our condom, duck.

And when the outside looks at our conduct, they can't

see nothing but the light.

Shining of Jesus Christ on the inside. Ay man.

So it tells us take heed unto thyself. So you

gotta take heed to yourself. Could looking at everybody else,

take heed to yourself?

You mad at them? You should be mad at you

take heed to your own.

Self, especially when you're taking heed to somebody else about

something they did and you ain't thought about the bed

you done.

Did take heed to your own self? The scripture says,

take heed.

To thy unto thyself, and until the doctrine continue in them,

for in doing this thy shall vote save thyself and

them that hear thee see when you take heed to

your own conversation, your own conduct, making sure that the

qualifications that you're filling out are those of your Lord

and savior, Jesus Christ. He said, thy shall save thyself,

and not only that, thy shall also save thyself.

And them that hear thee. Ain't nobody listening to you.

You're acting a food, You acting a fool, and you

telling them Jesus.

Your Lord and savior.

You know what I'm saying, and he can save your soul. Well,

you claiming Jesus your lord, and say when does he

gonna save your soul? You telling me to do right?

When you gonna stop smoking? Telling me quit smoking? When

you're gonna quit running around trying trying to catch a man?

Are trying to catch a woman? You're trying to tell

me quit running around where you're man at? Tell me

how to run my house and how to treat my wife?

Where your wife at, where your husband at?

See you ain't you got to project that everything you're
