Saint John, chapter three and verse sixteen. Amen, chapter three
-
and verse sixteen. When you get there, say man, Amen,
-
the word of God this morning for the people of God.
-
In the Book of Saint John, chapter three and verse sixteen,
-
it says, for God soul loved the world that he
-
gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him
-
should not perish, but have everlasting in life. For God
-
sent not his son into the world to condemn the world,
-
but that the world through him might be saved. Can
-
you say, man, you may be seated in the House
-
of the Lord. We're gonna talk today about is God
-
love in us? Is God's love in us? And I
-
know that the love of God is in us? But
-
is it in us all the time? I should the
-
better question be, although the love of God is in us,
-
are we using it at all times? Because sometimes we
-
may choose to use it when it's applicable, when it's easy,
-
when it's a casual, when it's again, I say, when
-
it's easy to use, But do we use it when
-
it's hard? Because when it's hard is when it really
-
tells the love of God in you? Amen? Because in
-
this dispensation of time. I don't have to tell nobody
-
in here, nobody just listening that the problem in the
-
world today and yesterday is the love of God is
-
not in the world, and it's hard even to find
-
it in the believer because the believer has not perfected
-
it like they should, because they don't practice it on
-
a daily basis, so that it becomes a part of them.
-
You say you got Jesus, you saying you got love.
-
But love comes with practice, and believe you me, you
-
gonna get some tests you can practice on you, right, Amen,
-
somebody you see, God's character through his spirit comes to
-
sharpen us and progressively dominate us. Amen. If you don't
-
let the spirit of God dominate you, then that's where
-
you're gonna be found fallible in your love. Amen. So
-
it's got to sharpen you and dominate you. Amen. The
-
character of the believer, This is the character of the believer. Amen,
-
So that the character of God imparts in us the
-
will to love, because a whole lot of people have
-
a desire to love, but it don't connect to the will. Amen.
-
Until that desire becomes a will. It's just something that
-
you was going to do but never got around to doing.
-
Jesus is the only begotten son of God, and the
-
uniqueness of this relationship is that we became the children
-
of God. We became the children of God, whereas Jesus
-
always was the son of God. Hey man, there's a
-
song I'm pretty sure you'all familiar with it says it's
-
like a sweet perfume. I pulled my love all over
-
you at least looking at me with her hand. I
-
know you know the song. You don't know that song
-
like a sweet perfume, I pulled my love all over you.
-
How many y'all know their song? Well, that's one of
-
the verses. I know what that song been sung in
-
this ministry before. Where I got it from? Like a
-
sweet perfume. I that's not the title. That's one of
-
the verses. Let's talk about love. Love was one of
-
the things that attacked me viciously when I got saved,
-
and continues to attack me. As a matter of fact,
-
most of the things that I ministered on Wait before
-
this ministry were things concerning the love of God. As
-
a matter of fact, this sermon I ministered at least
-
three times in this ministry. But every time God gives
-
me something different in it to give to you, Amen.
-
But when we come to understand love God, we quote
-
this little brief saying God is love without understanding, like
-
a lot of scriptures we without understanding. But when we
-
think about love, love is Love is both an attribute
-
of God and a description of God. It's not just
-
an attribute of God, it is who he is. It's
-
his very description. You can't even say love without saying Jesus,
-
because you don't even say Jesus. But when you say love,
-
you're saying Jesus. And when you say Jesus, you're saying love. Now,
-
this is the number one love, not of the five loves.
-
Is the O God they love. When you say Jesus,
-
you're saying the O God they love of God, not
-
that stingy love, and not the mariagal love, and not
-
the little lust for love. But I'm talking about the
-
gop they love. When you say Jesus, it's an attribute
-
of God as well as a description of who God is.
-
Hey man, and God alone is the epitome of the
-
value and love alone. He is, Amen. I want to
-
hit you in in your heart today. He's not only
-
the epitome of it, he is the very source of
-
all true love. Love comes and He's the source of it,
-
That's where it comes from. His love is unconditional. His
-
love is consistently seeking the highest good of the one
-
who is loved by him. It seeks the highest God's
-
love to all of us that know and understand. Was
-
clearly shown, amen, clearly shown, clearly demonstrated at Calvary when
-
Jesus died for all our sins. Jesus died because he
-
felt like it was something he just wanted to do. No,
-
Jesus died because of what he knew, and what he
-
knew was that he loved us so much. If he
-
didn't die for us, we would all die and go
-
to Hell. And he just didn't die for you and me.
-
But the saved because he died for us before we
-
even got saved. And the reason why he died was
-
because we were not saved. It's so many things. Jesus
-
died because he loved us so much and he wanted
-
us to get back in the right relationship with God.
-
And in the status that we were in, we could
-
not God couldn't even look at us. But when Jesus
-
took sin up on him on the cross, laid his
-
head in the locks of his chest and gave up
-
the ghost. It was finished. Sin was finished. This was
-
the true sign of how much God loves us. This
-
was the true sign of how much God loved us.
-
In the book the First John, round about the fourth chapter,
-
it tells us First John, chapter four and verse eleven
-
tells us beloved. If God so loved us, we are
-
there also to love one another. See it's not an
-
if to it. God loves us. And since God loves us,
-
he says we are to also to love one another.
-
No man had seen God. If we love one another,
-
God dwell in us. I'm gonna read that again because
-
some people believe the kind of love they got is
-
the God love. No man has seen God at any time.
-
If we love one another, God dwelt in us, and
-
His love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that
-
we dwell in Him and he in us, because He
-
had given us of his spirit. And we have seen
-
and do testify that the Father sent the Son to
-
be the savior of the world. Whoever shall confess that
-
Jesus is the son of God, God dwelleth in him
-
and he in God. And we have known and believe
-
the love that God had to us. See, it ain't
-
like we don't know it. It ain't like we don't
-
believe it. I know sometime when things happen, the tragedy
-
come upon us, we may try to have a pity party, say,
-
God must don't love me, he allowed this to happen
-
to me. Well, you got to think about this. If
-
that tragedy came upon it and you live through it,
-
God must love you. Hey man, God is love, and
-
he that dwelleth in love. Dwelleth in God and God
-
in Him. Wherein is our love made perfect? That we
-
may have boldness in the day of judgment, Because as
-
He is, so are we in this world. See, if
-
the love of God is dwelling in us and the
-
love in God, if the love of God is dwelling
-
in us, that's dwelling in him. We do have the
-
boldness at the end of time to know we know,
-
ain't no doubt of matter. We can run, jump, scream
-
in how I'm going to be with the Father. We
-
can say it with the boldness because God, because of
-
the love that dwells in, because of the love that
-
dwells in us, dwells in God. Hey man, we will
-
have the boldness on judgment and the fact that the
-
fact that the love of God dwells in us, and
-
we know that God loves us. Verse eighteen says there
-
is no fear in love, but perfect love casts it
-
our fear perfect love, because fear hath torment. He that
-
fear is not made perfect in love. See, when you
-
know God loves you and you love God, you know
-
the love of God is gonna protect you no matter
-
what happens. God gonna bring you through it. We love
-
him because he first love us. If a man say
-
I love God, won't y'all listen real good now? If
-
a man say I love God. If a man saved
-
I love God and hated his brother, he is a liar.
-
For he that loveth not his brother, whom he had seen.
-
How can he love God whom he had not seen.
-
And this commandment have we from him, that he who
-
loveth God love his brother. Also this commandment we have
-
from him him who God, that who loved God, I
-
love his brother love God. Also, So all the scriptures
-
really saying there's no way you can love God if
-
you don't love your brother. I don't care what your mouth,
-
say head, tell your brain, tell you God said, you
-
ain't no way you can love me. If you hate
-
your brother, you can tell me you love me all day.
-
But if you hate your brother, I you just sound
-
like Charlie what's his name A Charlie Brown's teacher for
-
a wapp. That's what you sound like to God talking
-
about you love him, but you hate your brother. You
-
sound like Charlie Brown's teacher. Because the love of God
-
is what cause him to do what he did. That
-
he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believeth in him,
-
whosoever believeth in him, it don't make no different what
-
color you are. It's whosoever believeth in him. It don't
-
make no different what size you are. It don't make
-
no difference how much money you got, how smart you
-
think you are, how less money you may have. It's
-
that whosoever hey man believe it on him should not perish,
-
but have everlasting life. You see, I was prejudice, and
-
I was privy to be in this situation. Prejudice. When
-
we think about prejudice, we think about white people being
-
prejudiced towards Negroes are Negroes being prejudiced towards white people,
-
are towards Japanese or Chinese, what other other race? There
-
is a man somebody, but there are people of the
-
same race that are prejudice of one another. And I'm
-
saying that to say this, they're prejudice because of the
-
skin color of an individual, because you got some light
-
skinned Negroes, prejudice against dark skinned brethren, and dark skinned brethren,
-
prejudice against light skinned brothers and sisters. Now I was
-
in counters because I'm not gonna even tell you what
-
that man called me. Yeah, I'm gonna tell you what
-
he called me because of his ignorance, which he thought
-
he had wisdom and history behind what he was talking about.
-
But man's wisdom. Of of course, God says his foolishness to him.
-
But anyway, after this conversation, God began to deal with
-
me in the spirit, and it says, hmm, that's pretty powerful.
-
Not that I doubt, not that I've never known that,
-
because I have. But the thing that God was showing
-
me was again God was showing me, is that God
-
don't see color. God sees souls see God don't see color.
-
He sees souls, and what God loves is the soul.
-
So God loves everybody. That's why he says that whosoever
-
loved him should love his brother. And his brother ain't
-
just somebody of the same color of you. I know
-
that the negroes walking around and call what's up? Brother?
-
As soon as you hear somebody of the Caucasian persuasion
-
said you looking at him like that's something you ain't
-
supposed to be saved or don't sound right, come out
-
your mind. That's because what society has taught you. But
-
if you listen to what God says, everybody that saves
-
sanctified and filled with the Holy ghost, white, green, purple
-
red a brother. And because of society thinking you have
-
a problem loving other races, but that's something wrong with
-
the love of God in your heart if you do.
-
Because he's said so. He said, how you can you
-
say you love me that you've never seen, but hate
-
your brother, who you see every day. God said, that's impossible.
-
No matter what your mind tell you, it's impossible for
-
you to love God God and you don't love your brother.
-
It's impossible. See, we got to understand. The entire gospel
-
comes to a focus. In this verse, God's love is
-
not just to a certain group of people. It's not.
-
It is offered to the whole world. If they think
-
people live on Mars, it's offer to them too, because
-
he's a god of all, He's a god of all creation.
-
See and see, we gotta kind of love that sometime
-
can be stagnated. You instead, I'm saying, list you know,
-
sometimes sometimes that kind of that love we got it
-
takes a little push to move it. But see that
-
ain't how God's love is his love. See, the love
-
of God is not motionless, our self centered. It's always moving,
-
never stopping. And it and as it moves forth and
-
flow through the earth, it reaches out and draws others in.
-
God has a drawing love. It does not push people
-
away because here in his verse, God's actions define the
-
pattern of true love. In John three sixteen, it's the
-
pattern of true love that God gave his own living.
-
See Insteed, I had to make it. See see it
-
had to be written like that because we might have,
-
in our little minds be able to understand that He
-
had twelve sons and gave one up for us. But
-
it says his only forgotten sons the only one that
-
came from him, the only one he had in the
-
whole world. He gave him up for us. See, he
-
had to put it like that because we went and
-
not thought it was so great where he had to
-
get eleven mo sons. I mean a big deal. But
-
even with eleven most sons it's still a big deal.
-
But we had He had to put it like that
-
for our little little you know, our little minds to
-
try to figure things out and try to make satisfied
-
a thing, you know, like you know, like the scientists
-
always trying to prove the miracles of God can be explained.
-
They come up with all this stuff. Oh, the only
-
reason that they could walk across the Red Sea because
-
that particular time of the year, the particular place in
-
the Red Sea is only three feet tall. Well, you
-
just made God even greater because he drowned horses and
-
the army men and three feet of water. You ain't prove,
-
you ain't proved not, but made him even more greater
-
and even more of a miracle. Mm hmm. John three sixteen.
-
The actions of God in that verse defines the pattern
-
of true love. It is the basis for all love relationships.
-
For all love relationships. You know how that you call
-
that person your friend, that's a relationship. You know how
-
you know you you call that person that worked for you,
-
that's a relationship. You know how you call that person
-
you work for that's a relationship. Mm hm. When you
-
love someone, you are willing to sacrifice. Because God loved us,
-
he was willing to sacrifice. We are to do the
-
same thing because of the same love that He had
-
when he did it. We should have the same love
-
to do it sacrificial love. Also, it's practical in seeking
-
ways to meet the needs of those who I loved.
-
It's not selfish trying to help the out today because
-
the love of God has dwindled in the house of God. See,
-
because when you love God, you won't be putting up
-
with all this foolishness in his house. When you love God,
-
you won't be trying to rob the people of God.
-
And when you love God, you will have the deserning wisdom.
-
Of God not to be robbed, because the love of
-
God drives the descernment of God and wisdom of God.
-
Amen. Somebody well. In God's case, that love was to
-
set out to rescue those who had no hope of
-
being rescued or rescuing themselves. That's what God love does.
-
It goes out, it's not motionless. It continues to move
-
when it comes to bid it or he's there, and
-
move around him and going around to Johnny. Oh he
-
needs me, Bam, hitting Johnny is it's hitting Johnny is
-
still moving. I don't stay with Johnny. It keeps rolling. Amen.
-
Because his love is seeking them to rescue who can't
-
rescue themselves and can't nobody else rescue you but God.
-
Because God is the only one that paid Dilly to
-
save us. He gave his only son. The highest price
-
he could pay was nothing higher. And this payment is
-
offered to everyone who believes. Amen. And to believe is
-
more than just intellectual Amen. It's just it's more than
-
an intellectual belief like people say, I believe in Jesus Christ.
-
It's more than an intellectual belief that the belief is
-
a motivating motion belief. Amen. It's more than just an
-
intellectual agreement that Jesus is God. It means putting our
-
trust and confidence. When you believe, you'll put your trust
-
and your confidence in it, Amen, that he alone can
-
save us. It is also putting Jesus in charge of
-
our plans and our destiny. Believing is trusting his word
-
as reliable and relying on him for power to change. Amen.
-
We want to believe some of his word, but not
-
all of his word. That's not belief. Amen. With God,
-
you either believe all of it or you don't believe
-
none of it. There's no halfway belief with God. Halfway
-
means you don't believe it. Bottom line, you can't be
-
a little pregnant. You can't be a little pregnant. Nick.
-
You either pregnant, I here not pregnant. You either believe
-
God or you don't believe God. You either trust God
-
or you don't trust God. Hey man, somebody, you either
-
rely on the world or you don't rely on the word.
-
I heard a preacher said, we can leave all that
-
out of there. He was talking about holy community and
-
or we don't have to read that part. We can
-
leave all that out. I was dealing with a brother
-
from out of town who called me and said, let
-
me ask you something. I said, you can't leave nothing
-
now concerning God if it concerns God, I said, why
-
would your pastor say something like that? You can't leave
-
nothing out There's another brother I talked to in another
-
state that said, well, he starts talking. He said, well,
-
hold on, let's just leave God out of this and
-
look at it like this. And then I would say,
-
and he's a pastor, and I said, well, I can't
-
leave God out of nothing. Well, let's just leave God
-
out of this and look at it this way. I
-
can only look at things the way God look at things,
-
because I've always got to look through the eyes of Jesus,
-
because I got the mind of Christ. How can I
-
look at it any other way? Brother, I gotta look
-
at it God's way, because the love of God in
-
me is going to cause me to do so dangerous
-
words speaking to me. Jesus accepted our punishment and paid
-
the price for our sins so that we would not perish,
-
so that we would not spend eternity apart from God,
-
because sin separates you from God. And because he loved
-
us so much, he came so he would give us
-
the power to change our sin nature, because we all
-
had that sin nature before Jesus went to the cross,
-
hey man, So he came to change that nature so
-
that we would not spend eternity apart from God. Those
-
who received the eternal life with God are those who believe.
-
So you see, if it were not for the love
-
of God, we would not make it into heaven. It's
-
the love of God the reason why we have the
-
chance and opportunity to make it into heaven. But somebody say, but,
-
somebody say, but, but God's love alone is not enough.
-
Somebody say that's not enough. We too have to show
-
our love for him, because without his love in us,
-
we still won't make it. And how do we show
-
him the love that he's imparted in us. I'm so
-
glad you asked. I just can't tell it to you.
-
I got to tell you how God say he has
-
to be shown to him. So God talks to us
-
and tells us. In the book of First John and
-
chapter three, he tells us, this is how you show him.
-
He says here in John First John, chapter three, verse eleven.
-
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning.
-
This is how you heard this from the beginning, that
-
we should love one another, not as Cain, who was
-
of the wicked one and slew his brother, and the
-
workforce slew he him because his own works were evil
-
and his brother's righteous but God says, mather or not,
-
my brethren, if the world hate you, we know that
-
we have passed from death unto light because we love
-
the brethren. You don't pass from death to light when
-
you come, continue and become a lover of the brethren.
-
He that loveth not his brother, abided in death and darkness.
-
Hey man, who's whoever hated his brother is a murderer
-
as well, That's what the Bible said. You don't just
-
have to shoot and staff and beat somebody to death.
-
The Bible said, whoever hate his brother is a murderer.
-
And you know that no murderer, You know it hath
-
ended life abiding in him, eternal life, abiding in him.
-
Whereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid
-
down his life for us, and we ought to lay
-
down our lives for the brethren. It didn't say we
-
gotta lay down our life for God said, we are
-
lay down our life for the brother. Because when we
-
lay down our life for the brother, and we are
-
laying our life down for God. Hey man, but whoso
-
had this world's good m it's for the greedy people
-
claiming they love and see it's his brother. Have need
-
and shut up his bowels of compassion from his brother.
-
How dwell it the love of God in him? How,
-
my little children, let us not love in word, neither
-
in tongue, just run in your mouth. But let us
-
do it indeed and in truth. And hereby we know
-
that we are of the truth, and shall assure our
-
hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God
-
is greater than our heart, and know it all things,
-
which means God knows it's your heart is trying to
-
condemn you. He knows the intent of your heart. He
-
knows the intent of what you were doing. Even if
-
your own heart tries to condemn you, He knows the
-
content of your heart. He knows the purity of your heart.
-
Because some people are trying to make you feel guilty,
-
and you begin to condemn yourself. But God knows the
-
intent of your heart. Beloved, If our heart condemns us not,
-
then we have then we confidence towards God. Then we
-
have confidence towards God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive
-
of him because we keep his commandments and do these
-
things that are pleasing in his sight. And why do
-
we do these things that are pleasing in his sight?
-
Because we love him? That's the only reason. But Cain,
-
the Bible says, who was of the wicked one? That
-
wicked one is the Bible's talking about. Refers to the
-
child of the devil. You see, Cain was of the
-
devil's child. How do you how can you say that?
-
People tell me, all the time passed, we all cha
-
God's children. Well, let's look at verse nine in one
-
John and three. Whosoever is born of God, do it
-
not commit sin? For his seed remaineth in him, as
-
God sees, and he cannot sin because he is born
-
of God. But in this the children of God, I'm manifested,
-
and the children of the devil. So the children of
-
the devil, I'm manifested. In verse nine. Also the children
-
of God are manifested. In what ch Verse nine says
-
and says, whosoever do it not the righteousness? It's not
-
of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. So
-
in this the children of God are manifested. And the
-
ch of the who of who? Well, that kind of
-
tells me. I don't know about you. My understanding was
-
God's wisdom that we ain't all God's children. Because this
-
Bible just said and and the children which means somebody else,
-
the children of the devil. Amen. So Cain killed Abel
-
because uh, the conflict of the loyalty, and the conflict
-
of the loyalty was the Kings was to the Satan,
-
and Abel's was to God. Cain's loyalty was to the devil,
-
and Abel's loydy was to God. And it was it
-
was seen by the respective actions that both of them
-
had Amen. You see, John was saying, if hear me, good, Now,
-
if Cain could see that a man's character is revealed ultimately,
-
not in what he says he believes, but but in
-
what he does. So should not Christians be able to
-
see this as well? Are we blind to this? Kingsart
-
As God's children, we must must be loving. Yet many
-
fail to love as God's children. Too often in the
-
ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ today there is
-
a deep dislike among the Christians. Look. I take Melvin's
-
South for instance. He got on he was in a convocation,
-
and he was stood behind the poor pit and begin
-
to walk back and forth and said, I said, shut
-
the doors, Christians, my little thing up here, you understand,
-
trying to you execute that man? All over social media,
-
Why would you do that? And then some of them
-
were lying on the man, if not all of them.
-
I was supposed to persecute one another. The Bible said,
-
We're supposed to go to them in secret and take
-
a witness to try to gain our brother. But now
-
these soul called Christians, they must have already had a
-
dislike for Melvin SOPs of Marvin Sobs. Because many churches
-
synagongues today are the people in their struggle with issues
-
that divide the members. And I'm gonna tell you some
-
Christ is not divided. The love of Jesus Christ was
-
so intense going in the going to the cross, because
-
there was gonna be a turning away. There was gonna
-
be for h a for a micro second that the
-
Father was gonna turn away. See that love of God
-
was so powerful. He had to do what he had
-
to do. But Jesus understood they meant somebody. He knew
-
that the Father still loved him, but he had to
-
do what he had to do for us. And because
-
what he had to take home. Hey man, all ministries,
-
somebody say, all need to work on love and harmony.
-
Because Jesus wanted his followers to be unified as a
-
powerful witness to the reality of God's love, a powerful
-
witness to the reality, cause it's already there, but as
-
a if we become a unified group. See, it's when
-
we come to the temple that we're really called the
-
church and men somebody because it's a gathering of all
-
of the saints. And then we'll call the church. And
-
when we come together in unity, just like they did
-
when they were praying in the temple, praying, and they
-
had one mind, one prayer, one heart to do, and
-
they prayed so loud that those posts of the temple
-
shook because of the unity they had and the prayer
-
they were praying. One mind. You get people up here praying,
-
it happens. Trust me, I'm trying to pray for somebody,
-
and they looking at it and hanging on work. They
-
stand up a wait for prayer, they sell. They may
-
be sitting back there. I don't know what they going
-
up there for. You got to have here. When you
-
see somebody coming up herayer, you gotta be praising God,
-
not thinking about some negative crop. That was a young
-
man where I was away. Every time they had ought
-
to call in the chapel, he would run up to
-
the altar, had time every time this listen every time.
-
And then there was a brother who thought more of
-
hisself than he ought to. That's that same brother calling
-
you caut clinic to real Christian. And I heard him
-
say it. Man. As a matter of fact, I think
-
he kind of reached for him when he was coming
-
up to the to the altar. That that once. That once,
-
that one day, I don't know, it was sunny, because
-
they have a minute they have uh, they have meeting
-
every day. He say, there's a difference between being there
-
and being out here. They have it on Sunday and
-
maybe one day through the week, and there seven days
-
a week. So he running coming up there and he
-
tried to almost grab me then, but I heard him say,
-
cut running up there, man. Every time we have all
-
the car And when I had a chance, I pulled
-
him to the side and I said to him, I said,
-
let me tell you something. I said, every time you
-
feel you need to go up here, you better get
-
up earn on that art. Don't listen to him, and
-
then I can have some words for him. I said,
-
every time you he can't tell you where you were at.
-
And God, every time you believe you need to get
-
to that altar. You better get the truck in like
-
you've been doing well. Let nobody stop you from that
-
altar death, because the love of God is compelling you
-
to get up there and get it right, whatever it is. See,
-
that wasn't the love of God compelling him, and that
-
wasn't a love for your brother either. Jesus wants the unity.
-
It gives us power, and it gives us witness to
-
the reality of God's love in all Christians, not some.
-
All Christians should help to unify their ministry, how pastor okay,
-
in case you don't know, by praying for the ministry. No, yeah,
-
they pray for the ministry, but for praying for one another.
-
Because this building can't do nothing but house us, and
-
it can't even house us unless we come in it.
-
So it's by praying for one another and not talking
-
about each other, avoiding gossip, building one building one another up,
-
working together instead of against each other. Work together. We
-
don't work against each other, We work together. Some people
-
can do things better than you can do accept it.
-
And you can do things better than some other people.
-
Accept that. But that's the way God made it. Why
-
so that we can learn from one another. That's how
-
we become helpless one to another. Okay, we shall work
-
together instead of against each other. And that's what's going
-
on in a lot of ministons. It's a lot of
-
working against one another. While you always let them sing,
-
He always singing, while you always getting up there trying
-
to sing a song, while you always holler up in
-
the past. Why are you worried about all that? Your
-
focus is off. Your love has diminished if it was
-
ever there. All that there mean some wrong with your love.
-
That's not your concern. We should always build one another
-
up and work together instead of against each other. And
-
by giving our time, okay, y'all, this is gonna hurt
-
you and money. And by exalting Christ and refusing to
-
get involved in foolishness. See we read in our Lesson
-
and Proverbs, which is a book of wisdom. We read
-
that a child of God avoids foolishness because why because
-
of the wisdom of God in them. Amen. So we
-
ought to avoid foolishness at all costs. Jesus paid an
-
awesome price for our sins. We ought to be able
-
to avoid foolishness, and we could at least appreciate him
-
by showing O B to him and loving one another
-
as he loves us. What you gonna at least appreciate
-
Jesus by loving one another as He loves us. See,
-
even though you might hate a person, guess what, Jesus
-
loves him. Are you hearing me? Just because you will
-
hate him? You know how you got your partner with you?
-
When you hate somebody, you want your patterner to hate
-
him too. Some's wrong with you? Oh yeah, y'all know
-
I'm telling the truth. Why you talking to her? You
-
know I can't stand at Heffel You all up in
-
her faith? Now you're mad that you cotty. But that
-
same person you hate God loves And how can you
-
say you love God if you hate him and God
-
love him? Some wrong? Are y'all hearing the bells ringing?
-
Jesus holding across for you and me out of love,
-
and not just out of love, but out of obedience,
-
because obe out of obedience to God. But the love
-
is what drew all, what drove the obedience of him
-
to do it? See, the love drove the obedience. It
-
was out of love, but obedience the obedience was there.
-
But the love is what drove it, ay man. He
-
took a beating that we should have. He took a
-
beating that we should have. So I have to say this, y'all.
-
I got to say, how dare we not love one another?
-
After all he did for us? How dare us not
-
love one another? I say this again, Just because you
-
hate him don't mean God hate him. He love him.
-
And I say this again, if God love him the
-
one you hate, then how is the love of God
-
in you? So if you hate him but God love him,
-
then you don't love God. I don't care what your
-
mind tell you. This was the book tell me and
-
this book is the truth. Hey man, So how in
-
the world can we dare not love one another? After
-
all Jesus Christ did for us. We didn't even know him,
-
but he still loved us. We didn't even love him,
-
we didn't even consider him, but he still took our
-
beating and hung on that cross so that we could
-
live and not die. If it was not for the
-
love of God, where would we be? Everybody know that answer?
-
That no truth that knows truth. Because the nails didn't
-
keep him on the cross. Love did amen. So if
-
we love him, we will keep his commandments. Amen. See
-
I'm keeping saying amen, because when you say it too,
-
that means you agreeing with what I'm saying. Y'A. Don't
-
want a trick. Y'all want you to know what you're saying.
-
So if we love him, we will keep his commandments. Amen.
-
And love is the commandment that helps us keep them all. Amen. Amen,
-
give God a hand, clapp and praise. Amen. Amen. Without love,
-
it's impossible for us to please God. Without love. It's impossible,
-
you know what I love is even impossible for you
-
to even love yourself. Yeah, I'm talking about true love.
-
Cause see in some people that say they love they self,
-
but yet they smoking all this dope that could kill 'em.
-
There's people to say they love themself drinking all this alcohol.
-
They could take them out and kill the living everything else.
-
But they say they love they self and they in
-
rotten relationships, but they love theyself. Hey, man, they say
-
they love theyself, but they put theyself in danger. I'd
-
have to ask, that must be foolish love. I should
-
I say, I'd have to say, not ask, that's foolish love.
-
How can you say you love me, God says, and
-
hate your brother? How can he said, how. He wanna
-
know how. See, he knows how. He just wants you
-
to try to understand how you can do it. How
-
can you say you love me, who you've never seen,
-
and hate your brother, who you see every day? He said,
-
how the how is for you? Amen? Amen, let us
-
stand
