Amen. Amen.
-
Amen, thank God for another day. We're here, God, we're
-
here today.
-
Amen. Is that on? That? Turn it on? Amen, Praise
-
the Lord. We're here to give God the glory, the
-
praise and the honor do unto him. Amen. Thank you Jesus,
-
he's in the house. He is in the house. Amen. Amen.
-
Let us pray. Father. We want to thank you for
-
another day. God. Thank you Lord in the name of Jesus.
-
For we come this morning God with humble hearts and
-
bow down heads. We come God, humble before the throne
-
of grace. And we come in the of Jesus, for
-
there is no other way, for he is the door
-
to the kingdom. We thank you for Jesus Christ today, God,
-
that he shed his blood that we may live and
-
not die. We couldn't have done it, probably wouldn't have
-
done it.
-
But he did it. He was obedient to the cross.
-
So we hear today because of him, to give him
-
glory and to give praise to you God, and give
-
you God aniration. We thank you, Lord for all you've
-
done for us. Have you blessed us this morning to
-
get up, to wake up, to get up, to dress ourselves,
-
and to have a mind to come and serve you today.
-
God.
-
So we hear today God, not for shure, not for noe,
-
not for performance, but to hear word from you Lord
-
that will help us in this salvational walk. Thank you, God,
-
that you care and love us so much. We thank
-
you for your word. It's about to go forth yet
-
again to fill us, to overflow him that will help us,
-
that will rebuke us, that will build us up, and
-
that we may be able to walk right in Thy sight.
-
In Jesus' holy name, we thank you for rebuking the
-
enemy confusion. And in all I get in this morning,
-
we'll get an understanding of your word God that will
-
help us in the salvation and walk. In Jesus' name,
-
I pray, thank God. Amen an Amen. Let us go
-
to the book of Matthews. Amen, Matthews the seventh chapter. Matthews,
-
the seventh chapter. When you get there, Samen few pages
-
still turning. Matthews Chapter seven, starting at verse thirteen.
-
But first let me ask, Let me ask, amen, would
-
you all agree that the word of God is the
-
will of God?
-
Would you agree with me that the Bible is God's will?
-
Amen?
-
So you agree with me that the Bible? Well, what
-
you're really agreeing with to is the Bible?
-
Not with me. I'm just agreeing with it. And are
-
you agree with me? Like Paul said, follow me as
-
I follow Christ?
-
So you would agree with me that the Bible, the
-
Bible is God's will.
-
Amen? Let me get that. Amen. If you don't believe it,
-
don't say amen. Amen. So we agree that the Bible
-
is God's will? Right? Amen? So let us read Matthew
-
chapter seven. Starting in verse thirteen.
-
It says, in a ye end at the straight gate,
-
the narrow gate, the straight gate, the narrow gate. For
-
why is the gate, and broad is the way that
-
lead it to destruction? And many there be which go
-
in thereat There gonna be a whole lot of people
-
going in going into the wide gate, the broad gate.
-
Why fourteen? Because straight is the gate, and narrow is
-
the way which lead it unto life, and few there
-
be that find it. So it's saying in verse fourteen,
-
how narrow is the gate.
-
And narrow is the way? So difficult This word.
-
Here in fourteen that says narrow means difficult, are confined,
-
But thirteen talking about how wide this thing is.
-
There's two different gates. A man.
-
So there's two ways that the listener can choose to go.
-
But there there in contrast to one another. One's going
-
to lead you to destruction and one's going to lead
-
you to life.
-
But guess what the choice is ours?
-
And this would you agree with me that this is
-
the will of God? Verse fifteen, Beware of false prophets
-
which come to you in sheep's clothing, But annuardly they
-
are raving wolves.
-
Ye shall know them? Are you hearing this?
-
So I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with people
-
today in the ministry, because God, this is Jesus speaking,
-
And if Jesus said it, then it must be.
-
So it has to be.
-
So he said, he said, ye shall know them about
-
the fruits? Do men gather grapes of thorns? Are figs
-
our thistles?
-
Do these sisters? Since the lane? Is it any thorns
-
on a grape vine?
-
Is there any thistles on a grape vine? So if
-
it's they got thorns and thistles, it must not be
-
a grape vine. So you gonna know them about the fruit.
-
It says you should know them by the fruits? Do
-
men gather grapes of thorns? Figs of thistles. And so
-
every good tree, every good tree, bring it forth good fruit.
-
But a corrupt tree bring it forth evil fruit. A
-
corrupt tree ain't gonna bring none of bad fruit. A
-
good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit.
-
It can't do it. Neither can a corrupt tree bring
-
forth good fruit. That's the opposite of one another.
-
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hend
-
down and cast into the fire. You know what the
-
tree is, right, The tree is me and you, And
-
you know what the fire is, don't you.
-
I ain't gotta explain that.
-
So if you have a tree that bring it forth
-
good fruit, so every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit,
-
gonna be hend down and cast into the fire. Wherefore
-
by the fruits, wherefore by their fruits. I just want
-
to emphasize on that ye shall know them. Not everyone
-
that said unto me, Lord Lord, shall enter into the
-
Kingdom of heaven, but he which but he that doeth
-
the will of my Father, which is in heaven. Now
-
see in verse twenty two, it says, many will say
-
to me in that day, what day the deay of judgment,
-
And this is what they gonna say, Lord Lord.
-
Have we not prophesied in thy name? Have we not
-
prophesied in thy name?
-
And in thy name have cast out devils or demons?
-
And in thy name done many wonderful works, are many miracles.
-
But I want you to understand.
-
Verse twenty two is with them telling they came to
-
Jesus pleading, are you with me?
-
This is a plead, Lord Lord? Have we not prophesied
-
in the name Lord? They make it a plead to Jesus.
-
But Jesus turned to them and said, and when and
-
then will I profess unto thee? And then will I
-
profess unto them? I never knew you?
-
Who is to them? Them? That says Lord Lord? Have
-
we not prophesied in thy name.
-
And cast out demons and devils, and done miracles and wonders?
-
And Jesus said, He's gonna turn them and professor them.
-
I never knew you. I never knew you. Depart from me, ye,
-
workers of iniquity. Jesus here is letting you know that
-
not everyone.
-
That's professing Christ is generally saved. Get a whold lot
-
of people out there professing Christ. But he said, all
-
of them, may say professing me.
-
Let him fool you. Now see what he's.
-
Trying to say, is see this outward verbal acknowledgment of
-
his lordship that they're claiming, Lord Lord, didn't we do this?
-
And that he said that in himself is not enough
-
to save the unbeliever. It has to be true repentance.
-
It's not enough to save the believer. It has to
-
be true repentance. And with that repentance must be faith.
-
How you with me, it must be faith accompanying that
-
true repentance.
-
Because generally and genuine.
-
Save people are ones that do it the will of
-
the Father. Didn't y'all just agree with me a few
-
minutes ago that the Bible is God's will?
-
Huh?
-
So generally those that do the will of the Father
-
are those that's gonna be saved, hey man. And those
-
that are doing the will of the Father, those that
-
those that are continually living in obedience of the will
-
of God as a normal Somebody say normal, are normal.
-
Somebody say normal course of life that you're living. It's normal.
-
So let us understand, maybe seated in the house of
-
the Lord, that God's will and only God's will will.
-
Get you in to heaven. You see this is this is,
-
this is what's going on. In this day and time.
-
I want you to listen.
-
I wish everybody was here this morning. Jesus, I don't
-
know why, God, God.
-
Know what he's doing.
-
Though, you gotta understand that the Bible must be, not
-
should be, not maybe, but the Bible must be.
-
Our only authority in religion.
-
If we want to please God and go to heaven,
-
the Bible. Listen to me good today. I'm not gonna
-
be long before you're gonna look God. God gonna do
-
what he's doing, and gonna He's gonna give you what
-
he got for you today and give me what he
-
gave y'all, and we're gonna get out of here.
-
But the Bible must be the only authority in religion.
-
If we want to go to heaven, and if we
-
want to please God, people must give up all the
-
various false doctrines that progate, that propagate the many different
-
kinds of denominations and go back to only the Bible.
-
There are no denominations. Are you with me in the
-
New Testament times? And there would be none today? If
-
only the Bible was taught and practice, there would be
-
only one Lord's one true church. It is the Church
-
of Christ, only one there's only one true church, is
-
the Church of Christ. It's not denomination if we would
-
just go back to Bible. The Bible is the will
-
of God, and we must be found doing what the
-
will of God.
-
And the only way we can do the will of
-
God if we know what the will of God is.
-
And the only way we're gonna know that is if
-
we get the Bible.
-
So how then do we make sure that we are
-
among the few who are saved and not among the
-
many who are lost.
-
How we gonna make sure that.
-
What Jesus said in Matthew chapter twenty one, chapter seven,
-
verse twenty one to twenty three, he said, not every
-
one who says to me, Lord Lord, shall enter the
-
Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of
-
my Father. This is how we make sure that we're
-
actually doing the will of the Father. Not with men say,
-
not the way you think it shall be done, but
-
what the will of God says. Because he said many
-
in that day, we'll say, Lord Lord, have we not
-
prophesied in your name. Not only have we prophesied, we've cast.
-
Our demons in your name. We've done many wonders and
-
many miracles in your name.
-
And then will Jesus declare to them, I never knew you,
-
But you would think.
-
Like they think.
-
Today, that they're doing the will of God, but they're
-
really doing their own will, not understanding it's not God's will.
-
But they really believe they're doing God's will because they've
-
been doing it so long in denominational understanding and rules
-
and regulations.
-
They believe they're doing God's will.
-
But God's gonna say to them, He's gonna declare to them,
-
I never knew you.
-
Depart from me.
-
You who work lawlessness are iniquity. If you believe and
-
call Jesus lord lord, you are still lost if you
-
do not do what God says.
-
Can I say that again, thank you.
-
If you believe and call Jesus lord lord, and you
-
are still lost if you do not do what God says,
-
If you are not obeying God, we are practicing lawlessness.
-
Ain't no two ways about it.
-
If we ever hope to go to heaven, and we
-
know our hope is in Jesus Christ, so we hope
-
to go, we must do the will of the Father.
-
This is the only way. Not the will of men,
-
but God's will, not our own will, but God's will.
-
Just because we call Jesus our lord. This will not
-
save us. Jesus says in the scriptures that I read
-
to you that on the day of judgment that many
-
will be pleading with him, calling him Lord Lord, and
-
reminding him of the many wonderful folk works that they
-
had done in his name on the day of judgment.
-
But he will say, unto them, I never knew you
-
apart from me, you who practice lawlessness. You know, that's
-
the worst thing that anybody could say to you.
-
I don't care what people have said to you. If
-
you sixty seventy.
-
Years old today, if you five years old, you're twenty
-
something years old, thirty something. The worst thing that you
-
could ever hear is Jesus tell you, I don't care
-
if people call.
-
You names all out your name.
-
Cuts you out, talk about you, tell you bad things.
-
This is the worst thing you could ever hear in
-
your ears. This is the worst thing you could ever hear.
-
Is the part from me. You work of iniquity.
-
Why you ask why? Because they had not done the
-
will of the Father.
-
That's why God said depart for me, because you have
-
not done his will. And they were saying, Lord Lord,
-
why did he tell them to depart from me. Why
-
because they had not done the will of the Father
-
in heaven.
-
They were doing their own will.
-
Yeah, they was doing their own will, casting out demons,
-
they were doing their own will, praying for folks. They
-
were doing their own will, doing miracles. The one that
-
they was doing their own will. They wasn't doing the
-
will of the Father in heaven. But they thought they
-
had been doing that will. But they hadn't. They had
-
done their own will or the will of some man.
-
That's the will they were doing. They wasn't doing the
-
will of the Father. And I said, this will be
-
the worst thing that will ever be said to any
-
individual when the Lord on judgment day says to you.
-
The majority of people, majority of.
-
People, the park, the park gone a wait for me.
-
I never knew you.
-
And guess what it's not like if you get convicted
-
at court, there will be no appeal to this decision.
-
There will be will.
-
I'm gonna appeal this in appelate court. He's the appellate court,
-
he's the state court.
-
He's a federal court.
-
And when he makes that decision, ain't nobody else to
-
turn to. You cannot appeal this decision there will be
-
no second chance.
-
We have to get it right the first time.
-
The people in the above, in the scriptures that I
-
just read about, and even today in this dispensation of time,
-
they seem to be honest, But they were honest mistaken
-
as the majority.
-
Of people today they're mistaken.
-
They're preaching stuff and teaching stuff in the house of God.
-
That's not the will of God.
-
They're teaching people how to be prosperous rich. The prosperity
-
of God is peace and joy and love. That's the
-
prosperity of God. Jesus never taught anyone how to be
-
rich in nothing but holiness?
-
Is it? If that's true, why they tell the rich man.
-
To leave all that he got, all his riches and
-
come follow me? He will letting them know, man, it
-
ain't about what you've got, It's about what I got.
-
That you need.
-
Just like the people in the scription. The people today
-
are the same way. But guess what. Apparently they were
-
good people, but good people ain't going to heaven. Holy
-
people going to heaven.
-
That's who's going to heaven.
-
Because Jesus said they think they're good, but he's gonna
-
tell them to part from him. You know why because
-
even when they told him good nights, mas Jesus said itself,
-
there's nothing good, nothing but the Father.
-
I didn't call you the goodness. I called you the holiness.
-
See that's the will of God, not being good, being holy.
-
See, we ain't gonna make it unless.
-
We're doing the will of God. And you, he's a
-
good man. He ain't gonna make it the heaven. He
-
need to be a holy man.
-
He ain't called us to being good. He called us
-
to be in holy.
-
And just because people have undone many miracles and wonders
-
and cast out demons that don't mean nothing to him,
-
he calls you the holiness because doing all that, they
-
still hadn't done the will of God, which is in heaven.
-
It's his will that must be done.
-
Don't we say, let your will be done.
-
We're talking about God in heaven.
-
We ain't talking about the pastor the apostle or the
-
prophet of a bishop.
-
We talking about God's be done.
-
Because God's will is the only will that will get
-
you in.
-
Man's will ain't gonna get you in. Your will ain't
-
gonna get you in. Only God's will will get you in.
-
So we must be found doing the will of God
-
to get into heavens as.
-
Many people.
-
In the House of God that generally want to do
-
things their own way.
-
And don't really care what God thinks.
-
We cannot obey God without doing what God says to do.
-
You can't obey God unless you're doing what God says
-
to do. You can't obey God doing your own thing.
-
You can't obey God do do what a man tells
-
you to do. The only way you can obey God
-
is doing what God says, and what God says to
-
do when God says to do it, how God says
-
to do it, and for the reason God says to
-
do it. Amen, It's God's way. We have to do
-
what God says to do, how God says to do it,
-
and for the reason God says to do it. Nothing
-
somebody say nothing, somebody say nothing is more important than
-
pleasing God by doing his will so that we can
-
go to heaven.
-
We learn from the scriptures that.
-
We don't go to heaven by doing the will of men,
-
are by doing what we.
-
Think is right.
-
Because the scripture says there's a way that seems right
-
to a man. Therefore, are the ways of death the
-
only way we can go to Heaven is by doing
-
the will of Father, and that will is found.
-
Only in the Bible. That will is only found in
-
the Bible.
-
Do we really know what the will of the Father
-
is so that we can be sure of going to heaven?
-
Do we? This is important?
-
This is too important a matter to assume.
-
That we do, or to take someone else's word for it.
-
It's too important.
-
Do we really know what the Bible says that God
-
wants us to do in order to be saved? Do
-
we really know what must I do to be saved?
-
This is a very important question. Many people would have
-
answer this question in many different ways. The many different
-
denominations give you many different and conflicting answers. I've heard
-
one heaven say there are many paths to Jesus. There
-
ain't but one path to Jesus. I've heard he don
-
say this, but there's only one path.
-
Only God's way is correct.
-
I heard a person say, once I die, my spirit
-
can ask God to forgive me.
-
No, that's not the will of God. That's foolishness.
-
The Bible is the only reliable source.
-
We can go to for our answer. Are you with me?
-
And since it is. It's just our soul. It's just
-
our soul that we're gonna lose if we don't. I'm
-
just saying it a big deal.
-
It's just our.
-
Soul that will be lost if we follow man's advice.
-
Yeah, big deal, sisters, brothers, ain't no big deal. It's
-
just your soul.
-
It's just the most important, most most thing that's most
-
valuable in the whole world that you're gonna lose listening
-
to what man's advice tells you to do. We must
-
understand that our obedience to Christ is very serious. It's
-
a very serious decision, and we must not be taken
-
it likely a man.
-
It must be on the Lord's.
-
Terms, as laid out in the scriptures, and not on
-
our terms. We've already seen what the Lord says in
-
the Book of Matthews chapter seven, thirteen through twenty three.
-
We've heard it. I just spoke it.
-
Only a few will be saved and many will be lost.
-
Only a few will be saved, and many will be lost. See,
-
only a few will be saved. That's the reason why
-
the scripture says that the straight gate is narrow in
-
its way, but the the other gate that leads to
-
destruction is wide and broad because there is only one way.
-
I like to say this. I believe.
-
That you can go to hell any kind of way.
-
That's why it's broad. If you can come up with
-
something else evil, it'll widen just that much more for you.
-
If you come up with something even much more, you
-
wide and even that much more for you.
-
But I believe there's only one way to get to heaven,
-
and that's why narrow is the way.
-
It is not gonna move for you.
-
Because there's only one way to get there. Narrow is
-
the way, and it's not gonna move for you. Only
-
those who do the will of the Father can go
-
to heaven. Hey man, only those Jesus said it that
-
those that do the will of my Father are my brother, sister,
-
and mother. That means he's your daddy. If you're not
-
doing it his way, you know, kin to him. In
-
the Book of First John, chapter two and verse four,
-
he says he who says I know him, he who
-
says I know him and does not keep his commandments.
-
Jesus says he's a liar, and the truth is not
-
in him. A liarh is a pretty strong statement to
-
make about somebody but a person is lying to himself
-
because you ain't lying to God. You can skip around
-
here being as cute as you want to be. You
-
can skip around her feeding the needy and the greedy.
-
You can skip around here giving clothes to the homeless.
-
You can skip.
-
Around here going out on missions and delivering folks, and
-
I mean preaching the folks and and and and and
-
causing miracles and wonders. But if you're doing your own
-
will and your own way, you still gonna hear depart
-
from me, you a liar.
-
From our lord, and say that it ain't gonna be me.
-
So don't try to hide.
-
Nothing from the preacher, because most of them trying to
-
hide something from you. But you're not hiding anything from him,
-
because he sees all.
-
He don't care where you are. He see all, he
-
sees all, misses nothing. That's why a person.
-
That's claiming he knowing but don't keep his commanding is
-
a liar. And he's only lying to himself. You ain't
-
lying to me, You ain't lying to God. You lying
-
to yourself and yourself. And you're lie gonna take you
-
to hell. And see, here's another thing. Can haller in
-
people talking about I love the Lord. I love the
-
Lord because he first loved me.
-
I love the Lord because he said me free. You're
-
a liar because you ain't trying to keep his commandments.
-
Everyone else who says he knows and loves God but
-
does not keep his commandments. We know one thing that
-
a liar cannot go to heaven. Won't be no liars
-
in heaven because you know why.
-
It won't be no liars in heaven because lion is
-
a sin. And you know God hates a liar.
-
God says to him, a liar is just like a homosexual.
-
It's an abomination. What he said.
-
He says six things I hate and seven is an abomination.
-
And out of the seven things that he speaks about,
-
two of 'em is talking about a lying and a liar.
-
So I'm gonna conclude with this man gonna be I
-
told you, I'm gonna be for you long hear me good.
-
In this conclusion, we I ain't say you, I said
-
we That mean me too, must do all of God's will,
-
all of God's will, so that we can go to heaven.
-
There is no other way Church, there is no other
-
way but doing all of the will of God. No
-
single condition that God imposes can be ignored.
-
None can be ignored. Well, how can you do it?
-
Live over here? You? God even ain't He ain't got
-
concerned about all that? Yeah is?
-
Yeah is cause you know what, there is no little condition.
-
Everything is big with God. Well, all I did was
-
still a piece of bubble gum. It's not the will
-
of God you stole, and it's not God's will for
-
you to steal.
-
It may be a little thing to you, but when
-
you wake.
-
Up and find yourself in hell, you'll find out that's
-
still in that bubble gum.
-
And didn't repent from it was a big deal.
-
Everything God imposes can't not be ignored. God has no
-
non essential commands. When we don't obey a command of God,
-
we have just broken it. Many people think that God
-
will save them no matter if they And you know
-
the funny thing about that is there is a church
-
that's out here, and I believe it's in Memphis.
-
They believe that you can. They believe it.
-
You can be a homosexual, you can do you can
-
be a liar, you can be and do whatever you
-
want to do, and you still gonna go to heaven.
-
They believe that it's a church here in Memphis out east.
-
But when you don't obey God's command, the command of God,
-
we just broken it. But they believe they can break the.
-
Commandments and still can do it. That's why you hear
-
me today say. Many people think that God will save
-
them no matter if they follow God's specific instructions on
-
what they must do to be saved or not.
-
They believe they're still going to heaven. That ain't with
-
this book, say.
-
I don't know where they're reading from or who's teaching
-
it to them, but that ain't what this book say.
-
So I ask you again, what then is God's will
-
so that we can go to heaven and not have
-
to endure eternal punishment forever and ever. We will find
-
the answer of God's will. You know where you find
-
this will at We will find the answer in the Bible.
-
You want to go to.
-
Heaven, then you must do God's will. You want to
-
go to heaven, then you must do God's will. Amend,
-
Give God a handclap of praise.
-
Amen.
-
And this really was this message here was really the
-
conclusion of the Sermon on the Mound that Jesus preached
-
to all the thousands This was a conclusion of it.
-
Doing God's will is the only thing that will get
-
you in to heaven.
-
This was his conclusion. Amen. Amen, you got some praise. Hallelujah,
-
Thank you Jesus.
