  1. The Lord. Praise his Holy name.

  2. Can you hear me? You hear me?

  3. Deep, praise the Lord. The Lord is good. Praise his

  4. Holy Name. We're excited about God this morning.

  5. Amen.

  6. Not a day that I don't see the disturbance in

  7. the House of God. But we're here today to give

  8. God the glory because everything works hand in hand.

  9. He Man. We thank God.

  10. Today who is ahead of our lives, thanking and praising

  11. Him for his Holy Word, Thanking him for his holiness

  12. in the name of Jesus. Oh, he is an awesome God.

  13. Amen. Because of Him that we have our being. Amen.

  14. In spite of what's going on today, we are still

  15. instructed to live a life holy unto God.

  16. Amen.

  17. There is no other d direction. Everybody's coming up with

  18. new stuff. It's nothing new, not in the Word of God.

  19. It might look a little different, but it's still the same.

  20. Amen.

  21. Somebody Amen, Amen, thanking God for bringing me back safely.

  22. A man had a birth date while I was gone.

  23. Thank God for another birthdate. I was explaining to somebody,

  24. you know that back in the days, I didn't celebrate

  25. my birthdate. But I came to understand since I've been

  26. in ministry, how precious. A birth date is I celebrated

  27. everybody else's d but not mine. And of course there's

  28. some other things behind that. But nevertheless, I come to

  29. learn that it's very precious for anyone to make it

  30. to another birth date. I call it the birth date

  31. because it was the date you were born. The birth

  32. day was the day you came out. That's the day

  33. you were born. But the birth date just represents the

  34. date you were born a man.

  35. So every year we meet.

  36. The birth date, the birth day was the day you

  37. were born. The birth date represents every year God's given

  38. you a whole new year, a whole new year. That's

  39. a long time. That's three hundred and sixty six, a

  40. three hundred and sixty five days. Y'all gotta let me finished.

  41. Leap year gives us another day. I would get into

  42. the leap year, but I won't. There's a spirituality.

  43. Behind that day. Amen.

  44. But when we think about it, Amen, I'm gonna talk

  45. to you today, man, and a little I'm gonna talk

  46. to you and teach today.

  47. And I don't know the Holy Spirit lead and.

  48. God us and all that we do it, man, but

  49. I thank God for.

  50. A whole nother year.

  51. Some babies are born and die. Some babies are born

  52. and live several years, three, four, five years and die.

  53. But to make it to a whole birthday at this

  54. year of my life. Amen, As I was discussing with

  55. somebody on the other day, most folks ain't making it

  56. to Some folks ain't making it to nine and ten,

  57. nine and ten days, nonetheless nine and ten years, because

  58. the youth has no direction for the most part.

  59. But nevertheless, we're here.

  60. Today, man, thanking in praising God for yet another day,

  61. thanking in praising God for another opportunity in life. Amen,

  62. let us pray, Father, we thank you God for this day.

  63. Thank you for blessing it for us. Thank You for

  64. waking us up and helping us to get up. Thank

  65. You for a mine that's souber God, a mind that

  66. is on you, Lord, a mind that brought us here today, God,

  67. to give you the glory, to learn of you, to

  68. give you praise, to fellowship with one another. Truly, it

  69. is a blessing to be able to see one another

  70. again if we haven't seen them all week. But God,

  71. we thank you in the name of Jesus Christ. We

  72. thank you for your word that leads in gods, and

  73. for your Holy Spirit that ministers to us on a

  74. daily basis, that teaches us all things. Thank you, Lord,

  75. Thank you, thank you, Thank your Lord. If I had

  76. ten thousand tons, it wouldn't be enough to thank your

  77. Lord for all that you do and all that you've done.

  78. In the name of Jesus.

  79. Thank you for rebuking the Divira for our sake and

  80. keeping us safe.

  81. Lord.

  82. Thank you God for giving us a mind to remove

  83. ourself from all evil presents and all evil things, that

  84. we may stand upright before THEE God even now, if

  85. we've done anything God said, anything acted in any way,

  86. spoke anything forgive us. We come with repentive hearts, become

  87. humble before THEE God and lowly.

  88. Because God, we need.

  89. We need to come right in Thy presence for Thy blessings,

  90. and we need Thy blessing.

  91. We need you God.

  92. We need you more than we've ever needed you in

  93. this day and time. We need you more God than

  94. our minds can even can even fathom.

  95. Father.

  96. We go about our days sometime we don't even think

  97. about Your God, but we know we need you. We

  98. ask God that you even forgive us of that and

  99. forgive us God for even not trusting you the way

  100. we should forgive us God for our unfaithfulness. God, in

  101. the name of Jesus, we're not always faithful to thee,

  102. but you're always faithful to us, never changing. God, help

  103. us to hold on to your never changing hands. Unchanging

  104. are your hands God, They don't change, They stay the same.

  105. But we want to thank Your Lord today, and we

  106. want to find.

  107. Out where we are today.

  108. God, And you're gonna minister to us today bout of

  109. your holy spirit. You're gonna let us know who we

  110. are and you in where we stand. And we ask

  111. God that you always do that, that we be attentive

  112. to that and help us stay on the straight and narrow.

  113. And it is in Jesus name we pray. Thank God,

  114. Amen and Amen. The Bible says in the Book of Matthews,

  115. chapter one, We're gonna be talking about what describes you

  116. to God?

  117. What describes you to God?

  118. This this ain't this ain't no mirror that you're letting

  119. somebody else look in. This is a mirror you looking in.

  120. What describes you to God? Matthew five, starting a verse one.

  121. This passes the scripture. The twelve verses talks about the

  122. Sermon on the Mound, which we have identified as the beautitudes.

  123. Amen.

  124. So when we look at this, Amen, you may be

  125. seated in the House of the Lord.

  126. The question here today astually.

  127. The two questions are first the title what describes.

  128. You to God? And only you know? Amen.

  129. People can look at you and get a description of

  130. anything they want to, but they don't see your heart

  131. like God do.

  132. Amen. God sees your heart.

  133. So God has the description of your heart, and that's

  134. what describes him to you.

  135. Amen.

  136. So the question other questions, if you looked in the mirror,

  137. what do you look like to you? And then what

  138. does God see? So when you look in the mirror,

  139. what do you look.

  140. Like to you?

  141. And then what does God see? And let me throw

  142. this in here. If you both don't see the same thing,

  143. only what God see is right.

  144. Amen. So let's look at this.

  145. In the fifth chapter of Matthews and seeing the Multitudes,

  146. there's a whole lot of folks there. This is talking

  147. about Jesus and seeing the multitude. He went up into

  148. a mountain, and when he was set, his disciples came

  149. into him.

  150. So what Jesus did he went up into the mountain.

  151. It was a multitude of people, so he had to

  152. go up high so they could see him. He also

  153. had to go up because the wisdom of Jesus lets

  154. him know. When he gets up high enough into the mountain,

  155. when he began to speak, it is he got his

  156. own personal microphone amen, which means it magnifies his voice

  157. so that everybody can sit here. And when he did

  158. get up there, the Bible says, he stood behind his

  159. pool pity he began to teach.

  160. No, I didn't say that.

  161. It said, he sat down.

  162. This Jesus, he's our example.

  163. We do what he do. We can do what he do.

  164. So when he got up in the mountain with the

  165. multitude of people, he sat down. He was seated and

  166. began to minister to the multitude the people. And he

  167. opened his mouth and taught them saying, Notice. The Bible

  168. says he opened his mouth and began to preach to

  169. all of them.

  170. Passes know.

  171. It said he opened his mouth and taught them, saying,

  172. talk them. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs

  173. is the Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn,

  174. for they shall be confronted. Blessed are the meek, for

  175. they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are they which do

  176. hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

  177. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed

  178. are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

  179. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the

  180. children of God. Are the son of God, sons of God.

  181. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake, for

  182. righteousness sake, for theirs is the.

  183. Kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye.

  184. When men shall rep you and persecute you, and shall

  185. say all manner of evil against you, you that's falsely

  186. for my sake, rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great

  187. is your reward in heaven. For so persecuted they the

  188. prophets which were before you. Now notice in these verses

  189. Jesus is speaking first of all. And Jesus says, in

  190. every one of these scriptures from one through Chian eleven, brother,

  191. he said, blessed are they? Blessed are they so and

  192. knowlice the they in the scriptures blessed. Blessed are the poor.

  193. Blessed are they that mourn? Blessed are they? For blessed

  194. are the meek? There are different categories of people that

  195. these blessed, And when he said blessed to they behind

  196. all of that, there's a different blessing. And for them

  197. that are in the different categories blessed other meet for

  198. what for they shall inherit?

  199. The artis blessed? Are the poor in heart? Are the

  200. poor spirit?

  201. For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  202. Everyone that Jesus spoke about concerning their status had a

  203. blessing that was different from the others.

  204. Amen. So the question is what describes you to God?

  205. Are you the meet? Are you the poor spirit? Are

  206. you that those that hunger and thirst after righteousness? Where

  207. do you stand? Where did he see you? At a man?

  208. You don't want to want to know?

  209. You could be more.

  210. You could be several of these categories. Not necessary that

  211. you just one of them. You could be all of them.

  212. Amen.

  213. There's a fivefold ministry.

  214. Prophets and teachers and preachers and apostles is a fivefold

  215. and evangelists is a fivefold ministry.

  216. Some folks hold all all sad some don't hold them all.

  217. Now you could be a You could be characterized in

  218. each and every one of these. But let's find out, aymen.

  219. So when Jesus got up there and he sat down

  220. his opening statement, his opening statement, when he began to.

  221. Speak, he was dealing with.

  222. Listen good.

  223. He wasn't looking out there at the crowd, looking at

  224. those that were skinny, some that were fat, some that

  225. were medium, some that were pretty, something looked so good,

  226. some that had long her had shot her. He wasn't

  227. looking at that when he looked out to the crowd

  228. when he made his statement, his statement represented the inner

  229. state of mind and the heart of each and every.

  230. Individual in there, not out of appearance.

  231. So when Jesus opened his statement, he's dealing with the

  232. inner state of mind and heart of a true Christian,

  233. a true disciple, and the discipleship of each and individual,

  234. and the character and the conduct of the true believer.

  235. Let me say all that again, because right now we're

  236. mirroring Amen, ourselves, and I hope those that are listening

  237. a memory are mirroring their own selves, calling theyselves Christians.

  238. Because what we're living in now, we fin to find

  239. out if what you see in the mirror is Jesus,

  240. are the character of Jesus rather Amen?

  241. So Jesus said, he's dealing with.

  242. The true heart.

  243. The true heart of a true Christian, a true.

  244. Disciple is in discipleship and the character and conduct of

  245. true believer. It is the way a Christian lives. Amen,

  246. that's what he's dealing with. The way of the world,

  247. the way of the world, or somebody say the way

  248. of the world contradicts.

  249. God's way of living.

  250. Is the church hearing me on social media? I hope

  251. they're hearing me, because their character is not the character

  252. of God. It contradicts the way of God in the

  253. things that they're doing in ministries all over this country.

  254. The way of the world contradicts God's way of living.

  255. God's way of.

  256. Living is not the same as the way the world lives.

  257. It's a contradictory. So let's see Jesus he said, bless it.

  258. What does that mean? Happy? They're happy? Blessed?

  259. Happy because this is the inner condition of the believer

  260. as a result of the.

  261. Work of God.

  262. Hey, man, they happy?

  263. Why because God has worked on them? Why because they

  264. have let God work on them? How because they've been

  265. in God's word? Howth and they've manifested His word in

  266. their own character and begin to look like Jesus. I

  267. ain't said it was Jesus. The character begin to look

  268. like Jesus'.

  269. Character a man.

  270. Let us make man in our image and then our

  271. likeness in the character of God. So blessed, And let's

  272. understand the beauty twos first and foremost. Okay, this ain't

  273. somebody trying to get somewhere. Okay, this ain't somebody trying

  274. to get somewhere. Then the beauty two is jenuine. Jesus

  275. talking about the beauty twos don't show a man how

  276. to be saved, but rather describe the characteristics of one

  277. who has been saved.

  278. Are we there? Huh?

  279. He telling you how to be saved.

  280. It's describing the character rick as of an individual who's

  281. already saved.

  282. So the poor in spirit of the opposite of the

  283. prior and the haughty.

  284. They humbly depend on God to save them.

  285. That's the poor in spirit they I mean they broke,

  286. busted and disgusted in the physical.

  287. Aren't even in the spirit? That means that they are.

  288. Their spirit is humble to God, able to be in

  289. contact with God at all times. Why because of the

  290. humility and the humbleness of them towards the Father, because

  291. if there's no pride pushing them, Amen, they humble their

  292. depend on God to save them.

  293. That's it.

  294. But see they that mourned also is tied in with

  295. the poor in spirit.

  296. Amen.

  297. This means humility, realization of one's unworthiness. When folks think

  298. they work so much, they all this, they are all that.

  299. I'm this, I'm the greatest that I have ever done it,

  300. and nobody ever done it better than me. Uh huh.

  301. They don't have no unworthiness when it comes they even

  302. greater than God. Matter of fact, some of them, I

  303. have heard folks say I am God. But those that mourn,

  304. they realize the unworthiness before God. Seein't like the man

  305. when he went there and say, I paid.

  306. My tithes, I give my offering.

  307. I'm better than that man right there they talking about him.

  308. M m hmmm. He ain't it.

  309. These folks realize the unworthiness before the King of all kings.

  310. They are sorrow.

  311. They have sorrow, great sorrow of sin, are for their

  312. own sin. Some people don't care what they do. They

  313. ain't sorry. And only God removes sorrow for sin. Only God,

  314. only God can forgive and erase it. Only God can

  315. give comfort to those who suffer for his sake, for

  316. his sake, not your sake, because.

  317. They know.

  318. Their reward. They know their reward. That's why they'll suffer

  319. for his sake, because they know their reward is in

  320. the kingdom of heaven. Now you look at this, and

  321. these folks have not for these folks have not a

  322. forgiven heart. But only God can forgive you. This is

  323. me why the Phariseess, upset with Jesus, told God, and.

  324. Sin no more.

  325. Who is this man that you forgive sin? God?

  326. That's who he is. Only God can forgive sin. Only

  327. God can erase sin.

  328. Blessed out the meek. Have you found yourself yet? The

  329. gentleman show humility. The meek.

  330. They trust in God and don't think too highly of themselves.

  331. The meek, I said the meek, I didn't say the weak,

  332. said the meek. Sometime a lot of people think, because

  333. we are saved, that we're supposed to be weak. I

  334. had explained it to somebody. I didn't say it was weak.

  335. I said I was meek. I still hit with probably

  336. about seven hundred some pounds of pressure and say I

  337. was weak. I just said I was meek. Don't get

  338. it twisted that meek don't mean you gonna walk all

  339. over me. But they trust in God and they don't

  340. think too highly of themselves. There is the balance between

  341. physical and spiritual promises.

  342. Of the Kingdom of God. We look in the Book

  343. of Revelation.

  344. And we look at chapter twenty one, and we look

  345. at chapter twenty one says the new Heaven and the

  346. new Earth. I'm not gonna read this, but it's chapter

  347. twenty one. And if you read it on your own time,

  348. it's chapter twenty one and chapter twenty two. And lets

  349. us understand the Kingdom of God.

  350. Amen.

  351. Blessed are those which hunger and thirst after righteousness. These

  352. folks who have.

  353. A tense longing for justice. You see these folks that

  354. honger and thirst after righteousness when they see wrong doings

  355. anywhere on TV, even though it's a show and it

  356. ain't really real.

  357. It's just they acting.

  358. That thing kicks in on them because they loan for justice,

  359. and even in playing they kick in.

  360. Don't look right to me, it's bad.

  361. So these are those who have an intense longing for

  362. justice and being and being so filled with God. This

  363. person completely does God's will why because justice is all

  364. they seek.

  365. With complete obedience to God.

  366. Found yourself. Yet there comes another person mercy. People realizing

  367. that because they receive mercy, then you got a really

  368. hold on it.

  369. This.

  370. I was dealing with this with somebody when I was

  371. out of town, trying to help him understand this thing.

  372. Because we think because of this, that happens. Because of that,

  373. this happens.

  374. Uh uh.

  375. But the merciful these are people realizing that because they.

  376. Receive mercy from God. They realize, because they receive mercy.

  377. From God, Amen, they must extend mercy to others. See,

  378. because God gives you mercy, you supposed to give mercy.

  379. You ain't supposed to weigh what they ande did. Mercy

  380. supposed to be just pop on out there, Amen, because

  381. it pops on out that from God to you and me.

  382. It's not promise to everybody. Because God says I mercy.

  383. He said I give to whomever I please. So it

  384. ain't automatic, but it's there, and when he shows it,

  385. it's a wonderful thing because sometimes when you sometimes it's

  386. not all the time you need that mercy when you

  387. begin to.

  388. Reap what you soul. Amen. But the merciful.

  389. Realize that because they realize understand that, they realize they

  390. receive mercy from God.

  391. They know where it comes from.

  392. And because God gets a mercy and whatever they have done,

  393. they must also extend mercy to others.

  394. And mercy implies being.

  395. For It implies forgiveness, It implies generosity and compassion. I've

  396. seen so many folks claiming to be saved. It ain't

  397. got no compassion for people. It's also a desire to

  398. remove the wrong as.

  399. Well as the suffering. But I promise you this.

  400. Mercy does not guarantee that folks will show mercy to you.

  401. I guarantee you that.

  402. But guess what, they ain't got nothing to do with

  403. your mercy. Because God shows you mercy, you must show

  404. o mercy to others. But you're not gonna always receive

  405. that same mercy from others.

  406. Hey man, there was a man in the Bible that.

  407. Owed the king tens of tens of thousands of dollars.

  408. And you don't owe no king that money. Don't pay

  409. him and you off with your head, you understand, But

  410. he didn't. And the King had mercy on him.

  411. Are you hearing me?

  412. The King had mercy on this individual and then there

  413. was one that owed him probably about ten dollars. Now,

  414. he owed the king tens of thousands and thousands of dollars,

  415. that's the way.

  416. The Bible describes.

  417. But he only owed him about ten dollars. In other word,

  418. he didn't owe him much at all. But he wanted

  419. to jack this individual up when he was just shown mercy.

  420. He wasn't going to show the man mercy that owed

  421. him a little bit of nothing.

  422. Know what happened to him, don't you? The king took

  423. back his mercy.

  424. But because we show mercy does not mean we're always

  425. gonna have it shown to us. God is not telling

  426. us this just to pack it away.

  427. Good to know.

  428. He's giving us this because when it comes we can

  429. be able to hold on to him.

  430. That's why he said, Oh, no, man, nothing but the lover.

  431. And when you give to people, if they don't pay

  432. you back, you still got a lover.

  433. And if they don't pay.

  434. You, the Bible says, lend expecting nothing in return. Hey man,

  435. So when you leand to him, if they don't pay

  436. you back, don't get all out right about it. If

  437. you really want it back and you can't really afford

  438. to give it to him. Don't give it to him,

  439. because if you give it to him and you're gonna

  440. have a fit about it, then you're out of character.

  441. Hey man, that guy still don't say to you, will

  442. he don't my money always going to pay you back.

  443. But if they do it, don't mean don't take it back.

  444. Blessed out the pure in heart. They're morally pure, Amen,

  445. they honest, they sincere. There are people of integrity. They

  446. single minded commitment always to God. The Bible said they

  447. will see God here and now.

  448. Amen.

  449. And how through the eyes of faith, as we speak

  450. about in the Book of Hebrews, which is our faith book, well,

  451. one of the books that speak about faith, a lot

  452. which talks about faith. The faith in chapter eleven in

  453. verse twenty seven says, but faith by faith, he forsook Egypt,

  454. not fearing the wrath of the king. For he endured

  455. as seeing him who is invisible. So look, he endured

  456. because of the hope that he had in one that's invisible.

  457. Amen.

  458. So when we going through things, Amen, we too must

  459. endure because of faith. This is this is the pure

  460. amen in spirit, the pure in heart, the pure in

  461. heart trusts God sincerely, sincerely amen. They are people of

  462. honest integrity. They single mind, single minded, how because their

  463. commitment is to God and to God alone, and that's why.

  464. It says they will see God. And they have a faith.

  465. Even though the king was doing his thing, they held

  466. on to what was invisible to manifest this steath self

  467. one day, ay man.

  468. That's what faith is.

  469. They had a face to face as in the Book

  470. of First John talks about in chapter three and verse two.

  471. It says, beloved, now are we the sons of God.

  472. And it do not yet appear what we shall be.

  473. But we know that when he shall appear, we shall

  474. be like him, for we shall see him.

  475. As he is. But you got to be pure in heart.

  476. Amen.

  477. See the pure in heart. They trust God wholeheartedly. They

  478. believe God. They believe this invisible God that they've never seen.

  479. But yet we see him, Amen, But yet we see him.

  480. Blessed are the peace makers. You either hair raiser or

  481. peace maker. There's no in between. You a hair raiser,

  482. are a peacemaker. But the hair raiser ain't blessed. Only

  483. blessed are the peace makers, for they should.

  484. Be called the sons of God.

  485. Amen. They are at peace. With God.

  486. And desire to live in peace with all men. These

  487. are the peace maker.

  488. They don't want to fight.

  489. I'm working on my peace maker on characters.

  490. Say they don't want to fight.

  491. Sometimes I want to fight, But the Holy Spirit quickens

  492. that spirit of mind, ay man, and turns me back

  493. into the peacemaker.

  494. They actively work for peace.

  495. Actively, they work for peace, to.

  496. Cause reconciliation, to end bitterness. It's like they see people

  497. arguing and they try to work peace into that and man,

  498. because they peacemakers.

  499. They trying to work reconciliation.

  500. Whatever you got against him or him against you, let's

  501. reconcile this thing. They peacemakers. Can you see yourself yet?

  502. Have I come down your street just yet? Have I

  503. been on your street all the time?

  504. Only you know? They peacemakers.

  505. Reconciniation folks trying to always end a bitterness and strife.

  506. They try to solve problems to maintain peace. They reflect

  507. their father's character.

  508. He's a peace maker, the character of God.

  509. Amen, blessed of those who are persecuted.

  510. See, when you live for God, persecution should not surprise you.

  511. Because you you stand out.

  512. How can you not stand out? You stand out?

  513. In darkness.

  514. Darkness don't like light. Light gonna persecute I mean darkness

  515. gonna persecute the light because the light, because the darkness

  516. feels like it's been persecuted by the light. Anyway, So

  517. when you live for God, persecution should not be surprising

  518. to you. First of all, because Jesus told you you're

  519. gonna suffer if you follow out to me, suffer me?

  520. Is you gonna be persecuted?

  521. Are you with me?

  522. So?

  523. Bless it?

  524. I think, which I persecuted for righteousness?

  525. Now if you getting persecuted for something else, now you

  526. stole it and they persecuted you, you get what you deserve.

  527. But if somebody else stole it and blamed it on

  528. you and you didn't do it, blessed are they who

  529. are persecuted for my sake. It shouldn't surprise you because

  530. you stand out as a child of God.

  531. You stand out from the world. You're supposed to.

  532. Stand out from the world. That'll be tell the difference

  533. for some time. That denirative looks like the wheat. That's

  534. what God says, don't bother I'm gonna harvest it. You

  535. might pull up the wrong thing because they look so

  536. much alike.

  537. They look alike, don't they.

  538. They stand in the pool pit and they look just

  539. like the righteous preachers.

  540. Huh.

  541. They set out in the pews and that Hallelujah, Glory

  542. to God, and dance and run all over the church.

  543. They look just like the weak.

  544. Huh.

  545. But they're not weak. They just look like weak. Blessed.

  546. I ad that are persecuted, persecuted for His sake, because

  547. I understand this, that you persecuted for God's sake.

  548. God will make up for your suffering.

  549. Because of your loyalty towards Him.

  550. You're gonna be persecuted. They might call you a holy roller.

  551. That's persecution.

  552. They might not have hit you with a bad stick,

  553. but they hit you with they words. See, somebody lied

  554. a long time ago. Sticks and stone and break your

  555. words never hurt me.

  556. That's a lie.

  557. Words hurt.

  558. Words and sticks and stone. You get hit with a

  559. stick today, you won't feel it tomorrow. And let it

  560. depend on how hard you was hit. But I give

  561. it a week or two and it's gone. But the

  562. words can stay with you for years. Twenty years ago

  563. you said those mean things to me, Still with you.

  564. They lie, Words will hurt you. Words have power, but

  565. the only real power they have is the power.

  566. You let them have.

  567. Ay man, Jesus.

  568. Was telling his disciples and the multitude that they shouldn't

  569. be surprised when people mock them, persecute, or persecute them.

  570. And here's one y'all can't help handle and lie on them.

  571. Sometimes we don't care what they do. Just don't lie.

  572. Just don't lie on me, because you don't lie or

  573. grow like a and be big as.

  574. A mountain.

  575. And then have an avalanche. See, Jesus told them, don't

  576. don't don't be surprised. He said, because this is going

  577. to happen to you, because it happened to me, because

  578. it's going to happen to me. So they they should

  579. not expect nothing different than what happens to their Lord

  580. and savior. Why, because you're walking in his example. If

  581. you walk like our walk, the same things happened to

  582. me will happen to you. Hey man, you drive your

  583. car through the car wash with the water running and

  584. you somebody come behind you, you ain't gonna stay dry.

  585. You don't have the same thing happened to you.

  586. So Jesus says, don't be surprised, and we are surprised,

  587. and he knew he would be surprised.

  588. But there's so many that I surprise here talking about me.

  589. Shut up, Jesus already told you this stuff was gonna happen.

  590. Now cut it out, really, get a grip.

  591. Jesus said, these things are gonna happen you because it

  592. happened to me. Jesus said in Matthew ten in verse eighteen,

  593. and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for

  594. my sake, for a testimony against them and the gentiles.

  595. Jesus says in chapter twenty four of Matthews and verse nine,

  596. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and

  597. shall kill you, and ye shall be hated for all

  598. nations for my namesake.

  599. Don't be surprised.

  600. He's telling you right here, these things gonna happen.

  601. He even goes on to the Book of John and

  602. tells you in the fifteenth chapter of John.

  603. The same thing.

  604. He's in all these gospels telling you the same thing,

  605. each one written by the inspiration of God, by the

  606. men of God. In verse twenty here in John he says,

  607. remember the word that I've said unto you.

  608. Remember the servant is not greater than his Lord.

  609. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you.

  610. If they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

  611. That's the same.

  612. The persecutors are gonna persecute you, because the persecute to me.

  613. But the ones I've spoken the truth through that held

  614. on to it. The same people that you speak to,

  615. they gonna hold on to it too. Why because it's

  616. not you speaking, it's me speaking through you steal me,

  617. you steal me, It's still me.

  618. Hey man.

  619. He goes on in verse twelve, and Jesus, Jesus says,

  620. in verse twelve, rejoice and be look, he said, rejoice,

  621. and then he put an extra on rejoys. He said,

  622. be exceedingly glad, for greatest your reward in heaven. For no,

  623. for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

  624. So they persecuted the prophets years ago, way before the

  625. prophets of today, way before the way before the kids

  626. and children of today, way before the preachers of the day,

  627. way before the passes of the day.

  628. They persecuted them the prophets.

  629. So Jesus scribes the way he's saying that his description

  630. is the way a believer should respond to persecute, Hey man,

  631. what is the way that Jesus said or believers should

  632. respond to persecution? He said, be rejoicedful, not only that,

  633. exceedingly glad, be happy about it, be very glad. Why

  634. should I be glad about this persecution of the world,

  635. Because great is your reward in heaven.

  636. And if you're not focusing on.

  637. The persecution, you should be focusing your attention on the

  638. eternal destiny of all things because.

  639. Of your person.

  640. Don't focus on the persecution. Focus is on the kingdom

  641. of Heaven. That's your destiny because of the persecution.

  642. Aymen.

  643. So let me conclude, since y'all listening so good, these

  644. are ifs, and it's two size to an if. If

  645. you're happy, I'll give you this, But if you ain't happy,

  646. you ain't getting it. Sees two size to the if. So,

  647. if God is as real as he claims, if the

  648. Bible is true, if heaven is to be gained, then

  649. no temporary earthly trouble our persecution can deprive the child

  650. of God of the joy, of the.

  651. Eternal glory that lies ahead.

  652. Hey man, give God a hand clap of prayers.

  653. Doney I want to thank all of you for that,

  654. but I want you to give God a.

  655. Hand clap of praens. Amen.

  656. So the question is, where do you see yourself.

  657. And all of that, and what about that describes you

  658. to God?

  659. Amen? That is between you and God. Amen. Amen. Let

  660. us stand
