The Lord is an awesome God, a man.
-
After God beyond in the go away in the phrase today,
-
God is the leading light pack. He cares and we
-
can have any care as m Father. We want to
-
thank you Lord for all we would asked don if
-
you said, have.
-
Done anything exact spoken with and we're not liking, He
-
asked God.
-
Right now, search up all the liberal star, any all things,
-
service the deeps of our hearts. In the name of Jesus,
-
we come to the God. Humble, We come and bound
-
out his asking God that you would have imputed us. God,
-
that what you reuni. It's day and days that.
-
You may have to come in the name of Jesus,
-
encourage our hearts.
-
God. So much is going on in the world, so
-
many are being discouraged. Lord, we understand that you are
-
the keepers and the alloted of all animals. You not changed.
-
The world may have changed, but you've never changed. Your
-
world will never change. People change, but you never changed.
-
And help us to stay the same the same as you.
-
The more you that work at.
-
The only inside of.
-
You, the who We've given our lives to you, who.
-
Have given us our.
-
Vation and with claiming a new man and the old
-
man and put to dead that you may live and
-
we should die on the inside. Raise up in us
-
for the spirit that we will be pleasing to the
-
Lord about God. Give us the strength that we need,
-
the strength that's in you to know, God, that we
-
already have a victim. No matter what the world is doing,
-
help us to have nowhere is.
-
We're generally concerned, but nowhere.
-
Is gone because you made us a problem. And we
-
want to pray right down on the evil that's going
-
wrong in this room, especially in our leaders of this
-
world and the leaders of this America, as that you
-
turn them away, God, and when they're going, touch their
-
mind and go, because we do understand all that they do.
-
You allow them to be able to do. But it's
-
always for your glory. So God, have your will, have
-
your way fall. But we know God, you being a
-
just God, a holy God, a loving God, that you
-
will not allowed the righteous to suffer with the wicked.
-
So it is my prayer God, every wave. God, your
-
word is truth and all the promises of ours, So
-
help us all by your oldest period, and we need
-
not worry. It will be guern because You're promised no
-
matter what the world is doing you promise to take
-
care of your people, your children. You promised to take
-
care of us God, and we believe it on you God,
-
and he needs last and evil time. These are the
-
times God, in our strengthen and our faith in you,
-
a hope of needy.
-
We believe it in you. Go standing on your word.
-
Help us God be strong treth and as your world
-
goes forth today God, let it in hands our minds.
-
Those that are listening over the airways, touch their minds God,
-
and pray that this will bring back the backslide and
-
save the senter and wake up those that have even
-
saved God, and hold their own to examine themselves because
-
they deal as the secretly wicked though, and buy your power.
-
I know you repeat the devil for ourself.
-
In the name of Jesus. Happy wave God of Jesus,
-
name and name.
-
If you will turn with me to the book of Colossus.
-
And the third chapter.
-
I want to talk about today, are you still new
-
or have you turned out?
-
How have you turned over again? They don't want to
-
talk about are you still new? Are have you turned
-
over again? How many of us today are still walking
-
in the plan of salvation? Because so many have turned
-
away from the plan of salvation that was once in
-
the planet.
-
They turned away from the plan and going back to
-
their old ways.
-
Because at one point they troubles to be a Christian
-
and then found it too hard to accomplish an your
-
glass and even do it because they're not lead in
-
an opinion on the law of paying attention and what's
-
going on in the world. And some of us have
-
chosen to be a Christian. But if that choice only
-
on Sunday, or do we continue that every day? Some
-
folks are the change to be a Christians become the
-
Church of the Christian attitude, the so called Christian clothes,
-
which they are acting fool they later.
-
So I don't know if the Christian Globe.
-
Christian lindset Christian ethics relevant Christian ethics concerning the carnal
-
ethics of what Christian should be and not the spiritual
-
when a Christian open his mind to God at all times,
-
not just when you believe you need, not just when
-
you know you trouble, but all the time. Because it's
-
long and you've heard this before, as long as everything
-
that is going well with us, we sometimes forget it
-
why it is, But when we really come to understand
-
the God that we serve. It's always will with us,
-
I said, it's always will with us. So I asked again,
-
are we still knew or have we turned over again?
-
In the Book of Colossius, the third chapter is talking
-
about this.
-
New life that we.
-
Pursuing you, that this new life that we're claiming and
-
claiming that the whole life has passed away. So if
-
it passed away, when something pass away, it's no more right, right.
-
So let's see amen. In the Book of class the
-
third chapter, the Bible says the earth, if you then,
-
then if you then be raised.
-
With Christ. So you've been raised with Christ. So we
-
have to see people. We have to seek those things
-
which are above, where Christ sitting on the right hand
-
of God. So if we've been raised with Christ, then
-
we are to be seeking those things that are heaven.
-
And we should set our affections on things above, not
-
on things on the areas. A lot of affections should
-
always be on the theme. With our affections as our
-
mind should always be on the themes that are heavenly
-
and spiritual.
-
And not things on the earth. You may be seated
-
in announ rule.
-
And verse three says for you are dead, somebody said, dead,
-
and your life is hid with Christ in God. So
-
now that you are dead, your life is hid with
-
Christ and God. So what means in your life and
-
your life now had been deposited into Christ. It has
-
been depositive with Christ, who is in an intimate relationship
-
with God. And that so it says, for you are dead,
-
and your life is hid with Christ, and it says
-
in God. And I say, because Christ has an intimate
-
relationship with God, so should we.
-
Amen?
-
So that means that the believer's new life is stored
-
up in Gus stress. Amen. So when Christ, first of all,
-
who is our life, shall appear, then shall he also
-
appear with him in glory. So in other words, in
-
order to do this we must verse do verse five
-
mortify Therefore your members means to put away. I put
-
to death the members.
-
Which are on the earth.
-
So we got to put away those members which are
-
on earth and pick up a spiritual member. They man.
-
So the member that we put away on earth. Authortnication
-
uncleanness in a iteration in duration, which is what is
-
in ration. In the rations out are are carnal passions
-
of things afflict evil, h m encompasses, which is desires
-
and things are not of God encomfortedness, which.
-
Is idolatry, idolatry not adulty.
-
But I don't if you're married for your adult I
-
mean serving idols, you know, idle. See we can deceive ourself.
-
What I am and I do.
-
They always affect budden a man.
-
And I don't.
-
Can be your car, I don't, can be your money,
-
and I.
-
Opn be your children, your husband and your wife, your furniture,
-
and your house, your house, your job. Put away these things, wow,
-
because when you become a new creature in Christ, verse
-
he says for which thing, say the wrath of God comes.
-
On the children of disobedience. If you hold on these things,
-
the wrath of God gonna come and gives you.
-
The verse seven said you you put away these things
-
become for the sake of the rapt of God coming
-
on the children disobedience. In the witch, ye also walk
-
sometime when you live in them.
-
That means you're.
-
Used to walk in them. You don't walk in them
-
no more. But now he also put off all these
-
things as well. And the rath nolage last week filthy
-
communication out of your manner see filthy. Communication is not
-
always in the family field. The communication and need you
-
lying on somebody, that's filth the communication.
-
Feel the communication.
-
When you're talking about somebody, it's filth the communication and
-
man filter.
-
Communication is you gossip? It's not always for family.
-
And you go along and say lie not one to another,
-
seeing that you have put off all put off the
-
old man with indeed lying should be old and have
-
put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge.
-
So now that you know better.
-
After the image of Him that created him. So it's
-
after the image of Jesus Christ, who has the image
-
of God that created him.
-
Is the image that we should be showing for ourself
-
as the new creatures in Christ, as new believers a man.
-
Because now that we are new, and we should be new,
-
But are we still doing old things?
-
This is the understanding today. If we're new, are we
-
still doing old things? The old things I just mentioned
-
to you. Are we still doing the old things? And
-
we have become new? Because if we are still doing
-
some of those old things, then the light is shining
-
dimly again, not yet shine, which means there need be
-
the delfference.
-
And that.
-
Keenan said, it has put on the new Man, which
-
is renewed and happening in him, that creating human. Whether
-
there is neither Greek learns you it don't make no
-
different gentuations circumcision or uncircumcisions, and different Circumciserin Jesus Frank
-
came in a new circuscision with the law for the
-
people of God who are being gone by the bar insighting,
-
bond nor free whatever.
-
Do not if you are slaving, all free. But Christ
-
is in all, and Christ is all and in all,
-
Christ is all and in all Amen.
-
So we understand be talking from these old things, But
-
what should be evidence of what we are?
-
Now?
-
We understand what the old evidence was, and then well
-
what is the new evidence, because now that we're claiming
-
to be new.
-
But if we're new, then we shouldn't be doing the
-
old thing.
-
And if we are still doing some of the old things,
-
as I said, we needed some liberals, and man, if
-
we want to make it in the kingdom, if we
-
want to please our Lord, them saying Jesus Christ. So
-
the virtues of a the new Man, of a new
-
Christian are the Christians a new Christian. But the virtues
-
of a Christian brother versus the virtues of the old man,
-
the things that we have to put on.
-
In the verse twelve, put on therefore as the elect
-
of God poll in beloved bowls of mercy, kind of.
-
Humblement of mind. You gotta hume up and have a
-
humbleness of mine. The mind can be so quick to ing,
-
so quick to just to say what you want to
-
say with not with no governor on your mind, especially
-
if you're time or your time meetless, long suffer. These
-
are spiritual things you have to take on, because these
-
are attributes I want to say to Jesus Christ and
-
I for burying verse thirteen, for burying one another. That
-
means you have to bury with one another. But that's
-
going on, bar Willow. Don't just count out very well
-
one another and forgiving one another if any man have
-
a quarrel against any even as Christ forgave.
-
You, so also you need it or not.
-
And you have to have the Holy Spirit to operate
-
in this way. These are spiritual attributes, a virtue of
-
a Christian.
-
And above all these things.
-
Put on charity, because love is the guiding force of
-
these things that I just mentioned.
-
That's why I said, which is the bound of perfection.
-
And let the peace of God ruin in your heart.
-
To the witch, also you a call in one body,
-
and you be thank so he has called us.
-
In the peace of God.
-
And his calls to let the peace of God move
-
in our hearts. As the batle said to the witch.
-
Also here called. But when that's the word of Christ.
-
In verse sixteen dwelve in you richly in our wisdom.
-
And this is the two points. Let the word of
-
Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. So when
-
a believer, which will be you leaving, when believers are
-
for a bearing forginning.
-
And it says in verse thirteen and loving in.
-
Verse fourteen towards one another, when peace reigns among God's people,
-
here this and here this, Well, I'm saying as many
-
times when these things are then attribute of God people
-
the church is it has futility in soil which the Church,
-
the body of Christ has good ground for soul, you man.
-
And then when that happens, the blessing I produced back
-
Christ's Jesus. This is why always say, when you come
-
into unison in when in the body of Christ, then
-
the blessings flow by Jesus Christ. This is why we
-
must let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly
-
in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in songs
-
and him and spiritual songs, singing with grace in our
-
to the law. And whosoever or whatsoever he do, whatsoever
-
you do, we don't matter what it is, whatsoever it is,
-
do it in word, are indeed do it all in
-
the name of the Law of Genius, giving thanks to
-
God and the Father not Him.
-
Amen.
-
We examine ourselves today? Are we still new and becoming
-
even newer? I have we went back somewhere and turned
-
over again, because as we began to revisit these scriptures,
-
we find that Paul here, Paul in the right of
-
this book.
-
Amen, and he's explaining.
-
What you just heard.
-
He's explaining true Christian behavior.
-
Did you give me say? True Christian behavior, True Christian
-
behavior concerning putting on the news, self accept in Christ,
-
and regarding the earthly nature as dead. You see, when
-
we do put on this new man, we also need
-
a new environment. The old environment will cause us to struggle.
-
More than we should. We're gonna struggle anyway, but the.
-
Old environment is gonna cause the new man to struggle
-
more unless.
-
He gets into a new environment. A man, you can't
-
stay in the old environment.
-
And produce what God is trying to manifest in you
-
as his son a man. We have to even watch
-
this walk in he I don't because you have to
-
counsel out family, friends, associates.
-
To get in this new environment.
-
You just can't hang out with any vernet because the
-
Bible of the.
-
Class see for a Christian.
-
God is very wise. God says, you know, he said
-
all he says, bad communication corrupt good hands. So if
-
you're hanging out with people that a lot like Jesus
-
what should be like you, then it's gonna corrupt you.
-
Just let me think you something.
-
Don't you ever let the end of the moop you
-
into believe you can do it. We'll tell you why
-
you can be for God's sas and God's works. Truth
-
you you're gonna be around.
-
People. Ain't saying that's not the same hanging out with
-
you around people in the house of God, and they say,
-
we can't hang out. So we have to put away
-
that earthly nature and the deeds of the earthly nature
-
and pick up the spiritual nature of our Lord.
-
To say to Jesus Christ.
-
So what happens is we change our moral and ethical
-
behavior by letting Christ live within us.
-
It's ironic that this lesson today and this sermon.
-
Today is talking about ethical and moral ways because that's
-
what we're studying right now in Sunday School, the moral
-
and ethical ways going. And as a Christian amen, So
-
we got to change our moral ethical behavior about that
-
in Christ live within us so that we can so
-
that not that we can, but so that He can
-
shape us and man into what we should be. It's
-
the Christ that shapened us into what we should be.
-
How does he do that by we staying in his
-
face get in his word. I cannot emphasize more than
-
I already have that when you get in the Word
-
of God, it gets in you.
-
That's why I say is I'm in him.
-
And He's in me. Because when you get in the word,
-
the word gets in you. And when the word gets
-
in you, it changes things. It changes your etho, ethical
-
and moral senses. They become new, the old phase away.
-
We gotta take this serious. One day all of us
-
are going to meet I mean how we meet him
-
is up to you, not me. Minds is up to me,
-
and and and this lesson, this servant comes to me
-
because I'm looking on.
-
A daily basis. Sometimes I'm not trying to look.
-
I just I'm just looking.
-
It just comes before me because this is what God
-
wants me to say. It's a message to me.
-
First, I'm watching people claiming to be saving, claiming to
-
be a new creature in Christ, and all I see
-
is old ways. You're just claiming to be doing. First,
-
one tells us if he didn't been raised for Christ.
-
If so, if you have, and since you have been raised,
-
express certainty and man, you were once dead in your sin,
-
but now you have been raised from death to life,
-
just as Christ had been raised from the dead. About
-
the power of God. You have received a new life
-
from God through the power of the horse. Sir, it's
-
the new life. So what now? What Now you've got
-
this new life in the home spirit, what's gonna do?
-
I wasn't now what's going on with your life?
-
Now?
-
Everything's gonna be come new. They're only gonna come new
-
to get in the work because the Word's gonna change
-
your old mind to a new mindset. That's how you
-
can come to get into work. So what now, I'll
-
tell you what now, Now you got a responsibility to
-
Jesus Christ, because now you see you the son Bet.
-
You have responsibility now to Jesus Christ.
-
Why do you have the responsibility Jesus right, because he
-
died on across for you. So now you have a
-
responsibility of Jesus to live right and to understand and
-
to respect Jesus. Respect the seat that he sets in
-
at the right hand of God, and the fact that
-
he sets at the right at the right hand of Gon.
-
It reveals the power an authority as well as the
-
judge and application that he advocates for us. How about
-
all the life and man? When you cut up, he's
-
jacket with them, God getting ready to judge you. He's advocating.
-
He got blood on him. It's my blood. There's only
-
in dc blood. So since we were not only have
-
we been freed from seeing, we have also turned to
-
a new life. I can't reiterate that so many times,
-
but yet I will, because we're supposed to be living
-
in a new life and we're supposed to be behind
-
old ways.
-
Are you hearing? Are you listening old ways, old habits,
-
old value, old devices, the old interests and seeing.
-
And then we are seeking things that are abound, like
-
a deeper knowledge of Christ. That's what we're seeking, a
-
deeper knowledge of Christ, a closer fellowship with Him, experiencing
-
his resurrection power and.
-
Victory overseeing Amen. That means that we must be developing
-
a new, new and godly.
-
Virtues and man which is excellent, and the fulfillment of
-
domestic and social responsibilities.
-
Also effect that trail life. This is a new man,
-
old man.
-
In pre pread on the food, they're doing no good
-
in preadover God was just versatile kind to him. We
-
also not only be effect that the prayer like his
-
one his on that we just don't we just we
-
just can't see them come being fruitful in Nancy, you
-
don't want to tell nobody about Jesus.
-
Matter of fact, we scared to.
-
Tell us more folks about Jenis.
-
A lot of times we walk.
-
Away from a conversation, then somebody else is talking about Jesus.
-
You get embarrassed wrong away. This is this is when
-
we are accomplishing all this.
-
We are accomplishing and obtaining Christian maturity, because you must
-
mature as a Christian canse they are a babe always
-
to cause.
-
It when you was a babe, I would give your milk.
-
Get grown up now and you still want the milk,
-
the whole TV amount, chewing up the Nikelosa bottle.
-
But I still gotta give you a meal because you
-
ain't got to the men. We got to mature in
-
this thing.
-
So then they have being raised in Christ, and not
-
to see those blessings would be a contradiction to the
-
fact that he was actually raised with Christ. Too, tells
-
us about setting nonfections on things above.
-
You're taking slow.
-
I want you. I want this to soak in. Sometime
-
when you pull a walk on something real fast, it
-
just kind of runs off and eventually eventually it is soaking.
-
But if you do it's slow.
-
You ever heard of that, They come it rains when
-
it's just misery of it. They call it a sunking rand.
-
Put the call it soaking rand. It gonna soak it.
-
I want this to sunk it. Those that are listening,
-
I want this to sunk it. So it says set
-
your affection on things above in verse two. The Greek
-
words literally says set your mind on things above, so
-
as to say that we are not to.
-
Be preoccupied with things on the earth.
-
Such as karrent philosophy that people have for you, legalistic stuff,
-
legalistic practices. Nor are we to dwell on things that
-
are not wrong in themselves. House, they're not wrong in themselves.
-
We may have to dwell on them.
-
Man. A house is not wrong in self, a job, career,
-
your ambitions, et cetera.
-
They're not wrong in themselves.
-
But we are not to dwell on them a man,
-
because they can be wrong should they become priority over God.
-
Anything that you make priority over God can become wrong.
-
He's telling us to love heaven and things, study them.
-
Let our heart be fixed on them now that we
-
are converted to God. Be as much in earnest like
-
heavenly things, eternal thing as we were for earthly things
-
that actually perish. If people just love their college, they
-
love it so much, they don't give you a ride
-
and see you walk and round because you're gonna get
-
their seats with earthly things and what they the car
-
gonna perish, it's gonna parish you better. Three and four
-
talks about.
-
The deeds and yeah, and you are dead rather than
-
the life. The moment you see salvation, I said, the
-
moment you receive salvation the woman.
-
Everybody don't re see salvation coming all right, in trouble
-
and ask for men. But the woman, you truly receive salvation.
-
You dot.
-
To the evil of the fleinish.
-
The same nature is gone. And now your life is
-
heiden in him, because now your life is invisible man,
-
and it's safe in Jesus, because he said in John
-
fourteen and nine, fourteen and nineteen other Yet a little while,
-
and the world seeth me no more, but ye see
-
me because I live. But ye see me.
-
Because I live, Ye shall live also. But when he
-
appears at the raption.
-
The taking up of the saints, we will appear with him,
-
and we will be glorified. In Colossians one in twenty
-
seven tells us to whom God would make known what
-
he is, the riches of the glory, of his mysteries
-
among the gentile, which is Christ in you. That's the history,
-
the hope of glory. Paul goes home the sayd verse
-
five mortified his name. Paul here is saying, if we
-
are to live as examples of Christ, we have to
-
put to death the aspects of the simple earthly things
-
lurking within us, because those things a lurk within you.
-
Those from Paul.
-
Saying, we're gonna have to put away these things.
-
We're gonna have to live as an example of Christ
-
by putting to death the aspect of the sinful earthly
-
things working within us, a sinful nature.
-
It's the nature that Jesus came to change. We had
-
a nature.
-
Then he come to save us from sin, and it
-
came to change our nature. What you doing, came to see.
-
It came to change your nature. You had a sinful nature.
-
So he had to change your nature to a god
-
of nature. It's your nature. It has to change.
-
When you change natures, you don't have a sinful ways
-
no more. So we had to change. We had to
-
get away from.
-
Our earth, the earthly things working within us, the sinful
-
nature that old self.
-
But don't be harmed. Even though.
-
Even though we died with Christ, temptation and the evil,
-
sinful nature still trying on a daily basis, It still
-
tries you on a data basis.
-
You die of a chrimes, you've been risen with him,
-
but that sinfor.
-
Nature don't like to give up. It still trials us
-
on a data basis. How does the trials because.
-
The enemy remembers our own nature. And when you driving down.
-
The street and you see that billboard with that crown role,
-
he tried to put a subliminal message in your head.
-
You remember how good that tastes. You, Remember how good
-
that tastes. Don't act like you don't remember good.
-
A good dead taste.
-
Now you might be.
-
Walking in the mall in this day and town. It's truth.
-
Smell some weeds you you gonna tell it, I said,
-
Gunshoy right there. I remember that.
-
It's aubliminal message to try to get you to go
-
back to your old nature. Trigger It's still gonna try
-
you on a daily basin. But we have the hold
-
on the golf working for our life. And listen to
-
the Holy Spirit. We got the hold on the God
-
for our life. And listen to the Holy Spirit. Because
-
the spirit of the enemy is gonna be speaking at
-
old stuff to you. But because you're new in Christ,
-
the Holy goals are gonna continue to speak the new
-
things and the way that you are now.
-
And let you know, no, you ain't not that, no more,
-
you this way now.
-
Because if we don't, God's judder on those cameras, behaviors
-
will come upon us.
-
Is nature, God's nature. God's nature does not allow sin
-
to go unpunished.
-
That's his nature. He don't allow sin to go unpunished.
-
You think they deven where God is gonna be on.
-
He don't allow no sin to go unpunished. Sin and
-
sin to God. There's no weight with sin concerning God,
-
like there is weight with man concerned sin.
-
What are you talking about preaching?
-
I'm talking about Man will put you on probation, Man
-
will put you in prison. Man will put you in
-
jail for a few days. But you're independent from the sin.
-
In other words, man has a level of what he does.
-
When you sin, you steal a piece of bubble gun
-
that might slap you on the restan you don't pay,
-
your restitution gone away. If you murder a man, you
-
get convicted. If you go on the potential, see what God?
-
If you still that bubble gun, I murder a man.
-
If you don't repent, you going to head. Ain't don't wait,
-
he don't wait. It always is on the scale, like
-
even you're seeing you're going to hell. You don't repay.
-
Man weighs sining.
-
God's nature does not allow sin to go unpunish, And
-
some people try to get around it.
-
But at the end of the day, if you don't repent,
-
hell is.
-
Where you're gonna lift up your eyes.
-
If you don't repent. I'm almost done like that.
-
He said in the Witch verse seven. You walk this,
-
let's us know that we don't need to be judged
-
for these things anymore. See these things that be speaking here,
-
these are not things we need to judge for no more,
-
because you know why we don't do these things no more.
-
So we don't need to be judged a bout these
-
things anymore because we have put off the old one
-
and put on the news. And then also when we
-
look at others, it should remind us. When you look
-
at other it should remind us in our judgment that
-
we too were once like them. What is it saying
-
you have to remember you as ons like this. Don't
-
be juging about harsh peoples once like that. Even if
-
I Jael you are harsh, smiling up on you, God
-
forgave you, gave you a new life.
-
Can't you jellge themsel I'm.
-
Looking at him at west On the dog when you
-
used to be a wee spoom the dog. Don't judge them?
-
So rsh because man, you don have made it on
-
the news sign and God doesn't change your life the
-
change too. You just need you wouldn't be dreads us
-
or I'm just telling them that Jesus could do it. Hey, man,
-
We're never.
-
Judge them because we were once like them.
-
And these behaviors of the old Man have no place
-
in any Christian's life, and they don't have no place
-
in the House of God. That's part of the old life.
-
And now today the houses of God have taken on
-
the old life because the people can take it on.
-
The old life again. Fifteen of who ever had a
-
new life.
-
The old life, these are part of These things are
-
part of the old life, and these are the thing
-
these old life before knowing Christ. So now that you
-
know Christ shouldn't be a part of the life. This
-
is before knowing Christ. The repulsive sins of speech. So
-
that we can put old Christ's attitude and nations. Amen,
-
we have to put old Christ in attitude, nations, diverse teams,
-
and have put on own.
-
That's something we done. Did we done did what we
-
claim with the new man. The new man is the
-
person one becomes at the conversion. Had you been conversion.
-
People, says, as a new nature is your nature change
-
even he gets new value, new.
-
Aspirations, a new lifestyle.
-
This new man is consistently being renewed of developing until
-
he obtains a mature knowledge of God who recreated him,
-
which means you have to It has to be a
-
continuation of renewing, staying in God's face, stayed in God's word,
-
stayed in God's preaching, stayed in God's teaching until there's
-
a maturity of not of the God, not guessing what
-
God says. I believe that somebody else said that is wrong.
-
You really don't know, because you're.
-
Im mature in God.
-
The more a believer knows and understand of God, the
-
more he will be like God in character. In contor,
-
I said, he's gonna be God, and he will be
-
like God.
-
The more, the more say, the more the more he.
-
Believe or not and understand, not just know, but understand,
-
a lot of people know a lot of things about God,
-
but do they understand of God. The more you'll be
-
like that.
-
Not only is the new man to put sin to death,
-
he is also to put.
-
Away man made various, that the bad people, and that
-
nursed the vices, of the old life. You gotta put
-
away all that old stuff and among renewed humanity. There
-
are no national ceremonies, culture, our society distractions. So we
-
don't go along with the world going on with we
-
don't go on the uh. The world has dictated to
-
some bodies of Christ that the first Sunday is holy
-
community only the person that ceremonial, culture, society distractions. But
-
you can have you're not listening to the scriptures. Scripture
-
says as often as often as often, let's keep with.
-
It right now, as as all amen.
-
So there are no natural ceremonies, cultures are social distractions
-
to the.
-
Redeemed Christ.
-
In all of us, because He is everything that he
-
is what matters more to us all. It's not about
-
these cultures and these ceremonies and these traditions. Jesus came
-
and began to go against custom and traditions for a reason.
-
It's people out there kicking gold comparisies like people been
-
working on sad.
-
Jesus did was I wasn't made for the sad. Sad
-
was made for me.
-
That words, I'm in trouble. It says christis in all
-
that is He dwells in all believers. And man, he
-
only dwells in all believers. You don't. You don't dwell
-
the non believers. He only dwells in all beligans. Conclusion
-
of this matter, because Jesus is the truth, we have
-
to practice truth. We have a practice truth because Jesus
-
is the truth. No, Jesus is the truth. Yeah, what's
-
your practice truth? Why shoud the practical truth?
-
Because Jesus is the truth.
-
Because Jesus is in you, and that Jesus in you,
-
you are to automatically be practicing truth.
-
Because he lives in you.
-
And man, it says in the suscription, and it says
-
in the explanation about that I just gave you Jesus
-
in all and all in him, and in him is
-
all the truth is in him. If he is in you,
-
then the truth should be in you. And you should
-
practice the truth in all areas of our life. Not
-
when we we get a suggestive that we're just not
-
gonna tell it all. Not telling it all is the lieing,
-
being deceitful. Tell the truth, man, see you see see
-
Abraham lied, but there was some truth in his life
-
where he was and um Raul was a lie because
-
of fear. He told King Annalis that Sarah was his
-
sister and not his wife. She was his sister.
-
He don't mention it. So he was being deceased, she
-
was his wife.
-
He gonna mention that because of fear, and the fear
-
of that the king was known to take the beautiful
-
white from the man to kill him and keep the white.
-
So there was the see.
-
Hey, man, So we should always tell us the whole truth.
-
Nothing about the truth. So help us God, because they
-
don't need God. It's gonna tip.
-
So help us to tell the truth, especially in times
-
of trouble, time a pressure times.
-
Man. Think about the lives of the three lives that
-
Peter told in denying Christ.
-
Because of pressure.
-
Pressure us should not cause us to lie. Pressure should
-
cause us to tell the truth. By that's material, that's
-
a mature growth in God. And truth should always flow
-
no matter what the truth verse. The Bible says, the
-
truth says the truth selfl fear minute, So they don't
-
need the whole man.
-
There go, you ain't gonna stop it.
-
If someone don't line, somebody gonna tell them the truth,
-
You're gonna be hearing accounts are not telling them the.
-
Truth when you have the time to tell the truth.
-
So we shouldn't lie to each other. Why lying disrupt unity?
-
You got the unity in a family, in a home,
-
and this lying going on in there, that the unity
-
becomes disrupted. Unity becomes disrupted in the house of God.
-
Will people up in the lion? Okay? It destroys trust.
-
Once you lie, it's hard to keep your trust. What
-
is he lying?
-
Now? Man? She lied about that? When does she lie
-
about that? See? Once you lie on the witness stand
-
that day're gonna lawyer for each your part. But when
-
you do tell the truth, he gonna say to the zero,
-
how we know you ain't lying about that? You're lied
-
about that? You lose trust and it tears down relationships
-
and it may lead to serious conflict. Lying his land, seriously,
-
the president been lying all the time, leading to a
-
whole lot of serious conflict. That's a wonderful example right there.
-
He's been lying out of everything, and it's been lead
-
the conflict all over the United States and all over
-
the world.
-
His lives been leading. It leeds the sick and they
-
are serious conflicts.
-
It leads also the serious conflicts in your home and
-
in your ministry. We shouldn't pass around rumors our gospel,
-
I say thing to build up our own image that
-
others expensive. Because we have put off the old evil
-
nature and with indeeds and have committed to telling the truth,
-
because we have put on Christ.
-
And our goal is the learning of the Christian likeness.
-
The more we know of Christ and his work, the
-
more we can be changed and to get in it
-
and likeness. And this learning is long, life long. It
-
ain't a few minutes a day, a couple months later. No,
-
this is life long. For the rest of your life.
-
You're gonna be learning about Christ for the rest of
-
your life. You're gonna be learning because He's it's so
-
much in him. We don't even get it in our lifetime.
-
So just think about the times you're not learning. You're
-
missing out, and you're not growing like you shoot, and
-
you're not maturing like you shooting.
-
The reason why you snap and you be.
-
Like, Lord, I need nothing more. Yeah, you need a
-
whole lot more, need a whole lot more because you
-
have not been consistent.
-
You have to be consistent. Hey man, we want we
-
want to rose rys for both wagon consistency.
-
From God not gonna happen. So the more we know
-
of Christ and his work, the more we can be
-
changed into His image and likeness. And this is a
-
lifelong learning process and we must never stop learning, and
-
most of all, we should never stop obeying the teaching
-
of God. People have people have learned the teachers of
-
a lot of same Jesus Rist to learn from God
-
and have allowed people to go to take them to
-
another teacher. Do you know, I know it's a lot
-
of people that are Muslims that used to be a Christian.
-
There's a lot of people in costs it used to
-
be a Christian. You've got to continue these teachings and
-
obeying these teachers because in the Bible of God's holding, people.
-
Are chosen back God for a specific purpose. Our destiny
-
were chosen for that. Your destiny and purpose ain't my purpose,
-
but it needs to the same thing.
-
No one can claim to be chosen back God because
-
of is of our advertite.
-
My mama will saved for my mama was a pre
-
design want to be a preacher. My dating was was
-
a was a possible.
-
You can't claim that that's a call back. God's in
-
that position, not a chosen position back. You people.
-
People in these ministines be choosing people. You're supposed to
-
be a preacher.
-
Boy, you know, I see it. God ain't told him nothing.
-
When you go out there and you're falling on your knack,
-
and after a while you're so resentful you don't even
-
want to know none by God no more, because you
-
need to know exactly what your purpose is.
-
You need to know what your calling is. Your calling
-
ain't my call.
-
But it's all for the same purpose, the purpose of
-
the Gospel of Jesus Christ. That's why there's a five
-
fold ministry. Were supposed to were supposed to celebrate the
-
gifts of people, not tolerating. Hey man, we're not supposed
-
to be jealous of the gift. We're supposed to celebrate
-
the gift. I think she's sim always quote sp well,
-
if you get in the word, you're quotn too.
-
Not only quota, you understand, you get into word.
-
Nobody been claimed to be chosen by God because of
-
his her amerigans are good works.
-
Or good looks or whatever they think.
-
God himself freely chooses to say whomever he will. The
-
doctrine of election teachers that it it is God's solvend
-
short to save us by His goodness and mercy and
-
grace and not by our own marriage. I would deal
-
with somebody not long ago coming out he's been doing
-
this good and the good God said, your good work,
-
they're gonna get you in the heaven. Brother, your good
-
works is only are counting your light blood, not to
-
your salvation, to your life money. You understand what's here.
-
See, your good word's gonna be spoken of where you
-
get to heaven.
-
It's not gonna be because you get to heaven the
-
blood of Jesus and the cross is because of you
-
getting the hippn except in the salvation of God and man,
-
not real good marriage.
-
So to have to so to have received such wonderful grace.
-
From God, it I have to call all of us
-
to black man now side sinful desires in order to
-
clothe ourselves with the nature and that pleases God. And
-
when I look at the cross and really take passion
-
from a man, that should cause any person that's claiming
-
to be a Christian to not going to go against
-
the nature of your Lord and say that, Jesus Prince,
-
if you can feel the passion of the cross, there's
-
a great that's the greatest passion in the world, the
-
Cross with the greatest passion will ever see Amen. And
-
if we can receive that passion in our hearts, it
-
should cause us to always want to please God for
-
what He's done for us. It is totally irresponsible and
-
selfish of anyone that understands out and say not to
-
have that passion of the chrost. Salvation causes us to
-
want to be Christians. And when we are Christians, that
-
means we want to be like Jesus, because that nature
-
is in us. And the nature of Christ is to
-
be like God, is to be God leaved as well,
-
So that nature in us is It.
-
Calls us to want to be like Jesus.
-
And in being like Jesus, the only way that you
-
can know how to be like Jesus is you got
-
to read the mind of Jesus. This tells us how
-
to be like Jesus. This tells us how to carry
-
ourselves like Jesus did. It speaks about how he carried himself.
-
It speaks about the attributes of him. It speaks about
-
the attributes that I'm not like him. You cannot be confused.
-
It tells us to modify.
-
Therefore, our members if we want to take on Christian values,
-
the Christian values are not going to occasion on cleanness
-
or nation. The fictions are comfort with this, even our doctriy,
-
our doltry, that is not the nature of Jesus.
-
If we're trying to be like him. If we're trying
-
to be like him, then.
-
We gotta have battles of compassion, mercy, long suffering, humbleness
-
of mind.
-
Forgiven us charity in our heart. That's Jesus. That is
-
a Christian should always be a Jesus. That should always be.
-
Our growth, our.
-
Focus as Christians. When we focus on the things above.
-
See what when we when we really.
-
Get this thing, we'll understand that it's not necessary to
-
focus on the on earthly things.
-
If we would just.
-
Focus on the things above. Guess what he handles all
-
of the earthly things. He said, So, I don't know
-
what you mean to your about the way. He told me,
-
seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and
-
I will hear all things onto.
-
The That's when he told me.
-
Did you hear it too?
-
The way here in this thing, focus on the things above.
-
Earthday things are come into bus and you can't hear
-
around people.
-
That can't focus like that, They mixed up your focus.
-
Even people claim to be saved.
-
I've been around people and say that that the message
-
longer than.
-
Me standing there talking.
-
About this, and I said, what do you worry about
-
all that?
-
What's the problem? And then I start telling him you
-
never need the law, say and he'll take him over
-
the he chills the problem and what's your father?
-
This is mean when you're falling down, you're working three jobs?
-
Why do you working three jobs? Why is a Christian
-
working free jobs? Why is the preacher fleecing the people
-
don't trust God? They don't trust God.
-
That's why they're doing everything sayvil God said do. Because
-
they don't trust God.
-
When they get up against the wall, they do what
-
they believe it's going to work for them, and not
-
what God says already works. See, they still trying to
-
win and we've already won. That should be our chooses
-
to be like Jesus a man, to be exactly like
-
Jesus in all our waysness, in all our ways, our
-
thoughts bring us to what is right in the sight
-
of God all the time, even though there are thoughts
-
of a wrongdoing.
-
Jesus I'll say, the Holy Ghost always kicks me. You
-
talk about me, but I think about doing something wrong, The.
-
Holy Ghost kicks him, always kicksing to tell me that's wrong.
-
If I argue with somebody, the Holy does kicks saying
-
and say you need a problem that. And I'll say,
-
I ain't do nothing wrong with because there's something wrong
-
with righteousness.
-
But I will not apologize to the difference.
-
No, ma'am, No someone all of my chooses. We are
-
designed clothe ourselves with the n that pleases God, and
-
that nature is to be like Jesus. That should be
-
our choose. Amen, Amen, God sa
