  1. Ain't you Jesus, He's good.

  2. I thank God for all that he does. Amen, He's

  3. a wonderful God. I felt so relaxed this morning when

  4. I got up. I don't normally sleep a long time,

  5. but for the amazing reason of God himself, I'm away.

  6. When I get up, Amen, I think and praise God

  7. for another opportunity to be here and to minister His word,

  8. which is.

  9. Truly an honor and a privilege.

  10. It truly is an honor and a privilege when you

  11. minister the word of God to people of God. Feeding

  12. God's people is no easy task, Amen, when you are

  13. connected to Him in such a way that you love

  14. the Lord and his people and just as not just

  15. his people, but the souls of people period. Because this

  16. is what it's all about. Our commission is to win

  17. the souls of people to the God. Amen. And in

  18. doing so we must know what the Word of God

  19. says in order that we may even win souls to God. Amen.

  20. So it is a privilege in an honor to be

  21. able to handle something so sacred to God, which is

  22. his word. And I do give honor to God today,

  23. who is the head of my life.

  24. Amen.

  25. I pray that he is the head of your life,

  26. or why else what you even be here? Amen?

  27. Come here to serve him.

  28. Amen, and serve him we shall while we're here, and

  29. not only while we're here. And I think a lot

  30. of people get mixed up. I'm just talking today, man.

  31. Just want to be clear. I'm going to probably.

  32. Be in this mode through the duration here.

  33. Amen.

  34. Amen.

  35. But the world is doing so much and even the

  36. people of God have taken their focus off of him

  37. until this day comes that we call Sunday, and we

  38. want to come on Sunday and give him service. But

  39. we don't give him service all week. I can't elaborate

  40. and even show you the seriousness of this. That must

  41. be more than a part of our life, not just

  42. a part, but.

  43. More than a part of our life.

  44. Yeah, I hear people say, well, I got a job.

  45. We would have a job without God.

  46. I got this to take care of You wouldn't have

  47. provisions to be able to take care of this and

  48. that without God, because.

  49. He's the provider.

  50. Even to the heathen, everything that heathen has, God is

  51. provided allowed it to be so a man. So it's

  52. without God we're not even able. And I learned a

  53. long time ago that even though some believe that they

  54. don't and don't want to contest to it, you need God.

  55. It's funny how when trials and tribulations come, especially strong

  56. troubles to some folks never stepped in the house of God,

  57. but the first thing they do is say, Lord, I

  58. know you don't know who I am. I know I've

  59. never prayed to you, but if you would just this time,

  60. I promise you I'll do this and that day. Lie.

  61. They just want something done for the most part anyway.

  62. But it's funny how we know who to turn to

  63. when things happen and when things are flowing so pretty

  64. good in our lives as we deem it to be so.

  65. But everything that glitter ain't gold. Amen. Amen.

  66. So in saying all of that, let me pray, Father,

  67. we thank you today for your presence in this house.

  68. We thank you Lord for your presence in us.

  69. We thank you for your presence always being with us

  70. in the name of Jesus. We thank you that you

  71. allow little lords to even come and be in such

  72. a holy, holy God's presence.

  73. We thank you for Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

  74. This is all that you do and more that we

  75. may be led back into your arms, and to worship,

  76. and to walk in your ways and not our ways,

  77. that we may hear those famous words at the end

  78. of it all and the beginning of what the end brings.

  79. Well done, good and faithful servant, We thank you, Lord.

  80. We thank you that you love us more than we

  81. could ever know. We thank you God that you give

  82. us understanding of your word today. God, that you'll touch

  83. our hearts in a different way today, as you would

  84. do in different circumstances and situations, that we may be lad.

  85. To go in the right direction.

  86. It is a life we have claimed to have given

  87. to you, and we ask that you help us continually

  88. to live that life according to what pleases you. Because

  89. there's a lot of us, Father God in the name

  90. of Jesus, a lot of us in the body believing

  91. that we supposed to show forth and please those that

  92. are of the humanity of the Church and be accepted

  93. in their sight, when all we's supposed to be is

  94. accepted in your sight. So, Lord's a lot of us

  95. are trying to live up to the expectation of other folks.

  96. There are preachers who want to preach like another preacher,

  97. and there are others who want to break down the

  98. Word of God like someone else, when all we need

  99. to do is to be like you, because that's what

  100. you called us to be. Help us, Father, for a

  101. lot of us have lost our minds in even our

  102. ways in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  103. I know your eyes are looking all over the world

  104. today on this sacred day. That folks come because they

  105. love you, and some come because it's just Sunday and

  106. that's what they do robotically. But I pray today you

  107. put something real in them. Lord, in the name of Jesus.

  108. We're losing a great number, but you are not surprised.

  109. You spoke at yourself.

  110. But there are some that can be found, and some

  111. that have been found can be saved and continue in

  112. this gospel.

  113. I pray that you strengthen him. And I pray that

  114. a word will.

  115. Be spoken to those who are listening over the airways,

  116. that it will grab a hold of those that don't

  117. know you, and they'll want to come to know you

  118. because this word has pricked their heart. And those that

  119. have walked away will come back God and hold on

  120. to You even tighter.

  121. And those that.

  122. Are holding on that you're strengthen their grip, that they

  123. won't let go. This is my prayer today for the

  124. people of God in Jesus' name.

  125. Amen in the book of Second Corinthians.

  126. And we'll go to Second Corinthians from me a scripture,

  127. chapter five and verse seventeen. And when you get there

  128. say amen. Chapter Second Corinthians, chapter five, verse seventeen. When

  129. you get there, say man, thank you. Amen. Are we

  130. all there? And I get a unified amen. The Bible

  131. speaks to us here in this seventeenth verse of the

  132. fifth chapter of the Second Corinthians.

  133. It's just therefore therefore.

  134. Well some say wherefore, and some say therefore, depending on

  135. what Bible you're looking.

  136. At, therefore a wherefore.

  137. If any man be in Christ, the word if is

  138. a big word in that sentence before the comma, he

  139. is a new creature. See if you It says, if

  140. you're in Christ, you're a new creature. If you are

  141. in Christ, you are a new creature.

  142. What does that mean? You are?

  143. You are a new creation? You have been You're not

  144. the same anymore. You've been created new. If you are

  145. in Christ, you have you are not the same as

  146. you used to be. There has been a recreation of

  147. who you used to be.

  148. And now you're new.

  149. You're not old anymore, for the old things have passed away,

  150. because now you're a new creature. Whatever you did back

  151. then not accounted to the new creature in you, and

  152. old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

  153. And in the sixth chapter of Second Corinthians, it says

  154. in verse one, we then, after all of this, you've

  155. been a new creature and been created, and all the

  156. old things have passed away. It says we then, as

  157. workers together with him beseech thank you also that you

  158. receive not the grace of God in vain. For he

  159. said I have heard THEE. He said, I have heard THEE.

  160. And this scripture comes from Isaiah forty nine and eight.

  161. Right here in Second Corinthians, chapter six and verse six.

  162. This is a quote from Isaiah forty nine and eight.

  163. I have heard THEE in a time accepted, and in

  164. the day of salvation have our scorned THEE. That means

  165. He's helped them talking to Jesus. Behold now is the

  166. accepted time. Behold now is the day of salvation. Now,

  167. right now, as you sat in this house today now amen,

  168. And as we go on to the book of Ephesians

  169. chapter four, and remembering all that we've already heard, we

  170. move over to Ephesians chapter four and starting at verse

  171. twenty one Ephesus chapter four and verse twenty one, the

  172. Bible says, well, let me see here. Yeah, let's start

  173. in verse twenty one. If so be that you have

  174. heard him, and you have and have been taught by him,

  175. as the truth is in Jesus, that you put off

  176. concerning the formal conversations the old man, which is corrupt

  177. according to the deceit for us, and be renewed in

  178. the spirit of your mind.

  179. And that you put and be renewed.

  180. And I got the Lord just says say that again,

  181. and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, not

  182. the naturalness of your mind, but the spirit of your mind.

  183. And that you put on the new Man, which after

  184. God is created in righteousness and true holiness. It says,

  185. which after God, this is the new Man you're putting on,

  186. which is after God, is created in righteousness and true holiness.

  187. So when you put on this new Man, then you're

  188. created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying

  189. speaking every man truth with his neighbor, for we are

  190. members of one of another. Be ye angry and sin not.

  191. Let not the sun go down upon your raft. Neither

  192. give place to the devil. So it's telling you don't

  193. give an opportunity to the devil. Let him that stole,

  194. steal no more, but rather let him label working with

  195. his hands and things which is.

  196. Good that he may have to give him that needed.

  197. So you're working honestly to in laboring to get stuff,

  198. not just for yourself, but in order to be able

  199. to help someone that's in need. Let no corruption, community,

  200. no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth. Don't be

  201. using all that profanity and back biting and all of that,

  202. but that which is good to the use of the edifying,

  203. because all of that other stuff don't edify the body

  204. of Christ. Back biting, cursing, using profanity, because you want

  205. to speak that which is good to the use of

  206. the edifying, that it may menace the grace unto the hears,

  207. and grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are.

  208. Sealed until the day of redemption.

  209. Let all bitterness, all of it, and writhe and anger

  210. and clamor and evil speaking be put away from you

  211. with all malice. Why because you've been created new and

  212. in God. And be ye kind, kind one to another,

  213. tender hearted forgiving one another. Why even as God, for

  214. Christ's sake had forgiven you, can the church say, man,

  215. you can be seated in the house of the Lord.

  216. And this thought of mine would come from verse twenty

  217. four of the fourth chapter of Ephesians, where it says,

  218. and that ye put on the new Man, which after

  219. God is created in righteousness and true holiness. And I'm

  220. hinging on holiness. And the thought that I have is

  221. holiness is your witness. Holiness is your witness, Amen. Holiness

  222. is your witness to the world. Holiness is not held up.

  223. And it's not hard to do in this controlled setting.

  224. It's not folks come into the house of God. You've

  225. heard me say many times that people. A lot of

  226. people are idoltrous, not adulterous, adolterrous people because they put

  227. on a kind of character of being good only because

  228. they know better than the act of food in the

  229. house of God, even though some still do, but they

  230. do no better.

  231. Amen.

  232. So it's not hard to uphold in this control setting

  233. an act of holiness. But what happens outside of here?

  234. What is holiness to us when we are outside of

  235. this house? Because the sum is nothing when they're inside

  236. the house. But the those that are claiming to have

  237. the Holy Spirit, which means there should be holiness in

  238. us because we have that spirit, Amen, And because we

  239. are a new creature in Christ. Holiness is our witness, Amen.

  240. But how often do we remember that on a daily basis?

  241. This is the problem. This is a problem in the

  242. House of God today. We're not upholding holiness. Holiness is

  243. not a clapping and a praising and a stomping and

  244. a speaking in tongues. Holiness is a lifestyle. It's the

  245. way you live before God. I said God, not ma'am.

  246. We got to quit being concerned about what people think

  247. about us, how they see us, and live like God

  248. would have us to meal before him. We don't live

  249. this life no more before men. We used to, But

  250. when we gave our life to God, we live our

  251. life in the presence of His. Okay, that's what Jesus did,

  252. and if you got Jesus in you, that's what you

  253. should do, every one of us all over the world,

  254. not in just in this house, but even those that

  255. are listening. Our lives are to be lived according to

  256. the lifestyle that is pleasing to God.

  257. I don't care what Sister Bobo or Johnny be say.

  258. It's God that I'm concerned about how I live my life.

  259. People can think of any in all kinds of ways

  260. you should live, and never live their life the way

  261. they want you to live yours. Many people in the

  262. church are confused about holiness. See, it don't take much

  263. for us to pet our feet, clap our hands. It's

  264. a good thing because praise is always a good thing

  265. to God. But some of us won't even give God

  266. the praise. Some of us won't even take the commandment

  267. of give God a hand clap of praise. Some of

  268. us just sit there, walk around like they never heard it.

  269. Why some missing, some.

  270. Missing, We don't even.

  271. I could be in public and somebody can say me, well,

  272. praise the Lord.

  273. I say hallelujah.

  274. But I was teaching that thing Deecon, because I.

  275. Would tell people sometimes praise the Lord.

  276. They say praise the Lord. I said, praise the Lord.

  277. They'll say praise the Lord. I said, I said, hallelujah.

  278. Somebody gotta do it, even you a commandment you give me.

  279. Woman, ain't nobody praising him? Are we listening? I we're

  280. just in the a formable conditioning of of of what

  281. you tradition and custom. Because I said praise the Lord,

  282. you think it's applicable for you to say it too.

  283. Now I'm telling you to do something. Whoa simple enough,

  284. they say for a child to understand. Ah, Lord, thank you.

  285. It's all right to give him praise. But there are

  286. those who know to do it and still won't do it.

  287. But God declares and decrees that we walk in holiness.

  288. It's a decree of his. It's a commandment of his.

  289. Because he said in his words that I am holy.

  290. He letting you know so be ye Allo, so holy?

  291. How you got saved. Therefore, if any man be in Christ,

  292. he is a new creature.

  293. All things have passed away.

  294. And behold, pay attention, take hold, give directive to all things.

  295. I become new, Amen, somebody. In other words, when all

  296. things become new, there got to be a difference in

  297. your walk of Christian life has to be a difference.

  298. So since you have become a Christian, I'm saying it

  299. in the terms of you said so, and those that

  300. are listening said so because I asked you you're Christian.

  301. I'm a Christian? You said so. I didn't say you

  302. was one.

  303. I don't really call people Christians because I don't know.

  304. I don't really call I don't really save people are

  305. saved if I don't know. I don't call everybody a

  306. brother in the sense of they are a brother.

  307. If you can understand what I'm saying.

  308. Hey, man, So since you have become a Christian and

  309. say you are, you say you saved, and you have

  310. acknowledged that Jesus Christ is the head of your life.

  311. You know, I've seen so many programs where people get

  312. up and say, I think God for this, Jesus Christ, God,

  313. who is the head of my life? And then when

  314. they get home they smoking, you black so and so

  315. they drinking. When is he the head of your life

  316. when you in the temple, Because if he's the head

  317. of your life, that means he's the leader of your life.

  318. That means he's the lord of your life. You can't

  319. call him a lord if he's not really lord. Most

  320. folks call him lord and don't know what that means.

  321. I'm just talking to you today and you get excited.

  322. Good if you don't not good cause the word of

  323. God should excite you no matter how come. But since

  324. you say you saved, and you have acknowledged that Jesus

  325. Christ is the head of your life, there are some

  326. things that go along with your saved. You're saved, and

  327. holiness is one of them things. When you say you saved,

  328. there's some things that go along with say and you saved.

  329. You can say you saved, but if these things don't

  330. follow behind what you've said, I have a hard time believing.

  331. You really saved.

  332. Because holiness is one of the things that go along

  333. with not just saying you saved, but being saved and

  334. holiness in case you didn't know, and some folks don't

  335. know that holiness cost Yes, holiness cost you something, and

  336. sometimes what it costs you is where you go. It's

  337. going to cost you where you go. There's some places

  338. you shouldn't go if you save and you hold you

  339. shouldn't be in the strip club. You shouldn't be in

  340. the liquor store. See see I went in the liquor

  341. store because you know that's where they sell those.

  342. Extra long snickers.

  343. But the dollar store next to the liquor store. Why

  344. ain't you going there and get one, and it's.

  345. Cheaper than the liquor store.

  346. You didn't go in the dollar store because you're lying.

  347. Jiff Bean was calling you in the liquor store. Vocal

  348. was calling you in the liquor store.

  349. Jack Daniels was standing on the counter hollering at you.

  350. You didn't even see the box of Snickers because it

  351. was right there when you first walked in, and you

  352. walked all the way up to the counter. Holiness will

  353. cost you something. It will cost you where you go.

  354. Here's one.

  355. We don't like this one. We don't like this one.

  356. Oh, say we don't like this one. Come on, work

  357. with me. Say we don't like this one. Say we

  358. don't like this one. Everybody, we don't like this one. Yeah.

  359. Obedience is better than sacrifice, especially when a man of

  360. God tell you to say something anyway.

  361. It will cost you who you run with. Let you

  362. think about that one.

  363. That's a sea life from Psalms. It will cost you

  364. who you run with. But that's my girl. What does

  365. light have to do with darkness? It will cost you

  366. what you do. And there are some things that entail holiness.

  367. It is a putting off and a putting on so

  368. you must understand that there are some things, if not

  369. a whole lot of things in your life that you're

  370. going to have to put off to put this on.

  371. It's not a question of what to put on. It's

  372. just a question of what you have to put off.

  373. And you are the only one that can answer that question.

  374. I can't tell you who to run with. I can't

  375. tell you where to go. You have to have enough

  376. holiness in your mind, because you say, you say to

  377. know what's right and what's wrong. Amen, So there are

  378. some things you have to put off, and there are

  379. some things you must put on. You know who you

  380. should hang with and who you shouldn't. They'll tell on themselves.

  381. You gonna have to ask them. You gonna have to say,

  382. look at Jimmy, Uh, I'm wondering if I should hang

  383. out with you or not.

  384. You ain't got to ask Jimmy.

  385. When you see Jimmy lying is stealing, and you see

  386. Jimmy Foanny Katon and committing, you see Jimmy committing all

  387. kind of evenness, you don't have the question should you

  388. be hanging out with Jimmy?

  389. You see Jimmy lying all the time, You ain't got a.

  390. Question should you be hanging out with him when you

  391. see Jimmy disrespecting his parents. You ain't got a question

  392. whether or not you should hang out with Jimmy.

  393. You ain't got to question that.

  394. See, if you got the Holy Ghost, which will cause

  395. you to be holy, the Holy Ghost.

  396. Gonna tell you. It's just a matter of if you gonna listen.

  397. See, the Holy Ghost tell us a lot of stuff

  398. to do and what not to do, with to say,

  399. and what not to say.

  400. But the Holy Ghost.

  401. Does not go against our will. It just tells us

  402. it's up to us to do it and not do it.

  403. It's not up to the Holy Ghost. It's only up

  404. to the Holy Ghost to do his job, not ours. Amen.

  405. So you're gonna have to put off some things, and

  406. you're gonna have to put on some things. And it

  407. ain't rocket science who you're supposed to be with or

  408. be around, because the Bible has a whole lot of

  409. answers for you on that be not unequally yoke with unbelievers. Amen.

  410. What does light have to do with darkness?

  411. Amen? It got a lot of answers for you. It

  412. ain't like you can be ignorant of the fact that

  413. what the way you should be living according to this book.

  414. When you say you holy.

  415. Now answers in here, houser, how am I supposed to live?

  416. Holy? It's in here. It's in here. I can't tell you.

  417. I can tell you what it is says. It is

  418. up to you believe what I say that and make

  419. and know that I'm telling you what it actually says

  420. if you want to trust me. But if you want

  421. to trust God, you better get it out of here

  422. and then you'll know. Oh, that's exactly what he said. Okay,

  423. he trustworthy. Let us look at chapter six and verse one.

  424. Paul here begins to admonish the people when he says

  425. where then where it says we then we then as workers.

  426. That means you're working on time together. We're doing it

  427. together with him. Beseech you also that you receive not

  428. the grace of God in vain. Paul here is saying,

  429. I'm begging you, I'm begging of you not to receive

  430. it in vain. And if you pay attention, that's where

  431. we all are in this day and time.

  432. We are receiving the grace of God in vain.

  433. The church, most of the church has received the grace

  434. of God in Vain. A lot of preachers have whatever

  435. title they hold. Like I said, we all have titles.

  436. The bishop, and the bishop ain't the only woman the

  437. title the evangelist, the preacher, of the teacher, the apostles.

  438. They ain't done only with titles. You got a title too.

  439. Your title is I'm a child of God. And that's

  440. a title you have to live up to. That's a

  441. five folk ministry. Title is a title that they have

  442. to live up to as an ackmoonishment and the edification,

  443. edifying of the Church of God.

  444. And you have to live up to your title.

  445. As the same way as the edification and edifying the

  446. House of God and Jesus Christ. Why because when you

  447. call yourself that, that means that you are supposed to

  448. be edifying the House of God and not tearing it

  449. down and not lying about it and not being deceitful

  450. about it for your own selfish desires.

  451. Amen.

  452. So here the church has perceived the grace of God

  453. in Vain, because you got preaches up in ribbing people

  454. because they have taken the grace of God in vain.

  455. People lying to the people, because they have received the

  456. grace of God in Vain, and then guess what happens

  457. You take that very lie to the streets and to

  458. other people because you have not looked in the Word

  459. of God and studied and learned it for yourself. This

  460. is where the church is today because people are trying

  461. to use God's grace to cover any and everything that

  462. they want to do. God has given us grace, and

  463. we're saved by grace through faith, not through the works.

  464. And Paul here in this scripture says we should not

  465. receive the grace in vain. In other words, it's the

  466. unmerited favor of God. We didn't deserve it. We didn't

  467. deserve his favor. We did not deserve his favor. We

  468. did not even I could not even earn his favor.

  469. And you couldn't even pay for it. But because God

  470. has given it to you, to us, it was not

  471. designed for us to operate any kind of way we

  472. want to just because God has given us grace. Grace

  473. cost you something. Oh yeah, we think we just were

  474. free to go. But the life for Christ is gonna

  475. cost you. See say ain't gonna suffer. It is a

  476. suffering when you cannot hang out with the same people

  477. you used to enjoy hanging out with knowing that they're

  478. not in the body of Christ, knowing that they are

  479. still doing the evil things you used to do with them,

  480. knowing that it does not look like they're trying to

  481. come out of them ways.

  482. And if you are in their.

  483. Uh space, you should be telling them what happened to you.

  484. Because they're questioning it.

  485. Deeck, why you don't hang out? What is no more? Man?

  486. I don't roll like that no more? That's why, well,

  487. why you don't roll like that no more? Man?

  488. I got Jesus, Man, Jesus man.

  489. I want to live and not die. Man, Jesus, I

  490. want to go to heaven now. I can't go to

  491. heaven the way I used to live, y'all. I ain't

  492. going to heaven the whay y'all living. Y'all scared to

  493. tell folks that y'all ain't going to heaven where y'all living, y'all,

  494. don't them folks gonna get mad And.

  495. They don't get upset.

  496. That's because you're concerned about what they'll think about you.

  497. And you ought to be living your life in the

  498. sight of God, not in their sights. I don't care

  499. what they say. I tell folks, I'll tell you don't

  500. go to hell. You don't change your ways, You're gonna

  501. go to hell. If you don't change your way, you

  502. can't say I'm gonna go to Hell. I said, an't.

  503. And see they get so upset they ain't even heard

  504. what you said. I ain't saying you was going to hell.

  505. I say, if you don't change your ways, you're going

  506. to hell. If you don't receive Jesus Christ, your Lord

  507. and save it, you're going to hell. If I change

  508. the way I'm living now, I'm gonna go too. I

  509. ain't gonna go with you, but I'm gonna go to.

  510. Grace costs something.

  511. You know why, Because it wasn't you or me that

  512. hung on that cross. Mm hmm. It wasn't you and

  513. me that hung on that cross. It wasn't you and

  514. me that hung on the cross. To save anybody, I

  515. keep tell him for a quick run around to why

  516. I'm trying to save him. You can't save him. I'm

  517. trying to save her.

  518. You can't save her.

  519. You can lead her to salvation, but you can't save her.

  520. You can't save him. And if you keep trying too long,

  521. you gonna fall short.

  522. You know how wise God is?

  523. Does anybody know just how wise God is? God God

  524. so wise He tells you to shake the dust off,

  525. because if you don't shake the dust off, the Word

  526. of God said, you don't wind up like them, you

  527. gonna get so aggravated. Then you're gonna start You're gonna

  528. get so aggravated and upset, you gonna start sitting. You

  529. ought to be just happy to say you need Jesus.

  530. You can make him the lord in your life. You

  531. can have him to save your soul so you don't

  532. make it to hell, and you'll make it to heaven

  533. because Hell wasn't you no way.

  534. I don't know why you want to go.

  535. And then they'll say, get out of my face. Who

  536. makes you think you going to heaven? Will you have

  537. a blessed day? You ain't got set there and argue

  538. with them, you ain't got set there, and let them

  539. upset you, because that's what you're gonna do. They can't

  540. upset you. You're gonna let them upset you. Because some

  541. people get so frustrated because you're not listening to my truth.

  542. Well it ain't your truth, it's God's.

  543. And once you told it to him, you have been

  544. relinquished from your your job. You've been relinkish for what

  545. God from your mission. You have done what you're supposed

  546. to do. Your holiness has witnessed. Don't mean they'll receive it,

  547. the Bible said. The Bible says, just because you show

  548. people mercy, and don't mean they're gonna show you mercy.

  549. And we get confused about that. But I was good

  550. to him.

  551. I did everything him. I'm the one that helped her

  552. to get this and help her get that. See, we

  553. should never get to that point because we're now allowing

  554. our good to be evil. Spoken up, don't let your

  555. good be evil. Unless you didn't do it in good intentions,

  556. then your right to say what you're saying. But if

  557. you did it in good intentions, as holiness what cause

  558. you to do, then you don't have the right to

  559. go that way. But if you didn't, hey, you can

  560. go that way.

  561. You can go that way.

  562. Grace cost you're something. The blood stained cross is there

  563. because Jesus. It is there because the grace of God.

  564. It's because God showed us unmerited favor and allowed Jesus

  565. Chriss Christ.

  566. To go to the cross.

  567. The blood stained is the grace and mercy of God

  568. for each and every one of us. Amen, Our Lord

  569. and our Savior, Our Lord. You notice it's our Lord

  570. and our savior. If he's just your savior, then you're missing.

  571. If he's just, he can't even be your lord unless

  572. he is your savior.

  573. Say, don't let me go in that way.

  574. But our Lord and our Savior, who shed his blood,

  575. not our blood, not goat's blood, does.

  576. Bullocks because God was set up with that.

  577. That was a temporary the lamb of God shed his

  578. blood that we might be saved.

  579. If somebody say, if.

  580. We are saved at all, he shed his blood that

  581. we might be saved.

  582. Listen, that we might be saved.

  583. What he's saying.

  584. Why he's saying that, Preacher, Well, I'm glad y'all asked.

  585. That we might be saved. And I say that because

  586. we're not going to be saved until we endure to

  587. the end in salvation. I ain't understand that. Okay, when

  588. Jesus come back for you, you have to be found

  589. working toward being saved. You cannot be on the left

  590. when he comes back. You have to, like Paul says,

  591. when he comes back for you, you have to be

  592. found in the mode of striving for the righteousness of God.

  593. You can't be caught hidden and missing that you might

  594. be saved. Are you with me? He gotta catch you

  595. in the mold of living right before him. He see

  596. him coming. You get hold on. I was just using

  597. fifteen words of a fantity. Let me repent. No, no, no.

  598. Not gonna happen. You have to be striving when he comes.

  599. You'll never be.

  600. Perfect because he said he's gonna come for the perfect church.

  601. He's the one that's gonna make you perfect.

  602. That's when you get that new body.

  603. But you have to be found striving for perfection. You're

  604. striving to be perfect. Some things you're gonna conquer. I'm perfect.

  605. I don't use the fantity no more. I'm perfect. I

  606. don't drink no more. I'm perfect. I don't smoke dope

  607. no more. I'm perfect.

  608. I don't use crack no more.

  609. I don't use rock cocaine no more.

  610. I'm perfect. I don't hate these folks no more. Taken

  611. love folks like an Y too. Say ain't perfect there yet,

  612. But I'm.

  613. Striving to love folks like an R two.

  614. I didn't say it perfect right there.

  615. See see something you ain't You ain't here, And that's

  616. why you gotta be found striving for perfection. When it

  617. comes that you might be saved. If we are saved

  618. at all, a whole lot of people walk around saying

  619. they saved.

  620. They ain't saved. They ain't a bit more saved.

  621. Than the man in the moon.

  622. Well, I just need deliveries.

  623. Okay, you've been like this for ten years. When's it

  624. gonna come? We ain't gonna come as the as the

  625. sorry indivisual. Steve Harvey always says, he got me.

  626. I'm just under construction.

  627. Well I'm trying to understand something. That house you bought

  628. from Tyler Perry was under construction.

  629. You put it under construction.

  630. But you got done with it in a period of time.

  631. When you gonna be built, you built. The house is

  632. done with. Construction is finished. When you gonna start being built,

  633. you ain't even pulled your foundation yet. You got a

  634. smoking room in your house, got a you got a

  635. a what's that called a room for a temperature room

  636. for all the wine and alcohol.

  637. You got in your house.

  638. See, just because you say you saved, your holiness is

  639. gonna witness if you got any holiness at all. Hey man,

  640. if you're saved it all and so Paul here is

  641. telling us we are not received the grace in vain.

  642. The grace in vain will It's easy to.

  643. Put on a show. Whole lot of folk put on

  644. a show. They dance from that back door alway across here.

  645. They'll run all the way around the church, bust through

  646. the door, run around the building, come back, sweating, fall

  647. out on the floor, speak in tongues. It's easy to

  648. put on the show, and it's easy to act like

  649. something that you're not. A whole lot of folks. Do

  650. you ever seen them imitators? They can imitate almost anybody,

  651. and if you wasn't looking at them, you would think

  652. who you were actually speaking to. Because it's easy to

  653. have a gift to do it. It's easy for us

  654. to act like somebody else. A lot of us be

  655. trying to act like somebody else and lose our own

  656. self acting like them. Never know who we are. So

  657. many people in the House of God that mastered up.

  658. Can y'all see my face?

  659. For what y'all.

  660. See is who are claiming to be?

  661. But this is who I really am. So many people

  662. are masked up. A whole lot of these folks down

  663. out the poor pits. They massed up to the heart,

  664. They massed up to the one hundred percent. They massed

  665. up like they are a true man of God. But

  666. so many in the church today are massed up. See,

  667. because this goes a whole lot further than we think. See,

  668. holiness goes a whole lot further than we think. It

  669. is concerning service in the House of God.

  670. When you're in the House.

  671. Of God on service day like Sunday, the holiness goes

  672. a whole lot further than the service in the church.

  673. And that causes a service to actually be holy.

  674. You got people up.

  675. In the choir singing and mad at one another. Holiness

  676. is short at that point. People sitting there talking about

  677. somebody else and what they got on. They sitting on

  678. this side of the church, looking on this side of

  679. the church. Folks back on their phone, texting and texting

  680. people back and forth, Folks back their sleep. Holiness goes

  681. a whole lot further that what we call holiness in

  682. service in church. Amen, Holiness is a lifestyle. It's not

  683. how loud you praise, or how high you jump, or

  684. what you do when your feet hit the ground. Holiness

  685. is living a god fearing life before the Lord.

  686. Not the people. They will see your holiness.

  687. The people will see your life, But it's really to

  688. be lived before the Lord, our Lord, and save with

  689. Jesus Christ. Do you not know His approval is all

  690. you need. His approval is all you need. I don't

  691. even need my wife's approval, she don't need mine. All

  692. the approval we need for the life that we live

  693. is what God approves of.

  694. That's all approval that we need. That's all you know

  695. why I'm glad?

  696. Yeah, because people are always going to have their own

  697. thoughts of how you should live and what it takes

  698. and don't take. They gonna have that thought for you.

  699. They know what it take and don't think for you

  700. when they don't even know what it takes and don't

  701. take for themselves. They know what it takes and don't

  702. think and don't take you, but they don't know if

  703. I themselves, They know what it takes for you. They

  704. know what you need to do, even when they don't

  705. know what they need to do. I call those folks

  706. living two lives but ain't even living none. They know

  707. and they'll tell you sometime. He don't take all that.

  708. You ain't gotta be in church every Sunday, Lisa, Come

  709. on now, you ain't.

  710. Got to be in church every Sunday. It don't take

  711. all that. We're finna come over.

  712. You're talking about you're gonna read your Bible. Come on now,

  713. you can read your Bible anytime. They don't take all that.

  714. You ain't got me that holy.

  715. People say that you think you so holy? No, I

  716. know it. I know it.

  717. All of my actions.

  718. Hold it now.

  719. Sometimes I slip fall, but I get up and shake

  720. the dust off, get back in the mood. Oh yeah,

  721. because I live in a fallible body. That's not an

  722. excuse even it's just a fact. They'll tell you don't

  723. take all of that, But it does take all of

  724. that and more in this days and time, because the

  725. days and times are seriously evil, and.

  726. Holding on the holiness.

  727. In this dispensation of time looks like you need to

  728. have a gorilla grip.

  729. To keep it.

  730. Why because so much is being thrown at God's people

  731. from the world. And when the world threw trumpet us,

  732. a lot of the people of God are scared abt

  733. their social security, They food stamps, they're living and living

  734. their living life. Uh uh uh covid through death at

  735. the people of God.

  736. So much is being thrown at us.

  737. We have to hold on no matter what's being thrown

  738. at us to holiness. It don't matter death being thrown

  739. at us, children acting of food being thrown at us.

  740. Why isn't her husband cutting up been thrown at us?

  741. Our friends won't come into the light being thrown at us,

  742. prices rising being thrown at us. But we're gonna do now. God,

  743. you gonna do what you've been doing. You're gonna trust me.

  744. We'm gonna do now.

  745. Gas fight at us.

  746. You're gonna do what you've been doing, trust me. But

  747. bread ten fifty nine, you're gonna do what you've been doing.

  748. So much being thrown at God's people from the world

  749. and the church itself, trying to tear down your holiness,

  750. trying to turn you around from holy.

  751. Living the church, the church.

  752. That's why Jamar Brian got up in there and stood

  753. before that congregation of people, thousands of them, and said,

  754. Jesus Christ, an sent of his life, what's wrong trying

  755. to tear down your holiness?

  756. He's a liar and a heathen.

  757. God said in the book of Psalms, and also in

  758. the Second Corinthians, chapter six and verse two, where he says,

  759. for he said, I have heard THEE in a time accepted,

  760. and in the day of salvation have our scorn. The

  761. scorn means that he helped THEE.

  762. Behold now is the accepted Now.

  763. Is the accepted time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.

  764. And when you look in Second Corinthians, I mean Psalms. Rather,

  765. that was second crinthis Psalms chapter.

  766. Two, way back in Psalms.

  767. We heard it right there in the New Testament, but

  768. way back in Psalms chapter two and verse eight. The

  769. Lord speak to us here saying, if I find it,

  770. he says, ask of me, and I will, and I

  771. shall give thee the heathen.

  772. I'm gonna give you.

  773. The gentiles the way he said, ask of me, and

  774. I should give you the heathen. The nations are the

  775. gentiles for thy inheritance, and the out of most parts

  776. of the earth for thy possession. So you can't let

  777. the Church turn you around. Because God said to Jesus

  778. that he has heard his prayer for the loss of

  779. this world at a time at a time, and this

  780. world is at a loss right now, at a time

  781. where God was showing his mercy, and at a time

  782. where salvation should be extended to the world, and I

  783. scorned them. He has sustained Jesus to make salvation known

  784. at an acceptable time, and that time is now right now,

  785. because Jesus has already come. So now there's the time

  786. for salvation and holy living. Right now today starts. It's

  787. a new day, and it starts right now. Thus the

  788. Second Corinthians, chapter six and verse one through ten, we then,

  789. as workers together with him, beseech you also that you

  790. receive not the grace of God in vain. For he said,

  791. I have heard THEE in the time accepted in the

  792. day of salvation, have I scorned thee? Behold now is

  793. the acceptable time. Behold now is the day of salvation.

  794. Given no offense in anything, that the ministry be not blamed,

  795. but in all things, approving ourselves as ministers of God

  796. in much patience and affections and necessity in distress. Now,

  797. he says, now is the time in strikes and imprisonments,

  798. in termals, in labels, in watchings, in fastings. I gotta

  799. see lad right there, we won't stop eating, but parness,

  800. by knowledge, by lone, suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost,

  801. by love unformed, by the word of Truth, by the

  802. power of God, by the armor of rightingness, on the

  803. right hand and on the left, by honor and dishonor,

  804. by evil report and good report, as thisceivers, and yet truth,

  805. as unknown and yet well known, as dying. And behold,

  806. we live as chesting and not killed, as sorrowful, yet

  807. always rejoicing, as poor, yet making many rich, as having nothing,

  808. and yet possessing all things. Amen. And when you look

  809. at that, there are twenty seven characters, divided in the

  810. three groups of nine each.

  811. In verse four and.

  812. Five, his thoughts are on his trials. Amen. On verses

  813. six and seven there are on his divine provision, and

  814. on in verses eight and ten they're on his victory

  815. over circumstances. You can't allow nothing to get in the

  816. way of your holiness and your holy living towards God.

  817. Nothing.

  818. Everybody know what, nothing is right. So if you.

  819. Won't, and that's what it has to happen. You have

  820. to want.

  821. I want you to. But it ain't my wonting that's

  822. gonna work. My wonting won't work. It's my work. My

  823. wonting may help to push you towards wanting to but

  824. it's gonna work when you want to. Let me say

  825. it like that. So, if you want to live holy,

  826. it's gonna.

  827. Cost you something.

  828. So whatever it is, whatever it is, or whoever it

  829. is sometimes it ain't always or what sometimes as a

  830. who if it's in the way, you're gonna have to

  831. let it go, if it's affecting your holy living. If

  832. it's in the way and affecting your holy living, you're

  833. gonna have to let it go. Would you not rather

  834. let it go and hold on to Jesus or would

  835. you rather let Jesus go and hold on the worst

  836. not causing you not to be holy. That's a question

  837. you have to ask for yourself. You have to ask

  838. yourself and answer it yourself. See God, as I said

  839. before he saw us, he's so wonderful, he's so righteous

  840. and so right, and he's so good. And he sold,

  841. he sold to the fact that he doesn't want us

  842. to be complicated. He didn't just say live holy. He

  843. didn't just say live holy. It's like me saying they're

  844. go to bike ride it. No, there go to bike,

  845. let me show you how to ride it. There, go

  846. to bike, let me show you how to ride it.

  847. He didn't just.

  848. Say live holy without telling you how.

  849. He told you to live holy?

  850. And he told you how to live holy? How he

  851. tell us? Well, y'all, I'm just into it today. Y'all

  852. want to know?

  853. All right?

  854. Then? Okay, let me get with it. Y'all want to

  855. y'all want to know how he told you? Well, if

  856. you look at the Book of Hepees in chapter four, amen, and.

  857. Let me see where I'm gonna start, and you start

  858. with verse let's see.

  859. Twenty one. Okay, Yeah, let's start in verse twenty one.

  860. It says, if so be that.

  861. This is the way I want to start. Yeah, let's

  862. start right now. If so be that you have heard him? Okay, now,

  863. y'all raise your hand. If you heard him work with me?

  864. You got a hand. Don't you raise your hand? If

  865. you heard it so about Jesus, not me.

  866. Have you heard it? You've heard him before? Right?

  867. Okay, then that's why I said it's now. Don't raise

  868. your hand if you ain't heard him, because it said

  869. if that's the condition, have you heard him, you can

  870. raise your hand.

  871. You haven't heard him. Don't raise your hand.

  872. If so be that you have heard him and have

  873. been taught by him, as the truth is in him.

  874. How many people know that, how many people have heard

  875. and have been taught the truth by him? Raise your hand? Okay,

  876. we move on now, because he's telling you how to

  877. be holy, hey man, So I'm making sure that you

  878. heard it. So that means if you're not living holy,

  879. at least you heard it. So he says that you

  880. put off concerning the former conversation m hm, which means

  881. the way you used to act. It ain't so much

  882. as what you're speaking, it's your conduct. So put off,

  883. So that you put off the concerning the former conversation

  884. the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceit

  885. for lust, not lust with an s.

  886. There's a whole lot of it, and.

  887. Be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that

  888. you put on the new Man, which after God is

  889. created in righteousness and true holiness. As I'm reading it,

  890. some of y'all gonna remember I read this in the beginning,

  891. wherefore putting away lying speaking every man truth with his neighbor,

  892. For we are members one of another, y'all heard it

  893. the first time, I said, but see second sometime the second.

  894. Time you hear it real good?

  895. Be ye angry? Are you listening and saying not? Are

  896. you listening be angry and saying not? God just say

  897. you couldn't be angry. He just said. If you're money angry,

  898. don't sin. Let not the sun go down upon your wrath.

  899. That means if you do that, you're done held onto

  900. that anger too long, Because if you do. Verse twenty

  901. seven says, need to give place to the devil. See

  902. when you hold on to it's too long. You're giving

  903. the devil opportunity to work you over.

  904. Let him just.

  905. Stole, steal no more, but rather let him label work

  906. with his hands the thing which is good that he

  907. may have to give to him that needed. Let no

  908. corrupt communication proceed out of the mouth, but that which

  909. is good to the use of edifying, that it may

  910. minister grace unto the hearers, and grieve not the Holy

  911. Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed until the day

  912. of redemption, that all bitterness and wrath, and anger, and

  913. clamor and evil speaking be put away from you with

  914. all malice, and be ye kind one to another tender hearted,

  915. not hard hearted, but tender hearted, forgiving one another, even

  916. as God, for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. And when

  917. you forget to forgive, folks, remember when you forget, remember.

  918. That God forgave you when you forget. Amen.

  919. So the Bible here in these verses are giving us

  920. a guideline as how to lay aside the old man. Amen.

  921. That's what it's doing. These verses addressed the life we

  922. should be living. Putting off the old man, to renounce

  923. your pre conversion life and sin, and be renewed in

  924. your mind, to be constantly charging, constantly being brought more

  925. and more in line with God's viewpoint. Putting on the

  926. new man, assuming new character, new nature, new conduct, life

  927. and conversion, always constantly being reminded of the holiness that

  928. your life must witness. Amen. And God gave us particular

  929. guidelines as how the old man can be laid aside,

  930. and how the new man can be assumed in our

  931. daily living, not just today, in our daily living. Amen.

  932. Five things he told us here in our daily living, Aymen.

  933. He tells us the guidelines of how to lay aside

  934. the old man Verse twenty two, and and how.

  935. The new man can be assumed in daily living. In

  936. verse twenty five, it.

  937. Gives us five sins to be discarded and the virtue

  938. that are given to replace them, and the motive for

  939. such an exchange. The virtue is the excellence that we're

  940. supposed to take on the new man.

  941. That's virtue.

  942. So it gives us five sins to be discarded, get

  943. rid of them, and then tells us to put on virtue,

  944. which is excellence, hey man, and.

  945. Then the motive for such a change.

  946. Let me help you, and then I'm done. Lying is

  947. to be replaced by truth telling, since Christians are fellow members.

  948. That's Verse twenty five.

  949. Sinful anger is to.

  950. Be replaced by righteous indignation that the devil may not

  951. be given opportunity. Verse twenty six and twenty seven. Theft

  952. is to be replaced by honest work in order that

  953. one may have the means to meet the needs of others.

  954. Verse twenty eight. Foul language profanity is to be replaced

  955. by gracious speech that may that your speech may edify amen,

  956. not tear down, but build up and edify others.

  957. And not grieve the spirit of God.

  958. Because when you use sanity and when you use speech

  959. that is not gracious to God, you grieve the spirit

  960. of God. Verse twenty nine and thirty. Resentment and raft

  961. are to be given way to kindness and forgiveness since

  962. God has forgiven us. Amen. Verse thirty one and thirty two.

  963. These five things God has given us in these verses

  964. is a guideline to the witness of the holiness that's

  965. in you.

  966. Amen.

  967. We thank God today for his guidance. His guidance will

  968. rebuke us at times, and rebuke is not always favorable,

  969. but it's always helpful.

  970. When God does it.

  971. Hey, man, it wasn't favorable when Peter did it to Jesus,

  972. but it's favorable when God does it to us.

  973. Peter had lost.

  974. His mind because the mind of Peter was not working.

  975. That's why Jesus said, even though we came out of

  976. his mouth, he said, get thee behind me, Satan, because

  977. Peter was being used. His mouth and his tongue was

  978. being used by the devil, just like yours been using.

  979. You cussing people.

  980. Out, align on people, a backpiping on people, talking bad

  981. about people. Your mouth being used by the devil, just

  982. like Peter.

  983. Amen.

  984. So, Holiness, it's not your shouting it's not your coming

  985. to church. It's not your speaking in tongues. It's not

  986. your quote scriptures. It's not your.

  987. Reading the Word or somebody.

  988. It's not your it's not your dancing around in here.

  989. Holiness is your witness, which is a lifestyle that's done.

  990. On a daily basis. Amen. Amen. Give God a hand

  991. clap of praise.

  992. Amen, we thank God for that message. May be something

  993. that God gave me that touched one or two of you,

  994. if not all of you. I do pray, but touch

  995. me because it continues to remind me that my life

  996. is to be lived before Him, and it encourages me

  997. to not care so much about what people say and

  998. think about me.

  999. Amen.

1000. What matters is what I do for the Lord. It

  1001. all falls in place.

  1002. Amen.

1003. If you live your life wholly before God, people will

1004. see it. You don't need no sign on your car,

1005. a shirt that blinks on your back.

1006. You don't need none of that.

1007. You don't need to conform to the way they're acting

1008. because they don't like the way you are. The truth

1009. of the matter is they really want to be like you. No,

1010. I mean they want to be They want to be

1011. like you in a sense that they want to quit

1012. the mess they in. A lot of people won't to

1013. quit the mess they in, but they don't know how

1014. to do it. And a lot of people don't know

1015. how to act. And they take it. They take they

1016. take their jealousy out on you. They jealous of though

1017. that you so that you live in your life right

1018. and they in a mess. And then they like it

1019. when they like it when they see you going through

  1020. trials and tribulations.

1021. God, but God gonna bring ye out.

1022. Then when they see you again, you're out of it

1023. looking brighter than ever. Now they even matter.

1024. Mhm. But God, hey, man, let us stand, we do.

1025. Thank God for his word.

1026. Today. Man, let us pray.

1027. Father, we come again before the Throne of Grace, thanking

1028. and praising you God for all that you do for us.

1029. Thank you, God, help us to always live our life

1030. wholly on tode that our witness would be true, and

1031. that our witness would edify your house and the Gospel

1032. of Jesus Christ, and that our witness may touch someone

1033. to turn their life around. In the name of Jesus Christ. Now, God,

1034. I ask you right now in the name of Jesus,

1035. as that servant, knowing that you hear me when I

1036. pray in the name of Jesus Christ, if there's anyone

1037. here among us today, God that are having some issues

1038. in their body, in their mind, in the relationship, whatever

1039. the relationship may be, Father God, in the name of Jesus,

1040. if they haven't any problems in their finances, You the

1041. one to go to. So we coming to you right now,

1042. because you the one that allows what is to be

1043. allowed in our lives. You the one that help us

1044. to handle what comes in our lives. You the one

1045. that strengthen us for the things that come. So I

1046. asked you right now in Jesus' name. You are the

1047. healer of our lives and of our bodies. So we

1048. ask right now, God, if there's anyone in there that

1049. needs healing in their body, heal us right now in

1050. the name of Jesus, according to our faith and according

1051. to where you need us to be in that healing

1052. God that will keep us. Keep us coming to you, Father,

1053. in the name of Jesus. Bless us from our heads

1054. to our toes. Bless our families. Touch those that are

1055. not saved. Help us delve a holy life before them

1056. that they may see a change that they need in

1057. their lives. In the name of Jesus Christ and Lord,

1058. we give you all the glory and all the praise

1059. in Jesus' name, Thank God, Amen and Amen.
