  1. The praise the Lord.

  2. Hey man, we are here to praise the Lord, Amen,

  3. and all that we do to give God the praise

  4. and the glory.

  5. He's worthy to be praised. Holleyluliah. Glory to God, Glory

  6. to God.

  7. Thank you Jesus, Thank you, Jesus, Thank you Jesus. He's

  8. worthy to be praised. He's a worthy God. Because of him,

  9. we are who we are. Because of Him, we have

  10. a breath in our body.

  11. Amen. Because of Him we live and we breathe. Amen.

  12. We thank God for yet another day, man, thanking God

  13. for all of you who are here today. Man, it's

  14. a wonderful day that the Lord has made, and we

  15. shall be and rejoice in this day.

  16. Amen. Somebody Amen.

  17. So much is going on, but yet here we are

  18. again in the land of the liberty.

  19. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus.

  20. I saw several funerals yesterday, but I didn't see none

  21. of yours.

  22. Amen.

  23. Somebody, thank you Jesus. We give God glory today in praise.

  24. We give Him the glory and the praise.

  25. Today.

  26. We thank God for God being our God. We thank

  27. God for being the only, only, one and true God.

  28. Because there is no other God.

  29. Besides him, Amen, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He's

  30. not just our lord, but he's our savior. He's not

  31. just our savior, but he is our Lord. Amen, somebody,

  32. And we thank him for all that he has done,

  33. for all that he has done, and not for all

  34. that he's about to do, because whatever happens is already done.

  35. We think it, for all that he has done and

  36. all that's yet to manifest in our lives, that he's

  37. already done.

  38. Amen.

  39. We're not waiting on him, He's waiting on us. Amen, somebody.

  40. We do think and praise God and give it. And

  41. God is allowed the glory and the praise, for he's worthy.

  42. That's why he's allowed it. He's worthy of all praise

  43. and all glory. And we give honor to him today

  44. who is the head of our lives, who keeps us

  45. right by his Holy Spirit, and we thank him for it.

  46. Let us pray. Father, We thank you, Lord.

  47. We thank you for this time to share and to

  48. fellowship with one another. We thank you for your presence

  49. being here, your spirit. We thank you for your son Jesus,

  50. who made all of this possible. We thank you for

  51. the Holy Spirit that teaches us and guides us, that

  52. knocks on our hearts when we go to the left

  53. and bring us back to the right. We thank you

  54. for your Holy Spirit that teaches us and teaches us.

  55. In the name of Jesus Christ. We thank you that

  56. you are our father, but not just our father, but

  57. you our daddy. You are father instructing us, instructing us

  58. in all things. You are our father who whoops us

  59. when we go to the left. You are our father

  60. in the name of Jesus Christ, who chastises us when

  61. chastisement is necessary.

  62. And you are Idaddy who comforts us, who loves on us,

  63. who provide for us.

  64. You are our daddy and who provides for us in

  65. all that we need. In the name of Jesus. And

  66. we thank your Lord. We thank you God, you know

  67. far greater than we do. We thank you for the insight.

  68. We thank you for the desernment. We thank you for

  69. your patience, your love, your forgiveness. God, we just want

  70. to thank you for just being the God that you

  71. are to us. And in Jesus' name, we thank you

  72. for rebuking the enemy for our sake and shielding and

  73. protecting us with divine protection. Covering us under your wings

  74. of protection, hiding us in your bosom Lord.

  75. In Jesus' name, we thank you, Lord. And in Jesus'

  76. name we pray. In the church said thank God, Amen

  77. and Amen.

  78. In the Book of Matthews, chapter twenty six, starting at

  79. verse seventy three, we're talking about today. I've titled this

  80. when pressure is applied? Who do you sound like them?

  81. Are Him?

  82. When pressure is applied? Who do you sound like them?

  83. Are Him?

  84. And see that's a personal note that ain't you looking

  85. at somebody else when you see pressure applied to them?

  86. What do you look like when pressure is applied? Who

  87. do you sound like? When pressure is applied to you?

  88. We understand you good as long as everything is going well.

  89. You good as long as you're happy and cheerful. But

  90. what happens when anger steps in? What happens when people

  91. cross your path the wrong way?

  92. What happens?

  93. Then?

  94. Who you saying?

  95. We know?

  96. When you sound when everything's good, you may you sound

  97. like your Lord saying Jesus. But who you sound like

  98. when trouble comes? Who you sound like when anger comes?

  99. And with so many people leaving the Gospel of Jesus Christ,

  100. they're not.

  101. Sounding like him.

  102. Anymore because of the pressures of life. Amen, you may

  103. be seen in the house of Lord. Because I'm not

  104. only going to read one scripture here verse seventy three

  105. of Matthew's twenty seven Matthew's twenty six I'm sorry Matthew's

  106. twenty six, Chapter twenty chapter twenty six, verse seventy three,

  107. Chapter again, twenty six, verse seventy three.

  108. Amen.

  109. And the Bible speaks to us as saying, and after

  110. a while a while, y'all keep that in mind. And

  111. after a while came unto him being him being Peter

  112. when we're talking about Peter's denial to Jesus.

  113. And after a while came unto him.

  114. They that stood by, not one, not two, but several

  115. came to Peter and said to Peter, surely thou also

  116. art one of them, one of them. So when pressure

  117. is applied, who do you sound like them? Are him?

  118. So it says, surely they also aren't one of all?

  119. Surely thou art all, thou art one.

  120. Of them them meaning him in this case, hey man,

  121. But the them and him is the title is them

  122. of the world, I him, your Lord and Savior. So

  123. it says, for thy speech betrayed thee. In other words,

  124. the more you talk, the more we listen. And you're

  125. continually talking, Okay, you're continually talking, Peter. And the more

  126. you continually talk, your speech betray you. The more you talk,

  127. the more and more you sound like him. And you

  128. trying to say you don't know him and you're not

  129. with him. But the more you speak, the more you

  130. sound like him. So your speech betrayed you. So Peter

  131. walked with him years. But when pressure was applied, who

  132. did he sound like?

  133. Then? He sounded like feel instead of him.

  134. And when you see in this scripture that it says

  135. in verse seventy three, and after a while, when you

  136. look in the book of Luke, the Bible tells us

  137. this after a while is around an hour in Luke.

  138. Twenty two and fifty nine.

  139. It tells us right here in verse fifty nine, and

  140. about the space of one hour after another confidentially affirm

  141. saying of a truth. This fella also was with him,

  142. for he is a Galilean. So Peter had a space

  143. of time to think about that third denial. He had

  144. time to think about that the third denial, because when

  145. they came to him again the meaning a bunch of

  146. crowd of folks. They came to him and they said

  147. again to him, man, your speech betrayeth you.

  148. But that was after about an hour. Think about it, two.

  149. Denials, and the third denial came about an hour later.

  150. So he had time to gather himself and understand what

  151. he was.

  152. You know, he was doing, let the fend leave him,

  153. strengthen himself by the miracles that he's all his saying

  154. you do all the time. But yet in the space

  155. of an hour when they came to him again, he

  156. still denied it, and he did it in a way

  157. that would make him.

  158. Sound like them.

  159. See so when pressure is applied, who do you said?

  160. Like them or him? So when that pressure was applied

  161. to Peter, he made sure this third denial made himself

  162. sound like them. Why because they said, pere yo yo,

  163. your speech betrayed you.

  164. Your speech make you sound like him.

  165. So when if Peter doing the next verse, he beginning

  166. to use for sanity so he could sound like them.

  167. So we had to understand, who do we sound like?

  168. We know who Peter was sounding like. He made it

  169. quite clear that he was gonna sound like them. They

  170. told him, your speech betrays you, so that puts something

  171. on his mind. I'm talking just like Jesus. I need changes.

  172. Then he begin to curse and the sweat and saying,

  173. I know not the man, and the really the cock crow.

  174. Because that third denial kicked in cock would and craw two.

  175. It would only craw with three denials. But that third

  176. denial he made sure because his speech betrayed him. So

  177. he had to change his speech so that he could

  178. sound like them because he was under pressure.

  179. But you have to understand what should.

  180. Happen to us in this walk with the Lord, our savior,

  181. Jesus Christ. The closer we get to him, the more

  182. we should sound like him. The closer we get to him,

  183. the more we should sound like him.

  184. How we gonna sound like him?

  185. How we gonna even get close to him that we

  186. can sound like him?

  187. This is how you get close to him.

  188. And you read this word, and you goes into your

  189. spirit and down into your soul and in your heart,

  190. and you carry this word in your heart, and your

  191. heart is the motivating fact of your whole body. So

  192. when you carry this word in your heart, you begin

  193. to sound like him. When people call me on the

  194. phone from all over the place, and they asked me

  195. questions about this Bible, or they might ask me a

  196. question about life. You know, one of the first things

  197. I say, or it's going to be in there, is

  198. that the Bible says.

  199. Why because he's on my heart.

  200. When folks ask me stuff the Bible, I wake up

  201. in the morning with him on my heart. At any

  202. given time I begin to send out blessings of sayings

  203. to people my family. He's on my heart, and when

  204. he's on your heart, your family's on your heart.

  205. Ay man.

  206. So the closeness comes from us getting in the Word

  207. of God, and the sounding like him is because we

  208. got in the word of God and man. So if

  209. your speech does not identify with your Lord and Savior,

  210. it must identify with them.

  211. It's only two the identifications it is identified with.

  212. Your Lord and Savior are your speech identifies with them?

  213. Who is them?

  214. The workers of iniquality, the devil's children, the children of disobedience?

  215. So who do you sound like?

  216. Because the closer you get to God, you should identify

  217. with his ways.

  218. You should see more of you.

  219. You should see more of Him in you. You should

  220. even see it. The world see it, but you should

  221. see it, ay man, because the more and more you

  222. get closer and closer than him, the more you should

  223. identify with the ways of the Lord.

  224. You should be Jesus walking.

  225. And in his example in the civilization, in symbolizing your

  226. walk when they see you coming there to see Jesus.

  227. You see when the when the spirits and the man

  228. in the tomb saw Jesus when he was coming, they

  229. recognized him. They didn't recognize him as one of the apostles.

  230. The spirits recognize him as Jesus. So when people see

  231. you coming they should recognize. If they don't recognize it

  232. right then after being with you when you come, they

  233. are to recognize it. And once you've been with them, they

  234. got to see it. Because we know the world looks

  235. at the outer a pearents before they look at the

  236. inner perence if they ever look at the interapearance.

  237. But the thing about it is they actually do see.

  238. The interperence and its invisibility because the moment you begin

  239. to speak and your actions are invisible, your words are invisible.

  240. So when you begin to speak and you begin to act,

  241. then they begin.

  242. To see Jesus. Amen. So you see the more Peter

  243. talked and they listened to him.

  244. They recognized he was connected to Jesus because he sounded

  245. like him. Amen, you too should sound like him the

  246. closer you get to him, because your reputation with him

  247. should speak to others who you look.

  248. Like and who you sound like.

  249. No matter what you do to connect with the world,

  250. as long as you have been with Jesus, your identity

  251. should still look like him.

  252. I was talking to a.

  253. Young man the other day, lived out of town, and

  254. I said to him, you have to always protect your testimony.

  255. You have to protect your testimony. And your testimony is

  256. that you are a child of the Most High God,

  257. and you're supposed to protect that. You got to protect

  258. that like you're protecting your soul. What am I talking about?

  259. Paul said that make sure that you walk circumspectlly.

  260. Amongst the unbelieving. What does that mean?

  261. You gotta walk careful, not destroying your testimony, because when

  262. you mess up the character of God inside of you, Oh,

  263. God will forgive you with a heartfelt forgiveness and repentance.

  264. But men, go hold on with that thing because, like

  265. I've told you many times, the world waiting for you to.

  266. Just slip up so they can have something against you.

  267. The world waiting and looking at you so close that

  268. you cause something could happen to you.

  269. You could stump your shoot men. Dang uh huh, I

  270. heard you. Yeah, I heard it. You heard what I said. Shoot.

  271. Dang nah, that ain't what you said. That ain't what

  272. you said. You used two of them.

  273. For fanities, And you want to know something because they

  274. are looking at you so hard.

  275. That's really what they heard. That's what they heard. They've

  276. been on it. They waiting you said, shoot, and you

  277. know what they thought you said. He thought you said shit.

  278. Have mm hmm.

  279. Because they're watching you and they know you identified with him.

  280. They know it. You see, as long.

  281. As you've been walking with God, they gonna recognize your voice,

  282. they gonna recognize your speech, they gonna recognize your walk.

  283. But many of us, in the Gospel of Jesus Christ,

  284. we get amongst the sinners, and we ashamed of Jesus.

  285. You've heard me say this many times. I've seen it.

  286. We get amongst the sinners, and you know, we don't

  287. want to let them know.

  288. See, I let me tell you to say it like this, When.

  289. I get among some of them heathens out there, and

  290. they almost every other word, almost every word come out

  291. their mouth as the profact. At some point I said,

  292. hold on, that's about telling them. I said, hey, hold

  293. on for any man, I ain't trying to hear all

  294. that profanity. I'm a child of God. I ain't trying

  295. to hear all that. And some of them, some of

  296. them see who you are and they don't care. No way,

  297. they don't care. That's the world were living in now.

  298. Some of them see you and they don't care. And

  299. the reason why is because so many people have messed

  300. up their testimony, claiming Jesus Christ their Lord to save you,

  301. but acting like a heathen, just.

  302. Like Paul told Peter.

  303. He told Peter, Peter, you a jew man, He said,

  304. why do you Why are you so bent on trying

  305. to convince the gentile to be like a Jew when

  306. you yourself is a Jew acting like a gentile, you

  307. a hypocrite. In other words, so the hypocrisy of these

  308. preachers behind the poor pits, and the hypocrisy of the

  309. people has caused the world to believe you ain't no

  310. different from us. The only thing the world I believe

  311. about the saints nowadays, most of them, is that the fact,

  312. you go to church and they don't.

  313. That's the only difference. You ain't say you don't serve God,

  314. right or none of that.

  315. All the thing different is that you go to church

  316. because of what's been happening in the House of God,

  317. and they allowed the world.

  318. To infiltrate the church.

  319. They know what you sound like, they know what you're

  320. trying to look like, but a lot of them don't care.

  321. Heymen, So Peter, he tried to deny Jesus, but in the.

  322. Midst of his denial, he still could not help but

  323. to sound like him, because he denied it twice, and

  324. it took almost an hour for the third denial to come.

  325. But they still said, man, your speech betraying. Come on now,

  326. They thought about that thing before he started cursing.

  327. Another group came.

  328. To him an hour later, and just about an hour

  329. later said, after they done got him twice, they were

  330. gonna let that thing go. So wait, a man, let's

  331. let's let's get back over here to this man. This

  332. man talking about he wasn't with Jesus. He'll know Jesus

  333. and your speech betrayeth you man.

  334. But Peter try to shake it.

  335. But in the midst of his denial, he still could

  336. not help but to sound like him. I believe even

  337. when he began to use for finity, he wouldn't even

  338. you usually right.

  339. I mean, he couldn't shake the first two.

  340. So so Peter had to go a little fuck just

  341. to separate himself. See, he was separating himself from Jesus.

  342. You don't never want to be separated from Jesus.

  343. This man was.

  344. This man was literally separating himself from from Jesus by choice.

  345. You know what happens when you separate yourself from Jesus.

  346. You're going to hell. Separation from him will send you

  347. to hell. That's why I say all the time that

  348. denial is the only thing that has send you to hell.

  349. Jesus didn't do as bad as Judas. He denied Christ.

  350. Judas said he was human. That's why they can't get

  351. But he's still seeing. So Peter he had to go

  352. a little further to separate himself.

  353. So he had to go back.

  354. He had to start cursing to try to identify with them,

  355. because they curse. We don't curse. They cursed, So he

  356. had to try to change his identity. They was pressing

  357. him too hard. Pressure was on his back, so he

  358. had to go a little further. He had to separate himself.

  359. He had to try to identify with them because he

  360. was looking and sounding too much like him, So he

  361. had to disassociated himself from Jesus. So I asked you today,

  362. if I if, if our mission is to connect people

  363. to Jesus, we have to ask ourselves.

  364. Do we sound like him or do we sound like them?

  365. Because you sound like them, you just birds of a

  366. feather that's flocking together. But if you sound like him

  367. and trying to connect them to him, it's a.

  368. Whole nother game play, Amen.

  369. Because our speech also should be evident. Not peer's speech

  370. was evident. Our speech should be evident, Amen, that you

  371. two are with Jesus. See your speech? Miss it evident

  372. that you're walking with Christ. Heymen, they kept saying, you've

  373. been walking with Jesus. Man, Now, I ain't been walking

  374. with that man.

  375. I don't know that man. Yeah, you been walking with him.

  376. He just started cursing.

  377. To separate itself, to play would mess up that thought

  378. pattern to change their minds.

  379. Why because the fear of his life. The Bible said,

  380. man tried to save his life and lose his life

  381. and it's what he did.

  382. He tried to save his life by acting like them

  383. and denying Christ name. That lost his life with now

  384. on his way to hell. But Jesus made him a promise.

  385. Though, m hm.

  386. You have had conversations with people in your life, different people,

  387. and while you were talking to them, you didn't have

  388. to tell them who you were. You didn't have to

  389. tell them whose you were.

  390. While you were.

  391. Talking to them, they couldn't help but to see. And

  392. after they saw it, they couldn't help her to ask

  393. are you a Christian?

  394. They wasn't. They couldn't help her to ask are you

  395. Are you a Christian? Are you are you saved? Are

  396. you one of them Jesus people? Some of them say

  397. Jesus people.

  398. And some people would ask me if to common say

  399. you you must be a preacher?

  400. I said, what makes you? I always want to know

  401. what makes you say that? Yeah? And that's what they say.

  402. They say, it's you, it's so, it's the way you talk.

  403. That's what they say, it's the why you talk. I said, Oh, okay,

  404. that's that's what you that's what you see, that's what

  405. you made you asked, that's what made you?

  406. Ask me? That question. But the thing of it is, there.

  407. Have been people who have asked you these questions along

  408. the line of salvation.

  409. They know you saved.

  410. You must be a child of God because what you

  411. identify with the character of Jesus Christ. Hey man, you

  412. identify with Jesus Christ. In other words, your speech betrayeth you. See,

  413. the longer you talk, the more they can see that

  414. you identify with Jesus. I was saying the other day

  415. to somebody on the phone. I said to them, I said,

  416. when a person opens up their mouth, a heathen, when

  417. he opens up his mouth, he identifies with what spirits

  418. in him. And when a Christian opens their mouth, they

  419. should identify with the spirit inside of them, and that

  420. spirit should be Jesus.

  421. Amen. So I said that to.

  422. Them, to say this, when a person opens up their mouth,

  423. you can tell what spirits in them. And also I

  424. said this to them, even a Christian, when they open

  425. their mouth, you can identify with the maturity of that

  426. individual or the immaturity of them.

  427. Ay man, because.

  428. See Christians was walking around being say sanctified field, the

  429. Holy Golds.

  430. They're young bucks and they still walk around. Tomball Man,

  431. he showed was lucky. A mature Christian says, blessed.

  432. Luck is chance, and as long as Jesus in you,

  433. there's no chance. There's no chance. Everything is permody, everything

  434. is what it is because all the promises are yes,

  435. and they made in Jesus.

  436. Christ.

  437. Ain't no luck, You ain't lucky. You woke up that morning.

  438. You're blessed to wake up that morning. Hey man, boy,

  439. he was lucky. The cod just missed him. No, he

  440. was blessed that they God missed him, because that was God.

  441. Ay man.

  442. So even then I was letting them know that even

  443. as a Christian, when they open their mouth, you can

  444. identify the maturity of such an individual. So speech whether

  445. you're a heathen, whether you saved, been saved for a while,

  446. or have not.

  447. And even something that have been.

  448. Saved for a while still immature, been saved twenty thirty years,

  449. you know what I call him. Those folks are spiritually

  450. meant to retard. So even though Peter tried to deny

  451. Jesus because of the mounting emotions. See that's what got him,

  452. His emotions got They asked him twice he was and

  453. then an hour lady they asked him again.

  454. So and you gotta understand at that point.

  455. An hour later he felt like he probably felt like

  456. they was done with that thought. He probably realized he

  457. had to have then escape the trouble that he might

  458. get into being a follow of Jesus.

  459. But an hour later they came back to him again.

  460. So those same emotions just gathered up, and pressure and

  461. fear of being condemned along with Jesus. He couldn't sept,

  462. he could not separate himself from him.

  463. So the third time he had to go all out

  464. start cussing. He was a a fact.

  465. And there are those in this day in time who

  466. tried to fit in with the world because they don't

  467. want to be identified with Jesus because of the pressure

  468. pressure of the world. But you just don't fit in,

  469. you don't. I told the young man that as a

  470. church I used to go to looking at him. I said, man,

  471. let me tell you something. Them streets ain't for you.

  472. I said, them streets ain't for you. Better crack open

  473. a Bible and stay in in the ministry. Them streets

  474. ain't for you, man, stay out them streets. He was

  475. hard headed. You know what he looked like the next

  476. time I saw him, Sunday, he had a black eye.

  477. I tried to tell him the streets ain't for you, son,

  478. but he thought he could fit in. But you don't

  479. fit in them. Streets not for you. The streets ain't

  480. f us. The world ain't fus. The only thing the

  481. world for us is is to tell the world they lost.

  482. You don't fit in because your long relationship with him

  483. makes it evident that you sound like.

  484. Him, no matter what you try to do.

  485. You see, it's the pressures of life. Somebody you could

  486. be on the job and you took them a decorated

  487. somebody gave you a decorated pin to sign something, signed it,

  488. and if you like me, sometimes that pin sticks to

  489. my hand. I've signed stuff in builders and went out

  490. to my car and noticed I still had the pin

  491. and went back in there and gave it to him.

  492. But the thing is, the pin could get stuck in

  493. your hand, and the next day they asked you about

  494. that pin. They upset about it. No, I ain't take

  495. that pen because they upset. Now you pressure because they

  496. upset about it. Why are you gonna lie about that?

  497. Just just tell them all that was yeah, you know

  498. what I did have that pen? I mean, I'm just saying,

  499. just the stuff as simple as that. You know, you

  500. just went in there and took three SIPs of the

  501. drink in thefgerator. It didn't belong to you, and somebody

  502. coming they know it ain't, but it ain't. But two

  503. of us in this house and the Holy Goos did

  504. not do it. And you talking about well whatever, you

  505. must have drunk it that you know, good dad gonna,

  506. well you drunk that, you must have drunk it down

  507. like that, don't remember. Pressure as simple as that you

  508. might have spilled something on somebody that they didn't see it,

  509. and then when they found.

  510. It, sorry, they said, dang, what happened to me? Who

  511. did that?

  512. You standing around with three or four other folks, and

  513. pressure got you like it, and they didn't even asked you.

  514. I wouldn't even know that near you lie pressure. See,

  515. you just deny Christ. You don't realize that, but you

  516. just deny Christ. Any time you don't go in his way,

  517. you go against his way. It's just that simple. It's

  518. not just that Peter denied knowing him. When you lie,

  519. you separate yourself, denied knowing him. Telf What Peter was

  520. trying to do separate itself so he didn't look like it.

  521. Same thing.

  522. Pressure made Peter deny Jesus. Pressure should never cause you

  523. to the now your Lord and save.

  524. You at any time, at any time.

  525. You should not feel afraid of identifying with your Lord

  526. and Savior Jesus Christ at any time.

  527. Or any situation, no matter how much pressure you are feeling,

  528. you should never deny. No matter how much pressure you feel.

  529. It's like the world will call you a snitch. But

  530. if you saw the man rob the bank and you

  531. ain't gotta just run and telful. But if somebody approached

  532. you police, did you see anything? I ain't seen nothing.

  533. You saw everything that happened. But the pressure of what

  534. might happen to you for telling the truth. You ain't

  535. thinking about the pressure that gonna happen you for line.

  536. It's worse than the pressure I you. It's worse than

  537. the other side. I tell folk all the time. You

  538. don't want me to tell. Don't let me see it,

  539. don't let me see it, and don't try to put

  540. me in it as your witness, thinking that I'm gonna

  541. back you up because you think I'm your boy. I

  542. don't care if you my brother don't think because we

  543. walk in the same walk and you get pressure on

  544. you about something, you're gonna try to put me in it.

  545. I'm gonna tell the truth. I ain't going down. I'm

  546. gonna tell the truth.

  547. Heymen, I'm talking about at all times should be no time,

  548. There should be no situation.

  549. No matter how much pressure you feel.

  550. It should always tell the truth. You know, Jesus didn't

  551. change his mission. He didn't change his character of God. Jesus,

  552. he was laughed at, he was marked, he was even

  553. accused of being the devil.

  554. But it never somebody said, never.

  555. Change his mission of salvation, and it should never change

  556. your mission of salvation. It never changed his mission of

  557. salvation to connect people to God. And if you're truly

  558. in a relationship with Him, then your mission two should

  559. be connecting people to God, no matter no matter what

  560. pressure the Lord puts on you, because you know why,

  561. you should always remember the pressure shouldn't bother you because.

  562. Greater is He that is in you than heeded is

  563. in the world.

  564. I was pressure did when I was in I've been

  565. pressuring many times, but the thought just came to me

  566. just then. When they talk about never be under so

  567. much pressure that you can't continue to be like Jesus,

  568. or you can't try to connect folks to Jesus.

  569. See, pressure also causes.

  570. Us not to even try to talk to people about

  571. the Lord because of what they may say or think

  572. about us.

  573. Pressure.

  574. But see what you don't realize when you talking to

  575. somebody about the Lord, it's not you they really thinking,

  576. and who they're really thinking about is Jesus. Heymen, you

  577. worry about what they gonna say about you or what

  578. they think about you, But whatever they say think about you,

  579. it ain't.

  580. Really you as Jesus, because it's Jesus that.

  581. Lives in you now. And when you speak, you speak

  582. as your You speak as your Lord and Savior.

  583. Amen. I was pressure, so called one of the baddest

  584. guys that was in the penitentiary. I told you this story.

  585. I'm walking left, you know, just walking left and healthy.

  586. It's a long lap. I was in the place, was

  587. setting on fifteen hundred acres and I walked that laugh,

  588. came back up, all walked. Yeah, to come up a

  589. hill and then come across, go all the way around,

  590. come down the hill, go all the way.

  591. Around, come back over here. Anyway, as I came up

  592. there hill.

  593. Two batteries, yeah, and I said, Lord, I walked around,

  594. God said minister.

  595. To that man, and I walked on past him. When

  596. down the hill. It's a long walking back up here.

  597. I'm saying that for a reason. It take a long

  598. time to get back up her walking around doing that walk.

  599. I was walking, but then go walk. I got him.

  600. Now I got God. He's standing in front of a

  601. building that's closed.

  602. Here.

  603. Now mind you, this building's right here. The building where

  604. he lives is right here, probably twenty five to fifty

  605. feet away. All he had dudes walk down, yeah, about

  606. fifty walk down the sidewalk and walk down his building.

  607. That building's closed. He's standing in front of him, So

  608. I know I got him, Mickey, dear Lord. If he's

  609. still standing there, when I come back around and come up.

  610. Here, I'll tell him about you. He ain't gonna be

  611. up there.

  612. That's a long way to go to come back up there.

  613. But when I got back up there, that joke's still

  614. standing there. I was like, what is.

  615. This dude still doing here?

  616. So I walked I'm walking on this side looking at him, like,

  617. what you doing?

  618. Still standing there? I come on around to him.

  619. And I stopped right in front of him, and I'm

  620. beginning to talk to him about the Lord.

  621. He knew who I was, He knew whose I was.

  622. Everybody there basically knew who I was. Even the guards

  623. and even the warden, they knew who I was. I

  624. was there a while so and that's all I ever

  625. did was minister the gospel to the young folks coming

  626. in and you know, up in the temple or wherever

  627. we went. And mind you, we were in the temple

  628. seven days a week, not just on Sunday, but then

  629. your pipe is smoking, not just on Sunday. And you

  630. can't even get people to come one day out of

  631. the week, one day out of the week. We were

  632. there seven days a week, seven Saturday too. So I'm

  633. beginning to the minister to this being. He's a big

  634. guy too, man. His arms looked like fives. And it

  635. wasn't fact because they always in the contest every year

  636. who could finish the most. He won every year four

  637. five hundred pounds on the bench. So I went over

  638. and up getting the minister. I wasn't scared of him.

  639. I just felt like he ain't want to head. So

  640. I went over there and start ministering the Lord Jesus

  641. Christ to him.

  642. You know what happened.

  643. This is when I found out that God, when he

  644. tell you to do something, he already got it prepared.

  645. The first words that came out of that man's mouth

  646. after me talking was it was humble.

  647. First of all, he was like, what, I'm not thinking

  648. this guy? Yeah? He said, where you know?

  649. I read my daily bread every morning.

  650. I said, what, why you don't even the David bread.

  651. Fuck man said I read my daily bread every morning.

  652. I knew right then I was connected. God can connect

  653. me to the situation.

  654. Yeah.

  655. And I begin to tell him more and more about

  656. the Lord, and he was intrigued. So we can't let

  657. circumstances and situations cause us to come off of our

  658. mission of salvation because Jesus never changed his mission of

  659. salvation to connect people to God.

  660. And if we are truly in a relationship.

  661. With Him, then the mission that Jesus had is the

  662. same mission we have. We should connect people to God

  663. and not allow pressure to cause us to act like them,

  664. but still like Him no matter what the pressure the

  665. world puts on you, because like God had given us

  666. in this world, if greater is he that is in

  667. you than there is nothing greater. It says greater. That

  668. means you're better than what is in the world. Greater

  669. is he that is in you than he that is

  670. in the world. It's what we claim, don't we We

  671. claim greater as he that is in us and he

  672. is in the world. We quote that scripture. It's what

  673. we claim, is it not? Are we just saying it

  674. because it sounds good? How do we really believe it

  675. and continue to sound like him instead of them? So

  676. we got to ask ourselves today, this day, yesterday gone

  677. tom In promised right now, we got to ask ourselves today.

  678. We got to take a good look at ourselves, hey man,

  679. because last Sunday is not this Sunday. So whatever it

  680. was back then.

  681. If we fell short, we got to bring it on

  682. up the part right now. Today.

  683. We might have sounded like him last Sunday, but during

  684. the week we started sounding like them. But we got

  685. to make the decision right now that we're gonna always

  686. sound like him, not them. We gotta make the decision

  687. today that we're not gonna be in fear of them

  688. and continue to sound like him. We gotta make a

  689. decision today to be able to tell them about him

  690. and not be afraid of them, because that's the mission.

  691. That we have to tell them about him, so that

  692. one day they'll be like him. Possible.

  693. It doesn't matter how bad they look and how much

  694. they are, how bad they act, how much dope they smoke,

  695. how much liquor they drink, or how much funny case

  696. they commit a lust, they too can still sound like him.

  697. We don't have a final judgment on that. Seem don't

  698. look at them and say, oh, he don't want to

  699. hear this.

  700. Now.

  701. We got to tell him about him anyway, because we

  702. don't have the last say. We don't have the last say,

  703. and we can't see what he see. All we can

  704. do is what he told us to do.

  705. Hey man, since we claim as great as that he

  706. is in us than he is in the world, we

  707. got to ask ourselves today.

  708. We got to take a good look at ourselves. Who

  709. do you sound like? Ask yourself who do I sound like?

  710. Do I sound like him? Or do I sound like them?

  711. Because you got to listen to your own self, who

  712. do you sound like?

  713. To the world?

  714. You know who you sound like when you're talking to

  715. the people of God. Some of us some of us

  716. sound like them, even when we talk to the people

  717. of God. But who do we sound like? We have

  718. to listen to ourselves. Who do we sound like them?

  719. Are Him? So you gotta ask yourself. It ain't know

  720. who it is I who do I sound like? Do

  721. I sound like him? Or do I sound like them?

  722. Because if you sound like them to you, then you

  723. sound like them to them, because the world will recognize.

  724. If you don't ever recognize it, the world will recognize

  725. who you do sound like.

  726. Amen. Give God a hand, clap a prad. Amen. We

  727. should always, even as.

  728. The practice of the sacred Holy communion, the scripture tells

  729. us to examine ourselves.

  730. We should always examine ourself.

  731. We busy though examining other folks, but we need to

  732. examine ourselves.

  733. Amen. And when we examine ourselves, there's no way we

  734. should list unless we are really vam with our own self.

  735. It should have come to understand who we really sound

  736. like them? Are Him? Amen? Amen? Let us pray.

  737. Let us stand in the presence of the Lord at

  738. this time. Let us reach Heaven with our prayer, Father God.

  739. We come in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord

  740. and Savior.

  741. God We pray that we always sound like you, and

  742. that the world would recognize and that the fact that

  743. we do sound like you, and that our character is

  744. like your character. We pray that if we never speak

  745. a word are.

  746. Testified to an individual, that that alone would draw them

  747. to you. In the name of Jesus, we thank you,

  748. Lord for your patience with us. We thank you for

  749. instructing us.

  750. And how to sound like you, and how to walk

  751. like you, and how to see like you, and how

  752. to hear like you.

  753. We thank you Lord in the name of Jesus Christ,

  754. that you give instructions to us, Lord on how to

  755. be that example that.

  756. Christ showed us because he walked this earth as an

  757. example of You.

  758. God and Lord, help us and lead us by your

  759. holy Spirit.

  760. Each and every day we fight the fight of faith.

  761. The flesh rise up and we have to put it

  762. back down.

  763. We thank you for not just power, but the authority

  764. to use the power to make the flesh to come

  765. into subjection to the spirit within us. In the name

  766. of Jesus, the Spirit of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,

  767. we thank you, Lord and Lord. If there's anybody in

  768. here that's in need of healing in their body, healing

  769. in their mind, healing in their situation under circumstances, healing

  770. in their finances. God, I ask you right now in

  771. the name of Jesus, bless God, Bless them like only

  772. you can. And when that blessing manifests it, SYLVI that

  773. you and only you what they recognize and give you

  774. the glory for what you have done for them and

  775. for me. In the name of Jesus, we thank you

  776. for being so loving, so kind, so patient with.

  777. Us God, and so understanding.

  778. In Jesus' holy name, we ask you continue to cover

  779. our families, save and unsaved.

  780. God shape the ones that are not save and.

  781. Stir them up God sin, a word whether it be

  782. by us or someone else, a word of salvation, a

  783. word of hope that they, too, God will grasp hold

  784. of who Lord is and who Savor is before you.

  785. Come back, and every need about and tone shall confess.

  786. This we ask in Jesus' name, Thank God a man

  787. and Amen, thank you Jesus. Let
