THE WORD OF GOD

-
Is the last Sunday of the year.
-
Some people are already getting their vows together in their
-
New Year's resolutions.
-
I should say new Year's resumes.
-
That they're going to tell that they're going to do
-
for the new year. But I don't see where, and
-
I know you understand. I don't see where the saints
-
of God need to have New Year's resolutions, or even
-
why you would think you would need one. Hey, man,
-
see where to be growing at all times? Not waiting
-
on the new year. Do you know some people wait
-
are waiting even now to change when the new year comes.
-
Why don't they change right now? On the twenty eighth
-
of December. Some of them been saying in the new
-
year back in August, January somewhere, even when the year
-
it came about last year, some in August, some in September,
-
some in June. I'm gonna do this when the new
-
year comes. I'm gonna change this whole lot of people
-
talking about I'm gonna go to church every Sunday. Now
-
it's a new year, i'ma make up my mind. I'm
-
gonna be at church every Sunday. You make up your
-
mind and be in church every Sunday. But have you
-
made up your mind to have church in you instead
-
of you and church? And when you come to a
-
rightful conclusion, the reason why you keep messing up because
-
you can't go to church every Sunday because this building
-
is not a church. First of all, your word and
-
is not on point? Are you gonna become the church?
-
Now?
-
I heard a person say when somebody died once, he said,
-
I'm gonna be saved for real. Now you haven't been
-
saved before this? You been playing with your own salvation.
-
Why am I saying all this? Because it's the last
-
Sunday of the year.
-
And we don't know if God is gonna bring in
-
the new year.
-
We don't know that.
-
Some preachers are prophesying that twenty six the church will
-
be no more. Some prophesientists, everybody got a prophecy when
-
you don't know how many prophecies come out when the
-
year is getting ready to come in.
-
Every year since every one of us been born, there's
-
been new.
-
Prophecies for every year, even prophesying that the world gonna
-
come to an end and this year or that year,
-
ain't none of that came true?
-
Ain't none of it coming true.
-
You know why because the decision making process comes from
-
God and when the time comes, only God knows.
-
But what tells us that?
-
Why are you prophesying something that God only knows?
-
Why are you.
-
Prophesied that only something God said? He's not gonna tell nobody,
-
not even the son of Man knows. So how you
-
gonna know to profes that you profer? Line is what
-
you're doing.
-
So when saying all of that.
-
Knowing that this is the last Sunday of the year,
-
and it was something I meant to mention. You know,
-
some people have asked do you have a second service
-
or third services?
-
Sometimes now we have one service? How many people have
-
been going?
-
And how many ministries uh have been having second services?
-
Some have services all week long, sometimes.
-
Two weeks long. But guess what nobody changed. If you
-
don't get it on the If you don't get it
-
Sunday morning, what what w what? H What makes you
-
think you're gonna get it Sunday evening? Cause some people
-
come Sunday morning and Sunday evening still don't get nothing.
-
Some people have services all week deek and still living
-
like hell. Some people just don't get it that the
-
House of God is sacred and they come up in
-
here doing any kind of thing, any kind of way,
-
but God is not mocked. You See, I learned years ago,
-
decade ago. I've learned decades ago that the sanctuary is
-
where we come into the presence of God, and it's
-
to be kept holy.
-
All of the grounds are to be kept holy to God.
-
It's no different than the temples in Jerusalem where they
-
had the wall around it. They had a Holy of Holies,
-
and they had a Holies, and then they had.
-
Other porches, several porches, but.
-
All of it is to be kept sacred. You understand
-
what I'm saying. Sanctuary is sacred to God. It's not
-
where your mind should be wondering about devious things, the
-
people crazy. I think it bad thoughts about people, because
-
guess what, you better be glad that we got a
-
mercy for God, because this is considered the Holy of Holies,
-
because this is where we come to get in God's
-
presence collectively.
-
Amen. And there was a Holy of Holies back in
-
the days.
-
Where only one priest could go in and his mind
-
had to be right while.
-
He was in there or he would die. So will
-
let's be so thankful of the grace and.
-
The mercy of God, because so many come up in
-
here with their minds jacked up, with hatred in their heart,
-
minds on the wrong thing, when you're supposed to be
-
in here meditating on the Lord Jesus Christ. That's why
-
they had to put a rope around him, because if
-
he went in there with the wrong mindset, he would
-
fall dead. Ain't just so glad God is so merciful
-
and me on the grace. Coming here with your minds
-
all jacked up, you're coming here to make roll. Some
-
people come to the House of God just to make
-
it role you will die. I don't want you making row.
-
God don't want you impressing the pastor. I showed up
-
the day pastor I'm here. I've seen people tell certain
-
folks that was in the pastor's office when the pastor
-
was out of town.
-
Don't forget to tell pastor I was at church Sunday.
-
Are you kidding me? See, I'm breaking up all this because.
-
We at the end of the year and the last
-
Sunday of the month.
-
There may be a Sunday next.
-
Year, So are we gonna carry this foolishness on over?
-
If God bless us and be gracious to let us
-
have another year and another Sunday. Come next week, if
-
next week come, Yeah, I know we don't in a
-
run of a day, we don't think about this kind
-
of stuff because we're too dizzy to think about this
-
kind of stuff.
-
We got a job to go to. We got to
-
think about the.
-
Job and the people on the job and the way
-
they're doing us on the job. Yeah, we gotta think
-
about all that. We can't think of it. God, we
-
give you Sunday to think about Lord. But the other
-
six days we got to do our own stuff. Even
-
though the other six days is because of God, even
-
because the other six days because of the breath and
-
your body, even because the other six days is because
-
that's the reason why you able, is because of God.
-
Even because of God. You even got your job. But
-
we'll think about you on Sunday. See, I think about
-
all this kind of stuff. I don't take this lightly.
-
This is real.
-
It's life or death. You can't do whatever you want
-
to do at home. If you think you can do
-
whatever you want to do at home, you might as
-
well come up in here and.
-
Do it too, because God's here, just like he's in
-
your home.
-
Your house at home is God's house, just like this
-
is God's house.
-
Oh yeah, I could prove it to you, he said.
-
So, he said, the earth and the fullest other belonged
-
to him, and everything in it, your house and the
-
earth thing it belonged to God.
-
It's all he is. You just you just borrowing stuff.
-
You don't even realize. People run around our own this.
-
You don't own that. It's a borrow. I paid my
-
house off his mind. Now, no it ain't.
-
And not only is it not yours because it belongs
-
to God as well, it's not even yours because the
-
world said, if you don't pay taxes on it, we
-
gonna take it from you.
-
See your own nothing. That's my car, paid it off
-
in full. Don't pay that license plate. You can't drive
-
it legally since it's so much yours yours y'all, man,
-
do what you want to do with it? Can't you do?
-
Your life is not your own.
-
You can't do with it what you want to do either,
-
because it belonged to God, because.
-
He gave it to you. So I have a question.
-
Then I'm gonna get on into.
-
It, and I hope you brought your Bibles because you're
-
gonna visit some scriptures.
-
Amen.
-
You know there's a reason why God says he'll either
-
have you cold a hot, but Luke won't won't. Do
-
you know why God says that? Does anybody know why
-
God says that, I'm gonna help you out? All God
-
is saying is make up your mind. That's all he's saying.
-
And guess what.
-
He wants you to make up your mind, not for him,
-
but for you. He wants you to make up your
-
mind for you, nothing for him. You see, God wants
-
you to make up your mind because he don't want
-
you to. He don't want you to be playing with
-
your soul salvation. So you must make up your mind.
-
Either you gonna.
-
Serve God are you gonna serve the devil? And I
-
don't care what nobody says. I really don't. I believe
-
this Bible. I've set my heart on it and it's real.
-
I'm saying that because you're either gonna serve God or
-
the devil. You can say whatever you wanna say, But
-
the truth of the matter is you're either gonna serve
-
God or the devil. And here's another truth. You can't
-
serve them both. You can't serve them both. You can't.
-
Even the devil will take us. If he can just
-
get a little of you, he'll take it.
-
That's what he tells you. And that's a lie. That's
-
a lie.
-
The devil don't get a little of you. If he
-
got any of you, he got all of you. Because
-
God don't want none of you, uh either. He wants
-
all of you. And you see what I'm going with this.
-
God only wants all of you. He don't accept the
-
little of you. He's an all God.
-
It's all or nothing. We'll gone.
-
You can't serve God a little bit here and serve
-
the enemy a little bit there.
-
It's all the.
-
Way there with the devil is all the way there
-
with God. Folks talking about he's straddling the.
-
Fence, that's a lie. You can't straddle the fence. You
-
either on one side or the other. Jesus said to
-
Matthew chapter twenty five.
-
He said, I set the goats on the left and
-
the sheep on the right. I ain't seen none of
-
them straddling the fence.
-
He's saying, I put.
-
A couple of goats in the middle and a couple
-
of sheep in the middle. He said, I put the
-
goats on the left, all the.
-
Way on the left, and the shop all the way
-
on the right. That's it.
-
See, that's how I know. See this brible is so true.
-
It's something pressing to me. The truth is in there,
-
the truth that spells you can straddle the fence. It
-
dispells all that can't strave the fence, because the Bible
-
says okay, he said, I said all the goats on
-
the left, and all somebody said all the sheep.
-
On the right.
-
Nowhere was it mentioned that either party was in the middle.
-
Don't mention it. So let's look at this. Last Sunday
-
we talked about We talked about love, see, and I'm
-
gonna talk about it again this Sunday because when we
-
really come to understand this love, the light is gonna
-
shine so bright in our minds.
-
We think love is always it always looks pretty, But
-
it don't always look pretty. It don't always look pretty,
-
but it's still love.
-
See, it didn't look pretty to the rich young ruler
-
when Jesus said, go and sell all that you have.
-
That did not look pretty, dick, that didn't look pretty bad,
-
That wasn't no pretty picture.
-
Huh. That wasn't pretty.
-
It didn't look pretty when God allowed the devil to
-
have his ways with Job.
-
Only to a certain extent. That didn't look pretty.
-
But that was still love. That was the love of God.
-
Job didn't die. Didn't Joe suffered?
-
Didn't he? We're gonna suffer, aren't we? We've already been suffering.
-
Were still here?
-
Aren't we?
-
He still love us?
-
Don't The Job was prosperous after his suffering, wasn't it?
-
So? Are we? See? We look at love and a
-
different meaning that God looks at it. But if we
-
turned the First John.
-
Last before Revelation, we look at First John chapter two.
-
Give us some scripture here.
-
When you get there, say man. First John, Chapter two
-
and verse starting at verse seven. First John, Chapter two,
-
starting at verse seven. Let me say this before we
-
get into this. How many of us in here?
-
I know?
-
But do you know that this salvational walk that we're
-
walking is all about love? It's all about love, this
-
south walk that we walk every single day, every minute
-
of the day, every second of the day.
-
Because you gotta understand something.
-
Your love is going to be tested during the process
-
of the day. Your love gonna be a challenged the
-
very moment you close your eyes at night and go
-
to sleep and wake up in the morning. Your love
-
is being tested even when you're asleep, and when you
-
wake up.
-
It starts all over again. That's why we read this
-
morning in Sunday school. It's nothing new under sun it
-
starts all over again.
-
Your love is going to be tested throughout the day,
-
even if you decide to stay at home and I
-
go nowhere, even in your own house, and if you
-
live by yourself, your love is going to be tested
-
while you're at home, in your house by yourself. So
-
this salvational walk is all about love, because love is
-
what started it, Amen, And love is what's gonna take
-
it to us, take it to where it's supposed to go.
-
Hey man, So we look at her in verse seven
-
through seventeen, these scriptures talks about They talk about the
-
first love.
-
That's what he talks about. So it says, brother, I
-
write no new commandment unto you.
-
It's no new commandment that he writes under you, but
-
an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The
-
old commandment is the word which ye have heard from
-
the beginning. Again, a new commandment I write unto you,
-
which thing is true in him and in you, because
-
the darkness is passed away. That's what past means, them
-
passed away, and the true light now shine. It. He
-
that said he is in the light and hated his
-
brother is in darkness, even until now he that loveth
-
his brother abide it in the light. And there is
-
none occasion of stumbling in him. So if you in
-
the light, there's no cause for stumbling. And if you
-
in the light, then you're in love.
-
Amen.
-
But there's a butt after that tenth verse. He that
-
hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness,
-
and know it not whether he goeth, because that darkness
-
had blinded his eyes. So that person where it says
-
walketh means that you live. It's not a unless you
-
walk with your feet spiritually. Understanding means that you are
-
living spiritually in darkness. It means that there is there
-
is a habitual since of darkness of your life, so
-
which means that you habitually spend your life in darkness.
-
And man are in sin.
-
And then he goes on and say, I write unto you,
-
little children, because your sins are forgiving you for his namesake.
-
Little children could also implicate talking about young converts in
-
the Lord that just became saved. And that's why he
-
calls you little children. That's because you are little children.
-
And when you look at this spiritually, you'll come to
-
know that you are little children. Brother James is probably
-
about sixty something years old.
-
But if he walked up here the.
-
Moment, it's say sixty something years old, and he walk
-
up here right now it's for the first time to
-
give his life to God, he ain't nothing but a
-
few seconds old.
-
He's a new creature. Do you understand what it means
-
that your new creature in Christ?
-
I got saved when I was about thirty.
-
I think so that means I have a new life.
-
And if he got.
-
Saved today tomorrow, he would be a day old. That's
-
why your little children, because God looks at it's spiritual.
-
It's a new life, new beginning.
-
When you were coming out of your mama's womb, he
-
was a new life coming out new beginning.
-
It was a physical birth, your spiritual birth.
-
God looks at you as little children, young converts, because
-
your sins are forgiving you for His namesake. Verse thirteen,
-
I write unto you, fathers, because you have known him.
-
That is from the beginning.
-
I wrote unto you, young men, because you have overcome
-
the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because
-
you have known the Father. I have written to you fathers,
-
because you have known him.
-
That is from the beginning.
-
I have written unto you, young men, because you are
-
strong and the word of God abideth in you, and
-
ye have overcome the wicked one.
-
Now, so he wrote all of this to each one
-
of us.
-
He says, love not the world, neither the things that
-
are in the world. So many of us, claiming to
-
love Jesus Christ still continue to love the things that
-
are in the world. But he tells us to love
-
not the world. These there are not in their my
-
singing things. So love not the world, neither are the
-
things that are in the world. If because if you
-
do that, if any man love the world, the love
-
of the Father is not in him.
-
That's a sea lie for you.
-
If any man loved the world, the love of the
-
Father is not Do I need to break that down,
-
y'ah break it down for everybody. What sounds pretty plain
-
to me. If you love the world, the love of
-
the Father is not in you. For all that is
-
in the world. This is the key verse to this chapter.
-
The lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes,
-
and the pride of life is not of the Father,
-
but is of the world. And the world passes away,
-
and the lust thereof. But he that do it the
-
will of God abide it forever. So to the believer,
-
God says the believer, you don't only just commit yourself
-
to obey God, only committing themselves to obeying God. But
-
we also have a deep and sincere love for our
-
fellow believers. Why I'm glad, Yeah, because the believers. The
-
ability that the believers have for love that's in them.
-
That belief comes from God. So to have the ability
-
to love one another should also come from the motivating
-
factor of the fact that you love God. Hey man,
-
So whatever motivates you to love Jesus Christ should motivate
-
you to love your brother, your sisters, because He.
-
First loved us. Amen.
-
So what am I saying? I'm taking this slowly. Everybody
-
got somewhere to go, you know, to door and lock
-
the motivating factor that whatever it is in your heart
-
that causes you to love Jesus Christ is the same
-
motivating factor. It should cause you to love each and everyone,
-
and not just your brothers and sisters in Christ. It
-
should motivate you to even love those that don't know
-
Him and those that know Him and still don't obey him.
-
Amen.
-
Because the love of Christ that you because the love
-
that you have for Christ is the love that you
-
should have for everybody you see. Because the love of
-
Christ is not partial, It does not separate.
-
It does not say I love her.
-
But I don't care much for her or him. It
-
don't say that it loves them all. But what we
-
got to understand about people that we can't stand is
-
it's not them we can't stand. It's the ways they have.
-
But you make it so personal. We make it so
-
personal we can't stand them, period, which puts us on
-
the back seat of what we should be doing concerning
-
loving Jesus Christ. Because the motivating love of God should
-
motivate us to how the wisdom and understanding of how God.
-
Loves this, how God loves you.
-
May know a person that you can't stand, and you
-
say I can't stand him, I can't do You're in error.
-
With the love. You need to check your love walk because.
-
It's not them that you hate, dislike, or can't stand.
-
It's their ways, it's their nature.
-
But here's why you have to lean on this the
-
way God does.
-
What happens when they change their nature, you still.
-
Ain't gonna like them because it wasn't their nature you
-
didn't like. You didn't like them, and they still look
-
the same to you because you are not sining through
-
the love of Jesus Christ like you think you are,
-
like you think you are, like you think you are.
-
I want to make this plan. I won't just drive
-
this into you if it's possible, because when you really
-
understand it, it's the it's the body that's used for
-
an instrument of sin.
-
It's that mouth.
-
You don't like that they be the tongue and there
-
the words coming out of them.
-
That's what you don't like. It's because they got the
-
wrong spirit. It's the spirit you really don't like. But
-
when they get the right spirit, you learn to love them.
-
It was a whole lot of people that was here.
-
They didn't like me because what other folks told them.
-
But when they got to know me, it wasn't nothing
-
like folks told them, because see what they didn't really
-
realize was nobody here knew me.
-
They were just making up stories. And some people can't
-
wait to believe a story. You know why they can't
-
wait to believe a story. Because the love of God
-
ain't in them.
-
I don't care how good they shout, run up down
-
these eyes, spit blood out their eyeballs, and turn around
-
and do flips and talk in some kind of tongue.
-
He ain't got the love of God in them. Because
-
they let other folks.
-
They became a puppet to other folks lives.
-
And the folks were just you know how you have
-
seen them with it. Put the strings on their fingers
-
and they work the puppets.
-
That's how they were doing folk. And that's how folks
-
are being done.
-
When somebody tells them something about somebody and the person
-
don't even know them, but they listening, and then they
-
make an opinion because the person is telling it to them.
-
They got them on them strings.
-
The puppet just a puppet.
-
They ain't got no minding on person that's got the
-
strains on. You ain't got no mind, and you ain't
-
got no mind. Both of y'all jacked up. Why because
-
the love of God is not.
-
In your heart. See, the love of God detours you
-
away from stuff like that. It does, John.
-
Said in these chapters, in these verses. Rather as he
-
was speaking, John said this because the commandment of love?
-
How should I say the commandment to love?
-
Did you hear what I just said?
-
Does anybody really take the depth of the fact that
-
John said this because this commandment to love others?
-
Did y'all hear what I just said?
-
So if you heard what I just said, then you
-
should understand that God is not asking us to love.
-
It's a commandment. I mean God telling you. He asking
-
you love is a commandment from God to God's people.
-
He can't command the Heathen the love like him because
-
he don't know him like that and he don't have
-
him like that. But God is commanding his people to love.
-
He's not asking you love, he says. John says, this
-
is commanding to love others. To the Jews, it was
-
an old It was an old commanding. As the pinnathook
-
we know the first five first books is a Bible
-
was called a pinnateook, and in the Viticus nineteen and eighteen.
-
In the Viticus nineteen and eighteen, it says in the
-
Viticus nineteen and.
-
Eighteen, Thou shalt not.
-
Avenge nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people,
-
but thy shall love thy neighbor as thyself.
-
Guess who said that, I am the Lord. I am
-
the Lord.
-
So what he's saying is that should take no vengeance.
-
You shouldn't take vengeance. You shouldn't take vengeance nor bear
-
any grudge against the children of thy people.
-
But thy shall love thy neighbor as thyself. I am
-
the Lord. Who's your neighbor? Is not that person living
-
next door to you.
-
Before you get that in your mind, Amen, you should
-
love that neighbor. And then he goes on and say,
-
that's old ass indepenitive, because old ass means old as.
-
It was in the Old Testament. But it's as new.
-
As Jesus was in John thirteen and verse thirty four.
-
And Jesus says in thirteen and thirty four a new commandment,
-
I give unto you that ye love one an as
-
I have loved you, that you also love one another.
-
So it is as old to the Jews in the
-
penitive as it is new as Jesus spoke it in
-
the New Testaments. So it is an old commandment because
-
it was from the beginning and now new commandment because
-
of what Jesus illustrated and laid down his life for
-
us and to impart in us, that we too should
-
lay down our lives too for one another.
-
Amen. Jesus walked this earth for us. Amen. So we
-
should love.
-
Our brethren as Jesus loved us and lay our lives.
-
Down for him.
-
So we should practice this commandment of God to love,
-
because it begins to show what is true in him
-
will be true in us. See what's true in him
-
will be true in us because.
-
He's in us. Amen.
-
But again, all of this is coming about because we
-
need to make up our minds. Do we really love
-
him like we say we do? Because if we do
-
what need of us of new vowels and New Year's resolutions, we.
-
Need to make up our mind. Matter of fact, we
-
should have already.
-
Had our mind made up, because this is the last
-
month of the year, and if we've been struggling from
-
January to now about our mind's being made up, how
-
we're gonna really live. We want to party on this
-
side and live for God on that side.
-
You can't do that. You can party for the Lord
-
on one side, live for God on one side. Hey man,
-
one side. We gotta make up our mind. We don't know.
-
We don't know, do you? Yep? We don't as a church,
-
as a body of Christ. All over the world there.
-
Are multitudes of Christians that have no real sense of
-
nobody knows the day or the hour, because if they did,
-
they would.
-
I'm gonna use the word really, live for the Lord.
-
And when I say really, that means NonStop. Oh, don't
-
get it twisted. I preach this thing because God put
-
it in me to get a youth. But I fall
-
short too. That's the reason why it's so heart wrenching
-
to me. And I'm praying God help me to stay
-
on the straight.
-
And now see, now they don't get it twisted.
-
I ain't doing no Hainish crimes out here. My mind
-
may look at somebody and say I can't stand that
-
so and so, and then God has to make me
-
remember it, cause me to remember it's not him that's
-
doing it.
-
Sudden it's to spin it in them.
-
So Katy, hate that demon, but don't hate him, love him.
-
We gotta get this thing solid as we can. We
-
gotta get it as solid as we can, and we
-
cannot get it as solid as we can.
-
What am I talking about? The love?
-
The love is gonna cause us to make up our
-
mind and not keep going back and forth. And when
-
the love of God penetrates us the way it totally
-
like it should be doing, because we say we belong
-
to Him, we begin to really and truly understand how
-
we're supposed to perceive everything. That's why the message says,
-
can you see through the eyes of Jesus, Because when
-
you see through the eyes of Jesus, you.
-
Can perceive the very things that's going on.
-
And the only way to be able to perceive those
-
things through his eyes is you first have to have.
-
The mind of God.
-
And when you have the mind of Jesus, then the
-
love of Jesus it pours out.
-
It'll even surprise you, and it's coming from through you.
-
Hey man, I'm not gonna try to make this real
-
loan and try to break it down as much as
-
I can, But I believe all that God had me
-
to say even now is more than enough.
-
It's more than enough. So we look at this.
-
As John says, this is this is as old as
-
it is to the jew but as new as it
-
is to us. As when he walked this earth, there
-
were faithful followers of Jesus Christ as he walked the earth.
-
There are faithful followers of Jesus Christ right now, even
-
though he's not physically walking the earth. Hey man, there
-
are faithful followers at this time who are ready to
-
lay down their lives for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
-
There are and I know of maybe one or two.
-
That I really know of that really actually laid their
-
life on would not do what Peter did, denying, but
-
went on and owned up to him and died at
-
that point I personally know of now probably many more,
-
but I'm just talking about what I personally know of
-
that actually physically laid down their life of Jesus Christ.
-
So at the point that we are right now, we
-
me and us in this house, and even we who
-
will be listening to this over the airwaves, we are
-
definitely should be at a point in our lives right
-
now where our faith has increased and brought us out
-
of the darkness, and the darkness has passed away, but
-
not completely, but has passed.
-
Away, and it's still disappearing. Amen.
-
That's the reason why we have to come and assemble
-
ourselves and hear the preacher preacher meaning one who speaks
-
to an assembly of people and continues to help that
-
darkness slowly but surely.
-
Dissipate in our lives.
-
Thanks to the victory of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
-
But we must understand that the conflict between light and
-
darkness is for going, is a foregone conclusion rather, which
-
means the darkness is always going to try to cover
-
up the light, and the light is always going to
-
dispel the darkness. It's foregoing is a foregone conclusion rather
-
because why because the darkness is a demon and the devil,
-
and the light is Jesus Christ. And the devil is
-
always trying to put you out, put the light out,
-
and the light is always putting the darkness out. And man,
-
notice that the darkness tries to put out the light,
-
but the light puts out the darkness. No amount of
-
no amount of darkness can control a flicker of light,
-
but a flick of light can't control any.
-
Amount of darkness. Are you with me? If I turn
-
out all these.
-
Lights in this room, and it was nighttime and the
-
sun and the moon wasn't shining and the lights outside wouldn't shine.
-
It was pinched blacking here. If I turn myself, not
-
even turn the light.
-
The light, the light bulb on in there, whatever they
-
call it him the flashlight on my phone. I didn't
-
turn the flashlight on. All I did is move my phone, and.
-
The screen just lit up.
-
You could see that the darkness is as much darkness
-
as it was. It would be dispelled by it, just
-
that little light on the phone. Because the darkness is greater,
-
the light is greater. Rather, the light is greater. The
-
light is greater than the darkness.
-
Hey man.
-
See Jesus didn't say that the darkness is all gone.
-
He didn't say that, but it is passing away. And
-
he does not say that the fullness of the light
-
had appeared.
-
But it is now shining and will shine more and more.
-
To the perfectness of the light, to the perfect day,
-
hey man. Because the darkness passes away day by day,
-
many by minute, moment by moment. Because the darkness passes
-
away day by day, many by minute, because it only
-
passes away in proportions.
-
Amen, as light shines and increases.
-
In your life, the darkness passes away in proportions. What
-
am I saying that the love of God grows more
-
and more. And as the love of God grows more
-
and more in you, the darkness passes away more and more.
-
It's just like the sun rise. It's pitch black outside,
-
outside of the street lights and whatever lights, but it's
-
pitch black. The sky is black. It looks black anyway.
-
But when the sun starts to rise little, the sky
-
don't just boom, no, little by little, it starts light up.
-
And when the sun is fully implemented, all light. Hey, man,
-
so can they walk in the light and hate your brother?
-
You cannot walk in the light and say you have
-
the love of God in you and not love everyone.
-
It just don't go that way. They don't go together.
-
Light and darkness don't even get along.
-
Man.
-
See, the light is considered the presence of God. We
-
understand that, and the darkness or the hatred is considered
-
the devil. And hatred does not coexist with the light.
-
Because if you are walking in the light, then you
-
should be filled with the love of God. Let's look
-
at first John, where we just read chapter seven, Brother,
-
and I write unto you no new commandment in verse
-
eight again a new commandment.
-
I write unto you.
-
Why because he told them about love and Leviticus, and
-
then he told them about love again in the New Testament.
-
Hey man, So if we claim.
-
To be in the light, which means to be in
-
the love of Jesus Christ, and hate anyone or anything,
-
or not doing the will of God as we should,
-
because see, all of this goes together. Not just not
-
loving your brother causes you not to really have the
-
love of God and you walk in dotness, but the
-
fact that you don't even keep the commandments.
-
Of God is of darkness as well.
-
Ay man, He said, I know that you love him
-
because you keep my commandments. I know that you love
-
him because you first love your.
-
Brother before you love me.
-
See, it's the love of your brother that actually God
-
believes that you love him because you love your brother.
-
Why did he say that? Because you see your brother
-
every day. You ain't never seen God. Hey, you love
-
something you ain't never seen. But and then how can
-
you not love something that you do?
-
See, That's what God is trying to make sense out
-
of it.
-
So if we say these things and it's not true,
-
then that we claim that we in the light, but
-
we hate our brother, we hate the commandments of God.
-
I don't want to do all the commandments of God.
-
We got a false claim and we are still in darkness.
-
You see, you're still in darkness.
-
You can't just love a certain group of people, not
-
love the other people and thank you in the light.
-
You in darkness. Still even though you love these people,
-
don't love them. You're in darkness. You still in darkness
-
because you can't straddle the fence people.
-
It's either one way or the other way.
-
You're still living in darkness.
-
If you don't have the very fullness of love in
-
your heart for everybody, you're still in darkness.
-
Because living in the light is living in love.
-
Since the Gospel is an illumination, it's an illuminating light.
-
The Gospel is an illuminating light.
-
To our heart, our mind. It warms our heart our mind.
-
To love and to love is the identifying.
-
Mark to God.
-
His love in you is an identifying mark.
-
How y'all with me? It is an identifying mark.
-
The fact that love, not just love, but the love
-
of God, the God they is in your heart is
-
an identifying mark that you are his. If he does
-
not see this identifying mark, then how can you say
-
you're a Christian because every Christian, the very word means
-
to be christ Like. And to be christ Like, then
-
you have to have the identifying mark of love on you.
-
The love is the key to walking in the light anyway,
-
because without the love of God as a Christian, you
-
cannot grow, specially while you hate others. I do not
-
keep the commandments of God.
-
Amen, there's no way. See what you got to understand.
-
There are things that love allows, and there are things
-
that love don't allow. The love of God that is. See,
-
the love of God won't allow. It won't allow it.
-
It won't allow you to hate your brother. It won't
-
allow you not to keep the commandments of God. It
-
does not allow you not to reach out to any
-
and everybody, because the love of God reaches beyond folks
-
that you call your friends. It reaches out to people
-
who are even strangers.
-
Amen.
-
It even reaches out to and even people that persecute you,
-
folks that talk about you. The love of God and
-
you reaches out even to people that persecute you.
-
Boy, that's hard, people that talk about you.
-
Like a dog, people that you have heard, not what
-
somebody told you you happen to walk by you happen
-
to hear a conversation come through a phone. How they
-
don't even like you, don't care about you, talk about
-
you like a dog.
-
But the love of God still.
-
Causes you to reach out and love them.
-
I said, the love of God causes you to do that.
-
Hatred in your heart does not, which is darkness. Darkness
-
does not allow you to do that. The light allows you.
-
To do that.
-
Jesus said in Matthew chapter five, in verse forty three,
-
he said, you have heard that it is it had
-
been said.
-
You heard it.
-
It had been said, thou shall love thy neighbor. How
-
many people heard that? Everybody heard that. Everybody heard thou
-
shall love thy neighbor. So Jesus said, you have heard
-
that it had been said, love thy love. Thou shall
-
love thy neighbor and hate thy enemy. You heard that before?
-
Have you not heard?
-
Because this is what they used to say, to love
-
thy neighbor and hate your enemy.
-
Jesus said, you've heard.
-
This, But that's what they say. Jesus said, but I
-
say them to you. Love your enemies, Bless them that
-
curse you, do good to them that hate you, and
-
pray for them which despisefully use you, those that despitefully
-
use you, they are spiteful and persecute you. That you
-
may be the children of your father, which means the
-
sons and daughters see when you do that, when you
-
love them, He said, this is what I see that
-
you are my children because of this act that you do,
-
despite the fact that they despitefully use you and hate
-
you and curse you. When I see that love in you,
-
portrayed in you, manifesting itself out of you towards people
-
who don't care nothing about you, he says that you
-
may be the children of your father, which is in heaven,
-
for he that, for he that maketh his son to
-
rise on the evil. He talking about the son in
-
the sky, For he does that, he maketh his son,
-
and the son belongs to God that rises on the
-
evil and on the good, and spend it rain on
-
the just and on the unjust. For if ye love
-
them which love you, what reward have ye do not?
-
Even the publicans are the sinners? Are the unbelievers do
-
the same thing. They do the same thing. So we're
-
supposed to do something different. We're supposed to do something
-
different than they do.
-
Amen.
-
And if you salute your brethren. Only what do you
-
more than others?
-
Do not?
-
Even Republicans do the same thing. They salute each other.
-
The world loves his own.
-
You've heard that before.
-
So he's saying to us, they're not perfect. But he's
-
calling on us. Jesus says, be perfect, even as your father,
-
which is in heaven, is perfect. He's calling on us
-
to be perfect because we are his and he lives
-
in us, and he's perfect.
-
Amen. So he's calling us to be perfect. So love should.
-
Be the unifying force and identifying mark of the Christian.
-
Love is a unifying force in all unity. It works
-
in all unity. It works in all unity, it works
-
in all Christians. That's the unity that love works the
-
same way, the same way it should work in every Christian.
-
Your love as a Christian shouldn't be different in my love.
-
As a Christian.
-
Why Because it's Jesus and he's not different than you,
-
as he is in me. The only difference in Jesus
-
in a person claiming Jesus, and it ain't Jesus as
-
a demon, and there is a difference.
-
Amen.
-
So there's a unifying force, and it is an identifying
-
mark of every Christian. It's the key to walking in
-
the light, because we can't grow spiritually while we hate God.
-
Because see, if you hate your brother, you hate the
-
order of God, is God, you hate Amen. See, the
-
more you grow to love other people, the more you
-
grow to love God.
-
The more you grow.
-
To love other people, what other people, The more you
-
grow to love your enemies, your persecutors, your backbiters, the more.
-
You're gonna grow to love God, and the more.
-
Of your spiritual growth and maturity will reveal itself. It
-
takes a mature Christian to hate people. I mean, to
-
hate people.
-
It takes so much. Let me say like it.
-
It takes a mature Christian not to hate people that
-
hate them. It takes a mature Christian to continue to
-
love people that slammer you and talk about you like
-
a dog and live on you. It takes a mature Christian,
-
and to you is something that we grow into. Hey man,
-
we start out as babies, but we have to start
-
to grow.
-
Paul said it best.
-
I'm just peripherrat because you haven't matured, and you look
-
like a grown man.
-
I still got to give you milk because you ain't matured.
-
Pass a child, say o. A child's mind in a
-
grown body.
-
He said, I ought to be feeding you meat, not milk.
-
But because you have not matured to the level you
-
should be at this time of your life. You've been
-
going to the ministries and the temples and the synadons
-
for thirty years.
-
Still got to give you milk. With all them teeth
-
in your mouth.
-
Chewing up my nipples, I still got to give you
-
milk because you have not matured enough for this meat
-
to eat. Even though you've got all those teeth in
-
your mouth, you still can't eat this meat because why
-
your love has.
-
Not grown in you. You've been going to every service.
-
In your ministry other ministries all the year long, and
-
you're still gonna go into the new year as a
-
as a baby, and you've been doing it for thirty
-
forty years.
-
And you're still a baby. You meant to you spiritually
-
meant to retire. That's what y'all. Because when a baby.
-
Is born and he don't grow, there's a there's a
-
there's there's a mental thing going on, hey man. Because
-
when you're a baby, you're supposed to grow up to
-
an adult. But if you come out of your womb
-
of your mother a baby, and you don't get no
-
bigger than you did when you came out of the womb,
-
and you're now twenty one years old. There's some mentar
-
there's some mental stuff going on, a retardation. You're retarded
-
in the gospel. Who wants to be retired in the gospel.
-
That's why still giving you milk. You retired it with
-
all them teeth in your mouth. And for thirty forty years.
-
You shouldn't even tell nobody you've been going to church
-
for ten years. That's embarrassing to you.
-
And then you don't think it's embarrassing that you walking
-
around fifteen years old and there's really nothing.
-
Really perstop wrong with you. And you got a diap on.
-
Now I understand that you got a physical problem, but
-
you were in a diaper because you ain't growed up.
-
Matured in your mind as an adult. They look kind
-
of crazy at you.
-
If you and the mall and you see all these
-
different people and they got baby bottles and they drinking
-
out of them as they shopping.
-
They look crazy be grown folks drinking baby bottles.
-
There's only a few of y'all walking around without a
-
baby bottle. Wow, because you have mature than the gospel.
-
And these people say they know Jesus, but they drinking
-
biber bout baby bottles and they've been going to the
-
ministry for ten twenty thirty years.
-
When we're gonna grow up? When is it gonna be
-
real to us? This love?
-
I tell you, when when we make up our mind,
-
that's when it's not gonna be real to us till
-
we make up our mind.
-
I can't make up your mind. Jesus won't make up
-
your mind.
-
He'll help you to make up your mind, but you
-
got to make up your own mind because it's not
-
his mind, is your mind. And when it becomes his mind,
-
then your mind is made up. Yeah, that's what it says,
-
this message right here. Don't make it quiet and nohow.
-
So when you walk into light, or you walk in love,
-
or when you walk in Christ, then you love everybody
-
like you're supposed to, and you begin to obey the
-
commandments of God and you begin to live like God
-
want us to live. Amen, somebody, and there is nothing
-
in you that would want to cause another person to stumble,
-
or yourself, because.
-
There's nothing in him. Jesus said the best. There's none
-
of you.
-
In me, So there's no stumbling in me? Who is
-
none of you, none of the devil? He say, ain't
-
none of you in me?
-
We have to grow to that.
-
Same conclusion that Jesus already has and should have in us,
-
that because we have the love of Christ in us,
-
we refuse not to obey his orders, his commandments, We
-
refuse not to love people.
-
We practice and want.
-
To know more about Him and more about his commandments,
-
and more about how we supposed to be. You can't
-
guess how you're supposed to live. Well, I got Jesus,
-
so I'm just supposed to be good. It don't work
-
that way. Good ain't gonna get you into heaven. Save
-
is gonna get you into heaven. And something comes along
-
with being saved. Hey man, but if you still can't
-
love everybody, you still can't keep his commandments.
-
You're not growing in the truth, but still in darkness.
-
And the light is not in them, and the fellowship
-
is not in them of God, it's not there, and
-
you're still blinded by darkness. See you, what we don't
-
understand is to hate and not to keep the commandments
-
of God.
-
It's to choose darkness. It's a choice we make. We
-
choose in darkness.
-
And when we choose darkness, we shut ourselves off from
-
the light, which is God, and separate ourselves from God.
-
Amen.
-
We actually shut ourselves off from the very presence of
-
God when we choose not to love our the people
-
are the commandments of God, We ourselves shut ourselves off
-
from God.
-
Let's look at verse eleven. Let's look at verse nine.
-
He just said he is in the light and hated
-
his brother is in darkness even until now you haven't
-
yet accomplished the light. That means that this person has
-
failed to love.
-
Period.
-
Hey man, let's jump to verse eleven. But he that
-
hated his brother is in darkness and walketh in darkness
-
and know it not whether he goes because the darkness
-
had blinded his eyes.
-
So this walketh.
-
But he that hated his brother, and it goes on
-
to say walketh in darkness, walketh in darkness.
-
This is the person that.
-
Is living his life in darkness or living his life
-
in sin. Let's look at Second Corinthians four and four.
-
It's gonna break this down. There's all these kinds of darknesses,
-
and then I'm gonna be done. But I wanna express
-
this before I close. Second Crinthians, chapter four and verse four.
-
I hope you get your bibles are penning paper. Chapter
-
four says verse four. Rother Chapter four and secon Corinthians
-
Chapter four and verse four. It says, in whom the
-
God of this world we know who that is, had
-
blinded the minds of them which have which believe not
-
least the light of the glorious Gospel of Christ, who
-
is the image of God should shine unto them. So
-
the enemy has blinded the God of this world.
-
Satan control of the world's system.
-
Hey man has blinded the people, and you are controlled
-
by Satan.
-
The blind folks are controlled by Satan.
-
I don't want to hear that, but they are, and
-
he effectively shields them from the light of the glorious
-
Gospel of Christ.
-
So those people preaching this.
-
Other doctrine are controlled by the devil.
-
Let's look at some other stuff here.
-
First Corinthians, chapter ten, verse Crientcia chapter ten, verse twenty.
-
This is what this says. Watch it this. This is
-
really gonna disturb you. But I say, but I say.
-
These verses here chapter in this First Corinthians chapter ten,
-
verses fourteen through twenty two. They're talking about us fleeing
-
from idolatry, not adultry. Adultry a man worshiping idols and
-
worshiping paganism and stuff like that. So he's saying in
-
verse twenty of chapter ten of First Corinthians, but I
-
say that things with the gentile sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils,
-
demons and not to God. This is what the gentiles
-
do the world. And I wouldnot that ye should have
-
fellowship with devils, devils, demons. See, he's got a grave
-
concern when he's speaking to the apostles. See what you
-
the grave concern is that we really don't understand, is
-
that when you're worshiping idols, you know what's behind those idols?
-
You know what's behind those boodhle dolls, and of all
-
of that a.
-
Pagan worship, do you know what's behind that fallen angels,
-
evil demons?
-
So in essence, you're worshiping those demons.
-
Looks, look at you, Doderonimo, I'm gonna show you some
-
more stuff with this Deuteronomy trot thirty two and seventeen.
-
Look at Dudonomic thirty two. In seventeen six, it says,
-
let's start at sixteen. They provoked him to jealousy with
-
strange gods, with abominations. Provoked they him to anger. They
-
sacrificed unto devils, not to God, to gods who they knew,
-
not they didn't even know him, to new gods, these
-
all these new gods, Santa Claus, Easter, Bunny, and these
-
all the new gods that came newly up on whom
-
your fathers feared. Not of the rock that the God
-
thee thy are unmindful and has forgotten God that formed
-
thee Let's.
-
Look at Psalms ninety six in verse five.
-
For all the gods of the nations are idols, but
-
the Lord made the heavens. In other words, there's not
-
but one God, and there's not but one God to love.
-
There's not but one God to exemplify. There's not but
-
one God to follow the example behind. And notice this,
-
Paul was even speaking to them about the religious feast
-
he had already established. Paul had already established that these
-
religious feasts like Easter Feast and all these other religious
-
feasts that people having on Christmas and all that they
-
involved following, are being in fellowship with the altar. See
-
the Corinthians attended heaven feast.
-
And would have fellowship.
-
See, you don't really know, You don't really realize what
-
you're doing when you be worshiping in cahoot with the
-
world in these feasts that they ain't cohoot with. You're
-
being a follower and you're actually worshiping demons and don't
-
realize it.
-
Don't realize.
-
I talked very intense about this last Sunday, these feasts
-
that you have at Easter and Christmas, and these feasts
-
that you have on a different other occasions that.
-
You account to God.
-
I've spoken many times this reason why you got to
-
make up your mind. This is the reason why this
-
service is coming to you, and this word is coming
-
to you in this service today.
-
To make up your mind. It don't make no difference
-
if you've.
-
Been deeply rooted in putting crees up and direct and
-
the decorations and all that. I'm telling you the truth
-
of God. I showed it to you in God's word
-
in the book in the Book of Jeremiah, in chapter ten,
-
where it tells you it's evil to do that, he said,
-
do not do the things that the world that the
-
heathens do.
-
Don't do what they do.
-
Paul here is if Paul here has already established that
-
these religious feasts involved fellowship with the altar, and if
-
the Corinthians a tend all of these heathen feasts, they
-
will be having fellowship with devils. The Corinthians were the
-
people of God. This was the last thing Paul hoped
-
for his young converts at Corinth, trying to deter them
-
from these altars and these feasts with the Heathens.
-
That actually fellowship with demons. You can see the signs,
-
but you ignore them.
-
The people of God see the signs, but they ignore
-
them because they want to get in cohosive with what
-
the world is doing. They want to get in these feasts,
-
they want to celebrate. These things make them feel good.
-
But you are fellowshipping with demons, because paganism is all
-
about demons. You gotta even ask yourself, why do you
-
even put a tree up? Why do you boil eggs
-
and put colors on them?
-
Why? Because everybody else is doing it?
-
Because everybody else is doing it, nobody really research this,
-
continues to do this foolishness.
-
You're doing it.
-
Because everybody else is doing it. But God spoke to
-
his people, as he spoke to me, and I spoken
-
to you that the Bible says, learn not. In Chapter
-
ten of Jeremiah, thus said the Lord now does says
-
Charles Tompkins, does says child Thompkins thus said, the Lord,
-
learn not the way of the heathen.
-
Learn not the way of the gentiles, or the heathen,
-
or the sinners.
-
And be not dismade at the signs of heaven, for
-
the heathen.
-
Are di made at them.
-
For the customs of the people, of the of the
-
people are vain.
-
They're vain, they're fruital, they're no good.
-
And it goes on to tell you about one cutting
-
down the tree, and then you're looking at Paul here,
-
John here talking I don't know, Paul here talking about
-
in Corinthus how he's talking about, we should not be
-
celebrating the feast as the world do, because you're in
-
fellowship with demons.
-
And you don't even realize why, because there's no real understanding.
-
And the reason why there's no real understanding because there's
-
no real total connection to the truth.
-
What's the truth? God's word? Everything is in this book.
-
We can't let go of stuff.
-
But I'm asking you today, I beseech you, as Paul did.
-
The word beseech means I beg of you this day,
-
and if God gives us another year, use it to.
-
The glory of God.
-
Let God interject. Let this Holy Spirit quicken you in
-
every aspect of your life from.
-
Now until then, not just when the new year starts,
-
if it starts.
-
I'm talking about right now, as you set here, right now,
-
and as those are listening.
-
Make up your mind right now, because you may not
-
get another chance.
-
Make up your mind. You got to come down. No,
-
you can't just do what the world do. You can't
-
act like the world. You can't be like the world.
-
You can't dress like the world. I was watching the
-
thing I told him in Sunday school.
-
The people were mad. They're not mad. They're not mad
-
at these false prophets. They not mad at these prosperity preachers.
-
You know where they're mad at.
-
They're mad at the preachers that are preaching the undotorated
-
word of God. You know why, because there's no there's
-
no room to go to move foolishly. But these prosperity
-
preachers give you plenty room to be foolish and to
-
be sinful. So they mad at the truth of God's
-
men of God that preach the truth. They had him
-
on the radio and they tried to trick him.
-
He ignored them and still spoke the Word of God.
-
They showed him a picture of some woman claimed to
-
be a Christian, but she was a gospel singer. And
-
the dress she had on was so tight. You didn't
-
have to tell if it was a b a d cup.
-
Bra you not to tell.
-
You ain't have to guess, You didn't have to guess
-
how fat her tale was, and none of that, because.
-
That dress she had on was so tight.
-
And the pastor said this, He said, I would not
-
if you had just showed me the picture before you
-
told me who she was and what she represents, I
-
would not ever.
-
Believe she was a Christian. That's what he said. That's
-
what I would have seen. I would have never believed
-
she was a Christian. So they mad at him.
-
Because he's teaching the truth of the Word of God,
-
of how a woman should present herself as a woman
-
of God.
-
You mad at.
-
Her because he's telling you how a woman of God
-
supposed to present ourselves.
-
You mad at not to have all her breast shaken.
-
But she got big breasts. Cover them things up. You
-
can't cover them up down here, and the top of
-
them still trying to bounce out your shirt.
-
Your genie is so tight. And you see the print
-
of your vaginaa. You can see the splinter of your
-
black and that new fashion. That guy with this little
-
cloth stuff just splits.
-
The woman's little button. Both buns just shaking. Why are
-
we trying to be like the world? You trying to
-
be like the world, And you say you love God. Well,
-
let me check this before I close this. I gotta
-
check this because I gotta know the truth. I can't
-
just believe in folks. Tell me, I gotta believe what
-
God say.
-
So God says.
-
Let's see what God says. Let me see.
-
God said. Oh, that's what he said. Let me tell
-
y'all what you say again, Love not the world. Neither
-
are the things that are in the world. If any
-
man love the world, the love of the Father is
-
not in him.
-
For all that is in the world, the lust of
-
the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the
-
pride of life is not of the Father, but is
-
of the world. And the world passes away, and the
-
lust there are but he that doeth the will, the
-
will the will of God, abideth forever and ever. So
-
I'm conclusive now that we're not supposed to be looking
-
like the world. We're not supposed to be doing what
-
the world does. We're not supposed to be.
-
Acting like the world. We're supposed to look different.
-
Paul said, if you look like the world, sound like
-
the world, you must be of the world. That's what
-
they say. The quacks like a duck, walk like a duck,
-
swim like a duck. It must be a duck.
-
Must be a duck.
-
If you walk like the world, you talk like the world.
-
You see, Peter knew something. He had to get Jesus
-
Christ off his back. He did because he was frightened.
-
So what did Peter do? They said, you look like
-
one of them.
-
See we look different than the world. You look like
-
one of them. This is in his denial state, when
-
they took Jesus to court illegally, and the people look,
-
see you want of them Jesus people.
-
You look like.
-
One of them. You even sound like one of them.
-
So Peter had to get that Jesus off his back.
-
So what did he do? He began to use profanity.
-
He began to speak a language that the world understood.
-
That's what he did.
-
He began to speak a language that the world understood,
-
and the world know their own.
-
He had to get Jesus off his back. See the
-
world know how they look, and they know how you look.
-
And I'm sure in your lifetime of walking in this
-
salvational walk, people have walked up to you and said
-
to you, you must be saved, You must be you
-
must be a Christian.
-
That because the world knows that you don't look like them.
-
You look different.
-
And as long as you've been in ministry, if ain't
-
nobody ever told that to you, you better check yourself, better
-
check yourself, because apparently you look like them.
-
The world looks.
-
Like the world. The world acts like the world. The
-
world speaks like the world. The world performs like the world.
-
A Christian acts like Jesus, looks like.
-
Jesus, shines like Jesus, speaks like Jesus, walks like Jesus.
-
And if they stumble, you know the dust that you're
-
scraping off of you. When say shake the dust off
-
you and get up after you and fell short, you
-
got to get up and shake the dust off.
-
Do you understand what that really means. You know what
-
the dust is. The dust is the world.
-
So get up and dust the world off of you
-
and get back in line.
-
The dust is other world. The dust is the world.
-
The dust is sin, which is other world. So that's
-
why I said, get up and dust yourself off. Get
-
that out you. Hey man, hey man, let us stand.
-
I took time.
-
Because the probability that we're going into a new world,
-
new season, we're going into a new year, and we
-
can't leave this last Sunday and still live the same
-
way we've been living. Hey man, you can't play with this.
-
It's real. You can't joke about it. That's why I
-
don't like them folks talking about their Christian Christian comic comedians.
-
Ain't the funny about the Bible.
-
They making jokes about job and different patriots of old
-
and people setting out there laughing because they're just as
-
ignorant as the person on stage.
-
He's trying to be like the world.
-
The world got comedians they talk about they talk about
-
the Bible too, They talk about Christians, denominations.
-
They got you now, they got you up, are doing it?
-
Come on, somebody wake up, Let the light shine you
-
can't do what the world do.
-
You can't be like the world. Lets you out of
-
the world. Amen. Let us pray you having me.
-
Father, we thank you for your presence today. We thank
-
you for your word that's shine such a bright light
-
on the truth of everything and all things.
-
We know God, we either with you or were not.
-
And we know God that you've been so gracious and
-
you've been so merciful. You've really been merciful God, that
-
you've given us so much time to make up our
-
mind and keep our minds made up because we understand God,
-
just as they quote once you save, you always say
-
that's a person with their mind not made up. They're
-
not made up, they have made up their mind. You're
-
not saved once, you always saved. You're only saved if
-
you stay saved. Because if that was so, Lord, why
-
would we need to fight the fight of faith, to
-
fight the fight of faith to stay saved.
-
And continue to believe in trust in you.
-
So many, God, have lost faith in you, so many
-
have fallen short of your gospel. So many have walked away.
-
But it's my prayer, bring them back, God, bring them
-
back God. If they're still in a mindset of they
-
that they can be delivered and not being given over
-
to a debase mind. That's sad to me, Lord, because
-
there's no way out of that. But Lord, please be
-
grace and be merciful and to them and to us.
-
God and Holy Spirit, continue to lead us and teach us,
-
continue to drive us and make us mindful, to learn more,
-
to meditate more, to fast more, to give more time
-
to the Lord in our studies of the Gospel in
-
these Bibles, in the name of Jesus Christ, that we
-
may grow and be drawn closer to You and become
-
more complete in You, and become more like You.
-
Inside and out.
-
Lord, in the name of Jesus, Touch everyone under the
-
sound of my boys. And Lord, whatever the concerns outside
-
of this prayer that those here may have, I pray
-
God that you will touch that too, in the name
-
of Jesus. Some may have different concerns right now, Lord,
-
and they need your help.
-
It is my prayer that you help them.
-
Father God, in the name of Jesus, Help them, Lord,
-
because if they're leaning and depending on you, only you
-
can do it. There's none other than you. There's no
-
other God besides you. There's no other miracle worker. No
-
other healer but you, Lord. No other one that can
-
prosper our souls, even as we prosper, but you, because
-
you give what we need.
-
No one can do it but you. Lord.
-
You are the only God, not the only true God.
-
You're the only God. All the other gods that people
-
claim the figment of their own imagination, they're not real.
-
They're not real, they're not real, they don't even exist.
-
You are the only God that exists and have all
-
ways existed and shall always exist. That we trust and
-
believe in only you, God in Heaven, Lord Jesus.
-
Christ, a savior. You the only true God.
-
So we're calling on you because you are the only
-
one that can help us whatever I need is at
-
this moment. Lord, we need you in the name of Jesus.
-
There can't no preacher, no apostle, no pastor. We need you, God,
-
because you are the giver of all things. Yes, you
-
could use me to pray for him, but you are
-
the one that give the increase. Father, you'll use me
-
to ask you because we have not, Because we ask not,
-
and we're asking right now, God, in obedience to your word,
-
that it move you, and our faith is in you.
-
Knowing that our faith is the only thing that moves you, Father,
-
so we ask him right now in the name of
-
Jesus Christ. He is the door to you, Lord. We
-
use him to get to you, and we're using him
-
right now. We're using him right now. Jesus help us.
-
Jesus help us. Holy Spirit is in Jesus name. I pray, Amen, Amen,
