THE WORD OF GOD

Starting at verse twenty four. These verses are talking about

trusting only one God, only one master, because see, when

you start trusting it more than one God, you're gonna

get confused. You may turn around and love the one

that ain't really trustworthy and dismiss the one that is.

Are you understanding? Are you with me? For? The Bible

says in Matthew chapter six and verse twenty four, Are

you with me? No man can serve two masters? It say,

no man, this Jesus speaking isn't read the word of God?

Is what did God minister are this morning about his word?

It's pure, it's a shield, it's trustworthy. The reason why

it's a shield because it's pure. The reason why it's

trustworthy because it's pure. So if Jesus says no man

can serve two masters, you can't. For either he will

hate the one and love the other, or else he

will hold to one, which means when he's says hold

to one, that he will be loyal to one and

not to the other. So when he'll hold to one

and despise the other, you cannot serve God and Mammon.

You can't serve God and Mammon. Our riches our possessions.

You can't. But people do. People out there serving it

right now, serving that cord Washington, as cold as it

is outside, serving that God the TV because they sitting

right in front of the TV right now, not in

the House of God, serving and plans of the grocery

store because Sunday, I gotta go to work Monday, so

I'm gonna go Sunday to the grocery stuff. You got

time to come to the way you think the House

of God opens up so early, so you can come

to the House of God and then you can do

what you need to do. Deep what happened so you

can so you can come to the house of God.

We don't even understand the plan and purpose of God's

That's why we can't trust him because we don't understand it.

And the reason we don't understand it because we don't

get in it to it to understand it. We don't

study it to understand it, we don't be used by

the Holy Spirit to understand it. Because only the Holy

Spirit gives us the understanding of God's word. The Bible

say He'll teach us all things, not just God's word,

did you go to school for that? I said, nope.

Well how'd you learn that? I said, Jesus? I said, Jesus,

trust in just one master Savior, we don't get confused.

When we're trying to trust in too many, we get confused.

We get upset, and then we want to call along

the one that we know is really pure. This ky

quit on us. Well, I thought you trusted the job.

And now when you went to work, the doors and

shut with a big sign. Only you want to trust God.

You gotta make up your mind. Now God will let

you dam so, God says this. You can't serve God

and mammas. Therefore, I say unto you, take no thought

for your life, what you shall eat or what you

shall drink? Know it yet for your body. What you

shall put on is not the life more than meat

in the body than the ring. Behold, now let me

tell you something, he says. Behold watch this, he says,

Take note. Pay attention the files of the eye, for

they soul not. They don't sew anything. They don't plant

and stuff, he said, needed do they reap nor gather

into bombs. Yet your heavenly Father feeded them, it said,

it seeded them. He continually feeds them. They ain't doing

nothing to get it. He continually feeds them. Are you

not much better than that? Since we are God's greatest creation?

Are we not more better than the birds of the

air who have no soul? Which of you is asking

the question now by taking thought? Which of you can

by taking thought? In other words, which of you, by

wearing can add one cubic into his statue? Which of

us can add any height? I'm not gonna get no

taller than I am. I can't add nothing to my height.

I'm worried about man. I need at least be six'

saying what shall we eat or what shall we? Drink

where shall we? Be when where shall we where shall?

things do the gentiles seek for your heavenly, father know

it that ye have need of all these, Dames those

folks that don't even Serve god seeking the same things we.

Seeking they seeking them because they don't know that there's

one that are given to them, anyway they with the gentiles.

Outside all he's saying is the people that are not following,

don't they even seek these things for your heavenly, father

knowing that ye have need of all these? Things so

your father know you got need of all these. Things

therefore no thought for. Tomorrow in other, words don't worry about,

tomorrow for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of

itself sufficient until the day is the evil there that's.

Trouble the troubles are sufficient for every. Day but take

no man can serve two. Masters you can't serve two.

Masters either you gonna trust and believe In? God are

you gonna trust and believe in the things that you can, see,

feel touch and? Taste BUT i tell you, today this

kind of spiritual double vision causes one to believe he

can serve two. Masters you cannot serve two, masters Because

jesus says no man can serve two. Masters no man

can serve two. Masters but when you're spiritually double, minded

it causes you to believe you can serve two. Masters

but total, loyalty which we learned this morning as well To,

god cannot be divided Between god and loyal to your material. Possessions,

why Because god claims total lordship over his. Own are

you with? Me he. Don't he does not, Divide he

don't share. You he has total lordship over his. Own,

therefore since that, Soul jesus rightly proclaims he cannot Serve

god and manner and mammon is a word derived from

the aamic aromatic rather term for personal, possessions our personal,

wealth our possessions. Period, Amen But jesus is not condemning. Money,

Now he's not condemning. Possessions these men claiming to be

Of god have desecrated, prosperity and there's nothing wrong with,

it but they've desecrated it so that you hear people

in the streets, SAYING i ain't going up in there

giving all my money to the pastor to the, preacher

because they have desecrated it so much that everybody believe

that every man stands behind this podium is getting rich

off of the people Of god setting in the. Fuse

that's what they, believe because they have desecrated it over

the and yet still doing. So. Amen but when we

come to really, Understand jesus does not condemn, money our.

Possessions he does. Not but what he does condemn is

the improper attitude and youth and you allowing it to

enslave you towards. Wealth cause some folks are slaves to.

Wealth they're slave to their. Money they're SLAVES i know

a lot of 'em to their. Cars and the ONES

i know are in, ministry the world's slave to. 'em

that's what they are in the right. Standing but if you,

saved you ain't supposed to be no slave to these.

Things they so much a slave to their car that

they're parking two. SPOTS i saw it. TOO i was

as hot as a fire Cracker thursday WHEN i went

to THE va for my, appointment and you can't even

the parking lot, said THE va are already fulled by

seven fifteen in the. Morning by seven fifteen in the,

morning when you got an appointment at seven thirty eight, o'clock

Guy i've been playing football in them. Hood some folks

just they're master to some crazy. Stuff But jesus don't

condemn wellth just an improper attitude and you being enslave to.

Wealth if he condemned, Wealth jesus would never Make solomon

the richest man in the. World he's the richest man

in the. World, no he, said nobody else would ever

have wealth as you. Have so he don't condemn. It

he just don't want you to be a master to.

It because what happens is when you put your trust in,

money when money don't, come it controls. You the man

lost five to eight million dollars in the stock, market

went to the place where they do all the stock,

exchange shot his stockbroker and then shot. Itself why because

he was a slave to. Wealth there's no way he

could think he could survive after losing all that. Money

no way he can. Survive jesus can't help. Me i'm

says you can't serve two. Masters they ain't but One. God,

Allah there's only One, god and That's Jesus. Christ they

claim them to be, gods but ain't but One. God

so that means it ain't but one. Master But jesus

even goes on to tells you after saying that we

really there's nothing wrong with, prospering or there's nothing wrong with.

Money he doesn't condemn. It he goes on to tell

us not to wear it or to be. Anxious don't wear,

it don't be, anxious because when you do, this it

means we are so. DISTRACTED i disturbed about material needs

that we Distrust god AND i distracted from faithfully Doing

his will when we believe in theur of our. Own

this is one reason why we don't come to. Church we,

work and we work and we, work and we don't

Trust god for strength enough to come to church On sunday,

morning to the, build to come to the synaggue Of

god On sunday. Morning that we believe in our within,

ourselves we trust it within. Ourselves we need to lay

here and rest so we can be ready For. Monday

we need to lay here and rest for a job

that's going to. DETERIORATE i no longer be here, anymore

but yet don't want to unction up the strength That

god gave us to come into the house Of god

that will give us. Strength i've come here dog todd,

sometimes but WHEN i got, in my energy level went

through the. Roof that made have dropped AFTER i left,

again we should not worry about what we would with

our materialistic, things and even the materialistic things of worrying

about what we should eat or what we should, drink hey,

man and what we should put on our. Bodies because

you know, what there's a reason why we shouldn't fall

short of our. FAITH i fell. Little our faith. Fell

that's Because god made us a. Promise god made us

a promise it's the word Of god that he. Spoke

that was the promise he gave, us which, means when

that the very thing he spoke is true and. Trustworthy,

amen he made us a. Promise but the thing about it,

is if you don't know what that promise, IS i

understand why you might wear. It but once you know

What god's promises, are and one of the PROMISES i

know is That god promised to take care of. Us

who is us his? People he promised to take care

be insecure About god's. PROVISION i say this because even

Lives but we got to be as sure Of god's

provision for, us because when we, worry it deprives us

of the spiritual blessings Of god and the trust we

have in. Him god promised to take care of his.

People god's word is. Pure. Amen would you agree with

that this word is. Trustworthy would you agree with me

that Whatever god, Says god will. Provide, so then us

What god has is spiritual that he'll give to us

house your, car your, clothes your, eyeglasses whatever you want to, Supply,

strength your. Health he shall supply all of your, need

his riches In glory By Christ. Jesus you ain't got

to worry about somebody giving it to. It it's Bat Christ.

Jesus it's not the man of the car like. That

you depending on the trust in your credit that you're

people with bad credit get, houses get cars Bad Christ.

Jesus i'm the. Bishop used to trust in What god

did did for me so much that when somebody in

the ministry wanted a new, car he would tell them

go to the carlight with Brother tompkins he. Would and

when everybody went to the carl like with, Me god

would use me to deal with, them and that drive

off that a lot with a. Car if you're trusting

in What god using me, FOR i didn say me

using me. For he even came to me when he

was buying his, house took, me the only member to the.

to speak. Positive he couldn't afford that, house But god.

Could it's a house over five hundred some thousand, dollars

setting on four point two acres with a pond in

It he got upset with me because he brought a

rod with him so THAT i knew it had. Palm

he threw it in. There he. Couldn't he didn't catch.

able to make all grace abounding, too you having all.

Man so no need to wear, it, heymen no need

to wear. It These god's words told you for you

but Then jesus goes on to tell us How god

is the sustainer and creator of. Nature and if he'll

take care of them that have no, soul how much

more will he take care of his most prize? Creation

and what will you gain from worrying about your? Life accept, sickness,

stress and. Death god does not want you to wear.

It he does not want you to warry about what you'll,

wear what you'll, eat where you'll. Sleep even the homeless

folks got somewhere to go if they want to go,

there even if disabled veterans got somewhere to go That

god devised a plan through the government for. Them just

because they don't know it don't mean it's not. There

god closes, Nature he clothes, nature so he'll close you.

Too he feeds, nature and he'll feed you. Too god

takes care of. Nature look how everything in the winter

dies for the most, part except for evergreen trees and

some other. Things but trees die for the most, part grass,

dies insects, die but life comes again Because god takes

care of them through the dying. Period you can't telling

your trees don't, grow no leaves back on. Them when

the summertime and spring and summer, Come he takes care of.

Them how does it do? That he feed. Them he clothes,

Them he maintains. Them what makes us think he won't maintain.

Us god takes care of. Nature he provides everything that nature,

needs and he will do the same for, us and

if not. More, see All god want is for us

to understand That he is the father of. Us all

that seek, Him, amen and trust. Him and that's why he,

says take no thought about what you. Need he, says

take no thought about what you, need because he knows

what we. Need. Amen he knows what we need even

before we ask. Him Because god know our thoughts before

we ever think. Him so he knows what we need

before we ask. Him what we are called and commanded to. Ask,

Amen because, see you're going to ask for what you.

Want you know he does command us to. Ask you

have not because you asked. Not but when you, ask

and you ask in the right, standings you'll have what

you ask. For you don't even want you to worry

about your. Clothes anybody's been worrying about what you're gonna.

don't have to worry about. That we don't have to

Stuff you don't have to worry about what you're gonna put. On,

no don't worry about what you're going to. Eat don't

worry about the gas. Prices don't worry about the food.

Prices they talking about the percentage of distance went up

after so many. Years it's higher than it's ever. Been

and anybody stopped buying groceries around. Here anybody stop putting

gas in the. Car you must stop putting on. Clothes.

Things he knows your, needs your wonts even before you.

wants us to put in? Order seek first The kingdom

Of god and his. Righteousness seek ye, first The kingdom

because he knows we live in the material. World, Amen

so we got to have a place to lay our.

Head he knows who live in the material. World he

place to lay our heads because we live in this material.

World we got to have clothes to. Well we can't

walk around neicked because we can see our nked mis,

now because we do live in a material, world we

got to have things that money can. Buy you ain't

got to be. Stealing god will. Provide that means you

got to have a. Job god knows you need a

job because he, declare a man don't, work you don't,

Eat so you got to have a. Job he got

to bless you with a job because he knows he don't,

work you don't, eat hey. Man and because you have a,

job you got to have transportation to get to that,

job hey, Man so you got to have a way

to get. There you got to have transportation to get

to your job unless you work across the. Street you,

See jesus, says your father knows. Everything you have need.

Of he knows everything that we have need. Of god

is not lacking in the needs and the wants of his.

People so guess, what there's no need to wear. It

there's no need to wear. It he knows what we

have need. Of he even allows some things to be

so because we've gotten ahead of ourselves and need to

bring us back. Down, see you know what we. Need

see us don't know we need a house and a

car and money and clothes and funnels and all. That

he knows we need to get. That you. Know he

know we need to come out of ourselfs. Too he

knows what were in need. Of he knows you done

pump yourself up AND i need to let the ad

because he don't want you to fall into total, wickedness

exalting your own. Self so he knew how to bring you.

Of but all we got to do is don't spend

our life seeking after, things because when we spend our

lives seeking after, things that's what. Happens that's what has

happened to all these preachers behind these poor. Pits preach is.

Prosperity and that's where they mess the people up there

after seeking for things That god already promised them that

they can. Have and because that doing, that they've gon

the real focus of what their life is supposed to.

Be for our life is For, god And god is for. Us.

Amen god made us to give him the praise and the,

glory And god is there to give us the things

that we. Need but we're seeking after things and instead

of After, god we always got our hands out instead of,

Up always with our hands out instead of. Up give,

Me and you ain't giving back nothing. Nothing all these

preachers going to this church and that church exchanging. Money

ain't nobody losing nothing but the. People because most of

the people are not giving out of their. Hearts they're

giving out of what that man told them to. Do

then The bible, said every man give it according to

his own, heart your own, heart not that man up their,

run after them. Clothes and if we would just run After,

him you ever run out the, clothes you're looking for

it and never Finding you'll run out the clothes and

never find. It but if you would just run After,

GOD i promise you you'll find, him you know, where

because he's not. Lost he's not. Lost you can trust

in him because he is the source of all. Things

but when you turn it, on the switch drops down

and open for the electricity to flow through to turn

on the. Light if you would just connect To, god

what you need gonna. Flow if you just connected, him it'll.

Flow if you will just connect with the, source then

you'll need will. Flow he'll send you the, House he'll

send you the, car he'll send you the. Clothes he'll

send you everything you need For he is your. Father

he's your, father and he's concerned about. You he's concerned

about it his, children he. Is And i'm glad THAT

i know who he. Is And i'm glad THAT i

Glad and so WHATEVER i need he does SUPPLY i ever.

Need i'm so GLAD i got a personal relationship with

him that WHATEVER i need he. Supplied and even the

THINGS i THINK i, need he knows whether IF i

need it or, Not AND i Thank god that he

wanting SOMETHING i ain't really in need of IF i can't,

handle but my mind tell ME i. Can but sometimes

we go past that and keep on Asking god for

something that he don't want you to, have and then
