Let me move on before I skip over my message
-
for the day, because it's so much that could be
-
said about what we need to be doing, and I'm
-
going to speak about some of that even in the message. Amen,
-
in the Book of Matthews, chapter eighteen. When you get there, say, man,
-
it's the first book of the Gospel. In case anybody
-
hadn't been reading the Bible, I don't know where to go. Amen,
-
Father God, we come in the name of Jesus Christ. Love.
-
We thank you for this opportunity and privilege to be
-
here today. God, Truly, it is a blessing by thy
-
grace and thy mercy. Oh, you was gracious and mercy
-
for it. You woke us up this morning. But not
-
only that, God, you let us survive all the week.
-
You cover us with your wings of protection, and you
-
hit us in your bosom. Lord, And we thank you, Lord,
-
that you rebuke the enemy of death, which is our
-
last enemy. We thank you for that, God, in the
-
name of Jesus Christ. And we ask God to open
-
up our eyes and ears to hear that what you
-
have to say to us this morning through your servant.
-
Use me, Lord, use these lips of dust in this
-
tongue to speak to the people and even to my
-
own soul in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us
-
hear what your word speaks this morning, and let us
-
be obedient in Jesus Holy Name, thank God, Amen and Amen.
-
In the Book of Matthews, Chapter eighteen, starting in verse six,
-
we're talking here about the seriousness of offenses, the seriousness
-
of offenses, the seriousness of you offending somebody, are somebody
-
offending you, and the seriousness that will be upon them
-
for what they do. Amen, Because we're indivisually accountable for offenses,
-
and some are unified in offenses, like when they attacked
-
the capital on the sixth of I forgot the money
-
was of January. There was a corporate offense, hey man,
-
And the Bible says, but who so shall offend one
-
of these little ones which believe in me? This is
-
not talking about weak Christians, and some people may believe,
-
but this is talking about those who trust Christ and
-
the Cross exclusively, the little children. Is talking about the
-
young converts, those that offend young converts. I experienced that
-
in the ministry that I was in once before, when
-
somebody was very diligent and rough with an individual who
-
came to the ministry to hear a word from the
-
Lord and kept suggesting and insisting that they moved from
-
where they were sitting over to another area. And it
-
didn't go very well. They offended the individual. Individual got
-
up and left out of the church. I went out
-
when I saw it. I went out too to speak
-
to him while he was walking in the park a
-
lot and I said, where you're going? Man, I'm bloody.
-
I said, hold on, man, now, come on back in.
-
You know. I went out there to appeal to him.
-
He was very upset. He was so upset he said,
-
I need to go get He wanted to go get
-
a baseball bat and beat that joker that told him
-
he how to keep moving. See, it's not very well
-
to be offensive. You read what you soul. We are
-
not to be an offense. Even when we tell people
-
the truth and they offend it. We are not the offense.
-
It's the word that's the offense. As I was told
-
by an individual not many sundays ago that the message
-
that I preached was offensive to them. I offended them,
-
and I said to them, I didn't offend you. The
-
word offended you. Amen, you may be seated in the
-
house of the Lord so.
-
And then the scripture goes on to say.
-
In verse six, but who so shall offend one of
-
these little ones which believe in me? It were better
-
for him that a milestone were hanged about his neck,
-
and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
-
He's using symbolisms here, Jesus is by saying it was
-
better to have an ass stone around your neck. An
-
ass stone was a stone that the ass is pushed
-
around in the ground, grinded wheat, and it was heavy.
-
I don't even think if they once they hung around
-
your neck, I don't even know if they could be
-
able to push you in the water. But the civilization was.
-
If it was and they push you in the water,
-
you're through, You're drowning. So it's better that you would
-
do that than to offend one of my little ones.
-
You understand, woe unto the world because of offenses Jesus
-
here talking about he talking about offenses against the believers.
-
Woe is signifies death. A man so wo into the
-
world because of offenses, for it must need be that
-
offenses come. It's necessary for him. But woeing to the
-
one that brings them, but woe to that man by
-
whom the offenses cometh. In other words, as our ministered before,
-
all of those who offend the little ones, all of
-
those who offend the believers, they're merely offending Jesus. That's why, wo,
-
Because the offense that you offend a believer with is
-
really offending Jesus. Wherefore, if you wherefore, if your hand
-
are your foot offend, you cut them off and cast
-
them from you. It's just a symbol. Don't go cut
-
your hands off. It is better for you to enter
-
into life, halt amand rather than having two hands or
-
two feet to be cast into everlasting fire and man. Now,
-
offending a true believer will not save you, amen, but
-
it will definitely bring about the most serious degree of
-
punishment in eternity for you, ay man. Because again we
-
must spiritously desern and come to understand when we and
-
our right That means when we in Christ and we're
-
walking as Christ walked, and folks offend us, it's not
-
us that they are offending. It is Jesus. Paul said,
-
he lives in me that I may live. It is
-
not I that live, but He that live in me.
-
Let me say that again, because we ain't grasping this
-
church is not grasping this because.
-
When they get they so offended. They that's mean.
-
Why you ain't supposed to clock out when folks come
-
with the offense. It ain't you their offending. One of
-
my clients told me that they was offended by me.
-
I told my client, you wasn't offended by me. It
-
was offended by the word of God. You brought up
-
the subject. I said, but if you feel that way,
-
let me apologize to you. But the offense is to Jesus,
-
and I don't try to offend Jesus. Just like I
-
told the client, I said, I don't go around offending people.
-
I said, but I do know.
-
It was prophesied to me years ago, back in nineteen
-
ninety eight. I was prophesied too, and the prophet says
-
to me, the prophetic word that was given to me
-
by God was that. And I was standing in minding
-
my own business. Visual walked up to me and said,
-
many will be offended value. I said, what, I ain't
-
trying to offend folks. That ain't what I do.
-
They said, you don't understand.
-
He said, many will be offended by you because you
-
speak with a voice of authority. It is not you
-
that they really offended by. It's the gift that God
-
has given you that will offend them. He says, because
-
weak folks can take this. That's why the Bible says,
-
got to gird up your lowns, hey man, Verse aint. Wherefore,
-
if your hand I read that already in your feet
-
as a civilization, that if whatever is a stumbling block
-
to you, you're gonna have to get it out the
-
way Verse nine.
-
If you.
-
And if your eye will offend you, plug it out
-
and can from you. It is better for you to
-
enter into life with one eye rather than having two
-
eyes to be cast into hell fire. He's continually using
-
symbols of stumbling blocks. Take heed that you despise, not
-
one of these little ones, one who trust in Christ,
-
one who trust in the Cross.
-
Be careful not to offend them.
-
For I say unto you that in heaven their angels
-
do always behold the face of My Father, which is
-
in heaven. Every true believer, whether you realize it or not,
-
are signed an angel. I'm gonna get to it so
-
you will notice the truth of God, and then come
-
from me to come out this word, and those angels
-
report to the Father, Amen, all the things that pertain
-
into the believer. He goes back and reports to the Father.
-
I saw at work, I saw at least at work today, Lord,
-
and she was praying for this one lady. She needed prayer.
-
Lord Lord said, okay, thank you for that message. And
-
going back, keep it eye.
-
Keep it eye on her.
-
Although he ain't got to go to heaven to do it. That.
-
I'm just paraphrasing God, and hear it from right where
-
he is. Verse six, For the son of man has
-
come to say that which was lost? How do you
-
think if a man has a hundred sheep and one
-
of them be gone astray? Does he not leave the
-
ninety nine and nine and go into the mountains and
-
seek that which is gone astray? He takes an effort,
-
an explicit exit, an extended effort, rather to find that
-
one is laws. But with this verse proves is that
-
believers can go astray, hey man, And therefore it refutes
-
unscriptural doctrine of unconditional inner security. That you cannot because
-
you can quick walk around time.
-
I saved. Once you save, you always saved.
-
It's a lie. Ain't no truth in that because when
-
you run down the revelations, it says those that uh,
-
those that continue shall be saved. I'm paraphrasing that the
-
scriptures kind of tied up in my head. Those that
-
endure to the end shall be saved. Thank your Holy Ghost. Listen,
-
those that endure to the end, you ain't at your end,
-
shall be saved. You just walking in the plan, trying
-
to perfect salvation in your life by the help of
-
the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus Christ. Don't
-
the folk going around boasting I'm saveda sanctified and fill
-
it with the holy ghosts. Yeah, yeah, I proclaim that
-
by faith.
-
Amen. I haven't arrived though, but I proclaim nothing.
-
I'm working at with the help of the Lord and
-
the Holy Ghost, that you shall be told. Amen. Amen.
-
And if so be that.
-
He find it Verse thirteen, talking about the sheep be
-
not found, maybe not possible to be not found. Rather, verily,
-
I saying to you, he rejoices more over that sheep
-
than of the ninety nine, the ninety and nine which
-
went not astray. He's not given approval to the ninety nine, Amen,
-
But he is saying that he insists on finding that one.
-
Even so, it is not the will of your father,
-
which is in heaven. It is not the will of
-
your father, which is in heaven. Even so, it is
-
not the will of your father, which is in heaven,
-
that one of these little ones should perish. And this
-
proclaims that believers can cease to believe. Therefore, become an unbeliever.
-
You don't believe no more, you become an unbeliever. And
-
if you become an unbeliever again, you are lost. And
-
this lets us know how precious our soul is. The
-
most precious thing on this earth and in this whole world,
-
in the galaxy and universe, is the souls of people.
-
There's nothing You can combine all the stars and the
-
planets and everything in them, and you still can't come
-
up with enough to pay for the soul you cay.
-
Moreover, verse fifteen, if your brother.
-
Shall trespass against you, they don't sin against you, go
-
and tell them his fault between you and.
-
Him alone, alone alone. And if he shall.
-
Hear you, you have gained your brother.
-
You just settle that thing. But somebody say, but.
-
If he will not hear you, then take what you
-
one or two more that in the mouth of two
-
or three witnesses, every word may be established. So when
-
you take somebody with you that's impartial, that's impartial. Out
-
you're hearing me, that's impartial to witness what you're telling
-
your brother, And if he shall neglect to hear them,
-
tell it unto the church, the elders of the church.
-
Not everybody in the church. Everybody don't care, no way,
-
they just being nosy. Tell it to the elder. But
-
if he's neglect to hear the church, let him be
-
unto you as a heathen, a heathen man, a public
-
a publican, which means there can be no more fellowship.
-
Are you hearing what I'm saying. Let's break it down
-
a little more. Whoa until the world because of offenses?
-
You see, Jesus here is describing a terrible situation. And
-
that terrible situation is that it's very It's a terrible
-
thing for somebody to cause another de sinion. It's already
-
bad enough use in it, but it's terrible.
-
You know why it's so terrible?
-
Now, two souls are a state. Two of my stake now.
-
And I was speaking to.
-
Somebody on the other day, and they was talking about
-
how they didn't want to continue in what they were doing,
-
in the real relationship that they were in, but.
-
Wanted to be out of it and be somewhere else.
-
But you can't get out of this relationship, So now
-
you want to sin and call somebody else to sin.
-
That's a terrible thing. It's a terrible thing that you
-
had no idea that this in the visual had robbed
-
the stove, ran out and jumped in the car, but
-
you helped him get away. Now you are part of
-
his sin. The Bible said, don't be a partaker of
-
another man's sin. These verses are speaking to us to
-
avoid temptation to sin. Temptation is great in the earth now, greater.
-
Than it's ever been.
-
The anointing on the enemy is greater than it's ever been.
-
You can tell by the devastation and the demonic activity.
-
That's going on in the world today.
-
If you're paying attention causing people to sin. This guy
-
who they call the president has a whole cabinet of
-
people that's sinning because.
-
They don't want to disrupt him. They're sinning.
-
They know right from wrong, but they're doing his bidding.
-
The Democrats ain't no better. But I'm just saying a believer,
-
we are all ready constantly tempted by the world to
-
do evil constantly, but it does. But it don't give
-
us an excuse. Just because someone causes us to sin.
-
We don't get no excuse.
-
You can go to God and say, if he hadn't
-
did this, I would and did that. You can't say
-
I did that because of what he did to me.
-
I said that because I said it to him, because
-
he said it to me. You can't come with that excuse.
-
They don't have it either, But you really don't have
-
it because you're supposed to know better.
-
They mortally know better.
-
But you spiritually know better. Because the believer has a responsibility,
-
in a charge from God to lead people right. Hey man,
-
we have that responsibility to do was right before the
-
people the world. So we have no excuse to be
-
offending people just because they offend us. We must always
-
remember to keep from being tempted and to avoid sin,
-
to always understand that just because you show people mercy
-
does not mean they'll show it to you. Keep that
-
in mind. Just because you're nice to them, just because
-
you help them, does not mean that they're gonna do
-
the same for you. Just because you give them grace
-
doesn't mean they're gonna give you grace just because you
-
loan them money and never ask for it back, and
-
ten years later.
-
They finally remember that dollar.
-
Doesn't mean when you borrow a dollar from them, they
-
ain't gonna drive you every day until you give it
-
back to them. In your man, man, I never did
-
bother them about the money out there that I loan them,
-
and it rid me like a shelon coney. You're not
-
gonna get the same grace. Be reminded of that before
-
you do whatever you do, and that way you won't
-
you'll be able to avoid the temptation to sin. Hey man,
-
quit watching Baywatch if you got a problem with your
-
flesh huh qulit watching all them criminal karate movies. If
-
you got a problem with being disturbed in your mind
-
about violence, avoid temptation to sind yo Yon't be watching
-
bay and Watch. You got a list of problem. They
-
running around half necking on the beach, buns hanging out
-
the back of their They draws.
-
They wine.
-
They call them swimsuits, but they look like draws to
-
me and bras I'm trying to understand it. If you
-
y'all help me.
-
I'm just talking to the women.
-
Can't gotta help me with this? How come if somebody
-
walk in your room unexpected and you got a swimsuit on,
-
you ain't bothered. You got on the top two piece.
-
But if they walk in that room and you got
-
on the broad and panties, ah, can y'all help me
-
with that? I need some help.
-
Help me with that one.
-
The swim suit looks like bros and panties, not some
-
bros and panny. I've never been able to understand that one.
-
But if you have a problem.
-
You don't need to be looking at all that.
-
You got a problem with drinking, Quit walking by the
-
liquor store. Quit going over your associates house that drinks
-
all the time.
-
When you used to drink.
-
Don't get a job at the liquor store.
-
Some people do that. They ain't get a job at
-
the liquor store.
-
Before you know it. If you got a problem eating,
-
don't want work at McDonald's, you're gonna be blown up.
-
We know you're gonna be in the backs, nigga eating
-
them cheese brothers because they don't even give them to
-
them for free. Don't give place, avoid temptation to sin,
-
it's coming to you. And Jesus goes on to talk
-
about if there's a stumbling block, Jesus, if your hand
-
are feeling your feet in your eye, cut it off,
-
puck it out. He don't literally mean to cut it off,
-
cut your body part off, or pluck out your eye.
-
He meant that if you desire to follow him, you
-
must renounce any stumbling block that causes sin to come
-
in your life. And that means you must cut off
-
any relationships. That means you must cut off any relationships.
-
That means you must cut off any relationships.
-
Habits. That means you must cut off any relationships.
-
Habits, practices, activities, activities that leads to sin because they're
-
sneaky and they can lead to sin, and you can't
-
see it until you get that. See just cutting off
-
the limb that committed sin or an eye.
-
That looked lustfully still won't get rid of sin.
-
It won't get rid of it because you cut your
-
arm off, you got another arm of sind with It
-
won't get rid of sin because it must begin in
-
the heart and mind. That's how you get rid of it.
-
And you use the word of God to wash it out.
-
Just do something bleach can't handle. They be talking about
-
a spot, shout it out, bleach, cold water. Some of
-
them spots ain't coming out bloods.
-
Things are hard to get out.
-
Ketchup mustard the word of God, or get it out
-
so clear like I never was there.
-
You see.
-
God wants an attitude that renounces sin instead of one
-
that holds too sin. He want a mind that renounces sin,
-
not a mind that holds on the sin you like
-
some folks said. I was telling somebody the other day,
-
he said, all the Lord, really, Blacksmith, I went from
-
two packs of cigarettes to three cigarettes a day.
-
I said, that ain't God. That ain't God. That's you.
-
Because if you die smoking those two three cigarettes, you're doomed.
-
God gonna deliver you from them cigarettes. He's an all God.
-
He's an all God. That's why it starts up here.
-
And it's washed with this, not with your reality and
-
your opinion. You can't wash it out with your opinion.
-
It has to be washed out with the word of God.
-
The word of God cleanses, and God wants an attitude
-
that renounces sin instead of one that holds on the sin.
-
The eye, the.
-
Hand, and the foot are not the real source of temptation,
-
nor are they the real cause of offending others. Just
-
as temptation arises from within, so does offense others. So
-
does offending others. Rather begin on the inside of offending
-
one another. Amen, it raises up from the inside out.
-
Jesus says in verse ten that we take here that
-
you don't despise not one of these little ones. You
-
can't be looking down on people, looking down on people.
-
There's an offense, hey man. In the Book of Luke,
-
y'all walk with me.
-
In the Book of Luke, chapter.
-
Eighteen, and in verse nine.
-
Luke, chapter eighteen, verse nine, And a certain ruler, as
-
Ken sain, I'm sorry, Luke chapter eighteen, verse nine, I'm
-
reading verse nine says, and he spake these parable unto
-
a certain which trusted in themselves, a certain as that
-
word again, a certain which trusted in themselves. In other words,
-
had self righteousness, that they were righteous and despise others.
-
This is between curse of self selfishness self righteousness, my
-
self selfishness, but selfishness as well, but as self righteousness,
-
because you are selfish. Two men went up into the
-
temple to pray. This is one who thought himself to
-
be highly of the other and offended the individual. Amen.
-
Two men went up into the temple to pray, but
-
only one was going to be heard by God. We
-
know that right, who would probably be very opposite of
-
the one that most would have chosen. Most would have
-
chosen the man who was who thought he was righteous
-
because of the things that he proclaimed to die, Most
-
would have thought him to be the righteousness.
-
This would most people would have done.
-
Why because of opinion, not spiritual discernment of what was
-
really going on between the two, just opinion, because of
-
what the one was speaking. You're gonna understand it in
-
a minute. The one was a pharisee who claimed he
-
claimed to believe all the valuable now. And the other
-
was a publican. He was a tax collector. He was
-
a trader to the Israelite. Therefore the they considered him
-
to be a trader. Center the pharisee stood and prayed
-
us with himself. Listen to the scripture.
-
It said that he.
-
Stood and prayed thus with himself, meaning that his prayer
-
hit didn't get no further than his head, It didn't
-
get no further than it didn't get no further than himself.
-
That's why the script said, he said.
-
And he prayed unto himself, because the prayer didn't go
-
no further then to himself. Even though he was directing
-
it to God, it was not heard back down because
-
he was praying, and he was praying to himself, and
-
only himself heard his prayer. So it said the Pharisee
-
stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank you
-
that I am not as other men looking at throwing
-
folks under the bus, not as other men are extortioneries
-
talking about that, he talking about the task collector. Unjust
-
adulterers are even as this man here standing coming to
-
your net.
-
Since republican.
-
See, he put himself on a much higher plane than
-
the republican. He put hisself on a on a pedestal.
-
He didn't even ask the Lord for nothing.
-
Amen. And guess what, that's exactly what.
-
He got nothing because he believed that he already had
-
everything and he had no need of nothing from the law. Amen.
-
We'll read out of revelation that help us with that
-
verse right there, Revelations.
-
Chapter three, in verse seventeen, Chapter three and verse seventeen.
-
The Bible says, because you say, I am rich and
-
increase with goods and have no need of nothing. So
-
what they did right here is what they do today
-
and the continue to do, is that they are equating
-
the increase of material goods with spiritual blessings.
-
Let me tell that again.
-
They are equating material goods with spiritual blessings. Let that
-
sink in, Lord's truly bless me. My business is rising,
-
I'm making more money. I bought me a better car,
-
I bought me a nice house. They equating material goods
-
with spiritual blessings, which they were not. Because you say
-
I am rich and increase with goods and have need
-
of nothing. You're equating the increase in material goods with
-
spiritual blessings. And know it's not that you are wretched.
-
That's what we said, because you say, I am rich
-
and increase with goods and have new of nothing, and
-
know it's not that you already don't even know you're
-
wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.
-
He's talking to the church. Did you talking to an individual?
-
He's talking to the church, church gloating, gloating of material wealth, wealth,
-
and unconcerned, unconscious of the spiritual poverty in their lives,
-
not concerned. They are unconscious of the spiritual poverty because
-
they're looking at the wealth, thinking that is the blessing.
-
Oh no, oh, no, it's not the blessing.
-
Talking to the church. Yeah, and you better look at
-
tdjs' bed, living an eight million dollar house, driving rose roses.
-
He's poor, he's in poverty.
-
All of these well renowned, known prosperity preachers, according to
-
this word, they're poor, spiritually deprived, and they are in
-
offense to the church. And God says, woe unto them
-
whoa unto them?
-
Amen, somebody whoa unto them?
-
Verse twelve. But I say unto you, I'm eight.
-
I'm gon the wrong pay it. Verse twelve says, let's
-
start with verse ten. For the son of Man is
-
come to say that which was lost, so he came
-
to pay a great price, and he paid a great
-
price for salvation. And because he paid a great price,
-
all who accept that salvation become the property of God
-
the Father. Amen, All that accept that salvation become the
-
property of God the Father. You might not be able
-
to say amen, right now, let me help you out.
-
One Corinthians, Chapter six, in verse twenty one Corinthians, Chapter
-
six and verse twenty.
-
For you are bought with a price.
-
Do I need to read anymore? I said that all
-
that except salvation belonged to him. You are God's property.
-
Do I need to read anymore? For you are bought
-
with a price. The price was the blood shed of
-
Christ at Cavary. That's the price that was used to pay.
-
The blood was used like money to pay for salvation. Therefore,
-
glorify God in your body the house of the spirit,
-
and in your spirit, which the spirit will use, the
-
house which is you, which are gods, because we are created,
-
because we are created by God and have been purchased.
-
At a great price.
-
Amen.
-
We say in the beginning.
-
That God said I created man in my image and
-
in my likeness. That was true for Adam at one point.
-
It wasn't true for us yet we had not manifested.
-
But it was only true for Adam and Eve at
-
that point, and even when we came about, and we
-
still go around telling everybody when we ain't even saved,
-
that God created us in his image and in our likeness.
-
That's not true. Crickets. Crickets. See once Adam's sind we
-
came out of his bow, so we were created in
-
his image. He was created in God's image. After he's saying,
-
we was created in Adam's image.
-
That's why the second atom.
-
Had to come so we could be created in his
-
image when we got saved. And the world is still
-
created in Adam's image until they get saved, and then
-
they'll be created in his image. You hear what I'm saying,
-
the truth of God's word. Got to know the truth.
-
We walking around with slogans like the blown to us.
-
He was walking around with all of us creating guys,
-
No we won't, No, we were not. Adam and Eve
-
was created in his image. And when he's singing, everybody
-
else came behind. It was created in Adam's image. Sinful
-
David said, I was shaped in indiquity, boring in saying
-
that sound like Jesus does a decon.
-
He said it best.
-
Paul said, when I will to do right, I do wrong,
-
and I will to do wrong and do right, sound
-
like Jesus. Jesus ain't confused. It wasn't ntil you got
-
saved that you were born into his image, because when
-
you got saved, you were born again. You were born again.
-
You hear what I'm saying. Hallylujah, take heed that not
-
one of these little ones, For I say unto you
-
that in heaven their angels do always behold the face
-
of My Father, which is in heaven. I went back
-
to that because I want you to understand that there
-
are angels always having access to God, and they are
-
ministring angels. And each and every one of us have
-
been appointed angels. Everyone I'm talking about the believers. I
-
ain't talking of them heathens. I'm talking about the believers.
-
And Scripture says we all have been appointed angels. In
-
the Book of Hebrews, Chapter one, in verse fourteen, are
-
they not all ministering spirits? This is the function of
-
an angel sent to minister for them who shall be
-
heirs of salvation? Are you an air of salvation? If
-
you are air of salvation, then you got an angel.
-
This is telling us that we have angel. And it's
-
also telling us this proclaims that they attend only.
-
And somebody say only to those who have been made
-
in Christ is savior.
-
Only to them who have made Jesus Christ your savior.
-
Do you have these ministring spirits? Look a look at
-
look at the book of Psalms, chapter ninety one. This
-
is one of them famous I want to say verses,
-
but Psalms ninety one, where even a devil called hisself
-
ministering the Psalms ninety one to Jesus Amen around eleven
-
and twelfth verse. But in the ninth verses it says
-
in Psalms ninety one to nine, because you have made
-
the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High,
-
your habitation. So this is the Holy Spirit here speaking
-
telling you that you have assured victory because you have
-
the Messiah in your life. Only those who have made
-
the Lord their refuse. Since Christ is our substitute. He's
-
our substitute. He went on the cross for us, so
-
he is our habitation. This is the Holy Spirit speaking
-
here in this verse. And there shall no evil verse
-
ten before you, neither shall any play come near your
-
dwelling the secret place of the Most High. It's impossible
-
for evil to befall you because you're in the secret
-
place of the Most High. For He shall give his
-
angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways.
-
That's where the devil misquoted the scripture to Jesus on
-
the mountain when he told him, yeah, man, come on, man,
-
jump off her jumping. If you do it, I said,
-
bow down to me, all these kings be yours, for
-
he shall give you his give angels charge over you,
-
to keep you in all your ways. But the devil
-
didn't say that. He said that he shall with the
-
dell say he said, for he shall give his angels
-
charge over you too, at any time, he said to
-
at any time. Scripture says in all your ways. He
-
misquoted the scripture. But nobody paid attention to that right
-
there when in the Gospels when he quoted that, he
-
misquoted the scripture. This is why I tell you all
-
the time, it's always something right there. When you got
-
your desermed hooked, that you can see that thing that
-
looks so perfect, that something you can always tell what
-
goes is gonna be something somewhat of an error somewhere
-
you're paying attention. And that's when you know is the devil.
-
Because he can make it look like the Angel of life,
-
because they say he was the Angel of life.
-
He can make it look right, but it's wrong.
-
If loving you is right, then I don't want to
-
If loving you is wrong, then I don't want to
-
be right.
-
Your loving him is wrong. He married babe, That loving
-
her is wrong. She married man?
-
What children? We all have ministering angels, messengers who report
-
back to God on our behalf. So in saying that
-
the offense that we may cause is going to be
-
reported to God by your angel. And he ain't no snitch,
-
he ain't getting no stitches. He's doing what God say do.
-
And God goes on in verse twelve of Matthew's he said,
-
how do you think if a man has a hundred
-
sheep and one of them be gone astray? Does he
-
not leave the ninety and nine and go into the mountains.
-
That's the extensive That is an extensive effort of God
-
to seek out that which is lost, because God is
-
concerned about every single believer and will actively go in
-
search of those who have gone astray, meaning they have
-
gotten out of the relationship with God.
-
When you go astray.
-
Some people have went astray and don't even realize that
-
they have gotten out of relationship with God. But you
-
have gone and gotten out of relationship with God when
-
you have gone astray and are headed towards false teaching.
-
People setting up on the false teaching you're gonna go
-
astray and come out of the relationship with God, heading
-
down a dangerous path of life and falling into sin. Amen,
-
that's what happens when you're not in relationship with God.
-
Don't nobody want to believe this. You are now in
-
relationship with the devil. They were two relationships to have. Amen.
-
It's either God or the devil. And if so be
-
that he find, really, I say it to you, he
-
rejoices more of that sheep, that of the ninety and
-
nine which went astray. Even so, it is not the
-
will of your father, which is in Heaven, that one
-
of these little ones should perish, not God's will. God
-
does not want any of his flock to wander away.
-
But God already knows, because he put it in his word.
-
There's gonna be a great falling away of the church.
-
It has been that in still being that. But it
-
is not God's will. It's the will of the individual.
-
It's not God's will. God actively seeks and rejoices when
-
the believers return to him.
-
But a sheet listen, now, listen, listen, a sheet.
-
That is not found. He is not one that he
-
is one that willingly refuses faith. It ain't that God
-
can't find him. It's that he does not want to
-
be found and that sheep will perish. That I've seen
-
people do it. I've seen people in the ministry.
-
I used to do.
-
They could speak the word of God upside downs, know
-
the scriptures inside out, annoyt it back gone. Seen them
-
years later and they're doing damnable things now lost trying
-
to convince me. I'm over their house working and I'm
-
listening to them, and I'm a poll I'm shocked. Do
-
you hear me, Sister James, to hear them say that
-
it's okay to be in another relationship while you're in
-
a relationship. That individual has a married couple from Ohio
-
every now and then come to Memphis and they all
-
sleep together, trying to tell me it's okay for you
-
to have another wife. You a liar. First of all,
-
I believe my wife would.
-
Find that gun.
-
Out a bunch of knife.
-
No no, no, that's not God's will. No no no.
-
But they have fallen. They are lost, and they've fallen
-
into sin because they are now believing the lie.
-
I was a pae.
-
Do you hear me? Since listen this person I looked
-
up to in the other ministry because I was like, wow, man,
-
they just spitting them scriptures out. I want to be
-
able to know where the scriptures are, to be able
-
to articulate the scriptures, and to be able to witness.
-
The people with the scriptures like that.
-
You know what I'm saying. When you got a love
-
for Jesus, this ain't for I wasn't want I didn't
-
want it for fame. I wanted to have that same
-
ability to know my God like that, and the fact
-
that they knew they God liked that they turned their
-
back on that God. Somehow sin crept in and they
-
were not able to avoid it. God wants every believer
-
to be a part of the rescue team of lost
-
sheep and new.
-
Converts, because it is everybody. I said it is. I
-
said it is every believer's job to care for.
-
One another well being. I'm almost done. Moreover, if your
-
brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his
-
fault because you and between you and him alone. Don't
-
go tell everybody else. Go and tell him he offended you,
-
not everybody else. I tell people all the time, when
-
the time is right. If you got something bad to
-
say about somebody, go and tell them. If you got
-
some good to say, go tell others. We do that backwards.
-
But the Scripture is telling us this, to keep harmony
-
in the church body and to go always in love
-
to an individual when you.
-
Go to tell them about the offense.
-
Don't go to them clocking our clown in them. You
-
go in harmony. You go in love that there may
-
be harmony in the body. Amen. But if he will
-
not hear you, so you jump to stage two if
-
stage one don't work.
-
And you know this.
-
Second step was first mentioned in the Book of Deuteronomy.
-
Say I'll tell you all the time.
-
The Old Testament is a shadow of what to come
-
in the Book of Deuteronomy in chapter nineteen, the Lord
-
speaks here in verse fifteen, where he tells them in
-
verse fifteen, Chapter nineteen and verse fifteen, one witness shall
-
not rise up against a man for any iniquity or
-
for any sin, in any sin that he sins. It says,
-
at the mouth of two witnesses, at the mouth of
-
three witnesses, shall the matter be established. Because because if
-
you've ever been in seeing a court session on TV,
-
the eyewitness might not be enough. So they're gonna call
-
at least two or three witnesses. That's why the Bible says,
-
go to them yourself. But when you take a witness,
-
take two or three, because in the mouth of two
-
or three witnesses who are impartial, you may gain your brother.
-
You may now say you will say you may amen.
-
You may gain your brother with two or three witnesses.
-
And this is to keep harmony as well. But the
-
second step that the others join in, they're coming to
-
help in reconciliation at the second meeting, hoping to settle
-
the matter privately, and they serve as witnesses to the
-
second meeting, hoping that the two or three that you
-
bring might be able to bring the brother back on over,
-
because sometimes people don't want to hear you, but if
-
you bring others that witness to it, it may jo
-
jard him to come on around.
-
But if that don't work, Step three.
-
Jumps in and this is done if the person refuses
-
to listen and there is no reconciliation in step two.
-
This objective at this point still is not disciplinary.
-
It's not a disciplinary action, but.
-
Helping the center person to see here's a her own
-
false repent and be restored.
-
But if that don't work.
-
Either, the fourth step.
-
We don't even take.
-
These steps like this, We just jump on their neck
-
and ride them like a shelling pony.
-
But there's order in God word for us.
-
And if you ever wondered why it didn't work.
-
You got an order.
-
You got an order. You gotta go in order. You
-
can go to them yourself. They may tell you get
-
on out of my face. Now what it's time to do?
-
Two or three more witnesses. Then that don't work, What
-
time to do? Then take it to the church. See,
-
he ain't talking about no heathen. Now you don't try
-
that out there in the streets. You talking about somebody
-
says it ain't talking about the heathen. This gonna work,
-
folks that no God, not just no of God. Don't
-
try that in the streets. Now I'm helping y'all. See.
-
If it don't work, then you got the fourth and
-
final step. You know what The fourth and final step
-
is disassociate yourself with that person. And this this is
-
and disassociating yourself. This is to help the person to
-
see his or her sin and repent. That's what the
-
disassociation is for, so that they can see where they're wrong,
-
and when you disassociate yourself with them.
-
You're now giving them over to Satan.
-
That might help him. Let me help y'all. Let me
-
see why I'm gonna help y out. There's a looney.
-
I'm almost done, y'all, stay with me. You don't need
-
no quick fixes, no more. Second thing is alone. It's
-
a batal reader there. Most folks didn't know. It's two
-
second third alone. Chapter three, verse fourteen. And if any
-
man obeyed not our word, but this epistol note that man,
-
and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
-
Mm hmm.
-
Yet count him not as an enemy, but ackmoonish him
-
as a brother. Second corinthis, I gotta give you more.
-
This is how I know people can't read the Bible
-
in a year. I mean and understand it. Let me
-
put that in there. You can read it in the
-
year if you read it like a like a novel.
-
Second corinthis chapter two, verse five. But if any how
-
cause grief, he is not grieve me. But in part
-
that I may not overcharge you all sufficient to such
-
a man is this punishment?
-
This means that you got to turn him over to Satan,
-
that he may wake up.
-
Let's go to First Corinthians, Chapter five. First Corinthians, Chapter five,
-
Chapter five, four and five. In the name of our
-
Lord Jesus Christ, when you are all together in my spirit,
-
with the power of the Lord Christ, and Yeah Christ,
-
to deliver such and one to deliver such and one
-
the one committing the sin of offense, to deliver such
-
a one. You'll look at verse five. Who are you
-
going to deliver them to?
-
Whoever? Y'all thought I made that up, didn't you? Ah,
-
you thought I made that up?
-
Deliver us such a want under Satan for the destruction
-
of the flesh. Y'all better work with me, Walk with me,
-
Walk with me. I'mnap prove it by scripture told you
-
a long time. I ain't gonna tell you nothing God
-
ain't said. But know this so that you will not
-
lose faith and falter and lose confidence. There will never
-
be a church on the side of There will never
-
be a church on this side of glory that would
-
be free of members who commit sin.
-
I said, members, not church folks.
-
But this person described here in the scriptures has a
-
huge blind spot to sin. So this person refuses to
-
listen to those who God has sent to help them.
-
There are people in the church that have humongous blind spots,
-
and they refuse to listen to people in the church.
-
I ain't gonna say that, Lord, but they are Amen.
-
And they refuse to listen.
-
And they refuse to listen because they have a huge
-
blind spot. These persons described this individual's described here are
-
even describing those of today's church. Amen. And these persons
-
described here has a huge blind spot to sin. So
-
because they do, they refuse to listen to those who
-
God sent to help them. I said, God sent them.
-
Every time you've been sent by God. Don't mean folk
-
don't listen to you, But no, God sent you, and
-
know you did the will of God. Whatever the results are,
-
they're not about you, no way. The results are for God.
-
If they listen, then God has sold back. If they don't,
-
they going to hell. You ain't got nothing to do
-
with that. Only thing you got to do with it
-
is being sent and go. But if they refuse to
-
listen to you, then they lost. Because in the Body
-
of Christ, are you hearing me? We as members of
-
the Body of Christ, we're supposed to teach, challenge, encourage, amonish.
-
Help and most of all love one another.
-
But there can be no real true fellowship with believers
-
who commit sin. And you really ain't got no fellowship
-
with those ain't save you, hanging out with folks that
-
ain't saved You an error and God is not smiling
-
on you. You an error, and you in danger. But
-
there can be no real true fellowship with a believer
-
who commits sin and refuses, see, you got to put
-
the rest of it in there, not just sins, but
-
refuses the love guidance of his or her fellow brother
-
a sister. You refusing who God has sent to you
-
to speak God's word to you about your error, and
-
you refuse to even believe that you're even in Era
-
one Timothy. And this is my last scripture, chapter one
-
and verse twenty. Let's read verse nineteen, first verse Timothy,
-
Chapter one, Fir Timothy. Let's start at eighteen Timothy. This
-
listen to the word, this charge I commit unto you.
-
It's a charge, son, Timothy, according to the prophets which
-
went before on you, that you, by them might war
-
a good warfare holding faith, maintaining the faith in Jesus
-
Christ is what he tells me. And a good conscience
-
which means speak of, speak of the following words that
-
God has given you to give, which some.
-
Haveving put away.
-
You speak this, but some have put it away concerning faith,
-
may have concerning faith, have made a shipwreck. This is
-
a metaphor. Paul is using the metaphor pointing to those
-
who had abandoned Jesus Christ, who have abandoned the Cross.
-
Here's the scripture I'm getting to. He's speaking of a
-
particular people of whom harmaid. Who is that hominis in Alexandra.
-
He's presenting two examples of one not holding the faith,
-
whom I have delivered of the Satan.
-
That they may learn not to blaspheme.
-
So, who you departed from the faith which is in
-
Jesus Christ and the Cross and the crucifixion, It can
-
only conclude blaspheming. But He's delivered them over satan to
-
teach them a lesson, and some don't learn. Some don't
-
learn that lesson. So I'm here to tell you today Church.
-
We talked about prayer last Sunday. Prayer is going to
-
help you to avoid temptation to sin. Prayer is going
-
to help you avoid temptation to sin. Even Paul prayed it.
-
David prayed, the apostles praised. The patriot said, oh, prayed it.
-
I want to be right, Lord keep me. They try
-
to tell the Lord, I don't want a sin. I
-
want to avoid the temptation of sin. But I need
-
your help, so they pray. You can't avoid it without
-
talking to God asking for the help of the Holy Spirit.
-
If you could, then Jesus was murdered. He didn't give
-
up his life. It is because of the Cross that
-
we want to live a righteous life. Hey, man, I
-
got this in my spirit.
-
Dickon.
-
I'm trying to perfect a perfect life in Jesus Christ.
-
But every means necessary, well, I fall short sometimes, sure,
-
adjust man may fall.
-
Seven times, not saying that he will, but he might.
-
But if I fall, I'm gonna dust myself off because
-
I like to be clean. First of all. You just
-
say I'm gonna dust myself off. I'm gonna get this
-
off me?
-
How amnna get it off me?
-
Prayer to avoid it again, because the temptation is not
-
gonna stop. People, It's not gonna stop. You could be
-
driving down the streets, says listen, pull up to the
-
stop side. Here gonna roll away to them, girl, you're
-
so fine?
-
What your name is?
-
Can I get that dick? Can I get them digits?
-
That's the slick ones. They don't say number digits. You
-
over that cheese and smiling, grinned. He trying to build
-
you up. Get them digits. You got a man for
-
a moment you say, uh no, oh girl, pull over,
-
We need to talk and.
-
Then what you should do right here?
-
Amen? Amen. In other words, I'm just trying to tell
-
your church temptation is never gonna stop, and in this
-
dispensation of time, it's greater than it's ever been. The
-
people of God I being led astray away from the
-
very presence and relationship of Jesus Christ. Even as I
-
speak right now, they've been led away from him. Do
-
you not believe it is an attempt to lead people
-
astray from God? When a preacher stands at the podium
-
and tells the people who believe in a perfect Jesus,
-
who believe that he walked this earth, the only one
-
that ever walked this earth perfect, and stand before a
-
congregation of five to ten thousand and tell him that
-
Jesus was in the era eighty five percent of his life,
-
that's an attack.
-
On your faith.
-
That's an attack.
-
It's an attack on your faith.
-
When Tdjakes got behind the podium and said that Eve
-
was Adam's mother, yeah, it's on TV, It's on the internet.
-
Eve was Adam's mother.
-
I'm sorry, y'all. He said Adam was Eve's mother. He
-
didn't say Eve. I'm sorry. I don't want to tell
-
it wrong. He said Adam was Eve's mother because Eve
-
was birth out of Adam. Let me tell you where
-
he was. Jack there, first of all. Jack there because
-
he's a false prophet.
-
And he's a liar.
-
I got so many more before I can get to
-
the point. But the point is this, Eve was never
-
birst in the first place.
-
That's where I told you.
-
It's always a liar in there that to help you
-
with things that look like the truth. He was trying
-
to beat the all profound and everything and Eve because
-
he came.
-
In the cool of.
-
The day looking for Adam. He looked for Eve because
-
Eve was birthed from Adam. Adam is Eve's mother. There
-
were people going, Amen, hallelujah.
-
Are you serious, y'all? Some idiots.
-
First of all, Adam was formed from the dust, not dirt.
-
Dust of the ground, win, dirt, dust of the ground.
-
That what about said, It's say, from the dirt of
-
the ground. Dust, He took dust and formed him.
-
That's how powerful God is. And then Eve was informed.
-
Eve was made.
-
From a real script state script said Adam was formed,
-
Eve was made. She wasn't worth.
-
That's an offense to the church waring to him.
-
I'm telling you you gotta know. You got to know church.
-
And this is how you're gonna know. He's gonna know
-
right here, this is how you gonna know. You can't
-
be believing all them folks. They wear renown because they
-
got ten thousand members, thirty thousand members lying about the Bible.
-
That ain't no true. That's a lie.
-
I heard a preacher the other day.
-
Said that Adam had a mother. He said, Adam had
-
a mother, but his mother didn't have a shape. Adam
-
had a mother, but his mother didn't have a shape.
-
He used a description and.
-
Said, Adam came from the earth. And the earth is
-
called mother Earth. It's called mother Earth. So the earth
-
was his mother. Y'all better learn his word. I told
-
her brother one time he he wanted to go up
-
against the Muslims. I said, brother, you don't want to
-
go against the Muslims. I said, you need to study
-
his word, I said, And don't study the word to
-
go up against the Muslim. Either, study the word to
-
make improve yourself unto God, a work with need. Now
-
a shame of the God of Jesus Christ if a
-
Muslim comes against See he saw Muslims come against me,
-
and the Lord wrecked their house.
-
They walk. You have seen the dog wrun.
-
I already tell way up under here, up under there,
-
that's how they left me. The Lord used me, and
-
I wrecked them. And he wanted, he wanted. I said,
-
you need to study the word, brother, because they read
-
the Bible and the Koran. See, a lot of folks
-
don't know that Muslims read the Holy Bible. They just think, oh,
-
they got the Koran. That's what you hear.
-
People say they got yeah, they got the Koran.
-
But they read the Bible too, to make the Bible
-
to come against the Bible, to make.
-
It of no effect.
-
And the Koran is right and the Bible is wrong.
-
That's why they read the Bible, so that they can
-
say the Koran is right. But the Koran was wrote
-
by man by man, and only a man. The Bible
-
was wrote by inspiration of God through a man. As
-
