  1. Father, we thank you for this day. We thank you

  2. God for the gift of mothers. In the name of

  3. Jesus Christ, we come humble before thy throne of grace.

  4. We bow down heads and humble hearts, asking if we

  5. said or done anything thus Father, this day you forgive us, Lord,

  6. because Lord, your grace and mercy allowed us to sleep

  7. last night and wake up this morning, even if we

  8. didn't repent before we went to bed. Because of your

  9. gracious and merciful character and your heart that you have

  10. towards us, you still allowed us to get up this morning.

  11. And since we're up and here today, we just want

  12. to proclaim right now, Lord that we thank you for

  13. your grace and your mercy. In the precious name of Jesus,

  14. we give you glory today and we give you honor

  15. that is due only unto you, God, because of the

  16. life that you gave for us to live and not die.

  17. We pray God that your word goes forth. We know

  18. it won't come back void, but allow it to do

  19. what you want it to do, and that we receive

  20. that and let it do just that in our lives.

  21. In the name of Jesus, it is my prayer that

  22. none here today are listening, will reject what you must

  23. speak through me today. In the name of Jesus, we

  24. thank you Lord. Your word is hard, your word is lovely,

  25. your word is soft, Your word is rebuking, Your word

  26. is teaching, and God, we accept that. In the name

  27. of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we thank you

  28. for rebuking the devour for our sake, that we may

  29. live and not die, that we may be able to

  30. listen and hear and do in obedience to your word,

  31. according to the help of the Holy Spirit, who is

  32. our covering, our help. A man somebody, and it is

  33. in Jesus' name we pray, thank God, Amen, and a

  34. man In the book of Luke the Doctor, chapter twenty two,

  35. we thank God for the gift of a mother. Amen.

  36. My mother is no longer here in her physical presence,

  37. but lives always in my heart. Amen. But we thank

  38. God for those who have a mother to go and

  39. celebrate with. Amen. You know, some people believe because they

  40. mother was harsh, was unruly mother, she don't deserve to

  41. be celebrated. But that's not God. Amen. I believe that

  42. they should still go and celebrate that mother, whether she

  43. took care of him or not, she's still the mother, aymen.

  44. For the Bible tells us to honor thy mother and

  45. thy father, and didn't say honor them because they was

  46. good to you, how bad to you. It gave you

  47. an order to obey it, and it gave them one

  48. to obey. It didn't just give you one. God didn't

  49. just deal with the child. He dealt with the parent too.

  50. But we're talking about the child right now. Ay Man. Amen.

  51. Every child should that knows better. Some don't know no

  52. better because they don't have Jesus. And some know better

  53. but don't know how to do better because they don't

  54. have Jesus. Amen. But those of us didn't know better

  55. should always do better. In the Book of Luke, chapter

  56. twenty two and verse thirty one, I'm gonna try to

  57. get this in and get out of the way so

  58. folks can enjoy the gift that God had given them

  59. in the Mother, Peter says in the Book of Peter

  60. rather verse thirty one. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon.

  61. You notice he didn't call him Peter. Right. Behold, Satan

  62. has desire to have you, that he may sift you

  63. as we But I have prayed for you, for your

  64. faith fail not. And when you are converted, you know

  65. once you come back from there, saying, straighten your strengthen

  66. your brethren, see the Lord, we are. We are the

  67. saints of God, and the devil wants to sift you.

  68. So we're asking God today to help the sifted saints. Amen,

  69. help the sifting sifted saints. Lord, and he verse thirty three.

  70. He Peter said, unto him, Lord, I am ready to

  71. go with you both into prison and to death. See

  72. Peter speaking of his own power here. And he said,

  73. I tell you, Peter, I hear what you're saying. Man,

  74. But the cock shall not crawl this day before by

  75. shall thrice denied that you even know me. Brother, I'm

  76. just paraphrasing a little. And he said up. And he said,

  77. unto them, when I sent you without purse and script,

  78. stripe and shoes, straps and shoes lacked you anything, you

  79. ain't lack nothing. Because I sent you out there without nothing,

  80. you didn't lack anything. You lacked you. Well, let me

  81. read it again. And he said it to them, when

  82. I sent you without purse and strap and shoes lacked

  83. you anything. He's asking the question. And they said, nothing.

  84. So they were speaking of that every need was met

  85. abundantly met. Then said he unto them. But now he

  86. who has a purse, let him take it, and likewise

  87. his strap. And then we jump over to John chapter

  88. seventeen and verse eight. Are you with me? John, chapter

  89. seventeen and verse eight, Are you with me? Hey man?

  90. For I have given unto them the words which you

  91. gave me, and they have received them. Gave it to

  92. him and they got them too, and have known surely

  93. that I came out from you, and they have believed

  94. that you did send me. So they're saying they had

  95. belief in the fact that God did send him. I

  96. pray for them, he says, I pray for them who

  97. he's talking about, the disciples. But when we read on

  98. and we will read on them, he didn't just pray

  99. for them at this particular time. He was also praying

  100. for us future disciples and saints of God. So he says,

  101. this is a personal prayer, in a sessionary prayer for

  102. those believers. I pray for them. I pray not for

  103. the world. He's not saying he don't pray for the world.

  104. He's saying, right now, I ain't praying for the world

  105. right now, and I'm praying for them. See, some people

  106. will take that and run with it. But that's what

  107. he meant, because if he didn't mean that, he said

  108. in John three sixteen he says, what God to love

  109. the world that he gave is only begotten son. So

  110. he did pray for the world. But right now he's

  111. speaking personally, just like you hear me say sometime, Lord,

  112. I'm talking personally. I'm talking about Harvestown Christian Church right now, God,

  113. personal prayer for the saints, personal prayer that he was

  114. praying not just for the Saint before his disciples right here,

  115. but for them which you have given me. See, I

  116. pray for them. I pray not for the world, but

  117. for them which you have given me. They are thine,

  118. and all mine are thine, and thine are mine, and

  119. I am glorified in them. Now only Jesus can say

  120. that part right, second part right there? Okay, A man can't.

  121. A man can say all mine are thine. A man

  122. can say that all mine are thine. But only Jesus

  123. can say all thine are mine. Are you hearing me?

  124. And I know he says, And now I am no

  125. more in the world. But these are in the world,

  126. and I come to you, Holy Father. He talking about

  127. being a sin. He's acending keep through your own name,

  128. those whom you have given me, that they may be

  129. one as we are. They're gonna be in unity like

  130. me and you God. They're gonna be in unity like

  131. we are. While I was with them in the world,

  132. I kept them in your name. Those who you gave

  133. me I have kept. And none of them is lost.

  134. But the son of tradition talking about Judas that the

  135. scripture might be fulfilled, he was only lost so that

  136. the scriptures could be fulfilled. But he always had to

  137. have twelve disciples. That's why they cast a lot as

  138. another script as another story, ay Man, And now verse thirteen,

  139. come I to you, and these things I speak in

  140. the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

  141. I have given them your word, and the world has

  142. hated them because they are not of the world, even

  143. as I am not of the world. So I prayed

  144. not that you should take them out of the world.

  145. That's not my prayer. But what my prayer is but

  146. that you should keep them from the evil. And this

  147. is only done for the saints of God. Through the

  148. Cross and faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen,

  149. you may be seated in the House of the Lord.

  150. Let's break it down a little bit so y'all can

  151. go on do what you do. Amen. Again, here we

  152. are with instructions from heaven to help us. Amen, to

  153. help us along life's journey, because life is a journey. Amen.

  154. And in this journey, our prayers are with God. Our

  155. prayers I answer, and some of our prayers are trying

  156. to catch up to us. Amen. This is a life

  157. of trials and tribulations. Amen, that we live. We're going

  158. to live a life of trials and tribulations. Amen. And

  159. I pray that you come to understand that trials and

  160. tribulations and adversities of life are never pleasant. But it's

  161. in those things that we learn to be dependent on God. Amen.

  162. Even the Heathen, when adversity comes hard enough, they holler,

  163. oh God, oh Jesus. I think the most famed one

  164. is Oh Lord, diversity. And I know that nobody in

  165. here wishes for trials and adversities, but some people do unaware.

  166. Some people really do unaware. They get caught up in

  167. the message, They get caught up with everybody else that's saying,

  168. and they say it to without understanding you ever hear

  169. people say more power, lawd more power, Lord, more power.

  170. You have heard that before they sing it, don't they

  171. You know what they're doing. They're asking for trials and tribulations.

  172. They're asking for him.

  173. Why you say that, passing, because they're only through trials

  174. and tribulations that you can get any power. So they're

  175. asking for unaware they're asking for you want power.

  176. Tribal and true relations build up strength in you. That's

  177. where it comes from, to strengthen you, to give you

  178. power more power in the law drawing because what it

  179. does it draws you closer to God and dependent on Him. Amen,

  180. and in the hope of His presence in your life.

  181. But it's through them, it's through adversity. It's through trials

  182. and tribulations that God refines us. If you read in

  183. the Book of Malachi, chapter three, see nobody reads Chapter three,

  184. verse one eight. They started eight will a man rob God?

  185. Then they throw they part in there to scare you

  186. to death. You're cursed with a curse. And God didn't

  187. even talking to you, Amen, because God didn't give you

  188. the order He gave the Israelites because if you read

  189. in verse seven, it says, and you have not kept

  190. my ordnance of your father's move right along. But there's

  191. a refining fire that God has for the souls and

  192. minds of his people. And trials and tribulations causes us

  193. to be refined, amen, and to draw nearer to him,

  194. just like when a when a metalsmith takes metal and

  195. puts it into the fire. And once he puts it

  196. into the fire and it gets hot enough to where

  197. he can deal with it, because you gotta heat it up,

  198. because you got to heat up a hard headed individual

  199. to make it soft. You don't hear what I'm saying.

  200. You gotta get that head soft so you can mold

  201. that head, you understand. So they got they gotta get

  202. that metal soft enough to where they can mold it

  203. and shape it the way they trying to get it

  204. to look like. You understand what I'm saying. So that's

  205. what God trying to do, shape us and mold us

  206. into his image. See you see that metal when you

  207. heat it up, and you know you see them when

  208. they put it down and they bang on it. Why

  209. it's red hot. What they doing once they take it

  210. out of the furnace. If y'all feeling what I'm feeling

  211. you with these words, God just he just bompart me

  212. with it with when when he take it acter, you know,

  213. you got to go in the furnace. You know, we

  214. be in the furnace sometimes, but we don't burn up.

  215. God pull us out. He pulled the metal out, and

  216. then they beat on it. And then God he starts

  217. shaving it because it's soft enough. Now that mind is

  218. soft enough. Now it been beat on enough. Now you

  219. can soften it up. And when they begin to take

  220. the metal out, and they out of the furnace, and

  221. they place it on the anvil and they begin to

  222. beat on it while it's hot, that white hot. Then

  223. the draws begins to fall off the metal. Y'all don't

  224. hear what I'm saying. See when they beat that metal,

  225. draws falls off of it. The no good stuff, the

  226. stuff that can't use falls off the metal as they

  227. beat on it. Are you hearing me? And God allows

  228. us to enter the furnace of affliction so that we

  229. might refine, I be refined and purified our lives. Amen,

  230. and see the most difficult adversities we face that which

  231. comes from the very sin in our life and the

  232. attack of the devil. Amen. See, I have to say

  233. the very sin that tries to come into our life,

  234. or even as in our life, I have to say

  235. that and the devil, because there's two different things happening.

  236. The devil can't make you do anything. He just a

  237. cond artist, if I say, he's just a motivated speaker. Amen.

  238. And it's up to you to allow the sin to

  239. be manipulated. You ain't enough to cause you to get

  240. into it. Amen. So the diversities of life is the

  241. sin we allow in our life and the devil. Because

  242. we see here in the text that Simon Peter is

  243. made to understand the fact that he is about to

  244. be tested. He was made to understand that he said Peter,

  245. or he said Simon Simon. He didn't say Peter because

  246. Peter meant rock. So he wasn't rock right there at

  247. that point. He knew he wasn't gonna be no rock

  248. at that point, so he said Simon Simon. He wasn't

  249. gonna be no rock right there, because he said if

  250. he was gonna be a rock, he would have said Peter.

  251. But he said Simon you gonna deny me thrife because

  252. you ain't the rock. At that point, rock go crack huh,

  253. So he said Simon, And he was made to understand

  254. at that point because he told him you about to

  255. be tested. Doc. The devil has sought are The word

  256. he used was desire to sift. You. See, that's what

  257. the devil does. He don't call come on at once.

  258. He don't walk up with Jesus. Man, he can't come

  259. on at once. He walking with Jesus. He gonna get

  260. rebuilt knocked down, But he walked here with Jesus. You

  261. walking with Jesus. He don't come only once. He don't

  262. come all it wants to you come a little bit

  263. at a time. See, he know he donet been to

  264. the cross. He knew once he went to the crow

  265. he had lost his power. So he don't even come.

  266. All it wants to the heathen. He come to the heathen. Man.

  267. They look like they enjoying him. Cigarettes. What about you

  268. get your wom sifting sifting? Get that cigarette, and that

  269. cigarette ain't good, man. You need to put a little

  270. weed with that sifty. That ain't strong enough. Man. You

  271. want to really get blasted. Better put some rock cocaine

  272. on it. Yeah, what a little weed. They gonna get

  273. you right there? See sifting. Why is he shifting? Because

  274. he trying to kill you, That's why. And he don't

  275. come all he wants. And that's why you see people say.

  276. That's why you see people man, I've been on that

  277. stuff for thirty one years because they keep chasing that devil.

  278. That's why they chasing it. See, once you get that

  279. first what they call it in the world, When you

  280. get that first blast, it buy out your pupils, just boom.

  281. What happens after that to get it again? Guess what,

  282. you can't never get it again. You only get it

  283. the first time. But you chasing what you got the

  284. first time. See I talked, I talked drug ANOLMS class.

  285. I had to wake them up to it. They told me,

  286. I didn't know what's talking about because I ain't never

  287. been on dough. But I said, sit down and listen.

  288. I'm gonna help you, I said, cause the Holy Girl said,

  289. I'm able to teach all things. I said, you're chasing

  290. that blast you got the first time. That's what they do. See,

  291. that's what the devil do. He's your enemy, he's your

  292. avacar and once he gives you that first blast of sin.

  293. Oh yeah, it's like a man that commits the commiss fornication.

  294. Once he commenced that fornication. Hold, Lord, that want some

  295. good stuff right there? Let me try another one and

  296. see how that feel. And another one. Now you've got a's. See,

  297. you had the itchy thing first crabs, and then you

  298. ran on the sickness. Then you got a hold of

  299. something that you can't scratch. Sifty sweet you do. You

  300. don't hear what I'm saying. So he wanted to sift Peter.

  301. He told him, you're gonna be tested. Now, you got

  302. to be tested. But guess what he said, Oh my god,

  303. you ought to be encouraged by this if you ain't

  304. evencouraged about nothing else. He said when you read, Peter

  305. should have been encouraged. I wonder if Peter even heard

  306. what the Lord said, he should have been encouraged. He

  307. might have been the first part of that might have

  308. been like what the devil has desired to cist you man,

  309. But the second part should have said he should have said, oh,

  310. he might have been like this at first, but that

  311. second part should have went, oh, because you know what

  312. he said. But I'm praying for you, Peter, what Jesus

  313. God praying for me. I ain't worried about that working.

  314. I ain't worry about that working. You don't hear what

  315. I'm saying. I might pray for you. You might wonder

  316. if it gonna work. But if Jesus said, I'm praying

  317. for your man, yea, you don't have to worry about

  318. that work. You see. The Lord said, Look, the devil

  319. sees to saf you man, but I'm gonna take an

  320. act this part in the desire that he has to

  321. do to you. I'm gonna be retroactive in this thing

  322. for you that I'll tell you. Well, Lord, I'll thank you.

  323. In verse thirty one, he says, See see right there,

  324. that's just a praise. That's just a praise area right there.

  325. But I'm praying for you, Peter. He desires to sif

  326. you die. Yes, he does. That's a praise that I

  327. just can't get away from that right there, y'all give

  328. me a minut I'm gonna try to get up out

  329. of here, but just give me a minute right now.

  330. I desire he desired to sift the man to take

  331. him down. Tear him down, brutalizing. You gotta understand what

  332. sifting means. I'm gonna get to it in a minute.

  333. He desired to brutalize Peter. But Jesus said, wait a minute,

  334. you didne activated something in me, because that's mine. You

  335. heard what he said, dying or mind and mind are ying?

  336. That's mine. Doctor, You didne activated something in me. Mm hmm.

  337. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan had desire

  338. to have you. Mm hm. He desired to have it.

  339. You know what. That's special. That's also special that Satan

  340. had desired You know why, I'm gonna tell you what

  341. I truly believe. I speak as a man. I believe

  342. he really desired to have Peter because Peter, to be

  343. seemed to have been the strongest disciple standing. That's the

  344. way slavery was. They take the biggest bunk of the man,

  345. and that's the crated him in front of all the

  346. slaves to weaken the rest of him. Glory to God.

  347. So he desired Peter.

  348. Uh.

  349. It's just like job when when when the Bible reads

  350. that the sons of God had all come together and Joe,

  351. but the sons of God wasn't who God chose for Satan.

  352. He said, have you have you thought about job dot?

  353. Joe was special. You don't hear what I'm saying. So

  354. he desired him. And you see that right in verse

  355. thirty one. But also that you see in verse thirty

  356. one is no matter who you are. It don't matter

  357. who you are as a child of God. We all

  358. have a determined thought who's determined to to to take

  359. us out. He's determined to kill and destroy us. He's determined.

  360. But what we see also is that Jesus is telling

  361. Peter that Satan has made a request to have all

  362. of disciples to test what what? What want? What did

  363. he even want with them? To sift them? He wanted

  364. to test the reality of the faith that they claim

  365. to have. In Jesus, that's the same thing you want

  366. with you. He comes to test the reality of the

  367. faith because he says he desires, which means he demand

  368. to ask for you. It's the plural in nature in

  369. his demand, in his request, he's requesting to sift in

  370. the Yet, y'all bear with me. I have a hard

  371. time saying this word in the agricultural somebody say that

  372. for me? You know what I'm saying, don't you see

  373. I hear somebody say it. I can see it. Say

  374. it again. See in agricultural, in the agricultural word, the

  375. word is in agriculture, the word shifting. In agriculture, this

  376. word or the term of this word means to It

  377. means it's a savage process. I told you he wanted

  378. to brutalize him, didn't I. The word shift in our

  379. cultural word, and the meaning of it is to sift.

  380. Sithe means it's a it's a it's a it's it's

  381. it's a hard process that the week goes through, you understand.

  382. So he was demanding him. And the way they do it,

  383. even back in the day, it's a savage process. They

  384. take that week, beat it. You know what I'm say.

  385. What they do, that's how they get it. That's how

  386. they break the week down. That's how they break it down.

  387. They break the week down like that, y'all. Hear what

  388. I'm saying, y'all the week? You heard the start the

  389. week and the tear y'all the week. And so it's

  390. a savage process of separating. See, they trying to get

  391. that husk of the week from the grave. So they

  392. it's savagely done. And that's what the devil was trying

  393. to do to Peter. See, this is how critical this

  394. process he is. Satan wanted to tear the heart of God.

  395. He wanted to tear the heart of God by proving

  396. that there was no reality to the faith of the

  397. disciples and us as well. That's what he's always trying

  398. to do. Still kill and destroyed the faith. And what

  399. he was trying to do with Peter when sifted him,

  400. he was trying to tear the heart of God. He

  401. ain't really faith for the youth. I'm gonna show you

  402. he ain't faith for the youth. He's trying to do

  403. the same thing with us, the very heart of God,

  404. by showing God that our faith is not real towards God.

  405. That's the reality of what he's trying to do. There's

  406. no reality in their faith. Lord, that's what he's trying

  407. to do. That's what he's saying. And this becomes a

  408. battle with the determined foe, the enemy. He wants to

  409. prove that we are phonies, we don't really have faith

  410. in God. That's why these trials and adversities come, and

  411. God allows them to come. To prove to him that

  412. we do have it. See, Satan don't know. God does know.

  413. So in him trying to prove it to God by

  414. the adversities, in the trials and tribulations, God proven to him.

  415. Yes they do. He wants to ruin our testimony, destroy home,

  416. take away every value of our life, and leave us

  417. with nothing but a devastated shell of a person of

  418. what we had. But I'm reminded in the Book of John,

  419. see that right there as a John Ate in forty

  420. four moment from medd y'all, don't hear what I'm saying.

  421. This is John eighty eight. This is John eight and

  422. forty four moment for me and you as well, because

  423. in John eight and forty eight the Lord says, he

  424. gives a declaration, then answers the Jews and says, unto him,

  425. say we are not weare of what you are a

  426. Samaritan and have a devil. Jesus answered, I have not

  427. a devil. But I honor my father, and you do

  428. honor this, honor me and my Yes, this is this

  429. is no. No, no, this is that. Yeah, this is it.

  430. This is it, This is it, this is it, And

  431. I seek not my own glory, who seeks and judges. Really, really,

  432. I say unto you. If a man keep my saying

  433. he should never see death, then said the Jews, and

  434. to him, now we know that you have a devil,

  435. Abraham is dead and the prophets. But let's back up

  436. to forty four is the declaration that lets me know

  437. when the enemy comes to us. He says, why do

  438. you forty three? Why do you not understand my speech?

  439. Because you cannot hear my word? Why you are of

  440. your father the devil and the lust of your father

  441. you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning,

  442. and a bold not in the truth, because there is

  443. no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he

  444. speaks of his own, for he is a liar and

  445. the father of it. So when he comes to try

  446. to dishonor me and my faith, this my moment of

  447. eight forty four, You a liar and the truth ain't

  448. in you. You are a liar and a murderer from

  449. the beginning, and ain't no truth in you. Because what

  450. he does he digitally, he digitally comes after each and

  451. every one of us to seek us, to take us out,

  452. to try to show God that we don't have the

  453. faith we're claiming. That's why he comes to sift. Sift

  454. you already understand. It's brutal, and he comes like a

  455. thief in the night. If you had known when the

  456. thief would come, you would have prepared for the thief.

  457. But see when you in this word and the thief come,

  458. you're prepared for him. But if you ain't in this word,

  459. when he comes, it's gonna be devastating, for he is

  460. a liar and the father of it. And the next

  461. thing this teaches us we have not only do we

  462. have an adversary that's trying to sift us and take

  463. us out, guess what, we have a powerful ally in

  464. our corner that never leaves us north of seesus. See

  465. when he tries, when he tries his thing on us,

  466. and he fails because of our powerful ally, he leaves,

  467. but he comes back. You better read Joe, he failed

  468. trying to cause job to fall short of God's glory.

  469. But then he came back again. See some read that

  470. the thing he never stopped messing with all yea, he did,

  471. he stopped when he failed, and he came back again.

  472. But guess what Jesus was still there. When he knock

  473. on your door and you open and the door get opened,

  474. Jesus said, can I help you? See see you can't

  475. when you go to the door. You mess up when

  476. he knock on your door trying to deceive you. Let Jesus,

  477. can I help you? When Jesus opens the door and

  478. say can I help you? They for please he get

  479. on there. See we got a powerful adversary in our corner.

  480. And he let Peter know that I'm gonna pray for you. Brother.

  481. He gonna say, if you're gonna come to sif you

  482. you're gonna deny me thrice, but I'm gonna pray for you.

  483. I'm gonna restore you. You're gonna fall short, but I'm

  484. gonna restore. He told him he was gonna fall short,

  485. but I'm gonna restore you. He told Adam the day

  486. that he eat of it, he would he restore him.

  487. Y'all gotta remember that now, because Jesus said, and Luke,

  488. chapter twenty two, in verse thirty two, he said to him,

  489. but I have prayed for you that your faith fell nothing.

  490. He said, samon Simon, the whole Satan desired to sit.

  491. If you in verse thirty one, but then thirty two,

  492. he says, but I have prayed for you. Look, he

  493. didn't say I'm praying for you. He said I prayed.

  494. I've already done it because I knew it was coming.

  495. He knows you gonna fall short, so he's not ready

  496. to pray for you. See, he ain't waiting for you

  497. to fall short and then go God, please heave him. No,

  498. he prayed already before the fall. Y'all better listen to

  499. the Lord. We got a powerful ally. He desired to

  500. sifty man, But I'm already prayed for you, that your faith,

  501. that your faith failed, not because that's what he's after.

  502. What a prayer. We got to embrace that, Amen, Lord,

  503. We got to embrace that. Lord, Lord, Lord, let our

  504. faith fail. Not. See if you can't take that lightly,

  505. you can't take that light, and you can't run with

  506. it in the wrong direction either. You can't run with

  507. it in the wrong direction. You can't take it light.

  508. You ain't run out of the acting a fool because

  509. you know God already prayed for you. You don't hear

  510. that's where you're testing it. These are the things that

  511. may come on you unaware and may even come when

  512. God tell you they're gonna come, but you ain't paying

  513. attention like Peter wasn't. Because Peter he was paying attention,

  514. but he was believing in his own strengths. That's where

  515. he felt, See, we gotta we gotta lean and depend

  516. on him. Ay man, you see, Peter said. His reply

  517. was with his chest out Jesus. He let him know,

  518. he said, man, his reply to Jesus that he was

  519. ready to go with Jesus, I'm ready to go with

  520. your Jesus, both in the prison and in the death.

  521. What that was easy to say, deep, It's easy to

  522. say a whole lot of stuff, uh huh. And so

  523. what they said that what your mouth said, We're gonna

  524. see what your action is gonna produce. Your mouth said that,

  525. but let's see what your action is gonna produce. That

  526. was easy to say for Peter. But when it came

  527. time to perform that, Jesus informed him that before that

  528. cock shell crow, Peter, you will have denied me knowingly,

  529. Jesus said three times. That's why they called it a testimony,

  530. hey man, without a true testimony, without a true test rather,

  531. there is no testimony, hey man. But when we look

  532. at this. We look at this, we look at this again,

  533. look at this thing. He told Peter he was gonna fail.

  534. Are y'all with me? But guess what he did? He

  535. told Peter he would fail. But he told Peter, I

  536. prayed for you in your failure. I went, I went

  537. before you when prayer before it ever happened. That's what

  538. he told me. See that's the good news. See, no

  539. failure should be ever considered final. Your failure shouldn't be

  540. considered final. See Peter fell. He thought maybe it was

  541. final because he went out. He cried, He weep bitterly.

  542. Not really probably at that point understanding what Jesus said,

  543. I've already prayed for your man.

  544. And he let him know you gonna come out of it.

  545. And when you come out of it, strengthen your brethren.

  546. You can't strengthen your brother that you ain't gonna come

  547. out of it. He told him he was gonna come

  548. out of it. Failure shouldn't be considered permittent.

  549. That's what Jesus said. He prayed for his faith to fail,

  550. not and he became converted. He said that when you

  551. become converted, when you become converted, you're gonna be converted

  552. after this fall. Brother, I'm telling you, he said, but

  553. when you do, you ain't on your own. Now, once

  554. you get tight and strong, strengthen thy brethren because they're weak.

  555. You see. There's great news in this and it's in

  556. John chapter seventeen, and I'm gonna close with this John

  557. chapter seventeen, Jesus had a prayer on the throne of God,

  558. and that prayer includes us right now. He says, Father,

  559. have given them the words that you have given me,

  560. and they are studying them right now. That's what he

  561. said to God. He's talking to God, and they have

  562. I've received them, and I have known surely that I

  563. have come out from thee and them that the Father

  564. has given me. He says, you don't have to take

  565. them out of the world. But he says, Father, keep

  566. them from the evil. Now, let me get this.

  567. In John seventeen, these words spoke Jesus and lifted up

  568. his eyes to heaven because he talking to the Father

  569. and said, the hour is come.

  570. It's time glorify your son, that your son also may

  571. glorifa you. He's praying. This is inncessory prayer. You know

  572. what in acessory prayer me he ain't just praying for himself.

  573. He praying for others. But those others are the believers

  574. and disciples. As you have given him power over all flesh,

  575. that he should give eternal life to as many as

  576. you have given him. And this is life eternal, that

  577. they might know that the only true God and Jesus Christ,

  578. whom you have sent, I have glorified you on the earth.

  579. I have finished the work which you have me to do.

  580. And now Father glorified thy me with thine own self.

  581. The glory which I had with you before the world

  582. was his disciples. He goes on the verse six. I

  583. have manifested your name unto the men which you gave

  584. me out of the world. You see, first he prayed

  585. about him. Now he's put the disciples in it. And

  586. us I have manifested your word to the me. And

  587. when you gave me out of the world, yours they were,

  588. and you gave them me, and they have kept your words.

  589. Now they have known that all things whatsoever you give

  590. me are of you. For I have given unto them

  591. the words which you gave me, and they have received

  592. them and have known surelyn that I came out from you.

  593. And they have believed that you did send me. I

  594. pray for them. Pray not for the word. I pray

  595. for them. I pray not for the world, but for

  596. them which you gave have given me. They are thine,

  597. and all thine are, and all mine are thine, and

  598. all thine are mine. And I am glorified in them.

  599. And now I am no more in the world. But

  600. these are in the world talking about us. I have

  601. come to you, Holy Father, keep through your own name,

  602. those whom you have given me, that they may be

  603. one as we are. While I was with them in

  604. the world, I kept them in your name. Those who

  605. you gave me I have kept. And none of them

  606. is lost, but the son of tradition, that the scripture

  607. might be fulfilled. That's the only reason one was lost,

  608. because the scripture need to be fulfilled. But they still gained.

  609. And now come I to you, and these things I

  610. speak in the world, that they might have my joy

  611. fulfilled in themselves. I have given them your word, and

  612. the world has hated them because they are not of

  613. the world, as I am not of the world. I

  614. pray not that you should take them out of the

  615. world but you, but that you should keep them from

  616. the evil. This is done through the Cross people. They

  617. are not of the world, even as I am not

  618. of the world, sanctified them through your truth. Your word

  619. is truth. You're gonna be sanctified through the word of God.

  620. As you have sent me into the world, even so

  621. have I also sent them into the world. And for

  622. their sake I sanctified myself, that they also might be

  623. sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone

  624. here we come, here we come de Neither pray I

  625. for these only. Now Jesus is speaking not only of

  626. his present disciples, but the multitude in all ages who

  627. would believe the testimony of Jesus Christ. Now he ain't

  628. just praying for the disciples. Now we in say we

  629. in now we in. Now neither pray out for these alone,

  630. but for them also, which should believe on me through

  631. their word, that they all may be one, as you,

  632. Father are in me, that they also may be one

  633. in us. The world may believe that you have sent me,

  634. and the blurry which you have, which you gave me,

  635. I have given them that they may be one, even

  636. as we are one, I in them and you and me,

  637. that they may be made perfect in one, and that

  638. the world may know that you have sent me and

  639. have loved me as you have loved me. That the

  640. world may know that you have sent me and have

  641. loved them as you have loved me. Father, I will

  642. that they also, whom you have given me, be with

  643. me where I am, that they may behold my glory

  644. which you have given me, for you love me before

  645. the foundation of the world. That's Jesus proclamation, Old Righteous Father.

  646. The world has not known you, but I have known you,

  647. and the please have known that you have sent me.

  648. And I have declared unto them your name, and will

  649. declare it that the love wherew you have loved me

  650. may be in them and in I in them. Can

  651. the church say amen? Heymen, thank you Lord, hallylujah. That's

  652. for the sifted saints. The sifty Saints need to know

  653. that there is victory in your corner. Your fail is

  654. not permanent because Jesus has prayed for you. It events.

  655. You can bank on it. It's not by chance, it's

  656. not by accident. Jesus didn't do it by accident. He

  657. is not a mistake. He has prayed for us. You see,

  658. you had to understand verse chapter seventeen is where Jesus prayed.

  659. Guess what, He didn't just pray that prayer. He prayed

  660. that prayer before he went to the cross. Are you

  661. hearing me? So that means he didn't pray that prayer

  662. after the cross. He prayed it before the cross in

  663. belief of the cross. So what that means is that

  664. was a long time ago. So it's already been prayed

  665. and it still works. That's the point I'm getting to.

  666. It still works. When you fall short, it ain't permanent

  667. because He's already prayed for your failures. Your future failures,

  668. and your past failures have already been prayed for. Amen, Amen, Amen,

  669. let us stand
