We thank God for his words and his truth. Amen.
-
Let us pray. Father. We thank you Lord for another day.
-
We thank you for our lives. Today. We thank you
-
so much God for being who you are in our lives.
-
We thank you Father for everything you do for us.
-
In the name of Jesus, We'll give you glory and
-
we give you praise today in the mighty name of
-
Jesus Christ. Now touch the very heads of everyone here,
-
to the crown of their head, to their toes. Give
-
us understanding, Fill us with your knowledge and wisdom. Father,
-
help us, Holy Spirit, help us in these last and
-
evil times. In the name of Jesus. We think and
-
we glorify you today, God, and we're here to heal
-
word from you. We come for no shape, form, or fashion,
-
but to hear encouraging word, a word that's going to
-
help us, a word of rebuke, a word of encouragement.
-
Whatever your will is today, God, to help us to
-
continue on this path of righteousness for your namesake. And
-
this we pray in Jesus' name. Amen. We talked this
-
morning about the judgment that will come upon Jerusalem and Judah. Amen.
-
Turn me down a little bit, Dick, so there is
-
a continuation here in this message today, for that was
-
a judgment that would come up on Judah and Jerusalem.
-
But also we're going to talk about this judgment was
-
a warning to them, Amen, So this is a warning.
-
It was also a warning to us today. So today
-
were talking about the warning. You see, Christ, Christ is
-
all knowing. A man. Christ is all knowing. Jesus Christ
-
is all knowing. And Jesus tells us in the scriptures
-
in the Book of Matthews that many people are going
-
to be lost, but only few are going to be saved.
-
Are you hearing what I'm saying? I said, Jesus said
-
that there will be many people lost and only a
-
few will be saved. This Jesus now. And there's a
-
reason why I said that. Jesus Christ is all knowing,
-
because behind me telling you that he's all knowing, he
-
says many will be lost and few will be saved.
-
And since he's all knowing, that has to be true.
-
How should I say it is true? Amen? Let's look
-
at Matthew chapter seven and verse thirteen. Are you with me?
-
Chapter seven and verse thirteen? When you get there, say man,
-
Amen Matthews Chapter seven, verse thirteen. Amen, in a enter
-
you in at the straight gate? This is the door.
-
Who is Jesus Christ? Amen? And before I go on,
-
let's look at John chapter ten. I want to make
-
this very this. I want to make very clear to
-
all of us. Say to you, I said all of us.
-
I want to make this very clear to all of
-
us what the scriptures are saying. And the Holy Spirit
-
is gonna help us. Hey man, He says, enter you
-
into you? Who is you? Me? And you in at
-
the straight gate? This is the door, the gate. Jesus
-
is the door. We already know that. But in John
-
ten's ten and verse one he says, verily, verily, I
-
say unto you, he who enters not by the door
-
into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the
-
same as a thief and a robber. Jesus is the door.
-
It's the only way to go in. If you don't
-
go in that way, you're a thief in the robber.
-
Did y'all see that? Verse fourteen says, well, rather, the
-
rest of this scripture says for why he says, inner,
-
you in at the straight gate? For why is the gate?
-
Why is the gate? There's a straight gate? And then
-
there's a wide gate, and broad is the way that
-
leads to destruction. And many there be which go in
-
there at. So notice it says many. You see that
-
it said many. So I just told you that Jesus
-
Christ is all knowing, and Jesus Christ says there are
-
going to be many many you see, there were many
-
lost and few were going to be saved. So it
-
says many there be which go in they're at. So
-
it's just telling you that they're gonna many many people
-
of the world, and it is which are false and
-
led by false people will be in eternal hell fire.
-
Hey Man. Verse fourteen says in Matthews Chapters seven, because
-
straight is the gate. Straight is the gate, and narrow
-
is the way which leads unto life, and few there
-
be that find it. The requirements are greater than most
-
are willing to accept to any in the straight gate?
-
Can I say that again? Sure I can. The requirements
-
are great, Amen, The requirements are greater than most are
-
willing to accept. But they're not that great for those.
-
Broad is the way, Because broad is the way. You
-
can do anything you want to do, any way you
-
want to do it, anyhow you want to do it. Amen.
-
But we see her in these verses. What Jesus is
-
given a warning to it, Man, you may be seated
-
in the house of the Lord. What Jesus is given
-
warning to here? Amen, our God, you according to the Bible,
-
not me. Majority of people will be lost. So if
-
this is a warning from God, if we've never ever
-
taken a warning at faith value, this is one we
-
need to take at faith value because it's real. A
-
lot of warnings are real, but not as detrimental as
-
this warning. Amen. And if we look at verse twenty
-
one in the same chapter of Matthews, it says, not
-
everyone who says and to me this God he's saying,
-
seek See he's out knowing people. Let's keep that in
-
our heads. Okay, God is all knowing. He knows everything.
-
If you walk up to God and say you think
-
you know everything, it ain't nothing to think about. He
-
know everything. It ain't like telling one of us you
-
think you know everything. No, God knows everything. And since
-
he knows everything, he says right here, not everyone who
-
says them to me, Lord shall enter into the Kingdom
-
of Heaven. So if God says not everyone that says Lord,
-
Lord go in the kingdom heaven. They ain't gonna en
-
him because God said so. And then he goes on
-
to say, but he who does the will of my father,
-
which is in heaven, what is the will of the father?
-
Verse twenty three tells us the will of the Father? Amen.
-
And then will I profess them to them? I never
-
knew you? But he says here in verse twenty two,
-
many were saying to me in that day. Many are
-
gonna say that. But verse twenty three says, and then
-
will I profess them to them? I never knew you.
-
Depart from me. You work, you who work iniquity. So
-
that's what he's talking about in verse twenty three. In
-
verse twenty one, he's talking about the people in verse
-
twenty three. Hey man, So here we are presented in
-
this verse. The gates gates two gates, not three gates,
-
not four gates. See, we don't have a maybe gate.
-
We don't have a maybe gate. We got a narrow
-
gate and a bron gate. There's no maybe gate. There's
-
no maybe gate. There's no straveling defense gate. In other words,
-
there's no gate in between. There's only a straight gate
-
and a narrow gate, and that's all that's all God.
-
I ain't present nothing to you. I'm just telling you
-
what God had presented. That's all that God has presented
-
to us is two gates, two gates. You either going
-
in this gate, are you going in that gate. There
-
ain't no maybe gate. He ain't no stravling the fence gate.
-
But Jesus commanded his followers to enter in through the
-
narrow gate. He commanded you to do that, which is
-
God's kingdom. So if you go through the other gate,
-
you're rebellious against God because he commands you to go
-
in the narrow gate. Yet out hear what I'm saying.
-
I'm trying to I'm gonna break it down. He ain't
-
gonna miss this. You ain't walk out of here and missus.
-
So he commands us to go in through the narrow
-
gate because that's the gate that leads to the kingdom.
-
It's a small gate, and it's a narrow road, but
-
it's a loan, but it alone leads to eternal life.
-
It's narrow, but it alone leads to eternal life. And
-
the broad gate. Again, the broad gate is so wide
-
because you can do whatever you want to get in there.
-
It don't matter what you do to get in there.
-
You ain't got to prove yourself. You can clown like
-
a fool. You can do whatever you want to do, skip, hop, jumping,
-
slide and all kinds of stuff. But that gate's gonna
-
welcome you. You can be a homosexual, you can be
-
a liar or thief and a robber. That gate's gonna
-
accept you. You can be an adulterous and an eye doulger.
-
That gate's gonna accept you. Meant anything you wanna do,
-
that gate's gonna accept you. That's why it's broad. But
-
the other gate, it's a small gate, and it's narrow.
-
It's a narrow road, but it alone least the eternal life. Amen.
-
But the wide gate, however, it's a highway. I don't
-
know how many lanes. I was gonna say seven, but
-
I knew it's more than that. It's so wide. There's
-
no other side traffic going that way. In this way.
-
It's so wide, ain't no traffic going that way. All
-
of its going that way one way, and that way
-
is the hell. The highway to Hell is broad, and
-
it is the easy way because there's plenty of room. Amen,
-
It's plenty of room because it's for many people. And
-
you can wander in and continually continuously, continuous, continuously wandering.
-
It ain't gonna move. The narrow gate will never move,
-
but the broadgate will widen. Widen. Have a big need
-
to get to exception. The narrow gate is gonna accept
-
you through the narrow gate, is it. It ain't gonna
-
move for you. Walls ain't gonna move. You're gonna have
-
to walk straight. Ain't no wobbling, none of that straight Now,
-
the gateway of life, it's small, but not It's small
-
but not because it's difficult amen to become a Christian,
-
but because there is only one way, and only a
-
few decide to walk the road, because why they accept
-
conditions of God. One John chapter two. We're gonna roll
-
with this little first, little part of this, and then
-
we're gonna move on. First John chapter two and verse three.
-
And it says this is evidence. In other words, this
-
is evidence, and here bout we do know it. Didn't
-
say we think about it. He said we know that
-
we know him. And hereby we do know that we
-
know him if we keep his commandments. He who says
-
I know him and keeps not his commandments? What they
-
call him what and what ain't in him is not
-
in him. But somebody say, budd whoso keeps his word
-
in him, rarely is the love of God perfected Hereby
-
Now we say that we are in him. He who
-
says he abides in him our himself also to do what?
-
What must you do? Is you abided him? Do what?
-
To walk even as he walked? In other words, you
-
gotta walk the same walk he walked. See, you know
-
you belong. You know you belong when you are keeping
-
the commandments on a required basis, a regular required basis.
-
You know, let me tell you something. If when people
-
get saved, they know which way they're walking, it's those
-
that claim they save and they ain't saved, they fooling theyself.
-
But when you say, you know how you walking when
-
something come up, you know you ain't supposed to be
-
walking in that direction. You know you ain't spposed to
-
be walking in that direction. You know why because the
-
Holy gools is gonna tell you ain't supposed to be
-
walking in that direction. And you're gonna either listen to
-
the holy ghost and go in at broad road that
-
you're gonna go to that now road, Hey man, so
-
you know you belong when you are keeping His commandments
-
on a regular basis. Because see, somebody says to me,
-
why this keep happening to me? Why they keep happening
-
to me? I said, because you're not consistent, That's what
-
I told her. I said, you're not consistent. Some days
-
you want to go to church. Matter of fact, you
-
don't even go to church hardly, hardly, and then when
-
you go, you pick up nothing because you continue to
-
walk in your ways. And every now and then you
-
want to bend your knees and pray. I said, every
-
now and then you want to bend your knees and pray,
-
and then you you thank God is supposed to give
-
you a rose Ross for Volkswagon money. He ain't gonna
-
do it because you can't afford the Volkswag, I mean
-
the rose Russ because your life. It ain't about the money.
-
It's about your life. It's not affording it. You know
-
why rose ross don't advertise how much they cost because
-
they know their wealth they're worth. Rather, they know how
-
much they're worth. That's why they don't advertise how much
-
they cost. When you see advertising about how much a
-
rose ruse costs somebody else's advertising. They're trying to sell it,
-
but the company don't advertise how much they cost because
-
they already know they're worth. Are you hearing what I'm saying?
-
Mm hm. But you know you belong when you're keeping
-
the commandments on a regular basis and doing as Christ
-
says and doing as Christ wants. Amen. So again, we're
-
still talking about these gates that God has presented to us,
-
and you know which gate you're going to. I'm trying
-
to help you to notice by scripture. These scriptures are
-
telling you which way you're going. Amen. First Peter one. More,
-
first Peter, chapter two, First Peter two, and verse twenty four.
-
And it says he you, who his own self bear
-
our sins and his own body on the tree, that we,
-
being dead to sins sins, should live unto righteousness, by
-
whose stripes you will heal. So he healed our soul,
-
and he healed our physical body as well. He gave
-
an atonement for us. Amen, for you, whereas she going astray,
-
we were of we was a whole flock without a shepherd.
-
But are now somebody said, now return into the shepherd
-
and bishop of your soul. So Jesus Christ gave the
-
atonement for our lives. He's the shepherd, he's the bishop.
-
Was the bishop the overseer of our soul. Amen, to
-
keep us from spiritually wrecking our soul. Amen. So in
-
John thirteen and fifteen, Saint John, that is the Bible
-
speaks here, if I have given you an example, so
-
the disciples were to learn, especially by imitating their teacher. Amen,
-
because he says, for I have given you an example
-
that you should do as I have done to you. Then,
-
of course, in that Pacific passage of scripture, he's talking
-
about feet washing. As I have done to you, I've
-
washed your feet. Peter thought g was too great to
-
wash feet, but Jesus had to let him know, you
-
gotta humble yourself in this walk. You got to have
-
humility in this walk. So he was given an example.
-
When we make it broader than the feet washing, the
-
example was that as I do you do as well
-
as I do to you, you do to each other
-
as well. Amen. In other words, I'm setting the example
-
of how to walk. Amen. So in these verses in
-
Chapter seven thirteen and fourteen, this is talking about this
-
is during the Sermon on the mound. Amen. And as
-
we come to understand that, scholars say somewhere between three
-
to five days Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mound.
-
That should touch home with you because people can't say
-
in church thirty minutes, but they were there three to
-
five days. They didn't move. And because they didn't move
-
and begin to become a great multitude of people, he
-
had to feed them. They didn't move. That's what you
-
need to get your head. They didn't move for three
-
to five days hearing the word of God from Jesus Christ.
-
They didn't Ooo. Folks said in the sanctuary of the
-
churches around the world. Oh this is after thirty minutes.
-
They're looking at the watch. They're ready to go. Three
-
to five a's. But this was the closing section of
-
the Sermon on the Mound, and it presented two choices.
-
After he preached this word, he presented two choices to them,
-
and the two choices were the gates. He presented two
-
choices to the listeners, and only two choices, only two
-
that the listeners can make. They can only make two choices.
-
And these section of these verses also tells us few
-
will find that straight gate, that straight gate is Jesus Christ.
-
Few will fine, not that he's lost, but few will fine.
-
And the way is also Jesus. Also they few will
-
find the gate, and few will find the way He
-
is the way He is the gate, aymen. And even
-
as he speaks in verses twenty one to twenty three,
-
not everyone professing Christ Jesus is genuinely saved. Everybody saying
-
they know Jesus ain't generally saved. I'm saved, sanct the fact,
-
and filled with some kind of spirit, with a mighty burning,
-
strange fire. They ain't truly saved. Everybody wants to make
-
people save. Oh man, Oh yeah, he a Christian, y'all. Y'all.
-
Hear people say that about folks all the time. It's
-
a red flag. To me, it's a red flag. He's
-
a Christian. Who are you talking about? Yeah, yeah, oh boy,
-
I told you to go, sue. He gonna take care
-
of you. He a Christian. You get over there and
-
he rip you off. Everybody professing Jesus Christ is not
-
generally saved. Even the outward verbal acknowledgement of his leadership
-
is in itself not enough to save the unbeliever. It's
-
not enough it's not enough that you have a verbal acknowledgement.
-
It's not enough apart from true repentance. That's why it's
-
not enough. Folks. They folks talking about they saved safety
-
five and all that, those stuff, and it ain't even
-
repent it. So your verbal words is not enough because
-
action has to be presented with that, and that is
-
to repent. Without repentance, your verbal acknowledgement is not enough.
-
You must repent you and it must be true repentance
-
because without true repentance, there is no deliverance. I'm sorry,
-
you caught me. That's not repentance. True repentance produces true
-
deliverance and true salvation. Amen. So true repentance and faith
-
is what we need because a genuinely save person is
-
one that do it the will of the Father constantly constantly.
-
That word should linger over you constantly. See people are
-
not consistent, constantly, consistently doing the will of God. Amen,
-
it's tough. See the Greek present tense suggests that one
-
is continually living in obedience. This is the Greek print.
-
This is what the Greek presents. This is the Greek
-
present tense of what they suggest, what it suggests in
-
the Greek that one is continually living in obedience to
-
the will of God as a normal Somebody say normal,
-
a normal course of life. It's normal for you to
-
be consistently living continually by the word of God. That's
-
a same person as normal for them. It's not normal
-
for a person that believes they straveling defense. I said,
-
they believe it. There is no stratling the fence. I
-
don't know who made that up, but that's what it
-
was made up. You can't straddle defense. Either you on
-
one side or the other. See, that's the reason why
-
they say, y'all heard people say all the time, he
-
thought the grass was greener on the other side of
-
the fence. Guess what, it's the same grass. It's the
-
grass on this side that grew through the fence. That's
-
why it ain't greener. It's the same grass. Can't stravel
-
the fence. You either on the devil's side are you
-
on God side. There ain't no in between. There is
-
no maybe gate. There is no maybe gate. There are
-
only two roads to eternity, and we are on one
-
or the other. According to what the Lord says, only
-
few will make it to heaven. But the very majority
-
will be lost in eternal punishment. This is both frightening
-
and sad, and it's more frightening. I don't know. I
-
believe they equal. I believe it's just as much frightening
-
as it is sad. I don't consider myself to be
-
a selfish individual. I don't, so I said that because
-
I want to be on the happy side. And I'm
-
gonna be on the happy side. Amen, somebody, I certainly
-
want to be among the few who I said. I'm
-
gonna say, like Paul said, I'm fully persuaded. I want
-
to be I want to be on the side of
-
the few who are said don't you? Don't you? And
-
I see here a few? Amen? The other people must
-
be sleep. You see what you don't understand? Your response
-
is very welcoming to God. He's the host here. So
-
if I say don't you and you don't answer, the
-
host don't hear you. Don't you see? God is the
-
host here. And if you don't want to participate in
-
God's house, that's the problem. Some people are so stubborn
-
they don't even want to clap their hands in God's house,
-
give the Lord some praise in this house. Ain't Okay,
-
how love God is the host. You must keep that
-
in mind. And if God wants to ask, don't you
-
don't you you should answer. We make the choice ourselves,
-
don't we? Sure we do as to where we would
-
spend eternity. See, people be talking about God gonna send
-
you to hell. No he ain't, he is not. They've
-
been saying that so long. People believe it, so that's
-
why they say it. But it's not true. We make
-
the choice ourselves is where we will spend eternity. We
-
are free more agents. God has given us choice to make.
-
Nobody can choose for you whether you're gonna go to
-
heaven or hell. Nobody but you, not even God chooses
-
it for you, because he said I sat before you
-
life and death. You choose. Sound like to me he
-
told you to do it. I don't know what it
-
sounded like to you, but when I heard the word you,
-
I can truly believe you're talking about us to make
-
our own decisions. Yeah, so don't nobody send you to
-
hell but you? Because we free more agents. And this
-
is how we different from animals. While they love it
-
and kissing on animals and all other stuff they do
-
with animals. We've been made in the image of God.
-
Animals ain't made an image of God. That's just one
-
factor coming to you, y'all. I'm coming to y'all. Dog
-
loves Okay, to love the dog. God made the dog.
-
He should love. You should love what God has created.
-
But don't go behind all that because a lot of
-
people believe the dog is more valuable than a human,
-
and they believe that the dog is worse more than
-
a human. That's why when the taunt them hurricanes came,
-
they went in there and saved animals, and people were
-
still needing to be saved. One factor, we were created
-
in God's image. Genisis one in twenty six tells us
-
that then God said, let us make man in our image.
-
And also in Genesis two and seven we read and
-
the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground.
-
It wasn't dirt, it was dust. It was dust. Because
-
he's letting you know just how magnificent he is. He
-
took dust. Dust, not some physical like dirt, but dust, y'all,
-
don't hear what I'm saying. He made us out of
-
the dirt, no dust. That lets you know how powerful
-
he is. He took dust and made us of the
-
ground and breathe into the nostril of the breath of life.
-
Man became a living Here's the other second different soul.
-
He made us in the image of himself, and we
-
became an and when he breathing to us, we became
-
a living soul. Animals don't have a soul. Second factor, Yes,
-
we possess a soul that will live forever in one
-
or two places. See when people talk about eternity, they
-
preached about you're gonna live in eternity. Oh yeah, glad
-
with the Lord. No, it's two eternities. Hold your celebration,
-
and make sure that eternity ain't hell about the gate
-
that you choose. How you with me, make sure that
-
that gate is not held that gate that you choose. Hey, man,
-
you possess the choice of which gate you're gonna enter end.
-
Can't nobody push you in that gate? Because if you're
-
standing over there in the first place, if you standing
-
over the battle wrong gate and you get pushed in,
-
you shouldn't have been on that side in the first place.
-
But nobody can push you in. You're gonna walk in.
-
You're gonna walk in on your own you're gonna stroll
-
right on in there like you was doing the sin
-
right and on in that gate. Oh yeah. The thing
-
about it is when you get close enough to it,
-
you're gonna be kicking and screaming. I've seen this. There
-
was a man in the hospital dying and he was afraid.
-
He died afraid he saw those demons coming. No, no, no,
-
I don't want to go there. No, it's too late.
-
It was too late. This is really I've seen so
-
many things in life and tell you to trip you out.
-
That's how I know this word is real. God has
-
given me example, at the example, at the example. I
-
am definitely, I tell myself all the time. I am definitely,
-
without excuse. I am definitely without excuse, I am. I
-
know it's real. God's proven it to me that it's real.
-
So yes, you possess a soul that will live forever
-
in one of two places, only one. And here's the
-
thing about it. When the gate closed, it's there's no key,
-
there's no crowbar, there's no torch, there's no battle around.
-
There's no truck, there's no eighteen wheeler, there's no tank,
-
there's no bomb, there's no missile that can blow that
-
door off them hinges. It's closed. It's a powerful gait
-
and there's nothing in this world that can remove or
-
open up that gate. Not even God is gonna open
-
it back up. That's powerful him. It's sad and frightening too,
-
ain't it. But it's real. Here's a good part that
-
reference on up. God does not want anyone to be lost,
-
but the choice is still ours. Tewod Peter three and nine.
-
We read this the Lord is not slack concerning his
-
promises as some count slackness, as some count it, but
-
is long suffering towards us. Why because he's not willing
-
that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
-
God doesn't want any of us to perish. He wants
-
all of us to come to repentance. But look how
-
wonderful in loving he is. He's so wonderful in loving
-
he knows. He still continues doing what he do because
-
he God. But God knows many gonna be lost. It's
-
sad to him. You know why it's so sad to him,
-
because it's a soul. It's sad. See, God is not
-
slack concerning us. So what we must understand in God
-
is not slack concerning his purpose. Is all about his patience.
-
See it, ain't you be looking at and God? That
-
didn't all? He ain't slacking son in them situations and circumstances.
-
It's his patience. See, we think he's slacked concerning things,
-
but he ain't. It's his patience. His patience is awesome.
-
You know how I know his patience is awesome. Of
-
course God waited for us to get right instead of
-
letting us die and sind. His patience is immaculate. We
-
give up on folks. Look at that folk that smoking
-
that crack. Look at that folk. God said, I'm waiting
-
on him. He gonna be delivered. You just can't see it.
-
I can see it his patience. He's not slacked his patience.
-
Why is his patience so powerful? Because he does not
-
want to see you perish. He don't give up on
-
you right away like that and let you go straight
-
to hell. I've seen God saved folks who want who
-
were saved but backslid and then got saved, and God
-
allowed him to come be with him. I looked at
-
that thing, and I said, God trying to keep you
-
from going backwards again. So he took her on home
-
because he saw what you couldn't see. Ain'ty wonderful, He
-
ain't slack, He's just patient. He gives us time to repent,
-
even though he knows who will and who won't. About say,
-
he stands at the door and he knocks this all day.
-
When you open the door stops. You ain't open it.
-
Yet he keep doing that till you go to your
-
grave and go to hell. When you go to grave
-
and go to hell, he stops, and the more knocking
-
because you don't open the door. You open the door?
-
What door? Did you open? The door? The gate, the hell,
-
the eternity. Once you open the door, he stopped knocking
-
either door, he stops knocking. Eternal life with Christ Jesus.
-
You done open, You done went through that gate. Stop knocking,
-
Hell and damnation. He keeps knocking. You went through that gate,
-
he stops knocking. He stops knocking when the gate opens,
-
He stops knocking when you go through the gate, niggas.
-
Since then, he's patient. He gives us time to repent,
-
even though he knows who will and who won't. See
-
this helped me to do this, not to judge people.
-
I say, you're going to hell. Man. But when I
-
came to understand the patience of God and that God
-
sees a lot further than us, I say it different. Now.
-
I say, you're going to hell if you don't change
-
your ways. See you say going to hell because all
-
I see is hell, But I don't see what's on
-
the other side. It could be another. It could be
-
a good side on the other side for you. So
-
I have to say, listen, you're going to hell if
-
you don't change your ways. I ain't told you you
-
was going to hell. I said, if you don't change
-
your ways. That's the Bible, God saying that. Now me
-
just repeating it. So we can't understand. God knows who
-
will and who won't, but we don't. So we can't
-
give up on folks. You can't give up on your children.
-
You can't give up on your children. You got to
-
give up on you trying to do your See, there's
-
something you gotta give up, But it ain't on your children.
-
It's on you. What do you mean, prettychu, I mean
-
you got to take your hands off of them and
-
give them to God and keep your hands off of them.
-
When you put your hands back on them, it's you
-
doing you again. Take your hands off of them. God
-
is not gonna let you help him. You won't be
-
able to walk around and say, when they come through
-
and be delivered, look what I did. I help God out. No,
-
he's too wise for that. Keep your hands on them.
-
He'll take his off. Take yours off here, put his
-
on them. He don't need your help. He don't need it.
-
He's off sufficient, he's out no England. All you can
-
do is pray, unless you put your God's hands on them.
-
If you pray and wear it, ye better. Just keep
-
wearing it. You gotta pray, leave it to God. We
-
all got to learn to do it. But when we
-
learn to do it, we gotta keep doing it. Sometimes,
-
when you take your hands off, it looks like it's
-
getting worse. That's the enemy trying to fool you. It's
-
gonna look like it's getting worse. It's really gonna look
-
like it's getting worse. But the enemy is only doing that,
-
and your flesh is only doing that so that you
-
will put your hands back on them. You gotta leave
-
your hands off. It's not gonna be well with you.
-
It's not gonna feel good. It's gonna hurt. I'm gonna
-
tell you the truth. But even if they die, as
-
long as they get delivered, that means they lived. Are
-
you getting me? See, that's the reason why once you
-
get saved, you're healed. Y'all get that. Well, he was
-
healed and he was saved, that he died of cancer. No,
-
he still lives. He ain't got no cancer no more.
-
He is delivered. See, you gonna get delivered either way.
-
You ain't gonna get delivered right him with cancer? Are
-
you gonna get delivered over? There cansel Either way, you're
-
gonna get delivered because God promised that you're gonna get delivered. Yeah,
-
we want to get delivered on this side. Yeah. But
-
if you don't get delivered on this side and you
-
go that way, you're still gonna have it. Because what's
-
on this side torment torture? What's cancer? Torment torture? Trying
-
to help you? See, we must understand that He gives
-
us time to repent, even though He knows who will
-
and who want. God knows who. You can't fool God,
-
because to tell the truth, God really is not delayed
-
in nothing that he dos. He's not delayed in the
-
destructions of this world. God ain't delayed in the destruction
-
of this world. He's not. It's just the love he
-
has for us, That's what it is. It's all but
-
soon that he will at some point in time even
-
though the love. You ever heard somebody say, because I
-
love you, I'm gonna let you go. That don't mean
-
I don't love you. I love you, but I love
-
you enough to let you go. That's God. So when
-
we understand he's really not delaying in the destruction of
-
this world, it's just the love he has for us.
-
All but soon that to will have to cause him
-
to keep his word and end it all. See, he
-
still got to end it all. But it's the love
-
and the patience of God, not the fact that he's
-
delay anything. But because of the patience of God and
-
the love of God, that it's not his will that
-
anyone should perish. Amen. So we come to understand the
-
Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness.
-
But it's long suffering, patient towards us, not willing that
-
any should perish, but it all should come to repentance.
-
Tewod Peter Chapter three and verse nine. God does not
-
want us to go into eternal punishment. We go because
-
we choose to go. He is not going to force
-
us to serve him though. Otherwise we would just be
-
pure robots programmed by God to do God's will. See,
-
the programming gotta come from us. We got to program
-
our own selves. How do we program myself? These are
-
the instructions for programming yourself right here. If you want
-
to program your computer, you read the instruction. If you
-
want to program you you read these instructions. But at
-
the end of the day, you still doing the program
-
the computer don't can program itself. You do ay man, Man,
-
He's not going to force you to serve him, otherwise
-
we would be robots. One Timothy to Enforced says concerning God,
-
who desires all men to be saved. It is God's
-
desire that we all be saved. The Bible says many
-
a call. You know why, because everyone has been called
-
into the South into salvation. Everyone has been called. Everybody
-
walking this earth, and if anybody is on the moon
-
have been called to the plan of salvation. But only
-
few are chosen. But it is God's desire for all
-
men to be saved and to come into the knowledge
-
of the truth. It is God's will that all be saved,
-
but we know that it's not going to happen. That's
-
the sad part about it, and the scary part. We
-
know everybody ain't gonna be saved. It's just the truth. Okay,
-
you might well just come out of your sadness because
-
this is truth and we've already it's seen that only
-
a few are going to be saved and the majority
-
are going to be lost. But the question is what
-
about you? Will you be saved? What is your eternal destiny?
-
My eternal destiny, by choice is heaven. I can only
-
speak for me. My hope. My prayer is that my
-
family enters ind to Heaven. My hope and my prayer
-
is that all of the people of God that's following
-
Jesus Christ will come into the Kingdom of God. That's
-
my prayer. But my destiny is to make it into
-
the kingdom. Because if you miss Heaven, you will be
-
thrown into the eternal hell and fire. Miss heaven, you
-
will be thrown into the eternal fires of hell. If
-
you miss heaven. It says if you miss heaven, if
-
you don't, you didn't miss it. Because one of the
-
saddest things about going to hell is the fact that
-
it could have been avoided. That's the saddest thing about it.
-
It could have been avoided. You know, there's a lot
-
of things that we see in life. It's sad to us.
-
We knew it could have been avoided because we told them,
-
don't do it. We told them don't do it. We
-
knew what was gonna happen, and they did it anyway,
-
and it was sad that the result that they gat
-
was not good. See, that's the same thing with God.
-
He's given you instructions. It's sad you could have avoided
-
it because He told you the truth. He told you
-
the truth, not the prophet, not the bishop, not the
-
pastor God telling you the truth right here in this word,
-
somebody preaching to you your studies at home, your studies
-
in the house of God. Not the preacher, but the
-
Word of God tells you the truth, the truth that
-
only the truth come by the Holy Spirit of God.
-
And the sad thing about people going to hell, they
-
could have avoided it. The majority of people will be
-
lost that scripture. In spite of what the Lord has done.
-
They gonna be You know what the Lord has done
-
to keep them from me and lost. He went to
-
the cross, He got mocked, he got beaten, he got
-
spit on his clothes, was gambled, he was slammed in
-
a hole on the cross, knailed to that cross. In
-
spite of all that he did, folks still want to
-
be lost. In spite of all the love he has
-
for the entire world, they still want to hate him.
-
But that's about choice. That's true. Hey man. Even if
-
you've been raised as an atheist, you still gonna have
-
a choice, because guess what's gonna happen. If you've been
-
raised by an atheists and you move on, this gonna happen.
-
This right here is gonna keep happening. This is gonna
-
keep happening. If you were raised by the atheists, this
-
gonna keep on, man, happening. If you was raised by
-
white supremacists a clue clock trying, this gonna always happen.
-
If you were raised by the Muslims, this gonna always happen.
-
And came none of them open that door, but you
-
and let him in. But it's gonna keep happening because
-
he's a righteous god. He's a patient guard, and he
-
gonna make sure you had a choice. You gonna hear
-
that word. It's gonna be delivered to you. But it's
-
gonna be up to you. It's gonna you were raised
-
on a desert island with a bunch of monkeys. That's
-
still gonna happen. It's still gonna happen. It gotta happen.
-
It ain't what'sn't matter, It's gotta happen. Many a call,
-
so you are chosen. This is the call. He gotta
-
call you. He said he had to. He's not a
-
man that he should lie out, the son of man.
-
He should repent. It's gonna happen. But your choice is
-
when you make it. But the sad majority of the people,
-
in spite of what the Lord has done, gonna be lost.
-
A person who goes to hell is his own worst enemy.
-
You your own enemy. In spite of Preacher's talking about
-
he in a better place is and in the casket
-
in front of him, he in a batter play. Yeah
-
he got killed in the drive back way of smoking crack.
-
But he in a better place. Yeah, he in the
-
better place. He was robbing the bank and got shot
-
in the head and died. While he was robbing the
-
bank in a better place. You're a liar. He's not
-
in a better place. He in a bad place, a
-
place he ain't gonna never come back from. He in hell.
-
So you are your own worst enemy when you go
-
to Hell. It wasn't because of Jimmy or John, or
-
Betty or Sue. It's because of you. Hell is not
-
what God does to us, but hell is what we
-
do to ourselves. See I know, Helen, what God does
-
to us because I heard my Savior say, I go
-
and prepared place for you. It wasn't in hell, he said,
-
with my father in Heaven. That's how he made it plain, decon.
-
He made it plain where the place is. He made
-
it plain where the place is? He said, I go
-
and prepare place for you. Who is you God's people
-
that continually constantly serve the law a place. It's a
-
prepared place. See what he said, I go and prepare
-
He has to prepare the place. Why Because it's for
-
a prepared people. What people, people who have prepared themselves
-
to make it to the kingdom. That's why it's a
-
prepared place. Because it's for a prepared people. Hey, man,
-
Hell is not for you. When you go to Hell,
-
you break in. He said he made hell for the
-
devil in his fallen age. Ain't that what he's saying
-
is that scripture is your name, devil, a fallen angel.
-
What you're doing breaking in the hell? Then you gotta
-
break in the hell. You ain't got no key. The
-
devil and the fallen angels got a key. But the
-
only works one way. Let them in. They can't let
-
him out. You go up in there. You done broke in.
-
You ain't got no key. You done broke in, don't
-
they He make it sound even worse for you done
-
broke into hell. Hell's what we do to ourself. Hell
-
is not what God do. That's to us. If one
-
person of many people end up in hell, the only
-
person you can blame is the man in the mirror.
-
And it ain't gonna be nobody standing behind Jesus. The
-
only figure you're gonna see in that mirror is you.
-
So as the verse says, before we can be saved,
-
we must come to the knowledge of the truth. See,
-
you just can't be saved. You can be saved, but
-
you got to come into the knowledge of the truth.
-
Jesus said in John eight and thirty two. And ye
-
shall know. He'll say you shall. Maybe he didn't say
-
that you shall. Might. He didn't say that it may.
-
He said that you should know the truth. And then
-
when you know that truth, he said, the truth shall
-
make you free. He said, you shall know the truth.
-
And once you know the truth, he said, once you
-
know the truth, and say, if you don't know the truth,
-
you still like free, you em bondage. But he said,
-
wants you see, Jesus said, want you to know. That
-
is Jesus I told you in the beginning of a sermon.
-
He's all knowing. So if he said you shall know
-
the truth, and when you do know it that the
-
truth gon gonna make you free. It's gonna make you
-
free once you know it. That's what Jesus said. What
-
is the truth? What is that truth that would make
-
you free? Saint John seventeen to seventeen, Jesus says, sanctify
-
them by your truth. Your word is truth, that's the truth.
-
That's what the truth is His word. So the word
-
of God is the truth that would make us free,
-
so that we can go to Heaven. The truth is
-
what where to God? You should know the truth? What
-
is the truth that you should know? Word of God.
-
What's the word of God gonna do make you free?
-
It ain't gonna set you free. It's gonna make you free.
-
It don't set you free. It don't set you free
-
to do whatever you want to do. It makes you
-
free to do what God say do. Amen? Give God
-
a handclapping his house. So the question to everyone that's listening,
-
and everyone here in the house, what is your eternal destination?
-
Only you and God? No? Amen, Amen, Praise the Lord, hallylujah.
-
These places are definite, Amen, These places are with you.
-
Call no turning back. This is why we have the
-
Holy Spirit, because when we get beside ourselves, we need
-
somebody to help us to turn us back into the
-
right direction. Amen. And when we're listening to his spirit,
-
he tells us when we're in the wrong place. He
-
tells us when we're around the wrong people. He tells
-
us when we're listening to the wrong things. He does.
-
When you let him operate, I said, when you let
-
him operate, I said, when you let him operate, he
-
tell you these things he puts He puts it in
-
your spirit, and you get a feeling, get a dessernment. Amen. Amen,
-
let us stand
