  1. Yeah, they do it. Hoigly loujah, Thank you Jesus, hoighlylujah.

  2. We get praised under God this morning, Amen, in our

  3. precious name of Jesus Christ, who is our Lord and

  4. our savior. Not just I save you, but yet our

  5. Lord as well. Amen. I greet you this morning the

  6. precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen, thanking and praising God

  7. for each and every one of you who are here today. Amen,

  8. we thank God for another day. We say that, we

  9. say those things like you know, and and I've always

  10. uh emphasized that we say we thank the Lord for

  11. yet another day. But do we really I mean, it's

  12. it's the thing to say, But what are we really

  13. feeling about the very thing that we're saying? Are we

  14. really grateful that God woke us up this morning? You

  15. know some people, some people are not grateful are thankful

  16. that God woke them up. But I truly am thankful

  17. that God woke me up this morning and then allow

  18. me to go on into a deeper sleep, Amen, to

  19. see another beautiful day that God has made given opportunity

  20. for me to tell somebody else about the Lord Jesus Christ,

  21. to minister his word to his people. Amen. God is

  22. truly merciful and graceful. He truly is merciful, and he

  23. truly has grace that he applies to us. Amen. We

  24. thank God, Amen, and allowing him to be the head

  25. of our lives. We have to allow God to do that.

  26. God's not going to just take over and do that. Amen.

  27. We have to allow him to do that. And we

  28. cannot compromise. And as I spoke earlier this morning, how

  29. we have to completely do the will of our Father completely.

  30. We can't compromise because of people's feelings being hurt. We

  31. must tell them the truth. We can't get into our

  32. emotional state. We must tell people the truth because they

  33. gonna learn the truth. But if God give it to

  34. you to do it, you don't do it, You're gonna

  35. have a penalty. Amen. You don't want a penalty from God.

  36. You might want one from me. Man, I promise you

  37. don't want one from God. Amen. Amen. Let us let

  38. us pray. Father. We thank your Lord, We think and

  39. praise you and give you glory, for you are the

  40. reason that we're even here today. And we thank you

  41. for allowing us in such a holy God's presence. Your

  42. presence is so holy. God, Help us, dear Lord, to

  43. be holy as you are. Holy Father. God, we know

  44. you didn't call us to be good, but you called

  45. us to be holy. Help us to be holy. Help

  46. us to know the difference. God, that being good is

  47. not being holy. Help us Father, because we do not

  48. want to be deceived. Lord, Let the light so shine God,

  49. that we can see our way in all Always in

  50. the name of Jesus Christ. Rebuke the enemy that he

  51. don't vamboozle hood winker our smartest because of the Lord

  52. Jesus Christ that lives in us. God. We thank you, Lord,

  53. that you continue annoint us afresh each and every day.

  54. Thank you for this day. And Lord, if we said

  55. anything God outside of your character, we spoke anything, if

  56. we read anything, we looked at anything, if we thought

  57. anything God that was not pleasant to thee. God. For

  58. our eyes need to see what you see. Our minds

  59. need to imagine what you and think what you think. God.

  60. Forgive us God, search us. Lord. We just want to

  61. be right God. We want to be covered God. We

  62. want to cover everything God, because we know scashly shall

  63. the righteous make it in? We want to be right God,

  64. that we make it in God, in the name of Jesus,

  65. we want to live this life according to your will,

  66. giving you the glory, showing your glorious work in us

  67. to the world that the world may want to be

  68. just like the Jesus that's inside of us. In the

  69. name of Jesus Christ, this is our prayer of God.

  70. Now as your word go forth, God, your anainted word

  71. goes forth by your anointed man of God, your anointed servant.

  72. Let it go into these anointed vessels in this house

  73. in the name of Jesus Christ. Let it grow us.

  74. Let it turn on the light where there's darkness that

  75. we may have thought was right but really was wrong.

  76. Or let the light so shine God that we'll even

  77. see that thing that's trying to hide. In the name

  78. of Jesus God, do it for us. God, We'll be

  79. mindful always to give you the glory in the praise

  80. and the honor. And this Jesus name God, in Jesus name.

  81. In Jesus' name, there is no name above his name.

  82. There is no name that can do what his name

  83. can do. There is no name God but the name

  84. of Jesus. Jesus, Jesus, we call it on your name

  85. even now, Lord, in the name of Jesus Jesus. Yes, Lord,

  86. every year that here is today God, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

  87. Here's the name. Know the name, have strength in the name.

  88. Know that the name gives strength in the name. Either

  89. demons tremble at the name, the powerful name of Jesus.

  90. They don't tremble it our name. They tremble it his name.

  91. And God, we thank you. You give us every weapon

  92. we need to fight the spiritual war. Help us, Holy

  93. Spirit to use it rightly in Jesus Holy name. In

  94. the church said thank God. Amen and amen, Thank you Jesus, hallylujah.

  95. Amen, Thank you Jesus. We're gonna talk abo about Paul today.

  96. Man, And if you would turn with me to the

  97. Book of Acts, chapter twenty and verse twenty four, Chapter

  98. twenty and verse twenty four. When you get there, saymen. Amen.

  99. When you get the saymen, I her page is turning.

  100. Somebody that's still not there yet. Amen. Amen. I'm not

  101. talking to everybody. Amen. Amen. Amen, Thank you. Jeeves. Sometimes

  102. I can't hear. You have to be a little loud

  103. for me. Somebody told me that's read why I talk loud,

  104. Because I can't hear that? Good Amen anyway, Acts Chapter twenty,

  105. verse twenty four, the Bible says, but none of these

  106. things move me. It's Paul talking. What things is Paul

  107. talking about. Paul's proclaiming putting himself entirely in the hands

  108. of the Lord. That's the only thing that moving. None

  109. of these things move me. He said, neither count out

  110. my life, dear unto me. Neither count of my life

  111. dear unto me. See, his life belongs to the Lord,

  112. and the Lord could do with him as he desired.

  113. This was Paul saying. When he say use me, Lord,

  114. he meant that. He meant that. We all say a

  115. lot of things, like I said earlier, But is there

  116. any depth in it? Do it really meaning? Paul is

  117. telling him? Paul is talking, and he's saying, here, neither

  118. count my life, dear unto myself, because my life belonged

  119. to the Lord. That's what he's saying. And in all

  120. of my desires or whatever his desires is for my life.

  121. And he goes on to say, so that I might

  122. finish my course with joy. That's why if God is

  123. in control and he's taking control of your life, he

  124. said this, I want you to do, because all of

  125. them your desires. I want him to be my desire,

  126. so that I might finish my course with joy and

  127. the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus,

  128. to testify the gospel of the grace of God. So

  129. he proclaims the basics of what this course is. Amen.

  130. The message of Paul is Jesus Christ and him crucified.

  131. That's his message. Amen. Now we're gonna look at this

  132. Paul's statement of his priority. This is paul statements of

  133. his priorities. This is his priorities, this is his values.

  134. It is a great perspective for any believer of any age.

  135. Self preservation must be servered to the faithful completion of

  136. the work assigned by the Lord Jesus to each and

  137. every believer. Amen. Paul was a single minded person, and

  138. the most important goal of Paul's life was telling others

  139. the good news. Amen. Amen, let us turn to Philippians

  140. chapter three, and you may be seated in the House

  141. of the Lord. In Philippians chapter three and verses thirteen

  142. and fourteen through fourteen, Paul here is saying. In chapter

  143. three of Philippians, he says, Brethren, I count not myself

  144. to have apprehended. He repeats this. This is a repetition,

  145. repeating this of what he said back in the latter verses.

  146. He's repeating it again. He says, brother, other than I

  147. count not myself to have apprehended. What is he talking about?

  148. But this one thing I do forgetting these those things

  149. which are behind Paul is talking about the past, Amen,

  150. talking about things people depended on, all the apostles that

  151. depended on to have favor with God, and the failure

  152. of the type of the efforts brought because of those

  153. things that they depended upon. Amen. He says, I reached

  154. forth unto those things which are before. So now his

  155. attention is not on the past. His attention must be

  156. on which is ahead, not the past, and not on

  157. what is passed. So these things consist of all victories

  158. of the cross. Amen. And he goes on to say,

  159. I press towards the mark. I press towards the mark.

  160. So he has a spiritual mark that he's pressing towards

  161. and forgetting those things that are behind him the past. Why,

  162. because he's pressing forward, he's not going back. He's not

  163. gonna let nobody take him back. He's not gonna consider

  164. you talking about his past. He's gonna coach. He's going

  165. towards the future of what God gets for him, because

  166. he's pressing forward towards the mark. What mark for the

  167. prize of the high calling of Jesus. That's the Christ's

  168. likeness in Jesus Christ is what he's pressing forward towards.

  169. Because he says, in Christ Jesus. And so he's telling

  170. you in what manner and the means in which all

  171. these this is done, which is in Christ Jesus the Cross.

  172. Hey man, let's look what Paul says to us by

  173. the leading of the Lord. In First Corinthians Chapter one.

  174. Paul was a powerful apostle and a follower of Jesus Christ.

  175. And he meant what he said, and he did what

  176. he meant. He did not compromise. He continued to go

  177. forward and go straight amen. He continued to go forward

  178. and go straight amen. First Corinthians, Chapter one and verse seventeen,

  179. Paul says, for Christ sent me not to baptize, but

  180. to preach the gospel. He's talking about the reason why

  181. God sent me with the priest the gospel. This is

  182. the manner in which He sent me because He sent

  183. me in this manner to be to save people from sin,

  184. not with wisdom of words, not with his intelligence, not

  185. with his own intellect. Least the Cross of Christ should

  186. be made of none effect. So he's saying, in knowing

  187. certain terms, I have to preach the Cross of Christ.

  188. It must always be emphasized, always emphasized in my message.

  189. This is what God saved me for, and I'm compelled

  190. to do it a man. So here, Paul, brother, and

  191. I count not myself to be apprehended, but this one

  192. thing I do for getting those things which are behind,

  193. reaching forth unto those things which are before. So here,

  194. Paul did not consider that he had achieved spiritual maturity.

  195. He did not achieve it. He was not all he

  196. knew he should be. Some of us think we all

  197. this and that, But we ain't all this and that

  198. in the Lord. Yet, hey man, and Paul recognizes, this

  199. is what we gotta do. We gotta recognize our maturity.

  200. We can't be comparing ourselves to other folks. We have

  201. to compare ourselves to our own spiritual growth. Amen, and

  202. understand that we have not yet achieved that which is

  203. to be achieved. Yet this is what Paul is saying.

  204. He said, brother, and I count not myself to have apprehended.

  205. I ain't got there yet. But although he's saying, he's

  206. not saying that to make an excuse for maybe some

  207. failures that he may have in life. That's not what

  208. he's saying. He's not trying to comfort people. Oh okay,

  209. I see what he's saying. Yeah, see see he ain't perfect.

  210. Uh uh. He's not saying this before you can use

  211. for an excuse. But he was just saying it because

  212. he was not all he knew he should be, but

  213. he lived in absolute confidence of his ultimate our vation.

  214. Like we must have perfection as our goal. Perfection should

  215. be our goal. Why because God said, be ye perfect

  216. So perfection should be our goal. Why because God didn't

  217. asked us to do it as a commandment. Let's look

  218. at Matthews. I'm gonna move pretty swift here. Swift is

  219. he allowed me to move Matthews, Chapter five and versus four,

  220. Starting at verse four. Matthew Cha five. First four He said,

  221. Blessed are they who he said, Blessed are they whom

  222. on for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek,

  223. for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed they would do

  224. hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be felled.

  225. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed

  226. are the pure and heart. This is where he was

  227. trying to get to Paul in these scriptures. He's fourth verses,

  228. Blessed all the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Amen.

  229. This is his goal in right standings. So he's saying,

  230. we must have the perfection. That perfection be our goal,

  231. and not to pretend that sin does not exist, because

  232. it exists. We're not to pretend that sin does not exist.

  233. As we read in First John, chapter one and verse eight.

  234. First John, chapter one and verse eight, and the Bible

  235. reads again a new commandment. I write unto you which

  236. thing is true in him, him being Christ, and in you,

  237. if we are in him, because the darkness is past,

  238. because we in Him, and the true light now shine.

  239. The true light is Christ, which light will shine forever

  240. and pertains to the time since Christ has come. Verse

  241. eight of First John. First John. I'm sorry, y'all, my

  242. ayes jumping around again. But nevertheless, I'm coming to I

  243. should be coming to that too. God I had to

  244. read that too, I wouldn't come into it. But it's applicable.

  245. It's applicable here in the attitude and character that Paul

  246. is pertaining to. But what I wanted to read and

  247. what I was sinned to read is different. Verse eight

  248. of chapter one of First John. It says, if we

  249. say that we have no sin, because this is what

  250. we were alluding to, the fact that we cannot pretend

  251. that sin don't exist. And it says, if we say

  252. that we have no sin, and this is referring to

  253. the sin nature, okay, because you must understand this that

  254. Jesus Christ did not come for sin. He came for

  255. the sin nature, hey man, because we had a sin nature,

  256. and so he came to change the nature of us

  257. to a holy and a righteous nature. See, we were

  258. bored in sin shaped and iniquity. So we had a

  259. sin nature and our nature was the sin. But when

  260. Jesus manifested, walked, died, buried, resurrected, counseled it out allowed

  261. us to recognize and be saved from sin and have

  262. power over sin. Now our nature must change when we

  263. received Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. So if

  264. we say that we have no sining, we deceive ourselves.

  265. You're lying to your own self. Self deception, I've told

  266. you on many occasions, is the worst deception you could

  267. have one. Thank my daughter for point me in the

  268. right direction. Let me say that, but self deception is

  269. the worst deception. Anybody can help. I could be trying

  270. to deceive you and somebody can come. You know he

  271. lying to you, don't you? But when you lie to yourself,

  272. it's hard for anybody to tell you lying to yourself,

  273. you don't believe. You just rooted and ground and anything.

  274. So if we say that we have no sin, we

  275. deceive ourself, it is say you deceive everybody else. It's

  276. saying you deceive your own self, and the truth is

  277. not in us. So your nature will still be sinful.

  278. If you deceive yourself and say that you have no sin,

  279. not that you continually have a sinful nature. Heymen, don't

  280. get in twist because people run with discript and say

  281. we send a save bad grades. We still sinners. No,

  282. we ain't had you gonna be a sinner and a

  283. saint don't mix. Don't matter how you gonna be a

  284. new creature in Christ. If you're still a sinner as

  285. a sinner, that's the old man. Are y'all with me?

  286. People run around try to convince you that. I see

  287. people on TV say that, people ministering the word of

  288. God telling them we still sinners. But yet God, No,

  289. he ain't. You might be, but I'm not right, No,

  290. we're not. We're a new creature in Christ. If you're

  291. a new creature in Christ, Dick, you ain't no sinner.

  292. Saint sinner? Don't you think those two have two different definitions?

  293. Saint sinner? Paul saying, don't deceive yourself, don't vamboozoo yourself,

  294. because sin can creep right up on you if you

  295. ain't paying attention. Amen. So Paul here is telling us,

  296. don't deceive ourselves. Don't pretend that sin does not exist.

  297. The past should not be used as a barrier to

  298. the future. Amen. Everybody likes to go back to the

  299. past when they want to comfort themselves in what you

  300. used to, You used to, you used to, you used to,

  301. you used to? And then I tell people the word

  302. used to is the very key in your sentence. The

  303. key in my sening is I don't know more. The

  304. passion I be used as a barrier to the future,

  305. as an excuse for dropping out or for avoiding proper

  306. spiritual conduct in our relationship with God. It's no excuse.

  307. There's no excuse, because God said, man's without excuse too.

  308. That's the most important thing. So you can't use your

  309. past as an excuse, Amen, because Paul says, Paul said,

  310. I ain't even looking at my past. I'm looking forward.

  311. I got my head turned this way. I can't even

  312. see that. What you talking back? You remember, brother, when

  313. you used to when I want I can't see that?

  314. Is that Backhuy? I can't see that. I don't walk backwards.

  315. I walk forward. So we can't. We have to avoid

  316. looking back and using our past for an excuse. Is

  317. why our conduct is not of God, Amen, is why

  318. we're not in the right relationship with God. Some people

  319. believe I've done so much God will never forgive me,

  320. and people actually tell people that mess him up. You're

  321. not the forgiver God is. You're not the savior God is,

  322. and God will saved whomever he pleased and whomever he

  323. pleased it once it wants to be saved, Amen, you're not.

  324. You have to save your checker. You see, Paul would

  325. forget his past, his past credentials, how great he was,

  326. a scholar in the law. He will forget his past,

  327. he said, I count those things as not and his

  328. accomplishments and sining. He forget his his his credit, his credentials.

  329. He forgets his accomplishments, he forgets his the sin that

  330. he's sinning, and run the race, reaching for the finish line,

  331. pressing towards the gold. I gotta leave that stuff behind me.

  332. I can't let this stuff weigh me down. It's called baggage.

  333. You can't run with fifty pound weights around your ankles,

  334. thirty pound weights around your wrist, and a vested weighs

  335. one fifty. In other word, Paul was saying, I count

  336. not myself to have apprehended it. Whatever gifts, grace or

  337. honor I may have received from Jesus Christ, I consider

  338. everything as incomplete till I have finished my course and

  339. got this crime. See See, the race ain't over because

  340. you done got saved. The race ain't over because you're

  341. giving God the glory. The race ain't over because you're

  342. living a righteous life before God. It ain't over. It's

  343. not complete. Revelations. Lets you know it's not complete. If

  344. Bible says in the Book of Revelations that those that

  345. endure to the end, that's the completion, shall be saved.

  346. So you ain't complete yet, you ain't totally saved yet.

  347. You're walking into playing salvation right now, trying to get

  348. the prize of the Crown of Christ Jesus ay Man.

  349. He said, I consider everything is incomplete till I have

  350. finished my course, got the crown, and have body, and

  351. have my body raised and fashioned after his glue. Ray see,

  352. because when Paul is talking about when I'm gone, resurrected

  353. and got that glory fact body, then I don't count

  354. that thing complete. That thing complete now incomplete? Now dec

  355. when I raise up in that glorious body, Oh yeah,

  356. that's it. That's it. But until the end, I stretch

  357. forth toward the mark. I continue the race, looking forward

  358. for the prize. But I yet not apprehended it yet.

  359. But I'm stretching forth and I ain't going back. He said,

  360. this one thing I know. If he don't know nothing else,

  361. he said, this one thing, I know, this one thing

  362. I know. This one thing ain't I do. This is

  363. his concern. It is the soul business. He says, of

  364. my life forgetting those things which I behind m mm hmmm,

  365. soul business that his conduct is not regulated nor influenced

  366. by others. Mm hmm. Pass. This only thing gonna influence me,

  367. This only thing gonna drive me for. Not what you say,

  368. not what you say, not what you say unless you're

  369. saying this, If you're saying this, yes, I don't want.

  370. I wanna talk about how I used to date four

  371. five women, forgetting those things which I'm behind me because

  372. see I got a wife. Now I'm going forward. You

  373. don't hear what I'm saying. I consider my calling, amen.

  374. I will not be influenced by others. I regulated by

  375. them either. Ay Man, I'm considering my calling. That's why

  376. my master, my work and my end, Oh glory, he said.

  377. I'm considering my calling. I'm not gonna be influenced by you.

  378. All my life be regulated by you. You got your

  379. own life to live, trying to live my life in

  380. your life. No, I'm not considering you, noother regulations you're

  381. trying to put upon me. What I'm considering is the

  382. call that God has called me to my Master's What

  383. I'm considering my work for him is what I'm considering,

  384. and my end to my work is what I'm considering.

  385. You don't hear what Paul is saying. If others think

  386. that they have time to be slow full, I play games,

  387. I don't mind it. I have not that time. I

  388. don't have that cantain. Pausa, I hain't got that kind

  389. of time because time is flying and eternity is at hand.

  390. She ain't got that cantaime. Eternity is at hand, Dick.

  391. Look at the world. We're in, the end of it all.

  392. Prophecy is being fulfilled for the end time Possa, I

  393. ain't got that cantaion. I'm saying the same thing, y'all.

  394. Thomas said, I ain't got that cantain more and Moi's day,

  395. I'm realizing I don't have that kind of time more

  396. and mois day, hey man, because you gotta grow every

  397. day more and Moy's day, I'm realize that I don't

  398. have that kind of time. Why because eternity is at

  399. hand and my all is at steak. My all is

  400. a steak. What's my all? My soul, it's a steak.

  401. That's why I'm reaching fourth, I'm reaching forth. This lets

  402. us know Paul's point in the race that he's running.

  403. He's running this race with every muscle, every nerve in

  404. his body, and he's putting fourth, every particle, every piece,

  405. every micro of his strength in running this race. He's

  406. putting his all in it, everything his mind, body, spirit, soul,

  407. his physical, his spiritual, everything in this race. You know

  408. why he was doing all that same reason you should

  409. be doing it, because he's running for his life. That's

  410. why you running for your life. Paul was running for

  411. his life, and you running for yours right now. You

  412. either running backwards in your life or you're running forward.

  413. You know, when you're running backward, you are definitely definitely

  414. gonna trip and fall. You definitely gonna stumble. You can

  415. stumble running forward, but you can get up and dust

  416. yourself off. See, at least you won't hit the back

  417. of your head. If you're running forward in your trip,

  418. you can you can brace yourself with your hands. But

  419. if you fall backwards, you're gonna bust your head. I

  420. used to hear him say one of the running backs

  421. in the NFL, he ran, You've never seen dirt on

  422. his back. You're running Ford, hey man, he's running trying

  423. to make a hundred because ninety nine and a half

  424. won't do. He's running trying to make a hundred because

  425. he said I stretched forth for the prize. He stretched.

  426. You see those Olympic runners when they running and when

  427. they get close to the finish line and some of

  428. them are so close together, they stretch out. They stretch

  429. all the way out like that next stretched out head.

  430. They just stretched out. Why because they trying to win.

  431. Every fight where they body, every muscle in their legs,

  432. in their arm, they stretching trying to get cross the

  433. finish line. They stretches. They're trying to get cross that

  434. finish line. I'm trying to beat you in. They're all

  435. trying to win the race because they were one person

  436. gonna get the prize. So every fight where they body

  437. they putting into the race, they swing in, they arm,

  438. they moving their legs, they're keeping their feet straight. They

  439. striving for the finish line, and when they get there

  440. and it looks so close, they stretch. The difference in

  441. that race in this race is that you all win.

  442. When you cross the finish line, there ain't one winner.

  443. And not only the fact that you run, you're not

  444. even running to win the race because you already won.

  445. You're just trying to get to the finish line and

  446. receive the prize that you already won. Hitting that awesome,

  447. that that physical race, they like the spiritual one. Only

  448. one person gonna stand on the top pole, they with

  449. the golden medal around his neck. But when all of

  450. us run the course and cross the finish line, the

  451. pedalestal is for all of us. We all win us

  452. because we've already won. Jesus is standing at the finish

  453. line holding the prize for everybody, y'all. Don't hear what

  454. he's saying. I pressed towards the mark. Paul was like

  455. a runner in a race, straining towards the finish line.

  456. Paul pressed on and on in life to reach the

  457. end of the race and receive the prize. The prize

  458. the prize of salvation in Jesus Christ. The prize is

  459. the salvation in Jesus Amen. First Corinthians, chapter nine, in

  460. verse twenty four. First Corinthians, Chapter nine and verse twenty four.

  461. Know ye not that they which run in a race

  462. run all but one receives the prize. So run that

  463. ye may obtain the prize. What's the prize. All who

  464. run for Christ, spiritually speaking, wins the crown. There is

  465. no losers. Amen, There ain't no first place, second place

  466. in third place, is all first place for those that

  467. run the race for Jesus Christ. Amen two. Timothy, I

  468. gotta give you some proof, tewod Timothy Chapter four, in

  469. verse seven, he said, I have fought a good fight.

  470. I have fought a good fight. Paul fought his fight

  471. with sin to a finish and was rested in a

  472. complete victory. He fought the sin to the victory. He said,

  473. I fought a good fight. I have finished my cause

  474. faithfully here undid this? I have kept the faith. Then

  475. you see that, Then you see that. And then he says,

  476. hence fought. There is laid up for me, laid up

  477. for me a crown of righteousness. That's the victorious crown,

  478. by the way which the Lord, the righteous judge shall

  479. give me at that day, at the day of judgmency

  480. of Christ, that day. And not to me only somebody

  481. out to say hallelujah, not to me, only, not to me.

  482. There's some more folks, there are some more folks me.

  483. We'll raise my hand. And not to me only, but

  484. unto all them also who love his appearing. This crown

  485. is for all of us who consider the appearance and

  486. the preciousness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen

  487. Paul's aim, just like I aim, is to win the prize.

  488. That's how I aim to run. You ain't just running

  489. to be running. Some folks get the running and they

  490. quit running because they get behind. But there's no losers,

  491. so you ain't behind. So that's your sad office. Start

  492. running again. Because everybody that cross the finish line wins

  493. is a winner. Hey man, all who run, all who run,

  494. Somebody say, all who run and finish the race win

  495. the race as well. All for the prize. Christ. Jesus

  496. is calling us up to heaven. The heavenly call is

  497. the summons to win the victorious prize of salvation. We've

  498. all been summons. We've been summoned. July. You summons to

  499. go to court. Y'all scared not to go, frightened not

  500. to go. Why you scaged to death because you're gonna

  501. be locked up if you don't take heed to the

  502. summons of the court of this world. Yeah, but when

  503. Jesus summons you, you you ain't fearful. You're not fearful.

  504. You're good. He don't want nothing I get with him. Later.

  505. You don't tell the judge that when you get that

  506. summons come in your mailbox. When you when you see

  507. the court name on her, you get shaky for you

  508. open up the thing. And then when you open it,

  509. they got it in bold letters on top of the

  510. reading summon us. What your eyes get bunked at your head?

  511. And what all is about? But when Jesus summons you,

  512. it ain't about nothing but something good. It's all good.

  513. But we don't get scared to life when Jesus summons us,

  514. But we get scared to death when the when the

  515. court summons us. Why can't you get scared to life? Huh,

  516. I'm scared to life. I promise you I ain't scared

  517. to death. I'm scared to life. The summons of Jesus

  518. Christ is to win the victory, the prize of salvation,

  519. h the reward which God from above calls us by

  520. Jesus Christ to receive. See, God got this reward. Come on, y'all,

  521. God got this reward for you. You know how you

  522. like to be You know you like to be noticed.

  523. Uh Huh. You know you're on your job and you

  524. want to be Uh. You want you you want them

  525. to notice you for a raise. God got the best

  526. raise in the world. You want you want to be

  527. noticed for a raise. You want to you want to

  528. be noticed for your accomplishments. Hey man. But God has

  529. a reward for your accomplishments too, not for your good works,

  530. not for you being good, but for you being holy.

  531. Hey man, he has a reward for you for that.

  532. It's called heaven. Again, I say, he already went. He

  533. ain't waiting to go. He already went. Everybody, he told

  534. you that he was going. And he said when he

  535. gets there, he gonna prepare place. So that place is prepared.

  536. If Lisa cooked me a cake, it's for me, I

  537. might shad. But she prepared it. She went, and as

  538. she went to the store, she came home, broke egg,

  539. mixed it up, baked it, icing it. All that prepared

  540. it for me for me mine. That's what Jesus said.

  541. I'm preparing the place for you. You you you you, you, you, you, you,

  542. you and you. That place it's prepared just for you.

  543. Nobody else can happen. It's for you. So the reward

  544. that God has is a prepared place in heaven for you.

  545. There's nothing better that can be prepared for you. God

  546. is setting there waiting to give it to you. You

  547. ain't waiting on God as people he say, waiting on

  548. God to bless me. Dog, you know what I'm saying, God,

  549. I don't know what taking him so long. He ain't

  550. taking him along at all. It's you. You haven't gotten

  551. in position to receive what God got for you. You want

  552. to get it, Get a position and you'll get it.

  553. We ain't wait on God. Who wants to wait on

  554. God regime? Not me? Why would we have to wait

  555. on somebody to say they're omnipresent. He's an on time God. Yes, yeah,

  556. he's an on time God because he's right there. Y'all

  557. get happy about them them slow songs. Folks be saying slow,

  558. they slow. I don't agree with them. So he's an

  559. on time. He ain't on time. He ain't got me

  560. on time. He's already present. You gotta be you an

  561. on time person, Yes you are. That's how you got

  562. to saying it, saying it all wrong. God's on time

  563. because he's ever a president, and his reward the reward

  564. which God, The reward which God from above calls us

  565. by Christ Jesus to receive, is salvation in Jesus Christ.

  566. Paul yet still keeps in view. He's still kept in view.

  567. Even though he was continuing, he kept this is what

  568. he kept in view. This is what we got to

  569. keep in view. We talk about it. We got to

  570. keep in view the crown, keep the crown in view.

  571. He kept in view, the margin that he would die

  572. for Christ and his glorious resurrection. These are the things

  573. that Paul kept in view. He kept in view, the

  574. crown and the mardam, which means he was gonna die

  575. for Christ. He kept in view. The crown he kept

  576. in view, dying for Christ, now for the devil, dying

  577. for Christ. The crown that God has for us, dying

  578. in Jesus Christ. He kept that in view. And he

  579. kept in view. The resurrection he kept in view. The

  580. crown he kept in view of dying. And he kept

  581. in view resurrecting, resurrecting, going up to be with the Lord,

  582. his glorious resurrection. Not just the resurrection, but the glorious resurrection.

  583. That's what he kept in view. Paul kept these things

  584. in view. Paul was an attic. He was a He

  585. was a fanatic. You gotta think about Paul now. He

  586. was a fanatic about whatever he did. He learned from

  587. gamniellis a gamniellarrow I have his name is pronounced. He

  588. was a scholar of the law of the Jews. Paul

  589. became a scholar. Paul was just. He was just ain't

  590. all about his stuff. He knew that law back and forward, sideways,

  591. upside down. He persecuted the Christians with everything in him.

  592. Everything he did with everything in him. He learned the

  593. law with everything in him. He persecuted Christians with everything

  594. in him. He persecuted the Church with everything in him.

  595. And then on the road to the mind he got

  596. he got shined upon so bright that the darkness had

  597. to leave, and the light prevailed. And when the light prevailed,

  598. he was an attic and doing the will of God.

  599. He didn't care. We're gonna lie you up. You mentioned

  600. Jesus one more time. We're gonna put you in prison. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

  601. What you're gonna do? We have commanded you to do death.

  602. And so Paul said, let me ask you to think

  603. about that fact. Do you think I don't obey Man?

  604. Do you think I should obey God? What do you think?

  605. This is what he told them. He already knew the himsel.

  606. He was absolutely dedicated the service of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  607. And he made his statement, and he made it his

  608. priority and his views and his values and his faithfulness

  609. in completing his work in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Nothing.

  610. You know, when he got on that road, he began

  611. to walk like Jesus. You see, Jesus didn't come. He

  612. didn't let anything get in his way. He didn't compromise anything.

  613. He continued the work no matter what they said. They

  614. sped on him, they slapped him. This is before he

  615. went to the cross. They mocked him, they abused him,

  616. they called them things he wasn't. But he stayed focused.

  617. He stretched forward towards the mark. What was his mark,

  618. the cross? Why was his mark? The cross? You and me?

  619. That was his mark? You and me the cross? And

  620. he failed not he stayed focused. We have to stay focused.

  621. Paul was focused. Paul was dedicated. You can't let people

  622. cause you to cuss them out. You can't let people

  623. cause you to not like him. I didn't say hey them,

  624. I said not like them. You can't let people cause

  625. you to not love them even though they hate you.

  626. You can't do it. That's part of stretching forth towards

  627. the mall. You gotta stay on the mark. Hey man,

  628. you can't let people frustrate you. All it's gonna come,

  629. but you gotta shake it off. It's the Holy ghosts. Fuck.

  630. You ain't got the Holy Ghost. You got a problem

  631. the Holy ghosts for shaking it off. When Paul was

  632. bit by the viper when he crossed over through the storm,

  633. when the boat broke up and he reached into the

  634. sticking to get the viper reached up, the most poisonous

  635. snake on the island bit his arm, and he shook

  636. it out into the fire. They were setting around like

  637. this because they knew the venom of that snake, and

  638. they were waiting for Paul to drop dead. But the

  639. Holy Ghost helped them to shake it off. So, when

  640. you've been bitten by the snake and the vipers of

  641. the words of people, shake it out off. Are the

  642. things that people do to you and try to do

  643. to you. Shake it off and stay on the mark.

  644. Stay on the mark. I'm not telling you it's easy,

  645. but shake it off. If you stay in this word

  646. and this word stay in you, it's not hard to

  647. shake it off. But if you are any many money

  648. more Christian, you gonna have a problem. You gotta stay

  649. with this word. This word will strengthen your spirit and

  650. weaken your flesh. And when your flesh is not as

  651. strong as your spirit, you can't shake it off. Are

  652. you with me? Amen? We gotta stay dedicated. We gotta

  653. run this race, and the race is ran individually. You

  654. might run faster than me. I might run faster than you.

  655. I might not run very good good. I made job

  656. pretty good. But as long as I crossed the finished line,

  657. I'm still a winner. I'm still a winner. I'm won.

  658. It don't matter that fifteen hundred people beat you across

  659. that line, like they what are those things? They have

  660. a marathons? They ain't got but one person gonna win.

  661. When I was in high school, a junior high school,

  662. this is what they told me. We had a race

  663. they called the Turkey Truck and it was on national TV.

  664. I found out later and they said the winner would

  665. get a turkey and some money, and the winner would

  666. be the only one that would be on TV. And

  667. you were grown folks in this turkey truck. I was

  668. in junior high school. I was in yeah, junior high school.

  669. Bru diggon. I put everything I had in me in

  670. that race because I wanted to be on TV. Oh yes, sir,

  671. this is a true story. I won that race. I

  672. beat all of them, mark out. I was so excited

  673. to run the race. At the start line, when they

  674. popped the gun, I slipped and fell. I got up, though,

  675. y'all don't hear what I'm saying. Let me say that again.

  676. When they popped the gun, I took off salt. We

  677. were in grass, had to run from the grass and

  678. the concrete and dollar. We were in the grass when

  679. we took off a big field cause we had to

  680. run around these areas. And when they said fou, I

  681. did like that and slipped and fail. Caught myself with

  682. my hands, all them folks in front of me. But

  683. I got up. Got to hear what I said. I

  684. got up. I didn't just get up deep. I won.

  685. I ran through those little flags. It was a little

  686. red and yellow and blue flags with my head up

  687. like that. Come wait and get home and see myself

  688. on TV. I had to be on TV. I ain't

  689. caring about no turk act. I want to be on TV.

  690. But young buck, I want to see myself on TV.

  691. I saw myself coming through them ribbons ball I was

  692. jell like that. I want that race at Southern Middle School.

  693. Never forget it. But see this is a different marathon here.

  694. See everybody that runs this race, that crossing the finish

  695. line is gonna be on TV. Everybody gonna be on TV.

  696. Then you hear what I'm saying. Everybody is a winner.

  697. Everybody gets the prize. Ay man, Amen, give God a

  698. handclap of praise. Aymn, praise the Lord. Gotta run the race,

  699. but run it well, aymen, we gotta run it well.

  700. How do we run it well? See when people run

  701. a marathon, you know what they do. When they run

  702. a marathon, they pace theyselves. They pace theyself. So when

  703. you run this marathon, you gotta pace yourself. You won't

  704. run too fast because you might run by something, or

  705. you might run into something. You want to pace yourself.

  706. That way, when you pace yourself, you can see it

  707. coming before it comes, hey man. And so when you

  708. see it coming, for it comes, you don't have to react.

  709. You can respond to it. See what I'm saying. You

  710. can get a response. See, reaction is different than a response.

  711. A response mean you got time to think about it,

  712. time to analyze it, time to figure it out, time

  713. to make the right move on it. But when you react,

  714. you might react the wrong way. See that's why you

  715. gotta pace yourself in this race. Pace yourself. Don't stop running,

  716. pace yourself. Don't stop running, just pace yourself, pace yourself,

  717. keep going forward. Sometimes you might need to slow down,

  718. walk a little bit, but walk fast, Go fast, go fast.

  719. It's imperative that you cross that finish line. All I'm

  720. trying to do is tell you that whatever it takes

  721. to get across that finish line to hear well done,

  722. run the race, Run it well. Amen a man, give

  723. God a hand clap of prayers. Amen,
