Amen. Praise the Lord. Amen. Praise and praise and praising Amen. Amen,
-
worthy to be praised. Thank you Jesus. Get ready for
-
the word of God. Amen. Amen.
-
Thank and praise God for all of you today. And
-
to see uh, sister Lysse of wealth and in motion.
-
Amen.
-
Somebody thank God for the healing hand of God. We
-
thank God this morning for his presence in this place.
-
Amen.
-
We thank God for being here. We're living in a
-
world of destruction, Amen, And we need to stay focused.
-
This is not something new. This has been going on
-
since the beginning of time. Started in the beginning of time.
-
As a matter of fact, it started before time. It
-
started before time, because it all started in heaven before
-
it started on earth.
-
Amen.
-
The rebellion and the sin against God started would Lucid
-
for us in heaven, and then Eve was deceived, and
-
then Adam sin against God.
-
But we thank God that he sent us Jesus Christ. Amen.
-
We thank Him for Jesus who bore all our sins
-
on the cross. Amen. For without Jesus Christ, we'll be here.
-
But we have no hope here, we have no peace here, we.
-
Have no happiness. Some may say, well I'm happy, Oh no,
-
you don't have true happiness. You just have the world's happiness.
-
You have the world's peace. That's why you get disturbed
-
so easily, because you got the world's peace. He the
-
peace that Jesus said, I give them to you, not
-
as the world giveth, I give unto you. It's a
-
different peace, Amen. It's a peace that holds up in
-
the times of trouble, in the times of turmoil, in
-
the times of confusion.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
So we give God the honor today and the praise
-
and glory, thanking Him always for his most precious treasure
-
and treasure. Thank God for his greatest creation, which would
-
be us.
-
Amen.
-
We think and praise God for our safety always, and
-
for his giving us the needs that we have and
-
the wants that we want.
-
Amen.
-
Amen, Because that's the kind of God that we serve.
-
I do think in praise Him this morning. When I
-
think about the goodness of God, I also think about
-
the power of God, and I think about the wrath
-
of God. I think about what kind of God he
-
is and what kind of God he can be.
-
Amen.
-
I think about in these last day and I'm looking
-
at the destruction of the world, and I'm thinking about
-
the people of God all over the world. And I'm
-
not being selfish, but I think about those here more
-
simply because this is where I'm responsible, Amen, And I
-
want to make sure, by the help of the Lord
-
and the Holy Spirit of God and the Jesus and me,
-
that I direct the people God give me responsibility over
-
in the right way, in the truth of his word,
-
in the warnings of his words, in the way that
-
we should live and carry ourselves. Because I don't want
-
no blood on my hands when he comes.
-
I want to see him in good standings. We watched,
-
we watched.
-
And I'm gonna get to it, but we watched the.
-
Movie the other day. It was called The Rapture of
-
the Church. That's the name of the movie.
-
And they was being warned about him coming, and even
-
that was a that was a I didn't even get
-
it at first, but I kept listening and I got it.
-
The guy sitting in the barber chair was one of
-
the ministers.
-
In the church, and he kept me out, he don't
-
want to hear all that. How can you not want
-
to hear all that? They were talking about it in
-
the barber.
-
Shop, and he was like, I got on hear all
-
that and all that, and I'm like what. Then I
-
realized they called him, you know, he was a preacher.
-
I know they was teasing at first, but as the
-
story went on, I saw him in the church up
-
with his rob on with the other ministers and the pastor.
-
But it went on and on and on, and it
-
was talking about uh. When they was that Sunday when
-
they was going to church and with the many houses
-
and people were left behind home, the little boy said
-
he was going.
-
He was talking.
-
He was on the phone talking to some little girl upstairs.
-
His daddy was was a deacon, his mama they was already.
-
He wasn't getting ready.
-
He was gonna.
-
He's trying to pick up a little girl. He said,
-
if she ain't going to church today, I ain't going.
-
So she broke up with this other guy who got
-
another girl pregnant. Her parents found out the back of
-
long story short, her parents told her, no, you riding
-
with us the church, So she went with him.
-
With the parents.
-
She was mad and he found out she wasn't. She
-
didn't answer her phone, so he felt like she didn't
-
roll with her parents, so she ain't going, so he
-
stayed at home. Then the lady came and talked to
-
her husband. He wanted to watch the game. You know,
-
the game coming on.
-
I promise you I'll go with you next Sunday. I
-
promise I'd go with you next Sunday. That's what he said.
-
But all in all, in short, the preacher was preaching,
-
and the service had begun, and the rapture came, and
-
all those people the earthquake shook the earth.
-
This dude came.
-
Running over the guy's house and told his wife, I
-
would be next Sunday.
-
Because he was in there.
-
He was outside watching his car. That one was waiting
-
for the game to come on. He come running. He said, man,
-
you've seen the news.
-
He said no. He went in and flipped the TV
-
on and he could see. He kept changing channels, and
-
all over the world the rapture had hit.
-
The earth was shaking, earthquakes had come, floods had came,
-
faming it came. All of that was happening, all of them.
-
The little boy that didn't go to church ran to
-
the church. The man said he'd be there next Sunday
-
ran to the church. The lady that was smoking a
-
cigarette and on the phone talking to somebody before she
-
was gonna go to church and.
-
Told the son to come coming. He ain't want to
-
go to church.
-
He the one that got the other little girl pregnant,
-
and the other girl broke up with him because because
-
of that.
-
She comes to church. They all running up in the church.
-
The rapat hit.
-
Big church full of people at one point, but the
-
rapture hit, it was just a few people left in there. Wow, wailing,
-
crying on their knees, begging. The one that was smoking
-
a cigarette before she went to church, she coming and running.
-
Lord, I did all you told me to do. I
-
came to church. Yeah, but you want to say, baby.
-
All used to have seen a lot of folks in
-
their nice suits and nice dresses.
-
And the big hats and stuff all left behind. And
-
then the man all this got a point y'all.
-
And the man who told his wife he'll be in
-
church next Sunday but he want to stay gona watch
-
the game. He running in there looking for his wife.
-
There the meat coat was laying on the pew.
-
She was gone.
-
Then the preacher that was in the barbershop talking about
-
he want herolder, he said, it's real.
-
It was really real.
-
Oh yeah, it's real. Whether you believe it or not,
-
but you will believe it. But you better believe it
-
in the right standings.
-
He went up to the one I've been preaching then.
-
It was a preacher, one of the preachers up there.
-
I've been preaching for forty years. Forty years, forty years.
-
Forty aint none.
-
Of y'all been saved forty years, not that I know.
-
Maybe in his sister layin. Don't know you only fifty,
-
so I know you wouldn't say it again forty years.
-
I ain't even been saved forty years.
-
Forty years he been preaching. Then.
-
The little girl who wanted to ride with the little boy,
-
but her parents went a little.
-
She was in the church on her knees.
-
I thought, listen to her words. Now you gotta listen
-
to the words of these people.
-
I thought I was saved. I thought I was saved. No, baby,
-
you wasn't saying because you left behind. You wouldn't say,
-
she said. I thought I would say, I keep telling you.
-
Better know you saved. Better know it. You can't think it.
-
You'll be sitting there saying. I thought I was saying.
-
The rapture of the church, y'all watch it. It's on
-
taboo to U be I. I think it's that say
-
t B that say taboo. It's on two B. You
-
can google it. Watch it. The rapture of the church,
-
it's powerful, sends a powerful message.
-
All those people thinking that they can do it the
-
next time.
-
The next time, no man know the day of the hour.
-
That's what God was proving to all of them proved
-
it to him.
-
You should see all the people as a big church.
-
They had rolls over there in that field and over there.
-
That field, and that big church was and when some
-
of them are huge church, it's just just a remnant
-
of people in the in the Hugh crying welly, falling
-
down on their knees, praying too late down. But the
-
main characters them four five six main characters who we
-
actually dealt with in the in the movie.
-
They came up in there.
-
That one lader, she just fell down on her knee
-
soon as she came in the door. They kept saying
-
it happened, it happened. Then the one guy who told
-
his wife he'll be there Sunday, he pulled out a
-
thousand dollars to the preacher, like you gotta fix that.
-
He told the preacher you gotta fix this.
-
I'm gonna pa he said, Man, you can't pay your
-
way in.
-
See all it was a bunch of messages in that.
-
You gotta look at it.
-
You gotta watch that movie and listen and look and
-
look at the messages and look at the messages.
-
But I brought that all out because.
-
We're living in a time where the saints of God
-
ain't even paying attention to sin. Sin't gonna get you
-
out of heaven. It ain't gonna get you in. They're
-
not paying attention. And when I'm talking about sin, I'm
-
talking about their own sin, their own shortcomings. Babble, say,
-
work out your own and if they work out, mind
-
and yours and his and theirs, work out your own
-
salvation with fear and shildren. How do you all of
-
us work out our own salvation practically the same way
-
right here, right here.
-
We all might not have the.
-
Same problems, but it's all worked out right here.
-
This is the answer for all of it. It's already
-
been answered too. It's already been answer.
-
I sent that to a couple other people to watch,
-
but I wanted to tell y'all about it, And it's.
-
On taboo to b to u bei the rapture of
-
the church put in the rapture of church to pop up.
-
Let us pray, Father, we come before you right now
-
in the name of Jesus. We thank you for hosting
-
us this morning. We thank you for your word. Pray
-
God that your word will impart wisdom, knowledge and understanding
-
to us, because we know that it's what it's all about. Father,
-
in the name of Jesus, Your word is wisdom, your
-
word is knowledge, and we pray that the Holy Goost
-
will give us understanding of it, that we may grow
-
even more and more in you, Father, in the name
-
of Jesus, that we will come more and more to
-
an understanding of your will and your ways. Father, that
-
we won't be caught unaware. Hallelujah. Lord, Thank you Lord
-
for caring so much to warn us of the things
-
to come, and not only to warn.
-
Us, but help us help us in the warnings the
-
name of Jesus.
-
And as your word goes forth, let it do God,
-
what you would have it to do, and let us
-
receive it and let it manifest in our lives. In
-
Jesus' name, I praise Amen. In the Book of Genesis,
-
chapter three, I'm going to tell you a story that
-
you have heard before. It's God's truth about man's guilt
-
in God's innocence. So people can guilty blame God. I
-
want to tell you.
-
This story about God's innocence and man's guilt.
-
Amen, God's innocence and man's guilt. This is a story
-
about God's innocence because it's in the beginning. Amen, look
-
at this verse her first timity to all right, let's
-
look at this in Genesis chapter three, starting in verse one.
-
Now you with me, hey man, It says, now the
-
serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field
-
which the Lord God had made. He made them all,
-
and he said unto the woman. He said to the woman, Yes,
-
has God said you should not eat of the every
-
tree of the garden.
-
It's the serpent talking to.
-
The woman, and the woman said, unto the serpent, she's
-
starting to have a conversation. That's where you mess up.
-
You don't sit around and have a conversation with the devil.
-
We may eat of the fruit of the tree of
-
the garden, but of the fruit of the tree which
-
is in the midst of the garden. God had said,
-
ye should not eat of it, neither shall ye touch
-
it least you die. God didn't say nothing boy touching it.
-
He said, don't eat it. And she's already messed up
-
about what God told him. And the serpent said, unto
-
the woman, ye shall not surely die. You ain't gonna die,
-
for God does know that in the day you eat thereof,
-
then your eyes shall be open, and ye shall be
-
as gods. Oh that really gat he knowing good and evil.
-
But they was already like gods.
-
And when the woman saw that the tree was good
-
for food, and it is, and it was pleasant to
-
the eyes, she already know the tree was good for food.
-
She's been she's starting to deceive her own self and
-
the deception of the devil.
-
And the tree to be desired.
-
To make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof
-
and did eat, and gave also until her husband with her,
-
and he did eat. Okay, So that dispels the fact
-
that people keep saying, and Adam wasn't right there. Adam
-
w over there into God. So she got one of
-
the longest arms in history that God ever made. Because
-
the Bible said, with her, I don't know what with
-
her means anybody else, But to me, it means he
-
was standing right there.
-
He wasn't.
-
Right there observing everything that she was doing. And the
-
eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that
-
they were nicked. And they sewed fig leaves together and
-
made themselves aprons.
-
And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking
-
in the garden in the cool of the day.
-
Now they're not sinning and cut up. Now here come God.
-
And you know God always comes after you sin. You
-
do know that right because he comes in to the
-
holy gulfs, had come to try to what he tries
-
to do, cause you to repent, have a godless sorrow
-
about what you did. And they heard the voice of
-
the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool
-
of the day. And Adam and his wife hid themselves,
-
They said, Adam and his wife, wasn't his girlfriend hid
-
themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst.
-
The trees of the garden.
-
And the Lord God called unto Adam. He didn't call
-
Eve and said unto him. He didn't say it to her.
-
Where are you?
-
And he Adam said, I heard your voice in the garden,
-
and I was afraid because I was nicked.
-
And I hid myself. He was ashamed, and he said,
-
who told you that you were naked? Don't tell me
-
God in.
-
Sarcastic, have you eaten of the tree where I've commanded
-
you that you should not eat?
-
Have you done this?
-
And the man said, he didn't answer, and say, yeah, Lord,
-
that's what out. Indeed, now he said, the woman whom
-
you get to me be with. She gave me of
-
the tree. She gave me of the tree, and I
-
did eat. And the Lord God said, unto the woman,
-
what is this that you have done? And the woman said,
-
the serpent begalled me. He the one tricked me, and
-
I did he he the one that did it, and
-
I got deceived. Y'all may see that in the house
-
of the Lord. So he blamed the serpent in the
-
sense she was also blaming God because God had made
-
the serpent. And Adam blamed the woman whom God gave
-
to her. Nobody took responsibilities.
-
And verse fourteen said that the Lord God said, unto
-
the serpent, he done went through everybody, but he ain't
-
asking him. He telling him, because you have done this,
-
you are cursed above all cattle and above every beast
-
of the field he done cursed he the only animal
-
that God cursed upon your although even though what they did.
-
Curse the animals, but he was cursed greater than all animals,
-
because in the end time.
-
He's gonna steal, be delivered and not be venomous. But
-
he's gonna always crawl on his belly in the dust
-
for the because God told him. This is what God
-
told him.
-
And the Lord God said, unto the serpent, because you
-
have done this, you are cursed above our cattle and
-
above every beast of the field. Upon your belly shall
-
you go, and dust shall you eat all the days
-
of your life.
-
That right there is what got him, all the days
-
of your life. Even though when the end time come
-
and God comes, Jesus comes back, and we go back
-
to the beginning and at the end, and we live
-
in a holy body, in a holy land and the
-
holy earth, and there's no more evil. That certain is
-
still gonna crawl on his belly, because he said, all
-
the days.
-
Of your life, and I will put imity between you
-
and the woman as animosity enemy, and between your seed
-
and her seed shall and between your seed and her
-
seed it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise
-
his heel.
-
Talking about Jesus Christ, the suffering on the cross.
-
This is the prophecy of the deliverance of man after
-
the fall of man. The deliverance was already prophesied, he said,
-
unto the woman.
-
Unto the woman, he.
-
Said, I will greatly multiply your sorrow.
-
And your conception.
-
Oh, okay, in sorrow you shall bring forth children. That's
-
a result of the fall. And the children are gonna
-
be born into a world of sorrow as today. And
-
your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall
-
rule over you. So instead here he said that your husband,
-
instead of God would now rule over you. And then
-
to Adam, he said, because of you, Because until Adam,
-
he said, because you have hearkened until the voice of
-
your woman, the first role reversal in marriage. Instead of
-
listening to me and have eaten, you listen to her.
-
And you have eaten of the tree of which I
-
commanded you, saying, ye shall not eat of it. Cursed.
-
Listen to the cursed, Adam.
-
Cursed is the ground for your sake and sorrow shall
-
you eat of it all the days of your life.
-
See the earth was intended to be a paradise. But
-
now it's gonna give up thistles and thorns and all
-
this kind of.
-
Stuff all the days of his life. That's a death
-
sentence to Adam, because death was never in the beginning.
-
And now he done gave Adam a death sentence. Thorns also,
-
and thistles, shall it bring forth to you? And you
-
shall eat the herb of the field in the sweat
-
of your face. Shall you eat bread? It's gonna be
-
obtained by hard labor. Now, so what he's telling them,
-
till you return into the ground, that's the death sentence,
-
for out of it. You were taken from dust. You are,
-
and until dust shall you return. So we look at this.
-
He always talking about we were made from the dirt
-
of the dirt. Now all the Bible said we made
-
from dust. You know how hard it is take dust
-
and put it together.
-
This is just see it.
-
Was about the dust showing the power of God. You
-
can take some dirt and mold some stuff, but you
-
can't take no dust and do it.
-
You throw it up and dust and the air gonna
-
go up.
-
In there eventually disappear, and the little Parker say, is
-
gonna fall back to the ground. You can't grab that
-
dust in form nothing out of us. But God did
-
because he was letting us know his power, how powerful
-
it is.
-
And Adam called his wife named Eve.
-
Because she was the mother of all living. See right there,
-
right there, that was the mercy of God to let
-
man know that man kind don't stop right here. And
-
because every time a baby is born, that's the mercy
-
of God and the promise of God that he does
-
not intend to destroy all of mankind of humanity.
-
See, we wanta watch this stuff.
-
You gotta feel God when you're reading this, It says
-
an Adam called his wife's name Eve.
-
What is what does Eve's name mean? Living? The mother
-
of the living. See.
-
God named the man he named the Madam, which means earth,
-
a red earth. And Adam named the woman he called
-
the Eve, which means life. So Adam named Adam bears.
-
The name of the dying body, Eve of the living soul.
-
Are you with me?
-
Because see when Adam sinned against God, he died twice
-
his body that was eternal Dad and his spirit Dad,
-
because he was no longer connected to God. But the
-
mercy of God until Adam also and to his wife,
-
did the Lord God make coats of skins and clothe them.
-
Now, you got to understand this. The little figs they made, the.
-
Little outfits they made out of figs, wasn't good enough.
-
God made them from clothes. Did you hear the Bible?
-
They said God took the skins of the animals and
-
made them from clothes.
-
For something happened right there. Nobody know what happened right there,
-
You Maty, know what happened right there.
-
You can't get them clothes off them anamals unless they die.
-
So what God did right there, he did He.
-
Did a remission of sin for them. He killed the animal.
-
Blood is the only thing is can give forgiveness of sin.
-
So he didn't just make them clothes out of the animals.
-
He made a sacrifice on the altar for their sins
-
that they committed against him.
-
Let me prove something out.
-
The people keep saying Adam and Eve will deceived by
-
the devil.
-
And when they say that, they say that, right, that's
-
what they say. Right?
-
Is that what you believe and what I believe? But
-
is that what you believe? I'm just telling you that
-
ain't what I believe. But that is that what you believe?
-
That Adam Eve was deceived by the devil.
-
Let me help you out.
-
First Timothy, chapter two. Want everybody turn there, first Timothy,
-
chapter two. And let's look at verse fourteen. Everybody there,
-
Everybody ain't there? First Timothy, chapter two, verse fourteen. When
-
you get there, say man, hey, man, brother, you ain't
-
there yet.
-
I want everybody to see this. They already looking at it.
-
No Timothy Backer in the back after there's a lonely
-
he got baby before hebrews, and we gonna wait on you.
-
This the day of the Lord. That's what God told
-
us all he set aside for himself.
-
First, First Timothy, chapter two, Verse fourteen.
-
Yeah, listen to the word.
-
Let's start at thirteen. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
-
So creation was made like this, Adam, then Eve and Adam.
-
Somebody said that was not what Adam was. Now I
-
need to hear everybout it. Adam was not what, Adam
-
was not what, but the.
-
Woman being what was in the transgression.
-
So the so Adam was not the bibble say that.
-
Charles Thompins didn't say that. Charles Chompins repeated it. And
-
Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was
-
in transgression. But nevertheless, she shall be saved in child
-
bearing if they continue in the faith and charity and
-
holiness with sobriety.
-
So how was she saved in childbury? You know how
-
she was saving in child baring because Jesus was coming.
-
G was coming. Jesus was coming. She had Caine and Abel,
-
and then she had Says because.
-
He couldn't come through Caine, but he was gonna come.
-
Through Abel, but came killed him.
-
And since he killed him, he couldn't come through King
-
because Caine wasn't righteous. He had to come through a
-
righteous lineage. So Adam knew his wife again. That means
-
he went into her and she bore another son, Seth.
-
That's the lineage David came. Then then all the linages
-
and then David, and then Jesus came.
-
Through the lineage of David. That's why they called him
-
the son of David, who was the seed Eve. So
-
couldn't letting people tell you that that Adam and Eve,
-
that Adam and Eve were deceived. That ain't what the
-
Bible say.
-
That's what they say, But that ain't what the Bible say.
-
Hey man, that's what matters. Let's look at this Genesis.
-
Genesis is a powerful book, just like the rest of them,
-
of course.
-
But the thing about Genesis is, if you read Genesis
-
in its entirety, you really have read the whole Bible.
-
You've really read.
-
Basically every concept of creation and man's point of a
-
man's future.
-
You've read it.
-
Genesis tells us the creation of the universe. Genesis two.
-
Genesis one tells us the creation of the universe. Genesis
-
two tells us about the fuller way of the creation
-
of humanity. Genesis three tells us about the fall of
-
man and how evil enter the world. Boom, that's it.
-
In chapter one and two we see that a.
-
Good God created a good world by his might, by
-
his mighty word, he spoke the world into being, and
-
by the dust of the earth he made man. See
-
this is why the Bible said the word of God
-
is spirit.
-
Y'all, you're with me, because God didn't take anything to
-
make something. He spoke it. His word is spirit.
-
And when he spoke it, it went out into the
-
earth and created. How you with me, and something came
-
into fluition. I'm trying to tell you something. Your very
-
words create things in your own life.
-
I was telling somebody the other day that keeps.
-
I said, you gotta quit speaking this negaive stuff. Quit
-
speaking niggas.
-
Stuf, speak positi stivef It don't matter. You can just
-
speak positive stuff.
-
And they were saying this, and they were saying this, Well,
-
I guess I ain't got no job no more.
-
They ain't calling. I've been called them as fah blah
-
blah blah.
-
I said, quit speaking negative stuff. You don't know what's
-
going on. I said'mna take what's going on. They may
-
have gotten your call and your text, but they was
-
too busy to answer you right back. Soon as I
-
left that person's house from doing some work over them
-
having that conversation with As soon as I got home,
-
the phone ring, they can answer phone my job call.
-
I said, really, they said, and you know what they
-
told me? She was right, you was right. I said,
-
all right, I speak through the spirit of God. God
-
gave me what to say to you. My client said.
-
They said they was doing rounds and they were too
-
busy to answer the call. That's exactly what I told
-
that in the vision. But you got to speak yourself
-
out of a job. If I didn't spoke the positive
-
stuff back into the atmosphere for you.
-
I took a lady to get a car one time
-
from the old church I used to go to. Because
-
I don't know why this pass word always sick people
-
on me to take the gold look for cars. So
-
we go to the lot I take.
-
I took a many of them. They went to the
-
lot and I talked because I could talk. You know,
-
I had to gift the gas.
-
And I'm talking to the cellar and telling him you
-
ain't got to make a million. I was off one person,
-
make it out of a whole lot of So give everybody,
-
give somebody a break.
-
You'll get there.
-
In other words, don't be trying to rip him off.
-
And everybody got a car.
-
But this one person I took passed over, asked, brother Thomas,
-
go with you to get the car.
-
So I went with the person to get the car.
-
He's sitting there going they ain't gonna give me this car.
-
He ain't gonna get this car. My credit. This my
-
credit that I'm sitting there going, Would you shut up?
-
I said, if you keep speaking this, you speaking yourself
-
right out of the car.
-
Man came in there, long story, strush walk. We left
-
the same way. We came in my in my car. Heymen,
-
So we asked.
-
I said, if a good God created a good world,
-
how is it that a good God makes a good
-
world and it's so full of evil?
-
Something has happened to our world? We read in Genesis,
-
not that part further in the in the in the
-
further part of not the further part, in the latter part,
-
where God made this so it was good, made that
-
so it was good. How did a good God make
-
so many things? He saw it was good? Because if
-
he saw it was good, it was good. Why was
-
it good because he made it? Why? Because he made it?
-
Because he don't make evil, and he don't do evil,
-
and he don't tell people to do evil. So what
-
happened to our world?
-
If a good God made a good world and it's
-
so full of evil, why is there violence in this world? War, bitterness, hatred, resentment,
-
and prejudice.
-
In a world a good God made? Hm.
-
Well, I'm gonna tell you, I'm glad you ass the
-
evil in this world exists.
-
In our world. Y'a ain't gonna like it because it
-
lives in us. That's why. Because it lives in us.
-
Because you see every one of us has had and
-
some still have the oudam nature.
-
Oh yeah, every one of us have had, have had
-
past tens, and some still have presents.
-
Who's the one who have had those that got Jesus
-
on the inside.
-
Who's the one that still have the ones that don't
-
have Jesus.
-
That's simple. I'm glad you asked.
-
Seeing in the third chapter, verses one through seven, Moses
-
began to write about the temptation.
-
And the entry of sin.
-
He begins with the serpent, who was the instrument that
-
Satan used of the temptation? Seeing Revelations ninth, Relation twelve
-
and nine. It speaks of that old serpent, the devil
-
and Satan. But the eternal source listen to me, good,
-
The eternal source of temptation comes to a person and
-
invokes an answering response. See, temptation comes and it provokes
-
answer me an answering response, are you with me? And
-
it desires within that person. Evil comes from without.
-
But the Book of James plainly teaches us that in
-
James's Chapter one, let's read it, this had happened. This
-
is what happened to.
-
James way back there too, brother, right before Peter, after
-
Hebrews when you get there, say man, James, chapter one
-
and verse starting in verse thirteen, how were you with me?
-
A yeah, let's start at verse thirteen. Matter of fact,
-
let's start at verse.
-
Twelve. Are you there? James, Chapter one, verse twelve.
-
Blessed is the man who endures temptation. That's talking about
-
a man who endures the test of fate, because the
-
devil gonna continue to test your faith. Or when he
-
is tried, he shall receive.
-
The crown of life.
-
That's the reward much greater than the price paid, which
-
the Lord has promised out here to see that promise
-
to them who love him. If you truly love him,
-
you will truly keep his commandments. A man, Now, here's
-
where we want to be. I just want to set
-
the foundation with that. It says, let no man say
-
when he is tempted.
-
I am tempted of God.
-
God don't tempt us, for God cannot. It is say
-
God will not. It is say God can't try.
-
Now it said God cannot be tempted with evil, neither
-
tempts he any man. Are you with me? But every man?
-
This is where you got to get Every man.
-
Is tempted when he is drawn away of his own
-
loss and enticed.
-
Then after that happens, when lust has conceived, it brings
-
forth sin. What does it mean when a woman conceives
-
what is she doing?
-
She's getting pregnant and then she gotta bring forth that
-
baby so that temptation wantsn't conceived. Then that baby gonna
-
be born, that baby that you attempted with. Then when
-
lust has conceived, it brings forth.
-
Sin, and sin when it is finished, brings forth death.
-
See this ain't talking about you falling out dead and
-
being buried in the grave.
-
Okay, it when it's finished, it brings forth death. What
-
is the death? Spiritual death?
-
Because sin separates man from God?
-
Are you with me? Spiritual death has told you? That's
-
what happened at him.
-
He died of physical and he died of spiritual death
-
because he was disconnected from God.
-
And he died of physical death.
-
Because as least it probably knows, fifty thousand body sells
-
in your body died daily.
-
So what does that mean your body is deteriorated.
-
You must have a whole lot of them, because you're
-
living to be fifty sixty years old and even twenty
-
something and times that time. Fifty daily It's a lot
-
of them died.
-
It's a lot of them died. So James teaches us
-
that this is what happened to Eve in Eden.
-
The serpent asked a woman an almost rhetorical question, was
-
yourtorical havel?
-
God said? You could just see him? Had God said?
-
Had God and you just look loot expressions on his face?
-
Has God said, just sitting there looking at you innocent?
-
Has God said that you should sure have died? Wait
-
a minute, now, God said you shall not eat of
-
the every tree of the garden. That's what he said.
-
He said, Hey, God said that you shall not eat
-
You sure about that? Now he's testing your memory and
-
he's testing your obedience towards God. He's testing your mind frame.
-
Has God really said that you should not eat of
-
every every tree of the garden? Every tree?
-
You should not eat of every tree of the garden.
-
Had God said that you should not eat of every
-
tree of the garden? But obviously if he said that,
-
the devil he knew what God had said. He knew
-
that they were permitted to eat of every tree.
-
In the garden except one.
-
He knew that, you see, his intent was the plant
-
a seed of doubt that's what he's trying to do.
-
That's how people get you sure you want to eat
-
the rest of that?
-
You got one little bite left on your sandwich, You
-
got a little bit of your drink left you sure
-
you won't drink the rest of that? You sure you
-
needed five dollars for the month because I needed five dollars.
-
They trying to make you doubt whether or not you.
-
Need your money out of your last bite of your savage.
-
So he was trying to He was trying to create
-
some doubt in Eve when he says, had God said
-
you should not eat?
-
Eat of every tree of the goden?
-
So he was trying to plant a seed of doubt
-
concerning the goodness of.
-
God in Eve's mind.
-
But here was a woman, a woman. A whole lot
-
of women say this, but it ain't true. But it's
-
true for this woman. It could be true for them,
-
because they might not want to announce. But here was
-
a woman with everything a human could desire, but Satan
-
fed her a big life. She had everything she could desire,
-
but he fed her life of deception.
-
He said, you should not die. That's what he told her.
-
The reason God told you not to eat of the
-
tree of that he knows that if you ate it,
-
you would know good and evil. You would be like God.
-
So the woman began to look at the tree again
-
in a different way.
-
She'd begin to look at it different. Now, you know
-
how people are put doubt in you about something you
-
won't because they don't want you to have it because
-
you'll have more than they got. And you ain't even
-
thinking about having more than they got. You just thinking
-
about having something because you just want something because you
-
know you earned it and you deserve it. But they'll
-
try to talk you out of it, put doubt in
-
your mind. You don't really need that, You don't need that,
-
You don't need to see if something happened to it,
-
then what you're gonna do? Can you afford it? You
-
don't need that, You really don't need that. You don't
-
need that dress. Girl, You got ten dresses at home,
-
but you ain't got nothing to look like that. You
-
got ten of them at home. You don't need that
-
because they and then have you ever seen people do that?
-
And then you look up and they got They told
-
you what you didn't need.
-
So this woman began to look at this tree different
-
because of the doubt that the enemy was putting in
-
her head.
-
She discovered, well, she should already know. She discovered three
-
things about that tree.
-
After the devil got through talking to her, she discovered
-
three things.
-
One she noted that the fruit on the tree was
-
good for food. Hey, you just now noticed that you
-
already knew that.
-
But then you're looking a little harder, and you done
-
tricked your own self in believing that you didn't know that.
-
At first, Come on, somebody, it was good for food.
-
Then she saw that it was delightful to look at.
-
But it was the third appeal that was tempted that
-
Satan told her that the fruit would make one wise.
-
She already had the knowledge and wisdom of God. She
-
was made out of his likeness. How much wisdom. She had.
-
Everything she could desire, She had all of God's wisdom.
-
She was falliable, she was perfect.
-
Py gonna make you wiser than God, That's what he
-
really was trying to say. She saw that last thing,
-
that the fruit would make one wise, So she ate
-
the fruit and then shared.
-
It with at him.
-
You see, most of the time we seldomly want to
-
sin all by I said, want somebody else join in?
-
We don't want to sin alone. Now, come on, come on,
-
smoke this joint with me. Come on, it ain't gonna
-
hurt you. Just take a little toke. You ain't got talked.
-
Some people tell you just take a little drink.
-
You ain't got drink no more. Just take a little drink.
-
Just test, just taste it, Just taste it. Once you
-
taste it, I'm done. They want you to join in
-
by any means necessary. They don't want you drink a
-
whole body. If you don't want to drink a whole bottle.
-
Just taste it. I want you in with me, just
-
a little token. You know.
-
They are They don't. They don't usually sin alone. When
-
when we sin, it usually involves other people. But what
-
was this fruit that folks keep lying about? You know
-
what the fruit was? Does anybody know.
-
What the fruit was? Don't say an apple either, don't
-
say a fig either. Say I don't know because I
-
don't know. Know why I don't know what.
-
You don't know because the Bible don't tell you. See,
-
if you read Deuteronomy thirty twenty nine to thirty, he said,
-
the secret things belong to God, and there are things
-
that God are just Periphrad, And there are things that
-
let me just turn to it. I don't want to
-
prefer it. I don't want to say it just like
-
God said it. Do do rummy twenty nine.
-
Thirty nor twenty nine and twenty Now I'm sorry.
-
Twenty nine twenty nine ain't no thirty. He says, the
-
secret things belonging.
-
To the Lord, our God.
-
But those things which I revealed belonging to us and
-
to our children forever forever.
-
That we may do all that the words of this law.
-
See that some things God didn't just tell us because
-
they belonged to him.
-
So tradition, our customary day.
-
The thought of man's doctrine came about because the similarity
-
of two words.
-
And they want to run around telling you it was
-
an apple.
-
I talked to a brother that been talked to this
-
gospel and been taught it right, and I don't know
-
how he got vamboozom. He called me on the phone
-
a couple of weeks ago talking about it was an apple.
-
I said, man, if you don't get off my phone,
-
so I hurt your ear drum by slamming it down.
-
The Bible didn't tell us there was no apple.
-
So the woman was deceived and tempted and gave to
-
her husband, who immediately, did y'all hear the words, immediately
-
rebelled against God.
-
So guess what happened right there? Watch this? You saved
-
and you sanctified. You feel what the holy goes with
-
a mighty burning fire. And here comes this heazing. You
-
have been single, sister Lane for a long time. Come
-
this sign, hunker for man. He ain't saved. He's corheersing you.
-
He's filling you up with words, he's buying.
-
You stuff take, trying to get you to the vantaged point.
-
He gets you to the vantashed point. You saved. Now
-
he comes over eleven o'clock at night with an excuse.
-
I just needed somebody to talk to. I'm feeling down.
-
You know what happened before you know it, I just
-
need somebody to hold me. And you're holding it. He's
-
holding you, you holding him. He started crashing. You start
-
crashing because you want him to calm down. Then he
-
foundly raises up and he he just kissed you on
-
the neck.
-
Then he kiss you on the jaw, and then he
-
kiss you in the mouth, and then before you know it,
-
you're hula hooping.
-
So what just happened. I'm gonna tell you what happened.
-
Two souls. He got a two for one. The devil
-
got a two for one.
-
Right there. Two now rebelled against God.
-
See when Eve was deceived and took from the fruit
-
and did eat, and she gave the atom, he a troice.
-
He shouldn't have did it. Only one soul was lost
-
at that point.
-
But the enemy got two for one, and he too
-
sinned against God. So now.
-
That they both have rebelled against God, now he got
-
two for one. And now that comes and accountability. Now
-
that comes accountability. Now there comes accountability. You can't sin
-
without accountability, because your sin will find you out. Y'all've
-
heard your sin will find you out right, But did
-
y'all know that was scriptures. Let's turn the numbers, chapter
-
thirty two.
-
And verse.
-
Twenty. They started twenty two. It's gonna hit us in
-
twenty three. But let's start at thirty twenty two, thirty
-
two and twenty two. Yall ready, yall ready, amen. Twenty
-
two says, and the Lord be subdued before.
-
The Lord, and the land, and the land.
-
Be subdued before the Lord. Then afterward you shall return
-
and be guiltless before the Lord and before Israel, and
-
this land shall be your possession before the Lord. But
-
if you will not do so, behold you have sinned
-
against the Lord. And be sure your sin will find
-
you out.
-
Is a scripture? Did God said? Did I make it up?
-
God said it you'll sin, We'll find you out.
-
Because there is no sin. There is no such thing
-
as a secret sin. People tell you that, yeah, your
-
secret sins.
-
You ain't got those secret sins because you know, because
-
you know why. It ain't a secret because you know it.
-
You know why. Also, it's not a sin because God
-
knows it.
-
And Adam and evalated the know no own will of God.
-
So now comes God as he always did in the
-
cool of the day. But when they heard God coming
-
this time, I said, this time. They hear him come
-
many times there wasn't no problem. But when they heard
-
him coming this time they hid from God. Why because
-
sin separates us from God and our best selves, our
-
best selves, it separates from it separate rates us from
-
others as well. Sin ruptures our relationships with God definitely
-
and with other people, and it.
-
Cuts us off from God.
-
Sin makes us uncomfortable in the temple of God at
-
prayer and in worship, we feel strange in God's presence.
-
You don't watch people. I can see.
-
Everybody from my prayer when the church not being a
-
church and is full, and I'll be going forth in
-
the word.
-
They uncomfortable. He's squirming in their seat.
-
They know they've been sinning all week and the Word
-
going forth hitting them like thunder, and they squirming in
-
the If they ain't squirming, they going straight to Hell
-
because they ain't got no God sins at all. They
-
just they just got a wall up.
-
But they squirming in their seat and tell Lord, thank you,
-
I thank you, Lord, thank you, thank you. Give him
-
some praise. See, they got this look on their face.
-
They're thinking about all the crap they've been doing. Seeing
-
make you.
-
Uncomfortable in God's house, saying make you uncomfortable in the.
-
Presence of God's people. If people are amongst you and
-
they ain't uncomfortable, you better check yourself. Sining is not
-
comfortable in the presence of God. And if the God
-
being you and.
-
People are comfortable in your presence, comfortable cussing, comfortable doing it.
-
I got people that work for me, and they'll say
-
they'll say a word of profanityes I'm sorry.
-
I'm sorry, Miss Thomas.
-
I it just came out like that man's that's because
-
they see and know the God in me, don't. They
-
don't go for that. They don't get it twisted. I
-
go to customers out there, they cussing. It worked, come
-
out they mouth, and then you know what I do.
-
My wife told me, oh, yeah, do that. I said, yeah,
-
I do that all the time because I'm tired of hearing.
-
I said, well, I tell them my name is Charles.
-
And then when they get doing all their cussing and
-
I see they won't stop, I said, well, I'm actually
-
Pastor Charles.
-
They said, oh, oh, I'm sorry. I ain't me. Oh Lord,
-
I mean cussing. I said, don't be sorry. I understand.
-
I take the respect. But God heard you. That's what
-
I tell them. God heard you. Don't put me above God.
-
I tell that, don't put me above God. I said,
-
God heard you. Now I ain't wanna keep hearing that mess.
-
But God heard you. He the one you got to
-
repent to.
-
You can apologize to me, but you need to repent
-
to Him. So God, as he always did with them
-
and with us, he walks with us. But when we do,
-
like even Adam and he did, he separates from us.
-
And if you really into him, you can feel the separation.
-
Sometimes that don't get in twisted though. Sometimes that loneliness
-
don't mean he gone.
-
And it's at that time.
-
Where you really check yourself. And said, why am I
-
feeling the presence of God? And he said, well, I've
-
been doing everything God told me to.
-
He's there. But if you check yourself.
-
And you found well, I did cut something such out
-
and I did tell what's the name of golda heal?
-
And I was mad it was that's why, No, he
-
ain't He ain't there. This is a lonely feeling because
-
he ain't there. Because sin makes sense. If sin is
-
not uncomfortable in your presence, there's something wrong. You better
-
check yourself. Hey, man, check yourself. That's why Adam and
-
Eve tried to hide from God. They were uncomfortable. This
-
was the second This, this emotion that they felt was
-
one of the second emotions recorded in the Bible, fear
-
due to sin, because they never had fear before, because
-
they never had sin before.
-
So God confronted at him and Adam blamed the woman.
-
See when God confronted at him. Because I'm telling you,
-
when you're seeing God gonna confront you, whether you're listening
-
to it or not, he confronts you. The Holy Spirit
-
is going to confront you before even after, because you
-
might not.
-
Hear him before because you're really at a rage. But
-
he gonna confront you after. If you really been with
-
God and you got a connection.
-
When you sin, he's gonna confront you. And when He
-
confronts you, that's what he did. He confronted at.
-
Him about his sin. When God confronts you, you must
-
confess it.
-
When God confronts you with the sin, you must confess
-
at that time and not blame.
-
Confess, not blame, not make excuses. I slapped him because
-
they slapped me. Lord, I cussed her out. She called
-
me a bee, so I called her one. No, you
-
confess it afterwards. That's not what Adam and he did.
-
Adam was confronted with the sin by God, and so
-
was he. Neither one of them confessed it. They both blamed.
-
They blamed the woman, blamed the serpent. Adam blamed the woman.
-
He didn't try. He did not only blame the woman,
-
and then she did. Not only blame the serpent, but
-
both of them blame God. That's why I'm telling you today,
-
the innocence of God and the guilt of man.
-
You can't blame God.
-
And the serpent when he was asked, but he wasn't
-
ask But God knew what happened, so he didn't even
-
ask the serpent because he knew who the deceiver was.
-
So neither Adam or Eve, neither one of them took
-
responsibility for the sin and the rebellion against God. Neither
-
one of them took responsibility for their sins.
-
They just blamed not just who and what, but God,
-
as some people still do today. God, if you this God,
-
while you do that, God, why you allow that to happen?
-
Blaming God? They blaming God? They still blame in God today,
-
that said Adam Nature still blaming God. Today.
-
I said, some have some head and some have the haves,
-
still blaming God.
-
The head the has no God. And know not to.
-
Blame God, because God will show them this is what
-
your problem is. So now here comes judgment, because it
-
comes after sin.
-
First the serpent. Enmity was put between the serpent and humanity.
-
He is now the enemy. So now we are in
-
conflict with an enemy. We don't have an enemy at first,
-
but because of the fall of man, we got enemy.
-
The devil was.
-
Always our enemy, but he wasn't an enemy, you understand
-
I'm saying. But when man failed, they ain't got enemy
-
in the world, and his name is Satan. Then the
-
woman cursed.
-
Would be pre pain would be multiplied, pain both in
-
childbirth and in.
-
Then I'm dominion over her by her husband. Then comes
-
the man.
-
God cursed the man by striking the very nerve of
-
man's existence.
-
What was that his work? His work?
-
Now, don't get it wrong, but I want you to
-
understand that work is not a curse because in the
-
beginning God placed man in the garden to cultivate.
-
And curate. That's called work.
-
Work was given to man before the fall. But now
-
he will strain in the work that he has now.
-
Act, he didn't have.
-
To sweat over the work before. Now he got the
-
sweat over the work that he does. See, the curse
-
was placed up on the ground. Verse seventeen tells us
-
that the result of the curse is twelve and thorns
-
and thistles is a result of the curse because you
-
didn't have that in the garden. And when he was out,
-
kicked out of the garden, now he got to deal
-
with that, and the animals were cursed. Everything on earth
-
was cursed when Adam did what he did.
-
But the ultimate curse.
-
Was from dust you are, and to dust you shall return.
-
Because we have to understand.
-
Prior to the fall, there was no mention of death,
-
as I told you, but there was a clear promise
-
of eternal life. That's what was in the beginning, a
-
clear promise of eternal life.
-
But after the fall death.
-
Because one of the trees in the garden was a
-
tree of life.
-
Here's what God's mercy kicks in.
-
But even after what they did in rebelling against God,
-
he still showed his mercy to them.
-
He drove them first out of the garden. That was mercy.
-
Why he drove them out of the garden, that was mercy.
-
That was an act of mercy from God for the
-
both of their wives, so that they would not eat
-
of the tree of life and lived forever in a
-
dying world, because it would be hell on earth to
-
live in a degenerating body forever.
-
But God gave hope still through Adam.
-
When you're reading verses twenty and twenty one, where he says,
-
and Adam called his wife name Eve, because she was
-
the mother of all living.
-
So he gave life.
-
And to Adam also and to his wife did the
-
Lord God make coats of skins and clothe them. So
-
there was the grace and mercy of God. See what
-
he called woman Eve, which means the mother of all living.
-
So he did not destroy all of mankind. But every
-
time bird comes from a woman's a sign that of
-
life for humanity. So every time a child is born,
-
it is one more bit of evidence that God has
-
not given up on mankind, because he allows life to
-
keep coming. And the other hope was in verse fifteen.
-
It promised that through a woman.
-
The defeat of evil would eventually come, and so it did.
-
Through marry came Jesus Christ, the hope of glory and
-
the defeat of evil and triumph triumph of good. So
-
through Jesus Christ the hope of glory.
-
Which is the hope that we look to, that we
-
can live eternally again with God.
-
Amen.
-
So in conclusion, we cannot return to Eton, but we
-
can enter the Kingdom of God. The new eaton described
-
in Revelations, chapter twenty one, as a paradise regained just
-
as surely as Adam and Eve once lived in the
-
paradise of God and in daily communion with Him.
-
One day, one day, we don't know when, but one.
-
Day you and I by fate, in the Lord Jesus
-
Christ and the cross we were in, in the presence
-
of God, to enjoy his fellowship forever. If if now
-
we turn from sin, Amen, if we turn, it's a condition.
-
We can lay with him. We can, we can roll
-
with or walk in the cool of the day with him.
-
If we turn from sin, we can. And this is
-
his story and he's sticking to it.
-
Amen, you God a hand clever praise. Amen.
-
Amen, God has done all he's gonna do. God said,
-
is I turn? It's our turn.
