It's a thing that people don't understand about these gods,
-
that people these these uh, these gods, and these idols
-
they make them. God always was and always will be
-
the idol that you made. Something you came up with.
-
Our law is something they came up with. It ain't
-
It was not always Joe Witnesses, Baptists. They all made
-
it up. As I've said many times, that God did
-
not give us denomination.
-
He gave a salvation.
-
The nomination was given by the devil to man, and
-
he took hold of it.
-
You want me to prove that to you.
-
I want somebody to find in the Bible, where Jesus
-
was a Baptist.
-
Find where he was Church of God in Christ.
-
Find where he was Catholic, Find where he was Church
-
of Christ.
-
Find where he was Joe Witness. Find it for me,
-
and I believe it.
-
Until then, denomination was given by the devil to man
-
who received it.
-
The Bible said.
-
That God didn't call us to be denominational.
-
He called us to be holy. That's what he called
-
us to be.
-
And since Jesus, we claim, is our example, who God
-
sent to be our example, then that's who I should
-
be following shouldn't I I should not be following denomination.
-
I should be following Jesus Christ salvation and not denomination.
-
You gotta understand, we don't think about this stuff. We
-
just get emotional and we're gonna go here? Are we
-
gonna go there? Most folks are not in the House
-
of God for the purpose of Jesus Christ.
-
Anyway, I'm gonna.
-
Go to that church because there's one hundred thousand people
-
in there, and I can hide in that church. See
-
the hide They go to Joelo's Thing's church because they
-
can hide for the most part. And he don't preach
-
against their filthy life.
-
And he's not a preacher.
-
I told y'all that a long time ago, and then
-
it came into fluition where he came on TV and
-
told her about I'm not a preacher. I'm a motivated speaker.
-
I told y'all that a long time. God gave me
-
that a long time ago, and I told y'all, bet
-
I said, he ain't no preacher, He's a motivated speaker.
-
And he himself contested to it with his own mouth,
-
just like TD Jakes.
-
And all these other people.
-
You see these big ministries and you think what a
-
wonderful work he's doing.
-
Look at all them people.
-
Look at all them people who are being led to hell.
-
That's what I see. Jesus had twelve people.
-
In his church. Two of them were jacked up. I
-
always say for every twelve to jacked up. So just
-
think about if you got ten thousand, eighteen thousand members,
-
thinking of how many are jacked up. These churches are
-
not all God's houses, and folks go to differ. I'm
-
gonna go to this church because this preacher is well renown,
-
known as a lady that I did some work for.
-
Recently.
-
She goes to a big congregational church. As a matter
-
of fact, the pastor preachers at three churches on Sunday.
-
And she brought him up.
-
She wished she had in the though, but she did
-
bring him up. While I was in her house putting
-
a new floor in her kitchen, and she brought him up.
-
I said, oh, you talking about that heathen. I said,
-
your past.
-
Is a heathen.
-
Now some would say that was right, but that ain't
-
what the Bible say.
-
That's what they say.
-
The Bible tell me to expose them, so I do.
-
Feelings can't take it.
-
Well, well, well, well, and then I can tell you
-
because her pastor is a heathing. As a matter of fact,
-
I did it wasn't strained. I did some work for
-
another member of his. No, what she said, I don't.
-
Know why our pastor has to take up so much money.
-
He asked us for so much money. My Bible say
-
bring an offering. It is bank say brings so much money.
-
That's what my Bible say. My Bible say what God said,
-
because God said it. Because all scripture, as the Bible say,
-
is given by the.
-
Inspiration of God.
-
So everything they wrote was wrote by the inspiration of God.
-
And then you got these idiots.
-
Running around talking about all the white man wrote that.
-
What not one white man in that room, the King
-
James put another righte to King James verd not one.
-
The delusion of the world and the system that it
-
tells you and gave you from time back, we've been
-
believing a whole lot of stuff that was never.
-
Right concerning the Bible. Why because we don't read it.
-
We listened to the preacher, We listened to the pastors,
-
We listened to the prophet or the false prophet that
-
speaks to the people on the radio on TV.
-
He got a great ministry, does he? Does he? There
-
was a time when people of.
-
God were rescued by God using Moses out of Egypt.
-
Amen and millions, not just a few, came out of Egypt.
-
But when the Egyptians saw that, some of them left
-
with the Israelites. See, the devil was always trying to
-
work his work inside of God's house. So when God's
-
people left Egypt, some of the Egyptians left too. So
-
when they get out there, that's why they wandered for
-
forty years when it's only should have.
-
Took two to three weeks to make it to the Promised.
-
Land because of their disobedience and following man instead of God.
-
Hey, man, following God's word. So what happens?
-
So they got a great, big church. Right, So there's
-
a lot of people. But in the wilderness, when Moses
-
came down and the people were worshiping an idol, and
-
Moses said, whoever's on the Lord's side, come over here,
-
don't you know, a whole nation of people. The earth
-
opened up and swallowed them. So because there's a lot
-
of folks, that don't mean it's right. As a matter
-
of fact, the number was two hundred and fifty thousand
-
was swallowed up in the earth, claiming.
-
They were following who Moses was following wasn't. So let's
-
look at something.
-
All of this is because of this, of this scripture
-
here in the Book of Proverbs, chapter fourteen.
-
Get your bibles. I hope you got your bible. We're
-
gonna see.
-
We're gonna see a few scriptures here because it's prevalent
-
that you know this is what the Bible says and
-
not what the pastor says.
-
And know that the pastor is only repeating what God
-
has already said. Amen, it ain't gonna bother men. Let's
-
look at Proverbs fourteen, and when you get there and
-
say amen, Amen. All right. Now, let's look at verse twelve.
-
I wanna look at verse twelve, and I'm gonna have
-
sister Cassidy stand.
-
Up and read that, so y'all won't say it came
-
from me.
-
Fourteen and you get there, say, man, wait till we
-
all there out here, pages turning.
-
I want everybody to see it.
-
Proverbs fourteen and verse twelve.
-
Are we there? Let's read.
-
Person?
-
All right? Thank you?
-
Uh, Sister Lisa, can you read that from me? Sister Lane,
-
can you read that from me? Ye, Sister Chelsea, can
-
you read that from me? Suster Brenda, can you read
-
that from me? Proverbs chapter fourteen and verse twelve, Brother Merrick.
-
And while you get in that, we gonna have my
-
little niece read that. Proverbs chapter fourteen, verse twelve. Stand
-
when you read, say your voice will project you notice
-
some bibles read different, but the last word is the same,
-
brother married, Chapter fourteen of Proverbs, verse twelve. You got
-
your glasses, brother, Proverbs fourteen and twelve.
-
There's a way which seems to me a man at
-
the end, therefore.
-
Are the way that hey man, would our visitors like
-
to read that verse? I'm sorry, Proverbs, same thing you
-
just read.
-
Amen.
-
Now the reason that young man right there setting beside
-
let him Let him read it? Brother, brother, Let that
-
young man read it. How is I'm sorry that?
-
How is your daughter? Okay?
-
She can't read it yet, I'm not saying she can't
-
read I I have a reason why I know she
-
can read it.
-
Go ahead, sair. Amen.
-
Now, there's a reason why I wanted each and every
-
one and you. The first reason is because God inspired
-
me to do that. And the reason why I believe
-
He inspired me to do that is because each and
-
every one of you saw it with your own eyes.
-
You had you to read it, and you spoke it
-
with your own mouth, hey man. And then after you
-
did that, you heard it with your own ears. So
-
that in a sense says you accountable because you read it,
-
you saw it.
-
And you heard it. You did it.
-
You read it, you spoke it into your own ears
-
and eyes.
-
And this is how.
-
Scripture Jesus the Word of God gets in us. We
-
read it, we see it, and it comes into our eyes.
-
The Bible said, the eyes of the mirror to our soul.
-
So you spoke.
-
It, it went in your ear, so it went down
-
in your spirit and into your soul. You did it,
-
and that causes a growth of the word of God
-
to come into your body. But there's still something left
-
to do even after all of that, to accept it,
-
to live it.
-
That's what's next. To accept it and to live it. Amen.
-
So the Bible says, there is a way that seems
-
right to a man, but.
-
Therefore are the ways of death.
-
So the right way is Jesus Christ and him crucified.
-
Amen. That's the right way.
-
And the reason why this scripture comes into fluition for
-
us today is because we need to be sure sure,
-
We need to.
-
Be sure they're sure, and make no mistake, because the
-
mistake of.
-
Believing that you saved and you're not during the rapture
-
gonna cost you your life. Y'all saw the movie I
-
told you to watch, Those that watched it, what did
-
the little girl say setting in the front row in
-
that movie when the rapture hit, all those folks that
-
were left behind, and all those folks that was It
-
came on a Sunday where folks should have been in
-
the face of God collectively, but they weren't. People all
-
over the world don't do that because they have other
-
gods they serve, And even those in God's house have
-
other gods they serve besides God. See what you gotta
-
understand is everybody setting in the house of God not
-
serving God. The rapture gonna prove that. That's why you
-
have to make no mistake. So in the movie that
-
I told you all to watch, the girl who was
-
of accountability, probably was say seventeen eighteen years old, sat
-
there on the front row when the rapture came. All
-
those people were left in the church, left behind didn't
-
get the gold and be with the Lord.
-
She said this. She made a mistake.
-
Because her word was this, I thought I was saved,
-
she said, I thought I was saved. See, you can't
-
think you saved. You gotta know you saved. You gotta
-
know that you know that you know you saved. I've
-
been preaching this this type of message because this word
-
God is alluding to for each and every one of us.
-
I not talking about each of every one of us
-
in here. I'm talking about each and every one of
-
us claiming Jesus Christ is our Lord and savior. I'm
-
talking about those who are right now listening because we broadcast,
-
we're on the air right now, and all over the
-
world they're hearing this message. And I'm talking to each
-
and every one of them. By the way of the God,
-
of the Lord, our God. You make no mistake. You
-
cannot say at the end of it all, I thought
-
I was saved, because at that point you are miss heaven.
-
So you have to really be sure of your eternal salvation.
-
Aymen, It's very important. This is a.
-
Very important question to each and every one of us.
-
Are you really sure of your salvation? Are you? This
-
is a question. This ain't for you to answer to me.
-
This is for you to answer to yourself.
-
Are you really sure of your eternal salvation? Why you're
-
asking us that? Because we at the end of it all.
-
That's why look at the world.
-
Everything the Bible say is gonna happen in the end
-
time before Jesus comes and raptures us.
-
Is happening now. I can'tnot tell you.
-
I don't know how many times I'm gonna tell you,
-
but I'm gonna keep telling you.
-
They're doing the last thing. Just about now.
-
They're trying to build a temple in Jerusalem. The Bible says,
-
once they build that temple, the Antichrist.
-
Gonna enter end. When that happens, the door about to
-
open and shut, he gonna go in the temple.
-
He gonna make all of them people believe he God,
-
and then he's gonna be revealed.
-
Amen.
-
That's why the question is, are you really sure of
-
your eternal salvation? It is a very very important question
-
and one that will have lasting eternal consequences, lasting eternal consequence.
-
What did he say to the man, I got.
-
A thousand dollars, You saw it trying to give it
-
to the preacher.
-
What the preacher gonna do.
-
The preacher missed the rapture too, you're giving it to
-
the wrong person. He ain't gone. You came back and
-
he told him. You can't buy your way into this.
-
You gotta live this.
-
So you got to be sure.
-
Here's another question if if it's conditional, Hey man, are
-
you listening. If you would have died today, do you
-
know for certain that you would go to heaven.
-
It's a question for you to answer to yourself.
-
It was a lady in the church that used to
-
go to Mother I forgot her name, Mother something. She
-
sat on the third road, right there on the corner,
-
and every time she would come to the House of God.
-
Before she's getting them doors, you could hear her praise God, God,
-
glog glorys Hallujah, Hallujah, praise it Hallujah.
-
That before she.
-
Even came through the doors, and she was setting there
-
single I'm ready, I'm ready. And one Sunday when she
-
came in with that and sat there and said I'm ready,
-
God took her, sitting right there in the third row,
-
I'm ready, I'm ready, Hallujah praise him.
-
She was sure.
-
As far as I know, without question, Hey man, But
-
do you know for certain that you will go to
-
heaven if you died right now? You see when the
-
Bible says, no man know the day or the hour.
-
I told you a long time ago that hour part
-
got me. That means at any minute of any day,
-
at any time, he can call you. He can call
-
you right now, He can call you when the sermon ends.
-
He can call you when you walk out that door
-
to the to your car. He can call you whenever
-
he got the he one got, the got the number,
-
he the one got the time.
-
We don't know.
-
He knows and he know when he gonna call you,
-
but we don't. And since we don't know, we need
-
to be sure. We ready to go and be with
-
the law. You see this question right here.
-
We cannot afford afford. We cannot afford to be wrong.
-
You can be wrong about anything else you want to
-
be wrong about, but that's right here, This, right here,
-
you cannot afford to be wrong about. You can say
-
it's blue and it's really purple because you've seen it
-
from a far off.
-
You can say.
-
It's blue because it's nighttime. It may look black. You
-
can be wrong, but you can't be wrong.
-
About this question. Here. You can't be wrong about this,
-
and one.
-
Day each each of us will know the true answer
-
to this question. But see, I don't won't to wait
-
till that one day you understand, because that one day
-
might be too late. I want to know now. I
-
want to be for sure now, right now that I'm assured.
-
And only way I can know for sure is I
-
have to stay focused. I have to stay focused on
-
my life. See, I only have one life to live.
-
Let me say that again.
-
I only have one life to live. What does it mean?
-
I can't live yours, your, your, your, your, your, and yours.
-
I can only live mine and you can't live mine.
-
You can only live yours. But there's people who try
-
to live their life and your life, you know me,
-
people always trying to tell you what you need, what's
-
good for you, what's best for you, where to go,
-
when to go, who you need all that's the right
-
man for you, that's the right woman for you. No,
-
I make that decision because this the life God gave
-
me to live, and only I'm going to live it
-
according to him.
-
Amen.
-
So you have to be assured that you're living the
-
life of God the way God plans for you.
-
To live it. Amen. The word planning is very important
-
because this is the plan right here. You see. See
-
this ain't like the test in school. Not only in school.
-
Can you take an open book test. You can take
-
open book tests, but they ain't gonna point to the
-
answers out there. No but God to give your open
-
book tests and point to the answers. So you gotta
-
be sure yourself to this question and your answer to
-
this question. You should be the one to know that answer.
-
I don't know, only you know. And the way you're
-
gonna know is.
-
The way you live your life. You have.
-
These are the instructions right here how to live your life.
-
These are the instructions right here. This is how you
-
live your life. You gotta follow the instructions to do
-
it right. I recently put together on while I don't
-
know what that thing is called its desk or whatever,
-
for my daughter, and it was five hundred thousand pieces
-
to it with after directions, I couldn't have done it.
-
And here's another thing. You have to follow the directions
-
to the t I was watching and following the directions,
-
but I missed something and I had to take the
-
thing apart. Why Because I didn't follow it correctly.
-
Y'all, don't hear what I'm saying.
-
I had to take it apart, take the whole top
-
off of it, and start all over again.
-
Why Because I couldn't see.
-
There was a part in that directions that I missed,
-
and so I had to take it apart again and
-
start all over.
-
I thought I thought I was following the structures. I
-
thought I was following instructions. I thought I was saved.
-
But you got to know for sure.
-
And when I looked at it, and I kept looking
-
at it, I.
-
Said, I'm wrong with this picture. That's how you gotta do. You.
-
You gotta look at you and look at you, and
-
you gotta know yourself some wrong with this picture. So
-
I knew right away before I went any further, let
-
me look back at these directions. And when I look
-
back at the directions, I saw where error. There's a
-
way that seemed right to a man, But therefore are
-
the ways of death. Because the reason why this scripture
-
says that the way it does is because your way
-
may seem right, but your.
-
Way is not God's way.
-
So your way is wrong. See your way your way?
-
Bible said a way that seemed right to a man.
-
Your way is not God's way. Your will is not
-
God's will. Your thoughts are not God's thoughts.
-
Hey man, until you make them, until.
-
You not me, I can't make them. You have to
-
make them. See when the Bible says let this mind
-
be in you, there was also in Christ Jesus. Jesus
-
is telling you that's something you gotta do. I'm not
-
just gonna take my mind and put it in you.
-
You gonna have to let it be in you. It's
-
something you got to go after. That's what Paul says,
-
I stretch forth.
-
You gotta go forth.
-
You gotta go forth with your own mind, seeking God
-
yourself to live the life which is holy that he
-
called us to live.
-
Amen. So we understand.
-
That we all, every one of us, nobody is exempt,
-
are gonna stand before the judgment seat of Jesus Christ,
-
all of us, every one of us are nobody's gonna
-
miss it.
-
Every one of us have two appointments.
-
Every one of us has two appointments, and these two
-
appointments has already been made for each.
-
And every one of us. You ain't gotta make it.
-
You ain't got to call and say I need to
-
be seen on Thursday next week. These two appointments have
-
already been made for us, and we will definitely keep them.
-
You will not be able to call in, You will.
-
Not be able to say I'm sick, I can't make it.
-
You will not be able to reschedule. You will definitely,
-
every one of us will definitely keep disappointment, whether we
-
want to or not. And those appointments, as it is
-
appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,
-
those are the two appointments every one of us.
-
Is appointed to die.
-
The second appointment is going to be judgment after we die.
-
And Hebrews nine to twenty seven it says these two
-
appointments and judgment cannot be canceled. See the understanding of
-
no man knows the day of the hour.
-
We looked back.
-
In a lot of times uh in in in the
-
years past, like in New York, Washington, d C. And Shakersville, Pennsylvania,
-
where these multiple deaths happened Amen due to the plane
-
crashes and these uh Kama cozies and these terrorists, they
-
didn't know they was gonna fly them planes into them buildings.
-
They was at.
-
Work kicking it, at work on break doing whatever they do,
-
drinking coffee, and then all of a sudden, two planes
-
flew into the Twin Towers. A plane flew into the Pentagon,
-
a plane flew into Pennsylvania.
-
They didn't know. They didn't know. The daidy owl and
-
thousands died.
-
Just the other day in Lexington, Kentucky, was a mass shooting.
-
They didn't know it was a mass shooting coming. They
-
was gonna be killed.
-
They didn't know those mass shootings in the schools were
-
gonna come.
-
They didn't know. See, you don't know the day of
-
the hour.
-
These things can happen at any time, and your life
-
is gonna be required in you and your soul is
-
gonna be judged. Now you're hearing what I'm saying. That's
-
why you have to be sure. Can you like the
-
little girl in the movie, I thought I was saying,
-
she found out the hard way, I mean a really
-
hard way, that she was not saved.
-
You don't make the rapture. You know where you're going,
-
don't you no coming out? See God don't have a
-
halfway house. That's either heaven or Hell. He don't have
-
a halfway house.
-
You has no where where you can be in between.
-
And if you act bad, you're gonna go ahead and
-
go to hell. You stay good, you're gonna go to heaven. No,
-
I ain't a halfway house. You either going to heaven
-
or hell. And you need to.
-
Be as sure of your eternal salvation.
-
Why because this is what we are making, no mistake,
-
this is what we're living in right now. Things are
-
happening on a daily basis. Oh, a little baby in
-
Memphis was shot just the other day.
-
That little baby didn't know he's gonna die. Another little baby,
-
six years.
-
Old, left on a bus died the Paris center of
-
the school.
-
Hoping for her to come back home, didn't happen.
-
No man know the daddy hour, young girl. I know
-
daddy came to visit her from Atlanta in Memphis. On
-
his way back home to Atlanta, he died on the highway.
-
He don't matter where you are.
-
It's not promise you gonna be in a comfortable spot
-
when you die.
-
Young man, I was looking at here.
-
He was a prominent winner on the talent show on TV.
-
And got in a car wreck and die. Didn't even
-
get to go through the whole thing, but was looking
-
forward to it. We don't know the day of the hour.
-
People, we need to get our life right with the
-
Lord Jesus Christ. For the scripture says, even when God
-
tells us in Book James, chapter four and fourteen, whereas
-
you do not know what will happen tomorrow.
-
For what is your life? What is your life? It
-
is even as a vapor that appears for a.
-
Little time and then vanishes away. No man knows the
-
day of the hour. That's in Matthew twenty four and
-
thirty six, But.
-
In James four and fourteen. It's a very powerful scripture
-
here your life is a vapor.
-
What are we talking about here in four and fourteen?
-
The Book of the Lord tells us in fourteen, whereas
-
you know not what shall be on.
-
Themorrow, So in other word, we don't know. We don't know.
-
It says, whereas you know not what shall be on
-
the morrow, that's a fact that we don't.
-
While God does, we don't. Then it goes on to say,
-
for what is your life?
-
What is your life? Making plans without God's proclaiming It
-
is even a vapor. It is even, it says, a
-
vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
-
So if the Lord right here where it says it
-
is even a vapor, it is evil.
-
The word even is what we really linger on.
-
Why because when it says it is even a vapor
-
that appears for a little time and then vanishes away,
-
what does this mean?
-
It means if the Lord doesn't guide your life, then
-
your life is a waste a vapor. It's a waste.
-
Hey, man, we must not make an error concerning our
-
salvation and following what seems right to us are.
-
That we feel in our heart that we are saved.
-
The Bible says in Proverbs fourteen and twelve, there is
-
a way that seems right to a man, but it's in.
-
Is the way of death.
-
Our feelings are not safeguarded our life.
-
I say that early in Sunday School.
-
Our feelings are not a safeguard, but only the Bible is.
-
Your feelings ain't a safe God. See, whatever prior assumptions
-
you have already made about your own salvation, many of
-
these assumptions that people make contradict. Many assumptions that people
-
make contradict what the Word of God says.
-
Amen. And if it contradicts what the Word of God says,
-
then you in error. Amen.
-
See, all you got to do is look around, and
-
you can find the contradictions, amen, and the contradictions they
-
don't line up to God. All you got to do
-
is look around at all the many y'all hear me. Now,
-
y'all listening, pay attention. I'm gonna tell you what you
-
got to look around for. All you gotta look around
-
for is all of the many different doctrines, all the doctrines.
-
That are being in talk.
-
And then compare them to what God says in the Bible,
-
and we can see a great difference.
-
And what are you looking around at?
-
The Baptists have a different doctrine, The Catholic have a
-
different doctrine. Church of God in Christ have a different doctrine.
-
All these denominations have denominational doctrines which are not God's doctrine.
-
This is what you're looking around for. That's what the
-
Bible says.
-
All of these different denominations have different doctrines. They have
-
a denominational doctrine and they have a man's doctrine. And
-
a lot of Baptists people have a theological doctrine because
-
they were with the theologianal.
-
Schools and that.
-
Teaches theology, and the Bible is not theology, right. Scientology
-
teaches a different doctrine. They teach how they can explain
-
the miracles of God. And I told you last time.
-
Every time they try to explain the miracles God, they'll
-
need them giving glory.
-
That's all they do.
-
Scientology says, back in the days when Moses lifted up
-
the rod, and God parted the sea, and they walked
-
across on drag ground, theologists say.
-
Scientists say that in the.
-
Red Sea, at a part of the Red Sea, at
-
a certain time of the year, the water is only
-
three feet tall, and when the wind blows strong, it
-
can part the water, bounce off the banks, and dry
-
the land.
-
This is with theology.
-
Scientology tells, they people, but when they get through ministry
-
that they forget one thing, how glorious.
-
They just make God again because he.
-
Drowned a whole army of horses and men and three
-
feet of water.
-
When you get through, try and explain it.
-
Amen, you see the Lord, our God, says in the
-
Book of Marcus seven and seven, it says, and in
-
vain matter of fact, let's look at mark.
-
Mark, chapter seven and verse seven. Now I'm not gonna
-
wait on you, but you can get there.
-
Mark chapter seven and verse seven. Matter of fact, let's
-
look at it. Said a lord says this in the
-
book of Mark seven, and in vain they worship me
-
teaching the doctrines, that commandments of men.
-
This is God saying this.
-
He knows that they teaching the commandments of men and
-
not teaching His doctrine.
-
The folks the commandments of men, so they worship. It's
-
in vain.
-
So in Mark chapter seven, after he starting in verse one,
-
then came together to him the Pharisees and are.
-
Certain of the scribes which came from Jerusalem.
-
And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread
-
with the file, that is to say, with unwashed hands,
-
they found fault for the Pharisees and all the Jews,
-
except they washed their hands, often eat not, holding the
-
traditions of the elders, these adoptions of men. And when
-
they came from the market, except they washed, they eat not.
-
And many other things there be which they have received
-
to hold, as the washing, washing of cups and pots, basins, vessels,
-
and of tables. Then the Phariseeson scribes ask him, they
-
walk not. If they ask him, why walk not? Your
-
disciples according to the traditions of the elders, but eat
-
bread with unwashed hands.
-
Now, these are the doptions of me that they're talking about.
-
He answered, and said, unto them, well, has it has
-
Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites?
-
Call them hypocrites? He says, as it is written this.
-
People honor me with their lips, but their hearts is
-
far from me.
-
Have that in vain? He says?
-
Do they worship me teaching for the doctrines and the
-
commandments of men? For laying aside the commandments of God?
-
They lay that aside. You hold traditions of men, as
-
the washing of pots and cups, and many other such
-
like things.
-
You do you hold that, dear to you, but not
-
God's doctrines. You hold the.
-
Doctrines of baptism, the doctrines of all these denominations, but
-
not the ones I give you. You don't hold my
-
doctrine there, dear you. It's what he's saying, and he's said,
-
unto them, full well, you reject the commandment of God
-
that you may keep your own traditions for teaching the
-
doctrine of men. You want, you want to keep what
-
you made up. You want to keep what God said?
-
Do you want to keep how God say?
-
Live?
-
You wanna keep what you made up? And your worship
-
is in vain? God says, if it comes from men
-
and not from God. God is not the author of confusion,
-
Ah the form of man. So where else could you
-
have got that doctrine if.
-
It didn't come from God? You got it from man
-
and man?
-
Where else could they have come from if they did
-
not come from God?
-
This is a very serious question. See, this is why we.
-
Walk around with all these traditional customary things. They have
-
nothing to do with God. But the doctrine of men
-
with men have taught Man has taught people over decades.
-
You know, I always attack this that the pastor is
-
supposed to have.
-
An anniversary every year.
-
Multitude of churches have an anniversary for their pastor. It's
-
not the doctrine of God, it's the doctrine of men.
-
Every year.
-
Seemingly, and I'm being sarcastic, in these ministries, only the
-
preacher and his wife have a birthday. Everybody in church
-
ain't got no birthday. They the only ones got a
-
birthday because they traditionally honor their birthdays.
-
But they don't honor everybody else's birthday. If everybody in.
-
The church honors the pastor's birthday, then everybody in the
-
church out of honor a member's birthday when it comes.
-
But because of the doctrine of men, and then they
-
call his wife the first lady. That's the doctrine of men.
-
She ain't no first lady, she's the pastor's wife.
-
The first lady was Evey Eve Adam did ease she
-
was the first lady.
-
It But because of the doctrines and teachings of men,
-
y'all called the.
-
Pastor's wife the first lady. It's not Bible. It ain't
-
in here. It's not in here.
-
The Bible says she was the first woman, a man
-
who founded the church Jesus. But what do you see
-
on the signs? We got one out there ourselves. They
-
put out there before I came. I'm gonna change it.
-
Don't worry.
-
They got every church got a sign out there and
-
say the founder is doctor so and so, elder so
-
and so, pastor.
-
So and so. It ain't the founder. Jesus said, I
-
founded my church up on this rock. Jesus is the founder.
-
But we've been taught these.
-
Different doctrines of men, and then the church and got
-
in Christ. This is what they do when they want
-
to when they when they want to walk out when
-
the preacher going.
-
You know what that means to me.
-
You trying to excuse yourself and you want everybody to
-
see you.
-
When you puts to be discreet and not cause attention to.
-
Yourself because all the attention is supposed to be focused.
-
On Jesus in the sanctuary of God.
-
As ministry goes forth, Hey man, we take on these
-
traditions and customs. It has nothing to do with God.
-
But where else could you have gotten them from? It's
-
a very serious question. Your worship becomes vain and useless.
-
You in that praising God hallo, Yeah, praise and praise
-
him Hellely, Yeah, that's in.
-
Vain if you're using the doctrines of men.
-
Choir back here singing, fifteen of them, fifteen choir meiggers singing,
-
and only two of.
-
Them saying doctrine of Men.
-
I was setting up in this poet pit one time
-
he was having a funeral, and one of the preachers
-
sat beside me said, that man coming in the door,
-
he's a preacher called him up to this poor pit
-
doctrine of men.
-
I ain't.
-
I told him now, I ain't calling him up here
-
because I don't know him. If I knew him, I
-
knew his life, i'd let him come up in here.
-
As matter of fact. When I turned and looked.
-
At him, I said, you mayby glad you're sitting up here,
-
cause you righting to the core.
-
I told another pastor that was setting up here. I
-
walked over him, was very nice.
-
I said, you need to sit down there with the
-
rest of them, because he needed to be saved and delivered.
-
He called himself a preacher. He's an alcoholic. That's not
-
God doctrine.
-
You see, God give me an eye to see right
-
through you, and I dismissed it. That's why I took
-
all the cheers down from my prayer, put him down there.
-
Ain'tybody suposed to be up here, but the speaker, whoever
-
he may be, whoever our nim to be. That's what
-
it's made for. Everybody's setting up here like their God
-
or something. I ain't never liked that, and pre stting
-
up here with they made fold looking like they ain't
-
got to anticipate in nothing.
-
Prayer come, Prayer.
-
Come, a call. You don't never see preachers come to
-
the altar. You don't see preachers come to the altar.
-
You don't see ministers come to the altar. Folks what
-
were now got names? Call theyself evangelists and all that crap.
-
They don't come to the altar. No, they live in
-
a hell of life like everybody else. You need to
-
be on that altar to be prayed for too.
-
You got women running around the church of my evangelists.
-
So and so.
-
That's a lie, Bishop, Bishop Betty Brown.
-
It's a lie. Doctrine of men.
-
How in the world can you miss that a woman
-
can't be a bishop. The Bible pacimply says that a
-
bishop is a husband.
-
What's a hoodson?
-
Look like you what it looks like the house?
-
Look like a woman. The Bible said it. I'm just
-
repeating it. You're mad, that's your problem. Take it up
-
with God. It said a bishop is a husband of
-
one wife. She can't be no bishop, She ain't no man.
-
A pastor is an overseer as a bishop.
-
She can't be no pastor. She ain't no man.
-
In the scriptures, it wasn't the apostles, it wasn't the prophet.
-
It was Jesus himself who spoke in the Bible. Y'all
-
know it's in read right, and he said he gave
-
a fivefold ministry.
-
See, we keep.
-
Walking around with traditions and customers and doctrines of men,
-
and it ain't got nothing to do with God. And
-
we're gonna go to have behind following these guys. Jesus
-
gave the fivefold ministry apostles, evangelists, preachers, and teachers.
-
There's another one in there.
-
Evangelists, apostles, preachers, and teachers and prophets.
-
Jesus gave that.
-
Guess what he said when he gave it, he said,
-
and I gave it to m N. That sound like
-
w e N, He said, I gave it to m N.
-
So you can't hold those positions unless.
-
You're a man.
-
But traditions and customs of men, they let women hold
-
those positions, they're going to hell. They're gonna be a
-
held accountable.
-
The Bible says it plainly. It don't even you don't
-
even need an angel to come down from heaven. When
-
you read that scripture.
-
You don't need an angel, you don't need a prophet,
-
you don't need a pastor. When you read it, you'll
-
see that Jesus said it. And if Jesus said it,
-
if God said it, it is so, and so it is. Oh,
-
I know, we don't like it because we've been living
-
this life for thirty forty years. Don't matter, you've been
-
living it wrong. That's what's important. There's a way that
-
seems right to a man. But therefore all the ways
-
of death, that scripture, that scripture that ain't Jars Tompkins,
-
that Jesus Christ. So it's a very serious question, very serious.
-
Are you really sure of your eternal salvation? Because guess what,
-
make no mistake, because you won't be there corrected when
-
the rapt sure come.
-
Make no mistake.
-
And your following the traditions of mans causes your worship
-
to become vain.
-
It caused your worship to be useless. It's useless. You
-
stand there singing to God and you ain't saved.
-
You know what God says about folks singing to him.
-
You know what God says about folks praising him. See,
-
we don't notice circle. We don't read the Bible. Say
-
I read the Bible, and it's plain.
-
It ain't something that I got to call on the
-
Holy Gooses, which I already call on the Holy Ghost.
-
So I read it anyway. But you know what the
-
Bible says.
-
He says, the praises of a heathen is an abomination
-
to me?
-
Does God? He said, If you ain't saved and you up.
-
Here trying to sing songs to God, God said, that's
-
an abomination to me.
-
He says, it falls in line with.
-
The same scripture I've told you in Deuteronomy, if a
-
man lay with a woman like If a man lay
-
with another man like a woman, he said, it's an
-
abomination to me. If a man lay with another man
-
like a woman. God says, that's an abomination to me.
-
You know what abomination means. God said, it's nasty. He says,
-
it's the Testable.
-
That's what God says, it's the Testable. To me, I
-
don't like it. So we got to understand something. Anybody
-
can praise.
-
Him, but only the saints of God can worship him.
-
Anybody can praise it, he said, with a rocks cry out.
-
So he said, the birds praise him, the trees praise God,
-
the grass praise God.
-
Doing everything grows straight up.
-
It all praises him and I'm about to come to
-
an end here. See if your doctrine or our doctrines,
-
doctrines come from men. When they meet, you see they
-
have all this stuff too. Y'all know it's true, if
-
your doctrine comes from me. And when they meet in convention,
-
they have all these conventions.
-
They're in there selling all kinds.
-
Some people can't wait till the convention come because they
-
got stuff to sell.
-
They talking about Jesus. The conventional meeting for them, it
-
don't mean Jesus to them.
-
When they had a convention, they bring it all the
-
stuff they want to sell. Before you even go into
-
the place, they got booths set up all around on
-
the outside. They selling books, they selling they selling markers,
-
they selling hats, They selling all kinds of stuff.
-
Ain't about Jesus.
-
At the conventions and the conferences, and when they have
-
these conventions and conferences, not only are they doing all
-
of that mess, what's taking your focus off the fact
-
that you're gathering as a nation of a denomination of
-
people to get in the face of God. Not only that,
-
but in these conferences and in these conventions, when you get.
-
In there, they're deciding something.
-
In these places they're deciding on what you are to
-
believe and do. That's what they're doing because they have
-
the meetings in these conferences. They have meetings in these conferences.
-
They have them in these where they come together Church
-
God Christ comes together in the symbol. And when they
-
have the conventions, they come together to decide. I say,
-
to decide of what to tell you, what to believe in,
-
what to do.
-
This is all you need to believe and do. I
-
don't need to have a conference. I don't need to
-
have a convention. I got my Bible. But these conventions and.
-
Conferences, they ain't really for you.
-
They to make money. They're making money.
-
Ain't no Jesus in these conventions, in these conferences. We
-
got to be like Peter when Peter went to the
-
when Peter went to the convention, when Peter went to
-
the conference, he told the Jewish Council and Acts five
-
and twenty six to twenty nine.
-
Let's look at what let's look at Let's look at
-
what Peter told him when he went to the conference.
-
You know they had them back them days too now,
-
Acts chapter five and starting in verse twenty six, this
-
this what Peter told him at.
-
The conference, at the conference.
-
At the convention, as the apostle Peter told the Jewish
-
Council and Acts, chapter five and verse twenty six.
-
He said to them, then went the.
-
Captain with an officer and brought them without violence, for
-
they feared the people. At least they should have been stoned.
-
And when they had brought them, they set them before
-
the council, and the high priest asked them, the high
-
priest saying, did you not did not we straightly command
-
you that you should not teach in this name? And
-
they ain't even mentioned the name. They ain't even want
-
to say the name. Theirself name was Jesus Christ. And behold,
-
you have failed Jerusalem with your doctrine and intent to
-
bring this man's blood upon us. Then Peters and the
-
other apostles answered and said, we are to obey God
-
rather than man men who you think we all obeyed.
-
That's what Peter was asking. We are to obey God
-
rather than men. So we don't care what y'all. Y'all
-
brought us to this council. Y'all brought us to this convintion.
-
Don't you don't bring me to the convention to tell.
-
Me what to believe? And what to do. I don't
-
obey me and our big God.
-
So while we are told rather are we are to
-
obey God.
-
Rather than man.
-
Do not believe anything that I tell you, because we
-
are not going to be judged about what I say.
-
Do not believe anything any other person tells you. Are
-
your listening, do not believe anything any other person tells you,
-
because we're not going to be judged about what some
-
other person says. In fact, we are not going to
-
be judged about what we personally believe, personally believe.
-
On the day of judgment.
-
We are going to be judged only byt what the
-
Lord says in the Bible. That is going to be
-
the only standard for judgment. For our Lord says himself
-
in Saint John, the Lord himself says in Saint John,
-
chapter twelve and verse forty two, twelve and forty two,
-
this is what the Lord himself says, chapter twelve and
-
verse forty two. And the Lord himself says, Nevertheless, among
-
the chief rulers also many believe on him, but because
-
of the Pharisee, they did not confess him, least they
-
be put out of the synagogue, for they love the
-
praises of men more than the praises of God. Jesus
-
cried and said, he who believe on me believes not
-
on Jesus cried and said, he who believes on me
-
believes not on me, but on him who sent me.
-
And he who sees me sees him who sent me.
-
And I I am come a light into the world,
-
that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness.
-
And if any man heard my words and believe not,
-
I judge him not, For I came not to judge
-
the world, but.
-
To save the world.
-
He who rejects me and receives not my words has
-
one who judged him the words that I have spoken.
-
The same shall judge him in the last day. For
-
I have not spoken of myself, but the Father which
-
sent me, he gave me a commandment what I should
-
say and what I should speak. And I know that
-
his commandment is life everlasting, whatsoever I speak. Therefore, even
-
as the Father said unto me, so I speak, So
-
I speak as well the words of God to you
-
that he spoke. So we come to understand that it's
-
going to be the only standing for judgment, For from
-
our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, is the word that
-
I have spoken would judge him in the last days.
-
Jesus said, the words that I have spoken, the words
-
are gonna judge you in the last days.
-
So if I are.
-
Any other person, So, if I are any other person,
-
cannot point listen, If I pastor or any other person
-
cannot point to it in the Word of God, then
-
please do not believe it, because there is too much
-
at stake on your belief, and the too much is
-
your soul.
-
Our soul is worth more than the whole world and
-
everything in it. You can take everything in.
-
The world, every building, every car, every dollar, every diamond,
-
every gold, every silver, every diamond, everything in the world
-
cannot buy a soul.
-
That's how valuable your soul is.
-
So if any other person, even me, cannot point to
-
what's being taught and what's being preached in this Bible,
-
don't believe it. Everybody got an opinion, that's true. Everybody
-
got an understanding. That's true, But there's only one understanding,
-
and there is no opinion. See, everybody got a pin,
-
but there is no opinion. There's only one truth. That's
-
why when people say you'd say something to people and
-
try to explain it to them. Then I say, well,
-
that's how you believe it. That's the person trying to
-
be comfortable in their mess.
-
That's what that kind of person is.
-
That's the kind of person that tell you wants you
-
tone told.
-
Them the truth of the world of God, and you.
-
Can show it to them, and they still ain't gonna
-
believe it.
-
They don't believe it.
-
Why because they got their own understanding, because they don't
-
have the mind of Christ.
-
They're using their cardial.
-
Mind to try to understand something that's spiritual, and you've
-
given it to them spiritual and they don't understand it,
-
and they ain't gonna look at it.
-
In the Bible and understand it either.
-
Your soul is worth more than the whole world and
-
everything in Jesus said in Matthew sixteen to twenty one.
-
For what profit? What profit is it to a man?
-
Profet is it to a man? If he gains the
-
whole world and loses his own soul? What will a
-
man give in exchange for his soul? What will a
-
man give an ex I mean they've given a whole
-
lot of people have given something in exchange for their soul.
-
What will a man give in exchange for his soul?
-
Our soul is the part of us. Are you listening?
-
Our soul is the part of us. It's the part
-
of me. It's the part of you. Brother. No, I'm
-
telling you that you're a signal. Our soul is the
-
part of us. Your soul, my soul. Everybody in here
-
has a soul.
-
Now, all the folks don't have a soul as animals,
-
but every human being has a soul.
-
And your soul, once you lose it, it's gone. Amen.
-
That's why I say it's what does a man give
-
in exchange for his soul? Because our soul is the
-
part of us that.
-
Is going to continually to live on. Your soul once
-
you die.
-
Your soul is going to live on forever throughout all eternity,
-
So we cannot afford to lose it.
