  3. We do have a board meeting. So if you're involved with the

  4. board, please attend Announcements for the week.

  5. It's not many prayer lunch tomorrow.

  6. No prayer lunch tomorrow. There will not be a Disciples

  7. women's meeting Wednesday at 1:00.

  8. So that is that is is canceled. OK.

  9. They will deliver food boxes Wednesday at 10 AM.

  10. So are there any other announcements that need to be

  11. made to the church? OK.

  12. We'll continue on. Good morning.

  13. If you will please take a hymnal.

  14. Turn to hymn #584 Come into his presence.

  15. We will sing through twice. And if you would please stand

  16. with me as we sing. Your off stage standing won't

  17. take long. We'll read a statement to you

  18. and go through a couple of verses in the Bible.

  19. Worshiping is a privilege that that all Christian can

  20. experience or not all Christian can experience openly.

  21. We should be very thankful we can come here and gather in our

  22. church anytime we get ready to worship God and sing praises to

  23. His name. I'm going to read to you a few

  24. passages. My first one is Mark 1230.

  25. It said, love you Lord to God with all your heart, with all

  26. your soul, with all your mind and all your strength.

  27. The segment I'm going to read to you is is Matthew 1820.

  28. And it says for where I am, where two or three are gathered

  29. in, where two or three are gathered in my name, I was with

  30. them. The last one read to you is

  31. James 5/16. He said, therefore, confess your

  32. sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be

  33. healed. The prayer of a righteous person

  34. is powerful and effective. Would you please pray with me?

  35. Our most grace and Heavenly Father, we are thankful to be in

  36. this your house. What we know we can worship you

  37. openly and freely. We thank you for the many

  38. blessings you placed upon us. But most of all, we thank you

  39. for the gift of your Son Jesus. And we give you the prayer that

  40. he talked to us, saying, Our Father who art in heaven,

  41. hallowed be thy name thy Kingdom come thy will be.

  42. Done. On Earth as it.

  43. Is in heaven. Give us this.

  44. Day Our Daily Bread. And.

  45. Forgive us our debts. As we forgive our debtors and

  46. lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

  47. For thine is the Kingdom, the power and the.

  48. Glory forever. I'm in.

  49. Don't be seated, don't even start down.

  50. Hymn #447 it is well with my soul.

  51. We're going to do the first, second, and last verses, and I

  52. want these windows to be rattling when we get done, all

  53. right. Amen.

  54. You may be seated. Let's.

  55. Go. Let's go, let's go.

  56. This morning as we go to the Lord in prayer, I do just want

  57. to say how great it is to be in the House of the Lord.

  58. The opportunity, as Randy said, that each of us have to come

  59. together to worship, to give thanks, and simply to

  60. acknowledge how great a God it is that we serve.

  61. I pray that it's why we are here today and that we do bring glory

  62. and honor to His name. So let's pray.

  63. Heavenly Father, Lord, we come to you now just thanking you for

  64. the gift of music, for the opportunity to sing these

  65. wonderful hymns that you have given us, and for whatever is

  66. going on in our lives that we may be able to sing with

  67. confidence from our hearts. That it is well with my soul.

  68. Lord, we understand that they are going to be problems, that

  69. there are going to be concerns that we are going to have

  70. sometimes where we are going to suffer.

  71. But Lord, we also know that you walk with us through whatever

  72. circumstances that we are in and that you encourage us and you

  73. uphold us and you undergird us and you bring us through to the

  74. other side. Lord, we simply pray this

  75. morning that as we give, Lord, as we commune with you at the

  76. your table, as we look into your word, Lord, as we continue to

  77. sing, that our hearts are just drawn closer and closer to you.

  78. And Lord, that as we experienced that relationship with you, as

  79. we go forward from this place, we can't do anything other than

  80. go out and tell who Jesus Christ is and the difference that he

  81. makes in our lives each and every day.

  82. We ask all this in Jesus name, Amen.

  83. Can be used for your glory and to build your Kingdom.

  84. We give in faith. Trust in You as our provider.

  85. In your wonderful name we pray. Amen.

  86. Our communion hymn this morning is hymn #405 in Remembrance and

  87. we will sing all the way through.

  88. This morning as we come to the table, we have the invitation of

  89. our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

  90. In the song that we just sang, it talks about His desire for us

  91. to love as He loved to share, as He shared to those that

  92. sometimes that we feel may be maybe unworthy, that we invite

  93. them. Because as we've come to this

  94. table, we realize that without the love of Christ and without

  95. the relationship that we have with Him, we are unworthy.

  96. So my prayer for us today as we partake, as we give thanks for

  97. what Christ has done for us and that we go forth from this place

  98. ready to love as our Savior did, let's pray.

  99. Most special Heavenly Father, we thank you for the opportunity to

  100. stand before this table. We do understand this only by

  101. your invitation that we're allowed to be here.

  102. I shall be taking this bread and then be truly reminded to

  103. represent the Christ's broken body and forgiveness of all sins

  104. in Christ. And we pray.

  105. Father, thank you for the many blessings.

  106. You Kevin's thank you for this day and the opportunity we have

  107. to come together to worship and praise your man most special.

  108. We thank you for this table and the invitation we have to come

  109. and protect the good semblance. As we protect of this cup, we

  110. will remind you that it represents the blood of Jesus

  111. poured out on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.

  112. I pray that we may partake in a manner that's pleasing unto you.

  113. Christ's name, I pray. The Lord Jesus, on the night he

  114. was betrayed, took bread. When he given thanks, he broke

  115. it and said, This is my body given for you.

  116. Do this in remembrance of me. In the same way, after supper he

  117. took the cup, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood.

  118. Do this whenever you drink it in remembrance of me.

  119. For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim

  120. the Lord's death until he comes. This morning as we look into

  121. God's word, if I, if I had a title, which I don't normally do

  122. titles, but I'm, I'm going to give you 1 today.

  123. It's growing in our walk with Christ, growing in our walk with

  124. Christ. And the only way that we can

  125. grow in our walk with Christ is as we become more like Jesus, we

  126. do so in our speech, in our actions, and in our hearts.

  127. If you can turn with me to Ephesians chapter 4 and verse

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  128. 22. Ephesians chapter 4 and verse

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  129. 22. You were taught with regard to

  130. your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is

  131. being corrupted by its deceitful desires, to be made new in the

  132. attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self created to

  133. be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

  134. Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak

  135. truthfully to your neighbor. But we are all members of 1

  136. body. In your anger, do not let the

  137. devil, do not give the devil a foothold.

  138. Anyone who has been stealing must still no longer, but must

  139. work doing something useful with their hands that they may have

  140. something to share with those in need.

  141. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but

  142. only what is helpful for building others up according to

  143. their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

  144. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit with whom you were sealed

  145. for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage

  146. and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.

  147. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other

  148. just as Christ forgave you this morning.

  149. I want to ask you if you were to kind of take, maybe a kind of

  150. take a self evaluation this morning, and it's not for, for

  151. you to share with anyone else, but just simply for you and the

  152. Lord to, to take a look at our walk with him and, and we ask

  153. ourselves the question, are we becoming more like Jesus in our

  154. speech and in our actions and in our hearts?

  155. Our words reveal what is in our hearts.

  156. In Matthew 1234 it says out of the abundance of the heart the

  157. mouth speaketh. How was your speech last week?

  158. Was it encouraging, was it uplifting, Was it harsh, was it

  159. cruel? I was Friday, we were out

  160. working at the church and Craig and Charles had gone over to cut

  161. some grass over on Hwy. 18 and I was cutting, I was trimming the

  162. shrubs and man it, it was so hot.

  163. And I, I was just like, where is Chris Ratliff?

  164. And he was skipping now he was out of town.

  165. And then when they got back, Craig said Brad and I'm going

  166. to, I was soaking wet. I mean, sweat just dropping

  167. everywhere. Craig walked up and he said,

  168. Brad, I'm going to be honest with you, He said, I don't

  169. really think these bushes even need trimming.

  170. I said, Craig, I want to punch you in the head right now.

  171. I just trimmed all these bushes. That's why they don't look like

  172. they need trimming. I had nothing kind,

  173. compassionate, loving to say to Craig at that moment.

  174. You see, the whole time I was trimming the hedges, I was

  175. thinking where is Craig now? Last time he helped me do this

  176. and he's not here. He's over cutting grass

  177. somewhere else, just riding on the zero turn lawn mower.

  178. You see the things that happen up in our minds and in our

  179. hearts. They come out in the words that

  180. we say in the speech that we use.

  181. So I will tell you this. If you feel like you're speaking

  182. with harshness, unkindness, you need to look at what's going on

  183. in here. Our words should encourage

  184. rather than discourage. Let me give you a James passage

  185. from James chapter 3. In verse 9, with the tongue we

    James 3 chapter mention

  186. praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings

  187. who have been made in God's likeness.

  188. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing.

  189. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.

  190. Can both freshwater and saltwater flow from the same

  191. spring? My brothers and sisters, can a

  192. fig tree bear olives or a Grapevine bear figs?

  193. Neither can a salt spring produce freshwater?

  194. Do your words bring healing or hurt?

  195. Do we speak hope or do we speak criticism?

  196. Do we reflect kindness in the words that we say to others?

  197. Instead of saying, Craig, I'd like to punch you in the head

  198. right now. I could have said something a

  199. lot more kind. You know, I could have said

  200. something like, well, Craig, I appreciate that you think that

  201. the bushes don't need trimming because I just trimmed them and

  202. just left it at that. But man, it is so easy for our

  203. human side to just come out just like that.

  204. It's always there. It's always there trying to take

  205. hold again. You think about when we accept

  206. Christ as Savior and we begin that process of, of growing to

  207. be who Christ desires for us to be.

  208. If we did it as a child, it's probably easier for us than for

  209. if we were 1415, sixteen 20s later in life because we we've

  210. had so much more time to to get ingrained those those bad habits

  211. to get ingrained. I remember growing up, we were

  212. taught without question, without fail, that we were going to say

  213. yes, Sir and no Sir and yes, ma'am and no ma'am, period.

  214. The end wasn't a question. It was going to happen because

  215. you were going to show respect to those who were older than

  216. you. And if you, if you missed it one

  217. time, I can promise you, if my granddad was there, you were

  218. going to get corrected for it. He wasn't going to let it slide.

  219. He wasn't going to say, oh, they probably didn't mean that.

  220. No, he said, I'm sorry, what'd you say?

  221. And you're just like, yes, Sir. Today we seem to have become

  222. more and more LAX in what we are teaching.

  223. And our speech reflects that through what our children are

  224. saying. There is no respect for adults.

  225. There is no respect for authority.

  226. You, you can watch on the news and you can hear these

  227. interactions because we now have body cams and, and as soon as

  228. police come up to the car, there's attitude given always.

  229. If there was an attitude given, I, I, I, I tend to believe that

  230. maybe that person might get off with a warning.

  231. But I can promise you, if as soon as they come up there, you

  232. start saying how sorry they are and that you pay their salary

  233. and if it wasn't for them, you wouldn't even be out here.

  234. You're getting a ticket. Whether you really deserve one

  235. or not, you're getting one. Those words that we use, they

  236. have an impact. They have an impact on that

  237. officer. They have an impact on our

  238. children. They have an impact on those

  239. that are in the service industry.

  240. If, and I want you to think about this, when you go up and

  241. order a hamburger and you get whatever it is that you like on

  242. yours and you get it and it comes out to you and and you

  243. open it up and it's not like what you expected it to be.

  244. And you go up there rant and Raven said, make this the way I

  245. wanted it from the beginning. These are the things that you

  246. should have on there and you list them off again.

  247. You think anything good is going to happen to your hamburger

  248. while it's in the back? I want you to really think about

  249. that. They're behind that wall.

  250. You don't know. They may have slapped your Patty

  251. down on the floor and picked it up and put it back on there.

  252. They come out, say, hey, Sir, I'm sorry.

  253. Hope you enjoy. Be careful with what your word

  254. say because they're going to have some consequences.

  255. Randy and I were at Chick-fil-A the other day, and this fellow

  256. was sitting there and they had gotten his order.

  257. Well, his cheese wasn't melted on his chicken sandwich that he

  258. got a Chick-fil-A. He called the little girl over

  259. there and he said this cheese isn't even melted.

  260. He said take that back and fix it again.

  261. She's like, yes, Sir, we're sorry about that.

  262. Took it back, fix it again, brought it back out.

  263. Yeah, he was hot. I mean, he was hot.

  264. His fries were getting cold and he, I could just see him

  265. steaming over there. She brought it back and she said

  266. whatever they what is, it is a pleasure to serve you.

  267. I don't know exactly what it is, but something about my pleasure,

  268. I think it's what they say. He got it.

  269. He opened it up. The cheese was not melting.

  270. I'm going to let you all know something.

  271. At Chick-fil-A, they don't have microwaves that I know of that

  272. they pop it in and melt the cheese for you.

  273. It's simply they put the cheese on the chicken and the longer it

  274. sits there, the more it melts. Just so you know, they don't

  275. melt the cheese at Chick-fil-A. He was so mad and he was just

  276. talking to himself over there. He was by himself.

  277. No one's with him. And I, he was just mumbling the

  278. whole time. This sandwich isn't any good.

  279. And on and on and on and on it went.

  280. And I sat there and I was watching him and I, and I began

  281. to think about myself and my, my interactions with people.

  282. And do I look exactly the way that this man did?

  283. Because I looked over there and I was like, man, you're, you're,

  284. you're almost 70 years old. Act like it.

  285. That's what I wanted to say. How many times do I get angry

  286. and act like I shouldn't act? And there's young people and

  287. people watching and they're thinking, well, that guy looks

  288. like an absolute idiot. What are our actions look like?

  289. Not just our words. What are our actions look like?

  290. People often see our actions before they hear our testimony.

  291. Let me give you a four example. If you had an interaction with

  292. me out in the public and I didn't act as you thought that a

  293. pastor should act. And then you came into the

  294. sanctuary and you sat down to hear the sermon and you looked

  295. up and you saw me. And you thought, that's that guy

  296. that I saw acting crazy at the McDonald's because they didn't

  297. give his double cheeseburger with just mayonnaise, ketchup

  298. and pickle. How, how much do you think

  299. they're going to get out of that sermon that I bring that day?

  300. It may be a good sermon. It it may be one of my best, but

  301. the actions that they saw in me before they came into this

  302. sanctuary, it's over. We have to be so careful and

  303. consistent in the way that we live outside the church because

  304. if we do get them into the church and they remember you or

  305. they Remember Me in a not good way, it's going to have an

  306. effect. The words that we speak, the

  307. actions that we have. In Matthew chapter 5 and verse

    Matthew 5 chapter mention

  308. 16 it says let your light so shine before men that they may

  309. see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

  310. When you think about your actions this past week, did they

  311. bring glory to God? Did people see goodness?

  312. Did they see love? Did they see mercy?

  313. Did they see light as they interacted with you?

  314. We are to walk in love. We think about how Jesus loved

  315. the unlovable. Jesus spoke to people that

  316. normally those who were the Christians, the good people of

  317. the day, the Pharisees, the religious leaders of the day,

  318. they wouldn't have been caught dead speaking to those people,

  319. but Jesus spoke to them. Jesus cared for them.

  320. He served those who many would have considered unworthy,

  321. worthless, not worthy of my time.

  322. So when we think about our walk, that's our actions.

  323. When we think about our walk, are we walking in obedience?

  324. Do we, do we have the love of Christ demonstrated in our

  325. lives? Are people seeing Christ in US?

  326. Jesus, we've use the scripture many times before in John

    John 14 chapter mention

  327. chapter 14 and verse 15, he says if you love me, keep my

  328. commandments. Obedience means trusting God

  329. even when his way is difficult. We have to sometimes swallow our

  330. pride. We have to sometimes refrain

  331. from allowing our mouths to get going as they desire to, or our

  332. actions to be in such a way that will hurt our relationship with

  333. others. And when we hurt our

  334. relationship with others, we are separating ourselves from Christ

  335. because he was always looking to bring people in, to make them

  336. feel wanted, to make them feel loved, to make them feel worthy.

  337. You remember when Jesus washed his disciples feet, He taught

  338. them about the importance that that the greatest among us,

  339. those who think that we are of importance, we should humble

  340. ourselves and that should we should be willing to serve

  341. Christians who are growing. They they do this instead of how

  342. can I be served? Their thought process is how can

  343. I serve those who are growing in the relationship with Christ is

  344. what can I do to make someone else's life easier instead of

  345. what can I do to get out of the most work that I possibly can

  346. and let someone else do it. When we walk as Jesus walked,

  347. we're going to have to sacrifice.

  348. Last part is growing in our heart.

  349. We can go to Psalm 51 and verse 10. 5110 says this created me a

  350. pure heart. O God, and renew a steadfast

  351. spirit within me. Do not cast me from your

  352. presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.

  353. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing

  354. spirit to sustain me when our heart is far from God.

  355. I can promise you that our speech, that our actions, that

  356. just our overall attitude is going to be way off.

  357. We're going to be someone that people do not want to be around,

  358. they don't want to spend time with when our heart is where it

  359. should be. When we have that heart that God

  360. desires for us to have, people will be drawn to being around

  361. us. It will be enjoyable to be with

  362. us. I want you to think about this

  363. for a moment. If we're having a fellowship

  364. dinner and Lamar is cooking for that dinner and the whole time

  365. leading up to it, Lamar saying things like, man, I'm just

  366. getting tired of cooking for y'all.

  367. I'm just tired of it. I don't really even want to

  368. cook, but I'm going to do it because it's the right thing to

  369. do. We get there on that day and

  370. Lamar brings the food food in and he's puts it down on the

  371. table and he says, I hope you all enjoy because I've done all

  372. the work that I'm going to do. Does that make you want to have

  373. Lamar cook something else for you again?

  374. Or does it make you feel like, wow, well, I don't want to ask

  375. Lamar to cook again. We've I think we've overworked

  376. him and he's he's just not in a good place.

  377. Every time that I asked Lamar to cook, every time he says, Brad,

  378. you just tell me what you need me to do and I'm going to get it

  379. done every time. That's the way it's supposed to

  380. be. That's having the heart of a

  381. servant. We are humble, we are pure, we

  382. are compassionate, we are willing to surrender ourselves,

  383. and we are following the example that Jesus gave us in

  384. Philippians chapter 2. I didn't have this one.

    Philippians 2 chapter mention

  385. Mark Philippians, Chapter 2. And verse 5, in your

    Philippians 2 chapter mention

  386. relationship with one another have the same mindset as Christ

  387. Jesus, who, being in the very nature of God, did not consider

  388. equality with God something to be used to His own advantage.

  389. Rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a

  390. servant being made in human likeness and being found in

  391. appearance as a man. He humbled himself by becoming

  392. obedient to death, even death on a cross.

  393. This morning I want to ask you, do we have or are we in the

  394. process of developing the mindset of Christ, the heart of

  395. Christ? Do we have a heart that longs to

  396. be kind and compassionate, to be tender hearted, to be forgiving

  397. of one another? Philippians 432 says Be ye kind

  398. one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as

  399. God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

  400. Listen to this Unforgiveness hinders spiritual growth.

  401. Listen to me one more time on that one.

  402. Unforgiveness hinders spiritual growth.

  403. If you have a relationship that is broken, that there is a wedge

  404. between you and whoever it may be, a Co worker, a family

  405. member, a friend, you cannot grow in your relationship with

  406. Christ if you're always angry, hostile, wishing evil upon that

  407. person. We got to go to that person and

  408. we've got to make that relationship right.

  409. And sometimes it wasn't even our fault.

  410. I get that sometimes we are right, but it's up to us to be

  411. willing to humble ourselves, to forgive and to restore that

  412. relationship when we had developed a heart that longs for

  413. God. We have a desire to know more

  414. about Christ. We we have a desire, we have a

  415. hunger for God's word, for prayer, for worship, for

  416. fellowship with other Christians.

  417. Have you ever noticed that that when you're in an in a not good

  418. place that you don't want to be around Christians, that their

  419. their goodness just kind of sets you off?

  420. Have you ever, has anyone ever noticed that?

  421. I'll be honest with you, there are times when I can come into

  422. contact with people who they're just so good that I'm thinking

  423. there, there is no way that they are that nice.

  424. There is no way. But yet every time I come in

  425. contact with them, they're they're so nice, they're so

  426. loving, they're so kind. And it makes me reflect back.

  427. Where am I in my relationship with the Lord?

  428. Where am I in my study of God's word?

  429. Am I spending time in prayer? Am I looking forward to worship?

  430. Do I have a desire to fellowship with other believers?

  431. Spiritual maturity is measured not by how much we know, but by

  432. how much we love Jesus, how much we obey Him, and how much we

  433. love others. So this morning, as you're

  434. taking your spiritual inventory, we're going to take a look at

  435. our speech. We're going to really consider

  436. the words that we say. We are going to understand that

  437. it is important for others to see in us a heart that loves

  438. God. We're going to consider our

  439. actions, how we interact with other people, not just the

  440. people that we like, but even those that we don't like.

  441. How is our how are our actions? And finally, our heart, how are

  442. we going about motivating? What is motivating us to do the

  443. things that we do? If we are walking with Jesus, we

  444. have a literal desire to love as He loved, to have compassion as

  445. He did. Are we willing?

  446. Are we looking forward to spending time in His Word?

  447. Spending time in prayer? Where are we today?

  448. As I look back over this past week and I saw several instances

  449. where I thought you can do better.

  450. That was not Christ like. I also saw some situations where

  451. I encountered people who definitely this is not who I

  452. want to be, but I also encountered some situations

  453. where I said that's Christ in action.

  454. That's what I want others to see in my life.

  455. I thank Lamar for his willingness to serve, and I hope

  456. that we appreciate it and that we don't take it for granted.

  457. But I also hope that that we have that desire to serve as

  458. well, that we are looking for opportunities that are going to

  459. benefit others and not us. Do you know how much money that

  460. I have paid Lamar for the, let's just say 200 meals that I've

  461. asked him to prepare since I've been here?

  462. You know how much I've said, you know what I I've said, Lamar, I

  463. just want to give you a little something extra.

  464. Lamar, how much extra have you gotten?

  465. Not one red sin. He didn't do it for money.

  466. He didn't do it even for me to stand up here and to say that I

  467. appreciate it. He did it because he loves the

  468. Lord and he has a desire to serve and I thank him for that.

  469. Peggy played my favorite communion.

  470. That's my favorite one. If I if I am not where I'm

  471. supposed to be with the Lord as I'm standing there and she

  472. begins to play that it just brings me into that place of

  473. understanding how great it is the God I serve and the love

  474. that I should have for him and I appreciate that.

  475. Next week these two ladies are going to play their prelude.

  476. Is it is the prelude that you're doing right Next week, Lord most

  477. holy, you need to be here not even for the sermon.

  478. You're going to get a sermon in that in that prelude itself.

  479. It is absolutely glorious, folks.

  480. We have so many opportunities to serve.

  481. We have so many opportunities to be who Christ desires for us to

  482. be. Are we taking them?

  483. Are we putting that love into action?

  484. Or are we still worried about ourself?

  485. Take the little spiritual inventory this week.

  486. Your speech, your actions, and your heart.

  487. Are they in line with Christ? And when they are, people are

  488. going to want to be around us and they're going to know why.

  489. And we get to tell them about Jesus.

  490. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, I do give

  491. thanks to you this morning for your love for us, Lord, for the

  492. supreme and ultimate imperfect example that we had in your Son

  493. Jesus Christ as he came to this earth.

  494. And Lord, this morning I simply pray that the Holy Spirit will

  495. be in our hearts and and move us and and convict us and mould us

  496. and to shape us to become more like you.

  497. And Lord, that where we need to forgive, that we will forgive.

  498. Where we need to let go of pride and we need to show humility

  499. that we will. And Lord, sometimes we may just

  500. need to simply sit quietly and allow you to speak.

  501. Lord, give us the heart of a servant and as we do that, Lord,

  502. it will grow our relationship with you in a mighty way and we

  503. will become closer to You and we will become closer to those who

  504. are around us because Jesus is perfect and our desires to

  505. become more like Him. We ask all this in Jesus name,

  506. Amen. Him of invitation.

  507. This morning is just as I am #434 no, I'm sorry. 435I stand

  508. corrected. You would please stand with me.

  509. We're going to do the first, second and last verses 1-2

  510. Heavenly Father, we pray this morning, Lord, that we will just

  511. come to you just as we are with all our imperfections, with all

  512. our faults, and then we lay them at your feet and more that we

  513. humble ourselves and realize that as we give of ourselves and

  514. and. Do our best to become more like

  515. you Lord, that you will lift a son, that you will raise a son,

  516. and that you will make us into who you desire for us to be and

  517. that we will bring glory and honor to your name through our

  518. words and our actions and our hearts.

  519. It's in Jesus name I pray. Amen.

  520. By those
