  1. I'll be quiet.

  2. I'll be quiet.

  3. I'll be quiet.

  4. I'll be quiet.

  5. I feel the hunger in your name.

  6. I proclaim that Jesus reigns.

  7. I proclaim that Jesus reigns.

  8. I feel my love for you.

  9. I want to pray for brother Tim.

  10. I just heard when I got here that brother Tim is home with a fever today.

  11. I'm probably breaking his heart, but on top of that he's not feeling well.

  12. So we have a number of praises.

  13. There are some good things that are happening too.

  14. We have plenty of reasons to praise God.

  15. We want to lift him up today.

  16. And then also lift up brother Jason Wellington.

  17. He's been a great help to us.

  18. They're doing a reset at work and he's been working about 65 to 68 hours.

  19. Plus he drives an hour and a half to and from work.

  20. He works an hour and a half away.

  21. So that's five days, six days a week.

  22. So that's another 18 hours plus working 65 hours or whatever.

  23. I don't know what it comes up to, a total of 80 hours, stuff like that.

  24. Okay.

  25. Thank you.

  26. It's getting out of control.

  27. So he's praying that he'll be able to just make it through.

  28. He's got a couple more weeks he's got to get through.

  29. And then there's that.

  30. And then he'll be working with us.

  31. So first we'll pray and we'll lift up brother Tim.

  32. And then I'll just do a couple quick announcements.

  33. Okay.

  34. All right, let's pray again.

  35. Okay.

  36. Father in heaven, we thank you for this day.

  37. We recognize that every day is a gift.

  38. Every day is meant to be a joy.

  39. Even those days that are in hardship.

  40. I think about James chapter one, how we consider it pure joy.

  41. We face all manner of trials and tribulations.

  42. And there's a lot of that in the world today.

  43. A lot of trials, a lot of tribulations.

  44. We lift up brother Tim this morning.

  45. It's a tough time of year because a lot of people have been sick.

  46. I've got cold and the colds have lasted a little bit.

  47. But thankfully it's not been COVID.

  48. We're grateful for that.

  49. But we pray that that's also true in his case.

  50. That you watch over him, that you protect him, that you heal him, that you lift him up.

  51. Help him know that we love him.

  52. I'm sure he's probably watching even now.

  53. I just ask you to bless him, keep him and his family safe.

  54. He'll be a martyr.

  55. Father, we pray for Jason this morning.

  56. The difficulties that he's been facing with work.

  57. We were talking the other day about...

  58. Take a picture.

  59. Talking the other day about how he was climbing towers.

  60. Going 120 foot up and doing it up and down and up and down 12 times in a day.

  61. And it's a 15 hour day that he's working.

  62. And so Lord we just ask you to keep him safe.

  63. He's strong.

  64. He's worked hard to be strong.

  65. And we ask you Lord to make him strong spiritually, make him strong emotionally, make him strong psychologically.

  66. And there are lots of other troubles and difficulties.

  67. And we ask you to lift up your body and give us strength.

  68. We represent you well in this day.

  69. Help us worship you now with our voices, with our hearts, with our minds.

  70. Bring us focus.

  71. Give us patience with one another.

  72. And help us to glorify you.

  73. We pray this in Jesus' name.

  74. Amen.

  75. Okay, a couple real quick announcements and we'll jump back into worship number one.

  76. You see a developing mound of candy up here.

  77. We are still taking candy donations.

  78. They need to be individually wrapped and unopened candy donations.

  79. And we take those right up to and even at the Fall Fest which is on the 31st.

  80. And opposite Trick or Treating we're doing what's called Hall of a Lot of Funds.

  81. It's right down the middle of the building.

  82. And if all of our games and stuff won't fit there then we can add some of the little hallways

  83. or outside of the weather permits and that kind of thing.

  84. But we're going to do games.

  85. The kids come and they work their way down the hallway and they play games and we eat candy.

  86. And that's kind of like to replace Trick or Treating.

  87. It's a safe way of doing it.

  88. There are other things that people do.

  89. There are trunk or treats.

  90. Schools are doing certain things.

  91. There are other things people do.

  92. But for our part what we need to do is we need to design games, come ready to run games,

  93. donate candy and then we've already elected as a church, decided as a church to put in some money for candy.

  94. And so we'll have plenty of candy to give to kids and some other treats and things for parents

  95. and a lot of some stuff going on that's going to be great.

  96. That's on Halloween the 31st, the last Sunday of this month.

  97. So that's going to be an exciting day.

  98. Alright.

  99. Then also on top of that we have a lot more coming this upcoming month.

  100. I'll direct you to your bulletin.

  101. I will tell you that most of the events, I think I have all the events on the church website

  102. and over there as well.

  103. But your bulletin has those dates listed in it.

  104. The biggest of which and the thing I need you to pay attention to and to block out time for if you can,

  105. and that is we are having essentially a revival.

  106. It's not really a revival because that's up to God if He wants to revive people.

  107. But it's a time of focus.

  108. And so Sunday the 7th of November, Brother Jerry East from Mississippi will be here with us

  109. and he will preach that Sunday morning instead of me.

  110. I'll be here.

  111. But he'll be preaching.

  112. And then Monday night, Tuesday night and Wednesday night of that week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of that week,

  113. we will meet at 6.30 and we will meet like we do on Sunday morning.

  114. So we'll come in here, kids will be in here for a couple songs,

  115. and then the kids will go out to a kid appropriate lesson.

  116. On Tuesday night is going to be a special time where the kids will go out

  117. and Aaron will make sure that there are teachers for them, just like normal.

  118. But the ladies will meet in the cafeteria right after the kids go out or maybe one song more.

  119. The ladies will meet in the cafeteria with Brother Jerry's wife whose name I can't remember again.

  120. I forgot to ask what her wife's name was and I'm sorry.

  121. But anyway, she will be here and she's a sweet woman

  122. and she's going to teach out of the word something specifically for women.

  123. So the kids will be in the kids department, the women will be in the women's department,

  124. the men will be in here and Brother Jerry will be with us and it's going to be back from Tuesday night.

  125. So it's Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

  126. So now you're going, right now you're going, I've got to worry about dinner.

  127. You've got to worry about dinner.

  128. If you're going to eat dinner, you've got to work that out.

  129. If you've never eaten dinner before, whatever, we are going to have some light refreshments of the healthy variety.

  130. So we have some fruit and snacks and things like that that you can have when you come in.

  131. So if you're normally like a six o'clock dinner eater, you can come and have the light refreshments

  132. and then after we're done about 730, then you can do your dinner time with your family.

  133. So that's all that's planned.

  134. And then Grand Prix is coming up.

  135. That's in your bulletin too.

  136. I don't need to get into the details of that right now.

  137. So that's Sunday, the second Sunday of November, all family fellowship after church on Sunday.

  138. Bring your potluck foods to church with you on Sunday.

  139. And afterwards we're going to have together a meal and we've got a little like some card games on tables,

  140. some discussion starters and stuff like that.

  141. And we'll come together as a church and spend a little time together.

  142. And pray that all that goes wonderfully and glorifies God.

  143. So that's some quick announcements.

  144. There's more in your bulletin.

  145. There's more going on.

  146. Christmas is right around the corner.

  147. So some neat stuff with that.

  148. But it's there so that you can say that's in the bulletin.

  149. I'll look up those days later.

  150. And right now say I'm going to focus on God.

  151. So we're going to praise God in song.

  152. I'll turn it back over to you.

  153. All right. Good morning, New Heights.

  154. Good morning.

  155. We are looking kind of full and I'm loving it, but we're also looking kind of sleepy.

  156. So I need everyone on their feet.

  157. I need all of our childreny type people up to the front.

  158. We're going to learn some motions.

  159. I like my words there.

  160. That's very scientific.

  161. No sort of words.

  162. Congratulations.

  163. We're going to have to go out there and see them.

  164. All right.

  165. Feel free to join us as we get going.

  166. Adults, you can do motions too.

  167. This is not about going out with children.

  168. Thank you.

  169. We're children.

  170. Come on.

  171. Come on.

  172. I need children.

  173. Stand facing us.

  174. Yeah.

  175. Just stand up facing us.

  176. We're going to do them with you.

  177. Come on.

  178. Come on.

  179. Come on.

  180. Come on.

  181. Come on.

  214. Come on.

  215. Come on.

  216. Come on.

  217. Come on.

  218. Come on.

  219. Come on.

  220. Come on.

  221. Thank you so much. That was fun. I love doing the motions.

  222. I don't know. Some people are motion reluctant, but it gets my blood pumping.

  223. What's funny is I'll be singing songs that don't have any motions

  224. and making motions to them. I like to do that.

  225. They didn't do that specifically for me, but I sure enjoyed it.

  226. Focus your heart on God.

  227. We call it the inspirational moment time in which we share what we've seen this week. What happened in the last seven days?

  228. What have you seen in the Bible? What have you heard in the song?

  229. Where is God at work that you have seen?

  230. What do you got? Throw it out there.

  231. We have a video.

  232. Let's go right into it.

  233. Watch this one.

  234. Watch this one.

  235. If it goes back

  236. through again, make sure you go to minute 25 because there's a fight going on.

  237. It's a passive.

  238. There's a fight going on.

  239. Pull it back up.

  240. Who else has something you'd like to say?

  241. We'll come back to that in a second.

  242. Nobody else has ideas.

  243. On Sunday,

  244. a week from the week before today,

  245. I got a phone call that my brother passed away

  246. and me and my brother weren't super, super close.

  247. I didn't even know he existed until I was 17.

  248. The biggest thing right now

  249. that I've been dealing with is the fact that tomorrow's not promised.

  250. I think that was a huge thing.

  251. A huge wave of poverty. I've been trying not to let it bother me, but it has been.

  252. Part of it is

  253. the fact that we didn't spend more time together.

  254. The biggest thing right now is

  255. when you go to bed, you have to remember that you're not promised to wake up.

  256. That's what happened. He went to bed and never woke back up.

  257. He ended up dying in his sleep.

  258. It's really hard to cope with it,

  259. but at the same time,

  260. it's a wake-up call because it makes me realize that family is extremely important.

  261. You have to make time

  262. for family. It includes

  263. spending time with the people you care about

  264. and who care about you. You can't let other things get in the way

  265. of your relationship with your family.

  266. I had an interesting time to mention that one of our core values as a church is family.

  267. It's one of the reasons why on Sunday evenings, for example, we suggest that families have family time

  268. together.

  269. I would encourage you to make sure that the Word is in that and that it's

  270. godly.

  271. The truth is, when somebody

  272. passes away, there's always a stage of grief.

  273. You definitely want to learn the lesson that

  274. every day is valuable. Are we ready for the video?

  275. I'll tell you pause and pause.

  276. I think this should be good.

  277. Let's say pause and pause.

  278. It's not a pause.

  279. It's a pause.

  280. It shouldn't be here.

  281. Neither should you.

  282. Good job, dude.

  283. Is that why you're calling us?

  284. Knowing all these people wasn't going to bring your family back.

  285. We found something.

  286. A chance. Maybe.

  287. No.

  288. No one.

  289. I'm sorry I couldn't get you to.

  290. Sorry, I couldn't get you to, sir.

  291. It's not a pause.

  292. It's supposed to come up here.

  293. New Heights and Facebook challenge.

  294. I'm going to let God speak.

  295. My first question is, what inspires you?

  296. Maybe John Wayne was going to come up here. Maybe it's an old cowboy movie. Maybe it's an old soldier movie.

  297. I'm like, that moment that's being spoken as if someone's speaking directly to me.

  298. That's the first thing I ask. What is God speaking to you?

  299. Born Again Believers here on Facebook, you have the greatest hope you can ever do.

  300. What is God telling you?

  301. The thing I love about this scene, this is Avengers Endgame.

  302. I don't know if anybody heard of this movie. I'm not telling you to watch it, but it's awesome.

  303. The story is, I'm not going to tell the whole movie, they fail in the last movie.

  304. They literally lose a million people who are wiped out, families, friends, half of half.

  305. They lose all hope. Even the Avengers, one, he turned into a mercenary.

  306. Going around taking out vengeance on anybody that has hurt someone.

  307. That's his plan. One gets really fat and depressed.

  308. The other one, they continue on, but they don't know they can have.

  309. In this movie, there's a moment where there's hope.

  310. There's a moment where they can think that they can go back and fix everything.

  311. The first thing is, this is a movie. You can't fix anything. You can't go back and fix it.

  312. The funny thing about this movie, and I love about this, I want to keep this short,

  313. is that the one thing that God was telling me first is that the pain never goes away.

  314. The experiences that you felt that are soul-crushing experiences, sons, that I've felt,

  315. and many have felt in their lives, and my family, the pain that I've heard from others,

  316. that pain never goes away. Those memories never go away.

  317. Those consequences, those never go away.

  318. But hope never quits. Hope never fails.

  319. And in that moment, he has a mask on, and he is absolutely no way going to be who he's supposed to be.

  320. And the one thing that God was telling me to tell you guys, if this isn't speaking,

  321. just be all you're supposed to be in Christ, and you're great.

  322. Same thing, Facebook, just be all you can be in Christ. I'll get to the point here in a second.

  323. But hope never fails. And she's waiting, even watching him do all that crazy stuff,

  324. you don't know what he did, but he went on a crazy spree.

  325. And she's waiting. He knows that she's there, because he's a mercenary.

  326. He can sense her, and as soon as he does that deed he did,

  327. she goes up to him, and he pulls his mask off.

  328. Because he doesn't, he's not, he can't be, he can't change,

  329. he can't stop doing what he's doing, because hope's not coming his way.

  330. And so when she comes, and she says, we have a chance.

  331. We have a chance to get back everything that was taken away.

  332. We have hope. And he goes, don't. Don't give me hope.

  333. And that's the hard part, is you have to understand, people's lives are wounded and broken,

  334. and the hope that we have, they can't have that hope if they don't turn to Him.

  335. Because that hope is what they're doing right now.

  336. They are killing with their swords, they are killing with their words,

  337. and this could be Christians too. They are killing with their feelings, their problems, their situations,

  338. not following God in the hope that they have, and they have no control over themselves.

  339. Those who are lost, you have no control over yourselves.

  340. I'm not making fun of you. Turn your heart to Jesus. Turn over to God, and He will bring control back out.

  341. He'll change you. God is not a lifestyle. God is a life changer, completely.

  342. And so what happened is, in that moment, He comes back to who He is, and she reaches out to Him,

  343. and says, I'm sorry I didn't bring this to you a long time ago.

  344. And so church, we have to make an apology for one thing, we should have been branded anyways,

  345. but regardless, we still have hope, and we still need to bring it to others.

  346. Three people so far in my life are boasting across, they ain't nothing that Tony Tate did.

  347. Tony Tate loves his little Cheetos and watching movies and doing nothing. That's Tony Tate.

  348. I don't need Cheetos anymore, but I can get them again. I like to be cheesy. I'm a corny kid.

  349. That's who I am. I'll get cheesy again. I'll get me some Cheetos. That's who I am.

  350. But Tony Tate went out there and put his feelings on the line through Christ, and his life on the line,

  351. and his emotions on the line, and his uncomfortable circumstances, and the pain I've been through,

  352. and the hurt, and all the things I've dealt with, I've put it on the line.

  353. I've denied myself who I am, and Christ brought life into me, and three people were able to plead their case to Jesus.

  354. Not pleading it to an imperfect person, but pleading it to the hope they could find in Jesus.

  355. So here's the challenge, New Heights, here's the challenge, Facebook, is that you may not know this,

  356. and you've got to try to refute me in the Scriptures, but my challenge is, is that you can plead your case with Jesus.

  357. You can plead. That means everything you've been through, the hurt, the pain, the struggle,

  358. it's the hope that brought him back. It wasn't that moment that she reached out to him.

  359. It was the moment that there could be a reach. It was the moment that there was hope.

  360. The real hope. The hope that they have, and I'm not making fun of it, I don't care if it's marriage, success, all that,

  361. but it's the hope that keeps them, and this is what I'm going to close on, it's the hope that keeps them just going.

  362. Our hope is that we move forward and there's nothing they can do. They can't stop us. We don't quit.

  363. We press on because our hope cannot be taken from us.

  364. The hope of the Lord Jesus is what we have. Born again believers, brothers and sisters,

  365. my challenge to you is that we should plead that case with others.

  366. I don't care if you're a coach, I don't care if you're a dad, I don't care if you're a mom, let them know at least there is hope.

  367. And then they can plead the case. Because the first thing is, I pleaded my case with them and then they got to plead their case with them.

  368. And that was a moment where God is involved and their lives will never be the same.

  369. And why do I say that? Because I did something that I could not do.

  370. I think the can do is not what God cares about at all. I mean it's awesome.

  371. God's giving you great gifts, God's giving you the glory, you reach out and do a bunch of stuff,

  372. but it's what you can't do is where God gets involved. Think about it.

  373. Gideon, 300 against 3 million, not even a million.

  374. Okay, think about it. 3000 people were saved in a big city that no one would even recognize as a big number.

  375. It's not about the numbers game, it's about what you can't do is what God says you can do.

  376. So that's all it's about. If you don't get anything from this, just be all you can be in Christ.

  377. I didn't come here to try and tell us what we can do, but we have that hope.

  378. And if you need to take that mask off and that sword again and let God do a work in your hurting soul crushing heart,

  379. because my soul was crushed because of the people that walked on me and left me for dead.

  380. But God came to me just like she did and said the same thing. I'm sorry I didn't come to you sooner.

  381. She was always coming. Christ was always there. God was in the worst of all times

  382. because the one hope that we have is that he died and rose again from that cross.

  383. We don't have any other hope. It's the hope that we will have for the rest of now and eternity.

  384. Challenging you Facebook, challenging you New Heights, and if you do it already, give me a thumbs up so I can thank God and pray to watch.

  385. If just every born again believer just reached out to one person today and gave their life to everything they have,

  386. if they just did that one thing, we would see life change, not life size.

  387. Alright, that's the praise team to lead us as we worship, we're going to pray for our offerings, we're going to pray for us briefly and we're moving forward. Let's go.

  388. Father in heaven, we praise you and thank you for this day, we thank you for the tithes and offerings, we ask you to multiply these uses of the kingdom of advance,

  389. we thank you for these moments of inspiration, we thank you for that message that there is hope, we ask the Lord to help us to live it out as we praise you in Jesus name. Amen.

  390. Amen.

  391. Thank you.
