  34. and then very shortly, I'll tell you how we end out

  35. and we'll be back hopefully before the end of the service

  36. after that conversation takes place.

  37. Father in Heaven, we recognize

  38. having heard it from your word

  39. having felt the testimony of the voice

  40. buried in our hearts when that's true

  41. for those of us who have

  42. we recognize that you are a sovereign God

  43. that you are in charge of all things

  44. you see the past, present, and future

  45. indeed you are present in the past, present, and future

  46. you are on the throne, ruling over the earth

  47. you set the times for seasons and wind and rain

  48. you have allowed it to be so

  49. for the things that are going on in the earth right now

  50. even in the kingdom of God, because of your grace

  51. there is room for people to get into foolishness

  52. for people to choose things that are not right for themselves or for others

  53. Lord, at times we recognize that we have done that

  54. we too are once an obvious of wrath

  55. there may be somebody in this room

  56. who has not accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior

  57. and they are still an obvious of wrath

  58. that means that you oppose the course they're currently on

  59. you're trying to help them find the right way

  60. trying to push them in the right way

  61. and that this is one that they don't necessarily see the right way

  62. or if that's any one of us

  63. Lord, I pray that that person

  64. will open their hearts, open their eyes

  65. look towards you, look towards the love that you have for us

  66. and of course you're trying to do

  67. Father, we thank you for this place

  68. and the miracles that you've done for us over here

  69. and I know you've done the same thing in Lambertville Lord

  70. the miracles that you've done for that church over here

  71. we thank you that they have a heart to live

  72. to reach people to gospel

  73. to grow

  74. I pray that that really is true

  75. prove to them that it's true for us

  76. if we get involved with them and help them Lord

  77. that through that you can grow us

  78. you can make us better and better people

  79. stronger and stronger Christians

  80. faithful followers

  81. bold in speaking out

  82. quick to cut out the things that so easily hold us back

  83. and rightly divide in the word of God

  84. and living according to your will

  85. the best we know how in times that

  86. maybe the best word to describe it is tumultuous

  87. there's a lot of activity, a lot of energy

  88. a lot of things popping up here and there and everywhere

  89. and people are doing all kinds of things

  90. and a lot of folks just want to keep on like it was

  91. want to keep indulging in the entertainment activities of people

  92. of the world

  93. you cannot

  94. we want to be focused on you

  95. we need your help to do that

  96. Lord we pray for the church of Lamb

  97. we pray for ourselves

  98. we pray that you would intervene the way that you want

  99. we pray that you would be able to lead people to Jesus

  100. we pray that Jesus would have his way

  101. which is to save all who have come to him

  102. all who have received

  103. we pray that you would have your way

  104. that is if the word gets out

  105. believers are baptized and discipled by Jesus

  106. and trained by us

  107. and we raise them up

  108. to be a bigger, better, stronger

  109. more actively in love

  110. church of God

  111. bless the music

  112. bless the instrumentalist

  113. bless the singers

  114. bless the preacher

  115. bless all that goes on here today Lord

  116. as you see fit

  117. speak well of us in the heavenly places

  118. let all the angels see

  119. that your people love you

  120. more than anything on the earth

  121. that's what we want to do

  122. we want to love you

  123. more than anything on the earth

  124. let it all pass away now

  125. as we focus our eyes on you

  126. we pray all this in Jesus name

  127. Amen

  128. Thank you very much

  129. Alright, I need everybody to stand up

  130. It's the stand up song

  131. I apologize in advance for a rhythm section

  132. because I'm going to irritate them

  133. I need two children volunteers

  134. that will participate in the next song

  135. and pay attention the entire time

  136. There's noise involved

  137. Tyler and Caleb, come here

  138. You don't have to stay up here

  139. You can take back to your seat

  140. Okay, so in the chorus of this song

  141. we're going to sing crazy the Lord

  142. and then clap clap

  143. Caleb and Tyler are going to be louder

  144. You need to clap louder than their instruments are

  145. Amalia is going to show you how to do it

  146. So follow her

  147. It's going to be a challenge

  148. because they're pretty loud

  149. Everybody stand up

  150. Clap louder when you're standing

  151. I don't know that that's true

  152. but you can sing louder when you're standing

  153. That is true

  154. Here we go

  204. We can fix it

  205. It was made by the gods

  206. You can't fix it

  207. Next time we'll be more careful

  208. Tikal was stuck on the barrier island

  236. After that part she dies out

  237. The ocean takes the heart

  238. And she believes in it

  239. And her grandma will pop up

  240. And she will remember never to give up

  241. I hug on your bed

  242. And it tells me that you are believing in yourself

  243. Very good

  244. Alright pray

  245. We are going to start pious and offer and then we will get back to the worship

  246. Okay

  254. For you, through you, and by you

  255. Lord please bless this time we have here

  256. Bless our days and bring the message

  260. That they would become on fire for the Lord

  261. God please bless us here

  307. I want to see you

  308. Is it time to go yet?

  309. Is it time to go yet?

  310. I don't know my love

  311. Not my power

  312. But love in my spirit is a roar

  313. Not my love

  314. Not my power

  315. But love in my spirit is a roar

  316. Sometimes it can hide your vision

  317. The flaws of her has shamed you down

  318. You think I've forgotten all you're dreaming of

  319. But how can I forget the one I love?

  320. And it's not my power

  321. Not my power

  322. But love in my spirit is a roar

  323. Not my love

  324. Not my power

  325. But love in my spirit is a roar

  326. When we've found that shall we renew

  327. Our wills when you're holding on

  328. And what I promised shall be done

  329. It's not my power

  330. Not my power

  331. But love in my spirit is a roar

  332. I can see your heart is tired

  333. When the courage has worn thin

  334. I wonder how long do I have to hang on

  335. When my love comes in

  336. When we've found our land

  337. It's not my power

  338. Not my power

  339. But love in my spirit is a roar

  340. Not my love

  341. Not my power

  342. But love in my spirit is a roar

  343. When we've found that shall we renew

  344. Our wills when you're holding on

  345. And what I promised shall be done

  346. It's not my power

  347. Not my love

  348. Not my power

  349. But love in my spirit is a roar

  350. Not my love

  351. Not my power

  352. But love in my spirit is a roar

  353. When we've found that shall we renew

  354. Our wills when you're holding on

  355. And what I promised shall be done

  356. Not my love

  357. Not my power

  358. But love in my spirit is a roar

  359. Not my love

  360. Not my power

  361. But love in my spirit is a roar

  362. Not my spirit is a roar

  363. We pray for blessings

  364. We pray for peace

  365. Convert from evil to good

  366. Convert from evil to good

  367. Convert from evil to good

  368. Convert for family protection while we sleep

  369. We pray for healing

  370. We pray for healing for prosperity

  371. We pray for your mighty hand

  372. To ease our suffering

  373. All the while you hear each spoke in me

  374. Your love is way too much to give us less a thing

  375. Cause what if your blood seems not to redraw

  376. What if your healing comes through tears

  377. What if a thousand slainless lives are what it takes

  378. To know you're near

  379. What if trials of this life are your first days in the sky

  380. We pray for wisdom

  381. We pray for your voice to hear

  382. We cry in anger when we cannot feel you near

  383. We pray for your love

  384. We pray for your peace

  385. We cry in anger when we cannot feel you near

  386. We doubt your goodness

  387. We doubt your love

  388. As if every promise from your word is not enough

  389. All the while you hear each desperate plea

  390. As long as we have faith to believe

  391. Cause what if your blood seems not to redraw

  392. What if your healing comes through tears

  393. What if a thousand slainless lives are what it takes

  394. To know you're near

  395. What if trials of this life are your first days in the sky

  396. When friends betray us

  397. When darkness seems to win we know

  398. The pain reminds us part

  399. That this is love, this is love

  400. Love

  401. Cause what if your blood seems to come through redraws

  402. What if your healing comes through tears

  403. What if a thousand sleepless lives are what it takes

  404. To know you're near

  405. What if my greatest disappointment

  406. Or the aching of this life

  407. Is not revealing all the greater thus

  408. This world can't satisfy

  409. What if trials of this life

  410. Are rainless storms, the hottest nights

  411. Are your mercies in the sky

  412. What if my greatest disappointment

  413. Is not revealing all the greater thus

  414. Well, we tried to just, you know, set stuff on top of it and nothing we had was even remotely

  415. close to enough weight.

  416. So I brought up the genius idea of, okay, well, let's set a car on top of it.

  417. So we had the car on a lift with just the front two tires up, we slid the plow blade

  418. under there and we started setting it down on the plow blade.

  419. What happened is, is the middle of it started to bow up.

  420. So we're like, okay, well now we need something straight, big enough that's going to handle

  421. the pressure to be able to sit on top of it.

  422. So we went out to the barn behind our shop and found a pole from a sign that they had

  423. put up and it was like probably seven foot.

  424. So we set that on the plow blade and then we set the truck on top of that.

  425. Nothing sketchy about that at all.

  426. But we knew going into that, that, okay, this was a really bad idea, but we had no other

  427. options and while the car and the stuff is sitting on this plow blade, me and Joshua

  428. under there with a torch and a welder heating this piece of metal up so it can form to the

  429. shape and he's welding, trying to make sure it stays that way.

  430. It was great.

  431. It was, it was funny, but it was, it was one, it was one of those moments where we both

  432. knew, okay, this was a really dumb idea, but we're going to do it anyways.

  433. So in today, what I've found is for one, it's not really that moment that matters that much.

  434. It's what happens afterwards.

  435. So if you have one of those moments where, okay, well, you know, it's a bad idea, but

  436. you do it anyways, and it turns out to work out really good, like luckily in mind of my

  437. coworkers, it worked out great.

  438. That's a good thing.

  439. So we're happy.

  440. We're like, okay, cool.

  441. We did it.

  442. We got it fixed and life went on.

  443. However, that could have catastrophically failed and that car could have fell off that

  444. beam that was sitting on the plow blade and crushed one of us.

  445. And it's the same with when you unintentionally do something that turns out to be a bad idea.

  446. When you do something like that, what matters is what's after that idea or whatever that

  447. scenario happens.

  448. So if you do something and you immediately realize the bad idea, do you try to do it

  449. again or do you try to do it a different way?

  450. Usually if it doesn't work out, you try to do it a different way, right?

  451. You know, because that's the definition of insanity is trying to do the same thing over

  452. and over again, expecting a different result that that is insanity.

  453. So instead you try to figure out a different way to do it or ask others how, hey, maybe

  454. they can help.

  455. But either way, what happens after is a lot more impactful than the actual situation you

  456. might be in.

  457. And like I said, I got that because of what Moses does in these couple of verses and the

  458. stuff I found in between.

  459. So we are going to look at Matthew chapter four, verse 21.

  460. Thanks, Ron.

  461. So it starts off by saying, now the Lord was angry with me on your account and I swore

  462. that I would not cross the Jordan and that I would not enter the good land, which the

  463. Lord your God is giving to you as an inheritance.

  464. So Moses already knew he wasn't going to get into the promised land.

  465. He knew he wasn't going to cross the Jordan because of the stuff that happened with Israel

  466. before they ended up in the wilderness and while they were in the wilderness.

  467. So Moses already knew that he wasn't going to make it in the promised land.

  468. So it shows how God held Moses accountable for what he was doing.

  469. Look back to when Moses struck the rock for water.

  470. That's not what God told him to do, but that's what he did anyways.

  471. And he knew that that was not the right thing to do, but he did it anyways.

  472. And now he has to pay the price for it.

  473. And it's the same with us.

  474. When we do something, we end up facing the consequences for whatever we do.

  475. And it just goes to show how God will hold us accountable for any, anything we do.

  476. God is going to hold us accountable for that.

  477. Then 22 says for I will die in this land.

  478. I shall not cross the Jordan, but shall cross, but you shall cross and take possession of

  479. this good land.

  480. And right here you can see how Moses humbles himself admitting that, okay, I'm going to

  481. die here because this is what God told me was going to happen.

  482. And he accepts that it's also, you can also see how no matter where you stand, no matter

  483. your title, whatever you are accountable by God for what you have to do.

  484. If God tells you to do something and you decide to not do that, you will be held accountable

  485. that it does not matter what your title is.

  486. Moses was a very, what would be considered a high ranking person.

  487. He had a lot of authority.

  488. However, he did not have authority over God.

  489. So God held him accountable for everything that he done.

  490. And right here you can see how he realizes this and he's pretty much come to acceptance

  491. with okay, this is, this is how it is now.

  492. I'm going to die here.

  493. I'm not going to see the promised land.

  494. I'm not going to see the good land that you guys are taking.

  495. And instead later you'll see that that's Joshua most probably already know that, but it's

  496. Joshua that ended up taking them over.

  497. But he admits that he knows he was accountable for the sins that Israel made and he made.

  498. For chapter four, verse 22.

  499. Yeah.

  500. I may have, if I did, I'm sorry.

  501. I meant Deuteronomy.

  502. If that's what I said, my bad.

  503. I have a note right here that says Matthew and I was looking at that when I said it.

  504. So it's highly possible that's exactly what I said.

  505. All right.

  506. Anyway we are going to continue and verse 23 says, so watch yourselves that you do not

  507. forget the covenant of the Lord your God, which he made with you and make your make

  508. for yourselves a driven image in the form of anything against which the Lord God has

  509. commanded you.

  510. So right here, Moses tell, he warns them, he's warning them, Hey, don't forget the promise

  511. you made with God and don't forget the promise God made with you.

  512. This is really important because we make promises all the time and there's a lot of times we

  513. don't keep those promises because stuff comes up, something gets in the way.

  514. So we can't stick to our commitments right here.

  515. Most is telling them to remember that what they have, that relationship they've had

  516. with God through the whole time they were in the wilderness, because the whole time

  517. they were there, that 40 years, their clothes didn't wear out.

  518. They never had to worry about food.

  519. They never had to worry about water.

  520. Their livestock was taken care of.

  521. So although they sinned against God, God still provided for them because he promised that

  522. he would take care of his people.

  523. And right here, most is telling them, look, this is what God promised.

  524. He promised you guys this.

  525. This is what's going to happen.

  526. You guys need to not forget the reason why we're here.

  527. He also warns them not to make an idol of anything that God forbid.

  528. So God is supposed to be at the very top, right?

  529. Anything we put at the top, either whether it's next to God or above God, that is not

  530. the right place for it.

  531. Everything needs to be below God because ultimately he has the power.

  532. He's in charge.

  533. He knows everything.

  534. So nothing can be put up there with God.

  535. And obviously when Moses was making, when God was making the 10 commandments, they made

  536. an idol of a calf and they were worshiping that and Moses came down and broke it.

  537. Because we need to remember that God is the head of our life.

  538. This also brings up the Matthew 5 37.

  539. It says, but let your statement be yes, yes, or no, no.

  540. Anything beyond this is evil.

  541. So when you make a commitment, you have to stick to that commitment.

  542. No matter how hard it is, you have to stick to that.

  543. And God is like that.

  544. When God tells us he's going to do something, it's going to happen.

  545. Now it might not happen when we want it to happen or when we think it's going to happen,

  546. but it's going to happen.

  547. So when you sin against God and you go against what he said, you may not get a punishment

  548. right away.

  549. It may not look obvious right away, but eventually you're going to be held accountable for everything

  550. you've done.

  551. I mean, just think back if we were still, if Adam and Eve didn't sin, where would we

  552. be?

  553. We'd probably be in a garden as beautiful as Adam and Eve was in and have no worries

  554. and have everything provided for us.

  555. But we can't do that because sin.

  556. And then the last verse is 24.

  557. It says, for the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

  558. So we are not spared from the mistakes we've made.

  559. Adam and Eve got kicked out of the Garden of Eden because they sinned against God.

  560. So they paid for their mistakes, just like we do.

  561. If you go out and you murder somebody, you get put in jail, you pay for your mistakes.

  562. And if you're a Christian, you are held to a much higher standard.

  563. You are supposed to be consciously living for God every day.

  564. Therefore you are not supposed to be purposely sinning.

  565. I'm going to go to Hebrews 12 28 real quick.

  566. Glad I have it on my phone.

  567. It's a lot faster that way.

  568. Then in Hebrews 12 28 it says, therefore we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken.

  569. Let us show gratitude by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence

  570. and awe for our God is a consuming fire.

  571. What does God give us all the time?

  572. Grace.

  573. Exactly.

  574. God gives us grace all the time.

  575. It's always there for us.

  576. When we mess up, He gives us grace.

  577. He forgives us for our sin and life goes on.

  578. When we mess up, what happens?

  579. Feel God's wrath.

  580. We pay for that.

  581. So all the stuff that's happening in the world right now, if you can sit there and for sure

  582. say we don't live in an unstable world, there's something wrong with you.

  583. We live in a very unstable world.

  584. There's so much bad and there's still good and there's but when it all boils down to

  585. our world has gotten so messed up because of the sins people make.

  586. So you can see how sin is also a consuming fire.

  587. Sin will spread.

  588. But however God's grace is the same way.

  589. If we show grace towards others and we forgive others, that spreads.

  590. And this is like a little bit of what Sherri was saying earlier.

  591. This is why I don't think we have as much good portrayed as we should because people

  592. are not willing to show people grace anymore.

  593. They want to dislike people just because they don't believe something instead of just moving

  594. on but also people aren't speaking up about the good things anymore.

  595. If we could actually speak up and show people how God's grace works, that would be the consuming

  596. fire on the other side of it.

  597. It would spread like crazy.

  598. And let's be honest, we need a revival in this world today.

  599. We need people to understand that God's grace is here for us.

  600. I mean look at what he did for the Israelites for that 40 years.

  601. He showed them grace for all that time they were in the wilderness.

  602. Even though they still deliberately sinned against God, he still showed them grace.

  603. He didn't wipe them off the face of the planet.

  604. Even though he wanted to, but Moses told him not to.

  605. And then they still were given the essentials they needed because of grace.

  606. And something else to see here is we are a part of a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

  607. Nothing on this world, nothing that can happen in your own life can shake the kingdom of

  608. God.

  609. If you are fully in and live for Jesus, nothing you do will shake that.

  610. You are there, you are stuck there permanently, nothing can take that away from you.

  611. Our relationship with God is our stability in an unstable world.

  612. So if you ever feel like your world is falling apart and things aren't going right and everything

  613. is crashing down around you, you stand on what Jesus says, you will be able to be stable

  614. through all of that.

  615. Have any of you guys ever experienced an earthquake?

  616. You lived over there.

  617. I was in California a few years back for the military and we had an earthquake on the base

  618. and it was the weirdest thing I've ever experienced in my life.

  619. And it wasn't even that bad of one, but it was the weirdest thing ever.

  620. And everything starts shaking and you feel real off balance.

  621. That's how our world is.

  622. And if we stand with God, we can completely ignore that because our stability comes from

  623. Christ.

  624. That's it.

  625. You want a good stable life, you want to be able to be secure in your position, you got

  626. to understand that the kingdom of God is that.

  627. Exactly.

  628. We also have to serve as though we were working for God.

  629. Everything we do in our life has to be for God, whether it's your daily job, your ministry

  630. or whatever.

  631. You have to do that as though you were doing it for God, which kind of goes into this first

  632. point here.

  633. We have to understand, we have to come to the realization that in our ministries, we

  634. are replaceable.

  635. If you are not doing what God tells you to do, he will replace you.

  636. He replaced Moses with Joshua.

  637. You are replaceable.

  638. If you are deliberately not living for God, even though you said you want to, God is eventually

  639. going to replace you with somebody that will.

  640. Moses understood this because he even said, in this land I will die, I will not cross

  641. the Jordan with you.

  642. He understood that he was going to be replaced.

  643. It all boils down to what he was being held accountable for what he did.

  644. If you make a promise to God, you have to understand you are making a vow to do the

  645. right thing and God is making that same commitment with you.

  646. He will give you the strength, he will give you everything you need in order to do that.

  647. The second thing is, you are not spared from sin.

  648. No matter what your title is, your sins will be accounted for, but we are not free from

  649. death.

  650. Eventually we are going to die.

  651. Everyone in here is going to die, everyone has an expiration date.

  652. What happens after that death?

  653. Hopefully, if you are saved, you go to heaven.

  654. But you think when you get there you are still not going to have to account for everything

  655. you have done?

  656. Look at what it says in the Bible, you will be judged on that day, you will be held accountable.

  657. The last thing, we need to understand that we are part of a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

  658. We are in the most solid kingdom, the most solid thing you could ever think of if you

  659. are a believer in Christ.

  660. You no longer have to worry about the worldly things and what is going on outside the world.

  661. You no longer have to worry about all the negative stuff the media portrays or social

  662. media or whatever.

  663. You don't have to worry about that anymore because where we stand in God, all of that

  664. is nothing except fuel for us to go out there and do God's work.

  665. That's all it should do.

  666. You see all this stuff on TV or whatnot about how people get murdered and everything, then

  667. you do God's work.

  668. Don't sit back and just go, oh, I really wish somebody would do something about that or

  669. somebody really needs to fix this.

  670. God has called us to do his work.

  671. If you truly look to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you have everything you need.

  672. Like I said, we will be able to see the grace of God spread like a wildfire, but it's up

  673. to us as Christians to stand up and say something instead of sitting down and just taking it.

  674. Look at how many churches now openly accept gay marriage because that's what they were

  675. forced to do or how many churches shut down when COVID happened.

  676. We have to be able to be standing on... Remember that we stand where nothing can shake us.

  677. If we go out there and do the work of God, then God's kingdom will grow more.

  678. I was approached by Dan when all that started, when all the stuff with COVID started and

  679. churches were shutting down.

  680. He asked me if one person from my family would go to church every Sunday, even if they banned

  681. us from going to churches.

  682. I said, yeah, with some hesitation because if I get thrown in jail for going to church

  683. because they wanted to close churches down, then that leaves my wife and my kids alone

  684. by themselves.

  685. But I knew that God would take care of them, although it's here the crap out of me to think

  686. that that was actually a real possibility.

  687. But this is the kind of stuff we're going to face.

  688. We have to realize that there's so much against the church and it's getting worse.

  689. The problem is because we aren't standing up for our rights, our belief.

  690. That's what we need to do.

  691. We need to be able to stand up and tell people, look, I'm going to do God's work whether you

  692. want me to or not.

  693. That's just how it is.

  694. I tell my kids all the time, the only time you're ever allowed to disobey me is if I

  695. tell you to do something that God specifically told you not to do.

  696. I was like, that's the only time they're allowed to disobey me.

  697. And Jason actually called me out on it once.

  698. Not going to get into that because it's a long story, but he actually, it was really

  699. funny, but he called me out on it once.

  700. But it goes to show again, how God's kingdom works.

  701. I said, Moses knew all of this when he was standing on the other side of the Jordan.

  702. He knew the responsibilities, his accountability.

  703. He knew all of that and it is shown to us.

  704. We have the examples in the Bible of countless examples in the Bible of how we can see how

  705. grace is and how God's wrath is.

  706. We see it throughout the whole Bible.

  707. So short, sweet and to the point, in conclusion.

  708. So if you ever tried to do something bad and you did it and you didn't get caught, stole

  709. something, snuck something into your room when your parents told you not to snuck on

  710. TV.

  711. I've done, I've done plenty of things where I'm like, yeah, I didn't get caught and I

  712. just did that.

  713. So how do you, if you think about that, how would it make you feel knowing that God knows?

  714. You may think you didn't get caught, but God knows.

  715. But the best part is, is God still forgives you.

  716. Even when we don't deserve it, God still forgives us.

  717. We need to understand that we are called to something and we need to do it the best of

  718. our ability.

  719. We also need to be humble in our situations.

  720. We need to realize that we're not better than anyone.

  721. I mean, I'm no better than Aaron.

  722. I'm just a guy.

  723. Aaron's just a guy.

  724. He may know more things than I do, but I know more things than he does.

  725. So we're not, we can't put ourselves on this high pedestal.

  726. So if you're a part of the kingdom of God and you know this and you know where you stand,

  727. you know you're a believer, you've accepted Jesus, then you need to look in your life

  728. and realize, are you still deliberately sinning against God?

  729. Because if you are, there is a problem.

  730. We should never be willingly sinning against God.

  731. I'm not saying that accidents don't happen.

  732. I'm not going to sit here and say you can never sin against God because that'd just

  733. be ridiculous.

  734. However, I am confident enough to say that we should never purposely sin against God.

  735. Instead we are to honor God.

  736. We are to obey God.

  737. So in a way of closing, I'm going to have, I guess a short sweep to the point.

  738. But in a way of closing, I want the music team to come up here.

  739. We're going to sing a song, but I want you guys to look in your own life, in your own

  740. heart and realize that every sin you commit, God is going to hold you accountable for that.

  741. You will face God's wrath.

  742. But also on the flip side of this, understand that we have the grace of God because he loves

  743. us.

  744. He chose us as his own people.

  745. So we have the grace of God to forgive us, but you can't keep purposely intentionally

  746. sinning against God when you're saved.

  747. It just has to stop.

  748. This is me too.

  749. I'm talking to myself here.

  750. As Christians, we are called to a higher standard because we are chosen by God.

  751. Just like Israel, just like Moses.

  752. We are called by God to do his work.

  753. Therefore we have to do his work.

  754. And if we get to a point where everything seems to be falling and nothing's going right,

  755. just remember you stand on the solid rock of Christ.

  756. You cannot be pushed around.

  757. You cannot be shaken.

  758. You stand on the most solid foundation ever given to us and that is Jesus.

  759. So keep pushing forward and realize that we are loved and cherished.

  760. And just like Moses did with Israel, we are still held accountable for everything.

  761. Jesus, I surrender all to him my freely give.

  762. I will love the love and trust him in his presence in the air.

  763. I surrender all, I surrender all to be my God and Savior.

  764. I surrender all.

  765. Thanks for listening to this podcast by New Heights Fellowship Baptist Church of East

  766. Toledo.

  767. New Heights Fellowship Baptist Church of East Toledo was a Southern Baptist Church plant

  768. and ultimately settled at 255 Hefner Street in Toledo, Ohio, which is the old Hefner School

  769. building given to us by TPS through the city of Toledo due to their recognizing just how

  770. awesome New Heights is.

  771. Well, okay.

  772. They saw our impact on the community and they saw a building that was going to waste and

  773. they put the two together and here we are blessed to be in this building.

  774. We're a relatively young church looking for people to come and join us.

  775. Would you consider coming to plug in?

  776. Send your family, send your friends.

  777. Let's reach New Heights and Jesus together.

  778. You've been listening to Brother R.J.

  779. Sho preaching from Deuteronomy 4 as we've been working our way through the book of Deuteronomy.

  780. Pastor Dan was out of the service today after announcements visiting a church in Southern

  781. Michigan that's looking at trying to revive and come back to life and they're interested

  782. in New Heights possibly joining them.

  783. So would you join us in prayer?

  784. That church remains unnamed because we don't have that permission yet, but would you join

  785. us in prayer that they would indeed decide to pursue growth in the kingdom of God and

  786. that we'd be able to help them?

  787. Look forward to many events coming from New Heights.

  788. We've got book bags being circulated through our pantry for all the Saturdays and Sundays

  789. of August as long as the book bags last, which I don't know how long that's going to be.

  790. So if you want to come to the pantry and get groceries if you're eligible and you can come

  791. get book bags for your students, students do need to be present for that.

  792. And we're supporting the Southside Life Station.

  793. Southside Life Station is a food and clothing pantry that is a ministry of Northwest Ohio

  794. Baptist Association here in Toledo.

  795. We'd love to have you support the Life Station with us.

  796. You can do that through donations of gently used and clean, ready to be given away clothing

  797. or other odds and end miscellaneous household items.

  798. Nothing bigger than a microwave please because we just don't have space for it.

  799. You can do it by volunteering to deliver or to pack groceries for delivery or for pickup

  800. or for people who need it.

  801. We've got hundreds and hundreds of boxes and bags that can be packed pretty much every

  802. day.

  803. We could always use help with that.

  804. Opening and hanging clothing sorting by age and gender in our clothing pantry.

  805. You can also do it by recruiting others to help us.

  806. You can be an enlistment partner enlisting folks to donate or enlisting folks to come

  807. and serve or spread the word so that we can help people and let them know that we can

  808. help.

  809. We do deliver to the entire city of Toledo and we have folks come and pick up from our

  810. front door as well.

  811. We are facing a $60,000 deficit for the fiscal year 23.

  812. So if you know someone who is interested in giving financially any little bit will help

  813. and spread the word.

  814. When you go to your doctor, when you go to your dentist, when you go to the store, whatever,

  815. let people know that they have the opportunity to give to the Salus.life station and the

  816. awesome work that the life station is doing.

  817. You can read more about it on LifeStationToledo.com.

  818. Encourage you to download our app, Life for Toledo.

  819. It's in the app store regardless of whether you're on Android or iOS.

  820. And then you also, from there or on your own, you can get a free subscription to Right Now

  821. Media for the next year or so.

  822. I think we're ending at the end of June next year.

  823. Our church has arranged for free subscriptions to Right Now Media for anybody who is interested

  824. in looking in our general direction.

  825. And that is basically like a streaming service similar to Netflix or one of those.

  826. And it has 20,000 plus Bible studies on there and 2,500 plus kids shows all family friendly

  827. and many of them Bible based.

  828. And you can get that for free.

  829. You can text NHFBCT, as in New Heights Fellowship Baptist Church of Toledo, NHFBCT to 49775.

  830. So you just go in right where you'd put a phone number in if you were texting and put

  831. 49775 and then you text NHFBCT and it will send you the link.

  832. Then you click on the link and then you go in there and put in your email address and

  833. choose a password and you're ready to sign into Right Now Media and start watching free

  834. programs, Bible studies and kids programs and all kinds of good stuff on there.

  835. You also can do it via the app, the bottom link on the front page I think it is, the

  836. bottom button if you push that button it says Right Now Media and you get it that way.

  837. That's in our app Life for Toledo.

  838. So there's a lot of good stuff going on and that's just the beginning of it.

  839. Obviously you already know about our podcast because you're listening to it but please

  840. spread the word about that.

  841. You might not know about the Life for Toledo podcast which is a podcast of two minute encouraging

  842. messages and then also a wide variety of other things will be showing up on there.

  843. At New Heights we've got a bunch of ministries that you can plug into.

  844. If you happen to be a Christian gamer you can plug into our Christian games ministry.

  845. That's cards, board games, board games, role playing games, all kinds of stuff like that.

  846. We have our arts and crafts ministry that needs folks as we can do some arts and crafting

  847. in groups and also in decorations, decorations for events that we have, some art contests

  848. that are regularly going on and so on.

  849. One of those is going on even as this podcast is being posted.

  850. You can make a 30 second thank you video or just a fun video talking about the Life Station

  851. in some way and as soon as we get seven of those we're going to give away a $50 gift

  852. card to the winner.

  853. So you're welcome to kind of come up with an innovative way to either thank or just

  854. promote the Life Station and you can win a $50 gift card to I think it's Walmart but

  855. can't quote me on that but it's a $50, it might be a $50 Visa gift card but it's anyway

  856. it's a $50 gift card.

  857. Please connect up with us any and every way and spread the word.

  858. It is July 25th, 2022.

  859. You've been listening to the sermon from July 24th, 2022.

  860. You might be listening to this years later and so some of what I've just said may not

  861. be current but I would love to connect up with you.

  862. As long as I'm still serving the Lord I would love you to come and serve with me, alongside

  863. of me as we serve Jesus.

  864. Let us reach new heights in Jesus.

  865. Wherever we are you may live thousands of miles away.

  866. It's okay, do it right there.

  867. Enjoy our podcasts, enjoy connecting to Right Now Media and overcome evil with good right

  868. where you live and then plug into a local church near you and begin to serve and give

  869. through that body and maybe you can connect our body to that body.

  870. That would be great.

  871. Anyway, God bless you today.

  872. May the Lord shine down on you his many blessings and fill you with his Holy Spirit and lead

  873. you in the paths of righteousness down the highway of holiness.

  874. There will be sorrow and sighing but ultimately all that will be gone and we'll be with him

  875. in glory and I'll see you at the tree as we worship our sovereign God eternally.

  876. God bless you.
