We did our,
-
100 mile bike ride for missions.
-
It was very exciting.
-
It wasn't exciting.
-
One guy rode
-
by me one time and and, and at
-
the I was kind of keeping I was
-
in the rear, kind of keeping everybody, because
-
people would have flats.
-
As I'm saying that, there's 20 bicycles riding
-
by outside.
-
That is odd. So,
-
kind of keeping up the rear and kind
-
of, you know, if somebody has a flat
-
and that happened, if somebody broke their chain,
-
which was me.
-
So
-
this guy this one this guy was kind
-
of dropping back. And as he was come
-
back, I'm just riding beside him encouraging him.
-
But when he first dropped back out, I
-
could hear him saying, just keep pedaling. Just
-
keep pedaling.
-
I was like, that's a sad place to
-
be.
-
Because that was like mile 4.
-
Yeah, it wasn't.
-
One of the things I wanted to mention
-
is that that,
-
Liz,
-
Josh and Liz and I were the 3
-
from our church that were doing this, and
-
Liz finished the entire
-
100 miles.
-
She's the first girl that has done this
-
for, in all of our district rights.
-
I think last year, she did like 80
-
or something like that.
-
And,
-
and some of the rest did 60 something.
-
100 ks is what they did instead of
-
a 100 miles. And, but she finished and
-
and she wasn't like coming in drag and
-
praying that Lord would take her kind of
-
thing. And she was coming in she was
-
coming in okay. And so it was
-
it was good.
-
Also I want to continue to remind
-
you, please pray for Israel. Guys, all the
-
stuff that is happening just this week,
-
the president of Turkey, Erdogan,
-
or whatever you say his name,
-
he
-
he is building a coalition,
-
trying to build a coalition with all the
-
Arab States
-
that,
-
all the Arab countries
-
to combine together
-
against
-
Israel. This is,
-
this is like a whole another level, right?
-
And and and
-
here's part of the deal with this. There
-
has you have to process that
-
everything that is going on there, including this
-
this week that that Turkey is doing now,
-
all of this is looking a whole lot
-
more like Ezekiel 38 every day.
-
Okay? So you you gotta keep your eyes
-
on that kind of stuff. When that goes
-
down, and I'm gonna talk about that a
-
little bit here, but when that goes down,
-
guys, everything
-
now that that to me, this is the
-
way I see it. It's like the plug
-
is pulled and everything is draining.
-
We're in the end times, like like tribulation
-
time frame kind of stuff. And I'll explain
-
that because I'm gonna be speaking about that
-
this morning. But but, but to really be
-
praying, praying for Israel, guys, our responsibility is
-
to pray for them. Now,
-
get ahead of myself. So, you know, we've
-
been we've been trying to build we're we're
-
not going to be able to build this
-
week. We just can't I mean, this this
-
month this what is what year? We're not
-
going to be able to build this year.
-
We've been trying to get the financing. It
-
just didn't work out again. Although, I did
-
get an interesting call. Just throw this out
-
here as a little teaser that probably
-
won't happen. But
-
I got a call from a group that
-
is interested in financing our building.
-
And it's interestingly,
-
it is
-
a group, a company
-
that is being run by
-
a guy I went to college with and
-
have stayed very close friends with
-
over the last 35
-
years.
-
And, it was just he just, out of
-
the blue, said, hey, do you would you
-
like us to finance your building?
-
I was like, is this a joke? Because
-
I've known you for a long time and,
-
you know, I so I don't know. That
-
may not play out. I'm not, you know,
-
if it's God, it's God. If it's not,
-
you know, that's fine too.
-
Rezone the property out here so that we
-
can sell it,
-
so that we can build. Right? We still
-
need about 2,000,000, to do this and that
-
would potentially,
-
give us that extra 2,000,000. Alright. Which is
-
which is kind of what we're trying to
-
borrow, but more and stuff like that. So,
-
so with that, when you do the rezoning,
-
they because there was a lot of emails
-
and stuff sent to the city, the city
-
set up a meeting here Thursday night
-
for,
-
us to hear from the community.
-
Okay? I didn't tell you guys
-
because I didn't necessarily want you here.
-
Couple people that riled up a lot of
-
the community, and they do not want us
-
to do anything with the property out here.
-
And I'm not making this up. This is
-
the things they said. We they sent these
-
to us in emails and then people said
-
this in the meeting
-
that they don't want us to put in
-
a porn shop,
-
a
-
liquor store,
-
a marijuana
-
dispensary.
-
So I finally said,
-
do you have a clue who we are
-
as a church?
-
How does that benefit
-
our children?
-
You know, that kind of thing. And it
-
and it was, it was a little spicy.
-
They they came after us pretty good, came
-
after me quite a bit.
-
But for the most part, like, 98%, I
-
kept my cool.
-
I did snippet 1 person one time. Just
-
you're just like, whatever. You know? But,
-
so with that, we're gonna kinda go back
-
to the drawing board and see if there's
-
a way that we could still do what
-
we wanna do and
-
and the the zoning is what was bothering
-
them. It's too wide of a zoning. You
-
can put anything in there. We explained,
-
we sell the property. We can put any
-
covenant we want on that property.
-
They can only build
-
what we allow them to build,
-
or we won't sell it.
-
And nobody was buying that. Nobody was, no.
-
That's not how it works. I'm like, but
-
it does work that way. And so that's
-
the law. But either way, we're gonna try
-
to maybe change the zoning, make it something
-
that'll the community would be more comfortable with.
-
We're not really sure,
-
but, man, there was just a lot of
-
angry people,
-
really going after us. Now since then, interestingly,
-
I've gotten a lot of messages, emails, got
-
a few last night I was answering. People
-
were saying, I was in the meeting, and
-
I I feel bad about how they treated
-
you.
-
And, this is a good church, and our
-
kids have gone to VBS and those kind
-
of things. And so so it wasn't all
-
bad, but it was all bad in the
-
meeting. So
-
but we'll just keep you posted on that.
-
If if we do change the zoning, it
-
won't be it won't be a long process.
-
We're already right there. We could just change
-
the the lettering
-
and, and fix it. So, alright. I'm gonna
-
be speaking
-
this morning about
-
the the tribulation
-
and the rapture.
-
I don't usually get that response, but
-
but, and and here's the thing. There's a
-
few things I I wanna do. Part of
-
the reason I do it, I do it
-
every time this year, this time of year.
-
I do it every year this time of
-
year because
-
of, the fall feasts, and I'm gonna explain
-
all that.
-
But I I really do believe in a
-
pre tribulation rapture, and I'm gonna explain why.
-
But I know there's different people throughout our
-
church, I would say, a good handful,
-
that don't believe,
-
in a pre tribulation. They believe mid
-
or post tribulation.
-
And so I am gonna try to convince
-
you you're wrong and that I'm right this
-
morning. But
-
with that being said,
-
always say it so that we understand. Because
-
we don't we this is not a 100%.
-
You can't just say we know for sure
-
exactly this way it goes because it hasn't
-
happened.
-
Enough ambiguity within scripture for a couple of
-
reasons that I'll explain, which makes it a
-
little challenging to pinpoint exactly. So with that,
-
my my stance is always I believe a
-
100%
-
in a pre tribulation rapture until the tribulation
-
starts.
-
And then I a 100%
-
believe in a mid tribulation rapture
-
until day 1 after the mid, and then
-
I am
-
completely and at that point, we're all on
-
board with a post tribulation
-
rapture. Right? Okay.
-
Now with that being said, I do believe
-
strongly in in pre tribulation rapture, and I
-
think there's a lot of reasons. So usually,
-
I go over the timelines.
-
What I mean by the timelines is,
-
the Lord said that once Israel becomes a
-
nation again, that that generation will not pass
-
away until he comes back.
-
And,
-
and Psalms says that,
-
that that a generation, are we a full
-
generation of of human being is 70 to
-
80 years. Okay. 1948,
-
we are in year 76
-
of
-
that time frame. And so
-
and I do believe that that 70, 80
-
years is given to us by God as
-
one of the visuals that we're supposed to
-
understand
-
and recognize that, Jesus is going to come
-
back during that 7 to 80 years. I
-
believe that pretty strongly. I don't, you know,
-
at at year 81, I'll relook at my
-
numbers.
-
But I do believe that. I do think
-
that that's true. Now usually, I focus on
-
some of that. I'm gonna focus on a
-
little bit different things,
-
this time looking at
-
I always always look at the feasts
-
because that's the key to the whole thing.
-
The feasts are the key. So I'm gonna
-
go to Colossians chapter 2 verse 16.
-
Says, don't let anyone condemn you for what
-
you eat or drink or for not celebrating
-
certain holy days or new moon ceremonies or
-
Sabbaths.
-
This scripture. 1 is that,
-
when
-
when this was said,
-
most of the church at that time was
-
Jewish. Like, overwhelmingly, most was Jewish. There were
-
some Gentiles starting to come in because Luke
-
had written the book of Acts, and the
-
book of Acts is very much like a
-
a white paper on why Gentiles could be
-
a part of this thing. But but this
-
but it was mostly Jewish. And so what
-
he was trying to say
-
here is they were picking on all the
-
new kids coming in, and, and they they,
-
you know, they weren't going by all the
-
feasts or whatever. And Paul was explaining,
-
as did Peter and a lot of other
-
things, is you don't have to go by
-
the feasts. The feasts have been fulfilled in
-
Christ.
-
As long as you understand Jesus, you don't
-
have to fulfill the feasts. Okay?
-
And so that and now and this is
-
important too because there are some different groups.
-
Now these are mostly what you would call
-
Hebrewist today,
-
but they are woven throughout the Messianic,
-
Jewish church
-
to a detriment of the messianic Jewish church.
-
And they are trying to pull,
-
the Jewish groups, specifically messianic Jews
-
back into old testament law just like just
-
like Peter did, telling them they have to
-
be circumcised. You're the one who revealed to
-
us through the vision that God gave you
-
that they don't need to do that anymore.
-
For a Christian. That that's the messianic part.
-
Jesus fulfilled all that. There's no there's no
-
restrictions of of how you have to fulfill
-
the feast and all this stuff. And this
-
is part of
-
what Paul is saying here. You don't have
-
to you don't have to do all of
-
that stuff. Okay? And when somebody tells you
-
that you do, go to this scripture, remind
-
yourself that they are preaching something that is
-
not with scripture.
-
Okay? I pick on these things all the
-
time. I every now and then I have
-
somebody come along that tells me I can't
-
eat bacon. And I'm like, the bible tells
-
me I can.
-
Specifically tells me I can.
-
It shows it.
-
Eat bacon. I mean, doesn't use the word
-
bacon probably.
-
So so here's the thing with this. There
-
is another side to this and this is
-
just as important.
-
It says that these feasts and things are
-
a shadow are shadows
-
of the reality to come
-
and that Jesus Christ himself is that reality.
-
Now, if you're not careful, what you do
-
is you say, okay, all these old testament
-
feasts bring us up to Jesus,
-
dying on the cross, he is the reality
-
of that. He has fulfilled all of that
-
theme of the Old Testament is Jesus is
-
coming. That's the point of the whole thing.
-
If
-
you get that, you get the you get
-
the Old Testament. You understand
-
Jesus is coming. The theme of the new
-
testament
-
is Jesus is coming again. He is still
-
the reality
-
that these feasts are talking about. And some
-
of the stuff that has not happened yet,
-
Old Testament first. Because why? Jesus is still
-
the reality.
-
So even though you don't have to
-
go by all the feast and celebrate the
-
the the festivals and all that stuff, it's
-
very I think it's
-
I think it's very naive to think you
-
don't need to know the information.
-
Because the information
-
is still telling us about stuff that has
-
not happened yet.
-
This is important.
-
Okay?
-
So let me let me go through
-
the feast. You have the spring feast, and
-
I'm gonna show you a couple of things
-
this year you probably haven't
-
heard before.
-
That you've got the the spring feasts. Okay.
-
The the two names we'll focus on, but
-
there's others,
-
simple,
-
understanding of Passover is, the Egyptians
-
were had made slaves of the Israelites, and
-
Israelites are calling out to God. And God
-
says, okay, I'll deliver you. You've sent Moses.
-
Moses comes in the 10 plagues.
-
And the 10th plague
-
is,
-
I'm gonna kill all of the firstborn,
-
in the families,
-
of every family. It doesn't matter who Egyptian
-
is, it doesn't matter. But here's how you,
-
save yourself
-
from this destruction.
-
As you take a lamb, and there were
-
some criteria on that, take a lamb and
-
how they made bread, all of this stuff
-
is important in the story. And this is
-
what we do every year at at our
-
spring seder
-
dinner here at the church because it's a
-
celebration of Passover, but with all of the
-
understanding of Jesus being fulfilled and explained.
-
K? So you take the lamb, you kill
-
the lamb, you take the blood of the
-
lamb and you put it over your doorpost
-
or you cover your house with the blood
-
of the lamb, and that saves you from
-
death.
-
Okay?
-
Then they all left after that. So when
-
John the Baptist is is, baptizing Jesus
-
and Jesus comes walking up, he says, behold
-
the lamb of God
-
that takes away the sins of the world.
-
Every person there immediately knew and everybody that
-
that's had any Jewish background
-
knew immediately even when we write it and
-
they read it now, that that meant
-
that Jesus
-
is that lamb in Exodus
-
that is the Passover lamb. And this is
-
a feast and a and a
-
festival that is celebrated
-
every single year at in the spring during
-
Passover.
-
We now have changed that a little bit
-
and come up with something actually,
-
it's a different thing.
-
We call it Easter.
-
K. It's not exactly because it's been changed
-
enough that it doesn't put the focus on
-
all this, but that's where Easter came from
-
was the concept of Passover.
-
And yes, it was changed and twisted by
-
different,
-
religious groups and things like that. And then
-
a bunny got involved and a bunch of,
-
you know, chocolate eggs and stuff like that.
-
Did the the that's where it came from.
-
And so every year for for about 3000
-
years, the Jews have celebrated passover. What is
-
the point of passover?
-
That they are looking forward to the Messiah
-
coming. They're looking back and realizing that that
-
that little animal lamb
-
is going to be fulfilled someday in a
-
Messiah. That's why at Passover, there is a
-
Messiah's cup. Every single time you do Passover,
-
you have a messiah's cup and nobody drinks
-
out of that cup.
-
Nobody drinks out of that cup
-
because it's the messiah's cup. Now, Jesus,
-
when he dies on the cross,
-
he died
-
on Passover.
-
That is not coincidence.
-
In fact, the Lord had planned for him
-
to die on Passover
-
before
-
Passover happened.
-
Jesus had been
-
ordained,
-
anointed to die on Passover.
-
Okay? This is this is vitally important. That's
-
why they did all that. They didn't do
-
all of that and then, oh, by the
-
way, that would be a great time for
-
Jesus to die.
-
They did all of that to set up
-
that Jesus was going to die
-
on that day. And so they've been practicing
-
this and and celebrating this for 3000 years.
-
Now then,
-
50 days after Passover
-
is a festival
-
called Pentecost. They've been doing this a long
-
time. If if you're only a New Testament
-
reader, first that's a bad idea because you
-
don't understand the big picture.
-
But you think that Pentecost is what happens
-
on acts chapter 2.
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
It is not what happens on acts chapter
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
2. It was fulfilled
-
on acts chapter 2 of a festival that
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
they had been celebrating
-
for literally centuries upon centuries.
-
Okay. These were all festivals and feasts that
-
God established
-
and said, practice these every year. And the
-
the
-
the feast or the festival of Pentecost
-
the reason it was called Pentecost is 50
-
days after
-
Passover.
-
Beginning
-
of
-
the harvest. This is when everybody started the
-
the, the, planting and and
-
harvesting season,
-
okay, like springtime. That's what it is. Now,
-
it is not coincidence that the Holy Spirit,
-
when it says in acts 1 verse 8,
-
and you will receive power after the Holy
-
Spirit has come upon you,
-
Jerusalem, Jadais, Samarian to the ends of the
-
earth. That that is the day the Holy
-
Spirit chooses
-
to pour in
-
for the first time in human history, to
-
pour into people rather than using people
-
by his power. This is what John says
-
when he says,
-
later he will be,
-
in you. Right now he's with you. Later
-
he will be in you.
-
For the first time, the Holy Spirit is
-
now
-
empowering or indwelling believers,
-
right? They're already believers.
-
They're already Christians. And now, he empowers
-
Christians.
-
And he does it consistently, constantly,
-
as a in our Christian life. That is
-
the day the holy spirit, entered into human
-
existence this way, the day that the harvest
-
begins. This is part of the reason for
-
the speaking in tongues, Right? What are we
-
supposed to be doing? We're supposed to be
-
going and telling people
-
about Jesus. And speaking in tongues is not
-
only a constant reminder, but it's the process
-
of how we're being empowered and filled. And
-
so we're we're speaking in tongues, we're praying
-
in tongues, and that is the vehicle
-
that takes the gospel to the world.
-
None of that is coincidence. Every single element
-
of this is is vitally important and it's
-
and it's all part of the bigger story
-
that started way back in the old testament.
-
Alright?
-
Now, those are the spring,
-
festivals. Then you come through the summer,
-
through the time frame of the,
-
planting seeds, sowing seeds, those kind of things.
-
And you come to the end of the
-
harvest.
-
Okay.
-
This is where
-
you have 3
-
basic feasts. You have the feast of trumpets,
-
which is the end of the harvest. They
-
blow a bunch of trumpets and everybody comes
-
in and the harvest is now over.
-
Coincidence.
-
Okay? Then you have the Feast of Tabernacles
-
which is I'm sorry,
-
the day of atonement which is today we
-
call
-
it Yom Yom Kippur
-
is
-
ready for the Lord to return. Okay? Then
-
you have the feast of tabernacles which is
-
everybody goes outside the city and camps in
-
tents outside the city.
-
So and it's called tabernacling.
-
When they do that, it is to remind
-
them that they are temporary residents on this
-
earth.
-
That's the point of this.
-
None of this is coincidence.
-
K? Those are the fall festivals. The reason
-
the reason I'm preaching the sermon today
-
is because that starts this year in October
-
3rd and goes those 3 feasts go through,
-
October 24th, from October 3rd to October 24th.
-
And why am I doing it now? Because
-
I want you at least to be ready
-
if the rapture happens this year. Because I
-
believe
-
that's the time frame of the year that
-
the rapture is going to appear.
-
Right?
-
Not necessarily this year, but I will get
-
back to you.
-
The rapture I believe I believe that everything
-
in scripture is showing
-
dies on the cross on Passover, holy spirits
-
poured out on Pentecost. In fact, when I
-
was growing up, I heard this regularly.
-
I would hear
-
the poster, whatever.
-
When it talks about in Acts chapter 2
Acts 2 chapter mention
-
that everybody was in 1 quarter, everybody was
-
unit in unity,
-
then the Holy Spirit was poured out. That
-
is not the right way to look at
-
that scripture. Okay? It is not. But usually,
-
the pastor is trying to preach a message
-
because there's a lot of disunity in the
-
church and he wants to bring unity and
-
he's using the big one that's the empowerment
-
of the holy spirit so that everybody will
-
get along and specifically get along with him.
-
That I really believe that's the reason that
-
was preached because being in one accord had
-
nothing to do with when the holy spirit
-
was being poured.
-
Key ingredient to
-
when the Holy Spirit's poured out? The day
-
on the calendar called Pentecost. That was the
-
day that the Holy Spirit was going to
-
be poured out.
-
Whether people were unified or
-
not,
-
it was gonna be on that day.
-
Okay? Anybody that was in unity with the
-
Lord were gonna be filled with the Holy
-
Spirit. That's all you had to have. Alright?
-
Now,
-
let me back up just a little bit
-
and mention
-
that the time frame now that that is
-
called the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of
-
Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles, that's all
-
kind of been included together.
-
And that has been called It's now being
-
called Rosh Hashanah.
-
Now, that's a Jewish tradition that is not
-
biblical.
-
Okay? Jewish tradition is RashaShana.
-
But there's some problems with this that I
-
think has been a little bit of deception
-
over over the cent over the millennial
-
of
-
deception here. And let me you'll get it
-
when I explain this. Rasha,
-
shaana is the celebration
-
of the new year, the Jewish new year.
-
So that's the beginning of the year.
-
They in fact, when they go around, they
-
they shout out Shana Tova,
-
and then
-
they will,
-
bless you. Happy new year. Okay? Now, this
-
is the reason they do that is because
-
they consider this new year.
-
But there's some problems with that.
-
One is,
-
the biggest one is in scripture
-
in Exodus chapter 12,
Exodus 12 chapter mention
-
it specifically
-
says that passover is the beginning of the
-
year,
-
not the feast of trumpets. Rosh Hashanah is
-
not a word in the bible. Okay. That's
-
a Jewish creation. That's a Jewish tradition.
-
They still celebrate the 3 feasts in the
-
fall, but they've included them together to call
-
Rosh Hashanah.
-
But the the beginning of the year according
-
to Exodus 12 is Passover. You say does
-
that matter? Yes.
-
Because 7 months later,
-
the 7th month
-
is the Feast of Tabernacles
-
or the the, I'm sorry, the feast of
-
trumpets begins this. That is the 7th month
-
of the year. To me, there's there's not
-
a coincidence
-
that creation is 7 days.
-
6 days God's God rests.
-
The earth is I mean, people on the
-
earth since Adam and Eve I don't want
-
to explain all that. But just since Adam
-
and Eve till now
-
is,
-
right at 6000 years.
-
The 7th is God's,
-
completion
-
finality
-
of these things,
-
and that's the 7th month. Well that was
-
changed. So so mentally people are not processing
-
nowadays.
-
The fact that the Feast of Trumpets
-
is gonna be on the 7th month, they
-
say that's the 1st month.
-
But the 1st month is actually the beginning
-
of the story, the day Jesus dies on
-
the cross.
-
That's the 1st month. That's their new year.
-
But they changed this.
-
Now
-
here is,
-
here's where we're gonna go with this. I
-
wanna show you that Well, first, I I
-
strongly believe So the feast of trumpets,
-
they blow the trumpets, everybody comes in,
-
from the from the harvest.
-
Guys,
-
that's that's the rapture.
-
That's This thing is over.
-
No more harvesting.
-
We're done. We're in the we're in the
-
season of planting and harvesting right now. This
-
is when Jesus says, look on the fields
-
now
-
for their wide under harvest. That means go
-
now into the to the fields. Go now
-
to talk because he's talking about the lost
-
there. He's not talking about anything else. He's
-
talking about people that need him as their
-
savior. Go into the fields now. Guys, that's
-
in the time frame we're in. When Jesus
-
blows the trumpets or he doesn't, but he
-
has, Michael blow the trumpets. When Michael blows
-
the trumpets,
-
we're we're done. The harvest is over.
-
The raptures happen. Harvest is over. And we're
-
gonna go be with Jesus. And then we
-
have day of atonement, the repentance,
-
and then,
-
the,
-
piece of tabernacles reminding us that we're all
-
that we're all temporarily
-
here on this earth.
-
Verse 51. But let me reveal to you
-
a wonderful secret.
-
We will not all die, but we will
-
all be transformed. It will happen in a
-
moment.
-
That's important.
-
An instantaneous moment is part of the description
-
that the Lord gives us. Why? Because it's
-
part of the importance
-
of the story. It will happen in a
-
moment in the blink of an eye when
-
the last trumpet is blown.
-
Soon as the last one is done, we're
-
gone.
-
Okay.
-
For when the trumpet sounds, those who have
-
died will be raised to live forever. And
-
we who are living will also be transformed.
-
For our dying bodies must be transformed into
-
bodies that will never die.
-
Our mortal bodies must be transformed
-
into immortal bodies.
-
Okay.
-
1st Thessalonians
-
chapter 4.
-
And and by the way, that's
-
how does that happen? When does that happen?
-
We don't know how he transforms us, but
-
when does that happen? When we're raptured and
-
and and we're with Jesus
-
and he takes us and presents us this
-
is Ephesians 5. When he presents us to
-
God the father as pure and spotless without
-
any sin with no blemish,
-
he presents us to God the father. This
-
is when that happens.
-
K. This is all important in time sequence.
-
There is not a place that this is
-
gonna happen later and I'm gonna show you
-
that. K.
-
And then
-
verse 17. Then together with them,
-
everybody that's being raptured,
-
we who are still alive and remain on
-
the earth will be caught up in the
-
clouds
-
in the clouds
-
to meet the Lord in the air.
-
This is important. I'm gonna show you the
-
scripture in a second that
-
the second coming, Jesus is not in the
-
clouds.
-
Unknown. It's going to be immediately at the
-
end of the tribulation that Jesus comes down
-
and he puts his feet on the earth.
-
He's not taking us anywhere. He's not meeting
-
us in the air.
-
None of these things are happening. It is
-
a very succinctly
-
described moment where Jesus comes to the earth
-
and puts his feet on the earth.
-
Okay? He's not he's not in the air
-
at this point. But this right here says
-
that we will meet him. We are caught
-
up in the clouds to meet the Lord
-
in the air.
-
That does not happen at the end of
-
the tribulation.
-
There is nowhere of a description
-
of this happening in the at the end
-
of the tribulation.
-
Nowhere does Jesus hang out in the clouds
-
and wait for us. Nowhere does Jesus hang
-
out in the clouds and wait for us.
-
Nowhere does Jesus hang out in the hang
-
out in the clouds and wait for us.
-
This rapture is totally different. Now,
-
there's also the mid tribulation thing, and I
-
think that one has the least amount of
-
scriptures to back it up. There's 2 kinds
-
of mid tribulation thought. 1 is, there's 2
-
kinds of
-
There's 2 kinds of mid tribulation thought. One
-
is,
-
they don't call themselves mid tribulation. They call
-
themselves pre tribulation, but it happens at the
-
three and a half year mark because the
-
great tribulation
-
is the second half of the 3 years.
-
The tribulation
-
is the first half. First three and a
-
half years is called tribulation.
-
2nd half is called the great tribulation. And
-
so they say, well, Jesus is going to
-
come back before the great tribulation.
-
The problem is,
-
the tribulation is 7 years long.
-
You can't Even though scripture does differentiate between
-
the two halves, it's all called the tribulation.
-
So that argument to me has no legitimacy
-
whatsoever.
-
The other one is, we believe in the
-
mid tribulation because Jesus,
-
deceiving the people.
-
He's he's he's literally filled with satan. That's
-
when he desecrates the temple and that's when
-
everybody is raptured. The problem with that is
-
we know exactly the day once the tribulation
-
starts. We know exactly to the day when
-
that's gonna happen.
-
It's exactly three and a half years. So
-
this unexpectedly,
-
you won't know what's happening. I'm gonna show
-
you some scripture more about this. That can't
-
apply.
-
So to me, the mid trib is not
-
working really on any level.
-
Okay? And I think the post tribulation rapture
-
people are confusing,
-
Jesus' second coming and things like the battle
-
of Armageddon
-
with the with Ezekiel 38. I'll explain some
-
of that.
-
K. So we will be caught up in
-
the clouds to meet the Lord in the
-
air. Then we will be with the Lord
-
forever.
-
So encourage each other with these words.
-
Encourage each other. Now,
-
there was a mindset back when I was
-
growing up.
-
Well, it actually began to change around the
-
late eighties, early nineties.
-
When the church got this this big push,
-
it happened for
-
good well, it's still happening at some level.
-
But there was this big push that we
-
don't the church doesn't want to scare anybody
-
into serving Jesus.
-
Because when I grew up, nobody worried about.
-
We didn't mind scaring you to death to
-
get you saved.
-
The rapture is about to happen right now,
-
you know. I'm not making this up. I
-
know different pastors that would literally, while they
-
were preaching about the rapture,
-
they would have somebody stand in the back
-
and blow a horn real loud. Just
-
Just to get a Oh, Jesus. I just
-
You know,
-
that
-
So
-
here's my thing with this. Okay, guys?
-
Let me let me say it this way.
-
If you have children, take your child. Pick
-
a child I don't want them to be
-
scared or have their feelings hurt. I'm not
-
willing for that to happen to get them
-
to
-
heaven.
-
A major contribution to me standing here right
-
now is repenting many times over the years
-
because I thought the rapture was about to
-
take place. The idea
-
Do you know Paul,
-
rapture
-
was about to take place. The idea Do
-
you know Paul thought the rapture was gonna
-
take place during his time frame? Do you
-
know every generation is supposed to think that
-
way? Every single generation is supposed to think
-
the rapture is gonna happen in my lifetime.
-
This is part of the reason that the
-
that the that the pre tribulation
-
rapture makes so much sense in this arena
-
is when people say to me, I don't
-
believe in a pre tribulation rapture because even
-
Paul thought it was going to happen in
-
his lifetime.
-
Do you realize those are opposite mindsets?
-
If Paul thought it was gonna happen in
-
his lifetime,
-
but the tribulation
-
had not happened and and Israel had not
-
fallen to become a nation again,
-
meaning in 78, Israel fell, but had not
-
become a nation again, then how are those
-
things supposed to be fulfilled for Paul to
-
believe it was gonna happen in his lifetime?
-
The reason Paul thought it was gonna happen
-
in his lifetime is because the rapture was
-
gonna happen before those other things happened. But
-
the rapture was going to happen. And he
-
thought this very strongly. You can see in
-
scripture. Okay? Zechariah chapter 14 verse 4.
-
On that day,
-
his feet will stand on the Mount of
-
Olives, East of Jerusalem. And the Mount of
-
Olives will split apart making a wide valley
-
running from east to west. Half the mountain
-
will move toward the north and half toward
-
the south. Guys, this is the second coming
-
of Jesus and he is not waiting in
-
the clouds. He comes and plants his feet
-
on the earth and the mountain splits apart.
-
And then we see where the right after
-
this is where the millennial reign starts. There
-
is no place that the Lord meets us
-
in the air, takes a cigar, gives us
-
our new bodies. None of those things are
-
happening at this point.
-
Those things have already happened.
-
Okay?
-
And first Thessalonians 5 also talks about the
-
fact that whatever is holding the Antichrist back
-
from taking over the earth
-
is gonna be taken away. Guys, that's the
-
church.
-
In fact, somebody mentioned to me after, first
-
serve I think it was cookie. Mentioned to
-
me after first service, if the there's no
-
way because you've heard me say this stuff.
-
There's no way they're we're having an election.
-
There's no way they're gonna let,
-
even if we have an election, Trump's not
-
gonna be allowed into the White House as
-
the president. Here's something most people are not
-
processing.
-
The vice president is the one who ratifies
-
the election.
-
Process that for a second.
-
She's the one running for president,
-
but she ratifies the election.
-
They're not letting that man in the White
-
House. They are
-
not. If they don't kill him first, they're
-
not. And and Cookie said, well if the
-
whole church raptures this October,
-
she will win the election.
-
That's legit right there. You should write that
-
down.
-
Jesus is coming and that's Kamala's.
-
That that should be her platform, right?
-
None of the Christians will be here. I'm
-
winning. Alright. So
-
same thing as the rapture. It is total
-
different language. It's no one knows the day
-
of their hour, but we know exactly when
-
the second coming is going to
-
happen. Once the tribulation starts, we know the
-
day.
-
Unexpected.
-
Now, you explain to me how we've been
-
living in the tribulation for 7 years, and
-
it's unexpected. Are you
-
Are you following me?
-
Okay. And here's here's another big one. Let's
-
let's go to this one.
-
Okay. Matthew chapter 24 verse 30. And then
-
at the last
-
and then at last the sign of the
-
Son of Man is coming will appear in
-
the heavens. Now why is God tell us
-
this stuff unless he wants us to study
-
it? Try to figure it out. I don't
-
think you're gonna get all the details. I
-
don't think we're gonna, totally understand this until
-
it's happening. Like the day the tribulation starts,
-
we're gonna know that. If you're still here,
-
I won't be with you. But if you're
-
still here,
-
you're gonna know because,
-
Israel signs the peace treaty. You know the
-
exact day the tribulation is gonna start.
-
There's not gonna be any question on this.
-
3a half and 3a half. There's no doubt
-
about that. So we'll know exactly when the
-
tribulation starts because he tells us it starts
-
with the signing of the peace treaty.
-
Sometime before that, the rapture is gonna take
-
place. Look at this.
-
The son of man of coming will appear
-
in the heavens and there will be deep
-
mourning among all the peoples of the earth.
-
And they will see the son of man
-
coming on the clouds of heaven with great
-
with power and great glory. And he will
-
send out his angels
-
with a mighty blast of a trumpet and
-
they will gather his chosen ones from all
-
over the world. Where is Jesus at this
-
time?
-
The clouds of heaven.
-
That's second coming. He is in the clouds
-
of heaven. He sends out the angels to
-
gather everybody. That's called the rapture from the
-
farthest ends of heaven and earth. Verse 36,
-
this is this is amazing, cool this is
-
this is amazing, cool this is this is
-
key.
-
Right. You're not going to know the exact
-
day of the rapture. You're going to know
-
a time frame. You're going to He's saying,
-
look at all this stuff. Like when Jesus
-
says the
-
I think Cookie sends it to me.
-
If
-
you see the this is for sailors, and
-
I was one, but I forgot this.
-
If you see the red sky at night,
-
there's a storm coming. You know, when Jesus
-
says that, right? He says, this is how
-
you're going to know end time stuff. Pay
-
attention because I am giving you signs to
-
know.
-
Study this to know,
-
but you're not going to know the day
-
or the hour. Okay?
-
Now, here's here's important.
-
When the son of man returns, it will
-
be like it was in Noah's day.
-
In those days before the flood, people were
-
enjoying banquets and parties
-
and weddings right up to the time Noah
-
entered his boat.
-
Now, here's a
-
thing.
-
If the rapture does not happen until after
-
the tribulation,
-
does that mean the tribulation
-
is enjoying banquets and parties and weddings?
-
Think about what I'm saying.
-
That's not the tribulation I read about in
-
the bible. We're
-
just living life as normal. That's part of
-
the reason it's saying that. We're just going
-
through life as normal. Everything's okay. Everything is
-
good. And people are not aware that the
-
end is about to happen.
-
That is not the tribulation.
-
That is before the tribulation.
-
Once the church is raptured, it starts all
-
this other stuff, the signing of the peace
-
treaty, all these other things. And that is
-
the tribulation. And there is nobody that's not
-
going to know we're in the tribulation
-
because it gets very, very bad. It is
-
not hanging out as life as usual and
-
having parties. Happen
-
till after the tribulation, what do you do
-
with all these scriptures? What do you do
-
with this one specifically? People didn't realize what
-
was going to happen until the flood came
-
and swept them all away.
-
People are not going to realize what is
-
happening until the rapture happens.
-
And then they're gonna know
-
the stuff that's going on. And that is
-
what it would be when the son of
-
man
-
Now, I'm some time lines. I really
-
they all come up to the borders of
-
Israel and they're all threatening Israel. I keep
-
having people ask is is what's happening in
-
the Middle East right now Ezekiel 38? No.
-
It can't be because all of these people
-
are not come to the borders. Israel is
-
actually going and chasing Hamas and Hezbollah
-
into these countries. K? 2 total different stories.
-
Now, when all these countries come up, it
-
says that that that literally it's,
-
the way we see it described, it's got
-
to be millions of people that are coming
-
up from all these Arab countries and surrounding
-
Israel and about to attack Israel and God
-
destroys all of their armies and their military
-
leaders.
-
Israelites don't pick up a sword. They don't
-
do anything. God destroys them all.
-
That has not happened yet. But even with
-
everything that,
-
Turkey is doing right now, these countries are
-
setting up.
-
These countries are setting up. I do think
-
it's interesting
-
that the border between Gaza and Egypt right
-
now, the Philadelphia Corridor,
-
They're trying to make an agreement that maybe,
-
some of the
-
the soldiers of Saudi Arabia
-
may be policing that border instead because
-
Egypt actually has a pretty decent
-
alliance
-
with our friendship with Israel right now.
-
Not part of the group of all of
-
the countries around Israel that fight in Ezekiel
-
38. They're the only country that doesn't. K?
-
Now, why am I saying all this? I
-
think
-
actually is all the
-
countries come up to Israel, God kills all
-
of those soldiers and raptures the church in
-
the same day.
-
Deep
-
that God sent wild animals to eat them
-
or they would have been there
-
even longer than the many months that it
-
describes in scripture.
-
And then you have the whole world. And
-
this has always been the philosophy.
-
This is the normal thinking. Is the whole
-
world signs a peace treaty with Israel because
-
and this is the normal narrative. Is the
-
whole world is against Israel and Israel is
-
in a place of weakness. Guys, I don't
-
believe that. I've been saying this for the
-
last couple years. I don't think Israel will
-
be in a place of weakness. Why? Because
-
I think Ezekiel 38 happens before the tribulation.
-
Wiped out, and God sends animals to eat
-
them. They all of these,
-
Muslim countries, these Arab countries don't have military
-
anymore. Who's
-
in the driver's
-
seat?
-
Come to the table and say,
-
moment. So
-
they come to Israel and say, we'd like
-
to make a peace treaty. And Israel, being
-
who Israel is, will make the peace
-
treaty with
-
Israel they
-
Egypt attacked and Syria attacked and e and
-
Israel went into, into Egypt and they could
-
have destroyed Egypt on that day. They could
-
have marched straight into Cairo. Look at your
-
history books.
-
They could have gone straight into Cairo and
-
taken Cairo out and destroyed Egypt, but they
-
didn't.
-
America was putting pressure on them and so
-
they backed off and Egypt,
-
and by the way, that's the last time
-
Egypt has really gone after Israel.
-
We're gonna we're we're sorry Israel. Let's sign
-
this peace treaty. I believe Israel says, yes.
-
Let's sign the peace treaty and we're gonna
-
be rebuilding our temple.
-
Okay?
-
So you're going to need to move the
-
Dome of the Rock
-
because that's where we're going to build it.
-
Who's going to stop them?
-
Right now, you've got all these armies going
-
to stop them. Dedicate the temple. That's the
-
three and a half year mark. He's filled
-
with Satan and he desecrates the temple.
-
This? Guys, anytime we study this stuff, it
-
should bring you to one conclusion. Remember theme
-
of the old testament, Jesus is coming. Theme
-
of the new testament, Jesus is coming again.
-
As Jesus is coming and the church needs
-
to take this very seriously.
-
The church needs to take the rapture very
-
seriously.
-
Anytime but except the pre tribulation rapture, everybody
-
knows. So if we don't get raptured and
-
the tribulation starts, everybody on the planet knows.
-
Okay. Now we gotta get serious.
-
That's not what the days of Noah mentality
-
is. It says, you better be serious ahead
-
of time. The the 10 virgins, you better
-
have your your lamps ready to go ahead
-
of time.
-
I think that there are people that are
-
waiting because they've been taught mid or post
-
trib. I think they're waiting for the tribulation
-
to start because I don't have to serve
-
Jesus until then.
-
Think about that one.
-
All right. That's also why he says you'll
-
never know the day or the hour. I
-
planned that.
-
I planned
-
that.
-
So
-
I'm
-
gonna
-
So guys,
-
here's here's the reality.
-
When? Right now. Somebody asked me, a few
-
months back, do you think that,
-
with everything happening,
-
the rapture
-
might actually take place this year?
-
I do believe it's gonna be before the
-
80 years is up. I do believe that.
-
I said, do you believe it'll take place
-
this year? Guys, for the first time in
-
my whole life, I've literally thought with everything
-
setting up the way that it is, this
-
actually could be the year.
-
But, yeah, I mean, that's not bad. Remember,
-
it says encourage each other with this.
-
Encourage each other.
-
But I I really believe that is a
-
doable thing. And and and you've never heard
-
me say that before. I always say it's
-
gonna be this time of year,
-
but I don't know what. But for the
-
first time, I'm feeling like we're we're in
-
the we're in the downslide here.
-
And so I'm not saying that to scare
-
you, although if that happens, that's good too.
-
But here's the reason I'm saying it. It's
-
not even necessarily for all of us, but
-
we're gonna start here,
-
is to say, Jesus, we need you to
-
be our savior. That's the point. If you
-
study all this stuff
-
ad nauseam and you don't arrive at the
-
conclusion that you need Jesus
-
in your life controlling everything, protecting you, covering
-
you, you've missed the whole point.
-
That's the reason for this.
-
So what I'd like to do this morning
-
is I like us to pray.
-
I'd like us to get saved.
-
K?
-
I'd like us to to pray our sinners
-
prayer together.
-
So I'm already a Christian.
-
I guess you could just keep your mouth
-
shut then and don't.
-
I wouldn't think that's a good idea.
-
But let's just pray together and just ask
-
Jesus to be our God. Doesn't that make
-
sense?
-
Shouldn't these things propel us toward this?
-
Right? So repeat this with me if you'd
-
like to and let's just let's just pray.
-
Lord God,
-
we need you.
-
I need you as my savior as my
-
savior. I ask you to cover me with
-
the blood of Jesus
-
and make me right with you.
-
Forgive me of anything I've ever done
-
that's not pleasing to you.
-
And I wanna spend the rest of my
-
life
-
serving you.
-
In Jesus name, I pray.
-
God, thank you for this amazing gift of
-
salvation.
-
Thank you for grace. Thank you for mercy.
-
Thank you for loving us enough
-
that you gave everything so that we could
-
know you.
-
God, with with everybody in this room, even

-
Lord, that we've gotta have you.
-
So be our God.
-
We relinquish the throne and we turn it
-
over to you.
-
In the name of Jesus.
-
God, and we ask you to send us
-
to our neighbors.
-
Send us to our coworkers,
-
anoint us to speak to them,
-
knowing that our time is getting shorter every
-
single day.
-
God, we thank you.
-
Lord, continue to be with the Huizingas.
-
Bless them in every single way. And, Lord,
-
help to continue to connect them to different
-
ones of us throughout our church
-
that, we'll pray,
-
we'll support them, we'll we'll give,
-
and God, that they're gonna continue to be
-
successful in the things you're
