  1. Well, good morning. Good morning.

  2. So our volunteer of the week

  3. is, Noah. Noah is sitting right over here.

  4. And I I knew his father was out

  5. of town. So in 1st service, I said

  6. he was out of town too. But he's

  7. not. He's right here.

  8. And,

  9. Noah does a lot of stuff. He's definitely,

  10. pastor Emily tells me all the time, he

  11. is a huge asset,

  12. in the kids'

  13. ministry downstairs. And so,

  14. and I also wanna mention the fact that,

  15. when we got here 12 years ago,

  16. Noah was, like, 4.

  17. And

  18. and he told me one time

  19. that,

  20. of all of the people in the whole

  21. church, I was his best friend.

  22. He remembers. He may not act like he

  23. remembers, but

  24. we were pretty tight there for a while.

  25. And,

  26. because he had a birthday. I think it

  27. was his 5th birthday.

  28. And, he invited me to his birthday party.

  29. Me and like 10 5 year olds.

  30. It's great.

  31. You may laugh, but you weren't there. So

  32. he bought me some socks one time too.

  33. But we've we've grown apart

  34. over time.

  35. It's it's not me, it's him. So,

  36. so,

  37. so some things that, been happening.

  38. Obviously, you guys are paying attention. Hopefully, you're

  39. paying attention to this stuff. But Iran has

  40. basically just, declared war in Israel.

  41. They

  42. they in in one day, they sent the

  43. largest

  44. barrage of ballistic missiles

  45. ever in the history of the planet,

  46. to attack another country. And if you're if

  47. if you know, I mean, do you just

  48. casually look at a map? Our map, Iran

  49. is like this, and Israel is literally this

  50. over here. Just a little sliver,

  51. compared to this. And with all of those,

  52. in fact,

  53. they

  54. a very few of them were even getting

  55. through their iron dome.

  56. And, and when they did, they would fall

  57. on places that nobody was.

  58. And, the only the only

  59. people that have been hurt or casualties

  60. have been, some soldiers,

  61. but no civilians have been hurt by any

  62. of those.

  63. 200 ICBMs,

  64. think about that,

  65. to a to a country the size of

  66. Israel.

  67. And there's to me, there's no way you

  68. that you can deny that this is God

  69. keeping the the Jewish people safe. I mean,

  70. it's just

  71. how did that all happen? And you can

  72. say the Iron Dome, it's it's

  73. that's, that in itself is a miracle. So

  74. just continue to pray for that. I I

  75. I do think as we set up and

  76. we see this more and more and more,

  77. Iran is going to try this is what

  78. I think. K. This is supposition here. But

  79. Iran's gonna try to build this coalition. I

  80. think it potentially could be the coalition that

  81. we see in Ezekiel 38 that's being built.

  82. And for a long time for a long

  83. time, I've I've I've,

  84. thought that, Magog in Ezekiel 38, it could

  85. be Russia because of

  86. the the roche and the the Gogs and

  87. all that kind of stuff.

  88. But I I have been changing my view

  89. on this the last couple years,

  90. and I I've been studying this a lot

  91. even in the last few months. I really

  92. think that Magog,

  93. is not Russia. I think it's Turkey.

  94. And and part of the deal with that

  95. is because

  96. all of the countries that are mentioned are

  97. all Arab countries,

  98. Muslim countries. Why would Russia be part of

  99. that? Right? You say, well, Russia has some

  100. Muslims. I I think it's Turkey, And I'll

  101. I'll be explaining some of that probably the

  102. next couple months.

  103. But but, pay attention to this because this

  104. this literally could be Ezekiel 38 setting up,

  105. right in front of our eyes. And the

  106. fact that Ezekiel 39

  107. is the building of the temple, which has

  108. to happen,

  109. before the 3 and a half year mark.

  110. Now you you say, why are you saying

  111. that? To me, battle of Gog and Magog

  112. has to happen before the tribulation. Why? Because

  113. the temple,

  114. it gets built after the battle of Gog

  115. and Magog, and it's built at the 3

  116. and a half year mark. In fact, that's

  117. what the Antichrist does is he dedicates the

  118. temple. It's when he desecrates it. So

  119. things are happening.

  120. I I also wanna mention this. We had

  121. a we talked about a bunch of different

  122. stuff Wednesday night having to do with and

  123. I'm it's actually gonna use, one of the

  124. scriptures that we use Wednesday, and I'm gonna

  125. use it this morning. But

  126. one of the the conversations we have is,

  127. could could the government

  128. could the government of America

  129. be doing things knowingly,

  130. deceptively

  131. and knowingly

  132. corrupt and those kind of things?

  133. And the

  134. the

  135. the the answer is yes. So

  136. but but here's the thing. Okay? So this

  137. this over the last 2 or 3 days,

  138. this has been found out.

  139. And the way that it got found out

  140. was,

  141. so with the

  142. hurricanes and that just devastated North Carolina. Right?

  143. There's a there's a bunch of groups,

  144. FEMA,

  145. Red Cross,

  146. with the Assemblies of God. It's got a

  147. group called Congo of Hope.

  148. All these groups are are sending food and

  149. resources and all this kind of stuff,

  150. And Elon Musk was doing it also. He

  151. was sending,

  152. Starlink,

  153. the Internet satellite

  154. to,

  155. to North Carolina so they could and just

  156. gonna be donating these by the 100, setting

  157. these up so they could get Internet again,

  158. and even,

  159. potentially phone service for towers that went down

  160. and stuff like this. And and they

  161. began to one of the people that were

  162. running that for Elon Musk realized that something

  163. was happening and this wasn't these these, starlings

  164. were not getting through and weren't getting to

  165. North Carolina. And so began to do some

  166. investigation

  167. and uncovered with, not just their group, but

  168. many different groups,

  169. Red Cross and some other groups,

  170. that FEMA

  171. had been taking all of this stuff and

  172. putting them in warehouses and not giving anybody

  173. anything.

  174. And and this and, yeah, again, this has

  175. happened before.

  176. And so Elon makes a big fuss about

  177. it because he's got enough money to make

  178. it an issue. Right? That's that really people

  179. like to say, well, you know, if you

  180. just as the the individual, the the common

  181. man will make a fuss, it'll make a

  182. difference. It helps if you have 1,000,000,000 of

  183. dollars too. But so he starts making a

  184. fuss. He gets lawyers involved, all this kind

  185. of thing, and finds out that FEMA has

  186. warehouses

  187. all over the place that have,

  188. resources,

  189. food, these satellite dishes, all kinds of things

  190. stockpiled, so that FEMA can control when and

  191. how this stuff gets out. They're not giving

  192. the people the stuff. People are needing,

  193. food, all kinds of things. They're not giving

  194. it, so that FEMA can be in control,

  195. and then they get all the credit for

  196. this when this goes down. The guy that

  197. Pete, that, you know, you're in for president

  198. and all this stuff, and he's the guy

  199. that's in charge of the fee. He he

  200. came out later and admitted that there was

  201. a problem. He said at first, this is

  202. all made up. Nothing has happened. And then

  203. later,

  204. he resolved the issue. He didn't say later

  205. there wasn't a problem. He just resolved it.

  206. Guys, our our government is so

  207. corrupt.

  208. It is amazing,

  209. how bad we have gotten so quickly.

  210. But again,

  211. I believe that this is

  212. I believe that this is, prophetic too.

  213. That all the the stuff that that is

  214. happening and and has to happen. And so

  215. throwing that out there. I also have been

  216. getting some questions

  217. from from,

  218. some of you guys, but also online and

  219. and different things that,

  220. that we when

  221. before the primary,

  222. we had, like, a Wednesday night that I

  223. you guys asked questions, and we talked about,

  224. the candidates and stuff that we're running.

  225. The question that I'm getting right now is

  226. with all of these ballot initiatives,

  227. we have more ballot initiatives

  228. than ever in the state of Colorado. This

  229. is,

  230. hands down more than we've ever had. And

  231. so there's a lot and people are asking

  232. questions and and there's a 2 or 3

  233. that seem to be confusing, and I believe

  234. they're intentionally so.

  235. And so I was gonna take some time

  236. on a Wednesday and and walk through these.

  237. And, I'm not gonna do that now. I

  238. think the best way to do this would

  239. be go to my website, and I explain,

  240. my stances. I don't explain all of the

  241. details on them. I just explain,

  242. how I would look at these.

  243. If you've got a question on a few,

  244. let me throw one out that I think

  245. is pretty important.

  246. Obviously,

  247. about an issue of 79

  248. that is

  249. the

  250. the

  251. yes. The making making abortion constitutional.

  252. K?

  253. But please please, as a Christian,

  254. get out and vote against that. Okay?

  255. This is the thing for me. I know

  256. I I kind of danced around and

  257. I mean, not for most people, but for

  258. me, it feels like dancing. Let me let

  259. me just say this. I don't see how

  260. you can call yourself a Christian and vote

  261. to murder babies. I don't.

  262. I'm tired of playing that game. Oh, well,

  263. this, you know, we just no. If you

  264. believe in murdering babies, I don't think you're

  265. serving the Jesus that created them. It's that

  266. simple. And so we need to get out

  267. and do something about that.

  268. 80 also is one that people have been

  269. confused about.

  270. It because it talks about,

  271. rights for children in schools. As if you

  272. give in children's rights, you're taking them away

  273. from parents.

  274. Parents are the ones in charge of children,

  275. not children in charge of children. K? When

  276. you let children be in charge of themselves,

  277. they eat nothing but sugar.

  278. K?

  279. So let's let's,

  280. let's have a little common sense.

  281. And so I I put all that stuff

  282. on the website. You can go there.

  283. Alright.

  284. Over the last,

  285. and it's my, political website

  286. which is

  287. pastor Scott

  288. for hd15.

  289. Dotcom.

  290. So

  291. alright. So, the the last handful of weeks,

  292. I've been looking at

  293. looking at

  294. these are all built together. It's not it's

  295. not it wasn't a series, but they're all

  296. building into the next one kind of thing.

  297. That we're looking at the fact that Jesus

  298. is coming back.

  299. Looking at the rapture, we're looking at because

  300. of these things, we need a sense of

  301. urgency. And I don't think the church I

  302. think we're losing that sense of urgency. Let

  303. me let me say it different. I think

  304. we it hasn't been there for a long

  305. time, but I think we're kind of getting

  306. it again.

  307. This, hey,

  308. you know, this this thing's going downhill quick.

  309. You know, that kind of thing. And so

  310. that sense of urgency.

  311. And then also the the understanding that we're

  312. going to suffer,

  313. as Christians, we're going to suffer. And if

  314. we and if we do everything we can

  315. to shy away from that at some somewhere

  316. in that process, you're gonna miss god.

  317. K? You're gonna have to be ready to

  318. step up.

  319. When when things are getting difficult, step up.

  320. And the church cannot run

  321. from that moment.

  322. And and we as individuals

  323. cannot run from that. We've got to

  324. we've got to be who we're supposed to

  325. be. And so with all of that kind

  326. of building in, I wanna

  327. I want us to

  328. end very positively

  329. this morning

  330. and and look at this. You know, Paul

  331. talks a lot about that we're running

  332. this race and, and to keep our eyes

  333. on the prize.

  334. The the even the idea of running a

  335. race means that there is a there's an

  336. endpoint.

  337. Right? There's there's some

  338. there's gonna be a finish line somewhere.

  339. For life, there is a finish line.

  340. Depending on when Jesus comes back, most people

  341. that ever live

  342. die before the rapture.

  343. You know that. Right?

  344. A lot of people are have already gone

  345. before us so that they're not gonna make

  346. the rapture.

  347. But we all have a finish line called

  348. the end of our life.

  349. And and Paul talks about that we make

  350. sure that we keep our eyes on what

  351. we're here for. What is the point?

  352. What's the point of our existence, our life,

  353. and that we keep our eyes on Jesus?

  354. Because if not,

  355. we get sidetracked.

  356. And this is every one of us in

  357. this room,

  358. have done this in our Christian walk many

  359. many times. It's it's normal.

  360. We can get sidetracked and forget what

  361. what our life is about.

  362. Forget the big picture. Forget that that, this

  363. is all about Jesus.

  364. And we we see all of this this

  365. language, the stuff involved with this. And so

  366. I want us to to kinda

  367. relook at this this morning.

  368. What is

  369. what is what is the end game?

  370. What's what's the goal,

  371. with with everything? And then who knows what's

  372. gonna happen between now and then? Right? There's

  373. so there's so many

  374. I mean, I've been alive 54 years, and

  375. I have never seen things culminating

  376. worldwide

  377. and here in our country, like, it's culminating

  378. right now. That

  379. that the the last 3 or 4 well,

  380. the last 4 years,

  381. we have seen so many things happening, changing

  382. that we'd never would have thought possible

  383. just in the last 4 years. And it's

  384. been building till then. But then you take

  385. the last 6 months even and all the

  386. crazy stuff.

  387. There's I mean, I I think the average

  388. person could have said this was definitely possible

  389. 4 years ago. But all of this even

  390. just all of the stuff, you just pick

  391. Trump. All the stuff that happened here.

  392. Four different assassinations attempts in the last few

  393. weeks.

  394. There's an election in in less than 30

  395. days

  396. that literally sets the stage for our complete

  397. future.

  398. Think about

  399. all the stuff that's been going on and

  400. then everything that's going on around the world.

  401. Now we have

  402. now we have, you know, Russia's invaded Ukraine.

  403. Israel is just cleaning up terrorists all over

  404. the place.

  405. This is

  406. Iran has actually,

  407. declared war on Israel, and Israel's like,

  408. bring it.

  409. I mean, they they

  410. I mentioned this some Wednesday night.

  411. Once they sent them ballistic missiles in, Israel's

  412. like, okay. Now, thank you for that. It's

  413. not exactly the way it went down. But

  414. thank you for that because now we're coming

  415. after your oil field and we're coming after

  416. your nuclear

  417. sites.

  418. So you open the door. We couldn't have

  419. done this,

  420. a month ago, 6 months ago, but thank

  421. you. Because we're gonna take out the things

  422. that needed to be taken out. But nobody

  423. else will stand up against Iran. All this

  424. stuff is happening.

  425. But guys, at the end of the day

  426. at the end of the day,

  427. Jesus is on the throne.

  428. Galatians chapter 6 verse 7. Don't be misled.

    Galatians 6:7

  429. You cannot mock the justice of God. I

  430. love it when it the the the justice

  431. of God, that statement. Because depends on depends

  432. on your relationship with Jesus, depends on how

  433. you see that that phrase, justice of God.

  434. If you don't belong to God, if Jesus

  435. has is not your savior, you are not

  436. covered with the blood of Jesus, you are

  437. not right with God, You should be very

  438. concerned when the statement justice of God is

  439. said.

  440. You should be scared,

  441. because the justice of God is a real

  442. thing.

  443. And nobody

  444. nobody is gonna get away from the justice

  445. and the judgment of god.

  446. If you serve Jesus, it should not scare

  447. you. In fact, you there's a there's probably

  448. a little bit, at least for me, there

  449. is. There's a little bit that says,

  450. yeah. I'm ready, Lord. Bring it.

  451. I'm ready for the justice of God.

  452. I'm tired. I'm tired of all of the

  453. stuff that I see constantly day after day

  454. after day

  455. of of

  456. babies being murdered,

  457. children being groomed, all of the evil, the

  458. the twisting

  459. and the perversion of society.

  460. I'm tired of the the bad guys lying

  461. and and and getting away with it in

  462. half a society going,

  463. okay.

  464. I'm tired of this.

  465. I'm tired of the world

  466. scene where the bad guys seem to win

  467. day after day after day. I'm tired of

  468. this.

  469. And I'm ready for the justice of God.

  470. I'm ready for this.

  471. I know I belong to Jesus. I know

  472. I'm covered with his blood. I am ready

  473. for the justice of God.

  474. I'm ready for for

  475. pedophiles to be put down.

  476. I'm ready for this.

  477. This is

  478. this is now this is where you gotta

  479. be careful, because

  480. you can get so caught up in that.

  481. You do have to keep a little balance,

  482. because the justice of God includes everybody.

  483. Make sure you're covered with the blood of

  484. Jesus,

  485. because the justice of God's gonna include everybody

  486. and all of our sins.

  487. Make sure you're covered with the blood of

  488. Jesus.

  489. But I like I like the justice of

  490. God.

  491. You will always harvest what you plant.

  492. Those who live only to satisfy their own

  493. sinful nature will harvest decay

  494. and death from that sinful nature. But those

  495. who live to please the spirit, and that's

  496. the key, only you know of every person

  497. in this room, nobody knows for sure anybody

  498. else.

  499. K?

  500. You there because nobody knows what's totally within

  501. your mind and your heart. Only you do.

  502. Now I think I can make a decent

  503. assessment

  504. of people.

  505. The people that are closer to me, I

  506. think I can make a decent assessment. But

  507. guys, at the end of the day

  508. at the end of the day, I only

  509. know where my heart is with Jesus.

  510. I only know if I am trying to

  511. please the spirit.

  512. But if you're trying to please the spirit,

  513. that's really what you're living for. To please

  514. God. To make sure that you're pursuing Jesus

  515. and you're saying no to sin. I mean,

  516. that's just a simple way to address this.

  517. Just saying no to sin.

  518. If you've got if you've got sin in

  519. your life, guys get take care of it

  520. now.

  521. Get repent of that. Get it out of

  522. your life and stop sinning. We are we

  523. don't have I I strongly believe this. We

  524. don't have time to be playing around.

  525. Get rid of the sin.

  526. K. But it says, if you're if you

  527. live to please the spirit, you will harvest

  528. everlasting life from the spirit. And we're gonna

  529. unpack that quite a bit this morning.

  530. You're you will harvest

  531. everlasting life from the spirit. So let's not

  532. get tired of doing what is good. We

  533. talked about that some Wednesday.

  534. It's it's difficult when you see all of

  535. the stuff. All the things I was just

  536. talking about, it's difficult sometimes to to feel

  537. like you're doing anything.

  538. Right? I I get a lot of people

  539. a lot of people. I get emails. Many

  540. of you have said things. I get emails

  541. from all over the state. In fact, Linda

  542. was Linda was noticing this yesterday, I think

  543. it was.

  544. Just sitting there and reading, and she says,

  545. you're getting people from all over the state

  546. of Colorado are emailing you and saying thank

  547. you

  548. for doing what you're doing. I don't I

  549. don't know who these people are. Thank you

  550. for doing what you're doing. But here's the

  551. problem with it is when I hear that,

  552. I I hear in my own head and

  553. my own spirit, you're not doing anything.

  554. You're accomplishing nothing.

  555. Now I do I do balance that out.

  556. I don't need you to come afterwards and

  557. hug me and make me feel better about

  558. this.

  559. I do I do balance this out. I

  560. know I know I'm giving everything I got.

  561. I know I'm trying.

  562. But

  563. but this is the way I I've even

  564. prayed this recently.

  565. God, it'd be nice to have a win

  566. Just every now and then.

  567. Now I'm talking mostly in the political realm.

  568. Right? I feel like I feel like I

  569. have wins all the time as a pastor.

  570. I feel like I have wins all the

  571. time when I'm talking to people about Jesus.

  572. I feel like they're mostly wins.

  573. But but when you're doing all the stupidity

  574. of the the political arena,

  575. we're just we're just getting our rear handed

  576. to us here in Colorado.

  577. We are the most liberal state in the

  578. United States. That is they they they made

  579. this as a goal 2 years ago, and

  580. they are proving this over and over and

  581. over.

  582. We are more liberal now than

  583. California, Oregon, New Mexico, all of those

  584. kind of things.

  585. So so here's the thing.

  586. Don't get tired of doing what is right.

  587. Guys, you got to do the right thing

  588. even if nobody seems to notice, nobody seems

  589. to care, and you never get a win.

  590. You still gotta do the right thing.

  591. You've got to do the right thing.

  592. Don't get don't don't give up.

  593. Don't give up. I know I said this

  594. a few weeks ago. This has always been

  595. a big thing for me. This is one

  596. of my my strongest

  597. life mantras and I and I tried to

  598. instill this in my children as strong as

  599. anything else.

  600. Don't give up.

  601. Don't quit.

  602. What what has accomplished if you quit?

  603. You see, this is the thing is we

  604. we get so frustrated by this stuff and

  605. you're like, I'm not doing any it's not

  606. accomplishing it. I'm wasting my time. Blah blah

  607. blah. So I'll quit.

  608. Well,

  609. then you guarantee

  610. nothing happens.

  611. At least if you stay in there.

  612. At least if you keep pushing back on

  613. the darkness. And here's one of the easiest

  614. things. Just keep living for god. Just keep

  615. being a light. Just keep being a a

  616. person of truth and the word. And and

  617. regardless of what anybody else around you does,

  618. you keep being that.

  619. And it's amazing.

  620. What does he say next? Look at this.

  621. At just the right time

  622. when is that? I have no idea.

  623. Neither do you.

  624. At just the right time, we will reap

  625. a harvest of blessing

  626. if we don't

  627. give up. I never know when that is,

  628. but I have experienced it. I can look

  629. back and tell you some of those moments

  630. that was just the right time.

  631. Right?

  632. Therefore,

  633. whenever we have the opportunity, we should do

  634. good to everyone,

  635. especially those in the family of faith. Just

  636. just be Jesus to every single person you

  637. can.

  638. In action at all times and words as

  639. often as possible.

  640. Just be Jesus.

  641. That's an old quote that I made proper.

  642. The old quote was,

  643. be a witness at all times. Use words

  644. when necessary.

  645. That's not I don't like that quote.

  646. Here's a better one. Be Jesus all the

  647. time. Use words as much as possible.

  648. Do both.

  649. Okay. 2nd Timothy chapter 4

  650. verse 1. I solemnly urge you in the

  651. presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who

  652. will someday judge the living and the dead.

  653. That's you and I.

  654. You're gonna be one of those two things.

  655. Most of you in here are living.

  656. Thank you. Just seeing if everybody's paying attention.

  657. Most of you are let me change that.

  658. Most of you, maybe not. Okay.

  659. You're gonna be living or dead, and that's

  660. and he's gonna judge us. We're gonna stand

  661. before God. Guys, every one of us are

  662. gonna stand before God. As long as you're

  663. covered with the blood of Jesus, this is

  664. not bad. It's good. I'm gonna show you

  665. that. It's good.

  666. We're gonna stand before Jesus when he comes

  667. to set up his kingdom. So what does

  668. Paul tell Timothy here? Paul's an elder minister,

  669. tells a younger minister. He says, preach the

  670. word of God.

  671. Now what we've done over the years is

  672. we take that that phrase, preach the word

  673. of God, and we make that about ministers.

  674. Paul, elder missionary ministers telling this to a

  675. young minister, Timothy. Guys, when we use terms

  676. like that today, we actually change the context

  677. of what it looked like then.

  678. Timothy wasn't some kind of,

  679. officially ordained kinda minister like we would do

  680. nowadays.

  681. That's all man stuff.

  682. My ordination, I've said this before, and sometimes

  683. it irritates the powers that be in

  684. in higher up fellowship mentality.

  685. But yours

  686. I have I'm ordained with this in this

  687. God. You know what that means? That means

  688. a group of humans

  689. ratified something that God already did.

  690. They're just saying, Yeah we're on God's side

  691. with this. It means really nothing.

  692. I'm I'm not trying to downplay it, but

  693. it doesn't mean anything. It's just a group

  694. of humans that are saying we recognize that

  695. God has called you to do this.

  696. You are called by God just like I

  697. am, and you have to do the same

  698. thing that Paul's telling Timothy. Preach the word

  699. of God.

  700. But what we've done is we've taken preaching

  701. the word of God, and we've limited to

  702. the the what I'm doing as a professional.

  703. Alright. I'm a professional. I'm a professional preacher.

  704. How do we know? I get paid for

  705. it.

  706. I'm a professional.

  707. But the difference is is you should try

  708. this at home.

  709. Because preaching the what I'm doing actually, Galatians

  710. and Ephesians says, what I'm actually doing is

  711. I'm teaching you and training you how to

  712. preach the Word of God. That's actually what

  713. I'm doing. Right? So you're actually the preachers

  714. of the gospel. I'm the trainer and the

  715. teacher of preaching the gospel.

  716. That's really the way scripture looks at this.

  717. So what are you supposed to do at

  718. work? Preach the the preach the gospel. Home,

  719. preach the gospel.

  720. Community, preach the gospel. But what we do

  721. is we think that it this means you

  722. put together this nice little outline of a

  723. sermon and everything else. Guys, I've learned over

  724. the years and I and I have I

  725. have been amazed at this so many times

  726. over the years

  727. that you preach the gospel as good or

  728. better than I ever could preach the

  729. gospel. Because

  730. you don't you don't think you do because

  731. we've trained our minds to think this way.

  732. But you do because why? I've had conversations

  733. with you about many different ones. Many different

  734. times about this is what God showed you

  735. through the scripture. This is what God showed

  736. you in a time of prayer. This is

  737. what he's done in your life. This is

  738. how he saved you from this. This is

  739. how he broke this addiction. This is what

  740. he does. This is the gospel and you

  741. preach it just fine.

  742. When you stop and try to think

  743. about a sermonizing

  744. mentality

  745. is when it is when it,

  746. degrades.

  747. Because we we we have these weird things

  748. going on in in Christianity

  749. where a sermon is a certain thing like

  750. what I'm doing now. But you preach the

  751. gospel just fine.

  752. I've heard many of you do that.

  753. This is what God spoke to me. This

  754. is what God showed me. You know, we

  755. were praying for this, our family, our house

  756. or something else. And this is what God

  757. did and that is a testimony

  758. which is the gospel.

  759. You preach the gospel just fine.

  760. Don't be scared of it. Don't try to

  761. don't try to refine it and and fix

  762. it and all that stuff. Just tell somebody

  763. what Jesus is doing in your heart.

  764. What he's doing in your life. What he's

  765. done with your family, your your your spouse,

  766. your children, something.

  767. This is what God has done.

  768. Some of the strongest

  769. sermons on marriage in this room are from

  770. you.

  771. Because what God has done.

  772. Preach the gospel.

  773. Preach the gospel. This is what he wants

  774. us to do. Preach the gospel. And then

  775. he says, be prepared whether time is favorable

  776. or not. Now back in the day,

  777. I'm saying 30 years ago,

  778. this was actually pretty common before then up

  779. to about the time and then oh. Nowadays,

  780. this is not something you see happen.

  781. But it used to happen all the time.

  782. In fact, it was the expectation.

  783. I'm a young guy, youth pastor of a

  784. church.

  785. Maybe just, started being the pastor of church

  786. and I go on a vacation.

  787. And back in that day, we only would

  788. place here we went to vacation was to

  789. see family. Right? You know, when you're young,

  790. you got no money, that's where you go

  791. to vacation. You go to your mom in

  792. law's. So

  793. we go back to East Texas. And if

  794. I walked into the church

  795. and, somebody got church, they knew who I

  796. was. They knew I was in ministry.

  797. If I walked in, the pastor would say

  798. as I'm coming in the door, hey. How

  799. are you doing? Would you like to preach

  800. tonight?

  801. Usually, sunny night.

  802. That's when they would do that more often

  803. than sunny mornings. Would you like to preach

  804. tonight? I'm walking in the door. Would you

  805. like to preach tonight?

  806. That was the that was the norm. And

  807. this is where it came from. Be prepared

  808. whether time is favorable or not because

  809. sometimes that's not favorable.

  810. I just wanna go and sit in the

  811. building. I don't ever just get to sit

  812. in the building and and and draw on

  813. the offering envelopes

  814. and pick my nose and fall asleep. I

  815. don't ever get to do that stuff.

  816. Oh, it's hitting a little close to home,

  817. isn't it?

  818. So

  819. sometimes, and I'm not making this up guys,

  820. sometimes it had the song service, the pastor

  821. would get up in the pulpit. Back in

  822. those days, they had the big pulpit like

  823. this. Get up in the pulpit and say,

  824. oh, I see,

  825. Brother Bottoms in the back.

  826. Would you like to come up and preach?

  827. I'm standing up walking up there going, I

  828. should have something ready in 14 seconds.

  829. Because

  830. preaching the word but this here's the thing,

  831. if you think that you have to come

  832. up some kind of sermonized

  833. speech

  834. that fit some kind of criteria,

  835. yeah, that's a scary moment. But if you're

  836. just doing what Paul told Timothy, just preach

  837. the gospel.

  838. Just

  839. just tell people what Jesus is doing.

  840. It's not that big of a deal.

  841. It's really not.

  842. He says, patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your

  843. people with good teaching.

  844. You do that all the time. You're just

  845. not processing it this way.

  846. You're constantly

  847. patiently correcting somebody. You're rebuking somebody, encouraging people

  848. with good teaching. People at work, your family.

  849. Because let's say somebody comes to you at

  850. work

  851. and they're going through a difficult separation or

  852. divorce or something like that.

  853. And they're feeling really down on this

  854. and

  855. maybe their spouse cheated on them and they're

  856. saying, well I guess I'm not worth anything.

  857. They're gonna they need somebody else besides me.

  858. Then you say,

  859. hey stop thinking like that. You're just fine.

  860. Jesus loves you just like you are.

  861. That's correcting somebody. That's rebuking somebody.

  862. And then you say this is how you

  863. think. This is what you're supposed to think.

  864. And here's the opportunity where you bring scripture

  865. in and you say this is what Jesus

  866. says about you. It doesn't matter what anybody

  867. else says about you. And that's encouraging people

  868. with good teaching.

  869. You do this stuff all the time guys.

  870. Preach the gospel.

  871. Do what you're supposed to do.

  872. For a time is coming when people will

  873. no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching.

  874. We're obviously there. We know that. Right? I

  875. don't have to beat that drum.

  876. They will follow their own desires and look

  877. for teachers who will tell them whatever their

  878. itching ears want to hear. Then they will

  879. reject the truth and chase after myths.

  880. This is what I'm seeing so much

  881. right now across the church world

  882. is and and this is the the Internet

  883. is doing this so is the is the

  884. source of this so strongly right now.

  885. In in American church, it's it's all over

  886. the world. But in American church, there's so

  887. many people listening to so many things. And

  888. I see this stuff all all over the

  889. place that's not biblical stuff.

  890. It's all over the place.

  891. I I I'll give you one of the

  892. biggest ones

  893. that I see. And you and you may

  894. disagree with this. I'm gonna go I'm gonna

  895. break into a subsidiary of this.

  896. But there I I see this all over

  897. the place where people are talking about this

  898. great revival that's going to happen before the

  899. end times.

  900. As if I don't see that in scripture.

  901. Where does it say that in scripture?

  902. Not what we want to happen. I want

  903. that to happen, but I don't see that

  904. in scripture.

  905. Okay. And then

  906. there's two sides to this this kind of

  907. side trail of this same thing,

  908. is a lot of the teaching that's being

  909. done around the country right now on the

  910. 7 mountains. Okay?

  911. I like the 7 mountains teaching. Anybody heard

  912. what I'm talking about? Okay.

  913. A lot of the 7 mountains teaching. Basically,

  914. what that is is there's 7 major,

  915. areas or arenas of society, and the church

  916. is supposed to get involved in all of

  917. those 7 areas.

  918. K? I strongly believe that. I've been preaching

  919. and teaching that stuff long before we called

  920. it the 7 mountains.

  921. Alright. I believe this very strongly, but here's

  922. the second step of it that is wrong.

  923. It's not biblical.

  924. Is they're saying

  925. once the church has moved into all of

  926. those areas, those 7 major areas of society,

  927. and the church takes them over,

  928. by the way the church will never take

  929. them over,

  930. because they're ungodly man institutions.

  931. What we're supposed to do is invade them

  932. with truth and light and affect them, but

  933. you can't take them over.

  934. You can't control them is what I'm saying.

  935. But the teaching is is once you once

  936. the church has taken those over,

  937. then

  938. Jesus will come back.

  939. That is not biblical.

  940. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that.

  941. Nowhere does it say that.

  942. Okay.

  943. In fact,

  944. that is

  945. Jehovah Witness

  946. theology.

  947. You live for Jesus, everybody does better and

  948. better and better. We all get gooder and

  949. gooder and gooder, and then we'd step into

  950. Nirvana. And Jesus just kinda takes his place

  951. of authority

  952. over Nirvana.

  953. That is that is not biblical. That's demonic.

  954. The Bible says, it's gonna get worse and

  955. worse and worse, not better and better and

  956. better.

  957. In the last days, people will be having

  958. itchy ears because they want to hear what

  959. they want instead of actual truth. And what

  960. we want is everything is just gonna get

  961. good.

  962. That's always been what humanity wants to hear.

  963. It's just gonna get real good. Why? Because

  964. we're good.

  965. And as long as we're really good, it's

  966. just gonna get good.

  967. Except that's the opposite of what scripture says.

  968. Scripture says, we're not good.

  969. We need Jesus.

  970. If we were good, we wouldn't need Jesus.

  971. We need Jesus to save us because what?

  972. We're sinners, and society is collapsing around us.

  973. And the last days are going to be

  974. evil.

  975. That's what scripture says.

  976. We gotta be careful we're not chasing after

  977. just whoever that writes the next book or

  978. does the next thing.

  979. I remember when,

  980. Rob Bell years ago wrote the book that

  981. there is no hell.

  982. And he was on Oprah Winfrey and all

  983. stuff. He was a pastor and all this

  984. kind of stuff. It's been a while, so

  985. you may not remember or know. But a

  986. lot of the church was like, well, maybe

  987. there isn't. We should rethink this.

  988. Because they just liked him so much, and

  989. I really liked that guy.

  990. But but you've gotta be able to recognize

  991. immediately when something's not true.

  992. Why?

  993. Because you you digesting truth all day long.

  994. You digest in truth. And when somebody throws

  995. something in there that's not right,

  996. you immediately recognize it.

  997. Just keep going.

  998. But you should keep a clear mind in

  999. every situation. Don't be afraid for of suffering

1000. for the Lord. Talked about that a few

1001. weeks ago. Work at telling others the good

1002. news and fully carry out the ministry God

1003. has given you. Fully carry out the ministry.

1004. Guys, this affects every single one of us

1005. in this room. God has called every one

1006. of us to different things, not just like

1007. one big thing, but that could be true

1008. too. But but he calls us 2 things

1009. along the way, and then different ministries and

1010. and opportunities and all this kind of stuff.

1011. And here's the challenge for us. It is

1012. it is difficult to keep our eyes on

1013. Jesus and do all the things the Lord

1014. has told us to do. We'll do good

1015. in in these areas, but not over here.

1016. This is one of the things I've noticed

1017. in in different ways. Well, I'll start this,

1018. this, Bible study or life group or whatever,

1019. but I'm not actually witnessing to anybody. Well,

1020. we've got to fully carry out the ministry

1021. that God has given us. And every one

1022. of us have ministry. Don't run from it.

  1023. Run to it.

1024. Don't be scared of it. Don't worry about

1025. it. The Lord's gonna give you what you

1026. need to accomplish the ministry before you.

1027. K? Run for it to to fully carry

1028. out the ministry. As for me, Paul says,

1029. my life has already been poured out as

  1030. an offering to God.

1031. The time of my death is near. Remember

1032. talking about suffering? He knew he was gonna

1033. die. He knew he was gonna go to

  1034. Rome to die,

1035. but he wasn't scared of it.

1036. There there there has to be a part

1037. where you're getting close. Now maybe not necessarily

1038. looking forward to having your head cut off,

  1039. but

1040. but as you're getting closer to that, there's

1041. just a resolve that says,

  1042. I'm ready.

  1043. Right?

  1044. I'm ready.

1045. I think about you guys that are, like,

1046. in your seventies. You gotta be ready.

1047. I got plenty of time.

1048. He says, I have fought the good fight.

1049. I have finished the race.

1050. And guys, here's the key, I have remained

  1051. faithful.

  1052. I have remained faithful.

1053. If that's if that's all you got,

  1054. that's amazing.

  1055. I remain faithful.

1056. And now the prize awaits me, the crown

  1057. of righteousness.

1058. Think about it. Revelation where all the 24

1059. elders are sitting around. This is the 12

1060. disciples and the 12 tribes. And we know

1061. every that we know the name of every

1062. one of those people. Right? Ain't that cool?

1063. And they take their crowns. The Lord comes

1064. in and they take their crowns and they

1065. throw them down before the lord.

  1066. I hope I get a crown,

1067. and the only reason is so I can

1068. throw it down before the lord.

1069. I'd like to throw other things, but I

  1070. don't think he cares.

  1071. Right? My jeep, he's like, I don't like

  1072. jeeps.

  1073. He does. He does.

  1074. He does.

1075. Look at this. He says, now the prize

1076. awaits me, the crown of righteousness,

1077. which means I've been made right with God.

1078. I've been covered with the blood of Jesus,

1079. which the lord, the righteous judge, will give

1080. me on the day of his return.

1081. And the prize is not just for me,

1082. but for all who eagerly look forward to

  1083. his appearing.

1084. That we're focused on him coming back. That

1085. that is our that's where our attention is.

1086. Jesus, you're coming back and I'm gonna live

1087. today like you're coming back. I'm gonna live

1088. tomorrow like you're coming back.

1089. Because this is where a couple weeks ago,

1090. I talked about the urgency.

1091. This is where the church were were losing

  1092. this.

1093. We need to regain this urgency in our

1094. spirit that says, Jesus, you're right on the

1095. you're right on the cusp of coming back.

1096. And and I've heard this many times before

1097. where people will say, I've been hearing this

1098. all my life. I've been hearing this all

  1099. my life. Now I'm a 112 and Jesus

1100. has not come back yet.

1101. Okay. I get that. But guys, Paul

  1102. Paul lived

1103. like Jesus was coming back during his time

1104. frame. And he he thought he was.

1105. He thought Jesus was coming back during his

  1106. life.

1107. Was was Paul just an idiot?

  1108. No. He understood.

1109. Keep your eyes on Jesus, because you don't

1110. know when he's coming back.

1111. Keep your eyes on him. He could come

  1112. back today.

1113. Now there's a large part of me that

  1114. says,

  1115. oh Jesus, come on.

1116. Let's wrap this thing up.

  1117. Let's stop. Let's let's stop babies dying. Let's

1118. stop these kids being twisted.

  1119. Come back now.

1120. But Jesus Paul Peter tells us,

1121. the the reason he's dragging his feet

1122. is because he doesn't want us to perish.

1123. He doesn't want anybody to perish.

  1124. That's the point.

1125. So shouldn't that be our point? We don't

  1126. want anybody to perish.

  1127. Jesus, I know you're coming back. I know

1128. you're coming back. This stuff gets in my

  1129. spirit sometimes strongly.

1130. Yesterday or day before or something like that,

1131. I was thinking about this.

1132. I'm praying for my kids.

  1133. I I know I've mentioned this before, but

  1134. I feel like Job.

1135. I feel like Job so much. Not not

1136. the persecution part of Job, but at the

  1137. very first part where

1138. where he's constantly sacrificing for his kids

1139. because he says, I'm worried that they're that

  1140. they've done something wrong.

  1141. Right?

  1142. I've got 5 grown kids, 3 3 biological

  1143. and 2,

  1144. daughter in laws.

  1145. And I

1146. I worry about them all the time,

1147. especially after I've talked to them and I've

  1148. been around them.

  1149. I worry.

1150. Right? They come over for dinner and the

1151. whole night, I'm like, God, help us.

  1152. Help us, Lord.

1153. So I text them all. We have this

1154. group messenger thing on Facebook Messenger, and I

1155. just send them all a message. I said,

1156. if Jesus comes back right now,

  1157. are you ready?

  1158. It it it

1159. sometimes I wake up in the middle of

1160. the night pleading with God. God, please

1161. make sure my kids are right with you.

  1162. I don't wanna take the chance.

1163. I need them there with me

1164. when we step into eternity.

1165. You should try that sometime.

1166. Text your kids whether they're grown or not.

1167. If they're 12 sitting in the other room,

1168. text them, Jesus is coming back. Are you

  1169. ready?

1170. Here's one. Teenagers, text your parents that.

1171. Jesus is coming back. Are you going with

  1172. me?

  1173. Right?

1174. As it's not something we can play around.

1175. Now my my son is sitting over here.

1176. He did text back, well, Amanda is probably

1177. gonna have to get dressed.

1178. The prize is not just for me, but

  1179. all

1180. who eagerly look forward to his appearing.

  1181. Revelation 12

    Revelation 12:10

  1182. verse 10. Now I'm gonna walk through a

1183. couple places here in Revelation. I love this.

1184. But I want you to get I want

1185. you to get a picture in your head.

1186. So this is 2000 years ago that Jesus

1187. takes John, the spirit of the Lord, but

1188. Jesus is involved with all. It's called the

1189. revelation of Jesus Christ. K. Let me help

  1190. you guys.

  1191. It's not revelations.

1192. Stop putting an s on the end of

  1193. that word.

  1194. K? If you've done it, repent.

  1195. It's the

  1196. revelation

  1197. of Jesus.

1198. Okay. So Jesus takes John,

1199. and he runs him forward, at least we

1200. know for sure, at least 2000 years.

1201. We know that much for sure.

  1202. And he starts showing

  1203. John

1204. stuff that has not happened to us yet.

1205. It has not happened still,

1206. and he shows him things.

  1207. And I love this because I wanna I

1208. wanna I wanna show you something.

1209. Maybe you haven't processed it the the the

1210. same way. But in verse 10 of Revelation

  1211. 12,

1212. it says, then I heard a loud voice

1213. now this is John. He hears a loud

1214. voice shouting across the heavens. It has come

  1215. at last,

  1216. Salvation and power

1217. and the kingdom of our God and the

  1218. authority of his Christ.

1219. For the accuser of our brothers, that's Satan,

1220. has been thrown down to earth. The one

1221. who accuses them. Now the part of what

1222. we see in Revelation 12 is John God

1223. is showing John this the revelation, this revelation,

  1224. this epiphany,

  1225. this understanding.

1226. But it goes all the way from before

  1227. the earth was created

1228. or or before Adam and Eve up until

  1229. now. Because

1230. Satan and the 3rd of the angels were

1231. cast out of heaven before Adam and Eve

  1232. sinned.

1233. K? That gets confused sometimes because where it

1234. falls in the line. But this is a

1235. good way to look at Revelation

1236. is you've got these cycles.

  1237. Okay?

1238. Starting in a past and going into the

1239. future. Backing up not quite as far going

1240. into the future. Backing up not quite as

1241. far we're going in the future. So you

1242. have these cycles that are going like this.

1243. Because we see where God will show John

  1244. something and it's it's starting

  1245. from before

  1246. creation

1247. to after it ends. And then he takes

1248. other times and he does the exact same

1249. thing. We know that Satan

1250. was cast out of heaven

  1251. before,

1252. the end of time in Revelation 12.

1253. Because Satan tempted Eve. He was already cast

1254. out at that time. When he came in

1255. before God in Job, God says, where you

  1256. been?

  1257. It ain't in heaven.

1258. He said, been hanging out on the earth.

  1259. Right?

1260. So this is part of this. But look

1261. what he says. For the accuser of our

1262. brothers and sisters was thrown down to the

  1263. earth.

1264. The one who accuses them before God day

1265. and night in verse 11.

  1266. So strong.

  1267. And they defeated him.

1268. This is temporary, but this is also transcendent.

1269. This is one of those things that God

1270. does all through the Bible, where something is

  1271. happening

1272. for you and I individually, but it's also

  1273. happening into time.

  1274. K. The temporary

1275. into the transcendent at the exact same time.

1276. We see that all through Old Testament, New

1277. Testament. I think so. They have defeated him.

1278. You have defeated Satan. How do you defeat

1279. Satan? By the blood of the lamb. That

  1280. part you can't you can't do that. That's

  1281. Jesus.

1282. He's the lamb. It's his blood. He died

1283. on the cross. That's what gives you the

1284. ability to defeat Satan by the other 2.

1285. But you have to have the blood of

  1286. Jesus.

1287. Because you have to be covered with the

  1288. blood of Jesus.

  1289. Please know that.

1290. You have to be covered with the blood

1291. of Jesus. I talk to people all the

1292. time that say they are Christians and have

1293. never asked Jesus to forgive them, become their

1294. lord and savior, and cover them with his

1295. blood. They've never asked that question. Many of

1296. these people are Catholics that have never asked

1297. Jesus to be their savior, but they grew

1298. up in the church so they think they're

  1299. good.

1300. As the same thing can happen in any

  1301. church,

  1302. any denomination,

1303. any setting. You can grow up in the

1304. thing. But until you have asked Jesus to

1305. be your savior and covered with his blood,

  1306. you're not saved.

  1307. This is important.

1308. We have defeated Satan temporarily, but also in

  1309. the end,

1310. He's gonna be defeated by the blood of

1311. the lamb and by their testimony.

1312. Remember what Paul told Timothy, preach the word

1313. of God. Preach the word of God.

  1314. This is vital.

1315. Preach the word of God.

  1316. That's your testimony. That's what I was talking

1317. about earlier. Your testimony defeats Satan.

1318. That the best way to go after Satan

1319. is, if you got this army and you've

1320. got this army, the best way to defeat

1321. that army is convince all of them to

  1322. join your side.

  1323. Then there's no army.

  1324. You win by attrition.

1325. There's no army to fight.

1326. So what do you do? You witness to

1327. them. You tell them about Jesus. You wanna

1328. bet the one of the best ways there

1329. is to save babies lives?

1330. Tell somebody about Jesus. They get saved and

  1331. they stop murdering babies.

1332. That's how we win the battle.

  1333. Our testimony.

1334. One of the best way to to change

  1335. the whole LGBT mentality,

  1336. tell them about Jesus.

  1337. Not

1338. not real against them. I mean, we have

1339. to stand up against it. I get that,

1340. but you're not winning you're not winning the

1341. battle in that. You're just illuminating the problem.

1342. It's the same thing Paul says that the

1343. law does. It just shows everybody the problem.

1344. Alright? When we when we talk about abortion

1345. bad, we we're just illuminating the problem. No

  1346. babies stop dying.

1347. But when people get it in their head

1348. and their spirit that Jesus Christ saved them,

1349. created them, wants to change them,

  1350. they stop murdering babies.

1351. That's how we win. Our testimony. And then

1352. the third one has to happen for the

1353. second one to happen. It's that we don't

1354. love our lives and we're at to the

1355. point where we're not afraid to die.

1356. If you're not afraid to give your life

  1357. for this,

1358. probably not gonna win the battle.

1359. And by the way, that's just a mantra

1360. of all warfare anywhere in any setting physical,

  1361. spiritual, or whatever.

1362. If you're not willing to give your life

1363. for it, you're probably not gonna win.

1364. But if you're willing to give your actual

1365. life for and and this is why I

1366. pick on things like, well, we're scared to

1367. death that somebody's saying something on Facebook about

  1368. us.

1369. We're we're scared to death that somebody

  1370. ridiculing us at work.

1371. Right? Oh, they said this. Did you did

1372. you hear them say that?

  1373. I don't care.

1374. Right? When we're willing to give our life,

1375. then what somebody says is irrelevant.

1376. What somebody thinks is irrelevant or wouldn't when

1377. we're willing to give our life,

  1378. then we'll we'll we'll bring our testimony.

1379. A lot of times, we don't bring our

  1380. testimony because we're scared. We're we're we're worried.

1381. We're nervous. We're what are they gonna say?

1382. What are they gonna do? What if they

1383. reject all this other stuff?

1384. For not if we're willing to give our

1385. life, we'll give our testimony

1386. that Jesus' blood covers me.

1387. And that's how you defeat Satan.

1388. Then verse 17, it says,

1389. and the dragon was angry at the woman

1390. and declared war against the rest of her

  1391. children. That is,

  1392. the church.

  1393. K? Look at this.

  1394. They the the the

1395. dragon declared war against the rest of her

1396. children, all who keep God's commandments and maintain

  1397. their testimony

  1398. for Jesus.

1399. That's what the church does. And that's what

1400. Satan gets mad about is that we're keeping

  1401. god come god's commandments

1402. and we're maintaining our testimony for Jesus, which

1403. if you think about is the 2 greatest

1404. commandments. We love god with everything, which means

1405. you're gonna obey him. And you love your

1406. neighbors yourself, which means you're gonna tell them

  1407. about him.

1408. That is that is the 2 greatest commandments.

1409. That's also our mission statement here at the

  1410. church.

  1411. Let's go to Revelation chapter 21.

    Revelation 21 chapter mention

  1412. Then I saw a new heaven and a

1413. new earth. Now who's seeing this? John.

  1414. When is this?

  1415. Not yet.

  1416. This hasn't happened yet.

  1417. K?

  1418. God is giving John

  1419. this revelation.

  1420. I I wouldn't you like to just I

1421. mean, you don't have to be the guy

1422. writing it down, but wouldn't you like to

  1423. just when tagging along?

1424. I think it would be

1425. it would be awesome and also overwhelming

  1426. and also terrifying.

1427. At the same time, all the stuff

  1428. that's happening.

  1429. Says, I saw a new heaven and a

1430. new earth. For the old heaven and the

1431. old earth had disappeared, and the sea was

1432. also gone. And I saw the holy city,

  1433. the new Jerusalem.

  1434. You understand that's not just a city. It's

  1435. the people

  1436. that he's talking about.

1437. I saw the holy city, the New Jerusalem,

1438. coming down from God out of heaven like

  1439. a bride.

  1440. A city is not a bride.

  1441. We're the bride.

1442. It's us coming down with this whole thing.

1443. Okay. A bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

1444. I heard a loud shout from the throne

1445. saying, look God's home is now among his

1446. people. Which means that wasn't just a it

  1447. wasn't it wasn't just a dwelling place that

1448. was lowering down. It was us

1449. that's coming down with this.

1450. God's home is now among his people. He

1451. will live with them and they will be

1452. his people. God himself will be with them.

1453. Guys, this is this is the thing.

1454. This is the picture I want us to

1455. get in our head of what's happening here.

  1456. God takes John,

1457. and and through vision, and I think some

1458. of it's actually bodily because

1459. the the reason I say

1460. could be bodily and vision is because

1461. God is not limited to time and space.

1462. God is outside of time and space, so

1463. all of it can be seen at the

1464. same time for God. He can see Adam

1465. and Eve, and he can see Revelation 21

1466. at the exact same time.

1467. K. That's hard for us to wrap our

1468. minds around, because we're somewhere in there going

1469. one direction. Can't go backward. Can't get outside

1470. of it. Can't see the whole thing. We're

  1471. in it.

  1472. God's not.

1473. So he pulls John out and says, John,

  1474. I'm a show you something.

1475. He takes him all the way to the

  1476. end

1477. and he says, look at this.

1478. Now here's the cool thing.

1479. John is looking at this,

  1480. and he can see

  1481. everybody

1482. that is covered with the blood of Jesus.

  1483. Every one of them.

  1484. Which means,

1485. if you're covered with the blood of Jesus,

  1486. he can see you

  1487. in the future.

1488. He can see you right during writing this.

1489. He can see you in the future. We

1490. always talk about God knows the end. John

1491. got a little glimpse of the end too.

1492. And he can see. He can see you

  1493. standing there.

1494. I would love to to somehow make a

  1495. movie of this.

1496. And you're sitting here right now, you're watching

1497. the movie that I made of John

1498. watching what God is showing him in the

1499. future that hasn't happened, and you stop and

1500. turn around in the movie and wave at

  1501. you here.

  1502. Right?

1503. This hasn't happened yet, but all of the

1504. people that are covered with the blood of

  1505. Jesus are there.

  1506. It's you and me.

  1507. And then he says,

1508. he will wipe every tear from their eyes.

1509. When John saw this, he is literally seeing

  1510. God. I I don't know if this is

  1511. like

  1512. per person

1513. or if it's like all at once, but

1514. God is wiping the tears. When John sees

1515. this, he is seeing literal

  1516. faces

  1517. of real people

1518. with tears and God is wiping that tear

  1519. away. John has already

  1520. seen

  1521. some of the faces

1522. that are in the future.

1523. Having their tear wiped away.

  1524. It could be you.

1525. How do you know if it's not or

  1526. it is?

  1527. It's

  1528. the people

1529. that are covered with the blood of Jesus

1530. that are about to step into the presence

1531. of God for eternity, what we call heaven.

  1532. John can see them.

1533. And here's one that'll throw your mind

1534. the whole space time continuum thing.

  1535. John can see himself

1536. as one of those people.

1537. Because this is real. This is not made

1538. up stuff. This is real and it's going

  1539. to happen

  1540. and you're standing there.

  1541. This

1542. this is why we keep our eyes on

  1543. Jesus.

1544. This is the point of this. He will

1545. wipe every tear from their eyes. There will

1546. be no more death or sorrow or crying

1547. or pain. All these things are gone forever.

1548. I don't know how to wrap my mind

1549. around that. I have to accept that by

  1550. faith because I don't understand.

  1551. I'd I've never lived in a world where

1552. there is no crying or sorrow or pain.

1553. I've got lots of life of sorrow. I've

1554. got lots of baggage of pain. I've got

  1555. lots of tears.

1556. And so when Jesus says, John, look at

1557. this. I'm gonna take it all the way.

1558. I have to accept that by faith because

1559. I don't know what that feels like.

1560. Could you imagine right now just inside your

1561. spirit, your mind, your heart,

1562. instantly all the hurt is gone?

  1563. Disappears?

  1564. Gone?

1565. You don't know what that feels like.

  1566. All the the distrust

  1567. gone

  1568. Instantly,

1569. this is what he's gonna do.

1570. And the one sitting on the throne said,

1571. look, I'm making everything new. And then he

1572. said to me, write this down. I think

1573. he said that because I think John's going

1574. he's like, John, Write oh, yeah. Write this

  1575. down.

1576. For what I tell you is trustworthy and

1577. true. And he also said,

  1578. it is finished.

1579. He said that once before, didn't he?

1580. At the cross, he said, it's finished.

1581. Everything that you need to be right with

1582. god, everything you need to be forgiven

1583. is finished. It's done. It's been provided for.

1584. And then when he says it this next

  1585. time,

  1586. it's

  1587. everything

  1588. forever.

  1589. Everything on this earth,

  1590. it's done.

  1591. We're there.

  1592. It's over.

1593. And we get to start the amazing part.

  1594. It's finished.

1595. I'm the alpha and the omega. The beginning

1596. and the end. To all who are thirsty,

1597. I will give freely from the springs of

1598. the water of life. All who are victorious

1599. will inherit all these blessings.

1600. And I will be their God

1601. and they will be my children. 2nd Corinthians

  1602. chapter 4

  1603. verse 16.

1604. This is why we never give up.

1605. That is why we never give up. Though

1606. our bodies are dying, our spirits are being

1607. renewed every day. For our present troubles are

1608. small and won't last very long, yet they

1609. produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs

1610. them and will last forever.

1611. When Jesus said it is finished,

1612. all the stuff you've dealt with on this

  1613. earth

  1614. will seem so minuscule.

  1615. It's finished.

1616. So we don't look at the troubles we

1617. see now, rather we fix our gaze on

1618. things that cannot be seen.

1619. For the things we see now will soon

1620. be gone, but the things we cannot see

1621. will last forever. Why don't you stand with

  1622. me?

  1623. Jesus, open our spirit.

  1624. Open our

  1625. spiritual eyes.

1626. God, I pray that every single person in

  1627. this room

1628. will just get a a little spiritual glimpse

  1629. right now

  1630. of how

1631. amazing eternity with you is.

1632. Or just give us just a little taste

  1633. through your word.

1634. Lord, that I want every single one of

1635. us in this building standing there.

1636. Every one of us covered with your blood

  1637. standing

  1638. there.

1639. And our tears will be wiped away.

1640. That we get to hear you say in

1641. person, looking right at you, we get to

1642. say, hear you say it is finished.

1643. We get to look across,

  1644. see friends,

  1645. family members,

  1646. even people

  1647. we

  1648. didn't

  1649. like.

1650. And we all get to

1651. be amazed at your glory, your presence.

1652. We get to worship you out loud with

  1653. you right there.

1654. Lord, help us to get this in our

  1655. spirit.

1656. I'm not gonna get tired of doing what

1657. I'm supposed to be doing. I'm not gonna

  1658. give up.

  1659. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna

1660. cash in and just say, I'm tired, I'm

  1661. done, I've tried this.

1662. Lord, I'm gonna pursue you. I'm gonna chase

1663. after you with everything about me. I'm gonna

1664. chase after your word. I'm gonna chase after

  1665. your truth.

1666. And I'm gonna stand when you've told me

  1667. to stand.

1668. In the name of Jesus.

1669. Jesus, every one of us in this room,

1670. convict us. If we don't belong to you,

  1671. convict us right now.

1672. Help us to get it right,

  1673. right now.

1674. But Jesus, forgive us. Forgive us of our

  1675. sin.

1676. Cover us with your blood,

1677. and make us right with God.

  1678. We repent.

1679. In the name of Jesus.

1680. In the name of Jesus.

  1681. I like Linda to,

1682. lead us in the course of this

  1683. song as we finish.

1684. Let's just tell him. Tell him in your

  1685. own words.

  1686. Lord, we love you.

1687. We worship you. We exalt you.

  1688. You're the king, Jesus.

  1689. You're the king, Jesus.

  1690. We belong to you.

  1691. Thank you, Jesus.

  1692. God, we exalt you.

  1693. We exalt you, Jesus.

1694. Lord, I want my heart, my mind to

  1695. belong to you,

  1696. my existence

  1697. to be totally yours.

1698. My life is not my own. It is

  1699. yours.

1700. Lord, my life is a drink offering.

1701. My life is a drink offering for you.

1702. Lord, pour me out any way you want.

  1703. In Jesus name.

1704. God, I pray for our church, I pray

  1705. for our city,

  1706. our state,

1707. our country. Help us to turn to you.

1708. To turn to you, the beginning and the

1709. end, the Alpha and the Omega.

1710. We wanna belong to you.

  1711. Thank you, Jesus.

  1712. Thank you, Jesus.

  1713. Before noon tomorrow,

1714. God's gonna give you the opportunity to ask

  1715. somebody,

1716. if Jesus came back right now, are you

  1717. good?

1718. Take the opportunity. Tell somebody. Look for any

1719. way possible to tell somebody about Jesus,

1720. and God will honor that in your life.

  1721. It's a guarantee.

1722. Don't forget we have prayer tomorrow night if

1723. you'd like to join us up here.

1724. If not, we will see you Wednesday night.

  1725. Shake somebody's hand,

  1726. ask them,

1727. if Jesus came back right now,

  1728. are you good?

1729. And, we will see you then. Have a

1730. great rest of your afternoon.
