There's some people in this section, right here, the Lord is saying, oh how much he loves you.

That's why he brought you here.

And he sees your mountain, he sees where you are, right here in this section, right here in the back.

He said this mountain has been blocking your destiny long enough.

And he says the only way you're gonna get over this mountain is that you surrender through your obedience and through your worship.

So I need some people in this section, right here.

I'm meddling in the day Because we mountain climbing.

You know who you are.

You love God, god love you.

But that mountain ain't got you quiet this morning, that mountain ain't got you stuck this morning.

But God is saying man of God, woman of God, he said if you surrender through worship, because I'm about to let this woman of God loose one more time, you know that woman that was just singing a few minutes ago, they told her her baby was going to die while her church was praying.

I don't think y'all understand what that means, what kind of mountain that is.

But instead of giving up, she went into apostasy or worship.

The words of that song are for every mountain that you have done what brought me over.

You sang this song before but you did not realize that it was a prophetic utterance.

You came in with the mountain right and real talk, some of you are worried because you got to leave here and deal with the mountain.

But when we sing this song, we are prophetically declaring what that he has done, what he's brought us over Woo.

Some of us came in with a trial and we got to deal with the trial.

But when we sing this song, what are we prophetically declaring?

For every trial, he's done what he's seen me, what Through.

And then we start to realize he's brought me over mountains, he's brought me over trials.

And then, all of a sudden, we say for every blessing Allowing me to be able to take care of myself, allowing me to be able to be in spite of me, providing for my needs, providing for my family, making ways out of no ways, opening doors that no man can shut, healing my body, healing people from various diseases, healing my mind, body and soul, mending broken hearts.

Every blessing we say what Hallelujah, for what?

For this, what is the this?

The mountain, the trial, the blessing.

For this God we give you praise.

It's prophetic.

You got to be strong in your faith to be in a valley, to be talking about every mountain he has brought me on.

Yeah, you got to be strong in your faith to not have a lot of money you talk about for every blessing.

You talk about overflow and you don't have it today.

But God, that's the folk that God is looking for in this season, a peculiar crowd hallelujah, hallelujah hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah.

Hallelujah, lord.

We pray for this, we fasted for this, we studied for this.

We are expecting this.

It's done, god.

I was going to ask you to do it, but it's done, god.

I believe that, by faith, I'm you.

I'm not sure.

This atmosphere is everywhere because, uh, thank you, I'm going to pray, family, what you are experiencing is the power of God.

You are experiencing the power of God and if, by faith, you open yourself up to this move of God, it will change in your life.

I speak this by faith.

The altar is wide open.

I won't ask you to stand for the reading of the word of God today.

First Peter, the second chapter, verse 9 and 10.

And the word of God reads as follows Y'all keep flowing.

'all good, take your time.

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people, a royal priest, a holy nation, god's very own possession.

As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he has called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Once you had no identity as a people.

Now you are God's people.

Once you received no mercy.

Now you have received God's mercy.

I'm going to read 9 and 10 again in the message translation, this time from the message version.

But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, god's instruments, to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night and day difference he made for you, from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.

And I would just like to speak, as the Holy Spirit would allow chosen, everybody that can say I'm chosen, hallelujah.

If you're able, you may be seated in the presence of the Lord.

If you are kneeling at the altar can say I'm chosen, hallelujah.

Amen, men and women of God, I'm here on assignment today to remind you that we have all been chosen for a season such as this.

You're not in the earth at this particular time just by happenstance.

You're not even at this place of worship, just by happenstance.

You are here because you have been chosen.

You are here because you have been chosen.

I want to let you know that God is still choosing special people and anointing them with special power.

So, because God has chosen you, you need to be reminded that when he chooses us, we are special and he gives us special power.

How do I know this?

Because the writer here is an individual by the name of Peter.

He is an apostle of the Most High God.

Do you all know what it means to be apostolic?

It means that God has commissioned you for a special assignment.

You are an ambassador to the Most High God and he is sending you because he can trust you Many times.

It's why you have the family that you have.

It's why you work where you work.

It's why you work where you work.

It's why you live where you live, is why you worship where you worship, because God has assigned you.

He has commissioned you for a work that is great.

But the thing that I enjoy about Peter is that, while there are many that will be called, there are few that will be chosen.

You ought to put that on the back of your t-shirt.

Many will be called.

There are few that will be chosen.

You see, that was something unique about Peter.

His call was not ordinary.

While there would be many others that have been called, he had an apostolic calling, which meant that when he went into territories because when you are called you are sent into territories he had the authority to subdue the strong man in that territory.

He had the ability to conquer the enemy in that territory.

He had the ability to convert people who he had turned away from God in that territory.

He was anointed to instruct in that territory and he had the ability to train and establish new anointed people in that territory.

I got some good news.

I may not be Peter Reb Shanks, but I have to be honest with you.

I know who I am in this season.

God has given me a grace in this season to look at his elect and see things in them and to encourage them and to equip them and to inspire them to not just be successful on their jobs, not to just be successful in academia, not to just be successful on the field, but to learn how to walk in their supernatural spiritual authority.

That's my assignment to you.

My assignment is to speak the bread of life until it clicks with you that is not just the pastor that's anointed, it's not just the elders that are anointed.

Until it clicks with you that it's not just the pastor that's anointed, it's not just the elders that are anointed.

Until it clicks with you that when you show up and you touch and agree, when you show up and you speak life, when you show up and you speak prophetically, you have the gift of discernment, just like I have the gift of discernment.

May I encourage you and remind you that the same power that we prayed for in this room is the same power that lives with you.

It's the same power that's going to help you to deal with whatever remounting that you have to deal with.

There is a power on the inside, somebody say there's a power in me.

I need everybody in the room, every person, every senior, every child, to prophesy to yourself that there's a power in me.

Tiffany, I see you over there.

I need you to say it, woman of God.

I need you to start to say there's a power in me.

Jonah, jacob and Joshua, those are my boys y'all.

I need y'all to say it, or I ain't gonna let you play your video games that there is a power in me.

You see what am I doing?

I'm modeling for you.

You see, this is my family, right?

So when I come under attack, guess what?

They come under attack.

So I need my family to know that there is a power in them.

So if daddy can't pray about it, they got their own spiritual authority.

I'm modeling for you Because if spiritual authority, I'm modeling for you, because if I could do it publicly for my family, guess who need to do it publicly for theirs?

You.

I need everybody in the room to start speaking life into your own family, whether they in the room with you, whether they joining virtually.

You got to speak life and let your family know that you are chosen.

You got to let your family know that there's a power that resides inside of them and under the power that God has given me, it is time for me to do everything I can, spiritually, to equip you to be what God has called you to be.

That was Peter's assignment.

That's my assignment today.

Peter had an assignment and he spoke to those individuals who had been dispersed.

He writes to the pilgrims of the dispersion and he talked to them.

You see, they were believers, but for various reasons, they had been dispersed to various areas and since they were dispersed, they were going through things and he started to speak to them about their future.

Can I be your Peter today and speak to you about your future?

Can I operate under the same apostolic anointing that Peter walked in, because Peter said I can't be there with you, but if I give you what you need, waylon, you can handle it yourself.

So what he said to him was this listen, I need you to know something.

Chosen city.

Uh, the same that Peter said to the people that he was serving.

I say to you today because you are chosen.

The first thing that I want you to know is that greater is coming.

Everybody in the house say greater is coming.

You got to say this like you believe it, because it's prophetic.

You can hear it, but if you don't receive it one more time, greater is coming first Peter.

The first chapter, verse three through five, reads as follows praise to God for a living hope.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord, jesus Christ.

In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

Can I pause right there just for a moment to let you know that, because you have made a confession with your mouth, or you have the opportunity to make a confession with your mouth today, that you believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the most high God and that he has died for your sin.

What has happened is is that you have experienced a new birth.

What does that mean?

Wow, it was Nicodemus who asked the question once upon a time can a man enter into his mother's womb for another time?

Jesus looked at him and said no, nicodemus, that's not the answer, but I'm trying to help you to understand that you must be.

You got to be.

Oh, can't you see?

You must be born again.

Nicodemus said God, I don't get it.

What does that mean?

I'm trying to figure it out.

Jesus says to him again you must be.

You got to be.

Oh, can't you see?

You must be born again.

Well, jesus breaks it down and helps him to understand that every last one of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, meaning that we have not met God's expectation.

But because he sent Jesus as the propitiation of our sins, he sent Jesus to take the punishment that we deserve.

He sent Jesus and he said that if Jesus sheds his blood, I will forgive human beings' sin, now, henceforth and forevermore.

And because they were dead in their sins, they have to be born again.

So we start with the good news concept of what can wash away our sins?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

That means, when I confess that I messed up, god, I confess that I made a bad choice, god, if I confess to him.

The word of God says who the son sets free is free.

Indeed, and I'm trying to get some people in the house of God to make a confession, not to me but to your God, that you know that he requires more of you.

And when you confess while you were once dead, in your yesterday, you suddenly get to experience new life, new birth in the spirit.

That's what we mean when we've been born again.

I'm dead to that old stuff.

Don't talk to me about nothing that happened last night.

I'm dead to that.

Don't talk to me about nothing that happened last year.

Don't ask me if I remember nothing because I've been born again.

I've been born again.

I've, I've been washed.

Don't don't bring up what we used to do on the block.

I don't want to talk about it.

Don't, don't.

Don't.

Don't bring up what we were doing over that old girl.

I don't want to talk about it.

The Lord is saying that I've been born again.

Can I speak this in the house?

That great is coming for you because you have been born again and the good news is in a crowd this size, there's somebody that came in that has not been born again just yet, but by the time you leave here, you're going to come to this altar and say what must I do to be saved?

Because that's how our God works.

He goes on to further and say when you are born again, when you have a new life, what happens is you have an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.

The Lord is saying I have something for you that is kept in heaven.

I have something for you that the enemy can't get his hand on.

I have something for you that is so good and so powerful that not only does it reside in heaven, it is available for you today.

We used to have a theology that suggested that our blessings are all on the other side.

But Jesus said I have come so they can have life and have it more abundantly.

I have come.

You have not been called to struggle all your days, woman of God.

I have come because greater is in store for you.

I wish I had somebody that believed in the power of Jesus Christ, who has died for you.

And if he died for you, what good thing would he withhold from you?

And if he says that it is stored up in heaven?

You may be thinking that I can only get it when I get there, but I got some good news.

The word of God declares that whatever is bound on earth shall be bound in heaven.

But there's another side of it, isn't there?

Whatever is what Loose on earth shall be what Loose in heaven.

So if I have something that God has in store for me on the other side and if I am in alignment with his will I have the ability to pray for the master to loose some things on this side of glory, and I need some people who knew that, who know that great is coming, but don't mind praying that God, lose some things on this side.

God, I know that I'm gonna live forever over there.

I know that there's no sorrow over there, but, god, I need to lose some happiness down there.

I know it.

Streets of gold over there, but, god, if you don't mind, can I have a little bit of silver or something down here?

Because you said, god, that if I speak it, you said, god, if I live in accordance with your word, you said, god, if I am humble and I do everything that you would open up a window, I need some people that can receive, because I'm chosen, that greater is coming.

God says in this house because you are chosen, greater is coming.

But because you are chosen, listen to this family, get ready for this.

I need you to hear this by faith.

Hear it.

Your faith is about to elevate you Because you are chosen.

Listen to this carefully, write it down.

Your faith is about to elevate you.

Peter, using his assignment, is speaking to these individuals.

He says, in all this you greatly rejoice, though now, for a little while Everybody say a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.

I know I'm speaking to many people in here who have been for a little while that honestly seems like a long while been suffering all kind of grief and trials.

Do I have any witnesses?

That's not ashamed, amen.

But this is what Peter says, under the authority that God gave him, gave him, and I say under the authority that God has given me, these have come watch this so that the to prove the genuineness of your faith.

In other words, everything that you have gone through in the last few years have not been to kill you or to destroy you, but for God to see.

How bad do you want it, whether or not your faith is as real as you proclaim it to be, and not just to prove it from the sense of testing you.

But you need a faith that has been through some stuff, otherwise you can't really call it faith.

How, how, how do I know that God is a healer if I've never been sick?

How do I know that God provides if I ain't never had a brokenness?

How do I know that God will fix my broken heart.

If I ain't never been cheated on, god is saying it wasn't meant to break you, but it was building your faith.

He said because your faith is being tried.

But when it goes through the fire of the test, on the other side your faith will be like pure gold, because this is the type of faith that you're going to need on this side of the journey, because your golden faith is about to elevate you.

Somebody say my golden faith is about to elevate me.

You see, I have been through the fire.

I need to talk to some people that have been refined by fire.

Is there anybody besides the preacher up here that really don't mind being honest and saying not only Pastor Walt have I been through the fire.

I came in in fire.

But I want to encourage you that, even though the fire is refining your faith, I once read in the book of Daniel that when God sends his people into fire, I once read in the book of Daniel that when God sends his people into fire, even though you experience fire, when you come out your clothes won't smell like smoke.

That means you ought to be encouraged because you won't smell like what you've been through, you won't look like what you've been through and people will be amazed that you was able to come over.

I want to remind you that the word of God is saying because you trust him, even though you can't see him, you believe in him and you have joy in him.

You will have salvation.

But your faith is about to take you to the next level.

I want to talk to somebody right now and say the reason the door is about to open for you is because your faith is on a whole different level.

Do I have any witnesses in the house that your faith is on a whole different level?

This morning we talked about the individual by the name of Caleb.

The word of God declared that Caleb had a different spirit.

You see, when they were able to cross over into the promised land, before they got over there, they sent spies, sent 12 people, to go take a look to see.

Was it possible?

There are some of y'all in the room thinking about opening a business and you're surrounded by some people trying to see what's possible.

There's some people that's thinking about making a move and you surrounded yourself by some people trying to see what's possible.

But I want to talk to somebody today and say that your crowd is too big.

You see, in that group of 12, 10 of them thought that they couldn't make it, but I'm here to remind you that your faith is about to elevate you.

I don't need 12 in the crowd all the time, I just need one.

As a matter of fact, in this sanctuary, I need you to look to your left and your right.

Everybody might not be praising, everybody might not be paying attention, but I'm trying to see if you could find one.

You see Caleb.

The Bible declares that Caleb had a different spirit.

That's why he thought that they could go into the promised land, even though the promised land was filled with giants.

Caleb had a different spirit.

When everybody else was saying what was impossible, caleb operated in a different spirit.

So he gave God his best, yes.

And even though a hundred thousand people, including Moses, said what they could not do, all Caleb had to do was find one Joshua.

I told you you better look to your left or to your right.

I need you to find your Joshua.

If you didn't come with a Joshua, you better look around, because if I got a Joshua and I don't care who else don't believe it if I could find one Joshua, you better look around, because if I got a Joshua and I don't care who else don't believe it if I could find one Joshua, I could tell you that we're going to possess the land.

May I tell you that the word of God is prophetic because, even though an entire generation of people missed out on the promise of God, the only two people that were able to make it in were Caleb and Joshua, because their faith elevated them On this Possess the Land Sunday.

I speak by faith that we've already purchased this land, we've already built the school.

But my real assignment is to you and your house, because there is something, individually, that God wants you to possess.

But the Lord is saying it's your faith that's going to allow you to be elevated.

You've got to have a different spirit.

Caleb had a different spirit.

He saw it the way that other people didn't See.

You're a woman, men and women of God.

Greater is coming, your faith is about to elevate you.

So the word of God is saying because you are chosen and greater is coming, you're chosen and your faith is about to elevate you.

Peter goes on to tell them something that we don't like to shout about, but we should.

He says because you are chosen, live holy, he says because you are chosen, live holy.

Because you are chosen, live holy.

Y'all thought on Possess the Land.

Sunday I'm going to stand up here and tell you you drop three nickels in the bucket, you're going to get six nickels back.

That could happen, but that ain't what the Lord told me to tell you.

The Lord told me to tell you, since you are chosen and since it's already done, live right.

Somebody say holiness is still right.

Peter, after talking to him about greater, is coming and talking to him about their faith.

He makes a curve in the first part of the second chapter, 1 Peter, the second chapter.

He said I need to talk to y'all about something.

Since the old blessing is on the way, I need you to live a little bit different.

Watch the word of God.

He said so, since all of this is coming, get rid of all evil behavior.

I need to talk to somebody in the house of God and say stop.

That's the authority that God has given me not to judge you.

You know one of the things that's hard about, pastor, and every time you tell somebody to stop, they say you judging me.

I ain't judging you, bro, I'm just saying stop because I love you stop.

I ain't judging nobody in here.

That's why I tell y'all about my stuff, because you can't say I'm judging you.

I'm'm just telling you to stop.

The phrase that pays is stop, and you know what you need to stop doing.

That's the worst amazing thing about the Holy Ghost, because you already know.

He already got you all up in your feelings right now because you know you're supposed to stop.

But guess what?

You ain't in bad company because every last one of us has been in that spot where we're supposed't stop.

Amen, somebody Listen, I need the not-so-super saints to help the new saints to be real.

If you were somebody that God told you to stop, and one time you didn't stop, can you just make some noise?

Amen, amen, amen.

And we all been there.

We all been there.

So the Lord is saying, since all of this is coming, stop.

So the Lord is saying, since all of this is coming, stop.

And we like to keep stuff light, but what happens is this If we don't stop, the word of God is clear that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life.

He said I love you too much, stop.

I'm not trying to judge you.

Stop, stop, all right.

And then when you can't stop on your own, that's when we have to learn to pray.

Holy Ghost, help me.

Yeah, that's a real prayer.

Anybody ever prayed that before?

Holy Ghost, help me.

I can't stop this lustful addiction.

Holy Ghost, help me.

I can't stop this substance that I keep putting in my body.

Help me, holy Ghost.

I can't stop the bitterness that I feel toward this person.

Holy Ghost, help me.

Oh God, I've tried to do it many times but it just keeps getting a hold to me.

Help me, holy Ghost.

As a matter of fact, I need y'all to help me preach by thinking about something I can't stop being nice, nasty.

Holy Ghost, help me, I can't stop giving folk the side eye.

Holy Ghost, help me.

I need some people that came in church, because you need the power of the holy ghost to help you to do what you can't do by yourself.

He says get rid of all evil behavior.

Listen to the word of the Lord.

He said be done with it.

He said be done with deceit, be done.

Everybody say be done with it, be done with deceit.

Everybody say be done with it, be done with deceit, be done with hypocrisy.

Y'all know what that word means.

Stop being hypocritical.

Stop saying one thing and doing another.

God's saying be done with it.

Everybody say be done with it.

We got to look in the mirror.

Now.

Don't look at your neighbor.

I see some of y'all necks start turning to the left, to the right.

Oh, we got to look in the mirror on this one and say be done with it.

He goes on to say jealousy, be done with it.

What you got to be jealous about, god has got a blessing with your name on it.

Can you receive that by faith?

I need some people in the house of God to be done with it, and all kinds of unkind speech.

Unkind speech would consist of what we say on social media.

It would consist of what we say when nobody is in the car with us.

It would consist of what we say to our friends in the parking lot.

The word of God is clear here Because you are chosen, you got to be done with it.

He said, but not only that.

The other way that we live holy is not so.

When we do these things, when we're done with these things, we empty ourselves of negativity and then we make room for God to do something afresh and new.

Verse 2, now that you have emptied yourself of deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, unkind speech and evil behavior.

Watch this now you're like a newborn baby.

He says you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation.

Cry out for this nourishment now that you have had a taste of the Lord's kindness.

The Lord is saying that if you have a desire to be filled with the Holy Ghost, if you have a desire to be filled with his love, if you have the desire to be everything that he has called you to be, all you have to do is to cry out for this nourishment.

It doesn't take a whole lot.

That's why I didn't stop the move of god at the altar.

I couldn't stop that if I wanted to, but I didn't get away in the move of god at the altar, because some people need to cry out to god so that they can live holy.

They want to cry out to god so they can be filled.

In the empty areas there is a tired mother in the room.

I hear the Lord saying that if you cry out to me, I would not only give you the nourishment that you need, I will give you instruction so that you will know how to change your life and so that you can have a more balanced work schedule.

I hear somebody in a man of God.

I hear the Lord saying men of God, you're there, you're growing and you're connecting, but there's still more that I desire of me.

But it's not going to happen until you cry out to me and tell me what you want, tell me what you need and tell me that you're willing to do life my way.

And the Lord is saying when you cry out to God, that way, I'm going to quench your thirst.

Can I talk to some real people that have come into the house of God and come in on ear, perhaps come in thirsty?

I know that word has a negative connotation in the streets, but you ain't in the streets today.

You are in the house of God.

And when we talk about being thirsty in the house of God, it means that I poured out all that I have for other folk.

I've done all that I can for everybody else.

I've done all that I can for everybody else.

You and I have some people in the house of God that understand that when you come in for the presence of the Lord and you are empty.

And he says, through the mediation of Jesus Christ, you offer spiritual sacrifices that please God.

What's a spiritual sacrifice that pleases God?

Our obedience to the Most High pleases Him.

Our willingness to follow Him pleases Him.

Our willingness to trust him pleases him when we give in accordance to his word as a matter of trust through our tithes and offerings.

It pleases him Not because it's about the dollar, but it's about our trust in him, and God is saying in this season, I need some people that are willing to offer up spiritual sacrifices that please him.

Sometimes we please him through our worship, and many times our worship is often connected to music, but every now and then you got to have a shout when there is no organist.

Every now and then you ought to be at your kitchen table with some fried chicken thighs and you start to flash back over your life and you look at everything that he's brought you over and somehow your hands get lifted up.

You've had to put the spatula down.

Now You've had to push the flour aside, because God has given you a flashback and what God has said is if I brought it to your remembrance at the moment I bring it to your remembrance, you ought to give my name some glory.

Is there anybody in the house of God that God is bringing to your remembrance everything that he's done for you?

Is there anybody in the house of God that God is showing you a vision, not yesterday's vision, but a fresh vision for today, about what he's about to do for you.

You ought to get excited because you belong to the Lord and God is going to groom you.

I think that's why God took Jeremiah down to the potter's house.

You see, god has a unique ability of fixing the broken spaces, especially when the broken spaces belong to him.
