I declare that everyone that came to the altar or even if you didn't make it to the altar but you cried out to God sincerely didn't make it to the altar, but you cried out to God sincerely.

I declare by faith that the Lord has heard your cry and the Lord is going to respond.

He has heard your cry and he's going to respond.

He's going to use this moment to show you who he is.

He's going to use this moment to show you who he is.

He's going to use this moment and it doesn't feel like it right now, but he said there will be glory that will come out of this.

He says it's not going to kill you, it is not going to destroy you, but there will be glory after this.

He says that you were strong enough to handle it and somebody else could not have handled it, so you will not only come out of it, you will be the one that will save someone else's life.

He says your testimony of what you are overcoming, you and your family and those concerning you, will be a blessing to many to come.

But he says he sees you today, he hears you today and he's going to strengthen you today.

He says when you open your eyes, you got to open with faith that you have strength.

When you open your eyes, you got to open with faith that you have strength.

When you open your eyes, open your eyes with faith that you have new power.

When you open your eyes, open your eyes with faith, that's about to turn around for you.

He says this church was built for moments like this, so that his people could come to a safe space to cry and to pray and he says that somebody here who's never been here before needs to know that this church was built for these moments.

So you are in a safe space, woman of God and man of God.

He said you've never been here before, you don't know anybody around you, but he said this was built for you so that you can have confirmation that he's heard what you are dealing with.

So he says if you need to get to the altar, it's not too late, because this is what you came for.

Somebody's breakthrough is going to come through a tear today.

He says don't be afraid today, don't be nervous today.

He said only the enemy has you thinking that somebody worried about you.

The truth of the matter is everybody in here got something that we need God to help us with.

So when you move and you're obedient, all you do is encourage somebody else to move in and be obedient.

And I hear the Lord saying chain reaction, chain reaction, chain reaction, chain reaction.

Chain reaction Says there are a few more of you just need to be obedient and there will be a chain reaction.

There will be break-ins, even online.

He said, the people that are online.

There will be a chain reaction the more, one or two, more of you just start to be obedient and hear the voice of the Lord.

You came for this.

Be the change agent, be the the Lord.

You came for this.

Be the change agent.

Be the first one.

You came for this, father, we pray for all of the souls that are on the way.

I see them coming, god in the spirit.

I see them, god.

Send them God.

They start a chain reaction.

We need a chain reaction of breaking and loosing, not just for one, not for two, but in the house.

That they'll get back and they'll get a favorable report.

That they'll get back and you would have already worked it out.

They'll get back and the stress will be removed.

That's a chain reaction in the house.

The Lord is moving in his place.

Something started at eight o'clock this morning, family, and it's been moving all day long.

There's a, there's a, there's a move in the house today.

You're in a safe space.

You don't have to leave here with it.

Whoever you are, god is saying you do not have to leave here with it.

Yeah, yeah, come on, come on, come on, come on, woo Woo, come on, come on.

I feel his presence.

I feel his presence.

Come on, come on.

The presence of the Lord is here.

Have your way, holy Ghost.

Have your way, holy Ghost.

I want every last one of us to say we believe in the move of God.

Come on, everybody.

We have to say it, say we believe in the move of God.

We came here for this.

God says he sees your broken heart.

He says you're a great person, but he sees your broken heart.

He sees your pain, he sees the obstacles.

He has heard the doubt that some of us even have.

But he is here.

Show yourself, mighty God.

God, even to every skeptic in the room that may not understand or may doubt, give them confirmation that this is a real move of God.

Give them confirmation that this is a real move of God.

Give them confirmation, god, that you are speaking in this moment.

Give them confirmation that this is your doing, god.

Glory to God.

This is Listen, family, listen to me carefully.

Take our time.

The Lord told us today to start teaching about the Holy Spirit, but the Bible declares that the Holy Spirit is actually our teacher.

So what's happening right now is that the Holy Spirit is doing the instructing.

The Holy Spirit is moving in this place.

Speak to that man.

Speak to him right now, god.

Speak to that brother right now, god, oh Lord, oh Lord.

Break whatever it is God that allows him to sometimes make bad relational decisions.

Break it, break whatever it is, father, god, that hands him some time to go back to what you have delivered him from.

Oh lord, you're here, god, I see, I feel you moving, oh God, let him cry God, but dry the tears.

Let we cry out to you God.

Only you can do this, god, only you can fix this, god, only you can transform it.

God.

So have your way in this place, o God.

Have your way in this place, oh God, god, not just for the people that are comfortable, for the people that are uncomfortable, for the people that don't understand what's happening.

Let them know that the Holy Spirit moves how he wants to move.

Lord, pour out your spirit in this place right now, pour out your spirit.

God, until there is a healing, until there is a breaking.

Thank you, god ¶¶.

That's the sound of deliverance.

Family, don't mistake the sound of deliverance and think it's defeat.

No, this is deliverance.

If you didn't know what deliverance sounds like, this is what it sounds like what is deliverance is when I finally realize that I've been where I am long enough.

I finally realize that God has something greater in store for me, and then I realize that the only way that I access it is when I fully surrender.

What does full surrender look like?

It looks like bent knees.

It looks like open hands.

It sounds like people speaking in tongues.

It sounds like people crying out to God.

It sounds like people just asking that he take the pain away.

Amen.

My assignment today is challenging because the Holy Spirit is moving in the lives of many of you, and there are also many of you that want to understand more about what's happening.

So, as our men and women of God are at the altar, keep flowing.

The Holy Spirit is ministering with you.

But I want to share some things that I pray will help the entire house.

Take y'all time, family.

You can stay at the altar as long as you want.

You can go back to your seat whenever you feel like it, but I want to share what God is placed on my heart.

Hallelujah, take your time.

Glory to God, and I declare, elder Jamal, that the Holy Spirit has just begun, I believe, by faith, by the time he's done.

Today, all of us would have had had another touch.

That's my prayer, that's my belief.

Elder Allman, I see everybody being touched by what God is going to do in this house today.

Genesis, the first chapter.

You don't have to stand today.

Genesis, the first chapter, verse 1 and 2.

We started our new series on the Holy Spirit and we'll be talking about the Holy Spirit.

Thank you, holy Spirit, for already giving us a demonstration of your power.

But the Lord is saying I've just begun, let's see what happens in the next few minutes.

Glory to God.

Glory to God, genesis 1, verse 1 and 2.

Genesis 1:1

We'll be talking about the Holy Spirit until the Lord says to do something else.

In the beginning, god created the heavens and the earth Verse 2.

The earth was formless and empty.

And darkness covered the deep waters.

My God and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

The Holy Spirit, chapter 1.

Family I don't come to you as an expert on the Holy Spirit.

There is no such person that exists.

The Holy Spirit there is no such person that exists.

But God has called us on a journey to gain deeper understanding as it relates to who the Holy Spirit is and how he operates.

He's shown us a glimpse of how he operates, but he says that you all have to take this season of instruction carefully so that you don't miss the move of God that's about to happen in your life.

As a matter of fact, for those that were willing to take notes and not just take the paper and throw it away, we passed out these notebooks when you got here.

I believe there was a pen inside of most of them, because I need you to write down what the Lord is saying to you.

There'll be times you write the notes down.

There'll be times you write your journal.

There'll be times you may even draw a picture, because God is going to be speaking to you, because this can't be one of those times where you come to church and say church was good and he said what did he talk about?

You say I don't know, but it was good.

You're gonna need this as we go on this journey, family.

You need this power because at this altar were a lot of things.

A lot of things, a lot of representation is what I want to say.

At this altar, it represented pains that some of us are familiar with the pain of bereavement, the pain of heartbreak, the pain of having grown children going through a difficult time in life, the pain of sickness, the pain and agony of disappointment, the pain and agony of trying to understand what would God have you to do next?

The pain of not hearing God like you used to.

The pain of not being able to get over something.

But I declare this house that you'll be able to get over it today.

Do y'all believe that by faith?

Can I teach y'all what it means when we use language in church like decree and declare it's not church language, it's not uh t-shirt language, it's biblical.

Because we have the spirit of God within us, we can decree and declare things in accordance with his will.

We can't get ahead of God, but we can decree and declare by faith that it is so.

So I want to decree and declare by faith that, for those that can receive this, that what you have not been able to get over in Jesus name, you're going to get over it today.

The reason God has took us on this journey to talk about the Holy Spirit is because we have a problem.

You see, in the Old Testament there were glimpses guest appearances you might say of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit would show up on individuals like Samson, as he was, as he was tied between two chains, or the Holy Spirit would show up in David's life, or the Holy Spirit would show up and we see glimpses of the Holy Spirit.

But as they started to learn more about the sacred text, they discovered where Jesus would soon prophesy, which would be the fact that the day would come where the Holy Spirit, the comforter, would be not only present, but he would be present within us, present within us.

So that meant that the old testament saints had a great expectation for you and for me that we would be able to operate with power like they had never seen before.

If you think about it, if you're daniel and daniel, one who was thrown in the lion's den and he was able to escape the lion's den without the Holy Spirit being in him, as it was prophesied it would be in us.

Daniel has some great expectation if you look at David's life, david who was anointed as a young man who will become king, but had some mess-ups.

He, he made some bad choices, he, he, he, he cheated on his, on his wife.

He made bad choices but yet, and still, he was anointed and God used him mightily and he was able to overcome all of his mess ups without the Holy Spirit dwelling in him, as the Holy Spirit would be able to dwell within us today.

David is pulling for us real hard.

David is like listen, if I can get over my mess up without the Holy Spirit being on the inside, you ought to be able to get over yours.

There was this great expectation that, because they were able to do what they were able to do with spot appearances of the Holy Ghost, that the New Testament believer would be able to do more than they could ever imagine.

But, church, we got a problem.

The raw and the real straight, no, chaser, is that.

The truth of the matter is the super majority of believers do not understand the holy spirit, nor do we understand how to operate with Holy Spirit power.

Say, pastor, how do you know this?

Did they take a poll?

They didn't have to take a poll on this one.

All you had to do is open your eyes and look around.

All you had to do is open your eyes and look at your own life.

You see, as an individual that is filled with the Holy Spirit, it is not that I don't have problems, but as an individual that is filled with the Holy Spirit, it is not that I don't have problems, but as an individual that is filled with the Holy Ghost, I have the power to get over my problems.

And what I'm seeing and what I'm concerned with is that there are too many believers that are stuck in the same place that they were 10 years ago.

You're going to have some problems.

The Apostle Paul, filled with the Holy Ghost, talked about his problem and he described it as a thorn in his flesh.

The Bible does not tell us if it was a mental health thorn or a physical thorn, but it was a thorn in his flesh that could not be removed.

The Bible goes into great detail about this thorn.

Y'all ever had something that you've been asking god to fix, that he hadn't fixed it yet.

Yeah, you, in good company.

He had this thorn in his flesh that we don't know, and he prayed for it to be removed, and god never removed it, but god did speak to him.

God said my grace is sufficient.

In other words, that meant that god, god is saying that my favor, that's on your life, my power that I has given you, even though I have elected not to remove that thorn, my grace is sufficient.

What does that mean?

That even with a thorn in his side, paul was able to write the majority of the New Testament as we know it.

Even with a thorn in his side, he was able to be a person of miracle signs and wonders.

Can I look at your life?

You got a thorn, I got a thorn, and the reason I'm talking to you, though, that there's a difference between you and paul is where paul was able to keep moving.

You have become stuck right where you are now.

Listen, this is not a sermon to make us feel bad, but this is a sermon for us to recognize that we need this power.

This is a sermon to recognize that there are people in church with titles that are not filled with the holy ghost.

What do you mean, preacher?

If I'm an individual that can't get over whatever it is that I'm trying to get over, it may be an indicator that I'm not filled with the Holy Ghost.

If I'm an individual that continues to keep a grudge and I can't forgive the person, even though they don't deserve, uh, forgiving, but if I can't forgive anybody, I may not be filled with the Holy Ghost.

If there is something happening in my life that, no matter how much I try, how much I try to get over, I said like I said at this moment morning.

I quote from the, the great book of Michael Jackson if there is something going on in your life that's too high to get over and too low to get under, and you're stuck in the middle, yeah, yeah, you might not be filled with the holy ghost.

I want to talk to you today because this is where the super majority of Christians live.

How do I know?

Because if you read about what the holy spirit does, as we will do over the several weeks, you'll realize the first and foremost thing that we're going to talk about is that the Holy Ghost is not some power, but the Holy Ghost is all power.

Now, if you can receive that, that the Holy Spirit is all power, and let's put it in this hand, if the Holy Spirit is all power in this hand.

But this is your life and this is your situation and you're supposed to have this all power.

That means whatever's going on in your life and in your situation.

If you got this all power, you should be able to handle whatever going on in your life and whatever going on in your situation.

Not only should you be able to handle it, since this is all power, you should be able to speak to this until this changes.

If this is all power, you should be able to declare to this until this thing passes.

If this is all power, you should be able to decree a thing and it comes to fruition.

So one of the two things got to be true Either the Holy Spirit is limited in his power or you ain't got him.

It's really it's tight, but it's right.

Now, this is not a shame on you type situation.

This is one of those situations that the enemy been thinking that your religiosity was good enough.

The enemy has you thinking that because you know the church anthem and you know what to say and when to say it that that's enough.

But I'm telling you, with the things that God has in store for your life and the things that God wants to do in this moment of 2024, you need to embrace the fact that in reality, I may not have his filling presence as he would have me to be.

That's a moment of confession.

I often have to depress that Lord.

I'm not sure if I'm operating with holy ghost power.

I'm not sure if I'm filled the way you would have me to be filled.

So what do you do when you're honest with God?

Well, he's honest with you and he'll tell you.

All you got to do is pray God fill me again.

That's what I was praying for, all of these souls that were in this altar, all of the souls that were in the room.

Because you know life be life and if you life long enough, you'll find yourself empty.

You can't stay filled as long as you keep pouring out into other people's lives.

You pour long enough, you're going to be empty.

Something hit you hard enough and you get a hole in the bucket.

You're going to find yourself empty.

But I want to encourage you today and say I've got some good news.

I believe, by faith in the name of our Lord and Savior, jesus Christ, that every week we will see the Lord fill people for the first time, or fill people again, because they'll have an understanding of who he is.

First thing I need you to understand about the Holy Spirit is that he is a part of the Godhead.

For those of you all that are taking notes in your wonderful Holy Spirit guide, you made it yourself he is a part of the Godhead.

Genesis 1, verse 1, declares this in the beginning, god created the heaven and the earth.

Genesis 1:1

The term Godhead talks to the divinic nature of God, that God One, god in three persons, god in three persons.

You have heard of him Blessed.

What Trinity.

Whenever we talk about the Trinity, it's often a subject of debate because the word Trinity is not found in the scriptures, but the Bible supports the concept over and over again.

The Bible supports the concept over and over again.

The first thing I wanted to tell you is that when we look at Genesis, the first chapter, verse 26, and at the moment of creation, look at what the scripture declares.

Then God said let us highlight us if you're taking notes, because it's that reminder that at the moment of creation, that there was a, there was a presence there.

That was God the Father, god the Son and God the Holy Ghost.

How do I know the Son was there?

Well, because John 1, verse 1 says In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the Word was with God.

John 1:1

It goes on to tell us that through the Word, everything was made.

So I know that the Father was there, I know that the Son was there.

There and I now see that the holy spirit was there.

He's a part of the godhead.

Matthew, the third chapter.

Verse 16 gives us a visible manifestation.

Because some of us are visible learners.

Can I show you all three one god and three person who is showing out on the scene?

Matthew, the third chapter after Jesus's baptism, jesus came up out of the water.

Watch this family.

We see Jesus.

We see the sun there.

The heavens were opened up and he saw who, family, the spirit of God.

So now we got two of them on the scene, descending like a dove and settling on him.

So we have Jesus coming out of the water, we have the spirit coming down, but up from the throne room.

Look at verse 17 carefully.

A voice from heaven said this is my beloved son, whom I am well pleased.

And now we have God the father, god the son and God the holy ghost.

What does that mean, since the holy spirit was promised to be with, uh, believers?

What you ought to be encouraged to know is that when we talk about the power of the holy ghost being within us, we're talking about god himself ruling and resting himself right there in my mind, right there in my body, right there in my heart, right there in my soul, right there in my everything.

The presence of the living God is within me.

That's why I gotta tell you something and, uh, I'm just gonna be as honest as I can.

It's the reason why you won't find Pastor Walt at Thirsty Thursdays anymore.

You won't find me at the spot where ladies free after 11 anymore.

Not that I wasn't a frequent flyer at those spots.

One upon a time I had my name.

What's up?

Walt, just the usual.

Yeah, you know.

But the reason I can't do that anymore is because, as the holy spirit has filled me and I understand who the holy spirit is, I understand that my body is the temple of God because he lives within me.

I have come to the conclusion, fam, I can't take the Holy Ghost everywhere.

I've come to the conclusion.

Sometimes I'm going to have to say no, now, real talk, young adults in the house.

I'm not telling you not to have a good time, not to kick it, but the same thing that happened to me is going to happen to you you not to have a good time, not to kick it, but the same thing that happened to me is going to happen to you.

You see, you keep walking with the Lord long enough.

After a while it's a struggle.

They're going to hit you up talking about man, let's pull up, come on, come on, let's do it.

And for a while it's going to be a struggle, but as you grow in God, what you're going to see'll get to the place that you don't want to go, because the spirit of God within you is starting to saturate your mind and you got bigger plans, don't you?

The spirit of God is in you, is starting to take over your heart, and you don't, you don't.

You don't think like other people.

Think why?

Because God's presence is within you.

Matter of fact, I want to talk to somebody right now and say that's why you uncomfortable, because you keep trying to take God to places God ain't told you to go.

That's why you uncomfortable, because you keep trying to do stuff that God ain't told you to do.

He, every time you go to that place, you feel something on the inside and that's that.

That's just God just trying to give you a little kick in the shin, saying you know better, but God is not a God that's going to force you to do anything.

He's just waiting on you to submit.

Everybody say submit.

The power of God is within you.

And if you want to experience the power of the Holy Ghost, the first thing that you have to do is to submit God is within me.

Somebody say God is within me.

Somebody say God is within me.

Declare that God is within me.

Y'all know me.

I'm not being so holy that I'm no so heavenly that I'm no earthly good, but I'm just being real to say that because God is in you, you can't participate in every conversation that everybody is having this season.

Because God is in you.

Everything they talk about on social media you don't necessarily need to be talking about.

You need to learn how to disengage and fade back.

Amen, I speak to your fade back spirit.

Right, I know you know how to pull up, but do you know how to fade back?

Because the presence of God is in you and you said I'm not going to do some of that stuff anymore.

But not only is the Holy Spirit a part of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit is his agent.

Everybody say agent.

The Holy Spirit is an agent of the Father.

We look at the text carefully In the beginning, verse 1 through 7.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and the earth was formless and empty and darkness covered the deep waters and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Then God said Let there be light.

And there was light and God saw that light was good.

Then he separated the light from the darkness.

God called the light day and the darkness night and evening passed and morning came, making the first day, verse 6,.

Then God said let there be a space between the waters to separate the waters of the heavens from the waters of the earth.

And that is what happened.

God made this space to separate the waters of the earth from the waters of the heavens.

God called the space, the sky.

The Holy Spirit is part of the Godhead, but he's also an agent of God.

What you see, what happens with the Holy Spirit being an agent of God?

When the master speaks, the Holy Spirit moves.

When the master speaks, the Holy Spirit moves.

If you look carefully at the text, the Holy Spirit is hovering over the water.

He's hovering there and he's taking his time, but then God speaks and God starts to speak to creation and, through the power of the Holy Ghost, where there was once darkness, they are now experiencing light for the first time.

May I speak that to your life, that the Holy Spirit is still moving in that same capacity, that God is speaking on your behalf, that where there was once darkness, through the power of the Holy Ghost, there will now be light.

The Holy Spirit is hovering over a place where there was nothing.

Hear this he's hovering over a place there was nothing.

Hear this he's hovering over a place where there was nothing.

Hear this he's hovering over a place where there was nothing.

Hear this he's hovering over a place that there was nothing.

Hear this he's hovering over a place that was nothing.

But then the master spoke and then establish something.

Can I prophesy to your nothing right now and say that God is about to establish something through the power of the Holy Ghost.

No matter what you are facing with, all it takes is a word from the Lord for the Holy Spirit to move Exodus.

The 14th chapter, verse 21, helps us to have a visible manifestation of what that looks like.

Here.

Moses has rescued the children of Israel in accordance with God's plan.

I speak to somebody.

Let you know that just because it's hard, it does not mean that you're not a part of his plan.

They leave Egypt, they leave bondage on the way to the promised land, and now they're stuck in the middle.

They're stuck in the middle because in front of them is a body of water known as the Red Sea.

It had Russian waves, it was deep and it was impossible for them to cross it.

Behind them was Pharaoh's army.

You see, pharaoh, let him go.

But then Pharaoh got in his feelings, god hardened his heart and he got a bunch of soldiers to come and to kill all of the Israelites.

So what do you do when you're stuck in the middle?

You can't go back because the enemy's trying to kill you.

You can't go forward because what's in front of you is trying to kill you and you're stuck in the middle.

You can't go back because the enemy's trying to kill you.

You can't go forward because what's in front of you is trying to kill you and you're stuck in the middle.

I got an answer for you.

Whenever you're stuck in the middle, matter of fact, pastor chris, before I talk about it, I need to make sure I'm in the right house.

I need to make sure I'm talking to some real saints, because this is real good and it's really from god.

Now do I have anybody that's unashamed to say that I know what it feels like to be stuck in the middle?

I said, pastor Walt, I'm gonna be real.

I'm stuck in the middle right now.

Praise God, I see you.

Listen to the word of the Lord.

What does the Lord do, uh, elder David, when a person is stuck in the middle, well, what he does is that he loosens his agent.

Look at the text.

They're stuck in the middle and Moses raises his hand over the sea and the Lord?

Somebody say the Lord.

The Lord opened up a path.

How did you do it, lord?

I opened up a path through the water.

How?

With a strong if you're taking notes, highlight this a strong east wind.

You see, when you see power in the Bible and you see the word wind, it's not talking about a natural disaster, it is talking about the wind of God.

It's talking about God's agent being released because you are stuck in the middle and his agent is one that meets you in your middle and he carves a path through your Red Sea.

But all you got to do to activate the move of God by the way of his agent, is be willing to wave your hand over your Red Sea.

I know everybody in the house of God has a Red Sea.

Deacon, kim, I know you got a Red Sea as you go through transition.

I know Adam Jamal, you got a Red Sea, but God is saying that all you got to do is to be like Moses and lift your hands over your Red Sea.

Matter of fact, I know I'm in a house.

There are many people that there's a Red Sea that has been plaguing your family for a long time.

But God has said you need to operate like Moses and wave your hand over whatever has had you bound.

Wave your hand and watch God move like he's never moved before.

That's why when we come into the house of God, we pray that he will send the wind.

Y'all ever been in church before and they said send the wind.

You wonder why they say that in church?

Send the wind.

You wonder why they say that in church, send the wind.

You see, today in church, normally, for those of us who understand the power of the holy ghost, I could say send the wind.

And they would get excited because they understand.

But we got some people that say I want to get excited too, I want the secret code too.

What are they shouting about?

What I want to tell you?

Not only is the Holy Spirit a part of the Godhead, not only is the Holy Spirit an agent of the Father.

The Holy Spirit is the living breath of God.

Holy Spirit is the living breath of God.

Look at Genesis, chapter 1, verse 2.

Genesis 1:2

Read it carefully.

The earth was formless and empty and darkness covered the deep waters and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

The Spirit of God.

In this text that word is one word.

In Hebrew is called Ruach.

Everybody say Ruachach.

It's on the screen because I'm going to encourage you to take these notes whenever you see ruach.

You're not talking about just like a tornado, you're not talking about a hurricane.

You're talking about the breath, the wind, the spirit of God, and so what happens is is that whenever there is something going on in our lives, every now and then you got to be able to pray god, breathe on us.

Let me see if I can help you to get excited about how do I experience the breath of god in my life.

Second tim Timothy 3, verse 16 I believe in a new international version, reads as follows Watch this.

It reads like this because I'm trying to help you to experience the breath of God.

Because if I'm telling you that the breath of God is where your power going to come from, if I'm telling you the breath of God is where the Red Sea is going to part, if I'm telling you the breath of God is where your family about to come back together, if I'm telling you the breath of God is where your family is about to come back together, if I'm telling you the breath of God is where it's about to change for you today, then don't you want to know how to get God to breathe on you.

Look at this scripture, all scripture, watch.

This is what family God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.

And it finally made sense in my studies that if I want the wind of God, I got to understand the word of God.

If I want the wind to open the Red Sea, I got to understand the word to be able to activate the wind, because you do know, it is the word that activates the wind.

It is not my selfish ambitions, it is the word of God alone that will operate and get the Holy Spirit to show up and show out in your life.

All scripture is God breathed.

Okay, pastor Chris?

I said I'm gonna make it real easy for this.

This is this 10 15 crowd.

One of my favorite scriptures comes out of Ezekiel.

God is trying to show Ezekiel something about his people, so he takes Ezekiel down to a valley.

Now some of the folk know what I'm talking about.

He takes him down to this valley, but family wasn't an ordinary valley, it was a valley of dry bones.

Yeah, I think it was last four o'clock service.

We talked about the fact that every now and then we find ourselves in a valley of dry bones.

It's that valley where things are not working out.

It's that valley where we have more money than money.

It's that valley where we're hoping God to move and he hasn't moved yet.

It's the valley of dry bones.

All of us have experienced the valley, sometimes because of our own fault, sometimes because we are being tested, but nevertheless the valley is a dark and dry place.

In this valley there are not just bones, there are bones that have dried out because the bones have been without substance for such a long time.

They're brittle bones.

It's thousands upon thousands of bones and as Ezekiel is looking at this crime scene, y'all do know it's a crime scene, don't you?

Because it's a crime.

What has happened to some of our lives that have put us in the valley of dry bones?

It's like a crime that some of the things that we have went through in our life and we even ask God, god, why did you allow me to go through this?

Ezekiel takes him down.

God takes Ezekiel down to the valley of dry bones and he asks Ezekiel an interesting question.

He says son of man, can these bones live?

Ezekiel gives an interesting response.

He says God, only you know.

That's an interesting response, because when you look at your situation and you're looking at how you need God to move, isn't it true that sometimes only God knows how your situation is going to turn out?

Isn't it true that sometimes only God knows if it's going to go in your favor?

Isn't it true that you've done everything that you know how to do and it's beyond you now and only thing you can say is God, only you know I love.

When we are honest with God, somebody today need needs to say God, I've prayed about it, I've laid it at the altar, but what happens next is up to you.

But what God does next, he shows us the power of the wind and the word.

He says Ezekiel, I got an instruction for you that's going to bless the people at Chosen City Church, he said.

The instruction is simple I need you to prophesy to these bones.

If y'all can recall, in some of my previous teachings, one of the things I've always encouraged you all to do Is to know a scripture Associated with your situation.

If you're broke, you better know a scripture that's dealing with anti-brokenness.

If you're sick, you better know a scripture that says something about healing.

If your heart has been broken, you better know the word of God that talks about.

He's a mender of broken hearts, because I'm here to tell you that when you are in the valley of dry bones, it's going to take the word and the wind to bring you out of that dark place.

You see, some of us have been in the valley of dry bones so long that the bones have become brittle.

That's why Ezekiel said perhaps it's too late, maybe Ezekiel had seen a resurrection before, but these bones were past the stage of comeback.

And that's some of you today that some people think you are beyond and past the stage of comeback.

But I'm here to remind you that when the wind and the word connect, that you are no longer in a place that God cannot reach you.

When the wind and the word connect, there is something that's about to happen in your life.

You see, there is power in the Ruach, there is power in his breath, there is life in his breath.

I came back because of his breath.

Do I have any witnesses that know about the power that's found in his breath?

Well, what does his breath sound like?

Well, the first thing he told the prophet to do is to prophesy to the dry bones.

I want to take a pause right here, because, in order for this sermon to have the impact that God needs it to have in your house, you got to pause right here with me and help the preacher to preach by learning how to prophesy to your dry bones.

And I need everybody in the house, every woman, every man, every boy, every girl.

I don't care if you're a student and you just want to be a starter on the football team.

You better learn how to prophesy to the dry bones.

I don't care if you're single and you're waiting on God to send somebody in your life.

You better learn to prophesy to the dry bones, because it is the power of prophecy that moves the hand of God.

And I wonder what would happen if I could get 350 people right now to start prophesying to your own dry bone.

What would happen if everybody in the house of God started operating in the prophetic and you started to talk to your dry bones?

As a matter of fact, I'm gonna give y'all 30 seconds.

If you need to look up a scripture on Google, look it up, but whatever going on with you, I need you to read that word out loud.

I need somebody to read I shall live and not die.

I need somebody to read on the head and not the tail.

I need somebody to read that my ladder shall be greater.

I need somebody to read that by his stripes, I am healed.

I need somebody to read who.

Who the Son sets free Is free.

Indeed, I need somebody to read Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.

I don't know about you, but I've learned to prophesy to my dry bones.

I've learned to prophesy in the valley.

I've looked up my broken heart and said God is going to fix that.

I need about 17 more people that don't mind prophesying To your own troubles.

How much longer Are you?

going to wait.

I can't wait much longer.

I got to get it right right now.

I need some people that need to get it right right now.

You gotta prophesy to your dragon.

As a matter of fact, without any music, I just want to hear some prophecy.

Hear the music for one second, my brother, because I want to hear y'all prophesy.

I need to hear you declare it for your own life.

Even if you don't have a scripture memorized, speak to the essence of what you know about God.

Speak and say it out loud.

Man of God, if you want it to change, you got to learn to speak to this thing.

Yeah, I don't hear y'all speaking.

I need you to speak to it Because if you speak to it, it'll get better.

There's a couple in here right now Couldn't have a baby, but they spoke to it.

Baby gonna be here about two months.

I need y'all to speak to some stuff.

I'm trying to teach a crowd of people how to speak to their situation, because God said I've given you power and if I've given you power, you can turn this thing around.

Ezekiel starts to prophesy.

Y'all prophesying.

I don't hear you prophesying in the back, ezekiel begins to prophesy.

The Bible doesn't tell us exactly everything that Ezekiel said, but in my Holy Ghost imagination I can imagine that he started to speak to their process.

The first thing that he observed was that the bones had become dry, so perhaps he had to speak to the dry place I speak to your dry place in this season.

Perhaps the next thing that he noticed was that some of the bones had been broken because they had been in the valley for so long, and perhaps he started to prophesy that God will fix everything that is broken in your life.

I prophesied that in this house, that God is fixing everything that is broken in your house, but I need you to understand that the work of the Holy Ghost is a process, because, even though the Bible doesn't tell us everything that Ezekiel said, what the Bible does tell us is that the process started to happen, and I need some people in the house that believe that the Holy Spirit is moving, that, if God doesn't fix it all today, that your process is starting to happen.

What do you mean when you read Ezekiel?

The Bible says that liquidity came back to the bones and that the broken places started to be healed.

And suddenly the tendons started to come back together and suddenly the musclesons started to come back together and and suddenly the muscles got their muscles back.

All of a sudden, protein entered the veins, all of a sudden the skeleton came back together and after a while the blood started to flow.

Can I say that to somebody's life right now?

That, lord, they've been in a drought long enough, but let your blood flow.

Let the blood of our Lord and Savior flow in their life.

Let it flow in their mind, god.

Let it flow in their heart, god, until there's an overflow, until their sins are forgiven, until their yesterday is in the past.

The Bible says that as he began to prophesy, that was the word.

But I'm here to tell you there's one thing that had a word, but you can't experience life without the wind.

And that was where the Holy Ghost showed up, because, from the four corners of the earth, the bible says that the ruach of god, that the spirit of god, it breathed on those bones and those dead bones begin to live, those dead bones begin to dance.

And I don't know about family, but you can't talk about the Holy Ghost without asking him to breathe on your dead space.

You can't talk about the Holy Ghost without asking him for a fresh wind.

And I need about 75 people and I'll be number 76 and say Lord, breathe on us.

Are y'all praying with me?

God, breathe on us.

That's what y'all ought with me.

God, breathe on us.

That's what y'all ought to be praying, right where you are.

God breathe, breathe on my family, breathe on my children, breathe on my business, breathe on my circumstance, breathe on my mind, god, so I can think more clearly.

Are y'all praying with me?

Are you asking God to breathe on you?

Are you asking God for sin to rule out your way?

You see, that's when you ought to pray like you've never prayed before, so you can experience what you've never experienced before.

Ezekiel was willing to prophesy even though he didn't know exactly how it was going to turn out.

And that's what I need some of y'all to do to prophesy even when you don't know how it's going to turn out, because we prophesy by faith.

We prophesy based on what God has shown us, and I need some people that God has shown you a glimpse of what your tomorrow is going to look like.

If God has shown you a glimpse of the fact that it's going to get better for you, what you got to do is ask God to breathe on you so you can get to the place where God would have you to be the Holy Spirit, part of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit, an agent of the Father.

The Holy Spirit is the breath of God, and the last thing that you need to know about the Holy Spirit today is that he still hovers.

Somebody say he still hovers.

Look at verse 2.

Verse 2 declares that the Spirit of God was hovering.

Watch this the earth was formless and empty and darkness covered the deep waters and the Spirit of God Y'all know what it is now the Ruach of God, the breath of God, was hovering over the surface of the waters.

That ought to be some good news for somebody in here that the Holy Spirit still hovers.

When we look at that word hover, it's the word brood.

It's only used a few times in the Bible and we get a best example of how it's used.

To understand what the Holy Spirit is doing in your life by looking at nature.

Anybody familiar with eagles?

Imagine an eagle high up in a nest with baby birds that are not full grown.

They can't quite take care of themselves just yet.

They can't feed themselves all the time, but they have to get to a place where they can stand on their own.

So what mama eagle does is mama eagle leaves the nest so that the babies can start to grow up.

But what?

Even though mama bird left the nest, mama bird never left the eagles.

You see, what an eagle will do is that it will hover over the top of the nest.

Can y'all imagine?

You ever seen an eagle before?

I need you to help me out.

We're going home now.

I need you to bring out your eagle wings.

Y'all, y'all, bring out your eagle wings.

The eagle is hovering over the nest and the mama has taught the babies how to feed themselves.

But when she sees that one of her babies is struggling, she'll swoop down and put a little worm in the eagle baby's mouth, because the eagle mama is still hovering.

And as the mama is hovering over the nest, she understands that these baby birds have not reached full strength and every now and then a predator might be bold enough to climb the nest and and to take a bite out of one of her babies, but because of the mama's eagle wings.

Now, if you've never seen an eagle before, let me tell you about something if you want to make an eagle mad, you've picked the fight that you don't want.

And oftentimes an an eagle will spread her wings to scare the enemy, to say hey, dog, this ain't what you want.

And I want to tell you that the Holy Spirit works in the same capacity.

He hovers over us.

When you can't feed yourself, he'll swoop down and feed you.

When the adversary is coming to destroy you, he'll spread his down and feed you.

When the adversary is coming to destroy you, he'll spread his wings to protect you.

When you don't know which way to go, he'll point his wings in the right direction.

I don't know about you, but the reason that I made it to this point in my life, despite all of the bad decisions that I made, despite all of the mistakes that I made in, despite all of the mistakes that I made in business, despite all of the mistakes I made in church, despite all of the mistakes I made in my family, despite all of the mistakes I made in my marriage, despite all of the mistakes I made raising children.

The reason that I am still here is because the Holy Ghost, he still hovers over me and that ought to be some good news for you.

You ought to walk with some confidence now because the Holy Ghost is hovering over you.

The Holy Ghost is keeping you when you can't keep yourself.

You ought to be glad that the Holy Ghost Hovers over the water.

The Holy Ghost as he hovered over the water, the same Holy Ghost hovers over me.

You ought to high five your neighbor and say I thank God for the Holy Ghost, I thank God for his hovering over me.

You ought to high five another neighbor and thank God for his covering you, thank God for his keeping you, thank God for saving you.

You see every now and then the little bird in the nest.

He gets besides himself and he thinks that he's ready to fly.

Now.

Mama Birdman told that bird.

Bird, you ain't quite ready yet, but the baby gets ahead of the bird and jumps out there anyhow.

What do you do when you jump out there and you find yourself ahead of God?

Well, because the bird was still hovering, because the mama eagle was still there even when I fell, because I got ahead of the plan, I'm so glad that he'll swoop down and pick me up and won't let me hit the ground.

I want to talk to somebody today.

Perhaps you got ahead of God, perhaps you did it your own way, but because he hovers, he declares I'm going to swoop down and I'm not going to let you hit the ground.

What my witness is at who can testify?

You know what it feels like To sometimes get ahead of God.

You know what it feels like To sometimes do it your way, but God jumped in Just when you needed it the most.

God blocked it and he wouldn't let me fall.

That's my testimony.

That's why I sing Because my God blocked it and he wouldn't let me fall.

Well, family, it's time to go.

The Old Testament saints they get happy about the fact that he hovers on the outside.

But the Old Testament saints they get happy about the fact that he hovers on the outside.

But the Old Testament saints said don't leave here today, with him hovering on the outside, what would happen if you allowed that same power that's been keeping you from the outside?

What would happen if you let that same power Start working on the inside?

What would happen if you let that same power Start to regulate your mind?

What would happen if you let that same power Start to regulate your heart?

What would happen if you let that same power Guide you every footstep?

I'll tell you what would happen.

What you're praying for would happen.

What you're crying for is going to happen.

What you're believing for is going to happen.

What you're expecting God for will happen.

And it happened because something on the outside started working on the inside and something got a hold of me.

Me, I like how the old church said I went to the river one night and my heart wasn't right, but something got a hold of me.

And that's my prayer as we talk about the Holy Ghost yes, learn the history.

Yes, learn the Bible, but nothing will happen, family, until something gets a hold of you.

And I need God to get a hold of some people in this church who've been stuck where they are long enough.

I need God to get a hold of some marriages that have been stuck where they are long enough.

Are y'all praying with me?

Do you have something you need God to get all in the middle of it?

Well, all you got to do is say Father, I stretch my hand to thee.

No other help I know.

If thou withdraw thyself from me, oh Lord, where shall I go?

When you pray like that, when you open up like that, the Bible declares if you wait long enough and you ask him to fill you up, he's soon to fill you again.

And that's my prayer today, family, that none of us leave here empty.

That God will start the process, that he will fill some until it's overflowing and he'll start to feel others.

I need y'all to pray with me We've got about 15 seconds left that God would feel some people who came into this place empty.

That God would feel some people who came into this place broken.

That God would feel some people until they understand their assignment.

That God would fill some people until they understand their assignments.

That God would fill some people until they start to be what you called them to be, until they start to do what you called them to do.

God fills somebody until they get past the heartbreak.

God fills somebody.

Until they get past the heartbreak.

God fill somebody until they get past the lies.

God fill somebody until they get past being fired.

Fill them up, god, until there's overflow.

Because at Chosen City Church, not only do we want to be filled, god, we want to run over.

Do I have some saints in the house of God?

They say, god, I want to run over, I need overflow that goes into the saucer.

I need overflow so I got enough for my children.

I need overflow so I could do what you call me to do, because it's in this season of my life, god, we need some power.

We need power.

Breathe on us, god.

Lord, we need power.

Breathe on us in this place.

God, you started breathing on individuals before, but there's some other individuals, god.

Breathe on them.

Breathe on them.

Do what only you can do.

The word has gone forth.

Now, god, we need to win.

Breathe on your children, your sons, your daughters.

Breathe on their circumstance.

God, breathe on them.

Your power is real.

Breathe on them, lord, your power is real.

Breathe on us all, god.

Help us, god, to be better.

Breathe on us, god, until we are no longer depressed.

Breathe on us God until the tears are dried away.

God, there are some people in this house that have a void.

There's a void in their life.

Breathe on the void into this field.

The Holy Spirit provided us with an opportunity earlier to get to this altar and ask to be filled.

But I also think it's important to provide an opportunity yet again, because for some of you, now you have even more words to understand who the Holy Spirit is.

You now understand that he's part of the Godhead, even more so.

You understand that he's an agent of the Father, you understand that he is the living breath of God and you understand that he's still hovering, he's still covering, but he wants to get on the inside.

He said I'm going to hover and I'm going to cover.

He's still covering, but he wants to get on the inside.

He said I'm going to hover and I'm going to cover, but I want to get on the inside.

So I extend an invitation to anybody that maybe didn't come to the altar the first time or needs to come to the altar again.

I want to extend an invitation to you, because we'll minister and meet you right here at this altar.

I want us to stand to our feet because there may be some people that need to move, but as we invite people to the altar, we also want to invite people to be in fellowship with us, to be a part of this family and if that same Holy Spirit we've been speaking about, preaching about, has spoke to you because you need a covering, you need a church family, I want you to come Now.

What I often will ask our partners to do, and I ask you to do it now just turn to the person next to you.

First, ask them how they doing and second, ask them if they have a church home.

And if the answer is no, ask them would you mind allowing Chosen City Church to be your covering?

Ask them would you mind allowing Chosen City Church to be your covering?

Ask him would you mind allowing Chosen City Church to be your covering, because we all need a covering.

And if they say I don't mind, I want you to grab them by the hand and I want you to bring them down here to this altar.

That Holy Spirit has been speaking to you about your relationship with God.

Is your relationship with God as of this very moment, where God would have it to be?

If you can't answer yes with a certainty, then we want to minister to you about that.

If you can't answer yes with a certainty, then we want to minister to you about that.

Perhaps you may need to rededicate your life to the Lord.

Perhaps you've never confessed with your mouth.

See, the scripture teaches that we have to confess with our mouth and believe in our heart, and then we'll be saved.

So if you're a person that's never confessed, that you believe that Jesus.

Christ is the Son of God and that he's died for your sins.

We extend this opportunity to you and if you've never been baptized or you didn't know what it meant when you got baptized early on in life, we extend this opportunity to you.

Church family y'all keep checking on people.

When y'all check on people, they have a very positive response.

Now I want you to check and make sure everybody next to you that if they've made a confession with their mouth and they've been baptized because that's the beginning of us being filled with the Holy Ghost, that's the beginning when we confess and we believe.

So we're going to make sure that nobody leaves here the way that they came.

Glory to God, and now, as we wait on those individuals again, I extend this invitation to the altar for somebody, anybody that wants somebody to pray with you, that you can be filled afresh with this power.

You need this power.

You need to leave here with this power.

You don't need to get in your car without this power.

You need this power.

The Holy Spirit is saying he's available for you.
