[Part 6] The Holy Spirit: The Strong Man Must Be Bound | Matthew 12:22-29 | Pastor Walter Bowers Jr.

Thank you for your goodness.

You've been so good, so good, your loving kindness towards us.

You've been so good.

Great is thy faithfulness.

Morning by morning, new mercies we see.

Spirit of the living god fall fresh in this creature.

Touch, like only you can move, like only you can speak, like only you can deliver, like only you can transform, inspire, encourage and quit like only you can.

And oh, inspire, encourage and equip like only you can.

And oh, lord, when it's all said and done, we'll be careful to give your name all of the glory, give your name all of the honor, give your name all of the praise, for it's in the powerful name of Jesus we pray.

Let the people of God all say together amen, amen, amen, amen, jesus, we pray that the people of God all say together amen, amen, amen To God, be the glory, to God, be the glory To God, be the glory.

We're continuing in our journey in this series on the Holy Spirit, this series on the Holy Spirit, not including the three days that we spent in a impromptu encounter, worship experience we have now reached, I think, chapter six if I'm not mistaken, as we continue to understand who the Holy Spirit and how he operates, the word of the Lord today comes from Matthew, the twelfth chapter, verse twenty-two through twenty-nine.

Matthew twelve, verse twenty-two to twenty-nine.

And if you all don't mind, we enjoy reading the word of God together here.

It helps it to stick.

So let's do that right now.

Ready set read.

Then a demon possessed man who was blind and couldn't speak was brought to Jesus.

He healed the man so that he could both speak and see.

The crowd was amazed and asked could it be that Jesus is the son of David, the Messiah?

But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said no wonder he can cast out demons.

He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.

Jesus knew their thoughts and replied any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed.

A town or family splintered by feuding will fall apart.

And if Satan is?

casting out Satan.

He is divided and fighting against himself His own kingdom will not survive.

And if I am in power by Satan, what about your own exorcists?

And if I am in power by Satan, what about your own exorcists?

They cast out demons too, so they will condemn you for what you have said.

But if I am casting out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has arrived among you.

For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods, only someone even stronger, someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house, family.

We continue our journey talking about spiritual warfare.

So we've been talking about the work of the Holy Spirit and now we understand, as we taught it last week, that we have been filled to fight.

And I would just like to use as a subject today is the Holy Spirit would allow.

The strong man must be bound.

Somebody say the strong man must be bound.

Say it one more time.

Say the strong man must be bound.

You may be seated in the presence of our lord.

The book of ephesians is clear in the sixth chapter that we wrestle not against flesh and blood.

If we can handle that the word of God is clear that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, that the fights that we are fighting are spiritual.

Today, if we're going to see victory in spiritual warfare, we have to understand that the only way that we're going to see victory is when we get to the place that we can defeat the strong man we have to get to the place in which the strong man is defeated.

Now you may be trying to understand who the strong man is.

I'll help us, as the Holy Ghost would allow.

The strong man is our adversary.

He is in opposition to everything that God has said or spoken concerning you and your family.

The strong man operates in what John the Revelator would call the spirit of the Antichrist.

Now, in the book of Revelation, in the book of John, we'll hear constant conversation about the Antichrist, the spirit of the Antichrist, and while that sounds hard to understand and sounds scary, if you look at the word and break it down, anti means in opposition to Christ.

In a nutshell, the strong man is in exact opposition to everything that Christ has spoken.

When John talked about one that operate in the spirit of Antichrist, he said it's not just one person, it is several people.

He said he was dealing with prophets who were prophelying and not prophesying.

He was dealing with individuals who were speaking things in opposition to what God said.

For example, in John's day there were individuals who claimed that they believed in Jesus, but they did not believe in his resurrection.

He said that was an antichrist spirit, because how are you going to say something in opposite of what God has said?

When we talk about the strong man, we're talking about that force in your life that is speaking the opposite of what God has decreed and declared over your life.

John gave us help with how to deal with the strong man.

He said that because the strong man works in the Antichrist spirit.

That's where we get the language that we have to test the spirit by the spirit, meaning everything that glitters ain't gold, everything that looks good ain't good, everything that tastes good ain't good for you.

We gotta test the spirit by the spirit to make sure that what we are hearing, what we are doing, what we are saying, is in alignment with the will of God for our life.

The strong man everybody say the strong man.

The strong man represents this.

To say it plainly, the strong man is that voice that says the exact opposite thing of what God has spoken to you.

Can I make it plainer than that?

In this season of your life, you have to be careful not to listen to the strong man.

I love my wife, but I want to tell y'all something about the strong man.

He'll operate through anything and anybody, at any time.

Uh, as a matter of fact, I'm not careful.

The strong man operate through me.

You see, the strong man's uh objective is to ensure that you stop believing what god has decreed and declared and stop looking at what god said and start listening to what they are saying.

I use my wife as an example.

My wife is an amazing woman of God.

She has my back 10 times out of 10.

But every now and then, when the waves get a little bit rocky, y'all know what I'm talking about.

If you ever been through something in marriage, maybe the money look funny and the change look strange and your credit wouldn't get it.

Some of you know what I'm talking about.

All of a sudden, sometimes I could even hear the strong man start to speak through her and say I'm worried.

If we're going to make it, you got to silence the voice of the strong man.

Anybody know what I'm talking about.

Every now and then you can sit on the pew next to your favorite pew member and while the worship is going on, they start talking about other stuff.

They start distracting you.

They're not bad people, but the strong man can speak through anybody at any time.

Anybody know.

Well, maybe it's just my family.

You ever had a situation in your family where everybody was looking down upon you, everybody.

You were the subject at the dinner table, everybody talking about your stuff as if they didn't have stuff.

But I'm here to remind you that the responsibility of the believer that's dealing with spiritual warfare is to silence the voice of the strong man.

Y'all don't know how many church meetings over my journey that I have been in, and somebody start talking about charts and darts and stats.

But what do you do when the charts and the darts and the stats don't add up?

We, we walk by faith and not by sight.

And over the years, and even in church meetings, when somebody and the strong man starts speaking through that deacon, the strong man starts speaking through that trustee.

The strong man starts speaking through that elder.

I have to shut that stuff down, because I said that the strong man must be bound.

I don't care if you're at the family reunion and pooking them.

Start talking sideways about your spouse.

I need about five people that say no, the strong man must be bound, because what you ain't going to do is come against me and mine.

Why am I here today?

Because we are in a season of spiritual warfare.

We're in a season where you're on the edge of your breakthrough.

You're on the edge of what you've been praying for.

You're on the edge of what you've been praying for and the enemy has loosed the strong man to do all that he can to help ensure that you miss out on what God has decreed and declared for your life.

That's why the strong man must be bound.

Man must be bound.

Next time you're in a business meeting and the business partner talking sideways and it doesn't sound like faith every now and then, the strong man must be bound.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I can't hear everything that's sideways in this season, because I understand this is war.

I understand that the enemy can't I can't allow him to plant any seeds and sow seeds of discord in this season.

The strong man must be bound.

In our text, jesus helps us to understand spiritual warfare so that we can get to the place that God would have us to be.

The first thing that Jesus helps us to understand is that you've got to understand something about the strong man's attacks.

The first thing that you've got to understand is that the strong man's spiritual attacks manifest physical problems.

I want to talk to somebody in the room and let you know that the Bible is clear.

I repeat it for the third time that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but some of the things that we deal with even in the natural.

It starts in the spiritual realm, but then it manifests itself in the physical.

Now, to be real plain, I can't say that type 2 diabetes is always a spiritual attack.

Often that's a McDonald's or a Burger King attack, but every now and then there are things that happen in our body.

They happen, they just manifested in the body, but in reality it started in the spiritual realm.

Let's look at the text here briefly.

Look at what the word of God says in in in verse 22 then a demon possessed man, who was what, blind and couldn't see, was brought to Jesus.

We understand there was a spiritual attack.

Why?

Because he was blind?

Well, because he was demon possessed.

We understand that this was a spiritual attack.

Why?

Because he was blind?

Well, because he was demon possessed.

We understand that this was a spiritual attack because he was demon possessed.

What was the physical manifestation of his spiritual attack?

The physical manifestation of his spiritual attack was that he was blind and he couldn't see.

What I love about this is that somebody in his circle was wise enough to bring him to Jesus.

I want to talk to somebody that's dealing with something in the spirit of a spiritual attack.

I want to let you know that you're in the right place, because the word of God is clear that when the deacon can't fix it, when the pastor can't fix it, when the clergy can't fix it, when the hostess can't fix it, when nobody else can fix it, you just got to surrender yourself and get into the presence of Jesus.

They get in his presence and watch this.

When, because they get in his presence, jesus, he's in the right posture for God to move in a supernatural way in his life, and that's good for this man that was born blind and couldn't see.

But I want to spend about 30 seconds and talk about you.

I need you to come to the realization that some things that you are dealing with in the natural are really stuff that you have not yet warred with in the spirit.

I repeat for the fourth time we wrestle not against flesh and blood.

Anger management issues sometimes are the result of stuff that we have not dealt with in the spirit, and now it's manifesting itself in the natural spirit and now it's manifesting itself in the natural.

Your ability, not even sometimes, to manage money is sometimes something that is going on in the spirit realm and now it's manifesting itself in the natural, because the enemy will manifest whatever he needs to in the natural to keep you stuck right where you are.

For some of y'all it will be a financial issue, but for others, finances won't be the problem for some of you, something, something's going to happen in the spirit and all of a sudden, now you don't have the faith that you used to have.

If it don't add up, you don't trust it anymore.

You don't trust it, you don't trust anybody.

And that's a result of something that has happened in the spirit and is manifested in the natural.

Sometimes it's sickness in our body, but every now and then it's sickness in our mind.

Sometimes it's sickness in our body, but every now and then it's sickness in our heart.

The strong man is saying that I'm going to attack you on the spiritual realm so that I can manifest something in the natural.

There's a reason that every day now not every other day, every day now we turn on the news and there's been yet another homicide in the city.

And I'm here to remind somebody, the raw and real straight no, chaser.

We can have programs, we can have youth programs, we can have teen programs, we can have top programs.

We can do all of these, their programs, we can do all of this stuff.

But I'm trying to tell you that that the solution, uh, is not found in the at the white house, it's not found in in city hall, it's it's not found in the government.

Government can't deal with what we are dealing with.

You know why?

Because for the time we wrestle, not against flesh and blood, and the only way some child is going to pick up a gun and kill another child is because something is happening up here, but we keep fighting down there.

It manifests in an increased homicide rate.

It manifests in fentanyl.

It manifests in fentanyl.

It manifests in the 80s in the crack epidemic, and they was wondering why it wouldn't shift, because we've been fighting the wrong fight for too long.

It manifests in the physical, but the word of God declares that if my people yeah, that's us who are called by my name, yeah, yeah, yeah shall humble themselves and pray, then I will hear from heaven, go into spiritual warfare If my people decide that the homicide rate got to come down.

If my people decide that we're going to turn the divorce statistic around.

If my people decide that they want better for their own children.

If my people decide that they want better for their own lives.

If my people decide to trust me.

when they can't trace me, I don't care what is manifested in the physical.

Now you are engaged in spiritual warfare and the word of God says then I shall heal their land.

The strong man's spiritual attack They'll heal their land.

The strong man's spiritual attack manifests physical problems and the strong man's objective is simple.

The strong man desires to divide the body.

Matthew 12, verse 23 through 28.

Reading carefully, the crowd was amazed.

Could it be that Jesus is the son of David, the Messiah?

But when the Pharisees heard about the miracle, they said no wonder he can cast out demons.

He gets his power from Satan, the prince of demons.

Do y'all see what's going on before we get to 25?

You got a crowd of Jewish individuals that are celebrating and I start now trying to see what God is doing and then you got another crowd who's supposed to be the leaders, by the way, over here talking sideways.

It's like that sometimes we can't even celebrate the move of God together when everybody, somebody always having something to say.

What does Jesus do here?

Verse 25, he goes a little bit further, because Jesus knows their thoughts.

I want to talk to somebody right now and remind you that Jesus knows all of our thoughts.

He says something that I thought just blew my mind, deacon Aaron Galloway.

He said this any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed.

Can I deal with that sentence a a kingdom.

We are kingdom builders.

Did y'all know that as a church, we have been assigned to build the kingdom of god?

We've not been designed, called to build the church of pastor walt.

We have not been called to build a church of chosen city.

We have been called as kingdom builders Every church that loves Jesus and calls him Lord.

We are kingdom builders.

We have been called to build the kingdom of God together, the place where God rules and super rules, the place where God reigns, the place of miracle signs and and wonders, the place of surrender, the place of joy, the place of peace, the place of happiness, the place where God is ordering our steps in his word.

And the only thing that can come against the kingdom, according to Jesus, is if the kingdom becomes divided.

Do y'all understand that I'm not anti any denominational preference?

If you love Jesus, I'll shout with you, matter of fact.

If you love Jesus and your church, don't shout.

Y'all.

Golf clap, I'll golf clap with you.

If you love Jesus, we can ride together.

You believe in the word of God and the Bible is his entire counsel.

We can, we can rock together, but one of the things that the enemy did early on in the game was he started to see that there were nuances as it relates to our understanding of the faith.

There were nuances as it relates to our understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit.

So one of the most dividing things that he did in the kingdom was to give us denominations.

While I'm not coming against one or coming against the other, I'm not coming against non-denominational, I'm not coming against Baptist, ame, cme, abc or 123.

But what I am telling you is the concept of that.

We believe in the same God, but y'all do it like that over there.

We believe in the same God and y'all do it like that over here.

We believe in the same God and we do it like this right here, and we can't go to do this work together.

Instead of building a kingdom, we building little projects.

Y'all know about the projects.

You may not be where I'm from.

If you're from New York, you know about the projects.

If you're from the 30 South, you know about the projects.

And instead of building a kingdom, we building little projects, because projects struggle, because they don't work together.

And God is saying I'm trying to get some people that want to build a kingdom Instead of building projects.

I'm trying to get some people that want to be a kingdom instead of building projects.

I'm trying to get some people that want to build and focus on Christ instead of your own religious tradition.

I'm trying to get some folk that want to come together and build and be what God is call you to be, because the enemy understands, if I can keep y'all divided, that you will never do the work that God has called you to do.

That's why I'm so glad that God has sent Lottie Dottie and everybody in this house.

We got folk from all type of reformations and backgrounds and, amazing thing, y'all know what we've done.

We've come together with one accord.

It ain't the Baptist accord, it ain't the with one accord.

It ain't the Baptist Accord, it ain't the AME Accord, it ain't the Coaching Accord, it ain't the Church of God Accord, it ain't the Non-Denominational Accord, it is the Kingdom Building Accord, because it is in our unity that we find our strength.

Media team, I need them to put the text back up, because this text Jesus talks about not only kingdoms coming apart, but he said any kingdom divided by civil war is doomed.

But look at this second verse and this one ought to touch you right where you are A town, city of Charlotte, anything that is divided.

But I don't want to really talk about the city of Charlotte today.

I want to talk about this second part that Jesus talked about.

A family splintered by feuding will fall apart.

We are a church family and that's why when I hear people talking sideways, I got to shut the strong man down.

Somebody start talking to the left.

I have to bind that type of conversation because I believe in shutting the strong man down.

It's not just for the churches, for the people in your house, the people that got that same B positive blood and that old negative blood you got.

The people that got that same B positive blood and that old negative blood you got.

Jesus himself has declared that the reason that your family has not overcome that generational curse, the reason that same proclivity keeps showing up, it's because y'all are so divided you can't talk about what's really going on and get to the main thing.

It's the reason that people get divorced and they still love one another because the enemy has divided them and they can't deal with the root of the issue.

Everybody want to talk about the fruit.

She said this and he said that and she didn't take care of the kids and he didn't wash my car.

But nobody want to deal with the roots, and the root is that the enemy is attacking our families.

The root is the enemy don't even want you to know that his attack is not about your spouse, but it's about him trying to cause division.

How many times over the years have I been in pastoral care conversations and I never hear the spouse talk about what the enemy is doing.

They always talk about what Leroy didn't do, they always talk about what Sally Mae didn't do, but nobody ever talks about what the enemy has done.

I can't remember the last time I heard somebody say you know, I need to pray for my spouse, because I understand that's not her, it's the work of the enemy when the last time you looked at your children and said your children ain't crazy.

But we wrestle, not against flesh and blood, because Jesus has declared that the strong man is on the loose.

He's tearing down families day by day.

He's tearing down marriages day by day.

He's tearing down businesses day by day, because your business wasn't an ordinary business.

Your business idea was going to be the one that was going to change some stuff in the atmosphere.

Your business was going to be the one that was going to give some people some employment and you was going to give people a chance who wasn't going to never have a chance.

Your business was going to be the one somebody was going to get delivered sitting in the barbershop jail, but you abandoned it because the enemy got into it Because we wrestle, not against flesh, and the strong man wants to divide because the strong man wants to conquer.

Jesus said that the strong man desires to divide you so that he can overtake you.

And while it's true that the strong man's spiritual attack manifests physical problems and the strong man desires to divide the body, I got some good news, family.

Our God is greater.

I need some people that believe that to understand now that we are dealing with a strong man.

I need some people that don't mind testifying that our God is greater.

Somebody say our God is greater.

No, you got to say it like you mean it.

You understand now that the reason things have been happening in your life is not because of the person that you are in relationship with.

It's not because of the person that you are operating with.

But the strong man has been on the loose.

But you got to be able to prophetically declare that our God is greater.

You don't believe me?

I'll show it to you.

Here's verse 29.

Verse 29.

For who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man and plunder his goods?

Only someone even stronger, someone who could tie him up and plunder his house.

I want to tell you that maybe they didn't catch it then, but I sure caught it this week.

Jesus has declared that many of us are dealing with strong, the strong man who has come against everything that God has declared for our life.

But Matthew 12, verse 29 is the constant reminder that our God is greater.

Matthew 12:29

He says that the strong man has some power and he said the only way that the strong man can be defeated is as if someone greater comes up on the scene.

He said that this someone greater has to be stronger.

I once read in the word of God that our God is greater, our God is mighty, our God is stronger than any other.

I once heard a songwriter declare who can stand against the king?

No one can and no one will.

I once heard that same songwriter declare that victory belongs to Jesus, that victory belongs to him.

How do I, the strong man, and bind the thing that has kept us bound and to take into captivity the thing that has us stuck?

That's why it's important for us to get to the foot of the cross, because at the cross, at the cross, cross, that's where I can lay my burdens down.

The cross is where I can cry till I can't cry no more.

The cross, that is where I can call on our savior.

I need some people that are dealing with a strong man, that don't mind calling on the Savior.

Say it like they did in the old church I'm crying, savior, oh Savior, hear my humble cry, and while God, on others thou art calling, do not pass me by.

The strong man.

He's been a loose too long.

The strong man he's been working too long.

But, God, I know that you are greater, God.

I know that you have more for me, and that's why I know that a shift is about to come into my life.

I need about five people who aren't ashamed to testify that you've been wrestling with the strong man long enough and in your own power perhaps you couldn't do it, but our God is great and the strong man is about to be bound.

And when the strong man is bound.

You no longer walk around in depression when the strong man is bound.

You no longer walk around in depression when the strong man is bound.

I no longer have to deal with the drug abuse because somebody's strong man is a substance abuse issue when the strong man is bound.

I'm no longer bound by pornography because somebody's strong man is a lust of the flesh.

I need some people that don't mind.

Being honest, it's a fact.

For what I came into the house and I ain't gonna lie to you, Pastor I've been dealing with a strong man, but I just heard a prophetic word that gave me the strength to know that I can bind a strong man.

Some of y'all have been trying to birth some stuff.

And it hasn't happened yet.

But when you bind a strong man, that's trying to block what you're trying to birth.

You better get ready for the shower.

I need about 15 people, everybody.

Get ready for the shower, because the strong man has been in the way all of this time.

He's about to get ready for the shower because the strong man has been in the way all of this time.

He's about to get down.

Well, pastor Walt, how do we bind the strong man?

Well, what I need you to do, I need you to go home and get into the fight.

I need you to go home now and get ready to bind the strong man.

Do I have some people that are committed to binding the strong man this week?

Are you committed to binding the strong man that's been attacking your mind?

Are you committed to binding the strong man that's been attacking your heart?

Are you committed to binding the strong man that's been attacking your purpose?

Are you committed to binding the strong man that tries to attacking your purpose?

Are you committed to binding the strong man that tries to get you out of your assignment?

Well, I got some good news.

Ephesians does declare that we wrestle, not against flesh and blood, but we are the power now to go home and bind the strong man.

What do you mean, pastor Walt?

Well, in Ephesians, the sixth chapter, the Word of God tells you how you can go home and bind a strong man.

The way that you are going to go and bind a strong man is that you're going to go home now and put on the whole armor of the Lord.

Now, listen, we don't have time to deal with all the armor today.

But just like last week I gave you one piece of armor, I told you to persevere in prayer, I'm going to give you one more piece of armor today that's going to help you to bind the strong man as soon as you get home.

What about people?

That's going to bind the strong man?

Look at Ephesians, the sixth chapter, and you're about to bind some stuff up, because the word of God reminds us For the seventh time that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against evil rules and authorities Of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

Well, what do you do when you're fighting something that you can't even see?

Good God Almighty.

I'm fighting in the dark.

I'm fighting in the blind, I don't know which way to swing.

Well, in the sixth chapter there is a word from the Lord.

When you can't see what you're fighting, the word of God says don't put on any armor.

Put on God's armor so that you can do what you need to do.

And the thing that you need to do today is learn how to stand.

It's right there in verse 13.

Put on every piece of God's armor so that you can resist the enemy, he says.

Then, after the battle, you will stand firm.

I need to talk to some people right there and let you know that the word of God declares when you go home and face the strong man, all God is asking you to do is stand, and as you stand firm.

Verse 14 says stand your ground.

Now, that has a legal connotation in our society today, but what you need to understand about the principle of standing your ground is that if the adversary comes knocking on your door, if the big bad wolf comes climbing down your chimney, you have no obligation to run.

As a matter of fact, the law expects you to fight.

That means if you come to my door at 2 o'clock in the morning trying to make your way in to harm my family.

What happens to you next is no longer my concern, because I was minding my own business and you came knocking at my door and because you came after me.

Don't come for me unless I send for you.

But the strong man has showed up anyway and I need to talk to some people.

The strong man is kicking in your front door and I heard the Lord say that you got to stand firm and fight.

You can't hide in the closet now.

You can't go tucking away in the bathtub.

You can't run and get in the attic and that's the problem.

Some of y'all want to run from the fight, but if we're going to bind the strong, man, we got to stand up and fight.

You got to reach in your spiritual draw right down the side of your bed and pull out that good one.

You know what I'm talking about.

And if you're from the old school, maybe you got a spiritual weapon.

Then all you got to do is chamber one, let God Almighty, and that's sound hit difference.

I need some people that don't mind chambering one in the spirit.

Then let the strong man know this ain't what you want.

I need some people in the house of God that don't mind being strong.

You ought to talk to the strong man right now.

Go ahead and chamber one and tell the strong man this ain't what you want.

You better get out of here while you still can.

I'm not going to let you have my family.

I'm not going to let you have my money.

I'm not going to let you have my health.

Let me chamber another one, because I roll double barrel.

I'm trying to tell somebody that we are in spiritual warfare and, at the end of the day, the word of God declares the way that you are going to stand is putting on the belt of truth and the body of God's armor for righteousness.

And here is what I want to tell you in a nutshell that the belt of truth and the body of God's armor for righteousness.

And here is what I want to tell you in a nutshell that the belt of truth is how you are going to feed the strong man this week, because the belt of truth is the truth of what God's word has declared.

It is not subjective, it is not your truth, it is the truth.

We got to be careful in spiritual warfare when we're not relying on our truths.

That's culture talk.

That ain't Bible talk.

The culture say your truth is your truth, what the Bible says, that Jesus is the truth.

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the Bible says that Jesus is the truth.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

I don't want to remind somebody when you get home today.

You got to be able to sit on the truth of what God has declared concerning you and yours.

Stand on the truth when you stand in truth.

That's how you put on the breastplate of righteousness.

The breastplate protects sensitive organs like your heart.

Your heart keeps getting broken because you keep falling for lies.

Your heart keeps getting broken because you're trusting the wrong people.

But if you put on the belt of truth and the breastplate of righteousness, the Lord said I'm going to protect your heart, I'm going to protect your mind.

Put on the belt of truth, and you got to know the truth about what God has said concerning you and yours.

Do you know the truth about what God has said about you?

The only thing you can stand on is the truth of what God has declared.

If God showed you that he was going to rescue and save your family I don't care what the people say Will you stand on the truth of what God has declared?

If God showed you a prophetic vision of something coming back together in your life and it seemed like it's getting further and further apart, I can't stand on what it looked like.

I got to stand on the truth of what God has declared and when I found myself standing on the truth, I put on righteousness, which means that I am in right standing with God because I stand on the truth.

Does that make sense?

I don't stand on the past.

I don't stand on problems.

I stand on the truth.

Whose report shall you believe, family, as we stand to our feet?

The strong man must be bound, but you got to get out of your feelings and stand on the truth of what God has spoken.

The strong man must be bound, but you got to get over what you want and get into his will.

Too many of us want to talk about what we want and not about his will and what you will ultimately learn.

What you will ultimately learn about the will of God is that his will is greater than what you want.

We have this subconscious thinking that being in his will is going to cause us to lose out on something that we desire.

It may cause you to lose out on something that you desire, and if that's the truth, that's just because God has something greater.

He has something greater, but he's waiting to see.

Are you willing to stand and be in his will?

It's time to go, but we got to bind some strong men.

today we got to bind everything that is coming against what God has declared and decreed for our life.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for being greater.

I thank you because you have the authority and the ability to bind the hands of the enemy, to bind the things that have been coming against what you have declared for our life.

I thank you because, as we understand the work of the Holy Spirit, we understand it is the work of the Holy Spirit that allows us to put on the whole armor and Father God as we put on the whole armor, and Father God as we put on the whole armor, as we put on truth, we come against all of the lies that have been spoken against us.

We come against all the lies that have been said about us.

We come against all the lies and the misunderstanding.

We come against that right now, in the name of Jesus.

We come against division.

We come against the physical manifestation that is the result of spiritual warfare.

We are binding the strong man and the attacks, and God understands why.

But you told us that every time he shows up, we have the authority to bind him.

So I pray right now, in the name of Jesus, that every last one of us walk in spiritual authority To be able to bind the strong man that is coming against everything concerning us.

We decree and declare in this house that the strong man is bound.
