Avoiding The Spirit Of Nominalism | 2 Timothy 3:1-7 | Bishop Peter Baloyi

Hallelujah, hallelujah.

I just want to greet you all in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ, our soon-coming King the great.

I Am the one who was and who is to come, the one who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or even imagine.

The one who is able to open the streams of waters in the desert, the one who is able to make a path in the wilderness.

And this is the God that we are saving this morning.

And I'm greeting, and I'm bringing a kingdom greetings all the way from South Africa and first of all from my wife, my beautiful wife Pumzile, and my three daughters and my grandson, the junior bishop.

I just want to thank God for them to allow me to come to this area, to come and share the word of God.

And I'm also bringing greetings from our local church, which is Basilia Empower Center.

Basilia is a Greek word that stands for the manifestation of the kingdom on earth.

So our purpose, it is to make sure that the kingdom it is, it is not just spoken about, but becomes a manifest presence of, of god.

Hallelujah.

And I'm also bringing greetings from our sons in faith in the eglisea global kingdom network, and we just want to thank the lord for this opportune time that god has availed for us to come and share the word or partake in breaking the bread together, and I also want to take this opportune time to also honor the set men of God together with the first lady of the house and also including the children.

You know, sometimes people become shocked when I salute and also give honor to the children.

In most cases I use these words.

The children of the fivefold ministers are a sacrifice to most of the ministers, because they are sacrificed by us as pastors, us as the fivefold ministers, and they are not leading the same life that the other children are in the position to lead, so we actually sacrifice them.

That's why, in most cases, I salute them, because I know the sacrifice that they are making just for their fathers or their mothers to be in the position to serve us.

So I just want to thank God for this opportune time and I don't want to waste any more of your time, but I want us to go straight to the Word of God and I want us to open our Bibles.

It's of prime importance to understand Just before we even go to the word of God.

I also want to salute my mom in the house, pata Harriet, pata, harriet Porter, and for some of you who might not know, I've known them since 2006.

They are not strangers to me.

It is not my first time actually coming to the US.

I've been coming to the US from 2006, and that's when I actually met them and I was encouraged by their love for me to come to the US.

And I just want us to go to the Word of God.

And this wonderful morning I want us to speak on a topic which speaks about averting the spirit of nominalism, and we are reading from the book of 2 Timothy, chapter 3.

But know this In the last days, perilous times will come for men who will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud blasphemers, disobedient to parents, and unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving slanders without self-control, brutal despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty lovers of pleasure rather than the lovers of God.

And the key verse is verse 5.

Having a form of godliness but denying its power, and from such people turn away, for this sort are those who creep into the households and make captives of gullible women, loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Father, we thank you for the reading of the word.

We bless and glorify you.

We worship you, heavenly Father, and we magnify you.

We pray that, heavenly, that you speak to us and through us, in the wonderful name of our Lord, jesus Christ.

We give you glory, lord.

We give you praise.

We worship you, heavenly Father, and we honor you.

We magnify you and we uphold you.

We uplift you and we know that, heavenly Father, that you are Lord.

We pray that, heavenly Father, have your way, your way, heavenly father, in this place, mighty god, we give you glory, we give you honor, we give you praise.

We worship you, lord, and we know that, heavenly father, that you are our lord and you are seated, heavenly father, on the throne.

We give you all the glory, the honor and the praise and we worship you in jesus, mighty name.

We pray and let the church say amen, we may be seated in the presence of God.

There is a spirit that has crept in in the church and has taken possession of the church.

You know, if we can check, the understanding and the real presence of Christ has been replaced with something else, which is just religious activities.

When we speak about nominalism.

It is something that has become a culture in the church today and it has become acceptable.

Maybe sometimes we need to ask ourselves that what is actually nominalism?

Somebody else maybe is asking this question.

What is nominalism?

Nominalism To some of us.

Maybe let me explain it from the Christian perspective.

Nominalism, it is when the real presence and the demonstration Seem to have left the church.

Nominalism, it is when people become mechanical in the church and leave God and the presence of God outside the church.

It is of prime importance to understand that one thing that happens in the church.

Nominalism also brings where people start reasoning than listening to the revelation that comes from God.

When we become those who are attached or who are connected to the spirit of nominalism, or those that are taken over by the spirit of nominalism, we fail to even discern the real presence of the things that are seen and those that are not seen.

You know the Bible in the book of Galatians, chapter 4, verse 19, and the book of 2 Timothy, chapter 3, also gives us a definition of what nominalism is One of the things that we need to understand about nominalism.

Or a nominal Christian or a Christian who is under the spirit of nominalism, these are those Christians whose Christianity does not go beyond just identifying with the church.

They are satisfied with just saying we are members of the chosen city.

They are just members.

They might be connected to the church, but not connected to God and his spirit.

It is of prime importance to understand that these people might be involved in every program of the church, but they are not connected to the spirit of God and they are connected under Jura because they are forced or it has become just a habit for them to attend church.

The connection with the Holy Spirit and Christ is not there.

You know, as I said, such Christians will participate in all programs of the church but they won't progress, they will not move, they will not mature because they don't understand the need that is there for sacrificing and for commitment to Christ.

And someone who participates in the church just only through a sense of habit, or because the pastor is expecting it, or because it is a social tradition or because it is fashionable, and sometimes it is because we grew up like that and some days we just go to church, but if you check it, most of us are not even connected to the one that we say we are going to serve Most of us, when we come to church, we are coming not seeking his heart, but we are seeking his hand.

Nominalism, it is a spirit where people only come to be in the position to be materially changed by God, and that's the reason why a nominal person, you will see him or her.

Some of us who are in here, I'm sorry to say this If God can give you $3 million, we will not see you anymore in the church.

Nominal Christians, you will see them by being controlled by what God gives them and not being connected to the heart of God.

That's the reason why we have Christians that sometimes, after God has blessed them, you will see them no more in the church.

The moment they drive that Bentley, you will not see them anymore in the church.

The moment they get that private jet, you will not see them anymore in the church.

Then you will see that this was just a nominal Christian.

So we are living in the days.

That's what the Bible says.

These are perilous times.

These are the times that we need to be in a position to watch.

And the word of God?

In verse 5, it says they have a form of godliness, but they deny the power.

Let me tell you when they come in the church.

They even make sure that even when they are late, they make you look, or they make you see them, as if they are committed to God.

You will see them making sure that they are not.

But in their hearts they are not connected to the Father.

So it is of prime importance to understand.

The word of God says they have a form of godliness, but they deny the power, and that's the reason why we are sitting with Christians.

We are sitting with people.

We are sitting with saints.

We are sitting with Christians.

We are sitting with people.

We are sitting with saints.

We are sitting with members who have just become part of the furniture.

They are not connected to the Father.

A non-international Christian is a Christian, you know.

That's the reason why we need to differentiate.

You will see them.

They look like us, they dress like us, they even sing like us.

Sometimes they even sing in the choir.

Sometimes they are even in the finance department, but they are nominal Christians.

Why?

Because they are even in the finance department, but they are nominal Christians?

Why?

Because they are not connected to the Father.

If you want to see the spirit of nominalism in the church, you will see people being content with only part of Christianity, only part of the Christian faith, and most of the time they connect only to part of the Christian faith and 90% of their time they are connected to the worldly culture and standards.

You will see them by no commitment.

They might be committed to the church but not committed to Christ.

There's a difference between being committed to the church and being committed to Christ, because when you are committed to the church, you can attend every program of the church, you can come every Sunday, you can come to prayer meetings, you can do all these things, but your heart is not connected to God.

When you go out of the church, you become someone else from the one that we saw in church.

You taste worse than the mother-in-law of the devil.

That is what the nominal Christian does, you know.

It is important to understand that nominalists are those who observe cultural Christianity which is only shown in the external forms of devotions and godliness and denying the power of the Christ's resurrection.

It is important to understand.

When you look at the book of Timothy, it says that you are having the form of godliness and denying the power.

And the word of God says such people we need to turn away from.

And the word of God tells us in verse 6, it says they will creep, which means they will use the same strategy that was used when the, the, the, the children of Israel were supposed to leave Egypt.

They will come in unknowingly, they will make sure that they mix themselves with you, they will make sure that they become part of the program, they will make sure that they are available to serve the man, but not the man, christ.

You know, sometimes, as the fivefold ministers, we are fooled by those who surround us.

We are fooled by those who come to church.

We are fooled by those who sometimes are giving Out of abundance, not out of the heart.

Some of us, we need to ask ourselves why.

Jesus, when he looked at the two pennies, at the two dimes that were given by the widow, when he said she gave more than anyone else, she was not looking at the material, but he was looking at the heart.

It is high time that we understand and differentiate that there is a difference between the matter and the manner.

So God is looking for those that will understand the importance of the matter and the manner.

So sometimes the matter might be greater than the manner, but it is important that the manner should reciprocate the matter.

You can't just come and give when your heart is there.

There are some who are giving grudgingly.

Those are nominal Christians.

If always, when you're supposed to give, you are always complaining, search your heart.

When you are supposed to do things, search your heart.

When you are supposed to share your faith, search your heart, you know.

It is important to understand that Christianity demands sacrifice and commitment, and it is not just sacrifice and commitment to the mechanical things, but it needs sacrifice.

It needs that you need to die so that Christ might live.

When I speak about sacrifice, I'm not just referring to coming to the service.

You need to sacrifice your person and let the person of Christ live in you.

Because if Christ is not alive in you, if you are not dead, if your carnal being is not dead, if your flesh is not dead, if your carnal being is not dead, if your flesh is not dead, if you are still connected to your old self, then you must know you are not sacrificing.

The sacrifice that we are speaking about.

This is the one in the book of Romans bring your bodies as a living sacrifice, the one that is holy, the one that is pleasing.

So when we speak about nominal Christians.

They are not ready to sacrifice, they are not ready to die, they are not ready to let the carnal man die.

Nominal Christians want to put Christ and the devil in the same room.

When they are here, they look holy, they play holy, they act holy, but when they go home, home, they are a different species.

When they go to work, some people are even shocked oh, is that one also a christian pastor?

One day somebody else will shock you.

You will be saying to them proudly so, so, oh, that is the member of my church.

And this person will say we never even thought this person ever entered the doors of the church Because of the life that they are living in their workplace.

So it is high time that the spirit of nominalism, the spirit of not having the Christ-like nature, is supposed to die in us.

The word of God says for this sort, they will creep in.

You know, one of the things that we need to understand about the issue of nominalism is that these people don't carry the DNA of God Christlikeness, godliness, not religiosity, but godliness.

You know, if you want God to be in a position to use you, we need to understand that.

There are some, as I said, who are coming with a superficial faith.

When I speak about a superficial faith, it is that faith that is only trusting God for material things.

They don't trust God to be in the position to do anything.

We need the job type of Christians.

Some of us, we are still saving God because we still have everything that we have.

We still have our cars, we still have our houses, we still have our children.

If you want to see a nominal Christian, see them lose whatever that they got.

They will become like the wife of Job and they will curse God.

Nominal Christians they don't have the Job type of faith.

They will serve and follow God as long as they still have material things.

But the moment they lose them, the moment everything is taken from them, then you will see their true colors.

Job had to save God, had to glorify God, had to worship God.

Nominal Christians will not save God in their time of lack.

They will curse God and even doubt God.

Nominal Christians will not serve God in their time of lack.

They will curse God and even doubt God.

They will even ask where is this God?

They will even blame God.

Nominal Christians don't understand that we serve God, irrespective of what we might be going through or what we have.

We are not saving God because of the material things that he is doing for us, but you are saving him for the resurrection power.

Can you stand, can you still come to church when you have nothing?

Can you still do what God wants you to be in the position to do?

Can you still serve the way you are serving when everything is taken away from you?

Can you still serve God when the text man comes and takes everything from you?

Will you still become the same person or are you going to say where was this God when the text man came for me?

Today, it is of prime importance that, as Christians, it is critical that the consciousness of us as Christians is supposed to be thoroughly established.

We need to be in the position to check our houses.

We need to be in the position to check our churches.

We are building apostolic and prophetic houses, but unfortunately, we are building with nominal Christians, those that will crack when something drastic happens in their lives.

We are looking for Christians that will have the character of God, the DNA of God Most of us, I think we know.

When we speak about the DNA, it is what differentiates you or what will make you to be similar to your father.

So when we speak about Christians having the DNA of Christ, the DNA of God, we are supposed to be in a position to make sure that we possess the DNA of the Father.

And when we have the DNA of the Father, we are going to be the voice in earth and not just the noise.

Today, it is of prime importance that, as christians, it is important that, as as sons we are, we are called to the sons of god.

Therefore, our hearts and our spirits are supposed to be connected to the heart of god in order to produce that which god wants us to produce.

That's the reason why the word of God in order to produce that which God wants us to produce.

That's the reason why the word of God says you will know them by their fruits.

So, if we are connected and we have the DNA of God, we are going to produce what God wants us to produce.

And if we are connected to him, we are going to become, irrespective of what is happening, we are going to become what our father is.

That's the reason why the word of God says I am the great vine.

Anyone who is connected to me will be in the position to produce.

What are you producing as long as you are not producing what God wants you to produce?

You must know you are living in the time or you are operating in the spirit of nominalism.

Christians are not growing anymore in the church.

They just come to church to come and dance.

It has become a social club, not a transformation center anymore.

Churches have become social clubs.

That's the reason why we are even competing with the world.

If you can check, most of our churches will have all the disco lighting because we are trying to mimic the world.

We are trying to make sure that the nominal Christians are also accommodated.

We want them to feel like they are in the club.

Why is there?

In the church?

We are trying to take the club into the church and not the church in the church.

We are trying to take the club into the church and not the church into the club.

Nominal Christians are enjoying that because we as a church have made or created a platform for them.

Instead of speaking about the saving grace, instead of speaking about Christ, him crucified, we are trying to accommodate them.

We don't carry the DNA of God.

It is high time that we release the purpose that God has in us or about us.

It is high time that we represent the kingdom the way the kingdom is supposed to be represented.

You know, it is of prime importance to understand that we are supposed to be the replica of who God is.

We are supposed to be a representation of God on earth.

We can't represent God unless our hearts are merged with God.

When our hearts are merged with God, when our hearts are connected and merged and become one thing, we cannot represent God.

The reason why the church has become like this we have become very accommodative.

This is now the time that we do a DNA test.

Can we do a DNA test, some of us?

If you go to the Trinity Court and your DNA is tested against your father, who is God and Christ, they will say according to the DNA results, it shows 0% connection to the father.

We are not.

We are no longer supposed to be those that will just come to church and just enjoy church, but we need to make sure that we enjoy our connection with the Father.

You know, jesus says my meat, it is to do the will of my Father.

What is your meat?

What is your meat?

Jesus was so connected to his father that everything that he wanted to do when he set my meat, he was actually saying everything that I do every day, everything that will satisfy me, everything that will make me grow, everything that will be connected to me, it is doing the will of the father.

May we please move to that stage where we say my meat is to do the will of my Father.

May we have the DNA of God.

You know, we can't do the will of the Father unless we are spiritually connected to the vision, unless we are connected to the heart of God.

Remember when I said we want the are connected to the heart of God.

Remember when I said we want the hand but not the heart.

What is the hand?

It is what God can give us.

What is the heart?

It is being connected to him directly.

We are supposed to be in the position to draw from the Father, and the only way for us to draw from the Father it is to have what we call a heavenly download.

May God download things into our spirits.

May God download things into our lives.

May God download things into our church.

May our church not become a nominal church.

May our churches not become a church that will just accept anything just for the sake of accommodating people.

May our church not become a church that will just accept anything just for the sake of accommodating people.

May our church not become a playground for the devil.

May our churches not become a playground for the demons.

We need to make sure that when we come out of here we are supposed to be those Christians that when you enter Into a subway, if there are demons, they should not just manifest, but they need to be in the position to go out by just your presence, without you saying anything, because you will be possessing the DNA of God.

When you go into Walmart, when you come to someone, the DNA of God.

When you go into Walmart, when you come to someone who is demon possessed, the demon should not manifest but it should go out and people should come and say to you when you passed next to me, there was this fire and the power that I held and whatever pain that I had left my body.

When those who are in pain, when you pass, just your shadow, just your perfume, should be in a position to change their lives, transform their lives, give them new meaning, then they should ask you what do you have when we have the DNA of Christ.

We don't just speak about him, but he's manifested through us in every place that we go.

When we have the DNA of Christ, when we have the DNA of God, when we have the DNA of our Father, people will just see us from the distance that that one belongs to the father.

How many of us are ready to go and do a DNA test?

How many of us are ready to go and do a DNA test?

I am urging you, I am challenging you go and do a DNA test.

Where are the fruits?

Where is the evidence of the fruits?

Are the fruits visible?

Are we reflecting what Christ wants us to be in the position to reflect?

You know, the children of God are living like slaves.

Why are they?

The sons of the king?

And I want to bring this back for you to understand.

I'm not against being rich, but I'm against riches going to those who are not connected to the father, because I'm praying for a season at a time where we are not going to stand in front of the church and say we need so much for the building project, where somebody else from the church.

We will just have millionaires in the church that will be in the position to say I will build that sanctuary, I will build that building for the children's church, I will buy those buses for the church.

We are looking for those type of Christians that will be in the position to have the DNA of God.

There's nothing wrong with having millionaires in the church.

The reason why we don't have millionaires in the church is because those that became millionaires were nominal Christians.

Hence they left the church the moment they became millionaires.

They left the church Some of them the moment God blessed them.

You know, sometimes some people say oh, you know that person ever since he became rich he changed.

No, he didn't change rich he changed.

No, he didn't change.

Money just revealed the real person or who he was.

So sometimes money reveals who you are.

That's why I said there is some of us in here, there is some of you in here.

If God can give you millions, we'll never see you in this church anymore.

It is high time that we understand.

It is high time that we take a deep stick and check what is actually happening in the church dipstick and check what is actually happening in the church.

You know it is.

It is so sad that more than 2,200 churches or 2,200 people are coming into churches, but the problem is, when they come into the church and find the nominal Christians, the lukewarm Christians, they change them and put them back into the world, because they come and say we are the same, I'm from the world, but the world is in the church.

I'm from the world, but the things that I ran away from, I'm finding them in the church.

Maybe somebody else might be asking what do you mean, bishop?

What are you saying?

When, when, when?

One of the things that you need to understand is that when, when, when, when, when, when there is nominalism there is.

You know.

You know the spirit of nominalism creates, you know, a a an impression that there is growth in the church, but you find that it's not growth, it is swelling.

And when, when, when there is swelling and inflammation in the life of the person, in the life of the christian, you need to understand that there is bacteria and the bacteria is nominalism.

Some of us we are happy about the numbers, we are happy about the quantity, but we are not Checking the quality of the people that we have in the church.

It is high time that the church must check the quantity and the quality.

I don't have any problem With the quantity, but I have a problem with the quantity and the quality.

I don't have any problem with the quantity, but I have a problem with the quantity without quality.

It is important to understand that.

A nominal Christian, you will see them.

You know the only thing that they speak about it is when they overemphasize material blessings.

If you want to see that there is no nationalism in the church, you will see that we are no longer bringing disciples.

We are just happy that there were.

So there was 3,000 decisions, those who accepted the Lord.

But we are not checking, we are not doing a research of saying how many of those who got saved last year have become disciples.

If you want to see that the church and the members are nominal have become disciples.

If you want to see that the church and the members Are nominal, you know they become too excited About just the preaching Without the powerful insight Of the teaching.

That's the reason why, if I can sit back and start speaking Very calmly, people are going to start getting bored and sleep because we want to be excited without insight.

Nominal Christians just want excitement, not insight.

When you you you want to see that the church or the person is a nominal Christian, you will see that they lack intensive prayer life.

When you want to see that a person or a church is a nominal church or Christian, you will see them being powerless, passionless, lifeless and only concerned about themselves.

You know we speak about the kingdom.

We speak about the kingdom, but we are not bringing the kingdom on earth.

Can I ask the chosen city, city?

Your DNA?

Does it tell you that when there is a church that is struggling next to you, it can buy the pews?

How many churches have you bought pews for that are struggling?

How many churches or pastors who are struggling did you look at and say there is a pastor who is struggling, let us from the kingdom mandate, let us go and help that person.

Nominalism makes you think that you are in heaven just because you've got a beautiful sanctuary.

You are in heaven because you can make so many thousands of dollars in a month.

Nominalism makes you just to be excited about yourself and yourself only.

Nominalism makes you to be that person who says me, myself and I.

But one thing that I have to tell the church today the effect of nominalism is that the church will start sinking into a canal body.

Without the Holy Spirit, the devil and his demons will create a field of play in the church.

The worship in the church will not be acceptable unto God Because they cannot worship in the spirit.

Canality and unspirituality takes over.

Demonic activities are in open display in the church.

If you want to see that a church or a person is suffering from the spirit of nominalism, you will see by the low spiritual atmosphere.

You will see that there will be backbiting and carnality in the church.

There will be sinfulness and ungodliness in the church.

You will see that there will be defeated Christians in the church.

There will be lack of personal relationship with the Lord and can I say this, pastor, some will be seeing the preacher as the intermediary and forgetting that Christ is the intermediary.

There will be hypocrisy, there will be secret sins, there will be scandals and ungodly scenarios.

When there is nominalism in the church, when there is nominalism in the life of a person, it is high time that we understand that.

The word of God says that in the book of Ephesians, chapter 4, verse 12, it says that God called in Ephesians 4, verse 11.

Apostles, prophets and pastors.

They were called for the keeping of the saints, and the keeping for the saints was so that the saints should come to the fullness of Christ.

Nominal Christians don't reach the fullness of Christ.

Nominal Christians don't want the fullness of Christ.

Nominal Christians don't reach the fullness of Christ.

Nominal Christians don't want the fullness of Christ.

They just want to come to church, but they don't want Christ.

They just want to be part of the church, but they don't want the fullness of Christ.

So I'm here to tell you today that nominalism creates a false impression that there is growth while his Christ is not formed in us.

Nominalism creates a facade where you think that, oh, you become so satisfied that, oh, the services are well attended, but are the hearts well attended?

Too Many people can join the church, but how many people are joining Christ?

Remember I said, quantity must translate itself to quality, and when we speak about quality, we speak about discipleship, discipling those that God has called for us.

One of those things that we need to make sure is that we need to bring people in contact with Christ.

When they come to church, they should not come to this person, they should not come to that person, but they should come to Christ.

You know it is important to understand that God wants a transformed church.

Jesus wants a transformed church.

It is not enough for us just to think that now we have arrived.

God wants us to make sure that we bring change in our communities.

It is very dangerous to have the spirit of nominalism in the church.

Why?

Because the churches will become, or Christians will become, historically religious without the power and the impact and the future of the church is bleak and it will become a social club instead of an impact center and the enemies of the gospel will prevail in the church.

Sin will prevail in the church.

The church will have the bad image and nominalism.

I have to say this to the five-fold ministers nominalism becomes a barrier to the growth and the expansion of the church and you know what will happen the church doors will be closed and the church will be turned into a nightclub.

Christians will become religious.

People are going to be destroyed.

So it is high time that we understand that God is looking for genuine Christians, that God is looking for genuine Christians.

The book of 2 Corinthians, 5, verse 17, says to us that behold, all things have passed away.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Behold, all things have become you.

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

God has given us the ministry of reconciliation that people might be reconciled to God.

As I'm approaching the end, I want to say you, if you want to see sound and saved Christians those are not the nominal ones For you to see the quality of genuine Christians, you will see the victorious life.

You will see personal devotional time.

You will see Bible knowledge.

You will see people being spirit filled.

You will see a knowledge.

You will see people being spirit-filled.

You will see a lot of things changing in their lives.

And I want to say to us God wants to cure nominalism in our churches.

God wants the powerful and manifest presence of the Holy Spirit.

The powerful and manifest presence of the Holy Spirit.

God wants productive prayer in our churches.

God wants the emphasis of discipleship in our churches.

God wants rounded or built up and rounded up people in the church.

God wants us to have the courage to change the unchanged.

It is high time that we focus on God and his weight.

We focus on God and what he wants us to be in the position to have.

It is important to understand that it is not enough to be a nominal Christian.

It is not enough just for us to fellowship and leave Christ outside.

It is not enough for us to keep on saying that we love the Lord, but our actions are showing something different.

It is high time that we download from God.

It is high time that we download from the Father.

It is high time that we unload from the Father.

It is high time that the church start being connected to the Father.

May we start making maximum impact.

May we start being in tune with the Lord.

May we start having good relationships with Him.

May we get our messages directly from God.

May we start being committed and sold out to God.

May the Bible be the greatest reference and the greatest companion.

May we embark on a never-ending personal spiritual growth.

And I'm saying personal spiritual growth, and I'm saying personal spiritual growth Because some of us, we only open our Bibles on Sunday or during Bible study or during prayer meetings.

May we start having personal devotions.
