Luke, the fourth chapter, verse 16 through 21 is our guide.
-
We're still in our same sermon series.
-
Because God is trying to loose you and equip you for the anointing that's on your life.
-
If you've been walking, if you missed some of the sermons this month, I encourage you to go back because we have been building up so you can understand what it truly means to be anointed.
-
Because now it's your time.
-
Luke 4, verse 16 through 21.
-
Let's read the word of God together.
-
Ready?
-
Set, read.
-
When he came to the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home, he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath and stood up to read the scriptures.
-
The scroll of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him.
-
He unrolled the scroll and found the place where this was written.
-
And that the time of the Lord's favor has come.
-
He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the attendant, and sat down.
-
All eyes in the synagogue looked at him intently.
-
Then he began to speak to them.
-
The scripture you've just heard has been fulfilled this very day.
-
And I would like to continue what we started two weeks ago, as the Holy Ghost would allow.
-
That you are covered for greater.
-
Encourage somebody to say, I've been covered for greater.
-
This is number three.
-
I have been covered for greater.
-
I'm gonna say it one more time.
-
I have been, you have been covered for greater.
-
You may be seated in the presence of our Lord.
-
Family, uh, in this series, my assignment is clear.
-
It is to help you to understand individually and as families, and we as a church that we have been covered for greater.
-
Covered means that you have been anointed.
-
And the reason I use the word cover is because it helps to explain what it means to be anointed.
-
When we see the word anointed in the Bible, it literally means that there has been an overshadowing that I've been smeared.
-
And in this case, you have been overshadowed and you have been smeared with the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
That's what it means that you have been anointed.
-
Why would God uh anoint me?
-
Why would He smear me?
-
Why would He overshadow me?
-
It's because there is a great work ahead for you to do.
-
And what the Lord is saying, that now is the time to be doing it.
-
It is your time and is your time right now.
-
It's the reason that you are still here, is because God has covered you.
-
It's the reason that you are forgiven, it's because God is covering you.
-
It's the reason that you are alive, it's because God is covering you.
-
And so the Lord is giving me a simple assignment to stir you.
-
Because if I do what God would have me to do the way that He would have me to do it, you're going to operate in more power and authority than you ever have in your life.
-
Because you'll realize you won't be doing it because of yourself.
-
You'll be doing it because of his hand being on your life.
-
I wish I had some intercessors right here that would start praying the scripture that we could stir up the gift.
-
Yeah.
-
Do I have any intercessors in the room?
-
Intercessors, start praying right now.
-
I said, God, stir it up, stir it up.
-
We need what's in every last one of us.
-
Stir up the gift that's in me, stir up the gift that's in my neighbor.
-
Are y'all praying?
-
Yeah, stir it up, stir it up.
-
I'm praying that God will stir up the gifts in my mother and my brothers, my sister, my my beautiful wife, my children, my my parents, my godparents, my uh my my mother-in-law, my father-in-law.
-
You ought to be praying.
-
Stir it, God, stir it, stir it, stir it, stir it.
-
We have been covered, stir it up right now in in Jesus' name.
-
Y'all, that's straight out of the Bible where Paul saw something in Timothy.
-
Good God Almighty.
-
Some of you may not be familiar with the language, but um, as a pastor, for those of you that allow, I serve not just as a person with a microphone, but I am a spiritual father.
-
And as a spiritual father, I see things that sometimes my children, some of them older than me, help me, Holy Ghost, cannot see.
-
I know that's weird language, but I'm trying to help somebody.
-
Because when Paul was operating as a spiritual father to Timothy, he said, Paul, he laid his hands on Timothy to say, Not Timothy, uh, I'm laying my hands on you because the Lord has shown me something in you, and I'm laying my hands on you to do what?
-
What did he say?
-
To stir up the gift.
-
Timothy, you are awesome.
-
Timothy, you are giving.
-
And God has given me authority to stir up the gift.
-
Well, for those of you that are allowing me to serve you as a spiritual father, I got good news.
-
I see something in every last one of you.
-
I got good news.
-
I literally see something in last one, every last one of you.
-
It's crazy because even though I'm aware of some of your faults as you are aware of my faults, God said, reach beyond the fault and and and and and minister to the need.
-
He said to stir up the gifts.
-
He said, For those that you serve as a spiritual father, all of a sudden they about to get goosebumps.
-
All of a sudden, they're about to feel a quickening in their spirit because game recognizes game.
-
The spirit that's in me agrees with the spirit that's in you, and the Lord has given me authority today to stir up the gift.
-
Y'all praying, he said, stir it up, stir it up.
-
Yeah, stir it up, stir it up, stir it up.
-
Even if you are a visitor and I've never met you, the Lord says, stir it up in Jesus' name.
-
Even if you serve faithfully somewhere else, or you're not even sure about this thing called faith, God said, I'm going to give you a blessed assurance today.
-
So we are about to stir it up.
-
I wish I had some people in the room that didn't mind helping me to stir the gifts in this place, y'all.
-
We got to stir the gift.
-
Do you know what that means?
-
It means that something has been dormant on the inside of you, and God is saying, I'm trying to make it come alive.
-
He's saying I'm trying to resuscitate it, I'm trying to bring it back to life.
-
I gotta breathe on it.
-
I gotta come, I gotta press on it.
-
Uh, I gotta get the blood back foreign in it.
-
Somebody say, stir it up, stir it up, stir it up, stir it up.
-
It's still there.
-
It just needs to be stirred.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
You are more powerful now than you have ever been.
-
It's just got to be stirred back up.
-
And God is saying, I've come to stir up the gift for a season such as this.
-
The gift has been stirred because you have been anointed for greater.
-
But I need you to understand when you have been anointed for greater, the process is everything.
-
Last few weeks we looked at the process in the Old Testament.
-
Today we look at the process of Jesus.
-
Jesus, we first learn of him as or see him a manifestation of him in the flesh as a baby.
-
And then we see him up till about the age of 12, and then there's a season up until the age of 30 that we don't see him much or hear about him in scriptures anymore.
-
And it's a reminder that when you are anointed, there are seasons where you're gonna have to sit down.
-
Can I say that again?
-
You are anointed, but there are seasons where God will have you steal.
-
There are seasons where people won't call your name, there's seasons where you won't be the first pick.
-
There's seasons where they're gonna it's gonna look as if everybody's overlooking you.
-
Because this is a season and a time and opportunity for God to develop you.
-
Notice that we don't hear from Jesus from 12 to 30.
-
That's about 18 years.
-
And when you know that you have a call on your life, he knew who he was at 12 years old.
-
He said at 12, I must be about my father's business.
-
So, how did he say at 12, I must be about my father's business?
-
And then we don't hear from him until he's 30.
-
Because sometimes being about my father's business is being sitting down and being prepared.
-
And I want to encourage some anointed people in the room and say, God has been preparing you in a quiet place.
-
He's been preparing you on the backside of a mountain.
-
He has been preparing you in a place where people think you done fell off.
-
He's been preparing you in a place where people think that uh you've forgotten about.
-
But I I know you don't see me at the at the reunion, I know you don't see me at the cookout, I know you don't see me where everybody is, and that's just because he's preparing me.
-
And I I want to talk to some people in the room that you know that that you don't go as much as you used to go.
-
You're not saying that you're better, you're not saying that you're worse, but you're in a season of preparation.
-
You're in that cocoon getting ready now.
-
And I want to talk to the people in the cocoon and say, stay where you are until the Lord releases you.
-
You ain't gotta show up for everything and everybody, you ain't got to be everything for everybody in some season of your life.
-
You got to have 18 years of silence.
-
You you gotta have 18 years of preparation.
-
And I use 18 years metaphorically, but what I am saying is that when you are anointed, there is never a time where God is not elevating you without taking you through a silent season.
-
So Jesus goes through this silent season.
-
And about the age of 30, he shows back up on the scene.
-
And when he shows back up on the scene, the Bible says in Luke the third chapter, verse 21, he shows up to be baptized.
-
And then he starts to pray.
-
And I want to tell somebody that those of us that are anointed and operate in the anointing, anointed people are commanded by God to have an unusual prayer life.
-
If you are anointed, your your prayer life just can't be, thank you, God, for this poke chop I'm about to receive.
-
In spite of the bad contents, I pray that it don't give me a heart attack in Jesus.
-
I'm talking to myself.
-
That's how I be praying.
-
I love a poke chop.
-
Amen.
-
But you got to have an unusual prayer life as an anointed person.
-
There is something that some of us may be familiar with.
-
It comes from ancient times, is referred to as the fourth watch.
-
In the King James language and in biblical times, it was that time starting around, I guess, about four o'clock in the morning or so, and going right up until break, daybreak.
-
And many times you'll see that there were miracles in the Bible in the fourth watch.
-
You'll see God moving in people's hearts and minds in the fourth watch.
-
Because you have an unusual prayer life.
-
I'm not saying God is limited to a time or anything silly like that at all.
-
But I am telling you that because your prayer life is unusual, you can't be surprised that sometime when God wakes you up at four o'clock in the morning.
-
You can't be surprised when God does this for you.
-
And sometimes, while I know rest for the body is critical, sometimes you got to be spiritual enough to say, you know, he woke me up.
-
Let me let me get a little pen and a little paper and see what the Lord is saying.
-
And I want to talk to some people in the room and say, you know, I'm just confirming what you've already been going through.
-
Because when you're anointed, you have to have an unusual prayer life.
-
You can't wait till the pastor calls us here on Sunday morning and say, pray.
-
No, you your prayer life has to hit different.
-
I want to talk to some newly anointed people in the room and say, your prayer life is gonna be unusual.
-
When the other people, when the students, other students are not praying, you are praying.
-
When when the other co-workers aren't praying, you are praying because you have an unusual life.
-
And uh, and when you have an unusual prayer life, it opens heaven's doors.
-
How do I know this?
-
Because the text says that as Jesus was praying, heaven opened up, and you have been anointed to open up heaven.
-
How do I know?
-
Because the scripture says that uh those of us that are anointed, whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever we loose on earth shall be loose in heaven.
-
Do you know how powerful you really are?
-
Um, it's the enemy and the enemy alone that wants to keep you from knowing who you really are.
-
We see this in the history of the world.
-
Whenever there has been an oppressor, the primary objective is to make sure the oppressed never know who they are.
-
That was one of those Pixar movies that I was watching, and and these grasshoppers had been attacking these ants.
-
Some of y'all seen it before, and and and and what happened was that that at some point in the movie toward the end, uh, they had given the ants a mandate to give the grasshopper so many, so much food, and when they didn't have the food, they were gonna bust the little ants' poehead to the white meat.
-
Um, the ants did all they could to get all the food for the grasshoppers, and and one of the grasshoppers, even though he was a bully, he had a little mercy.
-
He said to the boss grasshopper, hey boss, haven't the ants, haven't we stepped on their necks long enough?
-
Haven't we oppressed them long enough?
-
Haven't we done enough?
-
Can't we just take what they've given us?
-
We got more than enough and let the ants have the rest.
-
And the boss grasshopper got up big mad.
-
He said, You don't understand what this is about.
-
He said, Look at us.
-
Somebody say, look at us.
-
He said, he he said, he said, there are just a few of us.
-
He said, but the ants, he said, it's thousands of them.
-
And he said they can carry ten times their body weight.
-
He said, if the ants ever discovered how powerful they really were, he said they run the whole forest.
-
So our objective is to keep them thinking that they're weak.
-
Our objective is to keep them thinking like they can't win.
-
Men and women of God, I'm here to tell you that's your enemy.
-
The adversary knows that the Holy Ghost can do through your hands and through your mouth and through your prayers and through your belief.
-
And so his only weapon is to make sure that you don't ever figure it out.
-
His only weapon is to keep you relying on somebody else's power.
-
His only weapon is to keep you from tapping into what God has called you to do.
-
What would happen if 300 people in this room?
-
What would happen if all 300 of us were tapping to our anointing?
-
What would happen if all 300 of us would tap into our authority?
-
What would happen if all 300 of us would tap into our power?
-
I tell you what happened.
-
Every time somebody comes down that aisle, we see people getting saved, we see more people getting delivered, we see people's bodies getting fixed up, we see minds start to be regulated, we see God do some things that we have never seen Him do.
-
Because Jesus said, Greater works shall you do.
-
He said it.
-
You'll do greater works under the power of the anointing.
-
Because Jesus was anointed, He He prayed unusual prayers, it opened up heaven.
-
The spirit came down in bodily form, descended on him like a dove.
-
So when I'm anointed and I pray and I pray for the spirit to move in my life, God responds.
-
Somebody said, God responds.
-
God responds to his anointed people.
-
This is what God said in a voice from heaven said, You are my dearly beloved son, in whom I am.
-
Well, please.
-
I got a Bible study question, though.
-
I said, Since the word teaches us that Jesus is God, because the word says that in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.
-
He was in the beginning with God, all things were made through him, and without him, nothing was made.
-
That sounds pretty anointed to me.
-
I said, He's God, and he is active in his ministry, he's active in his calling, his calling was creation at that moment.
-
So I asked myself this Bible study question.
-
If Jesus is God, then why would he need to be anointed?
-
Because I said, I'm trying to understand anointing.
-
I don't need a we don't need a superficial understanding of anointing, we gotta have a deeper understanding of anointing.
-
And this is what the Holy Ghost revealed to me.
-
Watch this, and I pray that it blesses you the way that it blessed me.
-
Even though Jesus is God, and the Bible teaches the word of God made flesh, he needed to be anointed.
-
Watch this.
-
To cover, watch this elder David.
-
You give me the thumbs up if I do it good enough.
-
He needed to be anointed, not to cover his spirit, but to cover his flesh.
-
I'm gonna say it again and I'm gonna help you to catch it.
-
Because I need 100% catching on this one.
-
He was anointed because God is a spirit, so his spirit was fine.
-
But his plan of salvation, David, was for divinity to wrap itself in dust.
-
For the word of God to come in what?
-
In flesh.
-
And so, in flesh, this is what God understood about flesh.
-
Flesh be fleshing.
-
Yeah.
-
Flesh will have you looking at stuff you ain't got no business looking at.
-
Flesh will have you backhanding folks that you shouldn't have backhanded.
-
Flesh be fleshing, don't it?
-
God tell you to forgive them the day you say, I'll get to that next week.
-
Flesh be fleshing, don't it?
-
Flesh make you mad sometimes.
-
Flesh, flesh be fleshing.
-
Flesh will make you operate in flear.
-
Flesh will make you operate in anger.
-
Flesh will make you walk and turn away from God because flesh be fleshing, don't it?
-
Oh, we even know Jesus knows about the flesh, because I believe it was from his flesh, he cried from the cross, Eli, Eli, Lama Sabatani, which is to say, My God, I came to do what you have called me to do, and you let these evil people put me on a cross.
-
My God, my God, why hast thou be forsaken me?
-
Because the flesh be fleshing, don't it?
-
And there's some of you in the room, y'all love God, but the reality is your flesh has been fleshing.
-
Yeah, yeah.
-
And the reality of it is, is that because your flesh be fleshing, the only way that you can operate in the spirit is that your flesh has to be covered.
-
Y'all walking with me now?
-
I'm careful not to judge people because I understand that the flesh be fleshing.
-
But my prayer for people that are making bad choices and caught up in the lust of their flesh is that there's a fresh anointing.
-
Y'all ought to pray, God, I need a fresh anointing.
-
Yeah, yeah, you ought to pray for a fresh anointing because whenever we have minds that that are contrary to what God has declared for our life, that's the flesh.
-
So we have to have our mind to be anointed.
-
Whenever our lips, ooh, we if we play it out loud, the things that came out of your mouth this week, Lord have mercy.
-
Oh, what you said about your co-worker, ooh we.
-
If we could get in the DMs and put them on the screen right now, because the flesh be fleshing, don't it?
-
So that means we we have to have something that can crucify the flesh.
-
We gotta have something that'll make us deny the flesh, because the flesh be fleshing, don't it?
-
I don't judge anybody that makes a bad choice.
-
I just start to pray that God, I pray for the fresh anointing that they have the power in the Holy Ghost to stop living life according to the flesh and be who God has called them to be.
-
So Jesus shows us this because he's now operating as God and as human, and he's modeling for us for the teachers that are in the room.
-
He's modeling for us that in this life, in your flesh, you can't do it.
-
And that's the reason that some of our businesses have not been successful because we've been operating and trying to do it in the flesh.
-
That's why some of our marriages are struggling because we've been losing using fleshly principles.
-
Wherever there's a struggle that is not turning around, I want to challenge you this week to stop operating in the flesh and start to operate in the spirit.
-
And that's how we do it by simply saying, Lord, I'm available to you.
-
I'm literally surrendering it to you.
-
I'm gonna do it your way, and I'm gonna do it your way right now.
-
I need some people that say early on, I'm ready to surrender.
-
I'm I'm tired of doing it my way, I'm ready to surrender.
-
I got proclivities, I got strong holes, I'm ready to surrender.
-
Y'all can I preach it like I feel it today?
-
They already get fussed at me at 8 o'clock for saying something I shouldn't have said, but um, we grown folks, most of the adult children upstairs, I just say hormones because I was gonna say horny.
-
Um, but some of y'all in your flesh, you know, y'all wow.
-
And it is what it is.
-
Your spouse will appreciate that when the Lord, you know, do what he's gonna do in that realm.
-
But until then, you need the anointing.
-
Grandma said it, why can't I say it?
-
You need to sit your hot self down somewhere.
-
I'm just trying to help somebody.
-
Because what happens is that when those of us who are anointed make ungodly connections, all we're doing is carrying everybody's ungodliness with us.
-
Ain't no such thing as a one-night stand.
-
You carry that stuff with you for the rest of your days.
-
Yeah, I'm just trying to help somebody.
-
Can I help you?
-
Because you help me.
-
I'ma tell you like this: I ain't never telling you nothing that I ain't never experienced or seen myself.
-
So I'm not judging you, I'm just trying to help you, to help you to understand that you are so anointed and you are so powerful, and the enemy keeps sending stuff to make you compromise.
-
But God is saying, I'm covering you.
-
And what's the beauty of the anointing is watch this.
-
If I confess my sins, he's faithful and just to forgive my sins.
-
Anyway y'all know what grandma taught you ain't nothing but a couple of things open after 12 o'clock.
-
Waffle House and you know the other one.
-
But what God said was when I called you, I knew you were gonna have some nights where you won't be where you were supposed to be.
-
He said, I worked that into the game plan.
-
He said, When I called you to do what you were gonna do, I knew you were gonna make some terrible, dumb decisions, but I had already factored that in.
-
Ain't that good that God already factored some stuff in?
-
So now he said, Listen, what I'm asking you to do is confess your sins.
-
He said, if you confess your sins to him, he's faithful and just to forgive him and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
-
Lord have mercy.
-
I'm so glad that God, uh our God has not come to condemn us, but he wants to correct us and he wants to make us over again.
-
Jesus here, his flesh needs to be covered, like your flesh needs to be covered.
-
And then this process of being anointed is presented before us.
-
And the thing about being anointed that is most troubling, that I think that none of us really like.
-
The thing about being anointed that bothers me the most, y'all.
-
I've said it before, I'll say it again, is that when you are anointed, you absolutely have to go through the wilderness.
-
Man, Jesus here in Luke the third chapter is anointed, but in Luke the fourth chapter, verse one, the Bible says that the spirit of the Lord led him into the wilderness.
-
I want you to notice that the spirit did it, it wasn't 45 slash 47, the spirit led him into the wilderness.
-
It wasn't the interest rates, and it wasn't the economy, it wasn't the Dow Jones, it wasn't it wasn't Malik, it wasn't Malik and Mal Sean.
-
The spirit led him into the wilderness.
-
What are you gonna do when it's the spirit of the living God that says you gotta go into the wilderness?
-
I want to encourage you right now and let you know, um, uh as anointed as you are, that this is part of God's plan for you.
-
It is part of God's plan to produce the best in you.
-
So Jesus is going through a process publicly, and I want to say this some of your processes have been public, but show of God's provision for your life.
-
If they're gonna see you down in public, make no mistake about it, God gonna allow them to see you up in public just the same.
-
He he he he he he takes them, he takes Jesus into the wilderness and he goes into a season of fasting where he would be fasting from food for 40 days.
-
And there are three tests that I see here in the wilderness that I need you to be aware of because either you have experienced these tests and you didn't understand it, or I need to prepare you for a test that's on the way.
-
And remember, God is up to something.
-
Yeah, say God is up to something.
-
Yeah, he really is.
-
And when you look at it, the first thing that you see happens to Jesus is the Spirit leads him into the wilderness.
-
And the Bible says that he's tested.
-
And the first thing that I see that the enemy is testing is Jesus' perseverance.
-
I see it this way.
-
You can read and see what else you see.
-
There are a lot of things to see, but I see God testing Jesus' perseverance.
-
This is what I mean.
-
I see the devil testing Jesus' perseverance.
-
This is what the devil said.
-
Jesus is in there, he's fasting, he's hungry in the natural, right?
-
He has not had any food.
-
He's struggling here.
-
And the devil said to him, If you are the son of God, tell this stone to become bread.
-
If you are the son of God, tell this stone to become bread.
-
I see this as a test of Jesus' perseverance because he's starving literally in the natural.
-
And I see the enemy saying to him that um if you are who you claim to be, do what you came here to do.
-
It's a test because Jesus understands it's not the time.
-
But it's also a test because we all need bread to survive.
-
And I'm not talking about no white lily, I'm not talking about no sourdough.
-
I'm talking about what happens when God where the double test is your perseverance and causes you to lose your job.
-
See, if you're from my age group, when we say bread, we wasn't talking about no sandwich meat.
-
No, I'm talking about we and my brother, man of God, right here, we from the same age group, right?
-
So we're talking about bread, we're talking about that green bread.
-
Amen, somebody.
-
So there's always application in scripture.
-
So at the end of the day, whether you're hungry and you want to talk about wheat bread or God or something has happened and your finances have been impacted.
-
You find yourself in the wilderness when your bread has run out.
-
And what happens is when you're tested and your bread has run out, the enemy shows up to say, I thought God loved you.
-
How your God let you go through an eviction?
-
I thought He loved you.
-
I thought your God loved you.
-
How your God let them folks fire you from your job?
-
Anybody ever had one of them wilderness conversations where you heard somebody whispering in your ear?
-
I thought that church was gonna take care of you.
-
Now you're struggling and they ain't doing nothing for you.
-
Because the enemy, the enemy likes to whisper in our ear when we are in the wilderness.
-
And I want to talk to somebody and let you know that you are in the right spot, but your perseverance in God is being tested, and it's being tested because what the Lord is saying is what I'm about to do next in your life, and the load that I'm about to allow you to carry, and I'm going to help you to carry is going to require you to be able to persevere.
-
Ah, what do you do?
-
When not only does he the enemy come and test your perseverance, he then comes and tests your purpose.
-
The devil said, Alright, fine.
-
He takes Jesus to a high place.
-
He showed him in an instant.
-
Somebody said, In an instant.
-
I don't, I need y'all to catch this.
-
He showed him in an instance all the kingdoms of the world.
-
And he said to him, I will give you all their authority and splendor.
-
It has been given to me.
-
I can give it to anyone I want to.
-
If you worship me, it will all be yours.
-
I want to show you that this is a test of Jesus' purpose.
-
Jesus came to save and set free all the whole world.
-
He has the whole world in his hand.
-
For God so loved the world that he gave his only son.
-
Jesus' entire purpose was to establish the kingdom of God in the earth and to bring salvation to the lost, the least, and the left out.
-
His his entire purpose.
-
And then the devil shows up.
-
You got a purpose, man and woman of God.
-
And when you got purpose, the devil will show up.
-
Watch this.
-
Watch this attack on purpose.
-
The devil showed up.
-
And if we got this on the screen, verse 5, it says this the devil led him up to a high place and showed him, watch this.
-
In an instant.
-
Do y'all see that?
-
The Lord is saying, and wanted me to say this to you real plain.
-
There are some of you, the devil, the enemy right now is trying to get you to take a shortcut.
-
You don't want to persevere.
-
You want to take a shortcut to get to the place that God will have you to be.
-
And the Lord said, I needed to remind some of you all that if you fall for the trap and trick of the enemy to get there in an instant, you'll never get there at all.
-
Jesus had to go through a process.
-
His process was to show the world who he was, not to worship the enemy to gain the world's respect.
-
Jesus had to go through a process that will require him to walk with people who otherwise would not have known that God loved them, not worship the enemy in the midst of it all.
-
What's crazy is that the enemy has a way of tricking us, Coach Brown.
-
He mixes the truth with a lie.
-
The Bible is clear.
-
Jesus said that the devil is the prince of this world.
-
That's the Bible, innit?
-
The Bible says that Satan is the prince of this world.
-
That's why this world is crazy as hell.
-
I can say it like that.
-
Because he's the prince of this world.
-
That's the scripture.
-
So that's why when the devil said to Jesus, I can give it to you, he wasn't lying.
-
Because he was the prince of this world.
-
But I'm so glad that Jesus knew that I can't take a shortcut.
-
And I need to talk to somebody's spirit in here real quick.
-
There's a business on in the room.
-
The money has gotten tight.
-
I feel this in the Holy Ghost.
-
Man, don't take a shortcut.
-
Every loan ain't a good loan.
-
Every interest rate ain't a good rate.
-
Don't take that 35, 40%, 50% interest rate because you're in a grind right now.
-
I ain't even the financial guy.
-
The Holy Ghost told me to tell you that one.
-
Don't take a shortcut.
-
There's somebody in the room, you're feeling alone.
-
Here comes Schlick Willie.
-
It he showed up now.
-
Now your principles are on the line.
-
Don't take a shortcut.
-
Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't take a shortcut.
-
Don't take a shortcut.
-
I'm talking to somebody in the room.
-
God is trying to take you somewhere.
-
There's a temptation to take a shortcut.
-
There's a temptation to take a shortcut.
-
And the Lord has said to remind his people, don't take a shortcut, you'll never get there.
-
If you take a shortcut, you'll be lost in the wilderness forever.
-
If you take a shortcut, you'll never get to the promised land.
-
Somebody said, We got to go the rough way.
-
That was an old song that used to say, uh, Lord, don't take away my stumbling blocks, but give me the strength to climb.
-
Lord, don't move my mountains, but lead me all around.
-
I I knew I had some old school folk in here.
-
There is an anointing on your life that is going to allow you to go the long way.
-
There's an anointing on your life that's going to allow you to come up on the rough side of the mountain.
-
I feel the Holy Ghost.
-
I just got free of something, Elder Jamal.
-
That sometimes our process is going to require us to come up on the rough side of the mountain.
-
Because on the rough side of the mountain, we learn so much about God and we learn so much about ourselves.
-
We learn so much about process.
-
We can be a blessing to other people on the rough side of the mountain.
-
There's a concern right now in raising our children is that we are so uh uh hover parents over them that the same things that we experienced that made us thugs in the spirit, the same things that made us hold down, hold on, we are shielding them from it and wondering why we raising a bunch of soft batch cookies.
-
Wondering why they still at your house at 75 years old.
-
Because we ain't raising them right.
-
We ain't raising them up on the rough side of the mountain no more.
-
Just yesterday, me and Tif was in the kitchen cleaning up, and the boys was outside, a little swing in the back.
-
All of a sudden, I saw Jacob flying through the air off the swing.
-
And he did it on purpose.
-
My heart started beating real fast, and I put my hand on the door and I said, Tip, I just want to go and just snatch him up.
-
And I said, All he's doing is being a boy, but I ain't trying to go to the ER today.
-
I really ain't.
-
I really gotta go to church this morning.
-
And Tiffy was saying, she said, Yeah, because she said, I used to do the same thing.
-
Some of y'all did it.
-
Y'all remember when you'd be in the swing and get high as you could and then go for it.
-
Man, my heart started beating.
-
I said, Maybe my mama didn't watch when I used to do this crazy stuff.
-
My heart started beating.
-
But I realized, I said, you know, if I don't let them get some bumps and some bruises every now and then, they won't be able to handle it when life hit them hard.
-
And some of you all are in the wilderness so that God can give you some stamina in the spirit, some strength in the spirit.
-
So no matter what happens in the economy, no, no matter what happens in the White House, no matter what happens in the world, no matter what happens in the Middle East, we got some state power.
-
In the wilderness.
-
He tests our perseverance, he tests our purpose.
-
Somebody said, Don't take any shortcuts, and then he tests our relationship with God.
-
It's interesting, his response to when his perseverance was tested, was that it is written that man should not live by bread alone.
-
Which is a reminder for somebody whose bread has been under attack, that God is still Jehovah Jirah.
-
God is going to provide.
-
I speak this as a man of God.
-
You will lack nothing.
-
You will be, you will, you may go.
-
I'm gonna say it just like I see it.
-
This is what I see in the spirit.
-
This is what I see in the spirit.
-
Some of you have your bread have been attacked, finances have been attacked, your health has been attacked, your bread, whatever it is, the substance has been attacked.
-
And there's a moment where there's a dip.
-
But that dip was not to harm you.
-
The dip was part of the process, but if you persevere through the dip, not only shall you recover all, the Lord is saying that you're going to be further than you were before.
-
I speak this as a man of God, I speak this as a manifestation of the promise of Jesus.
-
I went through the dip, I lived through the dip.
-
But when the Lord took me through the process, I recovered it all.
-
And I'm trying to prophesy to somebody in here and say, Don't be afraid of the dip.
-
Because real talk.
-
Elder Jamal told me the other day, said Pastor Walt, you and and I think I saw the man of God, Pierre Elder Jamal say, Hey, Pastor Walt, you uh you you still in that in that gym?
-
I know you travel a lot.
-
I said, I gotta get back in there.
-
Pray for me.
-
He must have prayed because then Pierre called me and said, Hey, what time are we going to the gym?
-
I said, Hey, they said I'm fat.
-
I'm going back.
-
But I was reminded of this, y'all.
-
In the dip, he still provided bread when I was hungry.
-
Yeah, y'all, y'all walking with me.
-
In the dip, I didn't miss a meal.
-
In the dip, I got my house and I got my little car.
-
I'm trying to help somebody to prophesy that God is with you in the wilderness, and he's with you in the dip, and he's gonna be with you, and he's gonna provide for you until you come out of the dip on your way out of the wilderness.
-
And I want to thank God for being Jehovah Jirah.
-
I want to thank God for being my provider.
-
I want to thank God that I hadn't missed a meal.
-
I want to thank God that his word is true.
-
David declared, I was once a young man.
-
Now I am old, but I have never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
-
Do I got some witnesses in here?
-
That say, I may be in a dip, I may be in the wilderness, but I am an heir of the king.
-
I my my daddy is God, and he will provide.
-
You ought to encourage yourself right now and say, Thank you, God, because you will provide.
-
Encourage your neighbor now and say, God is about to do it for you, and it's about to happen quickly.
-
You ought to encourage somebody right there.
-
Say things are about to shift quickly.
-
I'm coming out of this because I believe God at His word.
-
And this wilderness is just part of the process.
-
The wilderness is real for me.
-
This ain't just church talk.
-
My mama said at eight o'clock service, I I sometimes like to after the eight, the best way to engage I can with the digital people is to go back and see if they're in the prayer requests.
-
The media team and all those people handle that, but I'll just be nosy.
-
And I um I got on there this morning and saw that even my mother had posted.
-
She said that I'm in the wilderness.
-
And she posted that because me and my mom, we minister the same way.
-
Which is sometimes, well, my mama gotta do better because she don't tell me enough of her stuff.
-
Listen, you better have somebody you trust in your life to tell everything to.
-
I'm gonna go down there with my with a police badge and snatch up all her medical records or something.
-
You know how mama's is y'all, I'm baby, I'm fine.
-
No, tell me something.
-
But I say that because she said it.
-
Because I need y'all to understand when we talk about the wilderness, it hits my family too.
-
The wilderness is no joke.
-
And honestly, I've been praying, and y'all know I've been praying for a long time that I'm looking for God to bring my mother out of her wilderness, just like I'm looking for God to bring you out of yours.
-
It's crazy because there are days when I look at my sweet mother's wilderness, it looks like there's a clearing ahead.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
Do y'all know what a clearing is?
-
Y'all ever been in the woods?
-
I know y'all city five.
-
But if you're in the woods, you'll see this patch that it looks like you're out of the woods.
-
It's called a clearing.
-
There are no trees there, the grass is low.
-
It look like you're out of the wilderness, only to discover that there's more doggone wilderness on the other side.
-
Y'all, we have been praying, and I've seen my mom, and it looked like I see a clearing, only to discover that there's more wilderness on the other side.
-
My mom's a blessing somebody right now in the spirit.
-
That's you, because you was trying to figure it out.
-
You say, God, I thought you had fixed this.
-
I thought that drama was past, and only to discover it was a clearing and that there's more wilderness on the other side.
-
If you actually study the Bible and study the children of Israel, you'll discover that they didn't go through one wilderness, that they went through multiple wilderness situations.
-
The 40-year experience was not a same sitting in one patch of woods.
-
They went from wilderness after wilderness after wilderness after wilderness after wilderness after wilderness after wilderness after wilderness after wilderness after wilderness after wilderness.
-
And the enemy was trying to get them to stop each in every wilderness.
-
But but but but they learned something about God in every wilderness situation.
-
They learned that God would guide them as a fire by night when they couldn't see, and they learned that God would guide them as a cloud by day.
-
They learned that when there was no food, uh, that God would send manna from heaven.
-
They learned when they couldn't get to the store to buy clothes, that God had anointed their clothes not to tear up.
-
They learned that they could speak to the serpents and that the serpents would not kill them when God's hand was on their life.
-
I need some people to understand.
-
I hate the fact that you've gone from wilderness to wilderness to wilderness to wilderness.
-
I hate the fact that my mother has gone from wilderness to wilderness to wilderness to wilderness.
-
If it was up to me, I would rescue her from it right now.
-
But the Lord is saying, You don't know what I got for your mother, because the awe that you got, it had to come from somewhere.
-
And yes, you got some of the awe from your daddy, but your mama got a lot of all too.
-
Don't you know the reason that you are gracious for people is because you get it from your mama?
-
Don't you know how you can forgive everybody is because you get it from your mama, and if I'm gonna put all in her, maybe I'm just trying to get some more out of her.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
I don't need to preach to my mama, because I can call her on the phone, but I need to preach to you.
-
Don't you realize that God is trying to squeeze the best out of you now?
-
Don't you realize that God is trying to show you more of him?
-
And because of that, the wilderness is necessary so that you will know how to pray, so that you will know uh how to prophesy, so that you will know how to hear his voice, so you will know how to climb mountains, so you will know uh he's a God of the hill and the valleys.
-
And I thank God now for the wilderness.
-
I don't understand it, y'all, uh, but I thank God for it.
-
But it has to be glory on the other side of this.
-
I wish I had somebody else that has faith enough to know uh there got to be glory on the other side of this.
-
This cannot be how it is.
-
There's some glory on the other side of this.
-
There's some glory on the other side of her pain.
-
There's some glory on the other side of your pain.
-
There's some glory on the other side of this.
-
Jesus as his relationship with God is now being tested.
-
The devil takes him to a highest point and says to him, fine.
-
You ain't gave up yet.
-
I want to talk to somebody right now that hadn't given up yet.
-
The enemy is about to throw his best shot at you now.
-
He's wanting to attack your relationship with God.
-
He's seeing that you have the perseverance, he's seen that you're not gonna take a shortcut.
-
So now he's about to attack your relationship with God.
-
That's what he does, isn't he?
-
He says this to him if you are, see he's attacking identity because he wants to attack your identity to impact your relationship with God.
-
If you are the Son of God, he said, throw yourself down from here.
-
For it is written, the enemy likes to use scripture too, you know.
-
He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully, they will lift you up in their hands so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
-
And Jesus answered, It is said, Do not put the Lord your God to the test.
-
Now, um, it was interesting to me how I was taught, and I believe this is a true statement, but I have a deeper understanding now.
-
Back in the day, y'all were taught the same thing.
-
They say, Don't test the Lord your God, he'll keep it, but don't test him.
-
In other words, don't go out there on ID5 and play chicken with the 18 wheels.
-
That's putting the Lord to the test.
-
I think we can agree that's some good teaching.
-
But as I look at this scripture more carefully, I see something more.
-
Let me see if you can help if I can help you to see what I see.
-
When Jesus' relationship was tested for the Lord by the enemy for that last time, y'all ever got to a spot where you just got you about tired, you know what I'm saying?
-
You got by one more time.
-
Y'all ever got that, got that with somebody said, You got by one more time.
-
You you you got one.
-
Y'all ever been there?
-
I know y'all.
-
You you you got one more time.
-
I believe Jesus got to that point here in the script.
-
You got one more time.
-
So Jesus answered this time.
-
He didn't even quote the scripture.
-
Notice the first time.
-
He quoted the scripture.
-
He said, It is written, worship the Lord your God only and serve only him.
-
He said it is written, man.
-
For real, for real.
-
You know, you're lord, you're gonna go the enemy was doing the trouble about Jesus was doing In other words, he doesn't say Jesus was the enemy of prophetic one and this all life He said, I'm telling you now Don't try God with this one You talk to me when I'm hungry You talk to me when I'm in this wilderness struggling.
-
Don't test God on this one.
-
He had gotten to the point where he was so mad and so tired and so frustrated with being in the wilderness that he stopped playing with the devil.
-
He said, You done gone too far.
-
Look at it carefully because I'm gonna show you what happened the very next one.
-
He said, I can't believe you just asked me to kill myself to prove to you that I am who I claim to be.
-
You done gone too far.
-
What's the lesson that I'm trying to get you to see?
-
When you are anointed and you are in the wilderness, it is the word of God that's gonna keep you when you can't keep yourself.
-
But watch this.
-
There are some times when you're in the wilderness and you gotta stop playing games with the devil.
-
And sometimes I'm not gonna just lose churchy talk with the enemy.
-
Because we ain't got we ain't no soft batch cookie saints.
-
We saints that got a little bit of yesterday still in us, amen.
-
Somebody, and I'm trying to figure out why we raising a group of saints that are soft batch, because the God that we serve ain't nothing soft about him.
-
I want you to notice what Jesus said the last time.
-
You done gone too far.
-
Test me if you want to.
-
He said this, and now what happens at verse 13 is that even the devil understood that there was a shift in Jesus' language.
-
He was playing with Jesus for a little while until Jesus got big man and said, Hey, you didn't you didn't went too far.
-
Look at what happened next.
-
The Bible said the devil got finished, he left him and said, I'll be back a little bit later.
-
Y'all ever dealt with a bully before?
-
They'll run around bullying everybody until you got mad for real and pull your earrings off, until you got mad and say, I'm gonna meet you outside.
-
All of a sudden they language shift.
-
I was gonna fight you today, but I got somewhere to go.
-
We'll catch up tomorrow.
-
Because the enemy was all he was doing was trying trying to uh deceive you in the first place.
-
So, what is the lesson?
-
The lesson is that we as men and women of God that are anointed gotta learn to operate like Jesus did and tell the devil that enough is enough.
-
You gotta have a type of language.
-
Can I be real with you, Elder Jamal?
-
Forgive me.
-
I gotta help the saints.
-
I'm trying to help the saints, Elder Sherry.
-
I'm trying to help the saints.
-
The problem is that spiritual warfare is real, and y'all been playing around with the adversary.
-
At some point, you gotta use the anointing on your life.
-
Jesus told the devil that you are.
-
See, y'all making me do it because the King James ain't connected with you.
-
He said, it said, he said, don't put the Lord to the test.
-
Y'all say something different today.
-
Y'all say the same thing, y'all say it different.
-
Today, when somebody gets on your last nerve, we don't do viral moments, so Joe, don't don't you start.
-
I don't doing it.
-
I'm trying to help my people.
-
There's an acronym.
-
Y'all know what I'm talking about.
-
Four-letter acronym.
-
He said, do the M.
-
I won't do the I won't do the acronym that y'all use.
-
He said the M is safe for the holy, for the holiness.
-
We gotta keep the place over.
-
Mess around and find out.
-
Yeah.
-
Look at what Jesus did.
-
He was doing the churchy thing for a little while, but by that last time when the devil told him to take his own life, I tell you what, mess around and find out.
-
Can we say it like that?
-
Y'all won't cancel me?
-
What am I trying to do?
-
I'm trying to get you to talk to the demonic influence in your life.
-
I'm trying to get you to talk to the cancer in your life.
-
I'm trying to get you to talk to the depression in your life.
-
And say last year you had me, but try me this year.
-
Mess around and find out.
-
I need some safe.
-
I'm tired of being stuck.
-
Mess with me this year and mess around and find out.
-
Because you are anointed, you are empowered to silence the mouth of the enemy.
-
You are anointed, you are empowered to break every yoke and break every chain.
-
You are anointed and you are powered to speak to depression and say you can't live here anymore.
-
You are anointed and you are powered to speak to your anxiety and cast it out in the name of Jesus.
-
Oh, I need some saints in the house that's willing to open your mouth and cancel some stuff.
-
Y'all with me?
-
I bet you won't open your mouth and cancel some stuff.
-
You anointed, open your mouth.
-
I cancel it in Jesus' name.
-
Whatever's going on in my family's health.
-
I cancel it in Jesus' name.
-
I cancel it in Jesus' name.
-
I wish I had some people right there.
-
We don't know when to get excited.
-
We don't know when to shout.
-
You surrounded by enough people in this room to cancel all the attacks of the enemy.
-
That's why you ought to be excited.
-
Because last night you were praying by yourself.
-
But now it's 300 people around you that believe what you believe and are praying what you're praying.
-
We ought to be able to cancel some stuff right now in Jesus' name.
-
Oh, open your mouth and say it's canceled.
-
We coming against it in we're coming against the fiery dark to the enemy.
-
It's canceled.
-
It's canceled right now.
-
Under the anointing.
-
Under the anointing, it's canceled.
-
We canceled it right now in Jesus' name.
-
In Jesus' name.
-
He somebody say it's canceled.
-
It's canceled.
-
We know the anointing operates this way.
-
And that's the reason why you had to go in the wilderness.
-
Because it's in the wilderness that you realize you could cancel some stuff.
-
Yeah.
-
You had to cancel the plan that you had to take your own life.
-
I speak it as a man of God.
-
Y'all don't realize how many people think about that on a daily basis.
-
But it was the anointing that made you cancel that plan to take your own life.
-
Glory to God.
-
It's the anointing that's gonna break the yoke that's been on your neck for a long time.
-
But you only learn about this anointing in the wilderness.
-
Because there's something that happens in your life, there's a shift that happens in the wilderness.
-
I want you to look carefully at Luke 4, verse 1.
-
We talked about this in Bible study once, and it was a powerful Bible study.
-
Luke 4, verse 1.
-
It says that Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness.
-
And we just talked about what happened to him in the wilderness.
-
But I want y'all to see what happens when you come out of the wilderness.
-
Somebody say, I'm coming out of this.
-
Yeah, look at verse 14.
-
Look at verse 14.
-
Uh verse 14 declares that after Jesus left the wilderness, he left there.
-
Look at verse 14.
-
He returned to Galilee.
-
Not uh it's a difference here.
-
He he returned to Galilee not just with the Holy Spirit, he returned to Galilee with the Holy Spirit's power.
-
I want you to understand something that the word dunamis means power.
-
What you see in verse one is that he just had the Holy Ghost.
-
He had the presence, but he didn't have power.
-
Ah, let me see it again.
-
He had the Holy Ghost, he had his presence, but he didn't have power.
-
The problem with church is that you get in his presence, but you never operate in his power.
-
And and God is saying in this season, Luke 4 verse 1 ain't good enough anymore.
-
So that ain't good enough.
-
It ain't good enough for you to just get in his presence anymore.
-
I somebody got to preach the truth in 2025.
-
It ain't good enough for you just to come to church, it ain't good enough for you to just to sing songs of dying.
-
I can cancel stuff because I operate in the Spirit's power.
-
When Jesus came back, it was the wilderness that gave him more power.
-
And I got good news, I believe by faith that when my mother comes out of her wilderness, she's gonna have more power.
-
Because there ain't no way that the Lord hadn't brought her this far just to leave her.
-
And I got even better news for you.
-
When you come out of it this time, you're not gonna only have his presence, you're gonna be operating in his power.
-
Elder Colleen, I declare that you'll have new power on the other side of this.
-
It is so in Jesus' name.
-
You'll be a strong, mighty woman of God.
-
Your books will go where they need to go to touch who they need to touch.
-
It is so in Jesus' name.
-
I wish I had some people that don't mind hijacking the prophecy.
-
Say it was for me too.
-
That's for me.
-
That's that's for me.
-
I I learned to hijack it because the word of God is like a it's like buckshot.
-
When it when it's released, it's a nuptial in their pellets for everybody.
-
And I declare that everybody that's obedient to the word of God in this season, on the other side of the wilderness, you'll have more power.
-
Men and women of God, he he has more power.
-
And and because he has more power, he starts to operate in his anointing like never before.
-
Whereas before the wilderness, he was gunshot a little bit, he hung in the back a little bit.
-
But after the wilderness, somebody says out to the wilderness.
-
After the wilderness, he he goes back home and he goes to the synagogue.
-
He goes to the church.
-
Side point anointed people go to church.
-
Amen.
-
Somebody.
-
He goes to church.
-
And the scroll of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him.
-
I find this interesting because at a time where a scroll was extremely valuable, there were no printing presses, there were no copy machines.
-
Every scroll had to be written by hand.
-
And it was saved for the for the for the rabbis, for the Jewish leaders, and for the people that had clout and the people that had uh a collar on their neck and the people that had a title.
-
Here come this barefoot carpenter from Nazareth that scrolls in.
-
And the prophet.
-
And I think that's interesting, Elder Jamal, that the prophet handed him the scroll.
-
I think I can't prove it in court, but I think had it just been an ordinary person, they would not have handed Jesus that scroll because Jesus didn't have any title or he wasn't one of fame.
-
But there's something about the prophetic in the Bible that allows a woman or a man of God to see what other people cannot see.
-
And even though he didn't say as much to Jesus, he handed Jesus what was valuable because he could see what was in him.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
I see something happening for you happening for you, oh anointed one.
-
I see somebody about to hand you something that's valuable.
-
Not because of your name, not because of your position, not because of your resume or title.
-
They're about to hand you something valuable because they can see the oil that's on your life.
-
Yeah.
-
I hope you can catch that.
-
Run it back if you didn't.
-
They're about to hand you something valuable.
-
I'm going with God.
-
I see it in His Spirit.
-
It's going to be handed for you and you don't deserve it.
-
It's going to be handed for you and you don't know enough people.
-
And everybody's going to be like, Why did they get that to her?
-
Why did they get that to him?
-
Who does he think he is?
-
Who does she think she is?
-
They're going to hand you something valuable.
-
Not because of who you are, but because you are covered.
-
Lord have mercy.
-
I wish I had to cover it.
-
People in the room that could receive that just by opening your hands.
-
That's why we say something like Lord, I'm available.
-
Somebody said that's why we open up our hands and we say, We say, Lord, I'm available.
-
Lord, I'm available for you to put the scroll in my hand.
-
Yeah.
-
This putting the scroll in his hand was Jesus stepping into the call that was on his life.
-
May I prophesy that what they're about to put in your hands, the value is bigger than money.
-
It's about to launch you into the next assignment that God has on your life.
-
And they're about to do it.
-
Somebody said, It's about to happen for me.
-
Y'all, I can't wait to show you what God has shown me.
-
They hand it to him.
-
And watch this.
-
Jesus unrolls the scroll.
-
And he starts to search the scroll.
-
And the text said he found the place where this was written.
-
Now, before I tell you what he wrote, read, I need you to tell you something that anointed people need to do.
-
Not only must your prayer life be different, unusual, your study of the word, woman of God, man of God, has to be different.
-
Brandy, there's a word.
-
There's a scripture.
-
Q there's a word, there's a scripture for right where your family is.
-
Notice what Jesus did.
-
He did not just pop the book open and read whatever came to mind.
-
No, because anointed people are intentional.
-
He knew that there was a word for that moment that he was in.
-
Can I ask all the anointed people in the room?
-
What's the word for the current spot that you're in?
-
What's the chapter and verse for your current life circumstance and situation?
-
There's a word.
-
Somebody said there was a word.
-
You gotta scroll the scriptures until you find the word for right where you are.
-
I'm gonna say it again.
-
Scrolling the scriptures don't mean wait till Pastor Walk get here on Sunday or wait till Wednesday morning inspiration.
-
On Tuesday when ain't nobody else looking.
-
You gotta say, there's a word for right where I am.
-
Somebody give me a Bible.
-
Give me that Bible.
-
You gotta wake up on Thursday when ain't nothing happening and say, There's a word.
-
And I'm gonna scroll this thing until I find the word for my situation.
-
Because I'm anointing and I know God is doing something.
-
Surely there's a word for what I'm going through.
-
That's a good word I'm reading right there, but I'm gonna keep on scrolling because I think God might be saying something else.
-
That's how I study.
-
All of the word is for edification.
-
But sometimes I'll get a word and I say, I could preach that, but I think God is saying something else.
-
Uh and I keep scrolling, y'all.
-
And I keep scrolling until my Holy Ghost gets happy.
-
And when I get happy, I say, that's the word for right where we are.
-
That's the word for right where we are.
-
That's the word that's about to shift it.
-
That's the word that's about to change it.
-
And I'm trying to get the people of God to scroll the word until you get to the word that's for your situation.
-
He he he scrolls and he stops.
-
When he gets to the word, that's for his situation.
-
He says, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.
-
For he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.
-
He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the Lord's favor has come.
-
The Bible says he then rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the attendant, and sat down.
-
Oh I in the synagogue.
-
Looked at him intently.
-
They was looking at Jesus.
-
And Jesus was looking at them.
-
Jesus was looking at them, and they was looking at Jesus.
-
After a moment of standoff, because this is unusual now, because when you're anointed, you will be on platforms that you ain't supposed to be on.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
I'm trying to open the door for somebody that can believe it.
-
Your belief in this word is about to change it for you.
-
They say, Man, who is this guy from Nazareth?
-
What good thing could come out of Nazareth?
-
Not only did he come in here out of nowhere and start reading the word, he bold enough to read it as if he had some authority.
-
And when they were trying to figure it out after the stare-off, he began to speak.
-
Every anointed person in the room, I need to prepare you.
-
This is a season for you to speak.
-
This is what Jesus said.
-
The scripture you just heard has been fulfilled this very day.
-
I asked Brother Mario on the ride to church this morning.
-
I said, Brother Mario, I said, I love this conversation about being anointed.
-
But I'm curious as it relates to why would Jesus have to announce that he's anointed.
-
Because sometimes I was taught, and I think it's accurate, that may the works that I've done speak for me.
-
So if he is God and if he is the Messiah, why did he have to announce it?
-
And I said, I think that's important for people to understand.
-
If I'm going to proclaim that our model is Jesus and Jesus announced it, why did he have to announce it?
-
Because shouldn't his work of healing be enough?
-
Mario said, if he didn't tell the people, the people wouldn't know.
-
Now for you, that may not mean like a whole bunch.
-
I told him to say less, my boy, I caught it.
-
I got that's I can run with that.
-
I need you to understand something.
-
I'm gonna say it again, and then I'm gonna help you to understand.
-
Mario said it like this if he didn't tell the people who he was, the people would never know.
-
You know why that just blessed me so good?
-
Because of the call and the anointing that's on your life right now.
-
You've been hiding under a bush long enough.
-
False humility has to come to an end.
-
Here's the reality of why Jesus had to tell the people they wouldn't know.
-
The Bible tells us about a prophet named Anna and another individual in the temple.
-
John the Baptist, Elizabeth, John, and Mary.
-
Maybe ten people that knew who Jesus was in the whole earth, that saw him in the spirit and know who he was.
-
Ten might be a stretch.
-
And the reason that they couldn't perceive Jesus, even though the Bible said that they had been praying and waiting on the Savior to come, is because that they were looking for Jesus or the Messiah, I should say.
-
They were looking for the Messiah to come in a different way.
-
They thought that Jesus was going, that God was going to send a war hero.
-
Because the last time that they were in bondage, he sent people like David to rescue them.
-
So they were waiting for one greater than David to show up, maybe with a tank and an Uzi and a machine gun and go to war against the Romans because they were under Roman authority.
-
So when somebody shows up that's humble, born in an animal trough, humble riding on the back of a donkey, they said, Ain't no way this could be the Messiah that we've been praying about.
-
They literally said, He is from the ghetto called Nazareth.
-
That's what they said, y'all.
-
And they said, What good thing could come from the ghetto?
-
They said it.
-
And because Jesus understood that the people couldn't perceive him in the essence of who he really was, he first had to tell them, and then he had to show them.
-
I want to talk to some anointing people in this room.
-
Can I get you out your feelings real quick?
-
You need to get over the fact that they don't support your business.
-
They don't know you.
-
You need to get over the fact that they ain't read your book.
-
They don't know you.
-
You need to get over the fact that they don't support you.
-
Especially your family who don't support you.
-
Because if you read the rest of this chapter, the reason Jesus did few miracles in his hometown is because of this issue called familiarity.
-
Familiarity is when you get so familiar with a person you can't see the shift that's in their life.
-
Jesus said that they were operating in a familiar spirit.
-
So they couldn't do a whole lot of miracles in his hometown.
-
I'm trying to help you to understand this.
-
There's an anointing on your life.
-
God has said it's time for you to announce it.
-
He says you're not being humble.
-
You are being humble when you announce what he is doing through you.
-
If I use this as an example at 8 o'clock, if Elder Linda and Elder Keith stand up and tell everybody in this room, if you are married and you come to the marriage ministry, you won't get divorced.
-
We'll save your marriage.
-
If you listen, if you show up and do what you want to do, stay at the house and watch football.
-
But if you come and you do what they tell you to do, we can help you to save your marriage.
-
Some of y'all would declare that to be kind of cocky.
-
You can call it what you want to call it, but I'm telling you that there's an anointing and there's a grace on their life, they're not perfect.
-
They'll tell you that they're not perfect, but they got a grace on their life for that particular area of ministry.
-
If I tell you that I praise God for whatever church you go to, but if you come to Chosen City Church, that you are going to become a builder because I have a grace on my life for building.
-
If if you come to this church and God is going to heal you, and your life is not gonna be the same.
-
I don't praise God if you go to another place, but I'm telling you what'll happen if you come here.
-
That you're gonna be challenged and you won't leave here like you came in Jesus' name.
-
I'm gonna tell you what's gonna happen here.
-
We we're gonna have some good days and we're gonna have some bad days, but we always win at the end.
-
I'm gonna tell you that your life is gonna be better.
-
Now, now now that may sound like me trying to sell you, or maybe, just maybe, I'm getting comfortable in the calling that's on my life.
-
Maybe, just maybe.
-
I'm getting comfortable with the grace that God has given me to pray, and sometimes people get healed.
-
Maybe, just maybe, I'm getting comfortable with the prophetic that God has given me, and I'm starting to be bold and speak out loud what God has shown me.
-
You may call it cocky, but I call it that I'm just being walking in the anointing that God has on my life.
-
I say to every woman and every man in this room, in this season that we are in, God is saying, No more false humility.
-
If you are a book writer, you better start telling people if you read this book, your life will never be the same.
-
Not because of me, but your book got oil on it.
-
If you are a stylist, girl, you come to my shop, your herd do ain't gonna never look no better.
-
Because the oil I use for your finger waves is a different kind of oil.
-
I'm trying to help somebody.
-
Say false humility gotta die.
-
Yeah, we gotta realize who we are, the spirit.
-
We gotta stop sitting back.
-
God said, I'm looking for people to be bold, I'm looking for people to be strong.
-
He's saying to you right now, announce it.
-
Announce what it is that you can do that nobody else can do.
-
But after you announce it, you walk that, you if you talk that talk, you gotta walk that walk.
-
So I'ma announce, I believe, under the power of the Holy Ghost, that what we're going to do in the city will be a model for the nation.
-
Because we need Christ, but we also got to develop entrepreneurs.
-
We need Christ, but we got to develop education.
-
We need we need Christ, and we gotta have a business incubator.
-
We need we need Christ and we gotta have all of these components, and all these opponents are uh are necessary to minister to the whole person.
-
And I don't care what nobody says is impossible.
-
I read that all things are possible for those who believe.
-
I want to ask you right now, what is it that you're willing to announce?
-
Do you remember if you announce it?
-
If you talk that talk, you gotta walk that walk.
-
So I'm gonna ask you again, what is it that you are willing to announce?
-
See, anointed people can announce some stuff.
-
Y'all ain't got quiet, old Lord.
-
Anointed people announce some stuff.
-
Y'all, we about to go home.
-
What is it that you're willing to announce?
-
Huh?
-
You've been anointed.
-
When Jesus showed up, he unashamedly, mic dropped moment.
-
Said, I don't care if you believe me, your belief in me is not my concern, not my concern.
-
I'ma just tell you who I am in his spirit.
-
That's the issue right there.
-
Here, here, we're going home.
-
Listen, what happened was when Jesus announced it, verse 22 said that everybody spoke well of him and was amazed by the gracious words that came from his lips.
-
I need you to understand that this was confirmation and not validation.
-
We talked about this in um Bible study a little bit.
-
Here's what the Lord is saying people will confirm that you are anointed to do what you do, but you're not looking for people for validation.
-
They're just confirming what you already know.
-
With all due respect, I praise God because we all need encouragement.
-
I praise God that when a person comes up to me and says, Pastor, what you said today was just what I needed, it was as if you knew what was going on at my house.
-
I give God the glory, but it's confirmation because I already knew the word was gonna do that.
-
You think I knew that because I'm such a great preacher?
-
No.
-
You think I knew that because I'm so bad?
-
No, I just know the power of the oil that's on me.
-
So even if my subject and verbs don't agree, it's the oil that's gonna cover it all.
-
If I preach longer than you want me to, I'm unbothered because of the oil.
-
I am bold with it.
-
So guess what happens?
-
The difference though.
-
If I was looking for validation, then if Jamal came up to me and said, Man, you know, Pastor Walt, I wasn't feeling you today.
-
Now the whole my whole week busted up because I didn't get validation from a man.
-
And that's the problem with some of y'all in the room.
-
You are anointed, but you've been trying to get folks to validate you.
-
The only person that validates us is the Father.
-
And I'm trying to tell you that the Father has validated you already, He validated you on the cross.
-
He validated, somebody say I'm validated.
-
You are validated for what God is saying and what God is doing in this season of your life.
-
So when somebody comes up to you and says you do what you do so well, number one, you're gonna give God the glory.
-
But on the inside, real talk, you already know you do what you do so well because you know that the grace that's on your life, you know that you are covered.
-
Last thing, watch this, and we go home.
-
But you gotta realize this, you gotta realize this anointed people.
-
Everybody cannot receive you.
-
I need you to know this.
-
We're gonna be done.
-
Everybody can't receive you.
-
Jesus said it like this, verse 23.
-
Because they was asking questions.
-
Like, wait a minute.
-
Some people was praising, but some people were saying, How can this be?
-
Isn't this just Joseph's son?
-
How can this be?
-
Isn't this just the one that was just preaching at another church long ago?
-
Because sometimes people cannot see you where you are, they only can see you how you were.
-
So Jesus spoke to the fact that being anointed, he says, He told him this.
-
He said, Then he said, You will undoubtedly quote me this proverb, position, heal yourself, meaning do miracles here in your hometown, like you did in in Capernaum.
-
But I'll tell you the truth.
-
No prophet, hear this, y'all see it?
-
Verse 24.
-
No prophet is accepted in his hometown.
-
Y'all, I need to help you.
-
We're going home, but let me tell you this.
-
For all the anointed people in the room, you gotta realize there's some spaces and places that you will never be accepted.
-
I needed to understand, and y'all need to understand this.
-
I am good with it, Lord knows I am.
-
Because I wait for our heel before I heal for open my mouth.
-
But I had to come to the conclusion that even the church I came from, especially with the ones that came from the other church with me here, they could only see me at one way.
-
And I had to say, I gotta love them anyway.
-
They can never see me but this way.
-
We've spent years in that way.
-
They can never see me in this way until the Lord opened their eyes.
-
And then what I had to do was stop being mad because they could never see certain things, because that's all they ever knew.
-
There were people that could only see Jesus as Joseph's boy, they only saw him with it on his daddy's shoulder, they only saw him doing this and doing that.
-
So now all of a sudden you call yourself the Messiah of the world.
-
And I want to tell you, Jesus didn't spend a whole lot of time with people who couldn't see the essence of who he was.
-
All he said was, unfortunately, I can't do what I would normally do.
-
And real talk, for those of you all that just see me in a certain light, there's only so much that I can do for you.
-
If you just see me as the preacher you listen to on Sunday, all I can do is see give you a little preaching every now and then.
-
But if you see me as a person, as the Bible says, that has watch over your soul, then because of how you see me and because of the oil, then I could do a different thing.
-
Not because of me, but because of the oil.
-
So it's about how do you see what's before you?
-
I can't, I ain't got no control over it.
-
Can I tell you you ain't got no control over it?
-
I got free a long time ago of trying to make somebody see the prophetic gifts on my life.
-
I ain't got no control over how you see me.
-
I ain't got no control over what you think about anything you thought you know since you knew me for so long.
-
I ain't got no control over that.
-
All I can tell you is I am who I am.
-
I'm gonna be who I call me to be.
-
And I pray that the Lord will show you to you one day.
-
But if you never see it, you the one that's gonna miss out on the miracle.
-
And that's what Jesus said.
-
Because certain people couldn't see it, they missed out on the miracle.
-
I got some bad news now for you.
-
It's some people that's about to miss out on the miracle of you because they couldn't see you.
-
But there's another crowd.
-
Somebody says another crowd.
-
There's another crowd that's been waiting on you.
-
They've been waiting on the oil that was on you.
-
Somebody says another crowd.
-
There's another crowd that ain't heard about you yet, but now that you're about to open your mouth, I declare that your marketing is about to shift.
-
I pray all on the marketing that I'm about you're about to reintroduce yourself.
-
Somebody said there's another crowd.
-
Yeah, there's another crowd that was praying for for an intercessor to show up.
-
There was another crowd.
-
They was praying for a church that had a heart for missions.
-
There was another crowd that was praying for church in the in a in an experiential way.
-
Somebody said there was another crowd.
-
And I want to let you know that that now is your time because that other crowd is about to show up.
-
Yeah, and that other crowd is about to uh thank God.
-
You know why?
-
Because when they have an encounter with you, you are the answer of what they have been praying for, yes, you are what they have been hoping for, yes.
-
You are about what they have been dreaming for, yes.
-
You are what they have been fasting for, yes.
-
You are the answer to the unanswered question, yes.
-
You are the one that'll pray, and somebody's got to get healed.
-
You are the one that'll pray and the child will come back home.
-
You are the one that'll pray, and the atmosphere of the job will change.
-
Don't you know that people have been waiting on you?
-
Don't you know that people have been praying for you?
-
That's why we gotta stir up the gift because there's somebody right now that is waiting on you.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
There is something within you that bothers you that you have a burden for, and God is saying, uh, I'm about to release you to be the answer to the problem.
-
Y'all know I'm a manifestation of everything that I'm trying to tell you.
-
And for those that was in Bible study with us on Wednesday night, I talked about the fact that God had placed a burden, had placed it on my heart, y'all.
-
Uh-huh.
-
For some of the young brothers in our community, uh, because we're losing too many young brothers and too many alternative violence.
-
And I said, when there's a burden on your life, everybody may see what you see, but they won't respond how you respond.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
I told the people when God places a burden on you, the burden is gonna stay with you until you get up and do what you have been anointed to do.
-
I need to talk to some people in the room.
-
There's a burden on you, and God is saying until you pray, uh, until God is saying until you move, I'm gonna keep that weight on you until you step up to the plate.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
And if it's not a burden, it's often a passion.
-
There are a hundred of you all in this room that God has given a passion for something nobody else has a passion for.
-
God has said you got that passion because I've anointed you for a season such as this.
-
Shout me out if you know you got a passion.
-
Holler at your boy if you know you got a burden.
-
One on Wednesday, I was telling the people, uh, I said I got a new anointing, y'all.
-
And it's for the young adults, uh, and especially the young brothers.
-
I said, I can't stand by any longer and watch young brothers shoot up watermelon festivals.
-
I can't stand by much longer and watch the young brothers who going out to have a good time, lose their life in unnecessary violence.
-
I said, I can't take it no more.
-
It wakes me up at night.
-
I can't take it no more.
-
Uh uh I get mad when I see it on the TV.
-
I wish I had somebody in the room that knew what I was talking about.
-
You got a passion and a burden, uh, and you got a case of the I can't help it.
-
Well, I left Bible study, uh, me and Mario coming around the corner, uh, and good God Almighty, I saw the finest group of young brothers, some strong young men, they were standing in our front yard, I believe it was about six or seven of them, and they were playing football.
-
Uh-uh.
-
I said, Ain't God crazy?
-
We was literally just in Bible study, uh, and we was praying for the young brothers, uh, and I told the church, uh, I said, we gotta go out to the streets because the streets may not come to us.
-
And God blessed me because that's what anointing looks like.
-
The moment you tell God you ready, uh, God's gonna say, I was waiting on you.
-
Y'all, I didn't get off the church parking lot.
-
I got right there to that grass, and seven brothers was right there playing football.
-
I said, If this ain't a sign, I don't know what the sign is.
-
I drove my little truck on the grass.
-
I think at first they thought they was in trouble, but they were some respectable young men.
-
And they said, hey brothers, I'm the pastor here.
-
I want y'all to know that y'all can come here anytime you want to.
-
I want y'all to know that we was just talking about y'all on the inside.
-
And one of the young brothers said, hey, Pastor, what's crazy is uh we were talking about God while we was playing football.
-
I'm trying to help somebody.
-
Somebody been waiting on you.
-
Somebody is waiting on you.
-
I promise you.
-
I got with the brothers and we had a good conversation.
-
They even challenged me to play football.
-
I want to tell somebody that that moment of me giving God my yes is shifting me to a higher plane.
-
And the moment that you give God your yes, uh, he's about to shift you to a higher plane so you can have higher impact because somebody's waiting on you.
-
Say that out loud.
-
Somebody's waiting on me.
-
Somebody's waiting on me.
-
Say it like you mean it says, somebody's waiting on me.
-
That's why we gotta build a city because the young brother said, Pastor, uh, thank you.
-
Hold on, hold on why he said, Pastor, thank you for letting us use your yard.
-
Watch this.
-
Because they said, because we don't really have anywhere else to go.
-
So when you talk about vision and you talk about what we gotta do, some of the most respectable young men I've ever met, all they wanted to do was to have a place to play football.
-
God is saying to us, somebody's waiting on you.
-
The door's a house of God saying to them.
-
Because somebody's waiting on you.
-
Your prayer life gotta shift.
-
You gotta pray that the anointing will fall on you.
-
You gotta pray that prayer.
-
As a matter of fact, that's how I'm leaving it today.
-
As they are singing this song, and we open the door to the church.
-
I want to ask those beautiful people that sang with us again.
-
I want y'all to come stand with us one more time.
-
The words of this song, this is what we're going home on.
-
This is more than just a song, it's a prayer.
-
If you pray this prayer, God is gonna stir something in you before you leave.
-
If you sing this song not just as a song, but as a prayer.
-
Anointing.
-
Fall on me.
-
Is that anybody else who's prayer for the anointing to fall on you?
-
Yeah, we're going home on this.
-
That what I just told you about that happened Wednesday.
-
I'm telling you that somebody waiting on you to offer walk, work in your call.
-
And when you give God a yes and you allow the anointing to fall on your life, He's gonna connect you with them because they've been waiting on you.
-
The door to the house of God stands open.
-
As the people are coming, I want the elders that are not singing, I want y'all to get an aw.
-
Because I believe somebody's gonna meant multiple people will give God a yes today.
-
Multiple people will give a God a yesterday.
-
Here's the options that are on the floor as they say.
-
If you need a church home, a place where you can grow and understand what it is that God has called you to do even more.
-
We want you to come.
-
If you've never given your life to Jesus and been baptized, we want you to come.
-
If you need somebody to pray with you about the anointing, whatever you're standing in need of, we'll do that at the end.
-
But maybe you need a special prayer.
-
But I don't want some, I know I believe by faith.
-
That's what people are going to give God a yesterday.
-
In Jesus' name.
-
In Jesus' name.
-
A noity fall on me.
-
Sing it with him, sing it with me.
-
Everybody sing anoint.
-
Would you please fall at the power of the voice?
-
Anointing.
-
Everybody say anointing.
-
Somebody would you please you need a church home.
-
You need to give your life to the Lord.
-
You never been baptized.
-
You need to rededicate.
-
Let the power, let the power.
-
Let him hold me.
-
Let me power the holy power.
-
We need to fall at the power of the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
Dear gracious God, our Father.
-
It is in this moment where we say, Wonder work a wonder.
-
It is in this moment where we look to a God that reigns and is still sitting on the throne.
-
It is in this moment where we look to a God that has all power, that's omniscient, that's omnipresent.
-
It is in this moment where we recognize the I am that I am, which simply means that you will be whatever we need you to be.
-
So in this moment, we need you to be the lifter up of our bow down head.
-
It is in this moment we need you to be a mind regulator.
-
It is in this moment that we continue to need you to be a provider.
-
It is in this moment that we continue to need you to be a protector.
-
It is in this moment that we simply need you to be God, Jehovah Jairah, Jehovah Nisi.
-
Heavenly Father, it is in this moment where somebody needs you to be a father, somebody needs you to be a mother.
-
Somebody needs you to be a friend because we know you to be a friend to the friendless.
-
It is in this moment where we need you to be the anointer of our head.
-
Dear Heavenly Father, we need you to allow our cup to run over.
-
Heavenly Father, we need you to do those wonders in our lives because we know that there is a great work for us to do in you.
-
So dear heavenly father, we need you to strengthen our hands as we lift them.
-
We need you to heavenly father to protect our hearts.
-
We need you to mend and fix our hearts.
-
In this moment, we come against self-pity.
-
In this moment, we come against depression.
-
In this moment, we come against anxiety.
-
In this moment, we come against suicidal ideation.
-
In this moment, we come against the lack of self-esteem.
-
In this moment, we come against the lack of confidence.
-
In this moment, we look to you, oh God, because dear heavenly father, we know that you are the lifter of our head.
-
In Father, you're a burden bearer at a heavy load sheriff.
-
In this moment, God, we need you so that we can run on and see what the end is going to be.
-
What does our future look like in God?
-
What does our purpose look like in God?
-
It looks like us being the lender and not the borrower.
-
It looks like us being the head and not the tail.
-
It looks like us being above and not beneath.
-
It looks like us being victors and not victims.
-
It looks like us being more than conquerors in you, oh God.
-
So, dearly Father, as you continue to work on us, as the anointing continues to cover us, as you continue to create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit.
-
Oh deavenly Father, we get ready to get excited because we now know that there's no need to worry what the night is going to bring.
-
Oh God, we get excited because we know that weeping may endure for a night.
-
We may have been in a season of weeping, but deathly father, we may have been in a season of doubt, but now we know.
-
Now we know that all things are possible with Christ Jesus.
-
Now we know that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength.
-
Now we know that all things work together for the good of them who love the Lord.
-
Now we know that we are more than conquerors.
-
Now we know that weeping might have endured for the night, but we're entering to an anointed season.
-
We're entering to a reaping season, a season of joy, a season of peace, a season of prosperity, a season of greater, a season of favor, an anointed season, and anointed season, an anointed season, an anointed season.
-
And if you believe that, go ahead and give God praise.
-
You don't have to wait until the battle is over.
-
Shout out.
-
Shout out.
-
Shout out.
-
Shout out.
-
Shout out for your breakthrough.
-
Shout now for your healing.
-
Shout out for greater.
-
Shout out for the anointing.
-
Spirit of the living God.
-
Spirit of the living God.
-
All fresh on us, oh god.
-
I will forever give the glory.
-
You get the glory.
-
You get the praise.
-
You take me on.
-
We say thank you.
-
You get the glory.
-
You get the praise.
-
You take me on.
-
Thank you.
-
You get the glory.
-
You get the praise.
-
You take me on.
-
We say thank you.
-
We say thank you.
-
We say thank you.
-
Come on, we say thank you.
-
I said we say thank you.
-
For every mountain you thought us through.
-
For every straw you see us through.
-
Where every blessing.
-
We say hallelujah.
-
That made a part of the start.
-
But we say, Hallelujah.
-
It was dark in that last season.
-
But we say hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
All praises be to the King of Kings.
-
For the Lord our God.
-
He's the anointing of our head.
-
He's giving us exactly what we need for our next season.
-
God, we love you.
-
Hey Brandy.
-
I'm gonna officially dismiss what you and Chosen City Master.
-
What did you think everybody can catch?
-
Let them send everybody home on that real quick.
-
Y'all we gotta go home.
-
You need to be obedient.
-
I just want to encourage you to be obedient.
-
Confirmation.
-
You just need to be obedient to the Spirit and do what God's called you to do.
-
So as we dismiss, they gonna sing.
-
And we uh wait on you to come down and be obedient.
-
Well, I say waiting like this.
-
We going on.
-
God saying, Are you gonna do what I told you to do or not?
-
So uh I'm gonna be standing here though, because I believe you're gonna be obedient.
-
But this is the Lord's doing and it's marvelous in his sight.
-
Now may the grace of God and sweet communion of the Holy Spirit rest rules in the Bible with each and every one of us now, henceforth and forevermore.
-
Let the people of God say, Amen, amen, amen.
-
