God be the glory.
-
God be the glory.
-
There's a word for the house today.
-
Share what God has been porting to me.
-
We'll be journeying through the book of Nehemiah, Ezra, and we will also be um hearing from Zerubabel.
-
Good news is you won't hear all of them today.
-
Don't worry, we won't hear all of them today.
-
But I'm just letting you know that um over the course of the journey, if you play it, listen carefully, we learn how to manifest, we learn how to build through the lives of these individuals and what they went through.
-
It is our custom here to read the word of God out loud together.
-
We'll be reading Nehemiah the first chapter, verse 1 through 4.
-
Nehemiah 1, verse 1 through 4.
-
Ready, set, read.
-
These are the memoirs of Nehemiah, son of Hekilah.
-
In late autumn in the month of Kizhlev, in the 20th year of King Ataxerxes' reign, I was at the fortress of Susa.
-
Hanani, one of my brothers, came to visit me with some other men who had just arrived from Judah.
-
I asked them about the Jews who had returned there from captivity and about how things were going in Jerusalem.
-
They said to me, Things are not going well for those who returned to the province of Judah.
-
They are in great trouble and disgrace.
-
The wall of Jerusalem has been torn down, and the gates have been destroyed by fire.
-
When I heard this, I sat down and wept.
-
In fact, for days I mourned, fasted, and prayed to the God of heaven.
-
And I would just like to use as a sermon topic today under the power of the Holy Ghost.
-
It's about to become clear.
-
It's about to become clear.
-
You may be seated in the presence of our Lord.
-
Family, I'm gonna jump straight in.
-
I am so excited about where the Lord is taking chosen city church.
-
I need you to know that the Lord has entrusted within us a great vision.
-
He's chosen us for a time such as this.
-
But I realize that there is always a timing to everything the Lord sets out to do.
-
And I want to encourage you and let you know that whenever God releases vision is usually during a time of Kijlev.
-
Whenever God releases vision, it's during a time period known as Kijlev.
-
The month of Kijlev is the ninth month on the Jewish calendar.
-
By the way, when I'm saying this, I'm not literally saying that the only time God is going to talk to you is the ninth month on the Jewish calendar, but I'm speaking metaphorically about this time period called Kijlev.
-
The month of Kijlev is the ninth month on the Jewish calendar with falls uh what we will refer to as the November-December time frame.
-
It's a significant month in Jewish tradition, notable for being the time where they celebrate the festival of lights, Hanukkah, and which commemorates a miracle and rededication of the temple.
-
Kislev is interesting because it is associated with themes such as trust.
-
So in times of Kizlev, you learn to trust God.
-
How do we know this?
-
Because we'll see this in the Bible that many things that require God trust happen in Kijlev.
-
It's a time of intense dreams where God gives people dreams.
-
We know this because when Joseph received the dream that he received to be who God had called him to be, it happened in that time of Kijlev.
-
But this is what I really want to highlight.
-
Kizhlev is a time where we celebrate the emergence of light in the darkest part of the year.
-
Let me say that one again.
-
Kizhlev is the time where we celebrate the emergence of light in the darkest time of the year.
-
Don't worry, I'm gonna make it real plain for you.
-
What am I telling you is that Kislev represents the dark part of our lives.
-
For somebody that is just coming out of an intense medical situation, you're in a season of Kislev.
-
For somebody who's literally fresh out of a life transition or in the midst of one, you're in the middle of Kislev.
-
But the light, somebody said a light.
-
The light is the vision because vision emerges in the darkest times of our life.
-
And I'm here to tell you prophetically that it's about to come clear why you had to spend so much time in darkness.
-
You have been in darkness not because that God has forgotten about you, you've been in darkness not because the enemy is overtaking you, you have been in darkness because God is trying to produce new vision in your life, and vision is most often produced in a time of Kislev.
-
I know this because in the book of Genesis, a dark time came upon humanity when Adam and Eve failed the test of freedom.
-
When they fail the opportunity when God said, You can live here, but eat of everything except that one tree.
-
And they were tempted by the enemy to eat of that one tree.
-
Darkness hit the land, and their sin caused immediate separation between them and God.
-
But I'm here to tell you, in the middle of darkness, God always has a plan.
-
As a matter of fact, can y'all help me early on in the sermon so I don't have to preach by myself?
-
Tell somebody it may be dark, but your God has a plan.
-
Or tell somebody else say it may be dark, but your God has a plan.
-
Adam and Eve found themselves in a kids left moment, and what God said is I have a plan.
-
He said, uh, from the birth canals of a woman, the a Savior would be born.
-
That's interesting to me, Pastor D, because it was the woman that initiated uh the mess up, and uh and meaning that she was the first one that was deceived, and then the man didn't do any better because he kept the party going.
-
But uh the reason I raise it is because even though the woman messed up, that woman was still favored by God.
-
Even though that man messed up, that man was still favored by God.
-
Can I help somebody to know that just because you messed up, it doesn't count to the fact that you are still favored?
-
And he says that even though you messed up, woman, I'm going to produce the savior through your wounds.
-
And in the process, in this dark moment, my vision is that the savior would come and would strike the head of the enemy, but in the process, the savior himself would be struck in.
-
In other words, they hung hung him high and they stretched him wide.
-
He hung his head, and for me he died.
-
But but that's not how the story would end.
-
In three days, he would rise again because God always has a plan in the middle of Kislev.
-
You remember the children of Israel being in a season of bondage.
-
It was dark, it was Kislev.
-
Somebody said it was Kislev.
-
Uh they were in bondage, they was in darkness and in the midst of darkness.
-
He called on an individual named Moses.
-
And it's interesting how he called Moses.
-
He summoned him in the spirit.
-
And I believe that God is summoned, summoning some of you all in the spirit.
-
I know for a fact that there are some people here today that have never been here before.
-
I want you to know you're not here by happenstance.
-
You have been summoned here in the spirit.
-
You can articulate why you drove all the way down here, but you were summoned here in the spirit.
-
When Moses was summoned in the spirit to the mountain, he has an unusual encounter with God.
-
Because God has an unusual assignment for him.
-
God does something crazy.
-
He does what, family, y'all help me preach.
-
He sets a what?
-
A bush on fire.
-
And even though the bush was on fire, the fire didn't consume the bush because God had an unusual assignment for Moses.
-
He elected to speak to Moses in an unusual way.
-
Moses had a choice.
-
He could have ran because he could have said, I don't know what kind of spooky stuff is going on down there, but I don't want none of that.
-
Moses could have ran and said that uh maybe this is demonic, but it was God doing a new thing.
-
And I want to talk to somebody today and tell you that the Lord has been doing a new thing.
-
He's been trying to do a new thing, but you can't be afraid to get close to the fire.
-
Yeah.
-
There's some people you have been locked up in tradition so long that you're afraid to get close to the fire.
-
You're afraid that if you get too close, you might find yourself talking in strange tongues and you've been making fun of that your whole life.
-
You're afraid to get close to the fire.
-
You're afraid that if you get close to the fire, that God will finally uh talk to you about the essence of who He has called you to be.
-
You're afraid to get close to the fire.
-
But I'm here to tell you that because God wants to do a new thing through your life, don't miss it because He's talking to you in a new and a unique way.
-
There are too many of you all that are looking for God to speak in a moment of kids left in the same way he spoke to you the last time.
-
But the Lord has declared, look, I'm doing a new thing.
-
That's the reason why this church is not like your other church because the Lord is doing a new thing in your life, and you gotta stop expecting new things in old ways.
-
You gotta be one that says, I've never seen a bush on fire before, but I'm gonna get a little bit closer and see what's up.
-
I need about a hundred people in the room that's committed for the rest of this worship service and say, I'm gonna get a little bit closer to the fire today than I ever have before.
-
How do I get closer to the fire?
-
It's in our worship.
-
Matter of fact, right now, early on, early on, I need somebody that don't normally scream out, that's willing to get closer to the fire, to lift your voice to heaven.
-
I need somebody that don't normally scream out just to start praising your God because today you have committed to get closer to the fire.
-
And the Lord says, the closer you get to the fire, it's all about to make sense.
-
The closer you get to the fire.
-
I'm about to show you what I'm up to in your life.
-
It is in these moments of Kisla where the Lord is raising some Jeremiah's in this room.
-
Jeremiah was prophetic.
-
Jeremiah had a tough job because God will show him things that he was not showing anybody else.
-
And there's some of you in the room like that.
-
You see stuff that other people don't see, and they often don't believe you when you see it.
-
But you got to trust God in what he has shown you.
-
Because there's coming an appointed time in Kislev where people will come to you asking a question.
-
When Jeremiah was prophesying, they once locked him up because his prophecy was that the people would stay in bondage for a longer period of time because of their disobedience.
-
Ain't nobody want to go to no church talking about that.
-
They want to hear blessed in the city, blessed in the field, blessed when I come.
-
They said, Lock him up.
-
We don't want his sermon, we don't want that one.
-
But a time came where that candy faith wasn't good enough.
-
A time came where that where that with that with that with that lemonade Kool-Aid mix faith wasn't good enough.
-
A time came where the people of God needed some substance.
-
I'm here to tell y'all we had a time where the people of God needed some substance.
-
And what happened was that in a time where the people needed some substance, in a time where there was a Kislev moment, the king ran to the prophet.
-
In other words, the politician ran to the pulpit, not looking for the vote, not looking for the microphone.
-
The politician ran to the pulpit to say, Is there any word from the Lord?
-
I'm here to tell some of y'all in the room that God is positioning you because on your job, the folks that laugh about the fact that you spend so much time praising the Lord in your family, the people that don't often uh go to church, a time is coming where the people will come to you and say, Is there any word from the Lord?
-
We've seen it one time already when the pandemic showed up.
-
It was amazing how many folks found Jesus in that moment when the pandemic showed up.
-
Everybody was quoting Psalm 91.
-
Because Psalm 91 said, The Lord will protect me from the heapy jeepies, won't he do it?
-
Because if you get crazy enough out here, they used to tell us in the army it's no atheist in a foxhole.
-
When somebody's shooting at you, you're like, Pass me not.
-
Oh, general savior.
-
I'm here to report to you that the enemy's still shooting.
-
I'm here to report to you that the enemy's still on the loose.
-
I'm here to report to you that we're in a season of kids' love.
-
And God is saying, I gotta raise up visionaries, I gotta raise up more prophets, I'm I gotta raise up more teachers, I gotta raise up more godly-minded politicians.
-
We're in a season of kids' love.
-
I gotta raise up more people so that when the enemy attacks next, we will be ready for what's on the way.
-
God always sends vision in a season of kids' love.
-
But you need to understand something about kingdom vision.
-
The purpose of kingdom vision is to resolve a problem and accomplish the will of God in the earth.
-
The purpose of kingdom vision is to resolve a problem and accomplish the will of God in the earth.
-
Look at Nehemiah 1, verse 2 and 3.
-
Hananiah, one of Nehemiah's brothers, came to visit him along with some other fellas who had just gotten to Judah.
-
And Nehemiah said, Hey, what's up?
-
How are things back home?
-
You see, they had been in Babylonian captivity for about 70 years.
-
Jeremiah was right in his prophecy that they would be there for a long time.
-
And he said, Man, how how are things back home?
-
In verse 3, they said, Bro, we gotta tell you, things are not going well for those that have been released from bondage and returned to the motherland.
-
He said, They are in great trouble and disgrace because Jerusalem, the whole city had been turned out, torn down.
-
It had been torn down, y'all.
-
It had been burned, the the grocery store burned, the the place of worship torn down, the schools, the synagogues, everything that they knew.
-
Can you imagine?
-
And see, the Bible becomes alive when you don't look at this as a story.
-
I don't know where you're from.
-
Where you from, wherever you're from, you think about where you're from, and you think about what that place means to you.
-
And would you can you imagine um not only if uh this was a place, but it wasn't just a place, it was the place where you felt God the most, right?
-
Anybody got a place where you you feel like you feel God the most?
-
So imagine not only your residence was torn down, the place where you feel God the most has been burned and destroyed.
-
Everything that the ancestors had built was gone.
-
And this news came and it said it had all been destroyed by fire.
-
Family is noteworthy that Nehemiah's brother and those other men saw the problem that Nehemiah had yet to see.
-
Nehemiah had not yet returned home, but these other men had seen the problem.
-
But when Nehemiah heard about it, it stuck to him.
-
Now, some of you all in the room, you have vision for your family because you have heard about something.
-
Everybody else in the family heard about it, but when you heard about it, it stuck to you.
-
That's something you saw on the news, everybody else saw the same news report.
-
Literally, millions of people saw the same news report, and they said, That's messed up, dog.
-
But what are we having for dinner?
-
Because they passed right on by.
-
But I'm here to tell you that vision is birthed not only in kids' lab, it's birthed from that thing that happens to stick to you.
-
I want to talk to everybody in the room.
-
What is it right now that's stuck to you?
-
Pastor D in Eden, North Carolina, since God has you planted there, what is the one thing that's just stuck to you?
-
Every time you hear about it, you can't let it go.
-
The rest of the pastors say, Well, that's just how it is, but no, it sticks to you.
-
Can I talk to some fathers in the room?
-
What is the one thing, man, that just sticks to you?
-
Every time you hear about it, every time you hear a man going through it, every time you see it, it just turns your stomach.
-
It it sticks to you.
-
Can I talk to the ladies in the room?
-
Ladies, uh, what is the one thing that that every time you hear it, it hits you differently.
-
It keeps you up at night, it sometimes causes you a headache.
-
You wake up thinking about it.
-
What is the thing?
-
Can I talk to the students in the room?
-
I know that y'all have a lot coming at you, but you know at an early age that when you hear about a certain thing, it sticks to you.
-
Vision is birth, one of those things that are stuck to us.
-
I told you, one of the things that the Lord stuck to me recently is a heart for young men.
-
And I don't normally do this, but and maybe I pray that he's here.
-
We've been talking all week.
-
TJ, you here today?
-
TJ, you here today?
-
TJ, you here today we was talking.
-
I'm gonna find him online.
-
TJ, if you're here today, don't be afraid to stand up.
-
I got something for you.
-
I was talking to a young man named TJ and his grandmother.
-
And TJ represents the best of what some of our young men could be.
-
TJ's been through a lot of stuff.
-
But I realized that without support, uh, this system will collapse on TJ.
-
I'm calling him out, not to call him out, but I'm calling him out to bless him.
-
We've been talking all week, and maybe he couldn't make it, but I'm gonna find TJ because God placed it on my heart to say that we gotta do something for our young sons and daughters.
-
And was in Bible study once where I was talking about that, and we had some of the young men that were um in the front yard.
-
We they were in the front yard.
-
Uh we've had we was doing Bible study, and we literally, for those of Bible, who's there in Bible study that day was talking about it.
-
So, y'all see this hand?
-
We literally, it's no exaggeration.
-
I didn't know they was out there that day.
-
They came a couple times, apparently.
-
It was my first time seeing them, but we was in here and we prayed.
-
I said, Lord, place it on my heart.
-
It stuck to me that I can't just keep watching these young brothers and sisters die in these streets.
-
And we prayed for them.
-
Literally, leave out a Bible study as a group playing football in the front yard.
-
So I get in my truck and I ride on the grass, I go around, and they were very, very respectful and almost apologetic.
-
Like, sorry, we didn't mean to.
-
I said, No, man, I'm just coming to hang out with y'all.
-
And I said, This is no exaggeration, Mario was with me.
-
I said, Hey, what's crazy, man, is that we was praying over y'all on the inside.
-
And one of them said, Man, what's crazy is we was praying and talking about God out here while we was playing football.
-
That happened right there in the yard.
-
And then they started speaking my love language.
-
You know what they said?
-
He said, Hey, you the pastor?
-
I said, Yeah.
-
They said, You play football.
-
I said, You know, I tried to do a little something back in the day.
-
Oh, oh, old buddy, then old buddy then took a receiver stance on me.
-
I said, Oh, challenge?
-
Now I didn't.
-
If I had a handsome advil and the right shoes, I would have taken him up on the challenge.
-
But we had a good time.
-
And I tell them, no, that they're welcome to come here.
-
So if y'all ever see somebody in the community, the community's welcome here.
-
Because one of the young brothers said, Hey, Pastor Man, we appreciate that.
-
He said, Because all we're looking for is a safe space where we can hang out.
-
He said, One of my friends went to a pool party and got shot.
-
He said, We can't go nowhere.
-
I'm trying to let you know that even the students know that it's crazy in the street.
-
So God has given us vision to be able to build something so that our students and the community can have a safe place to develop and be who God has called them to be.
-
Because vision is always developed.
-
God places on my heart.
-
Here it is.
-
Because there's a lot going on in the world.
-
For those that don't know, I'm a big I registered voter, independent.
-
I go with God the best I can.
-
So when I say certain things, I'm not coming against, I'm not trying to come against Democrat or Republican.
-
But I'm gonna stand against foolishness ten-toed down.
-
The leader of the of the of our country.
-
Was it three days ago?
-
I need y'all to understand why I'm gonna talk about a kids left moment.
-
And maybe you can't catch it if you ain't got little black boys and little black girls, but if you got little black boys and little black girls, you you caught this one.
-
He said out of his mouth in Baltimore.
-
He said, These are these children, direct quote, are born to kill.
-
I need you to understand what we are.
-
I need you to understand where we are.
-
This ain't no Democrat or Republican thing.
-
You got a man that got millions of people across the world listening, and he stands and says that these children are born to kill.
-
Direct quote.
-
They will slit your throat and not even think about it.
-
Do y'all understand what that does?
-
It sends a dog whistle to the world.
-
Stand up, my son.
-
Stand up.
-
They're going three on right.
-
Stand up, all three.
-
Stand up.
-
Come here.
-
Come here, all three.
-
Hurry up.
-
Come here.
-
Come here.
-
Come here.
-
I need to understand this ain't politics.
-
These are my babies.
-
I die for them.
-
Come here.
-
Come here.
-
Stand up.
-
Come here.
-
He sends a dog whistle to the world.
-
That instead of Jonah, who is in a gifted class, and his and his he's tested gifted.
-
Instead of Joshua, who's right there and Mr.
-
Politics and Mr.
-
Popularity.
-
And Jacob, who's also a fine scholar, and and is running for class uh president.
-
He sends, he sends a message that when you see them, don't see the essence of God's creation, but he's sending a message to the world that when you see kids that look like this, they are a threat.
-
If y'all don't understand the trouble that we are in, because that rolls downhill.
-
So now if they go to the mall, their president said that they are natural-born killers.
-
The devil is a liar.
-
My God said that they are fearfully and wonderfully made.
-
My God said they the head and not the tail.
-
How dare you come out of your mouth?
-
This is why God has us envision.
-
Because right after that, for those of you say, Oh, that was a national thing, that's not right after that.
-
In this city, in this zip code 28273, there was an educator that said to one of our babies in this building that he was gonna die, and she was gonna laugh about it.
-
In this, in this zip code, in the building right now.
-
That child's 10 y'all.
-
I'm trying to help y'all to understand.
-
When it's stuck on you, you don't play with it.
-
I'm telling you, a child that's in this building right now, teacher said to them this week, you are going to die, and I'm going to laugh about it.
-
I'm trying to get y'all to understand we're not playing games.
-
I'm trying to get y'all to understand that we gotta move with a speed that we ain't gonna it can't delay.
-
Now what now what the what the family don't know, well the family do know because they in here, when they go see the principal, or we going to see the principal.
-
Amen, somebody.
-
Amen, somebody.
-
When we go see the principal, I need that teacher to be released to her destiny.
-
Target hiring, Amazon got some jobs.
-
I wish you well, but the classroom is not your call because these lives are on the line.
-
God releases vision in seasons of kids' love, and the Lord is saying for some people in this room that he's releasing vision too.
-
He said, Seek vision and you will find it.
-
Nehemiah shows us how to seek vision.
-
Here it is.
-
When Nehemiah heard that his hometown was destroyed, when he heard that everything that his family had built was taken down, he heard this, he sat down and wept.
-
The Bible says, in fact, for days he mourned, fasted, and prayed.
-
I'm trying to help somebody to help you to understand that in this season, God is going to release vision through your mourning, your fasting, and your praying.
-
You need to understand biblical mourning.
-
There's a book in the Bible called The Book of Lamentations, also written by Jeremiah.
-
And the entire book is them reflecting on what they were going through.
-
Um, for the counselors in the room, they don't use the word mourning perhaps, but what counselors do is to help you to deal with the reality of your current situation.
-
And Nehemiah was mourning because the reality was that many of the things that they were going through were self-inflicted.
-
And God is saying, I'm trying to help you and I'm trying to bless you, but you got to deal with the stuff that you did that was self-inflicted.
-
I wish I had somebody in the room that's honest enough to say, I'm broke not because of the economy, but because I went Versace, Versace, Versace.
-
Amen.
-
We're gonna talk about it, we're gonna talk about it.
-
Amen, somebody.
-
Sometimes we we we we it happen because had you just ignored that DM, Lord have mercy, had you just left it on unread, you might be in a better situation.
-
And so sometimes we have to lament because it gives us a moment to be real with God and to be honest about ourselves.
-
We don't lament to stay there.
-
No, no.
-
We lament to confess our sins because our God is faithful and just to forgive our sins.
-
We lament to deal with the fact that we are emotional creatures, and God, I'm mad at how you are handling this situation.
-
We lament because sometimes we don't understand what God is saying and what God is doing, and it puts us in a season of we just have to deal with how we feel.
-
I'm trying to help the visionaries in the room.
-
There's somebody in the room I want to let you know that you're in a safe space to feel how you feel.
-
You're in a safe space to feel how you feel.
-
You feel.
-
The men have started what they call uh shop talk true at True's barbershop, true stand up.
-
I need every man in here uh at some point to pass through shop talk.
-
They do it at his barbershop, and and the barbershop is down south trying.
-
You know why they do it there?
-
Because they may not be as comfortable coming into the house of God saying that my attitude is, you know what, it if you understand what I'm talking about.
-
You know what I'm talking about?
-
I would not disrespect, I won't dis I won't disrespect this place either.
-
But you need a place where you can say how you really feel.
-
You need a space where you can say how you really feel about God.
-
You need a space where you can say what you're really feeling about your wife or your children or whatever without judgment.
-
And the Lord is saying, I want to give you that space so that you can release it.
-
Because there are some of you all that's been holding it too long.
-
So I want to talk to every man in the room.
-
There's a safe space.
-
And real talk, the reason I hadn't shown up there yet is because I understand that all the men don't know me yet.
-
And what I mean by that, I don't want to restrict free-flow conversation because they don't know me yet.
-
They don't know if it comes out of their mouth.
-
At one point on the journey, it probably came out of my mouth too.
-
They don't know yet, so I want them to feel safe.
-
But once they start to feel and realize that I'm just I've started, I I've been where they are.
-
My assignment is just different.
-
But I want to talk to the people in the room and say you got to lament.
-
And as you go into a season of lament, your lament season doesn't last as long.
-
Watch this.
-
As your praise season.
-
Notice that the book of lament lamentations is short in the Bible, but one of the longer books of the Bible is the is the book is are the are the Psalms.
-
The Psalms, one of the longest ones, which and if you look at the Psalms, most of the Psalms are talking about in the midst of it all, I will still praise.
-
In the midst of it all, I'll still lift up holy hands.
-
My season of lamentation is God.
-
I don't know why I'm here, but the Lord is saying it is about to become clear.
-
But while I'm waiting on it to make sense, while I'm waiting on it to turn around, I've gotten to the point where my mourning won't be longer than my praise.
-
And now some of you all in the room, God wants to release new vision, but you've been crying about it way too long.
-
The Lord says there is a season for everything, but he also says that weeping should only endure how long, y'all?
-
For a night.
-
Yeah, I got some Bible folk in the house.
-
But he says, after the weeping, what?
-
Joy comes in the morning.
-
Can I prophetically declare that I just heard the Lord say that your night of weeping is about to come to an end?
-
Because we just sang a song that said, I don't have to see it.
-
And all I need is 200 worshipers in the room that you can see your deliverance before it comes.
-
You can see your deliverance before it shows up.
-
You can see your deliverance before it hit your mailbox.
-
I need some worshipers in the room that my worship is with expectation.
-
I celebrate God like the baby is already here.
-
I celebrate God like the elevation already hit.
-
I celebrate God like I done rung that bell, that atrium health, and already declared that I'm cancer free.
-
I need some worshipers today that don't mind giving God a praise with expectation.
-
Oh, come on now, we can do better than that.
-
God has been too good.
-
He's been too good.
-
But he says, The Lord is I'm gonna show you how to seek vision through your season of mourning, through a season of fasting, and then a season of prayer.
-
Family, I'm gonna tell you, there are numerous prayers in the Bible that you should study, not to necessarily copy, but to learn the essence of powerful prayers.
-
And one of those prayers I want you to add to your prayer repertoire is this prayer of Nehemiah.
-
So now Nehemiah, it's stuck on Nehemiah that he has to do something.
-
It's stuck on Nehemiah.
-
He doesn't know exactly what he has to do, but it's stuck on him that his hometown is destroyed.
-
And I'm talking to you because it's stuck on you that you got to do something with your family.
-
You the only one that's frustrated about the fact that the family is gone.
-
Everybody else seems to be going on with their business, but it's stuck on you.
-
You the only one that is stuck on that the church needs to pray more.
-
Everybody else can go on about their business, but it's it's stuck on you.
-
You you and this is what the Lord says you got to do when it's stuck on you.
-
Am I talking to the right people?
-
Is there anybody beside myself?
-
Is there anybody because I'm afraid now I stopped?
-
Is there anybody else beside me that got something that's stuck on you?
-
It could be your own family, it could be your own marriage, it could be your own children, it could be your own career, it could be your own business, it could be somebody's health, it could be something you saw on the news, but it is stuck on you no matter how you try to pull it off, or it just stuck on you.
-
Nehemiah said there's a prayer when it's stuck on you.
-
Look at Nehemiah's prayer.
-
Nehemiah begins to pray in Nehemiah, the first chapter, verse 5.
-
Because I want to tell you, men and women of God, it is not what you hear, it is not what you see, but it's about what you say.
-
We are people that believe in the power of the prophetic.
-
You remember not long ago, we talked about when God poured out his spirit on all flesh, and it was for all men and all of God's daughters to prophesy, to be able to speak.
-
And there are too many times I understand what you heard, but I didn't hear your milk, I didn't see your lips move.
-
If God's gonna show you calamity, but you ain't gonna say nothing about it, what's the point?
-
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, watch what Nehemiah said.
-
Then I said, Oh Lord, God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps his covenant of unfailing love with those who love him and obey his commands.
-
He says, Listen to my prayer.
-
The first thing that Nehemiah does is teaches us that if you are a visionary seeking vision for this next in your life, we have to go through the throne boldly.
-
He says, God, I know who you are, but I'm asking you to listen to my prayer.
-
Then he goes a little further.
-
He says, Look down on me.
-
Is there anybody else praying that today?
-
God, look down on me.
-
I get up every day and I say, God, look down on me.
-
That ought to be your prayer.
-
That when you before you go to bed and before you get up in the morning, Lord, look down on me.
-
And he said, Lord, when you look down on me, you you'll see me not complaining, Lord, but but Lord, if you look down on me, you'll you'll see me praying day and night.
-
Is there anybody in the room that if God was to look down on you at 11 55 tonight, would he find you complaining or would he find you in a posture of prayer?
-
If God were to look down on you, uh when they said no to the last job that you applied to, uh, would God see you complaining, or would he see you lifting up holy hands uh and thanking him for doors that have yet to open uh because apparently he has something better.
-
Nehemiah says, God, when you look down on me, you won't see me complaining, uh, you won't see me talking trash, uh, you won't see me wasting time, uh, you won't see me operating in fear, uh, but if you look down on me, uh, you will see me praying night and day.
-
Uh, and that's my ask for everybody in the room.
-
Uh, if you are a visionary, uh, this is the season where God should not be able to catch you slipping.
-
Uh, I want to talk to somebody in the room.
-
Uh, and I thank God for his grace because in reality I slip up too.
-
Uh, but in the next season of my life, uh, I can't have too many days, Elder Jamal.
-
Uh well, God has caught me slipping.
-
Uh uh.
-
You ought to tell somebody right now, uh, say don't let God catch you slipping.
-
Yeah.
-
Say don't let God catch you slipping.
-
Yeah.
-
Don't let in this season when he looked down on you, uh, you got to be ready for what's about to happen next.
-
Uh, you know, the next time God decides uh to pay me special attention, uh, I'm gonna be in the blocks and I'm gonna be ready.
-
Uh is there any track people in the room?
-
Uh you know, as a track star, uh, you gotta be ready before they pull the gun.
-
Uh you got to be in the blocks and you got to be ready.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I need about 75 visionaries in the room that say, God ain't gonna catch me slipping.
-
Uh-huh.
-
He ain't gonna catch me walking around the track.
-
Uh, he ain't gonna catch me stretching, uh, he ain't gonna catch me at the store trying to buy some cleats.
-
Uh I done done all of that.
-
Tell your neighbor I've done all of that.
-
Uh huh.
-
Tell the next time when God looks down, uh, he gonna find me in the block.
-
Uh huh.
-
He gon' find me ready to go.
-
I wish I had about 50 of y'all uh that are ready to go.
-
Some people still in the store, uh some people still with the personal trainer, uh-huh.
-
But you ain't like that.
-
Uh uh.
-
You ready to go, uh-huh.
-
You ready?
-
Somebody say, I'm ready, ready.
-
Uh-huh.
-
You gotta give God I'm ready, ready.
-
Oh my god.
-
I see some runners in the room.
-
Uh-huh.
-
Oh my God.
-
Some runners in the room.
-
Uh-huh.
-
Stay ready.
-
Tell your seat, stay ready.
-
You gotta tell them, stay ready.
-
God is about to look on you.
-
God is about to smile on you.
-
God is about to put his hand on you.
-
You gotta tell him, stay ready.
-
Tell him, stay ready.
-
I don't know about you.
-
Stay ready.
-
I got to stay ready.
-
I got everybody else in the room.
-
So this time, God ain't gonna catch me.
-
This time, God ain't gonna catch me.
-
No, I'ma stay ready.
-
And when he prayed, uh, I want you to notice something.
-
And I found it to be very unusual.
-
When Nehemiah, as a visionary, uh, as he was ready for the move of God, uh, what I noticed uh is that his prayers uh were not for himself.
-
I noticed that he was praying for his people.
-
Uh can I remind you that the vision that the Lord is releasing into your life is not just for you, uh, it is mostly for the people connected to you.
-
Uh uh.
-
When I was gone over the last three weeks, I was praying for Chosen City Church.
-
Uh I was praying for everybody connected to this church.
-
Uh, and I said, Lord, let this vision come to pass uh so that you can use your people uh to accomplish your will in this earth.
-
Uh and now some of you uh is stuck to you uh uh so that you can bring it to pass, uh, so that you can be a blessing uh to everybody that's connected to you.
-
Uh and then he goes a little bit further.
-
Uh he confesses his sin to God.
-
Uh uh.
-
He says, Y'all, we all have sinned.
-
Uh uh.
-
I have sinned.
-
Uh, my family is sin.
-
Uh uh.
-
I wish I had some people in the room right now that'll say, Lord, I'm sorry for my sins.
-
Uh I wish you'd say that out loud.
-
Uh-huh.
-
Because God is going to do something.
-
Uh, when you confess your sins, uh, he's faithful and just to forgive your sins.
-
Uh, when you confess your sins, uh, your sins are removed from you.
-
Uh, as far as the east is from the west.
-
Uh now I want you to try it again.
-
Uh huh.
-
If you're like me and you've had some sinful thoughts, uh, just tell the Lord I apologize.
-
Uh huh.
-
If you're like me and you have some faithless nights, uh, just be like me and say, God, I messed up.
-
Uh-huh.
-
But Lord, I want you to use me again.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I feel a shift in the room.
-
Uh-huh.
-
Because some people are confessing their sins, uh, but some people holding back.
-
Uh huh.
-
God can't bless you while you're holding back.
-
Uh uh.
-
God already knows where you're laid and who you laid with.
-
Uh huh.
-
So you might as well confess it.
-
Uh huh.
-
He already knows what you put in your body.
-
Uh, so you might as well confess it.
-
Uh huh.
-
He already knows what tantalizes you.
-
Uh-huh.
-
So you might as well confess it.
-
Uh, he said there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus.
-
Uh, when you confess your sins, uh, I'll forgive your sins.
-
Uh huh.
-
Your load will get lighter, uh, your headache will go away.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I need some people in the room that don't mind looking to the heels from which cometh your help and tell God I did it.
-
Uh-huh.
-
But with the help of the Lord, uh, I won't go back to what you delivered me from.
-
Uh-huh.
-
And then he goes a little bit further.
-
Uh-huh.
-
He said, Lord, I need you to remember what you told your servant Moses.
-
Uh, I want to help a visionary in the room.
-
Uh-huh.
-
If you want God to give you a fresh deposit, uh-huh, you gotta learn to pray God's word and recite it back to him.
-
Uh-huh.
-
He started to remind God uh what he told Moses.
-
Uh he said, God, you told Moses uh that if the people were disobedient, uh, then the people will be spread away.
-
Uh-huh.
-
But you also told Moses, uh, if the people were to come back, uh, you'd bring them back by the power of your hand.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I don't know about you, family, uh, but I see some people coming back to God today because God brought you here for a divine appointment.
-
Uh, he brought you here because there's an assignment on your life.
-
Uh, he brought you here because he's about to use you uh in unusual ways.
-
Uh, but he says you gotta get closer to the fire.
-
And I want to talk to somebody in the back that God is saying, I'm bringing you back forward, uh, and your ladder shall be greater.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I'm bringing you back forward, and I'm gonna take you higher this time.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I'm bringing you back forward.
-
Don't worry about your past, uh, don't worry about your mistakes because the Lord has declared uh for the rest of your life, uh, you are in good hands.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I feel the help of the Lord right there.
-
I remember not long ago, uh, I told the visionaries in the room, uh, there gotta be a shift in how you talk to people.
-
Uh-huh.
-
The next time somebody asks you, uh, how are you doing?
-
Uh-huh, there can only be one response.
-
Uh-huh.
-
If you go to Chosen City Church, uh, the next time somebody asks you, uh, how is it going in your relationship?
-
Uh-huh.
-
There should only be one response.
-
Uh-huh.
-
If you are a member of this here church, uh, the answer has to be, ha ha ha, all is well, uh, because I'm in good hands, uh-huh, and I need to talk to some people in the room.
-
Uh-huh.
-
God has kicked you.
-
Uh-huh.
-
God has rescued you.
-
Uh-huh.
-
Don't I turn around for you?
-
Uh-huh.
-
Because you are in good hands.
-
Do I have any witnesses?
-
So when you look over the course of your life, you know that you're still here.
-
You know that you didn't take your whole life.
-
Because you are here.
-
I don't know about you.
-
But I've been through some stuff.
-
I've been through some good stuff.
-
I've been through some army stuff.
-
I've been through some police stuff.
-
I've been through some divorce stuff, through my parents' stuff.
-
I've seen my brothers go through stuff.
-
And in the midst of it all, uh, the reason I'm still standing, is because I find myself uh in good hands, uh-huh.
-
Y'all is some man in here.
-
Man of God.
-
I know who y'all are in this spirit, uh, but all the Lord says uh is the reason that you're still here, is because you are in good hands, uh huh.
-
And if every man that's in the room, uh-huh, that knowing that you got a last night, uh huh, and if every man that's in the room, uh-huh, that know that you had a last year, uh, but when you look at where you are today, uh-huh, you thank God, uh, because you are in good hands, uh, I need you to give God uh a good hands praise.
-
No, I need you to give God a good hands praise, uh from your foe, that's all from your bones.
-
I need you to give God a good hand praise.
-
What you gonna hold?
-
What you like what you did?
-
I don't know what to do.
-
And in his prayer, like this, there was something that started to shift.
-
And Nehemiah prayed, he mourned, he fasted, because there will be a season of fasting required for you, visionary, where you turn away from other things to focus on God.
-
God is going to do something, He is going to download a fresh vision into your life.
-
Y'all sit down, we will be done, we'll be done.
-
We'll be on the IT and by 10.
-
We almost done.
-
Here it is.
-
I need y'all to see this.
-
I want y'all to see a shift that happens in Nehemiah's prayer.
-
Verse 10, he's still praying.
-
He says, The people you rescue by your great power and your strong hands are your servants.
-
And then verse 11, he says, Oh Lord, please hear my prayer.
-
Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you.
-
Watch this.
-
Here's the shift.
-
Please grant me success today by making the king favorable to me.
-
Put it into his heart to be kind to me.
-
I need y'all to see that shift that happens.
-
I need y'all to understand, at first it was just a problem that was stuck to Nehemiah.
-
But in the middle of his prayers, God downloads the game plan.
-
You say, Where is it?
-
Show it to me.
-
It's invisible because sometimes God will show you stuff that we release to the world too quickly.
-
But I know it's here, and I'm gonna show you how you can see it.
-
Look carefully at verse 11.
-
He says this, Oh Lord, please hear my prayers.
-
Listen to the prayers of those of us who delight in honoring you.
-
Period.
-
Here come the shift, it's right after the period.
-
The download comes between that period after the you and the next word, please.
-
It's invisible because at the time it wasn't for everybody to see.
-
Now, watch and look at what he says after the first part.
-
Listen what he says.
-
He says, Please grant me success today by making the king favorable to me.
-
Before, all he was talking about was the problem.
-
Somewhere in his prayers, he recognized that he was the answer to the problem.
-
And it's evident because his prayer has shifted, saying, Well, since God gotta go, I'm asking for favor.
-
Y'all walking with me?
-
I want to prophesy this to you that God is about to speak to some of you all this week.
-
Somebody say this week.
-
He's gonna speak to you this week, and suddenly your prayer is going to shift because he's gonna show you what you have to do, he's gonna show you what you have to do, and since you gotta do it, your only response is to start praying for favor.
-
Because what you got to do is bigger than you.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
What God put in this book is bigger than me.
-
So as soon as God showed it to me, Pastor Al, all I could do is start asking for favor.
-
God, I can't do this by myself.
-
So, God, I need some favor.
-
Is there anybody else in the room that say you got a supersized assignment that you can't do this by yourself?
-
So the only thing I can add, if I gotta do it, God, if I gotta fight the bully, God, if if I gotta fight Goliath, God, put a little favor on my slate shot.
-
And I want to tell you that when you pray like this, there's some favor that's released.
-
Men and women of God, but I want to show you something, it's about to come clear in your life, why you are where you are, as there's been a shift in Nehemiah's life, and he's now starting to ask for favor.
-
It's about to make sense to Nehemiah why he's in the position that he was in.
-
You see, Nehemiah was the cup bearer to the king.
-
A cup Bible bearer in those times was a close person to the king.
-
They would speak to the king often, but they would also taste the food to make sure that the food, the king's food wasn't poison.
-
They had a job that was ugly, but it did have some benefits.
-
They lived in the palace, and where the king went, they went.
-
But even though he was in a season of bondage, he it became clear to him why he was in the position that he was in.
-
It's about to become clear to some of you all why you're in a job you don't like.
-
It's about to become clear to some of you all why you're in that messy family that you're in.
-
Amen, somebody.
-
You know it's messy, I know it's messy.
-
All of God's children know his messy.
-
We know it's messy because I was his messy too.
-
But it's about to be clear to you because what became clear to Nehemiah is God positioned Nehemiah there for a time such as this.
-
You gotta realize that if Nehemiah wasn't the cupbearer, when God gave Nehemiah the vision to go rebuild the hometown, Nehemiah would not have had access to the king if he was not in the position of cupbearer.
-
Can I talk to the Uber drivers in the room and the DoorDashers in the room?
-
I know you keep asking yourself, why am I doing this job in light of my experience?
-
Why am I doing this job in light of uh what I see for my own life?
-
Because the Lord is saying, somebody's about to get in your car.
-
There's a door that you're gonna knock on, and it's about to come clear why I've had you doing what you're doing.
-
It ain't about the door dashing, it ain't about the Ubering, it's about positioning.
-
Somebody else says about positioning.
-
God has positioned so many of you visionaries, and you've gotten frustrated because you don't understand why you are where you are.
-
But the Lord told me to tell you, hold on us a little while longer.
-
Matter of fact, can you encourage somebody?
-
Just tell them, hold on a little while longer, hold on to real, and even from the country, say hold right still.
-
Say, hold right still, hold, hold right still.
-
Don't tell them, don't give up just yet, don't give up just yet.
-
It's about to come clear.
-
And I want to let you know that you are in a position that you are in because God is about to use you supernaturally for a time such as this.
-
You are in the position that you are in, chosen city, because you have been positioned for a time such as this.
-
But but let me tell you the problem that Nehemiah had, and the problem that some of you have when God releases a vision because of the urgency of now, waiting is not an option.
-
There are a couple of young adults in the room.
-
Right over here.
-
God said waiting is not an option.
-
God gave Nehemiah this burden that stuck to him in the month of Kishlev, November, December.
-
He carried that burden before he ever talked to the king for at least four months.
-
To the month of Nisan.
-
He got this in a crew, he got this around Thanksgiving, if you will.
-
Now here it is, spring fling.
-
He ain't did a doggone thing yet.
-
I want some of y'all to go back to May.
-
I am in the spirit.
-
You go look at your emails, you go look at your text, you look at your notes.
-
What did God tell you in May that you ain't moved on yet?
-
What did he tell you?
-
Because the Bible says by the time Nehemiah got into the presence of the king, he was in a sincere state of depression.
-
He was depressed because there is nothing more depressing than knowing on the inside that there's something that needs to shift, and you ain't did what it takes to shift it.
-
Y'all know that we believe in counseling here.
-
We got some of the best counselors in the world at this church.
-
I praise God for them.
-
And we believe in you being you got a good doctor and taking medicine and all those things.
-
At the same time, there's not a counselor, and there's not a pill or a shot you can take when you're depressed because you're being disobedient to God.
-
And the only thing them drugs are doing is just numbing it for a little while.
-
But your spirit and your soul is broken because you know it's something that you're supposed to do and you ain't did it yet.
-
And I got a news flash for you, visionary.
-
The longer you take to do it, the more depressed you're gonna be.
-
Nehemiah had waited so long that when the king saw him, depression almost killed him.
-
Did y'all know that?
-
In that in those times, there was a rule that nobody could be in front of the king's presence and be depressed or have a down countenance.
-
Because some of them almost saw a king as a mini god.
-
And the thought process was what in the world are you thinking about that overshadows the happiness that you're supposed to have in the presence of the king?
-
That's why when you see them old movies and the king step out, everybody, I mean everybody, long live the king, long live the king, long live the king, king, king, because it was a death sentence.
-
Y'all understand?
-
It was a death sentence to be in the king's presence and not be happy.
-
Depression almost killed Nehemiah because his depression got so bad he couldn't hide it no more.
-
Oh, I want to speak to somebody in the room that your depression trying to kill you, and it got so bad you can't even hide it no more.
-
Help me, Holy Ghost.
-
Will y'all start praying?
-
I see some women, I see some people that that the depression is so bad they can't even hide it no more.
-
But I want to let you know that you're in the right house.
-
You are here for a time such as this.
-
You're in the right space.
-
We believe in miracle signs and wonders.
-
You didn't come here today just to hear about vision.
-
No, you came here today because God has said He is not gonna allow depression to kill you.
-
I want to say it.
-
Say it out loud.
-
Say depression will not kill you.
-
Can y'all just say that to the atmosphere?
-
Say depression will not kill you.
-
I'm sorry, y'all must don't believe that people come to church depressed.
-
Y'all must don't believe that somebody came in here with suicidal thoughts.
-
So I need y'all to say it as if you're about to rescue somebody's life.
-
I need you to make a sound today that's about to rescue somebody.
-
You better save somebody in the day.
-
You better say it like you mean it.
-
Your depression will not kill you.
-
We are here to snatch you out of the hands of the enemy.
-
We call you back, we call you back, we call you back, we call your joy back, we call your peace back, we call your hope back.
-
But bring it back, God, bring it back, bring it back, bring it back in Jesus' name.
-
When we pray like that, everything begins to shift.
-
So he's in front of the king and he's depressed.
-
And really, that's the first favor that we've done is four favors.
-
Number one, real quick.
-
I just told you.
-
In this season of the favor that's about to go ahead of you, the first favor is what the enemy meant for evil, God is going to use for good.
-
The enemy meant for that depression to kill Nehemiah.
-
That's why, if you look at the text, when the king exposed him for being sad, look at the text.
-
It says Nehemiah was what?
-
He was terrified because he had been exposed and he knew that the sentence was death.
-
But I'm trying to tell you that God is about here's the first favor for you.
-
It's just for him, we're going home.
-
Favor number one the Lord is about to use what the enemy meant for evil and turn it for your good.
-
It was the fact that Nehemiah looked depressed that made the king ask him a question.
-
There's a second favor that's released here.
-
The second favor is that Nehemiah was blessed with time.
-
I want you to notice that God is about to bless you with time.
-
Can I unpack?
-
You got enough time on women.
-
You got no time.
-
The enemy has been used you don't have enough time to go to school.
-
You don't have enough time to do what it is that you're trying to do.
-
Let me have letters.
-
Release it for you as you do for your house.
-
You worry about who they come safe.
-
You worried about who made come again.
-
And the little brother says, I know sometimes you feel somewhat tired.
-
But he didn't bring you this far.
-
Just to leave you.
-
I read the closing part of the letter.
-
And it says that the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.
-
And I'm here to testify to you that the Lord told me to tell you that you're going to get there fast and you're going to get there safely.
-
I wish I had some people that could praise God for safe travels.
-
Because the Lord is your shepherd.
-
And you shall not walk.
-
And even though you may have to travel through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil.
-
Because the Lord is with you.
-
You ought to say that out loud.
-
The Lord is with me.
-
When I go into a bank, the Lord is with me.
-
When I go into a courtroom, the Lord is with me.
-
When I go into the highways, the Lord is with me.
-
When I start a new venture, the Lord is with me.
-
But there's a fourth favor that the Lord is about to release.
-
And God is saying that He's about to release timber.
-
Did you hear what I said?
-
God is saying that I'm about to release timber.
-
Look at verse 8.
-
And he says, please, King, I need you to talk to your financial manager.
-
I need you to talk to ASAP.
-
You know the one that manages your trees.
-
And I need you to ask him to give me some timber.
-
You see, I'll need the timber to rebuild the gates.
-
I'll need the timber to rebuild the temple.
-
I thought y'all would walk with me because apparently you don't need timber.
-
But I don't know about you.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I need some timber.
-
Let me give you the Bible.
-
As it relates to timber.
-
Whenever God is about to build something, uh, and you look in the scriptures, uh-huh, there's always a release of timber.
-
You see, timber symbolizes uh material wealth.
-
Timber symbolizes uh divine provision.
-
Uh-huh.
-
Because wherever there is vision, uh, there's always provision.
-
Uh-huh.
-
Timber resembles and symbolizes uh overflow.
-
Uh-huh.
-
Did you hear what I said?
-
Uh-huh.
-
For the vision that God has given you, uh, you don't have to worry about how, uh, because the Lord has declared uh there'll be more than enough.
-
Uh-huh.
-
And I want to declare that prophetically, uh-huh.
-
For every person that's in the room, uh-huh, that God has cut down some timber and it has your name on it.
-
Uh-huh.
-
There's some timber that's coming your way for the thing that you're trying to birth.
-
Uh-huh.
-
And I know everybody in the room may not be an entrepreneur, uh-huh.
-
But God has you in a position, uh-huh.
-
And I'm hoping to let you know, uh-huh, that timber is on the way.
-
Uh-huh.
-
You was worried about how, uh-huh.
-
But God said, don't worry about it.
-
Uh-huh.
-
There's a letter with your name on it.
-
Uh-huh.
-
And all you gotta do is show up, uh-huh.
-
And get your load, uh-huh.
-
Get the oh my god.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I wonder what would happen.
-
If the saints of God would just start showing up, uh-huh.
-
To get what God has already declared.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I wonder what would happen, uh-huh.
-
If the saints start showing up, uh-huh.
-
And get what God had already decreased.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I wish I had some people, uh-huh.
-
That'll thank God right now.
-
Uh-huh.
-
But super being over with.
-
Uh-huh.
-
You gotta praise God for what he's doing for you.
-
Uh-huh.
-
I want you to watch DMI, uh-huh.
-
He was bold enough to go to the king.
-
Uh, free somebody in the spirit.
-
Uh huh.
-
The Bible teaches us uh that when we go before the throne of grace, uh, we gotta go boldly.
-
That means, uh-huh.
-
When I ask God for something, uh huh, I ask with great expectations.
-
I'll be visionary in the room, uh-huh.
-
You gotta ask God with great expectations.
-
Now, if you can master asking God with great expectations, uh next time you walk into that bank, you gotta walk in that bank like you own that race.
-
You gotta walk in that bank like you expect a loan.
-
You gotta walk in that bank like you expect a good race, huh?
-
You gotta walk in that job that do like it's already yours.
-
Why you a chicken when it comes to asking everybody else?
-
I'm gonna say it one more time.
-
You gotta talk to everybody else like you expected something, huh?
-
Somebody gotta go to the doctor this week.
-
You gotta talk to that doctor, uh-huh.
-
Expect God to use you.
-
Expect God to do the supernatural.
-
I need some people to go bowling, huh?
-
Because when we go bowling, uh-huh, I want you to see what's released.
-
Watch this, y'all, uh huh.
-
And I'm about to go to my seat, uh-huh.
-
When we go bowling, when we go bowling, watch this.
-
When we go bowling, the king gets excited.
-
Watch this.
-
The king got excited about what Neil Mah was about to do.
-
The king needed the most for the king got so excited.
-
Because he was excited, and that Nehemiah was excited.
-
And he said, Nehemiah, I'm so excited for your future.
-
That I'm gonna send my army with you when you go.
-
Listen, there's some people in the room that's something that you didn't even pray for.
-
But the Lord need, no, you're gonna need it when you get to the other side.
-
You see, the Lord knew that that that Nehemiah was gonna have to deal with some sin ballots and some Tobias.
-
There were some people that was against the vision, but God had already gone ahead, and I want to prophesy in this house.
-
I got some good news for you.
-
God is about to release something into your life that you didn't even pray for.
-
Lord have mercy.
-
I wish I had some faith walkers.
-
I'm gonna try to help you to catch what I'm throwing.
-
You didn't even know to pray for it, but God loved you enough to give it to you anyway, and I want to let you know that it's coming.
-
Now you gotta have a different type of faith.
-
Take me up, Chris.
-
I I take me up, Chris.
-
I ain't dragging you, dragging me, take me up.
-
You gotta have a different type of faith to praise God for something that you don't even know that you need.
-
You gotta have a different type of faith to celebrate God.
-
Lord, have mercy.
-
Oh, I feel the Holy Ghost now.
-
It's the back of the pumpkin.
-
It's about the pumpkin.
-
It's about to become clear.
-
It's about to become clear in your life.
-
It's about to become clear in your life.
-
Why you had to go through a season of kids left and be in darkness.
-
It's about to become clear in your life while you are in the position that you're in.
-
It's about to become clear in your life while that certain thing is stuck to you.
-
It's about to become clear in your life.
-
God's game plan for you to fix it, and it's about to come clear in your life that favor is in front of you, favor is on you, and favor is behind you.
-
Lord have mercy, it's clear to me now.
-
Lord have mercy, it's clear to me now that favor is in front of me.
-
Favor is behind me, and favor is all over me.
-
Lord have mercy, it's the full to me now.
-
It's what don't put it to me now.
-
It's what put to me now.
-
It's the fucking now.
-
I don't know why I don't do that.
-
But Lord, I stayed in the spirit now.
-
I stayed in the spirit now, God I thought that way.
-
But I thank you for being with me, but I had to go that way.
-
I didn't want it to be like that, but Lord He was with me every step of the way.
-
I give you praise.
-
I give you praise.
-
I give you praise.
-
Every visionary in the room, every visionary in the room, every visionary in the room, every visionary in the room, every visionary in the room.
-
I give you praise.
-
Every visionary in a room.
-
This song that they're playing softly right there is a testimony song for me.
-
Yep, I play it often.
-
Cause I've had a lot of mountains and I've had a lot of valleys.
-
But for this I give you praise.
-
For every blessing.
-
Y'all catch that with us.
-
Let's catch it.
-
For every time you see me.
-
For this for every mouth.
-
You brought me out.
-
I give you a give you praise.
-
I give you both.
-
I give you pray.
-
You pray.
-
Every single trial.
-
Every single trial.
-
You sing a trip.
-
We say hallelujah.
-
I give you praise.
-
There's a clarion call in the room.
-
For every person that is not connected to a church home to get connected today.
-
There's a call in the room.
-
If the Spirit spoke to you, my words are just confirming.
-
They're not the first time you're hearing it.
-
I'm just confirming.
-
I need a couple other ministers and elders to come walk with me.
-
Chosen City, check on the person next to you.
-
And say, Will you come dream with me?
-
Be a part of this vision.
-
Will you be a come be a part of what God is about to do next?
-
Listen.
-
There are some new dreamers, some new visionaries.
-
And there's some new people that want to get connected to Christ.
-
Celebrate God right now and say, Welcome to the family.
-
Welcome to the family.
-
Say it out loud, welcome to the family.
-
Y'all keep checking on your people.
-
I literally will ask.
-
If you're a partner here, you turn to somebody and just ask.
-
Say welcome to the family.
-
Whenever somebody moves, we welcome them.
-
This is the best day of their life in Jesus' name.
-
Welcome them to the family.
-
Turn and ask, do you have a church on?
-
Ask them, ask them.
-
Be bold.
-
Say we need you.
-
Tell them we need you.
-
We unashamedly need you.
-
We need you.
-
Tell them we need you.
-
There's a gift in you.
-
And if you come here, we're gonna sharpen the gift.
-
There's somebody that needs to just get rededicated to Christ.
-
If you've never been baptized, well, you need to be rededicated.
-
Come on, say welcome to the family.
-
Praise God, welcome to the family.
-
Welcome to the family.
-
Look at our teenage leaders bringing down one of their friends.
-
Somebody say welcome to the family.
-
Welcome to the family.
-
There's somebody here today.
-
There's somebody today.
-
Check on them.
-
I'm telling you, I didn't even go through the 40 pages of the vision book.
-
Cause you you'll do that tonight, and you can bring your questions.
-
But when y'all see what God has called us to do, you'll recognize that we need everybody.
-
Check on them.
-
I don't believe God sent them here on the day.
-
Then we're supposed to be connected.
-
Check on them.
-
There are a few more people that need to get connected today.
-
There are a few more people that need to get connected today.
-
The door to the house of God stands open.
-
Y'all checking on your people.
-
Tell them you don't want word.
-
If the Holy Spirit is, if you're wrestling with the Spirit, try God today.
-
Just try.
-
Try a new church today.
-
Just try.
-
Just try.
-
Just try.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
For those of you who are partners, we need you in this season.
-
We need your prayers.
-
We need your service.
-
We're not doing it for me, we're doing it for you.
-
We're doing it for the glory of God.
-
And it's going to get done together in Jesus' name.
-
Somebody say it will work.
-
Say it will work.
-
It will work.
-
I'm going into the warrior.
-
And I'm going to put one of these in everybody's hands.
-
But as I'm doing that, I want to give a few more people an opportunity to say yes.
-
No pressure, it's just urgent.
-
Does that make sense?
-
We need you.
-
We need you.
-
Yeah, we need no pressure, it's just urgent.
-
Tell them that look at them and say, it's just urgent, it's just urgent.
-
Tell them, it's just urgent, it's just urgent.
-
You got time to be window shopping, it's just urgent.
-
You got something you got an oil on you.
-
You have a grace on you.
-
It's just urgent.
