  1. A couple of Bible verses I want to read to start with.

  2. And the first one is Luke 10 and verse 19, and it's from the Amplified Version of the Bible.

  3. And it says, listen carefully, I have given you authority that you now possess.

  4. Did you get that? You have authority that you now possess.

  5. I have given you authority that you now possess.

  6. Just keep that up there, Josh, because I just want to talk about that a little bit.

  7. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

  8. So if he says, I've given you authority, it means he's given us authority that we now possess.

  9. And it says to tread on serpents and scorpions and the ability to exercise authority

  10. over all the power of the enemy, Satan, and nothing will in any way harm you.

  11. And then there's John 14 and verse 12, and it says, I assure you.

  12. And most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in me as Savior will also do the things that I do.

  13. And he will do even greater things than these in extent and outreach.

  14. Because I'm going to the Father. In extent and outreach, we will do greater things.

  15. We will do greater things here. But through what we have, we will do greater things even further.

  16. Than what Jesus did. It's his words. And I believe the Holy Spirit wants me

  17. to share with you today what I want to call the power trinity, the power trinity.

  18. And the power trinity, I believe, is three things.

  19. Trinity is faith, anointing, and authority.

  20. And if you want an acronym, If you want the acronym, it's FAA.

  21. Faith, Anointing, and Authority.

  22. And if I were to ask you today, how many want to have a more effective Christian life?

  23. If I were to ask you, how many want to have more power in your life as a Christian?

  24. Good. If I were to ask you, how many want to see more manifestation of the power of God in your life?

  25. Just keep your hands up. That's what I reckon.

  26. If I were to ask you, how many want to lay hands on the sick and see them recover?

  27. Yeah. If I were to ask you, how

  28. many want to know that when you tell the devil to get out, he has to go?

  29. Yeah. And if I were to ask you these questions today, how many would say,

  30. you're talking to me right now?

  31. Good. Well, I am asking you those questions today.

  32. And while I am asking these questions of you, I'm also asking those questions of myself.

  33. I can't speak for you all, but I can certainly speak for myself.

  34. And I want the full measure, the full manifestation of the power of God that's available to me. Amen?

  35. To make it crystal clear, crystal clear, if God has revealed it to us in the Bible, I want it.

  36. It's something that stirs me and concerns me.

  37. Something that stirs me and concerns me and should concern all of us is when we look in the Bible,

  38. we look in the Bible and we see such a great disparity or difference from what

  39. God describes as the normal Christian life to what in comparison and contrast

  40. is to what we call the normal Christian life.

  41. There's a big difference, I believe, and it concerns me and it stirs me up.

  42. When I look in the Bible, when I read my Bible, when you read your Bible,

  43. I see the normal Christian life being healing the sick, cleansing the lepers, and casting out devils.

  44. That's what I see when I read the Bible.

  45. In the Bible, I see as the normal Christian life as setting captives free, opening blind eyes.

  46. Unstopping deaf ears, yokes being destroyed, bondages, habits,

  47. and addictions being taken away and evil desires being destroyed and prisoners being set free.

  48. That's what I read when I, that's what I see when I read the Bible.

  49. Now I know it's a little bit scary and this is reaching out there a little bit,

  50. but I have to ask you, isn't that what you see when you read in the Bible,

  51. when you read the Bible? Isn't that what you see?

  52. Isn't that what it says in the Bible? Am I being true to the scriptures when

  53. I read all that out to you?

  54. When I say these things, even though the scriptures challenge us and reveal

  55. where we fall short, it doesn't mean that we ignore that, okay?

  56. Doesn't mean that we should ignore them or dismiss them as something beyond

  57. our reach or unattainable.

  58. When we read those, We shouldn't dismiss them as being not available to us, should we?

  59. On the contrary, it should stir us up. It should stir us up. It should fire us up.

  60. We should get inspired by it. It should challenge us. It should convict us.

  61. Who read their Bible this week?

  62. Good. It should fire you up. It should fire you up and inspire you. It should convict you.

  63. It should make us want to reach and stretch and get a hold of what belongs to

  64. us because it does belong to us.

  65. Remember those two Bible verses I read right at the beginning.

  66. God's given it to us. Why would we want to settle for anything less than God's best?

  67. Why would we settle for less joy in our lives, less peace in our lives,

  68. less prosperity in our lives. Why would we settle for it?

  69. Why would we settle for less power in our lives?

  70. Paul talked about a life that was reaching and stretching and pressing,

  71. but never satisfied, never satisfied.

  72. To many believers, that's a strange concept because so many have become comfortable

  73. and adjusted and very satisfied right where they are.

  74. And one of the greatest operations of the word of God and the power of the Holy

  75. Spirit is to stir up our hearts and the hearts of God's people, a passion, a hunger,

  76. a thirst, and a desire to go further, to rise higher in our lives,

  77. to dive deeper and to experience the power and the glory of God in ever-increasing amounts.

  78. One of the saddest things, one of the saddest things that can ever happen to

  79. a believer or a body of believers or a church is to reach the level of comfort

  80. and to become satisfied with where you're at and adjusted to where you're at.

  81. I never want to live in the land of being satisfied.

  82. I really don't. Being thankful, grateful, appreciative.

  83. Yes, a thousand times I want to live in that.

  84. I can never fully express my thankfulness and my gratitude and my appreciation

  85. for what God has done in my life, for where God has bought me from and where God has put me,

  86. I am so thankful, but I'm not satisfied and we shouldn't be satisfied with where we are.

  87. As a matter of fact, I have within my heart and within my soul.

  88. A divine dissatisfaction that has been planted there by the Holy Spirit.

  89. You're saying, Tim, that the Holy Spirit would plant in our hearts a divine

  90. dissatisfaction? It's exactly what I'm saying.

  91. If you allow the Holy Spirit to have a way in your life, he will always plant

  92. within your spirit and within your soul a divine dissatisfaction,

  93. a pressing, a hunger, a passion and a desire to see more and more and more.

  94. Are you following me? It's what the Holy Spirit wants for us.

  95. Not a single one of us that have reached a full measure of our potential. Not a single one of us.

  96. Not a single one of us have stepped into the fullness of our purpose.

  97. Not a single one of us. Not a single one of us have plumbed the depths of the

  98. glory and the power of the Holy Spirit. Not a single one of us.

  99. I've been in prayer, and I've been in meditation, and I've been feeling a stirring

  100. in my spirit concerning three things that are critical in reaching the place

  101. of God's calling, and they are faith,

  102. anointing, and authority,

  103. the power trinity, I'm calling them, faith, anointing, and authority.

  104. They are three separate things, yes, they are three separate things,

  105. but they are so interconnected and so interwoven that they really don't work separately.

  106. That's why I call it the power trinity. That's why it's called the power trinity.

  107. Faith, anointing, and authority.

  108. I can talk to you about faith and the necessity and the importance of faith

  109. in your life. I can talk about how faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

  110. I can talk to you about how without faith, it's impossible to please God.

  111. I can talk to you about how your faith is visible to God by your actions.

  112. I can talk to you about all of that, but we've got a step beyond this.

  113. Faith is definitely a most critical element in our spiritual walk. It's most critical.

  114. And without faith, we're not going to go anywhere or do anything.

  115. Faith is like the fuse that connects between problem and power.

  116. If you have problems, there's power over there, over here, over that problem.

  117. What's in the middle? Our faith, our faith.

  118. Through faith, your faith, my faith, the power of God can flow to the problem

  119. and move the problem and destroy the problem.

  120. That's what faith can do. So let me start with faith, the first of this power trinity.

  121. Faith is an igniter.

  122. Faith is a catalyst and faith is a fuse.

  123. Nothing, absolutely nothing is going to happen in your favor without faith. It's important.

  124. Without faith, you're doomed to battle and struggle and fight through or climb

  125. over every mountain in your life in your own human strength without faith.

  126. But with faith, Jesus said that you can move that mountain out of your way and

  127. be cast into the sea, and it will be done by faith.

  128. And with faith, Jesus said, you can say to a tree to be plucked up by the roots

  129. and cast into the sea, and it will have to obey you if you have faith.

  130. Faith is the currency that's accepted in the kingdom of God.

  131. Faith is purchasing power.

  132. Jesus said, according to your faith, let it be done.

  133. When the woman with the issue of blood reached out and touched the hem of Jesus'

  134. garment, Jesus explained that it was her faith that had pulled the power of

  135. God from him and healed him.

  136. He said, somebody has touched me And I

  137. felt virtue leave me He wasn't talking about a physical or a natural touch He

  138. meant the touch of faith Her touch of faith ignited the power of God in Jesus

  139. And it flowed into her body Jesus said, daughter,

  140. your faith has made you whole That was an exchange of faith for power in her

  141. life Her faith was the fuse that connected her to the power and she received

  142. in proportion to her faith.

  143. Let's actually read this passage, Josh, if you can put it up for me.

  144. I've got it there for some reason. Nope.

  145. The one about the woman with his sure blood.

  146. Is it there? There we go. So it's Luke 8, 43 to 48, and it says,

  147. In the crowd that day was a woman who had suffered greatly for 12 years from

  148. slow bleeding, Even though she had spent all she had on healers,

  149. she was still suffering.

  150. Pressing in through the crowd, pressing in through the crowd,

  151. she came up behind Jesus and touched the tassel of his prayer shawl.

  152. Instantly, her bleeding stopped and she was healed.

  153. Jesus suddenly stopped and said to his disciples, Someone touch me. Who was it?

  154. Or who is it? While they all denied it, Peter pointed out, Master,

  155. everyone is touching you, trying to get close to you.

  156. The crowds are so thick we can't walk through all these people without being jostled.

  157. Jesus said, yes, but I felt power surge through me. Someone touched me to be

  158. healed and they received their healing.

  159. When the woman realized she couldn't hide any longer, she came and fell trembling at Jesus' feet.

  160. Before the entire crowd she declared i was

  161. desperate to touch you jesus for i knew if i could just even touch the fringe

  162. of your robe i would be healed jesus responded beloved daughter your faith in

  163. me has released your healing you may go it with my peace it's a great passage.

  164. Jesus said, daughter, your faith has made you whole. That was an exchange of faith for power.

  165. Her faith was the fuse that connected her to the power and she received in proportion to her faith.

  166. Here's another one. Remember the man with his four friends that carried him

  167. on top of the building and tore the roof off in order to drop him down in front of Jesus.

  168. The Bible says Jesus seeing their faith their faith healed the man.

  169. Faith from all five of those men connected them to the power of God and the lame man was healed.

  170. My faith, your faith is a power connection.

  171. My faith and your faith is purchasing power.

  172. My faith is real. Your faith is real. My faith is tangible.

  173. Your faith is and our faith is visible.

  174. Faith is not a miracle only obtainable or accessible to certain people.

  175. Faith is supernatural. Faith is accessible and available to everyone because

  176. it comes the same way to everyone.

  177. Romans 10, 17 says, so then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

  178. Faith comes by hearing the word of God.

  179. Faith stays by hearing the word of God.

  180. But for faith to grow, it has to work. Faith works by hearing,

  181. believing, and speaking.

  182. Faith without works is dead.

  183. All of these things, in order to do the works that Jesus did,

  184. we not only have to have faith, but we also have to have power.

  185. Don't miss this. It's actually not the faith.

  186. This is going to sound a little bit controversial as I say it.

  187. It's not faith that heals the sick or casts out devils or delivers the bound and the oppressed.

  188. It's the power of God or the anointing that does the work.

  189. But faith is what connects us to the anointing.

  190. Faith is the channel through which the anointing flows in our lives.

  191. Look at this. It doesn't matter how much power is available to you.

  192. It doesn't accomplish anything if you don't know how to access it and you access it through faith.

  193. We access the benefits, the blessings, and the anointing through faith.

  194. What healed that woman that day? What healed that woman that day with the issue of blood?

  195. The answer is it was the power and the authority and the anointing that flowed from Jesus.

  196. But that anointing flowed from Jesus to her through the channel or the touch of her faith.

  197. That's why Jesus said, daughter, your faith has made you whole. Josh, come on up for me.

  198. All right, I'm going to close. We're going to continue this next year.

  199. But it says, what I want to say is, whatever you or I need today,

  200. the power of God will provide.

  201. But it will not only be manifested in your life and mine in proportion to your faith and my faith.

  202. It will only be manifested in your life and mine by the manifest,

  203. by the power that's in the proportion to your faith and my faith.

  204. Faith is like an invisible hand.

  205. It's like an invisible hand that reaches into the invisible realm of the kingdom

  206. of God and takes a hold of the invisible power of God and pulls it back into the natural.

  207. And in your healing, your miracle and your breakthrough occurs.

  208. So many times the power of God is present.

  209. All the time, the power of God is present, hovering all around us.

  210. But the hand of faith is all shriveled up from inactivity and lack of use.

  211. We need to use our faith.

  212. We need to use our faith. I believe that Jesus is saying to us today the same

  213. thing that He said to the man in the synagogue with the withered hand.

  214. He's saying, stretch out your hand.

  215. Stretch out your hand of faith. Activate your faith.

  216. Stir up your faith. Get your faith back online.

  217. Nothing's going to happen for you and me until we get our faith back online.

  218. That's where I'm going to stop. You'll have to wait till after Christmas to hear the end of it.

  219. It's alright.

  220. Music.

  221. I'm going to touch more on the authority that's available to us.

  222. But Lord, right now, I just pray, Father, in Jesus' name, that you raise up our faith.

  223. Raise up our faith levels. Help us to stretch out our hands of faith to do some work.

  224. Stretch out our hands of faith to activate the power that's available to us. We have that authority.

  225. You said we've been given the authority to do a lot of things, to do all things.

  226. And Lord, we need to activate that power and that faith that will activate that power in our lives.

  227. So I pray now, Lord Jesus, that you would reinforce to each and every one of

  228. us. as we go into this week.

  229. As we go into this week, that it's our faith that activates the power in our

  230. lives that will provide the breakthrough that we need.

  231. I've spoken to people earlier today who've had a tough week.

  232. Well, I pray in Jesus' Name that You would activate the faith in our lives that

  233. will cause the power of God to come into our hands,

  234. to break that yoke that causes us to have not such a good week.

  235. But this week will be great. This will be a great week for all of us as we move

  236. in with the faith of God in our lives, with the faith of God in our hearts, to do good, to overcome,

  237. to do all those things in the Bible that are described as being the normal Christian

  238. life, for us to go into the normal Christian life and to overcome and to break through.

  239. Lord, even to touch the sick and see them healed.

  240. All of those things, Lord God, we do by the power of our faith that's available to us.

  241. So Lord, we claim hold of that this morning. I claim hold of that in my life.

  242. And I pray, Lord, that everyone here and everyone listening in will do the same

  243. thing, that they will claim hold of the faith and the power of God that's available

  244. to us that we're authorised to use.

  245. I pray for that in Jesus' Name.

  246. Lord, touch every person here

  247. right now. Give them a touch of the Holy Spirit right now to overcome,

  248. to break through, to see results, to activate their faith level right now in Jesus' name.

  249. I bless you all with the power of faith in your life to see results.

  250. Music.

  251. Faith to see that mountain moved,

  252. faith to see that wickedness leaving your life, faith to see and to overcome

  253. everything that's touching your life that should not be there.

  254. I pray over you in Jesus' name and I bless you all in Jesus' name.

  255. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord.

  256. Music.
