Joy listening to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the Week. We hope you enjoy
-
this message from Justin Carpenter with us, and I've i asked Richard if he
-
would be willing to come and at hearing a little bit and pray for rain
-
and put a blessing over the house, and they thankfully said yes to the
-
invitation. We're honored that y'all are here. Thank you so much for being
-
here. So last our trip with Cole was like this really crazy whole prophetic
-
swirl, and I want to kind of that theme with prophetic words and stuff.
-
I want to try to quickly set up what I'm about to talk on
-
because this kind of came out of that that trip. So not this past
-
Thursday, the thursday before we left to take our firstborn off to an internship
-
in Fort Mill, South Carolina. And it's it's a real spiritual hub there.
-
I mean, there's Morning Star Ministries, there's the shob Dost Ministries,
-
Jeremiah Johnson's in that area. You have Moravian Falls, which anybody ever heard
-
of? Aravian Falls. It's like just a crazy open heaven there. Bobby
-
Connor has a house there now and anyways, that whole place. So we
-
we get in Thursday, and we get into Cole's apartment and Bonnie comes and
-
she brings a dinner for us. It's not low carbs, so I I
-
broke my carbs and uh, but it tasted amazing. And all of a
-
sudden, she had pulled this bottle out and it fell over. It was
-
just standing there and it just fell over and the thing exploded the bottom of
-
it blew out, and we're like, well, that's weird because that doesn't
-
happen. And then all of a sudden, a little bit later, now
-
this isn't necessarily abnormal of you know, coal but heat, because Cole and
-
Lisa have this anointing for clumsiness and uh and and Cole cool. So Cole
-
spills sauce all over the countertop in this brand new apartment that they furnished and
-
everything, and and then something else happened. Then the next morning, I
-
go down to the gym that they've got, like this new gym, and
-
I'm I'm my third round. And I go to do a rep on the
-
leg press and the leg press machine snaps the cable. So I go downstairs
-
and I give him the I show him the picture. I'm like, yeah,
-
I'm really sorry. I broke broke your leg press and uh and they,
-
you know, they said, no big deal. So I go back
-
upstairs. I get ready and then I'm getting ready and I'm using hair spray.
-
I know there's not much hair up here, people, but I have
-
to use a little hairspray to hold this thing in place, you know what
-
I'm saying. And so and all of a sudden, this little travel hair
-
bottle goes show flying out of my hands. I'm like, what is going
-
on. I'm like, I'm ready to go in warfare mode over whatever's going
-
on with all this stuff. We go downstairs. Lisa and I go back
-
downstairs. I asked the lady about WiFi and I go, by the way,
-
I'm the one that broke the lake press. I apologize and she says,
-
oh, you're the one that brought the snake in. I go,
-
huh. I said, ma'am, I'm a pastor. I don't bring snakes.
-
I bring the presence to the Lord. And she started laughing. She
-
goes, no, as soon as you left, the snake came in.
-
I was like what. And she shows us this picture where there was a
-
snake in the fourier. So all this stuff swirling and breaking and shaking up
-
all around us, and I'm like, well, that's crazy. And so
-
we leave. We go shopping. I get cold of coffee grinder because y'all
-
know that's super important, and uh, and I ran out of beans.
-
I bought some new beans from a good shop there, and I turned the
-
deal on and I get like halfway through and it literally just breaks. I'm
-
like, are you kidding me? And so that breaks. Well. Then
-
fast forward Sunday morning. We're there with with Bonnie and them, and and
-
Bonnie gives this prophetic word that I want to It's super short, it's under
-
a minute, but I kind of want to set this up. We'll give
-
me the mic and Jonathan, we turn this mic up for me when I
-
hit play. It's it's really important to us that we honor prophetic words.
-
Okay, and hear this word because it has to do with the body.
-
If it was just a personal word for me, I wouldn't share it right
-
now because it's you know, personal, But this is very much a word
-
that has to do with with the body. Okay. That's on from our
-
friends from Texas. Here this one, Okay, you want to encourage you.
-
The Lord gave me a word for you this morning, something that will
-
probably be very familiar to you. But during worship, I suddenly saw a
-
picture of you, and the Lord said, it's the breaker annointing that is
-
around two. And you know what that means. But it comes from Micah.
-
And so we loose the word of the Lord over you concerning the remnant.
-
God is raising up in this hour, and it says, I will
-
surely gather the remnant. I will put them together like sheep of the fold.
-
So we bless your pastoral ministry in this season. And the Remnant God
-
is gathering like a flock around you, like a flock in the midst of
-
their pasture. We prophesy over Kerville and over that region in South Texas and
-
Texas and East Texas and Knit Texas. We prophesy this pasture shall be green
-
and nourishing, and the sheep shall fatten, and they shall come into the
-
fold under the voice of the Shepherd. They shall make a loud noise because
-
of so many people. The one say, the one, the one who
-
breaks open, will come up before them. They will break out, pass
-
through the gate and go out by it, and their king will pass on
-
before them with the Lord at their head. So we bless you and Lisa
-
in this season, in your work and your exploits and all that the Lord
-
has. But the unusual events around you the last forty eight hours were a
-
sign of the glory that's on you, and it is the breaker anointing.
-
So we bless you. So y'all, Cross Kingdom has words about touching the
-
nation's Cross Kingdom has words about being stationed like a train station. We have
-
all these prophetic words over the years. These are words that we fight with
-
corporately. These are words that you that you're that you're to pray into.
-
And one of the biggest dangers we're in in this hour is because of all
-
the fluff and crap that's been so called prophecy, you begin to despise the
-
prophetic, You begin to despise the word of the Lord because there's so much
-
immaturity and so much false stuff. But the reality is, just like Paul
-
told Timothy says, don't despise prophecies. In fact, we're to use prophecies
-
to wage warfare. And when we lose that, you can actually ship wreck
-
your faith, the word says, And so I want to encourage' all.
-
We're in a very strategic hour a. We're transitioning into I believe that the
-
beginning of whatever this movement that's been prophesied over our region is going to look
-
like. And we're here, all of us for a purpose right now,
-
and we're not just taking up seats. And so I know it's our heart
-
as a leadership that y'all number one know who you are in him, and
-
number two you know what he's called you to do. And we lock arms
-
and we advanced the Kingdom together. That trip finished up with the plane breaking
-
on our from Dallas to bat We literally the plane was broke. The mechanic
-
was on there by the way mechanics use computers now, there was no wrenches
-
or anything. He's in the cockpit and then the pilot gets on thirty five
-
minutes later and goes, well, the mechanic thinks he fixed the power,
-
I mean, fix the problem. So we should be on our way.
-
And the issue was the plane was losing power. I'm like, the mechanic
-
thinks he fixed it, and I'm like, what power loss? Are we
-
talking about? Cabin lights? Engines, like, what's going on here?
-
People? I'm like, Lord, I think I'm done with the sign of
-
the breaker anointing right now. Can we can we please just get safely from
-
forty thousand feet back down? And y'all we even got to meet the Jimmy
-
remember from Tybernacle, the b guy that came on the Mahashian Bonnie's property.
-
The Lord told him to go to church that Sunday. He'd never been there
-
in a service, and he showed up and had no clue we were there.
-
We end up having lunch with him, and I get back to the
-
apartment and lo and behold, two bees come up out of nowhere and start
-
swirling all around me. I'm like, the whole trip was just I love
-
it. It was crazy. So in the midst of all that, finally
-
laying a long foundation for this detour, I was going to continue with the
-
clash of the kingdoms. But when I was there praying over Bonnie and them,
-
they I was praying for the ministry and I'd got i'd the Lord gave
-
me a vision over some stuff and and and I told her, I was
-
like, I really believed part of the there's been an attack like on a
-
Daniel where they created the image and you bowed to the image. Well,
-
that image was COVID during you know, in the last couple of years,
-
and people literally crumbled because of fear, the spirit of fear and uh.
-
And I was talking with Bonnie and Bonnie's like, well, we don't want
-
cowards, and I'm like, yeah, nope, I'm like we said we
-
don't want cowards either. As I was mulling over what the Lord had shown
-
me and I had talked to her about, I clearly heard the Lord say
-
something that surprised me, and it was there's Gideons and the cowards. And
-
so what that means, if that's too parabolic for you, is that I
-
believe wholeheartedly that in the midst of all these people that buckled to fear,
-
it's our job to find the Gideons and pull them out. Because Gideon wasn't
-
he wasn't a coward, Okay. And so I just want to talk to
-
you for a little bit this morning, prophetically on a call a call to
-
Gideon. Okay. So, Father, I just asked that you would bless
-
this time, that you'd bless this word and Lord that as we see the
-
spirit of fear manifesting and trying to grow up into a coward. Lord,
-
that we would have eyes to see and ears to hear, and that we
-
would be able to pull people out of fear with your love. Lord,
-
I thank you that you didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of
-
love, power and a sound mind. So the definition for fear is an
-
unpleasant, often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger, kind of
-
like when he says that I think the mechanic thinks he fixed the power,
-
and you know, there was a temptation to have an emotion other than love
-
in that moment when the pilot so confidently came on the speaker phone and talk
-
to us. And fears defined as an emotion or feeling of danger. Every
-
living being will confront fear no matter who you are, even if you claim
-
to be fearless, you have to confront fear in your life. A coward,
-
though, is someone who lacks the courage to face their fears. In
-
fact, a coward is one who shows disgraceful fear or timidity. The difference
-
between battling fear and actually being a coward. A coward would be in a
-
battlefield and they would literally the very first moment shots were fired, they would
-
run for their lives and leave all the men around them. We unfortunately have
-
cowards for pastors in America at this moment. Some of them don't have a
-
backbone, and I pray that that changes. You. Hear whispers right now
-
of lockdowns and all of this stuff and the fear, and they're trying to
-
ramp all of that up once again, and we don't know what's going to
-
happen full right. We know we're in turbulent times, and we know that
-
scripture says in the last days, people's hearts will fail them for fear.
-
But the question is when you recognize, when you have eyes to see and
-
ears to hear, and you understand what's going on, then it's our duty
-
to actually run towards that and be the light insult that God has called us
-
to. It's our duty to pull those people out of fear and actually say,
-
hey, guess what, God didn't give you a spirit of fear,
-
but of love power in a sound mind. There's Gideon's hiding in the crowd
-
of fear, and there's actually if you're taking notes fears mentioned at least four
-
hundred and thirty seven times in the ESV Bible. There are actually seven types
-
of fear. You're ready. Fear failure. Anybody had to face that,
-
every hand should be up. I've had and you've probably had to face fear
-
of failing more than once. Mark put all three arms up. Fear of
-
man, anybody dealt with the fear of man, Fear of confrontation with a
-
human. Fear of creatures here in the woods, and yeah, animals,
-
lions, tigers and bears. Oh, my, fear of nature. Unravel
-
the myth that nature answers to no one. The winds and the waves.
-
In Psalms, you see actually in Psalms a prophetic picture where Jesus prophesies of
-
calming the storm with the disciples, and it's actually in the Psalms, and
-
it paints a clear picture of what he did. And professional fishermen were scared
-
to death of that storm, and he calmed it. And he said,
-
why do you fear? Fear of the future? Anybody had fear of the
-
future. I can tell you as a father, taking coal and dropping him
-
off to Fort Mill, South Carolina was a little nerve wracking for me.
-
Taking my firstborn and letting him out of the nest was way more intense than
-
I thought. Fear of death, anybody dealt with fear of death, and
-
then one of the last ones. Fear of abandonment. Anybody dealt with fear
-
of abandonment. And the thing is, y'all, these things can be so
-
intense. This, these different types of fear can be so intense that they're
-
paralyzing. Anybody ever had a panic attack before. When you're when you're in
-
the midst of an anxiety attack or a panic attack, you literally feel like
-
you're dying. Like you may know you're okay right here, but you are
-
overwhelmed with this feeling that it's all over. Get me here, or I'm
-
gonna die. I had horrible anxiety and panic attacks for years. That's act
-
ultimately what led my wife to prophesy to me if I didn't get help.
-
She was leaving back in two thousand and five. She was gonna take cold
-
and go to mom's house and let me set in my anxiety. And I'm
-
telling you all, if you struggle with panic attacks this morning, you don't
-
have to There is deliverance, but you have to understand it's not your fear.
-
It's not your anxiety. It's not if you think it is. You're
-
gonna comfort it, you're gonna you're gonna counsel it, you're gonna pamper it,
-
you're gonna you're gonna end up victimizing it. That went well, okay,
-
So here unconquered fear will lead you into becoming a coward. If you
-
don't deal with fear, you can ultimately end up becoming a coward. The
-
flip side of this coin, it says that because of lawlessness, the hearts
-
will what will grow cold. So you have people literally falling apart because of
-
a spirit of fear, and then you have people literally thinking that the lie
-
are thinking that the answer to all of this craziness is just to harden your
-
heart and lose love for the lost. If you are cold hearted, you're
-
not going to see where the Gideons are among all those other people, because
-
they're all going to look the same to you, because you're looking with the
-
natural. That's the lord you should answer that revelation twenty one eight. But
-
as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers,
-
the sexually and moral sorcerers, idolatres, and all liars. Their portion will
-
be in the lay that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second
-
death. Y'all. What does God think about being a coward? No,
-
ain't digging it. And what's interesting out of all of those things, out
-
of murder, sexual or sexual morality, sorcery, idolatry, lying, out
-
of all of that, it starts out with cowardly. So you what you
-
fear, you in power, and whatever you focus on you're gonna make room
-
for. And whatever you make room for, you're gonna have faith to see
-
it. And right now you have to understand something. All of the media,
-
political spirit, regardless of sides of the wings, all of those things
-
are designed to use fear to cripple you, to put you into a passive
-
state, to make you believe that you are helpless, powerless, and you
-
have no control over the future of this nation or the future of your family.
-
And then the government wants to come in and act like the Savior when
-
it's all bondage. And if you bow to these things, you will absolutely
-
power. You will be paralyzed in a spirit of fear that ultimately will lead
-
you to run from the front line and literally leave everyone unprotected. Does this
-
making sense? Second Timothy one six. For this reason, I remind you
-
to fan and to flame the gift of God which is in you, through
-
the laying out of my hands. Fan the flame of the gift of God
-
which is in you, through the laying on my hands. All right,
-
So here's Gideon. It starts out. It paints this picture. It says,
-
for whenever the Israelites planted crops, the Midianites and the Amalekites and the
-
people of the East would come up against them, they would encamp against them
-
and devour the produce of the land as far as Gaza. Hey, modern
-
day, you can't go to work. You can go to work because we
-
need you, but we don't need you. You stay home. You put
-
a mask on and shut your mouth and live in fear. Yeah, hiding.
-
I'm afraid to leave the house. I'm scared to death to leave the
-
home. And it's not just COVID. It can be anything else. So
-
if I haven't stepped on your toes yet, give me a couple of minutes.
-
You were not called to have fear in this hour. You were not
-
called to bow to the spirit of fear or fear of death. It would
-
devour the produce of the land as far as Gaza and leave no substenance in
-
Israel, no sheep or ox or donkey b Now, the Angel the Lord
-
came and sat under the taribith. By the way, it doesn't say be
-
in the scriptures. And that was my outline. Now, the Angel the
-
Lord came and sat under the taribith tree at Ophrah, not Oprah, which
-
belonged to Joe Ash and I'll be here all day and a baserite, while
-
his son Gideon was beating out wheat and the wine press to hide from the
-
Median nights. You have this picture. Israel was given over to their enemy
-
because they would not repent. They were living in sin as a nation and
-
would not repent. He's hiding in the wine press threshing wheat because he's scared
-
to death that the enemy's going to come and take all of his produce,
-
take everything they have for substenance that they need to live on. Fear of
-
the future, fear of man. Can you see when we talked about these
-
seven things, how this issue of fear. Listen, y'all, I know
-
this isn't super popular to talk about fear because we want to medicate everything all
-
the time. And I'm not I'm not against hear my heart. I'm not
-
against doctors, and I get it. I'm not against things. But if
-
you deal with a spiritual root in a natural way, you're not going to
-
get spiritual results. Are you with me? So? In other words,
-
if you're dealing and battling with a spirit of fear, and it's not your
-
fear, it's a spirit of fear, there's nothing you do naturally that's gonna
-
get that thing out of your life, except for taking your authority and casting
-
it out in the name of Jesus. That was good. Okay, bless
-
y'all. You gotta love me. I'm your pastor. So, And the
-
Angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon and said to him, the Lord is
-
with you, al mighty man of Valor. Gideon's like he's like I thought.
-
I was the only one in this room hiding threshing wheat from the enemy,
-
and he's looking around, y'all. I can tell you with authority that
-
it's possible to overcome anxiety and fear because I did it with the Lord.
-
I had anxiety attacks, I had panic attacks, and I was absolutely miserable
-
for years if I wasn't doing something and I was just sitting there. I
-
was so afraid of people. I got a D in speech class my freshman
-
year at Pensacola Christian College. My first date with Lisa, I literally said
-
like three words, y'all. I know you're like, I don't believe that.
-
No, it's the truth. Ask her, and she was like,
-
man, this guy didn't talk at all. I was paralyzed with the fear
-
of man, paralyzed with the fear of I mean, I probably had every
-
distinking type of fear you could think of. Fear of this, fear of
-
that, fear of abandonment, fear of rejection, fear of man, fear
-
of public speaking. I like, Lord, you got the wrong person if
-
you think I'm supposed to be your mouthpiece. And I literally talked myself out
-
of my calling for a period of time. So what have you allowed fear
-
to talk you out of that God called you to. Maybe you were supposed
-
to start a business, but you let the voice of fear say no,
-
this is the wrong time. You know, the Great Depression, Some of
-
the greatest corporations came out of that they started in the great depression? Whose
-
economy are you in? You in the Kingdom of Heaven, God's economy or
-
the world's. That was a great golf clap, and Gideon said to him,
-
please, my Lord, if the Lord is with us, then why
-
has all this happened to us? And where are all these wonderful deeds that
-
our fathers recounted to us, saying, did not the Lord bring us up
-
from Egypt? But now the Lord's forsaken us and given us into the hand
-
of Midian. Gideon's real excited about this call. He's super excited about being
-
called a man of valor, and he says, please, Lord, how
-
can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manassa.
-
I'm the least in my father's house. And the Lord said to him,
-
but I will be with you, and you shall strike the Median knights as
-
one man. Do you understand God doesn't call you to do things that you
-
can accomplish in your own strength. I don't care how successful you are right
-
now in the natural. If you're doing everything according to your own strength,
-
then you're probably not actually doing what God's called you to do. Because God
-
gets glory when he calls you to do things that you can't accomplish. Are
-
you all awake? I know how you're smelling the food and you don't want
-
to quit. I mean, you want to quit, but you gotta put
-
up with me a couple more minutes. So Gideon, don't leave. Mark,
-
It's it's almost over. So Gideon went into the house and prepared a
-
young goat and unloven cakes from an efa of flour. The meat he put
-
in the basket. The broth he putt in a pot and brought them in
-
under the tarbith and represent and presented them. And the Angel of God,
-
which if y'all want to know, this is Jesus pre incarnate, right,
-
the Angel of the Lord. And it says, take the meat and the
-
uneloven cakes and put them on this rock and pour the broth over them.
-
And he did so. This is awesome. Then the Angel of the Lord
-
reached out the tip of his staff that was in his hand and touched the
-
meat and the unloven cakes, and fire sprung up from the rock and consumed
-
the meat and the unloven cakes, and the Angel the Lord vanished in his
-
sight. Then Gideon perceived that he was the Angel of the Lord. And
-
Gideon said, alass oh, Lord God, for now I have seen the
-
Angel of the Lord face to face. But the Lord said to him,
-
peace be with you. Do not fear, you shall not die. That's
-
probably a good word to have, if the Angel of the Lord is in
-
front of you and full blown manifestation. I think I think you'd probably want
-
to hear that. I don't know. That's necessarily a bad fear, right,
-
probably the fear of the Lord. Anyway, So Gideon built an altar
-
and u and this is how brave Gideon. Listen, y'all, let this
-
story encourage you. Because Gideon didn't like all of a sudden go like this,
-
I am a man of feller and gave his smoldering look. Right,
-
he didn't do that? What did he do? He literally, by night,
-
take your father's bull and the second bull seven years old, and pull
-
down the altar of bail that your father has out, and pull down the
-
astra so and and build an altar to the Lord your God on the top
-
of the stronghold here was stones laid in due order. Then take a second
-
bull and offered as a burnt offering so literally, Gideon took ten men of
-
his servants and did as the Lord had told them, But because he was
-
too afraid of his family and the men of the town to do it by
-
day, he did it by night. So what's the difference. Gideon scared
-
to death, He's he's in the wine press, he's fresh and wheat.
-
He was like, looking around, who are you talking to? A mighty
-
man of valor? Going this strength of yours. He's like huh. And
-
then he's like, all right, guys, here's what we're gonna do tonight,
-
after everybody's asleep and no one sees us. This is what we're gonna
-
do. And the Lord you don't see the Lord. You don't see him
-
rebuking him in that moment. Because Gideon faced his fear, He faced the
-
fear of man, the fear of the Midian night, or the those dudes
-
coming against him. Yeah, sorry, Sue. And and even though he
-
was facing fear, he took steps of obedience with the Lord. Even though
-
it was at night, not in the day. He took steps of obedience.
-
So what do you all got to do? What are you fearing in
-
your life right now? Punch fear in the face and start taking steps forward,
-
and don't say, oh, I'm fearless. We all well, if
-
there was ever a time in history with the spirit of fear that's been coming.
-
Sometimes the Church is more fearful than the lost. Yeah, yepy,
-
very true. What true? What do you want? Yes, sir,
-
all right, I'm gonna start laying in this plane. And then Gideon and
-
all the people were with him rose early and in camp beside the spring of
-
Herod, and the camp of Midian was north of them, by the hills
-
of Mora in the valley. The Lord said to Gideon, the people with
-
you are too many for me to give the Midianites into your hand. Lest
-
Israel boast over me, saying, my own hand has saved me. And
-
y'all know the story. There's thirty two that says, proclaiming the ears of
-
the people, whoever is fearful and trembling, let him return home, hurry
-
away from Mount Gilead. Then twenty two thousand of the people returned, and
-
ten thousand were left, So there were thirty two thousand people. And he
-
says, everyone fearful and trembling, guess what if you don't deal with your
-
fear and your anxiety. You're gonna disqualify yourself when you're in the moment of
-
battle and breakthrough because you're gonna leave because of the fear. And the Lord
-
knows that fear is like kryptonite, and he says, send them home.
-
We're going to cut them for these are the ones that aren't willing to face
-
their fear, and and we're going to send him home. And I understand
-
that he's also saying, hey, there's too many people here, but that's
-
how he qualified them. If you're fear and trembling, go ahead and go
-
home. There's an importance of responding to visitations when the Lord gives them,
-
because you can miss your visitation. God is sovereign. You are not You're
-
made of the dust of the earth. Let let that sink in, and
-
says, he says, he remembers that we're made from the dust of the
-
earth. So when we think we're all big, bad and mighty and amazing
-
and our gifts are amazing, we're dirt. And I've said this a zillion
-
times. God is not impressed with the gifts that he gave you. He
-
didn't go, oh my word, how'd you do that? So he dwindles
-
them down to ten thousand. This is the part of love. And the
-
Lord said to Gideon, and the people are still too many. Huh,
-
Lord, can we keep the ten thousand? I feel a little better at
-
ten thous. I mean I felt really good at thirty two thousand, Lord,
-
but now there's only ten thousand left. You think we could, you
-
know, maybe eased off on the qualifications. Here, take them down to
-
the water, and I will test them for you there. And any one
-
of whom I say to you, this one shall go with you shall go
-
with you. And any one of whom I say to you this one shall
-
not go with you shall not go. So he brought the people down to
-
the water, and the Lord said to Gideon, everyone who laps the water
-
with his tongue as a dog laps, you, shall set by himself.
-
Likewise, everyone who kneels down to drink. And the number of those who
-
lapped, putting their hands to their mouths, was three hundred men. So
-
what is the picture here? Out of ten thousand, three hundred of them
-
went like this because they were keeping their eye in front of them for their
-
enemy, whereas the other nine thousand and something were like this, and they
-
took their eyes off the battle line. Only three hundred were trained and ready
-
for battle. So, as you know the story, all of a sudden,
-
a few more people went home and with the three hundred men who lapped,
-
I will save you who if you thought getting was fighting fear with thirty
-
two thousand people, and then twenty, and then he's got ten thousand,
-
and now the Lord's like, yeah, he got three hundred. Go in
-
this mighty valor, this might of your son. Does that sound like an
-
impossible situation? It is. That's the whole point. It is impossible.
-
It is absolutely impossible unless the Lord was with them and fought with them.
-
Stop allowing fear to keep you paralyzed and not moving in your life because you
-
don't want to give up the imaginary control of your life. You're not in
-
control, y'all. The only reason you're here right now and breathing is because
-
he has not done with you yet. Are you with me? Okay?
-
So I love this. If you battle fear, this is such an amazing
-
story because Getton, he's down to three hundred men. He's probably physically trembling
-
from the fear. Oh are you sure there's only three hundred and one of
-
us. Lord, what happened, you know? And I can only imagine
-
the intercessory whining. So the people took their provision in their hands and their
-
trumpets, and he sent all the rest of Israel, every man to his
-
tent, but retained the three hundred, and the camp Amidian was below him
-
in the valley. That same night, the Lord said to him, Arise,
-
go down against the camp, for I have given it into your hand.
-
But if you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp
-
with Pira, your servant, and you show here what they say, and
-
afterwards your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp. Then he
-
went down with Pira and his servants, and the outpost, the army men,
-
the armed men who were at the camp, and the Midianites and the
-
Amalekites and all the people the east lay along the valleys like locusts and abundance.
-
And he's got three hundred men and they're they're they're covering the lands like
-
locusts. That means they're all over the place. He's got three hundred.
-
A natural military plan would have been, let's keep the thirty two thousand right.
-
And when Gideon came, behold the man was telling a dream to his
-
comrad, and he said, behold, I dreamed a dream. And behold,
-
a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian and came to
-
the tent and struck it so that it fell, and turned it upside down,
-
so that the tent lay flat. Now this is what I love.
-
That's his dream. A cake of barley bread rolls down the hill flattens the
-
tents. And the comrade answered, this is no other than the sword of
-
Gideon, the son of Joash, a man of Israel. God has given
-
it into his hand Midian and the camp. And as soon as Gideon heard
-
the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped, and he returned
-
to the camp of Israel and said, arise, the Lord has given the
-
host of Median into your hand. Now, why in the world would a
-
loaf of barley bread rolling down a hill laying tents out flat be interpreted like
-
that? Remember what Gideon was doing in the wine press, he was threshing
-
wheat, he was making bread. So obviously they had to have some understanding,
-
more than likely, without reading too much into the text, that he
-
was probably known for that, and that dream language made total sense. Pay
-
attention to your dreams because when they're from God, he's going to use languages
-
or language and symbols that are familiar to you. I was just dove hunting
-
a couple days ago with a gentleman, Roger Sykes. And every time he
-
has dreams with turkeys, and his dream the turkeys represent business deals. Now,
-
if you if you had a dream and you had turkeys in it,
-
that probably wouldn't represent the same thing. But for him, that's the way
-
the Lord speaks to him. And every time though it's been a prophetic dream
-
when he has turkeys, let's talk turkey, which, by the way,
-
Richard Holcombe can do a turkey sound where he literally calls turkey in with just
-
his mouth and sounds just like a turkey. True story, So don't forget
-
then he'd Gideon is doing the fleece and he's make it wet and everything else
-
dry, and he's and he's working through all of these these modes of where
-
strongholds of fear were in his life. But because he surrendered and was willing
-
to deal with the fears that had been allowed into his life, God was
-
gracious with him and worked with him and said, hey, if you're still
-
fearful, go down and listen. You will be encouraged. And he used
-
a dream to encourage him to say, Okay, we're taking the land.
-
David's mighty men and Samuel didn't look very mighty when they first showed up,
-
did they? All who were indebted, all who were embittered? All?
-
I mean, this description is brilliant, right, And I could only imagine
-
Dave and David going, oh they I don't remember what that word means,
-
but it's Hebrew. So what is the Lord calling you to face better?
-
Yet? Who's in your life that you know is drowning and fear? And
-
he's called you to help them out. He's called you to lock arms with
-
them and say, hey, let's go do this together. He didn't.
-
He didn't call us to have a spirit of fear in this hour. Listen.
-
We are living in unprecedented times. We I mean, if you want
-
to lower your anxiety, turn all the news off that that that would be
-
a good start for you. It says wars and rumors of wars and and
-
Ethnol will rise up against against Ethnos, race against race, all these things
-
are seeing, all these the perplexity of nations, and all these issues happening
-
right now, y'all, we're the ones with the answers. It's called Jesus,
-
the God of the universe, who is literally the creator of everything.
-
Everything exists inside of him. He chose to dwell inside of you. All
-
knowledge, all wisdom, everything is inside of Jesus, and he is inside
-
of you. You don't have to have the intellectual capacity. All you got
-
to do is develop a listening ear and an eye that sees, and a
-
heart that is humble, and he can do anything he wants through you.
-
What's the definition of insanity? Keep doing the same thing over and over and
-
expecting a different result. What are you doing over and over and over that's
-
actually motivated by fear in your life? Right now? And if we actually
-
allow him to rip that fear out and replace it with love and confidence and
-
faith and hope and him, then you'll actually have the the hutzpah to go
-
forward and try something different. Now, can y'all hand out the communion?
-
Then after that we're gonna have Richard come and pray and bless everybody. And
-
then after that we're gonna feast. Yes please, yeah, oh yes,
-
men next Saturday men's breakfast. Thank you for the reminder. Eight eight o'clock
-
right eight am. M Hey, if you, if you are experiencing piercing
-
pain in your back right now, anybody who who's who's experiencing a pain in
-
their back, understand that that's actually fear coming against you and anybody else.
-
If you're experiencing that pain in your back, that's actually fear piercing into your
-
back, and the Lord's going to deliver you. So Father, I just
-
thank you right now for a release. We just say in unison that the
-
spirit of fear has to pull its hooks out of minds and hearts right now.
-
In the name of Jesus and Father, I ask for an a baptism
-
of love, of power and peace to flood their souls right now, in
-
the Mighty name of Jesus. Ma'am in the back next to the scrugs that
-
just handed the plate. Yes, what's your first name? Ramita? Juanita,
-
Juanita. Okay, when you came in earlier this morning before worship started,
-
I saw an angel with you and I was asking the Lord about it.
-
He's assigned an angel to you in this season, I see you going
-
into uncertainty. You're gonna be facing some issues that you gotta make decisions on,
-
and the angels with you assigned to you to help you and protect you
-
during this season. It it literally was like eight foot tall. Yeah,
-
so Psalms ninety one. Yeah, because there's a mark on your life.
-
The Lord's actually going to use you to change some serious bloodline issues. And
-
I even believe there's a there's been a call of ministry on your bloodline,
-
and there's been ministers in your bloodline, and I see a call to missions
-
over your life. Yeah? Is that? Am I tracking? Okay?
-
And I believe the Lord oooh, I believe the Lord would what would want
-
me to say? That your heart for the children blessed is his heart.
-
You're going to see creative miracles on the mission field, specifically with orphans and
-
young children. There's three nations, three doors that will quickly open to you
-
when when it comes. So don't be afraid because that big o eight foot
-
tall angels with you bless you? Does that make sense? Okay? Awesome?
-
Oh? That okay? Who let's do communion. I'm getting jacked up
-
here. So Father, will you let us be like the three hundred.
-
Will you let us be like the three hundred. Father, strengthen us in
-
this hour to not back down, to not give in, Lord, but
-
to keep charging forward, to see your kingdom come and your will be done,
-
Lord, in this earth in this hour, or that we would go
-
from glory to glory, strength to strength, and that we would readiate the
-
light and the song you called us to bed. Father, I thank you
-
that you were willing to reconcile us back to yourself in Christ. I thank
-
you, Father, that you were willing to give us your only son,
-
so that we would not perish lost and in sin, Lord Jesus, I
-
thank you for your broken body, Lord, that was bruised and beaten beyond
-
recognition. Lord, by your stripes, we are healed. And Lord,
-
we examine ourselves right now in this moment, and we examine our hearts.
-
Lord. And I asked that you would show us, Lord, if there's
-
anything we need to confess in this moment to you, Lord, because what
-
we've done to the least of them, we've done unto you, Lord,
-
that we would observe your body with the fear of the Lord. And so
-
Lord right now. I asked that as we partake of the body and the
-
blood of Jesus, that emotional healing, that physical healing would come, Lord,
-
because there's healing in the intellement. Father, thank you for choosing us
-
to be alive in this hour, at this very moment in history. Lord.
-
Lord, we say yes and amen to all that's in your heart,
-
what you want, what you long to do in this region and with us.
-
Lord. So we receive your body, Lord, right now. And
-
I received the strength of Samson to get this. I'm gonna foil off this
-
one. I think super glued on. Believe all right, Thank you.
-
I think my hair grew out. Okay, Lord, thank you for your
-
blood. Father, I thank you. The gifts and callings are irrevocable.
-
Lord, I thank you for the land of our anointing. I thank you
-
for your blood that was shed, which is the cup of the New Covenant.
-
Lord. I thank you that we are forgiven of all of our sin
-
and healed of all of our diseases, Lord, because of the suffering servant,
-
because you were willing to empty yourself and take our place. So Lord,
-
we take this cup, and we do this in remembrance of you,
-
until you return and we do this in your kingdom with you, Lord,
-
thank you for your blood. Guys. To have one last thing to add
-
is she's still here. Yeah, one last thing. I heard that that
-
there's been a spirit of poverty that's been assigned to your bloodline. In fact,
-
I think it's actually stopped some of the things from happening that we're that
-
we're planned and that is being broken in the name of Jesus. And so
-
provision follows assignment, and there's an abundance of provision at atch to the good
-
works you're called to walk in, and you're gonna walk in a favor and
-
an abundance that your bloodline has never seen before. Yeah, okay, y'all,
-
bless you. So a couple of things. If you're on the prayer
-
team, come up. Richard's gonna come up and he's gonna pray for rain
-
hallelujah, and he's gonna bless the house. If you're as signed to be
-
back there to start doing food, that's great. And then once he's done,
-
if you need prayer, come up. Otherwise, we need some really
-
strong men to help start setting tables up. Okay, love, y'all,
-
you gotta put up with me, Mike, this would be a little awkward.
-
There you go. We need to bless our leaders. We need to
-
pray for our leaders. They don't operate by themselves. They operate letterly in
-
God's kingdom, and they need prayer, they need support. So I want
-
y'all put your hands out towards them right now, and I want you to
-
bless him. And I want to hear it. I want to hear it
-
like you're at a football game and you're winning in the last second. Loud.
-
I want to hear it with no micromone. Bless bless bless him,
-
louder, louder, louder, louder, louder, Mother more more, I
-
want to hear it. Blessings, blessing, blessing, blessing, abundance,
-
overflow, overflow. I want you to see overflow, Thanks overflow. While
-
you have your hands up, look up into the sky. Say Lord,
-
you have promised the early rains, the latter rains. We have not got
-
them. Bring him now, in the name of Jesus, release some Lord,
-
the water that you've stored up in the heavens. Let it flow now
-
up on our labs. Said forth the rain now, Lord on this land.
-
We are an army. We have rights. We demand our rights of
-
rain to come to day in Jesus name, Come now while we pray in
-
Jesus name. In the name of Jesus, we'd brakt this curse of this
-
draft over our land. In the name of Jesus, we'd rack it according
-
to the word of God and the power of God. We have a right
-
and we demand our right in the name of Jesus. Let the rains fall
-
now, in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord.
-
Carla, come you count, run, get up here fast, come
-
over, say real quick, what happened last time? I right with you.
-
He was probably the first man that's ever held me and rocked me like
-
a baby. And tell him what you always wanted to be held by dad
-
and be rocked like a baby. What did unday and when did un pay
-
you? When I rocked you? That I was only the second person you've
-
ever rocked? No, my special girl? Did all love team? You
-
were perfect? Say it to him. He told me that I was special
-
and that I was perfect, and that he loved me and you were the
-
perfect gowner for me, and that I was his perfect daughter. And one
-
hate. You prayed and wanted all your life. You've heard Dad to caring
-
love me and the boy. Yeah, and to say that See, we
-
carry inside of us literally the spirit and the power of God to release it
-
to the lay atend, to break the curses over people's life. Some of
-
you've had curses over your life. Some have never received a blessing. When
-
God touched my life, the first thing he said was go to your father
-
and huggy. I said, well that my dad was like John Wayne kind
-
of you know. He broke his hand and go to the doctor, broke
-
his back, drove himself to the doctor and his true he never whimpered.
-
They never whine. But we did not hug, and we didn't say we
-
loved each other. And God told me point blank, he said two things,
-
one thing about my brother and his bloodline to break it. And I
-
went and told my brother, and I hated to do that, And then
-
I really hated to go hug my daddy. I just did not feel natural.
-
I mean, can y'all identify with that? It just it didn't feel
-
natural. I fought it for two weeks. I finally went down to hug
-
my daddy and I said daddy, I love you, And he looked at
-
me and he says, I love you. He had never said that before.
-
Men that grew up. He was born nineteen eleven, went through to
-
depression. He didn't whine, he didn't cry. He worked all the time.
-
He was never on poverty steps. He was never in a food life.
-
He worked part of the time for fifty cents a day and a cot
-
fifty cents a day because he could find work to do. See, you
-
can find if you look. So if you feel that you've never been blessed,
-
I want you to say in your mind, like Carla did, I
-
want this in my life that I feel loved? And she God loved so
-
rich your hand right now or stand up everyone, just hold your hands out.
-
This is not my blessing. This is God's blessing. This is something
-
that God has given to y'all. This is something God wants to smear upon
-
you. A blessing is like taking paint and smearing it all over your body,
-
all over everything, everything. Okay, In the name of Jesus Christ,
-
I bless you what the promises of God, which your yea and amen,
-
be blessed with supernatural strength to turn your eyes from evil and worthless things.
-
Instead, May you behold the wonderful things that God has planned for you.
-
I bless you your ears to hear, your eyes to see, and
-
your spirit to understand, the wonders of our God. May your hands in
-
your feet be ever outstretched to help those. Indeed, God's grace be upon
-
your home. May God give you success and prosperity in your places of late.
-
May God give you spiritual strength overcome the evil one and to avoid temptation.
-
God's grace be upon you to fulfill your dreams and all of your visions.
-
The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face to
-
shine upon you and give you grace and peace. May His goodness in his
-
mercy follow you all the days of your life. And I'll bless you.
-
I bless you, I bless you, I bless you in Jesus Name.
-
Amen. Thank you for listening. For more messages and other resources, please
