  1. You're listening to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the Week, we hope you enjoy

  2. this message from Justin Carpenter. But I really felt led by the Lord to

  3. talk about passing the test this morning because many of you are being tested right

  4. now, and I know you're being tested in ways that you've never been tested

  5. before, and some of you may be wondering, what in the world is

  6. going on? Why am I being tested in the way that I'm being tested.

  7. Interestingly enough, as I was praying through different subjects and asking the Lord

  8. what to talk about, I realized it was exactly two years ago the last

  9. time I talked about this. Now, isn't that interesting? Now we find

  10. ourselves in a transition. When the Lord told me two years ago, yes,

  11. this will happen, but it's going to be hard, I was just

  12. like, you know, when the Lord says it's gonna be hard, I'm

  13. thinking you should put your crash helmet on in a seat belt. And but

  14. I want to talk to you this morning about testing. Why you're tested,

  15. and you're tested for promotion. You're You're God. God is never testing you

  16. for your demotion. How you handle testing and transitions in your life will absolutely

  17. determine whether or not you get promoted. You don't fail in the kingdom,

  18. You just you just get to go around the mountain again, anybody want to

  19. go around some of the mountains that you've already been around a couple of times.

  20. That was the biggest response. Yet neither do I, right, And

  21. so it's it's yeah, I mean I the last few months have been just

  22. if you haven't noticed, things have just turbulence, like the marriages. And

  23. I mean every time I turn around there's you know, somebody's gotten sick or

  24. their marriage is in trouble. And I have I've had to be very conscious

  25. in recent months to not carry other people's lives. And you fully understand this

  26. if you're a burden bearer or you do prayer, ministry and right, it's

  27. way too easy to take on false responsibility for people's lives because deep down inside

  28. you somehow think just maybe you're in control, if you're responsible for them,

  29. maybe you're in control. And we say, logically, oh no, that's

  30. not the case. But you're full of crap. Sometimes when you say that

  31. we all are that's Greek for crapola James one two to four, count it

  32. all joy Oh, that was really slick, wasn't it? Never mind?

  33. I apologize family. Count it all, joy, my brothers. When you

  34. meet trials of various kinds, For you know that the testing of your faith

  35. produces steadfastness, and let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be

  36. perfect and complete, lacking and nothing. Count it all, joy, my

  37. brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, For you know that the

  38. testing of your faith produces steadfastness, And some translations actually say patience and let

  39. steadfastness have its full effect, so that you may be perfect and complete,

  40. lacking in nothing. So when you're being tested, the issue is God is

  41. viewing your relationship with him more valuable than gold. He's viewing your relationship with

  42. him more precious than anything. Heaven went bankrupt so that you could actually have

  43. a relationship with him. And when we back out of the testing, when

  44. we refuse to allow the pruning process in our lives to continue, we're short

  45. circuiting our relationship with him. We are guaranteeing that we're not going to be

  46. promoted, and we're guaranteeing that we're going to continue to go around the mountain.

  47. Has anybody ever figured out just because you might be sixty years of age

  48. literally that that doesn't mean you're not two years old spiritually. Spiritual age and

  49. spiritual maturity doesn't it does not necessarily equate to literal age. Timothy was told

  50. to set the elders up by Paul, and Timothy was young. The Disciples

  51. were super young, y'all when they turned the world upside down. Paul had

  52. to encourage Timothy, don't let anyone look down on you because of your youth.

  53. But one thing that will guarantee that we don't progress forward spiritually speaking,

  54. even though we have a physical birthday, as if we buckle under the pressure.

  55. Are you with me? Because what happens is when we're being tested for

  56. promotion, the enemy is right there tempting you with a shortcut. He knows

  57. exactly what the Father's trying to do with you in that moment. We see

  58. this clearly in the wilderness with Jesus. He's in the wilderness. He had

  59. nothing to eat for forty days and forty nights. More than likely he had

  60. nothing to drink as well. It doesn't say that specifically, but we can

  61. assume that Moses did that, and the Father kept Moses for two forty day

  62. stints and a seven day stint, and I'm like that dude had eighty some

  63. days without eating or drinking water. And in that process where Jesus was at

  64. his weakest is when Satan himself came to him and said, if you are

  65. the son of God, what did he do? The first thing he did

  66. was attack his identity, and then he was like, well, that's the

  67. case. Do this, you don't think Jesus and that we have to understand

  68. he was not faking his humanity when he became a man. It was not

  69. fake. He was one hundred percent human, and he limited his deity while

  70. operating as a man. Now, what I did not just say was that

  71. he ceased to have deity. I said he limited it. Okay, I

  72. don't want emails of misunderstandings. One hundred percent God, one hundred percent man.

  73. But he emptied himself in limited himself while on earth. Why so he

  74. showed us the perfect example of the life that we can have in him with

  75. the Father. He said, the things I do, you'll do. If

  76. he did all of those things in his deity and not in his humanity,

  77. he never could have said that to you because You're not God. There's nothing

  78. about you that's God. I don't care what new agers say. That's the

  79. lie from the garden. And you'll never be God. You have been a

  80. partaker of his divine nature when you accepted him. But he made it possible.

  81. He shows us the life that's possible. So think about this, Jesus

  82. not faking his humanity. Literally, anybody'd done a forty day water fast,

  83. only anybody one? Anybody else? Yeah, I would need an angelic visitation

  84. to tell me to go forty days before. I've done a ton of fasting

  85. in my life. And I don't say that, but yeah, no,

  86. who bless you? But imagine your forty days in the wilderness and Satan himself

  87. is coming to you. You know that you're gonna die the most gruesome death.

  88. You're gonna be beaten beyond recognition as a human being. You're gonna be

  89. spit on, mocked. Every demon in Hell is gonna be right in front

  90. of you, going after you. Because remember it says in that moment they

  91. didn't realize he was the Lord of Glory. Had they known, they never

  92. wrote to crucify the Lord of Glory, so they thought they were just gonna

  93. checkmate this thing and keep him from being a king. And in that moment,

  94. with all of this going down and all of this happening, Jesus knows

  95. why he was born. He knows what he can. He said, the

  96. Son of Man didn't come to be served, but to serve and offer his

  97. life as a ransom for many. So he knew from day one what was

  98. going on. And then here's Satan saying, hey, if you're all it

  99. literally says that that Satan showed him all the kingdoms of the earth in a

  100. moment of time, which is a false vision. That's why you got to

  101. test your visions, because not every vision you have is from Holy Spirit.

  102. And he showed them all these kingdoms, and he says, look, I

  103. will give you all of these kingdoms and the authority over them if you just

  104. bow down and worship me. Now was he lying not fully? That's that's

  105. the deception. Satan had the keys to death, hell and the grave.

  106. He had authority over the earth because we gave it up to him in the

  107. garden. So part of what he said wasn't a lie. But he knew

  108. if he took the bait, we're done. He didn't fully know. But

  109. if he would have, if he would have, if he would have buckered,

  110. buckered, it's always that spot. If he would have buckled to the

  111. pressure, y'all, there's no other name. What are you saying about it?

  112. There's no other name. He was in such agony in the garden,

  113. he was literally sweating blood. And I'm not a doctor, but I know

  114. that that's not good to the degree of your test. It's actually prophesying to

  115. the potential of your promotion. And if you allow the pressure of the testing

  116. or the temptation of your flesh to be a shortcut, then don't blame God

  117. that that prophetic word didn't come true over your life. Look in the mirror.

  118. You're not a victim. Take responsibility, for if you so to the

  119. flesh of the flesh, you'll reap corruption. If you so to the spirit

  120. of the spirit, you'll reap life. Y'all with me, okay. The

  121. Hebrew word for testing means to smelt, refine test, Yeah, like a

  122. goldsmith. That means you literally are being burned by the fire of God.

  123. Anybody ever feel the fire of God. You're literally being melted in the midst

  124. of your faith. It's not to hurt you. The Lord only gives good

  125. gifts. One of the things that the enemy has been a master at is

  126. that John ten ten, the enemy came to steal, kill, destroyer.

  127. But I've come to give life and give it more abundantly. One of the

  128. things the enemy has successfully done with us is he comes into our lives,

  129. he steals, he kills, he destroys. It happens through agreement, through

  130. deception, and then he gets us to shift the blame onto God, as

  131. if he had anything to do with it. In Genesis twenty two to one,

  132. after these things, God tested Abraham and said to him, Abraham,

  133. and he said, here, I am. We've talked about this before.

  134. Imagine Abraham's journey. He had Ishmael, right which right now we're seeing the

  135. fruit of Isaac and Ishmael as we speak in this very moment of day twenty

  136. three in the Gaza, and he's there, and he's convinced for thirteen years

  137. that by having being given to him, that that fulfilled the word. Y'all,

  138. every one of you will be tempted to give into Ishmael with your calling.

  139. It's a prophetic picture, because it's the easy way you with a little

  140. Jesus sprinkle thirteen years, which the number thirteen biblically prophetically is rebellion. So

  141. after the fullness of thirteen years with Abraham, guess what happens? God finally

  142. speaks to him. No, we don't have a single recorded word of the

  143. Lord to Abraham for that thirteen year stretch because of his decision. See we

  144. wink at sin, we say, oh, it's okay, it's all under

  145. the blood, it's all done. When I said yes, really, then

  146. why is First John there that's written to believers, not non believers. If

  147. you sin, he's what faithful and just to forgive you of your sin and

  148. to cling you from all unrighteousness. For I've written these things under you that

  149. know the Son of God. This is First John, and Abraham is there.

  150. Finally God's promise shows up Isaac, and he says, sacrifice them.

  151. Now I'm pausing because too many times we talk about this stuff, and we

  152. talk about biblical history, and somehow we kind of think sometimes it's just like

  153. a fairy tale or you know, just a good, you know, Bible

  154. picture story to talk about. But this was reality. Dad's imagine getting that

  155. word and Abraham didn't falter. Abraham said, we're gonna go worship the Lord

  156. and he'll provide the sacrifice. But there's a prophetic picture in this when you

  157. realize you've been holding on to Ishmael and you get Isaac. You got to

  158. lay Isaac on the altar and you got to take your hands off of it,

  159. and you got to leave Isaac with the Lord. You got to trust

  160. the Lord that he knows what to do with Isaac. Even if it looks

  161. like Isaac dies, Isaac is resurrected because of the Lord. And in that

  162. moment, that's the dark Knight of the Spirit. There's the dark Knight of

  163. the soul and the dark Knight of the Spirit, and the dark Knight of

  164. the Spirit is where you've done everything that you can in a righteous way,

  165. and either God shows up or he doesn't, but you are a full surrendered

  166. no matter what comes in front of you, and you're fully trusting and committed

  167. to the Lord Jesus, and ultimately we become bond servants of Jesus. Ultimately

  168. we embrace the cross and we don't just we don't get uncomfortable anymore because we

  169. realize without the Cross, there is no life and every part of our lives

  170. that we don't embrace the splinters of that cross is a part of our life

  171. that we lose. It's a part of the abundant life that he died for

  172. that he longs to give us, that we forfeit when we say I'll take

  173. Ishmael. The testings just getting started, the testing for the Body of Christ

  174. and America is just getting started. And if you take the shortcut now,

  175. you won't even have a chance of standing five years from now. But what

  176. keeps you embracing that cross, Which keeps you embracing the testing of the Lord

  177. isn't a bunch of rules and regulations. It's not fear. It's the awe

  178. of God. It's the fear of the Lord. It is the intimacy with

  179. him. It is what the disciples confessed and said, Lord, where will

  180. we go? Because you are the only one with the words of life.

  181. We are in a culture war right now in this nation. We just had

  182. professing Christians dressed as drag queens at the devil Wards a week ago. Anybody

  183. know that the devil Wards? Oh yes, this is the culture parents that

  184. trying to fight against with raising your children in the ways of the Lord.

  185. Will you buckle to the fear of man? Will you buckle and compromise and

  186. say, oh well, it's not that bad. Listen. It is clear

  187. about sexual immorality and perversion in these lifestyles that they don't inherit eternal life.

  188. But that's not it. No drunkard, no liar, no coward. Listen.

  189. If we want to see revival come, and we want to see revival

  190. sustained, we cannot divorce word and spirit. You better be just as strong

  191. in the written word of God and know his word and hide it in your

  192. heart that you will not sin against Him as you are for a dream or

  193. a vision or an angelic visitation. And if you don't know that written word

  194. and you have these spiritual encounters, you will be deceived. And if all

  195. you do is produce are seek after spiritual encounters, you will absolutely shipwreck your

  196. faith. You need to focus on Jesus, get close to him, and

  197. supernatural things will happen. But we don't get to choose what happens. All

  198. we do is say, Lord, I'm all in and I want to know

  199. you, no matter what the cost is. And it's time that we say

  200. we're all in it's time, we say Jesus, no matter what comes our

  201. way, no matter what comes out of those gates of Hell, they cannot

  202. prevail. We are standing in line, in agreement, in unity. We

  203. are one body, and we're gonna charge Hell, and we're gonna plunder Hell,

  204. and we're gonna take this the treasures out of darkness. And if it

  205. means we get, you know, we lose social media sites, then so

  206. be it. But I would rather stand before the God of the universe and

  207. know that I've fulfilled my assignment and I spoke the truth and love than to

  208. make a bunch of people feel good about themselves and then watch them go into

  209. a lake of fire. Terry Bennett says that the playground of Satan is attached

  210. to the School of Christ. See, Satan thinks he's just, you know,

  211. he's just. He doesn't know that God's actually using his attacks against him

  212. every time. Do you understand every time you are attacked, if the opposite

  213. wasn't true, why would the attack hurt? There would be nothing there for

  214. him to steal. If so, whatever he's trying to steal, guess what

  215. the opposite is true? When you are feeling rejection, and you're feeling this

  216. overwhelming feel of rejection. It's because he's lying to you about your identity that

  217. you have the spirit of adoption and you cry out, Papa. But if

  218. you focus on him, you just made room for him. That's why it

  219. says take every thought captive, which means you go on that thought out.

  220. I'm taking this thought right here that says I'm a son of God. I'm

  221. a son of light. I'm the light and salt of the earth. I've

  222. been called to reconcile the earth back to Jesus. I mean, you can

  223. go on and on and on about your identity and what He's called you to

  224. do. That's what you're supposed to think on. Philippians four to eight tells

  225. us what to meditate on. Don't let the enemy rent space in your mind

  226. before you bite the dust. Every single thing you do, guess what,

  227. It starts with a thought. And you're not in charge of your thoughts that

  228. come into your mind, but you are responsible for every single thought you choose

  229. to let stay in there and you focus on You've been given the mind of

  230. Christ, the helmet of salvation. When I get back on that series again,

  231. the helmet of salvation is there. Whatever goes past the shield of faith,

  232. maybe you got a crack in your faith. Guess what you have the

  233. helmet of salvation. You have the mind of Christ that's protected. And so

  234. any thought that comes into your mind, that's not the mind of Christ,

  235. that's not the Lord. Are you with me? Hezekiah was tested and failed.

  236. In fact, Hezekiah was unaware of the testing completely. When he was

  237. given an extended fifteen years of his life, guess what happened. He puffed

  238. up with pride and he showed the king everything of his kingdom. The prophet

  239. comes to him and says, what did you show him? Oh? I

  240. showed him everything. The Prophet's like, oh, And Hezekiah totally threw out

  241. the focus of legacy and his children and his children's children, and he said,

  242. well, at least they'll be peace in my day. So in the

  243. midst of your battle, in the midst of you wanting to quit and throw

  244. in the towel because things get tough, because you know, fill in the

  245. blank, whatever you're dealing with right now, you're not just fighting for yourself.

  246. You're fighting for a bloodline. And love is not self seeking. Listen,

  247. I never stepped into shepherding to build a megachurch. I stepped in out

  248. of obedience, and I want to see people become exactly what Jesus paid for.

  249. That's my heart. And when I see the only thing I've told the

  250. Lord is Lord, I want the fruit to match the battle. Lord.

  251. If I've got big battles, then i want big fruit. That's what I

  252. want. But I can tell you you do not become a champion of the

  253. faith without big battles. You do not become a champion without facing your fears

  254. on the battle line. Your promotion is going to come when you're facing your

  255. biggest giant. There's a promised land that we've been given in kirk County,

  256. and there's giants in the land, but the grapes are worth it. That's

  257. exactly what an angel told John Paul Jackson in Scotland when he was facing problem

  258. after problem. When he was over there doing ministry, two cylinders of lights

  259. appeared two angels and spoke and said, there's giants in the land, but

  260. the grapes are worth it. And then they go to some Irish prophet dude's

  261. house that was really weird, and he goes, yeah, the Lord talk

  262. to me while sitting in me tub about you too. And he's like,

  263. oh, did the Lord do that? And he goes, yes, he

  264. did. He says he'd go about the world prophesying to people. And he

  265. goes and that was pretty good. Huh. And again, oh, I

  266. don't want to there's annoying there or something, and and he's and he's talking

  267. to John Paul and John Paul's like, yeah, whatever, and and he

  268. says a couple of things, and he goes and the Lord told me you'd

  269. be stubborn. He goes, I am not stubborn. He goes, just

  270. listen to you, and uh, he goes, Yeah, he told me

  271. you'd be falsely humble. And so he's telling him all this and John Paul

  272. in his younger days, he'll burn a hole through you with his eagle eyes

  273. and know everything about your life. The dude was whoo. And so he

  274. goes, but the Lord said this, after I tell you this, you'll

  275. never question whether I hear from the Lord or not. And he goes,

  276. there's giants in the land, but the grapes are worth it. And John

  277. Paul was like, oh, my land, you do hear from the Lord,

  278. Because he literally the day before had an angelic visitation with those two angels.

  279. Did he have a clue? Listen, y'all, if you want to

  280. encounter God, get on your path that he's called you to, because if

  281. you look through the scriptures, people weren't having encounters because they just, Oh,

  282. sign me up for a dream, Lord, Oh tomorrow, I'll take

  283. a vision. Oh I'll take a prophetic word. No, it's in moments

  284. when they're facing their giants. They feel like their highnees being handed to them

  285. and they need to be strengthened by the Lord. And the Lord says,

  286. that is my son. I'm releasing my angels to strengthen him so he will

  287. fulfill the very purpose that I created him for. That's why these things happen.

  288. And when we're in moments of weakness, his strength is made perfect.

  289. When we're going, Lord, what is going on? Are you even with

  290. me? All of a sudden, in his mercy, something supernatural happens.

  291. Lord, did we really see the glory of the glory, weighty glory in

  292. front of the porch? And then, all of a sudden, a week

  293. later, a literal, tangible cloud appears in our yard at night radiating light

  294. and expands and then disappears. As we're talking about Thanksgiving, because talked when

  295. you were thankful. It focuses on the majestic of God, how majestic he

  296. is, and we magnify his name with thanksgiving. The Psalm says, sorry

  297. about the Greek the Greek word earlier forgot it was family, Please forgive me

  298. all. Thank you. One of the kids did praise the Lord. We'll

  299. keep you around for sure. The wilderness is always a time of testing.

  300. Therefore, Hebrews three seven and eight. Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says

  301. today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in

  302. the rebellion on the day of testing in the wilderness. He brought them into

  303. the wilderness for intimacy. But what was in them came out? Y'all?

  304. We want John fifteen. We want the fruit that remains on the vine.

  305. So guess what this is? How this works? In case you haven't figured

  306. it out yet, You cry out to the Lord, You tell him you

  307. want to fulfill your purpose that he created you for. And then things get

  308. hard. Yeah, Lord, what do you call me to? What's going

  309. on? And all of a sudden you're just feeling hit all over the place.

  310. The word of the Lord is purging you. When you get a prophetic

  311. word, it's not guaranteed. It's an invitation to become something, to have

  312. an upgrade of intimacy with him. It's not to flaunt to everybody else.

  313. Look how spiritual I am. I'm an intergalactic international apostolic prophet. Can you

  314. not tell servanthood leadership? If Jesus made himself of no reputation, then why

  315. are you trying to have one? Are you trying to build a reputation?

  316. Because he loves crushing idols. We want to be like new wine that can

  317. be poured into any vessel he chooses, and we say, you are Lord,

  318. your will not mine. And sometimes some of the hardest some of the

  319. some of the hardest moments is when injustice comes into your life and you and

  320. you are chomping at the bit to vindicate yourself. But guess what Jesus did.

  321. He didn't respond back, he didn't open his mouth, he didn't take

  322. the bait of Satan. He chose to have no reputation because he wanted the

  323. Father to be glorified in his life. Now I know every one of us

  324. have blown that in our lives. I know, as a prophetic minister,

  325. I cannot stand in justice. And guess what I've had so much thinking and

  326. justice happened to me since I was a little kid. Like the opposite,

  327. right, Guess what I was renamed by my aunt. My name on the

  328. birth certificate was Matthew, and my aunt was like, no one's naming.

  329. I don't know why, but she didn't like to name Matthew. No offense

  330. to Matthew Faust. If you're online watching, I love your name. Almost

  331. got your name, but justin means justice. So many times your identity in

  332. your name. Jesus renamed people. Why because he put their destiny in their

  333. name? Y'all. Even Jesus learned obedience by the things he suffered Hebrews two

  334. eighteen, For because he himself has suffered when tempted, he is able to

  335. help those who are being tempted. And Hebrews five eight although he was a

  336. son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. The body of Christ in

  337. the American Church better get a doctrine for the sufferings of Christ. And it

  338. comes with a promise that the glory the spirit of glory rests on those when

  339. they're experiencing the sufferings of Christ. See, we want all the we want

  340. all the accolades, we want all the encounters, but we don't want the

  341. suffering to go with it. And yet Paul said, I'm filling up in

  342. my body the suffering. What's lacking. I'm filling up the sufferings of Christ

  343. in my physical body. What's lacking in the church. He talks about the

  344. joy of the Lord in prison and a pit. It wasn't like our prisons

  345. where there's colored TVs and three square meals a day, and just like a

  346. whole other city inside of a building. He was in a pit. The

  347. Disciples and Acts. Y'all understand something about the Book of Acts, because there's

  348. always this big, huge fight over in the church. There's always this division

  349. of well, people don't like corporate gatherings or they only want home gatherings,

  350. and all of this stuff has been happening for decades. It's not either or

  351. it's both. You understand. What happened and Acts was they went into persecution,

  352. so they no longer could meet publicly. But before that persecution hit,

  353. they were gathering corporately and going home to home daily breaking bread. What does

  354. that say? You can't survive on two hours on a Sunday? Y'all?

  355. This is training ground, but we need to be together daily as a body

  356. of Christ breaking bread. So I want to encourage you. Don't don't think

  357. that you're gonna become a champion in the faith with two hours a week,

  358. Like what does your walk with the Lord look like the rest of the time?

  359. I forgot how many other hour? How many hours there are in a

  360. week, but yeah, one hundred and sixty eight, So what are you

  361. going to do with the other one hundred and sixty six hours? He used

  362. to burn me up. I'd see all these big, massive churches and the

  363. lights are off six days a week. They may have something going on on

  364. a Wednesday night or a Sunday. Our heart as we build out that there

  365. are things happening daily that we have connect groups, we have Bible studies,

  366. we have the School of Ministry, we have conferences, we have workshop because

  367. this is an Antioch hub. This is an equipping center for people to come

  368. in, get healed, get equipped, and walk in what they've been called

  369. to walk in. And if that's with us, awesome, If that's not

  370. we have to fulfill the kingdom. I love people. I'm not into this

  371. thing to create programs. I'm here because I want to see the Holy Spirit

  372. magnify the Father and the Son. We want to be a spirit led community

  373. that is running after the tangible presence of the Lord Jesus, and as he

  374. moves in our midst then we build structure to support what he's doing. We

  375. don't build structure to make him move. Are you with me? You can't

  376. make God move. We can't just say okay, Lord revival. That's why

  377. I always laugh about here my heart. But like when we do revival meetings,

  378. I understand the heart and the hungery it. Please don't get mad at

  379. me, But you can't make God pour out. That is a sovereign thing

  380. that he chooses to do, and he does these B twelve shots in us

  381. when we need them. But guess what, as God moves and as God

  382. begins to pour out his glory, we want to be a community that can

  383. stewart what he's doing so that it's not a visitation but habitation, so we

  384. can actually hand that off as a spiritual inheritance to the next generation. Every

  385. revival started with God and ended with man. Study him if you can't tell

  386. him a little pumped up this morning? All right about to lot, haven't

  387. I cut my coffee back this morning? That's only my third cup? Thank

  388. you? Well technically anyways, Yeah, there was a quad shot in the

  389. first one. You know, it's crazy, I've almost I've gone I didn't

  390. even look at my outline and I've already gone through a bunch of it.

  391. So the greater the call of God on your life, the greater the testing

  392. that must take place. Testing brings humility and forgiveness. Testing is for the

  393. praise, glory and honor of the Lord. Let me give you a few

  394. signs of if you know if you're being tested. Can you all give me

  395. about seven minutes to land this? Okay? Signs that you're being tested when

  396. you find yourself going through circumstances you've never gone through before. When you have

  397. a dream that you're back in school and you're taking a test, when you're

  398. being tempted in ways that you've never been empt before, when you're being persecuted

  399. in ways that you've not been before, when you've been betrayed by someone you

  400. trusted. You have just received a powerful prophetic word. I let me tell

  401. you something. When the prophet come, when the prophets come to town.

  402. I used to be like, Jesus, do you see me? Do you

  403. see me? That honeymoon phase ended? Can I get a witness? Troy?

  404. Now I'm like, don't see me, don't see me. Lord,

  405. I got ten prophetic words and I'm getting my butt kicked on. They're not

  406. fulfilled yet. I don't need another one. Yeah. If y'all didn't figure

  407. that out, you will trust me. The honeymoon of being called out by

  408. another prophet is not always hmm, because then the purging starts. Is what

  409. is happening. He's removing everything from you that when you get there, would

  410. destroy you. That's the purging. So open your hands and say purge,

  411. because he rewards our faithfulness with pruning so that we produce more fruit. Pruning

  412. hurts when it's getting cut. Y'all right, If trees could scream when you're

  413. pruning them, you probably hear something. You've just had a vision of your

  414. future. Get ready, everything's going wrong and you don't know why. When

  415. you're right on the edge of breakthrough and then it seems to fall apart.

  416. The danger of that is all of a sudden. Now, guess what you

  417. think. You feel like there's this proverbial carrot being dangled in front of you,

  418. and that you just can't quite get it. God doesn't play games.

  419. You show up to a place, you're called tomaturely, you're gonna look around

  420. and nobody else will be there. Your destiny is tied into others. Your

  421. destiny is in people, not in buildings and things, and God is moving

  422. in their lives and orchestrating and putting people in place. If you're a leader,

  423. turn around, who are you leading? There's enough that some are called

  424. some show up just because we say something. The fruit proves it. Embrace

  425. the cross. Trust him, that is it getting that bad? Trust him

  426. for I've hey, I've had moments where I wanted to cry like that in

  427. my walk. Lord, no more, almost done, I promise. Here's

  428. another thing. And this is what we don't want because wilderness. Wilderness times

  429. in our life come by two ways, either by design for your promotion or

  430. by default because of your rebellion. You don't want to go into a wilderness

  431. period because of rebellion. We need to come into a place of such sensitivity

  432. of the Holy Spirit, that he can lead us with his eyes alone.

  433. Yet, remember when you were a kid and your dad gave you that look

  434. when you knew you need to straighten up. Our mom gave you that look,

  435. and you knew that when you got that look. Oh streetbuck boys,

  436. come on now, Oh are you doing Dad's look? That's awesome, but

  437. you know the look right. Let me encourage y'all. We want to get

  438. into a place of such sensitivity with the Holy Spirit that just the slightest lift

  439. of his presence, just the slightest nudge, and we're like, Oh,

  440. he doesn't want us to he doesn't want me to do that. You ever

  441. get ready to say something and then you feel a check. Don't blow past

  442. that check. I've done it way too many times in my life and it

  443. doesn't work out well if you can't figure it out. Some I'm still unfiltered.

  444. Sometimes I'm like, oh, justin, I'm getting better. I'm trying,

  445. I promise, but you know what I'm saying, James says. Be

  446. quick to listen James one nineteen or one twenty. Be quick to listen,

  447. be slow to speak, and slow to become angry, because the anger of

  448. man does not produce the righteousness of God. In fact, I'll say this,

  449. to the degree you struggle with anger prophesies how much fear is in your

  450. heart. To the degree that you struggle with anger is actually prophesying to how

  451. much fear is in your heart. When you're fearful, anger comes and says

  452. I will protect you. You Ever, notice when when you get hit with

  453. fear and all of a sudden, the very next thing the jawbone chop,

  454. your and your and your some of y'all have issues with your uh TM and

  455. you need to get delivered of anger. Sorry, your soul, your physical

  456. body manifests what's in your soul. I love you, but I'm not gonna

  457. lie to you. That much of the iceberg shows above the water, and

  458. that's just like the very core of your personality, very little of your You

  459. have your consciousness and you have your subconsciousness. And we are experts at disassociation.

  460. We are experts at partnering with checking out because we want to put distance

  461. between the pain and the rejection that we've gone through in our life, and

  462. we don't want to deal with the trauma. So the enemy offers solutions,

  463. right, and you you may have battled drugs because of all the pain you

  464. went through. You may have battled alcohol. You may battle pills, you

  465. may and and other people battle other ways. Sin is sin, y'all.

  466. We need to trust the Lord to go deep to cut us with his word

  467. to bring healing. Okay, anybody, anybody not offended yet? Okay,

  468. I'm gonna read. I gotta read this. I can't. I got one

  469. minute, I said seven, So bear with me. And we've gone through

  470. this before, but this is really interesting. On the same day, the

  471. Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, to your descendants, I've given

  472. this land from the river at Jip to the Great River, the River Euphrates,

  473. the Keennites, the Keenan, keen Brah the Kenites, the Keenazites,

  474. the Catamites, the Hittites, the Purzites, the raphae Em the Amorite,

  475. the Canaanites, the Gergashites, and the Jebusites, and all other otherites.

  476. When the Lord your God brings you into the land which you go to possess,

  477. he has cast out many nations before you, and he goes through all

  478. these lands. But they had to deal with them. They had to deal

  479. with these ten lands these ten peoples, and do you know that names mean

  480. something? Are you ready for this? The Keenites mean fabricator, lies,

  481. false accusation. You're gonna deal with the giants. Everyone will deal with There's

  482. been false accusation against you. And will you make yourself of no reputation and

  483. allow the Lord to vindicate your name in his time? Or will you vindicate

  484. your name yourself? The Keenozites means possessive or coveteousness, trying to look more

  485. spiritual than you are. Are trying to be someone else or walk in someone

  486. else's anointing. You have your own shoes to walk in, and the anointing

  487. is attracted to authenticity. And when you try to act like somebody else,

  488. you're robbing the world of an authentic expression of a part of the nature of

  489. God that only you can manifest. Katamites means ancient ways or religious spirit.

  490. Remember the purest definition of a religious spirit is using God's word to do your

  491. own thing. So you lookiritual without repentance. And he says, look,

  492. there are seven mightier and greater than you. So he said, look,

  493. y'all, you can take out the first three without me. But You're not

  494. going to take out the other seven without me. This goes back to the

  495. reference to the dark Knight of the Spirit, where you have done everything you've

  496. been called to do. You're bearing your cross, you're walking with him,

  497. and either he shows up to fight the battle to take out these giants,

  498. or you do not inherit your inheritance. And if you keep trying to help

  499. him with these seven, then you're gonna keep going back around the mountain because

  500. you have to get into a place where you're totally reliant upon him to remove

  501. all of the giants. Are you with me? The hit sites mean sons

  502. of terror, subliminal torments, phobia's terror, depression, deceit. The Gurgashites

  503. mean stranger, feeling out of place, like you don't fit in. Amorite

  504. means sayer or to speak, to speak against our boast, its pride,

  505. and guess what. He gives grace to the humble, but he opposes the

  506. proud. Canaanites means zealous, a premature opportunity. Perzites means squatter, limited

  507. vision, lazy, our low self esteem. The raphaem means giant villagers vision

  508. limited to enjoying an earthly inheritance, hedonism, and the final one Jebusites means

  509. don don don trodden our depression, our victim mentality. If you leave a

  510. victim spirit in your life for comfort, because it allows you not to take

  511. responsibility of your life, and then therefore you don't have to feel the pressure

  512. checking out and you're never gonna get free because the victim spirit will guarantee you

  513. don't take responsibility for what you actually believe in your heart. There's giants in

  514. the land, but the grapes are worth it. Will you step into a

  515. place in Him where you're truly gonna let him do it? Compromise doesn't bring

  516. fruit, all right, it doesn't bring righteous fruit. Let's stand if I

  517. can have the prayer team come up? Wayne? Could you? Hey?

  518. Can everybody just I just want to again acknowledge Wayne and just bless him first

  519. up and up. Hello, Thank you for listening. For more messages and
