  1. Yeah. For those of you that know his testimony, it's it'll blow your

  2. mind. But I watched him go back to places from years ago, back

  3. to other churches and ask for forgiveness for the life that he lived in the

  4. past. I watched him make amends and seek reconciliation with other leaders. And

  5. so I honor you for your heart. I honor you for your love for

  6. the lost. And I honor I honor your your yes because what you came

  7. out of took a big yes. And the body of Christ is better because

  8. of your obedience. So if y'all would put your hands towards him, Father,

  9. I thank you for my friend, for this leader, Jesus. I

  10. thank you that he didn't stay down when he was down. So Lord,

  11. fill his mouth with your words. This morning, Holy Spirit, I asked

  12. that you would be his clothing. So Lord, would you come in power

  13. and bring your kingdom in Jesus' name. How is everybody well? First of

  14. all, I just want to honor. I just really want to honor what

  15. Lord the Lord is doing today. I felt his presence. If you are

  16. not aware the Holy Spirit is here today, there is definitely a presence of

  17. joy, and I felt it as soon as we walked in the room,

  18. as soon as people started feeling an auditorium. Today, everything in me wanted

  19. to be nervous, but everybody that met me met me with love. And

  20. today I feel more like part of your family than I've ever felt h And

  21. I mean I mean that. So I want you to do something with me,

  22. if you'll, if everybody will stand for just a moment, and I

  23. want you to promise that you'll do this with me. Can you promise that

  24. you'll do this with me? All right? Y'all are my family. All

  25. are my brothers and sisters, So don't lie, okay, all right?

  26. I want everybody to just shake it out, do this, okay, all

  27. right, now y'all look as goofy as I do. So I'm okay,

  28. young, Sit now, who that helps? That works? Do they follow

  29. your directions? That easy? Justin no, before we start, I really

  30. want to honor the Lord because I believe that I was hearing while we were

  31. while we were worshiping, that he wants to do communion. So we're gonna

  32. pass out communion elements for those of you that are helping. If y'all would

  33. pass out communion elements are up here. We have some in the back,

  34. some guys that are going to be helping. I just feel like, first

  35. of all, I want to commune with you because I'm honored to be here

  36. today and I want us to be unified in the name of Christ. So

  37. as they're passing this out, I was praying about, Lord, what do

  38. you want me to speak on? So I thought I was going to be

  39. giving my testimony today and I was all gung ho ready to do that.

  40. And we were in our staff meeting on Tuesday morning and Kim and Lisa and

  41. Justin and Alex and all said that they thought it would be better for me

  42. to just preach. And I was like, no, no, no,

  43. no, no, no, no no no, I don't do that.

  44. But you know, they just I said, what am I supposed to preach

  45. on? They said, the Holy Spirit will tell you. So I went

  46. to bed that night and I set up at two thirty in the morning,

  47. but it was like two twenty nine, I think, and I had a

  48. download from the Lord and I sat up and I barely had my eyes open.

  49. I remember I grabbed my iPad and I like set up in the bed

  50. and I started typing and I and I typed for an hour, and I'm

  51. telling you, in the next morning, I did not have a clue what

  52. I had typed. I knew nothing. I knew that I had done it,

  53. but I didn't remember any of it. Like I didn't know. I

  54. knew there was a topic, but I didn't know exactly what. So when

  55. I got up and next the next morning, I looked at my iPad and

  56. I heard the Lord saying that he wants to focus on the power of his

  57. name. The power of his name. So his name is higher than any

  58. other name. And there's so many names that God calls himself. There's so

  59. many names that are mentioned all throughout scripture, and the name is is more

  60. than just it's more than just a title, but it has value. And

  61. so we're going to focus as we're doing communion, I want us to just

  62. focus on the name of Jesus, and as we commune together, I just

  63. want you to meditate on his name and let it just wash over you.

  64. And then we're going to dive in, so everybody have communion elements. So

  65. Father God, we just thank you, Lord for what you're doing. We

  66. thank you for what you've already done. We thank you that the finished work

  67. of Jesus is just that it's finished. Lord and Father, as we come

  68. together and we remember his sacrifice, Lord, we come and we we remember

  69. the atonement. We remember that holy moment, that holy moment when he said

  70. it is finished. And Father, as we meditate on that sacrifice, Lord,

  71. Father, let us not forget that the cross was not the ending.

  72. Father, we come and we recognize the sacrifice that Jesus made, but we

  73. recognize it through the fact that he sent his spirit to be with us until

  74. he should come again. So, Father, as we take these communion elements,

  75. Lord, would you just fill us with your spirit and we may become

  76. one with you, just like Jesus talked about in John seventeen in Jesus' Mighty

  77. Name. Amen, just have your Waylord, have your way. Lord.

  78. Mm hmmm. So as we're as we're thinking about the name, I want

  79. you to think about your own name, and I want you to think about

  80. a time where you were either in extreme danger or you were in trouble and

  81. your name got spoken. And I want you to remember that feeling that came

  82. over you when you heard your name. Right, everybody had those everybody had

  83. one of those moments, Right, your name was spoken in. Your name

  84. has value. A name is not just something that we're given just to call

  85. each other by, but it has value. There's power in a name.

  86. There's power in each one of our names. All throughout Scripture we see the

  87. name be recognized, and God even takes people with a name and he changes

  88. their name to signify a change or sanctification or a new beginning. And that's

  89. part of my story. I'm not going to give my testimony today, but

  90. that's part of my story. After I came out of what I came out

  91. of, I was being talked to by a counselor and I used to go

  92. by Tony, and I remember my counselor said, called me Anthony, and

  93. it resonated in a place that I hadn't heard since before I started making really

  94. bad choices. And there was power in that name, because that's the name

  95. that God gave me right, that's the name that I was called even before

  96. the foundations of the earth. He knew my name right. In Proverbs eighteen

  97. twenty one, it says death and life are in the power of the tongue,

  98. and those who love it will eat of its fruits. So death and

  99. life are in the power of the tongue, which tells us that there is

  100. power in the spoken word. There's power in the word of God. When

  101. he spoke the earth into existence, he just said a word. Just few

  102. bird verses prior to that, in Proverbs eighteen ten, it says, the

  103. name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous man runs to it

  104. and is safe. Then, just a few verses later, it says,

  105. in verse twenty, from the fruit of a man's mouth, his stomach is

  106. satisfied. He is satisfied by the yield of his lips. I want you

  107. to think about that for a moment. Just meditate on that. He is

  108. satisfied by the yield of his lips. How many times have you felt like

  109. you were going to be satisfied by the use of your lips. How many

  110. times have you used your lips thinking that you will get gratification speaking something that

  111. you thought you could you could say about another person that would somehow make you

  112. feel better. The man is satisfied by the yield of his lips. His

  113. stomach is satisfied by his lips allowing the food. And there's so much power

  114. in what that's saying. I'm going to go to Mark seven. I'm so

  115. glad that we have a minister. We've had several ministers up here that have

  116. these pauses where they look for a verse, because it makes me feel more

  117. comfortable that I can do that. So in Mark seven, verse one,

  118. it says, now, when the Pharisees gathered to him with some of the

  119. scribes who had come from Jerusalem, they saw that some of his disciples ate

  120. with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed. For the Pharisees and

  121. all the Jews do not eat unless they wash their hands properly, holding to

  122. the tradition of the elders. And when they come from the marketplace, they

  123. do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other traditions that they

  124. observe, such as the washing of cups and pots, and copper vessels and

  125. dining couches. And the Pharisees and the scribes asked him, why do your

  126. disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat with defiled

  127. hands. And he said to them, well, did Isaiah prophesy? Well

  128. did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites? As it is written this people honors me

  129. with their lips but their heart is far from me. In vain do they

  130. worship me teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. I feel like what he's

  131. possibly referring to there is you cry out the name of the Lord. You

  132. cry out in vain, you worship me in vain. It says, thou

  133. shallnot take the Lord thy God's name in vain. You worship me in vain,

  134. teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. My name is sanctified, and

  135. you have desanctified my name. You leave the commandment of God and hold to

  136. the tradition of men. And he said to them, you have a fine

  137. way of rejecting the commandment of God in order to establish your tradition. For

  138. Moses said, honor your father and mother, and whoever reviles father and mother

  139. must surely die. But you say, if a man tells his father and

  140. his mother or his mother whatever you would have gained from me as corbin,

  141. which means given to God, then you no longer permit him to do anything

  142. for his father or mother, thus making void the word of God by your

  143. tradition that you have handed down. And many such things you do. And

  144. then he goes on to say, hear me, all of you who understand,

  145. all of you, and understand there is nothing outside a person that going

  146. into him can defile him. But the things that come out of a person

  147. are what defile him. The disciples were confused about what he was meaning.

  148. He was speaking out of He was speaking in parables, and we know that

  149. almost every time he's spoke in parables. The disciples just got super confused.

  150. Those poor guys, right, these guys are just fissures, they're just normal

  151. men. And this this man comes and he's super holy, and he's speaking

  152. in all these these parables, and they're they're just confused. And then he

  153. pulls them to the side. When he entered the how and left the people,

  154. his disciples asked him about the parable, and he said to them,

  155. then are you also without understanding? Do you not see that whatever goes into

  156. a person from outside cannot defile him, since it enters not his heart but

  157. his stomach and is expelled. Thus he declared all foods clean, and he

  158. said, what comes out of a person is what defiles him, for from

  159. within, out of the heart of man. Now that this verse really kind

  160. of scares me a little bit. For from within out of the heart of

  161. man, come evil thoughts, sexual, immorality, theft, murder, adultery,

  162. coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride,

  163. foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.

  164. Lord save me, And it's only by the sanctification of his name,

  165. by asking him to come in, because he knew. He knew that the

  166. sacrifice that he was about to make was going to make an opportunity for us

  167. to sanctify the insides so that what was coming out would no longer be defiled.

  168. That by him living in our spirits, that now all things were going

  169. to flow in and through him, because we've invited him to sanctify the inside.

  170. Father, make us holy like you or holy, Make us one like

  171. you or one. So the word used in seven twenty three Mark seven twenty

  172. three, it says, from within, out of the heart of a man,

  173. come evil thoughts, sexual, immorality, theft, murder, adultery,

  174. and it goes on. The word used in this verse for evil is the

  175. Greek word kaikos, which means inappropriate, armful, or bad, and the

  176. word for thought is from the Greek dielogimus di elogismos, which is not the

  177. same word that would describe a flickering impulse, rather a well thought out plan

  178. or careful deliberation. So he didn't say, out of these things come impulsive

  179. sin. Out of your heart comes impulsive sin. He said, the evil

  180. that comes from your heart is well thought out. It is planned, not

  181. a flickering impulse, rather a well thought plan or careful deliberation. James later

  182. has his own things to say about the tongue and our inability as mankind to

  183. tame the tongue. But thankfully we have the same spirit living inside of us

  184. that raise Jesus from the dead, so we can allow God to tame our

  185. tongue. It's through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, because it's not by

  186. me. I promised. My tongue was not tamed until I got the unfilling

  187. of the Holy Spirit. I didn't know how to speak truth over my life.

  188. I didn't know how to speak truth into the world. I didn't know

  189. how to speak life because I didn't know that life and death are in the

  190. power of the tongue. Because I hadn't been shown the power of the tongue

  191. that didn't come from Man. I hadn't been shown the power of tongue that

  192. only came from God by the endwelling of his spirit. But when I understood

  193. the true power of the tongue from Him, then I knew that every word

  194. that could come from my mouth could flow directly from His throne. And it's

  195. not that I'm special, It's not that any of us are special. But

  196. we have a straight shot directly to the throne of God, and by the

  197. yielding of our lips comes to satisfaction. It's by the yielding of our lips

  198. that we are satisfied. Father, may we yield our lips to you.

  199. So the point that I'm trying to make here is that the importance of the

  200. words that come out of our mouth are reflections of our heart. If we

  201. are made in God's image, then that means that the words that come out

  202. of his mouth also reflect his heart. It reflects his heart in you.

  203. How much of his heart have you allowed to be in you? Because the

  204. words that come out of your mouth are direct reflections of how much of His

  205. heart is flowing in yours. Our names were given to us, just as

  206. He has many names. The names that we call ourselves or allow others to

  207. call us have power. You know. I I'm very public about the fact

  208. that I work a twelve step program, and I was taught to call myself

  209. an alcoholic and an addict, and I highly, highly highly respect the programs.

  210. But I'm recovering. I'm a recovering addict and alcoholic today. In fact,

  211. in the power of Jesus, I'm a recovered alcoholic and addict. So

  212. in the Word of God there are somewhere close to nine hundred and sixty seven.

  213. Promise there's probably more references to the names of God. Of those nine

  214. hundred and sixty seven references, two hundred and seventy five of them refer to

  215. the name yodhey Vovy, or the ineffable name of God. Something really really

  216. powerful about this name. It was the name that wasn't supposed to be spoken

  217. in the Jewish in the Jewish world, it's not supposed to be uttered.

  218. So I did some research, and I went through every book of the Bible,

  219. and I found God, what did you call yourself in these books?

  220. So we're gonna go through them. In Genesis, he's the Almighty God.

  221. In Exodus, he's the I am that I am. In Leviticus, he's

  222. the Jehovah m Kadesh or Jehovah sanctifies. In Numbers, he's the most High.

  223. In Deuteronomy, he's the consuming Fire. In Joshua, he's the God

  224. of Gods. In Judges, he's the Lord of Peace. In Judges,

  225. he's the Lord of Peace. In Ruth, he's the God of recompense.

  226. In First Samuel, he's the Living God. In Second Samuel, he's the

  227. Delivery. In First Kings, he's the God of Hosts. In Second Kings,

  228. he's the God of Israel who In First Chronicles he's the God of Abraham.

  229. In Second Chronicles he's the True God. And Ezra he's the righteous one.

  230. In Nehemiah, he's the Eloah. In Esther, How many of you

  231. know the story of Esther? Okay, I have a lot of connections to

  232. that story in this church. So Esther his name is not mentioned. Did

  233. y'all know that his name is not mentioned in the book of Esther? But

  234. something interesting occurs in the story of Esther. Esther's name was what Hadassah.

  235. She was hiding her name because she knew that her name had power over her

  236. right. It was a Jewish name, and she knew that if her name

  237. was heard, that she would be exposed, she would be found out to

  238. be a Jew. So she hid her name and went by the name Esther.

  239. Well, in Ester five to four, if you go back to the

  240. Hebrew and you look in the middle of that verse, you'll find four words

  241. directly after one another, and each of those words begins with these letters yode

  242. hey vov hey. He hid his name within the book of Esther because he

  243. was partnering with Esther in her mission. Scholars all over the place are like,

  244. oh, God's not mentioned in the book of Esther. Oh, yes

  245. he is, Yes, he is Job. He's the Redeemer in Psalms.

  246. He's Abbah in Proverbs. He's the Great God in Ecclesiastes. He's the Spirit

  247. in Song of Solomon. He's the lover of lovers in Isaiah. He's the

  248. Creator in Jeremiah, he's the Everlasting King. In Lamentations, he's Adanaia and

  249. Ezekiel. He's Jehovah Shamah. In Daniel, he's the Ancient of Days.

  250. We just talked about that last week or week before, last week, week

  251. before, been talked about it in Hoseiah, he's semakh Adamayah, or branch

  252. of the Lord. In Joel, he's the strength of Israel. In Amos,

  253. he who forms mountains Obadiah, he is Yahweh. In Jonah, he's

  254. the God of Heaven. In Micah, he's the breaker. In Nahem,

  255. he's the just judge. In Hubaka, he's the Holy One. In Zephaniah,

  256. he's the God in our midst. In Haggii, he's the desire of

  257. all nations. In Zachariah, he's the only one. In Malachi, he's

  258. the Great King. Now'll get ready, y'all, because that's just the old

  259. covenant. I want you to close your eyes on this one. Jesus,

  260. we acknowledge you. In Matthew, he's the bridegroom. And Mark he's the

  261. great physician. In Luke, he's the dawn from on high. In John

  262. he's the atoning sacrifice. In Acts, he's the author of life. In

  263. Romans, he is everlasting. In First Corinthians, he's the author of peace.

  264. In Second Corinthians, he's the Almighty. In Galatians, he is Jesus

  265. Christ. In Ephesians, he's the chief cornerstone. In Philippians, he's the

  266. Safe. In Colossians, he's the Beginning. In First Thessalonians, he's the

  267. True God. In Second Thessalonians he's He's shoe, who shall establish you.

  268. In First Timothy, he's the Light. In Second Timothy, the abolisher of

  269. death. In Titus, he's our blessed Hope. In Fileeman, he is

  270. the Lord. In Hebrews, he's our high Priest. In James, he

  271. is the father of lights. In First Peter, he's the chief Shepherd.

  272. In Second Peter, he's the day Star. In First John, he's the

  273. Advocate. In Second John, he's the Son of God. In third John,

  274. he is the Name. In Jude he's the Wise God. And in

  275. Revelation he's the Amen. Yeah, you can call it for that. Yeah,

  276. Prasey Jesus, I'm just glad we have a church that's awake, all

  277. right. So I just want to show you one example of the name of

  278. God that has power. And if Jesus cried out to John, and I

  279. mean cried out to God on John seventeen for us to be one like he

  280. and the Father are one, and that means that Jesus' name has power,

  281. just like the name of God. That ceased to be being pronounced publicly before

  282. Christianity existed, Before Christ came the name yodhey vov hey, if you can

  283. put that up on the slide, it's gonna be up there. I have

  284. faith in Micah. It's there we go. So this is yode heyvov hey.

  285. For those of you that don't speak Hebrew, that means yeah, aweh.

  286. We don't even actually know how it was pronounced officially. And I want

  287. to tell you something. The name of God is in our DNA. No

  288. oh, really, it's in our DNA. So just just come come with

  289. me on this journey. We're gonna we're gonna get scientific a little bit.

  290. Forgive me, Lord. The yode has a value of ten in Hebrew.

  291. Because every Hebrew letter has a number attached to it. It's also a letter.

  292. It's a letter and a number. The hey has the number five attached

  293. to it. Bob is six, and hey, we already said it is

  294. five. So it's ten five six five. Did you know in the DNA

  295. mall, in the DNA and the double helix that the sides of the DNA

  296. are made up of a protein called laminin, Thank you Lord, called laminin

  297. and do you know that every ten laminin there's a crossing of an acid base

  298. balance, and then after that one, every five laminin there's a crossing of

  299. an acid base spells. And then every six and then every five, and

  300. then every ten, and then every five, and then every six and every

  301. five, and it does that. So his name is encoded in who you

  302. are. Well, I don't have a picture of Lamanin, but Laminin does

  303. look like a cross. But I found something even more interesting while I was

  304. doing some research this week. Not only does Laminin look like a cross,

  305. but they've been able to take the When DNA is replicated, it has to

  306. be hmm, come on, Lord, it has to be ripped apart and

  307. then put back together again. Where you go to the next slide, Micah,

  308. DNA is ripped apart at the cross, and then it's brought back together

  309. again at the cross. His flesh was ripped apart. He shared in that

  310. expression with us, think about that. This is not by accident, guys,

  311. this is not by accident. The Lord knew that scientists were going to

  312. try to explain away who he was, and he said not today, I'm

  313. putting my son in him. I'm gonna put my son in them, and

  314. they're gonna see the cross everywhere they look. Lead me to the cross,

  315. Lord, and Luke nine twenty three, it says he who comes after me,

  316. let him deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow me.

  317. Lord, Will you recreate our dna to be like you? Lord, there's

  318. something interesting again about the name Yahweh. Can we go back to that Yahweh

  319. slide Micah, the yode, hey, vav Hey, there's something really interesting

  320. about this name. Also, every letter in Hebrew can stand alone and mean

  321. something on its own, and so the hey, which is the one that

  322. looks like a doorway, can mean behold. The yode, which is the

  323. first letter, which they read the opposite way that we do, can mean

  324. hand, and then the vov, the one in the middle of the two

  325. hays, means nail. Behold the hand, behold the nail. The story

  326. of Jesus was told even before he got to this earth is in the name

  327. of his father. Lord, make me one, make us one like you

  328. and the Father are one. We want to be one. Lord. We

  329. want your name to be written in who we are. So I have an

  330. interesting story to tell you. You know, I just started working across kingdom

  331. back. It was right the week of Russiashana, and we had gone to

  332. a fire conference in Houston, Texas and heard some amazing prophetic speakers, one

  333. of which was Chuck Pierce, and we heard him speaking about the year fifty

  334. seven eighty four and that we're going into the year of the Door. So

  335. there's something interesting about the doorway. Can you go to the the two slides

  336. from that one right after the DNA slide, this means Yehudah or Judah.

  337. Notice that the only difference between yodhevav hey or Yahweh and the word Judah is

  338. one letter. It's dollt. It's the one that has the little underline looking

  339. tea underneath it. So all he has to do is insert a door into

  340. his name so that Jesus can come through the tribe of Judah. Don't you

  341. find it interesting that right before the dolet which means door, can mean door

  342. and currently we are in the year fifty seven eighty four, which means the

  343. year of many doors or the year of the door. Don't you find it

  344. interesting that how many characters are there before that? Three father and son and

  345. the Holy Spirit manifest through the door to become the beheld Son of God.

  346. So as I was coming back from Houston. If you know my story,

  347. you those of you that know me really well, know that God doesn't like

  348. to show up in small ways. He likes to blow my mind. And

  349. the thing is is it never gets old. It never gets old, and

  350. I never stop being amazed because I can't ever fathom his true nature. I

  351. can't ever behold all of him. So as we're driving back from Houston,

  352. we're driving and I see in the spirit a big giant like like Susan's painting

  353. that's in the back of the open door. I see a big giant light

  354. and it looks like the doorway is opening. And I say to the Lord,

  355. like Diana's gonna, y'all can look back there. It's really cool.

  356. I see a doorway just like that, and I see the light in the

  357. heavens and I literally see this big giant pillar and it looks like the Lord

  358. is opening the door. And I said, Lord, what are you trying

  359. to say? And he said, Anthony, I've shown you this day.

  360. I showed you this. In two thousand and six, I graduated high school

  361. in two thousand and six, and he said, remember, and I was

  362. really confused. I mean, it was pretty clear. And he said,

  363. I showed you that you would start ministry this week. And I said,

  364. how did you show me that? Lord? Fifty seven eighty four is the

  365. year of the Door. It's the year of the dollet. Every year has

  366. a Hebrew letter attached to it. They go through the twenty two letters and

  367. then cycle again, so we're in the year of the Door. My senior

  368. year of high school, we had to do we had to do a senior

  369. quote and they I don't think that they I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let us

  370. use biblical scripture. I don't know why. And I was kind of upset.

  371. So I just asked the Lord. I said, Lord, I don't

  372. know what quote I'm supposed to use, because I just want to quote you.

  373. And he said, I'm gonna give you a quote, and you're gonna

  374. put your name, and one day you'll understand. And I had forgotten.

  375. I had totally forgotten that conversation that he told me he would reveal it in

  376. time and Chuck Pearce talked about the meaning of time and why time is important

  377. and why this year that we're going into is important. We're walking through the

  378. doorway and he said, Anthony, you're entering into the door and the quote

  379. I can't make this stuff up, the quote that he gave me. Will

  380. you go to the next slide. If you see in the middle or right

  381. at the top right, can y'all read that if time is the key to

  382. life, would someone please show me the door? The door is in the

  383. power of the name of the tribe of Judah, from which the Lord came.

  384. And he said, Anthony, if I would have brought you out any

  385. sooner, it would not have worked. All the things that you went through

  386. you had to go through. You had to walk through them. And he

  387. called me, Anthony, go to the next line. This is the word

  388. Yeshua. And I want you to notice the similarities between Yeshua's name and the

  389. name and the four letter name of God yodey Vave. If you notice the

  390. shin which represents the minora or the seven spirits of God or the fire,

  391. the atonement, it can mean atonement. So if you were to translate these

  392. letters one at a time, h it would say, behold the nail,

  393. which is the atonement in his hand m God sees the atonement of the nail

  394. in the hand. In Acts four to twelve, it says, and there

  395. is salvation in no one else, For there is no other name under heaven

  396. given among which by men must be saved Philippians two nine through eleven. Therefore

  397. God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every

  398. name, so that at the name of Jesus, every niece should bow in

  399. heaven and on earth, and under the earth and under, and every tongue

  400. confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. To the glory of God. The Father

  401. says, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. He said that

  402. your tongue will speak his name. John fourteenth thirteen through fourteen says, whatever

  403. you ask in my name, this I will do. That the Father may

  404. be glorified in the sun. If you ask me anything in my name,

  405. I will do it. Do we believe that? Do we believe that?

  406. Are we walking in the obedience and the belief that anything that we ask in

  407. his name shall be done? I want to. I want to. I

  408. want to believe that everything that I ask in his name, that He'll do

  409. it, And I'll tell you. For the last year and a half,

  410. I'm telling you I've asked a lot of things. I've asked a lot of

  411. things in his name, and he has blown my mind because he doesn't do

  412. it always slowly. Sometimes he says not right now. Sometimes he says,

  413. hey, you haven't even asked for this yet. I'm gonna give it to

  414. you. In Acts three sixteen, we see the lame beggar, heel that

  415. says at his name, by his fight, by and his name, by

  416. faith in his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know.

  417. And the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health

  418. in the presence of you all. In Mark sixteen seventeen, you know what's

  419. funny is in the tradition I was raised in. We got to Mark sixteen

  420. sixteen, and we stopped. Whosoever believes in his baptized shall be saved,

  421. but whoever does not believe shall be condemned. Boom might drop. Well,

  422. there's more. It says, in these signs will accompany them who believe in

  423. My name. They will cast out demons, They will speak in new tongues.

  424. They will pick up serpents with their hands, and if they drink any

  425. deadly poison, it will not hurt them. They will lay hands on the

  426. sick and they will recover. Be baptized, every one of you in the

  427. name of Jesus Christ. You think he might be talking about being baptized in

  428. his name? How many times have we spoken the name of Jesus over people

  429. who were sick? How many times have we baptized people in his name?

  430. I just want the name of Jesus to be spoken over me. I just

  431. want to be saturated in his name. Yes, is he talking about baptism.

  432. Sure? Is he talking about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Sure,

  433. But it's his name. Be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

  434. God can say a whole lot of things in a lot of different ways,

  435. and he can mean a whole lot of things in one sentence. All through

  436. Scripture, we see God change names to signify a new identity. We see

  437. Abram change to Abraham. We see Sarah I changed to Sarah. We see

  438. Jacob to Israel, we see Simon to Peter. And we even see Jesus's

  439. name changed. When he was baptized and he came up out of the water,

  440. a voice from heaven spoke, this is my beloved son in whom I

  441. am well pleased. Not only is he Jesus, not only us see the

  442. one from Nazareth. But not until this day did you recognize that he is

  443. my beloved son. That would be a marked moment for Jesus' ministry. See,

  444. I walked in a different path and part of my life, and I

  445. went and tried to find God in a lot of different arenas, and I

  446. did a lot of different things to get a spiritual experience. And the Lord

  447. said Anthony, I said, Lord, why did you let me go through

  448. all that? I mean seriously, like, why am I still? You

  449. should have stricken me dead? I mean anonia sin safar. They died right

  450. on the spot. I'm like, Lord, why am I not dead on

  451. the ground somewhere and a heap of ashes. And he said, because I

  452. wanted to show you that one day you'd had to put all that stuff down.

  453. And there's not a single ritual you need to do. There's not a

  454. single name you need to call on all you've got to do. You don't

  455. have to walk in a any kind of path, or go meditate or sit

  456. cross leg it or do anything. All you've got to do is speak my

  457. name and I will come, he said. I'll let you get all the

  458. good feelings out of all the things that you were doing. He said,

  459. because I work all things together for good. And he said, but one

  460. day I was gonna tell you to put it all down and trust me that

  461. all you have to do is speak my name and I will come running.

  462. Y'all bear with me. I'm gonna land this in just a moment. As

  463. Justin says, so when we call on his name, his name has the

  464. power to transform. We go from being an abboct or a junkie, or

  465. a dropout, or a sinner, or a lost son, or a troublemaker

  466. or a loser, and we become a new creation in Christ. We become

  467. a child of God. We become a branch of the True Vine. We

  468. become a friend of Jesus. We become justified, redeemed, sanctified, a

  469. temple of the Holy Spirit, and ambassador for Christ. We become chosen m

  470. Even John the Baptist didn't recognize Jesus until that day. In Luke, we

  471. see the blind beggar crying out the name of Jesus Jesus, son of David,

  472. have mercy. Why did he call his name? How many times have

  473. you heard people that don't believe use the name of Jesus. Where do you

  474. think that comes from? Because every person has the living God living inside of

  475. them, and they just haven't awoken to recognizing that it's a free gift that

  476. they get to accept. He's in every one of us, and the true

  477. power of his name is ingrained in all of us. And so when we

  478. get into a place where we're pressured, where the world's telling us this is

  479. who you are, this is who you are, there's fear coming at us,

  480. we get into a car wreck, and what do they scream? They

  481. scream his name, and I say, Jesus have mercy on him. Lord.

  482. I I ask that even when they call on your name, if they

  483. don't know what they're doing, Lord, that you answer the call. Would

  484. you answer the call? Lord? Forgive them Father, for they know not

  485. what they do. M hm. So we're gonna close, Wayne, would

  486. you come up and be on the keys. Really? Thank you for listening.
