  1. Lee for the first time and she I mean for the very first time both

  2. services. So if y'all want to put your hands together for Lisa. Okay,

  3. so y'all extend your hands towards her, you would, Now, I've

  4. never gotten that response. That's okay, babe. It keeps me humble.

  5. So Lord, I just thank you for your word. Father. I thank

  6. you for first service's message. And Lord, I just thank you for peace.

  7. I thank you for strength of her voice. And Lord, just once

  8. again, I asked that you would just flow through her holy spirit, that

  9. she would be the clothes that you wear. Lord, just Gideon, and

  10. I thank you for my wife, my family, or the gifts that you've

  11. put inside of her. And I thank you for the honor and the privilege

  12. of running in the kingdom with her. In Jesus' name and menn Wow,

  13. okay, Oh, I don't know why I feel a little bit more nervous

  14. this service. I don't know. There's more faces, more people, But

  15. I just want to say that I am really, actually thankful and grateful to

  16. be here today. This is not something I ever wanted to do. I'm

  17. just going to share that with you right now. But I want to be

  18. obedient to the Lord, and he's been putting a message on my heart.

  19. But yeah, having a platform is not anything I've ever desired to have.

  20. But because I love the Lord, i am here. And so as I

  21. was preparing for this message, actually probably months and months ago, I was

  22. like, Okay, Lord, if you really want me to speak, how

  23. do I do this? This is not something that I'm very comfortable with.

  24. And he just said, speak to them as if you were speaking to your

  25. boys, as a mother with a mother's heart, and I was like that

  26. simple, like, can I really speak to you all? Come to you

  27. today as a mother. I love my children so incredibly much and I love

  28. y'all as well, and so I'm coming here today as a mother with a

  29. message on my heart that the Lord's been speaking to me about. So the

  30. Lord speaks to me in seasons. I don't know about each of you seasons

  31. of life. And this last season that Justin and I went through with ministry

  32. was really difficult. I know a lot of you just see us on Sunday

  33. morning and we're happy and life looks great, but behind the scenes, it's

  34. not always easy. And I love you all, but sometimes dealing with your

  35. stuff is not easy. I'm just gonna tell you right now, and please

  36. do not take offits to that. Okay, We're all going through things and

  37. so in this season, yeah, Anthony, so yeah, So this season

  38. has been a struggle for me. And I was like, Lord, what

  39. are you saying to me? And He's been talking to me about the renewing

  40. of my mind. The last song Lion of Judah is like, how do

  41. you want to how do we get the valleys to raise up in the mountains

  42. to come down. It's through the renewing of your mind. It's through your

  43. perspective, It's through how you see life challenges. And so the Lord has

  44. been speaking to me about that in my challenges in life. And one day

  45. I was driving down this road and Justin loves to call it intercessory whining,

  46. and so that's exactly what I was doing. I was like, Lord,

  47. why are we dealing with this difficult situation? And these people are hurting me

  48. and you know, all this stuff, and like all this turmoil was going

  49. on in my heart. And so as I'm praying slash whining to the Lord,

  50. I hear him say in my spirit. So when the Lord speaks to

  51. me and my spirit, I hear him here? Does that make sense?

  52. I don't necessarily hear him up here? So this is what I get this

  53. download. He says, you can't move forward into this new season keeping your

  54. old ways of thinking. Those roots have to be dug up. You can't

  55. go into this new season with the fear Man. And I was like,

  56. wait a second. So as I was driving, whining, praying, the

  57. Lord brought to memory the new land, the new land. Some of you

  58. are guests here and you might not know that, but the church has been

  59. blessed with twenty five acres so that we can go from this, we can

  60. build a campus. And we are just so humbled and grateful for what the

  61. Lord is doing. And on this new land there was about one hundred and

  62. fifty beautiful oak trees that got diseased and had to be chopped down, which

  63. was really heartbreaking. But I love to go out there and I love to

  64. walk the land. I love to pray and thank the Lord for the land

  65. that He's given us. And so one day I was out there and there's

  66. this huge I mean, some of these trees were massive, and so I

  67. just did because they were all chopped down, just straight flat with the ground.

  68. So I'm standing on a stump looking down and I'm like, huh interesting,

  69. Like I felt like a little tree. And the Lord was like,

  70. those have to go. Those roots have to go the land. You can't

  71. build on the land over roots. And so that's what he was showing me

  72. when he was saying, you can't go into this new season with the old

  73. mindset, the old way of thinking. I was like, okay, interesting.

  74. So I went out there probably a few weeks after that, and the

  75. land is being cleared. All of those one hundred and fifty roots had to

  76. be dug out, and so I went out there and some of these roots

  77. that they pulled out, I mean are massive. They're full of dirt and

  78. rocks. I mean they're gnarly roots, and they left massive holes in the

  79. ground. And so the Lord was showing me my old way of thinking,

  80. my mindsets that are not rooted in him, to be dug out. And

  81. it was painful, and it made me have to look deep inside my stuff,

  82. my yuck, and look at what is it that I'm holding on too.

  83. So that painful season, that painful situation, I was like, what

  84. is it. That's when he said it's the fear of man. See.

  85. In a healthy Lisa, I love people. I mean I really love people,

  86. even difficult people. I really love you. But in an unhealthy Lisa

  87. becomes a people pleaser because why because I don't want to disappoint you. I

  88. don't want to let you down. But what I do, what we all

  89. might Doccasionally we pit ourselves the face that we don't belong. It's not my

  90. job to please all of you. It's not Justin's job, it's not Anthony's

  91. job, Wayne's job. So in an unhealthy place, I start focusing on

  92. what if I don't do this and so and so gets upset with me?

  93. Or did I greet everyone at church? Oh? No, I miss someone,

  94. they're a visitor. Maybe they're going to be offended. DC do any

  95. of y'all recognize this in your own self? So that was a challenge.

  96. I was going through this, and I was realizing I wasn't focused on the

  97. Lord. I was focused on this situation. And so the Lord said,

  98. Nope, this is painful, but you've got to uproot this old way of

  99. thinking. We're going to start working on the renewing of your mind. And

  100. I'm telling you it was not easy, Justin and I spent a lot of

  101. evenings crying, frustrated, all all kinds of stuff. And so so this

  102. is interesting because you know, I didn't really know that all of those roots

  103. out at the land had to be uprooted. And they're like, oh,

  104. yeah, because if you build a road over it, if you build anything

  105. over it, that those trees could spring up again. And I was like,

  106. okay, interesting, and I was thinking about my heart again. Why

  107. the Lord said that these old, these roots, these old ways of thinking

  108. had to be dug out. This is what he showed me. It's job

  109. fourteen seven through nine. So for there is a hope for a tree,

  110. if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its

  111. shoots will not cease, though its roots grow old in the earth and it's

  112. die in the soil, yet at the scent of water, it will bud

  113. and put out branches like a young plant. Now this passage is talking about

  114. the hope and the Lord, but the Lord was also showing me. At

  115. the hint of me thinking oh uh, oh, did I hurt Susan's feelings

  116. or Justin's feelings, I would go back that root that was to the ground

  117. in my heart. I could go back at the thought, the scent of

  118. maybe I didn't please someone, that old way of thinking would just bust right

  119. up. Do you see what I'm saying? And that's when the Lord said,

  120. that's why it has to be dug out. You can't leave it in,

  121. cannot leave it in your heart. So I was like, Okay,

  122. this is gonna be fun. I'm like, oh Lord, you know,

  123. we say prayers like you know, I want to see the miraculous. I

  124. want to experience God move. But that means that you have to come to

  125. a point in your life where you're coming to a challenge an issue. I

  126. call it like a red Sea moment. We all say, oh yeah,

  127. we want to be a people that sees miracles, do you Because that means

  128. that you're facing the giant, You're facing the red Sea. You don't have

  129. anywhere to go. You have to put your full trust in the Lord.

  130. So through this process, I'm like, Okay, Lord, I'm going to

  131. trust you. So I want to talk a little bit about where do thoughts

  132. come from? Where do these mindsets come from? So for years I literally

  133. thought my thoughts were just my thoughts, nothing else, and years ago,

  134. before we had started the church, Justin was teaching a Sunday evening class and

  135. he was talking about thoughts and something called a familiar spirit, and I thought

  136. he was crazy. Sometimes I still think he's a little crazy. Okay,

  137. So he's talking about familiar spirits and how it sounds like you and I'm sitting

  138. here and I started arguing with him. I was like, my thoughts are

  139. my own. I don't know what you're talking about. And he's like,

  140. no, Lucy, you don't know what you're talking about because blah blah blah

  141. blah. And so I was like, okay, lord, I don't understand

  142. this. So you're gonna have to show me what a familiar spirit is because

  143. I believe my thoughts are my own. So fast forward two weeks go by.

  144. We were going to a church in Fredericksburg and it was Sunday morning.

  145. We woke up. Everybody's in a good mood, the kids have gotten ready

  146. for church, and I am about to blow dry my hair. Y'all are

  147. gonna love this poor Justin. So Justin comes walking into the there I'm like

  148. you would normally do getting ready, comes walking in and I look up and

  149. I look at him, and this thought hits my mind and it says,

  150. he is so annoying. Why can't I ever have any privacy? And I

  151. went, yeah, he is. And then I lashed out at him and

  152. I literally verbeted him, said you are so annoying? Why can't I have

  153. any privacy? And then the Lord said that is your familiar spirit? And

  154. I went, oh, my gosh, and his eyes got real big,

  155. like what did I do? And I said, I said, I am

  156. so sorry. Please forgive me. I don't even know why I did that.

  157. And the Lord was showing me like, this is what he was talking

  158. about. Not all your thoughts are your own. But did you see that

  159. the thought came to me. I came into agreement with it. I said,

  160. yes, Justin is annoying. And then I attacked. Okay, and

  161. I'm like oh, I was like, oh, I'm so sorry. So

  162. let me read a Fusion six sixteen. So it says, in all circumstances,

  163. take up the shield of faith, which with which you can extinguish all

  164. the flaming darts of the evil one. So in this passage, Paul is

  165. comparing the attacks of the enemy to flaming darts. Right so flaming darts or

  166. arrows. They could represent temptations, doubts, lies, or other spiritual texts.

  167. Can any of you relate to this where you're just minding your own business

  168. and all of a sudden boom a thought comes and you're like, what the

  169. heck is that is that me? I'll give you another example, and this

  170. one was hard because I thought something was really wrong with me. Is two

  171. weeks old, my oldest. He's now nineteen. I'm a very happy,

  172. peaceful person. I've never dealt with depression, thank you lord. Yes,

  173. I've had bouts of sadness and things like that. So I have coal and

  174. I had gone upstairs to get in and as I'm walking down the stairs,

  175. I am bombarded by this thought, drop him, drop him. And I

  176. thought, oh, oh my gosh, this must be postpartum depression. There

  177. must be something wrong with me. I did not realize until years later.

  178. And of course I did not drop him, just so you know I had

  179. not dropped him. I was like, oh, no, something's wrong with

  180. me. No, that is a fiery, fiery arrow that enemy wants to

  181. still kill and destroy. Where does he start The battle is for your mind?

  182. If he can get you to come into to agreement with him. It

  183. becomes a thought and then it becomes an action. Does that make sense to

  184. you? Okay, okay, So let's go to Second Corinthians ten three through

  185. six. So this is how you're going to combat this. So it says,

  186. for though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according

  187. to the flesh, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh,

  188. but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments in every lofty

  189. opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey

  190. Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience when your obedience is complete. So

  191. how do you battle this? You have to take every thought captive. You

  192. have to take your thoughts. You have to I think about your thinking first

  193. of all. Then you have to take your thoughts, and you have to

  194. say, well, Lord, is this you? What is the voice of

  195. the Father love peace. He's gentle, he's kind, he's encouraging. What's

  196. the voice of the enemy. He accuses you, he shames you, he

  197. instills fear in you. He tells you you're not good enough. Weigh that,

  198. then you've got your own voice as well. You have to start learning

  199. to know the difference between the voices in your head. Yeah. Not every

  200. thought is your thought, okay. And so when a thought comes in,

  201. like I said, you have the choice you can come into agreement with it.

  202. When you come into an agreement with the voice of the enemy, the

  203. thoughts of the enemy, you start building strongholds. Okay. So with stronghold

  204. holds, that's like a fortified city. It's like a castle that you're building

  205. around your heart in your mind. I'm not good enough. I'm not good

  206. enough. Guess what You're gonna live the rest of your life believing you're not

  207. good enough? Or parents, I gotta talk to you. The Lord convicted

  208. me big time. When Micah was eight years old, michaeh, you gotta

  209. stand up this kid right here, Come on, stand up. Look at

  210. this now you can well, you can stand up right there. This kid

  211. right here, This is Micah. This is my youngest. He's fifteen.

  212. But when he was eight years old, woo. Those of you that knew

  213. Micah, there's quite a few of you that knew Micah when he was little.

  214. He was a handful and I literally was like, oh Lord, help

  215. you here. I was like he was so much fun, so full of

  216. life, but he he had some behavior challenges. Any parents can, can

  217. you you know, relate to that, and so, you know, he

  218. would make a mistake or he would have a little fit and I'd be like,

  219. Micah, why are you doing that and just like go to the negative,

  220. you know, punishment or whatever. And the Lord was like, stop

  221. it now, and I was like ooh, and he was like, start

  222. speaking life over him. Change the way I see his behavior, see him

  223. through a new filter, a filter that the Lord sees him. Who is

  224. he? Who is he becoming? And so the Lord instead of you know,

  225. Michael would maybe have a little meltdown and I would get down and I

  226. would say, hey, Michah, this isn't who you are. You are

  227. kind, you are gentle, you are patient, you know, and I'd

  228. go through speaking the Father's heart over him, and he would just look at

  229. me like didn't I just do something really bad? And you know, I

  230. just started speaking life and to see how that has changed his life, because

  231. once you speak the power of life and death, it's in your words,

  232. it's in your tongue. If you speak oh, you're such a naughty kid,

  233. or you're you know, I don't know, whatever it is, you

  234. can fill in the blank. There's so many things you're not good enough,

  235. you'll never succeed. And here's the thing, a lot of this comes from

  236. our own inner voice. How many of you tell yourself you're not good enough,

  237. you're broken, you're never going to whatever it is. That's not the

  238. voice of the father, y'all. So we know that strongholds, they're not

  239. built overnight, and they're also not torn down overnight. These strongholds, like

  240. I said, they come through repeated thoughts, experiences, and influences. That's

  241. why I'm talking to you parents. It's so important, y'all, that we

  242. build godly beautiful thoughts in our children, not the strongholds that the enemy wants

  243. us to instill in them. So I want to talk to you again about

  244. how do we break these strongholds so even though they might look and feel like

  245. they're unbeatable, that they're going to be like so difficult to overcome. We're

  246. talking about all the stuff, all your life challenges. This is what as

  247. followers of Christ again Second Corinthians ten four, we possess the authority and power

  248. to tear down these strongholds through the weapons of our warfare, which are not

  249. carnal, but in God for pulling down strongholds through prayer, worship and the

  250. truth of God's word those empty places. So once you dig out those roots

  251. of bitterness, whatever it is, you've got to fill that back in.

  252. You can't leave it empty. So you do that by the Word of God,

  253. by prayer, worship, and through that we can demolish every argument and

  254. pretension that sets itself against the knowledge of God. How by taking every thought

  255. captive. Okay, So I want to talk about this story because I was

  256. like, man, sometimes I feel like I'm not very good at doing this,

  257. and I get struck, you know, I get kind of like down

  258. on myself. And the Lord had me watch a teaching by Bill Johnson and

  259. he was talking also about mindsets and things, and so I love this story.

  260. It's Matthew sixteen five through twelve. So this is the Disciples. They

  261. had just seen the Lord. I mean, he's done all these miracles,

  262. healings, he's fed the four thousand, he's fed the five thousand, and

  263. now they're headed to another region. Okay, So when the Disciples reached the

  264. other side, they had forgotten to bring any bread. Jesus said to them,

  265. watch and beware of the loaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees. And

  266. they began discussing it among themselves, saying, we brought no bread. This

  267. makes me laugh. I'm like, y'all, they were just with Jesus when

  268. he fed the thousands with a few loafs and a few fish, and they're

  269. literally having this discussion about not having bread, and I'm just like, oh

  270. my, So Jesus says, Jesus is aware of this, and he says,

  271. oh, you of little faith, why are you discussing among yourselves the

  272. fact that you have no bread? Do you not perceive? Do you not

  273. remember the five loaves for the five thousand and how many baskets you gathered,

  274. or the seven loaves for the four thousand and how many baskets you gathered?

  275. Yeah? How many times in our life do we go through a situation,

  276. a scenario and we make it through, and then we're going back around the

  277. mountain and then we get to the situation again and then we start stressing out,

  278. freaking out, going, oh no, I don't have enough money for

  279. the bills. But wait, didn't the Lord just provide for you back here?

  280. Yes, and you're walking with the Lord and you're with him here,

  281. you're facing your red seat. But yet do you not perceive? Do you

  282. not see? I laugh at I'm laughing with Shay right now because she and

  283. I am. If you're a visitor here, we have a amazing little nonprofit

  284. Come Mercy Gate Ministries that walks with beautiful women that have gone through really hard

  285. things, and so Chae and I it's our responsibility to make sure that it

  286. stays afloat by raising funds. And let me tell you, neither one of

  287. us enjoy raising funds. Okay, we did not do this to raise money.

  288. H we do not like it. So twice a year we have a

  289. fundraiser and each year we whining complain because we're like, not again, not

  290. again. And so Shaye and I were having a moment and we were kind

  291. of whining and complaining, maybe one more than the other, I don't know,

  292. and She's like, ah, this is not gonna be good, blah

  293. blah blah blah blah. And I was like, wait a second, didn't

  294. we say this the last fundraiser? And look what the Lord did? He

  295. blew it out of the waters. It was the best fundraiser we had ever

  296. had, and I was like, oh, look we're going around the mountain

  297. again. We're here again. So now we have a choice. So now

  298. we have a choice of trusting the Lord or taking that control, stressing out,

  299. freaking out, throwing a little hissy fit, whatever we do, because

  300. that's kind of what I do. And so you're gonna get chance after chance

  301. after chance. Wouldn't it be easier on you, your heart, your mind,

  302. your emotions if the next time you get to that place you go,

  303. oh, I remember. See. This is why it's important to have a

  304. book of remembrance journal. Start writing down all the beautiful, miraculous things that

  305. the Lord has done in your life. So when you get to that place,

  306. you can go, oh, I remember when, and look how the

  307. Lord showed up. He did it. Then he's going to do it again.

  308. It's not always going to look the same, but it's okay. So

  309. I'm going to share this today. I have a little bit more time than

  310. what I had last time. I'm going to quickly share the story that I

  311. didn't share in the first service because one of my biggest struggles has been trusting

  312. the Lord with finances. So back in two thousand and eight, well maybe

  313. it was two thousand and seven, life was good. We were building spec

  314. homes, we were building custom homes. Life was good. Didn't have many

  315. worries at that time. Financially, well any of you that know. Back

  316. in two thousand and eight, two thousand and nine, the economy just crashed,

  317. so Justin and I were left with two spec homes and all of our

  318. savings just being poured into keeping those afloat. I got really sick with a

  319. health a couple of health challenges, and it felt like we were being punished

  320. because honestly, we lost everything, and so much so that we had to

  321. move to Colorado because Justin couldn't even get hired for a job anywhere here.

  322. I'm now pregnant, so I go through a health challenge. The doctor says,

  323. hey, you've got this, and I hope you have insurance and do

  324. not get pregnant. And I was like, oh no, my life is

  325. over, okay, And then now I found out I'm pregnant, and now

  326. they can't help treat whatever I was going through. Not that I would have

  327. done it anyways, because I was not going to do their protocol. So

  328. we have to move to Colorado, have to leave my family, my safety

  329. net, my friends, to go to Colorado with a five month old baby

  330. and a four year old and I'm stuck in this little bitty apartment justice work.

  331. Justin's working his tail off and he's doing a night shift and he was

  332. coming home and I was like, you look like death worn over. I

  333. mean, he was pale. I was like, this is not how I

  334. want to live. We were there eleven months, but I'm just gonna tell

  335. you I was mad. I was so angry. I felt like I was

  336. being punished. I felt like God wasn't showing up for us. I was

  337. like, what did we do to deserve this? And I wasn't getting along

  338. with Justin all that well, because Justin's my safe person. If I'm going

  339. to be mad at someone, it's gonna be Justin. Poor guy. I'm

  340. getting much better, but you know, you understand marriages, right, So

  341. the Lord's working on me because we'll like it feels like maybe we can pay

  342. our bills. And then the next month, because then he started working a

  343. job with commission and we're down to nothing. So I'm like, it's a

  344. repeat, it's the cycle. I'm going around that mountain. So what happened

  345. in Texas? Now here we are again in Colorado. But I don't have

  346. my family, I don't have my friends there. And I remember I'd gotten

  347. a card in the mail and my Nana, my sweet little Nana, had

  348. sent me forty dollars. That was the only money we had, forty dollars.

  349. I'm telling you we were probably negative. I don't even know because I

  350. refuse to look in the bank account. So I've got forty dollars and I'm

  351. like, we need gas in the car, and I need milk for the

  352. kiddos. The church that we went to, those of you that know Rich

  353. harais it was his church. We met on Saturday nights. And I show

  354. up, Justin's playing the drums and I've got my forty dollars in my purse

  355. and I'm like, okay, I'm getting gas and milk. That's what I'm

  356. doing with this forty dollars. Well, the Lord's putting on my heart give

  357. it away. And I'm like, no, I mean, I know it's

  358. only forty dollars, but that's all we had. Jobs Like, I am

  359. not giving that away you know that battle. It was like, no,

  360. give it away. So I take my forty dollars and I'm like, I

  361. cannot believe I'm doing this. I march myself up. They had baskets and

  362. I throw that forty dollars in there. I'm like, great, I don't

  363. even have gas to get home. So Justin gets done with the drums and

  364. he comes and I said, hey, do you think the Lord could fill

  365. up my gas tank? And he goes, what do you mean. I

  366. said, well, I gave away our last forty dollars and he goes,

  367. well, did the Lord tell you to? And I was like, yeah,

  368. I think so. I wouldn't have done it. And he was like,

  369. then just let it be, so service is over. I'm literally putting

  370. Micah because Micah was still a baby in a car seat. I'm putting him

  371. in the car seat and Justin comes over and taps me on the shoulder and

  372. he goes, here you go, and it's forty dollars. And I was

  373. like, oh my gosh, you went and took it out of the basket.

  374. That's what I thought he did. And he was like, no,

  375. I didn't do that, and I was like, whoo okay, good.

  376. I said, well, where did you get Where'd you get this forty dollars?

  377. And he said, Lisa, you see that lady over there, I'm

  378. like, yeah. She came up to Justin and said, hey, the

  379. moment your wife walked through the door, the Lord told me to give you

  380. forty dollars, and I just lost it. I went up to this lady

  381. and I said, you don't understand, Like I didn't even know walking in

  382. that it was going to give the forty dollars. But the Lord knew that

  383. he was going to give me the challenge. He was going to give me

  384. the challenge. And then I had a choice. Do you see that?

  385. Like you all have challenges and you all have choices to make. So in

  386. that moment, even though that was the hardest thing for me at that time,

  387. because I had my precious little boys and I had no idea how we

  388. were going to provide for them, but the Lord gave me a challenge,

  389. and I said, Okay, Lord, I'm going to choose you and I'm

  390. going to trust you, and I gave him everything we had. He had

  391. already provided a way to meet our needs. Yeah, it was just forty

  392. dollars. But you have no idea. Had it been one hundred dollars,

  393. I don't think it would have been more impactful than the forty dollars. Y'all.

  394. It meant everything. It changed my life. And have we had struggles

  395. since then? Absolutely we have. But God is so good. So each

  396. challenge that we come up to, I'm like, oh, I remember,

  397. I remember when the Lord did that. I don't have to stress out.

  398. I can trust him with it all. Do you understand giving everything is more

  399. than the wealthy and the Bible when they were giving, you know, they

  400. could give a lot, but it was the widow in her might that the

  401. Lord said, this is more than anything, because it's all that she had.

  402. Now I'm not even talking about finances here. I'm talking about your heart.

  403. It's giving your everything, your heart to him. He's gonna challenge you.

  404. See, my treasure was in the finances. My security was in the

  405. finances, not about forty dollars. Is very secure, but that's all I

  406. had. Okay, So okay, I've got to share this. So in

  407. that teaching I was watching with Bill Johnson, he says, once you have

  408. seen supernatural supply, you have lost any right to start any thought process with

  409. what you don't have. Let that sink in. Yes, once you have

  410. seen supernatural supply, you have lost any right to start any thought process with

  411. what you don't have. So miracles they require change, change of mind,

  412. change of thought, change of perspective. Right, So instead of I'm so

  413. sick, no, I'm healed in Jesus' name. He paid for my healing.

  414. He bore our stripes. Okay, I don't have enough. No,

  415. he supplies all my needs. So listen to this bill says a renewed mind

  416. is like the banks of a river. So it creates a place for faith

  417. to flow in. Right, and it always works with faith. So faith

  418. sees faith perceives in the renewed mind will always function in the perception of what

  419. faith sees. The renewed mind makes possible for the miraculous. You know you

  420. have a renewed mind when the impossible looks logical. Does that make sense?

  421. I'm at the end of my rope. There's no way, we have nothing

  422. left. We only have forty dollars. What are we gonna do? Oh

  423. no, that's a lie. He supplies all of my needs. Period.

  424. The renewed mind is anchored in God's word. You can't have a renewed mind

  425. if you're not going to the word of God and hearing his truths. Wash

  426. over you, wash over you, in you, and get rooted in your

  427. heart. So Proverbs twenty three seven it says, for as a man thinketh

  428. in his heart, so is he. Do you see why it's so important

  429. to think about what you're thinking about? How are you thinking about yourself?

  430. What do you think about your spouse, your children, your job situation,

  431. your parents. Yeah, life is hard. We're all gonna have a lot

  432. of challenges. I'm never gonna tell you it's gonna get easier, but guess

  433. what, it can get easier, and here it can get easier, and

  434. here you're gonna have challenges regardless. The Lord didn't say he came to take

  435. away all your challe You're never gonna struggle in life. No, He's given

  436. us a way to face the challenges. It's him, it's his word.

  437. So I I don't know about y'all. Any of y'all have heard of doctor

  438. Caroline Leaf? Anybody you knew what? Okay? I love this woman.

  439. She is amazing. In fact, sometimes I have to put her on like

  440. like slow mode. Because she's so smart. She is a brain scientist.

  441. So she talks about the brain and thought and what positive thoughts they literally form

  442. trees. They form trees in your brain. Negative thoughts form really gnarly,

  443. nasty, black, dead looking trees. So she says, it takes your

  444. brain twenty one days to create a new thought pathway. And Kylie, I

  445. know you know a lot more about this. In fact, I think it

  446. would be amazing if maybe one day you teach on some of that, because

  447. it's so deep. I can't even get into it. We don't even have

  448. time. I've got four minutes, but it is amazing. So here's my

  449. challenge to you is I want every single one of you here to live an

  450. abundant life. And if the battles for your mind and you're not having an

  451. abundant life in your mind, in your thought life, how are you gonna

  452. live an abundant life. If you're constantly dealing with the negative, I'm never

  453. gonna amount to anything. We're always gonna be broke, I'm always gonna be

  454. sick. Well, guess what you're setting yourself up for? That you really

  455. are. So when you change your mindset, there's power in that the Lord

  456. said he gave you the mind of Christ. You have the Holy Spirit inside

  457. of you. You are able and capable of changing all of that. So

  458. my challenge to you is, I want you to take the next twenty one

  459. days. I print off a calendar. I just went to Google. I

  460. printed one off for myself, and I want you to take one thought.

  461. I don't want you to go into all the thoughts that you're battling with.

  462. I want you to go take one thought. In fact, take a moment.

  463. A lot of you probably already know what that thought is that you struggle

  464. with. I want you to take that one thought. I want you to

  465. be so mindful of it that when it pops into your mind, you say,

  466. no, I do not receive that. I do have enough. I

  467. am healed, whatever it is. And I want you to go day by

  468. day and check off, did I take my thoughts captive? Did I change?

  469. Did I flip the way I was thinking about things? And in twenty

  470. one days? It takes twenty one days to create that new pathway. It's

  471. like a river. It's a new pathway the way that you think, and

  472. that is what's going to give you the change. Okay, So here's here's

  473. some things. One of the things that the Lord has me do when I'm

  474. really struggling in an area is speaking. Like I said earlier, the power

  475. of life and death are in your tongue. So if you're battling something,

  476. make a declaration. So here here's an example. So if I'm battling the

  477. fear of lack, my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches

  478. in Glory by Jesus Christ. I reject the lie of lack, and I

  479. embrace the truth of abundance as Jehovah Jirah meets and exceeds every need and expectation.

  480. So do you see how if you're battling with lack, you speak the

  481. life over you. So I'm asking are y'all willing to do this challenge?

  482. Are you willing? Do you want areas of your life to change? Okay?

  483. So twenty one days I'm challenging you to do that, And could we

  484. get the prayer teams to come on up. I want y'all to take a

  485. moment just in silence, and I want you to think about what is it

  486. you're struggling with it? What is the battle in your mind right now?

  487. What is that thought that you need to take captive and bring it into the

  488. obedience of Christ. If you have something you're struggling with, you don't have

  489. to do it alone. There's hope, y'all. His name is Jesus,

  490. and he changes life. And you've got people all around you that are willing

  491. to walk with you, encourage you. Call a friend if you're battling and

  492. you're like, I can't do this alone. I've got my friends. I've

  493. got Jill, I got Jay, I got Carla. We got friends all

  494. around that I'm like, help me. And friends bring a new perspective.

  495. They can love you right where you are, but they can speak hard truth.

  496. But because you can trust them, you know that you can share your

  497. heart. So don't do this alone. But if you want change in your

  498. life, go after those bitter roots, those deep rooted things, and be

  499. willing to let the Lord dig them up. So I just I'm so grateful

  500. that I was able to speak. I'm going to close in prayer, and

  501. then as you need prayer up here, just please come so heavenly Father Lord,

  502. we just thank you. I thank you that you are such a good

  503. father. I thank you that your mercies are new every single morning that you

  504. thank you for listening. For more messages and other resources, please subscribe to
