Hide And Seek!

I love you anyways. Okay, so this morning, actually Kylie seiphered is

going to bring the word and somehow, Kylie, I think you have about

the same amount of time as for service. Okay, if you can turn

your bell pack on, don't worry, it's almost over. You're on.

Okay. If you all extend your hands towards her. Lord, we thank

you for Kylie. Lord. I thank you for the message you've put on

her heart. Lord, I thank you for the hide and seek, and

I thank you that you always hide things in plain sight so those that are

humble, hungry, and teachable find the mysteries. So Lord bless her this

morning. May she flow in a spirit of wisdom and revelation, and that

the eyes of our hearts would be enlightened and our minds would be open to

your word in Jesus' mighty name. Amen, Amen, thank you, good

afternoon, Good to be with you. Basically, between first of all,

can we just say thank you to the worship team. They always do such

an amazing job leading us. Since O God's card links and that's sensitivity to

the Holy Spirit. I always appreciate between the worship team and some of the

ministry time that justin had and the transition. Really, the message that the

Lord has given me has already been preached, so we'll just In fact,

I was sitting in the back actually, second or third song in I heard

your name is like honey on my lips before and then first service they didn't

even singing that song. I was like, Oh, I love how the

Holy Spirit moves and works and he's speaking. But when I was sitting there,

I felt like the Lord said, no, the atmosphere is primed.

Yes, a lot of things have already been said that we're in my notes,

but that atmosphere is only prime to go deeper. So if you're ready

and dive in with me, today's message is titled hide and Seek, Bill

Johnson said, and I'm paraphrasing, no matter the season that we're in,

as we walk through different seasons, God is inviting us to learn about an

aspect of his character. It doesn't have to be a hard season. It

could be a season of breakthrough or a season of rest or a season of

joy. But if we're in that season and we're seeking him, we have

an opportunity to learn something about the aspect of who he is. At the

beginning of this year. Justin said that the Lord told him that this was

a year of I was gonna ask him to say the whole thing. He

disappeared. It was a long thing. But at the very end, we

do hard things. And I remember when he said that, it was as

if somebody was offering me just something bitter. And I was like, oh,

no, thank you. I do not think that's for me. That

can be for him. I don't know about you, But twenty twenty four

has been full of hard things. I would almost say nothing but hard things.

And it's not that those things were said. And now because we said

we do hard things, now the season's full of hard things. It was

God preparing us. You can There are hard things ahead, but you can

do them. I started looking back at some of the things that had been

spoken here across the kingdom, some of the words that have been brought.

At the end of twenty twenty three, beginning of twenty twenty four, Justin

was preaching and teaching on the clash of the kingdoms. How many are seeing

that right now? Then the Lord gave him a word, said, there

are giants in the land, but the grapes are worth it. How many

are contending and taking new ground right now, and you're facing warfare and you're

seeing those giants. But that was a word to prepare us for where we're

at right now. After that, he was speaking on knowing the times and

seasons that we're in. It's important that we know and understand the times and

seasons that we're in so we don't bail, That we have the right battle

plan, that we know what God is telling us to do and how to

walk it out. Otherwise we grow weak and weary and we bail. So

it's important that we know the times and seasons. Then after that, Kim

spoke on having a hunger for the Word of God, immersing ourselves in his

word and his truth. This is our sword, this is our truth.

If we're not in this word, we can easily be deceived. We can

easily start becoming believing the lives. It's important that this is what we're what

we're focusing on and meditating on. Shortly after that, the Lord had given

me the word that I shared on the fear of God, not fearing man,

not even fearing the enemy, but being having a holy, reverential awe

and fear of God. If we don't then when we look out, when

we're surrounded by our enemies, we'll grow weary, we'll panic. So it's

important that we understand what it looks like to fear God. After that,

one of the things that was shared was Lisa shared on the importance of being

aware of our thinking and taking our thoughts captive. The enemies after your thought

life, He'll make it seem like it's your thoughts. But if we're not

immersing ourselves in this truth, and we're not paying attention to what we're thinking,

then we'll believe the lives and we'll get tired and weary and not be

in the right battle plan. And then last week she shared on knowing and

understanding the cost of the cross, the blood of Jesus, what it costs

to atone for us. Do you see the theme? The Lord's been preparing

us every step of the way for what we need. He knows exactly what

we need. All we have to do is seek him. You were made

for battle, We were made for battle. You can do this. It

gets hard, it gets messy, it gets ugly, gets tiring. I'm

not here to tell you that the enemy's waging where I'm here to tell you

that God's victorious, and that he lives inside of you and you're victorious.

Yes, David wrote a majority of the Psalms. And David is also the

one that fought Goliath. He was a shepherd tending his sheep in the field,

and he went to deliver food and goods to his brothers and saw this

giant standing there mocking God. Because of the time that David had spent in

God's presence and the fear of God that he had, he wasn't putting up

with what the enemy was taunting his God. And he spoke to Goliath and

said, the battle is the Lord's and he will give you into our hands.

A lot of times we look at that and we're like, well,

that is courageous. I'd like to proposed to you that it was confidence.

It was confidence because he had been spending time with his God. My husband

and I have been married for eighteen years. If we go into a restaurant

and he has to step away before they take his order, I know exactly

what I could order for him. Why, because I know what he likes.

I've been with him, I've spent time with him. Now, if

I was sitting at a restaurant with you, and you had to step away

and I ordered for you. That would take courage, But for the one

I know, it's confidence. David knew that his God was a warrior,

and he knew that his God was victorious. I don't know about you,

but based on the amount of you that came up for prayer, that you're

weary. First of all, I'd like to thank you for your obedience because

I felt like I was in good company. But it has been a tough

season. Has it been tough for anybody? We are in good company.

Here's the thing, though, When we're taking ground, the enemy is not

going to roll over and just give it up. He's gonna put up a

fight, and it's our job to immerse ourselves in God's presence, get his

battle plan, fight with his word. We do not fight against flesh and

blood. We don't even fight in our own flesh and blood. This is

a spiritual battle. And if we're using the wrong tools, we're guaranteed a

loss and a defeat. But when we use the right tools and we fight

the way He's called us to fight, we're guaranteed the victory. I'd like

to open up first in Psalm ninety one. Let me read this over you.

You can turn to it if you'd like, but I'd like to just

bathe you in the word if I may. Psalm ninety one, Psalm twenty

three, and Isaiah forty have been our lifeline for our family in the last

few months. Even last night, I was I had felt like, you

know, I had the message prepared and I had everything ready, and I

was enjoying some time with my family, and all of a sudden, out

of nowhere, just felt defeated. I really couldn't tell where it came from.

It started making me real, feeling, real, irritable. So I

went back to the Word and I just started reading Psalm ninety one, and

I started reading Psalm twenty three, and I started reading Isaiah forty. And

as I was reading it, it just felt like a healing balm and just

settled everything down. And then as I read it again for a second time,

the more I read it, it just kept building me up. And

I went from feeling defeated to feeling healed and peaceful, to feeling encouraged to

feeling fired up. And that's what his word will do for you. That's

what his presence will do for you. That's how we don't become weary.

So let me. You can close your eyes, you can read along with

me. I'm just gonna read some ninety one over you. He who dwells

in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the

Almighty. I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my

fortress, my God. In him, will I trust. Surely he shall

deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the perilous pestilence.

He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings all I take

refuge. His truth shall be my shield and buckler. You shall not be

afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,

nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that

lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten

thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only

with your eyes shall you look and see the reward of the wicked. Because

you have made the Lord who is my refuge, even the most High your

dwelling place. No evil shall befall you, nor any plague come near your

dwelling, For he shall give his angels charge over you to keep you in

all your ways. In their hands. Shall they bear you up lest you

dash your foot against a stone, you shall tread upon the lion and the

cobra, the young lion, and the serpent. Shall you trample underfoot?

Because he has set his love on me, Therefore I will deliver him.

I will set I'm on high because he has known my name. He shall

call upon me, and I will answer him. I will be with him

in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him with long life. While

I satisfy him and show him my salvation. I will be with him in

trouble. He doesn't tell us that he'll keep us from being in trouble.

He'll be with us when the trouble comes. When we dwell in that secret

place, that's place of intimacy. There have been times over the last few

months that have been really hard for our family. In particular, there was

this, and all that I kept hearing the Lord say was come away with

me, get in my presence, and the things that were coming up looked

like I needed to do something about them. So it would make no sense

for me to just hide away in his presence. But I wasn't cowering,

and the natural it looked like I was cowering. I was getting alone with

my Savior, with my warrior, with my God, with my Prince of

peace, with my deliverer. And Psalm twenty three says he will prepare a

table before you in the presence of your enemies. He's inviting you to a

place of intimacy. If all you do is look around at where your enemies

are doing, you're inviting anxiety, worry, confusion, depression, fear.

Your enemies are there. We all have enemies. In the presence of our

enemies, he's inviting us to look into his eyes, to know who he

is, to find out who he is in us, who we are.

In his presence. He brings peace in his presence. He brings confidence in

his presence. We have courage, boldness, bravery, renewed strength. In

his presence, he gives us a battle plan. In the Jewish culture and

so ninety one, it says, I will save the Lord. He is

my refuge and my fortress. But tends to be seem like it's a little

bit repetitive. There a refuge and a fortress would both be a safe place

right in our English language, that's what we would understand. In the Jewish

culture, though, there were six cities of refuge. If somebody had committed

a crime, particularly murder, and there were blood on their hands, they

could go into one of these six cities of refuge and seek asylum. Because

back then the law was blood for blood, so if you had taken somebody's

life, that the family of that person could take yours and they would be

justified. However, you could go into one of these cities of refuge and

seek asylum. There. There's a process. Once you're in there, though,

you have to go through a trial. They have judges, they have

high priests, and so the first trial that you go through is for them

to determine if this was accidental or purpose. If it was intentional, they

would release you back to the family for them to have their way with you.

If it was deemed that it was accidental or self defense, then you

could continue to shelter in the city of refuge, but there had to be

an atonement for the blood, so there was a process. They could have

more than one person seeking asylum in the city of refuge, so they would

go through this process and eventually get to the place of atonement, and once

they had been atoned, they could be released out of the city safely and

nobody could touch them. The family of the victims could not touch them because

their crime had been forgiven. However, if at any time the person seeking

asylums in the city of Refuge and the High Priest died for any reason,

his blood would automatically atone for the person seeking asylum. Did you catch that?

Hebrews tells us that Jesus is our high Priest. His blood was shed

for us, and our atonement cleansed and purchased us, purchased our in us.

Since because of his blood we have been made righteous, we have been

atone. Our High Priest didn't just die for our atonement, though in the

Jewish culture, when that's in the city of Refuge, when the high Priest

had died, he was dead. Yes, his blood made atonement. But

today our High Priest didn't just shed his blood for our atonement. He has

risen and alive and lives in us and fights our battles with us. And

we have his presence that we can carry and take with us. They did

not have that how much greater of a high priest do we have? I

will say of the Lord, he is my refuge, He's my atonement and

my fortress, my place of protection, my safe place. Surely he shall

deliver you from the snare of the fowler and the perilous pestilence. Surely in

our language sounds like I mean, surely, if you sit in that chair,

you won't fall, it'll hold you up. I mean, it's a

maybe, I think it will, But surely here is it's one hundred percent

guaranteed. Guaranteed he will deliver you from the snare of the fowl and from

the perilous pestilence. Guaranteed, something that we can hold on to. This

is why when you read the word, it encourages you. You're reading and

speaking life over yourself, over your spirit, over the one that you're speaking

to. Surely, guaranteed he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowl

and from the periless pestilence. He shall cover you with his feathers, and

under his wings shall you take refuge. So I was looking into because that

I just can't help it. I have to know what the original language is

for all of the birds anytime I study something, So I was looking into

feathers and wings because it seems again a little bit redundant that would that he

mentions feathers and wings under he will cover you with his feathers and under his

wings where we take a refuge. So what David was talking about here,

well, it could have been Moses. They don't know if it was David

or Moses that wrote this one. But in the culture that what they're typically

referred to as doves. So most birds will have just the female who sits

on the eggs as they hatch and then nurtures the little birds when they hatch

out of the eggs. Doves at the male and females stay together twenty four

to seven. They never take their eyes off of the eggs or the little

hatchlings. Always protected. We have a cardinal that laid eggs on our porch

and so we've kind of been watching that process and they've hatched, and she

often goes away and the mom and me is like, they're just anyone could

come get them, you know, and like protect your babies, stay with

them. But that's how they do that, except for a dove does not

do that. The mom and dad will take turns, and so what happen

is and the mom goes away, feeds herself, nurtures herself, gets food,

brings it back, and then the dad will take a break. What

happens though, when the birds hatch is you know, they don't have any

wings, so they need the wings of their parents to protect them and to

care for them. But not only do they cover them while they're sitting on

the nest with their wings, but they actually sit down in there with them.

Some of you need to know that he's sitting down in it with you

right now. When they sit down in it with them, they are hidden

from any prey. So they're protected by the feathers covering them from the cold,

from you know, whatever in the weather could hurt them. But they're

covered by the presence of the ones sitting on them, hiding them. They're

hidden from the enemy. Can you fathom the idea that you're so hidden in

his presence when the enemy comes looking for you, he can't find you.

That's who our God is, that's our Are there hard times? Yes?

Is there ground to be taken? Yes? Are their battles to be fought,

yes, But he's not letting you do it alone. He's not letting

me do alone. He's with us the whole time. He will cover us.

He will hide us in the shadow, he will hide us under his

wings. We have the promise. You guys need to be a little bit

more excited than that. This is good. You're not alone. Truth shall

be your shield. And Butler, what is the truth? What is the

truth? This is our truth? Shall be our shield. This is why

we need to get in the word. You can't depend on somebody to get

in the word for you. You need to be in the word. If

you don't know where to start, find someone who does. There are there

are all kinds of apps. Now teach you where to start. Call the

office. They'll lead you and give you some tips on where to start.

Don't forget to get in the word. When you grow up. You have

to feed yourself. Yes, it's okay to be spoon fed for a little

while. If my parents were still spoon feeding me, we would have a

problem. You shall not be afraid. You shall not be afraid. You

shall not be afraid of the terror by night. You know, I believe

that that even means the dark night of the soul. When you're walking not

just night when the sun goes down and the moon comes up, but a

hard, difficult season, the dark night of the soul. You don't have

to be afraid of terror, or of the arrow that flies by day,

nor of the pestilence that walks in the darkness, or the destruction that lays

a waste at noon day. A thousand may fall at your side, ten

thousand at your right hand, But will it come near you? Will it

come near you? Only with your eyes shall you look and see the reward

of the wicked. In Isaiah forty thirty one, it's been another scripture that's

been a lifeline for our family that says those who wait on the Lord will

renew their strength. They will mount up as wings on wings like eagles.

They shall run and not they shall walk and not. The key to not

growing weary, the key to not being faint, the key to soaring on

wings as eagles, is to wait on the Lord. That word wait actually

means to become intertwined with like a rope. Do you see the theme of

intimacy when you become so intertwined with God that the enemy can't see where he

begins and where you in When you know his heartbeat. When you hear him

calling you, even when chaos is surrounding you, you hear that still small

voice, Hey, come away with me, Just come be in my presence.

Sometimes the way that we fight our bat doesn't always make sense and the

natural when you learn to trust his word, you learn to trust him because

you have relationship with him, because you've spent time with him and you know

him, then it's so much easier to be obedient to what he's telling you

to do. It looks like I should be making phone calls, and it

looks like I should be busying myself with some things. But he says,

come away with me. Then it's not a struggle. The battle belongs to

the Lord, and he shall give the memy into our hands. Maybe you're

fighting and contending for your family. Maybe there's things inside of you. The

Lord is maturing and growing. Get face to face with him, into his

eyes, get into his word, Let his peace surround you. The atonement.

In the atonement, there's a purification process. How many have never been

in process? Yes, Lisa, get onto him, unless you just weren't

willing. I know that not to be true. We're always in process.

We get these Sometimes to me, I don't know about to use. Sometimes

it feels like you're in the valley, which I also learned because it feels

like we're in the valley right now. So I've been looking what the valley

is. You know, fruit is grown in the valley. Fruit isn't always

grown on the mountaintop. It's rocky and it's hard on mounts top. I

like to be on the mountaintop to have a good view. I like to

be in victory. But fruit is grown in the valley. If we don't

get what he has for us in the valley, we have nothing to offer

those around us. It's not just about you. It's about those that he's

called you to effect. It's about your bloodline. It's about your children,

it's about your spouse. It's about your aunts and your uncles, and your

parents, and your neighbor and your coworkers. It's not just about you.

It's not just about me. We're equipped to fight and to win, and

it's important that we're willing to engage. You are an agent on assignment.

I do not want to get to heaven one day and the Lord say I

had so much for you to do. But you are so comfortable and thought

it was about you. I want everything that He has for me here in

this lifetime, on this earth. I want to accomplish everything that He has

designed me to accomplish. And I imagine you do too, or you wouldn't

be here. You're an agent, You're on assignment. This is bigger than

you. One time, a few years ago, we were trying to move

out of Curville. We were just wrestling with a lot and just felt like

if we could get out of Curville, maybe we could find something that made

us happy. And this something fell through, and the Lord told me,

you are running from the place I called you. That was spend six or

seven years. Don't run from the place he's called you, because it's bigger

than you. We need you. So I'm twenty three, says The Lord

is my shepherd, to feed, to guide, and to shield me.

I shall not want. He lets me lie down in green pastures. He

leads me beside the still and quiet waters. He refreshes and restores my soul.

He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his Name's sake. Even

though I walk through the valley of the shadow of Death, I fear no

evil, for you are with me. You're rod to protect and your staff

to guide. They comfort and console me. You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed my head with oil.

My cup overflows. Surely, remember we talked about that word. Guaranteed Goodness

and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I shall

dwell in the house of the Lord forever. If you look closely, there's

the theme of his presence. When we dwell in the House of the Lord

forever, we're dwelling in his presence. When we become intertwined and we wait

on the Lord, we're in his presence. Even when God told Moses he

was sending him to the Promised Land, Moses cry was, don't let me

go without your presence. He knew his presence is more valuable than anything.

Listen, we are on. This is what I feel like, at least

in my life. I think corporately though we're on our way to the promised

Land. There are giants occupying it because they haven't been challenged. But it's

our promised land, it's your promised land. Don't get weary in fighting.

The battle belongs to the Lord. Stay in his presence, Stay renewed,

stay built up. You also were not meant to do it alone. Pick

up the phone and call somebody. I need you to pray for me.

I need you to stand with me. This has been hard. I feel

like the enemies come at me in every direction. We were going through a

difficult time and I looked at my husband and I said, we have to

call so and so. We can't do this alone. There are a lot

of things that he and I will contend for together, but this was bigger.

It's important that says and do not forsake the gathering together. We need

each other. There's strength in numbers. When someone gets discouraged, there's another

person there to encourage. When someone is tired and weary, somebody can speak

life and truth over them and stand with them. When we link arms,

we can fight together and take more ground. Don't do this alone. Find

someone who will stand with you, who will pray with you, who will

fight for you, who will show up in the middle of the night for

you. Those are your people. We're in a battle, and we're invited

to hide ourselves in him, to seek his face, get his battle plan,

and watch him be victorian. Yes, I want to, I really

want. I feel like this is the heart of the Father. I want

you to leave here encouraged and built up. Leave your weariness behind, walk

out strengthened. Go into this week ready to fight, ready to stand,

ready to not give up. Be a prisoner of hope. Stand firm on

his word, Stand firm on his promises. Know that He's a God of

justice Isaiah fifty nine, I believe says when the enemy comes in like a

flood, he God will raise up a standard against him. Be encouraged today,

be strengthened if you need, If you feel like I know you guys

came up for prayer with weariness, But if you would like prayer for strength

to walk forward this week in your battle plan, would you stand up all

right, I'm gonna I am going to pray over you. You can stand

right where you're at. If you are around them, would you be the

church. Would you go surround your brother or your sister and pray, lay

hands on them, stand with them. Let there be a girding one another.

M Father, thank you for your word. Thank you that you were

always with us, that you never leave us, that you're with us no

matter what season, we're in. You're with us in the valley. You

invite us to come dine with you when we're surrounded by our enemies. I

looked up each and every one of these warriors, and I asked that you

would strengthen them, Infuse them with your spirit for the battles that are set

before them. Draw them into that place of intimacy. Let your peace surround

them, Let your truth saturate them, that weariness would fall off and strength

would arise. They would mount up on wings as eagles this week. Let

them run and not grow weary, Let them walk and not be faint.

Show them how to wait on you, Father, Take each one of us

into a deeper place with you, a deeper place of knowing you, a

deeper place of intimacy. I release your strength, I release your word,

I release your promises over these that are standing, that feel like they need

strength for the week to come, for the battles that they've are ahead of

them. Let every life fall lifeless and let your truth prevail. Let their

minds be stayed on you in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. That's good word,

kylie, Hey, y'all real quick. I just want to share something

real quick, and I think Lisa has something super super fast. But for

she mentioned about Psalem's ninety one, some people think potentially Moses or David.

The theologues that believe it was David actually believe that he was in the tabernacle,

lying down next to the ark by the Cherubim and their massive wings and

saying, he who dwells in the secret place and the most high God shall

abide under the shadow of the Almighty. And it paints a picture of what

she was talking about with the doves and being completely hidden so highly. Thank

you so much for that word. Try not to get me a mutable,

y'all. The Lord I experienced I saw ninety one in my life where he

actually showed up in my room. I was seventeen, weary with the world

doubting his existence, in the truth of who he said he was. I

was seventeen and I was asking Lord. I was looking out my window saying,

Lord, if you're really real, just show me, show me a

shooting star. That's all I asked for, is one shooting star. Nothing.

I go to bed that night. I wake up at three o'clock in

the morning with error in my room. I couldn't move, I could barely

breathe, and I sat there my spirit and I cried out and I said,

Jesus helped me. And literally all from the left side of my bed

came a wing and it completely covered me. And under his wing, the

peace of God that surpasses understanding hit me. I have no longer idea how

long I was under that wing. I could see the details of the feathers

and I sat there and I just praised Him and I worshiped him and I

experienced that. And it's not just for me. What she's saying is truth.

This is for every single one of you. He truly has you covered,

He truly will show up. That moment in my life changed my life

forever. The next morning, I woke up and I was too afraid to

tell my mom what had happened because I thought, well, I didn't even

believe this stuff could really happen the supernatural. And I said, Mom,

I think I'm supposed to be a missionary and I'm going to find the most

strict Christian college I can find because I had an experience. And she was

like, you are You've lost it, but okay, and I'm telling you

though it's one moment with the Lord can forever change your life. So if

you're feeling hopeless, if you're feeling afraid, if you're feeling alone, don't

give up. Dig into the Word, like Kylie said, dig into Psalms

ninety one, dig into Psalms twenty three, because it's real and he's tangible,

and he will show up for you. So I just wanted to share
