  1. You're listening to the Cross Kingdom de Sermon of the Week.

  2. We helped you enjoyed this message from.

  3. Justin Carpenter.

  4. This past Monday.

  5. I didn't I didn't mention this first service, I guess,

  6. But this past Monday I sat burdened most of the

  7. day and could not shake it in a way that

  8. I've I don't know that I've been burdened before.

  9. And uh, there are.

  10. There is and it won't be the only one, obviously,

  11. but there there is a there's a global shakening that.

  12. Is really close.

  13. And I've been asking the Lord to give me insight

  14. because I want to be able to prepare the body

  15. as I can. But I just could not shake the

  16. weight of what's coming this past Monday. And you know,

  17. my primary job, and I've said this before, is to

  18. feed and lead. That's my primary job. I will give

  19. an account to the Lord Jesus for how I fed

  20. you and how I led you. That's what I will

  21. give an account. As a shepherd. I will have to

  22. give an account to him if I spoke truth or

  23. if I watered it down. I will have to give

  24. an account whether I chose the fear of the Lord

  25. or the fear of man, and in this hour of

  26. watching so much shake and shake and bake, and with

  27. all this stuff happening, it's like, you know, I want

  28. to encourage y'all to take the time examine your lives,

  29. Examine where you're at with the Lord, Examine where you

  30. want to be with him the I think it's pretty

  31. clear the closer we get to twenty thirty, there's going

  32. to be significant changes. Many people believe as far as

  33. the prophetic timeline. You know, Israel became a nation in

  34. nineteen sixty seven, and seventy years is twenty thirty seven.

  35. Back off seven years is twenty thirty and now again

  36. that that's getting into eschatology, and many of you are

  37. going to have different perspectives on that. But I can

  38. tell you that twenty twenty was a change, not just

  39. a season. You know, we use all these fancy oh

  40. it's a season, and oh it's the time. No, this

  41. was a global shift on the prophetic timeline of history,

  42. and I think the closer we get to the end

  43. of this decade, we can expect to see more of

  44. those global shifts. I think the escalations in Israel right now.

  45. Are going to.

  46. Continue to escalate and ultimately with the culmination of the

  47. war of Gog and Magog.

  48. Think about this.

  49. No time in history have we been able to have

  50. the entire world look upon the two witnesses, because Biblically

  51. it says that they will lay in the streets dead

  52. for three days, the two prophets, and then the world

  53. will exchange gifts. Here's another one, mystery, the Mystery of Babylon.

  54. Mystery Babylon is not the United States. Mystery Babylon is

  55. not Mystery Babylon with literal borders. And one thing it

  56. says about Mystery Babylon in Revelation is that it talks

  57. about the nations partook of her sorcery. The Greek word

  58. for sorcery is pharmakaya. When did we see the nations

  59. partake all the nations partake of Pharmachael. Now that I

  60. have your attention and you're wondering, where is he going?

  61. Or am I against doctors? No, But you have to

  62. have eyes to see and ears to hear in this hour.

  63. What if God's intentionally offending you and it's not the

  64. enemy right now? What if God's offending you to expose

  65. you strongholds.

  66. And it's actually not the enemy.

  67. What if half the crushing you're going through right now

  68. in your life and the shakings actually has nothing to

  69. do with the enemy, And it's the hand of the Lord. Perspective, perspective,

  70. right pen take his shoes off Luke nine twenty three.

  71. And he said to all, if anyone would come after me,

  72. let him deny himself and take up his cross sometimes,

  73. and every once in a while follow me.

  74. That was the Nearly Inspired version, not the NIV.

  75. Now it says, deny himself, take up his cross daily

  76. and follow me.

  77. So what is the way into the kingdom? The cross.

  78. Is What is the key today?

  79. The intimacy with Jesus? What do you what do you

  80. start with every morning?

  81. Daily?

  82. Take up your cross?

  83. It's it's not supposed to be optional. We don't wake

  84. up on Tuesday morning be like Jesus, Oh what a

  85. good morning. Wednesday, I'm hanging the cross up, changing shirts.

  86. That's not how it's supposed to be. There's a scripture

  87. it says that if you faint running with men, how

  88. are you gonna run with the horses? And I want

  89. to let you know, in this hour of your fainting

  90. running with men, you're not gonna run with the horses

  91. and the season to come. Somebody's clapping, some one person's excited.

  92. All right, I actually am gonna talk to you not

  93. about the end times, but the cost.

  94. Of the anointing versus gifts.

  95. I didn't get very far this morning first service, but

  96. I plan on getting further this time.

  97. He all seems so excited about that.

  98. Over the next three and a half hours, we're gonna

  99. unpack this teaching, and you'all are going to be so excited.

  100. If you're visiting. That is a joke. Just relax.

  101. What was what was? I?

  102. I love your shirt, David. Won't you stand up show

  103. by your shirt?

  104. Huh? I mean I just when I look at that shirt,

  105. I just want to have a vision non chemically induced,

  106. you know what I mean. Let me put that in quotations. J'ell,

  107. that shirt's groovy, okay. Luke nine sixty two, I start

  108. this stuff and then you all start going, I'm like, oh,

  109. I shouldn't have done that, Luke nine sixty two. Jesus

  110. said to him, no one who puts his hand to

  111. the plow and looks back is fit for the Kingdom

  112. of God'll.

  113. You do realize.

  114. Jesus said, some might drop hard truths. So the way

  115. into the Kingdom is the cross. The only way to

  116. walk with him is to deny yourself. And if you

  117. put your hand to the plow and say, let's go, Lord,

  118. and then you look back, you might be suffering from

  119. the spirit of Egypt, where somehow you've fallen under deception,

  120. believing that the fruit in slavery was better than the

  121. fruit and freedom. The enemy wants to convince you that

  122. going backwards is going to give you what you want.

  123. And the Lord says, if you put your hand to

  124. the plow and you're following me and you look back,

  125. you're not fit for the kingdom. Because remember the word

  126. for repentance, the pictograph meaning of that word repentance actually

  127. means to burn the house down, burn down what you

  128. were abiding in that nothing is left but ashes. So

  129. if we start in the kingdom with denying self daily.

  130. And we're not.

  131. Supposed to look back, can you I seem like I'm

  132. in a Does it sound okay?

  133. Out there? Sounds weird up here? It sounds like.

  134. I'm like in a room, Like obviously I'm in a room.

  135. I was fixing that before y'all did never mind? Okay?

  136. For this is starting really good. For first, John two

  137. twenty six to twenty seven. I write these things to

  138. you about those who are trying to deceive you. You

  139. know what I love Just a little side note for

  140. those that are trying to deceive you. You all been

  141. watching those videos on social media lately where it takes

  142. all of the main networks Fox and CNN and NBC

  143. and ms B, and it's and and it literally shows

  144. you that they're all saying the exact same sound bites.

  145. That is called mind control. If you're wondering what that is,

  146. and that and that that that is conditioning the masses. Remember,

  147. the enemy is the principality of the what of the air,

  148. of the airwaves. So I have great news.

  149. You don't have to be deceived. Number one of you're

  150. like me If.

  151. I start watching the news, especially like the debates, I

  152. something happens to pastor Justin and it's like I lose

  153. the I start to find myself yelling at my cell

  154. phone and I'm like, this is not profitable. It's disturbing

  155. my dinner when I'm eating a steak or something. But

  156. he says, I write these things to you about those

  157. who are trying to deceive you. But the anointing that

  158. you receive from Him abides in you, and you have

  159. no need that anyone should teach you, but as His

  160. anointing teaches you about everything and is true and is

  161. no lie, just as it is taught you, abiden him.

  162. I shared this this morning. I think I may have

  163. said the wrong date on my hand, but some years ago,

  164. twenty ten, twenty eleven time frame, I had this dream,

  165. and this was when Micah was not six foot two.

  166. Back then, Micah was you were actually taking like two

  167. and a half hour naps daily.

  168. It was glorious. I was.

  169. I was.

  170. I was a stay at home dad.

  171. So come on, moms and any of you stay at home,

  172. Like if you side note, men, if you come home

  173. and ask your stay at home wife who's taking care

  174. of all their kids, what'd you do today, don't be

  175. surprised if she wants to give you the left foot

  176. of fellowship. I would rather be doing what I do

  177. than to be at home with all my kids. It's well,

  178. I don't mean that in a bad way, but I'm saying, man,

  179. I can't get away with nothing this morning. What I'm

  180. saying is I stay at home mom is a full

  181. time job. And if you're a stay at home mom,

  182. you don't need to have shame or like, well, I'm

  183. just a stay at home No, we need y'all, like

  184. we need you raising your kids in the fear of

  185. the Lord and the ways of God. All Right, I

  186. can't read it true anyways, so you get the picture.

  187. I'm a stay at home dad.

  188. During this time, I'm having these glorious quiet times with

  189. the Lord for two to three hours undisturbed.

  190. Sorry, I was going back and oh, keep them on

  191. the plow.

  192. And during this time I was really pressing into the Lord.

  193. I was having a lot of spiritual encounters. It was

  194. just a season of encounters. And I was very conscious

  195. about not getting deceived, to the point where I was

  196. worried about it, Like I was having anxiety about not

  197. wanting to be deceived. And I went to bed one

  198. night and the Lord give me a dream. I found

  199. myself in Gold's Gym. Used to work at a Golden

  200. gym growing up, and the owner was John. So John's

  201. there behind the desk, and the whole room is white,

  202. white countertops, white shelves, protein metrics, protein powder, on the back,

  203. and I remember all this, and I was getting a

  204. day pass in the dream. And when I went to

  205. put my hand out, I had two twenty five stamped

  206. on my hand. And I was like, oh, no, they're

  207. going to know I didn't shower because I knew in

  208. the dream it was two twenty six. And I look

  209. around and the dream ends. And if you don't know

  210. what that means, you're dull.

  211. Moving on.

  212. No.

  213. Bob Jones used to say that a lot.

  214. He'd give all these cryptic, parabolic words and they'd be like,

  215. if you don't know what that means, you're dull. I'm like,

  216. I guess we're all dull.

  217. But John represented the Book of jo.

  218. And I knew the date stamped on my hand, and

  219. the date that I knew it was in my dream

  220. was scripture. So I go to the Book of John.

  221. I'm going to chapter two, and I don't see anything.

  222. Is it that bad?

  223. I don't see like it, you know, the witness of

  224. the Holy Spirit not happening. So I go to first

  225. John and I start reading, and I write these things

  226. to you about those who are trying to deceive you.

  227. But the anointing that you received from him abides in you,

  228. and all that fear melted away. The Lord's like, I've

  229. got you. The anointed One is in you, and that's

  230. the way the Lord chose to deal with that situation

  231. with me. And you know, we hear a lot about gifting.

  232. We hear lots about the Fivefold ministry, lots about the Kingdom.

  233. I don't know how much we hear about the anointing

  234. and how the anointing is actually separate from your gift,

  235. although it works with your gift, yet it's separate.

  236. And we find ourselves in a season where.

  237. You're recognizing there was a whole bunch of leaders around

  238. you in the Body of Christ that have been operating

  239. in a gift without the anointing for some time. Why

  240. do we know this because they were in sin. And

  241. the quickest way to quench the anointing on your life

  242. is to go into sin.

  243. One of the.

  244. Dangerous things is that your gift is always going to

  245. work no matter who you are. The gifts and callings

  246. are irrevocable, and your gifts will work even if you're

  247. in sin. Paul Cain was one of the most anointed

  248. at one point, one of the most anointed prophets and

  249. could prophisy crazy details. I mean he'd just start calling

  250. people out and I mean just crazy detailed personal words.

  251. And yet Paul found himself in a homosexual lifestyle and

  252. an alcoholic and never repented even in the end. It

  253. was so bad that he had a security guard at

  254. his door at morning Star where he passed away, because

  255. if young men got by him, he would try to

  256. put the moves on them. And yet Paul Kine could

  257. still prophesy. Now did his did his effects on what

  258. he was doing diminish some? Yeah, it wasn't, It wasn't

  259. at the peak, but he still had a gift.

  260. Think about think about.

  261. The things that are happening right now. How many of

  262. us were absolutely blown away, shot like when we found

  263. out what happened with Robbie Zachariah. See what's happening is

  264. these men are being exposed and they've become yesterday's man.

  265. The anointing is lifted, and they continued to operate in

  266. a gift, and very few of us knew the difference.

  267. That should not be.

  268. The Greek word for anointing is chrisma, not charisma.

  269. The latter's a different word. Although the two words look

  270. and sound alike.

  271. Charisma comes from the root word creo or cryo, from

  272. which we get Christ, the anointed One. The word cryo

  273. contains the idea of smearing, as with annointment. So the

  274. anoint One is in you. He's smeared in you, because

  275. that's it has to do with the smearing with the anointing.

  276. There's another word charismata, which means grace or gift. This

  277. is the word used for the gifts of the Holy

  278. Spirit and First Grinthians twelve, for example, Believe it or not,

  279. you can also have the chrismata without the anointing.

  280. In RT.

  281. Kendall's book Pigeon Religion, which is a great book if

  282. you haven't read it, Holy Spirit is that you and

  283. Chapter four uses the word anointing in three ways. First,

  284. the anointing is enjoying God's manifest approval, that unconditional affection

  285. of the Father that you really only fully experience when

  286. you stop living as an orphan and actually live as

  287. a son or daughter. This is what King Saul lost,

  288. even though he remained king. This sense of the anointing

  289. is when you please God. It is when you're conscious

  290. of his presence, his pleasure and communication with you. It

  291. is what provides insight, presence of mind, wisdom, and clear thinking. Secondly,

  292. the anointing is that which flows with.

  293. Ease in a person. You don't have to work it up.

  294. It comes easily. If I go outside of my anoining,

  295. I struggle.

  296. When you start struggling, it's because you're pushing out of

  297. your metron. And when you come out of your place

  298. of God given influence and step into somebody else's influence,

  299. you just violated the issue of authority and honor.

  300. It's like bumper cars. Oh sorry about that, buddy.

  301. Sh boom, because that's what we see half the time

  302. the church.

  303. That's my lane.

  304. You get out of there, boom boom, and we got

  305. all this wreckage and carnage. Because there is no value

  306. in Christ the anointed One in others.

  307. Only Christ, the anointed One in me. And that's all

  308. that matters.

  309. When I stay within my anointing, my gift functions with ease. Therefore,

  310. when the anointing flourishes, one exercises his or her gift

  311. without stress or effort. But let that anointing diminish, and

  312. one will struggle and have to work hard or hear

  313. whatever it took to get you into that place, it's

  314. going to take to keep you in that place. So

  315. if you force yourself into somebody else's lane because you

  316. know you're absalom. Oh, if only I were king, Only,

  317. if I were king, I would bring you justice. Oh

  318. only if I were king, only if I were the

  319. senior leader, all of these things wouldn't be happening. I

  320. would fix all of them for you, because I am

  321. God's gift. No, no one has said that in here.

  322. Just so if you're wondering illustration, but let that anointing

  323. diminish in the one will struggle and have to work hard. Third,

  324. the word anointing can sometimes be used interchangeably with one's

  325. ability or gift.

  326. To return to his.

  327. Point, there's a sense in which you can have charisma,

  328. a striking personality, and the chrismata a grace gift without

  329. the chrisma the anointing. Why do you think God is

  330. judging the celebrity minister in America right now? He's dealing

  331. with the big personality and people finding their identity in

  332. a gift. You know, it's dangerous if you actually judge

  333. your closeness to the Father based on how you're operating

  334. in your gift.

  335. It's deception.

  336. Because you will go down a road thinking God loves

  337. you and approves of everything you're doing, because he's moving

  338. through you.

  339. He moves in spite of us.

  340. King Saul lost God's approval, but strange as it may seem,

  341. he retained his chrismata.

  342. He was turned into a different person.

  343. The Bible says God gave him another heart, and he

  344. was given the gift of prophecy.

  345. In first Samuel ten nine and ten people were in all.

  346. They said, is Saul among the prophets? And one Samuel

  347. ten eleven. Some time later, after young David had become

  348. such a threat to Saul, Saul sought to kill David.

  349. On his way to kill David, Saul began to prophesy

  350. again for Samuel nineteen twenty three to twenty four.

  351. Are y'all with me? Saul?

  352. For how many times in a row? Breaks his word

  353. with David. He's going to kill David, And he comes

  354. up the mountain he gets by the sons of the prophets.

  355. The spirit of prophecy is there. He starts prophesying with

  356. murder in his heart, and everyone around him could have

  357. been like, oh wow, look Saul's prophesying again. And Saul's

  358. intention to go up that mountain had nothing to do

  359. with encouraging the church. He looks at Jonathan, you son

  360. of a perverse.

  361. Mother. You gotta be careful with that scripture.

  362. So I almost got tongue tied, and that would go viral.

  363. I don't need that, and he says that he goes,

  364. do you not know, as long as David is alive,

  365. you'll never have the kingdom. He's literally headed to kill David,

  366. and he prophesies, Now, you can get mad with the Lord,

  367. But a man with murder in his heart, his gift

  368. was still working. But Jim Rohan had a great statement,

  369. when you get your own universe, you can do what

  370. you want, until.

  371. Then you're a guest Luke eight ten.

  372. Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle

  373. and all that was in it, and consecrated them. And

  374. then in Luke, I'm sorry. Leviticus twenty one ten to twelve.

  375. The priest who is chief among his brothers, on whose

  376. head the anointing oil is poured, and who has been

  377. consecrated to wear the garment, shall not let the hair

  378. of his head hang loose, nor tear his clothes. He

  379. shall not go into it like Kulkogan.

  380. You know what I mean.

  381. He shall not go into any dead bodies, nor make

  382. himself unclean, even for his father or mother. He shall

  383. not go outside of the sanctuary, lest he profane the

  384. sanctuary of his God, for the consecration of the anointing

  385. oil of his God is on him.

  386. The consecration.

  387. You want to carry a heavy anointing, then you better

  388. make sure that your life is consecrated. Isaiah ten twenty seven.

  389. It shall come to pass that day that his burden

  390. will be taken away from his shoulder, and his yoke

  391. from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed by

  392. your gift. No, it says in the yoke will be

  393. destroyed because of the anointing oil. So it's the anointing

  394. that breaks the yoke, not your gift. That's why we

  395. can sit in a meeting and people get healed and

  396. stay demonized, and the demons don't care that those people

  397. are getting healed. They care whether or not they're going

  398. to have to leave that person. And it's the anointing

  399. that breaks the yoke. It's the authority of the Lord

  400. that deals.

  401. With the demonic.

  402. They were very clear they didn't care. They weren't concerned

  403. about power. Over and over and over through the gospels.

  404. They were afraid of.

  405. Jesus because of the authority that he walked in.

  406. That's not a demon These lights are on at least

  407. I don't think it is.

  408. From everybody.

  409. We got a wild bunch around here, Judge Is fourteen six.

  410. Then the spirit of the Lord rushed upon him, and

  411. although he had nothing in his hand, he tore the

  412. lion in peace, as one tears a young goat.

  413. But he did not.

  414. Tell his father or his mother what he had done. See,

  415. the anointing is coincides with the Holy Spirit, over and

  416. over and over. When it says in the spirit of

  417. the Lord rushed upon him, the spirit of the Lord

  418. came upon him, The hand of the Lord came upon him.

  419. The anointing is the Holy Spirit. It comes from him.

  420. It's not apart from him. You have internal anointing and

  421. you have corporate anointing. And you need to understand the

  422. difference between the anointing. How to get fresh oil versus

  423. just simply the operation of your gift and not fall

  424. prey to the fact that because you just prophesied over

  425. someone or you just prayed for someone and they got healed,

  426. to think that sometime that somehow God has stamped his

  427. approval on your character. Y'all, we have not gotten it

  428. in the charismatic movement very well on that we have

  429. like we still have a tendency to make excuses for

  430. the lack of character.

  431. When we see someone with a gift.

  432. We've had decades of leaders taking restoration processes and accelerating

  433. them simply because they think this man's gift must be

  434. restored back into the body of Christ. And then that leader,

  435. because repentance doesn't have time to work thoroughly through their

  436. life and the crushing does not happen to their life,

  437. then they end up repeating their sins. Remember God, he's

  438. not impressed with your gift. He gave it to you,

  439. And there's not a single person in this room, including me,

  440. that God can't move without. People are getting saved all

  441. over the East right now, without you, without the body

  442. of Christ. Because Jesus himself is showing up to Muslims

  443. all over the place, and dreams and visions and visitations

  444. and over and over there is a theme in the

  445. East where they when they come and they actually try

  446. to talk them out of giving their lives to Jesus

  447. because they're like, do you understand what this is going

  448. to mean.

  449. You're probably gonna.

  450. Die if your household gets saved, They're probably going to

  451. be martyred. Do you understand that? And over and over

  452. and over, testimony after testimony, these Muslims Ishmael's sons.

  453. Say, but have you seen his eyes?

  454. All it took was have you seen his eyes? Because

  455. they had a literal visitation from the Lord, and that's

  456. all it took for them to say, I'm taking up

  457. my cross daily, I'm putting my hands to the plow.

  458. I'm not looking back. I'm looking into your eyes.

  459. Today.

  460. There are many who have lost God's anointing on their

  461. life and are operating out of their gifting and own

  462. ability given by God at birth. But to many of

  463. us in the Church, we've not been able to discern

  464. the difference. As exposures are happening today. Yesterday's man is

  465. being exposed Romans eleven, twenty nine. The gifts and calling

  466. of God are irrevocable. The anointing is very costly, and

  467. very few pay the price for a high level of

  468. anointing because they refuse to go through the crushing of

  469. the Holy Spirit which produces the flow of the oil

  470. in their life. Not only that, when I when I

  471. might add that when it says that the anointing is costly.

  472. There there is a line somewhere where when people around you.

  473. Begin to perceive what you say in.

  474. How you live to be the very words and actions

  475. of the Lord. When you cross that line, ask Moses,

  476. what can happen? See Moses and the old Covenant.

  477. You were driving me crazy. Stop it. I wasn't yelling

  478. at you, Carrie. I'm talking to the light bulb. Moses.

  479. The Lord said, speak to the rock. He hit the rock.

  480. No Romisland.

  481. Why there's two principles people don't realize number one and

  482. numbers twelve six. It says, if there is a prophet

  483. among you, I will speak to him through dreams. I

  484. will make myself known to him through visions. And it

  485. goes on to say, but not my servant Moses to him,

  486. I speak face to face, mouth to mouth. The level

  487. of intimacy that Moses was granted, or I should say,

  488. the level of access to the Creator that he was granted,

  489. meant that there was a much higher price to pay.

  490. Not many of you should perceive or desire to be teachers.

  491. Why because you go from this long of a chain

  492. to a choker chain. Ask my wife, I'll get away

  493. with nothing. I can think about being stupid, and something happens.

  494. I'm like, ah, I was just thinking about that. Have

  495. I ever I can't. I can't get away with anything.

  496. One Sunday morning, we're headed to church. I've been telling

  497. my wife, you can drive five miles an hour over

  498. the speed limit all the time, plug your ears, pres

  499. and uh. And I was like, they won't pull you

  500. over going five over. This was years ago, sir, years ago,

  501. And we're literally headed to Impact church where we were

  502. going to church. I'm doing sixty and a fifty five

  503. and it was not the fourth of July.

  504. I look back and there's all these lights behind me.

  505. I pull over.

  506. He goes, where are you headed church? And I said,

  507. I'm on the worship team. I was on the prayer

  508. team or something. Was like, I'm running late, I gotta

  509. go pray. And my beautiful bride says, officer, would you

  510. please tell my husband that you cannot go five miles

  511. an hour over the speed limit and that all will

  512. let you go, and you know you won't give.

  513. Him a ticket. I'm like, you are not helping us

  514. right now. I don't.

  515. I don't know if Micah was old enough to remember that. Yes, sir,

  516. so now listen, that was one state trooper. Mm hmm,

  517. he get he he he gave me a warning. That's

  518. called mercy because my wife was on his side.

  519. Mhmm.

  520. We're one, my little helper.

  521. Too many times we blame the hand of the enemy

  522. for the Holy spirits crushing in our life because we

  523. can't discern the difference.

  524. Artist says, that's when you got pigeon religion.

  525. Saul was afraid of David because the Lord was with

  526. him but had departed from Saul. How do we know

  527. this for Samuel twenty six to six. I'm sorry for

  528. Samuel twenty eight six. And when Saul inquired of the Lord,

  529. the Lord did not answer him, either by dreams or

  530. by urim or by prophets.

  531. Anybody wondering what a urim is?

  532. The uram are the epod is the theumum in the

  533. I gotta get out of the spot the uram, And

  534. so they would inquire of the Lord and the stones.

  535. The two stones.

  536. Would light up almost like yes or no. The Lord

  537. would light these stones up, and that was the epod.

  538. So remember when David he's in Ziglag, everything gets taken,

  539. and it says in David's strengthened himself and the Lord

  540. and then.

  541. Inquired of the Lord.

  542. He grabbed the epod and said, Lord, do we go after?

  543. Will we overcome? Will we get everything back? And the

  544. Lord says yes. Now I don't have all the details

  545. of you know, like Simon says, if it was red, no,

  546. and you know, but what's interesting if you look at

  547. those two stones, and then you look at the two

  548. stones in Revelation in the Throne room, and then you

  549. understand that Lucifer walked in the midst of the fiery stones,

  550. you actually begin to understand that the two stones actually

  551. represent the Holy Spirit in the sun, and so Lucifer

  552. was actually communing in the midst of the Godhead in

  553. the throne.

  554. Y'all with me.

  555. It's just like if you study the twelve Stones of Israel.

  556. You look at those twelve stones, you look at the

  557. characteristics of each sun, and you actually begin to get

  558. definition of that color God is light, and him is

  559. no darkness. He is literally light radiates light. You radiate light.

  560. And he says, but if that light that's in you

  561. is dark, how great is that darkness? Because now instead

  562. of your spirit radiating white light, your soul is ruling

  563. and you're producing dark light. Twenty four hues of colors,

  564. twenty four elders around a throne, are.

  565. Y' all with me? Isaiah eleven?

  566. The seven spirits of God, the rainbow which with all

  567. seven colors produces white light.

  568. The LGBT rainbow is six colors.

  569. Did you know that it's not the full spectrum of

  570. the full rainbow. Remember the enemy is King Xerox. He's

  571. never had an original thought in his life.

  572. He's a copy.

  573. He wants to try to take the seven spirits of God.

  574. Because if you actually take the full rainbow in those

  575. seven colors and align them with Isaiah eleven, you begin

  576. to get definition to the seven spirits through color. And

  577. that's why we know. Wisdom is red, Purple is authority,

  578. the fear of the Lord. Okay an they're teaching. Sorry,

  579. I was getting all excited. Judges sixteen twenty to twenty two,

  580. and he said, the Philistines are upon or she said,

  581. the Philistines are upon you, Samson, And he awoke from

  582. his sleep and said, I'll go out as other times

  583. and shake myself free. But he did not know that

  584. the Lord had left him. He did not know the

  585. Lord had left him. It's kind of like, oh, you

  586. woke up last night, and you wake up the next

  587. day and you sinned yesterday. But yet you run into

  588. somebody at the gas station today and you get a

  589. word of knowledge for them, and you pray for them,

  590. and you see God move and you go, huh, okay,

  591. I must be okay, and then you commit that sin again.

  592. But yet you're judging your closeness to the Lord based

  593. on your gifts still working. And you did not know

  594. the anointing left you. Now the Holy Spirit, you're sealed

  595. with the Holy Spirit till the day of redemption, so

  596. he doesn't leave. But that anointing that can lift. But

  597. you've hardened over time to such a degree you've allowed

  598. your gift to fool you.

  599. This is how this happens, y'all.

  600. It's a slow burn. Compromise is a slow burn. I

  601. don't think any of these leaders set out to mess

  602. their lives up and hurt a bunch of people. I

  603. don't think that. I think they all started out good, hopefully,

  604. but somewhere along the lines deception came in. So finding

  605. your anointing. It's the hardest thing when discovering your anointing

  606. and coming to terms with your limits. Back to the

  607. bumper car thing. Every one of you have a limit

  608. to your anointing. Every one of you have a place

  609. of influence that the Lord's given you. You can't make

  610. him give you more influence. You can go into self

  611. promotion to try to try to get more influence, and

  612. whatever little more influence you appear to have. The moment

  613. you stopped doing what you did, you will absolutely lose it.

  614. And the scariest thing is you might promote yourself right

  615. into a place of warfare that you can't handle. The

  616. Lord gave my son Cole a dream. I've shared this

  617. a couple of times. This is a couple of years back.

  618. Cole goes to bed one night and the next morning

  619. he wakes up tells me, hey, Dad, I had a

  620. dream with you in it. I said, oh yeah, I said,

  621. what was happening? He goes, you were in a boxing ring.

  622. I said, this is getting good, and he goes, and

  623. you were fighting these demons. I was like, oh yeah,

  624. keep talking so and this is fun. And he's like

  625. and you literally were knocking these demons out with one

  626. punch boom boom boom, Like I like this street.

  627. And he goes, but he goes.

  628. I said, Lord, how is he doing that? And the

  629. Lord spoke to my son and the dream and he

  630. told them because he only goes after the ones, I

  631. tell him to see spiritual warfare rules of engagement. I've

  632. had tons of tons.

  633. Of over the decades.

  634. People growl and everything else at me in public, and

  635. I didn't engage it if the Lord didn't tell me to.

  636. I mean crazy stuff, crazy stuff. Becky and I have

  637. got stories for years of stories of just wild man

  638. of state. I'm minding my own business, trying to make

  639. a salad in the old Achiv. Anybody missed that old

  640. salad bar at the old Agiv?

  641. Oh that was glorious anyways. But the thing is.

  642. God has never made a defensive move in his life.

  643. The moment you find yourself in offense and trying to

  644. move forward an offense, you need to check it because

  645. you're probably allowing the enemy to set the lines of

  646. battle the rules of engagement. Israel taunted for forty days

  647. and forty nights by Goliath. Then David shows up. David

  648. was actually doing what God told.

  649. Him to do.

  650. He's like, who's this uncircumcised philistine? Didn't face them five

  651. smooth stones? You know he had four other brothers, and

  652. we see they were killed in the scriptures. So David said,

  653. I'll take you.

  654. And your brothers.

  655. I got one for each of you. Say hello to

  656. my little friends.

  657. Some of you may not be old enough for that film.

  658. But God has set apart each individual to function under

  659. the anointing in a unique way. And when we are

  660. under an identity crisis, we tend to try and clone

  661. other people's anointing. Do you understand the anointing is attracted

  662. to authenticity, So you be you. There's only one of you,

  663. there's only one of me, And y'all said, amen. Each

  664. are given a measure of faith Romans twelve three ben.

  665. When finding the limits of your anointing, you might say

  666. you're discovering the measure of faith.

  667. In which you abide.

  668. There are two parts of our gifting or anointing, that

  669. which you were born with and brought up with and

  670. that which comes as a result of conversion. See there

  671. there's Abra, Abraham, sorry Jeremiah. For instance, it says that

  672. I called you to be a prophet while you're in

  673. your mother's womb. John the Baptist, forerunner of Jesus, literally

  674. had the Holy Spirit inside of him in the womb

  675. before Pentecost. He was a forerunner of what a believer

  676. was going to look like. In the New Covenant, the

  677. Hebrew word for anointing is mishkah and it means to.

  678. Rub or smear with oil.

  679. The Greek word for anointing is cryo and it means

  680. to anoint. The word anointing appears twenty three times in

  681. the Old Covenant and four times in the New Covenant.

  682. We see in Exodus thirty a natural representation of a

  683. spiritual principle when it comes to the anointing. There were

  684. five ingredients that made up the sacred anointing oil in

  685. the Old Covenant. Myrr which is a sticky gummy substance

  686. that is still used today as a painkiller. This is

  687. symbolic of love and suffering, compassion, and passion. There was cinnamon,

  688. and it's a highly flammable spice. This is symbolic of

  689. spiritual fire revival. The calamus is also called sweet flag,

  690. a cane type plant that grows among water lilies, and

  691. it is known for the aromatic properties when it is

  692. bruised or crushed. This is symbolic of forgiveness from betrayals

  693. and woundings. Cassia is a bark scraped from a tree.

  694. This is symbolic of sacrifice, worship, and brokenness. It is

  695. the pure purity element of the anointing oil. Since this

  696. must be scraped off the tree, it also represents the

  697. purging element of the Holy Spirit. And then number five,

  698. Come on, are you young living women in here just

  699. getting fired up about the oils? WHOA Olive oil is

  700. the last ingredient added by which the aroma of the

  701. anointing oil is enhanced, made pungent to the nose. This

  702. is symbolic of the power of the Holy Spirit and

  703. the manifestation of his presence to mankind. It is also

  704. what holds the mixture together. This was the annoyingingol in

  705. Exodus thirty and back then have you reproduced it? It

  706. came with some consequences, can't be counterfeited can't be reproduced

  707. by man, the true anointing because it doesn't come from us.

  708. What actually brought this along was I think I've taught

  709. on the anointing twice and we were having lunch Friday

  710. with a couple and he's a retired minister who from

  711. Louisiana originally, and he, over thirty years of ministry, ended

  712. up building out an eighty acre campus, debt free, with

  713. a sanctuary of three thousand people. And so he has

  714. talked to us, counseled us, encouraged us, given us wisdom.

  715. But he said something he goes, you know, justin He said,

  716. this generation of leaders have a revelation of God's goodness

  717. and their gifts.

  718. But they don't have the anointing.

  719. They don't understand what it means to lay your hands

  720. on two thousand people and impart something to them. And

  721. I want to tell you, especially younger people, that there

  722. is something the previous generation of leadership is carrying. But

  723. if you get so offended with their weaknesses from pioneering

  724. and you lose honor for them, you're not going to

  725. get the inheritance of the previous generation.

  726. And you need it.

  727. We need it.

  728. It's one thing to watch somebody operate in a gift

  729. or give a good teaching or prophesy. And it's a

  730. whole other thing. When the anointing comes, when all of

  731. a sudden, everyone being touched is transformed. In that moment,

  732. impartation is happening. See the anointing, it says, lay your

  733. hands on no one suddenly. The anointing in parts holiness

  734. and the Old Covenant it said, do not leave lest

  735. you in part holiness. Number five. Personal anointing. What ascends

  736. up from our spirit man and out to the people.

  737. This is what we're anointed to be. It's an appointment.

  738. This is our relationship with Christ that is brought about

  739. by the Holy Spirit. The Greek word for this is chrisma,

  740. and the example again is first John twenty seven. This

  741. is not charisma. Strong's for fifty four six. There's minister

  742. I'm gonna finish the sermon in tongues.

  743. You all get the interpretation.

  744. There's ministerial anointing, and this is what we are anointed

  745. to do. It's a proclamation, a special touch for a

  746. special task. This type of anointing is provisional and you

  747. will feel it come upon you for the task at hand,

  748. and it lifts off after the ministry is complete. Anybody

  749. ever come under this heavy, heavy presence of the Lord

  750. and then you're ministering and then all of a sudden

  751. it lifts and you're like, what I do wrong?

  752. Why do it lifts?

  753. That is your ministerial anointing. It's like the hand of

  754. the Lord comes upon you to tear that lion apart.

  755. Once the line's torn apart, then that intensity subsides. See,

  756. it's important that you all understand this because if you're

  757. gonna partner with the Lord in the midst of advancing

  758. the kingdom, you actually need to know what you're doing.

  759. To some degree. It helps at times.

  760. Sometimes God bypasses us and we're praying for someone and

  761. the Lord heals them of something they didn't even ask about,

  762. and what they were asking.

  763. About they don't get healed. Anybody been there.

  764. I've prayed for people like, yeah, you pray for me

  765. last Sunday and I was like, she goes, yeah, what

  766. you prayed for didn't get healed, but I got healed

  767. of this. I was like, Okay, I do my best work.

  768. By mistake, the anointing breaks the yoke of bondage. The

  769. weights off of people Isaiah ten twenty seven. Your gift

  770. doesn't break the anointing. The anoint I mean, doesn't break

  771. the yoke the anointing does. Fresh oil is needed at

  772. different times to break through the strongholds and resistance that

  773. we face in our daily walk. Fresh oil is usually

  774. comes after a difficult battle or to usher in a

  775. new season of our life. It brings well needed refreshing

  776. to our souls just at the right time Psalms ninety

  777. two ten. Remember the angels came and ministered to Jesus

  778. and the wilderness after it was over.

  779. That's fresh oil.

  780. And you, when you're fatigued and worn down from the battle,

  781. you can say, Lord, would you refresh me?

  782. Would you give me fresh oil?

  783. On the Probably one of the strangest encounters of being

  784. refreshed in my life was and I don't share this

  785. much because it's really weird, and people already think I'm weird,

  786. and this might make you think I'm weirder, But I was.

  787. I was in my office.

  788. I was in my office praying one morning. This was

  789. long before the church plant. I was on Water Street,

  790. my little two hundred s griffoot office. Becky was in

  791. the little office next there, and I was only doing

  792. prayer ministry full time at the time, and one morning

  793. I was super tired. I don't know how many sessions

  794. I'd done that week, and I was like, Lord, would

  795. you just release your angels to refresh me? And all

  796. of a sudden, I felt this presence of a nose

  797. of a horse nuzzling my arm. I had my eyes

  798. closed and my hands are out, and with each nuzzle

  799. my strength increased. And I thought, Lord, if I out

  800. my eyes, is there gonna be a horse in my office?

  801. Like only what's going on here? And I out my

  802. eyes and I'm a seer and I didn't see anything,

  803. but in the spirit there was.

  804. A horse there. Well what a horses represent in scripture?

  805. Power and authority. I was being refreshed with power and authority.

  806. You may think that strange. Read your Bible. It gets weirder.

  807. So most kings, priests, and prophets were only anointed with

  808. the sacred oil once in a lifetime. David and Jesus

  809. were anointed three times. David was anointed as a teenager

  810. for Samuel sixteen thirteen. David was anointed as King of

  811. Judah and second Samuel two four, and David was anointed

  812. as king of Israel and second Samuel five to three.

  813. Jesus was anointed at his baptism John one thirty two,

  814. He was anointed by Mary John twelve three, and he

  815. was anointed by Nicodemus John nine to forty one. Remember

  816. in Ecclesiastes ten to one, it says, just like dead

  817. flies spoil the ointment, so does.

  818. A little sin to a believer.

  819. It says it's the In Ecclesiastes, it says it's the

  820. dead flies that spoil the ointment. Now, if you know

  821. anything about shepherding, I've never been a literal shepherd. I

  822. mean you are my sheep, but metaphorically speaking. But they

  823. would put fresh oil on the sheep's heads and their

  824. noses to keep the flies off. Why because those flies

  825. would lay eggs and then cause those sheep problems. Beelzebub,

  826. Lord of the thing about your mind? Fresh oil?

  827. Are you with me? Oil on your head?

  828. Protection from the thoughts the flies.

  829. I'm almost done. Hang in there, listen quickly.

  830. In the time of the Jewish Temple, there were four

  831. major pressings from the olive harvest. The first pressing was

  832. used for the temples, manorah, or for the oil of

  833. the anointing. The second pressing was oil used for oil

  834. lamps to give light in the homes. The third pressing

  835. was used for cooking purposes, and the fourth pressing was

  836. for medical purposes. As prophetic ministers, we must be able

  837. to discern between a person's gift and the anointing. A

  838. gift can function and a person regardless of their character,

  839. if a person is living in sin and moving in

  840. their gift. The common mistake is for believers to think

  841. that God's stamp of approval is on their life and

  842. therefore assume that minister is living a godly lifestyle. We

  843. must never fall into the trap of depending on our

  844. gifts instead of having character and intimacy with God. The

  845. anointing flows from the secret place. Last point the Greek

  846. word forfilled, like all through acts, and they were filled,

  847. and they were filled, and they were filled, and noticed

  848. they kept having fillings. They were baptized at the day

  849. of Pentecost, and yet somehow they were filled again, and

  850. then they were filled again, and then they were filled again.

  851. That word ful phil is pletho, and it means furnish, accomplish, fill, supply,

  852. or complete, And this word is found twenty four times

  853. in the New Covenant.

  854. It properly means to fill.

  855. To the maximum extent, to capacity. So wouldn't it make

  856. sense that the disciples, as they're growing in Christ and

  857. their spirits are actually growing that now there's more capacity

  858. for the Holy Spirit. Imagine your spirit like a water hose,

  859. and the water's the Lord, the Holy Spirit. Do you

  860. want a garden hose or do you want a fire hydrant? So,

  861. now understanding that principle, go back and look at the

  862. scriptures where it talks about edifying or strengthening your spirit.

  863. Are y' all with me?

  864. I'm giving you a principle, a teaching in this moment,

  865. how to strengthen your spirit, how to expand your spirit,

  866. how to position yourself for a fresh filling of the

  867. Holy Spirit. Because the disciples, over and over and over,

  868. as they grew in Christ, as their spirit expanded in Him,

  869. they would be filled, and they were filled again, and

  870. many times they were filled and the building shook, there

  871. was an earthquake. When's the last time you were an

  872. intercession in the building shook? Don't I mean this place

  873. may have may look like it's shaken a couple of times.

  874. But so at the end of the day, we've got

  875. to get back into a place where we are way

  876. more impressed with character and intimacy with the Lord. There's

  877. more shakings coming, intense shakings, and we need to get

  878. into a place of maturation with the Lord so that

  879. when things are shaking and people are shaking around us.

  880. They go, what's your problem?

  881. You're at peace? And you're like, yeah, I read the end.

  882. I know who I am. I know that you're shaking.

  883. Isn't the Kingdom? And that's why you're shaking. See when

  884. I hear testimonies of like Heidie Baker standing in front

  885. of a bunch of gunmen with machine guns pointed at

  886. her face, and she has all her little orphans with her,

  887. and she's laughing at them, literally laughing, and their guns

  888. are loaded eight ks and she's laughing at them.

  889. That's cool. I'm impressed with that.

  890. Because the one time I risked my life for the

  891. Gospel when I was in Egypt and the car bomb

  892. went off outside the conference room, I thought I was

  893. a dead man, and I was not laughing. I was

  894. a few shades whiter in that moment. A whole group

  895. of ministers started laughing at me because they could tell

  896. that I was not at peace.

  897. So what did that tell me?

  898. Justin you have a long way to go before you

  899. laugh at machine guns. If you can't run with men,

  900. how are you going to run with horses.

  901. There's a spiritual principle there, and I want to tell y'all.

  902. We're gonna have to run with the horses and the

  903. days ahead, and that day is coming away sooner than

  904. you think. We need to continue to pray for our country,

  905. pray for November, and pray for Israel.

  906. Let's stand prayer team. Please, all right, I want to

  907. do something.

  908. If you need fresh oil, I want you to go

  909. in this aisle here between these two rows, line all the.

  910. Way to the back.

  911. If you have never really experienced the anointing of God,

  912. get in that line and go all the way back.

  913. And if everyone needs fresh oil, we may have to

  914. make two lines. Everyone's going to the right lane. So again,

  915. this line over here that not many people are in

  916. is the line of you've never really experienced that corporate

  917. anointing where the hand of the Lord comes upon you

  918. and then lifts if you will. Okay, the entire church

  919. is fresh oil are a you're Are you the only

  920. one in that line? Well, go ahead, you come up here,

  921. you're you're y'all come up here, come yeah.

  922. Come up here. And then the fresh oil line.

  923. Let's go ahead and split that in half and come

  924. go ahead and sit saying the aisles on two sides,

  925. so like yeah, no, yeah, so yeah, all y'all that

  926. are on the yeah, just come up that way. Okay,

  927. Now y'all are wondering what's next. Maybe, okay, Anthony, would

  928. you play the piano, So everybody put your hands out

  929. like it's Christmas. You're used to me always asking you

  930. to do that.

  931. So now here's what we're gonna do. We're gonna ask the.

  932. Holy Spirit to come tangibly, and you're actually gonna expect

  933. him to show up in a.

  934. Heavier, tangible way. All right. Then, when you feel that shift,

  935. some of you are gonna feel heat. You're gonna get hot,

  936. your hands are gonna get hot.

  937. You're you're gonna start sweating, some of you might start tingling,

  938. some of you your lips may start feeling weird. Because

  939. when the Holy Spirit starts to move, everyone physically responds

  940. a little bit differently to the anointings.

  941. You just feel that? Who felt that? So see now

  942. the Lord's starting to move. There was just a shift

  943. right there, Oh, right there. Who's feeling that? Who's feeling

  944. the Yeah? Somebody who? Yeah, I know. But some who

  945. pulled the oil out.

  946. They're like, it's super natural. This really works now there there,

  947. And it's not abnormal to literally have supernatural fragrances come

  948. into the room.

  949. We've had it here before in the classes and different things.

  950. Okay, I'll just close your eyes for a minute. So

  951. Holy Spirit and the Mighty Name of Jesus, would you

  952. bring fresh oil?

  953. Now?

  954. Lord, would you bring fresh oil? Would you begin to wash?

  955. Thank you for listening.
