Unlocking Kingdom Prosperity

You're listening to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the Week,

we helped you enjoy this message from Justin Carpenter. If

you're visiting, I don't know what tell you, but I'm

actually speaking on a subject that I've rarely spoken on

in the last eight years. And but it's probably your

stereotypical I went to visit church and he spoke on money.

Here we are, but I actually I'm gonna and you

can ask, like, literally, I've spoke on money maybe four times,

three times and eight years and uh, but the Lord's

really been moving on my heart lately, h on Kingdom prosperity,

which is much more than just money. And so I

want to give you a little disclaimer. In the American Church,

the moment we talk about money, we have a tendency

to start thinking about your prosperity gospel, or I should

say the abuses thereof. So as I begin this teaching,

please understand this is not your name it claimant, slap

it and pap it. And you give a car, you

get a car. Everybody gets a car. This is an oprah.

So but what I'm going to talk to you about

is starting in Deuteronomy eight eighteen look, she's already offended.

She's leaving all this. I'm not taking up an offering.

We already did that. Okay, okay, Well we'll see if

she comes back anyways. Deuteronomy eight eighteen says this, you

shall remember the Lord your god, for it is he

who gives you power to get wealth, that he may

confirm his covenant that he swore to your father's as

it is this day. Now. I've been pondering this scripture

a lot lately, and the Lord keeps bringing it back

up in my spirit. And there's two points in this

scripture that really stick out to me. Number one is

why do we need power to make wealth? Are y

all with me? If you need power to make wealth,

then there is a spiritual warfare application that is actually

resisting your ability to make wealth. Are y' all with me?

If money was bad, then when Satan took everything from job,

he actually would have made him even more rich. But

he actually took his finances with him, took his he

made him sick, took his money, took everything. I can

tell this is just onto your breeches and your wallets.

It's fine that he may confirm his covenant. So Secondly,

How in the world does God giving us the power

to make wealth? Now forget the American abuse of the

gospel of the prosperity gospel, because the moment right now,

when you're thinking about wealth, you're thinking of the old

Jim Baker that was arrested, the abuses and all this

other stuff. That's not what I'm talking about. Are y'all

with me? Am? I making this clear? Okay? But if

we need power to make wealth, that means there's a

spiritual war for application. The enemy is resisting you in

your finances and living a kingdom of prosperous kingdom life.

Or are we on the same page. I want to

make sure as I move forward, I don't lose y'all.

And secondly, how in the world does that confirm a covenant?

Which before you start arguing with me about this issue

of well, that's old covenant. We're in the New Covenant.

All the promises are yes and name in Yes and

Amen in Christ. Are y' all with me? Is that

the word okay? Is Abraham the father of many nations?

Was Abraham told that he would be the father of gentiles? Yes, hello, people,

nations goem okay? Moving forward? So why do we need

God's power to make wealth? The enemy attacking your wealth

is a direct attack on the covenant of God. When

we give the enemy legal rights to attack us through iniquity, sin,

lie based thinking, unforgiveness towards others, and willful rebellion, it

makes it easy to devour our provision and wealth. When

the enemy attacks our wealth, it is the enemy accusing

the Lord and saying he doesn't have the power to

carry out as covenant with us. There is a poverty

spirit over Ingram. Anybody figure that out? Yet? Like you,

Kurville is in one place hunt and there's like this

pocket in Ingram. And I want to tell you that

I absolutely want to see the spirit of poverty taken down.

But you can have a spirit of poverty and actually

be rich. Are you all with me? Okay? If God

is giving you the ability to create wealth rather than

get it, then the whole motivation is to serve and

add massive value to others, which is a kingdom motivation.

Jim Baker said that not to be mistaken with the

Jim Baker that went to prison. There's another Jim Baker

out of Ohio who's a pastor who wrote an amazing

book on when Heaven invades your finances. So when I

say Jim Baker a couple of time time through this teaching,

understand I'm not talking about then Jim Baker that was arrested.

But I have good news. He repented and he's no

longer going down that stream. He's actually in a good place.

So how does it confirm his covenant with his people? Well,

it's part of the promise of Genesis seventeen that God

made with Abram when he was asleep in a dream.

See some of you still don't really value dreams much.

But the reality is God actually met Abram in a

dream technically a night vision and cut covenant with him.

And then he woke up and guess what that covenant

he cut with him in the spirit actually manifested in

the natural. That was good. Justin number two, for all

the promises of God in him are yes, and in

him Amen to the glory of God through us Tewod

Corinthians one twenty. Here's a question, was Jesus poor? Now?

When if you look at the offering his parents made

when he was just, I mean super tiny, it was

a it was an offering for poor people. But that

was actually before the wise men showed up and gave

him gifts. Now watch this, Oh, we're gonna get tension

in the room. And going into the house, they saw

the child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down

and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasurers, they offered him

gifts gold and frankencense and mr like muhr Rabbi's Matthew

two eleven, I mean two, yeah, Matthew two eleven. A

pound of frankensentse was worth five hundred dollars a pound,

a pound of murr was four thousand do a pound,

and a pound of gold was valued at six hundred dollars,

and in today's market, a pound of gold is worth

roughly forty one thousand, two hundred and thirty six dollars

and sixteen cents. We don't know the exact amount that

was given to Jesus, but some estimate the value of

those gifts and today's market to be two to three

million dollars. When's the last time you heard that? Well played,

Mark Piper, well played? If you didn't hear him. He

goes first service, it's part of the worship team. This

is the second time he gets to hear me teach,

I love you now again. I'm not going down the

avenue to tell you that everybody's got to be a millionaire.

Please don't hear that. That's not my intent. If you

think that's my intent, then you're wrong. But it's not

spiritual to be broke. I came out of a background

where lots of people actually, you know, the ultimate level

of maturation in Jesus was to be on a mission

field flat broke in a hut. And that's not Sean

asked me earlier. He goes, well, does this teaching work

in other countries as well? See, there's a lot of

stuff we say in America. We have one liners and

cliches that we say here that I can tell you

won't work in other countries. I can tell you there's

things that I hear all the time here that if

you go, like when I was in Egypt and preaching

at a pastor's conference, that dog don't hunt you. Tell you, oh,

don't worry, you'll be protected, You'll be safe. Tell that

to the guy whose entire family was martyred. Are you

all with me? Okay, Now that everybody's confused, I'll move on.

So it wasn't exactly true that Jesus was broke. Now,

I know rich people that are not wealthy, and I

know wealthy people that aren't rich. Are you all with me?

I'm trying to be very careful here. This is money

and politics in church can ruffle feathers very quickly, right,

I mean, you know, I kind of like to ruffle

feathers every once in a while. But moving on, and

Genesis fourteen is where the word tithe first appears. So

I have a question. If the word tithe for the

very first time appears in Genesis fourteen, and that's between

Abraham and Melkezedek, then guess what it's not under the wall.

The tithe came four hundred and thirty years before the wall.

Well this is going over well, okay? Moving on. The

Hebrew word for tithe is messur. It means a tenth part.

The word occurs thirty two times in the Old Covenant

when Abraham tied to Melkezedek. It was four hundred and

thirty years before the law was given according to Galatians

three seventeen. So here's some statistics. I love statistics because

they get they paint a beautiful picture of where we're

at right. Only twenty one percent of Christians see either

get or actually give ten percent or more of their income.

Forty three percent of Christians say they know what the

term tithe means. Five percent of the church goers tithe

on a consistent basis. Those who don't give, I'm sorry.

Fifty percent of those who donate give about two percent

of their income on average. Roughly fifty percent of the

people who submitted building campaign pledges actually for Cross Kingdom

fulfilled their personal commitment to the Lord. Churches in the

US received twenty seven percent of all donations so all

giving in twenty twenty one in the United States, the

church received twenty seven percent of that. Do you know

in nineteen fifty four the church received seventy percent of

all giving. See there's a massive distrust in the church today.

In fact, many believers actually do self directed giving. They go, oh,

I'm generous, but they give their money where they please,

which is nothing more than cloaked rebellion with a religious

skirt that went overwill Tewod Corinthians nine six to ten.

But this I say, he who sows spiringly will also

reap sparingly. And he who sows bountifully, will also reap bountifully.

And I just want to address something. Some of you

all right now are thinking, but I can't afford to give.

I can't afford to tithe. I promise you. There's one

place in the scripture in Melachi where God says, test me,

and I want to tell you, thus saith the Lord.

Test him. You know why I can say, thus saith

the Lord, because he said it. It's in his word.

People test him and see if he won't open heaven up.

And there are things that he will give you that

have nothing to do with money. Okay, this is great.

This is great. So let each one give as he

purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity. For

God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to

make all grace abound towards you, that you always having

all sufficiency, and all things may have an abundance every

good work, as it is written, he has dispersed abroad.

He's given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. Now,

may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread

for food, supply and multiply the seed you've sown, and

increase the fruits of your righteousness. Mark fourteen seven says this,

for you always have the poor with you, and whenever

you want, you can do good for them, but you

will not always have me. Jesus said that, interestingly, one

of the ways to live a generous life is to

actually give to the poor. You know, when you give

to the poor, they and they can't give you anything back.

That's actually a real test of the motive of your

heart for why you bless someone. In fact, I'd say this,

if God moves on your heart to bless somebody and

you bless them, and then they say nothing, and then

you get offended because they didn't respond in the way

you thought they should, your heart's not right. That was free.

Whoever's generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and

he will repay him for his deed. You know, in

Scripture it says that God will not be mocked whatever

a man sows, that also will he reap. So that means,

whether you're a believer or not a believer, you are

not exempt from the law of God. Are y'all with me?

I can tell you that the world, the wealthy in

the world, understands this principle because contrary to all the

fake news out there. Most wealthy people are extremely generous

because they understand this principle. Even though you're not told that.

You're taught in our culture to actually hate rich people,

really that they're not paying their fair share in taxes.

If I really wanted to ruffle feathers, I could go

down that rabbit hole. But I won't, at least not today.

Matthew six twenty four. No one can serve two masters,

for either he will hate the one and love the other,

or else he will be loyal to the one and

despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon. Now,

I want to tell you what you're going to realize

is the reason why you need power to make wealth

is because of the spirit of Mammon. That's who you're

being challenged by. Okay, awful quiet. Mammon comes from a

Greek word mamminos. Some scholars cite Mammon as the name

of a Syrian and Chaldean god similar to the Greek

god of wealth Plutus. Mammon wants you to trust in

it rather than God. Did you know finances are actually

one of the number one reasons why people divorce is money?

Because it creates so much stress on marriages, and then

people turn in their marriages and they fight and they

freak out because of mammon and a poverty spirit. When

we know who we are, whose we are, and that

He's actually good, and it says that seek first the

Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all of these

other things will be added unto you. You can stop

worrying about so much of the stuff that you freak

out about, and stop worrying about finances, stop worrying about bills,

and you can actually begin to live a lifestyle of

generosity because you know you have a good father who

is going to take care of you. David said, in

all of his life, he's never saw the righteous forsaken

nor begging for bread. Mammon puts a deep fear in

your heart that God is not going to take care

of you. How many of us has more bills than

paycheck at the end of the week. Have you ever

been there? Hello, It's not fun, is it? And the

first thing we want to do in that moment is

to recoil, turn inward and become self centered and only

focus on ourselves in that moment, And that's the exact

opposite that you need to do. I said this in

first service Becky Becky Bones in the back. Becky and

I when I started across Kingdom ministries in twenty thirteen.

Becky's had to put up with me since twenty twelve

when I met her. And there were times we'd get

to the end of the week because I was doing

prayer ministry full time, she was in the office and

we always do everything by love offering. We'd never turn

anybody away from ministry. And there was many weeks so

she can attest to this that we'd get to the

end of the week. There was a twenty five dollars

donation for the whole week. My wife was ready to

brain me because we had a I think our overhead

was four grand a month at that time. And yeah,

and I'd look at Becky and be like, hey, you

need some gas money. She's like yeah. So I'd give

her half the twenty five and we'd split it and

we each go get gas money. But during that season,

the Lord taught me to depend upon him, to depend

upon his word, to test him, to try him, and

there were times where he led me to do things

I never wanted to do. There was one time I

got one hundred dollars. At the end of the week,

I was two thousand dollars behind on bills, and the

Lord sudden, I'll go sell that hundred bucks. I was like,

the true Lord, Jesus, what do you want to say

to me? Lord? Is that you man? I'm having a

hard day here in his hard time right now? And

so I literally went down sold that one hundred dollars

into another ministry. Keep in mind, I was two grand

behind on my bills, and he taught me a very

valuable lesson. He said, with the measure you use, it's

measured back, pressed down, shaken together overflowing in your lap.

It's like the widow's might. When I gave everything I had,

that it justified him to give him from him whatever

measure he chose, and he doesn't have any lack. And

within twenty four hours somebody donated two thousand dollars and

I paid my bills. Oh it's better than that, people. Yeah,

you have to understand. I'm only teaching on this right

now because I know the Lord told me to. I

don't like talking about money. In case you hadn't figured

it out, have you been here for eight years. But

because of that, I've done y'all a disservice to not

equip you in kingdom finances. And it's time if we're

going to break the spirit of poverty over this region,

that we actually understand what kingdom prosperity is. And it

goes way beyond just dollar bills. Goes you getting rid

of a poverty spirit. Having a fear of lack in

every aspect of your life is a huge issue, and

it goes back to a lack of trust and a

good father. This is my fourth cup of coffee. People

on Revon, So what is kingdom prosperity? Jim Baker, the

one not arrested, says his definition of kingdom prosperity, which

is biblical. Hello, you have no financial debt and you

have more than enough money to fulfill God's divine assignments

and to help others do the same. He also says

that prosperity is about having influence and impact and that

is not selfish to desire it. Listen, if you own money,

then you can tell it where to go because you

understand that God owns it and you're just a money

manager for him. But when money owns you, and you

become selfish. You live at the expense of others, and

you live in a fear of lack, and you try

to hoard everything you get, and then what you have

will be taken because you're not stewarding it correctly. And

you'll never get entrusted with real kingdom wealth because of

your lack of stewardship, your lack of trust, and the selfishness.

This is the narcissistic gospel. Proverbs three nine and ten.

Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first

fruits of your produce. Then your barns will be filled

with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.

There's that whole wine thing again from last week. Sewod Samuels, Samuels,

there's only one of them. Second Samuel twelve, seven and eight.

Then Nathan said to David, you are the man. This

is on the cuffs where David had just committed adultery.

He just did premeditated murder, putting your Rayah to the

line right not you know not. You put him in

the front line, had him taken out. And Nathan comes

gives a parable and the King says, King David, that

man shaild Bubba you know, gives his answer, and Nathan says, well,

that man's you, David. And thus says the Lord God

of Israel, I anointed you king over Israel, and I

delivered you from the hand of Saul. I gave you

your master's house and your master's wives into your keeping,

and gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And

if that had not or if that had been too little,

I also would have given you much more. I find

it so interesting that on the cuffs of Date, one

of David's biggest sins that he committed. You see God

saying I gave you all of this stuff, and Dave,

had that not been enough, I would have given you

more had you asked me. Why is it that we

think that we have to beg plead cry out to

get God to take care of us when he sits

there and tells King David, who just committed adultery and murder,

that I gave you all of this stuff, and had

that not been enough, I would have given you more

of you just asked so Malachi three eight to twelve.

This is where each of you I want to challenge

y'all if money has owned you. This is your scripture

the fear of lack. If if you've been living in

scarcity rather than a lifestyle of generosity, this is the

scripture for you. Malachi three eight to twelve. Will man

rob God? Yet you're robbing me? But you say, how

have we robbed you? In your tithes and contributions? You

are cursed with a curse for you are robbing me.

So when you don't tithe, you're robbing God. How's that? Son?

And guess what I've said this from day one. I

know I'm doing what God's called me to do. I

know provision follows assignment and God's going to be faithful.

But y'all, some of you are making it way more

harder on yourselves than it needs to be. And that

you're going to wrestle with God on this. Where your

treasure is there, your heart will be also, what do

you treasure? If they did a forensic audit on your

checking account? Right now? Would Jesus show up, bring the

full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food

in my house and thereby put me to the test,

says the Lord of Hosts. If I will not open

the windows of heaven for you and pour down for

you a blessing until there is no more need. I

will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will

not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine

in the field shall not fail to bear, says the

Lord of Host. Then all nations will call you blessed,

for you will be a land of delight, says the

Lord of Host. I have a question us, goe eem

us gentiles, if were to provoke the jew to jealousy.

The only way you provoke Jewish people to jealousy is

if you're actually living and manifesting the covenant they were given,

and they're saying you prosper and create wealth just like

God promised. Then that when they see the blessings of

Israel in a gentile's life, that is what causes jealousy

for a Jewish person. Are you all awake? So what

does he say in Malachi three eight to twelve, opens

up the windows of heaven, rebukes the devour So instead

of living paycheck to paycheck, you'll have enough. Won't destroy

what you have, your fruit and your harvest that is

on the way the vine. But when we say this

is my money, I'm gonna do it. I want. Nobody

can tell me what to do. I ain't given to

that stupid church. They have enough money. They do this

and they do that, and I don't like it. So

I'm gonna be self directed in everything I do. That

is not God's heart. He expects way more for his kids.

Are y all with me? I promise y'all when we

align our lives with His word, not with justin, not

what I want, not what I desire, but His word.

When you honor God, God honors you, and I am

living proof of it. Who all right, Lord, I'm going

to keep teaching Joel two twenty one to twenty seven.

Fear not, old land, be glad and rejoice, for the

Lord has done great things. Fear not you beast to

the field, for the pastors of the wilderness are green.

The trees or the tree bears its fruit. The fig,

tree and vine give their full yield. Be glad, old

children of Zion, and rejoice in the lords your God,

for He's given the early rain for your vindication. He's

poured down for you abundant rain. You know, there was

a time when drought hit people actually had the sense

to understand that God was trying to get their attention,

and not everything was blamed on global warming. Are y

all with me? See if we naturalize everything, even with

weather patterns, and everything's totally natural, then the ways in

which God says, I cause it to rain on one

land and I withhold it from another, I got news

for you. God is sovereign. God is greater than seeding

clouds with jets. Hopefully that doesn't get us too flagged.

But he says, the early and the latter reign as before,

the threshing floors shall be full of grain. The thatat

shall overflow with wine and oil. I will restore to

you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper,

the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army which I

sent among you. You shall eat and plenty, and be satisfied,

and praise the name of the Lord your God, who

has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never

again be put to shame. You shall know that I

am in the midst of Israel, and that I am

the Lord your God, and there's none else, and my

people shall never again be put to shame. I want

to say something. We are in the process of heading

into a reprieve, the mercy of the Lord over our nation.

This reprieve could be as short as four years. Don't

get comfortable, don't fall as This is God's mercy over

the church and over the country. But how we stewart

this mercy determines a whole lot. And I believe with

all my heart there are still difficult times, extremely difficult

times ahead of us. And I want to encourage you

to get your house in order. Number one. Spiritually, you husbands,

if you're not leading your home, it's time to lead

your home. It's time to rise up, have oil in

your lamp, and not be asleep. It's time to allow

the Lord to prune the areas of your life. Any

area you're resisting. Call it what it is. It's rebellion,

don't call it's my personality. I'm a d SO. I

can be a jerk. No, that's not how that works,

y'all with me. I'm not against personality test. If I

just hurt some of your feelings, I happen to be

a d I so, And if you don't know what

that is, that's the disc test. Yeah, moving on, Okay,

So the point is this, whoever sows sparingly will also

reap sparingly. Whoever sews bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each

one must give as he decides in his heart, not

reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

I'll never forget we were, you know, seven oh eight,

we got our clock cleaned, housing market, broke my ankle

sitting on two spec houses. Lisa was diagnosed with autoimmune

liver disease, told never to have another child. I mean,

we were going through hell. That's what transition is. By

the way, if you're wondering, so don't stop and transition

keep going. And so we were getting our high ends

handed to us during this time. We move away to Denver, Colorado.

This is where I actually met Rich in two thousand

and nine. And one night we we worshiped on Saturday nights.

This was before he moved to Sunday mornings. And I,

you know, we get done with the worship. I was

drumming there and I sit down and Lisa looks over

at me and she goes, do you think God can

supernaturally fill up our gas tank? Not the question I

expected to have when I sat down after worship, and

I go, well, yeah, why well, I just gave our

last forty dollars and put it in the offering basket.

She needed milk for Micah. He was just a wee

little lad and I mean, just a baby, and and

she's out of gas. I looked at her. I said,

did the Lord tell you to do it? Because sometimes

you think you're gonna move God, and you're just gonna

learn a hard lesson, you know what I'm saying. And

I said, did the Lord tell you to do it?

She said, yes, this and then don't worry about it.

And a service comes. This lady comes up to me.

She goes, hey, the Lord told me I was to

give you this before service started. And she reached her

hand out and put money in my pocket. I'm in

my hand and as I'm walking away, I vaguely remember

the conversation with Lisa, and I'm like, wouldn't that be

crazy if there are two twenty dollars bills because that's

what she put in the basket, and I thought, oh,

there's no way as and I didn't want to open

up in front of them be rude, like OK, and uh.

And as I'm walking off, I open my hand and

there's two twenty dollars bills. So I go straight to Lisa.

I said, here, on, here's your forty bucks. What you

go put that back in the basket? Now true story.

I'm like, I'm like, hun, I read annonaisensea fire. I

ain't taking any money out of a basket. And and

I said, Lisa, I said, think about that lesson of

God's provision for us. I said, I firmly believe that

woman would have given us forty b no matter what.

And had you not been obedient to the Lord and

put that forty in the basket and that and that

lady would have given us forty bucks, you would not

have had a testimony. You would have felt defeated because

he's good, he's she she would have been obedient. The

Lord moved on that lady's heart while he before he

even talked to Lisa about it. Yeah, it's we all

love hearing about you know, God providing earthly you know,

provision and stuff. But what if we get rid of poverty?

What if a whole city doesn't have any poverty? What

if what if instead of giving someone money to pay

for medical bills that actually get healed. See this is

the difference between earthly which is still good. I'm not

just diminished any of that, But there's that we're called

to a higher measure. We're called to destroy hell. We

want to get into a place where people are literally

seeing miracle signs and wonders and seeing the works of

the enemy destroyed. But if there's any part of you

that actually thinks being poor is spiritual, you're going to

come into agreement with the spirit of Mammon and the

poverty spirit, and you're going to stay there with a

false sense of spirituality. Here with me, I'm almost done.

If you're offended, you won't be offended in nine more minutes.

But I have to finish my message because it's huge. No,

nobody preaches on money the way I preach on money. Sorry,

I decided to try that out. That was my impersonation

of Trump. If you're wondering, the bullet missed me, graze

my hair. Okay, moving on, I'm your pastor. I'll work

on that. I'll try to get better with my impersonations,

I promise, and then I will torment you with them.

Say Luke six thirty eight, I mean we were playing

Leonard skinnrd in worshiped just an hour ago. People, come on,

give me a break, Luke Sicks thirty eight, give and

it would be given to you. Good measure, pressed down,

shaken together, running over, it'll be put into your lap.

For with the measure you use, it's measured back to you.

Now here's the deal. With the measure you use, it's

measured back. So every single time we literally gave everything

we had to our name, it then justifies the Father

to give in whatever measure he desires as the king

of the universe and owns everything. These are spiritual principles

that you need to understand. So when things get squeezed,

money's being squeezed, provisions being squeezed, all resources are being squeezed,

you move in the opposite spirit to break it. You

don't come into agreement with it by squeezing down, getting

fearful and selfish. Are y'all with me? I hope there's

a day that comes when one day we literally just

have an entire day of testimonies of God breaking in

and doing financial miracles and breaking the back of the

enemy and poverty over this region. Matthew twenty two, eighteen

to twenty one. But Jesus aware of their malice, said,

why do you put me to the test, you hypocrites.

I love it when he says, you hypocrites, you white

walled sepulchers, woe under you. Show me the coin for

the tax. And they brought them a denarius. And Jesus

said to them, whose likeness and inscription is in this?

Is this? They said, Caesar's. Then he said to them, therefore,

render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to

God the things that are God's. I want to tell

you something. I don't care if you like the government

or not. If you're cheating on your taxes and things

aren't going good for you financially. That's why Proverbs three

nine to ten. Now, I'm not saying you don't use

every single write off legally available. I believe in that too, Proverbs.

But don't go to prison. Honor the Lord with your

possessions and with the first fruits of your increase, so

your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats

will overflow with new wine. Y'all, do you understand this

is about turning all of our time, talents, and resources

and actually viewing it with the Father, not with man.

Are y'all with me? So so when we do the

offering every Sunday, you can look at it two ways.

You can be like, I ain't given to this church, ain't

doing this, I ain't doing that, blah blah blah. Or

you can actually look at it like, hey, I have

an opportunity to honor God with my tithe. It's already

his in case you hadn't figured it out, All of

it's his everything. We have, the air we Breathe is

the breath of his life, his spirit. It's all his. Yeah,

that went overwhelmed Tewod Corinthians nine six to ten. The

point is this, whoever so sparingly will also reap spariently.

Whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must

give as he's decided in his heart, not reluctantly or

under compulsion. For God loves a cheerful giver, and God

is able to make all grace abound to you, so

that having all sufficiency in all things, at all times,

you may they abound in every good work. Does that

sound like lack? Does it sound like God wants to

put you on the battlefield and you don't have everything

you need to win. As it is written, he's distributed freely.

He has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever.

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for

food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and

increase the harvest of your righteousness. So what is it saying?

Second Corinthians nine tells me that assignment follows provision. Seek

first his kingdom and his righteousness. All these other things

will be added under you when you're obedient to walk

in what the Lord's called you to walk in. You

should not be worried about provision, because there's an abundance

of provision attached to the good works you're called the

walk in. According to second grid, are y'all with me?

That should make you way happier than you're acting right now.

The issue is, are you walking in what God's called

you to walk in? Or are you walking what you

want to walk in? Asking for him to bless it?

Three minutes land in the plane, and he looked up

and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury.

And he saw also a certain poor widow putting in

two mites. So he said, truly, I say to you

that this poor widow has put in more than all

for all these out of their abundance, have put in

offerings for God, but she, out of her poverty, put

in all the livelihood that she has. Y'all, regardless of

where you're at, God's not judging you based on somebody

else's life, of what they have or don't have. He's

dealing with you for where your treasure is there your

heart will be. Also, He's dealing with you with where

you're at on an individual, as an individual. So guess

what if you're a greeter at Walmart, which is what

I want to do to retire, I just want to

greet people at Walmart, And if you're a greeeder at Walmart,

it doesn't matter. It's based on that. It's not based

on somebody else's life. Are y'all with me? And it

is an honor and a privilege to literally have ruthless trust.

There's a book by Brendan Manning called Ruthless Trust, an

amazing book. God has called us to live in the impossible,

not flirt with it. Jesus said, apart from the Father,

I can do nothing right John five. And guess what

apart from the Lord, we can do nothing. All things

are possible for those who believe, but you actually got

to allow the Lord to put you in impossible situations

for those things to happen, to see them bow their

need to Jesus. If he's the healer, that means you

need healing. We want a gospel with no price. We

want to see miracle, signs and wonders, but with not

any real persecution or trial or test. But do you

understand when he manifests his names, it's because there's a

need there. He's Jehovah Jiro. He's our provider. That means

you need provision in that moment. He's Jehovah Rafa the healer,

because you need healing in that moment. And as sons

and daughters, we are put on planet Earth right now,

left behind to advance the Gospel the Kingdom, destroy the

works of the evil One, and preach the good news

to the ends of the earth. This is our assignment.

We're called to be servants the Greatest and the Kingdom,

a servant of all. That means we don't lord our

lives or our positions over anyone, but we actually serve

the celebrity, the celebrity preachers been being judged in case

you were wondering, Luke six thirty five. But love your enemies,

do good and lend, hoping for nothing in return, and

your reward will be great, and you will be sons

of the most High, for he is kind to the

unthankful and evil. There's another test. Your enemy get blessed?

Does it tick you off? You want to cut his

ear off? Are you go? Thank you, Lord, because it's

your goodness that draws men to repentance. Lord, thank you

that maybe this one act that you just did for

this person will actually draw them into repentance. They'll give

their lives to Jesus and they won't have to spend

eternity in hell. Lord, bless them, bless them more, Lord,

ruin them with your goodness. Lord, use me to bless

my enemies, because you put them in my life to

promote me, not to hurt me. I'll leave you with this,

Matthew six twenty one, for where your treasure is there,

your heart will be also. He who has pity on

the poor lens to the Lord, and he will pay

back what he's given. Proverbs nineteen seventeen. It's time that

we get over the fear of money, the fear of

talking about money. It's time we get over hearing teachings

about money through filters of a Western church and not

throw the baby out with the bathwater. I believe wholeheartedly

it's God's desire that we're not in bondage, that we're

not in a ton of debt, that we actually had

more trust in Jesus than visa for everything else there's MasterCard,

but that we actually live a life according to His word.

How many of us, and I'm speaking y'all, I'm speaking

to me, how many of us have actually given God

enough time to act on our behalf with a need

before we just went out there and got alone, or

got or or went into more debt. How about this?

You think you're called to ministry and yet nothing's coming in.

There was a time when we were in ministry and

my wife was begging the Lord to tell me to

go get a job. And you ask her, she's watching

the live stream because Mike is homesick, but she every

time the Lord said, he's doing what I've called him

to do. No, I know what it's like to have

my wife call at the grocery store and leave her

groceries in the line because we don't have any money.

I know what that's like. That's not fun, and it's

sure the heck hidden spiritual. Now again, don't mishear me.

I'm not saying that every one of you God's gonna

make rich with money. I'm not saying that. But I'm

saying that we need to change the way we think

about what wealth is and understand that God truly desires

to prosper us so that we can be a blessing

to others. Y'all with me? So if, if, if, what

I just I want to challenge you today, ask the

Lord to show you strongholds about finances. You know, I

think I shared last week. The Lord blessed Lisa and

I and we were able to get out of some

debts this past week. And and in that breakthrough when

when when I when we were blessed. In the midst

of that breakthrough, my heart there there was still stuff

there in my heart from childhood. The Lord ripped off

more more layers of healing in my heart concerning the lack.

be the head and not the tail, and we're supposed
