  1. You're listening to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the week.

  2. We helped you enjoyed this message from Justin Carpenter. Actually

  3. I should put that there. Who was here last week? Okay?

  4. Who was not here last week?

  5. You' all are getting really good at do you feel

  6. like you're getting exercise yet worship aerobics?

  7. Well, it's good to be back, I actually, believe.

  8. It or not. I love teaching and I was not

  9. teaching for about a month, so I was chomping at

  10. the bit to teach again.

  11. If you recall last week I talked about.

  12. The theme of this year and some of the some

  13. things that we can expect to see. I think standing

  14. in the Gap was Jehovah sneaky for we still are

  15. going to do hard things and it's an interesting start

  16. of the year.

  17. Who uh, who is just riding the lazy river this

  18. year so far?

  19. Anybody anybody just feel like you're just sipping out of

  20. coconuts or what?

  21. Who?

  22. Who feels like twenty twenty five smacked you in the

  23. face when you woke up January first? How many people

  24. don't know where they're at right now? There was more

  25. hands that's encouraging, very encouraging.

  26. Okay, so quick recap.

  27. Last week we talked about a sign of being out

  28. of alignments, what that looks like Deuteronomy twenty eight. We

  29. talked about times and seasons and realigning with the Lord

  30. and what he wants to.

  31. Do in the season.

  32. We talked about the transition the body of Christ as

  33. in the exposure that's happening. Jony Lamb just resigned from

  34. day Star, Right, Well, that's what I saw last night,

  35. and if it's online, it's got to be true.

  36. People.

  37. I'm being a little facetious there, but from what we

  38. can tell, it looks like that's happened, and there's just

  39. exposures and pruning and correcting. And I literally, since, honestly,

  40. probably for close to ten years, I've been telling people

  41. to get their house in order that what they were

  42. doing in private, if they did not repent of it,

  43. was about to become public. And some words always feel

  44. right now because you're getting it outside of time, and

  45. you know it says judgment or correction starts first with

  46. the House of God, and that right, Becky, are you

  47. paying attention?

  48. You with me?

  49. Becky's been with me for twelve years. We've seen a

  50. thing or two. Right, Actually is it more than twelve years?

  51. Thirteen years number of rebellion, but we're not claiming that, Okay.

  52. So we talked about fifty seven eighty five in the

  53. in the year to possess your promises, and I really

  54. do believe we're going to see a lot of promises fulfilled.

  55. This year may not be easy, but we're going to.

  56. See lots of promises fulfilled. I actually think you're going

  57. to see things that.

  58. You forgot.

  59. God promised you, and you, honestly, you probably just shelfed

  60. it because it was taking so long. Hope deferred makes

  61. the heart sick, right, and you got tired of waiting

  62. on the promise. And I think there's some promises that

  63. are going to be dusted and.

  64. Pulled off the shelf. It's the open window, that's the

  65. divine breath of God. We also talked about prophets.

  66. Being watchmen, and even sometimes prophets going to their enemy

  67. and not wanting to Like Jonah.

  68. Jonah was not a happy camper going to Nineveh.

  69. So he got a first class ticket in the mouth

  70. of a whale, in a big seat for three days

  71. and three nights.

  72. I don't think I want that way of travel personally.

  73. And then you've got Moses, who it's Moses stood before Israel, and.

  74. Picture this.

  75. Moses is with the Lord and he says, go down,

  76. for your people, from whom you brought up out of

  77. the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves. This is where

  78. Aaron says, bring me your gold, and he gets all

  79. the golden. He throws all the gold in the fire,

  80. and to his amazement, out.

  81. Pops this golden calf. That's what he told Moses.

  82. He goes, I don't know, Moses, we just threw all

  83. this gold in here and boom, this golden calf popped out.

  84. Keep in mind Aaron was a prophet and he was

  85. literally hammering idols.

  86. Think about that.

  87. He was a legitimate prophet of God, called a prophet,

  88. and here he was molding and fashioning an idol. We

  89. don't have any idols, do we? Moving on, and he

  90. goes towards the end in Exodus thirty two thirty to

  91. thirty three, and he said, as so, Moses returned to

  92. the Lord and said, alas, this people is sin, to

  93. great sin.

  94. They've made for themselves gods of gold.

  95. But now if you will forgive their sin, But if not,

  96. please block me out of your book that you've written.

  97. Would you be willing to pray and.

  98. Stand in the gap for your rebellious people around you

  99. to that degree, Lord forgive them. But if you don't

  100. blot me out of your book of life and actually

  101. mean it, well, I can hear some of your thoughts

  102. right now, some of the prayers that you would want

  103. to give. Lord, kill them, kill them good. A dirty,

  104. rotten scoundrel doesn't deserve to be alive. And if you

  105. think I'm being too far fetched, if I were to

  106. mention some politicians or corporate names right now, number one

  107. probably lose our live stream. But number two, you may

  108. not have the most fond emotions stir up in the moment,

  109. would you?

  110. Y'all? The love that He's called us.

  111. Too is impossible without him. We hear a whole lot

  112. about the love of God, but we don't see a

  113. whole lot of the love of God displayed. We see

  114. a whole lot of our conditional love. If you meet

  115. my expectations, I will lower the drawbridge of connection and

  116. bless you with my presence. But if you don't, the

  117. wrath of Me is coming. And if you get too

  118. too out of control and you become too much. I'm

  119. going to get a new call of God, and I'm

  120. leaving so i can spiritualize my rebellion.

  121. I'm talking to them over there.

  122. I want to in this second part paint a clearer

  123. picture of what we're standing in the gap, for why

  124. we're standing in the gap, and what you need to

  125. allow the Lord to fortify inside of you, how you

  126. need to be transformed, because I'm telling you the grace

  127. to remain in sin has lifted, and I only want

  128. to say grace, mercy. In his mercy, he is pushing

  129. our junk into the light that we've tried to hide

  130. from him. Are we going to take off our super

  131. spiritual halos and be real this morning?

  132. Anybody arrived? I haven't. I know.

  133. It's my wife has a hard time hearing that statement.

  134. She has been so blessed to have me for twenty

  135. five years. She just can't believe I've not arrived yet.

  136. She's just making sure there's any lightning bolts. Number one,

  137. We've got a generation that is floundering and has more

  138. challenges than any generation before to live a pure, holy,

  139. righteous life, who's bombarded with more advertisement and more y'all,

  140. have you ever noticed, like you go into the store,

  141. home depot, lows, whatever, and then all of a sudden,

  142. these certain products magically appear in your Facebook news feed.

  143. That's called geotracking.

  144. Or you watch something and then all of a sudden

  145. there's a zillion of those.

  146. That's called AI. We're bombarded.

  147. I forgot the statistics on advertisement, and there's always this

  148. undertone of fleshly leaning.

  149. With so much advertisement.

  150. Ben Streebeck said when he was in Karris Bible College

  151. in Colorado, there was a conference and this conference speaker

  152. got up and said, did y'all know every year when

  153. this conference goes on, the porn rentals shoot through the roof?

  154. And he literally says this to a massive conference of

  155. leaders and lay people in the conference. The gen Z

  156. is open spiritually, but being open to spirituality doesn't necessarily

  157. lead you to truth. Seeing Joel too, it says he's

  158. pouring out a spirit on all flesh that means the

  159. lost and the found on all flesh. But many people

  160. are taking that spiritual hunger and they're going to dark

  161. spirituality because they don't have the light around them. And

  162. the average believer in the church never shares the gospel. Ever,

  163. how is it that we say we love Jesus, that

  164. we are so thankful for salvation, and yet statistics show

  165. that most of the church is never sharing the gospel

  166. outside of their gatherings one time and their life. Y'all,

  167. there are things that have to change this year. You

  168. don't have a right to remain wounded. You have a

  169. right to be healed. We don't have a right to

  170. remain in sin. We have a right to.

  171. The freedom of Jesus. We don't have a.

  172. Right to break friendship with each other when we don't agree,

  173. because you're gonna have to live with each other for

  174. all eternity. We don't have a right to create little

  175. holy huddles and call it spirituality. The last time I checked,

  176. the Kingdom of Heaven was huge. Did you know there's

  177. going to be millions upon millions of people all together

  178. living together. There's angels without number in heaven. I know

  179. that's hard on our unintroverted people, but we're going to

  180. have to get used to each other. And I think

  181. the Lord is challenging us to make the truth of

  182. the scripture reality, that which is the love for one another,

  183. that the world will see that and actually be drawn

  184. to the absolute insane perseverance and tolerance and honor that

  185. we have for each other.

  186. And they're not experiencing that. Y'all with me.

  187. See, upgrades always come with correction and adjustment before the upgrade.

  188. Y'all. If you're suffering, if you're battling, don't do it

  189. in private. Get with somebody you are loved. I can

  190. tell you this.

  191. You're never going to find a community that will rally

  192. around you more than this community.

  193. And I'm not saying that because I'm a leader.

  194. I've watched this community for eight years embrace the reality

  195. of a vision and a mission and a call to

  196. the lost and the hurting and seal hearts healed, to

  197. see people equipped and actually find out their creative purpose

  198. so they can actually step into their destiny. Next month

  199. will be the second anniversary to the Outpouring at Asbury.

  200. I said this first service. It was actually Asbury. I

  201. grabbed a hold of my oldest son's heart coal and

  202. he's like, Mom and Dad, I want to for spring break.

  203. I want to go to the outpouring.

  204. And we said, okay, but it's the outpouring is still

  205. going on. We'll go to the outpouring for spring break. Well,

  206. now Coal's going to get his bachelor's degree from Asbury

  207. in two more semesters. And next next Thursday he leaves,

  208. We take him to Austin Thursday because he flies out

  209. to study in Oxford.

  210. For the semester through Hasbury.

  211. And you know, I said this, the next generation having

  212. children that fear the Lord, that love the Lord, that

  213. walk with the Lord on their own, that they're cultivating

  214. their own intimacy with Jesus and their pastor's kids. On

  215. top of it, y'all, I'm the richest man on earth.

  216. And I don't mean just with money. I'm saying inheritance

  217. my children's children. Well, they don't have any children yet, right.

  218. Bad dad joke.

  219. Sorry you got you gotta love me anyways, I'm like,

  220. but the twenty two percent of the Generation ZEE attended

  221. church weekly in twenty twenty, only sixteen percent report attending weekly.

  222. Three years later, the number of Gen Z who never

  223. go to church grew from twenty eight percent to thirty

  224. seven percent in just three years. Will you hand me

  225. that I'm getting a little feedback, please, thank you. So

  226. you have a generation that has a hunger, but where

  227. are the people leading them in the right direction to

  228. properly fulfill that hunger.

  229. If the church isn't actually getting out.

  230. There and expanding the kingdom and preaching the eternal Gospel,

  231. where are they going to find it? Y'all, having a

  232. visitation or an encounter with the Lord is amazing, but

  233. that doesn't guarantee your success.

  234. Are you are your maturity in Christ?

  235. How many leaders are we watching right now literally bite

  236. the dust that have that have gone through moves of

  237. God seeing the most amazing things, and they're literally being

  238. exposed for horrible stuff. And what should our response be?

  239. We should be standing in the gap praying mercy over

  240. the leadership and the Body of Christ, not.

  241. Going get them.

  242. God kill them, good for you, because He desires mercy

  243. over judgment. Not in say hurry it up and restore

  244. them because we can't live without their gift and put

  245. them right back into the place so they can screw

  246. up again. No, I'm not saying that, but I'm saying

  247. that I've watched the response of people in the Body

  248. of Christ to these leaders falling, and it's not been

  249. a place of humility and life and saying, Lord, have

  250. mercy over them. Have mercy over their spouses, have mercy

  251. over their children. Think about the families and the extended families,

  252. what they're going through when you know their dad just

  253. got exposed for something. I mean, these are lives. And

  254. twenty fifteen, this was a survey done among leaders pastors.

  255. Fourteen percent of churches in the United States and twenty

  256. fifteen felt they were very effective with church outreach in discipleship,

  257. seventy three percent felt like they were somewhat effective, seventeen

  258. or twelve percent said they were not very effective, and

  259. one percent said they didn't know.

  260. By twenty twenty three, one percent.

  261. Said they were very effective with outreach discipleship in the

  262. United States and the church, forty four percent said they

  263. were somewhat effective, forty six percent said not very effective.

  264. So what does that mean? That means.

  265. Ninety nine percent of pastors say their church is not

  266. very effective at outreach.

  267. Isn't that scary?

  268. Only three to five percent of American churches are growing

  269. primarily through conversion growth. The remaining growth in churches is

  270. from transfers from other churches.

  271. You all know the Southern Baptist Right.

  272. I came out of an independent fundamental Baptist background, Forty

  273. three percent of the Southern Baptist churches experienced no converts

  274. or baptisms in a calendar year. In addition, thirty four

  275. percent baptized one to five people. In other words, seventy

  276. seven percent baptized zero to five people in an entire

  277. calendar year. This is what we're seeing now in American churches.

  278. So when we talk about.

  279. Revival, remember revivals for the church. The church needs revival.

  280. We are desperately in need of a real revival because

  281. that has to come before an awakening. The church has

  282. to wake up. We have a significant focus this year

  283. of just going deeper. Not that we haven't been trying

  284. to go deeper in the past, but we are going

  285. to be going deeper. There's going to be more and

  286. more corporate opportunities to come and pray together. I'm going

  287. to get back teaching again my courses this year, and

  288. we are going to have intercession and prayer and worship

  289. an intercession. And I'm reading a book right now that

  290. I would highly recommend everybody. I'm actually listening to it

  291. technically called Beholding, and it's all about beholding prayer. It's

  292. about getting in the presence of the Lord and beholding

  293. him and having true relationship with him. Not consumer spirituality

  294. because we live in a consumer economy. Consumption. Our whole

  295. model is based on consumption. And so many times when

  296. before you say, oh, I don't you know, I'm not

  297. a I don't have a consumer spirituality. When you go

  298. to choose a church, do you choose it based on

  299. how you can serve or how it can meet your needs?

  300. You with me?

  301. Because if we're servants, then when God is leading us,

  302. we should be going, Okay.

  303. Lord, how do I serve? That's popular? Okay?

  304. Number three, This is another area we need to be

  305. standing in the gap on. And you'll notice that some

  306. of these things aren't just in our community. Some of

  307. these things I'm painting a wide brushstroke because.

  308. There is one body.

  309. There's no denominations, there's not many jesus Is. There's one Jesus.

  310. There's one body, one Lord, one faith, one Father Ephesians

  311. four to four. And so if we're going to have

  312. the mind of Christ, then that means we have to

  313. think in kingdom. We have to process in the kingdom

  314. what he's c k has a speck of what he's

  315. doing in the Kingdom as a whole. We all are

  316. playing a part right now in the Kingdom of Heaven.

  317. Are you all with me? Okay? Number three church closures.

  318. Check this out.

  319. In the United States, approximately four to ten thousand churches

  320. close each year. It's hard to there's a wide variety

  321. or range there because it's hard to nail it down.

  322. To a specific amount of number.

  323. Meanwhile, only three thousand churches were being planted each year

  324. prior to COVID, So what does that mean. That means

  325. right now you have a three to one ratio church

  326. closures to church plants. Y'all do you understand why I

  327. said we may get a reprieve come January twentieth, But

  328. if the church doesn't wake up, it's going to.

  329. Be very short lived.

  330. And if you think you've seen darkness, you hadn't seen

  331. anything yet. It's high time that the church wakes up

  332. from slumber. It's high time that we recognize who we are,

  333. whose we are, and what we're called to do because

  334. we are in the last stage of the church age period.

  335. I don't know when he's coming, but all the signs

  336. are there and they're increasing it and it sure looks

  337. like he's coming.

  338. Sooner than later. And the last thing I want to do.

  339. Is find myself one day looking at people and seeing

  340. a line of people going to the judgment that I

  341. knew that I never said one word about Jesus to.

  342. We want to grow because of conversion. True health is

  343. going to grow because of conversion.

  344. Are you all with me?

  345. And again, when I say conversion, it's not about growing

  346. c K. It's about growing the kingdom. It's about preaching

  347. the eternal Gospel of the Kingdom. It's about plundering hell

  348. and literally seeing bloodline saved for Jesus right.

  349. People.

  350. So we need to release builders and church planners in

  351. the Kingdom now more than ever. Matthew eight or twenty eight,

  352. eighteen to twenty is not the great suggestion. It is

  353. the great commission. Jesus came to them and said to them,

  354. all authority in heaven on earth has been given to me.

  355. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them

  356. in the name of the Father, the Son, and the

  357. Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe some of the things

  358. that I said when it's convenient, no, teaching them to

  359. observe all that I've commanded you commanded you and behold,

  360. I'm with you always to the end of the age,

  361. one more point before I shift gears. The church leader

  362. mental health crisis is pointing to getting worse at this moment.

  363. Whether it's marketplace, businesses, nonprofits, churches, all cultures, starts from

  364. head down. If you have unhealthy leaders, you're gonna have

  365. an unhealthy body. Because guess what, when you're discipling people,

  366. you will disciple your weaknesses into them. You eat from

  367. the tree that you sit under. That's why you should

  368. choose who you listen to carefully, and you should be

  369. like the Bahreans and actually look at the word and

  370. see what's being told to you if it's actually accurate

  371. in there. Because we're in the days with doctrines of demons,

  372. seducing spirits, and tickling of the years. I hope that

  373. y'all get irritated with me sometimes when I'm teaching for real,

  374. because that actually means I'm doing my job.

  375. Because the sword.

  376. Cuts, but it cuts to heel, it doesn't cut to destroy.

  377. You're welcome. Eighteen percent of.

  378. Pastors have thought about suicide or self harm. The number

  379. of pastors who have given real serious consideration to quitting

  380. full time ministry in the last year dropped from forty

  381. two percent twenty twenty two to thirty three percent in

  382. twenty twenty three, So there was a decline there. While

  383. it's encouraging, it still means that a third of pastors

  384. in America are contemplating packing it in. This doesn't help,

  385. y'all when we're literally looking at a three to one ratio.

  386. I don't know about y'all, but I think the United

  387. States needs the church.

  388. Now more than ever. While twenty.

  389. Of pastors over the age of forty five say they're

  390. flourishing and they're well being, only seven percent of church

  391. leaders under the age of forty five say they're flourishing.

  392. So we see a brushstroke of what's going on in

  393. the body of Christ right now. And I can promise

  394. you the things that I just talked about, they're happening

  395. to a.

  396. Degree on the local level too. We're going to have

  397. to become dread warriors in this season.

  398. Who's wondering what the heck is a dread warrior. It's

  399. actually in the Bible. You want to know where it's at.

  400. Read it Jeremiah twenty, verse eleven. But the Lord is

  401. with me as a dread warrior. Therefore my persecutors will stumble.

  402. They will not overcome me. They will be greatly shamed,

  403. for they will not succeed their eternal dishonor will not

  404. be forgotten. Did y'all think that we would just step

  405. in with a new administration.

  406. I gotta be careful.

  407. We're streaming that wants to fix a whole lot of

  408. things that could get me flagged right now if I

  409. talk too much, Like our food, clean our food up.

  410. There's all sorts of amazing things.

  411. Do you think the enemy is gonna be like, Oh,

  412. it's fine, just let them have it all. No, y'all,

  413. it's this spiritual warfare that we're in, this eternal battle

  414. for the souls.

  415. Of men over.

  416. It's crescendoing, and you have been put at this time

  417. in history, one of the most amazing times to ever

  418. be alive. When I was a kid, I remember going

  419. to the phone on the wall with a cord, and

  420. we even my grandparents raised me so I.

  421. And ten minutes later the phone call went through.

  422. I remember when you actually had to stand up and

  423. go to the television and turn the channel, and then

  424. sometimes you had a wackless nod of that thing to

  425. get the tube to come back in y'all technology, it's crazy,

  426. but it's also dangerous. How many people come on, let's

  427. be honest. You're in church, don't lie. You can lie

  428. out there, don't lie in here. Now how much time

  429. has been lost from scrolling in your life?

  430. Do you think that was done on purpose? By design?

  431. So maybe dumb down our attention level to distract us.

  432. Maybe it's modern day Roman Colosseum in your hands.

  433. I know this.

  434. The enemy always wants us looking over here when he's

  435. doing this. One of the most powerful prayers I do

  436. is Lord, show them what the enemy doesn't want them

  437. to see. For Samuel twenty two to two, and everyone

  438. who was in distress, and everyone who was in debt,

  439. and everyone who was bitter and soul gathered to him

  440. King David. I can only imagine what David was thinking

  441. of that moment. Four hundred ragamuffins. They don't have two

  442. pennies to rub together. They couldn't make copper pennies aren't

  443. copper anymore of your wondering? And I think it costs

  444. seven pennies to make a penny. Now, if I'm not mistaken,

  445. Sean's looking at me. Okay, I gotta behave.

  446. The elders in the front row.

  447. First, Samuel twenty two to two, and he became commander

  448. over them, and they were with him about four hundred men.

  449. Have you read the exploits of those.

  450. Men later on.

  451. What David's mighty men did. They didn't start out mighty.

  452. They started out like a church that would be very

  453. difficult to shepherd, distress, debt, bitterness of soul.

  454. And they all gathered to him, blessed David's heart.

  455. But something happened to them. They got around a giant

  456. killer and they became giant killers. I think it's actually

  457. Bill Johnson said, you want to kill giants, get around

  458. giant killers.

  459. That's exactly what those four hundred men did. And guess

  460. what fast forward a few.

  461. Years after being around King David, being around the anointing

  462. dripping off of him, around the king that would lay

  463. down in the sanctuary.

  464. And look at the cherubim.

  465. And the shadow of his wings, the one who made

  466. thousands of instruments and literally pulled a beautiful prophetic picture

  467. of a new covenant life into the old. When we

  468. talk about the Tabernacle of David, and something happened to

  469. these men. Something happened to Peter, who denied Jesus three times,

  470. But when he got the baptism of the Holy Spirit,

  471. something transformed in him. He was no longer bound by fear.

  472. He was no longer bound by denying Jesus. He got

  473. into a place in his life that when he was crucified,

  474. he said, no, I'm going upside down.

  475. I'm not worthy to be crucified. The way Jesus was.

  476. Something massively transformed in them. They became new creations that

  477. the earth has never seen before. You are new creations

  478. acting as mere men and women, not understanding that one

  479. day you will judge angels. And that's exactly what Paul said.

  480. It is time to raise the bar of righteousness and

  481. holiness because we are brand new creations in Christ, with

  482. the eternal living Godhead in sight of us, and it's

  483. time that we surrender our lives to them, and understand

  484. that every aspect of our life, every moment of our life,

  485. that we refuse to yield to the King of Glory,

  486. then we lose it. And that principle will never be violated.

  487. So to the degree we're willing to lose our life.

  488. We find it.

  489. When we posture ourselves and we say I will remain

  490. in the dark night of the spirit, because I know

  491. that nothing of eternal significance can happen apart from you,

  492. and either you show up or nothing happens. And I

  493. don't want to put my hand to this assignment or

  494. this plow if you're not in it, because I want

  495. it to be eternal, not earthly. I don't want to

  496. be like King Hezekiah, who threw away the next generation

  497. because at least in my day they'll be peace and

  498. had no vision for legacy. What we're building right now

  499. in the for the Kingdom of Heaven in this region

  500. should last and echo for decades. But you got to

  501. start looking in the mirror every morning and realize who

  502. you are, and realize that the enemy is way more

  503. afraid of you recognizing who you are.

  504. And that's why he's hitting you so hard right now.

  505. Because the moment you wake up to the reality that

  506. you're a new creation, that you are a spiritual being

  507. temporarily living in a physical body, you're going to actually

  508. start acting like a son of God, a daughter of God,

  509. and you're going to stop looking at all these natural

  510. circumstances and allow unbelief to scream in your ear and

  511. say you can't do anything about it. You all of

  512. a sudden rise up and say nonsense. This will bow

  513. to the name of Jesus. I don't care what this is,

  514. it will bow. This is a warrior heart that we've

  515. got to get inside of us, and not just for

  516. twenty twenty five, not just a good word for twenty five.

  517. It's an eternal word because we're advancing a kingdom that

  518. we're on the front lines of and it has eternal consequences.

  519. Not just earthly.

  520. I read Paul, and I read everything he went through,

  521. and he's on the shores and he says, I'll never

  522. see you again, and they're weeping and crying over him.

  523. They go, stop it.

  524. I'm willing to lose it all for him right now.

  525. That is the warrior's heart for Jesus. It's the fifteen

  526. year old with a sling and five stones, because he's

  527. gonna smoke Goliath and his four brothers.

  528. Have they come perse Chronicles twelve eight. Man, I'm getting

  529. wound up.

  530. Some gadies joined David at the stronghold in the wilderness.

  531. Mighty men of Valor men trained for battle, who could

  532. handle shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces

  533. of lions, and were as swift as gazelle.

  534. On the mountains.

  535. I'd pee my pants if they were coming after me

  536. like that. But that's how, But.

  537. That's how we're supposed to be to the enemy and

  538. the spirit.

  539. When we're going we get a phone call and somebody

  540. needs help, would you come pray? The enemy ought to

  541. be shaking in his boots. Oh crap, here comes so

  542. and so not like, ohh, I've got lots in common

  543. with him. I'm not worried about him. Because you'll never

  544. see anything removed that has a hold of you. You'll

  545. never see it removed in somebody else. You forfeited your

  546. authority to that sin. Righteousness, the breastplate of righteousness is

  547. what puts you on that battlefield, on that front line

  548. with protection. And it's faith and love that fortifies that breastplate.

  549. It's the armor of light. According to Romans, for Samuel

  550. fourteen six to fifteen, his hands down the worst battle

  551. plan in the history of mankind. Jonathan says to the

  552. young man who carried his armor, come let us go

  553. over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. It may be

  554. that the Lord will work for us, for nothing can

  555. hinder the Lord from saving by many.

  556. Or by few.

  557. And as armor bearer said to him, do all that's

  558. in your heart, do as you wish. Behold, I'm with

  559. you or with you, I am with your heart and soul.

  560. Then Jonathan said, behold.

  561. I will cross over to the men, and we will

  562. show ourselves to them. If they say to us, wait

  563. until we come to you, then we will stand here

  564. in our place and we will not go up to them.

  565. But if they say, come up to us, then we

  566. will go up. For the Lord's given them into our hand.

  567. Say what horrible plan? And this shall be the sign

  568. to us.

  569. So both of them showed themselves to the garrison of

  570. the Philistines, and the Philistines said, look, Hebrews are coming

  571. up out of the holes where they've hidden themselves. And

  572. the men of the garrison hailed Jonathan and his armor

  573. bearer and said, come up to us, and we'll show

  574. you a thing. And Jonathan said to his armor bearer,

  575. come up after me, for the Lord's given them into

  576. the hand of Israel.

  577. Huh. Then Jonathan climbed up on his.

  578. Hands and feet and his armor bearer after him, and

  579. they fell before Jonathan and his armor bearer killed them

  580. after him. And that first strike which Jonathan and his

  581. armor bearer made killed about twenty men within as it

  582. were half a furlough's length and an acre of land.

  583. And there was a panic in the camp, in the

  584. field and among all the people. The garrison and even

  585. the raiders trembled the earthquake that became a very great panic.

  586. Do you understand God's battle plan for your for your life?

  587. Many times looks that ridiculous. And that's exactly why some

  588. of you didn't do what you were supposed to do,

  589. because you.

  590. Were smarter than him.

  591. You put pen to paper and it didn't make sense.

  592. Why would I climb a cliff and be like, surely

  593. the Lord's given you to me, I'll climb this cliff.

  594. Think about the thoughts running through their head. What are

  595. those twenty Philistines just took rocks and started throwing rocks

  596. at their head while they're trying to climb up, and

  597. they're climbing twenty twenty five feet in the air, and

  598. they get head in the head with a rock and

  599. plummet to their death.

  600. Come on. This is real life, y'all.

  601. This is these are thoughts that we would be having

  602. with that battle plan. Or how about the disciples when

  603. they're fishing all night? He goes, hey, cast over there, Lord,

  604. we've been fishing all night. There's nothing there. Go there,

  605. Go deeper. Some of you are going to have to

  606. go do what you did before with no fruit. Go

  607. deeper and give up your right to know why. And

  608. if you will, then you'll actually see a massive produce

  609. or increase of what he's called you to. You understand,

  610. he's not impressed with your personal intelligence. He made you.

  611. He made your brain. My son's in the MENSA program.

  612. It's like the top two percent smartest people on earth.

  613. I tell him all the time, you ain't gonna intellectually

  614. argue yourself out of getting in trouble.

  615. Boy.

  616. One more, These are the names of the men whom

  617. Moses sent to spy out the land.

  618. Do you understand? For forty days and forty knights.

  619. They spied out the land. And it says at the

  620. end of forty days they returned from spying out the land,

  621. and they came to Moses and Aaron and to all

  622. the congregation of the people of Israel in the wilderness

  623. of Puran at Kadish. They brought back words to them

  624. to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of

  625. the land. And they told them, we came to the

  626. land to which you sent us. It flows with milk

  627. and honey, and this is its fruit. However, the people

  628. who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities

  629. are fortified and very large. And besides, we saw the

  630. descendants of a knock there Nephalum. The Amalekites dwell on

  631. the land of Negeb, the Hittites, the Jebusites, the Amorites

  632. dwell in the hill country, and the Canaanites dwell by

  633. the sea and along the Jordan. Caleb quieted the people

  634. before Moses and said, let us go up at once

  635. and occupy it. See, Caleb was of a different spirit.

  636. He's like Jonathan, Hey, if it looks ridiculous, that's God's plan.

  637. The other safe plan is us, because the safe plan

  638. is us preserving our life. And we know the spiritual

  639. principle that if you seek to save your life, you'll

  640. lose it. But if you lose your life for me,

  641. then you'll actually find it. Oh wow, that's even in

  642. the Old Covenant.

  643. There.

  644. Then the men who had gone up with him said,

  645. we're not able to go up against the people, for

  646. they're stronger than we are. So they brought to the

  647. people of Israel a bad report. Listen, if you all

  648. want to break cycles in your life, get away from

  649. all the negative people. Negativity spreads like cancer. Get away

  650. from it. If you want to walk, if you want

  651. to be wise, you have to walk with the wise.

  652. Proverb said, some of you all need to change your friends.

  653. I'm not saying don't love them, but I'm saying the access,

  654. the rings of intimacy connection that they have. You're trying

  655. to change your life, and they're under the stupid act.

  656. You're gonna need to bump them out a couple of rings.

  657. Y'all with me, and don't go back to the same

  658. stuff that puts you in this place in the first place. Hey,

  659. oh e they all right, I'm finishing. So they brought

  660. the people of Israel a bad report of the land

  661. that they had spied out, saying, the land through which

  662. we've gone to spy it out is the land that

  663. devours its inhabitants, and all the people we saw in

  664. it are of great height, and there we saw the Nephelum,

  665. the sons of a Knok who come from the Nephilum,

  666. And we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we

  667. seemed to them. If you have grasshopper thinking, you will

  668. have grasshopper result. Every day for which they spied out

  669. the promised land, their inheritance, the consequences of their disobedience

  670. to believe in God and believing that the impossible is

  671. possible with him, was twelve months per day, and for

  672. forty years of consequences. He was trying to root out

  673. the spirit of Egypt in the unbelief out of them. Y'all,

  674. we've been given promises, We've been given a promised land,

  675. not just in the natural. And I ain't going around

  676. the mountain for forty years, so you can come with me.

  677. I can carry maybe one or two of you. I'm

  678. a back if I need to, probably not more than that.

  679. But it's time.

  680. It's time that we become the warriors of the King

  681. and take the inheritance that He's promised us, for our families,

  682. for our individual lives, for this region. Man, there's so

  683. many things I want to see pulled down in this region.

  684. And it happens when corporately the land begins to choose righteousness,

  685. then God has justified to remove principalities and powers and rulers,

  686. fallen ones out of there, and put righteous council members in.

  687. And that's part of the healing of the land. If

  688. my people, who are called by my name, don't be

  689. afraid of the responsibility He's given you on this earth.

  690. The heavens, even the heavens, are the Lord. But he's

  691. given the earth to the sons of men. All right,

  692. let's stand.

  693. Thank you to the part. Thank you for listening.
