Standing In The Gap (Fighting For The Next Generation)

You're listening to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the week.

Who was not here last week?

You' all are getting really good at do you feel

like you're getting exercise yet worship aerobics?

Well, it's good to be back, I actually, believe.

It or not. I love teaching and I was not

teaching for about a month, so I was chomping at

the bit to teach again.

If you recall last week I talked about.

The theme of this year and some of the some

things that we can expect to see. I think standing

in the Gap was Jehovah sneaky for we still are

going to do hard things and it's an interesting start

of the year.

Who uh, who is just riding the lazy river this

year so far?

Anybody anybody just feel like you're just sipping out of

coconuts or what?

Who?

Who feels like twenty twenty five smacked you in the

face when you woke up January first? How many people

don't know where they're at right now? There was more

hands that's encouraging, very encouraging.

Okay, so quick recap.

Last week we talked about a sign of being out

of alignments, what that looks like Deuteronomy twenty eight. We

talked about times and seasons and realigning with the Lord

and what he wants to.

Do in the season.

We talked about the transition the body of Christ as

in the exposure that's happening. Jony Lamb just resigned from

day Star, Right, Well, that's what I saw last night,

and if it's online, it's got to be true.

People.

I'm being a little facetious there, but from what we

can tell, it looks like that's happened, and there's just

exposures and pruning and correcting. And I literally, since, honestly,

probably for close to ten years, I've been telling people

to get their house in order that what they were

doing in private, if they did not repent of it,

was about to become public. And some words always feel

right now because you're getting it outside of time, and

you know it says judgment or correction starts first with

the House of God, and that right, Becky, are you

paying attention?

You with me?

Becky's been with me for twelve years. We've seen a

thing or two. Right, Actually is it more than twelve years?

Thirteen years number of rebellion, but we're not claiming that, Okay.

So we talked about fifty seven eighty five in the

in the year to possess your promises, and I really

do believe we're going to see a lot of promises fulfilled.

This year may not be easy, but we're going to.

See lots of promises fulfilled. I actually think you're going

to see things that.

You forgot.

God promised you, and you, honestly, you probably just shelfed

it because it was taking so long. Hope deferred makes

the heart sick, right, and you got tired of waiting

on the promise. And I think there's some promises that

are going to be dusted and.

Pulled off the shelf. It's the open window, that's the

divine breath of God. We also talked about prophets.

Being watchmen, and even sometimes prophets going to their enemy

and not wanting to Like Jonah.

Jonah was not a happy camper going to Nineveh.

So he got a first class ticket in the mouth

of a whale, in a big seat for three days

and three nights.

I don't think I want that way of travel personally.

And then you've got Moses, who it's Moses stood before Israel, and.

Picture this.

Moses is with the Lord and he says, go down,

for your people, from whom you brought up out of

the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves. This is where

Aaron says, bring me your gold, and he gets all

the golden. He throws all the gold in the fire,

and to his amazement, out.

Pops this golden calf. That's what he told Moses.

He goes, I don't know, Moses, we just threw all

this gold in here and boom, this golden calf popped out.

Keep in mind Aaron was a prophet and he was

literally hammering idols.

Think about that.

He was a legitimate prophet of God, called a prophet,

and here he was molding and fashioning an idol. We

don't have any idols, do we? Moving on, and he

goes towards the end in Exodus thirty two thirty to

thirty three, and he said, as so, Moses returned to

the Lord and said, alas, this people is sin, to

great sin.

They've made for themselves gods of gold.

But now if you will forgive their sin, But if not,

please block me out of your book that you've written.

Would you be willing to pray and.

Stand in the gap for your rebellious people around you

to that degree, Lord forgive them. But if you don't

blot me out of your book of life and actually

mean it, well, I can hear some of your thoughts

right now, some of the prayers that you would want

to give. Lord, kill them, kill them good. A dirty,

rotten scoundrel doesn't deserve to be alive. And if you

think I'm being too far fetched, if I were to

mention some politicians or corporate names right now, number one

probably lose our live stream. But number two, you may

not have the most fond emotions stir up in the moment,

would you?

Y'all? The love that He's called us.

Too is impossible without him. We hear a whole lot

about the love of God, but we don't see a

whole lot of the love of God displayed. We see

a whole lot of our conditional love. If you meet

my expectations, I will lower the drawbridge of connection and

bless you with my presence. But if you don't, the

wrath of Me is coming. And if you get too

too out of control and you become too much. I'm

going to get a new call of God, and I'm

leaving so i can spiritualize my rebellion.

I'm talking to them over there.

I want to in this second part paint a clearer

picture of what we're standing in the gap, for why

we're standing in the gap, and what you need to

allow the Lord to fortify inside of you, how you

need to be transformed, because I'm telling you the grace

to remain in sin has lifted, and I only want

to say grace, mercy. In his mercy, he is pushing

our junk into the light that we've tried to hide

from him. Are we going to take off our super

spiritual halos and be real this morning?

Anybody arrived? I haven't. I know.

It's my wife has a hard time hearing that statement.

She has been so blessed to have me for twenty

five years. She just can't believe I've not arrived yet.

She's just making sure there's any lightning bolts. Number one,

We've got a generation that is floundering and has more

challenges than any generation before to live a pure, holy,

righteous life, who's bombarded with more advertisement and more y'all,

have you ever noticed, like you go into the store,

home depot, lows, whatever, and then all of a sudden,

these certain products magically appear in your Facebook news feed.

That's called geotracking.

Or you watch something and then all of a sudden

there's a zillion of those.

That's called AI. We're bombarded.

I forgot the statistics on advertisement, and there's always this

undertone of fleshly leaning.

With so much advertisement.

Ben Streebeck said when he was in Karris Bible College

in Colorado, there was a conference and this conference speaker

got up and said, did y'all know every year when

this conference goes on, the porn rentals shoot through the roof?

And he literally says this to a massive conference of

leaders and lay people in the conference. The gen Z

is open spiritually, but being open to spirituality doesn't necessarily

lead you to truth. Seeing Joel too, it says he's

pouring out a spirit on all flesh that means the

lost and the found on all flesh. But many people

are taking that spiritual hunger and they're going to dark

spirituality because they don't have the light around them. And

the average believer in the church never shares the gospel. Ever,

how is it that we say we love Jesus, that

we are so thankful for salvation, and yet statistics show

that most of the church is never sharing the gospel

outside of their gatherings one time and their life. Y'all,

there are things that have to change this year. You

don't have a right to remain wounded. You have a

right to be healed. We don't have a right to

remain in sin. We have a right to.

The freedom of Jesus. We don't have a.

Right to break friendship with each other when we don't agree,

because you're gonna have to live with each other for

all eternity. We don't have a right to create little

holy huddles and call it spirituality. The last time I checked,

the Kingdom of Heaven was huge. Did you know there's

going to be millions upon millions of people all together

living together. There's angels without number in heaven. I know

that's hard on our unintroverted people, but we're going to

have to get used to each other. And I think

the Lord is challenging us to make the truth of

the scripture reality, that which is the love for one another,

that the world will see that and actually be drawn

to the absolute insane perseverance and tolerance and honor that

we have for each other.

And they're not experiencing that. Y'all with me.

See, upgrades always come with correction and adjustment before the upgrade.

Y'all. If you're suffering, if you're battling, don't do it

in private. Get with somebody you are loved. I can

tell you this.

You're never going to find a community that will rally

around you more than this community.

And I'm not saying that because I'm a leader.

I've watched this community for eight years embrace the reality

of a vision and a mission and a call to

the lost and the hurting and seal hearts healed, to

see people equipped and actually find out their creative purpose

so they can actually step into their destiny. Next month

will be the second anniversary to the Outpouring at Asbury.

I said this first service. It was actually Asbury. I

grabbed a hold of my oldest son's heart coal and

he's like, Mom and Dad, I want to for spring break.

I want to go to the outpouring.

And we said, okay, but it's the outpouring is still

going on. We'll go to the outpouring for spring break. Well,

now Coal's going to get his bachelor's degree from Asbury

in two more semesters. And next next Thursday he leaves,

We take him to Austin Thursday because he flies out

to study in Oxford.

For the semester through Hasbury.

And you know, I said this, the next generation having

children that fear the Lord, that love the Lord, that

walk with the Lord on their own, that they're cultivating

their own intimacy with Jesus and their pastor's kids. On

top of it, y'all, I'm the richest man on earth.

And I don't mean just with money. I'm saying inheritance

my children's children. Well, they don't have any children yet, right.

Bad dad joke.

Sorry you got you gotta love me anyways, I'm like,

but the twenty two percent of the Generation ZEE attended

church weekly in twenty twenty, only sixteen percent report attending weekly.

Three years later, the number of Gen Z who never

go to church grew from twenty eight percent to thirty

seven percent in just three years. Will you hand me

that I'm getting a little feedback, please, thank you. So

you have a generation that has a hunger, but where

are the people leading them in the right direction to

properly fulfill that hunger.

If the church isn't actually getting out.

There and expanding the kingdom and preaching the eternal Gospel,

where are they going to find it? Y'all, having a

visitation or an encounter with the Lord is amazing, but

that doesn't guarantee your success.

Are you are your maturity in Christ?

How many leaders are we watching right now literally bite

the dust that have that have gone through moves of

God seeing the most amazing things, and they're literally being

exposed for horrible stuff. And what should our response be?

We should be standing in the gap praying mercy over

the leadership and the Body of Christ, not.

Going get them.

God kill them, good for you, because He desires mercy

over judgment. Not in say hurry it up and restore

them because we can't live without their gift and put

them right back into the place so they can screw

up again. No, I'm not saying that, but I'm saying

that I've watched the response of people in the Body

of Christ to these leaders falling, and it's not been

a place of humility and life and saying, Lord, have

mercy over them. Have mercy over their spouses, have mercy

over their children. Think about the families and the extended families,

what they're going through when you know their dad just

got exposed for something. I mean, these are lives. And

twenty fifteen, this was a survey done among leaders pastors.

Fourteen percent of churches in the United States and twenty

fifteen felt they were very effective with church outreach in discipleship,

seventy three percent felt like they were somewhat effective, seventeen

or twelve percent said they were not very effective, and

one percent said they didn't know.

By twenty twenty three, one percent.

Said they were very effective with outreach discipleship in the

United States and the church, forty four percent said they

were somewhat effective, forty six percent said not very effective.

So what does that mean? That means.

Ninety nine percent of pastors say their church is not

very effective at outreach.

Isn't that scary?

Only three to five percent of American churches are growing

primarily through conversion growth. The remaining growth in churches is

from transfers from other churches.

You all know the Southern Baptist Right.

I came out of an independent fundamental Baptist background, Forty

three percent of the Southern Baptist churches experienced no converts

or baptisms in a calendar year. In addition, thirty four

percent baptized one to five people. In other words, seventy

seven percent baptized zero to five people in an entire

calendar year. This is what we're seeing now in American churches.

So when we talk about.

Revival, remember revivals for the church. The church needs revival.

We are desperately in need of a real revival because

that has to come before an awakening. The church has

to wake up. We have a significant focus this year

of just going deeper. Not that we haven't been trying

to go deeper in the past, but we are going

to be going deeper. There's going to be more and

more corporate opportunities to come and pray together. I'm going

to get back teaching again my courses this year, and

we are going to have intercession and prayer and worship

an intercession. And I'm reading a book right now that

I would highly recommend everybody. I'm actually listening to it

technically called Beholding, and it's all about beholding prayer. It's

about getting in the presence of the Lord and beholding

him and having true relationship with him. Not consumer spirituality

because we live in a consumer economy. Consumption. Our whole

model is based on consumption. And so many times when

before you say, oh, I don't you know, I'm not

a I don't have a consumer spirituality. When you go

to choose a church, do you choose it based on

how you can serve or how it can meet your needs?

You with me?

Because if we're servants, then when God is leading us,

we should be going, Okay.

Lord, how do I serve? That's popular? Okay?

Number three, This is another area we need to be

standing in the gap on. And you'll notice that some

of these things aren't just in our community. Some of

these things I'm painting a wide brushstroke because.

There is one body.

There's no denominations, there's not many jesus Is. There's one Jesus.

There's one body, one Lord, one faith, one Father Ephesians

four to four. And so if we're going to have

the mind of Christ, then that means we have to

think in kingdom. We have to process in the kingdom

what he's c k has a speck of what he's

doing in the Kingdom as a whole. We all are

playing a part right now in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Are you all with me? Okay? Number three church closures.

Check this out.

In the United States, approximately four to ten thousand churches

close each year. It's hard to there's a wide variety

or range there because it's hard to nail it down.

To a specific amount of number.

Meanwhile, only three thousand churches were being planted each year

prior to COVID, So what does that mean. That means

right now you have a three to one ratio church

closures to church plants. Y'all do you understand why I

said we may get a reprieve come January twentieth, But

if the church doesn't wake up, it's going to.

Be very short lived.

And if you think you've seen darkness, you hadn't seen

anything yet. It's high time that the church wakes up

from slumber. It's high time that we recognize who we are,

whose we are, and what we're called to do because

we are in the last stage of the church age period.

I don't know when he's coming, but all the signs

are there and they're increasing it and it sure looks

like he's coming.

Sooner than later. And the last thing I want to do.

Is find myself one day looking at people and seeing

a line of people going to the judgment that I

knew that I never said one word about Jesus to.

We want to grow because of conversion. True health is

going to grow because of conversion.

Are you all with me?

And again, when I say conversion, it's not about growing

c K. It's about growing the kingdom. It's about preaching

the eternal Gospel of the Kingdom. It's about plundering hell

and literally seeing bloodline saved for Jesus right.

People.

So we need to release builders and church planners in

the Kingdom now more than ever. Matthew eight or twenty eight,

eighteen to twenty is not the great suggestion. It is

the great commission. Jesus came to them and said to them,

all authority in heaven on earth has been given to me.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them

in the name of the Father, the Son, and the

Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe some of the things

that I said when it's convenient, no, teaching them to

observe all that I've commanded you commanded you and behold,

I'm with you always to the end of the age,

one more point before I shift gears. The church leader

mental health crisis is pointing to getting worse at this moment.

Whether it's marketplace, businesses, nonprofits, churches, all cultures, starts from

head down. If you have unhealthy leaders, you're gonna have

an unhealthy body. Because guess what, when you're discipling people,

you will disciple your weaknesses into them. You eat from

the tree that you sit under. That's why you should

choose who you listen to carefully, and you should be

like the Bahreans and actually look at the word and

see what's being told to you if it's actually accurate

in there. Because we're in the days with doctrines of demons,

seducing spirits, and tickling of the years. I hope that

y'all get irritated with me sometimes when I'm teaching for real,

because that actually means I'm doing my job.

Because the sword.

Cuts, but it cuts to heel, it doesn't cut to destroy.

You're welcome. Eighteen percent of.

Pastors have thought about suicide or self harm. The number

of pastors who have given real serious consideration to quitting

full time ministry in the last year dropped from forty

two percent twenty twenty two to thirty three percent in

twenty twenty three, So there was a decline there. While

it's encouraging, it still means that a third of pastors

in America are contemplating packing it in. This doesn't help,

y'all when we're literally looking at a three to one ratio.

I don't know about y'all, but I think the United

States needs the church.

Now more than ever. While twenty.

Of pastors over the age of forty five say they're

flourishing and they're well being, only seven percent of church

leaders under the age of forty five say they're flourishing.

So we see a brushstroke of what's going on in

the body of Christ right now. And I can promise

you the things that I just talked about, they're happening

to a.

Degree on the local level too. We're going to have

to become dread warriors in this season.

Who's wondering what the heck is a dread warrior. It's

actually in the Bible. You want to know where it's at.

Read it Jeremiah twenty, verse eleven. But the Lord is

with me as a dread warrior. Therefore my persecutors will stumble.

They will not overcome me. They will be greatly shamed,

for they will not succeed their eternal dishonor will not

be forgotten. Did y'all think that we would just step

in with a new administration.

I gotta be careful.

We're streaming that wants to fix a whole lot of

things that could get me flagged right now if I

talk too much, Like our food, clean our food up.

There's all sorts of amazing things.

Do you think the enemy is gonna be like, Oh,

it's fine, just let them have it all. No, y'all,

it's this spiritual warfare that we're in, this eternal battle

for the souls.

Of men over.

It's crescendoing, and you have been put at this time

in history, one of the most amazing times to ever

be alive. When I was a kid, I remember going

to the phone on the wall with a cord, and

we even my grandparents raised me so I.

And ten minutes later the phone call went through.

I remember when you actually had to stand up and

go to the television and turn the channel, and then

sometimes you had a wackless nod of that thing to

get the tube to come back in y'all technology, it's crazy,

but it's also dangerous. How many people come on, let's

be honest. You're in church, don't lie. You can lie

out there, don't lie in here. Now how much time

has been lost from scrolling in your life?

Do you think that was done on purpose? By design?

So maybe dumb down our attention level to distract us.

Maybe it's modern day Roman Colosseum in your hands.

I know this.

The enemy always wants us looking over here when he's

doing this. One of the most powerful prayers I do

is Lord, show them what the enemy doesn't want them

to see. For Samuel twenty two to two, and everyone

who was in distress, and everyone who was in debt,

and everyone who was bitter and soul gathered to him

King David. I can only imagine what David was thinking

of that moment. Four hundred ragamuffins. They don't have two

pennies to rub together. They couldn't make copper pennies aren't

copper anymore of your wondering? And I think it costs

seven pennies to make a penny. Now, if I'm not mistaken,

Sean's looking at me. Okay, I gotta behave.

The elders in the front row.

First, Samuel twenty two to two, and he became commander

over them, and they were with him about four hundred men.

Have you read the exploits of those.

Men later on.

What David's mighty men did. They didn't start out mighty.

They started out like a church that would be very

difficult to shepherd, distress, debt, bitterness of soul.

And they all gathered to him, blessed David's heart.

But something happened to them. They got around a giant

killer and they became giant killers. I think it's actually

Bill Johnson said, you want to kill giants, get around

giant killers.

That's exactly what those four hundred men did. And guess

what fast forward a few.

Years after being around King David, being around the anointing

dripping off of him, around the king that would lay

down in the sanctuary.

And look at the cherubim.

And the shadow of his wings, the one who made

thousands of instruments and literally pulled a beautiful prophetic picture

of a new covenant life into the old. When we

talk about the Tabernacle of David, and something happened to

these men. Something happened to Peter, who denied Jesus three times,

But when he got the baptism of the Holy Spirit,

something transformed in him. He was no longer bound by fear.

He was no longer bound by denying Jesus. He got

into a place in his life that when he was crucified,

he said, no, I'm going upside down.

I'm not worthy to be crucified. The way Jesus was.

Something massively transformed in them. They became new creations that

the earth has never seen before. You are new creations

acting as mere men and women, not understanding that one

day you will judge angels. And that's exactly what Paul said.

It is time to raise the bar of righteousness and

holiness because we are brand new creations in Christ, with

the eternal living Godhead in sight of us, and it's

time that we surrender our lives to them, and understand

that every aspect of our life, every moment of our life,

that we refuse to yield to the King of Glory,

then we lose it. And that principle will never be violated.

So to the degree we're willing to lose our life.

We find it.

When we posture ourselves and we say I will remain

in the dark night of the spirit, because I know

that nothing of eternal significance can happen apart from you,

and either you show up or nothing happens. And I

don't want to put my hand to this assignment or

this plow if you're not in it, because I want

it to be eternal, not earthly. I don't want to

be like King Hezekiah, who threw away the next generation

because at least in my day they'll be peace and

had no vision for legacy. What we're building right now

in the for the Kingdom of Heaven in this region

should last and echo for decades. But you got to

start looking in the mirror every morning and realize who

you are, and realize that the enemy is way more

afraid of you recognizing who you are.

And that's why he's hitting you so hard right now.

Because the moment you wake up to the reality that

you're a new creation, that you are a spiritual being

temporarily living in a physical body, you're going to actually

start acting like a son of God, a daughter of God,

and you're going to stop looking at all these natural

circumstances and allow unbelief to scream in your ear and

say you can't do anything about it. You all of

a sudden rise up and say nonsense. This will bow

to the name of Jesus. I don't care what this is,

it will bow. This is a warrior heart that we've

got to get inside of us, and not just for

twenty twenty five, not just a good word for twenty five.

It's an eternal word because we're advancing a kingdom that

we're on the front lines of and it has eternal consequences.

Not just earthly.

I read Paul, and I read everything he went through,

and he's on the shores and he says, I'll never

see you again, and they're weeping and crying over him.

They go, stop it.

I'm willing to lose it all for him right now.

That is the warrior's heart for Jesus. It's the fifteen

year old with a sling and five stones, because he's

gonna smoke Goliath and his four brothers.

Have they come perse Chronicles twelve eight. Man, I'm getting

wound up.

Some gadies joined David at the stronghold in the wilderness.

Mighty men of Valor men trained for battle, who could

handle shield and spear, whose faces were like the faces

of lions, and were as swift as gazelle.

On the mountains.

I'd pee my pants if they were coming after me

like that. But that's how, But.

That's how we're supposed to be to the enemy and

the spirit.

When we're going we get a phone call and somebody

needs help, would you come pray? The enemy ought to

be shaking in his boots. Oh crap, here comes so

and so not like, ohh, I've got lots in common

with him. I'm not worried about him. Because you'll never

see anything removed that has a hold of you. You'll

never see it removed in somebody else. You forfeited your

authority to that sin. Righteousness, the breastplate of righteousness is

what puts you on that battlefield, on that front line

with protection. And it's faith and love that fortifies that breastplate.

It's the armor of light. According to Romans, for Samuel

fourteen six to fifteen, his hands down the worst battle

plan in the history of mankind. Jonathan says to the

young man who carried his armor, come let us go

over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. It may be

that the Lord will work for us, for nothing can

hinder the Lord from saving by many.

Or by few.

And as armor bearer said to him, do all that's

in your heart, do as you wish. Behold, I'm with

you or with you, I am with your heart and soul.

Then Jonathan said, behold.

I will cross over to the men, and we will

show ourselves to them. If they say to us, wait

until we come to you, then we will stand here

in our place and we will not go up to them.

But if they say, come up to us, then we

will go up. For the Lord's given them into our hand.

Say what horrible plan? And this shall be the sign

to us.

So both of them showed themselves to the garrison of

the Philistines, and the Philistines said, look, Hebrews are coming

up out of the holes where they've hidden themselves. And

the men of the garrison hailed Jonathan and his armor

bearer and said, come up to us, and we'll show

you a thing. And Jonathan said to his armor bearer,

come up after me, for the Lord's given them into

the hand of Israel.

Huh. Then Jonathan climbed up on his.

Hands and feet and his armor bearer after him, and

they fell before Jonathan and his armor bearer killed them

after him. And that first strike which Jonathan and his

armor bearer made killed about twenty men within as it

were half a furlough's length and an acre of land.

And there was a panic in the camp, in the

field and among all the people. The garrison and even

the raiders trembled the earthquake that became a very great panic.

Do you understand God's battle plan for your for your life?

Many times looks that ridiculous. And that's exactly why some

of you didn't do what you were supposed to do,

because you.

Were smarter than him.

You put pen to paper and it didn't make sense.

Why would I climb a cliff and be like, surely

the Lord's given you to me, I'll climb this cliff.

Think about the thoughts running through their head. What are

those twenty Philistines just took rocks and started throwing rocks

at their head while they're trying to climb up, and

they're climbing twenty twenty five feet in the air, and

they get head in the head with a rock and

plummet to their death.

Come on. This is real life, y'all.

This is these are thoughts that we would be having

with that battle plan. Or how about the disciples when

they're fishing all night? He goes, hey, cast over there, Lord,

we've been fishing all night. There's nothing there. Go there,

Go deeper. Some of you are going to have to

go do what you did before with no fruit. Go

deeper and give up your right to know why. And

if you will, then you'll actually see a massive produce

or increase of what he's called you to. You understand,

he's not impressed with your personal intelligence. He made you.

He made your brain. My son's in the MENSA program.

It's like the top two percent smartest people on earth.

I tell him all the time, you ain't gonna intellectually

argue yourself out of getting in trouble.

Boy.

One more, These are the names of the men whom

Moses sent to spy out the land.

Do you understand? For forty days and forty knights.

They spied out the land. And it says at the

end of forty days they returned from spying out the land,

and they came to Moses and Aaron and to all

the congregation of the people of Israel in the wilderness

of Puran at Kadish. They brought back words to them

to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of

the land. And they told them, we came to the

land to which you sent us. It flows with milk

and honey, and this is its fruit. However, the people

who dwell in the land are strong, and the cities

are fortified and very large. And besides, we saw the

descendants of a knock there Nephalum. The Amalekites dwell on

the land of Negeb, the Hittites, the Jebusites, the Amorites

dwell in the hill country, and the Canaanites dwell by

the sea and along the Jordan. Caleb quieted the people

before Moses and said, let us go up at once

and occupy it. See, Caleb was of a different spirit.

He's like Jonathan, Hey, if it looks ridiculous, that's God's plan.

The other safe plan is us, because the safe plan

is us preserving our life. And we know the spiritual

principle that if you seek to save your life, you'll

lose it. But if you lose your life for me,

then you'll actually find it. Oh wow, that's even in

the Old Covenant.

There.

Then the men who had gone up with him said,

we're not able to go up against the people, for

they're stronger than we are. So they brought to the

people of Israel a bad report. Listen, if you all

want to break cycles in your life, get away from

all the negative people. Negativity spreads like cancer. Get away

from it. If you want to walk, if you want

to be wise, you have to walk with the wise.

Proverb said, some of you all need to change your friends.

I'm not saying don't love them, but I'm saying the access,

the rings of intimacy connection that they have. You're trying

to change your life, and they're under the stupid act.

You're gonna need to bump them out a couple of rings.

Y'all with me, and don't go back to the same

stuff that puts you in this place in the first place. Hey,

oh e they all right, I'm finishing. So they brought

the people of Israel a bad report of the land

that they had spied out, saying, the land through which

we've gone to spy it out is the land that

devours its inhabitants, and all the people we saw in

it are of great height, and there we saw the Nephelum,

the sons of a Knok who come from the Nephilum,

And we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we

seemed to them. If you have grasshopper thinking, you will

have grasshopper result. Every day for which they spied out

the promised land, their inheritance, the consequences of their disobedience

to believe in God and believing that the impossible is

possible with him, was twelve months per day, and for

forty years of consequences. He was trying to root out

the spirit of Egypt in the unbelief out of them. Y'all,

we've been given promises, We've been given a promised land,

not just in the natural. And I ain't going around

the mountain for forty years, so you can come with me.

I can carry maybe one or two of you. I'm

a back if I need to, probably not more than that.

But it's time.

It's time that we become the warriors of the King

and take the inheritance that He's promised us, for our families,

for our individual lives, for this region. Man, there's so

many things I want to see pulled down in this region.

And it happens when corporately the land begins to choose righteousness,

then God has justified to remove principalities and powers and rulers,

fallen ones out of there, and put righteous council members in.

And that's part of the healing of the land. If

my people, who are called by my name, don't be

afraid of the responsibility He's given you on this earth.

The heavens, even the heavens, are the Lord. But he's

given the earth to the sons of men. All right,

let's stand.
