Embracing God As Your Father (The Lord’s Prayer Part 2)

it's been a good morning. Huh. Are y' all with me?

I've had a sixteen pound brisket in the oven since

last night because the Lord loves burnt offerings. I said

that first service, and Mark Piper goes well done, I said,

don't be cursing in this house as medium rare people. Well,

we had Mercy Gates fundraiser last Thursday Day and that

was an amazing success. I think that was the best

one yet and they were able to raise over one

hundred and fifty thousand dollars. And this coming Wednesday is

Prodigal Roads fundraiser and you're right on time. He did

that last or first service, and so looking forward to that.

I asked this first service, I'm gonna ask again how

many of y'all have had relationships, family relationships restored in

the last couple of months. Raise your hands, and how

many are contending for some relationships to be restored. So

we've said this over the last few weeks, but it's

it's extremely clear that one of the things of many

that the Lord's doing in this hour is it's Melachi.

He's returning the hearts of the fathers back to the sons,

and that means sons and daughters and the children back

to the father. And I really see him doing like

very intentional strategic work with restoration of family in this moment. Y'all,

we have been contending for revival, contending for to see

a move of God, and I want to tell you

that if you don't see your home restored, that's not revival.

Family was God's ideal, it wasn't man's ideal. From the

very beginning. He even called his angels sons and then

brought us into this family, and now he calls us

sons and daughters. It was his original intent for family.

So if it's kingdom, it's going to be family. And

when the restoration of the home happens and the father

comes back into his position of a over the home

and leads, well, then so much of this cultural decayed disappears.

You understand that, right. The enemy is very strategic with

attacking the home and breaking up family and trying to

bring confusion to destroy the structure of the family. But

it's not a contest. Two weeks ago, I said, pray

for England. England is super dark. It's been overrun by Islam,

and I understand, I'm life streaming and they flag us. Well,

they'll get over it. And it's a very dark, dark

place right now, and they need to pray and bring

their country back. And I literally saw two days ago

that there was an outpouring in East London where a church.

All night they were praying and worshiping and a fire

sprung up and Elizabeth Rose the First Service, grabbed the

mic and she said, I, y'all, I really feel like

the revival has really already started. And I would agree

with that. And what I'm seeing prophetically is that there

are fires beginning to spring up all over the place,

and there's going to be fires popping up all over

the globe, and eventually all these little fires are going

to come in and become one. They're going to converge

into one massive fire of God. And you're not going

to just see one person leading something, because this is

a global end times push of the Father, because it's

not his heart that any perish, and he knows, the

Lord knows time is short. And so I've said for

years Revival's coming, and it's not because we're so good,

but in his mercy, in his sovereignty, by his providence,

he's going to move for his namesake, and all throughout scripture,

when we just had a spirit of stupid over us

as humanity, God would say, okay enough, And because of

his love, his unconditional, eternal love towards us, he steps

in to history throughout at different times and he brings

justice when it's been thrown into the streets. And we're

living in the days where they're calling evil good and

good evil. Where we're living in the days where people

are confused of who they are, where they're at, and

there's just so much there's such a anti Christ spirit

on the move. And He didn't make a mistake by

putting you on planet Earth in this hour. Y'all are

not here by mistake. No matter what hell you've gone through,

God intentionally designed you for this very hour, for this purpose,

and it's not by mistake. Act seventeen is clear that

He preordained the moment in history that you would live.

And even in your exact dwelling places, you are not

a mistake. Many are the plans in a man's heart.

But it's the Lord's will that prevails. He ordains our steps,

and it says Deep calls into Deep at the roar

of his waterfall, and I want to encourage you this

morning to start carving out more time. Get into the

roar of his waterfall. Because the Lord is speaking, and

he shares his secrets with his friends. So become a friend.

He never cease to be a servant, but he said,

I no longer just call you servants, but I call

you friends. Become a friend of God. Don't settle to

be out in the seventy two, or even the twelve,

or even the three. Desire to be like the one John,

whom he would lean his head up into the bosom

of Jesus, and he would call himself the disciple whom

Jesus loved. He didn't say I'm an intergalactic international apostolic apostle,

Come follow me. No, there was such a humility in

the disciples. Something shifted so significantly after the resurrection, and

it was literally the Holy Spirit. And we're living in

that moment right now, in my opinion, the greatest time

on earth you could ever even dream of. I think

the Lord's waiting on us in way more areas of

our lives than we're waiting on him. And I think

one of the greatest enemies in the United States is unbelief.

You've been empowered, You've already been given the tools. So

it's time to actually believe in your heart of hearts

who He created you to be, and start charging hell

with a water pistol. Last week, I talked about the

Names of God from the Lord's Prayer, and if you

all remember, the Lord's Prayer is only found in two

of the four Gospels. It's found in Luke eleven one

to four and it's found in Matthew six five to fifteen.

The Lord's Prayer is much more than just a simple

religious prayer that we pray and can pray. But when

we break this prayer down, we actually begin to understand

that it's a compass. It's a map for living in

the Kingdom of Heaven. And we're breaking this down piece

by piece. And I actually talked about the Names of

God and first service, So if you're double dipping, we're

going to go beyond that because second service, you know

you confuse yet so am I. We're moving forward. But

remember he says the very first thing is our Father

in heaven. I know this is Mother's Day. Interestingly, if

you study Wisdom Proverbs eight, all throughout Wisdom, she is

referred to in a feminine sense. Interestingly, if you really

study that wisdom, who was there in the beginning before

the primal dust was here, was there as a workmanship,

you understand that wisdom is Jesus. That there are feminine

characteristics within God. Now, I didn't call God a female,

so please don't email me theological disputes. But the Holy

Spirit absolutely has nurturing in feminine characteristics. And so whether

you have a great relationship with your mother this morning

or not, God still longs to heal and meet every

one of those needs. He is not limited. Because we

call Father hollowed be your name. We realize that the names, characteristics,

and attributes of God cover every single thing that we need.

When Jesus said I've manifested your name, he's literally saying

I've manifested your name plural. And we went through all

of the names of God last week. And it's our privilege,

it's our honor, to be able to live in this

moment in history, abiding in Christ and seeing his names

manifest through our life, we get to co labor and

see the works of the evil one destroyed. We get

to see his names manifest. And he said that he

took his word and put it above his name. Now,

I want you to see something here, because in the

spirit filled arena we have a tendency to take spiritual

activity and put it here, and and take God's word

and put it here. But he said, I've taken my

word and put it above my name. What does that mean?

All of the miracle, signs and wonders are attached to

his names, And he took his word and put it

above that. Are y'all with me? He is the Word

and you need to be in a word. And if

you need a word, you don't need to be lined

up fifteen thousand feet deep for your daily prophetic horoscope.

You need to get in the word. Cultivate intimacy with Jesus,

and understand that John ten says, my sheep, hear my voice,

the voice of a stranger, they won't follow, and that

he desires to speak to you. And I can tell you,

no matter how revelatory you think you may be, that

if you look throughout your history with God, you're going

to quickly find out that much of what you hear

him speak is from his written word, and he will

never violate it. And we need to be rooted and

grounded in his words so that when He gives us

a direct word, we actually can judge it rightly and

not be tossed back and forth by all these goofball

profits today that aren't really profits and they're just pimping

the anointing. If you're wondering where I stand on stuff,

I try to make it clear. Remember the term Father

for God specifically is mentioned one hundred and sixty five

times in the four Gospels and forty times in the

Pauline Letters, but it was only used fifteen times in

the Old Covenant. And every time I read that, it's

so interesting. He wanted to hammer home that you're not

an orphan. And you can feel orphaned by your mother.

You may have abandonment issues, you may have unmet needs.

Maybe she wasn't around and you couldn't get the nurture

that you needed. Well, I've got great news. The Lord

is able to overcome time and meet you back in

those broken places and bring restoration to your soul. I

promise I'll be done it's not that bad. It says

your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

It was God's will and original intent for man to

take delight in his will Genesis one twenty eight. Then

God blessed them, and God said to them, be fruitful

and multiply fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion

over the fish of the sea, over the birds of

the air, and over every living thing that moves on

the earth. Have dominion over it. We are not subject

to the earth through global warming. Are you all with me?

You care about the earth and the stewardship of the earth.

One of the greatest things you can do is I

actually stop sinning. I say that a little facetiously, but

not completely. You want to know why, because it says

that when a group of people, a tribe, a nation,

if they get so lawless and so evil, the earth

itself will spew it out of the land the people.

Your sin affects the earth. It doesn't just affect you.

It affects your relationships and even has an impact on

the earth. Every time innocent blood is shed, that blood

has a voice, and it's crying out of the ground

for justice. I know this is a little intense on

Mother's Day, hanging there Genesis two fifteen to seventeen. Then

the Lord God took the man and put them in

the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. Y'all know,

Eden means pleasure. God didn't bring. God didn't create man

to put him in misery. Eden means pleasure. And it's

the joy of the Lord that's our strength. It's God's pleasure.

He desires for us to have abundant life, not mediocre life,

not a life where you look like you're miserable. You

ever meet any Christians that they say they love the

Lord and they're full of joy, but their face is

resting in a different posture. Sometimes I've resembled that you

don't have to agree with me, hun, while my wife's like,

oh can I change subjects? Okay, there we go. But

he put them in the garden to keep it. The

Lord God commanded the man, saying, over every tree of

the garden you may freely eat, But of the tree

of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat.

And the day that you eat of it, you'll die.

You'll surely die. Y'all. In the church, we have been

partaking from the good of the tree of Good and evil,

thinking it was the tree of life producing death in

our life, and not understanding why it's the good on

the tree of knowledge of good and evil that are

going to send people straight to hell. There's a way

that seems right and to man, but in the end

it leads to death. Why does the road that leads

to destruction narrows the path that leads to life. You

have to understand the difference between those two trees and

stop eating from the tree of knowledge of good and

evil and eat from the tree of life. Who is Jesus,

because that's where life comes. And he never designed us

to eat of that other tree. And it was his

mercy that he kicked man out of Eden, because lest

they stretch forth their arm and live forever in a

fallen state, it was his mercy Genesis two nineteen and twenty.

Out of the ground, the Lord God formed every beast

of the field, every bird of the air, and brought

them to Adam to see what he would call them.

Isn't it amazing? The Lord knows everything doesn't increase in knowledge, right,

and yet he desires to relate with us in our

finite creation. It's like so what are you gonna call this? Adam?

You know you have an authority over what you name.

Why do you think Jesus renamed Peter? Why Why do

you think Saul was renamed Paul? Why do you think

their names were changed? Because your identity and your destiny

is wrapped in your name. Abram become Abraham, became Sarah.

I became Sarah, Saul became Paul. Y'all with me Luke

twenty two forty two saying, Father, if it is your will,

take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, not my will,

but yours be done, y'all? Can I tell you sometimes

being obedient to the will of God doesn't feel good.

Sometimes everything inside of you doesn't want to do it.

And in that moment, if you'll remember what Jesus did,

then the potential for you to respond in your spirit

rather than your soul increases. And that is this for

the joy set before him. He endured the sufferings of

the cross. What's on the other side of this problem?

Every single problem you have, there's a provision attached to it.

Every temptation you have, you're already promised. He's not going

to tempt you more than what you can handle or

allow you to be, because He doesn't tempt man with evil.

You can't say after doing something ridiculous that, well, I

didn't really want to do it. Yes she did. And

the first step to repentance is actually being honest with

your love for the sin that you're struggling with, instead

of being religious about it and trying to dress it

up and put a skirt on it and name it.

That's my pastoral smile. I'm working on it eight and

a half years Philippians two thirteen. For it is God

who works in you both to will and to do

for his good pleasure. Y'all. Even the desire that springs

up in you to do his will came from him.

You ever pray this, Lord, violate my will, don't let

me do that again, and then you go do it again.

God's not gonna violate your will. You have to submit it.

So we're gonna see His kingdom advance on earth just

as it is in heaven. Then that means we have

to make ourselves of no reputation. You have to assassinate

your reputation not with false humility, but genuine humility. I

remember John Paul Jackson was in Scotland. I don't know

how many years ago, and there was this Irish prophet

and he met up with John Paul and some other

guys and he goes, yeah, the Lord told me a

few things about you. WHI I have me sitting in

me tub and he goes, oh he did, did you? Yea?

He says, you go about the world Prophesian and he goes,

yeah a little bit. Yeah, he told me you'd be

falsely humble. He goes, I am not falsely humble. He goes,

even told me you'd be stubborn too. I am not stubborn.

Just look at you. There's a difference between genuine humility

and false humility. False humility is pride masquerading. Y'all. Imagine

what the Lord can do with a group of people

that have genuine humility, hunger, they're teachable and accountable. What

does it look like for an entire community, a tribe

to begin to carry those types of characteristics. Because he's

not going to share his glory with anyone, but we

can steward what he's doing. But the moment we think

we were the reason why he moved. I heard Urt

Kendall say the other day that to the degree that

you do not grieve the Holy Spirit, that's the measure

that you'll carry the anointing. All right, I've been waiting

for this part for two weeks. Give us this day

our daily bread. Look back, there was not a mistake.

Somebody came up to me, Baylor. Baylor goes, hey, man,

you okay if I bring some bread in. I was like, okay,

And then he brought like this truckload of bread to

give to y'all. And this is so cool because because

it's a perfect illustration. Give us this day our daily bread.

Daily bread isn't just natural food, but everything we need

in this life. Jesus said in John six forty eight,

I am the bread of life. Now watch this. Bethlehem

means house of bread. The number value to Bethlehem is

four ninety. So every Hebrew letter, the twenty two letters

of the alphabet have pictures and numbers attached to each letter.

Nativity in Hebrew, the number value is four ninety to

be complete or perfect, which in Hebrew the word is

tamim is for ninety. Peter asks Jesus, how many times

do I have to forgive my brother seven times a day?

Jesus said, no. Seven times seventy, which is four ninety.

He says in John six fifty one, I'm the living

Bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of

this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that

I shall give is my flesh, which I shall give

for the life of the world. Psalm seventy eight twenty four.

He rained down manna on them to eat and give

them of the bread of Heaven. The bread of Heaven

was born in the house of bread, and a nativity

with four ninety and four ninety is tied to bread

and forgiveness. This is why he says, give us this

day our daily bread and forgive us. It's always tied together.

So when you're holding these elements of communion, you're holding

that bread. He is the bread that came down from heaven.

He is the bread of life. He is the showbread

from the sanctuary. He is our daily bread in every

aspect that we need, for every aspect of our life.

He's the bread. And when we hold that, you're holding

this mystical real presence of Jesus. Are y' all with me?

Luke twenty two to one. Now the feast of unloved

bread drew near, which is called passover. Y'all understand that

the unleaven bread is striped and has holes in it,

and is even prophetic pointing to his death. Bread all

throughout Scripture has to do with our sustenance. What we

need survive, and He is that bread. Jesus said, unless

you eat of my flesh and drink of my blood,

you have no life. We commune with this bread of life,

and when we pray, Lord, give us today our daily bread,

we're saying, Lord, I need you in every aspect of

my life. I need you for provision, for spiritual nourishment.

I need you to be able to forget, to strengthen

me and empower me so that I can forgive others,

so that I can live in forgiveness. Y'all, if you're

here this morning and you're living in unforgiveness, you're only

living in unforgiveness because you're full of lies in that arena.

Forgiveness becomes effortless when you get renewed in the spirit

of your mind. Because any of us, and we're all guilty,

We've all done this, all of us. We held on

to unforgiveness for a plethora of reasons, whether we thought

it was protecting our heart from being hurt further, or

maybe you think you're punishing the other person. Can I

tell you if you're holding onto unforgiveness this morning because

you think somehow you're hurting that other person. They have

no clue. You're carrying them around like a ball and chain.

They have no clue. They're not in your head. If

we could live in total forgiveness, what would that do

to change the church? I know one thing. The spirit

of offense that's been running rampant attacking the body of

Christ corporately right now wouldn't have a chance because you

would become unoffendable because the moment somebody did something stupid

to you, you'd be like, Jesus, Lord, forgive them. They

don't know what they're doing. And somebody are going, yes,

they did, they knew exactly what they were doing. Well,

guess what, Jesus. I just you know, I discerned some thoughts.

I don't know where Jesus is on the cross, and

he says, Father, forgive them. They don't know what they're doing.

Because he was looking with spiritual eyes, listening to his father.

But if you look with natural eyes. You're going to

listen to the other Father, and he's going to tell

you they know exactly what they're doing. They deserve. You

should punish them, you should judge them, you should get them,

you should condemn them. And yet scripture says if they

would have known, they never would have crucified the Lord

of Glory if they'd known who he was. And so

they're literally cursing their lives and their children's lives. Crucify am,

crucify them. Let his blood be on our heads and

our children in the natural with natural eyesight. That looks

pretty much like they know exactly what they're doing, doesn't it.

And that's part of partaking from the tree of knowledge

of good and evil rather than the tree of life.

That's listening to the Father of lives instead of the

Father in heaven. If he counted our sin, who could

stand none of us? Y'all. I don't care how long

you've been walking with the Lord. You need daily bread,

you need forgiveness. Let me tell you something. My humanity

showed up when I went to go pick my mom

up from the train station in San Antonio Wednesday night,

when Jelly Donut was singing in the Alamo Stadium. Jelly

Roll sorry because they blocked off all the exits on

both sides of that interstate, and I went all the

way down, couldn't get off the highway. My brother was

with me. I broke my wind shill with a rock

on the way there, Almost out of gas. Next thing

you know, we're in the stinking Hood. I'm almost out

of gas and I'm trying to get the stupid train

station that's right by the Alamo where Jelly Roll is,

and I got mad. I begin to learn a new

language of speaking in tongues for a brief moment, and

then I went into repentance and I needed some bread.

It was like, Lord, forgive me. Why am I triggering?

It's not the end of the world. Then I went

into the gas station, put my bulletproof jacket on, got out,

tried to gas up, and when I put my card

in there, it read no chipped cards. I'm like, did

we just go through a portal and it's nineteen forty

Every card is chipped. So then I finally get to

my mom after her thirty hour train ride. Bless her heart.

I get her and we eventually get gas, and then

there's some demonized woman in front of the store, and

so then I was back spiritual again. I had repented

from my driving issues, and my brother and I prayed

over the lady that was demonized. She let me keep

my hand on her head there for a minute, and

then she started to forcefully remove it. So I just

started releasing the anointing on her shoulder and our daily

bread forgiveness. Y'all, we're all human, you know, believe it

or not. I know this is hard for my wife

to know, but when I wake up in the morning,

I don't let fly into my pants like Superman. Like

I wake up, I gotta get my It surprises her,

even after twenty five years of marriage. Matthew four three

to four. Now, when the tempter came to him, he said,

if you're the son of God, command these stones to

become bread. But he answered and said, it is written

man shall not live by bread alone, but by every

word that proceeds from the mouth of God Matthew sixteen twelve.

Then they understood that he did not tell them to

beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine

of Pharisees and Sadducees. You ever had one of those

moments where you thought you understood what the Lord was saying.

You know, they're in the boat and they're like, He's like,

beware of the loaven of the Pharisees. Next thing you know,

the boys are in the boat having a conversation. We

didn't bring any of the bread with us. He multiplied

all that bread and we didn't bring it. Man, and

Jesus is like, boys, I'm not talking about the bread.

I'm talking about the leaven of the Pharisees. So what

does that mean? What does leavin do? Puffs up? Right?

It puffs up. So when you embrace a religious spirit,

you get arrogant. You puff up with pride, and he

gives grace to the humble, but he opposes the proud.

The moment you start using God's word to execute your

own will, you have a religious spirit. The moment you

start judging other people's sins worse than your own, you

have a religious spirit. The moment you start holding people

to a standard that you can't live and either can they.

You have come under the influence of a religious spirit.

You have lost the reality that you have to abide

in Christ to produce fruit. The religious spirit wants judgment.

It wants condemnation. It wants you to judge others while

you puff up, and then you're blinded to the reality

that you're not being transformed. You feel spiritual, because that's

part of the deception. You may be wearing the right clothing,

saying the right words, but inside you're dead. There's no transformation.

You don't feel the abundant life. Your joy level is flatlined.

And that is one of the things we are contending

to see brought down over this region. I mean, none

of us have that problem in here. I'm talking about

the church down the street. First Samuel twenty one, four

to six, and the priests answered David and said, there

is no common bread on hand, but there's holy bread.

If the young men have kept at least kept themselves

from women. Then David answered the priest and said to him, truly,

women have been kept from us about three days since

I came out, And the vessels of the young men

are holy, and the bread is in effect common, even

though it was consecrated in the vessel this day. So

the priest gave him holy bread. You understand, everything in

that temple is symbolic. It's pointing to something all of

it points back to Jesus in one shapeway or form,

and they would put fresh bread in that sanctuary every

single day, daily bread. So when Jesus is speaking, listen, y'all.

It is so important that when you're interpreting New Covenant scripture,

you're coming from an Old Covenant understanding. So many times

we take the New Covenant under standing and try to

read it into the old. You have to understand the

old first. He didn't come to abolish the law, but

to fulfill it. So if you don't have a proper

understanding of the law, you're not going to have a

real true understanding of the New Covenant. And in the

Western Church we do that often, we go backwards instead

of looking at that. So when you're a Jew and

Jesus is speaking like the eye of the needle when

he's talking about the rich man, you know, in our

Western mindset we think a threading needle. How many thought

that was a threading needle for a period of time.

It's easier to go through the eye of a needle

than for a rich man a camel to go through

the eye of the needle than a rich man to

get into heaven. Well, if that was the case, then no,

rich people are going to heaven. Sorry, if you're rich

going to hell, that's not the case. The eye of

the needle is the entrance of a city, and it

was not impossible for camels to get into the city,

but the camel had to get down and be helped through.

What's that humility? It means that the rich man has

to not put his trust in his riches, but humble

himself and put his trust in Jesus for salvation. That's

what Jesus was saying. And so we have to have

a correct Hebraic mindset to properly interpret the scriptures in context.

Y'all with me. I'm gonna start landing. We're not going

any higher. You don't need the oxygen. We're gonna slowly

start landing here, and I won't land too quick to

hurt anybody. And forgive us our sins, and we forgive

everyone who's indebted to us. Being forgiven is totally dependent

on our willingness to forgive. I say it this way,

only forgive to the degree you want to be forgiven. Why,

because he says if you don't forgive, you won't be forgiven.

Who wants to be totally forgiven. Okay, then you don't

get to hold dead against anyone. You don't get to

decide that your sin was way easier to forgive than

somebody else's. Oh yes, I know my sin smells, but

not nearly as bad as him. Then Peter came up

and said to him, Lord, how often will my brother

sin against me and I forgive him? I can just imagine, Peter,

He's probably got his trigger hand right by that sword.

How often Lord one? Two? Is it the fourth time?

I can pull it out of the sheath? As many

as seven times? Jesus said to him, I do not

say to you seven times, at seventy seven times. Therefore,

the Kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a king

who wished to settle accounts with his servants. When he

began to settle, one was brought to him, who owed

him ten thousand talents, and since he could not pay,

his master ordered him to be sold with his wife

and children and all that he had, and payments to

be made. So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him,

have patience with me, and I'll pay you everything, and

not of pity the master of that servant released him

and forgave him the debt. But when that same servant

went out, he found one of his fellow servants who

owed him a hundred denari and seizing him, he began

to choke him, saying pay what you owe. So his

fellow servant fell down and pleaded with him, have patience

with me, and I'll pay you. He refused and went

and put him in prison until he should pay the debt.

When his fellow servants saw that what had taken place,

they were greatly distressed. They went and reported to their

masters all that had taken place. Then his master summoned

him and said to him, you wicked. I forgave you

all that debt because you pleaded with me, And should

not you have mercy on your fellow servant as I

had mercy on you, And in anger, his master delivered

him to the jailers until he should pay all his debt. So, also,

my heavenly father will do to every one of you

if you do not forgive your brother from your heart.

That's serious. There's no way to lighten that scripture. And

how many times do we puff up with Levin with

pride and then decide that the things we've done in

life haven't really been that bad compared to the person

we're upset with. I have a question if the person

that hurts you, if you weren't looking to them for

identity for value, and you were loving them as they are,

would you get offended with them if they didn't agree

with you. See, we get hurt because we're looking for

validation from the other person, and so many times we've

given up our identity and put our identity in the

very hands of the person in front of us, and

the moment they don't validate us the way we believe

they should validate us, then what happens. We feel rejection,

We feel abandoned, we feel worthless, we don't feel like

we have any value, And then we get we have unforgiveness.

We begin to hold debt Why didn't you see me?

Why didn't you value me? Why didn't you love me?

Why didn't you see this? So much of our pain

is misplaced identity. So when we get free of ourselves

and we get healed, then we can love people where

they're at freely and not take up an offense. When

their humanity shows up, we can say, oh, man, that's

their stuff. Oh, you know what I'm saying. It's like

that guy did I share in this service about the

dude with rage and he slammed the door. I was

doing ministry with a gentleman years ago. He had a

spirit of rage, and I'm going after the demon taking

him through deliverance and he is raging because that's what

it was. And and I was like, I said, what's

going on? What are you thinking? Feeling? He is a

mad as she oh? And and I mean he starts

violently shaking with rage, and I'm like, we got a

live one. And he gets so angry he jumps up

and flies out of my office and slams the door.

And back then I was in a tiny, little two

hundred square foot office with a suspended ceiling. I don't

remember if Becky was in the other room or not,

but the ceiling went up, the entire ceiling, and then

boom dropped when he slammed the door, and it powder

coated my office like it was the north pole. And

then the officer, I mean, the manager runs out and

she's freaking out. She's like everything okay. I'm like, yeah,

do I need to call the cops. I'm like, no,

it's okay. And then he starts texting me and just

speaking to me in foreign languages and not very politely,

and starts cussing me out and cussing his wife out,

and you know, saying those very very explicit, explicit words.

And I just said, hey, buddy, this isn't you. You're loved, man,

don't let this stay. God wants to heal you. That's

not you, buddy, You're loved, and just he went off

on me, I mean went off. And about two and

a half hours later he text me back and said, hey,

will you please forgive me? Can I please come back?

I said, sure, come on. I didn't take it personally. Now,

if that would have happened a decade before, we might

have been rolling around on the ground together. You know

what I'm saying. There probably would have been some fivefold ministry.

But because I had had enough healing, I was free

of myself enough in that area, it didn't matter what

he said to me. I didn't. I wasn't looking for

him to validate me my identities in Jesus. And no

one can take that. I'm engraved into his hands. Him

and the Father are one. Nothing can pluck me out

of his hands, and the evil one cannot touch me.

That's what scripture says, so take your best shot. That's

why when I've been threatened by demons audibly fit, I

mean literally that they're gonna kill me and kill my family,

I don't get phazed. First time that happened, I got

right in the demon's face and said, what are you

waiting for? You got to go through my father first,

and that and when it said, when it saw that

I was not intimidated or full of fear, it just

went every one of you belonged to the Lord. Every

one of you, you should be charging hell with a

water pistol. Every one of you have been given the

gift of reconciliation. That means every one of you has

this awesome opportunity when people are not reconciled, to be

a part of that reconciliation, to mediate the kingdom, to

bring the wisdom of God into a situation, to do

great exploits for your king. Almost done. I'm hanging in there, buddy.

Don't self acate em. It's okay. So three quick things.

When it comes to the issue of debt, you got

to take an account of the debt Hebrews twelve to one.

It says that we're going to run the race, but

we need to lay aside every weight and sin which

clings so closely. Number Two, forgive to the degree you

want to be forgiven Colossians three thirteen. Bearing with one another,

and if one has a complain against another, forgiving each other,

as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Three.

Forgiveness restores unity anyone whom you forgive. I also forgive,

indeed what I forgiven. If I've forgiven anything, has been

for your sake in the presence of Christ. Tewod Corinthians

two ten. And I'll finish with this, Luke six forty two.

How can you say to your brother brother, let me

take out that spec that's in your eye, when you

yourself do not see the log that is in your

own eye, you hypocrite. Hypocrite means actor, you actor, stop

acting spiritual. First take the log out of your own eye.

Then you will see clearly to take take out the

spec that's in your brother's eye. Remember that goes back

to that principle. That goes back to that principle of

you can't take ground in somebody else's life's that the

enemy has in your own. Let me tell you something.

Mercy proceeds forgiveness. It proceeds forgiveness and judgment without mercy

to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. Period.

So when we say Lord, give us our daily bread,

and you start to meditate on what that really means.

When we say, Lord, forgive us of our debt, as

we forgive those indebted to us, and you recognize that

you forgive others, some of y'all maybe need to forgive God.

He doesn't need your forgiveness. He didn't sin, but because

of your lies, you've believed you've transferred debt onto him.

Maybe you need to forgive him this morning. And then

you need to forgive yourself, which I've found a lot

of times forgiving yourself can be the hardest thing in

the world. It's kind of like when we pray for healing.

We have so much faith to see people healed, but

then if we have an issue, our measure of face

somehow just diminishes for that healing. You know why, because

unworthiness is speaking louder than the promise. I didn't see

you a minute ago. It was like I was gonna

have Kobe get up there and figure it out if

the prayer seanes have come forward. You know, I said

this first service, but my dad and stepmom left tuesday.

It is the first time my brother and I spent

quality time with my dad since we were kids. They

left Tuesday. My mom's here. This is the first time

in quite a while that I will have Mother's Day

with my wife, my mom, and my mother in law. Y'all,

at the end of your at the end of your lives,

it's not going to be the houses, the cars, your

four oh one k, how great your insurance was. At

the end of your life, it's going to go back

to that thing called relationship again, your relationship with Jesus

and your family, your friends, and when you give an

account for your life with the Lord Jesus. At the

end of this whole thing, it's all about stewardship of relationship.

Your identity is in Jesus, your destiny is in people,

because it's not about you know, we just got the

second set of plans stamped back, and we're hard bidding

all the plans out now. We're meeting next week for

the electrical. We're going to break ground this summer on

the new campus. All those things are finally they're finally happening.

But well over two years ago, the Lord said, you

build the people, I'll build the church. And I know

that my primary job is to feed and lead. It's

our team's job. It's the elder's job to feed and lead,

it's the deacons, and it's about ministering this eternal Gospel

everywhere we go. It's about fulfilling the Great commission Matthew

twenty eight that, y'all. My primary job is to equip

the saints for the work of the ministry. And that's

what I'm going to give an account for as a leader,

a shepherd, holding true to the integrity of his voice

when I prophesy. Those are the things that I'm going

to be held accountable for it. But I can tell

you the Lord's target is on family, and you're gonna

be get all you people that put your hands up

that said you're tearing for breakthroughs. Well, I want to

tell you breakthroughs are coming, because He is the God

of breakthrough breaks, and he breaks through and he shows

himself strong on the behalf of those that wait for him.

We're seeing it. We're seeing family restored, we're seeing prodigals

coming home. We're seeing the enemy get a just a

stomping a mud hole in them. That's Texas language for

kicking butt. I don't know about y'all, but I'm thankful

for Mother's Day. I'm thankful for family. I'm thankful for

the hill country. I'm thankful for being alive in this hour.

We have amazing things in the Kingdom of God ahead

of us. So keep your heads up and your spiritual

guns loaded. Father, I thank you for your love. I

thank you for your goodness. Who's got stomach issues right now?

Your stomach is all tore up and like almost a

little like UZZI, Yeah, keep your hands up. You got

stomach issues right now in this moment. So Father, right now,

in the name of Jesus, I just come against the

anxiety related to family right now. And I asked Father

that you would just meet with these folks right now

and bring healing. Lord, cause your name Jehovah rafa to manifest,

cause your name Jehovah shalom to remove the anarchy and

the anxiety out of the stomachs right now, right now. Lord,

I asked that you'd heal digestive issues. Who's waking up

in the middle of the night with acid reflect Lord,

I asked that you bring healing over that, Lord, that

you'd bring peace to their stomachs. M Jessica, But mom,

what's your first name? Michelle? Michelle? Don't view the season

as failure. View this season as a new beginning because

the Lord's affection and hand is on your life and

all of those things that you went through as a

child that left you feeling like you didn't know how

to do things in your life. When you're older, the

Lord's going to meet you, is gonna bring healing. Lord.

I asked that you even bring healing over her dream life. Father,

that you would remove attacks in the night. Lord, that

you would bring peace over those reoccurring dreams, remove the

trauma from it. And I thank you that her daughter

is so proud and thankful right now. I thank you

for family being restored because you said they got saved

and their household got saved in Jesus' name. So Jesus,

thank you for an amazing day. Lord Father. We thank

you for your goodness, We thank you for your kingdom,

We thank you for empowerment of your spirit. Lord, would

you send stinkers in our path this week that need

to be loved? Lord, send the unlovable, try us, test

to squeeze us, Lord, and prune us. Ah then, Jesus
