  1. You're listening to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the Week,

  2. we helped you enjoy this message from Justin Carpenter. So

  3. I want to give a big shout out to Reprographics

  4. Hill Country Reprographics with John and Betty Joe. We got

  5. our stamped plans printed Friday and I picked them up

  6. and we got two sets for each building and it

  7. should have been seven and forty for those sets, and

  8. they would not let us pay for them. That was

  9. a that was a huge blessing. Tomorrow morning at nine am,

  10. I'm meeting with Marshall from c Tech in Fredericksburg and

  11. we're going to start moving forward with getting electricity out

  12. on the lane and the water system is already approved

  13. and so we're going to be on a waiting list

  14. for that. So we're going to be starting the utilities

  15. and we're moving forward believing the Lord that we're gonna

  16. be able to build Phase one debt free. So that's

  17. a huge, a huge deal. The plans that are actually

  18. on the wall inside here and in the four yer

  19. are still the same. We were just waiting for that

  20. famous engineering stamp. So we are also in the process

  21. of hard bidding out the buildings. So Lord Willing, and

  22. by his grace and mercy, we will be breaking ground,

  23. Lord Willing, sometime towards the end of summer, and so

  24. it'll be roughly ten to twelve months once we break

  25. ground before we can get into the first building. But

  26. that'll be awesome. And y'all have to understand that warfare

  27. increases as you take your promised land. And you also

  28. have to realize that there are giants in the land

  29. that you cannot take out on your own. And as

  30. long as you try to take them out, can you

  31. bring the lights up for me, bud, as long as

  32. you just take that scan it or slide it up,

  33. and there has all the way up. Thank you. There.

  34. There has been a significant uptick in resistance in recent months.

  35. In the last couple of months, anybody felt like they've

  36. been being tested and tried in very unique ways. And

  37. and anybody going, is this gonna like chill took three

  38. naps yesterday. I'm not kidding. I was like, all my

  39. family went to mo Ranch to swim, and I said,

  40. I love you, but I got to take a break.

  41. I've got to recharge. And so I started praying. I

  42. fell asleep praying. I woke back up praying, fell back

  43. a sleep, praying, woke back up, praying, fell back a sleep, praying.

  44. But I really really really needed it. And Troy mentioned

  45. to me in the fact that there was a theme

  46. to his words this morning, and he goes, what are

  47. you teaching on? And I told him, And it's pretty

  48. much the same themes as we land this series on

  49. the Lord's Prayer, we're going to finish up with and

  50. do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from

  51. the evil one for years is the Kingdom, the Power,

  52. and the glory forever. If you recall just a quick recap,

  53. Luke eleven one to four is the Lord's Prayer and

  54. the only other gospel that has the Lord's prayers Matthew

  55. six five to fifteen. And we have been dissecting this

  56. part by part over the last three weeks, I believe,

  57. and I believe this is the fourth and final at

  58. least for second service. For service still has one section behind.

  59. But I bought y'all. But has anybody noticed, just since

  60. in the last three weeks, has anybody noticed when you

  61. pray this prayer that it means more to you, know, Like,

  62. are you taking your time opening this up? Are you

  63. thinking about the issue of God being bred? I mean

  64. asked y'all. We talked about last week how Bethlehem means

  65. house of bread and the number values for ninety, which

  66. is the same exact number of times Jesus had to

  67. was told to forgive Nativity. In Hebrew, the number of

  68. value is for ninety, So the bread of Heaven came

  69. to the House of Bread for forgiveness. And this is

  70. why this is tied together even to be complete or full.

  71. That number value from the Hebrew word tamim is for ninety.

  72. You know, I jokingly said last week, I'm pretty sure

  73. when Jesus said how many times? I mean, when Peter

  74. said to Jesus, how many times do I got to

  75. forgive my brother? I am pretty sure that he was

  76. looking for a legalistic answer, because if Jesus would have said, oh,

  77. eight times, Peter, oh, trigger finger over here on his sword,

  78. go ahead, one more? Wouldn't have been crazy. If he

  79. actually would have took his head off instead of his ear. Oh,

  80. hold on, I know a few people that need a

  81. head transplant. They're called politicians. Was that illegal? Okay? I

  82. will stop, I can get in trouble. So, but I

  83. want to talk to you about temptation this morning. If

  84. you have your bibles, go to Genesis three. Now the

  85. serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field

  86. which the Lord God had made. And he said to

  87. the woman has God indeed said you shall not eat

  88. of every tree in the garden. Now number one, I

  89. have no idea what they were thinking talking to a serpent.

  90. And before it was cursed, it apparently was walking upright,

  91. which would really freak me out. I don't know about y'all.

  92. And they're interacting with this. By the way, Adam is

  93. there the entire time, and it's called the silence of Adam.

  94. And it's been the silence of man, the silence of

  95. the husband and the home that's helped lead to the

  96. moral cultural decay in our country. And so as men

  97. realize they're men and they stop allowing the assignment of

  98. neutering them and they actually stand up, You men, stand

  99. up and actually be the men of God that God's

  100. called you to be. You take your home back. There

  101. is no revival without restoration of the family. Period. We

  102. are fooling ourselves if we think we're in revival and

  103. the home is broken, A fatherless generation is only going

  104. to continue to reproduce orphans. And we have way too

  105. many men that deep down inside they still feel like

  106. teenagers trying to figure out what it means to be

  107. a man, to be initiated into manhood. And that's one

  108. of the things I'm super excited about that we are

  109. pushing forward with men's ministry and even the current study

  110. with The Dragon Slayer with Danny Soak, which I think

  111. is one of the best books he's done. I mean,

  112. I would, uh, I would put that book up right

  113. there with John Eldridge's Wild at Heart. I know, don't,

  114. I know, don't. Ben's over here is starting to shake

  115. when I said that. But but I think I think

  116. for you men, if you read Wild at Heart and

  117. read and even if you're not able to attend on Tuesdays, God,

  118. God is on the move. With Restoration Acts three says

  119. that we're living in the days of the restoration of

  120. all things. You don't need a prophetic word, because you

  121. have the word. It's just like the prophet Daniel, who,

  122. according to the scriptures, understood that the time of captivity

  123. of seventy years was coming to an end. But all

  124. of this captivity took place because they could not or

  125. they chose not to conquer their souls. They chose not

  126. to deal, and they gave it with sin, and they

  127. gave in to sin. You understand that temptation to sin

  128. is not wrong. Everybody's been tempted. Jesus was tempted in

  129. every way as a man, and yet without sin. And

  130. one of the things is the enemy loves to come

  131. bring temptation into our lives and then convince us that

  132. we're already condemned because of our temptation. And so many

  133. times we take that bait of Satan and we go, well,

  134. I was already tempted already, blew it. No, you didn't.

  135. If you think about throat punching somebody and you throat

  136. punch them, there's a massive difference in that, right. So

  137. the serpent's in there, and the woman says to the serpent,

  138. we may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden,

  139. But of the fruit of the tree which is in

  140. the midst of the garden, God has said, you shall

  141. not eat it, nor shall you touch it lest you die.

  142. Eve is already in deception because he never said anything

  143. about touching the fruit. Touching the fruit is temptation. Eating

  144. the fruit is sin. All the Lord said was in

  145. the day that you eat of it, in that day

  146. you will die. And that's exactly why no one ever

  147. hit a thousand years. Methuselah was the oldest person on

  148. earth nine hundred and sixty nine years. And as sin

  149. decayed humanity and sin increased in humanity, our length of

  150. life shrunk. And now you're lucky to hit one hundred

  151. years old, right, And I mean, I know there's an

  152. adjustment happening, but good night. Think about being nine hundred

  153. years old. I mean, and that dude never had a

  154. hip replaced. You know what I'm saying. I'll give that

  155. to you. A piper that was good, not anymore. The

  156. Orange Man fixed that. So this this tree is there,

  157. she says, you can't. You can't even touch it, for

  158. God knows that the servent side of the woman, you'll

  159. not surely die. For God knows that in the day

  160. you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and

  161. you will be like God, knowing good and evil. Do

  162. you understand? The Church and Revelation was actually commended for

  163. not knowing the deep things of Satan. The deep things

  164. of Satan were actually tied directly to Jezebel and her

  165. witchcraft and sexual immorality directly tied to her, and they

  166. were commended for not knowing the deeper things of Satan.

  167. You know, I tell people all the time, I wish

  168. I didn't know half of what I know about darkness,

  169. but I didn't have a choice because I was volent

  170. told twenty years ago for interhaling and Deliverance ministry, and

  171. so I've learned a whole lot more than I ever

  172. would have tried to go learn about the enemy had

  173. I not been called to doing that. Does that make sense? Like, y'all,

  174. we live in a fallen world, and you there is defilement,

  175. and you can if you're not careful hearing twenty thousand

  176. hours of what humanity is capable of doing, unregenerated and

  177. sometimes and saved. If you're not careful, you get jaded.

  178. You become so focused on the dirt that it can

  179. affect you. By the way, it's not prophetic to be

  180. able to see dirt in people's lives. Look in the mirror,

  181. you'll find dirt. We're in process. If you want to

  182. be prophetic, then you actually look at the gold of

  183. that person, no matter where they're at, who they are,

  184. ask the Lord to show you the way he sees them,

  185. and then you begin to prophesy their destiny and prophesy

  186. their gold right. Because every single person, no matter what race, color, denomination,

  187. we have all been made in the image of God,

  188. and that very thing alone should be enough to cause

  189. each of us to have honor for each other, because

  190. when we start tearing each other down and we give

  191. into that nonsense, we're actually attacking the very image of God.

  192. We're actually falling into the place in Corinthians where it

  193. says that you've not been properly observing the body. The

  194. least that you've done to them you've done to me, says,

  195. not even a cup of water will be forgiven or forgiven.

  196. Not even a cup of water will be forgotten if

  197. it's in my name. That means the most minute, minor

  198. thing that you do when no one's looking, you're actually

  199. building jewels for your crown to lay at his feet

  200. when no one sees. Jesus intentionally tried not to be

  201. seen it. Multiple times you see him saying, don't tell anybody,

  202. because he knew his time was short, and his fame

  203. grew to such a degree that he couldn't even go

  204. into some places because of it. And he cared more

  205. about the transformation of people's hearts than his fame. So

  206. when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,

  207. and it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree

  208. desirable to make one wise, lust of the eyes, lust

  209. of the flesh, and pride of life, we see all

  210. three right there. She took of its fruit and ate.

  211. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

  212. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and

  213. they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig

  214. leaves together and made themselves coverings. The very first thing

  215. that happened when they ate of that fruit. Everybody talks

  216. about an apple, it doesn't tell us what it was.

  217. But when they partook of it, everything changed. And the

  218. first thing they did was they hid from shame. The

  219. Lord shows up and they're literally hiding. But everything comes

  220. through those three gates. In your life, y'all says that

  221. we have been forgiven, we have been set free from

  222. the power of sin, and yet somehow we keep giving

  223. into temptation and areas of our lives and embrace a

  224. victim mindset. The moment we say I can't get free

  225. of this, you're already under a victim mindset, a victim

  226. spirit influence the moment you say, well, I wouldn't be

  227. living like this had this not happened to me. You're

  228. blame shifting, just like Adam and Eve did in the beginning. Well,

  229. the woman you gave me right, We got the comments

  230. flying this morning. But you understand, many of us are

  231. eating from that tree right now, and we're deceived because

  232. we're partaking of the good and it's not the tree

  233. of life. We're taking from the tree of knowledge of

  234. good and evil, and we're calling it spirituality, and it

  235. keeps us earthly. It keeps us bound, earthly in our

  236. thinking and even earthly wisdom. You must discover the difference

  237. between partaking of the tree of knowledge of good and

  238. evil and actually the tree of life, because you can

  239. partake of that tree of good and evil and go

  240. straight to hell, and many people will. So when he says,

  241. it says, and do not lead us in to temptation,

  242. but deliver us from the evil one. When we're tempted,

  243. it's because we are led away by our own passions.

  244. It says, let no one say when he is tempted,

  245. I am tempted by God. For God cannot be tempted

  246. by evil, nor does he himself tempt anyone. Let me

  247. stop there. God cannot be tempted by evil. So why

  248. is it every time the enemy comes into our life

  249. to bring destruction, to steal, kill, and destroy, do we

  250. blame God for that evil? Well, it's his fault. He

  251. didn't show up, he didn't do this. And the hardest,

  252. one of the greatest hurdles for us and our healing

  253. process is to understand that there are things that happen

  254. on planet Earth when it comes to steel, kill, destroy,

  255. that he had nothing to do with and that and

  256. that is very difficult in our thought our thought process.

  257. But what happens is, and I said this first service,

  258. as long as we have misplaced debt, as long as

  259. we have misplaced unforgiveness, you can never be free of unforgiveness.

  260. So if I say it's all this person's fault, then

  261. guess what I can never get free. If I take

  262. their sin against me and I say it's God's fault

  263. he should have done something, then I've just taken their

  264. sin and put that blame on God, and then I

  265. can never forgive them totally because it's misplaced debt. So

  266. then you end up living the rest of your life

  267. in a cycle of defeat and demonic influence over your

  268. life because of the unforgiveness. And you're stuck in that

  269. cycle because you've taken the bait of Satan and you

  270. believe the lie that God can be tempted with evil

  271. and that he tempts others with evil. That's why it's

  272. very we have to be very careful with our theology.

  273. If you take a high view of God's sovereignty, you

  274. will end up blaming God for sin. Y'all haven't fun yet?

  275. Isn't this such an easy subject? I just oh, James

  276. one point thirteen says this, Let no one say when

  277. he's tempted, I'm tempted by God. For God cannot be

  278. tempted by evil, nor does he himself tempt anyone. But

  279. each one is tempted when he's drawn away by his

  280. own desires and enticed. Then when desire has conceived, it

  281. gives birth to sin, and sin, when it's full grown,

  282. brings forth death. So the process it all starts with

  283. a desire, and you have to understand when you've got

  284. a desire in your soul. Is this my soul? Or

  285. is this the Lord? Is this coming from the tree

  286. of good? Or is this coming from the tree of life?

  287. Because it says there's a way that seems right on

  288. to man, but in the end it leads to death.

  289. That's why Proverbs three five and six says trust in

  290. the Lord with all your heart. Do not lean on

  291. your own understanding, but in all of your ways, acknowledge Him,

  292. and he will make your path straight. Trust him. Brennan

  293. Manning wrote a book called Ruthless Trust. It should be

  294. in the library of every I think is a book

  295. that should be in everybody's library, Ruthless Trust, because at

  296. the end of the day, that's what he's calling us to.

  297. And if we don't have ruthless trust, we will never

  298. live our lives in the impossible. Y'all. You don't get

  299. to see the names of God manifest if you're not

  300. in an impossible situation. We're constantly saying, Lord, let there

  301. be miracle, signs and wonders, but I don't want any testing.

  302. It doesn't work that way, y'all. If you need his

  303. names to manifest. That means you're in the middle of it.

  304. You need Jehovah Rafha. That means there's something you need

  305. healing for. God's not gonna manifest healing when there's no

  306. need for healing. And all of his names address everything

  307. we need in this life. It shows you his very dna,

  308. his very nature of who he is, not just what

  309. he chooses to do for us. And when we don't

  310. give into temptation, we give him. We give him our yes.

  311. It says that he is actively working on the behalf

  312. of those that wait for him. How about the temptation

  313. of not waiting for your destiny? The result of that

  314. is ishmael. So when you think about desire, what are

  315. you desiring? When you think about your heart, where your

  316. treasure is there your heart's going to be? What are

  317. you treasure? What are you feeding? Do you understand the

  318. difference between holy desire and unholy desire? Too many times

  319. we are actually being led by our soul, thinking that

  320. our spirit's ruling price Corithians ten thirteen. No temptation has

  321. overtaken you accept such as is common to man. But

  322. God is faithful who will not allow you to be

  323. tempted beyond what you're able? Isn't that good news? Are

  324. y'all with me? So guess what? You don't have to

  325. get crushed by a temptation, Ladies, there's a whole lot

  326. of girls now and mercygate, right. I mean, surely nothing

  327. can happen with eleven women in a house right when

  328. you're tempted and you feel like you're being tempted beyond anything,

  329. because you know y'all have an off day every once

  330. in a while, you don't have to give into that temptation. Right.

  331. Some of y'all are smiling, some of y'all look like

  332. you want to throat punch me, But no temptation has

  333. ever overtaken you. Accept Such is as common to man.

  334. But God is faithful who will not allow you to

  335. be tempted beyond what you're able. But with the temptation

  336. will also make the way of escape that you may

  337. be able to bear it. Some of the best thing, sometimes,

  338. the best thing you can do in the moment of

  339. stimulus is to literally just take a deep breath and

  340. remove yourself from a situation, come back to peace, and

  341. then begin to address it. I tell people all the time,

  342. the worst thing you can do is make a life

  343. changing decision in the height of emotion. How many stupid

  344. things have we done in life in that moment where

  345. we're triggered, we're fired up, and then blah, we just

  346. let it all out and then guess what, Then it's

  347. clean up time because the moment we calm back down.

  348. And by the way, if you want to know if

  349. you have a stronghold, when you have a one ton

  350. issue and you respond with ten tons, you have a stronghold.

  351. Are you with me? When something very small causes you

  352. to lose your stuff, that's a stronghold and you're not

  353. aware of that stronghold because you're prideful, and your pride

  354. blinds you from the stronghold. And before any now there's life.

  355. I just love this morning. You got laughter and calm.

  356. I mean this, y'all are awake. We all have strongholds.

  357. Every one of us have had the pride of life.

  358. God is dealing with those strongholds. You don't have the

  359. ability to pull your stronghold down because you don't even

  360. know where it's at, unless unless you have people in

  361. your life that you actually trust enough to speak into

  362. your life. And guess what, right, there is the first

  363. step for that stronghold coming down, because that actually takes humility.

  364. How about this, You actually bring your temptation into the light,

  365. and then it diffuses the strength of it. Anything you

  366. hide and try to manage in your soul strength, you're

  367. actually fueling the enemy and fueling that potential assignment to

  368. take you out. That's why he constantly says a house

  369. divided can't stand. He's only got a few tricks, y'all,

  370. and he uses the same things over and over, over

  371. and over. And we have temptation because we don't want

  372. to have perseverance in our destiny. We don't want to

  373. have to wait for things. So the enemy offers up

  374. a faster solution to get you what you want. The

  375. problem is, you don't get what you want, and you're

  376. not happy with what you get. Now, not only does

  377. the Lord guarantee that he's not going to allow us

  378. to ever be tempted to what we can above what

  379. we can handle. Matthew twenty six forty one says, watch

  380. and pray lest you enter into temptation. The spirit, indeed

  381. is willing, but the flesh is weak. Jesus is in

  382. the garden and he tells him, watch and pray. He

  383. goes off and he watches and prays for an hour.

  384. He comes back their sleep, he goes can you can

  385. you not watch and pray for one hour? He tells

  386. him this. But the key in this is watch and

  387. pray lest you enter into a temptation. So there's a

  388. direct link or key of watching and praying that strengthens

  389. your spirit where you're not even tempted in that place.

  390. So what is the answer to temptation. It's intimacy with

  391. the Lord. Because you feed your spirit and you take

  392. up your cross, and you bear your cross, you deny

  393. your flesh, and now you're strengthening your spirit. Y'all understand

  394. that as you mature in Jesus, as we grow in Him,

  395. your spirit grows, and it literally grows, and your spirit

  396. will grow bigger than your physical body. This is why

  397. when people get close to the Lord and they are

  398. walking in deep intimacy with the Father, which is directly

  399. connected to authority. When you walk close to him, you

  400. walk in a greater measure of authority because it's proximity based,

  401. and your spirit will grow. These spiritual disciplines grow your spirit.

  402. And guess what the Holy Spirit is insight of your spirit.

  403. And this is why you can feel some people fifteen

  404. feet away because of the strength of their spirit. The

  405. enemy's not afraid of power. He fears authority, and it

  406. takes authority to drive demons out. If you try to

  407. have a power, match your power against their power. You screaming.

  408. You can scream as loud as you want at them.

  409. You get your veins pumping out. Try to be all intimidating.

  410. They're not worried about that. But over and over and

  411. over wherever Jesus went, they knew who he was, and

  412. they feared him, and over and over it talked about

  413. the authority that he taught with, talked about the authority

  414. that he walked in. There's a difference between exusia, which

  415. is authority, and dounamus, which is power, which we get

  416. our word dynamite. So watch and pray. James one twelve says,

  417. blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he

  418. has been approved, he will receive the crown of life,

  419. which the Lord has promised to those who love him.

  420. Every day we wake up, we have a choice. Are

  421. we going to walk in the spirit or are we

  422. going to walk in our flesh. What's it take to

  423. get you into your flesh? How big of a stinker

  424. can you handle before you get into your flesh? Or

  425. how about this, what does it take for you to

  426. submit your authority to the enemy? Because the moment you

  427. go into your flesh, you give up your authority. I

  428. want to submit to you that we're entering into a

  429. season and an era where if you think you can

  430. be lukewarm, you will not stand. If you think you

  431. can have one foot in the world and one foot

  432. in the kingdom, you're going to lose a foot. We

  433. haven't even begun to see the resistance. There is something

  434. right now, even as we speak underneath the spiritual water table,

  435. things are not as we think. And I can't really

  436. go beyond that because I'm still connecting some dots right now.

  437. But there's a reason why Jesus says, will I find

  438. faith and the love of many will grow cold? What's

  439. it take for you to grow cold? What's it take

  440. for you to turn your love off? Everybody's different, We're

  441. all in different places. Some of you all just got saved.

  442. So there's grace there, which, by the way, for you

  443. people that have been walking with the Lord for a

  444. long time. People that first get saved seem to get

  445. all of their prayers answered whatever they ask, like the

  446. first six months. It's amazing they just so. I suggest

  447. that if you're having a hard time getting a prayer answer,

  448. go find a new believer and say, hey, come into

  449. agreement with me on this. But the moment they hit

  450. six months, they're in the same boat as you. Then

  451. the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of

  452. temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the

  453. day of judgment Galatians five point sixteen. I say, then

  454. walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfill the

  455. lust of the flesh. It is mind boggling to me

  456. how we as human beings, can taste freedom, walk with

  457. the Lord, and then so easily go back and entangle

  458. ourselves at times, thinking somehow that it's going to work

  459. out differently this time. You know what I mean. Anybody

  460. ever go back to something that brought destruction in their life,

  461. and you go back because somehow you think maybe you

  462. miss something. Final peace for years is the kingdom and

  463. the power and the glory forever. God does not share

  464. his glory with any man. Tewod Corinthians ten seventeen says,

  465. but he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.

  466. Now there is a glory of man. Even Nebicanzer said

  467. that my glory was restored. There's different glories, but God's

  468. glory he doesn't share with anybody. And nebecan Zar puffed up,

  469. ran his mouth and then spent a few years living

  470. like an animal. I bet you he looked gnarly out

  471. there with the hair like feathers and then nail. I

  472. mean that could not have been fun Philippians fourth, or

  473. I'm sorry Philippians four nineteen. And my God shall supply

  474. all your need according to his riches in glory by

  475. Christ Jesus. Y'all, this whole Lord's prayer, it all ties

  476. back together if you establish that he is your father,

  477. and that he is good, and that he is a

  478. good father, and that he's not looking to punish you.

  479. He chastens us, he disciplines us, but he's not punishing

  480. us where his kids, it says, fear has to do

  481. with punishment. Every place of your life, where there's a stronghold,

  482. where there's a lie, where there's a wound, it is

  483. all love deficits. It is a lack of love tied

  484. to true and you're viewing life in that area skewed.

  485. It's like if I had a bunch of dots on

  486. my glasses and I'm trying to see a picture clearly,

  487. but all my vision is blurred because of the pain.

  488. Temptation wouldn't be the same strength if we're firm in

  489. our identity as God, as our Father, and if we

  490. knew deep down inside of our hearts that if he

  491. hasn't answered a prayer, it's because of his love that

  492. he's at work inside of us, that he is forging

  493. our character to look like Jesus. He's creating something in

  494. you that can handle responsibility in his kingdom. He didn't

  495. take Jesus in the wilderness to take him out. Satan

  496. tempted Jesus in the wilderness. God tested Jesus in the wilderness.

  497. He went in in the power of the Holy Spirit,

  498. or he went in full of the Holy Spirit. And

  499. at the end of that testing, he came out in

  500. the power of the Holy Spirit. So understanding that every

  501. time the Father tests you as his kid, he's actually

  502. wanting to promote you. If you'll actually trust him in

  503. the process, you'll not give into temptation to take a

  504. cheap way out because you're going to live your life

  505. at the expense of other people and then get bitter

  506. towards them when they don't like that you're living your

  507. life at their expense. It really is the simplicity of

  508. the Gospel. We die, he lives, and to the degree

  509. that we lose our life, we actually find it. And

  510. it's that simple, y'all. If you want to live an

  511. abundant life, Number One, honor your mother and father, because

  512. it's the one commandment that comes with a promise. If

  513. you honor your mother and father, it will go well

  514. with you and you will live a long life. Sounds

  515. pretty good to me, right. Honor has nothing to do

  516. with the way they live, So even if they're stinkers,

  517. you honor them as the one God chose to bring

  518. you into the planet earth. David honored the anointing on

  519. Saul when he spent fifteen years trying to kill his butt.

  520. But we're too busy trying to climb the spiritual ladder

  521. of success in the church, and unfortunately we will climb

  522. over each other at times to make that happen. There

  523. are things I do in my life where I intentionally,

  524. intentionally try to kill reputation. Jesus made himself of no reputation.

  525. But it's hard, isn't it, Because that pride of life

  526. when we try to humble ourselves, that pride of life

  527. will come up when we're not getting our way we deserve.

  528. This shouldn't be this way. If you'll live your life

  529. with open hands and give away everything you've been freely given,

  530. then you'll see a massive increase of the flow of

  531. the Kingdom in you and through you, Because the moment

  532. you grab a hold of something and tighten your grip,

  533. you've just showed the Father that you're not trustworthy in

  534. that area to handle more. That's why it says don't

  535. despise small beginnings. We're to trust him with vindication. Every

  536. one of us have had injustice happen in our lives

  537. where people chose to live at our expense, and it's

  538. a huge temptation to want to vindicate your name in

  539. those moments. But vengeance is the lord. I think if

  540. we're honest with ourself at times, we don't want God

  541. to vindicate us because we know they're gonna bless that

  542. person and try to get them redeemed, and we want

  543. to chop their head off. There's a difference between vindication

  544. and vengeance, like when God's vengeance is that they're delivered

  545. from the evil one. God's vengeance, his justice is that

  546. the person that was wounded and wounding other people all

  547. of a sudden give their life to Jesus. And you

  548. pray for your enemies, and you bless your enemies, and

  549. if they say you're going a mile, you go, hey,

  550. let's go two miles. This is the way of the Kingdom.

  551. It's absolute CRUCIFIXI to your flesh. It is always opposite

  552. day in the Kingdom, opposite of what we naturally would

  553. want to do. And when we're tempted, instead of looking

  554. how we can get away with that temptation, we should

  555. be looking for the exit door so that we don't

  556. buckle under that temptation. You don't stay there and flirt

  557. with it. And in that moment, in that temptation, what's

  558. going to strengthen you and actually get you to look

  559. for that exit door is the strength of your intimacy

  560. with Jesus. Is your love for intimacy and to walk

  561. with your father, greater than this little shortcut that's offered

  562. in front of you by the enemy. Y'all. He doesn't

  563. come like that. If I can't do that again, he

  564. doesn't do that, Like if he doesn't, he normally doesn't.

  565. I can't do it again. But if he did that,

  566. you would never You would never be like, oh, yeah,

  567. that's a great idea, I'll take that. No, he comes

  568. to you in a luring way, an angel of light

  569. that means you think it's the tree of life that's

  570. being presented to you, and it's actually good, from the

  571. tree of knowledge of good and evil, and he knows

  572. the moment you partake of that it's gonna bring death.

  573. Just because it has glitter doesn't mean it's gold. Just

  574. because it shines doesn't mean it's the light of the Lord.

  575. There is so much counterfeit spirituality in the church today,

  576. so much humanism that has come into the church where

  577. science is the boss. I hope at the end of

  578. the day that we all realize that he doesn't want

  579. us to go into temptation, because he's good. When I

  580. when when you're little and your parents say don't go

  581. in the street, they're not trying to keep you from

  582. having fun. But the enemy tells you go into the street,

  583. that's where all the fun is. Oh, don't listen to them.

  584. They're stupid, they're old. You know, culture is different, you

  585. know more. Now, go to the street, that's where the

  586. fun is. And then you get hit by a car.

  587. We were in England, and because they don't drive right

  588. and drive on the wrong side of the road and

  589. on the wrong side of the vehicle. It's one of

  590. the that area is one of the most like tourists

  591. get hit by cars there because you know, Americans, we

  592. drive on the right side of the road because we

  593. do everything right because we're Americans. Oh and but no,

  594. but you always because we drive on the right side

  595. of the road. Which way do you look when you

  596. go across the sidewalk right? I mean yes, laughs, but

  597. there you got to look right. And so people will

  598. go out into the road and they won't look right,

  599. and that's where traffic is coming. I did it once,

  600. and these jokers, when I say they don't mind hitting you,

  601. I think they'd blast you and just keep going. I

  602. mean they didn't even slow down. I was like, holy cow,

  603. there's a way that seems right on de manned, but

  604. in the end it leads to death. When the Lord

  605. says look left, you look left, Harvey says, look right,

  606. you look right. None of this was designed for just

  607. a bunch of rules for behavior modification, you know, like

  608. the school systems with kids that are hyperactive, they'll, you know,

  609. we'll just drug the snot out of all the kids

  610. to modify their behavior. The Lord doesn't do that with us.

  611. He's after your heart, he's not after behavior modification. You know,

  612. there's plenty of people that on the outside appearance they

  613. seem great, right, but in the inside they're full of

  614. dead man's bones. That's your Pharisees and your Sadducees putting

  615. weights on people that they themselves aren't willing to carry.

  616. You know, we have prophetic words over this house that

  617. God has destined us to be a movement. We're not

  618. a movement yet. We're a small company of people. But

  619. that's over the house. All of these different words, words

  620. about worship albums coming out of here, all of these

  621. different prophetic words that have been spoken over the house

  622. over the last eight and a half years. The enemy

  623. is not just going to lay down and be like, oh,

  624. you guys are awesome. I'll go down the street and

  625. just mess with them. No, we're fighting for inheritance, y'all.

  626. Right now in this moment, we're fighting for an in

  627. arridance from the Lord where we're and we're not just

  628. fighting for ourselves. We're fighting for this region and to

  629. go even further, when it comes to legacy, you're fighting

  630. for your children. What will it be like? Not what

  631. could it be like? What will it be like when

  632. we begin to walk in the fullness of what He's

  633. called us to, and we are a movement, a river

  634. of God in this region, and that spiritual inheritance is

  635. given to our children, and Lord willing our children, our

  636. children's children. You only become a movement by actually stewarding

  637. revival and keeping it going so that it actually becomes

  638. a cultural thing, because your culture is what brings acceleration.

  639. And so we begin to steward these things that God's

  640. called us to. But that means the Kingdom has to

  641. advance inside of us before it advances through us. And

  642. if you hadn't figured it out, the Lord in this

  643. hour is pulling down strongholds. He is cutting branches that

  644. don't produce fruit and I think everyone has felt some

  645. measure of that in recent months. Don't fall into the

  646. lie that it's all the enemy when you're challenged in

  647. areas of your life. Don't blame the enemy for everything.

  648. Don't give him that much credit. A part of it

  649. is actually the Lord resisting you to wake you up

  650. so that you can produce more fruit. One of the

  651. things I felt today I want to release is that

  652. I really do believe that that the Lord is releasing

  653. a greater measure of angelic reinforcements the there there is

  654. a measure of the enemy uh and his intensity of

  655. attack in recent months. And God's response is that you're

  656. going to begin to see more angelic activity on the

  657. good side. So reinforcements are on the way. And I know,

  658. I know, we don't talk much about the angelic roman

  659. the church, and you don't worship angels, but I can

  660. tell you this, we need them. I was in a

  661. session this week and I had I had a angel

  662. who's assigned to me. In my mind's eye, I saw

  663. him show up. And when I saw him show in

  664. an internal vision, not external, I didn't see him outside

  665. next to me, and the moment he did, the other

  666. person what was on them cut their eyes so exactly

  667. where I felt it show up. We need angelic reinforcement, right,

  668. angels answer the Lord. You don't command angels, so please

  669. don't try to, because that would be dumb. You don't

  670. want a spirit a stupid angels answer. They hearken to

  671. the word of the Lord, not man. So all right,

  672. if I can get some keys, Thank you for listening.
