You're listening to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the Week,
-
we helped you enjoy this message from Justin Carpenter. So
-
I want to give a big shout out to Reprographics
-
Hill Country Reprographics with John and Betty Joe. We got
-
our stamped plans printed Friday and I picked them up
-
and we got two sets for each building and it
-
should have been seven and forty for those sets, and
-
they would not let us pay for them. That was
-
a that was a huge blessing. Tomorrow morning at nine am,
-
I'm meeting with Marshall from c Tech in Fredericksburg and
-
we're going to start moving forward with getting electricity out
-
on the lane and the water system is already approved
-
and so we're going to be on a waiting list
-
for that. So we're going to be starting the utilities
-
and we're moving forward believing the Lord that we're gonna
-
be able to build Phase one debt free. So that's
-
a huge, a huge deal. The plans that are actually
-
on the wall inside here and in the four yer
-
are still the same. We were just waiting for that
-
famous engineering stamp. So we are also in the process
-
of hard bidding out the buildings. So Lord Willing, and
-
by his grace and mercy, we will be breaking ground,
-
Lord Willing, sometime towards the end of summer, and so
-
it'll be roughly ten to twelve months once we break
-
ground before we can get into the first building. But
-
that'll be awesome. And y'all have to understand that warfare
-
increases as you take your promised land. And you also
-
have to realize that there are giants in the land
-
that you cannot take out on your own. And as
-
long as you try to take them out, can you
-
bring the lights up for me, bud, as long as
-
you just take that scan it or slide it up,
-
and there has all the way up. Thank you. There.
-
There has been a significant uptick in resistance in recent months.
-
In the last couple of months, anybody felt like they've
-
been being tested and tried in very unique ways. And
-
and anybody going, is this gonna like chill took three
-
naps yesterday. I'm not kidding. I was like, all my
-
family went to mo Ranch to swim, and I said,
-
I love you, but I got to take a break.
-
I've got to recharge. And so I started praying. I
-
fell asleep praying. I woke back up praying, fell back
-
a sleep, praying, woke back up, praying, fell back a sleep, praying.
-
But I really really really needed it. And Troy mentioned
-
to me in the fact that there was a theme
-
to his words this morning, and he goes, what are
-
you teaching on? And I told him, And it's pretty
-
much the same themes as we land this series on
-
the Lord's Prayer, we're going to finish up with and
-
do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from
-
the evil one for years is the Kingdom, the Power,
-
and the glory forever. If you recall just a quick recap,
-
Luke eleven one to four is the Lord's Prayer and
-
the only other gospel that has the Lord's prayers Matthew
-
six five to fifteen. And we have been dissecting this
-
part by part over the last three weeks, I believe,
-
and I believe this is the fourth and final at
-
least for second service. For service still has one section behind.
-
But I bought y'all. But has anybody noticed, just since
-
in the last three weeks, has anybody noticed when you
-
pray this prayer that it means more to you, know, Like,
-
are you taking your time opening this up? Are you
-
thinking about the issue of God being bred? I mean
-
asked y'all. We talked about last week how Bethlehem means
-
house of bread and the number values for ninety, which
-
is the same exact number of times Jesus had to
-
was told to forgive Nativity. In Hebrew, the number of
-
value is for ninety, So the bread of Heaven came
-
to the House of Bread for forgiveness. And this is
-
why this is tied together even to be complete or full.
-
That number value from the Hebrew word tamim is for ninety.
-
You know, I jokingly said last week, I'm pretty sure
-
when Jesus said how many times? I mean, when Peter
-
said to Jesus, how many times do I got to
-
forgive my brother? I am pretty sure that he was
-
looking for a legalistic answer, because if Jesus would have said, oh,
-
eight times, Peter, oh, trigger finger over here on his sword,
-
go ahead, one more? Wouldn't have been crazy. If he
-
actually would have took his head off instead of his ear. Oh,
-
hold on, I know a few people that need a
-
head transplant. They're called politicians. Was that illegal? Okay? I
-
will stop, I can get in trouble. So, but I
-
want to talk to you about temptation this morning. If
-
you have your bibles, go to Genesis three. Now the
-
serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field
-
which the Lord God had made. And he said to
-
the woman has God indeed said you shall not eat
-
of every tree in the garden. Now number one, I
-
have no idea what they were thinking talking to a serpent.
-
And before it was cursed, it apparently was walking upright,
-
which would really freak me out. I don't know about y'all.
-
And they're interacting with this. By the way, Adam is
-
there the entire time, and it's called the silence of Adam.
-
And it's been the silence of man, the silence of
-
the husband and the home that's helped lead to the
-
moral cultural decay in our country. And so as men
-
realize they're men and they stop allowing the assignment of
-
neutering them and they actually stand up, You men, stand
-
up and actually be the men of God that God's
-
called you to be. You take your home back. There
-
is no revival without restoration of the family. Period. We
-
are fooling ourselves if we think we're in revival and
-
the home is broken, A fatherless generation is only going
-
to continue to reproduce orphans. And we have way too
-
many men that deep down inside they still feel like
-
teenagers trying to figure out what it means to be
-
a man, to be initiated into manhood. And that's one
-
of the things I'm super excited about that we are
-
pushing forward with men's ministry and even the current study
-
with The Dragon Slayer with Danny Soak, which I think
-
is one of the best books he's done. I mean,
-
I would, uh, I would put that book up right
-
there with John Eldridge's Wild at Heart. I know, don't,
-
I know, don't. Ben's over here is starting to shake
-
when I said that. But but I think I think
-
for you men, if you read Wild at Heart and
-
read and even if you're not able to attend on Tuesdays, God,
-
God is on the move. With Restoration Acts three says
-
that we're living in the days of the restoration of
-
all things. You don't need a prophetic word, because you
-
have the word. It's just like the prophet Daniel, who,
-
according to the scriptures, understood that the time of captivity
-
of seventy years was coming to an end. But all
-
of this captivity took place because they could not or
-
they chose not to conquer their souls. They chose not
-
to deal, and they gave it with sin, and they
-
gave in to sin. You understand that temptation to sin
-
is not wrong. Everybody's been tempted. Jesus was tempted in
-
every way as a man, and yet without sin. And
-
one of the things is the enemy loves to come
-
bring temptation into our lives and then convince us that
-
we're already condemned because of our temptation. And so many
-
times we take that bait of Satan and we go, well,
-
I was already tempted already, blew it. No, you didn't.
-
If you think about throat punching somebody and you throat
-
punch them, there's a massive difference in that, right. So
-
the serpent's in there, and the woman says to the serpent,
-
we may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden,
-
But of the fruit of the tree which is in
-
the midst of the garden, God has said, you shall
-
not eat it, nor shall you touch it lest you die.
-
Eve is already in deception because he never said anything
-
about touching the fruit. Touching the fruit is temptation. Eating
-
the fruit is sin. All the Lord said was in
-
the day that you eat of it, in that day
-
you will die. And that's exactly why no one ever
-
hit a thousand years. Methuselah was the oldest person on
-
earth nine hundred and sixty nine years. And as sin
-
decayed humanity and sin increased in humanity, our length of
-
life shrunk. And now you're lucky to hit one hundred
-
years old, right, And I mean, I know there's an
-
adjustment happening, but good night. Think about being nine hundred
-
years old. I mean, and that dude never had a
-
hip replaced. You know what I'm saying. I'll give that
-
to you. A piper that was good, not anymore. The
-
Orange Man fixed that. So this this tree is there,
-
she says, you can't. You can't even touch it, for
-
God knows that the servent side of the woman, you'll
-
not surely die. For God knows that in the day
-
you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and
-
you will be like God, knowing good and evil. Do
-
you understand? The Church and Revelation was actually commended for
-
not knowing the deep things of Satan. The deep things
-
of Satan were actually tied directly to Jezebel and her
-
witchcraft and sexual immorality directly tied to her, and they
-
were commended for not knowing the deeper things of Satan.
-
You know, I tell people all the time, I wish
-
I didn't know half of what I know about darkness,
-
but I didn't have a choice because I was volent
-
told twenty years ago for interhaling and Deliverance ministry, and
-
so I've learned a whole lot more than I ever
-
would have tried to go learn about the enemy had
-
I not been called to doing that. Does that make sense? Like, y'all,
-
we live in a fallen world, and you there is defilement,
-
and you can if you're not careful hearing twenty thousand
-
hours of what humanity is capable of doing, unregenerated and
-
sometimes and saved. If you're not careful, you get jaded.
-
You become so focused on the dirt that it can
-
affect you. By the way, it's not prophetic to be
-
able to see dirt in people's lives. Look in the mirror,
-
you'll find dirt. We're in process. If you want to
-
be prophetic, then you actually look at the gold of
-
that person, no matter where they're at, who they are,
-
ask the Lord to show you the way he sees them,
-
and then you begin to prophesy their destiny and prophesy
-
their gold right. Because every single person, no matter what race, color, denomination,
-
we have all been made in the image of God,
-
and that very thing alone should be enough to cause
-
each of us to have honor for each other, because
-
when we start tearing each other down and we give
-
into that nonsense, we're actually attacking the very image of God.
-
We're actually falling into the place in Corinthians where it
-
says that you've not been properly observing the body. The
-
least that you've done to them you've done to me, says,
-
not even a cup of water will be forgiven or forgiven.
-
Not even a cup of water will be forgotten if
-
it's in my name. That means the most minute, minor
-
thing that you do when no one's looking, you're actually
-
building jewels for your crown to lay at his feet
-
when no one sees. Jesus intentionally tried not to be
-
seen it. Multiple times you see him saying, don't tell anybody,
-
because he knew his time was short, and his fame
-
grew to such a degree that he couldn't even go
-
into some places because of it. And he cared more
-
about the transformation of people's hearts than his fame. So
-
when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,
-
and it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree
-
desirable to make one wise, lust of the eyes, lust
-
of the flesh, and pride of life, we see all
-
three right there. She took of its fruit and ate.
-
She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
-
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and
-
they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig
-
leaves together and made themselves coverings. The very first thing
-
that happened when they ate of that fruit. Everybody talks
-
about an apple, it doesn't tell us what it was.
-
But when they partook of it, everything changed. And the
-
first thing they did was they hid from shame. The
-
Lord shows up and they're literally hiding. But everything comes
-
through those three gates. In your life, y'all says that
-
we have been forgiven, we have been set free from
-
the power of sin, and yet somehow we keep giving
-
into temptation and areas of our lives and embrace a
-
victim mindset. The moment we say I can't get free
-
of this, you're already under a victim mindset, a victim
-
spirit influence the moment you say, well, I wouldn't be
-
living like this had this not happened to me. You're
-
blame shifting, just like Adam and Eve did in the beginning. Well,
-
the woman you gave me right, We got the comments
-
flying this morning. But you understand, many of us are
-
eating from that tree right now, and we're deceived because
-
we're partaking of the good and it's not the tree
-
of life. We're taking from the tree of knowledge of
-
good and evil, and we're calling it spirituality, and it
-
keeps us earthly. It keeps us bound, earthly in our
-
thinking and even earthly wisdom. You must discover the difference
-
between partaking of the tree of knowledge of good and
-
evil and actually the tree of life, because you can
-
partake of that tree of good and evil and go
-
straight to hell, and many people will. So when he says,
-
it says, and do not lead us in to temptation,
-
but deliver us from the evil one. When we're tempted,
-
it's because we are led away by our own passions.
-
It says, let no one say when he is tempted,
-
I am tempted by God. For God cannot be tempted
-
by evil, nor does he himself tempt anyone. Let me
-
stop there. God cannot be tempted by evil. So why
-
is it every time the enemy comes into our life
-
to bring destruction, to steal, kill, and destroy, do we
-
blame God for that evil? Well, it's his fault. He
-
didn't show up, he didn't do this. And the hardest,
-
one of the greatest hurdles for us and our healing
-
process is to understand that there are things that happen
-
on planet Earth when it comes to steel, kill, destroy,
-
that he had nothing to do with and that and
-
that is very difficult in our thought our thought process.
-
But what happens is, and I said this first service,
-
as long as we have misplaced debt, as long as
-
we have misplaced unforgiveness, you can never be free of unforgiveness.
-
So if I say it's all this person's fault, then
-
guess what I can never get free. If I take
-
their sin against me and I say it's God's fault
-
he should have done something, then I've just taken their
-
sin and put that blame on God, and then I
-
can never forgive them totally because it's misplaced debt. So
-
then you end up living the rest of your life
-
in a cycle of defeat and demonic influence over your
-
life because of the unforgiveness. And you're stuck in that
-
cycle because you've taken the bait of Satan and you
-
believe the lie that God can be tempted with evil
-
and that he tempts others with evil. That's why it's
-
very we have to be very careful with our theology.
-
If you take a high view of God's sovereignty, you
-
will end up blaming God for sin. Y'all haven't fun yet?
-
Isn't this such an easy subject? I just oh, James
-
one point thirteen says this, Let no one say when
-
he's tempted, I'm tempted by God. For God cannot be
-
tempted by evil, nor does he himself tempt anyone. But
-
each one is tempted when he's drawn away by his
-
own desires and enticed. Then when desire has conceived, it
-
gives birth to sin, and sin, when it's full grown,
-
brings forth death. So the process it all starts with
-
a desire, and you have to understand when you've got
-
a desire in your soul. Is this my soul? Or
-
is this the Lord? Is this coming from the tree
-
of good? Or is this coming from the tree of life?
-
Because it says there's a way that seems right on
-
to man, but in the end it leads to death.
-
That's why Proverbs three five and six says trust in
-
the Lord with all your heart. Do not lean on
-
your own understanding, but in all of your ways, acknowledge Him,
-
and he will make your path straight. Trust him. Brennan
-
Manning wrote a book called Ruthless Trust. It should be
-
in the library of every I think is a book
-
that should be in everybody's library, Ruthless Trust, because at
-
the end of the day, that's what he's calling us to.
-
And if we don't have ruthless trust, we will never
-
live our lives in the impossible. Y'all. You don't get
-
to see the names of God manifest if you're not
-
in an impossible situation. We're constantly saying, Lord, let there
-
be miracle, signs and wonders, but I don't want any testing.
-
It doesn't work that way, y'all. If you need his
-
names to manifest. That means you're in the middle of it.
-
You need Jehovah Rafha. That means there's something you need
-
healing for. God's not gonna manifest healing when there's no
-
need for healing. And all of his names address everything
-
we need in this life. It shows you his very dna,
-
his very nature of who he is, not just what
-
he chooses to do for us. And when we don't
-
give into temptation, we give him. We give him our yes.
-
It says that he is actively working on the behalf
-
of those that wait for him. How about the temptation
-
of not waiting for your destiny? The result of that
-
is ishmael. So when you think about desire, what are
-
you desiring? When you think about your heart, where your
-
treasure is there your heart's going to be? What are
-
you treasure? What are you feeding? Do you understand the
-
difference between holy desire and unholy desire? Too many times
-
we are actually being led by our soul, thinking that
-
our spirit's ruling price Corithians ten thirteen. No temptation has
-
overtaken you accept such as is common to man. But
-
God is faithful who will not allow you to be
-
tempted beyond what you're able? Isn't that good news? Are
-
y'all with me? So guess what? You don't have to
-
get crushed by a temptation, Ladies, there's a whole lot
-
of girls now and mercygate, right. I mean, surely nothing
-
can happen with eleven women in a house right when
-
you're tempted and you feel like you're being tempted beyond anything,
-
because you know y'all have an off day every once
-
in a while, you don't have to give into that temptation. Right.
-
Some of y'all are smiling, some of y'all look like
-
you want to throat punch me, But no temptation has
-
ever overtaken you. Accept Such is as common to man.
-
But God is faithful who will not allow you to
-
be tempted beyond what you're able. But with the temptation
-
will also make the way of escape that you may
-
be able to bear it. Some of the best thing, sometimes,
-
the best thing you can do in the moment of
-
stimulus is to literally just take a deep breath and
-
remove yourself from a situation, come back to peace, and
-
then begin to address it. I tell people all the time,
-
the worst thing you can do is make a life
-
changing decision in the height of emotion. How many stupid
-
things have we done in life in that moment where
-
we're triggered, we're fired up, and then blah, we just
-
let it all out and then guess what, Then it's
-
clean up time because the moment we calm back down.
-
And by the way, if you want to know if
-
you have a stronghold, when you have a one ton
-
issue and you respond with ten tons, you have a stronghold.
-
Are you with me? When something very small causes you
-
to lose your stuff, that's a stronghold and you're not
-
aware of that stronghold because you're prideful, and your pride
-
blinds you from the stronghold. And before any now there's life.
-
I just love this morning. You got laughter and calm.
-
I mean this, y'all are awake. We all have strongholds.
-
Every one of us have had the pride of life.
-
God is dealing with those strongholds. You don't have the
-
ability to pull your stronghold down because you don't even
-
know where it's at, unless unless you have people in
-
your life that you actually trust enough to speak into
-
your life. And guess what, right, there is the first
-
step for that stronghold coming down, because that actually takes humility.
-
How about this, You actually bring your temptation into the light,
-
and then it diffuses the strength of it. Anything you
-
hide and try to manage in your soul strength, you're
-
actually fueling the enemy and fueling that potential assignment to
-
take you out. That's why he constantly says a house
-
divided can't stand. He's only got a few tricks, y'all,
-
and he uses the same things over and over, over
-
and over. And we have temptation because we don't want
-
to have perseverance in our destiny. We don't want to
-
have to wait for things. So the enemy offers up
-
a faster solution to get you what you want. The
-
problem is, you don't get what you want, and you're
-
not happy with what you get. Now, not only does
-
the Lord guarantee that he's not going to allow us
-
to ever be tempted to what we can above what
-
we can handle. Matthew twenty six forty one says, watch
-
and pray lest you enter into temptation. The spirit, indeed
-
is willing, but the flesh is weak. Jesus is in
-
the garden and he tells him, watch and pray. He
-
goes off and he watches and prays for an hour.
-
He comes back their sleep, he goes can you can
-
you not watch and pray for one hour? He tells
-
him this. But the key in this is watch and
-
pray lest you enter into a temptation. So there's a
-
direct link or key of watching and praying that strengthens
-
your spirit where you're not even tempted in that place.
-
So what is the answer to temptation. It's intimacy with
-
the Lord. Because you feed your spirit and you take
-
up your cross, and you bear your cross, you deny
-
your flesh, and now you're strengthening your spirit. Y'all understand
-
that as you mature in Jesus, as we grow in Him,
-
your spirit grows, and it literally grows, and your spirit
-
will grow bigger than your physical body. This is why
-
when people get close to the Lord and they are
-
walking in deep intimacy with the Father, which is directly
-
connected to authority. When you walk close to him, you
-
walk in a greater measure of authority because it's proximity based,
-
and your spirit will grow. These spiritual disciplines grow your spirit.
-
And guess what the Holy Spirit is insight of your spirit.
-
And this is why you can feel some people fifteen
-
feet away because of the strength of their spirit. The
-
enemy's not afraid of power. He fears authority, and it
-
takes authority to drive demons out. If you try to
-
have a power, match your power against their power. You screaming.
-
You can scream as loud as you want at them.
-
You get your veins pumping out. Try to be all intimidating.
-
They're not worried about that. But over and over and
-
over wherever Jesus went, they knew who he was, and
-
they feared him, and over and over it talked about
-
the authority that he taught with, talked about the authority
-
that he walked in. There's a difference between exusia, which
-
is authority, and dounamus, which is power, which we get
-
our word dynamite. So watch and pray. James one twelve says,
-
blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he
-
has been approved, he will receive the crown of life,
-
which the Lord has promised to those who love him.
-
Every day we wake up, we have a choice. Are
-
we going to walk in the spirit or are we
-
going to walk in our flesh. What's it take to
-
get you into your flesh? How big of a stinker
-
can you handle before you get into your flesh? Or
-
how about this, what does it take for you to
-
submit your authority to the enemy? Because the moment you
-
go into your flesh, you give up your authority. I
-
want to submit to you that we're entering into a
-
season and an era where if you think you can
-
be lukewarm, you will not stand. If you think you
-
can have one foot in the world and one foot
-
in the kingdom, you're going to lose a foot. We
-
haven't even begun to see the resistance. There is something
-
right now, even as we speak underneath the spiritual water table,
-
things are not as we think. And I can't really
-
go beyond that because I'm still connecting some dots right now.
-
But there's a reason why Jesus says, will I find
-
faith and the love of many will grow cold? What's
-
it take for you to grow cold? What's it take
-
for you to turn your love off? Everybody's different, We're
-
all in different places. Some of you all just got saved.
-
So there's grace there, which, by the way, for you
-
people that have been walking with the Lord for a
-
long time. People that first get saved seem to get
-
all of their prayers answered whatever they ask, like the
-
first six months. It's amazing they just so. I suggest
-
that if you're having a hard time getting a prayer answer,
-
go find a new believer and say, hey, come into
-
agreement with me on this. But the moment they hit
-
six months, they're in the same boat as you. Then
-
the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of
-
temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the
-
day of judgment Galatians five point sixteen. I say, then
-
walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfill the
-
lust of the flesh. It is mind boggling to me
-
how we as human beings, can taste freedom, walk with
-
the Lord, and then so easily go back and entangle
-
ourselves at times, thinking somehow that it's going to work
-
out differently this time. You know what I mean. Anybody
-
ever go back to something that brought destruction in their life,
-
and you go back because somehow you think maybe you
-
miss something. Final peace for years is the kingdom and
-
the power and the glory forever. God does not share
-
his glory with any man. Tewod Corinthians ten seventeen says,
-
but he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.
-
Now there is a glory of man. Even Nebicanzer said
-
that my glory was restored. There's different glories, but God's
-
glory he doesn't share with anybody. And nebecan Zar puffed up,
-
ran his mouth and then spent a few years living
-
like an animal. I bet you he looked gnarly out
-
there with the hair like feathers and then nail. I
-
mean that could not have been fun Philippians fourth, or
-
I'm sorry Philippians four nineteen. And my God shall supply
-
all your need according to his riches in glory by
-
Christ Jesus. Y'all, this whole Lord's prayer, it all ties
-
back together if you establish that he is your father,
-
and that he is good, and that he is a
-
good father, and that he's not looking to punish you.
-
He chastens us, he disciplines us, but he's not punishing
-
us where his kids, it says, fear has to do
-
with punishment. Every place of your life, where there's a stronghold,
-
where there's a lie, where there's a wound, it is
-
all love deficits. It is a lack of love tied
-
to true and you're viewing life in that area skewed.
-
It's like if I had a bunch of dots on
-
my glasses and I'm trying to see a picture clearly,
-
but all my vision is blurred because of the pain.
-
Temptation wouldn't be the same strength if we're firm in
-
our identity as God, as our Father, and if we
-
knew deep down inside of our hearts that if he
-
hasn't answered a prayer, it's because of his love that
-
he's at work inside of us, that he is forging
-
our character to look like Jesus. He's creating something in
-
you that can handle responsibility in his kingdom. He didn't
-
take Jesus in the wilderness to take him out. Satan
-
tempted Jesus in the wilderness. God tested Jesus in the wilderness.
-
He went in in the power of the Holy Spirit,
-
or he went in full of the Holy Spirit. And
-
at the end of that testing, he came out in
-
the power of the Holy Spirit. So understanding that every
-
time the Father tests you as his kid, he's actually
-
wanting to promote you. If you'll actually trust him in
-
the process, you'll not give into temptation to take a
-
cheap way out because you're going to live your life
-
at the expense of other people and then get bitter
-
towards them when they don't like that you're living your
-
life at their expense. It really is the simplicity of
-
the Gospel. We die, he lives, and to the degree
-
that we lose our life, we actually find it. And
-
it's that simple, y'all. If you want to live an
-
abundant life, Number One, honor your mother and father, because
-
it's the one commandment that comes with a promise. If
-
you honor your mother and father, it will go well
-
with you and you will live a long life. Sounds
-
pretty good to me, right. Honor has nothing to do
-
with the way they live, So even if they're stinkers,
-
you honor them as the one God chose to bring
-
you into the planet earth. David honored the anointing on
-
Saul when he spent fifteen years trying to kill his butt.
-
But we're too busy trying to climb the spiritual ladder
-
of success in the church, and unfortunately we will climb
-
over each other at times to make that happen. There
-
are things I do in my life where I intentionally,
-
intentionally try to kill reputation. Jesus made himself of no reputation.
-
But it's hard, isn't it, Because that pride of life
-
when we try to humble ourselves, that pride of life
-
will come up when we're not getting our way we deserve.
-
This shouldn't be this way. If you'll live your life
-
with open hands and give away everything you've been freely given,
-
then you'll see a massive increase of the flow of
-
the Kingdom in you and through you, Because the moment
-
you grab a hold of something and tighten your grip,
-
you've just showed the Father that you're not trustworthy in
-
that area to handle more. That's why it says don't
-
despise small beginnings. We're to trust him with vindication. Every
-
one of us have had injustice happen in our lives
-
where people chose to live at our expense, and it's
-
a huge temptation to want to vindicate your name in
-
those moments. But vengeance is the lord. I think if
-
we're honest with ourself at times, we don't want God
-
to vindicate us because we know they're gonna bless that
-
person and try to get them redeemed, and we want
-
to chop their head off. There's a difference between vindication
-
and vengeance, like when God's vengeance is that they're delivered
-
from the evil one. God's vengeance, his justice is that
-
the person that was wounded and wounding other people all
-
of a sudden give their life to Jesus. And you
-
pray for your enemies, and you bless your enemies, and
-
if they say you're going a mile, you go, hey,
-
let's go two miles. This is the way of the Kingdom.
-
It's absolute CRUCIFIXI to your flesh. It is always opposite
-
day in the Kingdom, opposite of what we naturally would
-
want to do. And when we're tempted, instead of looking
-
how we can get away with that temptation, we should
-
be looking for the exit door so that we don't
-
buckle under that temptation. You don't stay there and flirt
-
with it. And in that moment, in that temptation, what's
-
going to strengthen you and actually get you to look
-
for that exit door is the strength of your intimacy
-
with Jesus. Is your love for intimacy and to walk
-
with your father, greater than this little shortcut that's offered
-
in front of you by the enemy. Y'all. He doesn't
-
come like that. If I can't do that again, he
-
doesn't do that, Like if he doesn't, he normally doesn't.
-
I can't do it again. But if he did that,
-
you would never You would never be like, oh, yeah,
-
that's a great idea, I'll take that. No, he comes
-
to you in a luring way, an angel of light
-
that means you think it's the tree of life that's
-
being presented to you, and it's actually good, from the
-
tree of knowledge of good and evil, and he knows
-
the moment you partake of that it's gonna bring death.
-
Just because it has glitter doesn't mean it's gold. Just
-
because it shines doesn't mean it's the light of the Lord.
-
There is so much counterfeit spirituality in the church today,
-
so much humanism that has come into the church where
-
science is the boss. I hope at the end of
-
the day that we all realize that he doesn't want
-
us to go into temptation, because he's good. When I
-
when when you're little and your parents say don't go
-
in the street, they're not trying to keep you from
-
having fun. But the enemy tells you go into the street,
-
that's where all the fun is. Oh, don't listen to them.
-
They're stupid, they're old. You know, culture is different, you
-
know more. Now, go to the street, that's where the
-
fun is. And then you get hit by a car.
-
We were in England, and because they don't drive right
-
and drive on the wrong side of the road and
-
on the wrong side of the vehicle. It's one of
-
the that area is one of the most like tourists
-
get hit by cars there because you know, Americans, we
-
drive on the right side of the road because we
-
do everything right because we're Americans. Oh and but no,
-
but you always because we drive on the right side
-
of the road. Which way do you look when you
-
go across the sidewalk right? I mean yes, laughs, but
-
there you got to look right. And so people will
-
go out into the road and they won't look right,
-
and that's where traffic is coming. I did it once,
-
and these jokers, when I say they don't mind hitting you,
-
I think they'd blast you and just keep going. I
-
mean they didn't even slow down. I was like, holy cow,
-
there's a way that seems right on de manned, but
-
in the end it leads to death. When the Lord
-
says look left, you look left, Harvey says, look right,
-
you look right. None of this was designed for just
-
a bunch of rules for behavior modification, you know, like
-
the school systems with kids that are hyperactive, they'll, you know,
-
we'll just drug the snot out of all the kids
-
to modify their behavior. The Lord doesn't do that with us.
-
He's after your heart, he's not after behavior modification. You know,
-
there's plenty of people that on the outside appearance they
-
seem great, right, but in the inside they're full of
-
dead man's bones. That's your Pharisees and your Sadducees putting
-
weights on people that they themselves aren't willing to carry.
-
You know, we have prophetic words over this house that
-
God has destined us to be a movement. We're not
-
a movement yet. We're a small company of people. But
-
that's over the house. All of these different words, words
-
about worship albums coming out of here, all of these
-
different prophetic words that have been spoken over the house
-
over the last eight and a half years. The enemy
-
is not just going to lay down and be like, oh,
-
you guys are awesome. I'll go down the street and
-
just mess with them. No, we're fighting for inheritance, y'all.
-
Right now in this moment, we're fighting for an in
-
arridance from the Lord where we're and we're not just
-
fighting for ourselves. We're fighting for this region and to
-
go even further, when it comes to legacy, you're fighting
-
for your children. What will it be like? Not what
-
could it be like? What will it be like when
-
we begin to walk in the fullness of what He's
-
called us to, and we are a movement, a river
-
of God in this region, and that spiritual inheritance is
-
given to our children, and Lord willing our children, our
-
children's children. You only become a movement by actually stewarding
-
revival and keeping it going so that it actually becomes
-
a cultural thing, because your culture is what brings acceleration.
-
And so we begin to steward these things that God's
-
called us to. But that means the Kingdom has to
-
advance inside of us before it advances through us. And
-
if you hadn't figured it out, the Lord in this
-
hour is pulling down strongholds. He is cutting branches that
-
don't produce fruit and I think everyone has felt some
-
measure of that in recent months. Don't fall into the
-
lie that it's all the enemy when you're challenged in
-
areas of your life. Don't blame the enemy for everything.
-
Don't give him that much credit. A part of it
-
is actually the Lord resisting you to wake you up
-
so that you can produce more fruit. One of the
-
things I felt today I want to release is that
-
I really do believe that that the Lord is releasing
-
a greater measure of angelic reinforcements the there there is
-
a measure of the enemy uh and his intensity of
-
attack in recent months. And God's response is that you're
-
going to begin to see more angelic activity on the
-
good side. So reinforcements are on the way. And I know,
-
I know, we don't talk much about the angelic roman
-
the church, and you don't worship angels, but I can
-
tell you this, we need them. I was in a
-
session this week and I had I had a angel
-
who's assigned to me. In my mind's eye, I saw
-
him show up. And when I saw him show in
-
an internal vision, not external, I didn't see him outside
-
next to me, and the moment he did, the other
-
person what was on them cut their eyes so exactly
-
where I felt it show up. We need angelic reinforcement, right,
-
angels answer the Lord. You don't command angels, so please
-
don't try to, because that would be dumb. You don't
-
want a spirit a stupid angels answer. They hearken to
-
the word of the Lord, not man. So all right,
-
if I can get some keys, Thank you for listening.
