  1. You're listening to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the Week.

  2. We helped you enjoy this message from Justin Carpenter.

  3. Yes, ma'am. Come on, we've got two or three testimonies

  4. from church camp for the youth. So if you're a

  5. ute and you got a testimony, come on up.

  6. Hey, if you went to camp, come on up here. Anyways, Yeah,

  7. everybody can't went to camp. Yes, this is important, very

  8. important moment.

  9. Okay.

  10. We took a small group this year of only about

  11. ten kids because we just did high schoolers, because we

  12. did camp a little different. Olivia awesome, and a couple

  13. of us are representing with our camp shirts really quick.

  14. We were the Midnight Ninjas because we're like stealthy and yeah,

  15. we're carrying Jesus to people and anyways, okay, and we're

  16. like fighting the enemy. Okay, I won't do any moves,

  17. all right. Anyways, So I just asked, uh, there's a

  18. few that want to share, and they're just gonna give

  19. you a quick snippet of their experience of what they

  20. took away from camp. Yeah, okay, who wants to go first? Well,

  21. I give make it like a minute to two.

  22. Hello, y'all for those who don't know me, and my

  23. name is Ethan Streebeck. I do absolutely nothing here, but

  24. I am in the youth group. Uh So at camp,

  25. I wanted to go there. So I've already went to

  26. camp the past three times because we've done it for

  27. four years now, and there I prayed for a lot

  28. of people.

  29. I got to reach out.

  30. I got to reach out to people.

  31. Uh And it was really a blessing to be able

  32. to uh go and see new faces and be able

  33. to talk to people and pray over people and change lives.

  34. But one particular thing that happened was me Kobe and

  35. where is he? He's not here, Micah right there.

  36. We all went over to this young gentleman and he

  37. had hurt his knee very badly.

  38. So he asked us to lay hands on it, and

  39. we did.

  40. And what happened was, as we were praying for it,

  41. praying for healing, all three of us felt it snap

  42. back into place.

  43. He didn't feel that, but we did. He felt no

  44. pain after, So pretty awesome. All right?

  45. His next who's supposed to share?

  46. Okay, So I'm Kobe Massey and I am proudly basically

  47. adopted by these two amazing people.

  48. And.

  49. I was actually not even the Christian until about March,

  50. and so moving in with them. This was my first

  51. time going to camp, and I actually had a lot

  52. of anger in my heart still kind of towards God

  53. because I blamed him for things that have happened to

  54. me in my life. And so I got humbled pretty

  55. bad there and it was crazy, and so I actually

  56. came home on fire and we were sitting at the

  57. highly anointed dining table and I was just, you know,

  58. kind of feeling down, and he did a session on

  59. me with inner healing and I cried for like thirty minutes,

  60. and the lords just I don't I really don't know

  61. what I'd do without y'all. I still remember the first

  62. night I got there with my trash bag and a

  63. couple of clothes and I was just like, wow, that's

  64. a big house.

  65. So the house was so big.

  66. Sorry, Okay, So I have wanted to introduce Kobe to

  67. y'all as a church, but I didn't know timing wise

  68. and how or when you would feel comfortable with doing that.

  69. So since Kobe has brought it to you all, I

  70. want to introduce Kobe Lee Massey our third spiritual bonus

  71. son that we are so proud of having in our life.

  72. That we know.

  73. That the Lord literally plucked him up and plopped him

  74. in our house and now we have the honor to

  75. be able to have him as a son. And I

  76. am so proud of you and what you have come

  77. through and how far you have come, and you are

  78. a blessing to us. Aul. So I would love to

  79. encourage all of you church to get to know Kobe

  80. because he's amazing.

  81. N I also like before Camp, I still kind of

  82. hated people, and they really taught me humility and I

  83. just gotta love people where they are. And I just

  84. I told the Lord one night, I was like, I

  85. hate people. I'm not gonna love them ever. And then

  86. I camp again, like I said, I got humbled really bad,

  87. and now I can look at someone and love them

  88. where they are.

  89. So yes, good job. You should place it to Jossa

  90. that we're forcing it.

  91. To Okay, Okay, I don't really have a testimony. I

  92. just kind of wanted to share what I like took

  93. away from Camp. The speaker there this I've gone the

  94. last three years, and the speaker there this year's name

  95. was Rory and he had a really good way of

  96. speaking to teenagers and like putting it in ways we

  97. can understand. So he talked a lot about for forgiveness,

  98. and something he compared it to was like paying off

  99. your debt. You don't like, say you were a million

  100. dollars in debt. You don't need to go and just

  101. freak out and pay the a million dollars or pay

  102. the price, like you can pay two hundred thousand, you

  103. can pay five hundred thousand, That's what he told us.

  104. You can forgive three hundred thousand. You don't need to

  105. freak out because like how I took it was like

  106. God is like right there and he's with you, and

  107. in the midst of the chaos of trying to figure.

  108. Out, like what am I gonna do?

  109. What am I gonna do? Like I need to do

  110. this or everything's gonna like like be in shambles, Like

  111. He's right there, and you don't need to freak out

  112. and do it all in once. You can do it

  113. in parts and it'll be okay.

  114. That's it. And I just want to say that's a

  115. testimony that Jocelyn just got up here in front of

  116. all y'all and shared you do not even know that

  117. is huge. So I'm so proud of you. Okay, one more,

  118. one more person, haven't said money? My more, Juliana, Jake, Jake, Jake,

  119. you got something. Jake has something, but you really don't

  120. have to if you don't want to. Okay, Okay, sorry, pressure,

  121. A little pressure.

  122. Is okay, right, horrific.

  123. So I'm Jake Keflin, an incredibly humble member of this church. Yeah,

  124. I'm actually Justin and Lisa's favorite son by the way,

  125. just saying yeah, that's what I'm just kidding. So I'm

  126. not going to share a testimony. I'm just going to

  127. say thank you to miss Kim for sowing seeds of

  128. faith and just continually growing with us as a youth

  129. group instead of just expecting us to do it on

  130. our own. Yeah, we've we've all cried a little bit together.

  131. It's it was.

  132. It's been great. Yeah, I'm miss Kim. You're the goat,

  133. so fine, don't listen to him, You're the goat. So yes,

  134. thank you so much, miss Kim for making camp happen

  135. and all the awesome other things you do.

  136. Good job, that's a nice way around it.

  137. Good job.

  138. Okay, Juliana, did you have something to share. No, you good?

  139. Okay, all right.

  140. So overall, I just want to say I'm proud of

  141. all these I know we're taking a little bit longer, sorry, guys,

  142. but these high schoolers really stepped it up while we

  143. were there, and we had a meeting, and I'm really

  144. impressed how they came to me and they're like at

  145. the meeting, they were like, we want to begin to

  146. really lead a youth group. We really want to. We

  147. want this to be real, we want to take it

  148. to the next level. We want to go out and

  149. minister to people and bring them into the Kingdom of God.

  150. And I really watched them in a matter a few

  151. days really like commit to growing in more boldness. So

  152. I'm really excited for the next few months and how

  153. that's going to play out. So y'all keep praying for

  154. these kids. They are absolutely amazing and your prayers are working.

  155. So yeah, thank you.

  156. That's awesome. Oh update, building update. We are plugging along,

  157. getting more hard numbers in filling in all the empty spots,

  158. and we put over forty grand last week into the

  159. building fund. So we're excited, excited, excited, all three of you, y'all.

  160. It We've said this multiple times, but it's not It's

  161. not about the buildings, It's about what goes inside of them.

  162. It's about what happens on that twenty five acres in

  163. the very near future and the capacity for that to

  164. be a part of the fulfillment of becoming an Apostolic hub,

  165. a modern day Antioch. And I believe that wholeheartedly. I

  166. believe that's what we're called to do, and we're going

  167. to keep charging with the vision and the mission that

  168. the Lord's given us. I had a dream this past

  169. week a few days back, and sometimes I need help

  170. with dream interpretation, and so that's when my buddy John

  171. Thomas comes in and I sent him this dream, and

  172. he goes, why do you why do you give me

  173. the hard dreams. I'm like, cause I need help. And anyways,

  174. I feel like this dream is a warning to the

  175. Body of Christ and to those that minister prophetically in

  176. this season, I walked into Mark DuPont. If you all

  177. know who Mark DuPont is. Mark DuPont was on staff

  178. with the ar Nots the Toronto Movement in the mid nineties.

  179. He prophesied about a Niagara Falls type outpouring coming to Toronto,

  180. roughly a year and a half before it happened. Mark

  181. is a legitimate prophet who travels internationally. He's been with

  182. us once, he's gonna be with us again this January.

  183. And so I walk into what appears to be it's

  184. the house that he's in staying at felt very much

  185. like Kerrville. And he told me he found a secret

  186. room at the house. And when I looked through the doorway,

  187. I saw what seemed to be an entire house. Through

  188. the doorway, I saw that he was set up in

  189. the office and had been staying in a bedroom in

  190. that area. Then the dream changes and we're outside towards

  191. the back of the house, back of the driveway, and

  192. Marcus taking a newspaper and he's fixing to throw this

  193. newspaper into this blue dumpster. And the dumpster was full

  194. of newspapers, discarded newspaper, old news. And then there was

  195. a line of dead cedar trees lined up all the

  196. way down the property line, stacked like cords, but full

  197. trees with no life on them. And I told Mark,

  198. be careful. If you set that newspaper on fire, it's

  199. gonna set the trees on fire. And it's all gonna

  200. go up in a flame, and he was putting the

  201. newspaper in the dumpster. As it started to touch the

  202. other newspapers, it started to catch fire with the newspapers

  203. and the dumpsters, and then the first cedar tree started

  204. to catch fire, but we were able to knock the

  205. flames out and thankfully it did not catch on fire

  206. and burn up. And if you don't know what that

  207. dream means, like Bob Jones says, you're a dull non

  208. plan obviously, I honestly was like, okay, I have some

  209. components of understanding of these elements, but I wanted to

  210. tap on my buddy who is very gifted in that

  211. interpretive arena. And this isn't This is the gist of

  212. the dream, not all of it. Still praying into some

  213. of it. But obviously Mark represents prophetic ministry, particularly a

  214. more mature expression. The house would be the prophetic environment

  215. that comes from the expression, the secret place that is

  216. not so obvious but holds the mature expression, and you've

  217. been experiencing that. The newspaper would be the news the

  218. words released, care needs to be taken and how it

  219. is discarded as carelessness can release destruction in leadership unnecessarily.

  220. I feel like there's he mentioned that there was something

  221. else still praying into it, and I'm praying into it.

  222. But the gist of it is, y'all, now more than ever,

  223. we have to be careful with our words, and specifically

  224. God's words. When we have a prophetic word, you have

  225. to understand says life and death and the power of

  226. the tongue, and how we handle these words, how we

  227. discard words can actually be very detrimental. In this season

  228. when when people bite the dust, it's very careful. We

  229. need to be very careful to actually be praying for

  230. these people, praying for the repentance and those that were

  231. needless casualties of war, praying for them, praying for the victims.

  232. We need to remember that we've been given the ministry

  233. of reconciliation, not the minute history of destruction. And we

  234. need to have the very heart of Jesus and right now,

  235. and I've sound like a broken record, but I can't

  236. help it. There is so much there's so many voices

  237. out there trying to capture our attention, trying to capture

  238. our ears. Everybody's an expert. Just get online. Seriously, everybody's

  239. an expert. Just get online, they'll tell you. And now

  240. more than ever, what we need is the body of Christ.

  241. Understanding that Moses cry of his heart was that all

  242. God's people would be prophets. Well, guess what fast forward

  243. in the New Covenant and the Holy Spirit's living inside

  244. of every one of you. If you're following ministries that

  245. are giving daily prophetic words, knock it off. Get in

  246. the Word. Cultivate intimacy. A true prophet's job is to

  247. hold the Covenant of God before the people, and then

  248. to equip the body of Christ to be able to

  249. hear from Jesus for themselves, not spoon feed you and

  250. have basically Christian horoscopes every day. Are y' all with me?

  251. And we need genuine, real intimacy with the Lord Jesus.

  252. Jesus said in John ten my sheep hear my voice,

  253. the voice of a stranger. They won't follow. But I

  254. have news for you. If all you do is listen

  255. to online voices, or if you're not in the Word,

  256. you will give way to seducing spirits. Because it says

  257. in the last days there'll be doctrines of demons by

  258. seducing spirits, and that word seduction is not just a

  259. sexual seduction. It is seducing for knowledge. It's seducing for

  260. your pride, it's seducing for your control. It's the enemy

  261. seducing you wherever you have a stronghold, and he wants

  262. to bring you in so he can take you out.

  263. Because we're in a seed war, and it goes back

  264. to Genesis three. I will put M and T between

  265. his seed and your seed. And we're living that out

  266. right now. The enemy's working as hard as he can

  267. because he knows his time is short to try to

  268. hurt humanity, because that's the only way he could potentially

  269. get towards the Lord. The Lord's not afraid of him.

  270. He's not up there biting his fingernails. You know what,

  271. when when we uh yesterday evening, when we dropped thirty

  272. thousand pound bombs on a nuclear facility in Iran, that

  273. did not take the Lord by surprise. But I want

  274. to tell y'all now more than ever, we need to

  275. be watching and praying. That watch is an hour. Jesus

  276. said to the disciples, Can you not pray one hour?

  277. Can you not watch and pray one hour? Y'all? What

  278. nothing of significance in the Kingdom will ever happen without intercession,

  279. without intimacy. And our number one job right now on

  280. planet Earth, first and foremost is actually ministering to the Lord.

  281. There's a reason why most of our service is about

  282. ministering unto Him, worshiping him, taking communion, because in the

  283. mystery of this communion, as we hold these elements, the

  284. real presence of Jesus comes and every week as often

  285. as we do this, we do this and remember it

  286. to Him until he returns. We need people that are

  287. more concerned about the altar of the Lord than this.

  288. We need a generation to arise that cares more about

  289. making Jesus famous than their TikTok video going viral. Y'all,

  290. how much act do we do in a week that

  291. really has no eternal impact? How much religious activity are

  292. we doing that We've deceived ourselves in believing that it's

  293. advancing the Kingdom and making eternal significance, when so much

  294. of that time it's our own personal desire, doing spiritual

  295. acts that aren't His best nor his will for our life.

  296. We need to get before the Lord and say, Lord,

  297. examine me, try me, test me, Like David did if

  298. we're going to be men and women after his own heart,

  299. then ministering unto him and being in that secret place,

  300. not just peering through the door and go, oh, look,

  301. that's where the power comes from. No setting office up

  302. in there, setting your bedroom up in there, living a

  303. life of intimacy in there, being like Joshua. When Moses left,

  304. Joshua stayed behind and stayed in the presence of the Lord.

  305. From day one. He was trying to get a a priest,

  306. a priesthood that was captivated by his presence and would

  307. not move unless the cloud moved or the fire moved.

  308. But he's on the move, literally, the rising lion. The

  309. lion is on the move, and he is roaring. The

  310. water tables in this nation are rising in this moment.

  311. The glory train is moving, the outpouring is happening, and

  312. right now there are people out in front of the

  313. Body of Christ going, come on, let's go. But we

  314. have a choice. We have a choice whether or not

  315. we're gonna get on that train. Jesus never begged anybody

  316. to follow him. He said, unless you eat my body

  317. and drink my blood, you don't have life. And so

  318. many people left him and guess what. He didn't turn

  319. around and beg and plead and prad and go, oh,

  320. send the entire pastoral team after them, No, because he

  321. knew when they're on the run, you can't run fast enough.

  322. Am I saying? Don't be pastoral?

  323. No?

  324. So that's what you just heard. Cast that out in

  325. Jesus' name. But my point is, as a leader, and

  326. every one of you are called to be a leader

  327. and your own metron of influence, you're supposed to get

  328. out in front of people and say, this is the mission,

  329. this is where we're going. You are not bosses. You're

  330. not supposed to be pushing them. You're supposed to be going, hey,

  331. this way, let's go. You're pioneers. I'm a preach to

  332. this side. But the word for ministering to the Lord,

  333. the primitive route, means to attend as a menial or

  334. worshiper figuratively, to contribute to minister, unto serve and wait on.

  335. This is our primary job with our relationship with the Lord.

  336. We're to be waiting on him, serving him, ministering to him.

  337. So are you ministering to the Lord or are you

  338. ministering to man? The true test is when you do

  339. all of these things and no one acknowledges it. What

  340. stirs in here? What's going on inside when no one

  341. says a word for the last six months of you

  342. ministering to the Lord. Because if you were ministering to

  343. the Lord for the last six months, you're following Jesus

  344. and not a man. And it doesn't matter what they

  345. say or don't say, because your eyes are fixated on

  346. the author and finisher of your faith, and come hell

  347. or high water, you're following him and you're gonna hear

  348. well done, my good and faithful servant, because that's what matters.

  349. You're ministering for the audience of one and not many. Man.

  350. We got to get this, y'all. It's so easy to

  351. rely on all these other things. It's so easy to

  352. allow all these tools.

  353. We have.

  354. To be a counterfeit glory, to be a counterfeit move

  355. of his spirit, Like, oh, look look at all these

  356. people following me. Listen, say one thing online they don't like,

  357. and they'll stab you in the spiritual back on social

  358. media as fast as they hit the like button. Jesus

  359. didn't die for a virtual church. He died for the

  360. literal people. And behold a woman of the city who

  361. was a sinner. When she learned that he was reclining

  362. at table in the pharisees house, brought an alabaster flask

  363. of ointment, and, standing behind him at his feet weeping,

  364. she began to wet his feet with her tears, and

  365. wiped them with the hair of her head, kissed his

  366. feet and anointed them with ointment. Now, when the Pharisee

  367. who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, Ah,

  368. this dude thinks he's a prophet. He would have known

  369. who and what sort of woman this is who's touching him,

  370. for sheesus sinner. And Jesus answered and said to him, Simon,

  371. I have something to say to you. And he answered,

  372. say it, teacher. A certain money lender had two debtors,

  373. one owed five hundred denari and the other fifty. When

  374. they could not pay, he canceled the debt of both. Now,

  375. which of them will love him more? And he said

  376. to him, Uh, the one I suppose for whom he

  377. canceled the larger debt. And he said to him, you've

  378. actually judged rightly. Then, turning toward the woman, he said

  379. to SI, do you see this woman. I entered your house.

  380. You gave me no water for my feet, but she

  381. has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them

  382. with her hair. You gave me no kiss, but from

  383. the time I came in, she's not ceased to kiss

  384. my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil,

  385. but she's anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore, I tell

  386. you her sins, which are many, are forgiven. She loved much,

  387. but he who's forgiven little loves little. And he said

  388. to her, your sins are forgiven. Then those who are

  389. at the table with him begin to say among themselves,

  390. who is this who even forgives sins? And he said

  391. to the woman, your faith has saved you. Go in peace.

  392. I want to tell you, if you find yourself this

  393. morning as believing that you were forgiven little, you don't

  394. have a clue what your sin did. Because every single

  395. person in this room, if he were to count our sins,

  396. no one could stand. Every one of us would be

  397. eternally separated in hell, which is the holding tank until

  398. the lake of fire. There is no annihilation, There is

  399. no universalism. Jesus is the way the truth in the life.

  400. No one comes to the Father, except through him and

  401. him alone. If there was any other way into heaven,

  402. then he died in vain. And we don't have a

  403. good father. We've got a very torturous father. Then that

  404. enjoys torture. And that is not the case. There is

  405. no such thing of annihilation. You don't cease to exist.

  406. You will live eternally forever. And it's not his will

  407. that any perish, but all come to repentance. Listen these universalism, annihilation,

  408. all of the things, gnosticism, All of these things are

  409. doctrines of demons by seducing spirits that have come into

  410. the body of Christ. And you better be in the

  411. words so you don't get seduced. We have to hold

  412. the plumbline of his word. We've got to hold the

  413. plumb line. And we're entering into days that you better

  414. have your forehead like flint. You better have thick skin

  415. and a soft heart and become unoffendable. And when people

  416. come at you all sideways and crazy, you keep your

  417. love on, not your thump on Luke ten twenty seven,

  418. And he answered, you shall love the Lord your God

  419. with all your heart, with all your soul, with all

  420. your strength, with all your mind and your neighbor as yourself.

  421. See right now, we've got somebody working in the nursery

  422. keeping their love on you. Hear that, y'all. I believe

  423. wholeheartedly the way we are loving others is actually a

  424. true measurement of how we're loving God. And I don't

  425. know about you. Some days I feel like I do

  426. good and some days and there's a commercial. Some days

  427. you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't, or whatever,

  428. something along those lines. There are days we all have

  429. those days. We all have those days where we go

  430. into intercessory whining. We all have those days where I

  431. have quit a hundred times and I have restarted a

  432. hundred times. Even John was like, hey, go ask Jesus,

  433. is he really the one? Is he really the one

  434. we're to look for? Is there still another one? This

  435. is literally after he sees the Holy Spirit descending like

  436. a dove and the audible voice of the Father, and

  437. he goes, is he the one? Because he's fixing to

  438. get his head taken off and he's having a moment

  439. of doubt. Y'all. It says that perplexed times of trying

  440. will come on the earth. Perplexity of nations the nations

  441. are in perplexity right now, in this moment, right now,

  442. we have no idea because I guess what I ran

  443. still attacking Israel and the moment. If they do anything

  444. to any of our bases, then now we're escalating things.

  445. And if you live in the fear of the unknown,

  446. you're never gonna have peace if you don't understand the

  447. end of this book and that God is sovereign and

  448. his sovereign hand is over these nations. Hit the heart

  449. of the kings, in the hand of the Lord. Y'all,

  450. we have a free will. He gives us a choice.

  451. But make no mistake, he is not out of control.

  452. He is so sovereign that your will doesn't even violate

  453. his sovereignty. Get in the secret place every morning. I

  454. don't care if it's y'all again, if you fall into

  455. the trap that thinking. If I don't spend sixty minutes

  456. undisturbed every single morning at this exact time, I am unspiritual.

  457. No.

  458. We read in scripture where Jesus and the disciples are

  459. exhausted and He's like, boys, come on, let's go. And

  460. they get there and guess what the crowd caught wind

  461. of where they were headed. There wasn't Fox News, there

  462. wasn't social media. Somehow they still caught wind. And they

  463. get there, and then Jesus is there and the boys

  464. and they're exhausted. I bet you Peter had a trigger finger.

  465. I bet you he was like, Lord, can I please?

  466. Probably not, I just like that illustration. And what happens.

  467. Jesus said that he had compassion on the people, for

  468. they were like sheep without a shepherd. And even though

  469. he and the disciples were absolutely exhausted and needed to

  470. break kneaded downtime, needed to eat, he ministered to the

  471. masses in that moment. See, the ways of the Holy

  472. Spirit don't make sense when you're not walking in the spirit.

  473. And even then sometimes we're left scratching our heads. But

  474. the only way you're going to get well acquainted with

  475. Jesus is by being in that secret place, by becoming

  476. the one that breaks your own jar of oil. Lord,

  477. what do you want me to pray about today? Lord?

  478. What's your will? Because you told me that anything I

  479. ask according to your will, it is done. That's why

  480. I can give thanks before it comes. So start praying

  481. according to his will and give thanks in all things

  482. and everything you're praying. Guess what, according to his will happens.

  483. So he gives you a seed. Here's your answer. You

  484. got a bag of seeds. Every day. You're like a farmer.

  485. You're either sowing to life or sowing to destruction. You

  486. don't like your harvest. Change your bag. One's called life,

  487. one's called corruption. Change your seed, and those seeds are

  488. what's coming out of your mouth. Life and death and

  489. the power of the tongue allow him to extract the

  490. poison from the tongue. James three. It's so easy for

  491. us to get flustered with each other, y'all listen. It

  492. takes about three minutes to hang out with somebody before

  493. you bump into their process. You know when sparks fly,

  494. it's when my immaturity hits your immaturity, and then we're

  495. arrogantly going to figure out who's more immature. Boom conflict.

  496. That's not the iron sharpin's iron that we want wrong sparks, folks,

  497. are y'all with me? Now? The church that was an Antioch,

  498. there were certain prophets and teachers Barnabas Simon, who was

  499. called Niger, Lucius of Syreene Mann and who had been

  500. brought up with Herod the tree the yes, I can't

  501. spit that out. Let me speak in tongues for a second.

  502. We'll go on the tree trarch yep, can't say it.

  503. And Saul and and they ministered to the Lord and fasted.

  504. Now here it is, and they ministered to the Lord.

  505. What were the prophets and teachers doing in Antioch? They

  506. were ministering to the Lord and fasting. And the Holy

  507. Spirit said, now separate to me, Barnabas and Saul for

  508. the work for which I've called them. Then, having fasted

  509. and prayed and laid hands on them, they sent them away. Y'all,

  510. if you don't start with ministering to the Lord, then

  511. you're not gonna be laying hands on the right people.

  512. You're gonna start looking at people to fill a spot

  513. rather than what God's called that person to do. And

  514. then when you put people in things that they were

  515. never called to do, the very first thing that happens

  516. to them is they burn out and they don't stick

  517. with it because they know they weren't called to it.

  518. And then you do have some folks that are legitimately

  519. have zero perseverance or work ethic and when it gets hard,

  520. they bail. That's reality Samuel. For Samuel two eighteen and nineteen,

  521. Samuel was ministering before the Lord, a boy clothed with

  522. a linen ephod and his mother used to make him

  523. make for him a little robe and take it to

  524. him each year when she sent each year when she

  525. went up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.

  526. They guestimate that Samuel he had to have his word established,

  527. is what scripture says in his tongue before he was

  528. lent to the Lord. So potentially anywhere from three to

  529. five years of age. So let three years old, Samuel

  530. is beginning to learn how to minister to the Lord.

  531. Do you know he's the only prophet apart from Jesus

  532. that it said none of the words that he spoke

  533. fell to the ground. Specifically says that. And he was

  534. in the temple with Eli ministering to the Lord at

  535. age three. It says his mother lent him to the

  536. Lord because the Lord opened her womb. He was okay, Lord,

  537. here's Samuel. And then the Lord blessed her again because

  538. she was willing to lend him to the Lord. And

  539. every year here's his little three year old robe. Here's

  540. his little four year old robe. Think about her heart,

  541. because at three years old, he's in the temple learning

  542. how to minister to the Lord, and she doesn't spend

  543. time with them. His words established, and he's with the Lord,

  544. and she comes with that little robe she sowed four

  545. years old, five years old, six years old, seven years old,

  546. eight years old. Every year as they went up to

  547. do a sacrifice, she'd bring him a new robe. Y'all.

  548. Salvation is free, but intimacy costs, and it's not fair

  549. for people to preach a gospel that doesn't cost. Salvation

  550. is free, but if you want to get close to him,

  551. it's gonna cost you something. It's gonna cost you saying

  552. no to all these fleshly desires because you want to

  553. go minister to the Lord. It's going to cost you

  554. something to say. You know what, y'all, go ahead, I'm

  555. gonna stay in the secret place for a little longer.

  556. Joshua could have been wondering what in the world's gonna

  557. happen with Moses as he leaves the as he leaves

  558. the tent, what am I gonna miss out? But yet

  559. the presence is right there in front of them and

  560. every one of us every day we wake up. You

  561. have the full potential to have church with the Lord,

  562. just you and him, by yourself, in that secret place,

  563. with no one around, no one knowing what your right

  564. hand or your left hand is doing, and you're passionately

  565. pursuing him. You're crying out, Lord, show me your ways

  566. that I'll know you. I don't just want words on

  567. a book. I don't want a faith that doesn't have power.

  568. I don't want a relationship that doesn't change things. I

  569. don't want to talk about you and then see nothing.

  570. I want to live a life of sacrifice that has

  571. fire on me so that when I'm minister to others,

  572. Heaven backs me up. This is the pursuit, but it

  573. cost us. It's not cheap, it's not free. He bled,

  574. He bled, Heaven went bankrupt. He bled for us not

  575. to play church, not to play religion, not to look

  576. impressively anointed to other people. He paid a price to

  577. bring you in because he called you a daughter, he

  578. called you a son, and the number one thing he

  579. was after was you, not what you're doing for him

  580. for Samuel. Three to one. Now the boy Samuel was

  581. ministering to the Lord in the presence of Eli, and

  582. the word of the Lord was rare in those days.

  583. There was no frequent vision, y'all. I'm gonna tell you

  584. right now, the word of the Lord is way more

  585. rare in this hour than you think. I want to

  586. challenge you. Go take these prophetic words that everybody's giving online,

  587. that are self promoted, intergalactic international apostolic prophets to the world.

  588. Go take these words and test them. Test these words.

  589. It says that two or three prophets speak in way

  590. what they say. So much of this stuff is nothing

  591. more than Christian witchcraft at best. A lot of it's

  592. nothing more than political forecasting with the name of Jesus

  593. on it. There's a purging happening in the church. There's

  594. a purging and a pruning happening with the elders in

  595. the body of Christ, with the leaders and the Body

  596. of Christ and man made ministries are burning up up

  597. because he's after the authentic. He's after the no names

  598. that don't care if they have a name, because they

  599. know he didn't. It says he his reputation, He made

  600. himself of no reputation. So if we're really saying, hey, Lord,

  601. I'm taking up my cross daily. I'm following you every

  602. morning I wake up. Jesus said he didn't come to

  603. be ministered to, but to minister and offer his life

  604. at ransom. Y'all, we wouldn't have marriage problems if we

  605. were loving each other the way Jesus loves us. We

  606. wouldn't have so many marriages on the brink of divorce

  607. if husbands were loving their wives like Christ loved the

  608. church and actually laid their lives down. Y'all, It's high

  609. time that we let him prune us. Don't just get

  610. next to the fire. I had a dream this week,

  611. and I don't remember a lot of the dream, but

  612. I just know there was this big, massive fire in

  613. front of me, and everywhere I went, the fire went

  614. before me. And I was like, Lord, don't let this

  615. be a soulish desire. Let this become reality, because the

  616. Holy Spirit came with what we were baptized with what

  617. the Holy Spirit and fire his fire, it says, Our

  618. God is an all consuming fire. So don't get next

  619. to the fire, get in it, say Lord, purify me

  620. like silver, which is literally purified seven times. I was

  621. watching a video that this lady went to it, went

  622. and watched a silversmith to see how the process was done.

  623. Because of that reading that scripture about your faith being

  624. much more precious than silver, and she asked the question,

  625. how do you know when the silver's purified? Because you

  626. can go too far with it. He goes, Oh, that's

  627. easy when I see my reflection in it. How do

  628. I know when this trial's over? Jesus, that's easy, justin

  629. when I see myself and you when no one's around,

  630. When no one's around and it's just you and the Lord.

  631. What's happening when you wake up? Are you thinking about him?

  632. Are you thinking about all the things you need to

  633. do before you go to bed? What's captivating your mind

  634. is that, Lord, speak to me. Lord, speak to me

  635. in the night. Lord, show me what the enemy doesn't

  636. want me to see. Lord, Draw me closer to you. Lord,

  637. Purify me and mature me so I can walk in

  638. a level of authority and power that you desire for

  639. me to walk in. But I know you can't give

  640. it to me right now, because it would kill me.

  641. It's the day in and day out, waking up and

  642. saying yes, Jesus, one more day. Some of y'all are

  643. so fried. Some of y'all are exhausted from your healing journeys.

  644. Some of y'all may not even give a crap about

  645. your healing journey. Let's get real, but for those of

  646. you that are tired, just one more day. We're not

  647. promised tomorrow, we're promised today. It says, don't boast yourself

  648. of tomorrow, because you don't know what tomorrow is gonna bring.

  649. You have today. Today's the day of salvation. Today's the

  650. day that you lay it all on the line. Today's

  651. the day that you get to advance the kingdom. Today's

  652. the day that you get to see that guy go

  653. or that woman go in front of you that the

  654. Lord has been telling you to share the Gospel with,

  655. but you've allowed the voice of fear to be louder

  656. than the Holy Spirit. Today's the day for those things

  657. to change, not tomorrow. Today. Today's the day for you

  658. to pick up that phone call, suck up your pride,

  659. and go after reconciliation. Today the day to actually get

  660. honest with somebody next to you about the thoughts that

  661. have been going through your head that you're really not

  662. excited about. You're actually tormented. But the pride of life

  663. has stopped you from getting vulnerable, because what will they

  664. think anything we keep in darkness, we empower by hell.

  665. But the moment we bring those things into the light

  666. because we're children of light and live a life in

  667. the light, then guess what it diffuses it. I tell

  668. them myself all the time, because I don't want the

  669. enemy to have anything against me, to be able to

  670. use against me. I want it all the light. This

  671. is me hello on stage, off the stage, on the

  672. same goofball moments on stage as I am off the stage,

  673. I am what you get to the best of my ability,

  674. because I want to live a raw, authentic life before

  675. the Lord. And it does no one any good. It

  676. does no one any good to see people faking it.

  677. It doesn't because all of a sudden I create this

  678. superman Christian persona that's not reality, and people that God's

  679. tugging on their hearts to surrender their lives and walk

  680. with the Lord and even full time ministry. If I

  681. have this big fake I've arrived and nothing touches me.

  682. People get discouraged. Paul said, follow me as I follow Jesus.

  683. If you don't like me, that's okay. I don't want

  684. you to like me because I'm who I am and

  685. you have an issue with it. If you don't like

  686. me because I'm being fake, that's even worse. So if

  687. you don't like me this morning, that's all right. I

  688. still love you. I choose to love you, and that

  689. is on. It's your problem if you don't like me.

  690. I mean that in the most pastoral way possible. But

  691. my heart every time I get up here is that

  692. lives are changed for him, That this region burns a

  693. little bit brighter because we're touched by his fire and

  694. he purifies us. That your faith is stronger when you

  695. walk out of here because his word was delivered. Regardless

  696. of who's teaching, faith comes by hearing, hearing by the

  697. word of God. I want you to be challenged. I

  698. want some of you to have Pastor Justin's sermon for dessert,

  699. not fried Justin. You know, like I hope you're challenged.

  700. I hope every person that comes up here and teaches

  701. every time, every one of you gets challenged in some way,

  702. because if you're not being challenged, you're not growing. I

  703. hope you're like man, he is crazy. I don't believe that,

  704. and then you go get in the word and search

  705. it out. All right, is Mike up there? Okay, this

  706. is my ear guitar. If I can get the pair

  707. of teams to come up. You know, y'all want one day,

  708. and it's gonna be way quicker than we think. One day,

  709. we're all going to stand before the Lord individually and

  710. we're going to give an account individually for our lives.

  711. And I can promise you you're not going to be worried

  712. about the remodel that you never got done, or the

  713. jeep rubicon that you didn't trade up for. Sorry I'm

  714. getting personal, or fill in the blake, But what is

  715. gonna matter? Oh man, I wish I totally felt that

  716. nudge three years ago at Starbucks when I felt that

  717. guy was depressed and wanted to kill himself, and I

  718. never said anything. One word from the Lord can change

  719. a person's life. You know, in the August, there'll be

  720. nine years that the church. The church will be nine

  721. years old in August. And do you know how many

  722. times we've had people come that were a handful of

  723. times people were gonna come and go home and kill themselves,

  724. and we literally had words of knowledge released about suicide,

  725. and they did not, and they got delivered. I've spent

  726. hours after service fighting for people that couldn't fight for

  727. themselves in that area, y'all. It's so worth it. He

  728. is worth it. Let your tears wash his feet. Let

  729. your prayers be an incense to him. May you live

  730. a life that causes book books of remembrance to be

  731. written because you have this radical, fiery love that won't

  732. burn out. Father, would you just continue to pour out? Lord?

  733. Would you make us so sensitive to you, Hm, that

  734. we don't grieve you, that we don't quitch you, Lord,

  735. that we make ourselves of no reputation, that our goal

  736. is to make you famous, Lord, to see your glory

  737. pour out, to see the lives of others touched by

  738. your spirit, to preach the only eternal gospel of the Kingdom. Lord,

  739. to live our lives like drink offerings, being willing to

  740. be poured out into any container of your desire. So Lord,

  741. may we walk in your fire. Lord, May we walk

  742. in your spirit and be washed by you and Father.

  743. Please forgive us for every idle word that we have

  744. ever spoken. Lord, Please forgive us for every word of

  745. gossip or slander or accusations. Lord, forgive us for every

  746. time we did not present you accurately. Lord, Job's friends

  747. did not present you accurately, and it sounded amazing, it

  748. was truth, but it wasn't the truth of Job, and

  749. you would not hear them. You had Job intercede for

  750. them because your anger burned against them for not presenting

  751. you correctly. Father, I pray that that would cause the

  752. fear of the Lord, and that we would not claim

  753. to hear you so flippantly, that we would not claim

  754. to say what you're saying so flippantly, but that we

  755. would speak your words Lord, with the fear of the

  756. Lord and with humility and love. So Father, meet with

  757. us this week. Lord. We would be led by your

  758. spirit and not our soul. We would stay sensitive to

  759. the doves leading draw us deep this week in the

  760. secret place, and may we truly break open those alabaster

  761. jars of perfume. Lord, in Jesus' name.

  762. Thank you for listening.
