  1. Joylessly to the Cross Kingdom Sermon of the Week. We

  2. hope you enjoyed this message from Justin Carpenter Kim. Could

  3. you give her the mic? She's got a testimony. Could

  4. you let everybody know who you are as well? I

  5. go way back with her to impact in the yes

  6. old days.

  7. I just want to say, I'm Barbara Derker Ingolman and

  8. have a son who is sixty years old who lives

  9. in California, and they call me Thursday night and said

  10. he had been feeling poorly for a couple of weeks

  11. and finally his wife just took him to the hospital

  12. and they said the left ventricle of his heart was

  13. ballooned out and that if it ruptured it would be fatal,

  14. and they didn't do.

  15. That care there.

  16. So they called four or five towns in California trying

  17. to find a place for him, and everybody nobody had

  18. a bed. Finally, the Redlands, which was an hour or

  19. so away, said that they didn't have one, but as

  20. soon as they did they would take him. Well, they

  21. did take him. His heart did rupture and the doctors

  22. said that a blood clot blocked the hole. And she

  23. said every doctor that came in said, how are you

  24. even alive?

  25. Wow?

  26. And so I just want to give God glory today

  27. because he was a god. Yes, thank you.

  28. This man, thank you for sharing. Yesterday I was in

  29. a three hour meeting with leaders in Ingram and Hunt

  30. and we're I was asked to be a part of

  31. forging kind of a task force, if you will. But

  32. uh so that West Kerr has a has a clear

  33. voice and uh in a seat at the table with

  34. all these other Kerrville uh meetings that no one knows of,

  35. and uh, we've just been trying to do do our

  36. part to bring clear communication. We're also there's a pastors

  37. meeting this week coming up as well, and trying to

  38. work with all the pastors. Serve Source has had a

  39. huge part in that. So I don't know if Derek

  40. is watching online, but he's out of Austin. Him and

  41. Dennis are the founders of Serve Source and anyways, it's

  42. it's definitely a marathon. And just so y'all know, we

  43. did start taking applications. We have three or four checks

  44. ready to disperse on Monday. We've just received a whole

  45. bunch of other applications as well, and we just received

  46. another ten thousand in the mail. I mean checks are

  47. coming in from all over the United States. Once the

  48. we have two more donations I know for sure coming

  49. for an additional forty five thousand, and we've had donations

  50. to be able to cover the expense of operating as

  51. a distribution center. And so we will continue to get

  52. money into the hands of those that have been affected

  53. by the flood directly, and we have policies and procedures

  54. in place to vet them to make sure that we're

  55. not sending funds to stinkers. We'll just say that because

  56. there have been a few stinkers around in the last

  57. three weeks. And I've been tempted for fivefold ministry, but

  58. self control is a fruit of the spirit. Hallelujah. Anyways,

  59. But yeah, y'all, it's listening to so many, so many

  60. testimonies over the last week of people that have come

  61. in and I don't know, I don't know how many

  62. people literally clung to life or clung to trees to

  63. save their lives. And John Flowers, the electrician, he ended

  64. up going into his got his dog, went back in

  65. his bedroom. There was two or three foot of water

  66. in his house and the door slam shut with two

  67. or three water or two or three water, two or

  68. three feet of water, and it's somehow it slams shut.

  69. He got on his mattress, floated up with his dog,

  70. floated back down. Talked to another couple and hunt when

  71. we were doing applications, and he he woke up, stepped

  72. into water, thought the water line broke on his fridge,

  73. went to try to you know. He's walking around and

  74. he looks outside and sees the sliding glass doors. It's

  75. like a fish bowl. And he wakes his wife up

  76. and says, hey, the only way we're going we can't

  77. get out of here, we can't drive. The only way

  78. we're gonna make it is if we get in the attic.

  79. And so he pulls the attic door down, drops the ladder.

  80. She gets up the ladder, he takes the first step,

  81. he hears all the glass break because the pressure on

  82. the sliding glass doors, there's instantly over a foot of water.

  83. By the time he's into the attic with no windows

  84. up there, the water was at seven feet inside of

  85. his house. And they rode it out and survived by

  86. staying up there. But they were hearing glass break. Didn't

  87. know what was going on. I mean, there's so so

  88. many stories. We prayed over three people that were hanging

  89. onto trees. The lady was pregnant. I mean, just my goodness,

  90. you know they we know now that this was a

  91. thousand year flood and at one point water was flowing

  92. nine hundred and fifty That was interesting. There's a big

  93. flash of light there, not the light there a light there.

  94. Nine hundred and fifty thousand gass a second. In three hours,

  95. more rain fell, more water ran through here than what

  96. flows in twenty four hours at Niagara Falls. And thank

  97. god that some of the camps were not in session

  98. because it would have been way, way worse. But we

  99. need to continue to pray for the families Mystic. There's

  100. still a man and one kid from Mystic missing on

  101. the list, and I would assume as they drain, begin

  102. to drain sections and really clean up, we'll begin to

  103. find others that were not on there. So this is

  104. a marathon, So thank you, thankful for everybody that's been involved.

  105. And I mean I think everyone's done something and containing

  106. I mean there are people all through this room. Megan Nichols,

  107. she came with a box of hib cards, that Ahib

  108. gave us ten grand were of HIV cards y'all give away,

  109. and I mean it's I could go all over through

  110. this room from all of y'all that have that have

  111. been serving, and so from the bottom of our hearts,

  112. thank you. If you didn't hear that, that was thank you.

  113. June of twenty twenty something shifted five years ago. We

  114. literally shifted into a new era era. I would say

  115. that we have really stepped into accelerated birth pains. I

  116. think it's impossible not to understand that floods and earthquakes

  117. and volcanoes. I mean, it's all over the news every

  118. other time you turn around. And I would love to

  119. tell you that things are going to get easier, but

  120. they're not. We're going to have to have a very

  121. good theoryology for the sufferings of Christ. And if you

  122. don't get your mind correct with the sufferings of Christ,

  123. you will get offended and fall away. I don't know

  124. that the Western Church has had a healthy understanding and

  125. the sufferings of Christ because we have been so blessed

  126. and so hedged in for so long. But we are

  127. inturbulent times and God is raising up a warrior bride

  128. in these last days. And so it's my heart, with

  129. my little peace that I have that I continue to

  130. feed and lead and equip in the areas that He's

  131. called me to. And I can't think of another time

  132. that it's more important than clearly hearing his voice. All

  133. throughout this process over the last three weeks, there were

  134. just step by step we had to make decisions. We

  135. had to deal with disaster organizations that I felt like

  136. we're trying to sell me a used car to try

  137. to partner with us. People coming up pretending to be

  138. from an organization to try to get a list of

  139. those that have been dispersed so they could take advantage

  140. of them and run schemes. Watching the ring cameras at

  141. night with people cussing us out, kicking things over and

  142. stealing stuff. So we have seen the good, the bad,

  143. and the ugly. But hearing his voice, y'all, it's you

  144. have to be able to have peace in the storm.

  145. Peace is the potting soil for revelation, and if your

  146. soul is in chaos, it's going to be very difficult

  147. for you to hear the voice of the Lord. And

  148. so I just want to talk for the next three

  149. and a half hours on how you can. Clearly all right,

  150. you're listening how you can? And Moses cried, Lord, show

  151. me your ways that I'll know you. This is the

  152. one who was taught face to face, who saw the

  153. form of the Lord, who he spoke to him mouth

  154. to mouth, not in riddles, not in parables. And yet

  155. he comes out of Egypt, and he stands on that mountain,

  156. and he realizes that God's way bigger than he thought.

  157. He realizes that his ways are so much higher than

  158. Moses's ways. His logic is so much higher it seems illogical.

  159. And if we're going to have true intimacy with the Lord,

  160. it's a two way conversation. We can't do all the

  161. Yakin says, be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow

  162. to become angry, For the anger of man does not

  163. produce the righteousness of God. James, And for you fedic

  164. folks that tend to lack of filter, like I do

  165. at times, you should memorize that scripture. Quick to listen,

  166. slow to speak. But since the beginning of time, man

  167. was made for communion with God. In Genesis three eight,

  168. we see the Lord walking in the garden the cool

  169. of the day, longing to meet with Adam and Eve.

  170. But this day was different because all of humanity had

  171. just been changed by the choice of man, and instead

  172. of coming to the Lord for communion, now there was

  173. a wedge between them. Adam and Eve are hiding from

  174. the very one who had created them. We see in

  175. Genesis four twenty six, two hundred and thirty five years

  176. would pass before man once again begin to call on

  177. the name of the Lord and the Old Covenant. The

  178. Holy Spirit only rested on a select few, and one

  179. of the signs of his presence resting on them was prophecy.

  180. And Amos three to seven. We see that God does

  181. nothing without revealing his secrets to his prophets. Moses' heart

  182. was that God's spirit would rest on all God's children,

  183. that prayer would be answered on the day of Pentecost,

  184. shortly after the Resurrection and the New Covenant. Every one

  185. of you, all of His sons and daughters, have been

  186. given this amazing gift of His spirit. Now all are

  187. able to prophesy and God. And God would have us

  188. earnestly desire all of the gifts, but especially prophecy. Why

  189. because it's for the edification exhortation and comfort of the church.

  190. It addresses your tripod being because you are spirit, soul

  191. and body, and edification is spirit right, comfort is your soul,

  192. and I exhort you, so edification, exhortation, and comfort, spirit,

  193. soul and body. There are times where we need a

  194. comforting word to bring peace to our soul. Anytime you

  195. see the word exhort, I exhort you, brethren, to offer

  196. your bodies as a living sacrifice. We have to bring

  197. our bodies into submission. We've got to choose daily to

  198. take up our cross. But this issue of hearing God

  199. and bringing edification, exhortation, and comfort to the body of

  200. Christ is pretty important, and unfortunately, I think a lot

  201. of us lack and understanding of the ways in which

  202. He can speak to us so that we can bring

  203. those three things to the church. And numbers twelve, six

  204. to eight. He said, hear my words. If there's a

  205. prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to

  206. him in a vision. I speak with him in a dream.

  207. So there's a characteristic difference between dreams and visions. He

  208. will make himself known to you through vision, which tends

  209. to be more literal, but he will speak to you.

  210. And a dream which tends to be very metaphoric. And

  211. that's why it tends to be your old men that

  212. will dream dreams, because the interpretive process is more difficult

  213. versus visions that are more literal and easier to understand.

  214. But make no mistake, that is more of a spiritual

  215. age than just a physical age, so he says, But not,

  216. my servant, Moses. He's faithful in all my house with him.

  217. I speak mouth to mouth clearly and not in riddles.

  218. And he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then

  219. were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses.

  220. There was a little family squabble there, if you can

  221. remember that, just a smidge right. Job thirty three, fourteen

  222. to sixteen says, for God may speak in one way

  223. or in another, yet man does not perceive it. And

  224. a dream and a vision of the night when deep

  225. sleep falls upon men while slumbering down their beds, He

  226. opens the ears of men and seals their instruction. Do

  227. you realize by the time you are sixty years old,

  228. who's sixty or older in your here? I know I

  229. look like it, but that's just been for the last

  230. few weeks of pastoring. But by the time you're sixty

  231. years old, you'll have slept one third of your life.

  232. Some of y'all still need to wake up, But that's

  233. another sermon. And guess what one third of the Bible's

  234. dreams and visions. But I have a question. Do you

  235. think God could say something to you in twenty years

  236. of sleep? Why your mouth is closed and your ears

  237. are open? That was free? But John ten twenty seven,

  238. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and

  239. they follow me. I keep over the last couple of

  240. weeks I kept seeing eight eighteen. Right now, I'm not

  241. one of those hyper you know, prophetic people that every

  242. time I see ten ten, I'm like doing cartwheels, or

  243. it's eleven eleven, who twelve twelve? Governmental divinement or alignment.

  244. But when the Lord begins to show you numbers and

  245. draw your attention to those things, it's important to pay

  246. attention and always go to the scripture first and foremost,

  247. always go to the scripture. Interestingly enough, there's a couple scriptures.

  248. Romans eight eighteen says, for I consider that the suffering

  249. of this present time are not worth comparing with the

  250. glory that is to be revealed to us. Let me

  251. say that again, for I consider that the sufferings of

  252. this time, at present time, are not worth comparing with

  253. the glory that is to be revealed to us. Now,

  254. this is Paul saying this, y'all. You know I giggle

  255. at times when I hear people go, oh, yeah, I've

  256. got Paul's thorn. No, you don't. I mean that in

  257. the most pastoral way possible. You don't have that because

  258. Paul had this thorn because of the great revelations he

  259. had received. He was literally taught face to face by

  260. the risen Lord Jesus, and he had revelation that was

  261. not even lawful to talk about on earth. That's why

  262. he had that thorn to buffer him from spiritual pride

  263. and his sufferings. Last time I checked, there's nobody in

  264. this room that has his resume, and I don't know

  265. if there's any of us in our right minds that

  266. would sign up for that resume. But the other scripture

  267. is this, and this is what this particular Luke eight

  268. eighteen ties into what I'm talking about. Take care than

  269. how you hear, for to the one who has more

  270. will be given and from the one who has not

  271. even what he thinks he has, will be taken away. See,

  272. there's a Kingdom principle that's applica to every aspect of

  273. our life. And it's simply this, whatever you stuart will grow.

  274. Your stewardship is a law of promotion. If you're faithful

  275. and a little, you'll be faithful and much. And if

  276. you want to hear the voice of the Lord, if

  277. you want to grow in hearing his voice, then you

  278. better take heed on how you hear. And this is

  279. implied that you're actually being obedient to what you're hearing.

  280. The Hebrews understand when it says here, oh Israel, that

  281. means obey what is about to be said. That implies

  282. to if you look at that Hebrew word obedience, it's

  283. not simply just saying oh yeah, amen, Amen, that's a

  284. good word. And then walk out of here and live

  285. like hell. I promise you will not grow in hearing

  286. the voice of the Lord. In fact, some of you

  287. have stopped dreaming and stopped having encounters because you're disobedient

  288. to the last thing he told you. And if you'll

  289. be obedient to the last thing, if you'll take heat

  290. and how you hear it's quiet. I didn't write this this,

  291. You know this was can't blame me. Well, I guess

  292. you can have fun, but take heat. And how you

  293. hear now? The boy Samuel was ministering to the Lord

  294. in the presence of Eli, and the word of the

  295. Lord was rare in those days. Can I tell you

  296. I really feel like the true word of the Lord

  297. is much rarer right now than you think. Pull away

  298. all the charismatic height. Pay attention to how God is

  299. purifying the prophetic movement right now, which is desperately needed.

  300. And there's more purification on the doorstep. But we need

  301. to be in a place with the fear of the

  302. Lord that when we claim to have said something from

  303. the Lord that it's actually him. We use his name

  304. so flippantly when it says, don't take the Lord your

  305. God's name in vain, You can take his name in

  306. vain by misusing his name. How about this spiritual manipulation?

  307. You say, you go, well, the Lord told me because

  308. you don't want anybody to hold you accountable for the

  309. word that you had. When I teach on dreams and visions,

  310. one time I was doing a dream interpretation and this

  311. particular person gave me the interpretation, or gave me the dream,

  312. and then asked me for the interpretation. And about midway

  313. they said, well, that's not what the Lord told me.

  314. I said, oh, I'm sorry, and I stopped right then

  315. and there. I said, the Lord's already given you the interpretation.

  316. Well yeah, I said, then why are you asking me.

  317. I can't he's already told you. I can't change that.

  318. And I didn't interpret dream anymore. Y'all. It's we, as

  319. Bobby Connor says, we have gotten way too familiar with

  320. the God we hardly know. And I know this that

  321. in these turbulent times, I want to hear his voice clearly.

  322. I want him to show me his ways that I

  323. will know him. And I want to carry his presence

  324. like the ark. And so the word of the Lord

  325. was rare in those days. There was no frequent vision.

  326. At that time, Eli, whose eyesight had begun to grow

  327. dim so that he could not see, was lying down

  328. in his own place. The lamp of God had not

  329. yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the

  330. temple of the Lord where the Ark of God was.

  331. Then the lords called Samuel, and he said, here, I

  332. am and he ran to Eli. God calls Samuel, and

  333. he runs to Eli and says, here, I am why

  334. because the voice of the Lord sounded like Eli's voice

  335. to Samuel in that moment. And he was three to

  336. five years old when the word of the Lord was

  337. first revealed to him. So there's a way sometimes if

  338. you hear somebody's voice and I actually, you know, beside

  339. your spouse, I'm behaving that I have a good dad

  340. joke there, but I'm leaving it alone. But his voice

  341. sounded like Eli in that moment. He'd never heard the

  342. voice of the Lord before. And he was lying there

  343. in the temple, and he says, I did not call you.

  344. Lie down again. So he went and laid down, and

  345. the Lord called again Samuel, and Samuel rose and went

  346. to Eli and said, here, I am for you called me.

  347. But he said I did not call my son. Lie

  348. down again. Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord,

  349. and the war of the Lord had not yet been

  350. revealed to him. And the Lord called Samuel again the

  351. third time, and he arose and went to Eli and said, here,

  352. I am for you called me. Then Eli perceived finally

  353. that was his eyesight was the only thing dull. Then

  354. Eli perceived that the Lord was calling the boy. Therefore

  355. Eli meantords Samuel in this moment. It doesn't say that,

  356. but that's what he did. He mentored him and hearing

  357. the voice of the Lord. See, he was fulfilling part

  358. of that prophet's role, which in the New Covenant for

  359. Ephesians four is equipping the body for the work in

  360. the ministry. And that prophetic role is to actually equip

  361. you to hear the voice of the Lord, not get

  362. a massive following line up the entire church and feed

  363. you sugar words so you feel better about your soulish desires. See,

  364. you can do soulish prophecy. I can run through this

  365. room right now, through discerning the spirits and pick up

  366. on desires you have, and I could craft a word

  367. for your soul and make you feel really good. And

  368. you get out there and start running with that word,

  369. and you shipwreck your faith because it wasn't spirit that

  370. was soulish burden bearing. And it happens so often, y'all,

  371. and the men that are doing it, they know it

  372. because part of the realm of discerning the spirits is

  373. understanding what's in the soul. What's in the spirit, What

  374. is angelic? What is good? What is evil? What is demons?

  375. What are angels? Is what the difference is when the

  376. Holy Spirit's moving on you versus an angel carrying his presence.

  377. So therefore Eli said to Samuel, go lie down, and

  378. if you he calls you, you shall say, speak, Lord,

  379. for your servant hears. So Samuel went and laid down

  380. in his place, and the Lord came and stood calling,

  381. as at other times Samuel Samuel, and Samuel said, speak

  382. for your servant hears. See the role of the Holy Spirit.

  383. John sixteen thirteen says that he'll show us things to come. Now,

  384. we've had theologies creep into the body of Christ, different

  385. denominations called Cessationianism, where we have boxed his ability to

  386. speak to us in. But I don't know if you

  387. recognize he doesn't really stay in the boxes we try

  388. to put him in. And we have got to sharpen

  389. our spiritual senses. Hebrews five says to exercise your spiritual

  390. senses so you can discern between good and evil. We

  391. are in those days where you have wolves that look

  392. like sheep. You have false prophets right now, and you

  393. understand according to Deuteronomy thirteen, they can give a sign

  394. or a dream and it comes to pass. But yet

  395. the message behind it is rebellion against the lord. So

  396. just because it flashes doesn't mean it's gold. The enemy

  397. will come as an angel alight. There are so called

  398. prophets moving in a spirit of divination with serious accuracy

  399. based on existing knowledge. Masquerading is revelation, because if you

  400. have a gift of prophecy, you're like a satellite. You're

  401. not the revelation. And so whatever you tune to is

  402. what you're gonna hear. So important right now, y'all, that

  403. we especially this season, this moment that we are all in,

  404. that we take time to decompress, to damn, to process

  405. the day of the Traumas you know, for married couples,

  406. there's the connection codes, there's a wheel, and I thought,

  407. I'll be honest with you, I thought this wheel was like, like,

  408. what do you need this wheel for? And we were

  409. sitting in our den and Streetbacks were there, the Kendricks

  410. were there, and they modeled the wheel, you know, processing

  411. through the emotions, and I thought it was pretty undamned,

  412. you know what I mean. And we sat down the

  413. chair and I got about three emotions into it. I

  414. was like, it is. Do you like that, piper? It's

  415. so easy, y'all. Here's the thing. When you walk through

  416. your day and there's conflict, there's trauma, there's suffering, there's

  417. a test. You don't notice that first branch dropping into

  418. the water. You may not notice the third, fourth, fifth,

  419. or sixth, but eventually there's a damn there and all

  420. of a sudden, now you don't have the flow that

  421. you previously had. These things God has revealed to us

  422. through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the

  423. depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except

  424. the spirit of that person, which is in him. So

  425. also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the

  426. Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit

  427. of this world, but the Spirit who is from God,

  428. that we might understand the things freely given, freely given

  429. us by God. And we impart this in words not

  430. taught by human wisdom, not humanism. Do you know how

  431. much humanism is snuck into the church masquerading his spirituality.

  432. I could go on that for twenty minutes, interpreting spiritual

  433. truths to those who are spiritual. The natural person does

  434. not accept the things of the spirit of God for

  435. their folly to him. Listen, if you're in this room

  436. this morning and you've not surrendered your life to Jesus,

  437. I just want to encourage you. A lot of this

  438. is gonna I might as well as be speaking Mandarin

  439. to you, because it's not gonna make a whole lot

  440. of sense. The only thing you're gonna understand is that

  441. something is there's a void in there, and you'll you'll

  442. feel a drawing of God's spirit and may not even

  443. fully understand that. But if you're feeling in a drawing

  444. this morning, I want to encourage you. Don't walk out

  445. of here. You're not promised tomorrow. The natural person does

  446. not accept the things of the spirit of God for

  447. their folly to him. And it says, there's a way

  448. that seems right into men, but in the end leads

  449. to death. Why is the road that leads to destruction?

  450. But narrow is the path that leads to eternal life?

  451. And it says few find it. But the spiritual person

  452. judges all things, but is himself to be judged by

  453. no one, For who has understood the mind of the

  454. Lord so as to instruct him. But we have the

  455. mind of Christ. D'y'all, that's one Corinthians two ten to sixteen.

  456. Understand this. We have been given the mind of Christ.

  457. We literally have access to any wisdom or revelation that

  458. He deems fit that we need in that moment. If

  459. you act wisdom, what's it saying, James, ask for it,

  460. and he will give you unbridled wisdom. You ever seen

  461. a wild horse running in a field, not bridled, no saddle,

  462. no bit in its mouth, and it's just getting after it.

  463. That's how he longs to give us wisdom when we

  464. lack wisdom. He wants to run full throttle right at

  465. you like a horse to give you wisdom. So we

  466. got to understand that God's language is parabolic in nature.

  467. Luke a ten says this. He said to you, it

  468. has been given to know the secrets of the Kingdom

  469. of God. But for others they're in parables, so that

  470. seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.

  471. What I love about this is he tells us to

  472. the disciples. But yet then he keeps talking in parables

  473. to the disciples later. The difference is is he pulls

  474. those guys off to the side and gives them the

  475. interpretation of the parable. So what does that tell you?

  476. Only those that are humble and hungry will actually begin

  477. to walk and carry those mysteries. God speaks through numbers, colors, signs, wonders, parables, dreams, visions, visitations,

  478. angelic visitations. These are just some of the ways in

  479. which God brings us revelation. And I want to focus

  480. in the last few minutes on this, and that is

  481. the strength of revelation. I have seen too many times

  482. where people will get an emotional feeling, they'll be convinced

  483. that that feeling is the Lord, and then they'll go

  484. out and make some major major change in their life

  485. based off of a feeling, and then they end up

  486. shipwrecking their faith for a season and they can't understand why. Yeah,

  487. already number one feelings, they tend to be from our

  488. soul and not the Holy Spirit. Matthew sixteen twenty two.

  489. Peter tells Jesus, this shall not happen to you, bless Peter.

  490. Peter was in the beginning very much led by his soul.

  491. I'm convinced he actually wasn't when he chopped that dude's

  492. ear off. I actually think he was going for his head.

  493. I think he what a miracle that would have been.

  494. And he chopped his head off, and Jesus restored his head. Y'all,

  495. hit he took that dude's ear off, and Jesus like

  496. number two recognition. So you go from feelings, which tend

  497. to be the soul. So you may feel something about something,

  498. you may feel very I feel very strongly about red meat.

  499. I love it. I have a very strong feeling towards

  500. red meat. I honestly have somewhat of a strong feeling

  501. towards a good glass of red wine in moderation people,

  502. and only if it's okay for you. But that does

  503. not mean that this is the word of the Lord

  504. over my life. Are y'all with me? Okay? Until? But recognition.

  505. The Hebrew word is yadah, meaning to perceive or know,

  506. including observation and recognition. This is found in Second King's

  507. four nine. She perceived that Elisha was a holy man

  508. from God. I when we were at when Mike and

  509. I were at Bethel last week, whenever in the last

  510. couple of weeks we were at Bethel for a worship school.

  511. I took him to and I was meeting with Sean,

  512. who's the head of the disaster relief for IRIS Global,

  513. and I'd never seen him before, never met him. And

  514. he says, well, hew, I'll meet you at the Hebrew's

  515. Coffee Shop, which is in the church. And I walked

  516. in there, and right when I walked in, my spirit

  517. locked in on this guy. I go, oh, that's Sean.

  518. So I recognized that was him, and I just he

  519. had his head down, He's on his phone and said, hey, buddy,

  520. you don't need to text me. I'm here. And I'd

  521. never met him before. That is an example of recognition.

  522. And number three is word of knowledge. The Greek word

  523. is ganosko, meaning to know, perceive, or word of knowledge.

  524. You see this in John one forty eight. Jesus answered Nathaniel,

  525. I saw you while you were under the fig tree.

  526. That's an example of a word of knowledge. And a

  527. word of knowledge is a divine piece of information about

  528. a person, place, or thing, past, present or future. Do

  529. you catch that a word of knowledge is a divine

  530. piece of information from the Holy Spirit to your spirit,

  531. not your soul, because it's spirit the spirit communication. Number four,

  532. and this is important y'all, because as God speaks to

  533. you in these seasons, your time to ponder and be

  534. obedient to the word of the Lord is going to shrink.

  535. There are going to be times when you need to

  536. hear him clearly and act swiftly. But you've gotta have

  537. wisdom in the midst of it. If you simply have

  538. a feeling to do something, you better not go change

  539. jobs just because you feel like it. Are y'all with me?

  540. Like this is where we have to grow up in

  541. our relationship with Jesus, stewarding what he says to us,

  542. being quick to be obedient, but also not get presumptuous

  543. in the process. So discernment or discerning of spirits means

  544. to separate spirits thoroughly, both a spiritual gift and one

  545. Grifthians twelve ten and as a result of training your

  546. spiritual senses. In Hebrews five fourteen, Act sixteen sixteen to nineteen,

  547. Paul discerns the spirit of divination and the slave girl.

  548. Interesting fact, there everything that girl that had the spirit

  549. of divination, the Pithea's spirit. Everything she said about the

  550. disciples were true. She said nothing that was recorded in

  551. the scripture that was false. What was she doing. She

  552. was aligning herself with the anointing, with the authority of

  553. the apostles, so that when the Apostles left that region,

  554. that spirit of divination could come in and devour that community.

  555. You better be careful who's trying to partner with you,

  556. and you better know what is influencing them when they

  557. want to partner with you. I think my angel's back there. Yeah,

  558. I'm high five and my angel maybe fifth level of revelation,

  559. Strength of revelation. Dreams a symbolic message that comes from

  560. that comes to us. Whilst obviously dreams can come from God,

  561. your soul are the enemy. For instance, last night, I

  562. literally came under a demonic attack. A demon came in

  563. my room, wrapped his arm around me, had like his

  564. hand with a bag over my mouth. I'm feeling this

  565. breath on me, and I go to war. I'm fighting,

  566. and I wake Lisa up because apparently I'm in the

  567. natural in the bed moving a little bit, and I

  568. rebuked it in my mind because I couldn't move my mouth,

  569. and when I woke up, I was struggling to get

  570. my mouth open, and then I had warfare of dreams.

  571. The rest of the night. So I was like, Lord,

  572. we'd better have a good Sunday. The atmosphere is a

  573. little turbulent right now. But these dreams, you see Genesis

  574. forty one seventeen to thirty six, feral dreams of seven

  575. years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. Over

  576. the last couple of weeks, you've heard dreams shared concerning

  577. the flood. Now, I can't you know. I sat there

  578. and I recognized ten or eleven years ago I had

  579. a dream driving down junction highway yelling at everyone to

  580. get to high ground a flood was coming. And I

  581. interpreted that dream as not literal but metaphorical. And it's like,

  582. you know, because anytime things happen like that, you pray

  583. against them, right And sometimes even when we pray against things,

  584. they still happen. And that's again where we get stuck,

  585. or can get stuck in that tension a minute of

  586. that tension of mystery, and we have to give up

  587. our right to understand at times. This is where ruthless

  588. trust comes in. Lord, I don't know why this happened,

  589. but I know that I'm not going to allow what

  590. the enemy just did to tell me what to believe

  591. about you right. Sixth level of revelation. Prophetic word the

  592. Hebrew word neboo ah, meaning a prediction. This is always

  593. spoken by God through people Matthew sixteen eighteen. Jesus tells

  594. Peter by his names, by his names meaning rock, and

  595. prophesies that Peter will build the rock on the rock.

  596. I'm sorry, We'll build the church on the rock, not

  597. the rock on the rock. Oh my brain, Lord, help

  598. my brain. I just gotta get through this a little

  599. bit longer. Number seven. Vision. The Hebrew word is row a,

  600. meaning seer. Visions are usually more literal and meaning, and

  601. usually occur while awake. Daniel had the vision of the

  602. gleaming figure in Daniel ten, Acts ten, You had Cornelius,

  603. he had a vision of an angel of the Lord,

  604. and Acts ten Peter falls fell into a trance and

  605. into a vision. I had an open vision. I've shared

  606. this couple of times. But at one point my brother

  607. had an apartment and he called me one Saturday morning

  608. and asked me to come over because there was a

  609. lady over there who was super traumatized. And I remember

  610. I walked over there. Him and his roommate not walked

  611. over there, drove over there and him and his roommate

  612. were in the kitchen, and she was there, and I

  613. walk up, I introduced myself, I shake her hand, I

  614. have a conversation with her, and then I lay my

  615. hands on her to pray, and the power of God

  616. hit her. She hit the ground. She gets up. A

  617. spirit came all the way forward, who was not happy

  618. with me in that moment, and asked me who the

  619. f I was, And I told him I was his

  620. worst nightmare and he had to come out in the

  621. name of Jesus, I really did. I was like, I

  622. don't know why I got all Hollywood. But and then

  623. she fell on the ground again, and the Lord said,

  624. declare over her what she told you. So I just

  625. start declaring these things that she told me, and my

  626. brother in his roommate Benito or freaking out, and we

  627. finish up, you know, the prayer and everything, and my

  628. brother goes, how in the world did you know all that?

  629. I said, what do you mean? He goes, how you know?

  630. How'd you know her boyfriend's name? How did you know

  631. she was supposed to be a school teacher? And he

  632. rattles off this handful of things. I said, well she

  633. told me. He no, she didn't. I said, Jason, are

  634. you losing it? And he goes, dude, she didn't tell

  635. you any of that. I said, yes, she did. You

  636. were right here. I was talking to her. And he goes, Benito,

  637. did he did she say any of that to him?

  638. And he was over there doing the dishes, had his

  639. back to me, looking at the window, and Benito goes, nope,

  640. and I goes and I ain't turning around because the

  641. fear of the Lord was all over him. And this

  642. is why now pay attention to this, because this will

  643. give you insight into open vision. It was so natural.

  644. I didn't know when I went into it and when

  645. I came out of it. And it's the same context

  646. as Peter when the angel breaks him out of prison's

  647. and he's walking and it says it wasn't until the

  648. angel left him that he didn't know he was in

  649. a vision. So open visions are this real. I had

  650. another open vision when I was ministering in Egypt, in

  651. four hours south of Cairo, and I saw what was

  652. coming in ten months twelve months later, they were crucifying

  653. Christians upside down in that where I was, Isis had

  654. been training in the desert outside of there. You know

  655. we don't get to It's not like you say, all right, Jesus,

  656. this week, I want three visions, a dream, a prophetic word.

  657. You don't put your order in, y'all. And I'll also

  658. say this, don't sit around waiting for an encounter. If

  659. you study the scriptures, when you encounter God and it's

  660. on the way, you're already being obedient to what he's

  661. called you to. It says, don't despise small beginnings? Are

  662. you with me? I've had I've had one angelic visitation.

  663. I'm forty eight years old, where I was out of

  664. my body in front of this angel and then was

  665. back in my body. I've seen angels, I've had dreams, visions,

  666. I've had angels come to me in dreams, but a

  667. literal visitation one. So when you start hearing these nut

  668. jobs claiming to go to heaven every day at will hogwash,

  669. I mean that in the nicest way possible. Okay, almost done.

  670. Number nine translation The visitation to Heaven by God and

  671. the process by which you are taken Genesis five twenty

  672. four Enoch was taken home by God. Second Kings two eleven.

  673. Elijah was brought up by a whirlwind. Second Corinthians twelve

  674. to two. Paul's spirit, or perhaps his whole body, was

  675. taken Revelation four to one. John was caught up in

  676. the spirit on the Lord's Day. And guess what. Out

  677. of those people I just mentioned, two of them have

  678. not returned, Enoch and Elijah, and the Bible talks about

  679. two witnesses returning prophesying those Regardless of what you think

  680. of in times, those two witnesses have not come back yet.

  681. They've not laid in the streets of Jerusalem dead. The

  682. world has not given gifts to each other and celebrated

  683. their death, and they have not resurrected and breathed fire

  684. out of their mouths yet. So whether you're pre millennial,

  685. 'm millennial, or post millennial, you have that scripture to

  686. deal with. And Hebrew says it's appointed and de man

  687. wants to die and then face the judgment. So there

  688. are your two witnesses number ten. Audible voice of God

  689. sounds like many waters, a raging fire, a loud thunder,

  690. or a still small voice. Can I tell you something

  691. He prefers to whisper to us. And if we're not

  692. at peace in our soul, and we're full of chaos.

  693. It's gonna be very difficult to hear his whisper, very difficult.

  694. Look at Elijah, you know, there's an earthquake, there's fire,

  695. there's wind, everything's going on. And then it says, and

  696. then a still small voice.

  697. Elijah, what are you doing here? This would be very

  698. hard to hear if there's a lot of chaos in

  699. your soul, if your mind is racing a one hundred

  700. thousand miles an hour and you have all these thoughts out.

  701. Of you, hear this whisper. Peace is the potting soil

  702. to revelation Number eleven. Visitation of the Lord a literal

  703. physical appearance of the Lord to a human being Matthew

  704. twenty eight sixteen. After Jesus has risen from the dead,

  705. he appeared to the disciples, and I might say on

  706. more than one occasion. And then number twelve pretty much

  707. when it comes to strength of revelation, the pinnacle, which

  708. would be a throne room encounter, the Greek word has

  709. thrown offs, meaning a stately seat, an experience where one

  710. is swept up into the throne room of God. Revelation

  711. four one to eleven, the apostle John is taken up

  712. into the throne room. Y'all, you cannot access heaven by will.

  713. That is a false teaching. Going to heaven is invitation only,

  714. and some of because what it's done, it's opened the

  715. prophetic community up to vain imagination at the lead east

  716. to astro projection at best or not best worst. Nowhere

  717. in scripture did anyone say I'm going up. Ever, it

  718. was always a suddenly, and it was always invitation only,

  719. and they never knew it was going to happen beforehand.

  720. It's so important y'all understand this, because there are scriptures

  721. twisted to make people think that you can access heaven

  722. by faith anytime you want, and it is just not biblical, period.

  723. And I will fight that all day long. And I

  724. can tell you the fruit of many of those folks

  725. that believe that way are not the greatest fruit either.

  726. You don't have to like me, but you have to

  727. love me. Okay. So why did I go through all

  728. these the strength of revelation? Because guess what, We're living

  729. in turbulent times. Things are going to continue to increase.

  730. The birth pains are guaranteed to get closer. So God

  731. is raising up an end time army. He's raising up

  732. a bride without spot or blemish. He's raising up Joel's army.

  733. He's looking for the army of God to literally march

  734. in unison, to know their lane, to honor each other,

  735. to march forward and be obedient to the king. He's

  736. looking for us when we hear his voice, to have

  737. swift obedience, not slow. He wants us to have eyes

  738. to see and ears to hear. He doesn't want scales

  739. over our eyes. He doesn't want wax in our ears.

  740. He wants to be able to whisper to you and

  741. know that you're allowing His peace to rule and reign

  742. inside of you to such a degree that you hear

  743. the whisper. And right now, we've had a whole lot

  744. of chaos in our region. Right now, I guarantee you,

  745. so many of you, all of us, have had difficulties

  746. of unwhining, unwhining, whining it too, but unwinding in the

  747. evening because regardless if you were on the river, if

  748. you were here, if you were running deliveries. Thank you

  749. so much for getting rid of so much water, Megan,

  750. that's just amazing. There are two things that will haunt

  751. me after this for sure. That's clothing and water. I

  752. never dreamed that we would be overloaded with those two items.

  753. And for those of you that have been serving, you

  754. even watched my wife and I disagree over whether or

  755. not we should continue with clothing. I guess you had

  756. to be there. I'm sorry. Okay, if the prayer teams

  757. could come forward, Micah, can I get you on the keys.

  758. I'm gonna close this in prayer, But y'all don't leave

  759. here if you need prayer, if you're anxious, if you're

  760. still fighting trauma, and if you're having memories over the

  761. last three weeks that keep intruding into your thoughts. Those

  762. are memorials that the enemy loves to set up to

  763. bring torment. And so I just want to encourage you.

  764. I think we got more than two people on our

  765. per team, don't we, And I do believe. As a

  766. side note, somebody just got engaged. If I'm not mistaken, woo,

  767. congrats y'all. As he went to the men's bathroom, Seriously,

  768. I picked a bad time. The gentleman in the back

  769. there blowing his nose, he just got engaged. That is uh.

  770. That is Ben Junior, or to some of you, Gabriel

  771. and that is Ben and Kim's oldest son. And uh

  772. are you excited that the the these four will get

  773. to get to know each other a whole lot more.

  774. I'm so proud of you all. Okay, all right, I'm

  775. gonna close this in prayer because I can tell that

  776. I'm not gonna be able to complete sentences for much longer.

  777. So Father, thank you that your mercies are new every morning. Lord,

  778. we lift up everybody in this region. Lord, we lift

  779. up everybody in the seven counties that were affected. Lord,

  780. would you be with Camp Mystic and all the families

  781. that have lost homes and loved ones and and even

  782. families that still have people missing. Lord, I pray Father

  783. that every single person would be recovered and that there

  784. would be families would be able to have closure. Lord.

  785. We just lift the young girl from Mystic up to you,

  786. and then the man Lord, the last two on the list. Lord,

  787. we recognize there's other people that aren't on that list

  788. that are out there, and I just pray Lord that

  789. you would lead the teams and that every person would

  790. be recovered. Lord, I pray for the emotional spiritual health,

  791. the mental health of our community. Lord Jesus that by

  792. your spirit you would come and that you would minister

  793. to our community. Lord again, use us as the hands

  794. and feet of you this week for this community. Lord,

  795. let us be sensitive. Give us eyes to see and

  796. ears to hear. Hearts that receive, knock the callouses off,

  797. our souls, pull down our strongholds, expand our spirits for yours. Lord.

  798. Would you strengthen the gifts that you've placed in each

  799. person here today? Would you cause your anointing to grow

  800. in their lives? Lord, we know that through the crushing

  801. the oil comes. Lord. Let us not get stuck in

  802. the why. Let us not get stuck with demanding understanding

  803. of things that we may not have understanding until the
